Highly recommend. We were surprised by so many amazing factors here: super friendly service, a great view of Downtown Tampa, and incredible coffee that really brought me back to Paris. It is a perfect brunch spot to start a relaxing and peaceful day.

By far the best Eggs Benedict I have had in the US. This is a gem of a spot with super fresh food that does not feel heavy. Made with care by some French people. Eggs were cooked and seasoned just perfectly. Will be back every time in Tampa, they occasionally have $5 mimosas which is awesome.

*UPDATE* We returned. Food was still perfect and our customer service was exceptional. Amazing! I can’t wait to return. Our mochas were perfect—not to sweet and smooth. Our Savory crepe was chicken, spinach, and bacon with cream sauce. I’m so glad I took a chance on a small French cafe in Tampa. I’ve been to Montreal and enjoy French cuisine. The baguette and brie was so tasty. I send a kiss to the Chef! Thank you for being our highlighted meal of Tampa. I will see you again. Prices and portions are reasonable. Actually I think it was unpriced based on the quality of the food. I can’t wait to eat there again! Parking is okay. We arrived at 7:30am so the streets were clear. I know how crazy it gets Downtown so I anticipate walking a block or 2 on my next visit.

This place was delicious, we ordered almost everything from the menu. Started with a toasted mozzarella and tomato baguette, Favorite Faby, the avocado benefit, the Panini perna and a Nutella, banana and strawberry crepe. We loved this place, the service was on point and they were super friendly too. We will be coming back soon to try other items we didn't get a chance to taste this round.

I don’t usually write reviews… but this place is amazing!!. I had the salmon Benedict - ingredients super fresh. I also had a caramel latte, which the server/barista was able to layer beautifully. I felt compelled to write a review this because the service was truly impeccable.

I stumbled upon this place. Very very good! This kind of place reminded me of why America is so good. All of the best cultures and business compete to present the best version of themselves to us and this restaurant is no exception. If this is what france taste like then sign me up. Loved everything about it. Great find and great food.

We waited 30 minutes to be seated during lunchtime on a Sunday, but worth it! So many exiting dish to choose from! My crepes with bacon, mushroom and salad was exceptional, and my husband loved his lasagna. The service was friendly and very attentive.

Love this little bit of Paris on the streets of Tampa. Food we had was great both the Strasbourg crepes and the Parisienne baguette sandwich. The sidewalk tables mimic a Paris cafe although it’s not so much people watching as “car watching” given they look at the street!

I'd never heard of this little place and just found it in a Google search and I'm so very happy I did! They have the most beautiful coffees and pastries and an amazing menu. I had a salmon Benedict with avocado and it was wonderful. The girls at the counter were very sweet and attentive and the decor is all very French countryside. I will definitely be making this a regular stop!

Came in here with my family for lunch and wasn't impressed at all. They have alot of crepes to choose from which is nice. I ended up getting a panini, and it was good but our waitress only came back to our table one time after taking our order. We needed refills on our drinks and were going to order desserts but she acted as if we weren't there. We waited for the check for a while too, another waitress ended up getting us our check. Won't be coming back, plenty of other 5 star French restaurants to go back to.

Great spot downtown! Had the eggs, avocado, salmon Benedict which was great and the Nutella , strawberry, banana crepe which was awesome! The staff was very friendly. Excellent cafe!

Just a short walk from the childrens museum, we decided to try a nice brunch. I ordered the croque Monsuer, espresso, and a crepe. Very good food and cute little cafe.

Chez Faby was a pleasant little French breakfast spot in downtown Tampa! The food was good, above average, but a bit pricy for breakfast food. The service was great, our waitress was kind and prompt! Next time I would like to try their crepes!

