This was a good sports pub. It was very crowded when we went in. Tables were very close together and it was loud inside, but still a pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and our table sanitized before we sat down. The food was good, along with their sandwiches. The servers are great. We will be going back to try more things on the menu.

I went for the wings. Accidentally ended up there on game night, and still walked right in and had a seat at the bar. Despite being during the game, there was an extremely reasonable time on my wings. $1.50 Happy Hour (4-8PM) wing special. They have game specials on drinks, but I forgot to ask what they were. 😅 I went with the wings "Dave's Way". Good sized wings, good flavor, not hot at all, though, if that's what you're looking for you'll have to add on. Celery was included. Good, thick ranch dip. They were great. Best that I have found in Tampa. Anchor bar is a close second.

This place is a sports-lovers dream bar. It’s been in Tampa for years and is a beloved Lightning bar for before, during, and after each game. College football Saturdays and NFL Sundays are pure heaven with every TV in the building turned to a game. If you go to support your team, you’ll always find another fan there to talk to. Food is incredible all around, and if you get their Wings, you HAVE to get them Dave’s Way. You will not regret it. Buckets of beer are relatively cheap, and plenty of great beers on tap.

3 starts ONLY because the “rum punch” was delicious but food bland, tortilla chips were stale, and burger seems to be missing salt, pepper, and seasoning. Atmosphere was lively, but couldn’t say the same about our waiter. It’s not a place I’d recommend to my friends to experience unless they want to go for the “rum punch”. Waitress came by and seen that we’re barely eating our food and didn’t ask if we were doing okay or how the food is. She dropped off a water and vanished. Sitting here for 15 minutes now waiting for the waiter to return. Finally asked for the manager and he was kind enough to comp the meal (as he can see was barely touched).

Hattricks is a combination of two great things. Sports bar and an Irish Pub. Excellent Shepards pie, clean restrooms and plenty of architecture to absorb inside. I highly recommend Hattricks to locals and visitors alike, being close to the convention center.

I had to give this place a try after I heard these were the best wings in Tampa on a recent Reddit post, and as of now I really can't put up a solid argument against that statement! Food/Drinks: I ordered two sets of wings: Dave's Way (lightning sauce, shake n bake, re-tossed in garlic), and medium buffalo style. The wings were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. I'm basic when it comes to wings so the buffalo were by far my favorite. Ordered some lightning lemonades which are a mixed cocktail with vodka/lemonade. Honestly the drinks were good, but they could use a bit more alcohol for the price (why I usually stick to beer). Atmosphere: Has an Irish pub style layout but decorated in a bunch of hockey/lightning decor which I loved. There are a bunch of TV's around playing mostly hockey so it would make the ideal spot to kick back, have some wings/brews, and watch the lightning play. Service: The hostess was super friendly, sat us right away, and made us feel welcome. Our waitress seemed rushed as they may have been short staffed but did her job well. Parking: I visited on a week night and parking was a breeze. Parked on the street about 20ft from the entrance. There's also a parking lot right next to the building on the left. Overall I love this spot and would definitely come back to try some more wings! If you're in the area give this play a shot.

I thought that $11.75 for six wings was insane. I had it Dave’s way with an small order of fries. It was flavorful the wing’s. The crinkled fries were to hard. They did remake it and it was good. I would go back but only at happy hour. Finding parking was a nightmare most of the spaces are reserved for the bank and other businesses. Hatricks has four spots. I would go back but only during happy hour.

Wings are phenomenal. I recommend shake and bake (crispier than buffalo style) with lightning sauce (the "hottest" buffalo sauce that's not spicy at all) Fries & Greek salad were a good choice as well! Very good ranch :)

A MUST TRY! When inTampa Cool Tampa spot in there center of Downtown near the docks, financial district and trolley. Cool spot for a game night, gathering or Hh... everyone loved the ribs, they dived in so quick, I forgot pics. 4 stars for great service and ambiance!

We stopped at Hattricks for afternoon lunch. We ordered the Loaded Nachos, Medium & BBQ wings. The food was absolutely amazing, I just have to say they sell the best wings I have EVER eaten, they are breaded and sauced to perfection. They have a huge menu selection and the customer service was outstanding! Our drinks never went empty and they were extremely quick to clean and overturn tables. They as well have a good setup for TVS so you can catch any sport you are wanting to watch no matter where you’re sitting. The only negative about Hattricks, it is extremely overcrowded and is not wheelchair friendly, almost seems like it could be a fire hazard how close people are together. Additionally there is no restaurant only parking, there is a parking lot directly next door but it’s extremely tight parking. You can bring kids here however, it is not infant/toddler friendly as there are not high chairs or changing tables in the restrooms. Aside from those minor details, you’re going for sports, booze and food this is the place to go! We will absolutely be back.

