This was my first time at Sacred Pepper and I had a wonderful culinary experience! The Sword Fish Napoleon that I ordered was absolutely great, special mention to the grilled asparagus! The server was very nice and not overly chatty exactly just the way I want to be treated! Also, we were served complimentary calamari while waiting and that was a nice plus point! The only downside was that the place has a lingering food odor. It’s probably due to the fabric in the chairs. No, the smell is not bad because it is food but it is quite too much. Also, I would really appreciate it if the crew did not sweep the floor while customers are still eating. It just spoils the classiness of the ambience and all that.

First time eating here but it won’t be my last. Had a very enjoyable Friday evening here with live music, delicious food, and good company. We started with the Oyster’s Rockefeller baked to perfection. I had the nightly special and my wife had the Shrimp. We ended with a satisfying Gooey Cake and Ice Cream. Attentive staff and reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

Our first time at this venue and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was wonderful and the staff made you feel very comfortable. We were there for happy-hour and a quick nibble. The drinks were reasonable and the food was excellent. Live music is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Get the Tuna Tartar is amazing.

I will say, the shopping complex does not do this spot justice! Came here for dinner after Christmas to unwind. We were not disappointed. The dining room is elegant with wonderful seating. The decor was modern but also felt very earthy. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails. There is something to be said for fresh pasta.

I really liked the vibe in here! Not to mention the food and service are top. I had the pistachio crusted fried brie, the Sacred meatballs, and the chicken burrata. Everything was delicious. Next time I'll make sure to leave space for dessert!

Perfect place to go for a celebration. We went for our anniversary and weren't disappointed. Reservations recommended. Not intended for children. Great selection of seafood and meats. Nice appetizers and wine selection. Great service.

Sacred Pepper is a great choice for all occasions. I visited this beautiful and very distinguished restaurant last Friday and found it amazing. I was late for my reservation, however the staff made an effort for accommodate me. The ambience is excellent, with dim light and music which adds an extra to the experience. The wine menu is not the best, but acceptable. The appetizer was great: cheese baklava. The food menu was plenty of good choices on steaks. I had a Prime rib-eye while my friend had a filet, both very good. I didn't like the fact that were no choices for sides. I do not enjoy having mashed potato and it was brought as default. I rather ask for Esparragus or steam veggies, but I had no choice. The staff was nice, very efficient, and diligent. It was not that expensive compared to other restaurant I have visited with similar features. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Tampa and also recommend it to friends and family.

VERY impressed. The decor is beautiful and the food was amazing. The homemade pasta was so good. Everything we got was great. The steak, cavatelli, oysters and baklava. The craft drinks were really good too. They even wrote us happy anniversary.

The food and service is the best! One of the best places in north Tampa to eat by far! My only hesitation is they have live music and, depending on where you sit, carrying on a conversation can be difficult. BTW - the piano player when we were there was excellent, so I guess it all depends on what kind of vibe you are looking for. The food can’t be beat!

Amazing food and atmosphere! There was a live piano performer playing during our dinner that just made the night even better. The wine was great too! We ordered the short rib carvatelli and the sea bass! Both cooked perfectly!!! Definitely will be back

Oh what a hidden gem! This place was a 10/10. Food selection. Taste. Price. Ambiance. Live music. We went last night and I literally said "I want to go back again tonight". Drove 40 min to get here and we talked about how great it was the whole 40 min home.

It was our anniversary, and this was the perfect restaurant. Romantic, elegant, perfect ambiance. The food lived up to the reviews! Best creme brulee I have ever had. This is one of the best restaurants in Tampa. My new favorite spot.

Chicken burrata was delicious! Shrimp diavolo was great - not spicy though. Honey goat cheese baklava was really good but be sure to pour the mango sauce over it to moisten the filo. Fancy ambiance. All in all great and will return.

Came here this evening for my dads birthday, Sydney was great. Very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Great food, great music, great ambiance overall, great service all the way to the busers.! House salad dressing with the coconut in it, fantastic. Calamari was great. 2 halibut specials were awesome and also the veal scallopini was great with that rich Marsala sauce. Finished with the shortcake…yum!! Great job sacred pepper team, you guys crushed it!!

Decided to make reservations here for my birthday as we’ve passed by this restaurant countless times but never ate here. Busy place (Friday night) with a very cool atmosphere. The dining and bar areas are separated and both impressive. They also had live music. The food we ordered - cocktail shrimp appetizer and entrees of ravioli, chicken burrata, pasta and Norwegian salmon were all delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that a restaurant offering a variety of different cuisine managed to nail all of it. Would definitely visit again.

I am always slightly disappointed when I dine here. The drinks are fabulous, and the menu is mouth-watering to read. The service is slow, and as tempting as the food looks, it's always rather bland - or waaaay too salty. The decor is beautiful, especially the lighting and the bar.

Had wonderful service from our server Kelly. Great food too, honestly truly one of the best restaurants in the area not cheap, but not expensive. Along with a complimentary share of bread and unique sun dried tomato olive oil. Will definitely be back here soon!

From the minute we walked into this gorgeous restaurant, great service, drinks, food and dessert! I’ve been in before for drinks and an appetizer but last night was the whole experience. And on a Wednesday night, it had such a good vibe! Chad is ever present on the floor, our bartender made me a delish espresso martini and our server, Dominick, was efficient, professional, and attentive. A MUST are the meatballs appetizer and the crème brûlée. We thoroughly enjoyed the oak grilled salmon and chicken…just a great date night and can’t wait to go back!

What an experience This was our first time at the Sacred Pepper and it did not start very good. We were running behind so I called to see if we could push the reservation back from 8:30 and they were able to accommodate us, it was moved to 9:15. We got there at 9pm checked in at 9:15 but was not seated until 9:30. However, the table was not ideal. It was a small table for two but between two booths. Not private and not enough space to enjoy the experience. I asked the hostess for another table which it took about another 10 to 15 minutes. Now, two other couples refused that same table after us, so we weren't being picky. We were seated at another small table but it had more privacy so that was fine. While we were looking at the menu and having drinking a different host (male) came and asked if we wanted the larger table beside us once that party left. Which I thought was very nice. I tried the Buffalo Blackberry Bramble, it was good and strong. My SO had the Raspberry Lemonade which he also enjoyed. We had the complimentary bread, they don't offer it we had to ask. But it was warm and soft we enjoyed it while waiting on our meal. Of course I had to try there crab cakes. They were good, very meaty and went well the sauce. Our dinner encountered an issue which our server and her manager handled very well. We also noticed that our food was delivered to the wrong table but our server caught the mistake and corrected it. My SO ordered the Penne Chicken Carbonara without the sweet peas but it came with. He did not care and was preparing to eat his meal when our server came back to ask how everything was and he told her about the peas and she took the plate back. They remade his meal quickly but by then it was about 11pm and too late for him to eat that heavy due to GI issues. I tried the Chicken Burrata which very good and the Brussel sprouts amazing. I must say the Berry Gooey Shortcake took the show. It was so good. The cake was warm and tender. The ice cream was super creamy, even the whipped cream was good. Although our first experience had some issues, I think it is a nice place to visit. FYI: if you're looking for a quiet and romantic evening don't go on Friday. We definitely will return. Our server Sydney was great and made the experience very nice.

