Reviews of The Hart and the Hunter
Julia Soto
Very good drip coffee. I got the H&H breakfast and it was satisfactory. I ordered the bacon crispy and it came out perfect! Potatoes were okay but could have had more flavor. Toast could have used butter, average bread. Large servings. VERY cute atmosphere and our waitress was lovely.

I walked past this place a few times and of course, noticed the name. Today, to avoid the crazy Pike Street Market crowds, I went in for lunch. I’m really glad I did. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. They bring a whole pitcher of water to the table, a big plus. The menu is just right, not huge, but not tiny either.I had the turkey melt on sourdough. It was delicious. (Having fish and chips every day, I opted for a salad instead of fries.) The prices were great. The space was clean, relaxed, and comfortable.

I came here for weekend brunch. I got the roasted salmon from the special which was pretty good. The salmon tasted well with the farro whose acidity balanced the roasted salmon well. Our order took a lot of time to come. Our server said it is due to the salmon which seemed odd considering it is in the specials. The taste I feel made up for the wait. My wife got the mushroom omelette with sourdough toast. The mushroom was very good and the overall dish was pretty tasty appetizing. We ended with some banana pancakes which came with jam, berries and 2 meringue. The pan cake tasted well but was slightly burnt at the edges which contributed to a bitter after taste in some bites. The wait time for 2 people was about 15 mins and service was pretty great.

Very interesting place. Simple, understated look, but amazing food and service. We were seated close to the kitchen counter, which was great, as we saw the chef cooking his delicious creations. Our waitress Roshandra, was unlike any waitress we’d ever seen. Not only that she was attending to several tables without missing a beat, but she was also helping customers at the espresso bar for takeout. Doing it all with a smile. Their waffles were the best as was everything else. The unusual feature of this restaurant is an additional library type room, with a fireplace.

Lovely brunch spot near Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle - situated right inside the hotel, it has that western parlor decor and vibe to it, but modernized and sleek furniture to accompany them with.
Food is great, overall very well seasoned and not too strong. Their strawberry jams are homemade, the omelet had herbs that I personally found it to be too strong, but some would like it. Waffles came out soggy as it was drenched in syrup, but otherwise fried chicken was really well made, crisp and tender meat inside. Strongly recommend trying their cappuccino, and their lemonade to drink down any heavy aftertaste from butter and grease. Fries accompanied with their sandwiches (we tried grilled cheese) were nothing special, grilled cheese was tasty as the cheese used were Tillamook and Beecher’s.
Parking is practically non-existent, either street or paid garage parking nearby. Recommend getting here by foot or transit if you live near by, otherwise plan to park far and walk here.

Restaurant is a bit snooty for what it is. Atmosphere is warm, staff were not. We ordered biscuits and gravy which were fresh, but likely not what you expect. Good, fluffy biscuits with a smooth brown gravy over top rather than the classic southern take. Gravy lacks character which is a bummer since that should be the hero of the meal. Price was too high for what we ordered. Good spot for quick food though, and the rest of the menu looked interesting. Has a little coffee spot inside as well.

I came here a few times and had very mixed experiences. One day had a really delicious brunch here. I split eggs benedict and an omelette with mushrooms and ricotta, both of which were delicious. The coffee was high quality and really well brewed. I came back another time and the service was painfully slow and my poached egg was so overcooked it was basically hard boiled
Gary Jelks
A great place for breakfast.
Food was delicious and served quickly.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Menu choices were plentiful and reasonably priced.
Based in the Palihotel and close to the Pike Place Market.
Definitely worth a visit

So cute and so delicious! We had the sparkling rosé, grasshopper and spritz. Delicious. For brunch we ate the eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy and the mushroom omelet. Super good. We will be back!

The owners have attempted to make this place a 1950s diner but with a modern feel, it’s oddly comforting to sit in there. The Eggs Benedict is pretty good here. You may need a reservation to get in, otherwise there might be a wait. We got lucky and were able to get a table just after noon on a Sunday.
Versatile V
Great spot for brunch, we sat right away at the diner. Ordered matcha tea and biscuits, very good. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was cool
Theresa Shupe
I was very happy with this place. I didn’t really have to wait at all to sit down. I ordered the H & H Breakfast and a mimosa. My potatoes were really good and the biscuit was one of the best biscuits I’ve had In awhile. It was so flakey and they brought me jam. It also came with this chipotle butter that was super good. They were able to do egg whites for me so I was happy about that. Needless to say I ate everything on my plate.

