Wonderful dinner for my daughter's birthday. 7 people in our party. Our server Matt was awesome! Very attentive and checked on us regularly. For appetizers we had calamari, mussels, crab cakes,and ahi tuna with wonton chips. Grouper, fish and chips, salmon, and New York strip were several of the entrees that we ordered. Everyone was happy with their food. Will definitely be back in the future. Can't wait to try their weekend brunch.

A high end feel and price but the value was lacking . The food was good but pricey, everything was an add on, not even any kind of bread offing before meal. I had the Grouper with potato pancake which was very flavorful but a little high on salt. Everyone in our party agreed about their dish too. Strip steak was Cooked correct and a good size cut. The drinks were not a good mix, The sage Margarita tasted like club soda and was strong.

The restaurant is beautiful, but even though is pretty it lacks a cozy ambiance. It feels like a big hall filled with semi circle cubicles to seat in. It felt kind of odd. We ordered the Salmon flatbread along with the Cesar’s Salad. Food presentation was nice and the flavor was ok. Overall experience was fine but not impressed.

Great place for a relaxed date night. Beautiful bar with a great selection of cocktails, craft- domestic drafts and wine. Happy hour specials till 7. The bartenders and wait staff were friendly and very attentive. The grouper entree and scallop appetizer was absolutely delicious! Didn't like the crabcake very much. The beechwood salad was really good too. Save room for the fresh beignets.

So glad we tried this place out. Our Server George was amazing and welcoming. He took his time to explain some of the dishes and gave us so pointers on his favorites. We started with the Chargrilled Spanish Octopus and the Pan Seared Scallops... Both were so good and I would recommend that you try. Just WOW! For dinner we had the Chilean Sea Bass and the Lobster Roll. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth, worth every penny. Come with broccoli risotto, which could use some more flavor. The Lobster Roll come with 2 sandwiches and a side of fries. Personally, I would have preferred it in less bread (just 1 roll) and stuffed better. But other then that tastes good and great serving size. For dessert we had the Pistachio Crème Brulee and it was delicious. Overall very pleased with our experience and we will be returning. Thanks.

We were visiting the area for an event and stopped by this restaurant, seems like they just opened recently. The first impression was inviting and the host welcomed us and sat us in a circular booth. We tried the Caesar salad and salmon flatbread. The food quality was ok.

Hands down THE best brunch spot I have ever been to! The manager Joe was so kind, informative and attentive. The staff was spectacular, as well as the atmosphere! If i could give this place 10 stars I would!! The lobster eggs Benedict was TO DIE FOR! All of the food was fabulous and so plentiful! Thank you! You all rock!

Went there with good friends (they are frequent to this place, this was our first time) We shared the crab cakes, scallops, pork pot stickers, calamari, octopus, and Caesar salad. The crab cakes were the least favorite of the table. Very soft on the cook (no crisp on the outside) and over powered in onion. The bonus.......it's real crab meat. The scallops came on top of a potato cake and red pepper coulis. The scallops themselves had no real seasoning to them, just the butter they were seared in. The potato cake however was freaking delicious! I could eat a plate of just those. The coulis was equally delicious! I can think of many meals I could put that on. The pork pot stickers were fried, not steamed but had the perfect crisp on the bite. The flavor was there but the pork mixture it self was a little dry. The soy sauce mix helps the dryness, so definitely dip them. The calamari had a good hard fry so it stayed crisp. It comes with banana peppers mixed in which helps with seasoning. Gives it a nice zing/zest. The marinara sauce comes warm and is chunky to dip the calamari in. I recommend it. The grilled octopus was fantastic! The hummus and pesto that's it sits on top of is a bit much and in my opinion takes away from the flavor of the octopus. It had a great char and citrus herb flavor. Nice and tender, not dry and chewy like most have experienced (which is why they "don't like" octopus) Lastly......the Caeser salad. It's a plain one (dressing, shredded parmesan, and croutons) when ordered as far as I know, but what made the difference was our server Matt. As we are traditional when it comes to Caesar salad, we asked for the anchovies, shaved parmesan (as well as the shredded), and marinated onions, but held the croutons. He was unsure if it could be done because it hadn't been asked of him before, but he made it happen! I almost forgot desserts! We had the fried banana cheesecake and the beignets. I would never disrespect beignets by ordering the fried dough dusted in powdered sugar they served. Just don't do it. Even the dipping sauces were subpar of their description. The fried banana cheesecake, however, was a nice finish to the meal. Not overly sweet, hot (from the frying), cool and creamy inside, and vanilla bean ice cream on the side. As a side note, I recommend getting Matt as your server. He's very accommodating, personable, attentive, and funny! He made our experience well worth it!

