Cute place! I love the outdoor eating area with the tiki bar! The food was really good, I had the seafood casserole and it was filled with fish, shrimp & scallops in a creamy sauce. The yellow rice was the perfect side with this! I added on a salad for $2.99 and it was crisp, good & refreshing. My partner had the all you can eat fried shrimp, which came with fries & coleslaw. He ended up with 3 orders which was well worth the cost!. Waitress was in the ball & friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is busy for a reason! Well worth the wait. Friendly and attentive staff, but the food...wow! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and very well prepared. Much respect to the kitchen staff. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This is probably one of the best kept secrets in Zephyrhills! They had live entertainment when we went , and the service and food were amazing. The outdoor dining experience is very unique and their mix of southern cuisine as well as great make sure and fresh seafood. May the experience a very well worth the travel!

I have dined here several times over the years but tonight I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they expanded the outside seating are and screened it all in so it's bug free. I have enjoyed every meal I have had here so far. Tonight I tried a new dish called the seafood casserole[see picture]. It was light and the seafood was fresh.

Came in over the weekend and had lunch with my family. I ordered a basket with chicken tenders and calamari, my husband got the all-you-can eat crab leg special and his grandparents had coconut shrimp. Everything was really tasty! Lori, our server was pretty timely and very friendly. I’m not from Florida, but I would definitely come back!

The oysters were good. When they had them. Servers were awesome! Other menu items were “ok”. Live entertainment is hot or miss- some very good, others…not so much. Our first visit was so good that we went back a few days later. Second visit was less impressive. Not bad but definitely not as good as we had remembered.

Went in there today on a Saturday noon lunch pit stop on a recommendation from a friend. Got 24, oysters, gator bites, buffalo shrimp and some beers. Great oysters, cold, fresh, nice sizes, good tastes. Gator bits were great, Buffalo shrimp amazing. Great atmosphere, good service and clean restrooms. Definitely coming back.

Had the coconut shrimp and catfish which was delicious and fresh. Our waiter was super sweet and helpful! Took stars off because the greeter offered us to sit in or outside, we chose in but after she offered to seat us right next to the bathroom we asked our waiter to ask if we could sit outside since there was open tables and the waiter said the greeter declined. There was flies inside we had to swat and the table we had to clean off which was a bummer. But overall great food!

I came here with my mom. She loves sea food me not so much. I ordered the jumbo mild chicken wings which were very good they come breaded or none breaded. Very large wings . i also ordered the hush puppies which are amazing and made home made. My mom got fried calamari and mahi mahi she thought they were both good just lacking a little seasoning. We both ordered a hot coffee to drink since it was chilly out . The service was amazing we never waited for anything from being seated to receiving our food . we spend roughly $60 and that included a $12/tip .

A hidden gem in Zephyrhills! Never been there before, but now I wonder why I never heard of it! The outdoor seating interacts with the natural world around and within the space. We were under cover, yet a tree was growing right next to the table. 🌳 Food was delicious. Portions, generous. Prices, reasonable. Service, outstanding! We'll definitely return... I have a list of dishes I'd like to try! 😋

Went here with our grandchildren ages 5 & 3. The kids did great & They loved the food. Chicken tenders for one and linguini for the other. Large kids meals portions and enough fries to share if you have a couple little ones. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy! The portions were large. The grilled fish was tasty. The scallops and clam strips combo were a hint of sweetness and was moist and very good. A huge portion. The service was great. We will be back!

Jessica was really pleasant and attentive. First time I came here and I love it. Drinks are great. I asked Jessica to surprise me with a sour drink and she made the best one ever. Their fish and chips were fantastic and the environment good. Definitely coming back.

Great service. Stacey was very nice, informative and attentive. She suggested the "all you can eat" shrimp meal (special on Monday) and I got both blackened and buffalo style. I liked the blackened the best but both were good. My wife opted for clam strips mixed with fried oysters. She liked the oysters but the clam strips were a little bit over done. Both meals were under $20, beers were about $5 for a pint.

Flavorful and Filling ~ I LOVE the Blackened Mahi Mahi bites basket with Old Bay fries (or opt for green beans) and coleslaw. Jay gets the Boston scrod platter, which has a delicious mild taste and dense flaky texture. They have covered outdoor and patio outdoor seating areas, which flank the stage and the resident parrots. Setting the tone for a toe tapping gathering with friends and family is live music by Andy Heath Music, who is a talented Guitarist/Vocalist showcasing a wide range of tunes from standards to current favorites (and yes, he is my son!) Worth our 2 hour drive to this local hot spot, thanks for your excellent service with a smile Gaskin S and the Great Catch team!

I stopped by here after a trip to Brookeville and was pleasantly surprised just off the road. It's one of these places that don't look like much but so glad you stopped. I had the big platter which included frog legs, catfish, gator bites and hush puppies!! I ordered the fries and coleslaw as my side and it was all delicious (my wife stole my gator bites they were the most tender she’s ever tasted!) My wife had the blackened baza fish with coleslaw and rice in which she was happy with as well. Service was good and nice comfortable atmosphere inside and out.

