Reviews of Seattle Fish Guys
Dereck Chinn (MBN Media)
First time coming here, there’s a decent underground parking area but I warn you that it is steep so it isn’t suitable for some cars. They have an insane amount of all different types of seafood. I was really here just for the poke, I heard it was delicious so I had to go check it out for myself. I wasn’t really too sure what to get so I got a little bit of everything from tuna to scallops to salmon just to try it out. I really enjoyed the salmon. I also got some salmon jerky as well which was super yummy. All of their fish and things are fresh so that’s good to know. They have a great selection of snacks and drinks as well. Their prices are really fair too which I really enjoyed. They have great customer service, they were able to answer every single question I asked and helped me with everything. They even have pre made bowls or meals that you can just grab and go which makes it very convenient if you’re in a hurry and just hungry for a snack or something. Overall I really enjoyed their selection for everything and I can’t wait to come back and try more stuff!

Cute little place, very busy as it should be because they have amazing good! A variety of poke protein options, seafood shooters that they are creative in serving (as picture shows)- they DO NOT have indoor seating. There are two tables outside but forest come first serve means it's always taken. There is a railing/curb we all sat on as we waited for out food/ate and it worked.
Beer options are limited, I was happy to find a dark beer which I loved. Try the fooood, you won't regret it!
Treat yourself!!!
*Parking was easy for us to find.*

Place is the bomb! Staff was awesome and friendly. The food was amazing! We had the poke, tuna and salmon with a side of squid salad, and some uni!
Price was very good for the quality, would definitely recommend!
Gunnar
Pre ordered the medium sashimi platter and it was well with it! A ton of great fish and good variety. Poke bowls were fantastic as well. This is mostly a fish market with some takeaway options and some outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Haven’t been to Wild Waves in over 20 years! Took the grandkids (3-12y/o) and it was such fun. There are so many rides for younger kids (hadn’t remember this). The older kids loved the roller coasters. It was nice to have 2 adults-one to hang with the “littles” and one to ride with the older kids. We found that there were rides for both close together so we were able to stay together and meet after each ride. The food was remarkably reasonable (better then the theaters!! ) The only reason I gave this a 4 star is the wait in the water slides - but that’s to be expected . The water park was fun - we saved it for the end of the day and the crowds were significantly less! A “end of season pass” (which comes with a one time 1 free guest was only about $75 was a great deal as we are planning on going 3 times before school starts so we really got our moneys worth!) Don’t wait 20 years- go now!

Every time I visit Seattle, I have to stop here! Everything is so fresh and living in Orlando, you don't really see fresh uni as often. Such a good deal on the uni too!!! Probably my favorite poke place!
Katherine Haywood
Clam chowder was possibly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and the king crab panini was an excellent complement to it. I might just get a whole pint of the chowder next time I am here. Poke was good but I wish they had some more options like avocado and some crunchies to put on top. Overall delicious place for a quick bite and I will definitely be back!
Cindy Lin
Amazing quality for the price. Lots of options; only had the chance to grab a salmon chirashi bowl; but for the quantity and quality, I couldn’t ask for more. Also has a great selection of seafood to buy to takeaway. Will try their poke bowl next time!
Michelle Zhou
Poke was amazing and exactly what I was looking for. Huge portions that I had a hard time finishing all of it. The sides were also amazing- the kimchi, Mac salad, seaweed salad were all 10/10. The Mac salad had less mayo and mixed with bits of salmon- one of the best Mac salads I’ve had. Shoyu tuna was surprisingly better than the spicy salmon here and both were high quality and fresh.
If you’re craving poke this is the spot to go to. Just beware of the flies on the sidewalk.
Hitoshi Hokamura
Great seafood shop with good variety + small Japanese glossaries. Freshness is good and people are kind. Underground parking is plus. Great spot for Sashimi lover.
Michela Augustini
Delicious super fresh fish. I can't remember the names of everything we had but I am sure you cannot go wrong with anything here.
Also the cheesecake mousse was sooo good 😋
We'll surely be back for more next time we visit Seattle. …

It's a little overwhelming when you first walk in but MAN the food is delicious. We order a regular poke bowl with spicy salmon and crab salad, a poke bowl with spicy tuna, seaweed salad, and lau lau pork, and a spam tan roll. The poke was all amazing, super fresh and tasty. The pork was juicy and delicious, and all the side salads were great. They were out of Mac salad, which was a tragedy, but we're going back for sure and will try again then. The spam pan was like a savory donut with cubes of spam -- delicious! We sat out on the patio under the heaters to chow down and definitely had leftovers.
Emma Sun
First time been here, I got oyster shooters and 2 kinds poke (spicy salmon and creamy spicy tuna). They were so fresh and delicious. I was so happy to find this place
Richard Frock
Excellent first experience! Recommend the crab and scallops but really all the food was great. Will return again when back in town!
Penny Rusty Sophie
Small little seafood market with some nice Hawaiian-style poke as well as some other cooked items. Liked that you could get your poke (we tried the shoyu ahi and spicy salmon) with creamy mac salad.
Free underground parking and some outdoor seating.
DK
Just want to say we LOVE what’s served at Seattle Fish Guys. Tasty and a great place to get sashimi grade fish. Only wish they were closer to our neighborhood!
Yoki Wang
Nice place for poke near downtown area. The poke is fresh and price is reasonable. Uni had a deal at $10 for 4 (taste is ok and 1 out of 4 is super good; while the rest of the 3 is so-so level). Overall good option for grab and go.
Carrie L
Food was great, many options available even you don't want poke. Got ahi, scallop poke with squid salad and crab panini with clam chowder. There was a line, the place is a popular spot.

We loved the smoked salmon belly with rice and seaweed salad and kimchi! They brought out the mango sticky rice as we were walking out, so we turned around and got back in line. It was delicious! A cold and rainy afternoon, so we had a picnic in the car at a park close by. Coming back for more the next time we are back in town.
A V
Delicious food! Smoked salmon belly was incredible. The only issue was that service was slow. Only one person in front of me but the line moved slow. And then I had to wait another 10 minutes for the salmon to cook. Another issue is parking, be prepared to park a block or two away. Overall, still a high recommendation!
John Ebert
Best poke in Seattle by far. But more importantly best crab cakes I’ve ever had! Must order three crab cakes in order for them to cook the crab cakes in house. It’s an absolute must do!
Everything is very fresh and yummy! Enjoy!
Vincent Lin
I heard that this place is usually good, but when we went the salmon and spicy tuna weren't the freshest. The famous salmon roll was excellent tho
Eunice Ko
This is one of my favorites places to go for fresh poke and sashimi in town! The quality of their seafood is superb. I have had a $15 hamachi sashimi here that tasted better than a $30 serving at a restaurant with half as much fish. The selection is always changing so it's worth visiting often!
Brenda
Great place to get a variety of super fresh poke by the bowl or by the pound. Has a bunch of Asian snacks and beer too
J C
Poke is fresh but there were too many flies flying in the store. I think they need to do something about it it was pretty bad, almost to a point I was afraid those flies would get into my mouth if I didn’t have a mask on. I had to go through a swarm of flies to pay for my item.
They only made the salmon chirashi bowl on the day I went. Based on other photos I think they make other types of chirashi too.
Their display has wrong name cards, spicy ahi wasn’t spicy ahi, it was salmon. Little things like this make me wonder what the owners are doing.
Carl Ren
Nice and filling. Smoked fish is amazing and keeps well for breakfast with toast the next day. Poke is also extremely affordable and flavourful. The soft tender tuna coated with the glistening soy mixture is light and enhanced by the rice. The scallop poke is also nice and succulent. It’s always nice to enter a place and just see good food and no nonsense.
cperry52
This is a great place. Very good seafood with no frills. Worth a trip out of your way. Scallop poke was awesome!
Linda A. Pham
Came here right when they opened! Ordered the smoked salmon belly with macaroni, spicy tuna poke and 4 oysters. Everything was very fresh! Best dish I'd order again would be the smoked salmon belly (best smoked salmon I ever eaten)! Wished they can open a Houston location!
One Brick - Carlos
Their bakes goods (from Hood Famous) and prepared bowls are great, but the poke is just ok/good compared to other authentic hawaiian style pokes I have tried near Seattle.
J.D. Chang
I haven't been here in a while and was surprised to see all the new offerings in the store. I saw the smoked salmon belly and wanted to try it, but had originally came for poké. Since I don't get to come here often, I ordered some of the salmon belly on the side because I was curious to know what it tasted like.
Wow! Heating it transformed it -- so moist, buttery, and melt-in-your mouth delicious! I don't know if it's seasonal, but I'll be coming back it again, soon!
P.S. For a special treat, eat all the fish and fat off the skin then crisp the skin in a toaster oven or air fryer for an extra special treat! Have you ever tried Irwin's fish skin treats from Singapore that are all the rage? This is the gourmet version of that! 😋
UPDATE: I'm excited to see that they've added covering and heaters to their outdoor seating area -- increases the options for low-risk COVID dining!

There are home run dishes to order here. I removed one star for the gummy tuna poke which honestly had the texture of sticky thick gummy bears. The smoked salmon belly and chirashi bowls are great though! Also the female attendant was a bit rude and had an attitude but everyone else was friendly and helpful.
Gi Han
Wow. Blown away at the amount and quality of food for the price. Ordered a poke bowl with salmon, scallop, and tuna and it was fresh and sooo delicious. Also ordered the smoked salmon belly bowl and enjoyed that highly as well. The smokiness was not as strong as I thought which for someone like me was appreciated. The meat was fatty and tender; literally able to pick off the meat with just the slightest touch of my chopsticks.
Zoe Ye
We ordered small poke sampler and cannot believe its such huge portion and so tasty! The yuzu cheesecake is also a surprise to us. The staff are super patient and kind.
Fion a
Such generous portions of fish in the poke bowl and unagi bowl. The uni flavors were a hit or miss. Highly recommend this place
TinaEh VangLee
A must try if you're in Seattle! The employees were extremely nice, welcoming and helpful! There are signs to enter and exit (covid precautions). The food is excellent and the sashimi sampler is freshly cut right in front of you as well. We couldn't try everything we wish we could have. There is seating outside the building. Parking can be found around the area as well. The poke bowls were delicious as you can taste how fresh the fish cuts were. The salmon and tuna slices were high tier. Would highly recommend this place if you're in Seattle. Definitely coming back here again.
Stanley L
Good service and delicious unagi bowl.
The portion and eel itself are awesome, while the sauce is a bit sweet for me though.
A recommended seafood store!
Lynda Nguyen
The quality of fish here is amazing. I got the tuna poke with seaweed salad and side of rice. While the order may seem simple, there were SO many intricate flavors and textures from the tuna and seaweed which were then complimented by the jasmine rice. Such a hearty and classy poke meal coming from what seems to be a hole in the wall shop. I look forward to stopping by again!
Robert D'Souza
Lovely food and great service. I walked from lumen field via the wing luke museum, built up a huge appetite and was not dissapointed.
Michael E
Soooooooo good! Wife and I ate here for lunch after a long drive to Seattle. We wanted to grab lunch and needed something easy as we didn't know the area. This was perfect. Raw oysters on the shell and tuna poke were fresh, delicious and not over priced. Staff was super friendly and helpful. A truly great place for what they are.
Rhea Galsim
Locally sourced fresh seafood. I don’t eat poke as much but definitely this is a good spot. Ask for Claudio as we got a good deal on a dozen local oysters. Try the tuna jerky - surprisingly so good! We sat outside since eating inside was a bit small, and asked for the heat lamps to be turned on.
Mikee Anne
Tried their tuna poke, smoked salmon belly, and hamachi collar. Everything was very good and tasty. I just wished they offered some sauce to go with the hamachi collar and salmon belly besides a lemon wedge. We did get it to go so maybe if we had eaten outside they would have had some sauce, but overall food was very good.
Yuji Chan
BEST salmon belly, spicy tuna and mac salad 🙏 good pricing, fresh fish and food is scrumptious. …
Sandy Y
Missing Hawaii? Live in or visiting Seattle? Come here for a quick poke fix! They have a good selection of poke, seafood, shellfish, drinks and snacks.
Service is friendly and quick, seating is available but might not be available depending on how busy they are and food/ seafood is fresh and tasty.
C
SO GOOD! My favourite meal when I visited Seattle. We ordered the poke (soy tuna and scallop), hamachi kama, and garlic shrimp and crab. Prices were so good for what you get.
- Poke was fresh and flavourful, and portion was huge
- Hamachi Kama was cooked perfectly and meat was fresh and fatty
- Garlic Cajun shrimp and crab were meaty and garlicky

