We found this gem after hanging out at the beach. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious! We will be back...many times in the future. P.S. The prosciutto wrapped scallops are amazing. <3 Try them if you go there!

It was my first visit to this restaurant. We were about to go to another restaurant n finally decided to go to this after seen this place. It was a Friday night n live music was there. It was so beautiful with the decorations. I ordered “LLC Famous Lobster Roll” for me. It was good n for me it was not super delicious. The server was perfect on that night.

Enjoyed a great Valentine’s Day birthday lunch in the nice outdoor dining space that was cozily heated, festively decorated and very clean and Covid safe. Robert, our server, could not have been more pleasant and attentive, and was especially kind to the elderly member of our party. My lobster roll was delicious, and he even comped me a generous slice of yummy key lime pie. Although it is not inexpensive, Lucky Lobster is a good value and a great experience overall. We tried this place on our friends recommendation... Dinner for our 32nd Anniversary! We arrived early evening and it wasn't too busy. The server greeted us quickly and professionally! Asked for our drink order and delivered fresh rolls. Appetizers were ordered and delivered quickly! Calamari was really good with good dipping sauces, prosciutto wrapped Scallops were very good! Lobster Bisque was very Flavorful, a little Sherry would have been a nice touch... Bar Drinks were just okay... Our dinner order arrived at the perfect time! My wife had the Lobster Roll with fries and the kale slaw... all just okay and kinda dry... The Seafood Linguini was good!! I tried the Seafood Special that night, which was "Trigger Fish"... it was good! Overall, most of the food was good. Just nothing was outstanding,, and sadly didn't justify their prices .....

Five stars for the drinks, food, and esp the staff at this place. Our waitress was totally awesome, and helped me pick a cocktail (which I then drank two of!). The lobster roll was worth the price, IMO. I’m not sure if it’s typical to put lettuce on it down in FL, but I’ve not had it that way before. Not a big fan, but it was easy to just pull it out of the sandwich and move on. My husband had the seafood linguini dish and he loved it. Ate every bite! We will def look forward to coming back if we ever travel here again. We had friends that tried it on another night also, and they too loved it. Highly recommend.

Good food. Good music and a fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the place is comfortable. We really enjoy this place every time we visit Dunedin. Right off the pinellas trail. Kind of a weird name but it is worth the trip. The manager goes out of his way to make you feel at home.

Came especially for the oysters and lobster, high expectations due to stellar reviews but was sadly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, lots to like, live music, friendly service, and a couple of dishes were great. Especially the prosciutto wrapped scallops and the seafood pasta. But, the lobster, not... First try was overcooked and dry, immediately replaced with a much better but still mediocre especially for the restaurants signature dish. Overall a decent place just disappointed that the seafood wasn't great.

The food was soo good. Ryan our server was AWESOME. I have a food allergy to fish however I can eat shellfish. She made sure the kitchen staff was aware of my allergy. She suggestd that I didn't order the fires because they fry them in the same fyer as the fish. I had a side salad instead. I will be back for sure.

Lobster roll was delicious! There’s two ways you can have it prepared and if you don’t want it on bread you can get it wrapped in lettuce! 😊🦞 it is a little pricey but still good! Service was great as well!

On a whim we drove over to Dunedin. Did a quick search on Trip Advisor, and no idea there was a lobster restaurant this close by. They were very accommodating, the wait staff was amazing, and someone (either wait staff or hosts) checked on us every 10 mins or so. I opted for the Connecticut roll, and unbelievable amount of lobster. Also had the grilled octopus, highly recommend both! We will be back!!

A great date night spot. They have a fun coastal atmosphere, weather permitting sit in the deck for sure. We enjoyed the live entertainment on the patio and like to watch folks come and go from the trail and breweries around Dunedin. Four of us were greeted, checked out the bar briefly. We were then seated with freshly made cocktails on a busy Friday night in 15 minutes. We enjoyed the Octopus appetizer, it was honestly the best we have ever had! 🐙 The fried oyster appetizer was fabulous too, with clearly fresh oysters and a crunchy light batter. Our drinks were good, we didn't order anything on their specials, just basic cocktails. My girlfriend and I ordered one of each of the Lobster Wedge and the Lobster Cobb salads ~$34. 🦞 The Wedge was very good, but next time I am going for the Cobb it looked so nice. The Lobster meat was so plentiful I was giving entire claw meat pieces away. Neither of us finished the salad or the meat which I am estimating was about 6 claws worth somehow! The men ordered a fish dish and a giant lobster roll warm. The guys finished their plates, both looked super yum, especially the roll. We will be back again the next time we are graving lobster.

Great al fresco dining right next to the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. The calamari appetizer really stands out. Finding them the first time and parking are the only issues that we have had. The live music this weekend was very nice.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The New England lobster roll was delicious! The side salad was fresh and fries were crispy. I enjoyed my dinner. There was entertainment by Those Meddling Kids, which was great! Not only songs I knew very well and enjoyed but also originals! The music was performed so well and the couple on stage were very talented. I recommend Lucky Lobster Co. for a nice evening of fine food and entertainment.

Awesome as always. I always get the Lobster roll (cold). My sister was visiting from out if town, and she ordered the warm version. She said it was equally as good. Recommend the oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. Even if you don't like raw oysters, these are so good! Lobster bisque is also delicious. They offer a wide variety of excellent cocktails (plus wine and beer too).👍👍👍👍

Amazing experience. The waitress treated us unbelievably with great service in a fairly timely manner. The food was phenomenal. There were six of us and we all were sharing each other's dishes with each other. Make sure you get a double order of Mussels. Oh my god. Also try the warm lobster roll. Don't forget the butter.

