We had the best experience in this eatery,waffles were absolutely delicious and staff was very kind! Also it wasn’t crowded,on the contrary,atmosphere was very relaxed with the minimum of people minding their own business. I’m quite sad from seeing so many 1-star reviews, but I definitely recommend this place - we came here from very dirty Waffle house and definitely do not regret. One of my best experiences in the US.

I was here on last week around 11pm. I’m not sure why this place has single star ratings. But, I really enjoyed the service here. Seems like less staff, but the staff is very very friendly. Food is as usual. Loved the tres leches pancakes….ummm delicious 😋. I would love to come here again.

This location provided me and my family with the best service ever. The manager worked hard to accommodate our large party and he kept us updated as we waited. Our waitress Lily was the absolute BEST she was so polite, professional, and very attentive to our needs and requests. The food good and prepared just as we requested. I would recommend this location to anyone, so go ahead and head there now!!

Short staffed this morning, took a long minute to get seated. 3 door dashers said they were waiting awhile to pickup their orders. The food was good, coffee was okay. Coffee flavor and freshness important to me. The server was great checking back and topping off our coffee.

The food was great. I tried the big steak omelette for the first time and I got my coworker one as well. We LOVED it, I added spinach to them but wow didn’t expect it to big so flavorful. The second time I went my co worker ordered the Pablano omelette which she devoured in ten minutes because it was that awesome, I got the breakfast sampler this time which I’ve had. Never can go wrong with all the meats for breakfast with eggs and pancakes.

Restaurant was pretty much empty and from the outside it looked like it was closed. The waitress was prompt with greeting,seating, and taking our drink order. Our food was out quickly as well. I want to caution that again the restaurant was practically empty I saw only two other table occupied with 2 people each so not sure how it would be if there were more patrons.

Unfortunately I had to rate a 3 because service was slow possibly due to short staff. It was pretty crowded inside. However, my server was really sweet and corrected my order even when I was the one to blame 🙃. When food did arrive it good not hot but warm enough to enjoy.

Deon provided IMPECCABLE service!!! We will remember to ask for him when we dine again. My husband was a little disappointed with the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. He didn't taste the cheesecake flavor. My strawberry and bananas French toast was delicious! So was the turkey bacon.

Super busy on Fridays, but everyone did a great job, working hard and super nice. Didn't wait more than 10mins for a table and 15 - 20mins for food, not bad at all for how busy it was. Still found time to keep up with our drinks while we waited for food, way better location than the one on N Dale Mabry!

This place is awesome especially because the la Quinta next door does not serve breakfast. Sarah made our first experience there awesome! I was disappointed that there was only one cook and one server at 5 p.m. on a weekday night. However I understand that its management's fault and they need to fix it. The food took a long time but it was all fresh and delicious. Also they are serving the full menu. The prices are definitely reasonable especially if you have a larger family to feed.

We used to come here for breakfast for more than a year. The line starts around 10am, so try to come before it’s packed. Unfortunately it’s not the right place for healthy food lovers, but if you order steak with eggs as I do, and ask to replace hash browns with a salad, you’ll be fine. The prices are very reasonable and it’s open 24/7.

Huge shout out to Ebboni! She is the bomb! Super sweet and pleasant. I have never been called baby or boo so many times that it made me 😃! I should have taken pics of the food but I scared it down so fast forgot about that! I literally have been her 23 minutes and have sat, ordered, eaten, 3 coffees and paid. Definitely ask for one of my new favorite servers! Thank you for a great morning 🌄!

Honestly disappointing coming here today. The food was great but the server, Daphne was terrible. When she greeted us she didn’t say good morning or anything just asked us what we wanted. Then through the meal she did not once stop at our table to ask if we needed anything else or to refill waters or coffee. We had to stop her as she went between her other tables that she was giving good service to. She seemed like she would rather be anywhere else

Been to other IHOP in other states and pancakes were not hot. This IHOP was great, and the pancakes were very hot and delicious. Eggs with cheese were to perfection with flavor and fluffy. Definitely will return to this IHOP when in town again.

Great place to eat breakfast 24/7 and lunch and dinner too. If you call ahead you can reserve the back room for family functions and other events. We all enjoyed our selection of food, it was hot and freshly made so deliciously prepared. The service was awesome!!! Thank you Rose for your excellent service!❤ We will definitely be back!!

My sister and I wanted a hot breakfast not the bag and go of our hotel. So we sat in this IHOP and was served by Delilah, she made us feel as if we were her only customers with her attention and wonderful service. Went there the next day and we were happy to have the same server as she treated us like good old friends. The food was good too.

This place is so amazing, The waiters are amazing and they are so patient. Delilah was especially patient even when a plate broke. She never showed any negativity when we accidentally bumped in to her. She is so nice. She still wasn’t annoyed even when we asked her so much. We came in with over 30 people and she managed them all. She even memorized all our orders when there were 30 people! Give her a raise! And i tell you we will definitely come to THIS ihop anytime we come back!

