This place is delicious! The food was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is great. The prices are pretty high, though. The steak salad was fantastic and the peach Bellini was great. My tiramisu was a little too cold. I could feel the ice crystals as I bit through the cream. Would go back again if others are buying.

I was a frequent visitor to this restaurant in the past and have never been disappointed. I was back in town and decided to check it out again. It was just as good as I remembered! My wife and I were able to get a table outside on the patio. It's a great place to people watch everyone passing by the plaza. We started with the calamari and it was excellent. Our server Kim came by periodically to check on us. I ordered the shrimp and lobster fettuccine and it was outstanding, with generous portions of shrimp. My wife ordered the beef medallions and it was delicious. Great service, ambiance and food equals a 5 star review. Definitely recommend!

Such a great Italian style restaurant and food is always delicious. My husband is a huge medium rare steak kinda guy and always has a hard time finding a place that consistently cooks it to his liking and we have been here at least 10 times and the steak is cooked to perfection each and every time. No complaints whatsoever, every dish is delicious.

First timers at Brio Italian Grille. It was three of us and we had a great time. We went on Friday night so they had a little bit of a wait. Since it is located on the side of a mall, you can go shop while you're waiting for your table. Got our text promptly for our table in about 20 minutes. Hosts were accommodating and allowed us to move outdoors. Very nice terrace for people watching, and the British Pub next door had great live musician, so we enjoyed listening to him as we dined. Lamb appetizer was tender and flavorful, highly recommend, it didn't make it to it's photo shoot, so good! All drinks we tried, including my peach bellini and my friends peach martini she ordered, tasted great but weren't too strong. I wouldn't say this was the best Italian food we had but it was good. 4 stars for food and drink, first star is good the outdoor seating and everyday entertainment.

Decent meal but not many gluten free options other than we have GF noodles for like 3 dishes. Beautiful inside and very clean with really nice restrooms. Handicap accessible and on the main floor. The waitress we had was very sweet and as helpful as she could be. My husband loved his lamb chops, but my daughter was not a fan of the spaghetti Bolognese and my GF dish was bland. My daughter did love the cheesecake and I had some gelato that was very good but the only gf option for dessert. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious and GF that they served with celery sticks. They did have signs for a banquet room upstairs.

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant around us and after searching we decided to have Friday dinner at Brio Italian Grille. We made the plans before so we made the reservation before going to the restaurant. Do make sure to make the reservation in before otherwise you have to wait for long times. We were greeted by the reception and asked for the reservation. Since we made it before hand we were seated in less than 10 minutes. We were greeted by our server Alexander with butter and bread and for drinks we ordered Straw Limonata. After browsing through the menu we decided to order Lobster Ravioli, and for dinner we ordered Pasta Brio along with Margarita Flatbread with a side of Caesar Salad and for sweet we ordered Tiramisu cake. First we got our drink which was good. Then we got our Lobster Ravioli along with Caesar salad. The ravioli was cooked delicious and we loved the lobster ravioli. The caesar salad was also fresh and freshly prepared. We got our dinner too which included Pasta Brio and Margarita Flatbread. The pasta was also good along with the flatbread. Loved both of them. After the dinner we got the Tiramisu cake. The cake was delicious and tasty. Loved the food, decor of the restaurant and service. Amazing Italian restaurant.

To our surprise the steak was perfectly seasoned. Mashed potatoe was good too. Tuscan Sausage Scrambler was good too, but the ciabatta was way too salty to the point I couldn't eat it.

The food is pretty good! The only callout was that the lamb ordered was overcooked which was a bummer considering its one of the more expensive items on the menu. Service was struggling due to staffing issues when we went, but overall good experience.

I always come here and sit at the bar. Lately though the service has been slow every time I come between 5p and 7p for Happy Hour. It’s a Friday Eve today. The bartender guy seems to try. but he needs some help. There are tables outside around the bar waiting to be served. I’m sitting at the bar waiting, and he doesn’t look around the bar. It’s like he’s doing it all from getting dirty dishes, making drinks, cleaning up, and has no time to really eye the bar. EVERYONE is waiting, and we can’t get his attention. The lady manager who appears to be manager appears in a dress, helps restock some, but doesn’t even acknowledge the customers waiting around the bar to try and help. People have been waiting at the surrounding tables around the bar just waiting and waiting. It’s really sad. Come Brio! You have great happy hour food and drinks! Get it together! The bartender looks completely beat and disgusted

I will recommend a steak grill salad but… stay away from Brio Pasta. Chicken chewy over grilled. If you expecting reach Italian taste it is not there.😞 …

Brio is a must visit if you are connoisseur for Italian food. And if you do, please do not miss the the Shrimp and eggplant starter! The dish is prepared in a creamy black pepper sauce which I feel literally goes with anything! For main course we tried the shrimp and lobster fettuccine as well as the brio chicken pasta. The fettuccine was pretty good but a bit pricey. We felt the brio pasta was slightly bland so you may consider an alternative.

