We just had some Alfredo pasta, and it was very creamy and good. The bread was great with it. Our server was engaging and sweet. The people in there, overall, were sweet. They might even talk to you across the table. It seems like a place where regulars usually go to and people know that. I would have tried some more of their menu options. I'd recommend!

Wanted to try Daddys for a year now and finally made it. Breakfast was very good and portions were nice. These photos are of "one entree" off today's Breakfast specials menu. 3 fruit French toast (or waffle), 2 eggs, and choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. A feast! Will be going back to try their grits. Several patrons around us were ordering shrimp and grits, must be good. Want to go for dinner as well. Waitress was an absolute sweetheart! Many regulars coming and going too, that's always a good sign. Bathrooms were nice and clean too 😉😉

A local place we have visited in the past and had a good experience. My wife and I were nearby and decided to stop in. Early dinner so not real busy, with one exception. Room in back was obviously a Christmas party. And they probably had a few cocktails as they were very loud and boisterous. We could barely hold a conversation. Would have been much better if there were doors to close off the room. Happily they were winding down and leaving after about 15 minutes. We were seated immediately and brought water and menus. My wife opted for the Lasagna. I was in the mood for seafood so I chose the Captain’s Fried Platter with Cod, Shrimp, Scallops and Clams with fries. My wife’s salad came, crisp and fresh and delightful. Soon after our meals came. My wife enjoyed the Lasagna but not quite up to par with OG. My Cod was excellent, big portions. My scallops, which I shared, were very good. Shrimp was just too much breading and Clams were basically breading. Disappointing. Took half the Cod and the fries home. My wife also tried the Carrot Cake, which must have been good because it vanished quickly.

The food was really good. Can't go wrong with buffalo chicken. And the fries had this flakiness on the skin that was unique. My waitress and the hostess were very Friendly. Check them out

The food and service was great. My couple of issues were. That few tables had not been cleared or cleaned it took them more than 30 minutes to clear them. And that they were vacuuming the floor while we were trying to eat. Hopefully this won’t happen if you visit this place. Good luck

I love this place. They have the best creamed chipped beef breakfast! Lots of other great home cooked meals. Highly recommend!! Family owned restaurant that has been around for 15+ years...they are obviously doing something correctly! Update, went there for lunch yesterday...added photos. They also offer a great lunch😋

The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food was tasty but cooking not quite on target. The sweet potato fries and my husband's burger were a little over cooked and my catfish was a little under cooked. We went at an off hour so, we'll likely give them another try.

Daddy's Grill is a very nice place to eat. It has an open feel and the bench seats in the booths are comfortable. We ate breakfast; the food tastes great (Farmer's Omlette) and the portions were large. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is my type of places I love, the service is fast, it’s very clean, the food is very good. I came here for breakfast but I had to wait outside for around 15 minutes on a Sunday because the place was full (plus distancing). I recommend to make reservation previously. The seats are very comfortable and the food looks fresh and it’s tasty. Definitely would come back! Thank you.

The service was ok, but anytime I attempted to speak to my waitress she was always in a hurry and running away. She seemed bothered by my 2 attempts to speak to her. The restaurant was not super busy at the time. And it took forever to get our order taken. The food decent, but my omelet that was supposed to have broccoli in it only had hard uncooked chunks of broccoli stems. Yuk! The hollandaise sauce was good tho. I can't say I would not eat here again, but they didn't give me any desire to come back.

I used to dine here weekly before I moved out the area. They actually swapped location with another restaurant many years ago. Now they are established and considered fancy comparing the old days. However, the food quality is not as good but the prices considered high.

Daddy’s grill is one of my favorite breakfasts spots. I have never eaten lunch or dinner here, but their breakfast I great. There is typically a small wait on sundays (when I love going out for breakfast). The restaurant is pretty big though so it’s quick. They do have a full liquor bar, however the $5 mimosas and bloody Mary’s always get me. The champagne they use for their mimosas is actually decent too. Okay so.... this place has the worst food presentation ever ! Don’t let it fool you though because the food is super tasty ! My pictures make it look horrible but it’s one of my favorite country fried steaks. I never leave a drop of food left here. The eggs are always cooked EXACTLY how I like.

Their special menu from 2 - 5 offers excellent value. We have enjoyed everything we tried. Just one concern, when we ask for aa little more sauce for the lasagna we should be told in advance if there is an extra charge! !

