I have been to this establishment a couple times and the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. It's always neat and clean. I had the buffalo wings and my friend had fried oysters. We both enjoyed our lunch. The only lady working the counter today was very efficient. She was doing the counter and the drive thru. As I was waiting for my food this lady in the drive thru was yelling at her. This Salem's employee kept her cool through it all. I was very impressed. Side note.. it did take about 15 min to get my food. (They were getting slammed.) And most of the menu is cooked to order. I suggest you order ahead if you are in a time crunch. Oh and try the cheesecake!! It's amazing.

There is nothing like some Fresh Fried Shrimp with some Bang Bang Sauce! I can’t lie, the chicken gizzards are pretty good. If you’re not feeling experimental try the Shrimp Gyro. You can’t go wrong! This is one of my late night spots.

It was my first time eating here and I loved the food. I didn't care for the state of the bathroom or how many people had attitudes behind the counter (not just with the guest, but each other as well). Overall a great experience and two out of three individuals who are here, said they'd go back (I am one of those individuals).

Salem’s is a good fast food place. Always freshly made and tasty. For the calorie-conscious, you can swap the fries and soda with a side salad and non-sweetened ice tea. Fish and chips and shrimp gyros are great. Not much a fan of their wings though. ~10 per meal without deals.

The Philly Cheesesteak was phenomenal. We got it fully loaded and it was just about to die for. We did ask to have tomatoes off and they forgot that but that’s alright. The bread is so fresh! 10/10 recommend with fries and cheese on the side.

Loosing the touch. Gyro meat cold boneless wings not cooked thoroughly lines usually too long to complain/get reimbursed... Last 2 most recent visits had to wait even longer because my orders were incorrect. Not the same Salem's.

The food is amazing, and I believe it holds true to their commitment to always making the food fresh when it's ordered. This does make the drive thru line longer but not unreasonably long. The staff is kind and courteous and I've never had a bad meal here. However, I am taking one star off because of the sheer number of pan handlers in the parking lot. I do not believe I have ever come to Salem's and not either been asked for money, a ride, to have my windshield cleaned, or on occasion cursed out by someone asking for something in the parking lot. To me, I do not feel comfortable recommending Salem's to any woman as a result of the situation in the drive thru they would encounter.

You know, I don't know what it is about this restaurant chain, but every time I get food from here, the food is always consistently good. The prices tend to be higher than most fast food places, but to be honest, in this case, the price reflects the product. I would highly recommend ANY Salem's location to anyone looking for something fast but not lacking quality.

Food is good enough but more expensive than it should be. They're open late which is great. More diverse options than McDonald's or Taco Bell when options are limited after midnight.

The best thing about this restaurant is that all food is cooked to order. My favorite is the grilled shrimp that are seasoned to perfection. Hot crispy fries with every meal. Since everything is cooked fresh there is a bit of a wait but well worth it.

I really enjoyed the food had a gyro salad (I added extra meat thinking it wasn't enough I was way wrong) much better than I thought & definitely a repeat plate. Staff was very nice & I even saw the manager come out & pick up a few things that were on the floor during the rush. They are cook to order so I'm used to waiting in line. That particular night the wait was LONG! It is well worth the wait plus I drove over an hour to go... Food is always fresh and delicious.

The food is always great here.. especially for late night quick-trips. The only down falls are the occasional attitude you may get from employees taking your order lol but it’s probably because they’re tired and are always busy (even at like 2-3am)… and a lot of times you’ll also see homeless people lingering around the doors and parking lot.. but again.. that’s not really their fault anyhow— just little inconveniences.

Update: Lowering to 4 stars because the last several times they keep 'making mistakes'. I ordered a dinner and added a large tea and they charged 4.99 extra. When I questioned the price at the drive thru window she said 'The large tea is 4.99' So then as I drove away, I saw the sign said '32 oz tea is 1.99' Went back into the store and she said that you have to tell them you want the 1.99 large tea or else they charge 4.99. REALLY??? Fine. Here's your Lower score. And hey, if you do that again (And I know you will, because you've done it before) I'll lower it again to 3 stars. Original Review: We love Salems!! Came here a week or so ago. We had a glitch on our order. They made it right!! We love their potato salad, greek salad, fried fish. Fun vibe. Highly recommend

I ordered a gyro platter... the fries were excellent but the sandwich was not. I didn't find out until I got home. The gyro meat was old and dry and not at all appeasing. To call the restaurant is fruitless. I'll go back but I'll think twice about getting a gyro. It was not fresh... sorry not sorry.

