BEST BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS IN TAMPA! The mimosas are the perfect amount of champagne and juice. The servers are so much fun and they always make sure your glass is full! This place has the perfect location because it’s walking distance from Soho, so you can go bar hopping right after brunch! And the food is actually amazing! A lot of brunch places will have good deals on mimosas but the food will be trash. This restaurant has a great menu and everything I tried was amazing, and at a good price!

Went for the first time today, very busy but of course its a Sat. around noon but I was lucky to get a seat for a party of two right away. Had a great experience. Got the shrimp and grits, it was great and tasty. Will be back.

Had the steakhouse nachos and the jumbo shrimp and grits. The nachos were so good, and a good portion size could have been ordered as a meal instead of as an appetizer. The shrimp and grits were good, but it felt as if they were messing a bit of seasoning. The flavor profile was good but not as bold for my liking. The bartender was quick, friendly, and informative.

I had steak & eggs, the steak was a little overcooked but edible. My wife had fried French toast, she said it was good (she didn't know it was that big) the berries were not sweet so if you want it to be sweet add the syrup. The pretzel was an appetizer it was soft and tasty as well. The atmosphere was lovely. There was a love dj and several tvs to watch sports

found this place based on online recommendations for a brunch place in Tampa and i’m so glad i checked it out! i made a reservation and was seated right away when i arrived. the menu has lots of great options for brunch and fun food to share with a group. our waitress took a little bit of time before getting my order but not to a point of concern. regardless, she was super sweet and offered a drink on the house to apologize. to start, i ordered the Crab And Spinach Dip- a creamy combination of melted cheese, spinach, artichoke, and chunks of real crab, served with slices of toasted cuban bread. i then had the Eggs Benedict with Petite Sirloin. the steak was perfectly done for me and paired really well with the poached egg and their hollandaise. the breakfast potatoes on the side were also really good and even included sweet potatoes. the ambiance of the place is that of a fun, southern kitchen. there was even a DJ to add to the fun vibes. the place is pretty large too with indoor seating upstairs and downstairs, a patio with outdoor seating, and an outdoor bar. this is a great place for a fun weekend brunch with friends!

I am so glad we tried Cask. The food was delicious. The scallops-perfect. I cleaned my plate. My husband had the turkey and it was really really good. I also loved the cornbread and brussel sprouts (delicious). The servers were very nice and attentive. It is SoHo so there is limited parking, but they do have on-site parking. I recommend reservations, especially on a busy SoHo evening. We ate inside, but the patio dinning looked comfortable.

Brunch here on Sunday was so great. My friends were visiting and I wanted to take them to eat a Tampa brunch and I’m so happy I chose here. We were able to get a reservation for 2:45 and were seated right away. Our waiter was very patient and attentive. So kind! I loved the eggs Benedict. I tried my friend’s fried French toast and it was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and try their other menu items!

My overall experience was amazing! Kyrsten made sure she was on top of everything very hospitable!! The mimosa’s where awesome everyone enjoyed there food and drinks! Overall atmosphere was awesome! The environment here was very cool. We ate on the balcony and could watch Sunday football ;). The devil eggs were the best I ever had and the crab with cheese inside of the bread was next level tasty. We’ll be back!

I really did enjoy brunch at Cask. A group of 12 of us sat outside on the patio. There was one server but there was a team effort bringing out the food. I ordered the simply basic breakfast with eggs and potatoes except I added the fried chicken to my order since I dont eat pork. The bloody mary was AMAZING. they use jalapeno vodka. There was a spicy rum of salt around the rim of the glass. One of the best I've ever had. Took the liberty of taking pics of other peoples food. The chicken biscuit and the omelet. Definitely a place I'd go back to visit.

Only because the lack of parking and the variety of music played. 1st there was a dj until 3 but he wasn't great and when his set was done, whoever turned on the next set of tunes, drove me away. Lovely spicy bloody mary. Decent price for brunch. Had the chicken and waffles. The best part of that dish was the syrup. I would go again though.

I enjoyed my experience here! I had the Nashville hot chicken, pancakes, eggs and bottomless mimosas. My waitress was attentive but not over the top. I sat on the patio and enjoyed the Tampa heat. Definitely will be returning!