Came here with my SO for some breakfast before watching the new Jurassic. Had the Waffle fruit trio and it was delicious and well prepared. Good service, felt welcomed and nice atmosphere. Will come again!

We ordered the turkey BLT and a sausage omelet. The home fries weren't hot and there was very little sausage in the omelet. The BLT was fine, but fries weren't hot either.

Out of all the places to eat, we have decided to visit this place "Daddy's grill." I havent visit this place ever. Inside the place looks pretty nice and clean. Most of the customers have full set of white hair. I think I am a few decades too early for this place. Food Review: My meatballs and spaghetti was very good with the perfect amount of spices. The French dip sandwich was also very good. The aujuy juice was not salty. To me that was delicious. A bud light was $2. Over all good food place.

I had the blackened chicken caesar salad, extra dressing, no croutons, and it was delish! The server was friendly and efficient, and didn't take all day to bring the check (a pet peeve). A bit on the high side for drink prices. I'd probably go for happy hour if I was in the area but with so many places having all day happy hour on the weekend it's not competitive.

Not bad! Great atmosphere. Girlfriend and I shared multiple items. The Omelette was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend like the pancakes but I thought they were just average. Very good home fries and average grits. I will definitely go back and try out a few more items.

Went here yesterday on a whim after being advised to go somewhere else. This is older restaurant with older clientele mostly but good food and good company. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of food and the taste. We will now go back for breakfast.

I had an hour to wait for a movie so decided to stop in for a quick drink and some appetizer. I am so happy I did. I had mussels in garlic sauce with toasted garlic bread all for $7.99. Best value and quality was amazing.

My meal was delicious. The staff was really cool and on their A game. The couple next to me were raving about turkey sandwiches and a Reuben. I wouldn't expect anyone to perfect a turkey sandwich, but this place did. I was off-put by the name, but this place has a high scale atmosphere with amazing food at affordable prices. Definitely making it my date night spot.

Our first time at Daddy's and we'll be back. The food was pretty good and the prices reasonable. I had the fish and chips that also came with a nice salad and green beans for $15.00. Drinks were 2 for 1 until 7. My waitress was nice and efficient.

I know that too much salt is bad for you, but should have some - as well as other ingredients that give flavor (e.g., pepper, garlic, etc.).

I ordered a Cobb salad and french onion soup via delivery. This was my first time ordering from here. I was very pleased. They separated the hot chicken from the salad. The romaine and bacon were nice and crisp. The French onion soup was very well done also. Nice and cheesy! I will definitely order again.

We are long time eaters at Daddy's. Haven't been in a while so we visited last week. It's changed a bit but we had the normally great experience. We love the Captain's platter and the Trio combo. Lot's of fresh seafood. We tired something different this time because the daily specials looked interesting. The seafood pasta was delightful with grouper, clams, shrimp and scallops. I like it with white sauce. We also had the salmon which was perfectly prepared. We decided that we need to come back more often. Thank you, Daddy. See you soon.

Took a guest for dinner they didn't have a couple of the dinner specials advertised it was so hot in there, then our meals came out cold. We asked for extra sauce for our fish and that came out colder than our meal. We were very embarrassed taking an out of town guest to our favorite restaurant and it was horrible. What's up! This was my first trip to Daddy's grill. I ordered off of the early bird menu. The food was excellent, the value is excellent, service was fantastic and there's a happy hour which was also priced perfectly. I would definitely go back again for either the early bird specials or the main menu. I love this place and would definitely recommend it.

Been coming to Daddy’s for breakfast many years. Lisa does a great job with all her customers. I always order same breakfast- scrambled eggs. Food is good but pricing is becoming higher and harder to justify. My same breakfast is $3.00 higher in two years time!!?? Bradley - the manager needs to review why his pricing is pricing out customers that no longer can afford to eat there!!

Highly recommended. Wow! Such a nice restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly host. Our server was very efficient and helped with suggestions. When we got our food we were really surprised how big our sandwiches were. We got Fish and Chips and fried chicken sandwich and both were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Prices very reasonable and the restaurant was very clean including restrooms. Even the pictures on the wall were kept clean. They obviously take pride in presentation.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by just how good their food was. Not that we expected the food to be bad, or expected poor service. Just that I don't think we properly prepared ourselves for how good the food was going to be. I'm very particular about what makes a good pancake and this place was fantastic. My husband got biscuits and gravy, something that is a staple in his life and our house, and he said it was one of the best gravy's he's ever had. There is also a full bar, which we took advantage of, definitely go for the mimosas and definitely check this place out.