I’ve been coming here since living in Seattle for 5 years. I loved coming here because the food is phenomenal and most importantly the staff provide such a warm welcoming vibe. My most recent visit, I am sad to report was not great. The young adults/teens working did not say one word after asking for “who is next” just nods and shrugs and they simply seemed like they did not want to be there. From the counter server staff to the cashier. It just felt different. I did not see the usual adult staff I look forward to seeing with their warm gestures and sincere customer service. I will continue to go because the food is amazing and in hopes the original staff will return, however, I do suggest having a chat with the younger staff about customer service, I guarantee other customers who’s first time will have to experience the younger staff-will not return. Be well, thank you and see you soon.

The enthusiasm at this place was amazing along with the fast pace, but we loved it. We liked the area outside for eating and not a ‘normal restaurant’ type of environment, but definitely worth calling by. I loved the salmon on the rice with the greens.
Marcus J
Everything here is great! Poke portions are generous. I usually can’t finish their poke plate in a single seating. Other menu items that are good: unagi bowl, Mac salad. Sashimi plate and the salmon pan are pretty good but not amazing.
Aga K
Got poke here for the first time everyone raves about this place. It was alright. Salmon is cut into huge cubes, could be better if they weren't is big. The rice was not good. Stale and old. The seafood they sell though has great variety. Musubi was tasty.
G
Came here because of Strictly Dumpling on youtube. Got a poke bowl with 2 choices (Spicy tuna and salmon) and an oyster shooter. Both were delicious but I did think that spicy tuna was a bit too spicy for my taste. You can tell the food is fresh and getting my food took less than 10 min.
Stephy M.
Really great seafood! I love how fresh everything was! It was all delicious! Especially the oysters! So yummy! I would definitely come back here again.. they also have some asian groceries which is cool. And friendly staff as well. 🙂👍 …
Sushu Wang
Delicious poke, crab salad, and tomato basil soup! Friendly and attentive customer service. For example, they allowed us to stay and eat long after they closed. However, there are a lot of flies/bugs in the store and outside eating area.
Pha Lor
Got the sashimi sampler and poke with spicy tuna and salmon. Both were fantastic. Sashimi pieces are generously sized. Under $40 and way better/fresher than most other sushi places in the area. Staff is also very efficient, friendly, and helpful.
good times
Very good Cajun shrimp and crab. Good poke
Jeff Taylor
Fish Guys is a unique place, patronized by the young hip residents of the up and coming Judkins Park neighborhood. They offer super fresh raw fish, sashimi, jumbo cocktail prawns, a wickedly good crab sandwich and poke dishes. They feature what I think is arguably the best New England Style Chowder in Seattle.
The interior is deli counter style, they have limited seating so I'd highly recommend them for your next takeout adventure.
marina lilieholm
I am missing the hype on this. The ordering style was confusing to me so I wandered around for a bit before I figured it out. Also beware that because they do have fish out, there will be flies. I am not sure how normal that is.
The woman who took my order was nice, she let me try 2 sides!
I wish I could rave about the place but the poke was quality but the taste was lacking. I went at the end of the day so maybe I need it fresher? To be honest, the seaweed salad and krab salad were more tasty than the fish. Not that I don't appreciate fish but the taste was bland like stale-ish? Spicy ahi tuna was just regular tuna + scallions. The rice was decent and felt the portions are reflected well though so I didn't feel cheated.
Because this place gets such high praise, I'm going to give it another go.
Mitchell Yin
I used to go to Just Poke until my friend who considers himself a bit of a foodie (their food themed Instagram account has 183 followers, if that is important) called me out, so I bowed to social pressure and stood in line at 45th Stop n Shop, where some guy buying a Red Bull said to stop wasting my time and go to Seattle Fish Guys, and as much as it pains me to say it, he was right. The food here is amazing. I always get the salmon poke. Or at least, that was until my friend from Hawaii (this is important) said that everybody in Hawaii gets tuna, not salmon. "A popular youtube search will show you that salmon is actually from Norway," he said. All of this is to say that you ought to do as you please, and if that means getting all salmon at Just Poke, well, stick it to the man.
Gerrit Maritz
Excellent seafood (and more) shop👌 Had the poke bowl and it changed my perspective. I don't think I'll be able to have poke anywhere else now... 😅
The salmon jerky is also delicious and not to be missed!
Rupin Talreja
Decent food, the checkout is a little slow and they don't have any indoor seating post-covid
Emily Lothchomphou
Happy faces in fishy places! I loved my Unagi Bowl and King Crab Panini! Felt like a Queen Crab. I'm literally stuffed to the gills and my man is happy too. He got the Cajun Crab and Shrimp. Their portions are big and worthy of the $. Will come here at least once a month from now on. Highly recommend.
Quantum
Got a poke bowl here, staff are very nice, store is a bit crowded with products everywhere but that’s okay, more of a grab and go spot then to eat in. The spicy tuna taste great and the spicy salmon also tasted great but I prefer the spicy tuna they had there.
Robert Freiberg
These folks deserve your business. The portion was big. The quality was above average. I had a delicious meal. Service was prompt and kind. They hit it out of the park.
Anna van Wesep
This place is top notch. You’ll find all of your fish needs here- we needed yellowtail collar, which is an unusual ask and hard to find. We also tried their shoyu, tuna poke, and uni. The staff was friendly and speedy despite their lunch rush crowd.
Logan Shelagowski
Scallops, tuna, and crab oh my! Seattle Fish Guys is absolutely worth a stop. Poke stacked high with perfectly cooked rice on the side all for a pretty reasonable price.
Jo Huang
I was so excited to try this place because I loooove uni and poke. Unfortunately, I didn’t love the flavor of the poke and feel I’ve had better elsewhere. The fish does taste fresh. We got the spicy salmon (not much flavor) two orders , the avocado tuna (just tasted like mayo :(), and the salmon spicy mayo one. I loved their sides of seaweed salad and crab.
Unfortunately they didn’t have uni. We also got salmon croquette ( great crunch but I personally thought the filling was too Fishy and salty) and lihing gummy (yum).
I would come back to try the uni... but I’m sticking to my regular place for poke sadly.
Parking is super convenient. There’s a lot and underground garage. There seems to be a ko5 of people so you might love it. But since my favorite place has unlimited toppings, I’m going to frequent that place. Onward goes my search for poke that can top my fave.
Barbara Russell
Seattle is supposed to be known for their seafood and this is the only spot that I go to when I'm craving some. Unfortunately I'm allergic to most fish, but I can eat shellfish (shrimp, crab, lobster). Weird, I know, but at least it's the good stuff haha!
Jordan Ashton
Best Poké spot in greater Seattle. If you like spicy, the spicy tuna slaps. Combo that with the crab and seaweed salads and you have a brilliant low carb meal to die for <3.
Benja
Great fishmonger if you’re in Cap Hill/Central District and you don’t want to go downtown. Fish prices are comparable to Pike Place. Quality is as good if not occasionally better. Their grab-and-go sashimi bowls are delicious and cheap. They often stock fresh flower bouquets and bare essential vegetables like tomato’s, onions, etc. Parking can be difficult, but there are sometimes spots in the underground garage.
Carol K
Seen my friends ate at this place a few times so we decided to go try it too! The guy behind counter was very nice and friendly. He was patient too. Took us a bit more time coz it was our first time there. We tried some oysters and picked 4 things to eat with rice and seaweed salad. Big portions! Flavor was very good and spicy tuna poke is definitely more spicy than most poke places and I like it. It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside. There are few tables inside and few outside. Lots of seafood for sale there. We went back 2nd time and bought 4 small tubs take out. 1/2 lb each.
Yna V
Really great food. Having never been here,I was really excited to be here, I heard about this place from watching Mikey Chen. I felt like the female workers were not friendly or helpful when I asked questions about the place or food. It felt like it was an inconvenience to them to answer my questions, with this type of experience it makes it hard to wanna come back in the future.
Ken
Their salmon sashimi was very fresh, best quality. They had unique stuff as well. You should try the smoked salmon belly and kama (hamachi jaw). Super juicy meat.
Kev Fong (Kevy)
(IG: KEVIFONG) Vancouver Resident here. One of the best Poke Spots ever! The portions are huge and the fish is delicious! Worth!
I usually visit Seattle Fish Guys on the way home to grab some Poke for the family. Their service is excellent, they offered me ice packs to make sure it didn’t go bad.
Richie Magpayo
Clean, clean and clean. When you have an establishment serving food and selling raw ingredients on-site, you want to see the place clean and orderly. For the Fish Guys, its a check and check.
The place is bright and inviting. There's several tables and counter set-up for those deciding to dine in and immediately enjoy their poke bowls and chowders.
The prices are reasonable, the food tastes good and the staff are friendly. If you want no fuss, fresh poke or just shopping for seafood, the Fish Guys is your place.
Brian L
Seafood lovers, rejoice! You will find fresh seafood from salmon to shrimp at this corner shop / restaurant. All of the seafood that you order to eat will be picked from the counter, so you will get the freshness into your mouths and your stomachs.
A lot of people seemed to order the various poke bowl options they had. I'm not really a raw seafood person, so I opted for clam chowder and prawns ($10 for 5). I also saw big dishes of rice, veggies, and seafood coming in for other people after I made the order.
It is a bit difficult to discover out all of the options available to eat, so take your time. The menu on their website might not feature everything they have to offer. It would have been great to have a comprehensive menu, so I felt slow in ordering compared to others.
The clam chowder that I ordered was OK with bits of clam and potatoes to bind it together. Not as good as the clam chowder on Pike Place Market. The prawns were large and were served with some ginger / soy sauce, which was good because they were a bit bland by themselves. Sprinkling on some Old Bay seasoning would haven been wonderful. The heads are pretty juicy inside so be careful when you peel them. They can squirt back at you.
If I lived near here, I would come here once in a while to get some fresh seafood and make some soup at home. :) They have overnight shipping available, but it could be risky during the heat of the summers.
It was busy around noon on a Sunday, but there is some limited outdoor seating available.
My Huynh
Amazing and always fresh tasting. Love the meals of the week they are doing during the lockdown. Love the spicy poke and the seafood plate they do. I think the price is fair.
Steven
Fantastic food! Although the choices are limited compared to other poke places, Seattle Fish Guys' simple yet amazing flavor more than makes up for it. The portion of protein is substantial as well. Will definitely return in the future for more!
Remo Dela Cruz
Great seafood, awesome prices. First time I heard about the Fish Guys was through Youtuber Mark Wiens. Definitely had high expectations about this place because of that. Ordered a Poke sampler which tasted great. They have about 8 different types of Poke when I came to include a scallops poke which I have never tried before. Also tried their Hamachi Kama which tasted awesome. The staff was also great as they treat you like family. Highly recommend this place if you love seafood.
Joon Park
Great as usual. Fresh and tasty. People can be more mindful to keep social distancing while waiting in line. I had a dad holding a kid who was way close to me, and the kid was not even wearing a mask. :(
Matthew C
Great poke. The staff are very helpful and the store has a great setup for physical distancing and keeping things moving. I bought some sushi fish as well and they were very helpful in cutting me a piece that was the right size.
Jeff Y
I usually order poke when I go to this place, but this time I tried the special deal (Dungeness crab and shrimp). It was so fresh and delicious! Amazing arrays of fresh seafood. The smoke salmon is also amazingly delicious.
Cesar Anthony Viralta
This place is like no other. Fresh, I really mean fresh, fish and seafood! Everything was cooked and presented beautifully by Sal. He's very proud of what he has to offer, as he should. His accomplices, I mean coworkers, are very attentive and knowledgeable, just ask away. I believe they also do catering, well, I wouldn't be surprised. Their Poke is on point and reasonably priced. Sashimi is fresh and full of taste. Shellfish, the freshest I've had in a long long time. This is definitely a must go. Bring the whole family!
PS. I'm literally drooling while writing this review.

