One of the best Italian food we had so far in Tampa . They have a very good vegetarian options. Staffs were really friendly. We had Bruschetta,whole wheat pasta pomodoro e basilico arrabbiata, Fettuccine on the parmiggiano regano wheel and Tiramisu! Bruschetta was soo fresh and tasted amazing, pasta both arrabbiate and fettucine tasted soo good, also fettucine was prepared on the parmigiano wheel in front of you which was a new experience for both of us and last but not least tiramisu was super delicious! Definitely it would be our go to Italian spot!

We loved our meal here! The wine selection was great. The anti-pasti appetizers were delicious. The meat was so fresh and the garlic bread so tasty. The table side pasta in the Parmesan cheese wheel stole the show! It was delightful to have the chef and owner share thoughts and insights on Italian food as he prepared it. We took dessert to-go because we were full, but I am sure the tiramisu will be just as good as everything else. You must try this place if you love Italian food! It is such a hidden GEM! I cannot wait to return!

I saw this on TikTok and just had to try, we could make are mind up about the awesome wine selection so our waiter offered us samples because we wanted to buy a bottle. To celebrate 5 year anniversary, the vibe felt like we were actually in Italy the lighting was on point was very romantic setting, the owner came over and she made us feel very special offered us a complimentary dessert along with some amazing cookies omg they were so good. Food was amazing I had the shrimp with blackened Alfredo pasta and sauce and the hubby had lamb it was worth every penny yummy I’ll definitely be back

TL, DR: I’m almost angry I have to eat other food. This place is a gift. It is exquisite and precise. There’s no flavor that could be added or subtracted. Everything is so fresh it’s like they harvested the food for us and then cooked our orders. We had eggplant rolatini, fettuccini Alfredo from the Parmesan wheel and chicken piccata, then tiramisu to finish. Mara provided excellent guidance on the wine. The service was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Everyone I met seems to be really in love with the food and the teamwork. I don’t think I’ve had a better meal in Tampa.plan

I was at “casa de la pasta” recently for my birthday. I love the fact that the owners are very involved at the restaurant… pasta wheel was my favorite! Only constructive thing I have to say is that we waited for food a long time. Waitress forgot our drinks (she was probably new), food was good but not to fall of the feet.. overall nice experience. Dessert was amazing. I had the oreotermiso was delicious. Oh and the soda comes with a pasta straw! That was cool!

We arrived to the location about another before closing and welcomed to be seated at it’s a smile. We were seated at a lovely cozy table with a romantic candles and brought a very large menu. It had a lot of options which all sounded great. The writing on the menu was very small and even with my glasses, it was hard to see. We ordered Fettuccine Carbonara And Ravioli DI Formaggio Alla Vodka, both options were fantastic. The sauces were super yummy and full of flavor and we finished everything however, wake up the next day super swollen due to the amount of salt. I would say try the food and deal with the consequences lol because it was good.

Update: Seriously. This is the best Italian outside of Italy. Every single time we come, we are blown away. Our absolute favorite meal is their lasagna. #chefskiss My husband will argue that the oreomiseu (their home made oreo tiramiseu) is the best item on the entire menu. We love it! Last night we also had the cannolis which were also very good. The owners continue to be incredibly welcoming and involved. Also, their staff seem to love them and they truly feel like a family. Initial review: Incredible. The service and food were both exceptional. We started with bruschetta, buratta, and prosciutto. We then got the chicken milanese and a wonderful thick spaghetti type pasta with pepper cream sauce. We then ended the meal with their oreomiseu which was divine. The owners are incredibly involved and were a delight to meet. We love Italy and this is the best Italian food we have had outside of local Italy. The ONLY disappointing part was their sangria. We will be back!

Probaby an off day for them on visit.. $40 osso bucco was not "fall off the bone" .. server not attentive.. eh.. seemed only 3/4 full. Has a lot of promise and good reviews just not for me on my visit. Was hard to get the meat off the bone so decided to stop wrestling and just take it home. 🙄 small little foam clamshell and plastic baggy was not best presentation to end the experience. Again Im sure it was an off-day and perhaps some unknown distractions.