Great salmon fresco and great chicken. The guy behind the bar, the 'bartender' seemed a little overwhelmed and too loud, yelling at coworkers, we had to listen to that, but that would be my only complaint. But great food. And service otherwise

This was our first visit. Very impresses. Excellent menu selection. Prices weren't too bad. Had Chicken Limone, Chicken Marsala and Gorgonzola crusted beef medallions. Also tried their lobster bisque, calamari and shrimp with eggplant. All were scrumptious. Atmosphere is typical of a mall restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.

Excellent family style upscale dining, in a beautiful restaurant with good service. We had calamari, baked ziti, bread and butter, drinks, salad, salmon, steak and sides. Fast delivery of food and lots of room for our big group of 50. Location is a bit tricky to find if it's your first visit, but once you find it you'll like walking around the large outdoor mall area with many other bars and restaurants. They also have take out containers if you want to save your leftovers and bring them back home. There's also a few balconies with nice overlook of the outside area. Lots of palm trees in the patios. Thanks!

Good food, reasonable prices and very pleasant staff. Everyone in my party enjoyed their early dinner. The one star off might seem unfair, but it's because of the limited options for someone with a dairy allergy. Happily the one item was quite good, if a bit bland.

The server could have been a bit more attentive but food was delicious!! Definitely recommend the shrimp and lobster pasta. I love that the lobster was in bigger chunks and not in a shredded or grated consistency. We also loved the spinach dip! It was served with larger pieces of chips (as seen in the picture) which was different but nice. The sangria was also delicious. I’d definitely go back

The lobster bisque soup is delicious. The sausage and pepperoni flatbread with ricotta cheese looks like a pizza versus a rectangular pizza. Delicious. My uncle and husband ordered the salmon salad and salmon with pasta and they were both cooked well. The waitress was prompt and checked in with us to see if we needed anything.

Definitely 5 stars. Food is always amazing. My wife and I shared 3 pasta dishes and all were great. I recommend the pasta a la vodka. We customized all 3 because my wife is vegetarian and everything came out perfect. We also loved the cappuccino and lemon ricotta cheesecake for dessert. Daniel was our waiter... he was very familiar with the menu and was overall wonderful!

Fantastic second wedding anniversary dinner. I had the delicious and cheesy lasagne and my wife had the pasta brio. I had the ensalada, which was mixed greens with a creamy parmesan sauce. My wife had the chicken soup. Both tasted very good. The ambience was delightful. We had the berries with grand marnier and amaretto for dessert. The bread basket was a great starter. The portion sizes are huge. We had Arnold Palmers to drink. The restaurant features coke products and has a lounge area. The upstairs has banquet rooms. The whole restaurant is handicap accessible. The banquet rooms are spacious and have great decor. In fact, my wife and I got married in one two years ago and the service was very good so we come back every year. Truly a great dining experience. My wife and I come back every year for our wedding anniversary. This year we had another fantastic meal for our fifth wedding anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Very delicious and large portions.

Restaurant was recommended by a coworker. Beautiful place on the mall area in Tampa. We had a reservation for 15 and were seated right on time. The food was amazing. We had apps of calamari, carpaccio, pasta, and lamb lollipops. So good! Main courses were also delicious and enjoyed by all, from the braised beef, to chicken pasta, Penne alla vodka, Beef medallions, lasagna and lots of other dishes. Great wine selection and a popular boubon drink was a favorite of the guys. Lava cake and mascarpone cheesecake were delightful, but the bread pudding was a little too much chocolate, not really traditional. All in all we had a fabulous time!!

Review is based on similar restaurants such as Magianno's. To start - our waiter Scott was very good; attentive and efficient for our Valentine's Day Eve! I was a bit surprised about how good the Brio Old Fashioned was to start off the evening - worth a try. I stayed with a house specialty Chicken Milanese with a bed of herb pasta. My rating is average - the pasta and marinara were quite good but the chicken was not prepared to order and tasted a bit precooked. My spouse chose the lasagna which she enjoyed. She could not stop raving about the delicious warm sourdough bread. I tried the tiramisu dessert which was freshly thawed with some frozen edges still in place....not very good. Overall Brio's is stiil worth a try - the setting was very comfortable.

Meal was okay. I had grilled cheese, my bf had Crusted Chilean seabass. He enjoyed his fish. We also both enjoyed the spinach dip as an appetizer. I ordered a Malibu Baybreeze and the waiter asked if I wanted another, I said yes. I received a Seabreeze with grapefruit juice. 😑 I had my bf try it to ensure it wasn't just me. He agreed and mentioned to the waiter. The waiter argued with him and told him that is what's supposed to be in a Baybreeze. 😑 He checked with the bartender and came with the correct drink this time and apologized to me (not to my bf too). Then we were charged for all 3 drinks even though they'd mistakenly given me the wrong drink. We weren't happy but my bf didn't want to argue with the waiter again. Wasn't a very pleasant experience.