We had frog legs. Taste like a chicken and a fish had a baby. That's what they say. Love the Grouper. My Husband loves the Full belly clams,,and clam chowder... Our waitress was great-wish I remembered her name. The frozen drink had little flavor. Was there alcohol in it? My soup was good and hot. My entree was not to my liking, but there was nothing wrong with it. It is just personal taste, but the waitress removed it from my bill. I will go back, but sit outside next time.

One had cheeseburger platter, one had haddock, one had calamari and the fourth person had shrimp and haddock. We also ordered onion rings. I am not fond of french fries as they are normally limp and greasy, but not here. Everything was hot, crisp and delicious!! Service was also excellent. This restaurant is about forty minutes away from home and well worth the drive. Our entire party agreed that we will be back often.

We had lunch here with a large group (about 15) divided over 2 tables, each with 1 server. My fried haddock sandwich was excellent, a generous portion cooked perfectly. The roll reminded me of a fresh bakery roll, soft & delicious. Cole slaw was good. I gave only 4 stars because service was sub-par. I asked for no fries but got them anyway which seems to be common here. One person ordered all you can eat catfish and the second helping took over 20 minutes to come out (everyone else was finished & leaving). We'd like to go back with a smaller party and see if service is better.

Fresh raw oysters, and a captains plate. Food was good, a little pricey but good. Awesome wait staff. Margarita was void of alcohol, but bud light was good to finish off the meal. Live entertainment was great and the overhead monitor speakers were amazing.

Excellent choice for Seafood if you find yourself in Zephyrhills, Fl. There was a live singer who was great. Sat in the outside patio. Waitress was nice, not in a hurry. Great food , done right. Mickey was our server. She was attentive and explained the questions we had about the items on the menu with detail. We had shrimp, crab cakes,scallops, clam chowder and assorted cocktails. Well worth the price. ENJOY

Great place for seafood! We got there about 5:15 and outside seating already had a long wait list. Inside still has seating, so the 2 of us got a table right away. I got the blackened shrimp with sweet potato fries & plantain. WOW! Well seasoned and cooked just right. It's served in a pewter dish (the Boston touch) that keeps it warm to the last bite. Plantain & fries were delicious. Hubs got the Fisherman's Platter...the plate was loaded with fried goodness! I don't usually like clam strips, but these were so tender. He said he enjoyed it all & had plenty of leftovers. They had live music when we got there. After it stopped, I think some karaoke started up. Friendly staff & good service!

Had the crab cake sandwich (really only wanted one full-size cake, left the “fixings”) and clam chowder, both of which were good. Took advantage of their Thursday “kids eat free with purchase of entree” deal, which was a great deal for our family. Music and atmosphere were calm, nice evening to eat out on the patio.

Move over Red Lobster! This place was pretty cool! Down home friendly folks serving Delicious food on the outdoor deck with beautiful peach face love birds singing along with the Talented guitar playing from a Kind Gentleman and a Sweet young lady. This was a great place while passing thru to dine. We were skeptical with the 4.2 stars, but glad we took the chance. The oysters were amazing. The hush puppies...yeah..the best I've had in a long time. Entertainment was fun, too. Great crowd and amazing bartender, Stacy.

I would always pass by this restaurant and say it's always busy. I never knew it was a seafood restaurant until I looked it up. On Friday cuz my first time beer and I ordered a fisherman seafood platter. The food was excellent. I had enough food for 3 days but I ended up sharing the food with my daughter and her boyfriend. Food was excellent and the servers were extremely friendly, but the food came out very slowly. We had reservations for 6 pm, but didn't get out of there until after 8. Wouldn't have been a problem, but we had Littles with who were very hungry. Would definitely go back though!

Good experience. Live music and nice atmosphere. Started with oysters and peel and eat shrimp (Ate some shrimp before photo). Both good, then grouper sandwich and garden salad. Fries were seasoned well. Portion was generous. Full bar, clean bathrooms.

AWESOME Baked beans, coleslaw, crab legs, fisherman's platter, GREAT SERVICE! ESPECIALLY GREAT SERVICE FROM A YOUNG MAN WHOSE GAME ESCAPES ME I WISH I COULD REMEMBER IT! What a great meal and a great price plenty of servings you need to eat at the great catch! We can eat outside or inside. I chose inside and I'm glad I did. You definitely have to try this out because you will not, in my opinion, be disappointed and you definitely will not no no no no no no disappointments! Delicious delicious delicious and I was lucky enough to go on all you can eat crab leg night. There is no specific night for that they're just trying it out and boy was I glad I hit it! I know where I'm going to eat my seafood from now on!

This place is one the best hidden gems in Zephyrhills. The Atlantic Haddock was very fresh and served piping hot. The Kickin Asian shrimp was tasty as well - almost like a sweet chili oil. Outdoor seating was nice but there were flies I had to keep swatting. The Pama Rita left a lot to be desired so stick with beer if you desire a drink with dinner.