So it was not at all what I expected, honestly. I expected my overall experience to be ok, but the restaurant surpassed my expectations 10 fold. My friends and I ordered brunch. The food was exceptional and the tone/atmosphere of the environment was phenomenal. We ordered a couple of things (pictures included); we did not have a single negative thing to say about any of it. The bottomless mimosas were a great idea! Overall I recommend this place to any and everyone. The brunch is a great time, DJ outside playing good tunes and the food and the service is on point! Best pretzel I’ve ever had, great deviled eggs, tuna tower and burger cooked perfectly. Kirsten has hooked us up and made sure we had a great time w 5 of us on a busy Sunday. $25 bottles of champagne (they have a premix option but we’re champagne pros lol). If a local or visiting, I highly recommend.

The interior met my expectations for a lovely ambiance but there was a big miscommunication with our waitress about a few things. Following, basic table etiquettes weren’t met as we had to reinforce our requests often. Service seemed a bit slow for the crowd that was present. The food was very good and the drinks were great overall! I may have caught them on a bad night.

Hats off to Cask Social Kitchen for exceeding my expectations, again! This was my second private event at Cask and I must say it doesn't get old hearing what an amazing event it was from the guests! A special thanks to Chef Chris, Mixologist Matt and the amazing staff! Our server was exceptionally attentive! The food was spot on, both in taste and presentation. Of course, the custom cocktails and mimosa bar were a hit! Overall, the ambiance of the upstairs loft is perfect for a private event and everyone's attention to detail far surpasses that of other venues I've hosted events at!!! Bravo! I honestly can't wait to host another event with Chef Chris and his crew at Cask Social Kitchen!

I really enjoyed this place. I came here for brunch Saturday (it was my birthday, which I casually mentioned to the hostess). The food took a liiiittle while to come out, but our party was appropriately plied with bottomless mimosas (which they were even willing to sub out OJ for cranberry, very kindly) so it wasn't an issue. When the food came out it did NOT disappoint. The hollandaise sauce was so fresh and flavorful I also love that the house fries are a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes...nice variety. Just when I was starting to think that the hostess hadn't mentioned its my birthday, the waitress came out with carrot cake French toast (complete with a candle, of course)! I don't even like carrot cake, but damn that was good. The waitstaff also weren't pushy about us hanging out for a while which was nice. Very long, tasty, relaxing meal.

Best place for upbeat, hip brunch. Loud funky music, tons of sharable plates, fun mid to younger crowd. EXCELLENT bloody mary, buffalo cauliflower, breakfast tacos, deviled eggs and bacon! Uber if you can as parking lot fills up ND don't forget to make a reservation!

Incredible spot for brunch! I've been to Tampa twice and I've eaten here both times. I suggest the French toast, croissant sandwich, or the breakfast burger. By the way, their mimosa's are exceptional and they have a bottomless option for $21. The crowd's are normally young adults and the weekend DJ is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! Incredible brunch.

Friendly neighborhood bar. Friendly staff. Ordered lobster mac and cheese, which was amazing. Nice chunks of lobster in a creamy cheese sauce. Not too rich at all. The truffle deviled eggs were good but I have a hard time with truffle. Wish I could have enjoyed it more. I want to love truffle!!

I really like the vibe of this place. The staff is always friendly. You do have to valet park, but it is tips only. Bring cash for that. The menu here is not super huge, but there are some gems. I LOVE the buffalo cauliflower! The lobster mac is also creamy and delish. I will say, the chicken and waffles took me by surprise. There was good flavor on the chicken and it juicy! For it’s location on S Howard, this is a great change of pace from the typical debauchery. Believe it or not, you can get a well made drink along with some great food. Even better, they have one of the better happy hours in Tampa. There is plenty of outdoor seating and they welcome dogs. When my girls (pups) were young, I practically raised them on their patio to socialize them. I’ve never had a problem with service; the gals and guys behind the bar are very attentive.

