A great place to go for steak and Italian food. A nice place for a birthday or anniversary. The service was excellent. Nice variety of food options on their menu plus a large wine selection. They have room to accommodate larger parties as well.

Our server was excellent. We had a party of 10 and he did not miss a beat. Great food. We had about 80% of the menu and everything was delicious. I had the surf & turf which was amazing. The fettuccine alfredo left more to be desired. Escargot was absolutely fantastic.

We celebrated our anniversary here. We went around 5pm on a Saturday. No wait. Nice and quiet. Exceptional service from Stephanie. Food was excellent. I got prime rib it was tasty. Wife got chicken parm. She said it was good. Bananas foster was good.

I had 7:30 reservations & the place was overly crowded. Took an hour for us to be seated on a Saturday night. Filet Mignon was amazing. I upgraded to fettuccine Alfredo for $4 more(was a bit bland needed more sauce). Overall food was really good & had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer. I would definitely come back. If wait wasn't so long would've given them 5 stars.

Iavarone's Italian Steakhouse long time, since 1948, swanky steakhouse with a unique Italian flair! From the moment you enter the door you know you're in for a special treat! Carmine and his son's have for generations been preparing old school Italian delicacies that Silvo Dante or Michael Corleone would approve of!! The highlight of our day in Cigar City was finding this amazing restaurant, thanks Google for the recommendation! The other two family locations are Malios in downtown Tampa and Carmine's in Ybor City! Of course when in Italy do as the Italians do, so we order a liter of Sangiovese wine to pair with our Italian feast! We started with one of our favorite appetizers that we haven't had in some time, Escargot served with toasted baguette! Nadeene Stuart-Horak went with her Italian restaurant favorite, Eggplant Parmesan and a side of Brussel Spouts and I, after thinking about their Lasagna all day decided to try something different and choose the Bistecca e Gorgonzola, sliced beef tenderloin with mushrooms, shallots and gorgonzola cheese served over fresh penne pasta!! Both of our entrees were out of this world delicious!! How we didn't know about this piece of Little Italy before is surprising and it's going to make going to any other Italian restaurant very difficult, unless it's Malios or Carmine's!! Bon appetit!!!

Im not a huge fan of the floor plan. I think it makes it seem like we’re really close to the other tables. The steaks were delicious and very tender. I think the loaded baked potato is missing something. They may have put too much sour cream because to me it felt a little bland. The Gorgonzola had no flavor so don’t waste your money on that. Overall they have good steak, decent food and a not so great atmosphere.

Nice place for good meal. Got the eggplant parmigiana and escargot for appetizer. Service was good, price is right on target for the great quality of food.

The service was great & worthy of 5 stars, but unfortunately the food was not. The calamari looked amazing and they give you plenty, but unfortunately it was very dry & chewy. We ate a few pieces and chose not to take it home.. it felt horrible to waste food, but it just wasn't worth it.. The house salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, 3 small green olives, 1 piece of tomato & very little dressing, which left it flavorless. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, but the green beans were over cooked and super soft. Overall it was not the worst experience, but I expected so much more, this place has been around for many years & had a great reputation for their food. They used to have luxury cars lined up down the street waiting for the valet. This could be a one-off. That's what I'm hoping at least.

No prime rib, no lasagna and a longer then expected wait time with reservations. The food that we did get was amazing and the drinks were more than what we expected. The service was very good over all and so I highly recommend this place and most likely will return.