Great sports pub, especially if you are a hockey fan! The menu offers a nice selection. Including the expected fare of wings (which are very good) Nachos and more. A variety of sandwiches and more. Just be prepared to wait as this is a very popular place and they do not take reservations.

Hattricks was a great place to visit! A Tampa Bay Lightning bar with style and the Irish vibe. The servers were nice, seating availability was plentiful, and food was great. The bathrooms...wow! These bathrooms were big, spacious, and very clean. One of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in bar and restaurant wise. My husband said the wings were great with medium sauce. His only comment was he prefers carrots over celery. We will gladly visit again!

Came here after an amazing concert at Amalie arena. It was late and they were doing pretty damn good business at midnight. We got the roasted duck poutine because it looked amazing in pictures, and it absolutely was amazing and everything we wanted and more after a long day and a long concert. Super filling. Salty. Crunchy gooey cheese. Salty gravy. Tender shreds of duck. It was incredible. Our server was Taylor and she was amazing! Very sweet and attentive.

Love this place so much! Our server was Liz and she was extremely helpful and attentive. She got our food out extremely quickly and was very friendly. Make sure to ask for Liz’s section when you come here. This place plays all the games, so it’s perfect for sport days and drinking with the friends. Wings are the best in town.

Great staff and the food is pretty good. It is downtown, so the parking can be a pain and especially so if there is some event going on. The Italian egg rolls are awesome!!!!! And the wings are pretty good!

Service was fine, never had any issues. The atmosphere is super cool with lots to look at, especially the shuffleboard table you can't use. People constantly recommended this place for their wings. Was incredibly underwhelming, especially for the price. Almost $40 for 20 wings that are decent at best? Pretty disappointing.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy but there were a few tables. We were seated right away. The menu is big but lots of choices. We got the baked wings for appetizer They took longer to cook but they were awesome. Cooked just right and seasoned perfect For meals we ordered Philly cheese steak, Shepard pie and Ruben sandwich. The food came quickly. The portions are big and all the food was delicious. The Shepard pie had a lot of cheese on top. I did not expect that. The Philly cheesesteak looked small but had a big amount of meat. They had several sports on many TV. The price was reasonable. This is a really good sports bar.

Waitress helped us pretty quickly despite how busy it was. The club sandwich and cuban sandwich were pretty good. And having a Heineken to go with to remember the NL. We tried watching some sports on all their Tv's but it was very busy inside so you could barely hear it.

I have stopped here three times now from being in town for business. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great selection on beers on tap, and a great selection of food. The Shepherd's Pie is a fantastic choice, the wings are cooked and seasoned perfectly and the Nic's Famous Italian Egg Rolls will make your day! Highly recommend this as a place to gather!

We went during a Bucs game, so no seating inside, but the host was able to get us a table outside. Seemed like a fun vibe from what we could see. Wings are the best in Tampa. Well made and packed with flavor. Their burgers are pretty good too! Service was excellent - prompt and attentive, even with how busy they were. Def enjoyed it!

It's great. Love the place. But they raised the prices something fierce. And got rid of their steak fries. I used to make it a regular stop, but it's a bad value now. I don't begrudge them that, though; the best way to make money is to charge more for what you are doing.

This is a classic dive sports bar! Huge space that I'm sure gets packed fir games. We went for lunch on a weekday so it was quiet. We had wings, nachos, and a cheesesteak. Pretty standard bar fare, and pretty much what you'd expect. Service was excellent.

I've been to Hattricks multiple times after hockey games, and it's always a fun environment. I finally went there during the daytime and ordered food. I was extremely impressed. Hattricks has one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. I'll definitely be going back for another Caesar.

Great place, stopped by after the game at Amalie Arena for a late dinner. My Cesar with chicken was great. Old fashioned cocktail was ok too, but nothing special. Good location and atmosphere, so it's likely we'll come back when in the area.

Favorite hockey bar I have ever been to! I go every time I am in town. Great wings and drinks. Best place to go before taking the trollie to Amalie Arena to catch a Bolts game. Go if you like hockey or sports in general!

The literal definition of "Mid". Everything was exactly OK. I wouldn't recommend this place, but i wouldn't discourage anyone from coming. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good.

A classic pub atmosphere with the classic menu burger, salads etc, variety of beers, sports playing on TV screens. Bar tenders and waitress super nice and friendly. A place you can visit with your friends or alone (my occasion) if in business trip and spend some time.

