Absolutely spectacular! Amazing backdrop of our beautiful Tampa Bay with superb ambiance. Can't say enough about the food, drink, and service we received (even with the Bucs opponents being in town for playoffs and staying at this hotel). Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed!

Great location, great vibe, great staff. I ordered the humble smoked turkey sandwich. It was perfect, not too smokey, bread held up, and the aoli was mild enough to not overpower the turkey. I came here as a hungry traveler, not booked at the hotel. I would definitely eat here again! The staff was very nice.

I'll get the only issue out of the way: inside bar service was off. Stopped there while waiting on rest of group to join. Only one other set of two patrons and it took 12 min to get noticed with two bartenders there. While outside though service was spot on. And the food? FANTASTIC! The vibe is fabulous. Had the mussels and fried avocado. It wowed and I'm pretty critical about both items..... especially mussels. Outside bar was hopping!. Looking forward to a birthday celebration there in a months time!

Stopped in here on a Sunday evening for drinks. We sat briefly inside and then had our second round outside. The bartenders are attentively and friendly. Same options inside and outside, but much larger bar outside with more seating. They have two TVs both inside and outside and will play games but with no sound. The inside bar was pretty quiet. The outside bar is mostly covered with a nice view of Riverwalk and Harbour Island. Nice spot for a drink but can’t speak for the food.

Excellent customer service with opportunity to double protein (did pay an additional fee) on my Cesar Salad. Service was quick and with a customer focus. Food was beyond wonderful with a salad full flavor with grilled protein of chicken and shrimp. Vegetables were fresh and crisp even under hot grilled protein.

Great food, awesome views. Welcoming and attentive staff. Ordered the Shrimp and scallops, it was perfection with an Old Fashion to drink. Ordered the Chocolate praline pie for dessert and it was soooooo good. Recommend trying it when you visit Anchor and Brine.

Delicious, outdoor terrace dining at The Marriott on Water Street. This restaurant is located right in the river walk and has wonderful sunset views. We split the shrimp cocktail, octopus appetizer and a grouper entree. The shrimp ($22 for four pieces) were very fresh, plump and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. The char-grilled octopus ($25) looked better than it tasted: the texture was a bit mushy and the sauce (in my opinion) was too creamy and heavy for a warm summer evening. The grilled grouper entree ($36) was the star dish: the flaky fish was served with a slighty spicy sauce, blistered shishito peppers and accompanied by a sweet corn puree and a mango-meyer lemon pico de gallo. It was a wonderful blend of spicy, creamy, sweet and savory. There was also live entertainment (guitarist) on Saturday evening, which added to the atmosphere. The servers were all top notch and very knowledgeable about the menu.

A great option for vegans. In addition to a delicious Barbaco made from vegan meat with a cauliflower base, there are several other vegan options clearly marked the menu. The service and view from the dog-friendly patio make this a place we will be visiting often!

Between the ambiance, the food, and the staff, they knocked it out of the park. I had the Sirloin Steak dinner and it was brilliantly done, and very tasty. Have the Shrimp Cocktail. They're HUGE and my wife's Oysters were perfect as well.

Great atmosphere and great food. The shrimp and scallops called my name and did not disappoint. If I get to come back, I would try the parpadelle l with seafood, the chicken looked fabulous and heard the burrata was great! Sits on the water so a really nice feel!

This is a lovely waterfront bar at the Tampa Marriott waterside hotel. Beautifully designed and executed, it has a large square shaped bar with seating on all sides, plenty of tables and couches. Very comfortable setting with great views of the waterway, and boats. But, the drinks and food are quite expensive, and the menu could really use a few more items on it, not a lot of choices, but there are a few good items. Also, if you chose to Valet park, it's $20.00 regardless of how long you stay. But, it's still a really nice outdoor bar with great views. Worth checking out.

We went on a weekend evening so it was busy so the service was so so- but totally understandable. It was hoppin'. The view and the environment was really pretty and the food was super yummy. Considering it is a hotel restaurant I was surprised how good it was. The chicken was moist and it came out hot.which is so important to me. I prefer hot food which is difficult on a weekend rush! That's my best friend in the pic but I wanted to show the pretty view. We got a good laugh out of how ugly the bread pudding was (photo included) it was pretty fugly and dry. HOWEVER, it seemed pretty apparent that a man plated it. Lol! Boys really don't get color combinations. It was eaten tho! So there you go! WILL go back!

Brought my girlfriend and her friend here for drink and appetizer before a show. The appetizers were good but the view outside was even better. It happened to rain a little bit but we were fine because we were still undercover outside. The bartender was quick. After you can also walk along the water and check out the boats. Definitely a cool experience and will be back again. Also wanted to mention that it's $30 to valet and if you don't mind walking a block then it's only $2. They have live music inside which was a really cool touch.

Great flavors and presentation. The botanical gin and tonics were worth the visit. Definitely not a visit to do if you have a time constraint, as the wait from the kitchen can be drawn out. Worth the wait, however!