Really nice atmosphere really great food The food is actually pretty damn good. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new place to eat or if you really like Italian food this would definitely be the place for you. it's inside of the international Mall right next to cheesecake factory. The staff was okay. Our waiter could have been more timely with our refills and could have had a bit more personality. would definitely recommend for a friend or a family member to try out.

Great food and good service. The restaurant setting wad great for a nice quiet date. Booths and tables are big/roomy. The waitress first brought out a basket of bread with the drinks... bread wad so soft accompanied with a hard type of multi-grain peta bread. Chop salad with parmesan dressing was great. Pictures shown are chicken pesto flat bread, chicken marsala with golden mashed potatoes, veggies and a balsamic glazed salmon with asparagus. All food is prepared fresh and awesome! There is NO smoking in side or on the patio. Of course don't forget your 20% military discount on the food. Enjoy!

We enjoy coming to International Plaza's Bay Street to eat. This time we chose Brio on Saturday July 14, 2018- around 830 PM. When entering the restaurant, the interior was frigid cold. (I am originally from up north, so that's saying something) The hostess stand girl was very friendly and we asked to be seated outdoors in a quiet seating area. There were seats immediately available. Some tables have candles, so I asked for one to be placed on our table as this was date night with the wife. It never came though. The underneath of the table was not swept, and there was food from previous patrons and crayons underneath it. Otherwise the restaurant was clean and tidy. The waitress was nice and super friendly and very prompt/attentive. The bread and crackers came out without butter, so we had to ask for it The butter was a slice of real butter when it did come out. We are not fish eaters so we wanted something like Chicken parmigiana, which is more our speed when we eat Italian. For this, order the Chicken Milanese. It is basically chicken parm, except the sauce is underneath and not on top. It was very good. We also ordered salads and you can have them tailored ( like no tomatoes or onions, etc) For doggie bags, they took our plates to the back to put our food in to go containers. I am not usually very comfortable with my food leaving my sight as I do not know if I am getting my food back or if the utensils they use are clean/unused, etc. I would prefer they do this at my table in front of me. We enjoyed our visit to Brio. It was our first time here and were glad we came.

Absolutely amazing! This was my first time here. We came for a baby shower which was hosted in their upstairs banquet room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had the Pasta Alla Vodka, Wedge and Cobb salad, kids pepperoni pizza, Chicken Limone, and Grilled Salmon Fresca. For sides we had the Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and the Tuscan Roasted Veggies. Then for dessert we had the Creme Brûlée. All the food was extremely delicious. The salmon was so full of flavor and melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful. And omg don't get me started on the creme brûlée!!! Absolutely amazing. I believe this was the BEST creme brûlée I've ever had. Definitely a must to splurge on dessert. The kids pizza was surprisingly delicious and didn't remind me of a kids entree. It was big and tasty. Thank you for an amazing lunch, Brio. You definitely have great food. I'll definitely be coming back to this place with my family. Definitely recommend!!

I'm going to fast forward this review. Must tries are the Carpaccio and the Shrimp and Egg Plant. I'm in NO way a fan of egg plant, but the chef makes it flavorful and textured Awesome service that won't be beaten anywhere. Drinks are tasty and strong! Laid back crowd compared to other Happy Hour places, but it's busy because it's that good. The decor is not as impressive as other venues, but what BRIO lacks in decoration is made up in principle of what makes a great restaurant. Highly recommend as a more casual atmosphere with AWESOME food and drinks at shocking prices. Say hi to Kimberly who manages this gastro delight.

Love coming here for happy hour at the bar. The appetizers are delicious, the drinks are great. I personally prefer going with a friend to have a tapas-style meal. Also great for a nice, sit-down dinner, or course, but I prefer the former. Will always be a fan of the carpaccio (and I'm so sad they took it off of the happy hour menu). The lobster bisque is also a favorite - they def top off the soup with a generous portion of lobster meat. Tried the calamari and a pesto flatbread, and was not disappointed. The service was good (not great) last time I was there, but I still plan on going back since in the past it's been on point.

Absolutely amazing. I came to Brio Tuscan Grille for Mothers Day with my family and we had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious. There was just empty plates and big smiles. First time at Brio and Faye was an awesome server! Excellent suggestions, with a through understanding of the menu. She was at our table within a minute of sitting down with waters and warm welcomes! Nice and clean establishment. The staff were friendly and personable, which is always a plus. They were very accommodating. All of the food was impeccable. This place is now in my top 5! My drink was perfectly made (I had an old fashion), and my food was perfectly seasoned and cooked! If you like Lamb chops, you have to try theirs. It comes with some small portion of spinach. You guys, I don't know what they seasoned that spinach with, but I can go back just to eat a bowl of it by itself!!! The calamari and my entree, the grilled salmon fresca, my friends entree, the lobster and shrimp fettuccine, were all VERY flavorful and filling!!!! And let me tell yall about that damn caramel mascarpone Cheesecake!!!!! We had already decided if we didn't like it, we were heading to the cheesecake factory to get a slice. They shut us all the way up... what the heck is a cheesecake factory lol? That was the best freaking cheesecake ever! It wasn't thick and heavy feeling, and the flavor was unexplainable. After writing this review, I think I'm going back this weekend!! This place is a must go! BRAVO BRIO 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The food is very good and the restaurant has excellent ambiance for both a casual and professional setting. There is a super cute outdoor seating area which abuts the international mall’s outdoor entrance/walkway. Really nice to sit out there in the evenings. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everything I have had from the menu was excellent. The bruschetta and lamb are particularly good.