Stopped by here with my fiancé before our flight back home to NY and it was a great pick. The food was amazing. We had the bbq wings, shrimp tacos, fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious! The service was also great. Our waitress was amazing.

Great food!! It was kind of ruined by the service… when we first arrived I asked for a Miller lite and a water. The waitress asked draft or bottle and I said draft. We were brought bottles. After we asked to have them on draft instead, the service rapidly declined. She sighed heavily and then proceeded to check on the people next to us: she only came back when flagged down, missed parts of our order, had to be asked to provide napkins and silverware? then ripped the card reader out of my boyfriends hands and ripped his card out of the machine.

I love this place, original hangout of the Tampa Bay area, prices are very good with the size of the portions, but maybe we got a kranky waitress today seemed like she just wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible, idk of it was cause me and my party were speaking a foreign language due to out of country visitors that made her uncomfortable. Usually we show on Fridays after work in military uniforms we get treated like royalty which is awesome but tonight out of them was just harsh. Still I will totally recommend this place for their prices, variety on sports shown, prices.

Took them longer than other bars to greet us and take an order but not enough to mark them down, once we orfered things went quick, the bartender was attentive, and the food was good. The wings are a bit more expensive than other places but are worth it.

Wow! I’ve visited a few times for late night dining and drinks with family. Always a great experience. My employer bought dinner (take out) for our night crew last night. My crew is highly critical and always give me feedback on the food quality, packaging and organization of the takeout orders. Hattricks was the best takeout experience ever. Every order was perfectly prepared. Nearly every employee asked for some sort of exception. Everything was labeled with their name, and the food was delicious. Great service. Great quality food. Takeout packaging meticulously performed. Fantastic job! Thank you for making this experience a pleasant one. Grouper Piccata (pic) was tasty.

Amazing wings....probably the best I've ever had! Good level of spice combined with garlic and parm makes for an extremely tasty dish. I had the Pilly cheese steak with the soup of the day instead of fries. Soup was chicken and pablano peppers which was more a stew and equally delicious. Sandwich was cooked perfectly. My bartender, Robin steered me to all these dishes and I thank her! Friendly and attentive made it a very pleasant dining experience. Will definitely be back when in town!!

My brother and I travel EVERYWHERE. And we always try different wing places. We have been to several hundred Wing places before and Hattricks is #1. The Daves way is the absolute best! Even met the manager Dave. Super cool guy! Will go every time im in Tampa again!

Bartenders just not attentive, food mediocre. Mozzarella sticks were luke warm at best, asked to heat, she said will make new, sent back same order. Felt zero difference, like it was under a hot lamp, maybe. Just disappointed because I used to love this spot. Grouper bites were mostly tail pieces.

Went after the Tampa/Vancouver game. The atmosphere and wings were excellent! Our server was horrible,, miserable and absolutely ruined our experience Tipped her but really should not have. I can only tell you she has long curly hair, doesn’t speak and a miserable face (no smile) . Go but….get a good server.

I slapped my grandmother in the face at 100% power after trying these wings. Soulja Boy cranked it in reverse after he tried these wings. These wings made Keith Whitley a stranger to the rain, AC/DC wear all white, and Kendrick Lamar a Bad Kid in a Happy City. These wings have the perspective shifting potency of a research chemical...These wings are derserving of a Stanley cup.

Came to Hattricks late for some to go food, enjoyed my dinner. It’s a hockey bar. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak with sweet potato fries and 10 mild wings with cheese fries which were extra cheesy! Everything was fresh and come out rather quick with the crowd that was there. You can order Togo from the bar. I wouldn’t come with a young family late at night but I’m unsure about during the day. Standard bar food on the menu but good deals on wings after 10pm

A pretty busy sports bar right downtown tampa.I went to see Tampa bay lightening and I was not disappointed. I ordered their today's special chicken wings with garlic and parmesan cheese and I absolutely loved it.I made a few friends there in one night, so I would say definitely a place to go if you want to enjoy a good game and some good company .

I don't frequent this ace enough to really have the best opinion. But I've noticed that that food and service seems to be better at night than in the day. I usually get the wings but on my last visit had the fish and chips and was not excited about it. Still a decent place and good crowd.