First timers… food was very good. Staff doing a great job given the circumstances…But they must step-up their coffee game big time!! There’s nothing better than a French Croissant and a creamy smooth Latte! OMG, it was brutal watching them work with an inadequate coffee machine!! My advise to the OWNER, invest in your coffee game! Kathy & I first stopped at Chez Faby for a late breakfast with Bill2 when they were staying downtown on business. It's a cozy little place on a corner downtown with tables inside & out. Good people watching on any beautiful day. Since then, we've been back several times for breakfast. I had cafe au lait, Kathy had expresso and we both enjoyed the eggs with salmon & avocado. A wonderful combination of flavors. We haven't tried the lunch yet...tried, but we arrived a little too late so I'll have to get back on that. The service is fabulous...warm & friendly. Breakfast & Lunch only. I can only imagine how delicious that would be!

Wonderful French experience in the heart of Tampa: un vrai restaurant français: ça fait tellement de plaisir! Perfect for people with allergies like me, very accommodating and delicious. I had an exquisite Niçoise Salad, totally refreshing. They’re located in probably one of the best corners of the city, great view, great service.

Food was average, nothing outstanding. Service was non existant. The waitress never came by for refills, or to ask if we needed anything else. We wanted to get dessert but changed our minds after waiting so long to get her attention. C'est dommage.

Food was great! Got the eggs benedict and the potatoes. My friend got the breakfast sandwich on the croissant. Good environment and quick service. The only probably was that the said they didn't have a working bathroom at the moment and apparently they had beef with their business neighbors so my friend had a super awkward encounter when she went next door. 😅

I stopped in this cafe randomly this morning and had a great breakfast experience. The poached eggs on my smoked salmon Benedict were cooked perfectly, (it's hard to find properly cooked poached eggs imo) the hollandaise was delicious, and my cafe mocha was just right. I will be returning.

The food was great! Had the avocado salmon and egg sandwich with potatoes. The sauce was great and the ingredients were fresh! The coffee wasn’t overly sweet. The price is steep, but in downtown Tampa I wasn’t extremely put off. I will go again.

The food here is *absolutely delicious*. Its my all-time favorite breakfast/lunch place. The crepes (especially Faby, Ocean and Strasbourg) are divine :) The chef has some serious talent. And the host, Fabienne, is extremely welcoming and friendly, and makes the whole experience super pleasing. Overall great time. Definitely recommended. The crepe on the photo is *Faby Crepe*.

The only thing that sucks is a typical Tampa thing. Small location that does not have a lot of seating. Couples will be in and out quicker. However everything was tasty, I got the Faby Benedict. Coffee was also good

It was a nice restaurant. I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped but I think I was expecting the potatoes and eggs to be seasoned with at least some salt but it could just be French not to.They have outside seating so that was a plus, the ladies there were really nice but it did take about 30ish minutes from when we ordered to get the food.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. The food is fantastic in every way. Robust, harmonious flavors, cooked to perfection. We're talking a full-blown symphony of perfected textures and tastes. The location is great, with outside seating that's perfect in a Florida winter. The staff is incredibly friendly. You must visit and experience CHEZ FABY as soon as possible.

Went there on my lunch break and watched the World Cup and had a mozzarella tomato sandwich which was fantastic. It is a bit pricy but that’s what you get when you are in the downtown area. Despite the price the food is great.

Do you like fresh, homemade, tasty food? This is the place. Takes a little time for them to prepare and cook your food but it is certainly worth it. The food tastes delicious. And their latte's look beautiful in the glass and taste fresh and great. No artificial flavorings or syrups that I can tell.

This little hidden gem is my new favorite spot just outside of Ibor!! Wasn't expecting it! This is a bacon & spinach crepe plus a side of avocado. I'm not sure on the sauce but it was warm & sooo good!! Kinda pricey, but definitely worth it.

A very unexpected 5 star surprise. I sure would give it 6 or more if I could. So that should pretty much sum it up. What a treasure and surely wished it was closer to home. Well done Chez Faby, well done!!

Randomly found this place while walking around downtown in a Saturday morning. Loved being able to sit outside in the cooler morning weather, and the coffee and food made it even better. I had a fantastic savory crepe with smoked salmon, spinach, and a cream sauce. I would love to stop back by and try out some of their sweet options to compare. Highly recommended!