Fantastic fresh fish market with counter serve offerings and sitting area. Helpful and friendly staff. The Spicy Ahi and Salmon Poke were chunky, delicious, and wonderfully flavored. Highly recommend their Hamachi Kama (Yellowtail Collar) as well. Look forward to trying their sashimi and grilled fish plates!
Roger Faustino
This is the place to be for some super fresh fish!! Let's get right to it! The poke' is some of the BEST in Seattle. These guys are straight from the heart of Hawaii and they brought the flavors of the Aloha state and they are serving it up a platter, a lunch bowl, or a pound at a time! Outside of the amazing.
Freshness of the seafood and mouth watering flavors of their stable shoyu tuna or the other crowd favorite the spicy salmon poke the seafood offering is guaranteed to be the best you've ever had. The people working here are awesome. I felt right at home.
If you're near by you must stop by and grab a bit to eat here. Best yet they have tables and a seating area to enjoy your poke'!!!
Chris F
Honestly, probably the best poke I've had yet in Seattle. Unfortunately, I haven't quite tried enough places to say definitively. I can say, however, that the food quality here is very high and I was happy with the fish for the most part. The only really disappointing item for me was the spicy tuna because everything else hit so close to home. I'll definitely try to come again now that I know what I like here and we'll see if the experience bar is raised by that.
Brian S
Never leave hungry! Sal, Des, Ian and the whole gang always take food care of everyone who walks thru the doors. Let them know if you're a newbie and they'll show you how it's done!
Justin Anderson
Bottom lines first: authentic, absolutely delicious poke served in a seafood market setting by knowledgeable and super friendly staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Recommended to go here a poke fanatic. The food here is incredible. Cool setting in a fish market meets cafe. Order at the counter where you can see all the poke and salads in front of you. I went for the traditional two fish (tuna and salmon) poke bowl with seaweed salad and white rice. My buddy went with the Lau Lau and 1 fish poke special.
The poke was as good as it looked and as it was expected to be. In every bite there was the perfect mixture of sweetness, spiciness, tartness, and of course, umami. The fish was marinated beautifully, and the quality was impeccable. The rice, to top it all off, was well cooked and paired well with the fish. Adding the remainder of your rice to the leftover marinade is definitely recommended to sop up all those great flavors.
We were intrigued by the scallop poke, which Neither of us had tried before so the guy offered us a sample. We were definitely impressed! Supposedly the scallop poke is a Seattle Fish guys exclusive! We ended up ordering our food to eat at the market, and ordering extras to take home. We also tried the Tako (octopus) and spicy tuna. Everything was phenomenal and we will be back again and again.

