We liked this spot a lot. Marie was our server and was very nice & helpful. She helped date night to be so much fun. We got the Roasted Wings with the potatoes and the Chicken Kabobs with an additional side sweet potatoes fries. Everything was tasty and prepared in a lighter way. The menu is pretty straightforward which makes everything easy. Leftovers the next day was wonderfully nice as well.

I really like this restaurant, conveniently located on Bay Street at International Plaza. Julian was our server. He was very attentive. We opted to dine outside which is a nice place for people watching. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was exactly as ordered. The shrimp salad was tasty. I’m sure I’ll visit again in the near future.

Solid place. Was a bit in a rush but I was served quickly for my food and drinks. I had the honey chicken sandwich with feta cheese on it and some French fries. The sandwich in the pic looks a little sad but it was good. Next time I would ask for more honey in the side as that definitely adds to the flavor. The French fries were really good. I didn’t plan on eating them all but I did.

Great service, perfectly cooked food, and the drinks were creative and unique! Their grilled artichoke appetizer is my personal favorite, simply seasoned with salt, olive oil 🫒, and a nice fire 🔥 kissed char but the flavor is so complex and the texture of the choke becomes so tender you can eat almost the entire leaves, I can't really explain just how good that dish truly is... if you like artichokes this appetizer will quickly win your heart! Also, their chimichuri steak is very good, and their Danish ribs are unbelievably tender and flavorful. This is my favorite place to meet for business meals, always impresses, and their booths feel secluded and private.

Cool restaurant at the International Mall here in Tampa. They have a solid menu and feature home made sauces. While the things I ordered were presented and cooked very well, I really felt like there was a little “flavor” missing. Maybe a dash of sea salt or something else savory on the wings, for example. The new ginger salad was cool but just missing something in the palate for my taste. My friend ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich and substituted the Tuna patty for chicken and she loved it. She a little extra though so… lol. The reef donkey beer is delicious and I got a Beet-juice cocktail to get some superfood vitamins in my drank. Rating 3 stars because I just think there could be a little more flavor.

First off, don't be fooled into thinking this place isn't all that because it's a restaurant in a mall area. This place is the real deal. My little brother loves this place and wanted to share his experience with his siblings and our mom. Lauren (tall light skinned with curly hair) was our server and she was fantastic. We made reservations for the 6 of us around 5pm on a Saturday, so of course the place was a little busy. But to our luck service, food, and even drinks came out pretty quickly. The food was absolutely superb. We had the "Number Six" chicken sandwich, the ribs, the steak, wedge burger and turkey burger. Everything was fantastic. So much so that we asked the manager to tell the chef to turn around so we could thank him with a standing ovation. One of the managers (gentleman Average height with long brown hair, with Star Wars tattoo) was so kind and hospitable. And the other manager (young lady with short blonde hair) was so kind to have offered our family some desserts as we were celebrating our mother and just good ol family time. Literally one of the best dinner nights our family has had. We will definitely be coming back and will have to make sure they have room for more of us!

Very delicious food and great environment. I had a waitress with a great personality and I think he really made my experience outstanding. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and my other friends had different dishes. None of us were disappointed. Give them a try and tell them Pam sent you.

This place right here is absolutely amazing!! The drink list could be altered or revamped but the food needs nothing but some hungry patrons. The burger was fire. The chicken nuggets were as well. Kobb salad with shrimp, turkey burger, crispy chicken sandwich and I'm absolutely sure EVERYTHING is as well!!

Visited this location on 12/5 and ordered the West coast steak sandwich. The steak was mediocre at best with no flavor and it had alot of fat on it for being filet Mignon. The drink was good but wouldn’t return. I remember when this location first opened and the food was great! It was around covid that the locations food went downhill. It’s unfortunate because there was a time I used to come weekly before covid.

Had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, which was marinated for 24 hours, served with coleslaw, dijon honey & house habanero barbecue for dipping instead of regular bbq sauce. It was delicious! Very crispy with a nice crust. I got 2 big portions, 1 dark and 1 white meat both boneless. With skin intact. I also had a side of fresh cut shoestring fries not shown. I believe seasoned with salt, garlic and a herb I could not identify (for color).