Last night was quite an experience! We have only been here 1 time, a few years ago. And I have to say, last night made me want to come back every night! The ambience was amazing! Service was through the roof! Food was sooo delicious! I am a picky eater unfortunately and decided to come out my comfort zone last night and all the food was devine. Thank you Sacred Pepper and staff for an amazing night!

My besties took me here for my birthday. I had extremely high expectations based on the reviews. My two friends each got one of the steak options and both said pretty good. I got a chicken option with Alfredo...very bland...not up to the description at all. Tasted like a bad TV dinner....now I'm picky..i have a background in restaurantcuisine.... this is a place that it's environment speaks to a "high" dining experience which I would believe comes with a staff of chefs that understand flavor. And for the very high price per plate...I expected more. Dessert not bad. Cocktails pretty good. Willing to give it another try....

My husband & I went to eat dinner for our date night here. We were informed that the bar & high tables are first come first serve. Otherwise I highly recommend reserving for a table ahead of time. The place isn't huge but the atmosphere was fantastic. There was live music but not overwhelming to where you can't hear one another. My husband had swordfish with asparagus & I had the filet mignion with Yukon potatoe. They were both delicious! We also had a smore pumpkin cheesecake with Joffrey coffee. The coffee is served in a French press. It was overall a pleasant evening & we will for sure be returning.

Lovely place. The staff is very polite friendly and helpful. The Ambiance and atmosphere is superb. They do have plenty of options on the menu for vegan, vegetarians and omnivores lol. I actually only can here because a friend was chasing the chef who moved so the food is definitely excellent.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. To start, we pulled up to the restaurant that's at the end of a strip plaza, and I got a little worried. However, once we walked in, I felt much better about the atmosphere. It had an elegant feel but not over the top fancy. Our waitor was an absolute sweet heart, sad I didn't catch his name, and he knew all oz portions of meals and answered questions and recommended all great meals. The sacred meatballs were HUGE and so very tasty, the special for dinner was the red snapper and let me tell you... best dish I've ever had. I'm a huge foodie, and this dish was perfectly cooked with the salty of the fish lightly crusted and spinach au gratin with the sweetness from the pineapple sauce over the fish. Everything complimented each other and really made the dish an absolute master piece. 🙌 For the amount of food, excellent customer service, and drinks, we walked out just over $100 for two, and I was beyond impressed for the quality and quantity of the food. I cannot wait to come back and eat here again.

My husband and I, went there last night for dinner before going to a comedy show at side splitters. All in all great experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, very romantic. The food was good and fairly priced. Drinks were unique.And the service was timely and friendly. My only critique really is the name The Sacred Pepper, doesn't really scream contemporary Italian to me, and that's their main fare. If I stumbled upon this restaurant without Google, I'd expect like a Thai fusion or something spice focused. Anyway, I digress... you're going there for the pasta. It's handmade there and just divine. Here's my 2 cents on what we tried. Pistachio crusted brie 10/10 AMAZING. It's pretty hard to mess up fried cheese, but this exceeded all expectations. They serve it with a cranberry chutney which is a nice addition to culinary experience. Sacred Meatballs 6/10 I don't know if it's their pork to veal ratio or the lack of breadcrumbs, but the texture was a little off. And the seasoning of the meatballs itself was lacking. My husband had to add salt, which he never does. The sauce was very good though. I don't think I'd order these again. Bread and pepper oil 10/10 free bread is free bread but it's way better than your local chain restaurants Veal Scallopini 8/10 Great execution of a classic dish served with home made pasta. I would have like to have seen some modern flair, but if you are looking for something you know, it's a fabulous option. Lobster and Crab Rotolo 10/10 This was the star of the night by far my favorite thing we tried. I ordered a side of asparagus with it and the 2 were great together. Creme Brulee Bread Pudding 10/10 having just came back from NOLA and traversed all of their bread puddings. I have to say theirs is pretty darn good. Had it's own little flair. It was served with the best whip cream I've ever eaten and vanilla ice cream. I'd go back just for this! Berry shortcake 7/10 meh. This one wasn't for me, but I'm sure someone will like it. I'll definitely be back. Perfect for a date night, girls night out, or work dinner.

At Friday night is loud,crowded and definitely you will need a reservation, however, everything goes away when you seat and try the food. I went with my date, we tried different cocktails, appetizers, the main plates, and some dessert. I can't tell you what was better than the other one, we were amazingly impressed by the unique flavor of everything.

Our first time to Sacred Pepper, We were impressed. The small fresh bread and pretzel bread were really good with the sauce they provide, we started with Blackened Tenderloin Steak Bites with crispy polenta appetizer, it was very good. I had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo Linguine with house-made linguine, sauteed jumbo shrimp. Lovely crisp shrimp in a pretty spicy, but delicious red sauce, and perfectly cooked (not TOO al dente) house made pasta. My wife has the Short Rib Cavatelli with house-made cavatelli, braised short rib ragu. Very tender and flavorful short ribs. Service was excellent. They had live music, a woman singer, she was really good, great music selection for dinner, it WAS a BIT too loud for us, I would have liked it to be about 20% less volume we we could still talk. All in all a really lovely dinner, I'd have no problem recommending Sacred Pepper to friends and family.

Headed about this place on the Mike Calta show but it's a far drive away We decided to finally make the drive and had some friends meet us there. The place looks amazing inside. Love the look and feel. I was a little weary heading they had live music there.....Boy was I surprised. The live music was really really good. Waited at the bar having a few drinks watching this great musician play. We ordered 4 appetizers... Meatballs, Calimari, Oysters Rockefeller, lobster stuffed shrimp. All of them were amazing. The Calimari was the best I've ever had. The other 3 in my party all agreed... Meals came out. I ordered the petite steak and my Fiance ordered the rib eye... So savoury, unique flavors.... The cream corn.... By far the best corn we have ever had that we shared with everyone at the table. I haven't been impressed like I was tonight in years and the good company I had with me agreed .... Definitely coming back soon..... And can't wait

This is one of Tampa's best restaurants by far. The atmosphere is amazing with live music. Beautiful bar and seating. Looks like a very high end restaurant but prices do not reflect it. Drinks are reasonable and excellent. The food really stands out here. Everything we tried was amazing. I have paid way more for lesser food. Will definitely become one of my go to hang outs. Great for a night out with friends or treating that special someone for a great night out.

I wish I could add stars for each category. I’ve been here a lot and have never written a review but I’m going to this time. Went here for my birthday. Food was 5 out of 5 so so delicious, that is why I keep coming back!!! Only thing I have to say is each and every time I come here the service is not good. If the food wasn’t so good I would not come back cause of the lousy service. With this visit especially the food took forever to come.