Took my son there for brunch for his birthday, we had the breakfast tacos and bottomless mimosas. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our meal, and the food was delicious. My son was so impressed, that we went back the very next day and had the chicken and waffles and the blackberries bubble drink. The only issue I had was when a customer was allowed to bring his dog inside.

The food and the drinks were wonderful. Our whole table of nine people were pleased with their food. Our server was to the point, not very friendly but she did her job well. Very busy place especially for Sunday brunch. People were lining up before the 11 AM opening. Parking was horrible due to availability of spots. Although, I did have one extra observation, of the 9 ppl we had, 7 of us got alcoholic beverages. My dad ordered the bottomless mimosas, by the time we got our check, he had almost a 3/4 carafe left and tried to get rid of it by offering to the rest of us. Keep in mind most of us ordered alcoholic drinks ourselves. Not only were we admonished by the server for doing that but we had quite a few people of the wait staff keep their eyes on us. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary as we had paid our bill and were just finishing up. I understand the no-sharing rule but this behavior went a little beyond what I would expect from an nice dining establishment. Especially from a tab that easily went over $300. In addition, 20% gratuity was automatically attached, I imagine because of our party size.

A friend suggested the place for my wife’s birthday. We ordered the ribs and brisket. Best bbq I’ve had in Florida. Kids orders chicken and waffle and Mac and cheese and loved it. The menus had some unique items but everything we tried we liked. Definitely plan to go back and try some of the other items.

Cask social is quaint and comfortable while still stylish and trendy. Their craft cocktail concoctions can make anyone a cocktail drinker. And the food offering is well above average. The open bar design offers an excellent view of the outdoor seating and street areas for people watching on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Late brunch on Saturdays and Sundays is an exceptional way to revitalize yourself after a night of drinking or to impress out of town guests with your hip savviness. If you try nothing else, bless yourself with the truffle deviled eggs, they are to die for!

Some friends and I went to Cask for their Happy Hour and it was great! I tried the buffalo cauliflower and it was crispy, spicy, and delicious. We gobbled it up so fast that I didn’t even get a picture. One friend got the GIANT pretzel with cheese and it was really good. I don’t normally even like savory pretzels and I enjoyed that! I finished up with the chicken and waffles and I was delighted by the flavorful chicken and the fluffy waffle and buttery syrup. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it and will definitely return!

They just need to pay more attention to the details, my mimosa cups wasn’t clean son I ordered another one and they just gave me a regular cup for water and my husband ordered the tacos with corn tortilla and they gave him flour tortilla. I love this place! We came here for our friends birthday brunch and we all left happy, full and possibly a little buzzed after our unlimited mimosas for 20 bucks! We came on a Saturday a little after 1, so the place was not busy at all but I can imagine it can get packed during Sunday Brunch. The service was outstanding, our server was able to handle our large group with ease and filled our mimosa as soon as they were empty. They served us with popcorn as soon as we sat down and we all happily munched on that while we waited for our food. The food was amazing and I don't think anyone complained about their meal. Most of our group had their chicken and waffles, salmon gallette, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. I had their blackened salmon BLT, which was basically a piece of salmon with bacon and on two pieces of bread with a spicy aioli... simple but so yummy. I really want to come back and try more of their brunch meals and of course partake again in their unlimited brunch special.

Comfort food with a twist is VERY good. Had the meatloaf with bacon brussel sprouts and truffle Mac and cheese. Plenty of food for two. Buffalo cauliflower...amazing. One note...we ate inside and they had the bar open to the outside and it was pretty hot. We all were sweating within 10 min. Service was top notch too.

Was disappointed, brunch was great last time we went there but we went for a birthday dinner, there was only one server and it took almost 2 hours to get food not to mention it was all brought out separately and the place was slow so there was no excuse plus waitress was very nice but took to long on refills and drinks and food

The best part of our meal was probably the server, Krystal, and her great service! I will have to say that the brunch wasn't my favorite brunch. There was some flavor here in there but I wouldn't come back. The plates were pretty mid. The bottomless mimosas are pre-batched which understandably a lot of restaurants are doing now. To be honest for the price of $20 they were not worth it.

We had a reservation for 8pm on NYE. We sat at our table for almost 20mins before I requested the host find our server. After that, everything went smoothly. The food was good, not exceptional. Drinks were fantastic!! The environment is fun and relaxed. We’ll probably be back.