Got a fried fish and gator basket with fries. Breading on fish was very thick so I peeled it off and ate just the white fish. I've had gator before so I know how it's supposed to taste. This one was very dry and chewy. Ugh. My friend got fried fish and shrimp. She had same complaints as me. Got my hubby a take out order of grilled grouper and his was delicious!

The food is good and atmosphere is excellent. The restaurant was very busy when I had dinner. It took one hour and 20 minutes to get our orders. The fish was overcooked. The bushing was larger than I expected. Kids eat free on Thursday, which is very good options for families with kids

The seafood platter was awesome with the exception of the scallops. They advertise like Boston. I’m from Boston for some reason the batter keeps falling off the scallops. I have been there 4 times, each time I ordered a plate and alway get the scallops . Each time that I went there on different days the scallops are the same. I’m hoping that one day they get the scallops right, they are one of my favorites ! I don’t know why the batter doesn’t stay on . I miss my scallops from Boston

The hostess and bartender were super, the beer was cold, but the calamari was ... well... maybe not calamari. My fault for not paying attention to the "fries" part of calamari fries. The Mahi was a little overcooked and so were the sweet potato fries. We won't go back.

If you're ever in the Zephyrhills, FL area and you want some great food .. this is the place to go .. a fun casual place with a nice atmosphere and amazing food .. indoor and outdoor dining .. we drove almost 25 miles to come here and it was worth every mile .. this was our 1st time here .. but definitely not our last .. this is now our go to place when we come to FL .. our server Kim was just as sweet as she could be and was extremely helpful with the menu .. and she spaced out our appetizers and dinner order just right .. we had oysters on the half shell - delicious (hard to find back home), fried gator bites - tender and cooked to perfection - amazing, best hush puppies I've ever had - oh so delicious, lobster scampi over linguine - loaded with lobster and shrimp scampi over linguine - loaded with shrimp - pasta was cooked perfect on both dishes and came with garlic bread - fantastic .. fried shrimp dinner with 2 sides - shrimp are breaded with just the right amount of breading - wonderful .. they have live music every night and karaoke on Tuesday .. check them out .. you'll be glad you did .. I know we are .. and the prices are very reasonable ..

We remembered that we had a good meal the last time we were here so were decided to give it another try. We walked in and we were greeted by several servers with a smile and a welcome. It was a beautiful day so were asked for a seat in the outdoor patio. Our server, Tammy, took our drink order and gave us some suggestions that were her favorite dishes. I ordered the Fisherman's platter and it was huge. Had shrimp, clams, scallops, haddock, slaw, fries and onion rings. All lightly breaded and served hot and delicious. My wife got the haddock basket with fries and slaw. Outstanding food, outstanding service. If you enjoy a wide variety of seafood I would suggest you give the Great Catch a try.

Juice was our server, lovely person. We started with a white zinfandel and yuengling beer for yours truly. Ordered fried green tomatoes, very good. First entree was grilled scallops with yellow rice and veggies accompanied by house made Coleslaw, excellent! Second order fried shrimps, French fried potatoes, also house cut and finally onion rings all served with fresh tarter sauce and ketchup. Awesome! I ordered a piña colada which was DOA. The owner offered to make it himself and it was passable. Properly made drinks are a draw to a restaurant. A professional needs to make the drinks even in a family restaurant. Desert was a huge piece of chocolate cake, if I had eaten the whole thing I would be napping underneath the table. Good experience for a land locked location. I shall return!

From Miami staying about a week and on our last day found this gem! Great service and great food! Alexis our waitress was 👏 amazing! Live band and the bird sings to some of the tunes. My husband and I went for a late lunch/early dinner and about 90% of the guest were seniors but all of them were full of zest and energy. Many couples would get up and dance as the band played! I highly recommend if in Zephyrhills you go to THE GREAT CARCH!! LARGE TV AND BIG BAR. OUTSIDE DINING UNDER TIKI AREA, ANOTHER OPEN AREA WITH UMBRELLAS AND THEY ALSO HAVE INDOOR DINING. I am vegetarian but they did have plenty for me to choose from.

Definitely a DIAMOND in the ruff! It’s in a small kinda country(but building up) town by the name of Zephyrhills that we just recently moved to and needless to say...there isn’t many great restaurants let alone one with gator or seafood. BUT LET ME TELL YOU!!! This place was everything! Alexis was our waitress and she couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable also helping with recommendations as it was our first time eating there last night but they will see me,my husband, and my family there often now that we have found our GEM!!! I love this place, I have a very sensitive stomach to fried things and seafood that isn’t fresh. I HAD NOT ON ACHE OR CRAMP TO MY TUMMY. My daughter took me to Great Catch last Friday. The lobster was delish! The coleslaw was the best ever. First time in years I didn't take leftovers home. I ate it all!! Wish we had a Great Catch here in Nobleton. We have a beautiful 1/2 acre (River Oaks Landing on the Withlacoochee River). A local landmark! Great Catch would be a gold mine up here! In the famous words of Arnold Schwarzennegger...I'LL BE BACK!