My dinner experience at Beachwood Seafood Kitchen & Bar was a good experience. The service staff were prompt to tend to my needs starting from sitting down through to wrapping up my meal. The interior is airy open and clean. The bar area seemed to be more lively during my early evening visit on a Friday. My Maple Bourbon Punch was a bit on the sweeter side though boozy. Next time I'll try a different drink. My Pan Fried Chilean Sea Bass was moist and tasty. It could do with a little less of cheesy in the napa chard buerre blanc, wild mushroom risotto that this dish comes with. the fish tacos were superb filled with flavor and crispy fish all wrapped in warm taco. I will return to try other items from the lenghty menu and maybe next time my dishes will hit it OUT OF THE PARK to deserve the top ranking.

Delicious entrees and appetizers. The sushi is genuinely the best we’ve ever had. We took our extended family here for a birthday dinner and not a single plate disappointed. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

My friends and I decided to come here for my birthday. It was our first time in and upon seeing the reviews it seemed promising. We were sat in a large round booth up front , the restaurant is very well decorated with a beautiful bar. When we sat down we were handed 4 different menus. A majority of them all had different kinds of happy hours/ sunset happy hour or specials listed. This had become very confusing since the happy hour wasn’t the same as the ones provided on the menu. When we asked the server about the happy hour specials he could never give us a straight answer. The one deal said that house wines were 5 dollars until 7 but he had no clue what the house wines were. He also didn’t know what drinks were included in the regular happy hour. I suppose I understand his confusion due to the amount of menus and deals he supposed to keep track of, but had hoped he would find out from someone for us and didn’t. The food it’s self was over all very good, we had oysters and octopus for apps, and then I really enjoyed my sea bass. I hope that the serving staff becomes a little more knowledgeable of the specials so they can properly assist us when needed. I would try here again but would probably sit at the bar to see if that’s any better.

My daughter and I were there for brunch today and the food was amazing! George took care of us and was very attentive. The champagne bar was an added bonus as you can make your beverage to taste. We got takeout from Beachwood tonight, first time trying it. We were very happy happy with the experience from start to finish. The person who took our order was very friendly and everyone we saw inside the restaurant was helpful and friendly as well. I ordered the bisque and tuna poke appetizer. Husband got the lobster roll. The tuna poke app has tons of flavor, really delicious. Maybe a little heavy on the sauces so next time I might ask that they put the sauce on the side. But we are looking forward to. going back and dining in.

It was a pleasure having George as our waiter. From the beginning to the end, he brought energy, great conversations, and checked on us with great timing. He also thoroughly explained the menu as it was our first experience here. The food presentation was stellar and tasted great! We went for desert as well which was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place, and suggest other waiters to follow Georges’ service mode, so all customers can have an enjoyable experience here.

Food was great, plated well & adult beverage was 8/10. Service was a tad bit lackluster, but we were in a big group. The only thing I would change is they should have regular creme brûlée & ditch the hot cocoa one they have. Thanks guys

First time at this location and came away extremely impressed with the food. Calamari was great, along with the Octupus. Shrimp rolls and Parmesan baked Oysters could have used some improvement. Oysters were way too small and covered with bread crumbs. The sushi and Seafood Cobb were just fantastic. Drinks were good but not great. We most certainly plan on returning because the staff is excellent behind the bar.

My boyfriend and I cannot speak highly enough of this phenomenal restaurant! Run by Ryan, he and his dedicated and professional staff make this truly my new favorite restaurant. Their energy and knowledge of the menu and unending friendliness not to mention generosity has made my two experiences here unforgettable. We will definitely be back on multiple occasions, and highly recommend this outstanding restaurant !!

I went last night with my toddler for the first time and the food was delicious. The waiter was extremely polite and professional. I really appreciated the lady at the front lending me the umbrella and also helping me get back to my car, I had so many things on me: my son, diaper bag, to go boxes, and my purse. I really appreciate the gesture not only was the food great but the customer service was awesome definitely will be going back.

My husband and I visited Saturday night for dinner. We didn't have a reservation but only had a 20-minute wait, so we sat at the bar and ordered two of the best pineapple jalapeño margaritas I've ever had. We talked with the bartender Liz for awhile--she was great. We were then seated in the back room, and after about 30 minutes of not one server glancing in our direction (even though one of them was talking to the table right next to us for about 10 minutes), we got up and left the table. We decided to sit at the bar because we enjoyed talking with Liz. Tim, the other bartender, also talked to us and when he found out what happened at our table, he got the manager Mike. We were not upset because we understand how the restaurant industry is these days, and we enjoyed sitting at the bar so much that we didn't mind going back there to order appetizers and maybe dinner. Even so, Liz, Tim and Mike were all apologetic and personally offended that it happened. The manager paid for our appetizers (he offered to pay for the entire meal, but we told him he didn't have to do that). These 5 stars are for the bartenders who saved the night for us because they were so friendly and fun that it made us not leave the restaurant altogether. The 5 stars are also for the manager who took care of us. And finally, the food was really good, especially the appetizers.

