Found some Smokin’ good Que on the drive to St Augustine. Worth a stop. The Shrimp Platter is off the hook well seasoned deliciousness. My husband was very impressed with how the brisket was so moist/juicy (not easy to do with brisket). Great selection of dishes available but be ready to have a wait while your food is being prepared. I ordered the pulled pork dinner with corn and potato salad. The pulled pork was delicious! The corn was very garlicky - delish - so can imagine how good the shrimp would taste. The potato salad was very creamy (possibly with a hint of egg?), and a good sized portion. Hubby got the brisket with corn and green beans. The brisket tasted a tad salty for me (of course I tried his food, haha!) and a bit spongey on the texture. He enjoyed it but said he would get something else next time. He did highly rate the green beans though. We will certainly return to try out some more food when next in the area.

Although a little bummed out from my experience from this place, I’m writing an unbiased review of their food. Was gonna have some crawfish for lunch but apparently they misinformed me about their current supply and didn’t have any crawfish at all (I messaged them and they responded saying they had some). So I settled for some beef brisket, turkey rice, & garlic butter corn instead. The beef brisket was a little on the dry side. The beef itself wasn’t as flavorful, but the seasoning that was sprinkled on top made it a little bit better. It was room temperature. The turkey rice was a little bland for my taste, but it’s something new to me and I suppose it has more flavor than plain white rice. The corn on the cob was a little over cooked and felt machine. The garlic butter sauce tasted pretty good though. I would give this place another chance for a second review if I could try the crawfish next time.

Really good "dirty" BBQ, burnt ends, grissle, and marlbling. The brisket was one of the better ones I have had, fair pricing, and friendly staff. The only critique I have is that some mambies couldn't handle some spice, so they had to get rid of the spicy sauces. Probably still want mom to cut their crust off too. Grow up Jacob, you're 31.

I drive past this lil place everyday on the way to work and think how good it smells. The husband and I tried the ribs and brisket dinners today... The meat is freaking delicious! I will definitely be trying the other items on the menu soon!

A little spendy and the corn was very over cooked and soft. But all in all, very tasty. I’m glad they wrapped the boxes in Saran as it would have been a heckuvamess had they not. We had the 4 crab cluster and added sausage to it. Shrimp were excellent!!! Potatoes were good too!!

We had Sims catered for a graduation party and our guest raved about how delicious the meat was cooked. In comparison to other places the price was very reasonable. We ordered the smoked pulled pork and wings, the pork was juicy and mouthwatering. The wings were fantastic. The service was wonderful, very kind people. Will definitely be back!

Food is good, lemonade is great. We dealt with a young lady in the window who took our order. There was an older women in the truck with her who was very pleasant. And an older gentleman who came outside at some point and was also very pleasant. The younger lady however I think either was having some personal issues and probably wasn't very informed on how customer service works. When speaking with her she was short and turned her back towards us several times while trying to place our order. Little eye contact, and it made us feel like one we either didn't belong there or we were bothering her. We just didn't feel very comfortable. However the other two people were very pleasant. Over all atmosphere- tables/ clean, floor/clean, music/ good and neutral I feel too any audiance Food- great taste! We had the brisket and pulled pork. I thought the brisket was way too thick and fatty for my liking, but that's me. The pulled pork was delicious just too fatty for me. This is my preference.🤷‍♀️ mac and cheese, green beans, and potato salad all very wonderful!!! For a pulled pork sandwich and two sides with a cup of lemonade (probably 12 ounces give or take with ice) came to $15. For me $15 plate I'm used to spending at Olive Garden or similar. I wish I could afford to eat here every day because food is amazing!!! But prices are almost al carte. $2.50 for lemonade $6 and some change pulled pork sandwich NO SIDES $2.50 for each side However you could get a dinner for $13 that came with 2 sides Now with that aside, I have read the owners responses to those that leave bad reviews and I think its very unprofessional how they handle their customer service reviews and over all take on others opinions. I know what it's like to love something you do and have alot of pride in it. However, how you respond to others shows those who havnt visited your establishment a little of what they might experience and may turn away possible customers.

I thought about taking a picture of it just after I started eating, but then the brisket was too yummy so I just devoured it. No teeth? No worries cause the brisket is extremely tender. A little expensive, but not bad for a bar b que food truck.