As one of my father-in-law's favorite restaurants I was excited to finally give them a try. The La Casa della Pasta restaurant has been a staple in this part of Tampa for many years. Despite its many young, attractive, servers, the restaurant itself is a little dated. The inside dining area is small, intimate, cozy even, with candlesticks in wine bottles adorning every table. The bar is unused as a seating area, leaving 3 tables nestled right up against it. The areas are clean and it is obvious the staff is well trained in the care and cleaning of the restaurant. The menu consists of classic Italian dishes in every category, seafood, veal, chicken, antipasto's, soups and, of course, pasta. One thing you notice, regardless of the dish, is that it is from fresh ingredients, prepared freshly, and with care. Their marinara is a prime example of simplicity done right. Bright red, seasoned gently and appropriately without any unnecessary improvisations. Their wine selection is large and well thought out, offering variety for all tastes. As for the actual flavors and preparation, it is fair, not the greatest I have ever had, but certainly not in the bottom of that list either. The freshness of ingredients and care of preparation aren't enough to elevate the dishes to a next level, but for good, homecooked Italian it's a solid place to eat.

First time here and it was very nice. We had a nice date night dinner with dessert. Wines are interesting and varied. She had a seafood dish and I had veal. Tasty gourmet meals without the chain restaurant overkill of salt and garlic. Refreshing and fun. We'll be back soon.

My husband and I have driven by this place a few times and I always talked about how I’d like to try it. We finally had the opportunity to stop in and we have no regrets. It was a bit more fancy then we were expecting and luckily we went in on the earlier side and they allowed us in without a reservation. We did see them turn down a lot of people after us without reservations. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant was truly Authentic Italian food. Pictures don’t do justice to how good the food was. If your looking for Italian food that isn’t like a chain feel this is your place! Also, my husband didn’t know what type of wine to get so the owner gave him samples of 2 recommendations she thought would be suiting to what he was looking for/pair well with what he chose to eat and also explained the back story behind each wine. Amazing experience.

So we have been looking at this restaurant since it opened . But tonight was our first time trying it. WOW!!! I have dined at all of the high end places in Tampa and this is on the top of the list , if not the best!!! Being Italian myself and knowing what REAL Italian food is like, this was amazing! Great food, wine and atmosphere. One of the Italian restaurants in all of Tampa. Sometimes we feel a little rushed. Multiple waitresses. Hard to get a second or third glass of wine lately. That’s pure profit. Even when there isn’t a line feels like they want to turn the table over. Not overly relaxing for customers.

Been here 3 times now and the service and food is phenomenal. Some dinner entree portions can be a little smaller than what Americans are used to, but after some wine and dessert, you’ll leave stuffed! Tiramisu and dessert wine is a must! Also really cool to see a vermouth by the glass. Definitely a hidden gem in Carrollwood. I don’t agree with many of the bad reviews about owners being snobby, I’ve never had an issue, they seem very nice. When short staffed (like all hospitality is right now) you will find them working their tails off in there alone trying to take care of everyone. Will definitely frequent for some pasta!

If you haven’t been here. I highly recommend. Wonderful Italian restaurant with a great ambiance and a beautiful couple that run it. They are from Italy and give you the most wonderful experience. When we entered she cautioned that they were busy and a little backed up and might take a bit of time however we felt very attended too and never felt like we were waiting. We are big foodies and my gosh every single bite we took was better than the last. I got the lasagna and had a “princess sauce”. Melted in my mouth. The portions are large and I could only eat about half so they boxed it up for me and maaaan does it taste better than next day. Everything is from scratch and made with love. The chef, Franco(co-owner), came out and told us we had to save room for dessert because he created his own take on a tiramisu, an oreomisu. If you have a sweet tooth this dessert was created for you. This place is amazing and if you don’t get a chance to eat here I feel bad for you. ** I hadn’t read the reviews and all the low star people are wrong. We are young couple(mid twenties) and never felt any hostility and felt this place was very welcoming to us. And I wish I can comment because obviously these people are horrible and don’t know what it takes to run a nice restaurant.