Great food. Only giving a 4 star because I noticed I got charged $26 a pound for scallops but it should have been $16. Will definitely go back for scallops the next time I'm in Seattle.
Dumplings122 Shanghai
This not so hidden gem, looks deceiving when you first enter but it's friendly service and quality of food speaks for itself. Generous portions , very fresh seafood selections. The crab cakes are loaded with real crab meat, the poke selections are very tasty , especially the scallops version. Miso black cod is marinated very well. Definitely one of my favorite eateries when im in Bellevue/Seattle area.
Sam Grose
Good god what a great place. I came in on a rainy tuesday for comfort food, and had my mind blown. 4 sea urchin for $10, and an amazing bountiful unagi don with seaweed salad. Everything tasted incredible. See you in a week, you beautiful shop, you.
Oh they also sell top grade salmon roe for $65 a pound, and tons of amazing poké. I was so tempted.
Nami N
I heard this place have a good poke. So I invited my girlfriend to came in noon.
Parking lot is under the same building and check in the retail parking included Seattle Fish Guys.
There are outside tables and chairs.
I chosen two poke options ( from Shoyu Tuna, Salmon, Tako, Scallop ) for Shoyu Tuna & Scallop $2 +. Includes of white rice or brown rice and side salad for seaweed.
(from Mac salad, Seaweed salad, Squid salad or Kimchee).
I liked freshness of Tuna and good size of Scallops but the salty rice disturbed me a lots. The sprinkle on the rice was too salty and ruined everything... I couldn't eat it. I took home and created leftover, added extra rice, and added soy-sauce w wasabi to shoyu tuna, and added ponzu(yozu soy-sauce) to scallops. Delicious!
My friend ordered Crab Sub and Lobster bisque. Crab Sub filled with fresh crab meat, Japanese mayo, Sriracha, green onion on a toasted bun. Yum!
Lobster bisque is OK.
I will coming back and ask no seasoning rice next time.
Harvey Li
Came here for smoked salmon but got distracted by everything else they had. The tuna avocado poke was good. They were generous with the kimchi side and the furikake rice too. The crab and shrimp were good, but I wasn't a fan of the seasoning. Squid salad it came with was delicious too. We got packaged smoked salmon home, but the sample was delicious too. Tender but also have a body, almost like ham. I'm definitely coming back for poke, salmon, and unagi.
R Raw
Killer smoked salmon belly donburi & Mac salad. I would have appreciated a little less doneness, but it wasn't dry or anything. Poke bowl with tako salad was excellent. King crab panini was exceptional, ESPECIALLY dipped in the clam chowder. This could be a staple every time I visit SEA.
Phonsomchith Attanaphone
I've visited Seattle multiple times but this was my first time going to Seattle Fish Guys. I had the tuna & salmon poke w/ white rice. It was so fresh & so good. Before my first trip to Seattle, my friend told me to try the smoked salmon belly. I didn't get it but my friend did. He let me have a taste. All I can say is that is ridiculously good. The best part is they ship their seafood. I ordered a bunch a smoked salmon belly for family and friends to try. Ordered it Monday. Flew home Tuesday. Arrived on Wed. Awesome food and fast delivery. Can't say great stuff about this place. Will be making sure this is part of my plans anytime I visit again.
Andreas Kasprzok
I usually get poke here whenever the urge strikes. Quality seemed to be a bit variable for a while but seems they got the kinks worked out again.
Haven't found a better poke place in that area yet.
sarah c
I came here with two other people and we ordered the sample lunch. There was enough food for six, easily. We were all SO full and was completely blown away at the price. Everything came to only $33!! The sashimi was fresh. Great to have all the different types of poke actually taste different. Get yourself the grilled hamachi collar too. Although this place is a little further out from the popular tourist destination, that’s exactly what makes this place worth it. 10 min drive from the markets and you don’t need to battle the crowds. Your wallet will thank you too!! Highly recommended.
Random J
First time trying this, a friend brought me here and we had a poke bowl. Everything is so fresh, loved the food and options they had here.
Jimmy Si
The fish and seafood in this place is top notch. They smoked all kinds of fish and different styles. I got the Hamachi collar and some salmon to go.
I got their Sherwin special with the snowcrab, ikura and local uni. All rich and fresh on a bed of rice.
Also got their scallop and tako (octopus) poké. It was amazing and real fresh.
They have plenty of other items for sale like fresh sashimi and other cured items. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for fresh seafood/fish/poké.
Jon Adriatico
Wonderful fresh fish, great flavors and selection. Seems always busy. Helpful and friendly staff.
EUGENE
HAWAII. OHANA. 10 STARS. Good price for a very generous amount of fresh fish. $15 for 2 proteins, +$2 for scallops. Got 2 takeout poke bowls, one with white rice and kimchi, the other with brown rice and seaweed salad. Tuna poke had a mix of fresher and older looking fish, but they all tasted fresh drizzled with their house sauce! Scallop was cooked well, and blended well with the sauce along with small cucumber bits. Salmon was SO creamy, and spicy tuna was a bit too spicy, but a very flavorful spice, not a painful one.
Great store vibes with very well staffed kitchen.
Will go here everyday if I can!
S Jones
Fresh Tuna Poke with seaweed salad AND hot white rice was delicious! Gotta know what you want ahead of time if the line is long...things move pretty fast once you’re in the door and placing your order.
Joanna Sylwester
Really good fish and awesome people. It is absolutely packed when you go. I found the poke to be decent but not as good as my expectations given all the hype. Really excited to try their smoked oysters.
Hae Lee Cho
The best seafood ever! Uni was epic and sashimi plate, squid salad and oyster were amazing! Service is very fast and staffs are kind.
Nikita R.
Normally I'm neutral about fish, but this place is so great I could eat here 3 times a day. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent: all cowders, poke bowls, salmon jerky -- literally pick anything they sell and I'm pretty confident it will be amazing.
The staff is fantastic! The guys are so nice and have a great sense of humor, it's always great to come back.
Really glad to have the place in the neighborhood.
Ward Williams
Great place for good sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese/Hawaiian fare. $15 prepackaged chirashi (assorted sushi on rice) bowls. Unagi (baked eel) bowls on rice for $19. Sukiyaki beef on rice for $6 if you're looking for something cheaper. Poke bowls around $15ish. Portions aren't huge, but it's good quality and on par with other sushi places!
Michael CO
Come here for some of the freshest seafood the pacific has to offer. I mean just look at the photos. I wish I lived in Seattle and if I did, I would live close to Seattle Fish Guys and eat here everyday. Tip: ask for a freshly cleaned and opened uni, its an extra but worth it. Also sample the poke and don’t forget to add extra furikake on your rice for umami. You’re welcome.
Zane Boren
Really good poke. You get a lot of food for a good price! Might be the best deal in Seattle! I liked the spicy ahi tuna. The heat builds. The Hokkaido scallops were also very good.
Cicero Delfin
Fresh and good, but the service needs to be a bit gentler. A woman in front of me was ordering and it was clearly her first time there so she had her poke choices ready. After that, person assisting just kept repeating “side salad?”…. More frequently and rudely without an explanation.
Listen, i get this place offers multiple items and services, but if you are ordering, the signage is NOT easy to navigate. It probably would have been better to let her know the side salad options at the beginning.
If your signage/menu is not easy to navigate on the customer aide, the service side has no right to assume a person will understand the process upon first entering the space.
Ryan Marino
Wow. This place is amazing. We tried a bunch of stuff but the Clam Chowder was the stand out item for me. Amazing! They also have fresh food to go and some desserts. A must if your in the area.
Marcela Gómez Sixto
Once we arrived in Seattle, this place was on the go-to list. We weren't sure if it was going to live up to the hype, but this place is pretty amazing. Yes, get the smoked salmon belly. We never had it prior to coming here and that along with the salmon and tuna poke hit the spot. Definitely will be hitting this place up when we are in Seattle again. Enjoy.
Hajung Yoo
Delicious, well priced, generous portions. As a visitor I was looking for a meal I cant get on the East Coast and I found it! I recommend sharing a poke bowl between two people as you really get a lot.
J. Stephen Lee
Great store/spot to get seafood, poke bowls, snacks, and drinks.
Victor Szalvay
I'm thankful this place is so close by me. What's not to love at this place? Great fresh seafood market, amazing prepared meals, and a friendly and authentic staff. If you like fresh poke you need to check this place out. Their salmon, ahi, and octopus poke are out of this world. Fresh and seasoned to perfection. Never a weird fishy taste, never over-powering. Outside of Hawaii, this is the best poke I've had and it is without a doubt the best in Seattle.
Griffin Runyon
The fish quality is fantastic, the people are genuine, kind and treat you like a friend. This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle hands down. If you want a poke bowl, crab cake or just a really good piece of fish to cook at home, this is the place to go.
double chou LI
A bit pricey but you will get huge portion of super fresh fish. Highly recommended
Alex Nguyen
Great place for poke! Fresh and delicious. I was disappointed that they ran out of seaweed salad and furikake but overall was a good experience!
LMY
So so good. Get the assorted poke sampler. 9 different types of poke for 35 bucks. Can feed 4 person it's so good omggg
Tariq Mufti
Cozy little place with amazing selection of seafood, both ready to eat and pack -to-go-and-cook. I would highly recommend the spicy salmon poke lunch. Amazing. Plan to try some other choices in the next few weeks I am here in Seattle.
Robin Castro
Some of the best poke I've had since I was last in Hawaii. Unexpected find for me when I visited Seattle. Fish is fresh and there are lots of choices.
Qingqing Xiao
Best seafood place in Seattle!! I’ve recommended this place to all of my friend.
I love the unagi bowl so much, it tastes great, comes with a big portion and it’s NOT expensive at all.
Philip Brown
Incredible lunch x3! The crab and chowder sandwich was out of this world. Poke was excellent and the fresh fish we brought home was great. Will be back with frequency.
Jennifer Leinweber
This place is awesome! While visiting Seattle I had to get some dungeoness crab cakes - this place delivered! We also got a tuna poke dish, ate there and loved the busy local feel, the variety of options to eat there or take away. Super friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff.
Max Soi
A fish store that also sells ready to eat food. Fresh seafood and generous portions for the poke and sashimi. Brown rice was well made. They have daily specials as well. I got 4 fish tacos for $5 including avocado. Everything’s really fresh and well priced.
Nathan Lu
Unfortunately I was feeling sick when we got here, but my whole family came and loved it! They serve poke with your choice of brown rice or white rice and a side. I got kimchi and some family members got their Mac salad. I could only stomach a few bites but the rest of my family loved it too! Great portions, deliciously spicy kimchi! There's also a free parking garage.
pamela billedo
The quality and generous portion of the seafood was excellent! Salmon pokebowl was delicious, my favorite part was the generous helping of furikake. My brother enjoyed spicy salmon and scallop pokebowl.
Downside, there is a small selection of poke to choose from.
Karen Kang
We ordered unagi bowl and shoyu tuna with brown rice. Tuna was very fresh and we were surprised by the portion amount.
Very satisfied overall!! will definitely order again next time. :)
Nicholas Kong
Really good poke. A shame that you can only get one side but the marinated fish is awesome. Spicy tuna is a lot spicier than we imagined but you should definitely try the scallop poke and the squid salad!
Note that sea urchin season is from Oct to Nov
Avocado Black
2nd Edit: they never fail to amaze me!! Tried their miso tuna and PNW salmon, both are amazing! Their portion size is more than enough, I end up being super full every time. Favorite poke place in town hands down!
Excellent poke experience. Workers are very friendly and they have a wild and fresh selection of seafood and Asian goods. I’ve been visiting this place regularly and it never fails to amaze me. 10/10 recommend!
Anna Champassak
The best oysters I had! Must try their smoked salmon belly and spicy tuna poke! They have outdoor seating too!
Daran Thach
Here's to an amazing family owned fish market!
Having the restaurant included is having heaven's bathtub in your corner. Absolute great quantity for the price. I bought the brown rice platter with scallops and spicy salmon, and after 1 bite, I felt like I was eating seafood heaven.
Ruth Li
Incredible spot for your poke or sashimi fix. They give more protein than rice! And price are very fair.
Tzu-Chi Yen
The best poke place in the US. I hope they can exist forever!
craig lee
My first time here! Been wanting to try SFG's for a while...We had the sampler platter of Poke' 8 different items with Rice and furukaki on top. All the fish was so fresh and tasty!! We also had a bowl of Clam Chowder which was very good also!! Sal and Des keep up the great work and quality!! 5*
Lala Reyes
The poke is so fresh tastes amazing!! We usually get the poke for two rice and the macaroni salad with hamachi collarbones! Yummmm
Cathy Rizo
My official favorite poke!! I got the scallops and spicy tuna with mac salad...so good! A must try place in Seattle for sure! Also they give huge portions for cheap..2 poke meats, mac salad or kimchi or squid salad, rice for $13.
Frank Liu
I really enjoyed the sushi there and all the options. Really high quality seafood! Highly recommend!
Lucy Chai
Such generous poke portions and so delicious. They don't skimp out on spicy levels and they serve it Hawaiian style with lots of fish + rice + salad. Their oysters are also really good, though confusing - my pic shows the oyster shooter which is just oyster with sauce haha. Long lines during peak times and not much space to sit is the only drawback.
Mayumi K
The people were so nice and the seafood was absolutely fresh and beautiful! I had a miso marinated black cod with rice and spicy fried tofu. The dish reminded me of home cooked meal in Japan. Thank you!
Amy George
They've got all the sushi makings you could possibly want! So fresh!
Wesley Chau
The staff was great and the food was very fresh.the meal was much cheaper than I thought it was going to be.
Lee Hung Nguyen
Great place for poke, pre made tasty seafood and you can even pick up a large chunk of sashimi ready to eat at home! The eat in portion is massive! I couldn't even finish. Good value.
Mark Wiens
Awesome family run seafood restaurant and take-out. All good, but don't miss the smoked salmon belly!
Christina Cluff
Excellent variety. Delicious poke and hot tapas! Not to mention great Customer service.
Serina Gee
Very generous and extremely tasty fish. The rice would definitely be the weak point - it's just plain rice sprinkled with a little furikake seasoning, but the fish more than makes up for it.Tastes extremely fresh and quality. I especially like the squid salad and avocado tuna. You can get half and half for more variety.
Tay Jones
The service was amazing..... but the flavoring was off. But DEFINITELY recommend the mac salad
Carrie Lai