What a gem! I live across the street and somebody from my neighbors said we should try this place. Since bacco is almost impossible to get in we strolled and decided to check out this one. Omg i loved it!
Service is very good but be patient, they also get busy. Joe was so nice, he really knows how to make you feel good and welcome.
Since we both don't eat pork, we ask to substitute ham to smoked salmon. It's so nice!
I highly recommend egg Benedict. It came with nice warm salty buttery biscuit and delicious hollandaise sauce. Honestly, one of the best egg Benedict's in my life. Not afraid to say but better than bacco. Side potatoes were so gooood. My favorite place now. Me and hubby will make egg Benny day and we will be coming for more!!!
Andreas Aristidou
A great little spot as part of the Palihotel. Loved their salmon omelete with extra bacon. A nice atmosphere, great service and they let you place your luggage on the side while you dine.
Monica Xu
quite lovely. very well decorated interior. service was very good and food was delicious! their whipped butter was truly the cherry on top. their latte is very strong so be wary when ordering.

I don't want to be the guy that goes to a city like Seattle and always eats at the hotel restaurant, but it was hard not be with how good Hart and Hunter was.
The staff was exceptionally nice and impeccably dialed, despite the fact that they could probably get away with not being so considering how the city still isn't very busy due to COVID. It also helps that that food was excellent at least to my tastes.
Meg Baum
Amazing breakfast experience! Solid coffee and meals but our waiter William made it even better. Try this place out and ask for him!
Wendy McAdams
Had a good breakfast here. Service was great. I had the H&H. Highly recommend the biscuits with the chili butter. The best.
T C Bailey
Great Breakfast in Downtown Seattle! Coffee was perfect. The biscuits were extraordinary and light as a feather. We split the corned beef hash and the banana pancakes. The hash had huge cubes of corned beef with poached eggs, potatoes and pickled veggies. It was great. The banana pancakes came with fresh fruit compote topping and they were unbelievable. The servings were huge so be prepared to either split things or to eat more than usual. The waiter was so nice and took great care of us. The setting itself was really cool. Best place downtown for breakfast.

Suzy and I recently had a fantastic breakfast experience at The Hart and The Hunter in Seattle. The menu featured a variety of creative and flavorful dishes, with options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. I personally loved the egg salad sandwich on rye, which was perfectly balanced and satisfying. The trendy downtown hotel venue added to the overall experience, providing a chic and sophisticated atmosphere for our meal. The grapefruit mimosa was a great addition to the breakfast menu and made for a refreshing start to the day. I highly recommend The Hart and The Hunter for a memorable breakfast experience in Seattle.
Heather Teerlink
Fun atmosphere and very nice staff. The menu had something for everyone in our group and had us wishing we had another day in Seattle so we could come here again and try more. The H & H breakfast was delicious and so was the Banana pancakes with the berry compote. I would highly recommend this brunch spot for all ages!
Aaron Ross
The BEST biscuits this side of the country - we’re from the southeast originally, and in 3 years in the PNW haven’t found anything that comes close. The waffles and eggs Benedict are delicious too!
Eric Rush
Wow. I don't know if we had a one off experience, but this was hands down the best food I have had in Seattle. The food was seriously extraordinary. We had the mushroom burger (can't remember their name) and the biscuits & gravy. Both were PHENOMENAL. We were seated quickly, dealt with promptly, and served fast. Prices were very reasonable. I left saying "I will leave these guys a GLOWING review.
This is it.
Kay Dee
I’d say a 3.5. It was ok, just not great.
I didn’t have reservations, but was grabbing a late breakfast solo so wasn’t too concerned about waiting. However, there were a few groups that all arrived at the same time and they just left us hanging by the door for at least 5 minutes before even acknowledging us. The couple ahead of me had rezzies, so they got a table, I waited probably another 5 minutes before being asked if I had reservations and was eventually offered a seat at the bar - which only had 2 people there at the time.
I’m calling this out because I counted at least 3 uniformed folks walking around and near us the entire time.
Anyways - bartender was nice. I got a mimosa with a splash of orange and grapefruit juice and it did the job.
I ordered the waffle with chicken and it was just ok. The chicken had a nice color and crunch to it, but some of the breading was still wet - gross!
Overall, it was ok. Just not sure it was exactly worth the $50 I spent. But Seattle is pricey for no real reason. And I live in Chicago
gabi mckenzie
So cute. I only stopped in for coffee and a pastry but both were excellent, staff was lovely, and breakfast smelled amazing. This area desperately needed a cute coffee spot while the one across the street is being renovated, I love having this option down here! Had a coffee for here at the bar, super quick and easy. My barista was so nice and kind, great start to my morning.
I’ll def save this place as a spot for coworker happy hour when I’m downtown or weekend brunch when I have fam visiting.
Paul Block
I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! I had the chicken and waffles and I was NOT disappointed. My had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious also. The atmosphere is great as well but my focus was their food
Barret Cook (US)
Eh it was fine. That’s about all I can say. We were here on Thursday at 6 so, hoppin’ it was not. Maybe we ordered the wrong things on the menu, etc. I would skip and go somewhere else. For background we ordered the chicken and waffles and the mushroom omelette.
Jadranka Keener
Loved having late night drinks here and breakfast in the morning. Great staff and cozy atmosphere.
John Rogers
Absolutely wonderful! Stumbled in there after a stroll around the Market. Bartender and manager were incredibly happy and wonderful. Great place for food and cocktails! Merry Christmas