The location and the view are picturesque. Ambience is quite relaxed and wavy. Live music was extremely entertaining. Make a reservation because the wait times are lengthy. There is a 2 hour limit to the tables. The food and the cocktails are pricey. The drink we ordered tasted great though. The hostess was amazing. Service i guess is dependent on who you get. Based on the other reviews that is what we were worried about. Our server at the bar was busy but he made great drinks.

Go or don’t go: Absolutely go!!! A most wonderful spot to meander into along the Tampa Riverwalk (closer to the Florida Aquarium and Amelie Arena end of the Riverwalk). Hot tip: the outside tables usually have a “reserved” sign on them but it’s only so that the host can sit you, it does not mean all the tables are booked! Also, if you want to sit at the covered cabanas closer to the Riverwalk you can call and reserve (the cabanas are great for a drink at Sunset). Great place to people watch. The food is fresh and delicious but the big draw is the great outside sitting area and bar.

Overall I wasn’t impressed at all. To start off with our oysters took almost 40 minutes to come out and they had shell fragments in almost all of them. My snapper was cooked nicely but was unseasoned, not even some salt. The garnishes did little to enhance the flavor, and was overall a bland dish by any standard. The salad was the most flavorful thing we got surprisingly, the arugula was very fresh and was complimented by the dressing nicely . I wouldn’t come back again to be honest, despite the nice presentation and the fish temperature being good. It simply lacked flavor and the special touch that most restaurants at that price point achieve. The service was just ok too.

We stopped here based on a review for the sweet potato brownie with burnt marshmallow ice cream and salted caramel, then got there and found out they weren't offering it anymore. 😟 Based on other reviews, we ordered Ceviche and Oysters on the half shell (see pictures). The ceviche was average, but we both thought the Oysters were delicious - both the clear and red sauces were delicious and the mini Tabasco bottles were cute. The view of the water is great, but the breeze blowing everything off of our table was very frustrating. We were trying to figure out if it was blowing through the hotel or what, but seems it was just swirling...and strong. Amazing from beginning to end. The service was top tier and Laura was absolutely a delight. Exceeded my expectations. When I reserved a cabana I didn’t realize it was going to come with the extra attention to details. Scallops and risotto could have used a touch of a white wine reduction to add a non citrus sour ending. Pairing of the charcuterie cheese board was perfect. Gold flakes on the dessert was a great add!

Highly recommend Anchor and Brine. We took our daughter and her college friends for brunch. The blackened grouper sandwich is a must. Calamari was light, not heavily fried. Burger and Advocado toast was delicious. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views.

The Anchor and Brine is located inside the Water street Marriott with seating inside and outside on the river. The view and venue is outstanding with the beautiful boats coming and going. You can eat there even if you aren’t a guest at the hotel. Parking is expensive, but there is easy walking access from the Tampa Riverwalk. The food was very good, but the menu is limited and it is expensive. Also the service was pretty slow, but it was a week night which may mean they were not fully staffed.

Not sure how this waterside gem escaped my list of get always. Definitely a destination that offers fantastic water views . Not to mention the opportunity to people and puppy watch as life passes you by like a current. Lovely service was provided throughout our journey. You will hear no complaints from me, our courses were served with just the right amount of space as to not feel rushed. Real delicious clean food, don’t feel guilty about treating yourself to a sweet. It’s worth it. Ask for Alexis as she ensured our every desire was met. We can’t wait to return.

Al fresco dining and drinks are dreamy here. Enter through the hotel or from the river walk. Burrata Salad and A&B Bowl with grains, avocado, add shrimp were absolutely delicious. Love it here.

I am reviewing the brunch service we experienced on Sunday, November 13, 2022 for a group of 7 adults. The good: beautiful views, good brunch menu selections that is mostly accurately labeled with GF, DF, Veg, and V options, tasty and well-plated food, and friendly service from Yaritza who was doing her best and kept her composure. The bad: we waited over 20 minutes for just black coffee, waited about 20 minutes for our check, the food runner had no sense of urgency about him, could not recognize menu items by looking at the dish and so could not figure out how to call out an item at the table which was frustrating, the food runner also didn’t know table numbers and took our order to the wrong table, and no manager came by to offer acknowledgment, apologies, or anything at all about the very slow service but was fully aware as she had to be the one to help with our checks. I would go here again for one drink or appetizer as our experience seems to be a management issue with not holding to a standard of quality of service, but I would not go when I’m actually hungry or have anything else to do in my day.

We had a reservation that was made a week in advance..while there was awesome tables open but we were seated at what appeared to be a bar table next to the door and our dinner plates hung over edge of “table” very uncomfortable. Food was spectacular … views were ok::

We had a pleasant experience! We had some drinks and got some oysters. They were a bit small, but they seemed to be fresh and were good. The service was good as well, my wife had a drink she didn't enjoy and they replaced it without issues. The oysters were about $28, a bit pricey for their size, plus drinks and tip we ended at $70, not the best, but not too bad either, we enjoyed our visit overall.