3rd time eating here and another great experience. Attentive waitress, great food and definitely reasonable prices compared to other restaurants. Portions aren't huge but large enough to be full at the end, but not large to the point where you have to take leftover home. Restaurant is clean and comfortable seating. Very relaxed atmosphere with live music on weekends. Can't wait to go again.

Absolutely love this place. The decor is lovely and just my style. The chairs are very plush and comfortable. They have great musical entertainment that sets the mood. It reminds me more of a supper club. Bar is always full. Food is excellent. I have never had a meal that wasn’t delicious and the service is absolutely wonderful. My favorite restaurant.

As a first time dinner, I found the noise level EXTREMELY high. I couldn't hear the host as I entered and she couldn't hear me. I literally had to talk into her ear. Great singer, good music, but bad placement maybe? It was directly behind the hostess station. The food was why I came and boy was it an experience! Let me start with the negative. There was no kind of complementary bread/cheese/snack brought to the table at any point which is unlike most places I've dined at. Now on to the positive.........I love the inventiveness of the Honey Goat Cheese Baklava! For sure unlike any Baklava I've ever had but definitely one I'm coming back for! The Sacred Pepper House salad was fresh, zesty, sweet, and salty with arrangement of Romain/Radicchio/cucumber/tomatoes/olives/ and the white balsamic dressing. I savored the Crab and Lobster Rotolo. Perfectly cooked tender pasta sheet wrapped around a well seasoned medley of crab and lobster. Then it's topped with additional crab and lobster and surrounded by this creamy buttery sauce. Every bite was a new addiction. I couldn't have eaten another bite, but the Pumpkin S'mores Cheesecake called me. I am a fan of holiday flavors and this cheesecake hit them all! While not a fan of gram cracker crust, this played well into the S'mores aspect. A light and airy Pumpkin cheesecake in a gram crust topped with toasted marshmallow fluff (site made, not mass produced) sitting on top of a bit of chocolate sauce. Great way to end the meal. Not too sweet, not too heavy.

Other restaurants serve food, sacred pepper gives you an experience bar none. Spot on Craft drinks and outstanding food and menu selection. Our server Danielle went above and beyond to be sure that everything for us was perfect. Thank you Danielle for everything. My wife and I were there for New Year's Eve and had such a awesome evening. I loved it! Our waitress was named Jess I believe and she did an amazing job so props to her! The food was amazing! If you're looking for something you can barely finish but it's just so good you finish it, I'd recommend their Chicken Parm, it was amazing tonight! This place always looks amazing every time I come here, it's so pretty to see at night from the outside too! 10/10 Would recommend coming here for a good night out!

Been here over 10 times now and it continues to blow my mind each and every time. Best priced drinks and food for a 4+Star Restaurant and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. It’s perfect for a date night! Oysters Rockefeller are the best in Tampa! The menu features delicious steaks, fresh seafood, pastas, and vegetarian dishes. The live music is always my favorite part. You have to go on a Friday and hear Allen play!

The food was very good. No complaints about the taste of anything. The service was also very good. My only issue was I didn’t like the atmosphere. The restaurant was too dark (like a bar). The seating was extremely tight, to the point it was difficult to have a conversation without feeling like there was an eavesdropping situation, not to mention the music was loud on top of that. I won’t go back again, but I also wouldn’t tell people not to visit because the food and service were good.

Excellent from beginning to end! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular! Ashley was an incredible waitress and very helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely won’t be the last time here….very extensive menu and options and even for those who want the gluten free options (not us) but it was clearly marked on the menu. We arrived at 5:30, and the bar was full so we asked for a table in the main dining room. There were a couple of tables occupied by small groups of loudly-talking women. The hostess insisted on seating us beside these groups instead of a quiet table for two elsewhere. We were getting ready to leave and go to another restaurant when after three seat changes, we finally had a quiet table for two. This ruined the experience for us. The food was good, and our server was excellent, but I don't think the effort is worth it.

Nice date night vibe. Fresh ingredients and tasty food with nice portion sizes. Ambiance has an artsy feel. Live band was an added bonus but it was loud so it made it hard to talk across the table to each other. It was worth it though!

Great little find in Carolwood! We really enjoyed our date night. We had calamari for starters which was light and really good. I had the Sea Bass which was great and my husband had the pork chop which was just ok. The drinks were delicious. Our server was wonderful! We really liked the decor and atmosphere too. The bar area is really big and a perfect meet up place. Only thing that was a little off was that the live music was very loud, I hate when you have to yell to have a conversation, other than that it was a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.

We went here for our anniversary last night and could not have asked for a better experience. Not only did we show up 20 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately but the food and drinks came out so fast the entire night. We ordered lobster stuffed shrimp and steak bites for appetizers which were both amazing! Then for dinner we got chicken carbonara and mahimahi with lobster and shrimp Which were both absolutely superb. We finished it with the best dessert I have ever had which was their very berry shortcake and then because we were there for our anniversary we received a complimentary dessert that we had to take home but have since tried and it is amazing as well. We are already planning our next date night for this restaurant. There was also a piano man that played everything from Post Malone to Garth Brooks which really made the environment fun! A lot of people in reviews complained about how loud it was but I personally enjoyed it!

Great Experience! Firstly, the atmosphere in this place was a pleasant surprise. You get a flavor (pun intended) of downtown Tampa and even Miami in the ambiance. Aquatic, Under-da-Sea type theme, although it isn't per sei a seafood restaurant (exclusively). Made me feel welcome and excited to be there, like I was about to experience a good evening. It also was very reasonably priced. Get downtown feel and food but not full downtown prices. That's a plus. Drinks: I ordered the Raspberry Rambler. I asked for something sweet and fruitful. She recommended this. I found it neither sweet not fruity. Entree: I ordered the Bison Steak with their grier mac n cheese. The steak was prepared correctly (med rare) and the sauce was delicious. The Mac n cheese however was NOT impressive. My friend also ordered the same meal, and he also thought the MnC was unimpressive, lacking flavor. It's a $3 upcharge also, so not worth it. To my joy, they happily removed that upcharge and bright me their mashed potatoes, which WERE very tasty. My steak cut did have a little too much grizzle (meaning that hard fat that you wouldn't enjoy eating), so I do wish that were less so. Appetizers: The Tuna Tar Tar was Delicious, and honestly you get a decent portion. Needed more of those chip things, but very very good. Even their table bread was delicious, including the pretzels bread with a roasted tomato oil dip. Also ordered their baked brie. Awesome!!! Very very tasty and, for being fried, didn't bother my constitution like when I eat fried chicken, so whatever they do, it works! Dessert: I ordered the DIY Sundae. This is marketed as home made ice cream. Chocolate, vanilla and done other flavor (3 scoops), with candied pecans and chocolate and caramel sauces. Very delicious. Overall, Absolutely worth visiting. Great atmosphere. Great menu selection. Great apps. Great dessert. Get Some! 100%!