Heavenly! They have abundant fresh seafood. We tried a “small size” combination poke for a party of 4 and the order was sufficient for 8 full grown adults. Everything was so fresh and yummy. Owner and staff were extremely friendly. A MUST STOP POINT in Seattle.
Vincent Tan
come here for the fresh fish, stay for the ambience. love love love these kinds of shops.
Fabo War
Its great food for a great price! Great clam chowder as well.
Lan Zhang
The poke is very Hawaii authentic, warm brown rice with fresh ahi or salmon, eel’s is too sweet and salty to me
Robert G
probably the best place i ate on my pnw trip... probably one of the best places i’ve ever eaten. everything was perfection. i REALLY wanted to try their smoked salmon belly but they had already sold out by the time i got there.
Kyo To
Poki and smokes(both sermon and scallop) are my fav. Row Oyster is bit questionable compare to other famous oyster place. Overall, good place to enjoy seafood as deli style.
Lizz Callaway
Our favorite fish place in town. Always the best selection, super fresh, and all of the prepared food is so delicious. The uncles come out to check on us when we have lunch on the patio. Makes us feel like family and back in Hawaii.
Keiske Satake
Gets crowded for lunch, so come a bit early to beat the lines. This place has some food items, but looks more like a fish market than a lunch place; that being said, the salmon belly over rice was dang good. Definitely go for that.
Danny Chew
I’ve tried both FOB and goPoke, SFG has probably the freshest poke in seattle !
W H (Mike)
Best place in Seattle for (takeout) Sashimi. Good quality sashimi and price is reasonable. Try their Unadon and Salmon Charashi bowls as well. On weekends the lines can be quite long and parking limited so make sure to call ahead to order and prepay.
Jared Alfonzo
Fantastic for fresh seafood and poke. Staff are cool and the food is on point.
Wallace Tran
Best poke I've ever had, easy in and out, great texture and flavor on the fish, and also great quantity.
Bob Lee
Oh-so-fresh sashimi and friendly service. The reasonable price is just added bonus! This is the place to be if you like fresh seafood.
Cynthia
Best salmon jerky I’ve ever had. Wow. Good price and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Joona S.
Really fresh ingredients, good fish and products but sloppy otherwise. I understand there is a charm of that but not as cool as in YouTube videos. Beware, no bathroom and not even possibility to wash hands after making a mess with food
Tyler Wallace
hands down best place to get poke in seattle. Staff is friendly as well. I come in about once every week.
tiandra peele-butcher
5 stars are not enough . food was amazing . service was amazing . my first time visiting Seattle and honestly the best raw seafood I've ever experienced in life .
Miriam Leung
Came here because of Mark Weins recommendation - didn't disappoint. Very generous portions of poke, and clam chowder was a flavor bomb.
Célia su
That's fresh and delicious ! You need take out food, but you can eat outside tables . You also can online order to fast choose.😍😍❤️ …
Rebecca Higginson
Spicy and delicious! Our dish from Seattle Fish Guys did not disappoint! Loved the casual atmosphere! Will be coming here again.
Nataly Pond
Very delicious and tasty food. My husband and I come here again and again, always fresh fish. We are enjoying.
lydia mukai
Besides this place being the one stop shop for good poke, they also have a great selection of other seafood items like smoke fish (salmon, halibut), crab and you can even find smoke fish dip. The staff is also friendly and very helpful
Jacob Alexander
Delicious food here, especially loved the crab salad
David White
Fantastic, fresh poké! Enjoyed a few oysters, scallops, salmon, and octopus.
Francis C
Ive been to many poke places but this place is handsdown the best one I've ever had. Scallop was the bomb
Anong Weeranantawet
Fresh Seafood HQ! Seattle is so fortunate! Several kinds of Poke and side options to choose. For a beginner, start with a sample platter a size small size is $40, it’s the nest $40 you spend on poke and get to enjoy a bit of everything. Staffs are incredibly helpful, attentive, understanding and sweet! Parking is limited but nothing good comes easy! A piece of eel is $15.95 WoW What a value! Will return very soon and try everything else. Such as Portuguese fish and rice hot dish
Jon G.
Great quality and priced reasonably. Had some poke and chirashi and would get again. We've had the "fish for days" weekly meal kit a couple times,, and that was great. Parking is very limited I'm the lot (1 space), so you might street park nearby.
Mr T
Never disappoints. This is one of our go-to fave poke places. Spicy tuna or salmon is amazing.
bernadette uilani domingo
...🤙🏽heard this place through "LOCAL"(Hawaii base)grapevine...you have my "thumbs-up"...Ahi shoyu/Seafood salad/Brown rice...tried "White Rabbit Ice Cream"🤙🏽
🤙🏽🙊🙉🙈❤️ …
Lingyan
Great price and great food. This whole box costs less than 20 bucks. The seafood are very fresh and well-seasoned. I love the ponzu sauce and sesame oil they put in the scallops. It might not look a lot but it’s actually quite a big amount.
Except the poke they also have a lot of Japanese style dry and fresh seafood and makes the whole store very appealing. They have free Japanese mochi style candy at the check out place on the day I visited.
The place is not very easy to find. Judging by the picture I thought it’s a larger place. But it’s actually a very small shop and basically not seats for dining in. And because it’s so small, it’s hard to line up for ordering. But don’t worry, you’ll be able to figure out a way through the chaos :)
Nero Ni
💯Fresh 💯Taste
This is the place I go for seafood every time. They have the best seafood in Seattle area👍 …
Shreyas Dhond
The food was sub-par and cold. The only good thing I ate there was the clam chowder. Rest of the food seemed not well seasoned (salmon belly, and Cajun crab and shrimp). I didn't get to try the black cod as it wasn't prepared. But the clam chowder was excellent.
Catarina Ly
Good food, chatty employees.
We ordered the unagi don and scallop and salmon poke. The unagi was good. The sauce was a little too sweet/too heavy for my liking. We got kim chi as the side and it was good. The salmon poke was decent. The salmon itself was fresh and good quality. The scallops were my favorite part and something I’ll definitely order again. We had mac salad on the side and it was okay. It was really peppery, which was different and interesting in a good way. The mac wasn’t sweet like some can be, which was a plus.
Justin Nguyen
My favorite spot for salmon poke. Staff is friendly and are very fast. Every time I have visited Seattle Fish Guys there has been a line. However, the line moves very fast and I am in and out in less than 10 minutes. The salmon poke is very tasty and the cuts are larger than any poke that I have had. This is the place I recommend all my friends and family to try if they are looking for great poke in the Seattle area.
Peng Zhao
Good little spot if you are in the area, very fresh but bit overpriced, not worth traveling for.
Ben Fuchs
Best poke i have had. Fresh, quality fish, and great portion sizes. Recommend this place every time a friend comes to visit. Can't go bad with the spicy tuna, spice salon, and squid salad combo. Can be a wait sometimes but it's worth it!
Rafik Awad
Tasty food and great variety of options. Crab sandwich is amazing and poke(spicy salmon + tuna) is very good! I think room to improve in having a menu or one spot showing all the options as every time I go in I see so many things but I am unsure what they are or where to look for the item's name/price. Also lately, there have been many flies in the entrance area...they may want to spray something.
Edmond Lai
Hands down the best seafood place. Fresh salmon, tuna, yellowtail, oyster, sea urchin, seaweed salad. Friendly staff and clean environment. Reasonably price, parking available at the back of the building.
Nashir Mohammed
Fresh seafood is a must when in Seattle and this place is reasonably priced with a hint of Tsukjii market vibes.
Traveling Foodie
Great place to have poke and a variety of things. Very fair prices and cool staff! I will definitely be back. I can totally see why this place has all these positive reviews. The poke is yummy but all their other stuff is delicious too.
Salmon pan-tempura breaded salmon fish
Crab panini- surprisingly great combo and generous amount of crab
Emily Oody
The best salmon and scallops I’ve had in Seattle!
Kimberly Pham
What is there not to love. This place is awesome! Located in the heart of Central District, fresh seafood, excellent place to hang out for lunch, HH or watching the game. They do offer beer and sake.
Very friendly staffs. If you're in the area check them out.
RazorJack911
Great food, good service, salmon biscuits were FIRE
Jeff Crisologo
Best fresh poke in Seattle and portions are big too.
chantelle tiya
good poke, seasoned well! the takeout portions could be slightly bigger for the price, but still great
Gerald Pickford
One of Seattle's best fish markets and seafood deli. It's no frills counter service dishes up the freshest and tastiest snacks and to-go seafood in the city. I highly recommend the crab sandwich, or the delicious poke selection.
Michael Giambalvo
Friendly place, great staff. Best poke I've had in Seattle - all their fish is amazing
Ron Rumbaoa
Large variety of poke and other precooked seafood. The poke was fresh and melted in my mouth. Pricing could be a bit lower but still worth it. Highly recommended!
Evgeny Kobylkin
a wonderful place, very tasty, fresh fish, the only thing I would like to wish is to put things in order on the windscreens and make a more accessible menu for the client
Brian K
Wonderful hole in the wall shop with a great variety of seafood and a 'make your own' poke option (which was fantastic - tako, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon were awesome). Also had fresh uni and oysters. Definitely stop in here.
JEONGMOON CHOI
Fresh poke place with various other fish options. We also tried grilled kama and it was very delicious!
Jimmy L
Our favorite seafood market. The seafood is always the best quality and price reasonable. We had the scallop and salmon poke. The salmon belly was soooooooooo goooood! Must try! Happy hour oysters were great too.
Supaporn Niphanphaisal
Small corner Poke / seafood shop, love the taste and people there. Always new items, keep going back. Favorite dishes are smoked Salmon Belly and spicy salmons. Also they offer to pack and ready for you to take on plane or send to other states.
louie galitan
Great local place. Best poke in town. Amazing hospitality
Jakob Lazzaro
A bit chaotic inside but the poke is amazing! Very fresh and filling. They also have a good amount of tables outside.
Jonathan Tran
I am so glad I found this place during my visit to Seattle! It was amazing and I highly recommend you try it.
Yiting Liu
Octopus and salmon are always my favorites, the seafood is fresh, and if you go late, you might give more fish
David Call
Hands down the best poke in Seattle and incredibly priced for the quality & quantity (they really pack in the tuna and salmon)! The quality of their entire fresh seafood case is fantastic and the family owned operation is super friendly. I have been going here for a couple years and have since left the central district neighborhood, however driving into Seattle for their poke is an easy choice for my family!
Stephanie Azarcon
Took forever to visit, we will be back. All of our poke was delicious and tasted very fresh. Healthy serving sizes for the price. Awesome desert options as well. Great parking downstairs as well.
Joe G
Now, the reason why this wasn't a 5 star is because of the swarm of flies outside the store while you wait on line to get in.
The food here is definitely a hit. I ordered a poke bowl with the spicy salmon, crab salad and thr mac salad. The salmon wasn't fishy at all and the flavor was on point. The rice was pretty good as well, though it did have a slight mushy consistency. Highly recommend for those who love a good poke bowl.
Shirley Luo
Good choice in different types of seafood but the best is the uni!!!
Zachary Williams
Had a stay poke bowl here. The salmon was fresh and I liked the squid salad choice as well! I'd love to try the rest of their stuff since I had heard so much praise prior to my first visit.
Melanie Forbes
Great variety of poke, fresh fish, and overall products, especially given how small the space is.
Aliyah Rich
Delicious food and everyone was so helpful! We got the salmon and shoyu tuna poke bowl and it was the best poke bowl that we have ever had! The quality of the fish was so good and fresh and the flavors were amazing! They have outdoor seating and free parking too!
Satu Nahkuri
We shared seven or eight portions among a group of seafood lovers, and every single one of them from ceviche to fried unagi was absolutely perfect.
Steve Nakaki
The Seattle Fish Guys are great, fresh seafood and a variety of goods from other vendors, like the lilikoi shortbread cookies from Patrick’s Cafe & Bakery! 👍
I had the shrimp cocktail which was fresh and delicious 😋. The cocktail sauce had a nice bit of horseradish! Highly recommend the Seattle Seafood guys for their fresh seafood! …
Thuy Tran
Salmon poke were ok but ahi tuna was so good!!
McKenzie Inoue
I love this place! The fish is always super fresh. The poke bowls are always good for dinner or lunch. The staff has always been extra helpful even when I needed little amounts of fish to do allergy testing with my baby.
You can eat there or get it to go. Do your taste buds a favor and try the smoke salmon!
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
Tried their 4 pack take home menu and loved it. The black cod was delicious. Gave our dog the cod skin. We especially loved the mochi donuts. You get a lot of food and it's a great deal. Can't wait to try their shrimp pad dish. Also can't wait until they're open for dine in again. I miss their delicious poke bowls.
Theodore Hellmann
The seafood here is out of this world. The sashimi is extremely good - one of the best in Seattle - and the selection of specialties like different varieties of lobster is really great. There’s always a line when I go and it’s always worth the wait.
Ziyad Dadabhoy
I can't stress how fresh and delicious the fish was here. We tried the tuna and salmon poke as well as the smoked salmon and some oysters. Everything was worth the visit on its own. Plus they had a Calpico dispenser for only $1 a cup. An absolute deal
ngan huynh
🤘The-best-poke-in-Seattle! I am literally in love with this place. Bang for the buck fishes! …
Cary Huang
Uni is the best. Spicy tuna and seaweed salad is delicious too.
SGMP
Lovely shop. Superb collection of fishes. Each of them is so fresh. Staffs are really helpful.
Stephanie Wong
This small fishmonger/Asian specialty foods store offers go-to dishes, or eat-out fish dishes on their patio.
Ordered the poke, smoked salmon belly, hamachi collar, and miso black cod rice set with a side (salmon and mac salad) for ~$60. Everything was AMAZING. If someone asked for ONE recommendation in Seattle, I would say this place over Pike's chowder! The fresh fish along with unique offerings truly elevates the seafood, in a way that celebrates being in a coastal city. The scallop poke was a unique taste, and the spicy Salmon poke was so chunky and generous I felt like I ordered a sashimi bowl! My other favorite was the hamachi collar, super oily and sweet, warm, tender and fresh. The others were also wonderful.
Gary Chow
Worth the trip for some of the best dish and seafood in Seattle! There's limited parking underneath the building or on the street. Study the menu while in line; scan the QR code posted on the windows. It's essentially counter service where you order on the left and then move to the right and wait at the cashier's to pick up and pay. Some orders might need longer prep and will be brought out to you if you eat on one of the two patios adjacent to the store. Portions are generous and the unagi and sushi plates seriously deliver on freshness and quantity. You get your money's worth here and will leave full.