The food is really great if you go in person but honestly they just need to give up on Uber eats… every time I order in Uber eats it’s a problem… today canceled order, last time wrong sides given and no pound cake nor a refund for missing items it’s sad because the food really is good but Seffner is a bit far for me. Blessings... It was my first time going there, thanks be to God because Subway was closed. I had grilled chicken 🍗 and potato 🥔 salad. It was delicious 😋. Maybe chicken a little dry, and a bit more of seasoning would of been good 👍. This is sooooo funny, a while back I wanted grilled chicken and have you guys right there in our neighborhood, and went all the way to a place in Brandon that I thought it had grilled chicken and didn't. I had to have something I didn't want neither enjoyed that day. Oh well!! Blessings.

I ate at Sims smoked foods today, in Seffner. Off the wall good bbq. Can't wait to eat there again! Awesome pork, homemade collards, perfect southern sweet tea. Great $ value too! Happy friendly service, very clean for an outdoor eatery. Ill be back. Ask for "The money sauce"

Best barbecue sauce and pulled pork I've had a long time. Definitely stopping in whenever I'm in the area. Hats off to you guys! No lie I waited about 5 minutes after my lunch and went back and bought 4 pounds of pulled pork to take home to my family. This place its the spot with that pulled pork and secret BBQ sauce!

Dry rub seasoning they used on the brisket was really good. Beans were weak and cold and the turkey rice was ah ok. Not worth the $15 that was paid that's for sure.

Happen to be driving in the area and stopped by due to the wonderful smell and I bought a half a slab of smoked ribs. Turned out to be a great idea because the ribs were delicious, fall off the bone goodness, with a flavor that will make you want to come back. So I shall 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Listen, every review besides mine and then some. I ordered the 8 cluster crab legs and it's worth every penny. Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly and none of the legs were skimpy on meat as well. And FORGET dipping in melted butter, you're gonna dip it in the juices at the bottom of the bag because that seasoning is pure flavor. Throw a pretty sweet rewards points program and they got a customer for life. 6 out of 5 stars 🔥👏🏼

Customer service is great. Sauce and ribs are good. Mac and cheese taste like it's from the box, baked beans taste canned. I asked for a roll but got plain white bread. All of the sides we not available. I'm so disappointed because we drove all the way from Tampa to eat here. 50 bucks later and we were left with a belly full of just okay food.

Ribs were amazing, best I've had in awhile. Order taker was young and not at all helpful. They were out of pretty much everything. The mullet tasted like smoked ocean, but the really bad part was it wasn't scaled or deboned. So every single bite was either a scale or bone, or both if you were lucky. Got the crab and that was decent, corn was okay too, bit too much seasoning, and I like seasoning, but man it was drenched. If I ever did go back I would get the ribs 100, but I doubt I'll go back, just overall lacking.

Let me just say 5 stars are not enough for the food, portions, friendliness and the short wait! I had the shrimp and grits and I am blown away by the great taste! Paid twice the amount for a quarter of the serving for brunch at another restaurant. Never again!!! My sister in law got the crab leg dinner and it was better than anywhere we’ve been and again price and portions omg! Thank you Naomi & Junior for such great food and service! I will be back weekly! Yes yes yes!!! Until today I had only had the smoked mullet which is awesome! I got a rack of ribs today along with some mullet and I am gonna tell you right now that these are some of the best ribs I have ever had!! Can’t wait to try more of the menu. The best crab legs ive ever had. PERIOD! The manager Naomi was beyond amazing. The shrimp is also a favorite of mine but EVERYTHING they have to offer is exceptional. I highly recommend them not only for their food but also for the great customer service. you couldnt ask for better food if your own mother cooked it.

Best food truck we have ever experienced!!! Heading to the Tampa Florida airport, came across this little food truck at US 92 and County Road 579 in Seffner Florida. The ribs fell off the bone & melted in our mouth!! The barbecue sauce was tangy & delicious, Like nothing I have ever tasted!! Then went on to the garlic shrimp tray, I have no words it was delicious, beachy southern with just the right amount of heat!! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE this place if you are in the area!!! I’m no food critic but I would give this one 10 stars if I was!!

They should stipulate that they don't always have crawfish. The prices are decent: $13 for a meal with 2 sides. The sides were small, the baked beans and turkey leg tasted okay, the turkey leg was a good size, and the brisket, garlic potatoes, and garlic eggs were really good.