Nothing but good things to say about this place!! The service was awesome, she gave us amazing tourism sites and tips. If you love Pancakes as I do, 🥞 this is a good spot for you. Definitely can't eat them all, as they are big, but they were for sure good. Reccomend!

My daughter and I visited Cask for Saturday brunch. It was our first time and we were not disappointed! Our server was amazing and the food was SO GOOD!! We had the deviled eggs for an appetizer and they were so tasty! I had the pancakes which I couldn't finish because the portion size is huge (although I tried really hard because they were fluffy and delicious)!! My daughter had the breakfast bowl and loved it! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the location in SoHo. I would highly recommend the Cask Social.

The second time we waited over 10 minutes and again the wait staff didn't offer us a menu or take a drink order until we flagged them down. She apologized by saying that she didn't realize we were her table. They weren't that busy and we weren't hiding. After being noticed, the food and service was stellar. The pretzel is off the charts good and so are the Deviled eggs! I'd recommend going, but make it a point to get the wait staff's attention right away instead of waiting.

The food and service was good. However I would not come back for dinner - unless you like hamburgers your options are very very slim. If you have any allergies I would not suggest coming here. In addition to this the chairs are fat phobic. They are so uncomfortable to sit in. Every single person at the restaurant looked so uncomfortable. I would highly recommend new chairs. They are metal and if you have any hips at all it’s horrible. 0/10 in chairs. Which makes the whole dinner uncomfortable because you can’t sit like a normal person.

Buffalo Cauliflower Wings were delish (the side sauce was yummmmmmy)! My hubby loved his veggie tacos (said they were filling and flavorful) and our son had a grilled cheese and approved of his meal. Lol Service was great! Although we did not have reservations and walked in on the weekend. The staff was very welcoming and aaccommodating unlike other places we stopped at in the area. Nice brunch atmosphere, too loud to hear the person sitting next to you, decent drinks (Skip the mojito, though). Overall, the food was very bland, especially for the price point. I planned to order the Mushroom Omelet but that has been replaced with a new turkey, brussel sprouts, cheese and tomato omelet. The cherry tomatoes and brussel sprouts weren't cooked into the omelet but instead the sprouts were pan charred and shoved into the already cooked, spongy omelet. Felt lazy and the flavor profiles wasn't well thought through. Honestly, the omelet tasted like it was precooked, microwaved and veggies added as an afterthought. My friend ordered the French Toast and said it lacked cinnamon or much flavour but was OK. Same for the Steak Eggs Benedict, steak lacked flavor. The Chicken and Waffles seemed to the best option. Overall, there are other brunch places that I'd look at first if you like seasoned food. Staff was friendly. Parking was challenging, even at opening the lot was full. Fortunately, the street parking was available at arrival. None available after eating.

When we arrived at the bar there were waters in front of us immediately. Our bartender was extremely attentive; I got bottomless mimosas and my refill glass was filled with no hesitation. Did not have to ask for a single thing and I am very impressed.

I went for brunch on Saturday morning with my best friend and 4 year old nephew. Had a reservation at 11:30 am, called ahead to let them know that I would be running late. I spoke to a Marisa on the phone. When we arrived (20 minutes late), we were welcomed by Marisa quizzing us on if we called, and telling us she could only sit us in the hallway in a table meant for 2, with no space. After telling her that no she cannot sit us there because it was a hazard, and there was no room for my toddler nephew. She proceeded to tell us that she could sit us outside, but that we MUST leave by 1:45 for a large party. I have never been told at any restaurant to leave by a certain time. She was so rude and disrespectful. For the first time ever I had to speak to a Manager because it was unacceptable how she behaved. Our server on the other hand was amazing her name was Marbella and the other hostess Maddie, helped us defuse the situation and enjoy the rest of our time there. The food was great and the ambiance was enjoyable. My only and biggest complain that makes me doubt returning is rude hostesses, because they are the face of the restaurant and company. Who treats their customers like liars (over a small thing like a phone call which she shouldn’t have doubted us on) and practically kicks you out. Mind you there was two tables outside the whole time completely empty!!