Where can I even begin. As a non Seattle resident I just want to say that finding this place felt like destiny. Petar (our server) was a truly wonderful human. He made us feel like we were not at a restaurant but instead guests in his home. Almost like he was serving us food cooked in the kitchen of his mother, which as we all know is where good food begins. He was everything you would ever want from a server. You can always tell when a person truly enjoys the food they serve daily and that is exactly what I got from this man. His humility and sincerity were the secret ingredient to a magnificent meal. Mahalo nui loa to Petar!
Also! To the cooks!!! Everything from the soup to the hash to the burgers was divine! I felt like each bite was worth every cent!
AND the coffeeee! In a state full of Starbucks it is easy to forget that there are real craftsmen baristas out there. The lattes were foamed to perfection and left me satisfied but craving more!
Moral of the story- it is so easy to miss this place as its sign outside is as humble as its servers. If you are lucky enough to find this place you will not be disappointed. Thank you to everyone on this team.
Julia Hustler
Nice diner-style restaurant with open kitchen and a lot of two-person booths. Round seats at the tables are far too narrow for comfort. Oysters were tasty but would have benefited from a mignonette instead of the hot sauce provided. Really did nothing for the oysters. Chicken and dumpling soup was satisfying and well-seasoned. Shrimp and grits were cheesy, would order again. Fried green tomatoes were ok. Service was slow, and for a slow night, this was hard to understand. Overall, I can't say I'm compelled to go back.
Emma Conlon
Loved this breakfast, and the guy who helped was also very friendly.. don't know his name unfortunately.
Sara Wainwright-Feldman
The service here was great especially behind the bar. The cocktails are inventive, very well made and reasonably priced. The butter biscuits are TO DIE FOR. Seriously, get one order per person. The “hot” chicken sandwich had barely a hint of spice (a dash of Tabasco maybe, if that) and was very dry. The breading was good but it was largely flavorless. The steak with cheesy potatoes were good, if over-priced and over salted. My recommendation: come here for the cocktails, butter biscuits and cozy ambiance.
Joshua Renz
Our server William T was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. They were under staffed today which was unfortunate because I believe this could be a 5. I almost gave it a 3 since the bacon was cold, and my pancake was a little burnt. My mom said the biscuits were the best she’s had in a while! I’ll come again on a regular day (this was New Years)
Rik kern
My rating is based on atmosphere and service alone as I didn't not eat any food. I absolutly love the ambiance. The vibe is super chill. The menu appears to be new and fresh. Items I havet seen anywhere else. Chicken skin cracklings? Who does that? I had a few drinks but will certainly be back for some food at some point. Visually pleasing AF
Tov N.
Ordered the smoked corned beef hash. Beef was tender and moist, large portion. A bit salty for my taste.
Piper J. Drake
The oatmeal pancakes are literally pan sized, served with plenty of butter and warmed syrup and also a nice, tart berry compote with cherries and possibly raspberries or blackberries? Very tasty.
I'm also a fan of their fried chicken sandwich with pickles that I think are housemade and absolutely wonderful.
The booths are cozy and maybe a little too snug a fit for a curvy girl like me but I switched to the bench on the other side in the same booth and was fine. There's also plenty of tables with chairs for those who like to sit farther back from the table.
Sonja Baron
Very nice hidden place for breakfast near the Market. Great coffee, and I would stop in just for this. They even have a small bar, will stop there for a drink as well!
Daniel Miller
Great spot! The place is beautiful! Love the look! We had the H &H breakfast cooked very well and the potatoes were fantastic.
They had fruit compote with the waffles and the biscuits, Delicious!
The staff very friendly and helpful. We had a few items go back (the kids were being picky) the manager helped us out!
Would recommend to stop by if you're ever in Seattle!
Daniel Olshansky
Great portions, delicious food, and a great place to meet new people having thought provoking conversations.
Regulo Salinas
The pancakes and breakfast sandwich are amazing. Service was ok, very good location and the vibe of the place is cool.
Baselle 5000
Another place I went to that made it through the pandemic. I had the fish and chips and everything was a generous size...there was enough for two meals. Service was efficient and kind. My only ding was that a couple of the fish pieces were stuck together and batter at that place wasn't done. The cod, though, was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed reconnecting with the vibe...50s upper Midwest diner/hunting fishing lodge.