We usually visit Curtis Hixon Park then walk to Hattricks. This time we parked right in front of the restaurant and decided to eat first. We decided on turkey wraps. When the waitress returned we told her what we wanted. She informed us they were out of turkey. She gave us more time. We each ordered chicken. Mine was plain grilled sandwich due to my stomach issues (I'll have more on this after my upcoming visit to my GI doctor). My sandwich arrived open-faced and looked absolutely mouth watering. I took my first bite and WOW! Dang I can say with certainty that it was the best chicken sandwich I ever laid eyes or teeth on. Juicy and tender. Ok, so why only 4 stars. We just felt the waitress should have informed us of being out of turkey when she gave us the menus. She had this lackadaisical look about her almost like she would rather be somewhere else. If you are a hockey fan you probably know this place. Hattricks is ground zero for Tampa Bay Lightning games if you don't go to Amalie arena. The day I was there this sports bar had hockey, golf, Nascar, and basketball playing. So sports fans, dive in. I wouldn't go for the food. I had the fried Grouper sandwich. ($12.50). It was overcooked, and the batter was crispy but lifeless. Add just a touch of spice and it would be a lot better. The bun, while toasted on the grill, wasn't very good either. For a few extra cents they could pull in a better bun. The large French Fries that came with the sandwich were decent, but of the bar-food variety. Bottom line is if you want to see sports, especially ice hockey, this is the place for you. You will find better food within a few blocks.

Great food and the services was very attentive. When you wonder why ya boy only gave 3 stars its because the staff were sweeping at our feet while we’re still eating at 11:42 and patio tables were being slammed behind us 20 mins before closing. I definitely understand when you want to be off work. However, it is still a business and someone should never come and grab their check off the table before the guests leave. Amazing food just go before 11 o’clock

Food was hot and fresh. Service wasn’t lacking either. Didn’t utilize the bar but ordered a great tasting Cuban and it didn’t disappoint. Was impressed by the decor and several flat screen TV’s with a great selection of sports to watch while waiting for the food. Typical jerseys on the brick walls, and flags from several of the best ⛳️ golf courses in the country. If that’s your thing, you will love it. But if your in the Riverwalk area, paid parking in the rear with some decent pub fair with an interesting menu format are just around the corner.

The best wings in town. Order from the secret menu - get 'em shake and bake style. Excellent pub grub, or upgrade to a full meal. Hockey bar atmosphere, friendly and fast wait staff. Walking distance from the Amelie Arena, this is a great meet-up, and pre-game spot. If you work downtown, this is a great lunch spot - even though it is sit down service, they get you in and out quickly. Full bar, and great selection of beer.

Really the epitome of 3 stars. Nothing was good, nothing was bad. Food and drinks are slightly overpriced, but not bad quality. Atmosphere is hectic, but not so hectic you feel annoyed. Staff are slow and often forgetful, but they will usually have a back-up for the poor staff that they'll send out before you even make mention that the prior server is poor. It really is just "meh". Not good, not bad. I'd never rush back nor would I be opposed to being back again.

What a great place to watch sports! So many TV's there's no chance your game's not on. Meet some friends before a lightning game or just go for your favorite game of the week. The food is exceptional too. I get the wings, medium with garlic parm seasoning. Soooo good! GO BLUE!

Consistently some of the best Buffalo wings in town. Great service is also a trademark of Hattricks. *edit I love Hattricks. This place is a Tampa icon. Great place to hang before a game or for happy hour. Just a fun place with great employees. But this review is for the dissapointment with their wings the last 4 times...4. You used to be able to come in get your wings and they would be perfect everytime. Crispy and hot with a great tasting sauce. Then as they have gotten busier, the wings have been soggier and it feels and taste like the quality of the wings have lessened. The flavor of the wings have been been consistently the same. I've asked for the wings to be crispy, to even leave them in for another 3 to 4 minutes, but they keep coming out soggy and flappy. Just disappointing. People have asked me where the best wings in town are, and I've said Hattricks for a long time, but not anymore

The experience was wonderful! I went with my coworkers and had a blast! The wings were so good and the waitress was kind! They have two time slots for happy hour from 4-8 I believe and then 10-close. Wings are 85cents a piece during happy hour and they have a ton of discounts on beer but none on liquor sadly!

I went to this location after a hockey game with a buddy of mine. So it was very busy. Very good food. Server was super nice. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. If you've not visited this location definitely check it out. I would probably recommend not going after a hockey game if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

Sat outside, it was cold bur owner brought out heaters for us. 8 people in our group and everyone got their food and it was good but my burger didn't come until the rest of the table had finished eating. I got it to go. It was packed. A squirrel actually took a dump in my friends whiskey sour. Saw it happen. The server brought him a new one free of charge. We were there for the concert and in a good mood. Overall it was pretty good. I'd go back if in Tampa again and staying down the street from them and was drinking and with a group of people drinking.