Decent gyros, the fries are always very soft but don't taste bad. I noticed a lot of options that you won't find at other fast food places. I'm not sure I'll ever be brave enough to try the chicken gizzards, but they definitley have 'em so this may be the only drive through you can find gizzards at if you're someone in a drive-thru-gizzards-with-a-side-of-soft-fries kind of mood. 🚘🐔🍟

Usually my go to late night place. Today though they did something different to the fries that I don't like. They have some sort of crunchy crust on the outside. If someone from Salem's is reading this, I hope this isn't your new way doing fries. Put them back how they were.

This is the best Salem's in the bay area by a long-shot. I typically associate Salem's with hit-or-miss food and terrible service, but not here. The food comes out hot, crispy, and made correctly every time. The one time that something was missing from my order, the staff for very polite and got me what I was missing right away. Additionally, they have a freestyle machine inside, so you have a big variety of soft drinks to choose from. There's no better place that I know of to get gizzards in the area.

Third visit here. The second time was Christmas Eve and they were PACKED. Tho I had a lengthy wait time, the staff was incredible (exception of one who was called in on his day off and made it aware to everyone in the facility). The other 2 visits, no wait and always friendly. Wanted to point out the professionalism of the entire staff, excluding the one. I’m sure I will be back 💕

Philly cheese steak sub super delicious!! It may take a bit to get your food BUT so worth the wait!!! Hot Fries crispy and not salty. Sub was just made to order: loaded with lettuce tomato jalapeno onions cheese Philly steak. Different type of hot & cold food made fresh upon ordering. Went to Tampa to visit a dear friend and was craving some seafood. Stopped here and the food was amazing. The staff was pleasant and nice and food was good and fast service. Heard many good things about Salem glad i got to experience the good food. Will def be back Update 4/21/2020 Went back to eat and was taken care of my Alexandria aka Alex... She went about and beyond for me. As i pull up to the window she says there out of sweet tea. She saw the disappointment in my face so she offered to make some freshly brewed sweet tea. That was so sweet of her to do... Thank you for making my experience a good one Alex. Your such a sweet lady

This was my first visit experience at Salem's. It was a Drive thru run on my way from point A to Destination point(B). I ordered The #6 Cheese Burger Meal with drink and fries as well as an additional Medium Drink and my total was $18.64. Even though I was interested and qurieous to try the optional, out of the unique menue list to order off of, I decided against trying something new only because it was later than I usually eat and I was very hungry due to the lack of food all day! The meal I chose was very good and I definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't already.

Good food and good prices but service is ALWAYS slow. The manager was standing in the parking lot & when we pulled up to ask a question she had an attitude and announced she was the manager. We just wanted to know where the line for the drive thru started cause the parking lot was congested and it wasn't organized. Helpful tip: Online ordering pickup only inside, not drive thru. When food is going to take longer than estimated order pickup, they should update their menu online. Otherwise food was hot and fresh like always. Service could have been a little better.

Salem's has always been my favorite spot, but lately I noticed that their gizzards have been refried and refried until they cannot be bitten into. I heard that it's the managers fault, he does not want to discard the fried ones and so refries, so the public think they're fresh. We know! Very disappointed at Salem's deception techniques. Hope they wake up and change otherwise adios.

3 stars only because the food was great and large portioning. Counter girls are nice. The wait time was far too long for our 2 plates. A Doordash deliverer was waiting for her order when we walked in and we got our food before her order. She was still waiting when we left 20-25mins later. There was only us 2, 1 other customer and the Doordash girl on the inside. The employees were more focused on drive-thru customers than the few of us on the inside. They seemed disorganized on who was doing what and which orders needed filled. Inside could've stood a good cleaning....looked and felt dirty. No handsoap in Women's bathroom, which also needed attention. Probably won't go back.

This location is always pretty busy on a Saturday night, which is the day that I was there. Not necessarily a bad thing, just stating for someone to expect it. Store could use some updated/newer seating & also, since the store is so busy, a person to clean a little more frequently due to the foot traffic. Tables really need to be cleaned when guest are done eating & floors should be swept more frequently. Food is good though but I suggest taking it to go.

The lines are LONG every time I go, but there's a reason: the food is so good! The wait time takes a long time, add the fact that they are always busy makes for a packed lobby and long lines at the drive thru. The thing is, it's worth the wait! I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the wait but again, the food is awesome! Some servers are excellent, others are okay, others aren't that great but I never had BAD service. And they have many employees so you will experience a difference with each one. The place is kept clean, even with the crowded lines. Overall, I'm satisfied.

My kids love the gizzards here. Fried shrimp and wings are pretty good. Don't get the fried oysters. They don't seem fresh and some can taste bad. They have decent prices and service is ok depending on the person. Lines can get long if you go during peak lunch and dinner hours.

Love their Gyros ,good size with tons of meat on these. Also their spicy shrimp wraps are really good , no skimping on the shrimp either. Excellent choice of desserts, red velvet cake, cheese cake , plain or topped, they are also one of the few places you can get fried chicken gizzards , This place has a really diverse selection of different foods! I have Never gotten bad food here, They are open VERY VERY late , only draw back is you will be waiting in the drive thru line for a while, ANY night of the week, that's how good the food is.

