Reviews of Polite Society Restaurant and Bar

First time at this establishment! Classic Eggs Benedict was perfect and the cook did not get anything wrong! Good vibes this morning. Wait staff perfectly behaved and Lisa R. was friendly pleasant and accommodating. Service was prompt and professional. Not too rushed as I was there just after they opened for brunch (9 am Sundays). I am certain that this establishment gets very busy! I will have to rate them during such time that I return either by myself or with company. I will definitely return!

Had a great brunch experience here! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. I ordered a pretty basic Belgian waffle but did sample around the table and the Chorizo Avocado Benedict and Brunch Monster (pictured) were both delicious. Unlimited mimosas were def a factor in picking this place, and they DID not disappoint. Although there is a hour and thirty minute limit, they pour a great mix that isn't too heavy on the OJ🤗. Food and mimosas were on point and the atmosphere was cute and quaint. I would definitely visit again if I am in St. Louis and recommend anyone to give it a try if looking for a brunch spot with unlimited mimosas!😜

First time at Polite Society for brunch and it did not disappoint! Chicken & waffles were the absolute best I've ever tasted & the cherry on tip was the Thai chili maple syrup, OMG! Shrimp & grits were spectacular and I'm not a fan of grits in general, but these were lucky the bowl clean delicious!!
I've also gone fur Dinner and the spinach dip was soon good, as well as a wonderful burger, so delicious. My cocktail, the Michigander, was a joy to sip. If you like bourbon, don't sleep on that one!

We are so full and so happy! The food was amazing. Everything looked good so my husband and I got 4 appetizers, drinks, and dessert. I don't have anything negative to say, because the dining experience overall was great. Eric the waiter was professional, the ambience was classy, the tables were socially distanced, and we loved how accommodating everyone was. We intend to return.

We were visiting St. Louis on a business trip and we always like to find local eateries to enjoy when we travel.
Polite Society was an excellent experience!!! Reservations are recommended!! It's a cozy and intimate atmosphere, which does make it loud but it is cozy. The food was incredible, every crumb! You could tell the chef put a lot of heart and thought into his flavors and menus. There were also gluten-free options on the menu, which was one of our reasons for choosing them. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend dinner at Polite Society!

An absolutely AMAZING experience! This was my first time at Polite Society but definitely not the last! The staff was so attentive and friendly! The menu (which is seasonal by the way;a MAJOR plus for me) had a nice range of appetisers, drinks and entrees that I think most people would find pleasing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but still a little upscale. Everything we had was cooked perfectly, and plated beautifully! I can't wait to go back!

In the heart of Lafayette Square, lies this gem. Built in one of the historic row homes, the restaurant has 2 floors. The service was excellent and the food/drinks were top tier.
With it being our first time, we tried several items on the menu...devil eggs, shrimp and grits, steak, udon noodles, duck, etc...
The vibe is very chill, easy to have conversation, and the lighting is low...almost intimate-like. It's perfect for a date night. I'd recommend checking them out. Unfortunately, I can't give 5 stars due to a hair being found in the food. They apologized perfusely and made it right for us.
I'm sure it was a one off, because everything else was perfect!

Nice vibe with very friendly staff. The food was just okay to me. Shrimp and grits: the shrimps were perfectly cooked but the taco flavor/seasoning did not work. Arancini: great texture but the sauce has a very strange and unique flavor. Asparagus salad: the asparagus were almost perfect but I couldn't taste the yuzu in the vinaigrette because the rice vinegar was so overpowering. I usually really like pickled radishes (with jajangmyeon, kimbap, etc.) but it did not work in this salad.

This is by far one of my favorite brunch spots in St Louis. It's easy to make a reservation (and recommended, because this place is popular). They serve the best french toast, it's filling, it's flavorful, and the portion size is very generous. The drinks are great, from the mimosas to the coffee. The service is also very good here, very helpful and friendly staff.

My boyfriend brought me to have dinner here for the first time and we had a great experience. The food was great and I love how intimate the ambiance here. We’ll most likely to come back.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. He must have told them that when he made the reservation because both the hostess and our waitress immediately wished us happy anniversary. We decided to go all out and get cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. Nothing disappointed. I tried a Strawberry Manilow for my first gin cocktail. It was good, but after a while, I was tasting the balsamic more than anything, so I didn’t think I could do two. It did pair pretty well with the arancini. Our other appetizer was the blistered shishito peppers. Also very good, although these two were strange together as the Italian arancini was much sweeter than the Asian-inspired peppers. My husband enjoyed two sanguines for his cocktail.
For entrees, I had the udon noodles with crispy tofu. It was my first time having tofu. Although I liked the crisp of it, it was flavorless when eaten on its own, but it was great (as was the rest of the dish) when eaten with the sauce, vegetables and noodles. Noodles were a nice thickness, cooked perfectly. I also thought the dish had a nice spice level—tasty but not painful! And it paired very well with my second gin cocktail, the Thai Fighter. I think this one was my favorite.
My husband had the pork osso bucco. I cannot only tell you it looked like an impressive dish, but of course I tried it, and I can vouch that it was also delicious. Pork was so tender, it kept breaking in pieces as I tried to stab it with my fork, and the scoop of polenta I also stole was creamy and flavorful. We finished the evening with a glass each of sparkling wine, complements of the restaurant for our anniversary. Class act, and top-notch service to boot. Thanks for helping us celebrate 25 years!

Very cute place! The pei mussels were perfectly savory. The shrimp and grits had a salsa-like sauce on it that didn’t quite blend well in my opinion, but still yummy. The acoustics of the building does amplify everyone’s voice so it was a bit noisy inside but overall a great experience.
Chris Schendel
What a fun and unique restaurant. Beautiful design and decor, incredible bar offerings, and fantastic food. Parking right outside the door, super clean area. Reasonably priced dinner for two.

Perfect brunch for New Year's Day 10/10 !I am so glad this was my first meal of the year! Merarri took great care of us and was a breath of fresh air to our new year. The breakfast potatoes were PHENOMENAL, & the chicken and waffles were TO DIE FOR ❤️ the setting is quiet, intimate & cozy. Love love loved it here!

We had an outstanding meal but the appetizer was a little sneaky. For our meal we had the pork shank on polenta. It was fall off the bone tender. The server told us when we arrived they had a special appetizer of Wagyu beef, 6 small pieces. We ordered that but found it tough, chewy and likely flank steak. They charged $21 for that and I felt taken by that so I'll be cautious if I go back.

We had a splendid warm experience with the staff and food!
Craig, the bartender had the most welcoming smile, he was very helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations, not only with the mixology but also with his love of great food. We came from out of town to savior the delicious seasonal plates they had to offer.
I ordered the panko seared walleye fish, it was mouth watering and left my taste bud wanting more! I can't wait to come back.
Craig is the GOAT!

This may have been the best prepared salmon I’ve tasted. Every pairing of flavors was thoughtful and made it not just another delicious meal, but a culinary experience. Bravo
The Elevator and Airplane Finder
I came for brunch today and our experience was excellent! The food was outstanding and the chicken and waffles was one of the best I’ve had! I definitely recommend this place!
Ronnie Spencer
Great food and service every time. Last time I sat upstairs which was less disability friendly than optimal but was not an issue for our particular party. I always get the charcuterie board and it’s great! The people who own this also own several of the great restaurants at the foundry.
Katrina Buys
Lovely atmosphere, excellent food, very polite service 😉 A bit pricey, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t like a dark restaurant experience as it was very dimly lit (an older couple sitting near me were having trouble reading the menu) but I quite liked the ambiance personally!
Gentle John
Have eaten there twice with other people. The other people always enjoyed the food. Read the menu before you go. For me the menu is somewhat limited. I should have ordered the hamburger. My Polite sundae for dessert was fantastic as was the whiskey sour. Look at the menu before you go.
lellieu
Delicious and freshly made food. All dishes we had were superb (Ragu with homemade pasta yum) and the sundae to top it all off, was the best ever.
Daniela Boles
Nice ambiance, good service, not really creative with the coffee or teas but waiter was willing to make some happen( we just wanted an irish coffee) . Food was good but not outstanding it misses the little extra touch that makes it special. We had the breakfast burrito and it was okay and the hash -that was more of a stew pressed in a form. But all was of good quality and we will come back.
Milton Kendrick III
Great brunch, large portion sizes! Lovely and ample French toast and berries. Tasty breakfast potatoes.
Lisa was a wonderful waitress, should've sat with us. Lbs.
Opportunity: Bottomless mimosas, ok, but didn't really taste much orange juice or champagne...?
Brandon Lannom
A truly delightful dining experience. I visited Polite Society for our work holiday dinner and loved it. Our server was Lisa and she was fantastic at offering menu advice. Our group had broccolini, deviled eggs, mussels, bone marrow, and shrimp and grits for appetizers (yes we ordered that much and regretted nothing)! The broccolini was the star of the show- a must try. For dinner I let Lisa pick for me and she chose the Pork Osso Bucco (pictured). It was so filling and I was happy with her recommendation. For dessert I had the Polite Sundae (also pictured) and wowowow the salted carmel was dreamy and delicious. We had a variety of wines and cocktails, specifically the Glow Worm. I love tequila and the mezcal was a great post app pre entree cocktail. I’m very much so looking forward to going back!! The ambiance was very relaxing and everyone working was happy and pleasant to talk with.