Steven Dawe
The Hart and the Hunter has been a great go to place for the locals. We eat there often.
Love the food.
Very sad that the mgt has not caught on that the kitchen has their own music playing that is in competition with the ambiance in the dining room.
It’s too bad since the designers of the space and those that select the cool funky music have lost the vibe with such a competition going on.
We plan on returning next week, however if the same battle is going on we will not stay.
Farid Sharifi
Such a cool spot. Almost like a cafe and an old country club lounge in one. The service was prompt. There were so many pretty architectural details.
Ross Higginbotham
Really enjoyed breakfast here. We were able to walk right in and get a seat for 3 during peak breakfast hours. Really surprising since the food was excellent.
Joshua Swayne
A wonderful, quiet, quaint place to grab a bite to eat. Nothing fancy or over-the-top straight forward hometown food and service.
Bridget Van Well
Vibe was great, such a cute spot with so much potential but service was mid. Got eggs Benedict and one of my eggs had no yolk, waiter asked what I wanted them to do with the attitude that it would be an inconvenience. Still enjoyed my meal but don't know if i'll be back.
Carlos Burns
Mapel syrup, chicken and waffles 🧇 delicious 😋
Natasha Yonkof
Very chic diner attached to a hotel with delicious food and great service. We popped in before a show and it did not disappoint. The soup, sandwich, and biscuits were amazing. Coming back for brunch sometime. Our server Joseph was super friendly and great as well.
Zina Edwards
Stopped for a quick bite. The fish and chips were good and the Reuben was good too. The prices are decent and not over the top pricey like some places around Pike Place Market. Service was great. I love the vibe of this place. I would recommend the Hart and Hunter for a casual meal.
Zheng Robert
Sandwich was bad. $6 for a side of salad was way overpriced. Fresh fries was good…
Claudia Santana
I went in exactly when they opened up. It took like 30 mins to bring me some scrambled eggs. Waitress was very nice
Courtney Langstrom
Awesome atmosphere! Great coffee. The eggs benedict was really yummy and it came with deliciously seasoned potatoes. However the chicken and waffles was a pass. The waffle seemed to have a cake batter texture and the chicken breading lacked flavor.
Corey C
Great breakfast! Delicious. Can’t go wrong with The H&H breakfast, got the eggs scrambled with cheese & bacon well done. It was *chefs kiss* amazing.
Sahand Saba
The butter biscuits are fantastic. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Good place for brunch I'd say.
James B
Eating breakfast there now and it’s so good I stopped eating to leave a 5 star review! I had the smoked corn beef hash and this is hands down the best breakfast I have ever had in my almost 40 years. It’s so much more than any corned beef hash, I don’t want to even try describing it because I worry I would somehow make it less impressive. I wish I would have taken a picture for you guys before I wrecked it. I would go way out of my way to eat here again!
Timothy Williams
I came for the biscuits! My experience here is a five star. The place itself looks really trendy and clean. When I went it wasn't that busy, so I had great service. I ordered the three biscuits with sides of three toppings. It was great. The biscuits themselves were delicious. They were soft and warm and seemed to be cooked with some southern loving. The spreads of pimento, jelly and a honey butter were all tasty. #tastybiscuits.
Karla Robledo
Great place to have a good breakfast.
Expensive? It’s Seattle, everything in Seattle is pricey.
The place is nice and cozy, servers are really nice and attentive. Food? It’s really good, I’d honestly recommend this place as a good way to start your day.
Paul German
KOOL vibes. Great service. Very interesting food. Go and try. I loved it
Chelsea Mathews
Have been here three times- Breakfast, and twice for happy hour. The food and atmosphere is always fantastic. The service is friendly, but has been very slow 2/3 times. Brought friends from out of town and it took 45 minutes just to get cocktails with only 3 other small parties in the entire restaurant. Disappointed that the service is not more up to snuff, otherwise we would make it our “usual” place.
Shmuel Steinberg
Beyond Burger and Biscuits & Gravy were delicious.
Benjamin Saff
I didn't think the food was up to the quality that the price tag demands. Close by Pike Place Market so that might explain the higher price tag. I don't mind paying that price but the food needs to up to snuff. Good servers though, good coffee, good interior aesthetic.