Haven't been since before Covid. It was a treat to go back and experience again. Started with the Virgin Local Passion drink which was a delight to the taste buds. Ordered the Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower and they truly did not disappoint when it came to spice and flavor. Just the right balance - not too much heat so you could appreciate the flavor of the cauliflower. Surprisingly, the Pan Seared Grouper Picatta was not as good as I remembered. The grouper was a bit bland. I asked for more lemon butter; it helped a little but not a lot. I ended up eating a piece of my husband's Oak Grilled Norwegian Salmon which was quite delicious. I wished I would've ordered that instead. The server was par excellence. Great personality! She was lively and friendly! Made sure to keep in communication about our order. I asked her name but bummed I don't remember it. She was blonde, about average height. If that even helps. All in all, great place for many occasions! It was date night for hubby and I. Tunes were played on the piano with live singing and nice instrumental music in between performances. I recommend you try it out!

Great service, great food, and great drinks. I highly recommend a reservation as it fills up pretty quick at dinner time l. Had the special red snapper and it was perfect. Husband had 5je short rib cavatelli and said it was fantastic. Blackberry Bramble cocktail has a nice bourbon kick at front and finishes with the blackberry. The Smoked old fashioned reminds me of the old fashioned at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at Disney Springs, but offers something a little more smokey at the finish. I highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

This place has decent Italian food, but the prices and buzz about the place suggested a more amazing experience. Nothing stood out about the dishes we ordered vs any other family owned Italian restaurant in town. It was a bit of a let down if I'm being honest. Or maybe there are particular menu items that stand out more than the basic chicken Parm, raviolis, etc.

Absolutely LOVED this place!! Excellence seems to be an every day occurrence here. I went with my ex- mother in law and her sister. Yeah they're still family to me. Great calamari stays crisp until the end and theirs is fantastic. Way to go Chef! Also loved the brie appetizer and the House and Sacred Pepper salads. We had Crab topped halibut, Grouper picata with asparagus and a lobster thermidor pasta. Overall a great balance of flavors on each dish and we took home some of our dinner so we could have dessert!!! Try the creme brulee, you won't be sorry. It wouldn't be right If we didn't give a shout out to Leah, our server. Top shelf service and seamless assistance from the management and food runners. We'll be back Sacred Pepper!!

First though from looking at the menu was excited. The food options were great and the specialty cocktails looked delicious. Walking in, you get an amazing look at the decor with all these blue ambiance lights. They had a live cover singer/piano player. We were seated in the general dining space and they were busy on a Friday night which was great. Server greeted us quickly and was extremely friendly. We ordered a Aloha martini and Blueberry Collins with the meatballs and the crab cakes. When I say the best, I mean these crab cakes were the absolute best we have ever had. The meatballs were like butter. We then ordered the Tall & Sexy and the Sicilian Sunburst. Then for dinner we had the Hawaiian Delmonico and the Short Rib Cavatelli with Reggiano Cheese Fries. The soy with the sweetness of the pineapple infused perfectly with that Delmonico steak. The short rib fell apart it was so tender. Great dishes. This place has it all and is a must try!

My wife and I shared the fried cauliflower and crabmeat corn chowder for appetizers. They were both delicious. For our dinners my wife had the cavatelli with short ribs, and I had the tagliatelli with grilled chicken in a white wine sauce. Once again both dishes were outstanding. In addition to the food, our server Alexa, was fantastic. She was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. This was okay. Things to know before you go, there is live music which is loud. The space is small, reservations needed, unless you can grab a table or seat in the bar. Not especially kid friendly, food is ok, on par with Grillsmith. Service was ok. Also, I stepped on a blue plastic cap on the floor and tripped and fell. No one even apologized. As a business open to the public you have a duty to keep your floors clear of hazards.

Everything we ordered was delicious! The tuna appetizer is served with a nontraditional chip and it complimented the tuna so well. Their pasta is made from scratch and you can really taste the difference. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was probably the best bread pudding I've ever had. Very classy and upscale spot for a first visit. The reasons I did not give 5 stars are because we went on a "Sacred Sunday". We arrived there at 6:05pm. Our reservations were for 6:30 pm yet we were not seated until after 7pm (after multiple inquiries to the hostess). I must admit they were very busy/crowded. I even heard the bartenders discussing there were over 300 reservations for this Sacred Sunday (dated 2/16/20). Last fast forward to the fact that our dinner would have also been terrific IF the chicken breast wasn't rubbery! You could barely cut that thing with the Amazing set of dinner utensils provided. We plan to try Sacred Pepper out again because it is an Awesome and very unique place... perhaps on a different day of the week?⁹

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. Firstly, this place has loud music and is pretty loud if that's what you're looking for. Kinda has a club/lounge vibe. Secondly, the food. We ordered: Crispy buffalo cauliflower - pretty good, not very crispy. The dipping sauce was tasty. Fried pistachio crusted brie - this was great. It's hard to mess up brie. Short rib cavatelli - the short rib in this was sour and tasted like a mildewy rag. We sent it back. Not sure what happened here. Chicken penne carbonara - standard dish, not bad. Nothing to write home about. Grilled pork chop - this had pear bits throughout to make the dish a little sweet. This was good. Gruyere Mac and cheese - very little cheese. More like Mac and butter. Service was a little slow, but overall not bad.

I’ve been to Sacred Pepper more than 10 times, and this is the first time I post a review. I get my favorite appetizer every time: the Baked Lobster Stuffed Shrimp. Tried the calamari last night and they were really good as well. Cocktails are delicious! I’ve also tried the swordfish, salmon, penne chicken carbonara, deluxe mixed grill, and they are all fresh and very tasty. I tried the Hawaiian Delmonico last night, and I liked it but, I wasn’t that impressed as I expected mainly because I’ve eaten fresher cuts somewhere else. It was good, though not as good as the other entrees I’ve had before. Vegetables are so fresh, my faves are asparagus, Brussel sprouts and mixed veggies. I would give a 5 but a 4 is more accurate because of the ribeye. Also, even making reservations you have to wait a good 20-25 minutes after your time.

We’re so glad we decided to check this place out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The decor is so cool and perfect for a romantic dinner. Our waitress Jessica was the best. She immediately acknowledged our anniversary and at the end the restaurant treated us with a warm chocolate cake on the house. It was delicious! Great selection of cocktails as well. The shishito peppers are a must to try, amongst many other appetizers. The cuisine is so creative and beautifully presented. It was good but not amazing. We went for our anniversary. Steak was great, sides were underwhelming. The vegetables literally had no flavor or anything on them. For the prices the expectation was that it would all be good. Drinks were also good but not great. One drink I didn't even finish which is not characteristic. Atmosphere is awesome and chairs were super comfy. We went on a Saturday night and it was very loud so I wouldn't say to go for a romantic dinner. Service staff was awesome. So overall good but not great.