Girl Brunch Day. The atmosphere is great, friendly staff and great menu. I ordered the bubbly bar, that was great!$14. Grilled Oyster $15. they were cooked well, didn't have much flavor and I should have asked for hot sauce. For my meal I ordered Lobster Benedict.$20. Really really disappointed. I love eggs Benedict with all kinds of different styles. There was two little pieces of lobster for each one. Potatoes were cold. I think I would come back and give them one more try and come for dinner and try sushi. Friends ordered shrimp and grits and loved it.

one of the best restaurants in town, it’s very clean loved the way it’s decorated, and the employees are highly trained you can see they know what to do. I had 2 customized drinks and the bartender didn’t mind doing them. The food is a good portion, and really yummy and they have several options that are GF. I’ll always come back

One of my family's favorite restaurants! Food, drinks, staff and atmosphere are all good! They have a brunch I hear is off the charts. I have yet to go there for brunch but it is on my wishlist. Beachwood also has a large seating capacity which makes it easy stop for larger parties. I highly recommend!

Excellent food and cocktails. I went for happy hour to have discounted cocktails and sushi rolls, they made an excellent Old Fashioned and the Spicy Salmon Roll was next level. I also cannot recommend the Seared Scallops enough, they were huge and tasty and served over a delightful potato cake in a lobster cream sauce. Lastly the Key Lime Pie may have been the best I've had before, I was instantly happy they were out of their Hot Chocolate Creme Brulee! Service was okay, a little laid back, but I think they realized I was in no hurry and enjoying myself. Definitely want to go again, there were at least 6 other things I really wanted to try on the menu.

The seafood was good. The special blackened sea bass was very good. The lobster roll was decent, but had too much of the slaw ingredients. Over did the celery. The buns were not that good. Have had better. The crab bisque was ok. Appetizer was good. The key lime pie was too custardy and heavy. Service was prompt and friendly. Liked it but could have been better.

I really want to like this place and it has so much potential... The food is decent, but the service absolutely sucks! I've gone for dinner waited 20 minutes for my order to be taken... I've gone in for lunch, sat at the bar and had the bartender walk back-and-forth in front of me without taking my order. I wish they could get their front of the house together!

First time in this restaurant. Food was delicious. It's a little pricey, but worth it. We had the halibut Piccata and crispy whole snapper. Also the pistachio creme brulee for desert. Will be visiting again when in the area. Theo our waiter was super nice and kept checking on us. A really nice decor restaurant.

The hostess and server were a welcomed treat to the contemporary and relaxed setting. My wife’s avocado toast had tomatoes in the guacamole. So, she had to change the dish. The manager came out and apologized, offering another dish. The service is a little slow, but well worth the wait.

We visited Beechwood Seafood Restaurant in Oldsmar for the second time and we really enjoy dining there. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food is awesome, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is great. Our server tonight was Nick S., he was attentive and friendly. We haven’t yet had the opportunity to sit at the bar area, but it is very inviting. Come on out to Oldsmar and check out this restaurant!

I had met a server at Buffalo wild wings and he said to come into this place. Took me awhile for being busy. But this was hands down the best place to go to. I was not even disappointed. I had never truly treated myself out before and this truly made a remarkable memory.

The service was fantastic! The food was horrendous. It was NYE, so I gave them a pass on the time it took. The server was very attentive and did a great job, unfortunately, the food was subpar. The seabass was overcooked, risotto was flavorless. Prime rib might have been the worst ever. Probably would try one more time, could have been a bad night.

There is so much to love about this place. I frequently eat here. The food selection is great, the taste is fantastic. The wine and cocktail choices are all also great. The service is top notch. But I have to say, every time we come here there is one thing that falls short. It has been over cooked risotto one time, over cooked shrimp lollipops another. The good has outweighed the bad enough that I am still a regular. I know that a higher level is within them because they deliver it on most things. I am just looking for one perfect meal.

Fantastic new seafood restaurant specializing in fresh caught local fish and seafood. Excellent specialty cocktail list along with craft brews and nice wine list. The deserts and appetizers are memorable. The prices are reasonable. Give this one a try, I'm sure you'll be back.

Nephew and I at it again! Dinner at Oldsmar's newest restaurant, Beechwood Seafood Kitchen & Bar.😋 Can't say anything less than totally AWESOME 👍. A Maryland crab cake appetizer (me), nephew had a sushi dish with watermelon, jalapeno, tuna, radish and a creamy dill and jalapeno sauce. My entre was an amazing chicken avocado Caesar salad with fresh shaved parmesan, apple-wood smoked bacon, house croutons and dressing😋. He had the crab+lobster squid ink spaghetti with loads of lump crab meat, blistered heirloom tomatoes, baby asparagus, squid ink pasta, roasted garlic cream sauce and topped with a grilled lobster tail. Crazy 😲 excellent good! Get over there!! Thanks Caroline for the warm welcome and our server Rachael was helpful and on point🤩. Great dinner!!!!!