Fantastic lunch options and that bread is killer. If you're looking for a quick lunch, Brio can get you in and out fast. This is perfect for people who are in this area on their lunch hour. You would think that all the restaurants in this area would be known for that, but surprisingly that isn't the case. It was one of the few nice days in Tampa so we decided to sit outside. They have nice outside covered seating. The highlight of the whole meal was the bread basket they bring to the table. I know, that was really the highlight? Yes! There is bread that seems more like a cracker that has a bit of a cheesy taste that is absolutely delicious. I had to ask them to bring more of that specific bread! I went with the soup and salad lunch combo. I got the white bean soup and Caesar salad. When the server explained the white bean soup he didn't say anything about meat in it. Just a heads up because white bean soup, to me, sounded vegetarian, so I was surprised when it wasn't. It was really good, but if I had known it had meat I probably would have gone with something else. The Caesar salad was also very good. Overall I think this is a great lunch spot and they have a ton of good lunch menu options.

The pasta alla vodka is amazing!!!! Everything about it was delicious, I was a little worried at first when the waitress said there's no meat in it, but I still ordered it and I am not disappointed! The only disappoint to my party was the hard table bread, but the pita was delicious also. Another recommendation is the crab cake! That is my first ever having crab cake that is more crab versus breading! I had to order one for home, that's how amazing it was. The service was impeccable, everyone was nice and friend and quick. Already planning date night with my boyfriend to go there next!!!

Food was excellent! My wife and I had Italian wedding soup, carpacciio and lamb chops appetizer. Top notch! I am pretty particular about my martinis and the barman, Eric, made absolutely fabulous gin martini, one of the best I have ever had. My daughter had salmon salad and it was terrific. Brio was good. We enjoyed an appetizer bruschetta sampler and an artichoke dip and both were great. The artichoke dip came with some large crispy chips which were unique in a good way. We had a few extra which accompanied our main meal of two Steak Gorgonzola Salads. The Steak Gorgonzola Salad is my go-to every time. It is absolutely fabulous in every way. Crunchy chopped veggies with a tender steak and real blue cheese - chunky, stinky, blue and delicious! They were understaffed and so the service was a little bit haphazard, but they as best they could with the crowd at hand. I will return and would recommend. Brio used to be my wife's favorite restaurant, so much that we have bought a few hundreds dollars of gift cards for a couple of years but not last year. It feels like they have cut corners on their recipe specifically, the mushroom ravioli. Last visit Friday, I had the fried calamari for dinner which was very good but the chopped salad was pitiful. It lacked flavor and they were stingy with the feta cheese and other goodies. I ate a couple of bites and took it home. I will eat it when I get really hungry. Restaurants should know if you can't put out a decent meal because of the price point raise the price.Tasteless food is never worth the money. I always tip at least 20% of the bill. It is a shame that a better, harder working server makes less because of the menu prices.

I enjoy Brio during happy hour while seated at the bar or bar area. Their high top tables along the Cafe sidewalk in the bar are always my first choice. When the weather tolerable the clear vinyl wind/rain panels are opened up for a nice breeze and view of all the shoppers strolling Baywalk. Their happy hour foods (at the bar area near the Cafe windows) are delicious and wonderful to share. We always end up ordering several HH appetizers and HH drinks.

Went to Brio for a birthday dinner there were about 12 of us. We had a reservation for 5:30. We arrived at 5:25 and were not seated until just after 6pm. The hostess said it would be just a few minutes when we got there at 5:25. It wasn't until we asked again 15 minutes later on the status of our table that we could actually see them putting the tables together for us. They weren't even busy so I am not accepting that as an excuse. I completely understand if we walked in and asked for a table for 12, but what is the point of making a reservation if you have to wait almost 1/2 hour to be seated at your table? I understand the service industry is short staffed right now- however the hostess could have communicated that to us instead of simply leaving us to the side wondering what is happening. NOW on to the food! It was delicious. I don't go here often but when I do the food is always amazing. I had the lobster bisque and the grilled steak salad. Others at my table had different pastas, chicken and pizza. Our server was great also and very attentive for the size party we had and he was on his own.

While we were talking with the host about our table another gentleman rudely interrupted to discuss some large table that was to be seated later in the evening and then left us standing there. We waited for 10 minutes, watched the rude gentleman seat 2 others tables until we pulled him aside and asked what happened to our table. He apologized and seated us. Waitress forgot our beverages and brought crackers when we asked for bread. She also brought the check before we had finished eating. Apart from the service blunders, the Beef Carpaccio was delicious as always, the Wente Chardonnay was delightful and the flatbread was tasty and perfectly prepared.

