Blown away! These people know what they're doing when it comes to preparing seafood. We came at a good time in that there was no line. Preparing the meal took a good 15/20 minutes after our order. Establishment was clean and did not smell remotely close to fish or seafood, as most places do when they dabble in the seafood industry. If I was to stay in the Tampa area longer, I would definitely return. I am nothing short of impressed with all aspects of the service to include the quality of the food. Thank you!

Definitely a great takeout place for seafood. the garlic bluecrabs combo is my fav here. Everything is made to order fresh, hot, and well seasoned and generous portions for the very affordable pricing. I stay in Riverview and will still make the drive to North Tampa. The staff is always friendly and the food tastes amazing. I just wish I could sit in and eat here.

Customer service was great. Awesome snacks and treats and good drinks in the coolers. Prices are really great and quality of food is off the chain! The location right off Nebraska isn't ideal due to the area but the restaurant is close to I-275. The air conditioning was down but the owners were VERY apologetic and brought out fans. The customer service was nice and prompt. The seafood was overly spicy for my taste. I seriously wanted to taste what the blue crabs were about but no cigars they were out 😔

The food was so flavorful, but SPICY!! We got the family pack with some added à la carte items. The prices were reasonable, and we got a lot of food for what we paid. The seafood was swimming in their signature butter sauce with what tasted like curry seasoning. It was very spicy; definitely wouldn't recommend this to ppl who have reflux or a sensitive palate. Other than that, it was a great birthday feast for my daughter!

Disappointed. I absolutely love seafood. I’m from Maryland and I KNOW good seafood. This left alot to be desired. I ordered a number 27. My snow crab clusters were over cooked. I don’t think I got one clean pull from a leg while attempting to enjoy them. My shrimp were small. I enjoyed the potatoes and the corn. The sauce was missing something. I also had an order of crab cakes. They were trash. The value is great for the money but I didn’t enjoy the experience enough to say I’ll be back anytime soon.

You'll likely miss this place if not looking for it because it blends in with the plaza. It's very busy, call ahead of you can but be warned they may not pick up if it's too busy, happened to me. They bagged my food very well so that it would spill and I'm thankful for that. I got the snow crab combo #16 and it was delicious. The crab was good but not extraordinary. The mussels, shrimp, potatoes and corn were great. I added 2 eggs as well just for a bit more food. They give you a generous amount of sauce. It is a butter based sauce with herbs and peppers. It's not very spicy at all, you can order it extra spicy if you want but it comes very mild if you order it normally. Inside is standing room only, with a couple chairs. There are no tables inside so everything is to go. The colorful paper you can see in the pictures are appreciation notes from customers.

Mannn, my hubby & I eat a Lot of seafood/krab…this is in our Top 3. This place made us feel special & appreciated. The owner stayed after hours to allow us “out of towners” sit at the table & devour the exceptionally delicious meal. We had the krab, shrimp, Beef sausage, korn, & potatoes. He even made us out own dipping sauces to our spice liking!!! We will be eating here EVERY Florida visit.

Had the fried snow crab legs it was AMAZING. The corn and sausage are super flavorful. I especially love their garlic butter sauce as it isn’t ridiculously greasy like a lot of other seafood boil places, and still yummier than most.

Great food! I was wary about checking this place out but the guy at the counter was super nice and he even customized the spice level for me! It was the best crab boil I've had in years. It was packed with crab and they threw in an extra partial cluster because one was missing a leg. Will absolutely go back!

Snow crabs were delish , made call in order not to wait hour before they closed on Sunday and it was ready quickly , owner or who answer the phone was well mannered and they were nice people very good finger licking food ****UPDATE**** Ordered on Monday around 2pm my food was microwaved warm at the touch Not hot. At least don’t have a microwave in plane site for customers to view .

This is by far the best seafood option in the Tampa Bay Area. I ordered the #2 for snow crab and added a side of boiled eggs. It was plenty for my boyfriend and I. The garlic butter sauce is to die for and a bit spicy. Krispy Krab is going to be a place to frequent. To make it even better, Sal was very helpful and welcoming!

Food is flavorful and delicious! Worth a visit. And I think priced just right. Lost a star because I called a few times and was hung up on twice and left on a lengthy hold when they finally answered ,they advised they were not taking phone orders. But advised I should drive up to order but that I would wait two hours to be served. So got turned off by having a two hour wait for take out but the food is great and worth a visit. Better than red lobster anyday of the week. And being fair when I explained that I was not local they made exception and took the phone order. Would visit again now that I have a better idea of how it operates my second time will be even better than my first.

I was looking for a seafood place like the one I normally visit (out of state) when I heard about this place. The guy was very nice and helpful. The seafood was delicious as well although it seemed like the crabs were marinated in or simmered in the sauce/broth so the meat was a different color (due to the seasoning) and it seemed like it had sat in whatever it was for too long because the meat was falling apart. It was still good but I would have preferred my seafood not have been in whatever broth it was for so long. They deep fry crab legs which I keep hearing is BOMB & I’ll be going back to try soon!

First time eating here and i am IN LOVE with their food. Tried their snow crab cluster with the potatoes, corn, and sausage and it was PERFECTION. Definitely heaven on earth and I’m VERY picky about what I eat. The whole entree was seasoned to perfection, tender, juicy, buttery and savory! There was still TONS of sauce left over from the meal. A must go too! I was a little skeptical at first by the building looks but it will not disappoint!!!