Amazing wings. Would have been 5 stars but the service was terrible, and that's being generous. So much so that both tables next to us were talking about it. One group of guys that lived there said it's common. The server spent more time taking selfies outside and on her phone than actually helping us. When she did help she seemed annoyed like we were taking her away from talking with the other servers. If you dislike interaction with servers and love great wings... Their food is phenomenal! However their service is somewhat mediocre. The waitress seemed bothered to have to be at work. I went back the next for the food and although the new waitress was kind she handed me a drink she held over the top of the cup and uncovered straw🤢and then her coworkers looked disturbed when I got up and asked for a new one. But fingered water is not my thing. Best I can tell you is just order your food to go. It's worth it.

Cool bar playing the games right next to my apartment and good food but the wings are rediculously overpriced at $20 for 10 .... I mean they are good but they aren't curing cancer. Also the staff is clearly hired based on appearance which is great, if only they remembered I'm not a 21 year old college guy who will put up with their snobby attitude. Many of my coworkers have had similar experiences with the immature rude staff. I'll continue to put up with it since it's so convenient.

It is a sports bar, it is expected to be very crowded during sport events airing. They have a wide selection of crafts beer. Delightful chicken wings. And their famous and delicious Shepards pie. The service is fast even during peak hours.

Football Sunday at Hattricks. The place was packed but I got seated at a bad 2 top table in 1st 5 minutes after I walked back and forth once. Best feature was waitress/server Suzy who was polite, prompt, and focused. She kept beer glass full and checked in often. Wings were middle of the road in terms of flavor and doneness. My Guinness draft was......well, Guinness. So very average experience, but I would return if didn't have or know of any other place to go. Middle of the road food and experience.

Awesome sports bar, but get there early on game day. After finding it totally packed on 2 Lightning game nights, we finally took the hint and came really early for Sunday football. Like 2 hours early. But it was worth it. Great service. The food was so good. I hate queso on nachos, so these really delivered with real cheese and chili. And the cheesesteak might be the best I've ever had. By the time the games started, the place was full and made a great environment for watching the games. We'll def be back when we're in town.

Wings were as great as I have heard. Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a crispy and juicy wing. My only complaint is the wings are expensive for what you get. At almost 2 dollars a wing, that is not competitive in the Tampa area.

We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the whole place.great cold beers and great service by Ana who was one of the best if not best female bartender I ever had-- and I've been to seriously over 1000s bars in my life.too bad the Lightning lost to Avs but we will be back.If you are a sports fan and hockey fan especially then you'll love this great bar.

Food and drinks were good. The service should have been better. The young kid/guy who was the host the night of the AFC/NFC Championships needs more training though. We arrived and were put in a waiting list for an estimated 30 min wait. 2 hours later we got skipped over 4 times!!! The one that made me the most mad though was we had 3 of us (with potentially 1 more joining our party) but another party had 5 so he said he needed to give them the table that opened up over us even though we were there first. The table was a 4 top so we would’ve needed that table anyway. We waited 2 hours for THAT party to leave and then we were giving that same table. No apologies, or should’ve comped us a drink or something.

Went on a Sunday expecting to wait and sure enough there was a long one. Arrived 15 minutes before the 1pm Games ended. Most tables were cashed out and and cleared/cleaned, but patrons still sat there watching their respective games while 20+ people stood by the door waiting for them to leave. The staff should encourage people to move to the bar!!! From the time we put our name down to the time we got our wings, we waited 80 minutes. The shift change was a mess too. The first serve never put our appetizer order in, and the meal order was jumbled around. Lastly, the wing prices are out of control. $1.50 per wing for happy hour?! I remember 5 years ago when it used to be 0.65 cents during happy hour. I understand inflation and the pandemic shortages, but come on… $1.50 per wing - for happy hour?! A 12oz domestic is $3.00 now. Used to be $2.25! After 5 years it looks like I’ll be a PressBox customer now…

Probably THE place in town to watch a game while having a drink. However, the rest of the world knows that too so it’s always crowded on game day. Other things to be aware of: Parking can also be a pain and outdoor seating is limited to a few tables. Get here early and it’s a great time with cheap beer. I can’t speak for the food as we’ve only had drinks here but the atmosphere during a game is awesome.

Best chicken wings in FL! Chicken wings cooked to perfection, pricey however delicious. If chicken wings aren't your thing, there's a full bar, and plenty other options to choose from. If you're a Tampa Bay lightning fan, it's a bonus because it's the official bar of the bolts! Often crowded so it's good to get there early.