Service was absolutely amazing!! Nick (our server) made us feel so welcome! He never let our water glasses go empty and always checked in with us to make sure that everything was good. All the servers were very kind and attentive. And the food was deliciousss! Portion sizes were perfect. We had a wonderful experience!

Food, drinks and service were great. We had a group of 8 and called ahead. They were happy to accommodate. Wings and Guac appetizers were yummy. Everyone was happy with their meal. The key lime pie dessert was fantastic as were all the desserts we had. Stop in if you can. I would be shocked if you weren't happy with the food and service.

Came in with my fiancée and our son. ❤️ The staff here is so nice! We were checked on by multiple people and everyone clearly works together and helps each other. The manager even stopped by and was so kind! Everyone is super personable, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is nice, clean, and cozy! Thanks for a wonderful experience. Kay ordered the Wedge burger and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. The garlic sauce was phenomenal and Konrad’s egg was perfect. The best part of the experience was our waiter, Antonio. He was very sweet, attentive, and the best one handed water pourer. I attempted to order the candied bacon and it wasn’t ready. After about 20 min he brought out a sample of the bacon (which was delicious) and it was complimentary! Tell me where you may be able to get free bacon with the inflation rate these days?! Thanks, Antonio! We will be back!

Server Noelle was great. However, they were out of draft beer. Soft drinks were 3/4 ice or more. Had a fried chicken sandwich which was just so so. Got regular fries which was a very small order and must have been bottom of bag as they were all the super small pieces.

We hadn't been to doc B's for a while but we were delighted that the service and the food has remained stable. We had an excellent lunch with great service and would go back at any time. It's nice to know that they were able to get through COVID and maintain the quality of service and food

First time customers, Friday at 6pm. They were busy but that didn't bother us. Front door staff were very nice and very helpful. Food was average, waiter was nice but not super attentive. We had to ask for refills, check etc. Overall a nice place, drinks average cost, food was hot and well prepared.

Place was awesome! Chase was our server and gets 5 stars for being awesome. He knew everything and his service was on point. We sat outside and it was great. Chicken wing were small but amazing and we had a steak wok bowl split for two and some chicken littles, everything was delicious. I’m putting this on my list of recommendations for friends that come to town and will be back regularly myself. Thanks to the Doc B staff for a job well done.

Clean, well run. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Menu was contemporary with good meaty and vegetarian options. Food and service were timely, Candied Bacon app and Chimichurri Steak were delicious and perfectly cooked. The roasted broccoli side had a perfect amount of char without tasting scorched. Key lime pie was obviously made in house with amazing crust. Really a total win!

My family and I had such a wonderful time here. Two things Doc B's know is Service and Great food! My waiter McCoy was phenomenal. Lindsey was also treated us with impeccable service. I love how they connect with you as a patron. Now the food is 🤤🤤🤤🤤. I can eat those chicken littles everyday with no sauce. The grilled salmon, the wedge burger were also fantastic. Coming from out town Doc B's nailed it as one of my families new destinations. Thanks!

First time here last night, crowded, had to wait a long time for food. Our waitress brought us candied bacon and comped my wife's non alcoholic drink. A short while later the manage stopped at our table to apologize. A few minutes after that another manager stopped to apologize and comped both of our meals. Our food arrived, piping hot and incredibly delicious. No one wants to overwait for food but they made our wait pleasurable and could not have it better. Thanks

I don't know y'all are going thru with these 4 and 5 star reviews! Everything here is edible, not great, and hideously overpriced. I feel like we paid triple the money for Applebee's level food. I mean, you've got to have some balls to charge $26 for 2 pieces of fried chicken, or $17 for a guac appetizer!!! They got us for $200, but there won't be any repeat business. I do want to point out that Brandon was on the ball. Very attentive and responsive.

The food here is amazing, don't get me wrong. I will absolutely come back because it is that good, but the service is usually not. We often have empty cups and dishes stacked on the table before staff notice, and we find ourselves waiting longer than normal for the check.