BEST POKÉ EVER!!!
SO fresh and yummy. The fish is always delicious and so well-seasoned. My favorite poké combination is the salmon, white rice, and squid salad.
I used to go to Garfield (class of 2020! go Bulldogs!) and my friends and I would walk or bus here for lunch when we wanted a special meal. I even came in when I graduated. Whether you are a local or visiting Seattle as a tourist I would highly recommend coming here. The sashimi and desserts are also very delicious. Their employees are amazing too- I would come here every day if I could. My fave Seattle restaurant/fish spot!
Kevin Dugar
Very fresh so low season but still flavor with the ingredients that are add
EJ Baik
We came to try uni but it was not on the season but the poke was good and fresh
James Li
Only a few outdoor sitting. Not many side dish options. But pretty good flesh proteins.
Victoria Claravall
The best local seafood products and restaurant. The staff and owners are very friendly and wonderful. The staff have great customer service. The food there is soooo yummy if you are into seafood and poke! Great quality food.
Seo Yun Bang
I was craving fish this whole week and oh my god, their smoked salmon belly bowl really really hit the spot. The salmon was perfectly salty and soft and just so so good. I'm definitely coming back and trying their unagi bowl next.
Malia S
Absolutely loved this place!
Vic Hop
Great place to eat. I enjoy their bowls very much. Unfortunately, today was not my best meal. The mac-salad was a little too salty. Everything else, on point. I highly recommend picking up lunch or grabbing food for dinner. I will continue to support this business and you should give them a try if you haven't.
C B
Mayjah. I still rock with GoPoke but the quantity and taste at SFG is awesome too.
Vivian C
We had a great time dining here. The quality of their seafood is exceptional. We couldn’t find the menu walking in the place. I would like to order something from their menu next time. We just got the poke bowls this time. Will try eel with rice next time. It looks so delicious too.
Chan (我的世界 - My world)
$12 for poke. 2021. This is one of the most famous poke restaurants in Seattle. Location wise is not nearby any major area such as downtown or Pike place. That could be a good time, less crowded. And yet they are busy often but food were wonderful. Around $15 per dish and do fill us up and had some left over to take home. Try the tuna and eel so yummy.
Dan K
Oh man. This was our last food stop after 6 days in and around Seattle. We just stumbled upon this thanks to google and it was easily the best meal we had all week. My wife and I shared the tuna and salmon poke with squid salad and a crab sub. The amount of fish that came with our ~$16 poke was staggering. Easily the best poke I've had and the squid salad and rice seasoning were both delicious. We came for the poke and were more than satisfied, however when I saw the crab sub on the menu I had to try it. I'm not good at describing flavors, so the best I can say is that this sandwich blew me away. It was served on a small toasted bun, with large pieces of crab meat in what the menu describes as a Japanese mayo and sriracha sauce. This sandwich is almost indescribably delicious. The mayo compliments the crab perfectly and results in a fantastic buttery type of taste. If I could have rated this 8 stars I would. Food highlight of our vacation.
BlueComit
Great customer service and a good selection of fresh fish. The real draw is there poke selection. Good heaping portions and amazing flavor. The spicy tuna is fantastic, and the scallops are a must! Nice beer selection as well, mostly imports from Japan. Truly a must visit when in Seattle.
Leader Le
Wide selection of seafood. The poke was very good with warm rice and a side. The tuna tasted very fresh. A bit pricey but overall a good experience.
A P
Seems they've reduced the portion size and didn't put furikake on the bowl. 🤔😓 …
Stephanie Nam
Everything is so fresh and delicious! I always get a poke bowl when I come. They also sell other things that I don't see usually like guava cake and yuzu beer (both were amazing). I also got a super beautiful, fresh flower bouquet for just $10!
Ty PD
Epic poke bowls with options like Spicy Tuna / Salmon / Scallop pokes. Try the mac salad or seaweed salad as a side. Very good place for lunch & dinner. Limited operating hours & limited stock of the most popular sides. Be prepared to spend upwards of $17 for a bowl, but you get a lot of options and a ton of food with your order. Seattle staple for sure!
L Mau
They got that Gingah Spread Man! So good with poke. Miso butter fish is perfection.
Sean
Recently took a trip to Seattle. Blown away by this place. The scallops, spicy tuna and salmon, seaweed salad, all delicious and a hefty portion (from someone who can eat a lot). So sad that I only got to eat there once before we left :(
Kuan Peng
Really delicious poke. Traditional Hawaiian style.
Taylor Ishikawa
The best salmon poke I've had in Seattle. The quality of their raw fish is great, and it shows in their products. Tuna is previously frozen but still of good quality. Prices are very reasonable for their generous portions. I only wish that they were in a more central location!
Victoria Tom
The best quality poke bowl I've ever had at quite possibly one of the most decent prices for the amount you get! Must stop on my trips to Seattle. The fish is really fresh, the seasoning is just right without being overly salty, and the people are wonderful.
MV S
Absolutely my favorite place to eat in Central. I go here usually once a week. Love their shoyu tuna, and they always have awesome snacks and desserts. Also the best place to get ikura outside of a Euro grocery.
CW Fong
Best Poke I have ever had for sure. I have tried many different poke spots and none of them can compare to what is served here. Smoked salmon was awesome as well, just wish they weren't so far from my house!
Richard Gutierrez
I went here a few weeks ago, but I was running late and the place was about to close up. The guys here asked me what I needed even though the floors where already cleaned up and they where ready to go home. The got me 2 lbs of Salmon Poke and 2 lbs of tuna poke. They they where all leaving together joking around and just felt like a family like environment. The guys where all so understanding that I was late and was so patient to wait for me to finish my transaction.
They even gave me a card to order in advance just in case i was running a bit late or just to make sure it is not fully sold out. I use to live 3 blocks away from this place. They where always really great with my wife and I when we ordered anything from them.
The quality of the seafood is superb, the prices are reasonable and the people are amazing. I love this kind of small business model and the vibe that they exude. Once again thanks for being the best!!!
Zita Chen
Love love love this place! Generous portion and very fresh.
Sara Rubin
Great selection of fish, especially local/fresh options. The local halibut was great with a fish taco recipe. They also sell alcohol and have a small grocery selection. Looking forward to going back for the poke bowls!
Philip Poa
The oysters were delicious. They were served with a slice of lemon and a cup of cocktail sauce. The grilled unagi bowl was excellent also.
Spencer White
Hidden little gem in Seattle. Small restaurant but they have extremely great fish! Never liked clam chowder before coming here but they changed my mind. Also had the salmon pan and crab panini...twice! Local spot for fish we will also go to when in Seattle.
Harry Fong
The fish here was fresh and delicious. Close to places in Hawaii. The folks working were really friendly. They were sold out on uni and oyster and we went on a Monday morning. I believe this might have been because the weekend crowd took all the inventory. Next time I will definitely call ahead to see about the other items and also check out the the other types of poke.
Hao Z
Great food! But parking can be challenging.
Willis Harvey
Poke, oysters, and cuts of fish to take home were all excellent
Miae Aramori
Fresh fish! Poke is delicious and the smoked salmon is amazing. Just be prepared for a short wait since this is a popular place. It's so nice that there is parking onsite.
Phi d
Really good value here. We had the poke bowl, oysters and some fried collar. The collar was full of flavor. Oysters were fresh but a bit briny for me (I prefer the sweeter variety) and there are no options for that but I'd definitely get it again. The poke fish was definitely fresh and tasty.
Ken Wu
I expected a lot from the poke from the reviews I read. It was fine, a lot of fish, but could've used more sides and rice. Still, good poke nonetheless. Going to come back to try something else, hopefully I find something that'll make me add a star.
Stranger 574
Came in the shop around 1 PM on a Friday. It was busy. I ordered only food, nothing from the market—oyster shooters, crab sub, and sashimi plate. Two included sides were crab salad and brown rice. The main theme of this experience: could have gotten everything comparable but cheaper at a supermarket.
The (3) oysters were the worst, but I'll discuss them last. The saving grace of my meal was the crab sub. It was good, but not to the high level of expectations this place seemed to be getting. The sashimi plate was nothing special and could be picked up from a grocery store, at a better value. Moving on, one of the sides should have been called "imitation" crab salad, because shredded pieces of that stuff were almost all there were. The fakery became a bit overwhelming.
And, the 3 oysters at $6... It was their size that failed them; each (actual edible content; not shell) was about a US quarter or slightly more. Though, they tasted sweet and fresh. However, again, it'd have been possible to pick out oysters elsewhere at the same quality but cheaper/larger.
Daphne Wong
What a great place! Friendly service and so much great fresh seafood to choose from. The poke bowls were large and tasty. Everything was full of flavour and just blew our minds. You won't be disappointed.
Wilson Thai
We stopped in for some late breakfast/early lunch Poke Bowls. The high-quality ingredients were apparent right away. Got a few grab & go items as well to snack on and those were equally great.
Anita Thomson
I always eat here when I'm in Seattle. This is a Japanese/American fish market and restaurant and I love the food and service. There is a lovely outdoor eating area in addition to the inside tables and window/bar. I like the poke best but everything is good. Try the smoked salmon bacon.
Olivia Werner
One of our favorite places in the city! Fresh, delicious seafood you can take home but also, amazing poke and other great take out options. This past weekend they had a king crab panini that was truly incredible. We took home several fresh, local oysters, delicious salmon sashimi, etc. You can call for gift cards - FYI.
Eileen Ho
The young guy servicing us was very patient and very nice. Got the poke Salmon for One and a half pound for about $30. Also tried the poke tuna, it was sooooo good! The food is so worth the price, probably the cheapest in the country.
Deanna Marinello
Been to a few poke spots around the hill. This is one of the best. You can tell it’s super fresh and offers a lot of variety. The tuna is my favorite, and they had uni when I went!!! So good!!! It’s hard to find places that have uni like that! Highly suggest and fairly priced to boot! Parking is a little hard to find due to the construction, but they have a small parking garage attached just under the building. It will be the left turn before the light.
Belinda Gregory
OH MY GOODNESS!! We got to Seattle Fish Guys literally right before they got crazy busy.
Food: Hamachi Kama, Miso Butterfish, Shoyu Ahi Poke, Spicy Ahi Poke & Dungeness Crab Cocktail
Hamachi Kama & Miso Butterfish was cooked perfectly! And they do not skimp out on rice. Also, first restaurant I've ever been to that keeps Furikake on the dine in tables! The poke was super ono & super fresh. The crab was super ono too!!
Glad we took a drive to try this place! People if you want fresh local Hawaii style poke, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! You won't be disappointed! Happy Eating!!
Janine Chinn
Love Fish Guys! Always delicious and the people are always friendly :)
Gavin Crowell-Williamson
If you’re looking for poke with all the frills (crispy garlic, edamame, etc.), this is probably not the place for you. However, if you want a place with fresh, fantastic fish and generous portion sizes, you may have found your spot. The salmon was perfectly tender and well seasoned, the seaweed salad was crunchy and fresh, the staff were all super nice, and the spot was clean and inviting. Meant to take a pic, but ate too fast. For sure would recommend.
Michael Eng
Their poke bowls are fresh and delicious! Big healthy portions. The unagi bowl is also really tasty and they gave us an entire eel. Everyone is very friendly. There is an indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend if you love fresh seafood!
Nick L
I have been a frequent customer here. I think their quality of sea food is great and pricing is fair/slightly on the higher end. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because I had to wait over 30 minutes to pick up an order that needed to be done when I showed up. Sometimes things get pretty jammed up and apparently calling ahead to place an order doesn't help.
Glenn Primavera
Our experience at Seattle Fish Guy was peasant. Had the poki combo, clam chowder, and the Salmon belly with macaroni. All good though the clam chowder was a bit "soupy". I will try the eel next time.
Angelina L
Soooo good! I've only ever had poke in Seattle and Vancouver but this is some of the best poke I've been had. I love their selection! The salmon and scallop were my fave. I would 100% go back here. It's worth the Uber trip out of downtown Seattle.
Navin
When you want comfort food and a great bowl of poke, you come here. I always get to go for my hikes. The poke tastes great even if you are eating at home but to take it with you on a hike and eat atop mountain is the best feeling ever. Take a sake cup with you as well.
Rob W
Freshest fish, huge variety, cool atmosphere. Everything's tasty, dishes are creative, you can tell these guys are passionate about their craft. It's best if you order to-go, or Uber to and from. These guys do everything right, but everything else is working against them: there's no parking, they do have a parking lot but all the two spots which are always filled will get you towed, you'll end up having to park a few blocks down, and it is not a great neighborhood, parts of it are downright seedy. Once you get there there can be a line, they don't have a huge property or a lot of tables. But man these guys are so talented and I like the business they run so much, I hope that they invest resources into solutions to mitigate these external factors. If they didn't have to compete with their environment, this'd be an easy five-star review.
S Mayeda
It was just okay. I was disappointed especially because I heard good things about their Poke. We ordered the soy sauce, spicy tuna and octopus poke. The Poke was fresh but the taste was a bit bland. Could use more sesame oil and seeds.
Andreína Vivas Thomas
Way better than FOB Poke Bar. Also, the clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had.
Ollie Lune
Craving for seafood? You won't be disappointed coming here. They have everything-- I mean literally every seafood you can think off! You can have poke raw fish or you can buy per lb fish to cook at home. Also, their salads have really nice punchy flavors. The downside of this place is always busy and has long lines during lunch hours.
Mike Stine
Family favorite for lunch and great quality fish market. The staff are super friendly, the flavors are outstanding, and if the weather cooperates there’s tables out in the sun all summer. Plus, they’ve got desserts available from Patrick’s Bakery and Hood Famous!
Zack
The unagi bowl was really good. poke bowl was solid too.
wilson lam
Hands down my favorite poke place in the city - for the quality, quantity, and price point
Their poke bowls run anywhere from $13-15 and include one side and rice. All of their poke is delicious but I almost always go for either the unagi bowl or the scallop poke (which is a pretty rare and coveted favorite of mine); as for the side I'll typically get a smoked salmon mac salad because it's too good to turn down.
Between my roommates and I we will go at least once every other week 😂
Aiden M.
I was coming in here three times a week or more for poké. The fish is so fresh and well-dressed and only costs about $12.
The smoked salmon belly is a must-try, delectably unctuous and smoky, really filled my belly and made my day. I give max hype to this place.
Anna Cassell
One of the best fish places I’ve eaten at. Would recommend the spicy salmon poke and sashimi board. Probably not the best place if you don’t like raw fish, but if you do this is NOT TO MISS!
They also had some beer available, which was nice.
sam travis (samtravis)
Best poke in the city. Large servings for the price and they don't try to fill your plate up with cheap sides to make it look bigger. You get a heaping pile of excellent poke AND a giant side for like 14 bucks. I don't even understand how they can stay in business doing this but I love it.
Derek Oh
This place serves, in my opinion, the most delicious and authentic poke in the Seattle area. A plate lunch includes a side, lots of rice, and big scoops of poke for a reasonable price (for Seattle). Eating it definitely makes me think of Hawaii!
Travis Broyles
The food was delicious and the fish was super fresh. The staff didn't seem as if they wanted to be there and we're very rude. Otherwise, a great eatery.
Katie T
One of my favorite places to go. Fresh food, great quantity, and good pricing. The poke is so good, but I also love getting the garlic shrimp with rice. It’s a little market, so it’s nothing fancy, but the quality of great.
Vĩ Học Thi
An unforgettable experience for me in the morning lol. The poke samples were really good. So was the sea urchin. But that was so much for one person like me. Hope there would be options to get smaller meals for lower prices. Definitely will be back.
Terry Mclell
One of my new favorite spots for sure! Fresh and tasty, good value and friendly service. Just heard about this place and took coworkers to check it out and sampled almost everything..DELICIOUS! I also got crabcakes on my way out and pan fried them in a little butter ..omg..they were all crab.. so, so good! I'm already craving for more and am definitely getting more crabcakes for my party next week!
Christina Ashby
Yum! Have walked by many times when they were closed, made it today when they were open. Great selection, fresh, friendly service. Left with scallops, true cod, umilicious (sea urchin), and an amazing $10 shrimp cocktail! Sat outside and had the shrimp cocktail with my dog, he wasn't a fan, so was all mine! Large shrimp, wasabi & lemon I included in the grab and go. My dog was allowed in while we ordered and we respectfully sat out side, covered seating and clean. A new go to spot!
Bretton Finch
Great spot with very real seafood dishes both raw and cooked.
Has a lot of Japanese food like poke bowls and Japanese drinks as well. Many cooked options and more traditional American options are available as well for the less adventurous.
You may want to go in and grab a menu and decide what you want outside though as the place is small and generally very busy (plus it appears to attract a lot of regulars so it's easy to feel in the way or overwhelmed). There is limited seating inside and some outside seating.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Pretty sure they knew we had no idea what we were doing and went out of their way to help us feel at ease.😀
Patrick Lo
Excellent place for seafood. Lots of fresh market options and friendly service. The food is great and they have several varieties of poke. You can order by the pound or in a bowl with white or brown rice and a choice of side. The seaweed salad is a great choice. They also have a good Dungeness crab sub and hearty chowder.
You want to get here early if you want to get lunch. After 11 the line is pretty consistent for a couple hours. Seating is limited inside and outside.
Peter Andrews
The other day I bought the spicy salmon pokè bowl and it was phenomenal. Today I bought the crab sandwich and it was also phenomenal. These guys do it right over here! Thank you fish guys!
Trina Miller
We specifically wanted to try this place out for lunch and happy we did. Salmon poke with brown rice and seaweed salad, shoyhu tuna poke with white rice and macaroni salad and scallop poke with white rice and squid salad. Seafood is all fresh and rice is warm. I’d come back for a plate of salmon poke with brown rice and the squid salad, and a bowl of pike place chowder!
Brian Yong
Knowledgeable, friendly, fishy! Awesome display with lots of great seafood/related foodstuffs. Scallop poke is top notch. Everything I've tried is great, from shooters to crab cocktail. Ordered a bunch of oysters on the half shell for NYE and they were delicious and very fairly priced. Has a parking garage!
Theresa Mccoy
Fast and friendly service! Dungeness crab was a little pricey but it's locally sourced and sustainable their smoked salmon is amazing Must try when visiting Seattle!!!
Uyen Duong
Legit best poke I've ever had. I even liked it more than the one I had in Oahu. No fishy taste at all. Unique and delicious flavors.
Ellis Beckwith
My wife and I go there on Saturday mornings and share the Smoked Salmon Trio bowl for breakfast. It's a huge portion so it's a perfect size to split. This place has a great selection of fresh and smoked fish and seafood. Worth the trip.
P J
Really great Poke selection, and great price too. 2 scoops of Poke rice and 2 sides is less than $15. Super friendly staff is there to offer samples and a smile. I will definitely be going back
dawn sebastian
Great little spot for fresh poke and raw seafood
Tram Tran
Tried this place for the first time while visiting Seattle, the best poke in the area! The salmon poke i had with seaweed salad and rice and it was melt in your mouth delicous. They also had uni too, with the deal of 3 for $7. The deal might've been for that week but they'll always have postings of it right at the counter when you order. Definitely will come back the next time I visit.
John M
The Smoked Salmon Belly Bowl is insanely delicious. I don't know how they do it. The salmon is so fatty that it melts in your mouth. It is a bowl of goodness that will comfort you in your dreams.
DeVon Martin
Great food. Smoked salmon is excellent
jisung moon
Exactly what you want in a fish market/restaurant hybrid. The fish looked fresh, and they had a good assortment of seafood. I'm traveling from Florida, so I just got some of the food, like poke bowl, unagi bowl, and king crab panini with the chowder. All of it was fantastic very fresh. The eel was so much fattier and more delicious than the cheaper stuff you might find at mid/low tier sushi spots.
David Han
I was told this place had some of the freshest fish in town and I had to give it a go. First things I notice when I walk in is all of the Mark Wien items around the restaurant and I found that hilarious. But aside from that, just looking at the layout you can tell everything was super fresh. I also heard that the salmon jerky here is super good so I have to come back for a taste. I ordered the salmon poke with seaweed salad and its definitely some of the freshest poke i've had hands down. Very flavorful and not overpowering from any sauces or seasonings. I had a bit of tuna as well which was also very delicious. We also had an order the dungeoness crab that was sitting in a bath of a sauce that should be considered holy. It was one of the best crab dishes I have ever ate and all of the meat just slid right out of the shell. It is a bit pricey for the crab but I think it's worth it. I also noticed that they had unagi and that is one thing I have to come back for, aside from the salmon jerky, as the unagi displayed was huge and slathered with sauce. Gotta come check this place out if you love poke and other kinds of seafood as I do.
Dave Chin
Consistently great seafood and service. I typically grab a poke bowl and a beverage to eat there, then order a second item to take with me to-go.
Ask any one of the fish-mongers for a recipe & instructions on how to prepare any one of a range of fresh fish and shellfish.
Bradley Kim
I would say one of the best places for poke in Seattle, simple yet flavorful with great cuts of fish and other seafood. It's a little pricey compared to other spots but definitely worth the cost and a detour in my opinion, especially if you're trying to get a poke fix.
Renee Agatsuma
The fish here is amazing. I've had the halibut, cod, and coho. Wow! It was tasty. I've also gotten clams and mussels. I was pleased to find pickled herring. It's something my mom and I eat every year, and it's so good. So much easier than going to Ballard! (Also, thee halbut was former and better quality than what we had previously gotten in Ballard. So it's a win-win; better fish, no commute halfway across the city).
I'm so happy to have a quality fish market near me with pretty competitive prices to what you'd pay at Pike place! And absolute quality.
I have to try their sashimi sometime. I had some amazing sesame shellfish the other day that were to die for. (My friend bought them, so we didn't catch the name, but it was good (
Ashley San Diego
A variety of DELICIOUS seafood options, clean market and friendly service! Definitely a must try! Would recommend the items we tried: the Poke bowl with tuna and salmon, salmon and cream cheese bun, and the fresh schuckes oysters.
robert kern
Good was very good although you are going to have to wait depending on the time of the day
Dylan Plank
Great poke! The lady got the crab panini which was top notch as well.
jerry garcia
Really great spot. Each item has a bit of their own twist and is delicious. Crab panini, unagi bowl, smoked salmon belly, and a really distinct clam chowder last visit. Highly recommend.
Anthony Settle
It was my first time there and an older gentleman behind the counter must of read the look of confusion on my face. He helped he order, which made me feel welcoming sense I have anxiety. I told him I’ve recently moved down the street and had a great conversation with him. And that was just walking in lol. The food was wonderful! Which made my experience even better. Def will be back again
H S
This was our first time to Seattle Fish Guys but will not be the last.
Friends have been coming here for awhile and posting all of these great pictures so we had to check it out.
First of all the place is casual cool.. The staff is relaxed and very nice.
We ordered a few oysters, unagi, squid salad, seaweed salad, macaroni salad, ahi tuna, a sukiyaki bowl and took a big piece of smoked salmon home!!
We just wanted a variety of things to try and every single thing we had was so delicious. We are planning our return trip already to try new things. There are so many choices..
The only negative thing is they close at 6:30 pm.. so get there early!!!
Q. B.
Everything you try will be amazing. They are worth every penny. I love that I can just buy poke instead of having to purchase a full meal. My favorite is the spicy tuna but the regular tuna and salmon are delicious. They even have kimchi, octopus, seaweed and other salads. Try the salmon musibi and tempura shrimp or shrimp cocktail. You can even purchase raw seafood to take home and prepare yourself. The staff is always friendly and eager to accommodate.
Roula Gomez
Their poke was delicious!! I had the spicy salmon, very tasty and good portions.
Greg Anderson
Omg the poke here is some of the best I've ever ha . You need to try the scallops. They are like candy sea treats in your mouth and so tende . As a side you need to get the smoked salmon mac-n-cheese. Friendly and fast service as well. I was pleasantly surprised they had outdoor seating available during this covid tim . I'll definitely be back even though I live in Edmonds.
Ellie Tanaka
Love this place! Their poke is very, very good with awesome sides (particularly the Mac salad (with salmon) and the squid salad). Have never had tako (octopus) poke anywhere else and it was amazing! I have also bought cuts of sashimi to take home. The salmon sashimi was so fresh and delicious and at a great price.
Yamada Judo Dojo
The service is very good. Walk inside and the line starts at the end of the glass case with all the poke in it. Place your order then move down the line and pay. Fresh seafood. You have to try the smoked salmon too. Next time I getting the lobster tails. They were HUGE. Thank Sal, it was delicious.
Fiskerdoodle
Really fresh mussels for cheap. Though it was definitely not very organized.
Jack Palevich
Tasty Poke and other Japanese fish dishes. There are usually specials that are not mentioned on their web site or online ordering system.
Evan Kipnis
Great quality and fresh fish options! I enjoyed a sashimi plate and some poke with a great Japanese brewed Pale Ale. I look forward to my next trip to Seattle and a return to Fish Guys.
Z Sarj
Great fish and nice staff. Poke is not customizable but the fish is top notch. Usually get the Spicy Ahi with Macaroni salad. Usually around $14. Favorite fish spot in the city.
Charles Douglas III
Fast service and excellent food, this is a great lunch spot for fast poké and other asian grab-and-go eats. Great place to see a familiar community face mid-day, and lots of things to take home for desserts or dinner meals.
Mary Beth Elliott
Friendly staff, good seafood selection and great Poke'. I was even able to get some fresh flowers the day I visited. I mean how can you pass a place that will shuck oysters for you and you can get them to go
V RIC
Amazing food! Great customer service!
Mica Raymundo
Don't miss this place whenever you're in Seattle.
Julie Conrad
The freshest sashimi you’ve ever had! Come try Seattle Fish Guys if you are looking for high quality, authentic sashimi at an unbeatable price. Totally worth the drive/walk!
Hilary Masland
Without a doubt, our go-to place for fresh, fantastic seafood. We've had the poke and the sashimi, and we've grilled their salmon at home. Everything has been superb. Highly recommend!
Being Brian
Awesome, deserves the 4.7-4.8 very fresh food, high quality, fairly priced, not cheap but not overpriced. Worth coming back a second time, or even third time, enough said.
Wendy Kato
Owned by locals both Sal and Des grew up in Seattle. Sal and Ian have years of experience as fish mongers. You can't go wrong purchasing from this local business. Their eats or yummy. Poke bowls and chowder. The salmon poke is my favorite with the crunchy cucumber adding a nice texture. YUM!!!
y law
Fantastic place to get sushi and poke catering, or a COVID take-out dinner. We got hamachi poke, ahi poke, another tuna poke, ikura, cocktail prawns, and uni in the shell! They had lobster, too.
Pat Pertusot
Excellent oysters! Amazing sashimi. Excellent service and a lot of varieties! The have crabs, clams, mussels, nice poke! I recommend this place for sure!
Peter Wiant
Really great seafood spot. I love their clam chowder and warm fish cakes.
Maitha Lindberg
A place that reminds me of home as soon as I park the car in their garage! The smoked salmon belly, cajun kahuku shrimp, uniquely flavored furikake flakes, individual ube cheesecake, the freshest fish you can find in Seattle (each tag tells you where the fish was harvested and its journey to the market), poke scallops (I never knew you existed until I stumbled upon this little market in Seattle), Japanese import beers, oh...the list goes on, and each one flavored as if I am in Honolulu (except the fish is less expensive and the salmon, very fresh--try the poke salmon, you won't regret it). This has been a stop for me when visiting friends and family want a taste of fresh seafood with a Hawaiian influence. The staff are so friendly and fast when I make my order and I feel just, simply, so full and happy after I leave this market/restaurant. Worth a trip, despite the ongoing detour and road repair in the past few months.
Chinonyerem Chijioke (Dr. grayce)
Great customer service which made my day will definitely be back!!!!
SN Dickens
Hybrid seafood market/ poke shop. They have a variety of seafood, and both clam and salmon chowder. Their chowder is top notch and a must for those misty Seattle days. Sashimi here is tasty and fresh and a great value. Poke was a lilttle on the spicy side for the one I tried but was very good!
Alexandria Lee
Their ordering online needs some readjusting. Create food and service everytime.