So happy we found this place. Last night was the second time going. Our table got the vodka ravioli (delicious), tortellini (omg this was my favorite thing for the night). We also got the gnocchi (prob my least favorite of the table but I like white sauce more) and the risotto with shrimp (pretty good but the tortellini was by far my favorite). Forgot to take pic of our food. We cleared our plates. Last time we went I got the truffle ravioli and holy moly I dreamt about that a while It must be rotated in the menu bc I didn’t see it last night.

Food was delicious, atmosphere very family oriented and owners go out of their way to make your experience perfect. This is a very kid friendly environment. I have a 13 and 15 but while we were there there was a family with babies under 3 and the staff was very kind to them and accommodating. This is a piece of Italy in my backyard and we will be back for sure

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, (with my daughter, to celebrate her upcoming voyage to her first year in college), to a fine Italian restaurant in North Tampa by the name of La Casa Della Pasta -Tampa For those not in the know, this is a small - quaint restaurant decorated in the traditional Italian way. Candles on the tables, art on the walls, dark colors etc. The couple who own it (Mara and Franco) are from Northern Italy. ("The Langhe in Piedmont, located in the northwest of Italy") and they opened this location in Tampa in 2017 - Maria is front of house and Franco is back of the house. Each plate is cooked to order and attention to detail is apparent (just as it would be in Northern Italy). The extensive menu made choosing a dish quite a task, but my daughter has always been a fan of Calamari so we started with... Calamari Fritti as our Antipasti. The rings were consistent and very lightly fried in olive oil. The calamari inside was delicious and very very tender, as it should always be. - We were of course provided with a bread basket and other accoutrements (Parmesan tarts) prior to the Antipasti, everything timed to account for the cooking time of each course. Entree time... and my daughter chose a dish she is familiar with from other ventures to Italian restaurants. "Penne Alla Rustica" (Homemade penne pasta, chicken breast, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, onion and Brandy Sauce.) - Apparently the sauce was significant because my daughter was quite impressed with the flavor of Brandy in every bite. My choice was A bit more adventurous. "Vitello Mare E Monti" Veal scallopini, asparagus, crab meat, fontina cheese, and a chianti glaze reduction. The veal could be cut with a fork and the entire first bite practically melted in my mouth. The fontina cheese was melted over the veal fillet and under the crab making each bite an adventure of unctuous tender goodness. I paired with a glass of Merlot and the dish was served with a side of pasta and steamed vegetables but the veal was the star. For dessert (We ordered dessert because of the special occasion and location)... Sage had Chocolate Cake - which came as a delectable pice of cake large enough for two and drizzled with scrumptious chocolate sauce/ganache. I ordered: TIRAMISU and OH MY GAWD Best adarn dessert I have had - gonna say since - Well since forever. I could not get enough! YUM! 😋 All in all, if you are looking for a personalized and special experience for yourself, your familia or for a extra special date night, I would recommend highly that you keep this Northern Italian bistro in your hot list of places to go. 2019 People's Choice BEST OF THE BEST - Tampa Bay Times

I'm shocked the ratings only have this in the 3's. My family and I went last night for my birthday dinner, and it was fantastic! I'm a huge chicken parmigiana critic/connoisseur (in my own mind) and this was top of my list! The husband and wife owned and run restaurant is untouched in this type of dining: quite, romantic, modern easy going place with amazing food! Do Not Forget the Tiramisu!! Excellent! I took my husband for a romantic Christmas dinner for two, highly recommended and this place did not disappoint. Cozy romantic atmosphere, food was delicious I had the cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, we were served bread with our appetizers, brushetta between the main course, and a sweet treat after desert too! A quaint restaurant filled with wonderful recipes from Northern Italy. Beer, wine, and soda are the beverages of choice. From the start, a whole array of choices await you, but if you want some of the freshest bruschetta imaginable - don't walk - run in to get some...our table of 8 each had a separate entree, however, most were devoured before I could get a picture. The silence that came from the table truly demonstrated how fantastic the food was. While we were stuffed completely, we couldn't imagine leaving such a wonderful place without trying their desserts - cannolis, tiramisu, and brownie misu all graced the table last. Again, another course... No disappointment.