Finally a date night with my wife!!! I was exited, we ordered mushrooms, gator bites, steak lobster and snow crab!! Server firgot my gator bites, steak over cooked, we sent them back they came out worse!!! The rest was good but my expectations went way down!!! They could have done better, might or might not be back!

This is my favorite seafood restaurant. The food is awesome. The staff is great. Everybody's so friendly and helpful. Love it here! Another awesome Friday night at the Great Catch! Tried the buffalo shrimp this time. It was amazing with their delicious in house blue cheese. He had their gator bites and they were yummy as usual.

Definitely enjoy the new management. I just went recently and we loved the food. I live seafood and the puck 2 basket was perfect for the price. It came out quickly as we missed the dinner rush. But, I'm sure if it was packed they would do their best to get it out in a timely manner. Our server Kristen was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to the seafood lover in you.

This place was amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I came here with family and wasn't looking forward to it because I don't even like seafood, lol. The gator bites were so good, tender with a great taste, and the dipping sauce was good too. I ordered grilled cheese and fries and it was good too. They have the best fries. The atmosphere was the best I found in Zephyrhills during my stay, and they had a live band. Definitely sit outside if it's not too hot. The atmosphere improved as the sun went down.

Yesterday was our first time trying Great Catch restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and service. Our waitress, Montana, was fantastic with her recommendations of appetizers and dinner options. The hush puppies are probably the best we've ever had and the calamari was great too. We all chose the 2 item baskets that came with fries & cole slaw. Shrimp, oysters, clam strips were all fried perfectly. Four stars because the hostess area is right where smokers sit on benches, so we had to put up with smoke while we waited for a table to be cleared/cleaned. UPDATE: we returned for another dinner the following weekend with more family. We were lucky to have Montana as our server again! Still received great service and delicious food. Son-in-law had french onion soup both times and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Great Catch is definitely a great place to enjoy seafood.

We are at The Great Catch at least 3 to 4 times a month. Mickie is our server and she does a fantastic job. It is hard to choose just one server because we have had so many and they are all great. Darlene makes sure that every customer is treated with the upmost respect, timely service, and the food is always served hot. Everyone from the cooks, waitstaff, and those who clear the tables work so hard. Last night the heat was brutal, and yet they worked through all of it. My hat Is off to the owner George for having a wonderful restaurant and staff.

We were a party of 3 Seated immediately and graciously. Kelly was a very friendly server. She was such a pleasure to be around! We had a few questions and she was super knowledgeable and had all the answers!! The fried oyster dinner was huge and delicious! Waffle cut fried sweet potatoes served with maple syrup was great!! Kelly suggested them and she was absolutely correct!! One of our party had broiled Basa Fish fillets. Also very good!! The third member of our party got Scallop and Shrimp Linguine which was The Bomb!! Such a great time! Will definitely go back!! And ask for Kelly!!

The Great Catch was, just ok. We had a party ou f 7. There were several large tables that wouldve accommodatrd all of us in a nice quiet corner. Instead they put 2 tables together right in front of the band. (Which was awesome) With my 80 year old parents, wasnt such a good choice. We couldnt ask to be seated somewhere else, the place was full. We made the best of it. I got clam chowder. It was really bad. Being from Massachusetts where New England Clam Chowder is a staple. Was HORRIBLE! NEVER, put Orgegano in Clam Chowder. Something other than clams was used. Then I got a salad. How can ya screw up a salad? Well, they did. I asked for no onion. Guess what? It was loaded. The service was sub-par.

The restaurant is fantastic, the food is great. Wonderful shrimp dishes and scampi pasta dishes are delicious. This is a hidden gem in Zephyrhills, they always have a table waiting, even when the restaurant is crowded. There is ample parking and outdoor tables, that are covered. This is a must visit seafood delight.

Hands down the best restaurant in Zephyrhills, the staff is amazing and family friendly. The food is out of this world delicious and reasonably priced. Just an all around great place to relax and have a good meal. Me and my family have officially made this our restaurant of choice.

A friend invited me to dinner here on a Saturday evening, fortunately we were seated relatively quickly...a decent spot but I requested a different table...I guess they had to keep that one for a party of four. Our server was pleasant and friendly, the food was served without much of a wait, prices were reasonable... I like the fact that you could get a basket portion, which is smaller, or a full dinner portion. That was a real plus. We sat on the outside deck and it was great that there were no smokers out there! The only thing that interfered with the ambience and a beautiful evening was they had the TV on. It was an interruption to a really nice evening. I would definitely return for another dinner here. Beer and wine only.

I was hopeful... But disappointed. The bisque was alright and the service was good. If the crab bites had any more filling in them, you'd have to call them hush puppies. May try again and order something else but only if they PLEASE sweep UNDERNEATH the dry storage in the kitchen... You can see in from the dining room and it makes me question the cleanliness overall.