Hellooo!! Visiting from miami beach we wanted to visit one square brewery (see review).
After a beer and a snack we walked around the neighborhood and found polite society.
We sat at the bar for a few drinks. We had kir royal and a local beer. Two small appetizers, frito misto and shrimp and grits!! Both very tasty.
For digestif drinks we had fernet letherbee and leopold.
Thanks austin for a great service. My man you did not get your full tip. U charged me ten dollars less. (If theres any way he can get his tip please let me know below. Tks)
See yall soon!!

My husband and I decided to visit all the St. Louis City area restaurants with a Sunday (or Saturday) brunch. Our first pick was Polite Society. It was a fantastic choice. Brunch was delicious and the best breakfast I've ever had. I had the Chorizo Avocado Benedict; DH had the Shrimp & Grits. Both were fresh and light tasting, but very flavorful without being overpowering in the heat. Service was perfect and wait staff friendly and helpful. DH and I will be returning here as often as we can. It's worth the hour drive for us.
Johanna Wayland-Smith
Who do I have to call/email/bribe for this avocado toast sauce recipe?!?! Because wow it was next level. My fiancé and I had a table full of food but this toast was the shining star (with several close seconds). Loved the house made bloody margs (regret not getting the death wish). Would go to St Louis just for this toast.

We visited for brunch on a very busy Saturday without reservations and were seated promptly. 3 adults 2 kids! The food was delicious but the coffee was the best all three of us ever had (we've traveled all over the world) Absolutely friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere in a cozy chic type of style. Can't wait to come back on my next visit in St Louis 🤗
Valerie
We went for brunch, and were seated upstairs so it took awhile to get our drinks but our server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Also had a couple bites of the cheesy grits that tasted super rich and buttery.
adam W
1st visit and wouldn't return. $40 ribeye was 85% fat and probably ate 10% of it. Burger was the way to go, my wife shared with me.

We spent our 5th anniversary on a Friday night at Polite Society, upon many recommendations! Walked around Lafayette Park for an hour before a reservation at 7:15, and the whole evening was great. We shared the three cheese artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was the highlight of the meal. As our waitress said, "We realized spinach artichoke dinner is even better when there's no spinach."
My wife had the Bistro Streak and I had the Pork Osso Busco for our entrees. Hers was a more tame but delicious option, as the steak and brussel sprouts were solid. My pork shank was a bit more adventurous, as the uniquely flavored, fall-off-the-bone meat mixed well with the goat cheese polenta. They provided us complimentary champagne, which was kind, and the 1 cocktail we ordered was unique and beautiful-looking. We didn't love it, but we are also not big cocktail people, and just wanted to order 1 for our anniversary. All in all, Polite Society offered high-end food at reasonable prices for the quality/quantity and great ambience for couples or friend groups. Definitely plan to spend an evening here and around Lafayette square at some point!
Scott Gassaway
Great atmosphere. Had the steak which was delicious. Everyone raved about the brussel sprouts (I'm not a fan in general).
The fries were soggy, only disappointment. Friendly bartender. Suggest making reservations as walk-ins are only seated in the bar area.
The Nylee Experience
Went to brunch to Polite Society for the first time with my partner Saturday January 21st, 2023 and ordered the shrimp and grits and a waffle for myself. The bottomless mimosas are definitely worth it along with the ambiance, however i got food poisoning from the shrimp and grits. Not sure if the shrimp had been sitting out for a while prior to cooking or what but the nonstop vomiting and diarrhea was not the way I wanted to spend the remainder of my Saturday. Unfortunate due to this being the first and last time eating here for brunch.

I can't wait to return! The food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, expertly paired, prepared, and plated. I have now had their pork osso bucco twice (pictured), but everything else I've tried has been great as well. Same can be said about their cocktails.
An excellent choice for date night, a celebratory dinner, or for that time when you just want to treat yourself.
Jasmine Howard
Polite Society has been one of my ultimate treats for myself. It’s a bit expensive but so so worth the price. When I’m having a horrible day, I’ll get (same every time) their tofu udon noodle dish. It is seriously magical. Today I had a really rough day and was hoping to get some, and I’m sad to find out they took off what I’d argue was their best creation. I truly hope it comes back (or they’ll share the recipe so I can enjoy the process of making it too). Thank you for all that you do PS.
Alexander Alatsis
Great breakfast sandwich and breakfast potatoes! Perfectly poached egg on the Eggs Benedict

Must have caught them on an off night. After much excitement of reading the menu and painstakingly making our selections it was such a let down to find out as we were placing orders that the ribeye was out (all of us wanted to try it).Waitress should have told us upon arrival. French onion was different.... actually a nice twist on a classic. Wine was enjoyable. Im not sure what happened with the sides but definitely not what was expected. VERY greasy and overdone. Waitress didnt acknowledge that sides werent touched . Based on other reviews Id say we'd comeback and try something else. Enjoyed ambiance.

I have been to Polite Society twice for brunch, and both times I have ordered the pancakes. While they were served with a blueberry and blackberry compote the first time, this time they were served with seasonal berries. Both were very good. While they were not the best pancakes that I have ever eaten, they are easily the biggest pancakes that I have ever seen. They are a drier pancake and not too sweet. They are very good, and the berries complement then nicely. I will gladly go back here for brunch to order them again. I must say the service at this restaurant is fantastic. The waitress was very attentive when it came to refilling my coffee and water, and the entrees were delivered quickly. I was also here for a dinner event, and the apps were excellent. Highly recommended! However, I don't see the pancakes on the menu anymore, and this is very sad!
Dalton Fox
Cute date spot and great service, food is good but a little expensive compared to other quality options in the area. The decor could use some additions. However, going upstairs for brunch is a fun experience.
Steve Backer
Awesome atmosphere, good service, good food. We got the shrimp and grits, duck, and pumpkin ravioli, enjoyed it but weren't blown away. For a nearly $100 meal w/ tip, I'm not sure we'll go back.
Richard Krajewski
Excellent all round. Love the atmosphere and the food. Service was prompt and attentive. Not what you'd call budget, but you really do get what you pay for here.
Dan King
Delicious food! Went here with my wife for our anniversary, and aside from a delicious meal they spoiled us with champagne and dessert. Well definitely be back.
Sara Klobucar
Great service, extensive and creative cocktails. Only slight criticism is the purée and accoutrements with the salmon were under seasoned. The salmon itself was perfect!
Phillip P.
Coffee is good. Grits are great. Burger of the patty melt was a little dry and bland. Pickles are delicious. Sausage links really good—spicy and juicy. Home fries are crispy and salty. Motown on the radio. Rustic and warm interior setting in a lively neighbourhood.
Xavier Robinson
Brunch was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. It's up there with one of the best brunches in town
Robyn Sekula
There are only 2 reasons I'm not giving this restaurant 5 stars: it is LOUD, as restaurants without any kind of carpet or soft surfaces often are; and one dish I ordered was just a little off.
First, the good. The service was absolutely stellar. We walked in without a reservation and were very casually dressed and were treated like rock stars. The service was perfectly attentive without hovering, and the dishes were delivered at just the right times.
I liked the way the restaurant was decorated, and very much appreciated that they were willing to accommodate us ordering a bunch of small dishes to share. The Brussels sprout were good enough that I found myself studying them a bit to see if I could replicate them at home. The deviled eggs were good but not the best I've ever had. The shrimp and grits were disappointing, particularly because with the heads on, they became a bit difficult to manage and looked a bit unappetizing. My opinion may be skewed because I was just in Memphis and had shrimp and grits that I loved.
But the dessert. THE DESSERT. OMG. They serve a chocolate pretzel bread pudding that is so dang delicious and inventive it's ridiculous. I loved, loved, loved it.
We only left because as the restaurant filled up, we couldn't have a conversation. It is just how many restaurants are these days.
I would happily go back!
Beryl Chau
Good service. Food is good despite I sent my duck back - it was well done when I asked for medium rare and then it came back as rare. Our waitress took it off from the bill. Great gesture. Dessert can be plated better. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed

A hidden gem in Lafayette Square. We visited Polite Society during their 1-year anniversary celebration. The chef’s menu + wine pairing was exquisite (photos 2-5). We’ve also enjoyed Polite Society’s various appetizers and cocktails. The shrimp & grits is one of our favorites! PS is often busy, so it’s best to arrive early, place a reservation, or be prepared to wait for their scrumptious offerings!

Very good restaurant located in a very historic building . We made reservations thru their website and it worked out well .
Service was excellent as well . Always has drinks and dishes were cleared right away .
We had the tempura portabello for an appetizer . The poblano coulis was fantastic . My wife and I both found the portabello to be slightly greasy .
The entrees were the salmon and pork osso bucco both were very good .
Was kind of disappointing that there wasnt a chef special for the night also .

The food was delicious! Everytime we went, it was perfection. Especially the food quality and presentation. I am definitely going back for Brunch in the near future. In the picture we have, French Toast with Berries and Butter whipped, Biscuit and Gravy, and a Egg Benedict with potatoes/fries. The drinks we had was Tea and Orange Juice.
Rutha L
Went for my girls' brunch and was not disappointed at all. The food was fantastic and the service was on point. I'm going to have to try dinner now. And oh, the portions were amazing as well as the price!
Lori A
The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken and waffles was probably the best chicken and waffles I've ever had! I can't wait for the next time when I'm able to come in again!
Kelli Samson
Lamb sausage risotto, wonderful! Korean fried chicken, amazing, I want to put that slaw/salad on everything!!! Chocolate espresso cheesecake, surprising and delightful! Cocktails and service were also great. Definitely recommend.