My daughter and I dined at the Lucky Lobster Co after catching a ballgame. We were hot and a little pooped out and just wanted cold water and a place to relax and eat. The Lucky Lobster Co was everything we didn’t know we wanted. The patio was spacious and we were seated on a busy Sunday afternoon without a wait. The waitstaff was attentive and quickly brought us some cold water. Since this was our first visit, the staff patiently answered all of our questions and told us about menu items that we didn’t ask about. We ordered a crab cake to share and I ordered a lobster bisque. Both were perfectly sized and delicious. My daughter had the lobster Mac and cheese and I had the LLC Famous Lobster roll. Both of us were pleased with the taste, freshness and size of our dishes. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Ate at The Lucky Lobster Last night. Everything from start to finish was incredible. Party of 2 we had Lobster Bisque, Grilled Octopus and Crab Cakes. For entrees Blackened Grilled Mahi Mahi , Connecticut Lobster Roll. Awesome Service This was an awesome dining experience from start to finish. Food, Service, Atmosphere all were great .Excellent job Lucky Lobster!!!!

The service is always excellent, the wait staff is very knowledgeable of the menu. They are attentive and friendly. The dining area is informal, quiet and comfortable. The food is always outstanding. Calamari and Grilled Octopus are definite favorite appetizers. Lobster Rolls, Blackened Grouper and Lucky Lobster Linguini are fabulous entrees. Also, the Lobster Bisque rivals the best anywhere. Definitely recommend!

It was so delicious!! I had the salmon with the veges and mash potatoes, I have to say that it was the best salmon I have had EVER. My husband had the lobster Mac and cheese and he said it was very good. We both had the lobster bisque and that was very good as well. Everything was great, the food, the service and the ambience. I highly recommend the lobster pot pie. It is beautiful and delicious. It is not a simple pot pie but a complex combination of puff pastry, cream sauce and lobster. The owner is always friendly and greeting all guests while the live music is usually pretty good.

First time eating at Lucky Lobster. We took my elder parents for dinner which it had a great atmosphere to have a conversation with them. Also, easy entrance to my father who uses a cane to walk. The staff was excellent and waiter was very helpful on food recommendations. We will definitely be returning.

Great seafood place with super friendly staff! It was our first time there this evening and we had the best experience. We had a steamed lobster, lobster bisque, seafood scampi, and key lime pie. All of it was amazing! There was live music outside and hockey playing inside.

Best lobster roll around! It comes with fries (regular or sweet potato fries) and their special house made coleslaw with granny smith apples. We went on a Wednesday and sat on the patio, they had a jazz player that was excellent.

Want great seafood in Dunedin?? LLC is the place to be!! The menu is full of great seafood with wonderful flavor profiles and each dish is prepared with tasty additions. The scallops wrapped in prosciutto are paired with a wonderful seasoned butter. The mussels swim in a garlic butter sauce that will have you begging for more bread to enjoy every drop of it. The raw bar items are great, and the main courses are phenomenal. The signature lobster roll is perfection and is filled over the bread with huge chunks of lobster. And if the food wasn't enough to have you coming back again and again, the service from the staff is quick, friendly and always right on par with your needs. Ask for Jade as your server, and you will never be disappointed (even though the rest of the staff is just as excellent). In summary, when you visit the beautiful area of Dunedin, you must stop at the Lucky Lobster Company. You will understand why the Lucky one will be your taste buds.

We went at opening time on a Tuesday and it was wonderful! Such a cool place and sat on the patio which was lovely. The service was great and the food was even better! We will definitely be back one day. Our server wore a mask the whole time and they are following protocol if you are worried about that. Definite 5 star place!

New England transplant. One of the biggest staples that I miss the most is New England seafood. And the hardest thing to find is whole belly fried clams. When I found out that the Lucky Lobster Co. had them I had to try them. My mom and I ordered two baskets of the clams, the Oysters Rockefeller and the fish and chips. I'll start the oysters, they had good flavor but were a bit gooey. I think they need something crunchy added, maybe bacon bits. The whole belly clams were great but not what I'm used to. I know this will sound odd but they were to clean. None of the guts and sand that hold all the flavor were present. Don't get me wrong I'm sure I'll order them again. The fish and chips were amazing, flakey haddock, perfectly cooked fries and fresh kale slaw. Other than the slaw I thought I was back north. I did love that slaw too, though. Huge fan of an apple kale side. The service was also amazing. I wish I could remembered our servers name because I would love to give her a shout out. Overall I was very impressed and will definitely be back.

Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, service was very friendly. Great live music, cool atmosphere, and a great view of a spectacular sunset from our table under the outdoor awning. Could also watch some pro ballgames on several screens behind the bar! Totally win-win. Pricey, but for a splurge evening out, totally worth it!

We went here for the first time. The food was ok, nothing special, and pricey. I got the lazy man lobster which was kind of overcooked and tough, soaked in butter, for $41. My boyfriend had the tuna which had no flavor at all. Our server Thomas was also mediocre. Overall, this place is too pricey for the quality, service could be better, but we will not be back.

I decided to do curbside pickup and it was worth it. I had the lobster and shrimp quesadillas and Mexican street corn. So good!! Even when I went to pick up, the inside was very nice and they also have an outside dining area with heat lamps just in case. The hostess was very friendly. Overall, my thought is, give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.

The prices are outrageous but the food is delicious. The music acts will put you to sleep or give you a headache, so that’s a bummer given how many great local musicians we have in Dunedin. All of the food was absolutely great. They had live entertainment on the Friday night. Wilson was an excellent waiter. Wilson never let my sweet tea glass get empty. My Connecticut lobster roll tasted like I was back in Providence. Their signature coleslaw is absolutely the best I have ever tasted. Not too hard and not too wet, just perfect. I had the octopus bites...OMG!!! You must try this. It is very savory. My wife had the Shrimp and scallops. I was about to steal more, but I needed my hands to finish my own food...😁. We had the key lime pie. It was very good and made in the kitchen. You could tell it definitely wasn't store bought. The atmosphere was wonderful as we were sitting outside in the covered patio with a nice cool breeze. They practice social distancing and every member of the staff is wearing their masks for the safety of everyone. The manage came by to also check on us. It looks like they are expanding their patio. The only issue is the parking and the wait to get in. Get in early because you don't want to miss out on this wonderful dining experience. We arrived right before the rush at 6pm on Friday. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Lucky Lobster Co.

Good quality, fresh food and very solid service. Price point is a bit high but they do reinvest that money into the food. The wings were a bit too sweet. Grouper was outstanding. Lobster roll was excellent. Crab cakes were decent.

