I came in here after flying into Tampa a few years ago. I had a really good experience with this place. Not one complaint at all. The wings were good but the Cuban sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. That was my first time ever having a Cuban sandwich and since then, I've tried others at different restaurants from time to time and nothing has topped this one. The place had a fun atmosphere too. Overall, this place gets 5 stars!!

Nice outdoor seating area with a bar there is lots of space inside and outside. We tried the $35 bucket of margarita and Long Island. Definitely enough for 6 people to get buzzed. We got the Garlic Parmesan Wings and the Kickin Korean BBQ Wings. Great wings best I’ve had in awhile definitely recommend trying the wings we also got a basket of fries that came out hot and fresh. The server was friendly we did come out a Monday and there was no wait the food was fast and fresh. Great place to have drinks and wing’s definitely will be back!

Nice vibes (live music available, outside bar, hens and roosters roaming around) and good staff. The decrease in stars were receiving our appetizer (just fries) 30min after we ordered it, receiving salads with almost cold chicken and stale croutons. I didn’t complain because it was so hot - just wanted to leave.

Stumbled across this place because the pirate theme looked really cool… had their brew, it was good and the Cuban sandwich was perfect.. my husband had the Havana roasted pork and we have both visited Cuba and I AM CUBAN!! I was very impressed and I highly recommend

An amazing place full of memorabilia. The bar has a fish tank with live fish and the largest tip 🔔! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right menu. The food was very good but not exceptional.

Sunday brunch has come a long way. Our dishes were made fresh and had plenty of flavor. Combine that with outdoor seating and good entertainment, and it was a great Sunday brunch experience. The food has improved and hopefully will remain consistent.

Not the true essence of Gasper anymore. They cut down their menu significantly and of the only items they offer now, I would only consider the Cuban Sandwich and Shrimp Crab Quesadilla to be worthy. I miss the BBQ Shrimp Dinners, Salmon, and other seafood items that had real Cuban vibes. I hope they get back.

It took them forever to take our order and deliver. We felt a little discriminated as others around us were getting their orders pretty quickly. And it's not that our orders were something complex, a few beers, lemonade and French fries. Plus it wasn't very crowded at that time. The ambience is pretty good and they've a good selection of beer and other drinks.

We were just finished doing a group thing for my husbands workplace. We'd walked to this bar to cool down with drinks and a quick bite. We were a group of eight (all couples). The waitress asked if we were splitting the bill. We said yes, we were all couples. When she finally came to take our order (they had very little patrons) she asked again about splitting the check (we told her again, no big deal). She said she said she needed to get her pad and pen to take our orders. She returned about ten minutes later and asked as she was taking orders which of us were couples to separate the bill. We told her as she took our order. We noticed she was drawing a line between each couples order. She mentioned it was her birthday. We all said "happy birthday!". Another 20 minutes went by and we finally got our drinks, which we quickly drank and ordered another round (we were pretty parched at this point and didn't know how long it'd take to bring the next round of drinks). About 30 minutes later the food arrived. I'd ordered beans and rice (because I'm a vegetarian). The waitress put a basket of fries in front of me and said verbatim "We're all out of beans and rice, so I ordered you fries.". I said "oh, okay thanks.". She asked again who was on who's tab. We all started looking at one another like hmmmm, but we told her again. Once we finished she brought the bill and asked again about who was together. At this point we were wondering if she was celebrating while working?🥴😵‍💫🍹🍸🚬 LOL I'm unsure if she forgot what the lines meant between each order or what happened. She proceeded to go through each thing we ordered and asked us who had what to eat and drink. Once again everyone looked very puzzled. Even after that she missed 3 items ringing us up and we each ended up paying again. P.S....Gratuity was already added to the bill. I understand it was her birthday and everyone has bad days but, don't think we'll be returning. 😒

60+ years of serving the community can't be wrong! I had excellent naked wings and some cold Jai Alai IPA and both were excellent. Friendly staff and while I enjoyed the patio, the main bar is a classic. I'll be back for sure!

Fantastic drink deals, as always (makes up for the absolute gouging going on for parking in Ybor). Couldn't believe the great price on wings. Ordered them and then an Ybor rooster decided to hop on the table. I felt judged so I took them home. My boyfriend ate them drunk that night so I never got to try them but he assured me they were awesome.