First time there. Service was great but man was some of the food bad. Pastas were great but portions were minimal. Chicken tenders for my daughter were just super salty breading not a hint of chicken. Lamb chops were so small and "crusting" was a little slice of melted cheese on the top of the lamb and was not good. Lobster bisque was good but no lobster. Bruhscetta sampler was pretty good though. Server was super attentive and accommodating but he seemed to only hear me and not my wife and daughters.... they might have been a bit quiet but it made me question.

I never write reviews, and I must say I absolutely adore the food from Brio, particularly the Pasta Alla Vodka. But my last experience with the restaurant has been unpleasant. I placed an online order for pickup 3 and a half weeks ago. I ordered the Saturday deal for the Pasta Allá Vodka for my family. I purchased the one for $60 that supposedly served 4-5 people as the site said, as well as the calamari appetizer and a lasagna. I was so shocked when I opened the tray with the pasta allá vodka and am not exaggerating when I say that it served maybe 2 people, my family of 4 had to serve ourselves about 3 or 4 tortellini each! The amount in the tray didn't even cover the full bottom of the tray. We were way better off buying 2 full dishes for $19 a piece, as this was not a deal, but a total rip off. The calamari was also a much, much smaller portion than we've had in the restaurant, and we paid full price for this (no special deal on this appetizer). So it should have been the same portion as served in the restaurant. I called that night and an assistant manager told me a manager would get back to me the following Monday, but never did. She also said that this deal isn’t supposed to be full, large servings like in the physical restaurant and was basically trying to brush off my concern. But then if you advertise that it serves 4-5 people, that's a lie and completely false advertising, and you shouldn't sell it for 60 dollars! But no one ever got back to me, which does not display very good customer service. I've attempted to reach out by phone and email 4 or 5 times now with no success. I understand that perhaps the restaurant is short staffed and experiencing food supply shortages (not sure), but I don’t think that is a reason to false advertise a deal and rip off customers with really high prices and very small portions. And that is certainly not a reason to not reply to a customer for weeks on end. My family and I adore Brio but we were so bummed out that we had to basically scrap for food, and that’s no fun when you’re starving. If this is how they handle online order food portions, they shouldn’t be doing online orders at all. This makes me not really want to order or eat here again. EDIT: Changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. After posting this, a manager finally called me and asked me to explain the situation and offered me a gift card. He understood me and agreed that I had been underserved. I received the gift card 4 days later in the mail. Thank you so much to that manager for his help!

5 star lobster bisque. *** Update 9/12. Loud, obnoxious chef? with Cuban accent barking orders at the cooks but not actually cooking. It was exceptionally distracting and off-putting. One of the best welcoming experiences I’ve had an establishment. However, our server was extremely slow and forgot about us. Our server was gone so long that when he finally came to the table our food had came. The food was exceptional though. We had the shrimp and eggplant which was amazing. I also had a peach Bellini which had real peach chunks 😍. Also, ask for the olive oil tray with the bread you won’t regret it. The manager Nick was really nice and accommodating though. The customer service here is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend got the Mezza Chicken Milanese which was fantastic. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli which I wasn’t a big fan of and they were super apologetic about it! It’s very rare for us to eat at a place where the employees seem to genuinely care about the guests. Finally we went after more than a year to Brio as that was one of my favorites in Tampa to go to as it has a nice atmosphere and good food which was good yesterday. It seemed that they may have been understaffed a bit as our waiter Emily had disappeared for quite a while when we wanted to order a glass of wine with our meal. However, she was extremely helpful with the selection of the wine, friendly and professional and did a good job! I think it would be time for Brio to address some remodeling of the restaurant as it starts to look a bit old, especially the sinks in the bathrooms are in need of some detailed and thorough cleaning and so are some spots in the restaurant as well. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch but I would be more excited to come back if I knew there were some updating.

Met some friends for lunch. Menu is as expected for northern italian and they do it right. Our table of 12 had a couple of minor issues with substitutions that were not done as requested but when noted to the server were corrected immediately. Definitely recommended. This is a restaurant I know I can count on. I’ve done several dinners here of varying sizes, and the food and service has been phenomenal each time. Thomas was our server the last two visits, and I will definitely request him specifically for our next happy hour event. I highly recommend the beef carpaccio and martinis to start. Wow! This is literally the best restaurant we've gone to!! Quick review: Clean family friendly! A lot of places that are "family friendly" seem to have sticky tables, floors, somewhat dirty cups and staff that hate their job.... This restaurant was VERY CLEAN EVERYWHERE, VERY kind staff, and had the atmosphere of high end restaurant but was very kid friendly, even welcoming to having children! Very reasonably priced too!!! Long Review: First off the table was very comfortable and nice and it was also set for family friendly, not like Denny's icky "family friendly", it had paper over the table cloth so kids could draw on it. Our son is almost 4 and daughter is 5 months. They had a coloring book with crayons. They promptly got him orange juice in a fun kid friendly cup. When ordering we briefly mentioned our son couldn't have milk so no cheese on the burger and the waiter came back and said that the bun had milk and gave us another option, that's the first time anyone has ever looked into allergies in the bread/food. The manager pleasantly stopped by our table and asked if it was our first time at the restaurant, with a friendly greeting and welcoming she gave us a sample of their most popular dish, which was amazing!! everything we ordered was topnotch, best burger meat flavor we've ever had, you can tell they use quality meat! Would we go again, YES YES YES! We've been to 5 star restaurants and this topped them all in service, food, and atmosphere!!!