I ate here at the Polite Society on Sunday 9/15 for brunch for my birthday. Located in Lafayette Square which is beautiful area located in South St. Louis City. The food was amazing. OMG! I had the shrimp and grits as well as the eggs benedict. They gave big portions and I couldn't eat it all, but I stuffed myself. Haha! The name Polite Society is not an actual club or society as I originally thought. It's named this because everyone is so polite...a society (staff) of politeness. And all the staff were amazing. They greeted us at the door and checked on us throughout. This is how service should be done everywhere. The ambiance of the establishment was very nice and cozy. They even had a few book cases with awesome books that you can read while waiting. Keep in mind that you can make reservations, but we didn't know and had none. We were still seared within minutes thanks to a party leaving. This place was very crowded and I would definitely suggest reservations for my trip because I will be returning! The parking on Park Avenue is not great during peak times as they only have so many parking meters. We parked on the cross street Mississippi in front of some beautiful mansion houses. We had no issue and it was free. After brunch we went to the adjacent Lafayette Park to walk the food off. We were stuffed. This is definitely a place I have to return to.

This is definitely a must visit restaurant! My husband and I visited for my birthday and it was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! I had their salmon while my husband had their mahi mahi special and the food was to die for/ mouth watering delicious! The server we had was also incredibly nice and polite (pun intended.) It was also a huge plus as my husband has a dairy allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure all of his food was dairy free. The only problem I have is that it’s not closer to where we live in Oregon so we can go there all the time!
Alex Chambers
I thought the Osso Buco hash lacked a bit of flavor but the cheddar grits were very good. Really nice atmosphere
Lynn Rinker
Just go! Such an awesome restaurant. The building itself is gorgeous. The decor is complimentary to the space. The service is wonderful, as is the food. I've only been a few times, but I was so impressed.
Kessashun Arthur
Based only off of the weekend brunch, this place is incredible! The atmosphere is very classy and homey; the service is beyond friendly. They serve some rather creative versions of your classic breakfast dishes, and switch up the menu every so often. You can expect well-prepared food with lots of flavors, textures, and beautiful presentation. I'd highly reccomend the biscuits and gravy or osso bucco hash if you get the chance to. You really get elevated meals for very reasonable prices, and I'm sure dinner service has just as high quality. I've eaten countless brunches in St. Louis and Polite Society is definitely amongst the best!
Heather Walker
Everything was excellent! The rosé, house wine and cocktail were all great! The mussels were delicious! We also had the bistro steak and the pork osso bucco. Both were amazing!
Arlene Wesley
My husband and I just had our anniversary dinner here, it was our first time visiting. It was so cozy and relaxed, the atmosphere was great. We enjoyed ourselves. I was very satisfied with the food and drinks! Our server Eric was extremely awesome! He made sure we were good during our visit. I definitely will be visiting again and would recommend this spot!
Stephanie
Really great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. Their drinks were really great too!
Maria Sabbia
True to their name, the restaurant staff was extremely polite. They were able to squeeze us in a reservation on a busy Friday night and everyone was very kind when greeting us. The food was rich and flavorful. The wine selection was exquisite. They also have a decent selection of gluten free options. The neighborhood is adorable if you have time to explore. Highly recommend if you’re in St. Louis!
Jenn Generator
This place was very neat and eclectic! I love the vibe. I was there for a company party, so I cannot speak to the normal service, but I did not see an unhappy customer in the house.
Anya V
The cocktails were too sweet and too much ice. Mussels and the salad were pretty good. Salmon and the udon noodles were just too much; too many flavors mixed together that created no specific flavor. The staff doesn't seem that interested in being there; just young staff. Overall, not worth the price. Nice place to go if you just want a glass of wine.
Becca Francis
This place has super hearty dishes! The deviled eggs were freaking awesome! As was the cheesy pasta.
They have a lovely interior which is warm and inviting but it was very loud when we went on a Thursday night. If we go back, I'd want to go on a less popular night, I hate having to shout over dinner.
Danielle C.
Everything was delicious. Service was good. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly . Will definitdly be back to try brunch
Jada Peten
Service was phenomenal and so were the drinks and the food!! Also had the artichoke dip and I think that’s the best artichoke dip I’ve ever had, no joke! Will definitely be coming back ☺️☺️
Maria Kasminsky
Everything here seems to be out of the ordinary, but everything here is also super high quality. Great if you're looking to try something new in a cool environment! Highly recommend the honey lavender cake. I'm not a big cake fan, but this was outstanding!
Aaron S
Staff, ambiance, and cocktails on point, food disappointing. Started off with a couple appetizers, deviled eggs and tempura mushrooms. Eggs were good with some nice texture adds like trout roe, mushrooms were bogged down by the oil they were fried in though the pepper dipping sauce was good. I had the "Hoposite" and "Re-beat" for drinks, both with bright fruit flavors with a peppery punch to liven them up. For the main entrees we had the steak with brussel sprouts and fries and the Korean fried chicken. Steak was overcooked, asked for medium and only the very center had some pink. Accompanying sauce was bland with only a hint of wine reduction. Fries and brussel sprouts were massacred with salt and mustard respectively, though cooked well. The Korean fried chicken was the biggest disappointment with the chicken being neither fried nor particularly Korean in flavor. The chicken meat was dry and seemed baked, not fried. The sauce had very few Korean flavors, some gochujiang hints but no sesame, soy, pickled radish... I've had some amazing Korean fried chicken, but this fell well short of the mark. Finished out with the triple chocolate cake which was decadent and delicious, the ganache just light enough to keep the richness from becoming overwhelming. Will come back to give the menu another chance but first impressions of the food are underwhelming.
Chris Naffziger
Solid New American food that has maintained its quality through the pandemic with its excellent food creatively served. The pork ossobucco and duck breast are my fa favorite. Attentive service.
Shawnda Vaulx
Great atmosphere! The energy was so amazing!! Austin was the best bartender ever! He made sure i was able to have the best experience for my first time.. The food was mind blowing.. i had the "Polite Monster" .. was the biggest sandwich i had ever seen. It was so delish!! Def have a snack for later!! I most definitely going back.. Check it out..
Nicholas Porter
If I could give it 10 starts I would. The food was absolutely amazing and our server chris was knowledgeable from the food to the whiskey list. If you are traveling this is a must stop spot for brunch.
Mark Zeman
I went here for breakfast when they opened at the suggestion of a friend, and I wasn't disappointed. They offer an extensive, eclectic menu, the ingredients are fresh, the meal was well prepared and flavorful, and the service was good. A little upscale/ pricy, so it may not be for routine dining.
Clare Lynd-Porter
The place itself is wonderful. The food is good, but I would not say great. Be careful with the specialty drinks. The tastes are unusual and I did not like mine. Very sour.
Ryan Schmidt
Awesome food and staff was super friendly with suggestions. Also liked how they didn't try to rush us and let us relax and enjoy the evening. Great Manhattan too!
Bobby Nguyen
Food and service was good but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Worth a try!
Victoria Choi
We came here for lunch and the service was great but I was disappointed by the mushroom tagliatelle entree I ordered. I felt it could have been flavored better, there wasnt really any sauce and flavor wise was underwhelming. My husband liked his croque madame crepe, it was a very large portion and the creamy sauce balanced the salty ham well. Overall I'd like to come back for their brunch and dinner menus because it is a charming yet hip environment with good service.
Julius Caluya
If you are craving brunch a must visit. Thumbs up
Chris Sotraidis
This place rocks! We walked down for brunch on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised. The brunch is definitely as good as the lunch and dinner options, and the portion sizes left all of us stuffed and happy. Everyone was pleased with what we got. Expect a half hour wait for brunch on the weekends if you come in after 11am. Our waitress was attentive, super nice, and very accommodating. The eggs benedict was out of this world! Good mimosas, too.
Matt Smith
Delicious and carefully prepared and executed dishes and craft cocktails. Extensive wine list by the bottle with limited options by the glass. Efficient and friendly service.
Brittany Ashworth
Service & food was excellent. The shrimp & Grits were AMAZING. Definitely recommend this place.
Lena Marvin
It's so good! Amazing food, and fun light fixtures. Whipped ricotta toast was both savory and sweet.

It was good; I can't say it was exceptional. I feel like the value for sides far out does the value of the mains. The $4 side with 6 pieces of bacon was better than the $15 hash dish.
New Identity
Great food and amazing service! The meal I ordered was a little bland but my friends' food was incredible. Plan to visit again to get those stars up.
Vincent Scalera
The service is great. The menu seems intimidating if your palette isn't up to snuff but don't be afraid to ask questions. They definitely know what they're doing.
Ivy Koelliker
Great restaurant in STL. Nice local, seasonal options and good cocktails. Very nice restaurant space. The staff was really. I've and well-informed too.
Sangwon Jeong
We loved their hospitality to start with. During our last visit, we failed to reserve a seat for brunch early on, but the manager kindly let us take a no-show's reservation. Their brunch was great too, we especially enjoyed their waffle as a side & dessert. Finally, I personally loved their burrito - it reminded me of the burritos my mother often made for breakfast when I was in high school. I cannot ask for those burritos often as I have moved overseas.