We arrived for our reservations with friends. We were seated and the space was small. We moved to a larger table, we explained to the waitress Barbara why we moved and she said we didn't have to lie, they would accommodate us. First of all we didn't lie, I held my ☮️ at that moment. The person who invited us had been here before. We ordered appetizer, the waitress brought out cold oysters when the order was hot oysters with spinach and cheese. The waitress seem to be a little agitated but held her composure. It felt like she was rushing us to order. She asked, how was the oysters, they advised her they were good. She didn't ask me how was the veal and pork meatballs, but I told her I didn't like the taste and couldn't eat them. Barbara said she wouldn't charge us for them. I did enjoy the arugula salmon salad. My husband chicken had too much fat and batter, he didn't complain. The steak and mash potatoes were good, so was the trout fish. The waitress seem to be more pleasant towards the end. As we pass the host at the front no one said thanks for come, hope to see you again. It would be interesting to see if we came again and have contact with different people, would we have a different experience. They definitely can improve in customer service.

We love The Sacred Pepper! We've been at least half a dozen times now and it has always been amazing. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. And the food is so fresh and expertly prepared and presented. They even make their own pasta and ice cream. And the prices are affordable for a higher end restaurant. Barb has waited on us before and she is wonderful. And last night we had Andrew and Paige and their service was spot on. We were in a small group, so we took a while to relax with our drinks before ordering our food, and Andrew and Paige let us take our time and really have a great pace to our dining experience. I had the Golden Tilefish special which was fabulous and my wife had the Ahi Bowl (photos included) which she loved. They are also offering a dinner for 2 menu option now which is a great value. And the house Cabernet was amazing and only $6 on happy hour. We can't wait to go back!

One of north Tampa's top notch restaurants. Mostly everything is made in house such as their pasta and their famous meatballs. Reservations is recommended. Drinks and food are amazing. Couple of appetizers to try would be the meatballs and tuna tar tar. The pizzettes are great, I would recommend the prosciutto mushrooms pizzette. Everything is made in house down to the desserts. Definitely get the Brussel sprouts as a side, even if you hate Brussel sprouts, just get it to try because it will change your mind. Edit 2/10: still one of the top restaurants in tampa now, great vibe, great food and atmosphere

I will start by saying the food was delicious and the drinks were strong which had our party feeling pretty good. The reason for not giving more stars is that when seated to dine the fabric cloth dining chair was soaking wet and luckily I looked down at the chair before seating myself to have them give me a dry chair. In addition, all of the fabric cloth dining chairs were extremely stained. Furthermore, although it was nice to have live music in the lounge which created a fun atmosphere the music was far too loud even in the separate dining room and we all had to practically shout to each other during our dinner conversation.

One if the best additions to the Land O Lakes area! We sat in the lounge type area. A little dark but enjoyable. The chairs were the most comfortable I think I have sat in. The menu was a wonderful variety of American Italian with seafood choices and in house made pasta. We tried several of the appetizers including the tempura peppers dipped in soy....above the scale...so delicious. I had the sword fish for dinner and opted to substitute my rice asparagus side for some kn hiise made pasta. It was so delicious and tender. The bread is also in house made and melts in your mouth. The cocktails we had were very unique and very delicious including the espresso martini to cap it off! Don't get me wrong, the prices are $$$$, but more than worth it. Land o Lakes needs more quality restaurants like this!

Ambiance was grown and sexy. Food was top tier. I had oysters Rockefeller for the app. Very delicious. The crab cakes were good but desperately needed a sauce. Still good though. My meal was salmon and caramelized brussel sprouts. Amazing! Oh and a young man paid for my whole table's tab because it was someone's birthday. Crazy good experience.

Always a perfect experience at The Sacred Pepper! They nailed every little detail from floor to ceiling, especially, the food. Frequent specials allow you to branch out and try new things but you really can't go wrong with whatever you order. Great portion sizes, impeccable presentation, out of this world flavor, and a beautiful atmosphere. The staff are always perfect and super attentive. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert and their homemade ice cream; just wow. The picture below is their amazing creme brulee bread pudding.

Wow! What a Saturday night dinner. We made reservations at 5:30 and arrived 10 minutes early and were promptly and friendly seated. We were greeted by the most friendly and service oriented wait person named Sydney who took special and fabulous care of us from start to finish. They were very accommodating on a busy Sunday. Nice vibe/atmosphere. Greeters were very friendly. Server was good but not great. I ordered the grilled pork chop and it was pretty good. Most of my friends liked what they ordered. Two of them ordered the filet mignon and thought it was one of the best they've had. One liked the shrimp linguine and one didn't. The Angus burger was a nice size, it should fill you up. We were expecting live music but I guess that wasn't one of the nights for that. They give a nice little desert on the house for birthdays.

The only reason this place is receiving 3 stars is because it's one of the most beautiful restaurants with some of the most friendly and knowledgeable staff. However, instead of putting millions of dollars into your looks they should have hired a better chef. I ordered Rockefeller oysters and it was literally deep fried oysters(with no shell) sitting on top of spinach dip with a few pieces of bacon broken apart on top. The next dish was beef tips which were over-salted and when we brought it to the waiter's attention he said yeah we get that a lot. ?!? If you are not a huge foodie like myself this place will impress anyone and would be great for dates or anniversaries. Again, very beautiful restaurant.

I've been coming to Sacred Pepper since it opened and I think 3.5 - 4 stars (not my original 5) is a fairer representation of the overall experience. The food is always good, but rarely great, and even when you find a great dish once, it's rarely as enjoyable on a subsequent visit. Dining room servers are generally attentive, but if you're sitting at a bar table, things can go a little sideways. I understand the area around the bar can get busy and crowded, but having dirty glasses and plates pile up is a real pet peeve of mine, and it seems to happen in the bar area often. Given the lack of higher end choices in the area, Sacred Pepper is still a keeper, but it wouldn't take much for a competitor to come along and outshine them.

Absolutely remarkable! I drive by this place every night on my way home from work and finally stopped in last week to try it. Boy am I glad I did! I sat at the bar and was taken care of by two very nice ladies, Nikki & Kaitlind. The menu has an excellent variety and ALL of their pasta is made from scratch! I got the Baked Rigatoni Bolognese and it was phenomenal. The bread before your meal is also very good and served with some sort of tomato pesto that is exceptional. Overall a very pleasant experience and not too hard on the wallet. An excellent spot for a casual business dinner or date.

We made a reservation for 3, when we arrived the hostess said it was for 2 (not correct). Nice dining room off to the right of the entrance door. Appetizers are fairly pricey for the portion received - the lobster stuffed shrimp was more like a piece of shrimp with a small crabcake on top of it, but the sauce was amazing. Both veal dishes were amazing. My Dad liked his filet but said the mashed potatoes were marginal. Desserts were excellent. Nice place for special occasions.