Food was goodish. Very different from what I normally eat gave them an extra star for customer service. They were busy and only 2 girls working so they were constantly back & fourth, but they handle it well.

The staff at Chez Faby were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive and very friendly. The food was also astounding, and I highly recommend it. The lobster bisque was rich and we'll flavored without having too strong of a lobster taste. The normand baguette sandwich with prosciutto and brie was a great combination, especially when dipped in the lobster bisque! I didn't ask, but the tiramisu seemed homemade with a perfect texture and delicious layers. The plating was perfect as well, with a caramel drizzle and powdered sugar sprinkled lightly on top. I not only highly recommend it but I would dare to say that your tampa experience wouldn't be complete without it.

Its really convenient to my home, has wonderful, panoramic views of downtown and our little vest-pocket Gaslight park. The food is delicious and the staff extremely gracious. I will eat here again and again!

Legitimately, the best breakfast I think I have ever had. Had the savory bacon and mushroom crepes and every bite had me just repeating how good it was. Nutella crepes were also great. Definitely eat here if you’re visiting.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. It's a family-run restaurant, and it gets busy on the weekends, so you may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. The baguettes are fantastic, and the coffee is superb. I recommend the cafe mocha - its the perfect blend of sweetness.

We sat outside for a late breakfast. We ordered the 4-egg omelettes but were concerned that it'd be too much egg. However, they apparently use small eggs so the omelettes were a perfect size and filled with a good amount of veggies and cheese. Our server was very nice and came out to check on us often. So, the meal was very enjoyable.

Nice ambiance and kind service. The croque madame is divine. I've only had one bad meal there and it was the French onion soup which was insanely salty. I could have said something but I've learned that usually doesn't work out well so I let it go. Good mimosas and pricing is fair.

It’s been a long time since I finally found a place where I can taste and eat for good French banquette!!! Born and raise in France and I can really say that the food is real good! Love the croissants and pain au chocolat and the crepes! Long time I haven’t taste something authentic !!! The service is great and very nice people I hope to visit Tampa again and get my French breakfast!! Pour les français: ce café est vraiment un des meilleurs avec de bon sandwich et un bin service convivial !

Food wasn't bad and the hot choco is good. I know french food pretty well, having spent some time in France so being objective. My issue was more with the owner who seems to enjoy making offensive jokes but I'm not sure he thought those were actually insensitive, that's just how they roll down in France. I know because I lived there as a black dude. But again I chose to chat up the owner because I'm warm and like to socialize but you obviously don't have to :) Just didn't like his jokes with racially insensitive undertones, but hey again we're here for food so they get a 3-3.5 stars from me. By all means try it, probably one of the very few french spots in town anyways. As for me I'm a bit too 'socially aware' to go back there so my family and I won't spend our hard earned moola over there again anytime soon. Oh another good thing is the service from the other servers, especially the older french lady who were all pretty decent and seemingly nice.

2 out of 3 crepes we ordered were good, the 3rd - just OK. Hot chocolate isn't anything like French one (thick and rich), just an American version. Waffle was dry and nothing special. Macarons were the worst - cold, in a sealed container, chewy and not fresh at all. Service - nice, but slow (there were only 3 tables, so not sure why).

Our favorite place to eat in Tampa. We go every weekend. My Mom is French and I partially grew up in France so I know how French food is supposed to taste like. Chez Faby is authentic French food. The chocolate croissant is to die for. The menu has plenty of choices from sandwiches, to crepes, or salads. Fabienne, the owner, and all waitresses are always super nice to us. Great place. Highly recommend.

Very cool French Bistro, Sandwiches made with some of the best French baguettes bread in Tampa. Chef need to work on the Onion soup it is not up to par. Definitely visit Chez Faby for a unique dinning option.

So I forgot to take photos of my food BUT let me tell you that this food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We got the beef and tuna crepes that are to DIE for! Then for dessert, my fiancé and I split the chocolate crepe which was also amazing! If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would!! Nobody paid me to review this place and this is actually the first review I’ve left for a restaurant. So if you’re wanting a great restaurant with lot’s of flavor, this is the place to go!!