Ordered a crab and shrimp quesadilla and a Cuban sandwich. Yum!!!!! The quesadilla came with salsa and some kind of dipping sauce that was fabulous. It was chock full of crab, shrimp, cheese, spinach, bell peppers and some other veg worth eating. The pressed Cuban was devoid of veg. (Some places make them that way by default, so be sure to ask if like your tomato and lettuce tucked in there.) Have some napkins handy, because it will drip. Lots of cheese and condiments, which is a plus in our book. It was jam packed with meat, so be ready for a meal size sandwich. Enjoy your grub in this festive, quaint, piratey atmosphere.

Love here. Crispy Cuban sandwich, surprisingly delicious singaporean styled wings which are only 10 times better than buffalos. And our waitress Christy is super friendly and accommodating. Great beers and home whisky, delicious food, very reasonable price, cozy sitting outside settings made it a best place to go at Ybor city, Florida.

His son owns the place, and if you are interested in the Manhattan project at all this place is worth it just to check that out!! Also the house beer, Peg Leg, is one of the most interesting beers I've ever had!

Went to Gasper's for brunch for the first time in a long time and the food was delicious, my family was in from NY and they were so happy we went there. Live music by Jared barefoot was entertaining and amazing. And a special thanks to Marquan! He really went above and beyond to take care of us! I could see that he had a bunch of tables but never once showed that he was overwhelmed or stressed. He was impressive and killed he it with the service with a smile. We will definitely be back and hope to get him as our server!

What a diamond in the rough. Was very surprised at the quality of food here. The shrimp and grits were phenomenal and the bloody Mary was pretty good as well. Oh and the fries were WOW. The sweet tea taste like you made it at home, Delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Ordered a burger with fries. Burger was well done when ordered medium but overall wasn’t a bad experience. A good place to go or stop by while in Ybor. Service at the bar was okay but either overbearing or absent depending on the interaction (all or none). My experience wouldn’t make me a regular but wouldn’t drive me away if I wanted a convenient place to get a drink or a bite to eat.

Went to the outside bar- I believe it’s the one with the dining tables - more family like setting. The bartender was amazing. She was crazy busy but yet didn’t miss a beat. She got to us immediately and did so with a smile. Her hair color matched her energy- on fire

Staff were cool. I didn't know i could order all flats hot wings, so when I only got 3 she told me I could have. No worries. Next time I will. I wanted some loaded fries but was told they could do was cheese fries. But when I got them they only had a sprinkle of cheese on them and the manager was very understanding when explained what I was expecting and what I got. She took it back and off my order. The sangria was actually really good. The alcohol light weight that I am only needed 2 glasses before calling a uber home. It was a great experience.

Waitress never came to our table but she did serve the table full of guys. She passed our table twice. Guess since we were a table full of females maybe she thought we wouldn't tip. Cool. This is both a positive and negative review. So the Grotto is busy, seems like a party atmosphere. Menu is small but looks good. Sangria is excellent as was the IPA beer my husband had. Ordered beverages and appetizer and will order dinner when appetizer comes. Our wings seemed to take awhile, but they'e tasty. Did not get napkins or silverware tho. Put our dinner order in and got our napkins after finishing appetizer (we kind waved her over) Now the wait...my daughter received her dinner 1st, we didn't receive ours til AFTER she finished hers...ours finally came and was tasty. Spoke with server and manager about long wait and food coming out incorrectly. They explained that the Cuban sandwich maker wasn't there and she had to "track him down". I stated that we should have been made aware of situation rather than sitting and waiting...and waiting... Anyway, manager was very understanding and comped $15 off bill. She understood our disappointment as dining out prices go up and it's becoming a treat to take a family out for dinner... and we have experience in serving industry. So we know that things go awry. Anyhow, tasty food, interesting decor, busy party type place. Negatives, lack of communication, missing Cuban sandwiches maker, lack of table service (napkins, drink update, silverware). Would we return? Possibly but there seems to be alot of interesting restaurants in that area and we live over an hour away.