We stay at the Marriott regularly and it's on the property. The menu selection, ingredients used and kitchen execution are top notch! The service is always perfect. They even recognize us and we're hotel guests! The drink menu is vast and delicious. Would definitely recommend even if you aren't staying at the hotel!

Inside the Tampa Marriott Hotel, this outdoor eatery is quite popular. We sampled the burger with a side salad .. and were pleasantly surprised. Gin and tonics are the bartenders' specialty, with a wide variety of gins and tonics. We recommend the Roku with Treeleaf tonic

The Marriott hotel is fantastic. The views are great and sitting right near the channel is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail. The Fresa spritz is refreshing and delicious. Service was a bit slow and one if our drinks, the Floridita was a bit unbalanced. The presentation of drinks was nice. We didn't order any food. The other guests who did order food. It was beautifully plated and looked delicious.

Nice view, right on the water. Was disappointed to find that the red wine in tap was chilled. They close too early. Lots of people were looking for food but the kitchen was closed even earlier. A good place to meet the guy that the SNL character " guy who just bought a boat" was based off.

My wife and I had dinner at your restaurant last night. It is very cozy and comfortable. Nice ambience.Very romantic too!😉 I had the seared scallops which were to die for. Some of the best I've had! Very attractive meal! Beautiful presentation! My wife just had a burger, but even it was better than a typical burger. I think the prices are a little high, but that's ok. The portions are not big, but adequate. Service was very good too! Fast and correct. The only thing I didn't like is that all the drinks, soda and alcohol, are served in plastic cups. I don't get that. Other than that, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a great experience the weekend before the super bowl. I had the AB Burger and it was so good the idea of a picture escaped my mind. My wife had the exotic mushroom flatbread and she felt the same way. The ambiance was great with water and the only reason no 5 star is they seemed understaffed and our waitress took forever to check on us, but she was running her but off and I don't think it was her fault. All in all it was a great experience and we will go back, for sure.

I expected better service. We attempted to eat there three times during our stay. Once we never got seated. One hostess was not very responsive. Customer service was not consistent. Otherwise, the food was excellent although a bit spendy.

Amazing flavors! Excellent food and excellent service! Wonderful views of the water. The snapper entree was delicious, the ceviche app was fresh and the steak with oxtail was so flavorful. The violet drink is the best one! Our dogs loved the patio and fresh ice water. Can't wait to go back.

Food was great. Staff was terrible. Had to grab my own beer and wine from the service bar. Mind you the bartender with only 2 guests just watched them heat up in the sun instead of running the drinks.

Octopus app was amazing. You could tell the chef really was skilled and it showed in the dish. Unfortunatly the inside dinning area was right in the middle of the hotel lobby with everyone walking by. We ended up sitting at the inside bar since it was a florida winter outside. The staff was amazing and attentive and maybe if we could of enjoyed their large outside space it would of been better. If the restaurant had a separate space a more diverse menu it would 4 star.

Great views and nice staff. We got some daiquiris and appetizers and sat by the water, watched the boats and enjoyed the atmosphere. Also a great place to sit with you coffee in the morning before the bar is open.

We loved this restaurant. It was very convenient as we stayed in the Marriot which is on the same property. Food was delicious. Service was little slow as they were short staffed. But all in all the staff that did take care of us really were very charming.

We went to Anchor & Brine on Sunday morning with a reservation at 10:30am. Greeted at the hostess stand and had a reservation for 2, had to make a last minute change to 4 because our friends decided to go with us, very accommodating with no issues at check in. The food was fabulous, hot, great presentation, and tasted great!! Compliments to the CHEF!!! Our waitress was Meriah, she was absolutely AWESOME!!! This place is really doing a great job with Covid Safety issues. All the waiting staff is wearing gloves, masks, disposable menus, disposable cups, etc. The music on the patio was wonderful, relaxing, and great atmosphere on the marina. So if you are looking for a great place for brunch, get outside, enjoy your day at this great place!! Support your local people, and businessses, and have an AWESOME Day!!!

This is an amazing place to sit outside either at the bar or tables and chairs.you are right on the water .all the servers are awesome. Also the food and beverage manager helps out for any and all her staff.the food and beverage manager makes sure everyone is taken care of .the best food!!!

We really like this place it was relaxing to sit outside under the heaters because it was kind of cold that night however it is a beautiful location right on the Riverwalk. Really good strong drinks. Very good seafood. Parking was easy across the street.

So peaceful and beautiful, bring your bike, skateboard or motorized toy. You can take a run or walk and Can ride the river taxi or rent a cruise, restaurants along riverwalk and plenty of entertaining. Make sure you wear your mask cause people are not conscious of social distancing.

We’ve eaten at Anchor and Brine numerous times. Service and food are always great. Our favourite lunch menu item is the panzanella (burrata, watermelon and arugula salad). It’s a lovely location, with a beautiful view and best of all, it’s pet friendly, with complimentary water bowls!