Always a great meal. Had Blackened grouper tacos with mango, lobster bisque, and bacon wrapped sea scallops. Devastatingly awesome! Even the French fries were hot. As sure a guaranteed home run as there is in dining out! Great job! As an even greater thing, the bartender waited on us and she was tremendous!

A waiter, Sharon M went over and beyond last Sunday! After losing my phone and finding it on iphone "find my phone" - once I returned home 4 hours away, I called the restaurant and Sharon had it. She was going to make a facebook post to the local area to see if anyone had lost their phone on Sunday! She immediately informed me she would mail it to me! Good people still exist in this world!! I can't wait to visit her and sit in her station upon our next visit to Lucky Lobster!! This town had my heart but now really has it after Sharon's good deed!!

👍🏻👍🏻 2 thumbs up for this new place in Dunedin! Great location, brand new, clean and great service. Large patio with lots of fans available for outdoor seating and live music on weekends. Even though it’s a seafood place there’s no fishy small at all which is so refreshing to see. Raw oysters were so fresh, the clam chowder delicious and the lobster pizza good size and very tasty. The lobster tacos were very good too and my husband had the blackened grouper and jasmine rice with truffle oil. Excellent restaurant to check out with high quality fresh seafood. The only problem like everywhere else in Dunedin is the parking so go early for dinner.

I founded this place while in Dunedin and was surprised at how good the food was. The lobster ravioli & grilled octopus was delicious and my wife enjoyed her butter lobster roll, the only drawback was it size. Will revisit when I'm in the area.

I didn't eat here because they had closed 15 minutes prior; however, the hostess went way out of her way to tell us what restaurants were still open and then walked us to the road to show us the fastest way to get to another restaurant. I was amazed by the service after they were closed!

I live in Dunedin and I've read reviews about this place but never visited because I've always heard mix reviews. I finally decided to give it and try and I was highly disappointed. This is truly for tourist restaurant. Over priced and the food is not great. The waitress recommended the Lobster Pot Pie ($25) and Shrimp & Lobster quesadilla($19) and both looked delicious. The pot pie was not good, it was very runny on the inside. The quesadilla was average and not worth $19. The waitress offered to replace the pot pie and we got a burger instead. The burger was good. Tourists probably give it a 5 star because of the outdoor seating and live music. I wouldn't visit in the near future.

A bit pricey for not a lot of lobster... fantastic service overall and I really liked the in/outdoor atmosphere. Colin was a great server. (: $24 for a CT lobster roll would've been fine, but I sorta expected it to be loaded.. which it was not. My fiance got the $20 lobster/shrimp pizza.. and again, unfortunately searching for the lobster (there were a few pcs of shrimp, but not enough for the price!!). I had really high hopes for this place considering we're originally from New England. I will consider going here again, but I will shoot for some cheaper options.

Atmosphere is cool. There was live music tonight (Friday) and it was actually good and not too loud. My server (nick) was awesome. Had sangria and lobster Mac n cheese. The food and drinks were good. My only complaint would be that there wasn’t much lobster in the Mac ncheese

Outside bar and restaurant and restaurant are rustic. Inside portion has a more upscale feel. Atmosphere inside is nice, the music and decor are tasteful and the service was decent. My cold lobster roll with fries was good but seemed a bit pricey. I guess $22 for a full lobster roll is reasonable.

Worth the price! The blackened salmon ceaser salad was phenomenal. The salmon was cooked to perfection and was a nice large portion. Superb flavor. In a party of 6, we all agreed our meals were fresh and delicious. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to love this place. But the hospitality details are just not there for the price they charge. There was no mention of our anniversary even though I noted it on the Open Table app. The hostess was not tuned in, the server was nice but poorly trained. The pacing of the food was extremely slow and disjointed. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The server was not allowed to sample a taste of the special wine we brought, even in the back. That screams low class to me. Just none of the little touches you would expect when you pay these expensive prices. The food was uneven. The appetizer Calamari was really nice, and the Caesar and Spinach salads were fresh and well prepared. But the star of the show did not show up. The Lobster Roll was very small and tasteless and cost $42 and the asparagus was stringy and woody. Gina remarked that the lobster tail I get from Publix for $9. tastes much better. We probably will not go back even though the location is convenient. Bummer.

Amazingly delicious. Yes, they charge more than a burger joint. Totally worth it if you’re a lobster fan. The lobster tacos were awesome; consider asking them to hold the tomatoes, as they can over power the lobster. Lobster pot pie was excellent. Lobster bisque was the star of the show; I was concerned about the price, but it’s a huge portion, with lots of lobster. Excellent meal, will definitely eat here again!

I always give credit where credit is due . I found the lucky lobster by googling restaurants in my area .. I love seafood and have been a regular at a few places for years .. this is a “ new “ place for me and nothing short of phenomenal .. I had the mussels which were fantastic, then the lobster bisque which was off the charts good .. then came the octopus salad .. which I will tell you I have eaten octopus all over the country .. this was by far if not the best .. definitely in the top 5.. try it out it’s in Dunedin Florida a fantastic destination for a day trip .. you will not be disappointed..

We have been here 5 times now and absolutely LOVE IT! Every detail of this restaurant is flawless. Firstly the food is out of this world! All sorts of seafood, not just lobster. To name two favorites: The Lobster Mac & Cheese has whole claws mixed with a combination of perfectly blended cheeses. The Clam Chowder is a pairing of bacon or prosciutto, not sure, with clumps of clam, scallions & finely diced potatoes. Always served hot and fresh. The service is above and beyond. Every server we’ve had has been excellent. Each are courteous, informative and prompt. We have had great experiences when a couple on date night, with a large party of friends and bringing our 1 year old daughter. Each time we have visited a manager has stopped by the table to ensure we’re having a spectacular experience. LLC is by far the cleanest restaurant I have visited. (And I have worked in restaurants around the Tamp Bay Area for 7 years.) They offer mainly outdoor seating, but also have an inside area with air conditioning. There is live music outside every day of the week. Twice on the weekends for lunch and dinner crowds. Sunday through Thursday 4-7pm Happy Hour $2 off ALL bar drinks. And new food specials every day. (See attached photo.) I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment. We absolutely will be back. (No this is not a paid ad. I just like to write and especially about businesses that deserve praise.)