The bread bowl and dip is some of the best dip I have had from anywhere in any state and any country. Everyone at thr table enjoyed the Bloody Mary's spicy or not they were a hit. I am not sure a bad thing was said about any food and all conversation stopped when the food came to the table which has always veen a good mark in my book. Ate the steak and eggs and they were fantastic good cut for the meet and nice pillowy scrambled eggs. So good I want to take my wife here next time we are in Tampa.

The food was fine but the service and ambiance left something to be desired. We made a reservation and the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived, but our table was not ready and the had to run around to find chairs for it. Our server had only worked there for a few shifts (and he is not to blame), but there was no one to assist him and help with questions or explain certain items on the menu. There isn't a kids menu here which is fine since my toddler eats what we eat,, but when we ordered the fresh vegetables, the broccolini was so laden with garlic that we couldn't feed it to him. I ordered the shrimp and grits and expected a bit of spice but it was almost flaming. I didn't mind the heat, but I couldn't share with my son. My MIL ordered a salad with grilled shrimp and those too were spicy. So much so she had to put them aside. I think the menu could be more detailed so we know what's coming. We love southern food, but southern food doesn't mean all dishes served need to be so spicy. Most likely won't come back.

Once got a burger with the wrong cheese another time it was missing a topping all together. 12/27/20‐ Very nice atmosphere. I recommend you make a reservation for Sunday brunch. I had a pitcher of red sangria (amazing), the spinach crab dip (heavenly) , and the mushroom omelette with the grits. Everything was good, but the omelette could use a little help because it was a little on the dry slide... it needs a hollandaise type sauce. Also there were a few bacon pieces in it and I don't eat pork. I picked it out instead of complaining because I was halfway done eating it. For that I took away a star. I'll be returning to try more items on the menu soon. I'll add to my review then. Happy eating!!!

Fun environment/ambiance, fantastic food, great servers. Reservation didn’t seem necessary but would not overlook it. We were able to be seated early for a 7:15 reservation on a Saturday night. Definitely get the grouper, simply divine. The tuna tartar and scallops are equally wonderful. Ask for Max, one of the best servers I’ve had in a while!

Throughout the entire process he was VERY responsive and accommodating leading up to the reserved day. The day of the reservation(8/17) the staff were very helpful in assisting with the set up. Our servers were Bryan & Jacqueline! Literally AMAZING! High energy and accommodating. Our overall experience exceeded my expectations. The food was also very prompt and delicious. Derek was incredible! He made our first experience here truly one to remember and gave one of many reasons to come back. He personally oversaw an off-menu egg sour made for my husband (that he loved!). My cocktails were fantastic. You also get SO much delicious food. I don't care for seafood, but my husband loved his grouper dish. I got the chicken and waffles. The cinnamon butter was delicious. Just all around awesome. Can't wait to come back!

Good food, but the scene there is pretty young, so it was very loud. Went during Saturday brunch and obviously the 20 dollar bottomless mimosas are a main attraction, which contributed to the noise. But the Complimentary Valet is a very nice touch, so at least that. Plus the waiter was very good.

While it was a bit of a hike from downtown Tampa, it was a solid experience, worth the trip. A simple, modern environment - while it can be a bit noisy, was still pleasant enough for dinner. The cocktail and beer selections are ample, except there are few choices for us wine... snobs. I know, first world problems. :) The food was very good and everything we had (carpaccio, cauliflower, burger, and short rib) was tasty and well prepared. The service was excellent - prompt and attentive. And Marbella did a great job of helping us with menu choices and highlights and the flavored popcorn was fantastic. Thanks Cask!