We had a dinner reservation for my husband’s birthday and from beginning to end it was wonderful. We were a party of 12 and at no moment did we ever feel rushed while we went over our menus or while we asked questions while we were placing our orders. Our waitress was super sweet and helpful. The food was great and the cozy Christmas feel for this time of the year was just perfect. We all left happy and full. Thank you guys for making my husbands birthday extra special. I wanted a nice Italian cuisine for dinner yesterday I read their reviews and just took a chance and let me tell you. GO HERE. Go here for your anniversary dinner, your birthday, graduation, cause it’s Tuesday, it doesn’t matter make any reason to go here. The service immaculate. The food?? IMMACULATE. Delicious, just beautiful. The atmosphere homey, upscale and comforting. Just a surprisingly good experience and the food was ABOVE and beyond my expectations. Thank you! And I will be back again soon! But not soon enough!! Oh and they’re on Uber eats so if you don’t want leave your house but want some really good Italian cuisine! They have an extensive wine list and food menu! So you can try something different every time!

Madison was fantastic, and it was was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. This place is a must stop for anyone who loves pasta! Clean from top to bottom, and the chef personally came out and apologized for the “delay” even though our food was out within even 10-15 mins, with every different entre making all 6 of us say “wow!” On the first bite.

By far the best and most authentic Italian dishes in the bay area. Mara and Franco take great pride in their food and service. We recently took some friends and they were blown away as well. I don’t care what these people say it is completely wrong. Best Italian restaurant in Tampa. My experience was absolutely amazing I tried the parmigiana wheel as recommended by our server Juleza who I loved!! In this meal Franco the owner comes up to our table and torches this big bowl of Italian parmigiana and then adds the pasta right in. I’m telling you people I felt like a kid in the candy store. Also Mara recommended a delicious wine ( the co owner and wife of Franco) to compliment the meal perfectly and I ended with an oreo misu which like the name is an oreo tiramisu. They really found a way to encapsulate the AUTHENTIC Italian experience. I will be coming back for seconds.

I ordered using Uber Eats. I know the food is decent as I have dined at the restaurant. It’s pricey and the portions are so small. I ordered eggplant rollatini which is an appetizer but it looked like a spoonful of sauce in a tiny little styrofoam container. The bag of that and a Caesar Salad was so light it didn’t feel like anything was in it. I’ll never eat in or order take out for them again. So underwhelmed and disappointed. No bread and nothing that made you feel like you ordered from a fine dining restaurant.

We went to this restaurant for the first time on 7/24 for my husbands 68th. In general in was just okay. The best part about our evening was our company and Madison our waitress. For some reason the time to get a very small salad on a small plate took a very long time. The four of us in our party all agreed that our meal was too salty. Because of some miscommunication about a beer that my husband said no he didn't need but was brought anyway, the owner came out and said we wouldn't be charged for that beer. He also apologized about something that was going on in the kitchen for the wait for our food, however everyone inside seemed to get their order okay. I would give it a try one more time....maybe. I ordered the "Orecchiette Alla Puttanesca" and requested the anchovies, but I don't think they existed, but maybe for the best since the dish was already salty.

A really great Italian gem tucked away in Carrollwood. The star of the show is the Fettuccine Alfredo rolled in their giant wheel Parmigiano Reggiano with cracked black pepper, which they melt with a blowtorch. The sharp cheesy flavor comes through so distinctly. I'm pretty sure this has forever ruined Fettuccine Alfredo from anywhere else for me.

Experienced this establishment a few days ago. This restaurant is more traditional Italian, in the sense of no soup or salad offered with main dish only bread and oil. With that being said, for pricey food, I found the dish to be very expensive for the quality of food provided. I was also provided a very small pour for wine. I am undecided if we will return.

This was, by far, one of the best restaurants at which to eat. Friends of ours recommended that we eat here, and they were not mistaken. From the extra added touches of the special gorgonazola cheese at the start of the meal through the dessert and coffee at the end (we ordered the traditional pannacotta which was absolutely exquisite), the meal and the ambience made me feel like I was in a trattoria in Italy itself. I cannot wait to go back there!

My fiancé and I ate here for the first time tonight and we just had to leave a review! The service was stellar. We enjoyed the arancini for an appetizer, which were cheesy and delicious. We then had the risotto with pancetta and shrimp, and the ravioli in a cream sauce. BOTH dishes were so good, we were barely able to save enough room for dessert. But we were glad we did—we enjoyed the Oreomisu—a cross between tiramisu and cookies and cream! It was our first time here but it definitely will not be our last. La Casa Della Pasta is truly a hidden gem worth visiting (and revisiting!)

