Ordered through Uber eats and was NOT disappointed. I love this style of pizza and they followed my note to perfection. I've had a lot of problems with places overcooking the pizza and this one came out absolutely perfect. Also the staff left these little notes and I appreciate it so much. Definitely made my night a bit better. <3

Super bowl Sunday, we figured the bars would be busier than they are, Nope this place is a ghost town. So we came to Mama Rosa's pizza to have a zone,and get out the cold. Watching the game and eating hot zone ...😁 rode right by it bit knowing they took out the meat roaster front the front window. Threw me all off.😂🤣 prices are just right for ybor .

Drop in! Delicious pizza in Ybor, very fresh and honestly I couldn't ask for anything more. Well, besides Parmesan cheese. I couldn't find it anywhere! They had the red pepper though so cool. Like I said, this cheese pizza was good, it was freshly warmed for me in the oven and it hit the spot. What more do you need? Served on the finest fine china plates too. Ha!

Pizza is delicious. However we ordered the special* large cheese pizza and 10 wings for $19.99. Also ordered a 2 liter of Pepsi. Received a large cheese pizza and a 2 liter and was charged $28.99. Never received the wings. That’s one expensive cheese pizza. Good pizza. Just feel like we got ripped off. We understand mistakes happen. But when we made it apparent we didn’t receive the wings to our delivery driver... he said sorry and still charged us for the wings. Oh well.

When I went there, the ingredients were one of a kind and fresh. I love the cheese pizza! And the pieces are so large. The chicken wings with mild hot sauce and blue cheese is worth trying. Their cheesecake is also very heavenly!!! Can you say YUMMY???? Their delivery service is standard and I also got extra food with my purchase free of charge. It's just a way of them saying thank you to the regular customers. I find their prices to be very reasonable and affordable. These people work very hard everyday and especially on the weekends. I suggest that if you receive a delivery from them, give a nice tip for their efforts. That is all I have 😊😊😊🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰

I don't know what everyone is complaining about in these reviews. I've had this pizza 3 times now and it's been great all three times. They do a decent job of crust work, the sauce is mild and proportionate to the slice, the toppings aren't the best quality, but it comes together well. It reminds me of a dive pizza place that you would find off the beaten path. my only complaint would be the garlic knots. (To the restaurant) let the dough rise and reach room temp before you fold, butter and season. It lets the dough get a crust when it's baked and keeps the inside moist and airy. right now they're a little doughy, not from being undercooked, but from not being proofed and risen. other than that, keep it up.

I see that some people gave 1 star just because they are not even capable of being responsible for holding their pizza and dropped it. This place is small and very crowded especially after 1:30 am every thursday, friday and saturday. So please consider it before blaming the staff for not giving a free slice. You can always ask other customers who hit you accidently to buy you a new slice, but staff does not have to do that.

Surprisingly good. We stopped in here on a Monday night around 9:30pm. Everything else in Ybor was closed so we decided to try this place. One slice was enough to get me full. They offer beer and pizza. What more do you need? They had quite a few options for pizza toppings. I would definitely go back.

Three stars for just the pizza. Had it delivered via UberEATS wasn't bad. Did not have a delay, a lot of people apparently do. Do not order the calamari it came as more of a salad. I guess I should of figured to not order the calamari from a pizza place, I risked it so you do t have too.

Very thin, but crispy. Pepperoni was delicious, from Italy or special, it wasn't plain hormel or generic. Flavorful pizza! They also have many options. Wish it was colder inside, but they're open to the street and have giant ovens, so it's understandable

No raw dough, no extra "tipping" done to my card, (i checked after reading the reviews) and i can tell you, i am in pizza heaven!! i wish they had 1 of these in NC close to me so I could gorge everyday!! I tried the 42nd pizza with no mushrooms due to allergy reasons and I cannot tell you how wonderful delightful it was to taste how wonderful broccoli can be on a pizza! my next best favorite is the margarita. OMG!!! The only problem is, 1-i cannot eat a pizza so large, and 2-i am glad i did not order the xl like i had originally planned.. I would be eating pizza til the cows came home! great fast service, got the same delivery guy twice and he was friendly but not creepy, which is always nice. Pizza was not greasy or bland which is so nice! I didnt ask for a thick crust, but they made it not so its breadlike, but palatable and that to me is more than 5 star rating. Not everyone can handle the idea of a pizza being thick crust and not making it into a thick bread like substance that drops the tastiness of the overall toppings. All in all, I was very lucky to have 3 great things to remember Tampa by for my very first visit! Been to Orlando, Miami and the Keys, but never here, but I will remember this trip for a while because of all of the good things that happened. This pizza is what will be making me come back from time to time on mini personal vacations for the rest of my life.

The pizza was really good but they gave themselves a tip from my debit card. I read and signed a slip that said 7 dollars but didn't bother filling in the total or the tip because we were in a hurry and bought the pizza to go. When I looked online on monday, I was charged 9 dollars instead. It's not a lot of money, but it's really creepy...especially when I put a 5 dollar bill in their tip jar.

This restaurant pulled through for me and my brother when at 2 am we were starving and needed a delivery to our hotel after a phenomenal but tiring concert. I accidentally gave the adress of a different hotel 30 minutes away, and by the time it was corrected the delivery man got to our hotel at around 3:30 am, passed closing time. An Ybor City staple serving up fresh giant NY slices hot out of the oven. Their new authentic chicken gyros are a welcome addition to the late night weekend menu. They also have pub fare, beer, wine and a tiramisu that's worth the calories. The low price just makes you feel better about yourself. This is simply great local food in a humble setting.

Pretty surprised at all the negative reviews, but then again people in Tampa think that traditional Italian food comes from Domino's pizza. Our staff has been ordering from Mama Rosa's for the past year and have only had one issue out of 22 orders. The pizzas, calzones, and strombolis are all above par. The dinners, especially the Eggplant Parm is worth giving Mama Rosa's a try. Delivery is fast and efficient... every single time.

I'm guessing because the doors are kept open that cigarette smoke is coming in from outside from the people who hang outside and I'm allergic to the smoke so I had to cover my face with my t-shirt so I wouldn't have allergic reaction. I actually had to move all the way to the back of the restaurant to try to keep from smelling a smoke but it still didn't work.

I love their food!!! We do stay a bit far from the restaraunt and they are usually busy but the food always gets here hot and yummy! Staff is never rude to me even when I call back 20 times to see if they are close. You have to know that they dilever very far from their site but I think they do the best that they can! The longest I hhave waited is about an hour and a half! Worth it in the end!

The Pizza here was ON POINT! The line was a little long, but typical for a late Saturday night. Food was out quick and the quality was awesome! I left super happy with my choice of pizza here! Give this place a shot!