We had lunch on a weekday and I've been here a few times before. The atmosphere and vibe are pretty good, especially the inside bar area. Service was good and our server did a great job. This might be an inflation issue; however, we ordered the Cuban sandwich and I felt like I was ordering dinner at Berns steakhouse. Everything was priced ala cart (slightly sarcastic here) but I was startled they charged an extra $1.50 for lettuce and tomato on the sandwich to an already overpriced Cuban! I was afraid to ask for mayonnaise and a couple of pickles (more sarcasm). Fries were extra $1.50 and the meal only came with plantain chips (ugh). My rub is if you're going to soak the customer at least make the food tasty, It was about an average Cuban, surprising for the heart of Ybor known for Cuban sandwiches. I see the Cuban Sandwich reviews here are good, maybe it was an off day. And the one Stella Beer, $6+ as well ... again not a bad experience, just not was I was expecting for the prices. I'll still come back!

For starters the bartender acted like it was a big deal to change one of the tv channel to the World cup. Then we didn't have a waitress for the first 10 minutes so we ended up moving to another table. The bill had a different cost than the bar for the drink that we were having. Just not worth it l, specially since there is so much to do in Ybor. Would not recommend it during the day

I am really glad that Carmines had lazy servers and we're completely inattentive. So we left and went to Gaspar's Grotto. Great choice. Cuban and Spanish bean soup were delicious, and our server was really good too.

Our waitress, Kat, was an absolute pleasure. We had drinks and appetizers (wings and Mahi Mahi Spread) that were both awesome. Both were excellent and I cam recommend both. The fish is smoked, so you need to like bold smoked fish, but it is superb. We drank the house old fashioned, which is made with Slow and Low. Again, it was Devine. I had a local lager style beet and it was really refreshing and a great example of what a micro lager should be. Overall, a great stop. Thank you so much, Kat!

This joint was jumping and packed on the inside as well as outside and it was pouring down raining lmao. The party went on and I loved it. The have a live band preforming on the right outside area, a DJ inside and a DJ in the 2nd outside area which is to the left. All of the music was good and the drinks were strong.

I've been living in the US for almost 3 years now and Erick was, by far, the best server that I've ever had. He was extremely accomodative and chill even when we were a big mess made out of 6 adults and a baby, with no idea of what to order. He is so cool that you will even want to have him as a friend of your own. The atmosphere was also very nice for our early lunch and so was the music. I highly recommend this place if you are around.

Fun pirate themed bar/restaurant. We had the cuban sandwich. It comes with fries. Nice crispy cuban bread with cheese ham, pickles. You will not leave hungry. Great place to sit back and relax for a while with some great food and drinks. The staff was very friendly. This is going to be our new hangout. Place is great! Pirate swag everywhere. You'll spend hours looking at all the mementos decorating the place, most of which were collected by the owner himself from around the world as a Merchant Marine. Indoor bar, tables, and a wall with multiple TV's. Outside bar on both sides. The bar on the east side has 2 fountains/grottoes, a bar, multiple tables, and a stage with live music. I got Wings with Carolina Reaper hot sauce. First time I've seen the sauce on a menu anywhere. Very plump and juicy wings and the Reaper sauce was HOT!!! Just wasn't as hot as expected, got it on the side just in case but my Ghost pepper sauce at home is a lot hotter. Nice big fries and I had the house Peg Leg Red lager which was fantastic. I knocked the rating down a star because service was quite slow, our waiters first night! Talked to Jo Jo the manager, and he was more than made up for it. He gave us a piece of key lime pie and a piece of chocolate bourbon pecan pie, either of which would be worth stopping in for! Just truly excellent pie! Also threw in another Peg Leg Red! They also have a gumball machine with ping pong balls to get your beer pong on!

I like themed bars and restaurants. They often have more to offer and are more memorable than an ordinary place for food and drink. I was in Tampa, Florida not long ago, searching for a place for drinks in Ybor City and the nearby establishment that was recommended online more than any other was Gaspar’s Grotto. This Tampa establishment is a pirate themed bar and this fact is more than evident the moment you walk inside. The walls are covered with pirate paraphernalia, pictures of ships, and other things related to pirates. There are statues, too, and with so much to look at, it is very easy to get distracted and lose focus. Gaspar’s Grotto is more than just a bar- it is a restaurant as well and it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many who visit here go for the Cuban sandwich or one of the pizzas. The centrally located bar is convenient for guests and the bartenders can mix up anything you like to wash down the food. I was more than pleased when I discovered the respectable number of local beers on tap. There is an outdoor patio at Gaspar’s Grotto also and it is common to find live entertainment, for added fun. A visit to Gaspar’s Grotto will likely standout for the pirate theme more than anything else, but the other standout feature is the prices. The drink prices are lower than those of surrounding bars and the food prices are more than reasonable, too. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited and discovered such quality beer offered for such a fair price. Themed bars are fun and Gaspar’s Grotto is certainly a fun place to visit. I took the advice of people online and visited Gaspar’s Grotto at their recommendation and I came away satisfied. The atmosphere, prices, and service all rate better than average and it earns an easy recommendation overall.