Went here for lunch when visiting Tampa on 03/17/2021, not realizing how crowded it would be for St. Patrick’s Day. Place was very crowded, but we were seated promptly. Despite the crowd, service was excellent. Waitresses are always running around checking on everyone and very friendly. Food was pretty good. Sweet potato fries were awesome. Prices are average. Atmosphere is nice, but it can get loud here. Would definitely recommend this place and I will visit here again when I return to Tampa.

I Googled Sports bars in Tampa and this was one of the top searches that popped up, so I decided to check it out. I went during a Lightning game and it was packed. Needless to say, I was able to get a table without any issue. My waitress was super nice and friendly. After she took our order, our food came out at a very reasonable time. After we were served our food, our waitress continued to check on us and we never felt like we were forgotten about. Outstanding service!! The food was pretty good. I had the wings with some bacon cheese fries, definitely a choice meal for a hockey game! Great place overall...I definitely will come back again!!

Okay food. Okay service. Had to ask for obvious things. Wasn't given utensils for food that required it. Fried Pickles were tasty, but in spears which is a pain to eat. The skin is hard to break through and you get hot pickle juice every where. Other than the pickles, the food was under seasoned. Wings were solid. Fish and chips bland. Both fish and fries. I see why this place has so many reviews now. Visiting from NC and heard so many people talk about coming here and trying the wings. They put the sauce on the wings first and then put them into the oven to bake the sauce in!! Never tasted this method before and it was absolutely phenomenal. Bone-in, grilled and re-tossed in house sauce is recommended. But there are so many options on the menu that make this a great place for late night snack. My brother and I went here recently and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is so much fun with TVs everywhere. We sat at the bar and was promptly served. I drank the local IPA draft and had the pretzel dip as well as the egg rolls. Everything was perfect and tasted excellent. Can't recommend more. For those worried about COVID I felt safe being in the back corner of the bar away from most of the people. All the staff wore face masks.

It's probably a nice place for what it is... a sports bar. We, having already made plans with them, went in as a group, but QUICKLY overwhelmed them. The waitress were all young, cute, college age girls, but admitted they could not keep up with the drink orders and financial transactions. Then you had all of us, all the other visitors to Tampa and the all regulars trying to talk over one another. It was loud and cramped. It's probably a much better environment on average day or maybe even weekend, but they're not equipped to handle an event. Would be interesting to see how the place is when there's a hockey game in town.

It is a LOUD sports bar. We were there about 1230 PM on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good. We had a cross-check. But the service lacked a lot to be desired. No one who was working there smiled! No drink refills.

Chill little bar. Happy hr starts at 4pm I wish waitresses here were more prone to actually announcing it, but NOW that we know ;) it's all good. I have to truly compliment their bathroom...for a bar their bathroom is very very clean and nicely renovated, which is a huge compliment in my opinion especially considering bar bathrooms. Another cool feature is the toe pull/opener in the bathroom...i feel like I hardly see these but they're so appreciated. If you're into cigarettes get them here for just $1 from the cigarette dispenser; I don't smoke but I can appreciate how cool this really is. The wings are absolutely delicious here...if wings aren't your thing there menu is huge with lots I mean lots to choose from.... Kudos to the chefs & cooks! We have only visited since COVID-19 where it hasn't been too crowded, but I imagine this place being a hot spot. They have lots of sports memorabilia and several HD TVs all around for viewing pleasure. They also have limited outdoor seating which could make for a nice viewing spot. The downtown trolley drops you right in front if you're looking for a way to get here without driving. This place is dark, mellow, friendly, and overall a great little Downtown bar with decent prices.

Well bottom line up front wow! This place is fantastic. It's an irish and hockey themed bar and grill. Great atmosphere and I really liked the aesthetic. They had half a liquor store worth of options behind the bar. I ordered a dirty Hendricks martini and it was done very well! Girlfriend got a lightning lemonade off there menu which she really enjoyed. We both ordered wings which were very good. The IRA wings have some kick to them be warned! Finished with some dessert of the day which was salted caramel cheesecake that was great just like my whole experience there! I'm only in Florida for a week but I would eat there again just to try other things on their menu that sounded great!