The first I went for brunch I didn’t know you had to make reservations before hand. It was my cousin and I and when we walked in we were greeted by the host he ask for my name. I was like I didn’t know we had to make reservations 🥴. He said “ there are 2 seats at the bar go grab them, hurry girl”. My cousin and I walked to them seats so fast. The bartender was our server of course, he was great. The atmosphere was nice and the food was so good. I had the chicken and waffles and Eggs Benedict. I was hungry y’all don’t judge. But 10/10 both times, I love this place.

Great service, beautiful ambiance, delicious food. The salmon could use a little more flavor/seasoning but overall it was great.
Jayson Slobodzian
Wonderful atmosphere and food. Very "homey" feeling inside. Great spot for date night. I would highly recommend the mushroom ravioli, the pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The salmon tasted good, but could tell it wasn't fresh. Definitely get the artichoke dip as an appetizer!

My sisters(sistas)& I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere & decor was smooth, quaint &calm. Our server where attentive & friendly... but, the food OMGns, The food was "seductively" delicious! It was portioned adequately and seasoned to perfection! ...Only reason I didn't give 5 ☆, we were seated, where it was too dark to see our menus properly...Next stop...PS brunch!
Jamie Wagoner
Best food I've had in St. Louis. I ordered the scallops and they were cooked to perfection despite how large they were. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. High quality ingredients prepared by a highly talented staff. The only down side is that the service isn't up to the standards of the food. Waitstaff rarely checked on us and we ran out of water several times. I would have ordered more drinks, too, had I gotten the opportunity. I guess that saved me money lol.
Anita Keith
The shrimp and grits with soft eggs were amazing. Whenever I’m back in St. Louis I will definitely stop in to enjoy this tasty meal…

This place is so beautiful and worth every penny! My wife and I had a great time. We will be coming back again next time we visited from Memphis.

An interesting menu item caught our eye, so we trekked from downtown to check it out: chorizo Benedict. It was delicious albeit a somewhat meager portion. We don't eat carbs, so they gave us a couple slices of tomatoes in lieu of the biscuit and potatoes, but we were still hungry after the meal. Definitely could have used more meat and maybe sauteed spinach. The restaurant was lovely and very busy - make reservations! We we're lucky to grab 2 seats at the bar. Afterward we walked around the area and the park. Beautiful neighborhood. We took a Lyft back to our hotel near the ball park, but had to wait quite a while.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in St. Louis. I have never had a disappointing meal here. The atmosphere and service are on point but more importantly, the food and drinks are fantastic. I love that the drink and food menu change and I always get to try something new. The flavor combinations are always something unique and something you couldn’t find at any ole place. This place is awesome and if you haven’t been here for dinner you are missing out.
brian bernard
Wow! This place was AMAZING... Really cozy and neat atmosphere. Really friendly bartender and food was AWESOME! this steak was cooked medium perfectly as well!
Matt Funderburk
Great brunch, and decor. Chicken and waffles were killer. They also serve a mean mimosa.
Rebecca Pierce
Excellent food and service! Because it was our anniversary, we were treated with a glass of champagne. Would highly recommend this restaurant. .

I got the avocado toast, bloody maria, and the eggs benedict with potatoes.
First off, our server was amazing and attentive, when we got there it was a small crowd of people, but as the place got busier and busier the service never lacked.
The avocado toast was seriously bland, just avocados with nothing added to it, some garlic paste on bread with bland radishes and a garnish that looked pretty, but all in all 1/5
The bloody maria was good but potent, I had a giant stick of celery, a slice of lemon and an olive, it tasted like a pre-made mix with tequila. Nothing spectacular 3/5
The eggs benedict was phenomenal, however I couldn't wrap my head around why they gave you the same bland avocado from the toast in a tin cup ? I thought I was going to get actual slices of an avocado, with some kind of seasoning. Also the potatoes were a great addition but another thing, they gave me a bunch of in-edible crunchy burnt bits that you would find at the bottom of a fryer. Maybe they need to do some quality control in the kitchen ? 4/5
Teresa Quinn
Most delicious mussel dish. Bonus, they're happy hour offerings are generous enough to allow me more cocktails than normal. Didn't even know it was happy hour.
Christina Moss
First time at this establishment. Server was very friendly. I ordered a charcuterie board and the salmon with a moscule mule. I don't recall the type of cheese that was served in the board but it was delightful! Simoly delightful. It's obvious that they take great care in sourcing their cheeses. The salmon cooked according to my specifications which is always mush appreciated that that level of detail is experienced. Overall I would visit again.
Daniel Erlinger
Just checked out the opening of Polite Society. Excellent food and environment. We really enjoyed the wine selection and staff knowledge of the menu. I have to recommend the mussel appetizer. I've been to Belgium to sample the moules frites there and the broth at polite society blows that away.
Eboni T
Inviting atmosphere, vintage decor, Food was delicious, service was quick and pleasant. Will come back again.
Madelyn Boyne
Always a pleasure. A great spot for special meals (I celebrated my golden birthday here) or a fabulous brunch. Their specialty drinks are delicious and the menu offers interesting, upscale but accessible takes on favorites as well as unexpected options of the chef's own creation.
Maria Woolfolk
The food is sooooo good and the scenery inside the restaurant is good too. The set up is very nice
Kimber Sorensonbrugh
This is a lovely restaurant with amazing Industrial interior. Great metal ceiling, and just overall amazing emphasis on the historic building. The Orso bucco over polenta with goat cheese was recommended by the server, and it was as tender as promised. The 2 cheese tray appetizer paired well with their dry rose, and I regret not having room for dessert, but I was pretty tempted! Very attentive servers. Great place for singles or groups.
Bernie Dippolito
Great cocktail menu, excellent service. We had dinner here and honestly we loved so much stuff off the appetizer menu that we just ate a bunch of appetizers. Food was delicious, the server was awesome, and the drinks were great.
Anne Miller
Chicken and waffles are currently in the lead of my top 10! The panko and the syrup are very special. The chicken was juicy, tender and very flavorful. You, absolutely will not find anything like this anywhere else in StL!
My husband had the breakfast burrito and it was wonderful as well. Overstuffed with breakfast goodness!
Both dishes were more than enough to share or as we did, bring home for breakfast the next day!
Danielle Butler
Customer service wasn't great. Drinks were good. Nice historic area.
Rachael Britt-McGraw
Charming decor, great service and delicious food.
William Brown
Absolutely delicious Schnitzel and OMG, you have to try the Bananas Foster Waffle. Staff is excellent and we were even greeted by the chef. Great atmosphere!!!
Drew Helton
Some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Sausage links also great. Neat atmosphere and didn't have to wait long for Sunday brunch
Jason DeFrain
I found a new favorite date night location. The atmosphere, presentation and flavor are perfect.
DrRenee King
Service was great, food was very bland but nothing a little salt could fix. The kids really loved the burrito but next time will get it easy on the beans. Waffle tasted like a delicious funnel cake, Shrimp was well seasoned but overall that dish was just ok. Overall experience was really good.
Katie Franke
Amazing food with tons of great gluten free options!! We had gluten free tempura portobellos as an appetizer, and they were amazing!!! We're definitely coming back here!!
STACY D
Brunch was awesome and I'll be back. Bottomless mimosas need I say more. 😊
Riley Goodwin
Nice restaurant Just trying to survive in this horrible year. Food i had was super greasy i was ill for 2 days. I ordered the veggie burger and fries. and It was soaked in oil. My partners salmon was very good. service was really slow but we were in no hurry any way and just wanted a nice evening out. I am going back but will make a healthier selection for my special dietary needs. drinks were GREAT! Super cool bartender