Randomly stopped in here for lunch while I was walking around Ybor, the decor and outside seating caught my attention. The server was great and suggested the Cuban, I added fries. It came in a reasonable amount of time and I don’t regret it. The pork I believe made the sandwich great. Will have to come back and try the wings.

Me and the fellas was heavy on Heineken's as you can see from the photo. But the bartender kept them coming which is all you can ask for.

The food is very good and the orders are out pretty fast, except on Saturday nights. But it's very busy there on those nights. So still well worth the wait. Drinks are decent and not watered down. Staff and bartenders are very nice and good at making their rounds. John the DJ is awesome so don't let his looks fool you. He plays music of all genres and karaoke is always fun to listen too. No cover charge to get in at the time of this post

We had googled taco places while in ybor city and this location came up. We ended up going but the waitress had advised they no longer had tavos so I was a bit disappointed in that. Very chintzy, but plays perfectly into Tampa's pirate history. The food was really good and the decor is just fun. I highly recommend the Spanish bean soup. Apparently it gets rowdy and loud at night based on walks past there, but for lunch it was quiet and good for chatting.

Came here for lunch only. The atmosphere and service were both good. Asked for a soda and they gave me a can, not sure if they normally serve all their soda for a can or not. The menu has a nice selection, but I came to try out the Cuban. It was good, but definitely not the best out of your options in ybor. The fries were very good though. The food was definitely more "bar food" than I thought it would be, but it's not always a bad thing.

Had a delightful Cuban. Good proportions of meat and bread, super fresh pickles, crispy yet soft from the press. Another surprise was the Long Pork sandwich. The side of jus really makes it! Service was super friendly. Attentive, but not over the top. And, sitting right on the Main Street, people watching on a perfect weather afternoon doesn't hurt!

I absolutely love this place..the food is always fresh and the service is always great..I come for both..Kelly our server is always friendly and polite and alway makes sure everything is ok.. I never eat at a restaurant more than 2 times but i wake up craving their food. I come here 3-4 times a month now since my first time. If you get a chance try their fish n chips the soup is delicious both the black bean and Abuelas red bean..the crab cake is to die for..and their cuban sandwich has to be one of the best ones I've ever had and dont let me forget the calamari ..its like butter in your mouth Today I will try something new and will post pictures after i figure out what i want.. they have such a big selection of food and drinks to choose from its hard to pick but im sure no matter what i pick ill be happy..I just have to say it again absolutely love this place! So i chose the Seafood and Pasta and it was amazing ..chunks of real crabmeat, oysters,clams,big shrimp and bowtie pasta..too much for one person..it was perfect!

Was ok. Prices are very cheap but my food was dry and the waiter forgot my orange juice and still put it on my bill. So I told her I never got my orange juice so she took it off my bill and have me a free small cup of orange juice. That was probably the best part of the whole experience.

My kid and I had a great Xmas night snack here! They we're short staffed due to the holiday, but they still took good care of us! It was nice to see Ybor without the crowds. Menu has a decent selection of Florida style favorites. Gaspar's is particularly popular with visitors, but plenty enjoyable for locals also. Music is at a reasonable level until about 8:45 pm when they crank it up to chase out the fogeys. Some nights they host live music on the patio. It's a bit overpriced, but people, you're in Ybor City. Enjoy some piratey fun! Tip your wait staff!

Service was not the best at all! I had to call the restaurant after being seated on the patio with no service after 10 minutes. It was karaoke night and it made it fun. The karaoke host quickly became very irritated by people coming up to sing and make requests. He seemed very one sided at times. None the less we left because the people were entertaining but he became unpleasant.

I guess this is probably the best restuarant in Ybor for a relaxing hang. Either inside, out front, or in the courtyard. There's something that always draws me here over all the nearby options, as long as it is not too crowded. Would be even better if the chairs were more comfortable. My fish sandwich was decent. Bread, fixings, and fish all were nicely fresh. It did not stay together well when bitten. Wait staff have a relaxed casual not fast service vibe that fits the overall atmoshere.