I was so excited to go there and try their lobster roll we usually go to DJs on the beach but decided to try here. We both got the lobster roll and Mexican street corn. The lobster roll was half the size of DJs and never had Mexican street corn off the cob. Was not impressed with any of it. For $74 + tip you would expect better service. Our server didn't check back on us once. I had to wave her down to bring us drawn butter. The coleslaw was amazing. To say that we won't be back is an understatement. She never offered to refill my drink and only came at the end of our meal to fill up my boyfriend's water. I don't know if she judged a book by its cover but we're bikers and probably thought not a good tip idk, but I'm a server/bartender and tip super generously. I didn't for her though. They were not super busy and there were at least 7 or more servers that I counted. Lobster was not as tender as I would've expected. I could've overlooked the food because I wanted to try this place but the service was horrible. Never said her name and genuinely looked like she hated her job

This is our first time here and it is now my new favorite place in Dunedin! The lobster bisque was probably the best I've ever had just the Right Touch of sweetness with a good amt of Lobster in it. The purse you do wrapped scallops were very large very tender cooked just right served over a bed of arugula with a lovely season butter absolutely beautiful and the Lobster Pot Pie was a wonderful! flaky crust cooked just right,a light crust, huge chunks of Lobster in it vegetables cooked just right and a lovely sauce. Also a very nice wine beer and cocktail menu tons of outdoor space live music just a wonderful venue we will definitely be back.

Called first made reservations Sharon the manager took our reservation and was very nice. We arrived early and were sat down promptly. Our Server Molly was nothing short of amazing. She greeted us explained all the daily specials brought out our drinks then took our order. The menu has a lot of wonderful selections and she did not rush us at all. We ordered calamari and lobster bisque for appetizers. For our entrées we ordered the seared Ahi tuna, lobster mac & cheese and Lucky Lobster linguine. Calamari was so good but the star was the lobster bisque it is a must have it was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The Seared Ahi tuna we ordered rare and was simply the best cooked perfectly full of flavor and served with veggies and mashed potatoes. The Lucky Lobster linguine was undescribable so many flavors in the sauce they cook it in it’s just amazing all the seafood so fresh the clams the lobster the shrimp the mussels worth every penny and I have to say the portion was very large. My daughter had the lobster Mac and cheese and that too was spectacular. For desert we had the chocolate Tres Leche and it was so so moist and dripping in the sweetest cream we had ever tasted. Best ever. Overall just a great dining experience. 5 stars all the way Definitely worth the drive from Tampa Bay Area. Bathroom was very clean

The food is awesome! You know they get it right when they can nail fish and chips. However, I can only rate them three stars because food only gets you so far in the restaurant business. The manager was very rude to her staff in front of guests. I don't care how busy a night it is, you don't snap at your staff. Ever. Period. They are your backbone and without them your restaurant would fail. Luckily the waitress shrugged It off, still kept a positive attitude, and even defended her when I told her I did not like the way her manager had snapped at her. That is the definition of a good employee. Lucky lobster, I wonder if you know just how lucky you really are. 🦞

Food was good but not great. We had lobster rolls, crab cakes, pie Restaurant was pretty clean, I had to wait awhile to use restrooms because there was only 1 restrooms on each side of restaurant. Waiter was nice but felt more like a sales person then a waiter but maybe he just really loved everything on the menu. The coconut pie was pretty good. The restaurant was nicely decorated. I would try it again buy for $36 a lobster roll I would have to love it. Overall ok experience!

I went to Lucky Lobster to pick up my triathlon race information l. I had never been before. Sunday after the triathlon and a day on Honeymoon Island, I thought I'd try it out. Have eaten here several times, the food it pretty decent and arrives in a timely fashion. However we've had a few experiences where we've gone there in the early afternoon and had a difficult time getting seated when clearly many tables were empty. The maitre de was not very nice and she basically said if you had no reservations you would have to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes to get seated. This made no sense being that was closer to dinner time. Regardless she needs to work on her attitude and explain maybe why they couldn't be more accommodating. After all other places exist close by.

My husband and I met with friends to have a good dinner here. We all got different things and but were all pleased with our food and service. I got the shrimp and lobster quesadilla and it was good, but could use more seafood. My husband got the beef tacos and was very please. Another in our party got the crab cake and was pleased and another got the shrimp and scallops and said that they were okay and another got the lobster bisque and another appetizer and said it was okay. The prices were okay for what you got, but as I stated some of the dishes were a little skimpy on the seafood ingredient.

If you are into eggs Benedict this is your place. They don't skimp on the lobster they add to the Benedicts, and their sauce is just right on. Lobster rolls are great, especially when paired with their homemade fries. Their local beer selection on draft is excellent. They have outdoor live music and the overall environment is pretty inviting. After a colossal meal, simply go for a walk around Downtown Dunedin, and enjoy the small town feel. You can't go wrong with this place. Thumbs up!

Rode our bikes on the Pinellas Trail from Largo to Dunedin with the full intention of stopping somewhere directly on the trail for a small bite and beer. We chose Lucky Lucky Lobster Co b/c there was live music, people enjoying themselves outside, and we could easily store the bikes and watch them. Ordered 2 Blue Moons and a 10" lobster shrimp aioli pizza with gouda cheese. SOOO GOOD!! Perfectly filled us up for the trip home. Tables were being cleaned constantly by waitstaff and they were very friendly too.

Loved this place. The food was delicious. We had a Connecticut style lobster roll, the BLT lobster sliders and the wedge salad. The Lobster roll was fantastic but the BLT lobster sliders were even better. The lobster was tender, juicy and plentiful. The staff was also very nice and offered great customer service. We had Fish & Chips and the Fresh Catch Sandwich. They were average. The coleslaw was and interesting mix and quite tasty. The fries were coolish and soggy. The craft beer from Tarpon Springs and the red Sangria were the best part of the meal. Prices a bit steep IMO. Very clean establishment with both in- and outside seating. The outside is covered and there are plenty of fans. We were comfortable. Out server Chris was excellent.