Beautiful decor. Went for birthday brunch with family. Lovely endless mimosa bar. Friendly waitstaff, and like many businesses the kitchen and waitstaff were currently understaffed. The benefit was long conversations at the table but all the appetizers and entrees came out at the same time and some delicious food was chilling down. Everything was wonderfully prepared, and I'm likely to try them again.

Nice atmosphere. It was very busy so we sat at the bar. The dirty martini was very good. The mussels were delicious but they were served with a crostini type of bread. Personally I thought they should be served with a softer bread to dip into the amazing sauce or give me a spoon to eat it like soup. I tried to ask for a spoon but the bartenders were extremely busy. Raw oysters were good. But I would not recommend the char-grilled oysters or the calamari.

We dined here for the 1st time maybe a month ago now. It was the best experience I've had dining in some time. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. I was torn between two dishes and she was so kind and detailed in her description. Kendra, was so delightful! The quality of Kendra's service made me feel like we were having a fine dining experience. I think she said she normally works at the bar, although she felt like a manger to me, so warm and very professional. I hope she's our server every time we dine here. Thank you so much Kendra! You were so lovely. ❤

Food - 3/5, Ambiance - 5/5, Service - 1/5. Server took 15 mins to bring our water and then take our order. Food came out fairly quick from the kitchen. Water tasted awful but seafood dip was decent, crab cakes were pretty good, but I'm struggling to figure out why you'd put over-cooked scallops on a mushy potato cake. After bringing our food, the server must've decided he wanted to go. We told him that we wanted a to-go dessert, but not until we finished our drinks; he proceeded to immediately bring out the cooked dessert and check. When he came back by 30 seconds later and I hadn't paid yet, he actually asked if we wouldn't mind taking care of the bill so that he could go home. It was 9:20, they close at 10:30. I've never encountered that before.

This place is great but I have only had their bread once!!!! Once!!!! Every time I go there they are “sold out” of bread or it’s a 30 minute wait if I am getting my food to go.(They know nobody is going to wait.) Why can’t this place operate like a regular restaurant? It’s Saturday night…or it’s a holiday…..maybe make more than one loaf of bread for the whole restaurant. Dear Beachwood Grill, you are not Jesus. You can not feed a hundred people with one loaf bread. Please get it together.

Presentation and atmosphere were great. Food all came out over cooked. No value with Oysters. They are extremely small and you're just paying for presentation with a half pound of garlic powder on the plate. If they can figure out how to get their food right this would be a great spot. Doesnt hold any value until then.

One of the best filets I’ve ever had. Service was pretty terrible, though. Side dishes are below average. Burnt carrots & beats were the side dish & I didn’t like it. Got mashed potatoes instead and she charged me for them. Took forever to take order. Calimari & crab cakes heavily reccomended apps.

Seafood pasta was delicious .. lobster roll was very good .. even the coffee was really great .. and our multi-lingual server, JoJo was fantastic -- only drawback: don't order the key lime pie -- you cannot taste lime much less "key" mine .. it's nice to look at but not fork-worthy. We'd go again .. dinner and service were quite good!

We truly enjoyed this restaurant. James took care of us in an awesome manner...professional but warm. My husband and I loved the food...we met the owners; they stopped to chat. I recommend Beachwood wholeheartedly.

WE went here for some sushi, drinks and appetizers...but didn't serve sushi anymore, was told no cook. So our order of filet steak and blackened filet tips in pasta and all was not that good...for a $100 meal. Very disappointing.

We just had our first dinner at Beachwood, and it is now our favorite restaurant in the area. Our waitress Chloe was excellent and so pleasant. The atmosphere was so lovely, we sat in a round booth with views of the bar. Haven't even mentioned the food, which deserves a huge mention! Hands down the best salmon I have ever tasted. My husband ordered an assortment of sushi and said it was the best he's had! Cannot say enough about the food and our experience. Looking forward to heading back soon!

Our waitress was wonderful and made us very comfortable! The other employees were kind as well, and helped me out if I needed anything specific. We went New Years Eve and i called the day beforehand to see if they’d have a specialized menu because we wanted to make sure itd be the same as the other days. The woman on the phone said they had no special menu and it would be the same as usual. Unfortunately, this was not true and when we were seated we received a much smaller menu with heightened prices. We would have loved to know this, and it might be smart in the future to put it on the website for people to know. Mistakes are made which is understandable, and our waitress was lovely in compensating for our brief disappointment. The food was great, and very filling.

Never come here for brunch. My meal never made it to table until everyone was done eating. Shrimp and grits(16.00), 4 small shrimp and 1/2 cup of grits. Over priced, loud and not enough servers. One and done for us. The only nice thing is our server brought piece of cake for my sons birthday.