Gaspar's Grotto is nice, friendly staff, and decent prices. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries for lunch and it was good. Before 7pm you can get two of their own draft beer for $5 and I tried both of them and I lust say they were good. They played bad music, however, and the noise level was quite high.

Gaspar's Grotto is an AMAZING place to go is you want a spectacular brunch special. I was in the Tampa area for a concert and wanted to take my girlfriend out to somewhere special for Sunday brunch. Being from Washington D.C., my idea of a good brunch is a buffet style selection of high quality foods, and of course bottomless mimosas! This location ticked off every box. From the selection of high quality meats and seafood, to the champagne that's delivered to your table, to the different kinds of juice they provide to compliment the champagne (Guava, Orange, Mango, etc..). This place is truly a gem and if i ever make it back I will be sure to visit again!

Great drink specials, delicious wing flavors and roosters 🐓 to boot. My hubby and I shared 10 wings in a couple different sauces. I had the Moonshine BBQ which was sweet heat and hubby had the Carolina sauce which tasted like a sweet mustard. Fries were large with crunchy outsides and pillowy insides. Drink specials included $5 for 2 shots of whiskey and 2 beers! All in all, a great value in Ybor City.

I visited this week based on a recommendation of them having good food. They had a limited menu so I had the shrimp and crab quesadillas and my friend had the deviled crab. Both were decent, but not leaving me wanting to go back. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. My real complaint came when I paid my bill with cash. The waitress didn't bring back the correct amount of change. When I asked about it, she explained it is their policy to round up because they don't accept coins, but didn't tell me when I gave her the cash. It was only 30 cents, but if they do that with every cash paying customer, they are making extra money by stealing from their customers. Shame on them. For this reason, I will not go back.

Best breakfast in the area, I come here after class from HCC ybor campus sometimes. Not a far walk at all and the environment is super chill vibes. Wifi available for study time. Breakfast menu is simple, but good breakfast food doesnt need to be complicated, I like the home fries with sausage gravy and eggs. I've been here for lunch too, the fries (yes I love my potatoes lol) are AMAZING, and the hot wing flavors are unique and delicious! Service always takes really good care of me too, I love this little pirate ol ship.

I went at the 10:30 am brunch on 4 Nov 18. For $40 a person, the spread was incredible! We sat outside with a live guitarist playing and singing, great talent so that was pleasant. We were given a ticket to receive 3 ounces of vodka for the Bloody Mary Bar, for FREE. There were 8 different fruit juices for your Bottomless Mimosas! I highly recommend the Guava/Pineapple Juice mixed then add your champagne. There was traditional breakfast items, soup, various cold salads, cold bar with oysters/shrimp/crawdads, pasta/omelet bar & wonderful deserts with fondue. The customer service was outstanding!! Our server was Imani (I-mon-ee), she kept the champagne flowing, the laughs rolling, and suggestions for what to do next! She was fantastic! I highly HIGHLY recommend going for the experience, menu and atmosphere.

We had breakfast on Gasparilla Pirate Day before heading to the waterfront. The kitchen was slammed so we waited 45 minutes for our food. I still gave it 5 stars because the food & drinks were very good. Fun atmosphere & friendly staff. Definitely a must go while in Ybor City.

Waitress was a grump ..and yes they had just opened and plenty of staff on hand. The JUMBO wings were the smallest we’ve seen but the Carolina BBQ was yummy. Cuban was mediocre at best cold inundated with yellow mustard and warm but not hot. Very disappointed that they advertise brunch however it was just a menu. With little to offer. Understand Covid has done a lot to this market. May be willing to go back if or when they turn back into the amazing brunch place that use to be.

Cool outside patio with live music! Had an ice cold Floridian on tap. There was a guitar player who didn't know who Kings of Leon were when we asked him to play one of their songs. Lol. EDITED: We're regulars here and last time we were at Sunday brunch there was hair in the grits. This wouldn't happen if your kitchen crew wore hair nets. Servers, make sure you pay attention to what you bring out. We would hate to not come here anymore, but we continue to because we love the BOGO beer special.