Went on a Saturday during college football and the place was PACKED. While they did require a mask to enter and staff wore masks, no one was enforcing masks for patrons walking around and there was no effort at all to maintain social distancing between tables. People were literally on top of each other. Additionally, it did not seem they were prepared for such a crowd. We ordered appetizers and about 15 minutes later, no apps out yet, went ahead and put in our main entree order. Another 10-15 minutes passed and finally one app came out, the buffalo shrimp but the other two cheese fries and pretzels were no where to be seen. Our waitress said she would check on them and not five minutes after she left a runner came with our main dishes, our other apps still MIA. We asked the runner to please let our waitress know at this point we didn't want the other appetizers and he left to do so and five minutes later the missing apps arrived very late to the table. Our drink orders also got messed up during the visit. Of the food we did get however, everything was delicious. I certainly wouldn't say the mishaps are anything to write the place off for but I hope in future visits the atmosphere is safer and more distanced and the service improved. For all the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed, our waitress and runners were polite and willing to address the problems the best they could.

They do have vegetarian options but they’re lack luster. Their portobello press is the saddest excuse of a sandwich- literally a small portobello, bit of Mayo and cheese between a burger bun. This place is amazing. For lunch we split the wings. They were fried then tossed in sauce then baked. No sloppy sauce but all the flavor. I had the roast beef sandwich with fries and my son had the grouper fish sandwich with fries. Both were delicious and satisfying. Well done chef. The atmosphere was mostly hockey and I loved it. Ample TV's through out and the most friendly staff. Put this on your list for lunch, dinner or just a drink at the bar.

Service is always prompt, attentive and friendly. The wings are some of the best out there and drink and food prices very reasonable! Don't go when it's busy, i.e. a specific game. You'll get great service and fast food at other times, obviously. It's great for if you can drink beer or don't mind drinking liquor. This place was awesome and shockingly vegetarian friendly. I had an incredible pressed portabello sandwich that was NOT an after thought to the menu like a lot of places do. The mushroom was beautifully marinated and grilled with artichokes and peppers held together with great cheese. Fantastic option when attending an event at the convention center.

Great wings. They have my preference for mozzarella sticks in all of downtown. Fries always hot. I'm not a fan of how they do seating as there's no organization around it. During events and hockey games...good luck. Parking can be a pain in the butt too. Service can be good/bad, sometimes we get some servers who dont feel like doing their job, other times we get super friendly ones that make the visit worth it. Go for the wings tho, you wont regret it.

Found this hidden gem while stumbling the streets on St. Patty’s day with some friends. Fit not being a Tampa local I really enjoyed this bar. It was crowded like you would think but the drinks were good and the entertainment was more than enough. Great first experience at this place and can’t wait to go back. Very busy but they got us in within 5 minutes. Food was good. Wings just like beef o Brady's. They didn't have a kids menu at all. So I just ordered something for them to share. The appetizers, nachos and pretzels, were very good. There was a long wait for food but we did go on a busy busy day. A lot of tvs playing the games all over. Nice historic building atmosphere mixed with modern day. The girl at the front was doing an amazing job welcoming everyone, clearing tables. I don't think it's wheelchair accessible bc it definitely wasn't stroller accessible or kid friendly. The door is heavy and there's a ledge and a step to get out. I had to maneuver my stroller carefully plus with my other kid trying to help. The whole time there were two strong young men nearby waiting for a table, they saw my struggle and ignored me. It's a sports bar. Plain and simple. Service is so so. Not very attentive. Parking is confusing in regards to where you have to pay, when you have to pay. Wings were ok. Nothing great. Location was clean considering its a bar. Hours are a little confusing. Web site says one thing, and when you arrive they call last call an hour beforehand? Not sure I would go again unless there was a game I wanted to see. There are other places to go where you can have a better experience. I was hoping downtown tampa would have more to offer. Price moderately high for what you are anticipating.

By far the best wings I've ever had. It took a little while for the food to come out, but it was definitely worth it. I'm not sure I would recommend it for a lunch break that's an hour or less, but the food and service was fantastic. The atmosphere of the pub was also great as well and fit in perfectly with the city.

My dept and I were very disappointed the last time we were there more cause of the service than the food. The food is good here - I love their Cuban sandwich. However seating is the issue. We were six and they sat us in a table that only seats four. When a bigger table as finally available, we were told we had to stay where we were at. The reason we were given is that it was the lunch rush and they get crowded at the time. Well the table that fit six remained open for a long while and then they sat a group of three there. It was not logical at all to keep us six on a four seat table but put three people in a table of six. At least we like each other in my dept.; however most of us like to feel comfortable while eating and not crammed together.