They are always very friendly and professional, but the quality of my food wasn't that great this time. I ordered the burger and fries and they gave me just a handful of fries and the burger taste and looked like a burger that came out of the freezer section of the grocery store versus the quality burger that it normal is. I won't get that again and was highly disappointed for the prices they charge.

I've only been to a couple of these locations. This is my first review of them. Pita bread has always been fresh. No one can argue the amount of meat you get, and the price reflects that. But not over priced. Good, almost really good gyro. And the gallon size large drinks are good.

Corporate must not want anyone to dine inside this restaurant. The staff is great but they look miserable at times because the music there sucks and runs regular guest away. I don't dine there anymore and if I do think I will I bring my headphones but it is so rude to the staff. I don't desire to listen to any rap or cursing but I don't want to hear the same songs over and over again. If aren't already crazy it will make you. Poor staff.

Okay, so I have to say, the food here is always top notch, never had anything bad from here. My issue is the servers, you have a 1/3 chance of them copping an attitude with you when placing an order. If it wasn’t for that I’d give it a 5/5, for the price and the food it can’t be beat.

Based on several visits to this restaurant, I give this location a solid 3/5 stars. The cheese fries and the fried shrimp are always my go-to eats here, but the wings seem to be hit or miss on the quality...perhaps it depends on the particular individual who happens to be cooking them that night. Had one incident where management did not want to accept a particular brand credit card, even though they were able to use it anyway after they learned I had no other form of payment with me... not sure what that was about.

The have the best fried oysters so far everything i have had is very good and fresh cooked. The wait is during the busy times is 15 to 20 minutes inside. I've gotten fried oysters in 7 minutes in the drive thru. The wings can be high if you add other things but they are Great and you pay for what you like and want!!! Try the Sweets they are Fresh Made. There is so many options to choose from meats salads sweets and drinks good prices and good service

The food was good as always. My husband had the hamburger and fries, I would go there just for the fries. I had chicken with yellow rice and black beans we enjoyed the food so much I could not eat all my food so I can have more tomorrow. The services was good and the place was clean and briet.

I have been up for 30 hours, finished my final assignment of the semester and thought id get some tasty food at 1 AM. I have never been to a Salems and I was eager to try, I was approached by two gentlemen and one took my order while the other observed, I didn't know what I wanted and I trusted the recommendation. I got a shrimp philly with all sorts of stuff on it and a Dr.P , the pepper was flat as hell but I can't complain. All my friends thought that theres no way this philly tastes good, but boy did it. Great variety of food. Didn’t care for the Gyro, to me it was kinda dry, even bland. Asked for more sauce and they charge extra. Arby’s Gyros are much better in my opinion. Burgers are great.

Besides it taking FOREVER to get your food, whether you go thru the drive-thru and order or order on the app ahead of time and then go inside to pick up, (it always takes so long!!!) atleast the food is always good, hot, and fresh! So besides the wait times, everything else is great

The food was great, well priced, a little slow for a drive through. Ordered a couple of gyros. Delicious. Ordered, paid, asked to park while made, I eventually walked inside waited another 5 minutes and then received order. May have been short staffed that day. I will return.

The food was decent here. It definitely wasn't the best Salem's location I've been to however. When we arrived there was a pretty lengthy line of cars in line. The line was very slow moving, and when I finally get to the window the last asks to take my order 4 times. Finally a guy comes out with a tablet taking everyone else's order. From there the line moved decent. When we approached the window we were greeted very warmly and we felt welcome and felt the employee was very pleasant to work with. The chicken gizzards I ordered however, tasted as if they were rushed off the frier as the batter was still Wet and not golden and crispy. Food quality overall was good, food temperature and freshness was great. Where this location lacks in quality, they gain in customer service.

I went just yesterday and its has been awhile. I ordered a gyro it was not good,for ten dollars the gryo could have been better. The gyro only had a few slices of meat, no lettuce not enough sauce, I was so disapppointed it was not what I ordered. It will be awhile again.I would rate it 2 stars but the scallops were good. My first time being there, I was not sure what to expect. I walked in under the impression I was entering a Taco Bell or KFC, but the menu options are much broader, including seafood, Greek (I had the original gyro, absolutely delicious as well as the fries), and even some healthier options like smoothies and salads. The food was fresh and tasted wonderful. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was very convenient. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be returning. Only reason this isn’t a 5 star was because the staff was slightly unpleasant, not too bad though.

I usually like Salem's a lot but this particular trip my shrimp were overcooked, fish was perfectly cooked but not seasoned at all and I asked them to substitute the fries with rice and beans but when I checked the bag I'd been given fries instead. Wait time is usually longer so I was really happy to have gotten in and out but I'd rather wait and have everything done properly.