The shrimp and grits were outstanding! The Crab cakes Benedict were sad imagine a half dollar coin diameter 1/8 inch width disk crab cake.. sitting on a english muffin with a poached egg. It was comical. My advice would be to skip that dish. The bloody mary with the grilled shrimp garnish was wonderful. The service was outstanding! It's a beautiful setting. Very much worth the drive from St. Petersburg.

This was my second time visiting the Beachwood. My first experience was spectacular, so I was a little hesitant that nothing could surpass that first time...happy to say that I was proved wrong. Brunch was wonderful, with endless mimosas and a very tasty Crab Cake Benedict. Staff was very kind and accommodating and I can say with certainty that I'll return for another amazing meal.

We visited Beachwood on a Saturday morning, about 1:30pm. We were greeted promptly at sat in a preferred booth. Alex was our server, although we waited awhile for our food to arrive (I have an antsy 5 year old) the food was delicious. My son ordered French toast with bacon, and fruit as a side. No bacon came with his meal, but he enjoyed every bite. My partner ordered steak and eggs. Came with a side of fruit and roasted potatoes.. he loved his eggs, enjoyed his steak, but wasn’t a fan of the potatoes (this isn’t really his thing ever though). I ordered avocado toast with eggs. It came with an amazing arugula salad on the side. Avocado was given generously, surprisingly. And to top my visit, I enjoyed bottomless mimosas. Over a great experoence! Would totally go again.

I just had an amazing meal at Beachwood, our 1st time there great food ! My husband had the salmon I had the pecan crusted pork , both were hot and delicious. 🥇Best octopus I've ever ate in my life. 🐙 #wow. The FRESHLY MADE crab bisque left me speechless. So much crab 🦀 Totally worth the wait. The lobster roll had a lot of meat and could have been great if they didn't over do it on maybe celery oil? Not sure what that flavor was but it was way too much. Couldn't taste the actual lobster. The creme brulee also had great potential if they put the marshmallows on AFTER it's flamed, otherwise the sugar on top was soft, not caramelized. The service could improve but these two dishes were so amazing it made up for it.

My friend and I just had a wonderful dinner at Beachwood Seafood Kitchen & Bar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our server Chole (although swamped and tending to many customers) was very attentive. The food was excellent! We both had seafood dishes. I had the macadamia encrusted salmon. John had the blackened halibut. The sides were perfect. George, the manager, came by our table several times to make sure that all was good. We appreciated the extra attention. The Carrot cake with cream cheese filling for dessert was yummy; most of it was taken home (it was that big of a slice). We watched as booths and tables were cleaned and sanitized between diners. COVID procedures were followed to the letter. Great environment, excellent food, excellent service.

We love this place. Haven't lived in Tampa Bay area very long, but this is our favorite restaurant so far. I specifically love the huge scallops, seared, crispy white cheddar potato cake, with lobster cream sauce. I also really liked the fried calamari, fish dishes, and various pastas, but I will probably order the scallops every time. Oh, and don't forget one of their exquisite craft cocktails.

I have been waiting to try Beachwood since they opened, but this was our first visit. I was expecting something amazing, given the reviews. This star rating would have been lower, but our server was wonderful and my husband thought his steak was delicious. We were seated in what seemed to be overflow seating, I guess it is what they call "outside" seating, it is indoors and includes a bar which was closed. It seems more like seating at a theme park than a nice restaurant. If they had some cool tropical window treatments, it would be much better. Anyway, we started with the coconut shrimp appetizer. The sauce that came with is was very good...just the right amount of spicy, but the shrimp had too much breading and seemed overcooked, and extremely crunchy. As I mentioned, my husband had the filet which he enjoyed, the green beans were fresh but undercooked and very hard. I ordered the fish and chips, the fish was kind of soggy and it did not come with tarter sauce...which it definitely needed. Dessert was good and they do have a nice wine selection and lots of cool sounding mixed drinks. We may try it again sometime.

I typically don’t do online reviews, even though I follow them closely when selecting a restaurant. We ordered through an online delivery service and the food was extraordinary. Living within about 5 miles of this place, I am so excited about visiting the restaurant itself, having in my opinion, no great fine dining nearby. We had the octopus and the scallop starters and both were excellent, followed by the short rib parpadelle and pecan crusted pork chop. Again, both mouth wateringly tender, with fresh veg and great pasta. Please hang in there during this crazy time, as Oldmar and the surrounding areas need a place like this. I will see you soon!

When the lobster for my lobster roll was accidentally left at the restaurant, it arrived 15 minutes later, with fresh bread and lettuce and apologies. My avocado and cucumber salad was fresh and delicious. I swiped a piece of crunchy, tasty tempura lobster role. The Tuxedo Bomb dessert is unique and unbelievable-definitely something to share or have leftovers.