I definitely give Krispy Krab these stars because their food is actually good. You must must must call and Order ahead at least 30 minutes before you expect to eat your food because that's the only way you'll be able to just go right in and pick it up. You will have an extremely long wait if you just walk in. I used to be upset before when I used to order from them because the food was so spicy but they told me that they're supposed to be spicy and that I would just need to order mine with 1/2 the seasoning to get the taste I was looking for. And if you're like me a person that wants little to no spice I would recommend only putting a quarter of the spice seasoning

It was my first time here and I ordered the crabs, shrimp, potato and corn combo. The crab was tasty but the shrimp had a weird taste and I didn’t like that I had to shell it. I would go back because the guy at the front is cute and nice. The food is good too but I’d try the fried oysters next time. A decent place for seafood in Tampa

A friend brought me here back in March for the first time...while I was visiting Tampa. Now each time I visit, this place is a must! I went twice while there in June...I’m from the Philadelphia/NJ area & I can’t find a seafood restaurant that even compares here. It’s takeout only which was fine for me. Each time I’ve ordered the snow crab clutters, shrimp, sausage, corn & potatoes. I’ve never seen egg included anywhere else, (I think this is exclusive to the south) but now it’s my favorite. I love the flavor & kick of spice of the sauce & those Uncle John’s sausages pair perfectly with the seafood. The last time I visited, the owner was nice enough to offer me any beverage for no charge as I waited for my order. Can’t wait to return!

Cooked to order seafood. The food is delicious and flavorful. As my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised. The only drawback is the waiting area is tight and the wait time can be 30 to 60 mins due to each order cooked fresh. Will definitely dine again but recommend to call ahead order.

UH-MAZE-ING!!! Very good food. We ordered in advance, everything is cooked to order, and our food was ready in exactly the time expected. (About 30 minutes). This was delicious. You could literally drink the butter. It was spicy and delicious. Top notch!!

I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. Seems small to mention, but I even liked how well the food was bagged. It didn't have my car smelling at all! Best seafood ever! Very casual atmosphere and well priced food. I got the #16 with blue crab and added 2 eggs for $23. It was a feast! I could only eat half of it and saved the rest for leftovers. It was perfectly seasoned with a bit of a kick and had more butter than I knew what to do with. I would definitely recommend! Can't wait to have my family over for a big seafood feast, what a great time we'll have!!

First off I love good customer service! And Sal was amazing he helped my family get all the combos we needed answered all our questions and gave us more info about the business and the family that owns it and how all the blue crab is local and FRESH! Now second the food was AMAZING. Looked beautiful smelt incredible and tasted great! We were out of town so we were hoping to eat there(it’s only take out) but we weren’t saying no because of that, we loaded up on a little bit of everything packed up and went back to the hotel! The service was pleasant and professional. I ordered a tray of snow crab and garlic blue crab. I also substituted all my potatoes for corn. The snow crab was pretty good. They were a good size, spicy and flavourful. The blue crab wasn't exactly my favorite, and probably something I wouldn't get again. They were on the smaller side and didn't seem like much of anything inside of them. Other than that my experience was pretty good.

This food looked and tasted amazing! I ordered a tray with crab legs, potatoes, shrimp, sausage, and corn. I added on two eggs [the tray was missing the corn :(] BUT the flavor was unmatched! They had run out of crabs for the day also and I was looking forward to them, but he explained and gave me eggs on the house. THE BEST CRAB IN TAMPA! My food is always ready when I come to pick up. Our food has never been incorrect. Pick-up orders are packaged with boxes/tin foil that makes it fresh and hot when you bring it home to the table. The portions for the price are incredible! Customer service is so friendly and they always go the extra mile. Krisp Krab was recommended to me by a friend and now I recommend them to everyone! You won’t be disappointed.

I was in town for the weekend...Kappa Frat event. I wanted to eat at a good place the locals eat. Searched the internet...this place had such rave reviews...mostly 5 stars with great comments. I told my husband ...we have to go to this place. So we did. It's a small store front shop...you will pass it if you not looking closely. You might be skeptical....but park and go in. The people are friendly owner and fellow customers. You will have a small wait time...they cook to order. They show you the order before packing it into your bag. My mouth was watering on the spot. The ride back to the hotel was delicious smelling in the car. Oh my! Those crabs were so juicy delicious. I ate them while my husband attended a meeting...I had to send him a msg to let him know I ate the entire box of 3 snow crabs and shrimp. I will definitely go back again. This time buy 2 boxes.

As a person who generally avoids blue/snow crab (once you try King crab it's hard to go back) I must say that this place had possibly the best seasonings on its crab that I've ever had (and I lived in Louisiana for a long time). Despite warm water crab, this food was absolutely amazing!

My third time eating here and love the food. Employees don't seem to be happy though :'( and they should get the laundry basket of clothing from the dining hall ("lost & found"). Looks tacky! Bathrooms are starting to become a non-priority, you can imagine what might the unsanitary conditions in the kitchen be like.

This place is by far my favorite place to go for crab. Not only is the food delicious but so are their customer service. They know me by name they're enthusiastic every time I'm there and they're super friendly with everyone they encounter.