Mixed reviews on first visit. Not very busy but service of food was slow. Told was short staffed and to be patient since they were busy. There was not allot of people there yet. Seemed to get busier after 8:00 pm. Veal not pounded and heavily breaded and bland. The salad and appetizers were all amazing! Only one of three veal dishes were pounded and lightly breaded properly. They did take off one dish off the bill. Thank you. Very hard for us to visit a restaurant that has been in business for 2 years and still does not have there dishes consistent. Also, not all wines on the list were available. We will try it again since the appetizers were so amazing and the staff that was available very nice.

We were greeted and sat promptly for our reservation, which on a Wednesday at 6:30 was unnecessary. Only two other tables were occupied but by 7 or so two larger parties showed up. The room was fairly noisy and I imagine when it's full it could be difficult to hear conversation. We received two small Parmesan cracker/muffin upon being seated, which were fine but it was equivalent to eating a tablespoon of Parmesan as no other flavors were involved. The calamari appetizer was prepared perfectly and seasoned well. I enjoyed the aioli dipping sauce, a nice change from the usual marinara. The Caesar salad was a bit of a let down. They do not use anchovies in the dressing and the server said they could be added upon request but the menu does not say that, nor was I asked when ordering if I might want them. The Romaine was pretty white but not bitter and the salad overall was fine. It took awhile for the entrees to come out but not too long. The mushroom risotto was excellent. The grouper pescatore was pretty good too but I like my lemon butter sauce a little more on the lemony side (but I should have requested that). The portion was very large and I could not eat the sides of pasta and veggies, which from the small tastes I had were also very good. I had the chianti classico riserva - very flavorful. The service was perfunctory, with the owner being mostly occupied by other tables (but still came to our table). Our server was nice but very reserved and would not look at you in the eye most of the time or smile, but she performed the basics of service well.

It's been awhile since I've submitted my comments on this resraurant. Forgive my negligence because we have become regular customers at one of the best Italian restaurants in the Tampa area. Situated in a corner of a quiet plaza on Ehrlich Rd, in Carrolwood, is La Casa Della Pasta. You've got to work a bit, to find it, but I guarantee you, it's worth the effort. Where do I start? The ambience, the service, the food...is all phenomenal. Let's start with Mara. She handles the front of the restaurant and is the warmest friendliest Host you'll find anywhere. And she's trained her staff well. The service is impeccable and everyone is knowledgeable, warm and friendly. And then we have Mara's husband Franco, who is responsible for some of the finest Italian dishes I've had the opportunity to eat. The pasta is fresh and homemade. The red sauce is incredible. And whatever Franco makes , you'll be pleased. Arlene had Spaghetti Aragosta and Granchio (pasta w/ crab and lobster in a princess sauce). It's a dish she's had many times and loves it more each time. I had a Grouper with a red suace and clams, accompanied by rigatoni and fresh vegetables. The grouper was cooked perfectly, the sauce is "to die for" and the rigatoni and veggies were cooked perfectly al dente. And our Tiramisu dessert, again made by Franco, was exceptional. All in all,,,a wonderful dinner, We'll keep coming back again and again.

My daughter recommended this place due to it's high reviews from other diners as it was on the way home and opened til 10 p.m. We had an excellent meal and talked to the relatively new owners, Franco and Mara. It has a charming, cozy ambience, excellent menu and lovely little perks such as the parmesan biscuits presented as soon as you sit down, fresh homemade bread and bread sticks while you look through the menu, and little shortbread like cookies that appear with the check. All in all, a delightful experience. We will be back.

excellent Italian restaurant! Owners came from n.w. Italy 2 years ago and it shows; very authentic food, great service, nice atmosphere. Owners served us and brought homemade Parmesan biscuits and chocolate shortbread treats to our table free! Menu has huge selection of entrees. Only negative is they only have beer & wine, although we ordered Aperol spritzer cocktails before dinner that were delicious. Will definitely return!