Lucky Lobster is a fine place to get dinner despite being a bit loud and conventional in the approach to the dishes. While I would not call it touristy, it certainly fits the bill of a nice enough place to go when on vacation in Dunedin. They are generous with the berries in their red sangria, which is a plus.

Lucky lobster used to be one of my favorites. I love the live music and food. They changed the location of the stage to be across the restaurant away from the bar, which is where i happened to be seated, so I wasn’t as in to it. The food was underwhelming too, but I didn’t get my usual so I am unsure if the overall quality has changed or if it was just the meal i chose (grouper tacos). The service at the bar was good though.

It has a very strong seafood menu which out of a party of 8, 6 of us did have seafood. The food was really good. The service was great, the live performance was a nice touch. The scallops wrapped in prosciutto were good and to be honest there wasn't one complaint other than one in our party someone did order a burger who said it was good but the fries were under cooked quite a bit. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Will say it is quite a bit pricy, dont know if their aged 14oz steak is worth 40$ but thats an idea of what you are sitting down to.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat lunch after enjoying the beach. We were seated outside in a very nice covered area with large fans keeping us cool. Server was pleasant and helpful answering our questions regarding the menu. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Good food but, my opinion, the prices were on the high side. Over $100 for four meals (fried shrimp, fries, slaw/shrimp tacos), one appetizer (6 shrimp in a scampi type sauce), one soda, three waters. The "slaw", as the menu calls it, was actually a kale and apple type salad, and we all thought it was very good.

My husband and I loved dining here for Valentine’s Day this year! Atmosphere was fun, food was delicious (highly recommend the lobster roll!) and service was exceptional. Very nice place. Great covered outside seating. Oysters were very fresh but half of them were on the small side. Husband had Philly cheese steak sandwich with mixed veggies and slaw. Meat was a little dry. Would definitely return but would try something different.

My better half and I went to Lucky Lobster on the way back to our hotel last night for a few drinks and to grab takeout. We were seated and greeted by Sarah (our waitress) who was absolutely AMAZING! She explained the specials, popular menu items, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing but I can honestly say we will be back for the service received! I highly recommend this place and make sure to ask for Sarah!

Wow. First of all the service was phenomenal, Desare was super friendly and very attentive but so was the support staff! The lady that sat us was nice and multiple other servers helped to pre-bus the tables so there was never a dirty plate. The food was fabulous but that’s par for the course 2/2 times I was very impressed by the taste of everything (we had lobster bisque, the Lucky lobster linguine, and the lobster mac & cheese). I highly recommend the lavender lemon drop, too. The portions on both meals were good and with the soup my husband and I both took home leftovers. Finally they had a wonderful live musician and I can’t tell you how thrilled we were by the whole experience because that’s what it was, an experience. We still dropped a bill on two people for dinner and drinks but I plan on doing so again and again if they keep this up. Give it a try because it was well worth the second visit and they’ve earned every return. Nothing but wonderful things to say! Thanks again, Tom. *previous review* I had a poor experience and emailed Tom about the details of it, he called and left me a voice mail. I didn’t get back to him with work and the holiday weekend but he persisted and not only continued to reach out but insisted on sending me a gift card for the previous unfortunate experience so I’ll definitely be back and need to commend their customer care because I never called back, he didn’t have to be as good to me as he was. I’ll update the last star on the next visit if it is as good as I hope it will be!

This was a fantastic first experience! My mom and I came out for dinner for my birthday! Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. There was a live musician who was great that added to the ambiance of the establishment. The service by staff was top notch. The food was incredible. If you ever have the opportunity to try the seafood-tini, I'd highly recommend. Chelsea's customer service was exquisite. And to top off the evening, the staff surprised us at the table with dessert singing happy birthday. (Which they took note from the reservation.) As we were leaving, many of the staff gave more birthday wishes. Kudos to the staff, management and establishment Lucky Lobster Co. You have a fan for life!

Well we live in the area and have been here several times over the years. Today was my birthday and was trying to find a nice outdoor venue with good seafood. We had reservations for 5 pm on Friday of Labor Day weekend. Was my birthday. Seated right away on outside patio. Waitress was awesome/ thanks Desirae!! Also kudos to staff who were all masked! Ordered fried clams as an appetizer. Aside- we are from New England and know good fried clams! They looked good but were so chewy were like rubber bands! Had to spit a few into a napkin as could not chew! Plus batter was not tasty. Not worth $15! Did mention to waitress but no offer of compensation. No problem. Was interested in their fish and chips- advertised as haddock. Asked if fresh and told the fish “arrived” fresh, but too inexpensive on Menu to dare try as fresh. A very nice blue cheese wedge salad was shared by hubby and I. Decided to share to lobster and shrimp quesadilla as I usually have good luck with that. Was decent. Think over rated in general, and pretty pricy. Many good reviews, but if you know good fish, hmmm?

It’s been awhile since we have been to Lucky Lobster in Dunedin. For no other reason except life getting in the way of a good time. We went for lunch/brunch today. We were greeted immediately and decided to sit outside even though it was a bit windy and chilly. Collin our server was absolutely the BEST! He was informative about the menu, beers, cocktails and always asking if we wanted the shutters closed because of the chill. We ordered crab cake appetizers -out of this world delicious (no kidding). Fish n chips enormous and tasty and the Shrimp and Lobster Quesadilla was extremely brimming with flavor and chunks of seafood! If you haven’t -GO-if it’s been awhile -go again-put it in the rotation! We loved it!

Perfect place to grab a meal after catching the sunset at Honeymoon Island State Park. The lobster roll is not quite on par with something you would get from Kennebunkport or Portland, but it was pretty good. Calamari was phenomenal. Fairly decent beer selection. Outdoor seating and live music create a wonderful atmosphere. If I lived down here, I would be here weekly.

I'm not an experienced seafood person, but I can normally understand why you pay a premium for good seafood. For example, I've eaten expensive snapper and immediately understand what I was paying for while eating it compared to cheaper options. For the cost and portion of this lobster roll, I didn't really understand what I was paying for compared to what you can get at any number of places in the area that serve lobster rolls. So, if you're a lobster connoisseur, you may get something more out of it but to me as a casual seafood eater, I think you can get similar options for much more understandable price/portion in the area.