Delicious !!!! I Live In Clearwater. I Came To Seffner To Visit My Mom. She Suggested This Place. We Split A Rib Dinner, With A Side Of Corn. The Ribs Were Fall Off The Bone Tinder. The BBQ Was Perfectly Balances. It's Clearly A Mustard Base, But Was NOT Mustardy. The Corn Was Covered In A Seasoned Sauce, We Decided To Dip The Ribs In The "Corn Sauce". WOW! So Glad We Tried That. It Was A GREAT Combo. If You Order Ribs, Ask Them If The Will Give You A Side Of The Sauce (corn comes in). You'll Be Glad You Did. My Mom & I Are Full From This Dinner Plate & There Is Still Food Left. Portion Size Is Great For The Price Too. I Will Definitely Be Back To Try More Items On Their Menu.

My family and I had been looking for an awesome local bbq place that had GOOD BBQ. Tried to order food from smokey bones yesterday but my order was cancelled because they could not fulfill the order so everyone was disappointed so I had googled bbq food trucks near me and I came across Blake's Best BBQ that was supposed to be located on the corner of 92 and 579 in the subway parking lot so I take my daughter and drive down there and I see Sims Smoked bbq and seafood so I get out and order from them because the food smelled amazing! I'm glad I did because when I got it home and we started eating, everything was absolutely amazing! Ribs were nice and smokey and incredibly tender but still has texture with a nice smoke ring! The collard greens were out of this world! And the pulled pork sandwich was to die for! The bbq sauce they give on the side goes so well with it and has lots of flavor! They do a fantastic job over there and the prices are awesome! I HIGHLY recommend SIMS Smoked bbq and seafood!! Absolutely Amazing!! ❤❤❤❤

Co-worker and I went for lunch and I have to say some of the best beef brisket I've ever had in my life. My co-worker got the pulled pork sammich, he said it was fire I have to agree. I also ordered a side of the garlic taters best damn garlic taters I've had cajun style.

The truth. The whole truth. And nothing but the truth. So. Help. Me. Gawwwd!!! Never imagined even remotely liking anything that came out of a food truck. As a result I've passed by this truck for YEARS and never thought about stopping. My guy suggested we "just stop by and try it" last night. We did and I'm so glad. We got a half slab of ribs, garlic shrimp tray (with corn, eggs and potatoes), the turkey rice, baked beans and sweet potatoe pie. Everything and I mean everything was incredible- with the exception of the pies. Neither of us was a fan of those. But the actual food was....#everything. The service was good too. The young man at the window acknowleged us right away and was super helpful in answering our questions about the menu. I'll absolutely be visiting again soon. 🍴

I would highly suggest not trying the smoked mullet as it is very oily. Nothing bad about the service or the business itself. I had never tried mollet and thought I would it just personally was not to my liking. Next time I'll be sure to try the beef and pork is it smell delicious also

I just started coming to SimsSmoked 2-3 Weeks ago. You can smell the food that they make while driving down the street. Haven't found seafood that taste like Miami Seafood until I tried Simsmoked. I was home sick for some good seafood and Island foods. Not Home sick anymore. When I come in town to visit....This is one of my "Favorite" seafood places. Well worth it! One of those city gems! Literally the best at what they do! We haven’t been there in a while due to us living in Orlando, but we’ll make it back there soon! (we reminisce about the food often lol) We get the mullet and it’s always amazing. The owners are friendly and I really wish they would expand so we could get it more often! Food is delicious but the app needs to be more savvy friendly. Sometimes they are really busy and calling isn’t the best option so I like to put my order in early through the app but constantly kept running into error messages and told to choose options that were blank.

Truly just one word to describe the bbq - wow. You roll up to Sims and have some doubts, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. I owe them an apology for doubting.. Bbq smoked to perfection.... ribs were awesome. The sides were “I’d eat them on their own” type of great. Don’t hesitate to swing by - you won’t regret it!

Stopped on my way home to Lithia for the turkey legs for the old man so I wouldn't have to cook tonight. Decided I would get some chicken for myself. Well the chicken didn't make it home. The aroma got to me so much that I had to take a bite and all I can say is that I'm glad I was alone in the car because I could not believe how good it was. I was oohing and ahhing and oh my goshing as i wolfed it down. You work magic. The barbecue sauce is great and I will definitely be back for more and I'm going to tell everybody about it. Thank you!

This is a food truck on MLK in Seffner. The usual smoked bar-b-que is available. They also have turkey legs, smoked mullet and turkey n' rice. The people are very friendly. The portions are hugh and one plate could feed two. The prices are very reasonable, especially with the big portions. Great dinner to pick up and bring home. They also cater parties, etc.