Let me start off by saying the eggs Benedict was the tastiest I ever had. The hollandaise was perfect. And my guest enjoyed her french toast, which the waitress was nice enough to swap out regular toast for a small upcharge to satisfy her craving. I was recommended this place as a cozy, mom-and-pop-style restaurant, but our experience wasn't as warming as I expected. The restaurant was stale. There weren't too many smiles to go around, and the staff looked unhappy. My coffee was always refilled, which was great! (I wasn't thrilled with the only option of creamer being half and half, but no big deal.) But our waitress didn't seem happy, and was always too quick to leave the table. She didn't smile much and wasn't very pleasant and it made our breakfast experience uncomfortable. It could have been a rough day, and I always try to give servers the benefit of the doubt, but the overall atmosphere was rather uncomfortable, despite being nicely laid out and the food being tasty and well presented. Overall, I expected a more relaxed, friendly breakfast experience but that is not what we got. And even as I plan to be in the area again, I don't plan to go back, despite the tasty food.

My first visit to Daddy's. Experience was less than pleasant. It was Saint Patrick's Day the management team obviously did not plan on people coming in. Service was horrible couldn't get waited on and when you did get waited on the staff was so stressed that they were saying and doing things that were not appropriate however my meal was very good.

Fun atmosphere, fast service, friendly staff, and excellent food. What more can you ask for? Don't be fooled by how the outside looks (kind of like one of those breakfast/lunch places where the food is just mediocre but you go because it's quick for your lunch break). This place serves REAL food that's cooked by a real chef. For 2 people, and depending on what you order, you'll spend around $25, so prices aren't too bad.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but things have changed. The host said it would be a few minutes for a table and after about 10 minutes another couple walked in and they were seated immediately by a waitress while we were ignored. After a few more minutes the host said he was sorry then disappeared again, we left. Disorganized, maybe short staffed but that's no excuse.

Have to say it's the best breakfast I've had. Nice place, atmosphere. Very clean. Great wait staff. Had the 3 egg omlete with onions. Husband had the chicken fried steak with grits and eggs. I don't like grits, but I really like these. Not a real gritty texture. Husband is a huge grit lover and he said these are the best grits he's ever had. Good coffee. Highly recommend!

This place was not bad at all but there are several better options nearby. We ordered the filet mignon special and should have known by the price that the quality and more specifically the proper cut of meat would not be as expected. The menu should say tenderloin cut complete with silt still on the meat. So 2 stars on quality of products but 4 stars on the service we recieved. They had a full bar so I just drank a little more and ate a little less. :-)

One of my experiences here, I called to placed a pick up order and as soon as I said hello I was instantly placed on hold. I ended up hanging up and calling back. When I informed that I was holding for over 5 minutes, I was advised that they're short staffed. Other than that, the food is great each time I have ordered. I don't order as much as it's not the friendliest place and in my opinion customer service is not much of a priority. I've ordered at least 3 different occasions and I've pretty much been greeted the same each time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is rather cozy and inviting. They have a large selection available on their menu that should please almost anyone. Many salads, sandwich options and entrees are offered. I enjoyed the fish and chips, my husband got the French dip, our friend got the catfish, and our daughter enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo. Everything was excellent! My friend even remarked that the catfish was one of the better ones he has had! Service might have been a tiny bit slow, but we went on New Year's Day, so I'm quite certain that had much to do with it. I definitely recommend this place and be assured that we will be going back in the future.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It reminded me of a lot of places I have been up north in my hometown area. Solid meat & seafood choices, w/ salad & sides, plus white rolls. Friendly, efficient service. Prime rib was good, but way too salty & garlicky on the outside. Inside was medium rare & yummy.

If I could give this place a sixth star I would... We were searching for a place near our hotel for a quick breakfast. Having stopped at three of the known breakfast places and being told an hour wait we looked on Google and saw Daddy's Grill was close, served breakfast and had a 4.3 rating so we decided to try it. WOW are we glad that we did. HUGE servings of freshly made items. GREAT friendly staff (and customers) FANTASTIC prices. YES WE WILL BE BACK WHENEVER WE ARE IN TOWN .