Seattle Fish guy never disappoints. They have great fish selection but we typically go there to dine in. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh.
Why go eat sushi when you can experience a whole new level of fresh.
Our favorite is the unagi bowl, yellow tail sashimi, assorted poke and macaroni salad. We try to eat new things their everytime we're nearby. From China Town it's only a 6min drive.

This is the first time I felt the need to exceed the rating limit. I wish there were more stars to give. I absolutely love this place. From the first moment we stepped in, there was a warmth of sincere welcome that enveloped us. The store is beautiful and everything is displayed to maximize its appeal. It is mainly a fresh seafood store, and they carry a wonderful variety, but the prepared foods that they have will knock your socks off. There are tables and counters to eat in or they will pack for take out.
The owners, Sal and Desiree are as nice and friendly as its possible to be. There may be nobody else in Seattle that has Sal's credentials in fresh seafood purveying. He was born and raised into it, and has worked in and ran the best seafood markets in Seattle. You can just feel that this store is the culmination on all his knowledge and passion.
The Poke Bowl that we got was the Salmon and the Tako. They use absolutely the best quality fish and you can taste the difference. The quantity that they pack in is overwhelming. It can easily feed two.
The sashimi was wonderful. It consisted of Salmon, Hamachi, and Tuna. I was lucky enough to get the belly of the Hamachi and it was like butter in the best way possible. You may go sit in front of the most reknown sushi chef who can dazzle with knife skills and conversation, but it simply comes down to quality of the fish, and this was quality sashimi.
The Clam Chowder was the best. It was rich and full of sweet clam meat and delicious potatoes. I told my wife that I thought it was better than Pike Place Chowder's, and when we found out that Pike Place made it for them, I was red-faced chagrined.
We had enough leftovers for another wonderful meal. In case I didn't get it across, we love Seattle Fish Guys.