Two slight critiques; the broccoli risotto had more broccoli than risotto and should be removed from the menu, and the key lime was just not great. Honestly, the food has been some of the best we've had in the area. Overall it is a little pricey. Drinks are high. Food prices are on the high side, but not crazy. Side salad is $4.50, and I'm not a fan of it. Their sister restaurant is the same way, but that salad is delicious. Atmosphere looks awesome, but it's loud in my opinion. Service has been stellar. Room for improvement but the food has been fantastic. Try the octopus, I know, I normally wouldn't either, but try it. Cooked perfectly.

Possibly the BEST seafood restaurant you’ve never heard of. Tucked away just off Hillsborough Ave, you might miss it if you’re not paying attention. I can’t say enough good things about the Beachwood! We ordered calamari and a Sage Margarita to start and both were sensational. The sage margarita is slightly sweet but the aroma of sage gives a pleasant calming effect to tie perfectly with the tequila. Calamari was perfection. For dinner, we ordered the Halibut and the fresh Grouper. Both were incredible. I don’t get all that excited about spinach but the spinach that came with the grouper was so satisfying. Also, the cheddar mashed potatoes is actually breaded with Panko and cooked like a crab cake. So delicious! For an additional side, my wife ordered the spicy tuna roll and I ordered the pinwheel roll. OMG these were epic. The pinwheel is light and refreshing while hitting every button you didn’t know you had. The citrus vinaigrette was a perfect dipping sauce! I might go back to order 20 more. In short, the Beachwood’s sushi is on par with the best sushi places in all of Tampa. We were so full, we ordered dessert to go and we opted for the carrot cake. This carrot cake is life changing. Moist, decadent, HUGE! Every bite we had was perfect. The service was exceptional. Water and cocktails refilled promptly, server checked back consistently during the meal and the owner even stopped by to thank us for coming in. The Beachwood had a rough 2020 with the pandemic but I hope that many others will find this place and become regulars. This was so worth it! If I could give them a 6th star, they’d deserve it!!

As it happens, we had a 9 month old in tow and they were very accommodating, but in the future we'll get a sitter so we can enjoy the experience even more and maybe grab a cocktail or two at the beautiful bar 💁🏼‍♀️ We went around 6pm and by the time we were leaving you could tell it was filling up and a reservation would be a good idea. This place is beautifully decorated, nice team, professional yet friendly and very knowledgeable. We ordered lamb chops, whole snapper, Ceaser salad, French fries, octopus, and a few drinks. One of the best looking restaurants around. When they renovated this place they really went above and beyond with creativity and quality materials. A very large bar that is usually pretty full. I typically prefer to eat at the bar because the bartenders are very professional and they know the menu well.April does a great job . Food is always good and George is always making sure everyone is having a good time and enjoying their food. I haven’t been disappointed yet by a meal and we’ve probably gone there 10 times in the last few months. The octopus was very good although I could’ve went for one more leg. My wife, daughter and I are here for the first time. The service and food has been outstanding (and they've only been open a few days). We started with the meatballs, which were fantastic! The Short Rib Bolognese was well portioned and OH MY GOD good. I had the Chilean Sea Bass over risotto. It melted in our mouths like butter, and the risotto was perfect. Deserts are coming out in a minute. You have to give this place a go. You'll be happy!

It's good. It could be great. I've been 4 times since it opened a few months ago so it's not bad...just a little inconsistent. The atmosphere is fantastic. The place looks great and feels like it should be "the place to be" in Oldsmar. The BEST thing on the menu is the Lobster Roll(s). Ironically, that's also what kept this from being a 5-star review because, during my latest visit, it seems like something had changed. Gone was the noticeable large lumps of delicious lobster and in it's place was a roll with more mayo and almost shredded lobster. Hopefully this was a one off issue that night. Their smoked old fashioned is good but presentation is bizarre and usually spills onto the table. It's DEFINITELY worth a visit and since they own Flamestone, which I love, I'm sure they'll get the kinks worked out. The menu could use a few more vegetarian options.

Last night we visited Beachwood Seafood Kitchen for the forth time in the last seven weeks and I can say that it is one of the very best restaurants in Tampa Bay Area. It is such a well put together establishment with a great feel. The food it was excellent again. The octopus and the scallops are our “go to” appetizers and a couple of different sushi dishes we had last night were just exceptional. The prices are very reasonable and the value is great. We always receive excellent service and as usual Mr Dino Pappas visited our table a couple of times to ensure that everything was satisfactory. We are big fans of this restaurant. A real gem.