The bartender was great. The food was delicious. I got the fish spread, which is far better than the name suggests. It tastes great and gets better tasting as you eat it. Weird, I know, but it's the truth. Unfortunately, they lose a star because it was served with saltiness, instead of a decent cracker, plus, their food menu is extremely limited. They blame covid for that, which is untrue, because everywhere I go, kitchens are staffed.

EXCELLENT! Had the Cuban w/Fries. Oh my goodness 😳 the fries were so good just as they come seasoned deliciously. The Cuban was so, so BIG and so, so delicious 😋 I would highly recommend. We saw alot of other foods pass by our table so we will definitely be back to try them as well. Great decor. We ate outside on this beautiful day and it looks like it would be a great time during the evenings as well!

I don't go to Ybor City much but when I do, I always seem to stop by Gaspar's Grotto. The atmosphere is perfectly Tampa... Tons of pirate and nautical memorabilia hanging all over the place... Nice bartenders... good food... Great drinks... I'm really not sure what more you could want in a place to hang out with friends. Edit... return trip. Of course nothing has changed but I did try the pot stickers tonight with sweet Thai chili sauce. Wow... You gotta try those!

Working near by for a few weeks and I have eaten here a few times because the guy I go to lunch with is in love with one of the Bartenders. I have had the wings which are GREAT. The Cuban which all I have to say is they used yellow american cheese...I'm way to much of a Cuban to even consider that to be ok so I say pass on that. Also the pork tasted as if it was not prepared properly. The Fried Chicken sandwich was also not very good. I also liked the Chicken Quesadilla, I had the small size which with the fries was almost too much. That is one thing I will say, the portions are very generous. Overall cool place to hang and have wings and fries.

Gaspars Grotto was a great place to eat and drink. Lots of food and drink options for anyone and we really enjoyed eating out on the patio. Great atmosphere. Our only issue was service. We waited over 10 minutes after being seated to get drinks. Even longer to order food. When it came time to pay the bill, we could have just walked away. We never saw our server again. We had to go inside and tell them our whole order and pay so we could leave. Would go back again for the food and atmosphere but I think we just had bad luck with our server. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Went there for lunch on Saturday with family. Great atmosphere and ambiance but lots of hiccups. First, we weren’t sure if we had to seat ourselves or wait to be seated so I asked a waitress who told us to go see the hostess. When we went to see the hostess she unnecessarily commented that everyone has been ignoring her and we should just seat ourselves. Second, we ordered an appetizer that never came. Thankfully we never charged for it but not sure what happened there. Third, we were sitting at a table that was on the way to the restroom and there was barely a gap for anyone to pass behind me. Most people went around the table since there was a lot more space but one waiter squeezed himself behind me and shoved my chair out of the way as I was eating. Seriously? Fourth, one of us found pork cartilage inside her Cuban sandwich and there was a long hair in mine. Yikes. This could have been a fantastic dining experience but unfortunately a lot of the details were overlooked and left a sour taste in our mouth. Next time we’re in town we’ll check out another place. Also, is there a reason why coke is served in a bottle as opposed to a fountain drink?

The place also has the option of being booked for events. Overall the visit was great and is highly recommended. OMG the Cuban pork was the best I have ever had. My 4 year old loved her grilled chicken as well and the staff was amazing!

It is very hard to find a spot to park unless u park at a garage and walk to this restaurant. I liked the live band outside and the atmosphere. There was a good portion of food but my food was VERY greasy. My wife's food came out warm not hot. Her food came out but not the condiments she asked for with it. By the time it came out her food was cold. Our waiter was horrible. He didn't refill my drink unless I asked and had to ask several times for someone to get him. I'm on the fence with this place. It's probably a great place to go night time but not for lunch.

The outdoor seating due to Covid is what draws me here. The drink specials are another plus. Who really gives you 2 draft beers and a shot or sometimes 2 for less than $6.00. This place is laid back is have two outdoor seating areas and an indoor section. I didn't go indoors only stayed on the larger outdoor patio area. I normally go for the wings and drinks. This time the food took a lot a bit longer than normal the drinks never fail me here. I recommend this place especially if everything gets back to normal they do live bands sometimes. Stopped in kind of by chance after just walking around. Thought we (my wife & I) would give it a try after just coming from the distillery of the same name a few block away. It was early afternoon so there was zero crowd at the time. The staff was pretty friendly. We just order a thin crust pizza & a few drinks. The pizza was very good being a pizza lover anyway. They had specials on the drinks which is always nice. I could picture this place being very different as far as being crowded later that night. Especially with its location plus good eats & drink specials . . . you do the math.