We had my mother-in-laws 80th Birthday party in the private dining room on Saturday July 21st 2018 (45 people)~ and it was a huge success! Jessica, SP Private dinning manager was spot-on making sure everything went smoothly and helping me with the decision making as we went. From the abundant amount of scrumptious appetizers, the delicious salad, the "best filet I've ever had" (told to me by at least 5 guests) to the finish~paying the bill which is usually a shock but not at Sacred Pepper-the experience was perfect and flawlessly executed. A Nordstrum standard was achieved. AND I have thrown many large parties at several Tampa Restaurants, my home, my husbands business and truly this will go down as the easiest, BEST food, greatest service ( Shawn was awesome, so were the other's but I only got Shawn's name) I've had. I have attached our menu, where you can see we were allowed so many options in order to please everyone, including a vegetarian dish. They have an unparalleled policy and the cost was significantly less than anticipated! I would highly recommend Sacred Pepper as THE place for a romantic dinner or a private party as you will find the service is unrivaled and the food Fantastic! Thank you all for making Yvonne's 80th so special~It was just Perfect! We WILL Be Back Soon--I want to try the short-rib :)

I really enjoyed our dinner, the food was delicious, great presentation and the timing of dishes to table was perfect. I loved the comfy chairs at our table too. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the volume of the live music, it made it difficult to hear each other even though we were seating away from the music. Perhaps others enjoy that; it was a Sunday night at 7pm so I get it, but I think the music could still be enjoyed with just a little softer volume. We’ll definitely go back again but maybe earlier before the night life & loud music.

The friendly attentiveness and super quick speed of the servers make it all good. Note:. Not a good fit for children, the staff is moving very quickly to take orders & Deliver drinks and food. We could hear the live music from the bar, very nice addition, but would be better for diners at a lower volume, made conversation a little difficult. Mostly young professionals and adult family, upscale and very pleasant experience.

I guess with how fancy the place was and how much the food cost I figured they'd pay a little extra for the p&d shrimp w/o the tails. Overall it was a good experience though.

The cuisine is American standard fare and they do it exceptionally well. The décor and ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing. It has an upscale feel without the pomp and circumstance, feels cozy, warm and inviting. There bar area has a huge amount of bar top seating so the odds of getting a seat up at the bar top are pretty good. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan (two large filets) served with fresh pasta and the I found the pricing to be reasonable ($22.50). Our party size was 18 and everybody enjoyed their entrées. Service was attentive, courteous helpful and very friendly.

I LOVE THE SACRED PEPPER. The food, the service, the decor, and the extra attention to ALMOST every detail! Here is why I rated only 4 stars for such an extraordinary place. We arrived at 7:45. We had an amazing server (young bald male, can't remember his name). We enjoyed well prepared cocktails, a yummy generous appetizer (fried brie), absolutely delicious meals (so good that nobody had leftovers! ). We decided to order a dessert to share and we weren't disappointed with the enormous and to die for apple crisp! Wow! The only problem was that the musician continuously raised the volume with every song he played to the point that we could no longer hear each other and we had to literally yell to each other and we had to resort to hand signals and lip reading to communicate with our server! It was so loud during the dinner hour that it became stressful. We considered not ordering dessert just so we could get out of there, but we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to have dessert and have a candle blow out situation. Lol This situation with the extremely loud music only happens on Friday and Saturday nights. My recommendation if you make reservations on those nights is to make them far in advance in order to request a table far away from the musician. It was so ridiculous that my family has been makingand exchanging funny meme's out of the pictures we took that night! One of the captions... Whenv is so f@**ING LOUD at the Sacred Pepper! Lol I would understand if the music was turned up after the dinner hours on the weekend, but we were there from 745 until 945. I still recommend a visit... maybe on the weekend or with my above recommendation.

Must go. Fantastic food. Beautiful restaurant (surprising bc it's in an old plaza). Fresh, homemade, old school Italian with a dash of new flavors here and there. Great Italian gravy/marinara, pasta made in-house was delicious, and we really appreciated the varied menu. One concern: privacy/audio issues. I agree with other reviewers - seating was tight so we couldn't have a private conversation and the live music was a great touch except that it was LOUD. Pricing was reasonable for the fantastic food btw: glass of wine, two apps, 2 dinners, 2 desserts, 120 bucks. Great night! Will go again.

Great service, cool decor, and unique atmosphere. Friday night had a musician playing a great selection of danceable tunes to get the crowd going. Non typical restaurant feel on the weekends. Almost felt like a wedding was going on, which was a nice departure from the norm. Food was good, not great. Good menu selections. I think the food just fell a little short of the hype. Let me first start off with saying, I NEVER write reviews. But Sacred Pepper made that big of an impression on not only myself but my boyfriend too. From the quick service, to the amazing taste of each item of food we got, to the pleasant service and teamwork we saw amongst the staff... it was incredible! Their pasta.. made from SCRATCH... their warm apple crisp... made from SCRATCH (and by the far the best Apple crisp dessert we’ we ever had) ... their ice cream, whipped cream, and vanilla shortcake... you got it, all from scratch!! We ordered so much food, two appetizers, two entrees with an extra side, plus two desserts on top of three bar drinks...we were expecting to spend a pretty penny and we were so wrong. When we got the bill we were in utter disbelief by the fact our food and experience was THAT good and only totaled 145. We need the owner to spread this restaurant far and wide, because we would be regulars if it were closer to our home in Fort Myers. If you’re looking for amazing food, romantic night, and great service come here!! Thanks Sacred Pepper, and thank you Sean for taking such awesome care of us.

This was our first time going. Was looking for a romantic date night out with my wife. The food was excellent as was the wait staff. The singer they had there had a beautiful voice however the volume was so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation or hear the waitress. This took away from our experience unfortunately. Perhaps we go back, but it will most certainly be on a night more suitable for normal dinner and conversation.

I always like to try a place a couple times before I leave a review. This was my wife and i’s third time going to SP and the food and service has gotten surprisingly better every time. We were in a 6 party group for the Saturday before V- day and our waitress was fast, attentive, and extememely nice. I ordered the Hawaiian Delmonico medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced and the Brussels sprouts are my favorite side on the menu. All of us at the table were so happy with our experience and they all vowed to go back. For the price, this has to be the best bargain in Tampa.

The food was very good, my waitress Emory was amazing. We had a 4 pm reservation when it opened. We enjoyed our meal until others were seated. The issue is they are not practicing social distancing at all. And after telling the manager they gave some sorry excuse of how they are seating for the waiters . I had to take my desert to go. My children and I had to put our mask back on at the table because every table around us was seated with people within 2ft, even though the restaurant was not busy or full. They are not operating at 50% capacity. If they are they don’t seem to understand the 6 ft distance. If you care about your health and safety, avoid this restaurant until the pandemic is over.

Tables are spaced too close together. It's impossible to have a private conversation with your dining partner or without overhearing and having to talk over the table guests sitting right next to you. The loud music doesn't make it any easier to have a conversation either. The service was spotty as well. The service is usually very good but our last experience there it was extremely slow and inconsistent. It took almost 20 mins after we finished out appetizer and drinks before entrée came out. Not sure if I can blame the server for this as he had a table of 10 he was serving as well. He could have used some help to keep service flowing in a timely manner. Food was very good as usual but if you're concerned about being in close proximity to other diners or you would just like an intimate dinner with easy conversation, this might not be the place for you on a busy night.