Let me first start by saying : I’m a regular; this place is convenient but I order online! The food is good bc it’s Salem’s. The trick here is to order online. The location of this store makes it quite concerning to hang out for too long (if you know about suitcase city this location is in the heart of it) all kinds of walkabouts in various states. So if your from out of town I hate to say it but don’t sit with ur windows down or doors unlocked. I would also skip the cod😌.

I am unfortunately editing my review, removing 2 stars. While the food is good, the staff at the drive-thru line is unfriendly. While trying to explain what I wanted, the woman was short and rude. She would cut me off and sounded annoyed to be taking my order. It's the same woman who has done this three times now. Sad to say I won't be returning to this location. Also, the very first time I came here, I waited at the drive-thru for two minutes and was ignored. I see this was a problem for someone else, as well. Honestly, I think you guys should work on improving your drive-thru staff.

The wings are well made. The sauce for the hot wings and mild is very delicious. I would strongly recommend it. Their fries are great aswell. As for as the cheese on the fries it could be tweaked a little but good so far.

The food was fresh and amazing but I’m only giving three stars because the portions are so small for such high prices I paid over 25 dollars for 2 meals with no drink just to have to pay for sauce . The meals didn’t feel us up . It felt like I ate a snack my 8 year old cousin was still hungry.

I was a little worried about this location on Fletcher Ave in Tampa, FL. But overall I had a very goid experience. Customer service was very friendly and professional. Food was good, I had grilled fish and shrimp bowl, my husband had fried fish & shrimp. This was 1am on Monday morning but I was really surprise with the service and food. Next time I will ask for extra seskning on my fish.

I went January 1 2020 , around 2am as you can imagine it was fully packed due to it being one of the very few places opened on New Years ! But wow the whole crew deserves a bonus to begin they greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in I was definitely not expected with how busy everything was lined wrapped around drive thru line just as busy but they still managed to greet me kindly , in addition their team work was absolutely outstanding the way they spoke to each other encouraging and letting each other know that they were doing good was truly inspiring they held the fort down got good ready managed to be super respectful to each other as well as to the costumers when I got my order it was fresh everything correct I literally have no complaints thank you overnight crew great way to start the new year .

Service here has went up tremendously within the last year. Thankfully they got rid of the staff who didn't care to be here and hire people who gets your order sauces right on the first time and give you more than 1 ketchup packet. Salem's is a great place to get wings! Gyros are awesome! All their food is fresh,fast & hot! We get gyro platters hamburger platters & their hot & barbecue wings alot! Their sweet tea is good too! The workers have always been polite. You can call & order your food to be ready when you get there. It's never been cold. It's always hot & ready to go. Prices are reasonable as well! Love this place!

Their mangoe milk shake was soooo amazing and the seasonings they used for their rice bowl was packed full of flavor, and the large fries were perfect! But I couldn't give 5 stars because the wings we ordered were all very hard. As in hard to bite and swallow, which was the deal breaker. None the wings were burned which made the fact that we could barely bite them because they were too hard a disappointment. But the service was fast and accurate.

Food is always cooked fresh for you, not a "fast" food restaurant as one would think or like if crowded or low on staff. Don't go when limited on time or if they are packed. If you have time, though it is worth the wait and your tummy will thank you for it! Try it out

Every time I go there, I'm met with excrement customer service. I recommend the hot lemon pepper wings(all drums for me) to wing lovers. Best place to get shrimp & they're deveined which is a plus to me. People are good and friendly but you have to be sure to ask for ranch or bleu cheese or you may find that you don't have enough when you start to eat.

The big bright sign out front says 11.99 for 20 wings and fries. They are actually 17.99 + tax. Eat here about twice a month. Almost always get the honey bbq bone in wings. I always ask for extra crispy. I would say 2 out of 5 times they are crispy. In all good food. Just fix the sign.

The lemon pepper bone-in wings are just like we wanted BUT the hot bone-in wings tasted funny and the person taking our order at drive-thru want listening very well. Just Say Cheese Steak! While returning from a visit to USF, i drove past this place a few times, so decided to stop. To my amazement the Cheese Steak put a real dent in my home sickness for a hot, deliciously seasoned, well portioned, for Florida anyway, Philly memory. I have tried other places in Tampa, that were good but prefer Salem's due to the seasoning on the steak. The salad is also good. Say yum, yum and then say Cheese Steak, with the works of course!

This is the only location that serves HOT FRESH food the other locations at East Hillsborough Avenue and the other one on 50th Street and Broadway Serve food that isn't FRESH.. I ordered the same meal at both locations (Gyro and fries) and those locations served me cold food.. I recommend the location on FLETCHER only for fresh food