My wife and I went for our third visit since Franco and Mara bought the restaurant (Valentine's Day). We haven't been disappointed yet. Yes, the price is higher than box chain restaurants, but its totally worth it. All meals are freshly made, Mara and Franco have incorporated recipes from their native Italy, and the wine list is very good and reasonable. They even had a South African pinotage which is one of my wife's favorite varieties. I'm not a seafood fan but decided to step outside my typical, traditional American-Italian pasta tastes, and try the squid-ink black ravioli stuffed with lobster and crab. It was amazingly good. The brandy cream sauce was full of flavor while remaining very light. My wife had the veal scaloppinni with mushroom sauce which was equally delicious. I can't recommend La Casa della Pasta highly enough.

We ordered the calamari, which came perfectly cooked and lightly breaded-along with a homemade dipping sauce-this was hands down the best I have had in a long time! We also ordered the fried mozzarella-incredible! 🍝For our dinner we had a variety of specials: the lobster ravioli, Italian sausage and bowties, chicken and capers, and a mouth watering filet. 🍮We continued to stuff our faces with a variety of desserts-equally on point!🍧 The food and service was amazing! Im anxious to go again and try the rest of the menu! The owner/head chef even came out to check on us...and his wife was our waitress. What a nice and humbling touch. I am going to give this restaurant a five. But let me explain why I am giving a five. First and foremost let me state the obvious the ambience and the service is excellent. The waiters very attentive owners were very friendly and hospitality. Now the food my appetizer came warm. I ordered mozerela cheese and it was not stringy how warm cheese would look like. It was delicious, I told the waitress it was a bit warm for my standards that’s me being nice and saying I hope my food comes out hot. Ok well that went over their heads. I ordered a ravioli dish that was filled with cheese. My food was warm and I had to send it back immediately to have them heat it up. At that point I’m turned off completely. The owner brought me my dish and it was hot but... ok so the pasta was definitely over cooked the sauce was delicious. This place would be a gold mind if they don’t live within their means and put some more TLC. Maybe more fresher food , the presentation attention to detail or what you put out. Would I try them again? Yes because I received a free dessert and that was the best thing I ate there. The wine though good, perfect temperature. I would definitely recommend you try it and get a feel for yourself. So expect for the worst and embrace the best.

I am pleased to see this restaurant revitalized after its founder ran off the last customer uninformed of the epic rudeness and poor service they would receive. The new owners are lovely and the quality of the food was terrific. I had Cavatappi Alla Panna. The pasta was perfect, the sauce was creamy without being heavy. The peas and mushrooms were not overcooked and the pancetta was well balanced and did not overpower the flavor of the other ingredients. I'm planning the restaurant back into rotation after many years of driving by and remembering the disappointment of previous dining experiences.

Everything was so delicious. You can tell that it was all home made with molto amore! I met the owner and his wife when we were there and they were such incredible kind people. I was on a first date and forgot to make reservations, but they were able to get me a table in their busy dinner rush. I love this place! Wish I lived closer. Please disregard all of the old, poor, reviews! The food here has always been excellent but the former owner gave this restaurant a bad reputation for service and terrible online reviews. I personally stopped dining here over a year ago due to the former owner's attitude. That has now changed. The new owners are a husband and wife team from Italy (Franco and Mara). They are awesome and the food is better than ever! Don't judge this restaurant based on the previous reviews. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

The food we ordered was good but for the price paid it could've at least included a salad. Our group was large and some were late but throughout the experience, until more patrons arrived, we were essentially being stared at by the staff who did not seem happy or nice except for Nikki. It almost seemed as if they were wanting us to order already and Christina appeared less than pleasant through facial expressions and seemingly sarcastic smiles, she was better off not smiling at all. Nothing personal, just a very obvious observation. It's okay to be attentive, not okay to hover in this manner. We've been going to La Casa della Pasta for over 7 years. It isn't Olive Garden or Carrabas, so don't expect those prices. I've yet to have a bad meal or think it wasn't worth the final bill. Enrique has been nothing but kind and respectful to us (including our 10 year old son) every time. We took our son (3 at the time) with us the first visit. Enrique couldn't have been more kind - even made a small cheese pizza for our son for no charge. I've read a number of reviews from people who obviously don't understand that most adults don't care to have children running around a restaurant interrupting others. Enrique simply doesn't tolerate childish behavior, no matter the age of the person exhibiting it. His passion is serving delicious food, not dealing with bratty kids or entitled adults. If you want a delicious Italian meal and can afford it, pay Enrique a visit. If you can't control your children or your own ego, neither he nor the rest of us who love eating there want your business.