When you eat breakfast at a place that's open as a full restaurant and bar until late at night, you kind of know what you're getting into. It's probably gonna feel like they're not quite done cleaning up, and smell like stale beer and pine sol. And those were true, BUT the food was very good, the breakfast menu was inexpensive, the service was fine, and it's one of the few places open in at 7 AM in the area! When we left I noticed there was a huge outdoor seating area, and I'm sure that would have been a fresher feeling place to have breakfast. Next time! So not perfect but recommended anyway - lots of local color for sure.

Drinks served quick and properly. The staff is always friendly and the servers and bartenders are all very wick to make your drinks. There are 2 outside areas with bars. The one side has a band play as well as karaoke night. The opposite outdoor area usually has a DJ paying a good mix of the top hits. Inside is pirate themed and always cool. You can definitely start your night or day off right by starting here or even ending here.

Went here for the Sunday Brunch, we showed up early and sat in the patio before the service started. The hosts didn't bother coming to get us when the service began and we nearly were not seated for the Brunch. The quality of food on the brunch service wasn't good. The better food options would run out quickly and not be promptly restocked. The crab legs were not very fresh and the shells were difficult to snap as they were rather floppy. The bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary bar are the only things that make this brunch a value.

Went for Sunday brunch, and it was excellent. A nice variety of food. Prime rib was much better than a typical buffet. You get 3 ounces of vodka to make your own bloody mary or screwdriver. Plus a bottle of champagne brought to the table. They seat 2 shifts, so you are limited to 2 hours or less which wasn't a problem. Price is not cheap but totally worth it.

At night it gets a lot busier and often has live music outside in their large outdoor area. Inside gets a little bit cramped when it's busy. They have drink specials, not sure about food though.

Not only did they make us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived with a great attitude and friendly service, but they both went out of their way to help me find a diamond stud earring that I lost by the patio bar recently (while pulling my hair back) on a very busy Thursday night. The first time was 2 years ago, and I must say they are consistent because it was just as much fun then. We roll about 30 deep and we were inside and outside. The music was excellent regardless of where we were.

Not a bad joint. The food is good but the mood completely changes on weekend nights in favor of a more night club atmosphere with hip hop and dance music. This may be normal for most places but the difference between a weekday afternoon and a weekend night really threw us.

Bloody mary didn't have snacks and cost 12.00...disappointed but the rest was good. Apparently the owner did t read my review as I will not be back..I was disappointed. Left a 5 star becthe place was nice and my group enjoyed themselves. But paying that amount for a dissatisfied drink..I won't be returning.

We had a wonderful time! Never waited for a drink and our bartender was upbeat and positive the entire time that we were there. Emily was just awesome! After speaking to another customer who knew her, we found out that Emily had had a very rough day, but we would have never known by her attention and attitude! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Came here with a few co-workers who were introducing me to the area. There was an excellent cover band on in the Patio area. The drinks were fairly priced and the atmosphere was excellent. I had a really wonderful time and will revisit this bar sooner than later. I'd recommend it to anyone that would participate in any kind of bar scene. Very solid place.

Their tostones appetizer with guava sour cream is amazing. I was disappointed that they did not have the same cheese on it as described in the menu (quesa fresco was replaced by what seemed to be 3 cheese blend). It was not brought to my attention by the server that there was a substitute. It changed the flavor but still tasty. The Cuban bread was yummy as well.

Great service, good food, fun atmosphere. Family and dog friendly. We always sit out on the patio, which is great, but the inside is nice too. They usually have some kind of fun entertainment and host pirate events as well.

Well decorated with plenty of interior and exterior space. There are two patios for outside seating that accommodate well for live performances. Not a stellar selection of draft beer but adequate. They also have bottled beer, again not a huge selection. The beer choice is more geared toward the masses. They have a full spirits selection and food menu.

The BarTender & WaitStaff were AMAZING, The Attitude is UpBeat, the Interestingly International Customer Base is COOL, & Ryan Marchand, the Uber FUN, FAB Musician who played 2Day, was the PERFECT Topping on the Cake!!! Tho' SADly, it's Quite Far from our HomeBase, we will most CRTNly B BACK!