This place is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, food, cocktails and entertainment was perfect. Great place for date night or a simple girls night out. Tony was our waitor and he was very attentive and super friendly. Everything he recommended from food, drinks and the deserts were on point. I will defiantly be dining here again in the near future.

I was super excited to try this place because I've been in Tampa for years and have always been told I need to try it. I was so disappointed. The rest of the people that are mentioning the loud music are absolutely correct. I could talk to the person sitting right next to me and that was it. We couldn't have a conversation as a table because we couldn't hear each other. I also did not like anything I had, except for the creme brule. Our appetizer was bland, I got the side mac n chese and couldn't wait to try it and then was bland too. I took 2 bites and was done. For dinner I got the chicken parm and disliked that too -- the chicken was hard and my pasta was undercooked. We all agreed that the app and mac n cheese were subpar but everyone else really liked their meals so that's why I gave 3 stars.

Instead of atmosphere ...it was like a live performance. People at the bar liked it...but it was not good for any conversation at dinner. This place has a very good burger. Just don't try to change anything. It might not turn out as good. The service was on point. Had to wait a little too long for the check but overall it was a good experience. UPDATE 1/11/2019: I had to raise this to 5 stars after attending a wine pairing dinner the other night. It really was fabulous, both food and wine. The presenter was laid back and knowledgeable. The only downer was that some of the other guests were just too noisy, practically yelling, a bit rude to the host - but that is of course not the fault of the restaurant. I look forward to going again (and just hope those people don't attend)!

Every time we have been here, the experience has been spectacular. Any place that can give me shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, seabass for the main course with sides of roasted brussel sprouts & smashed cauliflower and then cheese cake for dessert is top shelf! I’ve now been here about 6 times in the past 2 months. The food is amazing! I especially like the family meals for takeout. It’s a great way to enjoy excellent food on a regular night. The last 2 times we had the Margherita pizza appetizer, the Sacred Pepper House Salad, Penne Carbonara, and the Chicken Buratta. Everything was so good, I went back and ordered it again less than a week later. The only thing I didn’t like was the salad dressing, but that was on the side, so it was no problem. The pasta was incredible and the chicken... I could recommend this restaurant all day! Enjoy!

I have been here 7 times and everything is absolutely amazing every time. We were seated immediately, visited by our server right away and selected the meatballs as our appetizer which arrived in 3 to 4 minutes along with drinks. Our food arrived soon after and everything was as ordered and delicious. The server was very helpful and attentive and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean.

My friends and I had been wanting to go for quite some time and were really looking forward to this. The waitress suggested the old fashion because of the cedar taste but the person that got it didn’t like it and that’s his favorite drink. They’re cucumber cocktail was amazing though... I got 2! The food here is great and it was our second time here. This time we sat at the bar and ordered a couple of rounds of apps and drinks. The reason I am giving them a 3 is because the bar service was mediocre. We had to flag them down everytime we wanted a drink or to order more food. They had 4 bartenders on and they had no sense of urgency or engagement. I would of hoped it would be better after dropping $160 for the 2 of us.

Great atmosphere and very classy. The menu is more on the expensive side, but that’s because it’s really good quality food. The live band is great. I would recommend getting a full meal including appetizers, main course, dessert and drinks. That way you get the full experience. Went here for Mother's day. Mothers got a nice White rose as well which was a nice touch. All of our meals were great. from the apps (Baked Brie, Steak Tips and lightly breaded peppers), to the entrees (Hawaiian Delmonico, Penne Carbonara, and Swordfish). Everything was delicious. the "Fountain of youth and midnight Martini were out of bounds good as well as the Apple crisp and Creme Brulee Bread pudding. Always love coming to Sacred Pepper. It never disappoints.

Amazing food! We had a large party and that created some confusion when it came time to pay because we had a lot of split checks. We also had some issues with a few dishes being prepared correctly but again we were a party of 13 so I'll understand a few hiccups. The atmosphere was really nice, very comfortable setting. We liked the atmosphere and the entertainment. The guy playing piano was talented and created a relaxed atmosphere. It's upscale yet comfortable. Hubby's steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes delicious. The beef tip appetizers we're also very good. We liked the topping on the brie appetizer too. My cauliflower steak wasn't great. It needed more flavor, but the quinoa was tasty with pieces of dried fruit. The deconstructed shortcake was the yummiest. The butter cake and homemade ice cream with berries is worth the calories. Our friend was pleasantly surprised by the French press coffee served with a small biscotti bite. He also had the Asian bowl and was very happy with the flavors. It was very large and he went home with plenty left over for another meal. The service is phenomenal and our waiter, Dominic, did a great job. It's worth the extra bucks you'll pay for a great meal.

I had my first and last visit a few days ago. I went with a group of 8, and we averaged about $80 per person. The food was good (do yourself a favor and skip the calamari), but it wasn't great. The service was decent: 2 of our checks were wrong; I waited 20 minutes for a margarita, only to have the margarita come out simultaneously with the next drink I ordered (since I assumed that they had forgotten about the margarita); 3 of us had to ask for flatware; only a few of us received bev napkins; and one person's entree came out 15 minutes after the other 7. When I'm driving that far north (and passing other nice restaurants along the way) and paying that much money, I want better service. The decor is gorgeous, and it's easily the best thing about the whole place.

Sacred Pepper has an varied menu. Steak, seafood, pork, Asian bowls and pasta. Sometimes a restaurant needs to focus, my wife's meal (lobster and crab crepes) were delicious. My Fra diavlo was not as spiced as I prefer, but good. Apple Crisp was great. We will return. It was worth a second visit.

I had a gift certificate for Sacred Pepper and didn't know what to expect. Turns out I love it. The atmosphere is upscale and beautiful, but not off-putting. The drinks delightful. This was our first time at the Sacred Pepper and it was AMAZING! I booked a reservation on Open Table and was promptly seated upon arrival. Dominic was extremely attentive and recommended dishes after he found out we had never dined there before. I had the Tall & Sexy (drink pictured) and while it was not one of my favorite flavor a, it was expertly crafted. We had the calamari appetizer and it is hands down the best, freshest we've had. The aioli is *chef's kiss* Did I mention bread? Two fresh ciabatta rolls and a pretzel roll were served with a roasted tomato sauce (I want to say aoli?) The pretzel roll was my choice and my fiance devoured the others rather fast. I had a halibut special served over mashed potatoes and asparagus. The halibut was topped with a crab and shrimp mix. The halibut was lacking in flavor, however, the toppings and sides were exemplary. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Thank you Dominic and the Sacred Pepper staff for an amazing early Valentine's Day dinner. We appreciate you!

Sacred Pepper is one of the nicer restaurant establishments in the Northdale/Carrollwood area. I love the ambiance. The bar area is very nice and classy. The food is good, but they are proud of it and some of the prices are high for what you receive. This last time that I went my steak was not cooked to order and it had to be sent back. The waiter however was great about being on top of it, apologized, and a new steak and side was presented quickly and it was done perfectly.