MUSHROOM RAVIOLI IS STRAIGHT 🔥
This was the best meal I've had in a long thing. Deviled eggs to start, then the ravioli and salmon plates for the mains. I wish the skin was crispy, but not a big deal. All the flavors work great with each other and the cocktails were equally great. I look forward to going back. Great service and atmosphere.
Kershee J
Love the interior and fries. Nice American brunch place!
Lori S
Great experience, plan on taking your time and ordering from each part of the menu. Its even better if you go with someone who likes to trade bites- that way you can experience more of thier wonderful menu. Really fantastic!
Donald Frailey
Got the shaksuka and the bloody Maria. They were ok.
Came at the suggestion of a friend.
Interior was nice.
Natalie McManus
Loved it. Good vibe, fun decor. Friendly, helpful waitress. Interesting cocktails and menu. Everything was delicious. We got the cheese board, pork osso buco, coriander duck breast, and the triple chocolate cake. OMG the triple chocolate cake...
Allison Demes O'Brien
I stopped by for brunch on a whim while visiting from out of town. I enjoyed it so much that I came back for dinner. I found the food delicious, the staff friendly and the atmosphere great. I dined solo both times and loved it. I will be back whenever I'm in town again!
Jeremy Randolph (PandaPally)
A fantastic bar and restaurant! The service was wonderful, the staff witty and polite, and the food was devine! The braised Bison on their menu was like butter. The vegan coconut fudge ice cream was decadent and delicious. We will definitely be dining here again!
Andrew Richards
It's been better. At brunch eggs Benedict were lukewarm and turkey sausage was overdone and dry. Do not recommend seating on the second floor. With all the other projects wonder if the flagship had been put on auto pilot.
Jason Lee
Food was amazing. Had the shrimp and grits for the first time and it was tasty all the way through. The bathrooms were extremely clean and secluded. I know thats usually not a highlight of a restaurant, but the high level of privacy was unexpected. Overall, my first experience was amazing.
Jonathan Agoot
A co-worker recommended I visit. Tried out the Chorizo Eggs Benedict with Avocado and was very impressed!
Steven Michael Carr
Went here for brunch. The staff was polite and attentive. The bar looked really cool. Both dishes we had, the hash and the benedict, needed salt, but we're otherwise tasty.
A M (MajesticLOZneko)
We had made a reservation for 3, and aside from being promptly seated at our designated time, all of the staff was polite and professional!! The food was spectacular - French toast, the jimmy burger, and chicken on waffles!! Highly recommend all 3!!
Chris Schappe
Food is outstanding, the ambiance and decor is super cool. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. A definite place for brunch!!
Hattie Hayes
Tasteful eclectic decor, great tasting food, awesome friendly service, professional staff, fast service. The eclectic design vs elegant decor design is the only reason for a 4 star vs 5 star. Highly recommended.
Eric Bueno
Service and atmosphere was great. Food and cocktails were very good. Dessert could have been better, Creme brulee custard was good but brulee got soggy and chewy. Olive oil cake had good flavor but texture was dry and crumbly. Overall a good experience
Izadora Dombrowski
I ended up here with a friend after another popular brunch spot in Midtown had us waiting (which is fine) but the gentleman taking care of waiting customers was unnecessarily rude. We gave up and said "Polite Society... Hmm let's go".
1) Polite indeed. What a change from Location 1. Service was impeccable and staff was just sweet as can be. I wish I could remember the server's name (he has a fork and knife tattoo) because he was so kind and takes "Bottomless Mimosa" seriously... I never once saw the bottom of my glass. He was welcoming, warm, and engaged. Even had a lovely chat with my friend and me, even though I'm sure we were annoying after our mimosas (sorry, mate!)
2) The establishment. Very cute space and socially distanced. The decor was splendid and it felt cosy but not homely. It managed to also be just posh enough to not be pretentious. Very clean, as were the bathrooms. Especially in COVID times, I could tell, and appreciate, that extra care was taken to keep the place tidy and hygienic
3) The food was beyond delicious. My friend had the chicken and waffles. She said the chicken reminded her of schnitzel that she ate when she lived in Germany. The sauce was to her liking as well, with a slight kick. Even though its not traditional chicken and waffles, she raved about it. I had the eggs benedict with avocado and chorizo and I wish I could eat it daily. I'm wary of brunch spots- often they try too hard to recreate the brunch wheel and end up snobby. Not here. The take on a brunch classic was absolutely delightful. The portion was beautifully served and the balance of flavour hit the spot perfectly. Big big kudos to the chef for a unique, actually fresh take on a seen-before concept.
Overall, easy 5/5 stars. I'm a simple girl but I sure love to eat and Polite Society made our meal so enjoyable. I can't wait to go back.
Adam Henrichs
Incredible creative menu, atmosphere, and service at a very reasonable price. Visiting from Denver, we were shocked at the amount of amazing food we got for what we paid. We will definitely be returning.
camila calderon
Delicious locally owned restaurant in Lafayette Square. If you're visiting st louis like me, definitely add this to your list of places to try. A very quaint, beautifully decorated place with an amazing bar seating area. Their food is unique and unparalleled taste. I had the mushroom ravioli and loved every single bite. The staff is super courteous. 👌
Vivien
Osso bucco crush with poach eggs I had here was pretty good. The demi-glaze sauce is from the can but it’s combined well.
Bill
The food and environment are warming. It's very telling that much is spent behind the scenes to make Polite Society a special place.
Dan F.
This is a very nice place to go for an intimate Sunday brunch. The food is outstanding the service is great and the atmosphere is spot on. You feel like you stepped into an old drawing room with a nice mixture of vintage and modern books and artwork. Everything on the menu is excellent but I especially enjoyed the chicken and waffles.
Mary W
Fantastic restaurant experience! The atmosphere & decor are very cozy and our server was wonderful. The roasted carrot appetizer is incredible, even non-carrot lovers will like it. Both the salmon & the mussels were superb. Can't wait to come back!!
Mike
Amazing celiac, allergy, and accommodating staff with a relaxed but uplifting atmosphere. Halibut was amazingly cooked, glistening like an opal in the center and tiger orange on the sear. Their salmon was tiger orange on the inside and a perfect cook in the mid. Can not say enough good things about the food, and the FOH staff was equally amazing. I showed up early for my reservation and the chef, staff, and table were already ready 20 minutes early. Best service I have in town. -Chef Mike

I rarely give 5 stars but the Polite Society earned every star available! Our first time dining at this gem and will recommend it to everyone. We had the shrimp cheese grits appetizer (not pictured) and that was the start to an amazing combination of perfectly combined flavors, textures, colors, and everything else that makes a dining experience wonderful. I can't say enough about how good everything was. Each dish had a unique combination of flavors that changed depending on what collection you put into your mouth. The trout was cooked just right and everything came out at the right temperature. Our server was appropriately personable, welcomed us and had a bit of a smug smile at first like he knew something we didn't. Well he did! He knew it was our first time in the restaurant, asked what brought us in and we said our anniversary. He knew we were in for a very nice dining experience. The service matched the entire experience - no detail was spared. After our main course was done our server placed two spoons on the table and said, "I have something special for you, I'll be right back". He returned with the complimentary anniversary desert (pictured) - soft bitter sweet chocolate swirled on a dinner plate topped with thinly baked wafers with a subtlety sweet whipped mouse filling/topping. It was delicious!

Great food! All around a pleasant experience!

Went here with my wife. Walked in and was greeted by everyone.I noticed the social distancing from the start. We felt very comfortable and at ease. After we got seated next to the windows we noticed the character of the restaurant. Very clean and decorated nicely with the mellow to upbeat music in background. Our server was very knowledgeable of the drink list and menu. I just can't say enough about our service. The food was delicious and the drinks were top notch. Her recommendations were spot on. We will for sure be back . Thanks