It's like a pricey Ghengis Grill. Fourth star for the healthy menu options and location, took a star for the price, lack of menu variety, horrible cocktail creations, and weak drinks. Ordered their spicy candied bacon as a starter. It is novelty, and I could see why people like it. It's decadent and fun just not my thing. Hubby enjoyed it. I ordered the seared ahi tuna with quinoa and grilled veggies, got the sweet & spicy thai sauce and the other sauce on the side. Everything was delicious. The dish tasted great without the sauce, but the sauce was delicious on it too! Everything there could conceivably be vegetarian I think. So that's a plus. Hearty protein choices as well. Nice lively location in a Thursday evening. Didn't hate it, just not itching to go back.

Went here unexpectedly but was happy the restaurant was following social distancing guidelines. Our waiter was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. The menu seemed to lack options and was a bit pricey in my opinion ($15 guacamole & sweet potato chips). Overall the food was tasty and we were satisfied.

This was the my first time eating here and I must say the food was delicious the shrimp tacos is a must. The staff was nice and friendly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was our waitress wasn't that engaging I want it to know more about the menu. The chicken sandwich was a little dry. Even though I loved the shrimp tacos it needed more shrimp. But I definitely will go back.

My new favorite place!!! What an awesome experience. Haley was our waitress and she was super sweet and very attentive. I love the teamwork by the staff here. We never had to wait for anything we ordered as any staff member available would bring you your order. The manager Genevieve came by and chatted with us to see how everything was going and we had nothing but good things to say. I mentioned that my Mom had a birthday in a couple days and that we'd be back soon. They brought my mom a slice of cake with a candle and wished her a very happy upcoming birthday. The food was amazing. We had the guacamole with sweet potatoes chips for an appetizer (this is huge) and we split the dragon burger. Everything was excellent, very tasty. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, the food, the staff and the manager. Can't wait to go back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A splendid dining experience at the restaurant. Parki g was bit of an issue at the ground level and then the climb up to the restaurant level. The decor is a bit funky. Outside seating area with a gas flame burner casting warmth. Had their Dragon Burger which was very good. The other cheeseburger was also good. Beer selection is a bit limited - FL ale was not good but the IPA was good.

Been here twice and each time I’ve had a good experience. The establishment itself had a very modern, hip vibe with an open kitchen. The outside patio is nice as well. The service is very good. The guacamole with sweet potato chips are sooo good and would highly recommend. I also enjoy the “knuckle sandwich” which is a lobster roll and pretty good. The French fries are super good! I give 4 stars because it’s a little pricey for just above average food. Overall, I enjoy it and would recommend you try.

Doc B's is delicious. My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day and had great food and good happy hour specials. We got reservations from Open Table. It was about $65 for our meal, including 2 drinks from the bar.

If you’re looking for some good soulful food, great portions, and excellent service, Doc B’s is a must visit. Located in International Mall, their food flavoring is that of Chicago styled taste. It’s delicious!! The service is quick and friendly. Decent value prices. Love the vibe at this location. It has inside and outside dining. Anywhere from salads to chicken and great salmon dishes!

Came in with a large group of friends, and we had a great time! The large center table is amazing, we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The sweet potato chips are the best, the wings are great, and I loved the beetle juice cocktail! Jared recommended all of these and also was a great server, ask for him if you come in. Very tasty food all around. Had the steak frites Friday special and it was cooked well with good garlicky salt on the fries. My niece and nephew accompanied us and they have a kids menu (just ask) with great quality food. The nephew loved his burger. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Only downside is the restaurant is a bit loud, but that's expected with the location. We will be back.

First off our server Tim was fantastic, we dined in around 8pm on friday and service was great from him and the rest of the staff. Whenever myself or my wife were finished with a plate the staff quickly removed it off our table so we weren’t sitting in filthy plates. Every member of the staff was very nice and helpful, nothing to complain with the food either! Food was great, definitely will be coming back to DocB’s. i was very impressed!