This place is awesome! Tony our waiter was amazing! Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere was amazing! Calamari was hands down best ever, swordfish and chicken parm was absolutely delicious! We will be back!!! Highly recommended.

Great selection of cocktails both drinks I tried were great smokey old fashioned and the blackberry bramble. Ordered the filet as a main and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious.

If you want to impress your date, take them here. This restraunt's decor is simply breathtaking. I can not believe the amount of money they have put into building this place! I also really enjoyed the live music when we went. Drinks and appetizers are on point. My only complaint is my entree was a little lackluster compared to everything else we had before it. Although my fiancee said his entree was fantastic, it was the lobster manicotti dish??. I honestly can just eat their apps and house salad to be happy. The house dressing has this amazing coconut flavor to it. It can get kinda pricey, so we only go on special occasions. I recommend dressing up if your going here. I would have been so out of place had I worn a pair of blue jeans.

Pretty loud on a Friday night if you're in the bar area, however the live music was very good. It's reservations only on Friday and Saturday so if you just drop in your only coffee is the bar area and they high top tables. It's worth it however, the food is fantastic. They make everything from scratch and the steaks are hand cut and delicious. I had the grouper and my wife had the steak bowl which left me with a bit of food envy at the end of the night. If you've got the money to blow on an expensive dinner, go get dressed up and call in a reservation. It's worth it at least once or twice.

The atmosphere was very inviting. For all ages with classy taste. The food was very appetizing and perfect to my liking. I was quite disappointed in the service tho. I'm a black Jamaican and my dates were a caucasian couple. The server kept looking at the couple & never looked at me until the couple kept asking me to go ahead first. Even until then, I was somewhat disregarded & her demeanor was not quite....uhmm...warm, nicely putting it. Yes, the server was also caucasian....but guess who was paying. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed in that part of my experience. Other than that harsh reality, it was very nice.

The food here is ALWAYS amazing. The atmosphere is really good for a date night or a night out with the girls. Cool vibe and awesome interior decor. The service is a 4 out of 5. An all around great place to eat.

Incredible food! With everything made in house you can definitely taste the difference! We came for our 9th anniversary and want to tell you that with this friendly, prompt staff and a wide selection of gluten-free menu items, this is a great upper-class restaurant to visit. The interior is beautifully designed and the bar area is very stimulating. In fact the bathrooms are also unique each stall has its own full door so you have complete privacy. We'll be back!

Not a daily dinner, this place averages 20/30$ a person. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and gives a nice vibe. The cocktail menu is pretty good and fairly basic. The menu has a little bit of everything, I tried a burger and it was pretty good but nothing special. They did have a really good spicy ketchup served with the fries.

Walking in, you're instantly taken aback by the vibrant blues and the crystal chandelier. The atmosphere feels upscale and electric, not one person wearing shorts in sight. The staff were casually dressed, yet they were respectful and courteous. The menu prices were a touch above typical restaurant chains but nothing absurd. The service was great and prompt. The only criticism I have is of the filet mignon - it felt a bit lacking in flavor and didn't live up to my expectations. Besides that, the drinks and appetizers were great along with the dessert (I recommend the Killer chocolate cake for any chocolate lover, very rich in flavor). Overall I had an enjoyable experience and really loved the decor.

Had a very good meal including appetizers and drinks. Everything was nice. Sat in bar area at a hightop table. Very fancy looking modern interior and lighting. They have a nice meeting room for private events up to 50 people available. The meatball appetizer was very good as was the house salad with cocunut vinaigrette.

This is a tale of two reviews in one; one for the restaurant and one for the bar. The restaurant is very beautiful, nicely decored with exceptional service. My dinner mates e all shared Sacred Meatballs and Calamari Fritte as appetizers, and they were tasty and of sizeable quantity. The various dinners ordered included Seared Chilean Sea Bass, Sacred Pepper Ravioli, and the Penne Chicken Carbonara, which were all enjoyed. I ordered the Tenderloin Steak Bowl which I didn't particularly like. I think there were only about 6 pieces of steak which tasted fine, but more would have been better. I found the jasmine rice a little over powering but in hindsight, this is not the dishes fault, but just my choice. The restaurant is definitely worthy of a repeat visit. Now the bar side. It was jam packed which made it quite hard to grab a drink. Crowd was on the older side but were having a great time, and the live music was really good (I think someone said the singer had been an American Idol contestant). Not a place to go for a quiet drink, but if you're looking for someplace happening, this may work for you.

The decor was top notch. They had live music when we were there and people were up and dancing. The fried brie appetizer was amazing. I had the carbonara, so good. Even the coffee presentation is top notch. I will go back.

Catherine was our server, and she was awesome! It was our first time being there and she recommended things for us to try. The interior is beautiful, the music was perfect, food was great—really interesting and creative take on items. Definitely will be back again.

First, the food was absolutely delicious. Braised short rib pasta, sea bass, crab bisque, watermelon salad. All were outstanding. Server was also very good...not excellent, but very good. I had to take one star off for 2 reasons. 1. It is impossible to have a conversation with your dinner date. This place was LOUD. This was partly because there was a singer in the room adjacent to our dining room (he should have played more like background music and less like he was giving a concert). It was a little better when he took breaks, but still a bit loud. It was also a little weird to have golf on a giant screen TV in our dining room - it was just out of place in a fine-dining restaurant. 2. The tables are packed a bit tight and I had to shimmy into my seat because the person at the next table was too close. I am a petite woman, so I couldn't imagine what the average-sized man would have had to do to get into his seat. Highly recommend the food, but don't expect to be able to have a romantic, or deep and meaningful conversation with all of the noise around you.

Wish they had more vegan options, there is a cauliflower steak but it lacks flavor. They are willing to edit their dishes to fit your dietary needs so the rice bowl was pretty good. Other than that the atmosphere is nice and the oil drizzle for their bread is scrumptious!

We have come to Sacred Pepper for our Birthdays and Anniversary since they opened. We have always given them a five star rating in the past, this time, even though the food was outstanding, the service, while not bad, was not up to Sacred Peppers usual standards. For starters, we had finished our appetizer and were waiting for our meal, when I realized we never received any bread. I asked the waiter why not, and he seemed surprised, and said he’d get it out right away. We actually received it after our entree. In the past we’ve not had to ask for bread and it came out with our drinks. The second disappointment was normally the waiter has always asked us if we were here for a special occasion, and when we told him, we always received a small complimentary dessert. This time the waiter never asked, and when we were done eating, he asked us if we wanted dessert. I was going to say nothing, as I assumed Sacred Pepper had stopped doing that. However my wife asked and the waiter again seemed surprised and provided the complimentary dessert. Again, nothing bad, just not up to the normal standards. I suspect part of the problem is we felt rushed. Every dinner we’ve had there in the past took about 2 hours from sit down until we signed the check. This time dinner lasted 1 hour from the time we were seated until I signed the check. We felt like food was coming out very fast, with no time to talk and relax, which may have affected the service.
