We got the fried oysters. So good. The crab boil with potatoes. It was good but I wish it was cooked in the sauce more like the potatoes n eggs. But I will buy again. The shrimp Alfredo was bomb. Enough for two even 3 people n they do not short you on shrimp. Place was clean. Staff was polite and friendly. We will be returning!

Love Riverside, been going there for years. I had stopped because of the price increase, but they made a slight change. So, I am dining there again. The staff is polite and friendly. Love the cooks, the food is always fresh and ready just when they say. The restaurant is always clean that's what I love most. Keep up the great job!

It says it has homemade deviled crab. It does, but it's not the usual deviled crab roll that you get in Tampa. It's round instead of football shaped and it doesn't taste anything like the deviled crab roll I was looking for. And it was frickin' $9. On the plus side though, it had plenty of crab on it, wasn't all breading like some are made, which explains the price. If you're really into crab it might be a good choice for you. If you're looking for a good Tampa deviled crab roll, this ain't the place. Also had the conch, again, not what I expected. Was expecting a piece of conch fried and served. I got a conch mixture, that included breading and green pepper and I don't know what else. No kind of sauce to go with it either. All in all I didn't enjoy the experience, however if you don't have any preconceived notions on what you're wanting this is probably fine. It was fresh and the crab roll did have plenty of crab inside.

This is for the Zephyrhills location which recently open. The food was absolutely tasty and fresh. I have to keep coming back. Everyone of the staffers are super friendly and courteous. The inside is super clean and inviting. Excellent food and great prices. Best seafood place in Zephyrhills for sure. Please check them out.

Oh my goodness!!! If you are looking for an up-to-your-elbow crab feast or a "I'm supposed to eat all of that?!" fish platter, then you MUST go to Riverside Seafood Market. Prices are excellent for the amount of food you will get. Everything was cooked perfectly. The biggest complaint from my group was there was too much food to finish it all. Great job!!

I had the shrimp and oysters, my wife had the shrimp and wings. Shrimp and oysters were lightly battered and properly fried - no hint of greasiness at all. Wings were naked with house wing sauce. All around good food, pleasant people and fast service. Would definitely return!

If you want some fried oysters, this is the place to be. The shrimp are small for the price. They are very heavy handed with the salt. Overall not a bad experience. Customer service was okay, no one looked happy to take your order.

Awesome seafood. Love the shrimp pasta with 15 nice size shrimp. That sauce was the bomb! Dish was a little spicy but I was able to stomach it since it was so good. There are also face masks being sold at this location by someone other than the restaurant owner. He has a good deal on them. What I didn't like was that tough garlic bread. If they change the kind of bread, it will be Perfecto.

Services is really fast. Had the whole snapper platter which was seasoned very well however, the size of the snapper is not worth the price. I also had a crab cake...stay away for it. There is no crab in the cake, it was all batter. Definitely not worth the $6.

The yellow rice and black beans here is very good. I no longer purchase seafood here because the price for 1 basa fish is $8 without sides, and it's cheaper at Fresh and Fun seafood on Busch blvd. The demand at Riverside is very high and so are the prices, unreasonably high. They sell half a corn as a side for $1.99, unacceptable! To whom much is given, much is required! They need to do better by customers who keep them in business!!!

The fried fish & oysters were good and the staff and the kitchen itself appeared clean. The rest of the place was dirty and condiments were only available pump style with tiny serve yourself containers & lids that people stirred around while picking out of a large open bin. I ended up throwing mine away because I couldn't convince myself that they were clean enough to consume. The wait was just 10 minutes, but the waiting allowed plenty of time to notice just how dirty things were, inside and out.

There is always a way even if you call in the order, but that is a result of the food being so delicious! Good things come to those who wait! The staff there is courteous and nice and the fish is cooked fresh right in front of you. Crab cakes ( I guess devil crabs) we're cooked right in front of me and was still piping hot when I got home. I've never bought the fresh fish there but it looked - well fresh. Fried fish is not the healthiest choice but this is a great occasional treat.

I heard a lot about this place so I made it a point to stop by and check it out. Needless to say, it was not what I expected. The prices were decent and the amount of food; however, the snow crab feast was lacking freshness. The crabs and shrimp were actually delicious and nicely seasoned. Unfortunately, the potatoes, eggs, and corn lacked the same freshness! Instead these items were old and disgusting in taste. We also ordered the cheesecake which wasn't very flavorful either.

Seafood was definitely fresh and delicious. Ordered the blue crab plate and 2 could easily share, maybe even 3. I don't normally dunk my lobster, crab or anything else in butter, but this dish had tons of butter and bay seasoning salt on everything. It was deeee-licious! It was on the rich side for me, but very good. It is best to do take-out, which my party of 2 ended up doing. There are only 3 booths and food is served in styrofoam with plastic utensils. Obviously not fancy, but good food. The place had a constant flow of patrons.