This evening my family and I decided to dine here as a celebration of how far we’ve come as a family and it was more than any of us could ever ask for. Great food, drinks and service.. but I was disappointed after they threw away an obviously important document that I accidentally left on my table. It was a letter with a medial letterhead and signed by my doctor. I returned not even 10 minutes after I left my table to be told they threw them away. My table was booked via reservation with my name and phone number. They should have at least kept the documents in a lost in found or called me to let me know they had them.

This is Lindsey’s son kyle I’m 9 years old I eat this atleast once a week and I love it every time it always changes each time it gets better and better There fries are so good I eat 5 at a time also it’s a place that’s not so crowded and a good place to get food on a time crunch thanks for all the good food

Surprised by the amount of restaurants located here in this mall area but wanted to eat before going to the airport and chose this one based on reviews. Think I made the right decision. Good food and service. Got the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. Husband got the chicken stir fry. It wasnt out of this world but it was good. Recommend for a quick meal here if you don't want airport food.

The food here is amazing, very fresh, hot, and well balanced. My husband, who always sends back steak even at the best steakhouses, was impressed by their filet. It was cooked correctly and full of flavor. They have good non meat options, I got a tofu bowl and it was great. Our server Tim was kind and informative, gave good advice on food, and was very personable. We will absolutely be back!

Moved to St. Pete/Tampa area a few months ago and I've been on the hunt for good restaurants. I try and avoid the mall but Doc B's looked nice the last time I was there. Came in and was greeted by friendly staff. Seems like everyone here is pretty happy, the food is great, and my wife and I had a great time!

Have the Knife and Fork Cobb! It came with a crispy chicken cutlet (fried) that was perfectly cooked and a vinaigrette already mixed into the salad which had greens, blue cheese, and cornbread croutons. Can't wait to have it again.

Was recommended to come here by a few friends that lived in Tampa, well worth the drive from St. Pete! I had Jared as a server and he had great banter and recommendations. We had awesome margaritas, and the steak sandwich was amazing. Any time I swing by the mall I make sure I stop in now.

Definitely on the pricey side, but you're paying for quality. I'm updating my last review to include more dishes I've tried. Follow the advice of other Yelpers and get the house made guacamole. It is seriously good. I'm a huge guacamole snob because I like avocados. I like seeing chunks of avocados in my guacamole and I want the taste to be mainly avocados. I don't like all the filler other places add to their guac. This guac right here is amazing. It is made up of mainly avocados and the sweet potatoes chips are a fun addition. The unhealthy part of me would like tortilla chips, but these tasted good with it too. I also got the Cajun Fish Sandwich. It was a solid choice. - just the right amount of seasoning and a nice sturdy bun. I decided to be healthy and I got it with a kale slaw. I'm a fan of their kale dishes (read past review about kale salad) so I knew I wouldn't feel super deprived going with kale slaw. Also, I got my fill of less than healthy food with the sweet potato chips. This place is definitely a little more money than I'm willing to spend on a given meal ($14 for guacamole!) but I'm trying hard not to put a price on my health right now. Would I eat here every day? Probably not. But on the occasion that someone says let's eat at International Plaza, this is one of my top choices.

This place is delicious and reasonably priced. The guacamole comes with sweet potato chips which is such a good salty and sweet combo. The Brussels sprout salad tastes like a Cesar salad version and the tuna wok out bowl is to die for.

One of the best spots to eat in Tampa. Doc B's offers delicious takes on modern meals, with some healthy twists added in. This is by no means, a Health Conscious food spot, however, they do cook things with simplicity and calories in mind. Always enjoy the bar, as the drinks are expertly crafted, and at each high-top, you'll be treated to 'Candied Bacon', instead of stale bar nuts. Pictured are some of the delicious desert options, the Tres Leches, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cheesecake. These are two of my favorites, and as always, I go for the Fried Chicken, with garlic aioli on the side. I enjoy this restaurant very much, and believe that there is an option for everyone here at Doc Bs.