With so many fish like-restaurants, it’s hard to stand out. The price was a downer but my husband and I gave them a chance. Omg it was delicious. They meanie some of the best food I ever had. Their tacos are amazing. First you taste the sweet, then the savor, then the salt and spice. None of the flavors overtook the others. It was balanced, refreshing and a delight. Hand cut fries, and Crab Cakes were great. Everything was great. They really care about their food and worth the price. High recommend!

Even during these strange times, lucky lobster is amazing. An incredible menu with lots of choices. The team there was excellent from the front all the way to the back, great service, great attitudes.The food was delicious, all of it from the crab cake appetizer’s to the main courses of shrimp and scallops, lobster mac & cheese, and the steak I was told, was delicious. Don’t know what took us so long to go, but I’m glad We did and we will definitely be back. Those Meddling Kid on stage definitely was an added bonus to the night, With great music and wonderful harmonies. Lucky lobster is not to be missed When you are in Dunedin.

My husband and I have been here several times. We really like to sit outside at the bar and order the Baked Clams and other apps. Since we moved here over 10 years ago we really don't have a favorite place we like to go. We decided this is it! We like the atmosphere It reminds me a lot of California where we moved from. The service is great. The bartender brought us the wrong appetizer, we didn't care we ate it, it was delicious, but the manager noticed this and brought us the other appetizer we ordered without us bringing it up. That is really cool. Even though we sit at the bar its upscale and not like a typical Florida "bar". the food is very good.

We've seen this place when riding bikes on the Pinnelles Trail & finally went with friends for supper. We found the place to have tables 6 feet apart with no crowding. The food was delightful, the service top notch & the Owner, an Irishman - Tom Murphy, actually came to our table to ask about our experience ! They even had live music that really added to the ambience! All in all, we have now found a favorite restaurant to enjoy over & over.

This place was so good, we visited it twice while in Dunedin. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was great and friendly. The lobster pot pie and lobster tacos were VERY delicious! The mussels appetizer was fresh and so tasty. The lobster roll was excellent! We also enjoyed the calamari and crab cakes. The atmosphere was comfortable. The restaurant was clean and bright. This is a must if you are in the area and worth the trip if you're not!

Great location, the restaurant was clean and cool on a hot day, they had lots of fans going and the outside AC units were on and that made it very comfortable. The price was right and the ambiance, and location on the rail trail are perfect for walk ability in downtown Dunedin, and because it was truly very good food. The service was excellent. The hostess was very pleasant. Bring the family and bring your friends. Even have enough room for a party or two! Nice spacious outdoor bar.

LLC has been “our restaurant” since moving to Dunedin from California (2017). We love the atmosphere, the staff, the menu/food & drinks, the music, the dogs on the patio....everything!!!! But, on our last visit, the roof had been extended over the newer outside patio. With this, a choice of sitting in the sun under an umbrella is gone, a bit of charm is lost, and, unfortunately, the music is so much louder as it bounces off of the ceiling. We will still return as loyal customers.

Best lobster roll we've had since Reds in upstate ME! If you know Reds (google it)...then you will absolutely love this! We sat outside and it was very comfortable and clean/new looking. Service was impeccable; you can tell that the place is well managed. The lobster bisque rivaled our favorite (in FL) that we have had for years...we never thought we would find someone who actually adds enough sherry! This bisque was perfect, but if Chef dropped a piece of claw meat in the middle...I would pay extra! Great night out...see you soon!

We sat at the bar. Lots of roofed patio space. There is indoor dining as well. There were a lot of people but it didn't seem crowded. There was a musician (singer/guitarist) playing on a small stage. He was playing covers like Buffett, Eagles, Tom Petty but he played the less typical covers so it was familiar but not boring. Now...the food was delicious. I had lobster bisque. I've had better but also a lot worse. There was a lot of lobster in theirs. It was a little heavy on the Old Bay (at least I think it was Old Bay) Next I had the Blackened Mahi with mash potatoes and mixed veggies. It was delicious! All were prepared perfectly. The veggies were not mushy. Perfectly flavoured and cooked fish and mash taters were perfect consistency. Nice selection of wines, beer and full bar. Finally our bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, welcoming, professional with the perfect amount of attentiveness.

I got the CT style lobster roll. It was ok, but could tell the meat was likely frozen and not fresh. A little dry and chewy. Definitely not like fresh steamed lobster meat. A bit overpriced at $25. The fries were soft and soggy too. The kale and apple coleslaw was good! I asked about shrimp tacos at first but they use imported shrimp so I didn't get that. I feel seafood restaurants should use local caught! Why import the shrimp when we have better shrimp right in our backyard. And they'd be supporting the local fishermen and fisheries. Their prices are high enough that they can use local caught shrimp! Just my thoughts!

Went for dinner this evening. Food was very good starting with the lobster bisque, crab cakes & chowder complemented by entrees of fish & chips, lobster mac and cheese and blackened scallops & shrimp. Our service could have been better. Ronald greeted the table and informed us of the specials then quickly left without asking if we were interested in any drinks. He returned with water for the table and asked if we were ready to order. We placed our food order and again he quickly left. We had to stop him and ask for cocktails. Appetizers came out hot and delicious however one of my pet peeves is auctioning off the food 🤔I just don’t understand it. As we enjoyed appetizers Ronald refilled our water glasses constantly and was there to clear the plates. What seemed quite a long while was the time waiting for the entrees. And again when the entrees were delivered the staff auctioned off the food. One member of our party’s dinner came out a good 5 minutes after the others. The manager did not stop by our table even though he was in the area 3 or 4 times checking on other tables. I can say overall the food was great and service ok.

Excellent restaurant right in the heart of Dunedin. The fried calamari with the side sauces were outstanding, the garlic shrimp was very tasty, the lobster bisque was superb. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean, vibrant and a friendly staff is always appreciated. Lobster tacos, blackened grouper tacos both are generous servings with hand cut fries. Their hand cut fries are out of this world and they serve a side sauce similar to a spicy mayo that was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Clearwater area and is looking for quality food. Good customer service is always a positive and they do not cut any corners.