Wow! What a great seafood stop! It is a seafood market as well as a meal spot. There are a few booths and tables if you want to dine in. The employees are super friendly. Best sweet tea I have ever had! The seafood is so fresh! The fried clams are the best I have ever tasted. The fried items are not greasy and they are perfectly seasoned. Reasonable prices as well. I want to let everyone know that I am giving 3 stars for a 4 1/2 star restaurant . My husband and I ordered the fish and shrimp. The shrimp was good,great flavor. The fish was terrible, we ordered the Whiting and it was salty and very very fishy. Whiting is our favorite fish, we actually eat it often, but this fish was not the best. We also ordered a deviled crab EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! I all I can say. Equal to Seabreeze. Will most definitely buy again and again. I am sure today was just an off day for the Riverside Seafood Market. this place has great fresh seafood. I had the conch fritters and whiting. But as with most fish and french fries don't let them go cold. They have some sauces to choose from like tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The staff is friendly and conscientious. I almost received the wrong meal, but the cook spoke up. I waited about 20mins for my food and received a cold container and food, I I should of asked how long it will take for my order to be ready then again the workers should have done so💁🏾‍♀️ over all they did give me warmer food and the food was delicious, a little too much butter for me but that's just me overall it was okay in my opinion.

Bought dinner carryout here one night about a week ago, and it was top-notch. I got the Fried Shrimp meal with fries, cole slaw, and hushpuppies. There wasn't a bit of it I didn't like. The shrimp was a hearty portion and tasted delicious without any sauces or additional seasoning. This place's prices are extremely competitive and I will definitely be trying one of their larger group meals for the next time I've got company. I'd recommend this to anyone that likes seafood with out all the pretentiousness that comes with a place like Red Lobster.

Ive eaten at this place on average once a week for at least 5 years and Ive never had a meal I didn't enjoy or a negative service experience. I almost always get baked fish with rice, broccoli, or coleslaw sides. Ive tried the steamed crabs, really like shrimp scampi and shrimp pasta and only occasionally have a fried fish meal w rice& broccoli. Even though most of their meal options are pictured and advertised as fried and with french fries there are some options for non-fried food.

It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was delicious. Mostly battered and fried food. Generous portions. I recomend having them go light on the post frying seasoning. It was a tasty seasoning. Being pregnant and craving crabs led me to this place. It quickly became and still is my absolute favorite restaurant. I order using uber eats. They are always consistent and have great food! Today I ordered through uber eats again and my order had a mix up with rice instead of pasta. I called them for help, but felt very discouraged due to other uber eat restaurants being really unprofessional and rude to me before. I really didnt expect to be helped, but thought it was worth a shot. I was so pleasantly surprised when the eprson that answered the phone immediately got the owner. The owner was so extremely flexible and generously got me the correct order sent out. He was the epitome of professionalism. I literally almost got teary eyed (darn horomones 😋) because I already LOVE this restaurant, but I am a self proclaimed loyal family member now 😂 It felt amazing to be listened to and taken care of. It was a refreshing experience. This was the first time a mistake was ever made out of all of the times I've ordered and the owner handled it perfectly. I know that perfection does not exist but this place is pretty darn close ❤

It has been my experience that if you want quality seafood that is adequately proportioned to cost and reasonably priced, local fish market/ restaurants tend to have a competitive edge over specialty dining establishments that include seafood items on their menus. However, choosing one over the other is not without compromise. Ultimately a decision has to be made and there are several things that should be considered when making said decision. There are three components that help me to decide, Taste, Portion, and Cost. Taste is relative obviously, nevertheless, Cost and Portion are often dictated by the venue. For example; at a Red Lobster I can expect to pay roughly $25 - 30 for a meal containing a four ounce piece of fish (mind you that price may increase dependent upon market value). At that price point though, I expect a much more gratifying dining experience; particularly one the you might come to expect from a franchise of that caliber. Conversely, at a local fish market I can expect three times the portion size than that of Red Lobster but the dining experience is essentially limited to tedious seating accommodations. Riverside Seafood Market is the rule and by no means the exception. Nevertheless, what the establishments like Riverside lack in decor they over compensate in quality, taste, and portion comparatively speaking. Having said that Riverside obviously failed to win me over on the merits of their decorum, however, in their defense to expect anything more from a local fish market is simply unrealistic. Assuming that you love fish as much as I do, I can assure you, once you move past the ambiance the variety and the taste will effectively win the approval of your taste buds, stomach, and your wallet. I've been to Riverside Seafood Market a hand full of times and have always left a satisfied customer. This is actually my second favorite seafood joint in Tampa. I usually pay them a visit when my first choice is closed or they've sold out of my preferred dish. To date I've had their Smoked Mullet, Mullet Dinner, Fried Clam Strips, Fried Oysters, Fried Conch, and Homemade Conch Fritters. I am extremely partial to the Conch Fritters, in a word the are succulent! If you want great tasting seafood patronize Riverside Seafood Market.