Went in late last night to grab a couple of drinks. There was a high demand, large birthday party that got seated around the same time as us. The service was very accommodating even though the very large party was demanding and rude, I saw the service team kick butt and do an amazing job. As a former restaurant worker this team is amazing. I felt bad when I saw the birthday party complaining, as they took the attention of the entire crew with their high demands. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt it was warranted after what I saw last night. I talked to the manager, Dimitri, let them know what a great job they did. This large demanding party defiantly took attention away from our table, but the staffs services more than made up for it. I commend the service staff for the great job the they did. Our food was amazing hot and fresh and was well worth the wait

I came to doc b after a shopping trip with my girls at the mall. Cam was our bartender. He was so attentive and went above and beyond to meet me and all of my friends every single need. I love this place! It's a great restaurant for lunch, whether you want salad or a sandwich or burger, and it's also really nice at dinnertime, not very noisy. There are some great items on the menu like the Dragon Burger, and some good mixed drinks like their martini. I go here fairly regularly when I'm in the area. The dining is a bit more upscale (think 'corporate casual') but the pricing is good for that level of quality.

I visited Doc B's over the weekend for dinner and had a fantastic experience! My friend and I were immediately greeted by our friendly server named Josh. He was super attentive and gave great menu recommendations! We tried the housemade guacamole and brussels sprouts salad. Both were super fresh and flavorful. We also had the lovely manager named Lindsay stop over to our table to greet us and ask about our meals. She was a delight to talk to and we could tell she really enjoyed the work she does for the restaurant. I would definitely recommend Doc B's to anyone looking for a delicious meal at the mall!

Food was great but don't expect ordinary menu items. Go there with an open mind and you will love they bring you. I had my first turkey burger there and I don't think I will order another anywhere else because it won't be as good as the one I had a Doc B's. My guest had the amazing steak sandwich. The service was as good as the food. We were there during a busy lunchtime but never had to ask for a refill or to have dishes removed. Nice atmosphere; people of all persuasions and mixed to casual attire. It was great for a casual lunch meeting.

Servers are also usually polite, professional, prompt, and attentive towards their customers! The food here is just mouth-watering and exceptionally delicious!! I usually get the sweet potato chips with the guacamole as an appetizer and then the barbecue chicken club as my entree. Great service. Great food. We have dined here at least 10 times and everything I've tried has left me happy. This has become my new favorite restaurant. I remember one visit, the server was bringing our drinks and the bottom of the glass completely split off as if the glasses had just come out of the dishwasher. This was totally not the servers fault but the manager decided to comp the entire bill. Great tasting food is what keeps me coming back but the great service is a plus. This was a tough one...The good part is that the drinks are decent.. However we waited almost an hour to be seat (an come to find out they forgot about me and my friend). I ordered the oven roasted wings which were also really good , but the prob was with the Carnitas Sandwich (slow roasted pork, coleslaw, pickle & a thick onion ring with bbq) it was almost as if I was eating something that was sitting under a heating lamp for hours! Amazing service and delicious food. Our server made phenomenal recommendations for drinks and food, our glasses were never empty for more than a minute. The chimichuri wings and chimichuri steak were fantastic. We also had a goat cheese tomato bisque with a grilled cheese that we would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a nice acidic twang to a classic tomato soup and grilled cheese combo. Chimichuri sauce on the fries is delicious. The food is only surpassed by the fantastic service provided by Andy. This was our first time here and will not be the last!

Good restaurants We went there 6/13/2020 when people are not dining out a lot. The waiters all wear masks and keep the place clean. There were about 6 tables full. The food came in about 15 mins. I ordered carnitas sandwiches and it's over seasoned and taste like barbecue sauce. The fry is fresh and tasty. Oven chicken wings are good. Chicken sandwiches are good. The waiters are attentive and helpful. But the food is mediocre.

I have been a handful of times and I have had different drinks, not once did they screw up a drink. bartenders are on point with there mixes. My favorite is the mules, which if you are a mule lover can be a hit or miss anywhere you go but here, fantastic. Food is just the same, I had there burgers and other sandwiches and a few different apps, never disappointed. Service is fun and welcoming and seem to like working there by way they are enthused by what you're getting.

