Excellent koobideh kebab. Truly mouth watering, cooked to perfection, I mean anybody who doesn’t like this doesn’t have taste for a good kebab will all due respect. The owner and staff have such kind service, the barberry in the rice is so delectable, and the tomato itself is so juicy. also don’t forget to try the mast o khair yogurt

This is a wonderful restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and at a reasonable price. The owner was very friendly and made the dining experience an excellent one. There's also a market attached that sells Persian groceries.

A million times yes. Owner is so kind and the shop is great! Everything Persian is sold!! I recommend the koobideh kabob, shiraz salad, baghali poll, and chai tea. The company is always great in here and the food is phenomenal. I am Persian and this food is the next best to the food in Iran.

Nice local place for Iranian food, part of a Iranian grocery store. Friendly service and good food. Beef Koubideh could’ve been better, on the thin side and marination was off, rice was not the premium fluffy Iranian rice. Although the barg was A+ could’ve used a bit more marination but the meat was great just right juicy and cooked to perfection. They didn’t provide any condiments onions, parsley, cheese as you would expect at an Iranian restaurant and no sauce.

Delicious! This is the place to get fresh, great quality Persian food. The owner is the nicest guy and the food is amazing! Top of my list! I drive an hour each way but it’s so worth it. Highly recommended!

Best hot tea in the area. Really good kebabs, sandwiches, and pita at a great price. The waitress there was extremely friendly and gave great service. They've also got a nice little Arabic shop right next to the cafe. I found some spices, oils, and canned vegetables I've never seen in any international market before. Really good study spot. If I was a local college student, I'd order the big pot of tea, get the combo appetizer plate, and just study in one of the booths.

Excellent service and welcoming staff. Food was delicious, tasty homemade food. The lamb was fall off the bone and the broth mixed with the rice was amazing. Their pita bread is soooo good. I will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu.

Persia House of Kabob is famous for its Kabobs. It's in their name. I've tried them all, and they are all great. I decided to try the lamb shank this time. It was delicious. The lamb was fall off the bone tender, simmered in a rich broth. The dish is served with seasoned rice with lima beans. Menu items range from $6-$16. A great place to go for a quick bite to eat.

I have come to Chicago for almost one year now, but I still have not found any place in Chicago that served the Persian cuisines as tasty as this restaurant has done. The food quality was not stable, though. Sometimes the basmati rice was yummy and moist, the ground beef and steak kabob were succulent and tender, but sometimes they were not. My most favorite order was their Famous Hummus with hot and crispy pita bread for the appetizer. Then, for the main entree, a dollar extra for the Tabouleh salad instead of the side house salad, Soltani Kabob with Basmati rice, grilled tomato, two skewers of well-done Barg kabob and Koobideh kabob, seasoned, flame broiled, and grilled onion on the side. My girlfriend loved the Lamb Shank with some fresh squeeze lime juice so much! Delicious! A cup of hot black Persian tea with Persian sugar cubes to wash down all of the protein was divine and unbeatable. The restaurant used to have a buffet every Saturday night with lots of option, but they called it off. They usually had only one staff working for both grocery and restaurant section so that the service might be slow during peak time. It did not matter to me so much as long as the food was tasty. No one has complaint ever for a 45 minute waiting for just one Lou Malnati's famous deep dish pizza in Chicago. The owner, who came from Shiraz, and the staff were friendly and helpful, though. I have learned quite a lot about Persia from them.

I am visiting this place for more than 10 years and...it is becoming better and better with time : more variety, more healthy choices, prices are very affordable and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The staff is usually attentive and helpful. Love it !

Great food but not such a great service. They also have a persian supermarket attached to this restuarant but has no cashier so you have to pay for your things when you make a payment for your food.

I went there for lunch . My friends and I were greeted By a very nice gentleman called Mahmood. We received fantastic service from him. The appetizers arrived shortly . Everything was fresh tasted fantastic. The Kebobs arrived shortly after and they were cooked to perfection. I had Persian ice cream for dessert and it was made in the restaurant. What a treat! The whole experience was FANTASTIC 😊

Love their Kubideh Kebabs. It's a great place to shop in their market too. Get tea, sweets, spices, quality Avocado oil and Olive Oil. They have a frozen and refrigerated section too. My family and I have been coming here for so many years. We all love it.