The food was good and even just looking at how they got to there seated customers seem great, but I as well as 2 other individuals were customers that ordered online and waited for 30 plus minutes well employees went around us. The one lady that was in line waiting asked for help they told her your food is right there someone will be with you and told the other lady we busy right now. Another big issue is someone should have been at that front counter to accommodate the customers coming in with online pick especially if they got the food sitting right there ready to go. Again good was great but need to tighten up on how they get one orders out.

I don't normally review national chains, but... The service we received at this IHOP next to our hotel went above and beyond. Ended up here because we missed our flight out, and our emotional state wasn't the best, to say the least. Everything changed when we sat down to lunch here. Zymiah and Renicesa had us smiling and laughing in moments after we sat down. They turned a terrible situation into a great positive memory in no time. It's not often that a server anywhere makes me feel better than when I came in. Feeling very thankful for that right now. ❤️

They were SEVERELY understaffed yet the staff pulled together on a busy Saturday night. My server was amazing and nice despite the pressure she was under. This location never lets me down in service and quality, pandemic or no. The cooks and servers definitely deserve a raise because they always do their best. Thank you!

I sat in this parking lot for almost 5 hours waiting for a police officer to come assist me with a hit and run. I originally asked for just a glass of water, but after realizing I was gonna be there all day I ordered chicken tenders but got a chicken sandwich instead. The sandwich was still a banger. Onion rings were on point. 5/5 would attempt to order my meal there again.

We were informed when we were seated that they were very short staffed in both the kitchen and only 3 servers. While the food did take a while, we appreciated being informed. I can't vouch for the kitchen but the servers were working their butt's off, u can imagine the kitchen was too.

Good IHOP. Always busy which is a good thing, & the food is great. This location is a former Denny’s, so the dining room is big & spaced out, not small & cramped like a normal IHOP. They were a little short staffed today, but that’s not their fault. All businesses are struggling with this right now.

First time ordering a pick up order. The wait was little longer than they told me it would be but it was a good experience. The order was correct and the breakfast food was fresh and good. This is me and my 2 children's favorite breakfast and lunch place to eat. We've been going her since they were in elementary. IHOP is a place you can always count on. The food is always delicious. In comparison to other restaurants the prices are a great value. They give good portion sizes as well. The waitresses are nice and friendly. They actually kept our drinks filled!!! I hate it when I have to flag a waitress down for a refill on my drinks!! The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms are cleaned and stocked. Overall a great place for family dining!!!

A very average experience. I generally avoid this chain but l needed food and they provided. The omelette was so bland I couldn't finish it. Looked nice though. Wait staff as a whole was decent but I watched a family near me sit for 5 min without a waitress acknowledging them.

The waitress was awesome! I am so surprised that the portions have downsized and the prices have upsized. It is a little frustrating. The restaurant was clean. The bathroom was clean. We did not have to wait to be seated. We really enjoyed our dinner. I was just surprised when I ordered my pancakes and they were served on a plate that was barely bigger than a saucer yet smaller than a dinner plate. There was room to spare on the plate. What a shame when the pancakes was the main item I ordered. I definitely understand prices go up but portions shouldn't go down.

Today is mothers day, my fiance and I decided to go have brunch. We arrived expecting a long wait time, which was less than 10 mins! Once we sat down our waitress Kym, quickly got our orders in while always staying nice and professional. The food took no longer than 15-20 minutes. Everything was fresh and beyond delicious. The food and service were amazing. The manager and staff are doing a great job!

Food was great waitress was elderly lady very sweet and nice..went there at 12 midnight and when we were paying the lobby was full of people waiting to be sat a out 20 or so but only 2 waitresses on floor and people got upset abunch of them walked out as they never got sat the waitress apologized said nobody wants a job and yes she is right as this problem is everywere.. The service is excellent. I went to IHOP one morning with a business card signed by the manager for a free breakfast. He had since been transferred to another restaurant and the than current managers still honored his signature. Even though the meal was given free, I still left a tip for the way it was all was handled so smoothly.

Typical IHOP food but they were super busy in the middle of the night and understaffed. It would have probably been better if there wasn't a group of 20 or so teens sitting in but I was ordering to go and waited a good 20 minutes after friends ordered to order because the lady at the front counter walked away before taking my order. I got a waiter to take my order even though I see it put him in a bind with his tables. That kid deserves 5 stars and had great service. He has the high top trying to look like Kid from the House Party movies.

This IHOP is so fresh so clean. My server was very nice, and he kept asking us if everything was ok. The food was ready very fast, and it taste really good. The bathroom was clean. If you go late in the evening like we did, don't expect them to have everything available. Salad, grits (this is the south!) and lemonade were all out of stock. There was something else, but I cannot remember what it was. The staff was very nice and hard working. The restaurant was woefully understaffed, and they really worked hard to make sure that every one was taken care of in a reasonable time. The food that they did have was good and hot.