Went to the Great Catch Sunday afternoon with a very large group of my friends from the Old Town HOG Chapter motorcycle group. The service was excellent and the food was great. Kudos to these folks for a very good time. Most restaurants cant handle a larger crowd let alone a group that filled one of their dining rooms! Thanks again to the excellent staff.

The Great Catch has the best fish, burgers and coleslaw in Zephyrhills. I get their grouper and my husband gets their shrimp basket most often. Whatever I get, I always order a double coleslaw so I can take it home to enjoy the next day either my leftovers. Very generous portions at a good price, fairly fast service, and they offer daily specials and live music in a nice outdoor area.

Attractive setting, well managed, good staff. Many seating options- outside under a tree, inside under a roof with a tree growing through it, and inside behind walls- there must be an acre of seats. Fries were okay, onion ring batter better, crispier, and the haddock was fantastic. Plenty left over to take home. Condiments were par for the course. We 3 had a nice, half-hour plus lunch- quiet and private amidst a busy Saturday afternoon. I recommend The Great Catch.

Definitely recommend the shrimp and scallop scampi. It was delicious!! I also loved the appetizer Muscles Josephine, so good. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. I go here for the Oysters and the outside patio dinning. Typically there is live entertainment on the patio bar area. They also offer inside dinning area. They have great seafood and service. I only gave three stars because the last two times I went they where out of oysters on the half shell. Still this is a great place to go in Zephyrhills and hoping to change to 5 stars when I get my oyster again.

Would have given the 4 stars except that our 1st time dining experience was in a constructive zone...they had the tree trimming done during the lunch hour and we were in the way of the sawdust and tree debris...at one point there was a crashing down of a tree limb. My wife and I went there for dinner and everything was great!! She had the French onion soup, we shared the mussels Florentine, and fried mushrooms as appetizers. We split the fisherman’s platter and had half of it left over. Everything was hot, service was great with our server Tonya, and the food came out on time. This is not our first time and if you go after 6 on a Friday or Saturday night you might get food slower but this place is a busy place. Highly recommend it!!!!

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for a quick meal, choose an off time. Dinner has always been busy. Although we haven't had to wait long for a table, the food takes a while. The server was great and told us when we ordered drinks that food was taking a long time. We typically get the platters and split them anong a couple people. The fried shrimp, clams and gator bites are delicious. Our kids even braved some frog legs on the night we were there. We like the patio especially with kids. It's very relaxed and we've even caught live entertainment a few times.

Food was very good as well.. the out side seating is very nice and they generally have a band playing on stage. They even have Christmas decorations up for the holidays. Excellent spot, not an empty belly to be found after the meal. I had the fried basa sandwich, w/fries and slaw. The SLAW though. Not heavy, just nice, tart, crunchy. Gator bites were tasty, even though some of my crew were out of staters that aren't adventurous. All dishes were highly complemented, the scrod, shrimp linguine, and the 1.25lb crab legs were all fantastic. Waitress was very friendly, fun and took great care of us. The patio area was spacious and well set up with heaters for these cooler nights. Bar crowd was a little loud but not rowdy, and everyone had a good time.

I give it 5 stars because of the food though was tempted to lower the stars because of the service. I had to go search for my own booster seat because they didn't know where it was and after asking 4 times for one and them saying "oh that's right!" Also had no clue who my waitress really was because 3 different people were taking care of us. Now the food was AMAZING. Gator bites were very soft and delicious. The clam chowder was very hearty and filled me up so I couldn't even eat my dinner, but I did try the fish, scallops, shrimp and oysters, all amazing.

Service is Wonderful!!!! Food, not so great. I ordered a cheese burger and fries and asked for mayo and cheese only and asked for well done. I got cheese and ranch dressing on the side and the burger was med rare. I had to finish cooking it myself and use my on mayo. Like I said, SERVICE was great, couldn't ask for better, but they definitely need a better and faster cook. The one they have really SUCKS!!!!

This is the second time we have eaten here. All I have to say is I waited at the podiums minutes before someone helped us then 25 minutes before we sat even though we saw plenty of empty tables. Plus when we finally sat at the very table that was empty when we got there and the waited another 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food and asked for crackers with our salad which we never got then waited 25 more minutes for our food, which was not too bad..THis THis probably the last time we will come because none of the waitresses even smile it was terrible...

Let me start by saying the service was excellent and 5 Stars, the atmosphere was really good, mainly outdoors seating, but the inside section didn't seem all that great, probably why almost everyone chose the outside tables. I had the "Swamp Platter" which was Gator Bites, Frog Legs, Hushpuppies, a big fish filet and fries, which was very good. The reason I gave only 3 Stars overall was my Brother made the mistake of ordering a Ribeye Steak, which didn't look very good to me, and he said it sucked, to put it plainly. They were also sold out of several menu items. It was still a decent experience, but my brother also knows to stick with seafood the next time we go there. Otherwise I would have given it 4 Stars.