We eat here often and seldom if ever are dissatisfied with service or food quality. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are all excellent for our needs. There will always be some personnel change but most all servers have been there for many years. Prices are reasonable. A family owned business with a stellar reputation in the community.

We didn't find this place all that great. There was very little difference from the lunch menu & dinner menu. The selection of food was small. We thought we would have a choice of down home cooking. It was more like a variety of pastas for dinner. There was a couple of other items. The food was ok. We had Mike serve us, he was the best part of the dining experience. Don't think we'll go back. The 3 stars was hit by mistake. I would have liked to change it to 2 stars.

This restaurant has great Decor at atmosphere. I've been there for breakfast before which is much better did the large chain restaurants. This local place is not already clean but has excellent food. I went there with a large party the eight people were served promptly by the waitress and we were in need of nothing. I had the Delmonico steak which was of a good size and very tasty and well marbled. The baked potatoes were exquisite, hot, and we will provide it with overflowing butter add sour cream for the toppings. I had it been to Daddy's in quite a while but I am going to put it back on our list of places to go for a nice peaceful sit-down breakfast or dinner. Thank you Daddy's Grill.

Delicious food. This was my 1st time here and I had the scallops. My family, who live here, come here regularly and they love it all. Tonight, we enjoyed the Shrimp Ravioli a la Vodka, New Yorker burger, Mango topped salmon, and the pineapple topped salmon. Everyone expressed their delight in the taste. The waitress was very nice and engaged us in conversation while still maintaining professionalism. We never had an empty drink or wants that weren't met promptly. Highly recommended.

A Oldsmar treasure. We even got to see Daddy! We had soups, french onion and beef vegetable. Half sandwiches of tuna and egg salad. Everything was fresh and homemade. Good service, fair prices and good food! 😋💗

Place was clean, however furnishings seemed outdated. I had the Vegetable Egg Benedict, with home fries which was standard Eggs Benedict with substituted diced tomatoes and spinach for the Canadian bacon. I thought this was very delicious and it gave the dish a fresh taste that countered a usually heavy rich dish. I was surprised it also came with toast (which I couldn't eat) since there is already an english muffin that comes with Eggs Benedict. Service was good and the food came out very quick. Okay if you like your standard breakfast items.

Arrived and were greeted and seated within 2 minutes. The server came within 1 minute and took our drink order. When the drinks arrived within just a minute, I was pleased. We were then asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our meals and in about 2 minutes our salads were out. The greens, tomatoes, peppers, onions were crisp and cold, and the dressings (ranch & thousand island) were made in house. Very good. The bread with the salad was equally good and it came with AA quality butter, no nasty margarine. Our dinners were delivered in 10 minutes. I had a seafood platter and my wife had a lemon butter chicken with pasta & goat cheese. My shrimp, scallops, cod. & clsms were hand breaded (you can get blackened, fried, or grilled) and cooked to perfection. It came with 2 sides which were also superb. My wifes pounded chicken breast was cooked well and tasted great, the star was the sauce she told me. As far as seafood, I give a place like Red Lobster a 5 out of 10, Crabby Bills an 8.5 out of 10. Daddy's I give a solid 9 out of 10.

This is a first time visit to Daddy's Grill. Located on Tampa Road, it's not a far drive away from Curlew Road. The fish sandwich is great! It is cod but a good second to haddock! They also serve a large haddock fillet rolled in crushed almond coating. Our friends say it is especially good! The dining area is well built so it doesn't cause a lot of audible noise from other dinners. That is a really good thing for us seniors! All in all, we have visited twice now and will definitely go again!

Although the server should have minded her business when my friend wanted something else and she insisted that they have the steak? I understand about up selling but really?? It was a dollar more and I had already asked if my friend wanted it. We never got to finish our salads either as the server not even half way through brought our dinners to us. I think she should have asked us if we were ready for our dinners.

Just had dinner here. Heather our server was awesome. She was quick with our drinks, appetizer and dinner. The busser was also on top of clearing the table as a dirty dish got moved to the side. Pretty good, limited menu and mostly an old people restaurant. Like morrisons but better. And I wouldn’t see 55 and older I’d say like 70 and older. !