Melissa K
Had to try the new neighborhood eatery. Nice interior, kind of like a "trendy diner" atmosphere. The pros for me - attentive service and a very good cocktail, the Purple Finch. The cons - the very tiny booth, the burger had two types of onions neither of which are noted on the menu so I picked those off, and then the shoe string fries (my favorite style) had a spicy (to me) seasoning which was also not noted on the menu. My husband liked his Irish coffee but was not impressed with the hot chicken sandwich. An unimpressive meal not worth the price. Would go back for a drink, but not for the food.
Cindy Gallardo
Cool atmosphere. Server was attentive. I had the beet salad, delicious! Cocktails were top notch. Overall, a great experience. Make sure to order the biscuits.
Karima Hunter
The food is amazing! Portions are large and filling. The staff is great! William is my superb server! He’s so attentive and consistent with checking in at the table. Thank you guys for being awesome and open!
Henry Castellanos
I ate breakfast 3 days in a row, I definitely recommend this place, get your vanilla latte ☕️
infernoking6699
Compare to a lot of the tourist traps down on the market. The food here is pretty good and taste pretty fresh, it’s also a good price and cost a lot less than the tourist traps. The atmosphere is super chill and calming. They also welcome walk in so if your not wanting to wait in a long line this place is it.
Matt Coldwell
They get an additional star for being open for dinner on Christmas Day, and the restaurant itself was very nicely done. I can't say the same about the food however. We loved the butter biscuits, but they're tiny, about half dollar sized, so for three for $10 you're not getting much. The fryer was apparently broken, which the waiter failed to tell us, so it was interesting when the food that was supposed to come with string fries showed up with just the food on the plate by itself, looking very lonely. No offer of alternate side or anything. The hot chicken sandwich was ok, a bit dry, with a dollop of sauce and a couple of pickles, so nothing to write home about. The crispy salmon was crispy, but otherwise unremarkable, on top of a bed of soggy rice. The gnocchi was sad and mushy, swimming in so much butter.
So overall, it was a very ok experience. Not terrible, but I won't be going back.
Deb Olsson
Fantastic decor and cocktails! Service was great and they were open on a snow day. I’ll be back!
Charles Fredette
Amazing eggs benedict
Tiffany Graves
As a patron, I will say it is Seattle’s little best secret for brunch and lunch. Hell, it depends on how you like your meals because it caters all for each time of day. The staff is outstanding and very quick with delicious food. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable while
Being able to see the magic that is your meal coming right to you. It is a great place to stop in for the day or even for a trip because it is located inside the Pali-hotel( a new and beautiful hotel corporation). The chef runs a tight and cool ship, so worth a stop in any weekend or any weekday!
Nicholas Gilroy
Loved the Benny ! Great service and nice decor:)
Shane Mikes
Everyone seems a bit down on this place but we thought it was pretty good. It is a bit pricey but nothing exceptionally high. The buttermilk biscuits were every bit as good as people rave. We had the H&H burger (with perfectly caramelized onions), Braised Collared Greens, and Smoked Chicken & Ricotta Dumplings.
Paul Nathan
Tasty food. Menu was somewhat incoherent- it gave the vibe of something southern inspired, but with a northwest flair. While the food tasted good - I had a mushroom / dumpling soup- the novelty was in texture, not flavor. The inspiration and weight wasn't there; it was flavorful, but not notable. The concept didn't live up to the name, which speaks of deep forest and a crafty woodsman bringing down the game. Suggest that on the next menu rotation, venison is brought in to be part of the concept.
Derek Stivers
Limited menu. Decent atmosphere. The bar is the best part, but it is small. Brussel sprouts and cracklins are great, biscuits are good, the flat iron I had was undercooked, but otherwise a great cut of meat. $$$
Lana Adcock
Absolutely loved this cute place. The food was incredible and our server was amazing. I’m surprised nobody was to here at 1 for lunch. We will definitely be back!!
Greg Galbraith
This place is really great. The staff are super. They are very attentive. I highly recommend the Biscuits and Gravy.
Jacs Jones
Our food was excellent , very fresh and perfectly seasoned . They offer a good balance of lighter healthier options against some good hearty carby numbers . The interior is great , we were in whilst it was quite quiet but because it’s so nice inside it still had a nice atmosphere . Great drinks as well . Service a little slow but friendly and I honestly don’t mind that when the food is so fresh .