Been here a few times and I continue to find the service to be exceptional. On 2 occasions out of the several visits, the wait staff or management has stepped in to make sure the meal was above expectations. They really paid attention to the table and what we were enjoying and what needed more attention. Mind you this was never done because we complained, in fact we never complained but the staff was intuitive to our level of satisfaction. You can't teach this stuff, I feel management is hiring the right people and empowering them to make the right decisions for the customer experience. Thank you for once again going above my expectations and taking care of a member of our party last night! I will be back and I am telling all my friends how well you cared for our experience!

We have been a few times and have been happy with our service and food choices. The restaurant is smaller inside and has more outdoor (covered) seating but beware it can be difficult to find a table on a busy night. The service is always friendly and at a good pace but you do not feel rushed to leave. The tuna poke is absolutely amazing and we want to order every time! The lobster roll is really good and served both ways - mayo or butter based - so as to appease either traditionalist. The live music can get a little loud when sitting outside on a weekend night so be aware of such if that type of thing bothers you.

Second time here and sadly we had the same female bartender. She’s only friendly to people she knows and is a totally different person to those she doesn’t know. When she brought out the lobster roll we commented about the butter not being on the side. She said they changed it and now put it on it. We were only here a couple weeks ago. We personally would like it on the side so we can dip the lobster into it and put the amount we each desire on ourselves. My French fries were cold and I made a comment...I know she heard me, but never did a thing about it. Thankfully there was another female bartender there with dark hair....she took them in the back and brought me out hot crispy fries like we ordered. Unfortunately my lobster roll was cold too. My husbands food was warm (not hot) at least. The unfriendly bartender did not ask how everything was until my husband finished eating. He told her about the my cold food and she said “they came out together!” ! For $49 for 2 sandwiches you think they’d come out piping hot with hot French fries and butter! Too bad the other bartender was so busy doing work as when she was behind the bar she was awesome and took care of us! She served my husband a drink (after sitting there without one for quite some time) even though the other bartender was right there. Thank goodness for the dark haired bartender or we’d still be waiting to checkout as the other girl was busy talking to people she knew....again. The food was better last time as it was served hot with hot butter on the side.

We only stopped to check out Lucky Lobster. The parking is limited, but seating appears to be quite adequate. The menu is on the expensive side, but maybe that is to be expected for lobster dinners. The staff seemed helpful. Not sure whether we will actually eat there or not.

Visited on Saturday night for the first time. 7 pm reservation...host was smiling, pleasant and accommodated our request for indoor seating after we spent a day on the beach. The food was phenomenal 😋 and reasonably priced. If you decide to go please have the Mexican street corn which is so fresh that it is taken straight off the cobb. You should also try the lobster-tini with shrimp, lobster and mango. I had the lobster 🦞 linguini with clams, shrimp 🍤 and a white wine sauce that was absolutely delicious. My husband had the Grouper with steamed vegetables which was also fantastic . We had a half dozen of oysters with this hot sauce that have your mouth burning. But my Paloma cocktail was the best because it had a taste of jalapeño 🌶 and it was not hot. Our service from Amelia was impeccable 👌 and she made some great recommendations. We will definitely return because its a hidden gem away from the beach.

The service here is great, but what's really amazing is a special poke bowl appetizer they have. They may not always have it or have enough because it's so good that they run out quickly, but if you're fortunate enough to eat there when they do have it, please order it. It has tuna, mango, and avocado all mixed with a ginger sesame sauce I believe. And it has wonton chips to scoop it up with. It's the best thing they have in my opinion!!

The tacos were good and the shrimp are jumbo sized. Wished the tacos had more flavor compared to other places. Appetizer which was the scallops with prosciutto was amazing! Highly recommend that appetizer.

Nick our server was excellent at his job. The scallops wrapped with prisuto were awesome. The grouper was fresh and meaty. The sauce and veggies complmented it well. The wife said the shrimp was some of the best she has ever had. If you call grouper pricey at $25, then you are looking sub par grouper. Please go, I know we will be back.

OMG!!! The food is great! This is the only place that has the choice of New England or Connecticut style lobster rolls...😋. The seafood is delish! The octopus bites came out perfect that I couldn't use the dipping sauce to mess up the flavor. Where else can you get a seafood lobster pizza with real lobster bits on it...YES!!! They practice social distancing and we always bring more people when we come to dine in. The wait staff is a coordinated team that makes you the priority. Thank you for excellent service. The Connecticut Lobster roll exceeded my expectations! So much lobster per bite, almost seem too much, but seriously NOT complaining and I LOVED every bite! Fries were perfect and very lightly seasoned and staff is very friendly. We loved it. Had lunch today before we left town. I had the wedge salad and ahi tuna. Salad was cold and crisp. They didn't skimp on the blue cheese. The tuna was fresh and the eel sauce was spot on. We ate at this establishment twice in one week. The first time, on Monday night, the seafood pasta and grilled octopus salad were divine. On Thursday we went back to get our seafood pasta craving satisfied but the food was not as fresh. Many of the mussels did not open, the shrimp had a weird taste and the lobster was barely recognizable. The calamari also arrived cold. When the waiter came 20 minutes after to enquire about the food, we told him. The duty manager was defensive insisting that the seafood is brought in fresh daily and that we ate most of it. Although she tried to offer up dessert, we declined. A phonecall to the lead manager, Tom also resulted in more defensiveness. He repeated the claim that the seafood was brought in regularly and that he would investigate. This is too unfortunate and an example of very poor service. I would have gladly returned had he only meaningfully apologized and demonstrated gratitude for our business.

I flew in last week to visit a friend, and we randomly stumbled upon this restaurant when searching online. The experience was so wonderful the first time we went- we ended up going multiple times during my 4 day visit! I got the Maine lobster the first time and lobster tacos the 2nd time we went. I thought the prices were very reasonable, the portion sizes were generous, and the food was expertly prepared & extremely flavorful! The service was also amazing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond for the guests. It felt like home there. My friend felt the same way too. This will be our go to dining spot when I come visit!