I know yesterday was Father's Day (we ate there since our last dinner with our dad was too celebrate his 91st birthday 2 years ago there and we wanted to honor him for Father's Day after we put flowers on his grave) and they would be busy and would have to wait, got there at 6pm finished dinner at 845p (when we left there still were people who had just received their dinner about 830p and we heard they were running out of food). Shrimp was very delicious but clams were not (small pieces when fried not meaty like in past). My sister's ribeye steak was very tough over cooked & her baked potato had been cooked for hours a lot of inside was brown (she wouldn't say anything about either since she knew restaurant closed at 8pm). I said something to our waitress (who was awesome) and got another baked potato (however it wasn't totally done). Baked beans were delicious, however cup was very hot but the beans were only warm. Would we eat there again yes, because we understand since COVID-19 shutdown restaurants have a hard time having enough cooks & waitress and in the past food was always delicious. Thanks to the staff & especially our waitress.

Thought we'd check out The Great Catch for our anniversary lunch with the family, as we purchase their holiday gift cards for these family members. We were over excited for great seafood our 1st day in Florida and, so my wife could get her raw oysters on. We ordered our drinks and appetizers (raw oysters, of course). Everybody enjoyed their seafood mains. Now, the rest of the story... some of our drinks were served with confusion; I ordered rootbeer but was given a Pepsi, which I slid over to the Pepsi drinker, our server said she'd be back with the remaining drinks, so I mentioned "and my rootbeer". She responded back saying the Dr pepper she served next to me was actually my rootbeer. As she was getting the remaining drinks, i tested that beverage, nope, it really was Dr Pepper. Our server returned to inform us that they were out of raw oysters today, ... awwwe, the whole reason we came out for seafood, ...did we want an alternative? ....no. Our remaining drinks were delivered, but with a Dr Pepper. We ordered our mains and enjoyed the other appetizers. Several of us ordered refills on our beverages. Our server assured me it would be rootbeer this time, wink. Good to know, she has a sense of humor. She delivers mine last, -and finally, here's that Dr Pepper you ordered". Really though, it was finally my rootbeer. Everybody enjoyed their seafood meals. Just bummed they were out of raw oysters.

Just stopped in for a beer, sat at the bar. The beer was cold and served in frosty mugs. Took a few minutes to be noticed by the bartender. Then the bartender disappeared so no one was around when we finished our beer and needed to check out. Another staff person showed up to get a beer so we asked her if she would get our check. She said she could not, that the bartender had to but she was waiting tables. The woman left but came back a couple minutes later and checked us out anyway. I guess they're short staffed.

Was honestly disappointed with their Mahi-mahi dinner. The fish looked exactly like those long triangles strips you buy in the store. The one plus was they give you more then you can eat at one sitting so I had plenty to bring home. I also ordered a bowl of clam chowder which on a scale of 5, I would give it a 2.5. Not that I’m an expert on clam chowder but I have been all over the lower 48 and have always tried their clam chowder if it’s on the menu. Not sure right now if we will be going back. Maybe it was a bad night.

Great food, great service. I was born and raised in new England, down here as a tourist. Ive had great seafood, and i was skeptical of a place in central Florida serving seafood, so i ordered shrimp, because i know it probably came from the gulf and would be fresh. But my wife ordered clam chowder. I did not have high expectations, because ive had some great chowder, at many different restaurants. I tried some of her chowder, and ended up finishing it for her. It was legit, clams were flavorful, and the seasoning was on point. Back to my order, the shrimp was good. I ordered the kickin shrimp, which is fried shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, kind of reminded me of a sweet chili sauce i like to get at trader Joe's. I finished em. The fries are crispy, just how i like them, and not overly salty. I can always add salt if i want, but its tough to un salt your fries, so it was great. I should add that i was in a party of 9, with 3 kids, aged 6, 4, and my son whose 3rd birthday was the next day. The waitress was super friendly, i wish i remembered her name so i could give her the credit she deserved, as large parties are a pain. She remained cheerful and talkative, asked how old my son was, and i said his 3rd birthday was tomorrow. At the end of the meal, she brought him some cookies for his birthday! It was a nice touch to end the night. Other things i liked were the large mugs of draft beer (28oz), and the atmosphere. There were birds (small parrots, maybe?) That were super cute, and my kid loved them. They came right up to him and kept him entertained til our food arrived. If youve tried to eat at a restaurant with a 3 year old, you know this is a lifesaver. I come down to the area every year with my family to visit my wife's family, and i think i found my new favorite dinner spot. Five stars

The atmosphere alone here is awesome. Love sitting on the deck to eat. The good: chowder, lobster roll, broiled scallops, shrimp scampi, gator bites, calamari, chicken sandwich, ribs... The bad?: bar drinks are hit & miss so far. Have to get to know the bartender a little better I guess. Seems like my go-to west coast drink, the Mai Tai, isn't on anyones menu here? Lots of fried options so can't really eat light here. I'm learning though! Still a GREAT dining option here in Zephyr!!! Will keep going and finding the best menu items!