Our first visit was no big deal. We waited almost 15 minutes for a server to come to the table. Several apologies for the tardiness but nothing made up for it. Halibut was dry, pasta bolognese was cold so.was the flash fried snapper, fish tacos were nothing to brag about, sushi was ok. Never saw a manager Still a lot of wrinkles to iron out. I only gave it 2 stars because the drinks were good. We won't be rushing back anytime soon. But we returned last night and we were WOWED. The Sunset roll was great. We had the fresh grouper and crab & lobster entrees and both we delicious. Thanks to George, Shawn, Megan, April and Rene for taking care of us last night. Looking forward to our next experience with you all.

We ordered for delivery, I had the swordfish with the black rice, my wife and her father had the Chilean sea bass. All of the selections were prepared perfectly. The Chilean sea bass was light, not too wet, the right amount of flakiness and tasted wonderful. The swordfish melted in my mouth. The black rice carrots mushrooms topping for the swordfish was perfect. The dinner salads (garden and Caesar) we’re also a cut above any others. We never expect presentation to be a big deal when ordering to go, but the attention to detail and presentation was also a pleasant surprise! This was our first experience with Beachwood Grill and we’ll definitely be back.

You can almost call the crab cake Benny keto because it doesn't have an English muffin. It uses a fried green tomato but the food was amazing and definitely try to smoke old fashion

It was our first experience so hopefully they are consistent! We had the beachwood chicken great sauce and flavor. Wasnt crazy about the chicken, it was a little dry and looked very commercialized not organic or ABF. Also had the whole fish which was nice to see on the menu. Presentation was different. Flavor was great. Again fish was a little dry but still recommended to try! The sage margarita was outstanding!

My girlfriend and I went for my 65th birthday celebration, while we found the place charming and well laid out nicely, the items that we chose for dinner left us not quite enthused to return. While I found the macadamia encrusted salmon with string beans and herb mashed, enjoyable. My partner's fish and chips left the New England girl with a bad taste in her mouth. We found fish to be either over breaded or under fried. Either way, she wound up picking the fish out of the breading and discarding the beer batter coating. Upon inspection of said breading, we found it to be thick and mushy. In short, if you get the fish and chips, make sure that they are cooked before allowing the server to leave the table. My salmon was good, jut a bit dryer than I prefer. All the accompanying items, were well prepare.

Beachwood was our first order through Uber eats. I ordered a dish without onion and they tried to contact me to tell me they couldn’t make it that way. They ended up having to send it out anyway because I missed the calls. I could not eat it and called the restaurant. The manager did everything to make it right (even though it wasn’t necessarily their fault). They delivered a new meal free of charge (wouldn’t even accept a tip) and all the food was delicious! I would highly recommend! Delicious food and great service:)

1st time tonight and wasn't impressed.. Got grouper which was very bland and potato pancake was over cooked. Spinach too salty. Had them take my salad off the bill because I wanted light dressing and didn't get that, too much dressing. Oh and $6.00 for bottled water?? Seriously asked me do I want tap water or bottled, kind of left you with no choice. For the cost of the meals you think they could at least supply good water. Oh well.

This was generally a good experience. Our server Tara was absolutely outstanding and gave some of the best service we have ever had. She was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the menu and Ingredients. We wanted for nothing so thank you Tara. The food selections are broad and there is something for everyone. The grilled octupus and seared scallop appetizers were flavorful and delicious. The grouper in citrus beurre Blanc sauce was slightly overcooked but the flavor was amazing. I paid an upcharge for risotto as a side and it was very disappointing. And the broccoli risotto side was flavorless. The filet and lobster were cooked to perfection. But overall the food was great, but they need to ditch the risotto or get some better recipes. We will definitely be back....and ask for Tara!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but there were a couple of things amiss. The food and server were good, nothing exceptional. I wanted to order the Branzino fish but the server told me that the fish was not deboned. I have ordered this fish in the past and it has always been served that way. Something tells me that people have complained in the past about this so why wouldn't they just do it. I instead ordered the Chilian sea bass and enjoyed it very much. My husband had the grouper and we had the scallops for an appetizer (my favorite). They had 3 different Chardonnays by the glass and were out of the one we wanted (Krug). When we got home, my husband noticed that we had been charged for the Krug (2.00 a glass more) than the St Francis that we received. I had a good Mediterranean Mule before dinner that was reasonably priced (9.50) but my husband had a shot of EHTaylor bourbon ($65 retail bottle) that cost a whopping $30! We have been looking for a good Friday night seafood place since City Fish closed. I am not sure if this is it...will probably give them another try since apparently they are still ironing out the "new restaurant" kinks.

George and Olivia (managers) make it a pleasure to be there every time I go in, and from the bartenders to the servers and chef Andrew coming out to talk about new dishes, this surpasses any seafood experience anywhere in the Tampa Bay area, extensively. Even had a filet last night to change it up, and it was spot on. So happy to have Beachwood in my neighborhood. Trust Kylie to make you a creative cocktail - you won’t be disappointed!