I had the seared Ahi tuna, which was very good. The fresh vegetables served with it were also excellent. My wife had the lobster pizza and we both had the same reaction to it; if that's what you like, I'm sure it's very good. It was fresh and a distinctive dish. Unfortunately, neither of us were huge fans of it. The service was also very good; attentive and prompt without crowding us. Overall, I thought our meal was a little expensive ($9 for a bowl of lobster bisque) but the ingredients and preparation were high-end so maybe that's what quality dining costs these days.

This gem has lots of delicious seafood and Lobster dishes to choose from. Start with the Lobster and Shrimp Cocktail, which has the seafood, slices of fresh avocado and mango salsa. The Lobster Roll was perfectly cooked in melted butter and lusciously filling up the top cut roll, just like it is served in New England. Full Bar allowed the addition of a sparkling wine - must have bubbly if you eat Lobster! With live music and glorious Florida outdoor dining, Go try the Lucky Lobster Co. some evening!

Parking was tricky, there isn't much parking in the lot, and no neighboring lots for public parking. But WORTH IT. I had the blackened grouper, which was firm, flavorful, and fresh. The sauce was amazing! My husband had the bacon cheeseburger (Lucky Burger, add cheese and bacon for $1 each), and he loved it. Friendly service, too! Has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the night we were there featured live music, so the vibe on the patio was great. Recommend!

I heard about this place through people in Dunedin, The reviews look solid through online, went in tried it. There are a lot selections on the menu but a huge glaring hole, the menu does not state what dish gets what side or if you can pick a side or not. I had to ask the waitress about it. Got the main course, their sides are a very small for the price you pay, the fries were super small and burnt and the corn was like 1/4 of a cobb. the waitress also never brought the bread with our meals. The prices are outrageous, you can go to many other seafood places for better prices and better quantities.

Ever since I noticed this place being built as I enjoyed the Pinellas Trail, I couldn't wait until it opened. The decor was inviting even through the build out. I stopped in recently for a quick beer and to take a peek at the menu (included in my images). The staff was friendly, it wasn't happy hour at the time so the draft beers we had were $4ea. During Happy Hour everything is $2 off. My wife and I thought the atmosphere would be fantastic at night, so I'll be heading back for dinner soon.

I started going here during the pandemic since it was one of the few places that had outdoor dining and music. I feel relatively safe since the tables are farther apart than most restaurants, they use QR scan menus and the staff has worn masks from the beginning. The food is very good, albeit a bit pricey with a limited menu selection.

Food and service were excellent. We were advised when we arrived that apparently they were short staffed in kitchen. The hostess seemed reluctant to sit reservations even though there were open tables unless people pointed out the open tables. Our waitress prepared us for the delay in food prep but it wasn't that bad really. I really felt so bad for her as she apologized profusely to us for delays. Lobster Mac n cheese and grouper were amazing. I will recommend highly and visit again.

Wyatt's demeanor and customer service is beyond superb. He's doing the work of two bartenders like it's a normal thing. This guy is phenomenal.🤗 Denny Dwyer is playing now . A new place in downtown Dunedin. I arrived via Bike on a Sunday about noon. Good food, not huge but good selection of beers. The service was great. As a new place they sometimes seem to be working out staff scheduling and will turn you away at the door if they dont think you will have a great experience. due to being understaffed. I give that an extra star. Stop by and give them a try for lunch. Enjoy the large outdoor seating area.

Great location, right on the Pinellas Trail. Pleasant, open ambience. The servers were also pleasant, but there was some miscommunication regarding which one was supposed to be serving us. (Two servers trying to serve us is better than no server trying to serve us.) But nothing was a cut above a typical downtown Dunedin restaurant experience in terms of service and ambience. Regarding the food itself, the Connecticut-style lobster roll my companion ordered was tasty, but pretty expensive (even for a lobster roll, and this one was very small). Tasty, but not a good value. Same with the lobster ravioli and scallops with prosciutto meals of my other companions - tasty but small portions with high prices. As for my meal, I ordered the margherita pizza. It was again tasty, but was a much better value than the other meals. So for the relatively high price, you can get good seafood at small portions with good but not great service in comparison to other downtown Dunedin restaurants. I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars but went with 4 because it's a good restaurant, just over-priced in my opinion.

First time I've tried the char grilled oysters and I'll definitely be getting them again soon. They are delicious. The cheese is light and adds just enough flavor without overwhelming the oyster. They were nicely warm and dipping them in the butter is tasty. I liked them without the butter too. If you even slightly like oysters this fish is worth a try and if you love oysters it's a must try.

Visited this spot over the weekend. What a gem! We were a party of 4, had a lobster roll (huge and delicious), shrimp tacos (one of the best my girlfriend had and looked delicious), and 2 burgers. I had the lobster burger and it was honestly the best burger I've ever had. The burger was cooked to perfection and my god was it juicy. And the lobster was delectable. Now to the best part, the sangria. We shared a pitcher of sangria, or make it 2 and it was perfect. The staff was courtesy and very prompt. Will be back and definitely recommend it to anyone in the area or anywhere close. A+++

Went there for lunch, the calamari was delicious and not fried to hell and back like some places do it. The oysters (both Rockefeller and raw) was amazing, definitely a place to go If you like oysters. I had some grouper for my entree that was probably one of the best pieces of grouper I've ever had. The other two in my party had the 1 1/2 pound lobster and absolutely loved it. Our bartender (joey) helped us with recommending both drinks and food he thought we would enjoy (he def was not wrong) and made the experience enjoyable. The staff that we talked to was having fun and joking around with us making it even more fun. If you haven't i would definitely stop by and try it.

What a good decision, we all agreed that it was one of the best pizzas we'd ever eaten. Blackened grouper tacos were nutz and the Connecticut style lobster roll was nothing short of heavenly. I attend a social hour with my Toastmasters group every Tuesday, the staff at lucky Lobster treats us wonderfully. They remember our regular drinks, always have space set aside for us. The atmosphere is relaxed, the renovation and upgrades are top-notch. The menu has a lot to offer as well a combination of New England Seafood menu and local seafood offerings. Excellent craft beer menu. The location is right on the Pinellas Trail, making it easy to walk to as well as right in the heart of Downtown Dunedin.