100% recommend! The food was KILLER. Started with the crab & spinach dip.... YES! It’s served warm in a bread bowl. The sourdough bread was incredibly fresh, soft and just delicious. The dip was a perfect mix of meat and creaminess. Next was the Ahi tuna stack. I am a HUGE ahi fan & from the dozens of places I’ve tried in Tampa, this is by far my favorite spot so far.- the mango, avocado and tuna was so fresh! Lastly was the filet benny. You won’t be disappointed. All these dishes went down perfectly with each cocktail. One of my favorite things is that each drink is served with a little “snack”. “Where there’s smoke there’s fire” old fashion has a roasted marshmallow (which is so good soaked in the bourbon) “it’s not even my birthday” is a weird described drink but SO GOOD!!! The carrot threw me for a loop but idk what is better, the drink or the carrot cake on top lol either way- you will not be disappointed. Especially since the DJ playlist is on point and the service is top notch! Matt & gabe are two of the friendliest bartenders! I don’t care how good food is, I’d the atmosphere and service doesn’t match, it’s ruined. I am so glad I made it in today, this will def be my go to place!

Where to begin. The service was adequate. Took the server 10 minutes to bring us water. However, he made up for it in keeping our mimosas filled. The food, however, left much to be desired. I ordered their Breakfast Bowl and it was very disappointing I ordered with over easy eggs, didn't get that. The potatoes were very bland. The whole dish was lacking. The table also ordered Chicken Biscuit appetizer. The bottoms of the biscuits were burnt. The chicken was over fried. The only saving grace were their drinks. Their French 75 and El Diablo were done well. 5/10 would not recommend.

Food was fantastic! Nothing ordered at our table disappointed!! I would definitely go back but a little wiser next time. Service was mediocre at best! I ordered the bottomless Mimosas which has an 1.5 hour time limit, and although I just paid my tab because we were a party of 12 with separate checks, I was still well within that 1.5 hr. window and the server told me I could not have another because I had already paid. We were not ready to leave, I just paid because I thought it would be easier for her. We never even saw her again once we paid, not even to clear plates or for coffee refills!! Also, had some kind of board covering vanity plumbing in women's bathroom that was not secured, fall on my foot and cut the side of my foot. I told hostess and all I got was "Yeah, sorry, we know. We're trying to fix it." and immediately dismissed me as she just turned her back to me; Not even an "are you okay?" as I'm trying to stop the bleeding with a bathroom towel!

My 2nd time here 1st was just impromptu Happy hour, so I decided to come back for dinner w my wife. So the hostess sits us next to a loud rowdy table of 8. The place was absolutely empty she could have sat us across the room somewhere away from that group. It took 10 minutes before a server greeted us after being seated. Again only 3 tables inside another party of 3 who felt like us I'm sure we couldn't even talk to each other since that large party was so loud. Which is fine but don't seat us next to them. After that the food and drinks came out pretty quickly. The chicken n waffles is just alright. The waffle was under cooked and doughy. Chicken was a a little fatty... The syrup was awesome though!!! Drinks were good tacos good desert good.

Cask Social’s food was okay... We were visiting from out of town. We sat outside, their Mimosas were good. However I did have to go to the restroom and the restroom was disgusting! Totally unacceptable. I was definitely grossed out... I’m sure we won’t be back anytime soon, if so we’ll go to American Social or Jacksons where it’s more upscale and cleaner.

My fiance' and I went to Cask for the first time and we were blown away!. The atmosphere of the place was amazing. The service was 5 star thanks to Derrick our bartender. The food was honestly the best I have had in a long time. We ordered the Grouper Tacos, Chicken Flatbread, Shrimp BLT, Black Bubbles drink and the Waffle Fries.Everything we ordered was amazing. We drove over an hour to come here and would happily do it again. I highly recommend this place! Whenever I come to Tampa, this is where I'm going.

Food was pretty good and atmosphere nice. The DJ was fire Thursday night. Drinks, however, we're not very good, especially considering the price. The $15 smokey old fashion was the worst thing I ever tasted. I was expecting smoked wood plank, like most bars do, but apparently they use tobacco. Tasted like someone put thier cigarette butts out in my drink. Couldn't drink even half of it. The Titos mule wasnt much better. Service was slow and inattentive despite few customers, but maybe they were salty because I (politely) sent the ashtray old fashioned back.

Our waiter's name was Andrea; she was very friendly and was ready to help us. We got the Chopped Salad and a flatbread. The salad was a negative experience, it was mostly lettuce and had little flavor. On the other hand, the flatbread was delicious and I finished it the same day at the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant, just don't order the Chopped Salad!