From the stunning decor to the cool ambiance, this restaurant has it all. We started with the Octopus, Calamari and Crabcakes. All three are out of this world. For the mains we did Pasta Primavera with shrimp, Grouper and two to die for Sushi rolls. This is the best seafood we have had in a long time. Don't think twice, come today!

The door greeters were warm and friendly. The ambiance alluring and captivating. The interior architecture, well-designed, offering comfortable chairs at both the tables and the bar. Nick Pappas, the owner: cordial, humble and grateful. I chose to sit and have dinner at the bar. The bar seats are high enough but not too high, and very comfortable. The night I went, the place was crowded, most probably at its seating capacity of 280. I thought it would be noisy. It was moderate. Kudos to Nick on the accoustics. I was greeted at the bar by a smiley and friendly Caitlyn. Who proved to be an extraordinary server and bartender. She answered all my questions, and offered opinions and advice when I asked for them. I noticed the bar was set up very efficiently both for the bartenders and the patrons. I ordered a ginger ale which was served to me in a tall, slim glass with a straw. Then Caitlin explained the menu options to me. For my appetizer salad I chose the beet and goat cheese salad. it was layered perfectly with multiple types of greens and lettuce. Thank God no iceberg! The beets were roasted aldente and sliced about an eighth of an inch. Perfectly! And it was garnished with different-colored sweet peppers small in nature. The seasoning was spectacularly selected, because it was tangy with just a little sweetness probably a special made vinaigrette. I love salads and I've never tasted any dressing like it. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give that dressing and salad a 10. For a restaurant that specializes in sushi and seafood, both of which I am not much of a fan, I was amazed at the options for those like me who are not Sushi or Seafood lovers. I chose the short rib Bolognese. The pasta was similar to an egg noodle, but in a spaghetti length. The chef must be a master at making & cooking pasta. I prefer my pasta just a little bit south of aldente. It was perfect! The short rib was tender and more like tender pulled pork. It was blended together with a sauce that was neither bitter nor sweet, not to distract from the flavor of the short rib meat. The presentation was unique. The aroma inviting. The taste, the flavor, took me to another dimension. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this dish a 55. It was that amazing! Do yourself a favor, and take your family do this spectacular restaurant. Call ahead for reservations, because once word gets out about this restaurant, it will be standing room only with lines around the building. Ask for Nick Pappas, and tell him I sent you.

Nicest men's bathroom I have ever seen in Pinellas County besides that you have to give a five-star for its Knights of the Round bar from Robinhood. Only a few would understand what I'm talking about when they sit at this bar.... the only bad thing I would have to say about it is you cannot see the TV's with all the Martini & Wine glasses in its way. I'll be back here again for sure!

My wife and I ate here a week or so after it opened and found the food and service lackluster at best. What a difference a couple of months make. I had a taste for sushi 2 days ago and grabbed a seat at the bar with a friend and ordered the salmon sashimi, eel sashimi and a grilled octopus appetizer. I had low expectations coming in based on my earlier visit there while they were still working through the grand opening blues and the first bite of the octopus blew me away. It was 2 very large tentacles that were perfectly grilled and fork tender. They were on top of an absolute luscious humus and aioli drizzle. Delicious with a capital "D" is what that was. However the STAR of the evening was the salmon and eel sashimi. The eel was perfectly seared, moist sweet, salty and melted in my mouth. On to the salmon sashimi and this is where I was totally blown away. The salmon used was of high quality king or Scottish salmon with streaks of luscious fat running through the 3 generous portions. Once I placed in my mouth Ibecame absolutely speechless . Sheer velvet texture, super fresh flavor and the stuff of legend. I would rate the sashimi as the best I ever tried and I have tried sushi at high end 3 star Michelin restaurants where the $7 portion I had at Beachwood would set me back 4 times as much and the quality at Beechwood was as good if not better. I assumed that the food was too good to be true so I went back the next night with my wife and ordered the same exact thing as the night before. Again the food was prepared to high quality perfection not skipping a beat. I hope to one day move past the sushi and grilled octopus but we'll see....BRAVO TO THE SUSHI CHEF and the entire staff. This place is already a culinary delight

We had dinner at Beachwood Seafood Kitchen and Bar, of Oldsmar on Saturday night. This must be one of the most beautifully designed restaurants in Tampa Bay. You get a great impression about the “Beachwood” as you approach this gem. The interior is stunning. Very welcoming, very airy, with very pleasing color combinations and a great floor plan with a big circular bar in the center of the main dining room. We got the tour by the graceful host Dino Pappas and a spot-on service by a very professional and attentive waiter. They have created a very interesting menu with something for everyone. The menu is big enough with an excellent variety of dishes, it is eclectic without being intimidating and judging from my dinner choices, the Poke Trio and the Octopus, greatly executed. This is our new favorite restaurant and we’ll return soon. Congratulations Pappas family. You hit it out of the park