#nofilterpicture Simply amazing. Asparagus and prosciutto salad had all the right levels of herbaciousnees and creaminess and texture. Party of 4 with some peculiar tastes and everybody loved the menu from the cheese board to the bison, risotto was absolutely amazing and cooked inside of 40minutes WITH THE RIGHT TEXTURE!!! Ramsay would have been happy eating here.
Chris was an amazing server, knowledgeable about the dishes and their tastes, and accommodating (within reason of course) with feeding a celiac person. Not getting sick and tasting this good was a welcome surprise on the week.
Ainara Farina
Great atmosphere and good food. Good portions as well 🙂 …
Kermit Constantine
Delicious, charming and top notch service. Try the chicken and waffle offering. You won’t be disappointed.
Mr. Hamburger
The place has a limited menu, but it was very tasty man!
For an appetizer we got cornbread dude, you know, something different. This wasn’t any typical corn bread man, it was amazing!
The burger was excellent man. The fries were the type that somebody cut in the back, and not some crinkle cut nonsense.
I totally dig it man
Dawn Huse
I had one of the best food experience ever at this place. We started with the mussels. Amazing. Then the heirloom tomato salad. Awesome. For entree's we had the salmon and the korean fried chicken. I couldn't have been more pleased........and Sharon's dessert, the triple chocolate cake, put me over the edge. Superb, is all i can say. The staff was also amazing, our server was Eric. Good job, Polite Society :) Thank you
Kelsey Lee Evans
My friend and I had brunch here for the first time yesterday before catching a show at The Fox. We will absolutely be back. The ambiance was charming and quaint. The food was delicious - I had the hash with the braised pork and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. The bottomless mimosas are a must. Shout out to our server, Josh, who made sure our glasses were never empty. We're already planning our next outing to Polite Society.
Rachel Prost
We moved to St. Louis from Chicago and have been looking for places that are similar to our old favorites and this definitely hits the mark! Amazing food and cocktails. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back many times. We ordered a bunch of appetizers just to get a feel for the place and the mussels and Bacon and Egg were my favorites!
David Moon
First visit - experiences may differ on other days. Items ordered:
Mimosa - nice and dry.
Avocado Toast on wheat bread
- was served on white bread without explanation, initially not toasted. Recieved a re-do but the avocado was not seasoned making the overall dish quite bland.
Chicken and Waffle
-Chicken was nicely breaded in Panko but overcooked. Waffle was great, syrup was quite mild and difficult to taste the Korean spices.
Alex Jensen
What an amazing meal! The place is really pretty and much bigger than it looks like from the outside. The wine suggested by the waiter was very good. We decided to order 4 appetizers and they were all very tasty. As a whole the experience was great from the beginning to the end.
Tyler Doyle
One of the best happy hours in town. SUPER underrated brunch spot. Never had a dish here I didn’t like.
Dexterity with a handful of cuisines is on full display here. So is great produce. As someone generally allergic to small plates, I’m always satisfied when I leave, and while it’s not the cheapest place to eat in St. Louis, the level of service and the excellent food justify the cost.
Unstuffy. Great bartenders (and bar). Wall of hot sauce.
Come and get it!
Ryley Thompson
Went here with the Wife Unit and another couple for drinks and dinner. Cozy place. Very friendly staff.
Our drinks we're great. The have some pretty creative house drinks. I also ordered a favorite of mine (paper plane) and they did a great job with it.
Everyone greatly enjoyed dinner. The small menu basically hits all tastes. We followed dinner with some lemon tarts. Excellent!
We'll be going back.
Jenna Zimbelman
Great atmosphere, cocktails & food! Enjoyed our dinner here for our quick 1 night stay in St. Louis. Service was great as well. Would definitely come back if in the area.
Rachel Johns
We dined here last night to celebrate our two month wedding anniversary. Eric was such a great server and the chicken wings and sauces are the best in the city hands down. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of our entrees. I had the lamb sausage risotto and Julian chose the salmon. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. Plenty leftover for me to take to work for lunch tomorrow. They also surprised us with a complimentary champagne toast at the end.
Rafael Torres
Great ambience, service and the food was superb! I had the black cod with 2 scallops and it was delicious. The bar is fully stocked (bourbon for me) and plenty of local beers and wines. The noise level was not overwhelming so we were to talk to each other without yelling. I’m not from the area so it was recommended by a local friend. An enjoyable evening.
Angela Pearson
Perfect place for a cute date night, good food and good wine!
Carly D
Our server Katie A was soo wonderful. She was such a nice girl and was very knowledgeable about all the wine & menu. A group of four of us had a great time and we all loved our entrees. I had the scallops.. delicious! The bartender really knows how to make a fabulous old fashioned, he made me a custom drink to fit my meal! I am so happy and I wish I lived here to come in here more often.
Michael McManus
One of our favorite spots to eat, it's hard to pick a favorite dish, everything we've eaten here has been perfect. The one thing that we consistently order are there meat and cheese boards. They always have interesting fun selections and some really good tasting condiments to have with them.
Yuri Lozano
Amazing food and customer service! Highly recommended!
John Nussbaum
Great vibe and great drinks. Only complaint is the bacon isn't thick sliced but that hasn't stopped me from being a regular at brunch. :)
Nancy Gelb
all the entrees were unique and very tasty. Good service. It's noisy and hard to hold a conversation across the table but many places are like that. I'd give it 5 stars.
Juanita Wallace
My daughter and I had brunch at Polite Society today 9/12/20. The food was amazing and the service was great. However, my daughter asked the same waitress who had been assigned to our table, who also had been pleasant and warm prior to the delivery of the bill, for a to go container for her guacamole. The waitress returned to our table and literally tossed the container on the table as if she was throwing a bone to a dog. NOT COOL.
The name of the restaurant is Polite Society. The attitude of all the staff should consistently coincide with just that - being POLITE.
Nicole Landwehr
Incredible food and even better service! Always a wonderful experience at Polite Society.
K R
Without a doubt the best meal I've ever had in my life. The mussels were perfect. The salad was delicious. The salmon was absolutely perfect. The triple chocolate cake put me to sleep after the experience. Major food coma. Extremely comprehensive wine selection.
Miranda Bergman
AMAZING food. We shared 4 appetizers between 4 friends, & everything was an absolute tie for best food we have ever had. The list for wine bottles was impressive. Definitely coming back
Zeena U
Atmosphere is lovely, second floor is quieter, beautiful and music that complements the vibe.
We ordered chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and chorizo avocado eggs Benedict and all meals were superb! Coffee is smooth and bottomless mimosa was a good deal. Highly recommend this place, will return for another brunch!
John Lawrence
The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. The restaurant seems exclusive from the outside, yet intimate and romantic on the inside. The wine list and specialty cocktail selections were outstanding. The Thai Fighter was our favorite cocktail. The food was superb. The chicken duet had great flavor, was both beautiful and unique. The plate presentation was flawless. The portabello tempura was outstanding and our favorite dish. The prices are steep, but worth every penny. We can't wait to return!
Vieuxgarçon DuBois
Great food and service. The Korean fried chicken was filling and (being sensitive to spicy foods) not overly "hot". Chelsea (the bartender) was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
If you've never been, you're missing out on one of the best places St. Louis has to offer.
Steven Tuhy
Great new upscale restaurant in our local neighborhood, Lafayette Square. The cocktails are creative and have a variety of different flavors. All of the food tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly. Our group of four split a few of the ‘bites’ and appetizers; the deviled eggs have a nice kick to them. I had the Coriander Duck Breast entrée, which had a delightful spiced flavor. However, there is a large price gap between the appetizers and entrees, yet the quantity of food you get with the entrees does not match the increase in price. The duck dinner only came with five pieces of sweet potato gnocchi; I was expecting a little more than that. I loved the food, I just think the ‘price to quantity’ ratio of the entrees does not match that of the appetizers. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience, with attentive service and tasty food. I definitely plan to return for the upcoming brunch and lunch options, as well as to try more items from the menu!
Andrea Murphy
They sat us down immediately and served us the best brunch. I had the epic breakfast burrito and hot black coffee. I'm probably not going to eat dinner tonight 🤰 …
Jessica Dixon
Our server, Kelsey was super attentive. The food was both beautiful and delicious!! The atmosphere is classy and low key comfortable. We are so glad to have checked this spot out!!
Colin Edwin
Nice little joint in Lafayette Square. Phenomenal burger, tasty wings, excellent cocktails... what more can I say? I had the steak and it came with a bearnaise type sauce on the side, I sensed truffle oil although it may have been on the fries. The couple with us also had the burger and his fiance had the risotto.... everyone ended up in the clean plate club. Service was great, facilities were clean. The wife and I will likely frequent this place. It was great!
Mandy McCray
The food here was phenomenal. The grits were so creamy. I’ve never had grits so good. I’d definitely eat here for brunch again.
Kara Smith
Bottomless mimosas on the weekend until 1pm. Avocado toast is good too but a little oily. Super friendly servers! Overall a nice brunch spot.
Susie Wurth
I had dined at Polite Society on previous occasions, but now found myself there yesterday for their lunch. The menu had a wide variety of foods--from healthy to comfort. What impressed me was how they 'tweaked' everyday foods to add their own unique and innovative tastes. While there was no Gluten Free bread available, they took their Turkey Salad Sandwich and offered it up with lettuce on a plate for me. I spent most of the meal trying to identify the flavor I was tasting in the salad! (I think it was fennel!!) All in all, wonderful service, delicious well presented food. A win-win for anyone looking for a good lunch.
Robert Cole
This is the borderline fine dining experience that we need in St Louis. The food is fantastic, the drinks are great, the service is Michelin Petit bib gourmand level at least. The chicken and waffles is standout. And it's not so loud that you can't talk. The chairs are comfortable. We need more places like this.
Meredith B
Don't like having to download Yelp to confirm our reservation. Lovely decor. Menu is brief and frou-frou. There were exactly 2 things i would eat. Gave it 4 stars only bc my dining companions seemed to enjoy it, plus they saw on the reservation that we were coming in bc it was my friend's bday, and they suprised us with a shareable dessert. I only ate half my meal (i was full) and the server didn't ask me if i wanted it to take home -i stopped her when she tried to take my plate and she was suprised but quickly recovered.
Kimberly Hellyar
The staff was nice and attentive but the restaurant itself had the air of trying too hard to be cool. The food was expensive for what it was and not that spectacular. I had an impossible burger. This is a new type of veggie burger that is supposed to closely mimic real meat. They made into a tasteless patty melt. The fries that came with it were pretty good.
Ruth Erdei
Made a reservation for 4 through open table (highly recommend) after being put on hold for 7 minutes with no return to the line to assist. The location and food looked incredible and so I convinced my husband to go along with our two friends. Our waiter was pretty cool and super knowledgeable. He even went as far to make sure my friend received a dairy free dinner because her sensitivity. When our food came out, my steak was over done but still tender. I felt it lacked seasoning. The fries were incredibly salty and could not finish them. The brussel sprouts were also way too salty but once you peel off a layer, we’re better. Our waiter did not come to ask how our food was after we tried the food. This should absolutely happen for exceptional service. My husband ordered the Korean fried chicken which turns out isn’t actually fried. The flavors were good, just a little bit surprising to notice it wasn’t fried. He’s had Korean fried chicken in Korea and wasn’t expecting it to be the same but when it came out not fried, it was surprising. The cocktails we ordered were good and neat! The reason for the 3 star is simply because the food was not up to the expectations set and not fitting with the price. I feel the chefs here care to impress and most definitely want to improve and so I’m leaving this honest feedback for this reason. Key take aways- too salty of fries and brussel sprouts, if the title says fried chicken then it should be fried. The price should reflect the quality. -I will leave you with the chocolate cake we had for dessert was spectaculary divine. Also they currently have a vegan ice cream option and this is quite rare to find in a restaurant! Good dessert menu.
Alex
Visited this place last week. Food was flavorful and tasty, service was considerate. We got wings, clams, salmon and bison. I personally enjoyed bison short ribs a lot, definitely coming back to try other items out 👍 …
Joe Sherrill
It has a nice ambiance. The food is fabulous and the drinks are a fair price also. Worth the wait.
Maggie Cuba
Went here for brunch twice recently. Had the same great server both times; she was relatable and attentive. We like to get 2 or 3 different dishes and share— shrimp and grits, pork belly dish, chicken & waffles— all really good. I also love that they offer a house bloody mary or zing zang. Generous beer list. Cool environment, great drink selection, great food, done.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos (this time) of my experience, here. However, I can tell you that for a first time experience, the food was GREAT! I had some very tasty pancakes and scrambled eggs. If you've never been there, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
david cervantes
service was super nice and accommodating despite it being full, we sat at the bar. breakfast burrito was awesome, the bloody mary on point.