My friend and I visited on a Wednesday evening at around 8pm. Cool ambiance, but the place was pretty dead. I ordered the pretzel and a Caesar salad. Both were great! The main disappointment was that there were no drink specials. For being in this location on S Howard, there should be some kind of special every night! Maybe that’d get more people in the door.

Buffalo cauliflower bites are definitely very good, my friend liked the tuna tartar...but we both thought the other happy hr bites were just mediocre. The shrimp and grits were delicious but serving only brunch at 3:00 P.M. caught us off guard. We were prepared for more of a meal and settled for breakfast food. The deviled eggs were bland and didn't look like the ones in the pictures so they may have changed the recipe or not had all of the ingredients. Still this was a 4 star experience though I did debate marking it 3 stars due to the mandatory valet parking. Its complimentary valet but still, I am already in the parking lot, let me park my own car.

This was my first happy hour visit!! What fun!! Happy hour is from 4-6 with various apps and drinks on special! Since it was Tuesday, they also, had tacos and margarita. We did sit outside, even though it was hot, we found a table in the shade. Luckily for us, it was earlier in the afternoon and when the sun moved, we moved to a table that was in the shade. If you are planning on spending any time there in the afternoon, keep in mind the sun will move and you may not start out in the sun you will probably end up in the sun or moving tables. The margarita was amazing. I also, tried the house wine. The server said they switched the house. I wasn't super thrilled with Cabernet Sauvignon they had that week. It was super blah and no flavor. I switched over to a lovely Tempranillo. They really have a nice wine selection. With us starving, we decided to order a few dishes to share. Many of the menu items have 2 prices. One price is for a single serving of that dish and the next price is a larger serving. We ordered a couple of apps and the larger dish of the scallops. The food came out super fast, again, they weren't very crowded. Food was so goooooood!! They really have fresh and tasty flavors. We got the brussel sprouts with bacon. The brussels were a little under cooked and while they had a good flavor it wasn't super good. We also, had the calamari which was totally amazing, super fresh and still hot, the calamari was super tasty. The scallops were on bed of spinach and sweet potato rounds. DIVINE. So good. Our server was super attentive and really nice. He took time to help us make some choices and make sure everything was ok.

My significant other surprised me with taking me to Cask Social for my birthday dinner. He made the reservation for 7:15 pm on open table a week in adavance. The day of our reservation Cask called him to confirm that we would be there which he stated yes and they asked inside our outside and he stated inside. We arrived early at 7:00 pm and were told by the hostess that the only tables that were available were outside or the high top tables by the bar (which we stated outside was a no go and the high top tables are very small). Looking around the restaurant there were plenty of tables available, but the hostess stated that they had several large parties that night and that we would have to wait and hour and 15 minutes for a table inside to open up. I was of course upset by this... we had a reservation and how is that possible that we would have to wait such a long time when they're were atleast 6 tables that I could visually see that were open. She then said that she might have a reservation that may be a no show and she could possibly sit us at that table. We waited about 10 minutes and she came over and sat us. A hostess is the first impression of a restaurant and this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. However, I must say that this was the only mishap! Our server was amazing, the food was great, and the drinks were even better. I would have given Cask Social a 5 star review except for such an unorganized hostess team.

Well we didn't...the hostess were nice, we were seated immediately by the bar. 2 mins go by no service 5 mins go by no service...as we're sitting there, I see about 4 to 5 employees walk by and none of them helped us or see if we're being helped, the bartender noticed us but no service. Finally, a girl came by and asked us what we wanted to drink, we didn't know it was happy hour so we took literally three seconds looking at it and she got impatient and said well look over it and I'll be back, well she never came back...we sat there for a couple minutes more and the same thing, we saw employees stroll right by our table. I guess if I'm not tripping them or it's not their table, people are invisible to them. We ended up leaving to another restaurant in the area. Conclusion - Third time visiting, contemplating the decision...