Very pleased with this place. The waitress (Liz) is always very helpful whenever I go there in the evenings. To bad all servers are not like her. She herself deserves 10 stars. By the way, the food is very good also.

We usually go to Village Inn around here, but our second go to breakfast joint is IHOP. This particular one always serves good food, but usually service is subpar. I am giving 4 stars because a couple weeks ago we came in and got the best service we have ever had. She was so sweet and very attentive. Usually we ask for refills or for condiments, but she beat us to the punch on all of it. Hopefully if you go in you'll have her as your waitress. You will not be disappointed!!

Went out with the aunts and grandma after losing at the hardrock food was good but it sat in the window than on the counter for almost 10 minutes! I could see because I was sitting right directly facing the kitchen window... also my aunts biscuits and gravy meal got sent back biscuit was like a hockey puck and eggs were flipped over and burnt! When she had ordered over easy, also it was along wait and sent back food for hardly anyone in the restaurant.

Waitress did a fabulous job handling our large group that had small children. What's amazing to me is every time I go to IHOP any IHOP that whatever I order is not in stock. Also the case here with the children's build your :-) pancake breakfast. Waitress profusely apologize and we all knew it wasn't her fault... and she did a great job handling the situation.

Almost avoided coming here due to all of the negative comments, but we were close and my boys wanted IHOP for breakfast. My guess is management is aware of the reviews because there seemed to be a considerable effort put forth by the entire wait staff. We were greeted with a "we'll be with you shortly" as we walked thru the door. We were sat quickly, and our server greeted us and took our drink order within 2-3 minutes. Our food took about 15 minutes, was hot, looked good, and was correct. Restaurant wasn't overly busy but wasn't slow either. Most everyone had smiles and the manager frequently walked around checking on guests. Overall a good IHOP experience.

Food was good, service was spotty. They didn't have enough servers due to them being late. Our server didn't show up and another server filled in for us, we had only been seen for essentials,( drinks, food and check) while we were requiring service without any assistance. Also the manager had to fill in for a call out manager - the poor guy was there the night before and had to come right back in for the breakfast rush. He did comp half the check for our visit which is why I am raising the star count a star. I may just stick to the other location (North Dale Mabry) for now.

The food was fine, and so was the service. However, I was very dismayed that a young woman had her dog with her. It may or may not have been a service dog, but had no identification to identify it as such. In addition, the dog was sitting on the booth, with its head over the table. I am appalled that anyone would think that was ok. I sure wouldnt want to be the next customer sitting in that booth!!!

I am a big IHOP fan and this place was disappointing. The Cheesesteak Stacker was greasy and fries took on the taste of the old deep fryer oil. There was also staff eating in the view of customers, next to the restrooms. Also, the cooking staff and were loud in the back with personal conversations. So that was my experience at 9pm, 29 Feb 2020.

Nice clean friendly place. Right across from LaQuinta where we stayed. Open 24/7. For some reason this is one of those places you have to ask for an extra napkin or two because the silverware is wrapped in a napkin so after you stir your coffee you have no place to put down your wet spoon except on top of your one and only napkin. As someone else pointed out, portion sizes seem to depend on the time of day and who's working at the time. We know this because we had both lunch and dinner here due to its proximity to our hotel room. My wife ordered the fried chicken dinner which came with mashed potatoes and corn and she said the corn wasn't well prepared. It was mushy and overcooked. However there was an overabundance of chicken which was well prepared and very tasty. Our overall experience was positive. As another reviewer pointed out, its an IHOP. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. As another reviewer experienced, we did have to wait for our check and finally I got up and just went to the cash register. Our waitress was there and she apologized for not getting us a check early. To give her due credit however she was very friendly and overworked and extremely busy. There were not enough waitresses. She did not neglect us when we were at the table and was attentive and friendly. I tipped her a very healthy amount because of that.

Honestly, the manager was more concerned about acting like he was training an experienced server rather than letting the server do her job. The prices even seem to be going up and it is unrealistic for what the quality of the food really is. I used to like this chain much more but, things aren't looking good during the change. Hope things improve soon.

I come there again and again expecting somewhat decent quality of food and some bad customer service, and sure as hell I get it all the time. The staff is slow, unfriendly, behaves in a very weird way sometimes and leaves zero good impression. However, the food quality so far has been good and the place itself is fairly clean.

I came here around midnight, but it was relatively busy, about 7 or 8 tables. They had two servers and they were doing a good job of seeing to all the tables. I got the enormous Colorado omelette and it was great. I think overall that the pancakes are overpriced...which is sad for a place with Pancakes in the name.

Loved the food and the service we received. Only issue was my sweet tea, and the explanation given was complete bs. My tea was disgusting and not sweet at all. The server explained that the manager won't let them use the regular amount of sugar bc somebody had a seizure. Just because one person had a seizure doesn't mean other customers have to suffer. Needless to say she fixed it up for me and I was happy. But the manager really needs to get it together. Sweet tea is diabetes in a cup, if you can't handle it drink water.