Wonderful little spot, loved the cocktails, my new favorite in St Louis

The restaurant seems to cater to a younger crowd. It was nice and clean. The drinks were good. The waiter was trying to get me to order my steak medium rare, because its a tough piece of meat. Well we settled on medium, and it was okay. I prefer my steak medium well. The brussel sprouts were seared to death and the fries were very undesirable. The ceasar salad was good minus the croutons. The food was disappointing for the cost. Will not return to the establishment.
Emily Morrison
We were there for our anniversary dinner. It felt safe and clean. The food was great, fresh, cooked perfectly, service was good. Had we been at a cozier table in the back or had a server who had a little more personality, it could have been that much better!
Ash DePung
I'm not sure how I missed giving this place a review, yet still posted photos. This place is AMAZING. The food was out of this world. The cocktails were different, so I needed to ask the waiter about them and he was very helpful. I loved my drink, sweet yet herby, I can't remember what I got though. Me and my date split the ice cream(gelato?) desert. The pistacio ice cream(gelato?) by far was the best and has inspired me to find a dup.
Robert Crowe
Another terrific dinner. A mountain of tempura battered portobello mushroom slices with a tamarind dipping sauce. Perfectly prepared duck breast with a variety of vegetables that varied in flavor and texture. Moderate size wine list but high quality and reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Katie Westfall
We went on a Friday night while there was still limited indoor seating and they were able to seat us right away. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The other workers were attentive as well. It's a beautiful area and place inside. We left with happy bellies.
Joshua Williams
This place is almost magical. Everything is perfect about it, from, most importantly, the food, to the decor, to the staff. This trip was just for dessert, but it was just as special as coming in for a full meal. Vegetarian-friendliness: remarkable. Always a good selection of meat-free apps and entrees.
mvigor
The gluten free tempura and sauce was the best thing my wife and I had ever eaten our entire lives. Excellent food and service. Thank you.
Michelle Kunin
Great food. I recommend a dinner made of several of the appetizers. Good service. Only downside was it got very busy which=noisy. By the end our our meal we couldn't hear one another very well. I don't know if they frequently get a lot of larger groups or if it was an odd night. I'd definitely return.

I had the best 29th birthday brunch here and it was amazing. The pancakes are MASSIVE, so if you have at least 3 people sharing, that would lighten the load if you want something other than pancakes. The French toast and the fruit that came with was absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find good fruit this time in the fall season. The sausage and gravy were amazing. Amazing gravy, amazing biscuits with thyme flavor. The eggs Benedict that my husband and a couple friends ordered was plated so well!!! Don’t get me started on the breakfast potatoes. They were amazingly flavored and without ketchup were GREAT but with ketchup also amazing. But tasted phenomenal alone. I had the chicken and waffle. Omg. Yes. Yes. Yes! Everything about it. The Bloody Mary and bottomless mimosas were without fail. Enough bubbly for everyone. What a great way to turn 29 with friends and my Fuji Polaroid camera. There were about 10 of us, and everyone was satisfied with their meals and very happy. Thank you for amazing service and everyone said they are DEFINITELY coming back!!!!!! :))) oh and my friend ordered grits, she said she was obsessed. I scooped some up and she was indeed correct. The flavor was amazing and I’m not much of a grit eater.
John Busel
Great food, gluten free options, wonderfully paired
Keisha Holt
This restaurant was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was awesome. The service was wonderful. The food and drinks were so great. I went for Sunday brunch and loved it so much. I can not wait to return.
Akilah D
I ordered a cocktail and the shrimp and grits. The cocktail was perfect; excellent flavor and great presentation. The shrimp and grits were small in portion but big in flavor. The use of sofrito was a nice touch. I'll be back.
Patrick Rebadow
Very comfortable and unique setting with wonderful service and spectacular food. Date night with the wife here was well worth the time and money. So glad we found this restaurant. Thank you!
Christy Allen
Lunch was a delight and so was my server (who's name I can't remember) this is why I shouldn't leave my drafts unfinished for more than 24 hours.
I digress, located in the beautiful Lafayette Sq. Neighborhood, Polite Society fits right in. Upon entry you'll be swept away by the gorgeous well-stocked bar. Making your way through the dining areas the exposed brick, filament lighting & rustic design are quite captivating. Lots of character here making it a great date night, lunch meeting spot.
The food was plentiful & delicious as well. I enjoyed the mushrooms (although heavily battered) I simply peeled away the crust and devoured the core of my meal. Their beet salad was a great pairing item.
Loved lunch but can't wait to return for an evening happy hour outing.
Dan Moynihan
get a reservation for brunch! it is truly worth the wait... this place is a true gem... please do not go here! i want to be able to get a table when i want!
Jason LaBarbera
The service from Eric was amazing and the food and drinks were spot on perfect. Try the arancini!
Nick Rodriguez
Was here on a trip from Chicago for a friend's birthday. This restaurant had a great rustic vibe to it. Plenty of delicious shareable plates and a wide variety of wine. The Pork Osso Bucco was incredible and the highlight of the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Saundra Smith
Great spot in Lafayette Square. Wonderful cocktails and knowledgeable wait staff. Went with a small group of friends, seating was great. Small plates and entree were served in good time the food was delicious. Will be going back!
J. Martinez
Great brunch! Had the chorizo & avocado eggs benedict and my girlfriend had the french toast. Both were excellent and the coffee was good too! Our wait for four people was supposed to be 45 min, but they ended up seating us in about 15min. Good experience all around!
Brian Makovicka
Delicious appetizer, dinner and dessert. Chris, our server, was outstanding. He gave a excellent recommendation dinner, the chili glazed halibut.
Jason K
We had brunch here and couldn’t be happier. Our reservations at Sqwires didn’t work out and Andrew fit us right in for brunch. Great food and drinks
Mr. Bulldops (PrincessArtichoke)
The interior is stunning. The food matched. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the food and also the food scene in Saint Louis. Plus, I was able to try the Impossible burger for the first time which was strange and delicious.
Kyle V. Smith
Stumbled in to Polite Society while looking for another restaurant. And happy i did. The staff was attentive and friendly. Wine list has a lot of depth. The the burger was great! My server Sarah was funny, warm and knowledgeable. I had so much fun i took a friend back the next night.
And that did not go as well. We sat at the bar for a good 20 mins before some one said a word to us, while watching people that came in after us get served. So we ended up just having a couple drinks and going somewhere else for dinner. I am not sure what the break down was, but it was disappointing. I would for sure go back and give it another try maybe that night was just a fluke. That 2nd day is the only thing holding me back from giving 5 starts.
Abdi P
Great vegan options- great service!
The food was delicious! My friend and I enjoyed the Portobello Tempura, the Impossible Bolognese and the Crispy Okabe. All vegan and really good. Prices are a little above average but the atmosphere and the friendly staff make up for it. A great place to have a nice dinner.
Alexandria Thibodeaux
This place was wonderful! My husband and I went here this past weekend and had a fantastic time. We had a reservation and when we arrived, the restaurant was still little busy so we waited at the bar and were acknowledged within five minutes of sitting down. The bartender thanked us for being patient but really, we weren't waiting long at all! And another bartender came around and asked me how my drink was to make sure that I enjoyed it. The drinks were phenomenal; truly unique and absolutely delicious.
After about 15 minutes we were seated and the aesthetic of the restaurant blew me away. Exposed brick, the unique lighting fixtures that produced perfect lighting and accents of character everywhere created an overall cozy and fabulous atmosohere.
Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was superb. We got an appetizer of the mushroom tempura and it was a generous amount which you wouldn't normally expect from an appetizer. As vegans, my husband and I were thrilled that there was a vegan option for both an appetizer and also as an entrée, which was also delicious and filling. Our server mentioned to the chef that we were vegan and the chef actually came by our table and sat down and talked with us about what inspired their vegan dish, which I thought was really cool and personal! I believe his name was Tom... very nice man and we appreciated his concern for our needs. Only reason I'm giving four stars is because we waited quite a while for our entrée to arrive but it was still a pleasant experience overall.
We will definitely be returning and bringing friends!
J. Christopher Blair
Great food, great service, and a large and diverse wine list on Lafayette Square. What more could you ask for?
The new head chef is amazing. Everyone makes us feel like long-time friends and the food is inventive and perfectly-prepared, the best in the city, as always.
This is my favorite seasonal new American restaurant in St. Louis. In fact, this is my favorite restaurant in St. Louis (Cunetto's and Golden Wok are tied because their cannelloni and chicken fried rice have been my favorites for over 20 years).
Thank you all, as always.