I just ordered over $60.00 worth of food from Uber. The lobster shrimp fettuccine does not even remotely look like the picture! My bf is very picky so I ordered him that because it looked pretty plain and simple but looked good. What I got was a oily based sauce with very little lobster and a ton of cherry tomatoes. No scallions like in the picture. And Uber sucks! I was only refunded $5.00 for a $25.00 dish! Never again!

Food was absolutely amazing. It is very hard to impress me at an Italian restaurant but Brio went above and beyond. The food was prepared to perfection and the portions were big for the price which left me pleasantly surprised. The staff was superb and our waitress went out of her way to make sure every need was met. We went out with our whole family tonight so we had small children with us and she made sure their food came out quickly and they had everything they needed. The meals off the kids menu were almost big enough to feed an adult. Very glad we got two to split between three kids. We still had leftovers to come home.

I like this place and had a great time on my birthday here. Waiter was very pleasant. Food was good. I would not order the calamary appetizer again, because the very small portion was not even enough for one person, let alone to share... much smaller than in other comparable restaurants... The atmosphere here is classy and tables and chairs are very comfortable.

Wednesday Happy Hour with Martini specials and amazing bar bites is highly recommended. I had a dirty martini that was perfection, filled to the rim and blue cheese stuffed olives made the taste phenomenal. The Spicy Shrimp and Eggplant appetizer is something will order again and again. The sauce made this dish even better. The bartender was extremely attentive to our needs and frequently checked on our status.

It is unbelievable to me that this restaurant is a chain (which we discovered after our meal). We were told the food is made from scratch while ordering and nothing we experienced indicated otherwise. Each item tasted...fresh. The wedge salads were generous in size. If you don't enjoy a great deal of salad dressing you may want to request it on the side. A flatbread pizza appetizer was tasty and a nice portion. The Entree's were both served at a great temperature and had a fantastic flavor. A side of Fettuccine Alfredo was delightful. We opted for the three mini-dessert option after the meal and it was more than two people could handle! Excellent and friendly service topped off the experience. Excellent establishment and we will return!

We just stopped by for dessert as we ate right before going to the mall. Amazing creme brulee. I usually don't care for key lime pie, but I found it to be surprisingly good and refreshing. Indoors has a fine dining area, but is very cold, we sat out on the small patio area for a more laid back experience. Our waitress,(I'm sorry I couldn't remember her name), was very sweet and attentive.

We came across Brio while hunting for a spot to eat while at International Plaza. The service was good as were our drinks and entrees. Everything was reasonably priced for being in a high-end area as well. Our only criticism was when my dining partner’s entree came out, a salmon dish, it was missing the salmon! We took it in stride, they prepared another, and it was wonderful. Worth checking out when at International Plaza and needing a decent spot to eat...just make sure the salmon is on the plate!

As far as International mall food is concerned, this is one of the quietest restaurants with a cozy atmosphere. They have a seasoning blend for their steaks that tastes amazing. Tried asking around but apparently its top secret. We have never had a bad meal here and the Sunday brunch is surprisingly good. Lobster bisque is perfection here as well.

Had a special work outing tonight and was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. We only had a party of 8 but had 2 servers who checked back frequently. We ordered 1 of each appetizer and I couldn't get enough of the artichoke dip. It was fantastic. Another new fave of mine was the lobster bisque. I order it every chance I get and this was by far the best bisque out of any restaurant I've ever had! I was on the fence about getting the pork t-bone but I'm glad I got it...it was moist and delicious. I will definitely be returning and telling all my friends about this place.

The mature d’ was rather curt when seating us for dinner. I had the Spagetti Bolognese and my wife had the Chicken Scaloppine. They were both good but only average Italian and nothing special. The service was poor and therefore the reason for only 3 stars. Not on my recommended list.

5-15-21 Had the chicken, capers, rapini, and mashed potato dish. Good but the rapini was limp, some chicken breasts a bit tough. Their little crusty triangle breads were delicious and the nine-ounce pinot gregio pour was deep and delicious, more like 10 ounces. The air was too cold. Don't think I'll go back. Service was very good. Very attentive waitress and we tipped accordingly.

Nice venue. Good was very good. The fried calamari was different in the sense that it was think n not a ring, but extremely tender. Salad was delicious. I was in the meeting n private party areas n unfortunately the next room had a loud birthday party. I think that the rooms could have been distributed differently so that there party didn't effect the information seminar that I was attending. It was hard to hear our speaker over their laughter n singing. Point off for not planning that out better.