By far the best mediocre restaurant in Hyde Park! Our meals were just like we imagined: savourless and full of spice less flavors. Like biting into a fresh open can of diced tomatoes that have been sitting in the back of your cabinet and expired two years ago, but hey they’re in a can, who cares. Very busy spot!! Cute yet cozy.. seated in 15 mins free valet just tip when you coming out. Was seat outside which was nice sun was out breeze was really cool. Football was on all TV's in the bar. Ordered the crab spinach dip and chicken and waffles with Sprite and coffee. Dip was more cheese than meat came in a bread bowl. Chicken and waffles was really good chicken was well seasoned Sprite was a sprite of course all drinks came in a Mason looking glass.. overall great experience for a sunday out..

Went here for the first time. Menu was limited but the food was pretty good. What is making me give Cask 3 stars is how terribly dirty the entire place is and lack of parking. This photo represents majority of the air vents in this restaurant. The bathroom was gross and the menus had food and stains on them. The table was sticky and the floor was VERY dirty. It grossed me out so much that I won't be coming back, which is fine because fighting for parking by itself wasn't worth it.

My fiancé and I had a late breakfast and decided we would visit CASK.I figured I would take him to a place that we had never been before since today is his birthday. I am so glad that I chose CASK. He had the breakfast tacos I had the shrimp and grits and we shared the truffled deviled eggs. Being fans of gastronomy and gastro pubs, we wanted this restaurant to be better. We tried an appetizer, soup and 3 entrées all being mediocre: The truffle deviled eggs had not one bit of truffle flavor, the onion soup was trying to be inventive and unique, but failed at having a deep onion flavor, and the entrées where overall just average. If we hadn't tried the other, better restaurants in the area, then perhaps this one could be viewed as a better spot.

A real gem in south Tampa with an eclectic menu. On my last visit (lunch) the server was obviously very new and service was a little spotty and awkward, but that happens and it won't keep me from going back. Go for the food for lunch and early dinner. Later in the evening the vibe changes with a large bar and patio if you're into that scene.

Cask is a commendable spot for a lunch full of good food and well-crafted drinks. The inside seating area is reminiscent of restaurants in Seminole Heights with its loft seating at the top, down-to-earth wood-grain walls and authentic, vintage decor. Upon entering, a design similar to that of a cork-wall, literally, made of the disposed wine bottle corks--two-toned (two similar kinds of cork). A bar further in, with a few seats at its counter, suggests a more intimate approach at the out-and-about-drinking for the seasoned veterans of Howard Avenue. Seating is rather limited, but the place itself has yet to boon, and I suspect it will soon. Brunch is straightforward but with culinary authenticity unlike most SoHo eateries. The Number Two is a crab eggs Benedict with flavor unrivaled yet in my adventures of new restaurants. For lunch, the Cask Low Country Carbonara. Simply excellent. The items on the menu for any time of day focus on seafood and country style vegetables. If you are looking for red meat, go for supper (dinner) and try the Filet Mignon. The pricing is very reasonable and the servings well-worth what they are priced. Drinks are crafted and keep the food in the back of its mind so pairing is suggested by this happy camper. And for the whiskey lovers, an aside--get your butt in one of their stools right away and sit in awe at their amazing selection. Wine connoisseurs, this place will meet your standards, although not as expertly as the wineries around town like Cooper's Hawk whom have their own selections. Early morning Bloody Mary's, martinis, and mimosas come well-mixed, as well as the Manhattans, of which there is a separate selection in its cocktails section. Suggestion: The Number Two and the Cask Manhattan.

We dined at Cask Social as a part of Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. We were eagerly anticipating the 3 course meal from our prior research from the Saturday before. Let me just say we were not disappointed and our waiter Derek made it spectaular! The first course: The truffle deviled eggs were great and I say that seriously because I do not eat deviled eggs outside of my own and two relatives We also had buffalo cauliflower and fried green caprese (not apart of the menu). The second course: My husband chose the shrimp and grits, I went for the grilled salmon mimosa salad, filled with fresh berries, other fruits on a bed of arugula with champagne dressing. The third course: We enjoyed creme brulee and bananas foster and yes it was flambéed! In closing, I have to say that our server Derek was a true gentleman, an excellent server and always gave us a friendly smile. We have already told our favorite couple about our experience and plan to return soon with guests.
