The food was delicious! This is one of the best hidden gem restaurants in Tampa. I love the inventive menu and learning about how the owner travels often to be inspired by dishes around the world... mostly the Middle East. We ordered a lot of food!!! A lot! It was all unbelievably good... pricy but worth it. My favorites were the bone marrow, the steak, and the desserts. It is very busy and tables are very close together so it's not very intimate especially since they had the football game playing and a huge table/party yelling and cheering for their team but usually it's upscale. The decor is nice and the service is very good! I highly recommend it. We even ordered scallops to go, and they were delicious!

The good-the food is presented beautifully and is very flavorful and delicious.
The rest- Blah. The service was blah-mediocre at best.
While the food was plated well and delicious, it wasn’t anything special. Stating “inventive plates inspired by the chef’s experience “ was simply-dishes the chef had eaten at other places and decided to put on the menu.
Every dish we had was exactly as it is in other restaurants. There was nothing special about the menu, food, or restaurant. I was expecting something different.
We started with the seared tuna on mango salad. Which is exactly what we got. Nothing special-nothing different-it was a mango salad you could eat at any Thai restaurant and seared tuna you can get anywhere. The steak-was good-but again, you can get a steak anywhere. There wasn’t any spin on the dishes-three stars because the food was delicious.

Service was impeccable, our waiter was attentive and knew the menu perfectly. Potato-crusted oysters and savoy cabbage roll were delicious! New York Strip was spot on, though the fermented flavor in the black beans that came with it was off-putting. The octopus was very tasty, but the rest of what came on its plate was bland. Malted banana Kulfi and Sweet Corn sugar crusted butter cake are both delicious.

Edison is the best food in Tampa in my opinion. The staff is friendly, passionate about their food, knowledgeable, and makes great recommendations. The food itself is art on a plate. If mouthwatering was an Olympic sport, this place would take all medals.
Ask for Mathew, he helped with our choices and made sure my selections were safe (given my food allergies. ) We will be returning and looking forward to combinations of flavors that haunt my taste buds dreams in the best way possible.

This dinner was truly exquisite. I wish I could give ten stars! The drinks were strong and tasty. The meal was a burst of flavors and fantastic. We ended with the pavlova and it was the most memorable dessert I have ever had. If you want to expand your range in flavors— make your reservation at this place now!

Chefs kiss 👌🏻 I booked a reservation here back in August on a work trip for my boss's birthday. From the service to the drinks to the food, this place did not disappoint! The octopus was slightly over cooked, but considering my boss embarrassingly ordered a very well done steak.. I can see why my dish was affected. They even brought out a nice little cake and candle for us to wish him a happy bday. Highly recommend!

This is a chef ownedrestaurant, they say that. But taste it and experience it. I did the 5 course tasting, with wine. The layers of flavor have blown me away. I appreciate the combinations of flavors. LISTEN to your server what I thought was olive oil was a chili oil boy that woke me up on a good way! If your looking for some quality dining make a reservation and go on in. The food is phenomenal the service is out of this world! Treat yourself you deserve it!

What a wonderful experience we had here. Loved all of the food and the drinks. The food was amazing and out of this world delicious! Definitely coming back. There menus changes all the time. Every experience here will be a new one. I love it! They also catered to my dog hank and I appreciated that so much.

Ok dining experience. Customer service was very good! Each server knew the dishes and drinks in detail. The starters and drinks were creative…and the menu apparently changes frequently. Unfortunately, the main courses we had (monkfish stew and pork chop) had a few issues. Both dishes were generally under seasoned, the potatoes in the fish stew were undercooked, and the pork chop I had was unevenly cooked, so it was a bit dry in some areas. There’s emphasis placed on combining the ingredients of each dish in every bite, which we did. It helped, but the lack of seasoning was still an issue. I’d still recommend this place…the ambiance and potential is there.

I am always impressed by the quality and creativity of the food here, and by the kindness and helpfulness of all of the staff! One of my favorite restaurants in Tampa. I would highly recommend their monthly tasting menus, which have some of the most creative options I've seen. The pics here are from October's, and include fun twists on fair foods and autumn flavors, from smoked salmon with paprika cotton candy to duck with apple mochi and black sesame puree! Thanks to my great waitress Stephanie for her kind helpfulness and knowledgeable guidance on each of the courses!