First time here and we were the only ones in the place at 7 pm on a Monday night. You would think that being an Italian and a Pasta place, they could those two things rightthe Special Pork Shank was well prepared and good but served over OVERCOOKED Risotto...dry. My husband ordered a pasta dish and the pasta was UNDERCOOKED by about 2 minutes...and we like Al dente pasta...The bread was cold and the dipping oil was way too spicy for an starter to the meal...dulls the taste buds. The house salad was good, nothing to order again, but very fresh. I would cut them some slack if the place was mobbed and we were there on Valentines day but WE WERE THERE ONLY CUSTOMERS THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE!!!...I won't go back because the the prices are too high for poorly cooked food.

We are in love with La Casa della Pasta! My wife and I have become frequent visitors, and the experience is always so exquisitely pleasant. I always get the Bolognese, and it is so delicious that it has become addicting to me. My wife equally craves the Penne Rustica on a biweekly basis. Uber Eats helps us with that one if we don't feel like leaving the house. On top of all of that, the customer service and fine dining experience are five star worthy! The owners are so personable and seem to be friends with everyone that walks in the door, and the way we are treated is no exception. I guess the people with groupons or children need to eat at Pizza Hut. We loved the food they are not an Italian "chain food" eatery as what we ate was gourmet and definitely not "out of a can" I had the Lasagna which was in in a white sauce and was the finest Lasagna I ever had in this city. The Caprese Salad which were tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella cheese were a culinary delight. My husband had a house salad and said it was a welcome change from your boring run of the mill house salad. The lettuce (which were mixed greens) were crisp and full of olives, raisins, tomatoes and other goodies not found in your standard boring house salad. He loved the salad dressing and stated it was sweet and light - nothing like anything he had tasted before. The staff was attentive, polite and kept a vigilant watch over the patrons to make sure no one was lacking in either food or beverage. We were so grateful there were no other patrons there with their whiny crying children which made our dining experience absolutely perfect. Children in restaurants are like smokers used to be - they need to be either banned lol or isolated into certain parts of restaurants so as not to annoy other people trying to enjoy an adult dining experience. We would come back here many many times.

For the past seven years, we've enjoyed the delicious Italian food served at La Casa della Pasta. Today, we walked in and discovered that Franco and Mara had taken over ownership of the restaraunt. The service was wonderful and the food was even better! The menu we have come to love and cozy atmosphere have been preserved. My boyfriend and I started with the bruschetta and ordered the black spaghetti crab (special) along with the ravioli di formaggio alla vodka as our entrees. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the handmade pasta was cooked to perfection. We finished with their light and airy tiramisu that compares only to my favorite at Angelo's in New York's Little Italy. While we sipped on decorated cappuccinos served with sugar rock candies, Franco and Mara stopped by to formally introduce themselves. They moved here from Italy about a month ago and could not be more kind! As we were walking out, Franco noticed the heavy rain and insisted he walk us to our car with an umbrella. Their friendly and welcoming attitude is a great addition to the restaurant. We can't wait for our next dinner at La Casa della Pasta!

The food was good but a bit over priced ( $18 and up for meals). The wait staff was inexperienced, inattentive, and unorganized. After finishing our meal, we waited for almost an hour while they stuggled to figure out the bill.

I love the decor on the outside, and the service was fantastic. However, I felt the food was mediocre, and very pricey. Also, they charge you $4.00 to split a meal, which I think is kind of ridiculous, especially when you're buying appetizers, cocktails, and salads. I'm glad I had the experience, but I probably won't go back.

Went to La Casa dellla Pasta to celebrate a friends birthday It was wonderful Staff were very attentive but not intrusive Shared Calamari appetizer which was perfect for 3 Eggplant parmigiana was delicious The others had linguini with clams and the perogies, which they truly enjoyed We also shared the Brownie Misu for dessert and it was fantastic Definitely going back