Dexter ward
Just saw the place right off the Palihotel lobby and decided to have lunch. Wow, I had the Avacado toast with and egg, that was amazing, I'll be having it again while I'm here. The staff was very kind but not hovering. Nice and quiet place to sit while not on your phone.
Rachel
I love their beet salad.
EN M
Such a gem in a prime location but you can walk right by it if you don't know about it. Follow the sign to go inside for an upscale, adorable diner with a great music playlist and simple, elevated dishes.
Walter Kinyanjui
I love the fact that they left the whole champagne 🍾 bottle with us for bottomless mimosas and since we couldn't finish it we just took it the to go.
charles olson
Great experience tonight at the Hart and the Hunter. Joe pur waiter* took very good care of us. The best biscuits. The kale salad with salmon was also outstanding. Thank you.
Michael G. Barash
The food was good but a bit pricy for what it was.
B.S.C.
Funky little cafe that is (of course) newly built, but looks like a old barn on the inside. Cute environment, food is pretty good... Buy not amazing. The restaurant is inside/connected to the Palihotel Seattle.
Elena Gilg
Very nice place, very friendly and attentive staff, good food and drinks. Feels a little bit like a eat-and-go-place and if you’re looking for something to linger and enjoy a coffee afternoon with friends it might get a little bit uncomfortable, but besides that absolute lovely, for a nice hour of food and drinks totally recommendable. If you’re looking for a place to stay longer, I’d maybe not go there, that’s why it’s 4/5.
Candice Christensen
Really great food, laid back but interesting feel to it, great service. Really impressed! I got the smoked salmon omelette. Yum!
Colter Holmes
Pretty good food, amazing service
Matthew Graham
Always very busy, but great juice drinks and brunch food.
Bryan Y
Hidden gem in Seattle. Breakfast was excellent. I had the corn beef hash, vinger beware might be on the tangy side.
Christopher Pierce
Nice little Diddy here to grab happy hour. They have excellent taste in scotch and bourbon here. A little bright for ambience but every place is different. I will be back when I'm in the neighborhood.
Farren Lange
I had an excellent experience celebrating my birthday! Our server Shastin was outstanding! I will come back Especially if she is my server again!
nicholas mitchell
food's pretty amazing. coffee's great. you get what you pay for. QR code pay via phone. cool room.
Julie A
Cute place but on this day they were out of so many things- hamburger buns?!
Joe Pronk
First time customers. We found it to be a great value. Portions were good, prepared well. Very quiet place, not very busy. Suspect it will grow as it becomes more known.
George Leland Boyd
They have chicken and waffles and very good food. Smart thing is make a reservation on the weekends have a beautiful day
R XP
The freshest of orange juices. Aesthetically pleasing. Friendly staff. I was sick and they brought me some lemon ginger tea with honey. They were thoughtful, I was thankful!
Lindsay Tuel
The eggs Benedict literally swept me off my feet. Amazing. And the staff- incredibly sweet!
Paul Toh
BBQ Chicken was a little dry and the crispy chicken skin was a little salty. Nice ambience
Gaby R
Good service and the food was good too! I had the chicken and waffle, with an iced coffee. Nice local spot in downtown
Suco
Elevated dinner food. Cute little place and great service.
Brit San
Great breakfast spot in the heart of downtown fairly priced and fast William was wonderful and has excellent customer service very pleased will return thank you William for a wonderful experience!
Dylan Holmes
Delicious brunch, felt safe due to their COVID precautions, and would definitely come back for their cocktails at dinner
Kelsey Borge
Delicious food. Delightful staff. And a perfectly relaxed atmosphere with a view of the water from the outdoor patio.
adriana castro
Might be unconventional for a seattle location but their biscuits are delicious, yes regular human portions fresh and the perfectly cooked food with very good service.
Grant Hartwig
Food was good. But espresso martini was trash and it was white. And service was sub par
JR Slaughter
I liked it. I had the mushroom omelet. It was good. The bar tender was very nice.
Painter Jen
Food was tasty, a bit spendy for the portion size. DO NOT order the Bloody Mary!!! Horrible flavor and looked very diluted.
Michael Doyle
Cool decor, decent food.
Scott Matteson
Great food! One of the best breakfasts that I’ve had in a while!! Great service, and definitely deserves 5 stars!!
jelle
Really good food with a nice place
Rick Last
Great food and drinks. Staff is very friendly. You have to try the biscuits. They are amazing.