Keith Myrick
The ambiance, flavors, and wait staff was amazing! The roasted duck breast and the scallops were magnificent.
Awesome neighborhood gem that I wish I could take home to Michigan with me.
W M
Great service, good food and ther most pleasant atmosphere. My bestie and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be going again soon. And letting my other friends know about it. A hidden gem
Ms. Lynn J.
Came here looking for something out of the ordinary. It was an all around awesome experience. I give you two thumbs up. Great food and drinks. Thanks for the great experience!!
Karen Ortiz
We had reserved a table which is super easy to do via yelp and was assisted immediately as we walked in. Customer service was on point and food was absolutely delicious. I absolutely loved the decor of the building and the vibe to the place. Will definitely stop by again.
nicky ridgeway
I had the Indian Summer cocktail which, like all of their cocktails was well-made. The bar is in a separate room from the dining area which gives you a definite feeling of separation from the larger group that might be there. The aesthetic was pretty good, but would have been better if the single bar TV wasn't on sports.
Todd G
This is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis...all things considered. Lafayette Square is a great area and parking is (usually) easy. Bar area is okay (could be improved for sure), but the dri is and service MORE than make up for it. The drinks are unique, the bartender is always up to ask what mood I'm in or what I typically like and makes a good suggestion. If I'm willing to try something unique (yes please), he's always offered to make me a different one for free I'd I dont like it. Always appreciated!
The dining area, I feel, is where this place really shines. The atmosphere makes you feel as if you're in a cozy English home or library having dinner with a kind family haha. To top is off, the food is always good!
Elaine P
Need to do reservations ahead of time esp during weekend which they get pretty packed. Nice place and great ambiance. Will come back again!
Robert Crisp
Wonderful food. I would recommend asking staff for their recommendations ... and live life on the edge: food and drinks! We had a great meal here, and will be back.
Zane Stringer
If you’re wondering if you should go, the answer is yes. We had the confit chicken wings which were some of the best we’ve ever had. The mixed drinks were also incredible. The charcuterie board was also fantastic, great mix. But the pretzel bread pudding...show stopper.
Alexandre Fernandes
The best brunch in the city!!! Amazing options and superb quality. Definitely a must!!!
Kellie Morris
This restaurant was so awesome, we came here 2 days in a row. Had a small issue today, it was corrected immediately with a smile on the servers face. Atmosphere, food and service is fantastic. Strongly suggest giving this place a try. Top notch, unique restaurant, with great food at a fair price. What more can one ask for. ;-)
Phillip Hamilton
Great food, amazing service, wonderful environment. Had a great meal. something new in Lafayette Square.
Andrew Maynard
Good high-end restaurant and it serves the impossible burger. This makes it a pretty good vegan option but still not great for eating plant-based (very little salt, sugar, oil). The atmosphere was pretty loud but the setup was nice.
Isabella Cannon
Went with a work colleague while on a business trip. We made a reservation and there was spit to make special requests. We joked it was our work anniversary as we have gone on this annual business trip together twice. We were seated quickly and had a knowledgeable server. We got water and an appetizer and I filled in my colleague about the special request and how I was sad that they didn't say anything. Just then the server walked out with a champagne toast on the house. I don't like to take advantage of the system and thought it would be a fun way to park my friend but you by far exceeded my expectations and my colleague has become one of my "top 4" friends thanks to the experience.
Eric Brooks
Excellent food and even better service. Great for gluten free! You must try the tomato temporah!!! I got sea bass, wife got pork busso. Both excellent! Service was very informative and had perfect timing. We loved the atmosphere and the decor- very classy and hip. Perfect for a date or group of 4.
Johnson Lancaster
Stopped in twice on New Year's Eve with roommate and a friend for libations, French onion soup and cheese artichoke dip with toasted pita bread. Welcoming ambience.
Chris Termini
Let me be clear that I really like this place and have been here more times than I can count. My only complaint is that almost everything was with pumpkin, butternut squash, or sweet potato. I just wish that it wasn't an almost 100% "fall vegetables" accompaniment menu.
Haley Nelsen
Delicious food, great service, and the perfect ambiance. I’m gluten free (celiac) and the server was very knowledgeable about what was safe and what wasn’t. Will definitely recommend to friends!
Steven D Mann
I took the ladies (my wife and my mom) for an early dinner after the chef told us they were open at long last. The staff was everywhere chatting, pouring constant flow of beverages and there was a happy buzz all around. The architectural designed interiors are superior to almost anything I have seen lately and the menu was refreshingly simple, although descriptive enough to satisfy the inquiring mind.
As we were served our salads I noticed the place was already packed and we did not have any noise issues conversing at our table, which is usually a problem at popular places.
The dinner was served at a leisurely pace and as we were not spending the evening, we wrapped it up early without trying the dessert, although the dessert menu had about 4 very enticing treats.
If you like natural flavor of incredibly hard to find organic food items and appreciate artisanal new creative flavor combinations, this place is a must try. The bar was full of gen-xers and millennials so the drinks must be au-courant as well, however I bet us oldsters could easily get a nice scotch any day. Check out their website online and their menu and make this your next dinner out in historic Lafayette Square. This is a big winner!
Josh Flori
Points off for using canned whipped cream on the dessert. The food is too high quality to do that.
Very good otherwise.
Brenda Eve Ladin
This was a wonderful place to go for a birthday dinner. The interior is ecclectic and fun, welcoming for an intimate dinner, or a large group excursion. It is clear that great care and attention has gone into the menu selections, and the decor. The food was very good, perhaps a little salty, but overall it was a positive dining experience.
Fred Speno
Enjoyed dinner at Polite Society a week
or so ago, for the first time. The menu is remarkably immaginative. If there is style, I would suggest that the chef is most influenced by Provencal, but there were not stews, casolets or other single vessel dishes.
Liberal use of lardons to flavor cut of mediocre value, a common practice in Provence. Liberal use of local and greens and vegetables. Superb experience. I look forward to an encore. Service was good and friendly, but not polished.
Yang Yeri
Everything is so tasty !
Paul Rueckert
What a gem of a place in a historic neighborhood. Great brunch options, super friendly staff, a bar that goes on and on. This spot calls for many repeat visits. We sat at the bar for our meal. It was fun to watch all the people coming and going.
David L. Gray
The best Shrimp and Grits I've ever had. We arrived on time for our reservation and was seated pretty soon thereafter. Service was professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Food was pretty good and comparative to the prices. I'd eat here again.
Noelle Parris
Excellent food, impressive drinks (and afters!) menu and attentive, pleasant staff. There was one misstep (an error in fulfilling the order), but it did not detract from the experience at all. Worth a trip, and I would go back.
Nathan Berkley
The Service was good. The food was amazing!
I loved the ambiance. It is a very special place that I look forward to visiting again.
Kenneth Mounts
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was perfectly done, the drinks we ordered were delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will visit again.
Jacob May
Went last night to experience the Impossible Foods burger! Was a little disappointed it’s not served with vegan cheese and their fresco sauce isn’t vegan either, so we stopped at Whole Foods on the way and grabbed some Miyoko’s Kitchen Garlic & Herb Cheese. It was incredible. Solid portion of fries (also fire) which never disappoints. Bartender was talking about incorporating Impossible Foods Ground Beef into their breakfast which is super exciting. Hopefully those options are 100% vegan! Will return...tonight probably
Adam Hawkins
Brunch was great ! I had the shrimp and grits. My party of 5 had a great time sitting and talking while enjoying the food and atmosphere. A definate must visit.

The food is top notch and the service and ambience is wonderful. The wine list is extensive and the craft cocktails are amazing. The owner is often around to greet you as well. Go ... you won't be dissapointed.

Polite Society was warm, cozy, and welcoming. The atmosphere was refined yet relaxed, the cocktails and wine were excellent, the meal was divine, but what stood out the most was our server Josh. We will be back often!
James Frueh
First time visit last night and we had a very good meal and service. Our waiter Eric was terrific. We would definitely return and also want to try their sister restaurant The Bellwether.

Fantasic bruschetta, shrimp n grits, gnocchi and brussel sprouts. Everything was excellent, especially the aforementioned items. Staff and atmosphere created a nice comfortable, non rushed environment. Great little spot in the Lafayette Square nieghborhood, we will be back.
Carol Wright
Attended wedding gathering Sàturday at Polite Society. The food was was plentiful and delicious. Everyone raved about the food. They even made special accommodations for guests with special diet needs. Loved Polite Society,. Can't wait to visit the first floor.

Steve Anderson
Delicious food, cocktails are well crafted, and the service is friendly and attentive. The menu has a variety of price points and tastes. This has become one of my favorite places!
Pat Henderson
I came here for brunch since I saw that they had bottomless mimosas. They were serious about people not sharing the mimosas since they use expensive champagne. The food was okay, not memorable but overall good.
Emma Dei
Delicious cocktails and very attentive wait staff. We had the chocolate hazelnut crepe cake, we'll be back soon for another slice! Very impressed.
Kat McGrath
Wonderful atmosphere and roof deck. Service a bit slow so plan accordingly, especially if you want a cocktail. Drink delivery is really really slow
Gautam Andotra
Fantastic sunday brunch. The menu is small and works really well. All the food items were spot on. No complaints at all. Will definitely visit again.

Ordered through grubhub. Sometime that works, sometime it doesn’t. This one certainly works. Ordered salmon, burger, pear salad with side dishes. Food was fantastic for everyone. Loved the veg sides. I want to go there and see what else they have to offer. Btw. The order was delivered before scheduled time
Rachel Berland

Cool quaint spot, feel like they could dial in their food a bit more. Overall a very enjoyable dinner, but feel they could focus a bit more on execution of their dishes.