Very good food! Service was a little slow, but still very freindly. We will definitely be back. It is clean place with great prices. You will not walk away hungry that is for sure. One of the best tabouli salads I have ever had. The beef tenderloin kebabs were very tender. We also had the combo appetizer which had hummus, eggplant and stuff grape leaves. Everything was fantastic!!!

My husband and I stopped by for lunch. The food was very tasty and fresh. The owner is a nice man, who chatted with us for a while. They also have a little grocery store where you can buy specialty Persian and Middle Eastern products. Glad we stopped by!

My wife and I went on a date to this restaurant and we liked it a lot. We like to experience different cultural cuisines and we were very pleased with this one. The food was very fresh, the flavor was great, and the price was reasonable. The cooked tomato was so juicy that it's refreshing. It was the first time that I tasted long rice like that. It was very soft and had a distinct flavor. The art inside the restaurant was very unique. We definitely recommend that you experience this restaurant. I can't imagine how any one would give this place less than 4 stars. The Lamb Shank w/ Basmatti and Dill Rice is phenomenal. The Chicken & Sirloin Kabobs are likewise fantastic. Patrons that are leaving bad reviews either have an axe to grind or they have a mud hole for a palette. I've been multiple times and get great service with great tasting good. The portions are more than adequate. As to the review that claimed that they only serve the good cuts of meat to "their own kind", that's about as rude and bigoted a comment as could be made about a business. From my experiences the staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. I will return. Just a side note, if you order the sirloin just make sure to specify how you'd like it cooked, just as you might do with a steak.

The place is very outdated but please give them a chance!! DELICIOUS food!! We had the Jujeh (Chicken) plate and the beef and koobideh plate and both were wonderful, juicy and cooked to perfection. The rice was so good, fluffy and well seasoned. We had one plate with the house salad and the other with the cucumber yogurt salad, totally delicious. The bread they serve before your meal arrives is sooo good and it’s warm and toasty but soft. It is as if a pita bread and a na’an bread had a baby. REALLY GOOD! The bathroom was a bit scary (but clean!!) and the whole store very outdated 😅 but the food was so worth it! No pic because I was really just starved to death when I finally got here. I’ll be back!

My favourite hummus ever! Lemony, smooth and tastes less salty than many commercial brands and yummier than other restaurants I've tried it at. I swear I could eat a bucket of it and I hope the recipe never changes. Also, love the pita which reminds me of Trinidad sada roti--yum.The chicken jujeh is always so moist, well-cooked and tasty when I've had it. Those and the shirazi salad are my go-to items and they are yet to disappoint me. I've never had Persian food before this place but I love those items that I usually get.

Great place for authentic Persian cuisine. The food is great, the service could use some work though. The Kubideh Kabob is my favorite in Tampa by far, nothing comes close to the authentic Persian taste/texture and juiciness. Again in the DC area this would be considered a 3 - 3.5 star review, however comparatively speaking I am giving them a 4 based on the food. If they can fix up their service, this might quickly become a 5 star joint.

This was the first time I've been there. There's a Persian grocery store that is connect to it. I wanted to introduce my friends to Baklava, and Halva. The waiter sat us oh, and asked us if we want tea with our desserts. The desserts were great, and the T was delicious. I looked at the menu. They have many traditional Persian and Indian dishes. They all looked wonderful. This is a great place to bring your family, or just as a night out for friends.

Food is pretty close to authentic. A few elements are not made in house; appetizers. Rice is well made but dry. Meats are well cooked and a little under seasoned. With a few changes this can definitely be a 5 STAR! Well priced for portion sizes.

This is a good local place for Persian food. The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly. I enjoyed the kebobs as well as the delicious hummus. They also have a little store in the back where you can buy supplies to make your own recipes at home. Only two negatives I could speak of. The air conditioning seemed to be turned up rather high, and there were people wandering outside the restaurant waiting for customers to come out so they could ask them for money. Makes you want to look for another place to eat. Recommend the strip mall hire an evening security guard to chase away non-customers, because the food is worth returning for.

One of my favorite local restaurants. I always get the beef and chicken combination plate with rice and tomatoes (joujeh koubideh). It's awesome! There's a nice little shop with specialty items for sale as well. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. I'll be back soon.