Wait staff is nice, but the menu options are few. If you are looking for variety I would go somewhere else.
Just the very basics here.

I love this place! I was staying at the adjoining Palihotel for a few nights; and had a lunch and a breakfast at the Hart and Hunter. The salmon burger (I asked for no bun) and side salad for lunch and bacon and eggs for breakfast were both delicious. And the service was outstanding: as good as anywhere I’ve experienced in the world! William T was attentive, friendly and remembered me on my return. He’s a star of a place that’s excellent all round. Thanks!

Cute place with good food!
Ordered the mushroom omelette with biscuit/jam. Super fluffy - came with mushrooms and herbs on top.
Also enjoyed the marshmello latte with oat milk.
Went for brunch, would go back to try other breakfast item or lunch. Not to busy early on rainy day during weekend .
Staff very friendly and helpful!

I ordered the half sandwich + soup option with the turkey melt, the food was so nice! 🤤 I’m literally still thinking about the pumpkin soup hours after lunch. The service was friendly but rather slow.

The place itself aesthetically is great. The staff are all beyond friendly and helpful. The food came up short in my opinion. It's all good and worth a visit but it just feels bland. The Johnny Cake with fried chicken had me excited but the "crust" on the chicken isn't breading but more like a strange skin and the chicken is for the most part flavorless. The burger is solid. The baked eggs dish is tasty. The biscuits are perfect and come with a great butter and pimento. All in all worth a shot but I think their flavors need some work. Most of the stars are for the service I received.

I ordered a mimosa and the mushroom omelette. it came with a biscuit and it was the most heavenly biscuit I've ever eaten in my entire existence. the service was lacking. there were only three other occupied tables in the restaurant, and the server didn't check on me even once, which I found disturbing. the ambiance was very the omelet was amazing. I really am disturbed by the lack of my server ever checking on me the whole time. however all-in-all I enjoyed the meal.

Decent cafe near Pikes place. About as expensive as you would expect in tourist land, a medium sized, basic waffle with an egg and coffee was $20.
Service was excellent.

(Translation) I went around 1pm on a weekday and there were hardly any people.
The food was so delicious. The stylish black server was so kind, and I ordered fish and chips and BBQ chicken. It's delicious, and if you ask for a beer menu, they give it to you. The atmosphere is good and the price is not bad. I really recommend it.

(Translation) We opted for the Hart breakfast. The decor is typical of an American diner, the service was very good, pleasant and unfortunately a little long.
The note was a little salty given the quantity and quality served.