Plan carefully and you'll be happy If you traveled to Europe you know that eating is a slower affair. You seat enjoy your company and the food. The same applies here, service is reasonably slow and the food is awesome! So account for some extra time and you'll have a great time. It is actually good to spend time with your party while eating

My family and I love to go to this restaurant on the weekends. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and courteous. My little ones love their crepes selection (savory and sweet) and and always get the macarons at the end. Fabienne the owner is always checking on her clients and very approchable. The Sundays tend to be a little more busy but since the food is so good we don’t mind hanging out in their outside area while it arrives. Definitely recommend this gem in downtown Tampa!

We have walked by this place for the past 1.5 yrs and finally went in for lunch after always saying "we need to eat here one day". The food was absolutely amazing and definitely true French food. Amazing staff and great food! We were waiting for our table at First watch, and as we waited we decided to look for mimosas because Sunday funday . As we walked down the street , we found this cute little restaurant ( found out its owned by 3 friends ). Mimosas 50 percent off? SOLD! So we at first thought it would be drinks , I’m glad it didn’t . The food was beyond fresh and hot! New to the area , but I found my spot . Friendly people , hot food, and a cute atmosphere. I’m planning my next visit as we speak:)

The atmosphere was just awesome, our food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. Within walking distance of our hotel, Le Meredien (great place to stay, btw), our breakfast set the tone for a lovely weekend in Tampa. The Crepe Paris was a welcome departure from the standard eggs and bacon combo. Excellent coffee and baguette. We will be back!

A legit French bistro in the heart of Tampa. Great coffee, baguettes and paninis (didn’t get to try other dishes but they looked great). Parisian owner was very friendly and I got to brush up on my French with her while we ate! Had brunch this morning with my family of five. We ordered coffees, crepes, paninis, and salads. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I was nervous because I only had a 30 minute break to eat, but the food came extremely quick. The avocado crepes and tomato, mozzarella, and pesto panini were excellent. It was my first time here but I will definitely be back!

Wanted something unique and different in downtown Tampa...since y mom and niece were visiting us. Being that they both have special dietary needs, and not a huge selection in downtown...we bumped into this little French place. Fabienne, though we barely understood her at first until she told us she's french...gave us an excellent selection; and it sure was excellent! Even the prices! I highly recommended the lobster soup and the Oceane salad.

I was walking around and thought of having the right amount of brunch. With the nice weather out today, Al fresco dining it was and this place definitely makes it on my list. First time to try it and food was served fresh and right. Eggs baltique and macarons. They are open on Sundays so if you’re thinking of doing brunch, why not do it the French way? 🙂

First of all, Coffee is amazing!! We walked by the store looking for coffee and Chez Faby caught my eyes. It has a unique feel to it. Like the corner coffee shop in a ski resort that sells crepes. We walked 2 blocks down turned around and came back to the store. We ordered Macchiato and a strawberry crepes. They were delicious! The next morning, we have to go back and get some ham and eggs crepes and egg Benedicts. They were both amazing!! You can look at the pictures I have posted. This is a must try place downtown Tampa.

The menu is mainly made of salads, sandwiches , quiches, crepes and paninis. We had paninis (made with real bread, not toast bread) which tasted great; the side potatoes are hand cut, not industrially made. I had a quiche Lorraine which was tasty and creamy. My kids had a Nutella crepe and a Nutella croissant for desert, they loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want simple yet delicious and authentic French food.

Our food was alright. Waited longer than anticipated for my order to be taken. I asked questions from the menu as it was my first time there and was unsure about some items. The waitress had given me misinformation and was a bit disappointed since some of those questions were about items I ordered. The place was sweet and small, and food was okay but, lack of knowledge, and customer service was a miss unfortunately.

Had that smell of a restaurant with not good enough of a ventilation hood as they needed. Had that slightly greasy smell, that stays on your clothes for a while.