Pros: Great wings (IRA Shake and Bake are the best). They are always busy. Especially when the Lightning are playing. Tons of TVs and different sports being broadcast. Awesome happy hour 4-8pm and 10pm-close 7 days a week $.85 wings, $2.25 bud light drafts and $16 bud/bud light buckets. Con: The reason for my 3 star review instead of 4 or 5 is the service. I have been here multiple times and it seems all they do is hire attractive young girls that dont know the first thing about good customer service. I'm assuming college girls. I come back for the food but I have never had good service here unfortunately. I have had different servers each time and same result. First time I was here server took over 20 min to greet me and she rolled her eyes when I told her I was ready to order food too. I was very polite about it. I could go on but bottom line is servers have bad attitudes and are very inattentive. I have ONLY been here at night (between 7-11pm every time) so I can't speak for the day staff. I always give a place multiple visits before making a review. I am sitting here as I wrote this review and our server never once came back after dropping the food off. She stood by the bar taking to a guy for a long time. Sad that this level of service is the norm here. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

One of the few places in downtown Tampa that serves food late. Nice bar. Good beer selection. Philly cheese steak was surprisingly good. Wings were great. Building is pretty cool looking and very open inside.

This place is crowded. I ordered wings and they were good just big to me. The server was really nice and sweet. Oh and the drink I ordered was too strong. I guess that's a plus for those who like to drink.

Enjoyed it and a 5 for food ,service and atmosphere. One thing that should be a priority is to stop serving obnoxious drunks and ask them to leave when they are spilling drinks, banging into customers , dropping chairs while yelling vulgarity at the top of their lungs.

Food and service was very good. My son enjoyed the duck poutine. My blackened chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries were delicious.

Great atmosphere if you're looking for that sports bar experience. The wings were just ok. Not a lot of flavor. The blue cheese dip was bland as well. The Philly cheesesteak was made with fake cheese. It was passable but not excellent. I say, go for the experience. You'll have a good time.

We we're staying just down the street at a hotel. My wife and I had brought our dog to stay with us. We did not have enough dog food for the weekend. Staff at hotel told us to go to Hattricks. Great food, great staff. The waitress delivered on all counts. Suggested turkey wrap fresh vegetables. Great experience. Next time in town, will stop in catch bolts game.

Hattricks is one of my favorite spots in Tampa. Shake n bake wings are the best wings in the state. Don’t want to miss out on those! The atmosphere sitting at the bar is super fun, especially if you get lucky with any one of the best. Christina, Jeona, and Angie top off the experience with a fun and friendly environment!

Good food and atmosphere. They do not take reservations so get there early because it fills up fast. It's a walkable distance from Channel Side. They also sell a wide selection of the local craft beer. Worth your time.

Hatrticks is a great sports bar in downtown, over the weekends its packed and after the lightning game it is impossible to find spot. the drinks are okay but the chicken wings are amazing. They taste fresh! Will visit again.

While the food is great and always hot and fresh, the wait times are excessive. Recently myself and a coworker were, what appeared to be the 2nd and 3rd people through the door at 11:00am. The kitchen didn't open until 11:15am, though. We placed our order and got our food over 40 minutes after arriving. Mind you the kitchen was still closed for 15 minutes so we'll take that into consideration. However more to-go orders were being filled first instead of the patrons that were actually eating in. Another time I waited at a table 13 minutes with no server greeting. I left. Like I said, the food is absolutely delicious but the wait doesn't make it worth it. Especially if you're on lunch and need to get back to the office. Order ahead when possible. They seem to fill those orders first.

Service was great and very fast at lunch time. Food in less than 8 minutes. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Had the Philly cheese steak and it was awesome. Almost ordered another but too full.

Just stopped here and got wings and shrimp before flying out. Would definitely recommend, really prompt service and good food. Yuliya was a great bartender.

Ordered the IRA wings in the shake and bake, per recommendations I found in other reviews. The wings were great but had very little heat. With more fire in the sauce this place would be the top of my list for wings. BTW, expect a crowd.

I might be biased because I'm a hockey fan and Hattricks is primarily a hockey themed sportsbar. Service was great. The food is good. Plenty of television screens to watch games. A step above your standard sports bar.

The best wings without question are the “shake and bake” hot wings! I’ve been here with coworkers and made a lunch out of the wings because we were craving them. When Lightning games are in Tampa it can be tough to get a table, so make sure you get there early.

Husband's food was cold but mine was hot. Hostess was kind of rude when we asked to not be seated at a high top (I have back issues). There was hardly anyone in the restaurant at the time and lots of open tables.

Great atmosphere for the love of local sports. Convenient location. Friendly service, and you're as lucky as I am they just may have your team winning the stanley cup on their tvs. 2011. Good menu with a lot of options.