We had to get our own takeout containers and the table was never cleared. We then had to go to the cashier to get our check. The server was standing there talking to the cashier. It was not very busy that night. I have been in the Restaurant/Bar and catering business for 28 years. I understand how it works. Will return to dine again. Go during the week if you're going to go at all.Wait time was an hour to get in on a Friday and you can't call ahead. Then another hour to get an hordeuver then they were out of lobster bisque and clam chowder after we got our meals and I waited for it and we never did get the extra side salad. All in all, the service left something to be desired, but the food (Fisherman's Platter and the Lobster Roll) was good, so we'll give it one more try-during the week.

The atmosphere is nice the service not too great The grouper grilled was very Bland and it seemed to be pressed I would not recommend a grilled grouper sandwich at all. I'm sure you would be better off if it's fried. The whole experience there for the most part was okay considering we had to wait 20 minutes for a glass of tea then received our food also ask for a takeout order for a grouper sandwich which took almost an hour and when the waitress came to our table she apologized to us and said it would have been out sooner but she dropped our fish sandwich in soapy water. LOL I could not write this no more than a 3-star. Definitely need somebody new to grill the fish and know how to season it and find a new waitress that wouldn't tell her customers that she dropped their grouper sandwich into a tub of soapy water.

We enjoyed a great meal here last night. We started with 4 dozen oysters. They were fresh and bright. Offered with raw horseradish, lemon, seafood sauce and crackers. For dinner we had a seafood platter, snow crab and a lobster roll. Amazingly everything was cooked to perfection. Scallops, Shrimp, onion rings, fries and fish all cooked perfectly. No room left for desert but the one I saw in the fridge looked great. Will return soon.

The service was excellent, the food was plenty, and the final bill didn't require a second mortgage. My wife had the lobster roll and it's worth every penny paid, and some. Thick chunks of fresh lobster lightly tossed in mayonnaise and other Boston spices. I had the fisherman's platter. It was big. Very big. The place was a tall as it was long. Plenty of shrimp, scallops, clams, and a nice filet of Haddock, buried by a mountain of onion rings. Find this place and eat. You won't be disappointed.

I could not finish, but wanted to eat every bite. She had the grilled shrimp dinner. What a large pile of big, beautiful, juicy delicious shrimp! And the onion rings we both had were perfectly done. Joline was are server and she kept checking to make sure we had everything and that out glasses were never empty. We both came from other towns and I admit I was a little worried when I passed through part of the surrounding neighborhood. But the atmosphere here is bright and inviting and even the bathrooms were spotless! Try this place... it is awesome!

Only reason I lowered rating to 4 stars was their choice to have that vile, totally political show The View on the tv. The Three Stooges would have at least been entertaining.

This place is a hidden gem that reminds you of an old style Florida roadhouse with great food and atmosphere. They also have a 2 level outdoor bar/seating area that complements their indoor dining rooms. I love their fish dinners & fresh coleslaw while my husband loves their burgers as well as their shrimp dishes. They make a mean Bloody Mary & have many types of ice cold beer served by a great attentive staff. We have also done takeout and have never been disappointed in the quality or quantity of food. Try them now before the snowbirds come back and you have to wait for a table.

This is a very nice seafood restaurant. They even serve fried alligator tail which is delicious. The staff and hosts are friendly. There can be a wait if you go in the late afternoon but let me tell you the food is worth it. On some select nights they host an live music and they have a really cool aviary on site if you are into that kind of thing. Prices are reasonable considering what they bring to the table. Good place for a nice drink and good food and also a good place for younger crowds.

Great service and great food. Me and a buddy split gator bites; can't find that in enough places. Swapped fries and slaw for a garden salad. Healthiest dressing was oil and vinegar, could use more options, but a very good salad: cucumber, tomato, green pepper, red onion and lots of lettuce. Blackened mahi mahi was tender, juicy, and plentiful. Wish there was another diet soda beside Diet Pepsi but I needed to drink more water anyway. Definitely coming back again and again.

Two out of the three last times we’ve been there the service was terrible (outside tables). I had to go ask for somebody to wait on us ( it’s been before 4). This afternoon we were told oh, we don’t have any waitress assigned to the outside area. When we finally got a waitress it took forever to get our food. She even came over and said, sorry, we were getting ready to serve 2 tables of 12. There weren’t any tables of 12, and what if there were? Two to three tables got their food before we did. One more time we are done. The restaurant seems under staffed and the girl who seated us had to answer a phone while trying to talk to us. Rude.

My wife had crab legs which were Google but overcooked. I had a lobster and the claws were ok but had a funky flavour, the tail was so tough I couldn't chew it. I brought all of this to the attention of the waitress that said she would tell the owner. We never saw the owner, very disappointed. Not looking for a free meal just would like to come back and hopefully have a better experience.