One of the few chain restaurants worth visiting. This place always delivers. I have been here for lunch, dinner, busy holidays, for business and large family celebrations. No matter the occasion, the service has always been great and the food consistently delicious. The shrimp and lobster risotto is amazing. If you want to be extra indulgent, ask the chef to pour some lobster bisque over it. To die for!

Good morning, I'm reaching out today to draw attention to my family and I's recent experience at the Brio Tuscan Grille, Tampa, FL 2223 N. Westshore Blvd Suite B209 location. Last night we decided to stop into this specific restaurant location for dinner after my visit to Tampa for work. We were brought to a table in which Matt G. was our server during our visit. From the moment we first had our introduction to Matt the experience we had was fantastic! Matt was extremely pleasant, respectful, knowledgeable of the menu and specials along with different wine selections. Matt's presence and visits to our table were always appropriately timed and perfectly complimented the deliciously prepared meal. I work for one of the largest financial institutions in the world as a corporate education manager that leads and develops associate learning, building relationships, and client experience, so when I observe individuals that exude exemplary behaviors and traits that Matt showed us, I wish more were like him! Also, one of the most important pieces to this experience was that the air conditioning unexpectedly stopped working during our visit which made the temperature in the restaurant higher than comfort level, but the calm, cool, and collective professionalism from Matt, partnered with the delectable meal, distracted my family from the temperature spike. The manager Susan also stopped by to apologize for the heat, and was just as much a comforting and enjoyable experience. Overall, our visit was 5 stars even with the A/C unexpectedly going down. Matt G., his Manager Susan, and the chefs that prepared our meal kept our experience top tier and COOL during our first visit to Brio Tuscan Grille! Matthew (Matt G) was the absolute BEST when it came to caring for the four of us at lunch! Not only did he go above and beyond the "usual" task to provide everything we ordered, etc. but he made an extra and appreciated effort to acknowledge my wife and my anniversary celebration of our wedding. In addition, there was a (hardly noticeable to us) slight delay in the delivery of a drink so Matthew took it upon himself to ask the manager for, and receive, a complimentary specialty drink for that person who was waiting. How nice is that? He has a great personality too! Matthew's an incredible representative of Brio Tuscan Grille's customer-oriented staff. Oh, and the restaurant's fabulous. "5-Stars" on the food, the cleanliness and every other aspect of our meal. This could turn out to be our new "go-to" restaurant for all special occasions! P.S. - This is written by someone who RARELY writes a review!

The food here was very good. I got a lobster and shrimp pasta and I loved it. I'm leaving three stars for a few reasons. For one, it took a long time to be seated. We had reservations, and we arrived before our reservation tine. We were told that it would just be a few minutes, but it was actually over a 15 minute wait. And we had to approach the hostess stand to figure out what was going on. It's proper courtesy to provide an accurate estimate of how long it will take to be seated. If it will be 15 minutes, apologize and let us know. But giving a vague time frame and not updating us when it goes beyond a few minutes is rude. This restaurant was not busy by any means, so there's no excuse. Also, it took a long time to have drinks brought to us. Again, this restaurant was not busy. Then they were out of the wine we ordered and lemonade. It's weird because we were there early on a Friday evening. So when did you run out of a menu item? It took forever to have bread brought out. I think all the issues may come down to lack of organization. I would probably come here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. The food was really good, so that's a majorly redeeming quality.

Brio is good, but just not great. I've been a few times and it's always a few notches below great. I would have given a 3.5 if I could. The good parts are the staff and decor. They start you off with sour dough bread and a crispy cracker bread. Both are good,but the sourdough bread does not feel like it fits for Italian. The calamari is nice and tender but is not crispy. It's a little on the soggy side. I've had a few of their pastas with the chicken rigatoni being my favorite. I asked for al dente and they delivered nicely. Flavors are very mild. Italian food while simple can be very favorable depending on the quality of the ingredients. Overall, I feel I've given them a fair shake and probably will not return on my own.

We had a little different than usual experience at Brio because we went there for a networking event. The upstairs has a bar for the events and event dining rooms. We were able to choose from a menu of 3 items. The two of us happened to choose Bistecca. The meals were good, albeit a bit cold (which is more than understandable given the number of people they were serving). The price was good, too. I will say that the wines upstairs are overpriced (like, more than most wines are). We each got a glass of Decoy (9 oz) that cost more than a bottle would at Publix.

The food is excellent, however if you are looking for a new place to celebrate birthday's and special occasions, this is NOT the place. As I said the food is excellent, but they totally ignore the special occasion - we are BIG on celebrating. We put the "special note" on our online reservation AND told the waitress that we were celebrating a birthday and they did nothing, then find out as we were leaving they have a small cake for such celebrations - I guess you have to dance on the table to get the cake, not sure. Go for the food, not to celebrate...very disappointing.