Ordered from Seattle Fish Guys via Uber Eats dozens of times, but quality has been inconsistent as of late. 5 stars at it's best , but occasionally inedible in terms of fish quality. Clam chowder is also hit and miss.

Sal and Des always does a great job at providing great eats! Ever since the early days hosting grub at their Parents Beacon hill home. A pleasure to see they are doing well!

Great first poké experience. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Oh the poké is out of this world! Amazingly fresh fish!

The BEST darn macaroni salad I've ever had!!!!! And who would think of a crab meat sub but these guys -- AH-MAZING!!! It's real crab meat NOT imitation. Fresh seafood, great service and, free parking. You've got to at least stop by.

This is what poke is like in Hawaii except that you can get it in Seattle. The poke sampler was too much for two people to finish! Highly recommend this place if you are craving for Poke or Hawaiian treats.

I come for sashimi platters for dinner parties. Call ahead, specify a dollar amount, and these guys do the rest. The sashimi platter is good value and made with fresh, flavorful fish and is arranged in a great presentstion. The sashimi pieces are large (big bites), so you may want to cut them again for sharing.

Maybe we just caught them on a bad day but the poke salmon and ahi cuts were really chewy and not of the highest quality. The oysters were poorly shucked and we got a lot of chunks of shell in them.

Changed menu from last year. Looks like a fish monger store

Came here for sushi grade ahi. They have a great selection of prepared foods and variety of seafood options. Super nice people, kept things moving and solid prices.

I just asked for a lunch sampler and I got a smorgasbord. Everything was amazing!

I've only tried their smoked salmon which its really good but judging by the big lines and amount of customers they have i bet the rest of the food its good

They are quick and get you your order efficiently. You can eat in our take high quality fish how to cook. They have clams, oysters, mussels, and all sorts of fish.

If you like fish, this is the place to go! Enough said.

The Legend is true, this is the best Poke I have had on this continental US. I recommend the shoyu tuna and scallops with rice and seaweed salad. My favorite combo.
Robert Brown
This place has continued great service and delicious food. I've only grabbed dinner from here, usually their large poke bowls, but one day I'll buy some fresh fish to take home.

Good

Some of the best poke I’ve had!
Sam Broner
This is the best Poke in the city. There aren't as many options as other places, but the fish and flavor are both superlative.
Ian is a great guy and runs a great restaurant.
Alex Lishner
Best poké bowl in Seattle imo! I like that it is served simply with poké, side of rice, and a side of Mac salad, seaweed, or a few others as opposed to all these new poké places popping up that have all these garnishes that I feel overwhelm the meal. It's fresh, and the people working there are cool! They also sell fresh seafood by the pound from wild salmon to octopus to various shellfish, and also have a variety of Japanese beers! 10/10 great experience will def come back

Can't wait to go back. Best chowda of my life and I usually am not a chowda eater. Loved everything we ordered. We had poke and a crab sandwich and a salmon bun.

Fresh and good - but expect a wait. Especially if you getting a bowl or something cooked to order. Parking can be tough.
Jamey JKP
Got to the shop today but it’s not my day i think. The fish is great as usual but the staff that taking my order is a bit hot headed. I made it clear what i need but maybe it’s too complicate for him. Unlucky me...
Corey Hopkins
These guys are great and the food here is delicious! Poké recipes are authentic Hawaiian. I'd argue this place is better than Sam Choy's. If you love poké you need to check this place out!
Hoi Lam
This place is very busy, so you know they have a high turnover on their seafood inventory guaranteeing very fresh seafood. Great place for lunch, but seatings are limited. We usually do takeouts.

Seattle Fish Guys for the win! Cheap, fresh and delicious!