The Great Catch is a wonderful restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu offers a nice selection of seafood, burgers, steak, salad, etc. They have specials most nights. For example, some nights have "all you can eat" specials, while other nights have single serve specials, e.g., 12 oz. Prime Rib and 2 sides for $15.99. They also have a nice selection of beer and wine. The staff is polite and friendly. We would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Thank God new owners took over this place! I was in that kitchen when it was Mainly New England and let me tell you, I promised I would NEVER go back so much so that even as I was offered the head chef position I couldn't take it. I was petrified that I would be held responsible for their lack of well... Everything... However, after speaking with the new owners we decided to give it a try. Everything we ordered was delightful! The gator bites we're perfectly fried, not greasy and didn't have that "old oil" flavor from frying. She shrimp were steamed and seasoned nicely and were plump and juicy. The staff was absolutely wonderful! If you're like me, remembering Mainly New England, KNOW it's not the same!!! Give 'em a try!

Amanda was welcoming and a great waitress, that made our first time experience excellent. Food was great hot and pretty fast, ( the place was pretty full) only the ribs were a little dry for my taste but grandma was happy and ate them all, my cousin who's from Virginia really enjoy the gator bites, I was surprised with the fried pickles, the muscles were great as well, all around we all left more than happy. I would recommend And will bring more friends there.

Oh my goodness. The foot long lobster roll, belly fried clams and creamy delicious clam chowered loaded with chunks of clams were just as scrumptious as we get in Maine at the best Lobster shacks. Prices are great. An hour away and will be going back often. Greaat restaurant with indoor seating, outdoor under roof. A really cool place. The couple beside us had the fried seafood combo, it was piled a foot high with onion rings on top. Outstanding.

Here's the good and the bad. Philly cheese steak was delicious, not too dry and not soaked with onions and bell peppers. Buffalo and Kickin shrimp where amazing. Although my wife enjoyed the gator bites on a previous trip, they served them when they shouldn't have. I believe they were at the end of the batch and we received fried breading mostly. Our server was professional and friendly and removed the cost of the gator bites when I mentioned it. It was amazingly warm in there during our visit. The server was sweating and I followed suit shortly into the meal. I'm sure that was a fluke but it was my first visit. The place is nicely decorated with a New England Coastal theme.

Food was good, waitress ("Karry with a K" I hope I did her name correctly) was excellent, patrons fun as Karaoke was good. Would have been more stars but know this COUNT YOUR CHANGE FROM BARTENDER!! Not only did she short us as we sat at the bar waiting for our table but then added the 2 extra beer to our dinner tab!? Court your change or better management should deal with cash.

Food was scrumptious! The Fisherman's platter fed me and my husband and we still took two boxes of food home! We also ordered a cup of clam chowder...it's the best I have had in Florida. The atmosphere is great, laid back and casual...cute bar outside..nice lady and gentleman singing, we enjoyed them very much. The service was best of all; Amanda could not have been sweeter, funnier, or more professional. She was very attentive to our needs without being there too much! She really loves her job and it shows!!!

Such a fun atmosphere in this outdoor restaurant with the beautiful birds. The wait staff was super friendly, especially with the kids wanting to play with the birds. Everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed theor meal.

I just got take out but the folks working the front register were just fantastic. They seemed like they enjoyed doing what they do. The food was great too! I was upset to hear they no longer sold the Jumbo Mahi Taco! Please consider bringing it back! Also, trying to look at your website on an android was a pretty janky experience - it wasn't working quite right.

Great food. Awesome service. The waitresses were great with our 10 people and extra wonderful with my 2 year old. Its a great place to chill amd eat. If you're in z-hills definitely go check them out. You won't be disappointed.

The food was good but it took quite a while for it to get to us. when we were first seated there were quite a few people in the area that we were in and there was literally one server and she was very good she just had too many people and too many tables to run. later on during our way there did appear to be more servers.

Very busy after 5 pm. Food was good. Had the shrimp scampi and what a bounty of shrimp. Was pleasantly surprised. The pasta was slightly el dente, perfect. Also had the fish (haddock) and chips. The price differential between the basket and the all you can eat was a little confusing. 11.99 for the basket and 14.99 for the all you can eat. Fries were cooked to perfection as well as the fish. The atmosphere is very New England. The wait staff was fast and friendly.

Great food, always fresh and hot. The problem with this last visit was the service, it took more than an hour to get our main meals. I suspect the server was new because the service is usually fast. We did not say anything to the server since we felt she was just learning but the food is always great!

Has the best New England clam chowder I have ever had...and yes I have tried lots of different places. Also had a basket with clam strips and shrimp with fries and garlic bread. All were amazing. So was the lemon meringue pie. Service Amanda was great she was very professional and fun. So over-all best place I have had seafood since I have been in Florida. Says a lot been here for 12 years.

Had a really fantastic date night at The Great Catch! Rarely get to spend time away from the child, but our server, Monica REALLY made our experience pleasurable. Prices are relatively reasonable for a seafood restaurant in our area. The hush puppies are delicious, dipped in the lobster bisque and the clam chowder, and the coconut shrimp was damn good as well. One of the best seafood joints in Zephyrhills!