Last night, I took my mom out to dinner to Brio. She doesn't like to go out to dinner now, with COVID being a major concern for her. Upon entering, we asked about seating options and we were able to get a booth, which provided us with plenty of room to be distanced from other guests. Everyone was wearing a mask, there was hand sanitizer available on the tables, and we felt safe eating out (they have options to eat indoor or outdoor). Not only this, but the food was AMAZING!! We were very happy with our experience at Brio and will return in the future.

I hate to write a mixed review of Brio, because I absolutely love the food, but I feel like this particular Brio has gone down hill. My family and I went in mid-afternoon, and there was no hostess to seat us after a few minutes of waiting, so we went to the bar and sat at a high top that had yet to be cleaned up from the last patron (no tables at the bar had been cleaned up). After about 5 minutes of waiting and my Uncle asking for help, someone finally came to clean to the table. They didn't clean any of the other dirty tables around us, but at least ours was somewhat wiped up, but it still felt dirty... and we had no plates or silver even after they brought bread I had to get up and hunt it down. The waitress tried her best and the food was fine once it finally came, but come on Brio management you are in International Plaza with a lot of competition, do better or I can see you being the next restaurant to shut down.

Excellent food. I asked for a salmon pasta dish that wasn't on the lunch menu (they have it for dinner) and they were very accommodating . The dish was amazing! The pasta carbonara was tasty as well and full of flavor. Will definitely come again!

Placed an online order. You're able to pick up your order in the front at the host stand. No need to walk through the restaurant to another area, unlike some other places. The order was ready in time, everything was accurate and tasted great!

I have eaten at many different Brio locations across the country over the years. This one has spottier than usual service at tables in the bar area, regardless of how crowded it is. The patio and restaurant empty out early compared to other restaurants at International Plaza's "Bay Street", a mixed blessing on nights when it's hard to find a table elsewhere. The food is pretty good for a chain. There is no beer on draft.

Thomas, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and very attentive. Once we received our entres I had made a private comment to my sister that I only had one pice of lobster in my shrimp and lobster Alfredo (I only said this to her so she wouldn’t eat it) but Thomas overheard the comment which he promptly brought me more to add to my Alfredo. He went out of his way to make sure our food and experience was up to expectation.

We went for our first time on Thursday and there were a few issues but good highlights. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and seated which was nice. We have been meaning to try this place for some time and heard many good reviews. Our waiter was a nice gentleman who seemed slightly newer but eager to help us understand the menu though when we asked what certain items were because it was our first time, it was a confusing experience due to the way he communicated what the items were or how he viewed them. He was sweet though. We waited a while for our appetizer and was not offered bread like other tables around us (we asked ourselves which may be policy but he told us he forgot about it). We got the sausage and onion jam flatbeard as an appetizer which was really good but we wished it was crisper so the items would not fall off the flatbeard so easily. The flavors were really good overall. We both ordered the carbonara as our entrees but were disappointed in the taste and the temperature of our food. Mine was lukewarm and the sauce had a different taste to it that left my stomach feeling sick. A bug also fell onto our table (a smaller insect) but it may be due to being placed next to the emergency door or the air vent closest to us. We were given the check without being asked if we wanted dessert and the tray of desserts brought to us had replicas of the items being served but the items offered differed from the website (which is fine and that does happen at some establishments) but the tray was disorganized and looked old. We ordered the creme brulle. The flavor of the custard was really good but it was cold (which did not take away from the experience but we are used to heated custard so giving fair warning) and had a huge strawberry on top that was barely sliced so we had to stab through the strawberry to get to the custard but it made the flavors so delicious. A suggestion may be to slice the strawberry into smaller, more manageable pieces but the flavor was great. Overall, it wasn't entirely impressive but it was a beautiful restaurant with clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

Giving a 3 star because of a degrade in quality and portion. Starting from the soda ( Pepsi) on my case was so watery, we had been a regular visitor to this restaurant and never had such a bad experience. The server was also rude.

Food was pretty good. Went there last night- party of ten. Service was spotty. Hostess seemed annoyed upon our arrival. We had two servers> one was very good, the other not good. Our check arrived without asking for it and was taken off table before we left. Mens bathroom was out of paper towels. Some of our dessert orders were missed. Anyway, nothing we'd race back to. The Brio at UTC appears to be managed better in comparison. Service was the big downfall for our dinner.

2nd time I went here with co-workers. Amazingly delicious chicken/pesto flatbread. I didn't care for the Calamari. It was rubbery and barely breaded; not crispy. I felt the pieces were cut too thick as well. Server was outstanding! Wish I could remember her name; she needs a shout out!

Excellent Filet Mignon! Spinach dip was good, but didn't care for the tortillas it came with. Pesto pasta was not good at all. However, the server took it off our check. Additionally, he comped the dip. Will be back someday.

OMG. SO. YUMM! So, it's a MUST you try the crab cake.. I know a little pricy (1 for $17) BUT OH SO WORTH IT! And YES, use the dipping sauce it comes with 🤤.
