The photos on Google uploaded are from years ago and the setting has changed since. Went to dine near the Pike Public Market. Pretty much most of the places closed at 6 so options were very limited. We were walking away and saw this place. There were seats at the bar and were welcomed in. Menu mostly consists of sushi items and don't have much kitchen menu other than simple such as tempura & gyoza. Unagi don- $18 (3 pieces) never had unagi don with avocados & unagi was cold Poke bowl- $23 on the sweeter side but it was fine with me. Served with mixed tuna & salmon. Service size was good. Both came with miso soup, perfect for a cold night. I also ordered gyoza steamed. It typically comes deep fried but they were able to accommodate for me. Server was nice; looked like a small family business. Bathroom itself is clean, but walking to the bathroom, you walk through unorganized kitchen area.

I highly recommend the Chirashi bowl. It served pretty looking and delicious. The rolls were decent, but I wouldn't recommend the tempura set. We didn't enjoy it much. I suggest they update their menu on platforms like Yelp, as we had gone there specifically for katsudon but found out they no longer serve katsu items.

the service was not really friendly here they changed their menu, no more sushi don anymore however, the sushi was not too bad the california roll tasted pretty nice tho the crème brulee looks really similar to the one i saw in costco tho (the packing decorations 😂 the owner does not let you come in until everyone shows up

Wonderful service! On a mother daughter trip my mom and I stopped by. The staff was amazing. Something happened with the rice and our chef felt badly he spoke with us directly, made us an appetizer with what he had and we even got to try an experimental roll. Our server was equally as awesome. She constantly checked on us and ensured a great experience! Thank you so much Urara

Absolutely delicious Japanese food, fast service and awesome quality, the fish melted in my mouth, and the rice was awesome, the only reason why I don't give them 5stars it's because I founded a little tiny thin hair in the rice. But that was the only black spot. Fair prices. I recommended this place in a 95%

Great place for lunch. Great crispy chicken, and awesome sashimi salad. Just up from the Market, gets busy around 12:15pm. Expect to pay a minimum of around $15 for lunch but totally worth it for the food quality.

Our sushi and sashimi was fresh and well made. All dishes were tasty and had good presentation. Restaurant had cozy atmosphere with a view of Pike Place Market sign and a ferris wheel. Staff was courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this place. The chef is very good at his craft and the waitress is wonderful. I went during the morning on a Wednesday, so it wasnt so busy even though Pike Place was packed. The food, the people, and the atmosphere all-together were lovely.. I personally think it's better to go dine in, especially if you're one to eat solo, instead of ordering from a third party and getting it delivered.

BEST SUSHI WE HAVE EVER HAD. The service was amazing, and the chef gave us several personal recommendations that we really appreciated. This place was incredible, we came back multiple times during our visit. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Seattle!

The environment was calm and peaceful while being steps away from Pike Place. The sushi was amazing, with the perfect amount of seasoning. The waitress was very attentive and sweet, making sure our tea cups were always filled and checking in to see if we wanted to order anything else. The chef was very friendly and great at his craft. Special note: the toro sashimi was amazing - it melted in my mouth and had an amazing flavor. Thank you to everyone at Urata Japanese Cuisine - you've been a highlight to our vacation!

Great food, been here twice and everything was excellent. I came when this place first opened and was pleasantly surprised. There were a few hiccups with service the first time, but nothing to worry about. The second time I came, they had vastly improved on service speed and quality, and the food was also improved (event though it was very good to begin with). The salmon sushi is tasty and buttery smooth and all around awesome. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Japanese.

I've been here four times now. And it's been the last two that have blown me away. Great food and even greater service. Their happy hour for their all you can eat is the best deal in town. Go hungry and open to try a good all you can eat sushi place. We all know not every all you can eat sushi places are good. This one is under new ownership. And they got it right! Parking is not that bad as well. The area is great. It's in the middle of Japanese. So there is so much to do when you come here to eat.

A tiny little place just off the main public market street. Quick service. Friendly but not overbearing. Willing to serve you efficiently and keep business moving without making you feel rushed. Enough options for variety but not so many that it becomes hard to choose. The food was delicious with enough provided for the price offered. Definitely one of the better places I've eaten in Seattle and would want to go back again.

If you want a place at Pike's Place not too expensive but delicious then you've found it. Lots of japanese come to eat here at lunch time, delicious with fair prices. Very nice Japanese restaurant. I had a poke bowl which was made gluten free with gluten free soy sauce. It came with miso soup which was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and it is well priced.

It's an above average Japanese restaurant. Friendly staffs and food came out quickly. According to other reviewer's photo, the place raised their price quite a bit recently. Seafood is fresh and tasty.

Lovely place. It was busy so service was slow, but it was well worth it. Excellent food reasonably priced. Less than $35, including tip, left us well fed and satisfied. We had miso soup, a rainbow roll, tempura shrimp & vegge with rice and tea.

This place was great! They were out of oden, which I really wanted to try, but they had great takoyaki and it filled me up most of the way. The vibe was great too. A nice server, calming instrumental music, and beautiful decor. All in all I would really recommend!

The salmon poke roll was superb. It's a creative roll with a nice kick of jalapeño. The staff is friendly and management seems on top of things. I had a great time here.

Good meal overall--closest to the quality of food from Japan as I've had in the area. Chirashi bowl was great, and the fried karaage chicken was super crispy and delicious as well as the kastu on the katsu bowl. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the rice in the katsu curry don was undercooked and crunchy.... But I will be giving them another go at some point cause it was otherwise great.

Ordered a chirashi bowl for takeout during lunchtime. I personally think Musashi’s fish is better, but it’s a convenient and quick lunch spot if you’re in the Pike Place neighborhood.

Not as many options as I recall from My last visit/ pre-pandemic. Miso soup was bland, sushi rolls were enjoyable/ it was beautiful, but the Nega Hami [Yellow Tail] was reminiscent of tuna fish in texture and flavor. The Salmon Skin was very Crunchy.