We, a family of three, visited Doc B's Fresh Kitchen in Tampa a Friday evening. We ordered a kids hamburger with extra bacon and fries, and two bowl with chicken and salmon respectively. The kids hamburger and fries was great, except for the rather pricy up charge of $3 for two slices of bacon. The salmon bowl with brown rice and sweet and sour sauce was delicious. The chicken bowl with quinoa was not. The chicken was burned and the entire dish tasted burned. We shared the salmon and the manager took the chicken bowl of the check. The restaurant itself i chick, but it was a bit cold inside that day. Decent prices, and good service. I would come back, but Doc B's might want to focus kitchen and waiters on a final quality check of the food before serving.

Had dinner at Doc B's on Monday night. My buddy was leaving with the Air Force and for his "last meal" so to speak he wanted a burger. We figure Doc B's would be the best place to go. We ordered the Dragon Burger with turkey patty and a regular old cheeseburger. The waitress asked for a temp on the burger; medium-rare was requested. The burgers took a long time and when we received them the cheeseburger was very overdone. We did ask for a new one, the server helped without a question, and the manager came over and apologized. The replacement burger was exactly what we ordered. Prices were good. Monday night had an all day happy hour menu, one of the burgers was on it. There was also a promotion for 30% off all bills over $30. Spending $11 + tip per person instead of $16 + tip each, this definitely helped with the error on the first burger.

Guacamole with sweet potato chips is excellent (a pleasant surprise), sandwiches are great, staff goes beyond your expectations at a place like this. They have a staff member walking around doing nothing but making sure your water is filled. While it may not be on the menu, they do have dessert but it's always changing, as our waitress explained.

Usually have a great experience here. Came in last night. Ordered the steak sandwich which is always fantastic and tried something else new , the hot chicken. Took a bite of the hot chicken and neither of us at the table liked it so we split the steak sandwich. When the server came back we told her we weren’t a fan when she offered to box it up. She never offered or asked us if we would like a menu to order something else. Manager never came and touched table to follow up. She just dropped the check with the originals meals and went on her way....

We shared a Wedge salad and the Salmon which normally comes with a kale salad but we swapped out a quinoa salad. The kitchen split everything for us before serving it which was really nice, so we were each served individually. The portions were huge. We did not leave hungry. We like our salmon medium rare and it came out perfectly. The serving team worked in perfect unison. There was never a dirty plate left on our table, someone, not always our waitress, was cleaning up after us.

They get 5 stars from me for packing leftovers in recyclable/compostable materials: paper bag and cardboard box. So refreshing seeing this business trying to stay away from styrofoam and plastic. My husband wanted a little pink and his was cooked all the way through. So they took it back and had to remake it, that was annoying. A manager came over to our table and said sorry. I had lunch today, first time after the COVI closure. I was expecting the same quality meal we had prior to the pandemic. It was a disappointing experience (service as always was excellent). I can accept the reduced menu, but not the reduced portions. Both myself and my wife had a chicken dish. The service portion was fast food sandwich size, not like it was when they used to serve you 2 nice pieces of boneless chicken breast for each chicken entree. Please do not ruin your brand by drastically cutting back on the serving portions. Even when you tell let me that your chicken is healthier, when you throw on the grill a less than 1/2 inch piece of chicken its going to be dry. And that was not what I was expecting from them. I would rather pay a little more for my meal, but don't skimp on the food. I will return in about a month to see if they have returned, at least in portion size, to what it was like prior to COVID - thanks a lot COVID, something else you ruined!

Me and my girl friend came for dinner on Tuesday night. The food was delicious, but a bit over priced. The service was a bit OVERWHELMING, in the hour we were there at least 6 different employess walked by, asking to take our plates before we were done, it really interrupted our dinner. At one point we went the rest room, and theu cleared thebrest of our food away! The server was nice enough to offer to make more, but we were over it by then. I have 15 plus years of experience in hospitality, and even though they had good intentions, they should have given us some breathing room, to relax and enjoy our meal. I will probably be hesitant on dining there again. Piece of advice. advise service staff to Read the table, so they know how much attention they require, everyone is different.

The food was just mouth watering delicious. The scene is very hip but not pretentious at all. The dining room has some TV's set in strategic areas and it can get a bit noisey but it's manageable. I ordered the Carnitas Sandwich served with coleslaw and a large onion ring on a toasted bun. The pork was tender, juicy and tasty. I also ordered the Kale salad as a side (comes with one side) that was delicious with a great flavored dressing. I was very pleased with the portion size that I thought was more than adequate. My business partner ordered the Cajun Fish Sandwich with sweet potato fries. He was impressed with the flavor of the fish and sajun seasoning which he thought was perfect. I sampled the fries and they cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, courteous, professional and quick. A perfect business lunch spot as they were busy but got us in and out pretty quickly.

There is not enough room to write ALL of the great things about this Chicago hailing restaurant. Incredibly cool modern interior design hits you when you walk in with great tunes and the smell coming off the open kitchen. The top menu items to consider would be: fried chicken sandwich, the fried chicken meal, the Cobb Salad, the Quinoa bowls, chicken wings, burger and pretty much everything else. Its a loud spot but worth dealing with the volume.

First timers- July 16, 2017. Our Server was Taylor, she was great, knowledgeable, confident, capable, knew the Menu, & just plain pleasant to chat with! We were very pleasantly surprised to see a menu with lovely fresh options, & choices that weren't smothered in Queso, and buried in Fries! We had the Beet & Buarrata Starter, and the Quinoa Salad, as we were just looking for a quick lite lunch. They were both excellent! Definitely would have been a 5 star review, if we could've just been able to chat above the excessively loud music- we, get the whole hipster vibe thing...but at lunch, it would've been a bit more pleasant, to have it toned down, with a more mellow playlist- Thanks - we will be back.

I gotta tell you, I am a big fan of Doc B's. First of all, I can't go there without thinking of Doc Brown which makes me think of 1.21 gigawatts which has absolutely nothing to do with this review or this restaurant. Moving on. This was my third or fourth trip here, but the previous few were just to kill some time or for happy hour. Their old fashion is killer. It might be the fact that it is sweeter than most so they probably use more sugar, but obviously, that's awesome. Whatever the reason, the old fashion is fantastic. It is aided by the fact that the bar food (no nut or trail mix here) is candied bacon. You heard me. Bar snack is candied bacon. CANDIED BACON!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry sorry. I'm calm. Anyway, you know what you can do with candied bacon besides eating it? Marinate it in your old fashion and THEN eat it. Now you have a whiskey braised candied bacon and a candied bacon flavored old fashion. If you just had an orgasm, it is completely understandable. I was just talking dirty for bacon or whiskey lovers. This time though, I decided to try dinner. Their menu looks amazing, but how can you order dinner when you fill up on candied bacon. CANDIED BACON!! Sorry, sorry. I think I have candied bacon turrets (this review is not intended to offend anyone who suffers from turrets). Anyway, the bartender had a bunch of recommendations, most of them seafood which I was not in the mood for, so she suggested the carnitas sandwich. Essentially, a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. I got sweet potato fries with that. Let me tell you a little something about this sandwich. Wow. I love me BBQ, and there are some good BBQ joints in Tampa (4 Rivers and smoke shack, of course). I would put this up against any of them. This was one of the better pork sandwiches I have had in a very long time and it is going to be near impossible to order anything else. And I know what you're thinking - you're thinking Todd, did you put any candied bacon on your pork sandwich, because frankly, you're a disappointment to your father if you didn't. But my response to that is, (a) how can I give an accurate review of a menu item if I change it by adding candied bacon? (b) why would I eat the candied bacon in any other way besides straight candied bacon? and most importantly, (c) I ate all the candied bacon before my sandwich arrived, so there! Don't you presume to tell me how to eat candied bacon. I will eat candied bacon with you until you're in a bacon coma and then I will eat the rest of yours! So, what have we learned here? Candied bacon, Old fashioned, candied bacon, pork sandwich, candied bacon. Candied bacon.

Paying for the location. Food is rather basic and extremely pricey. There are many better restaurants in the area.
