Reviews of Seattle Fish Company
Michael G. Barash
Nice market for fish with a counter-order restaurant inside. The fish and chips were excellent, I would highly recommend them. The salmon sandwich was a little underwhelming, felt the bread was a bit too sweet and covered up the taste of the fish. Would definitely come back if looking for a casual lunch in the neighborhood.

I must say, my expectations were pretty high when walking in, as this was my first "fish eatery" choice, after my arrival here from Ft Worth, Texas. Everything appeared as if that expectation would be met... as we looked over the menu, the interior decor, the fresh fish displayed on ice, and we then quickly chose our fish...and our seats. Good start...It wasn't crowded, but a constant rotation of customers in and out. The inside decor was what you would expect, simple and effective for your dining needs, kind of dark, cool and cluttered... perfect. We ended up with the Halibut cake and salad, the fish tacos, along with a Halibut sandwich on a simple bun, while ultimately choosing to sit outside. Dang it...the flavors were just not there...MIA even, and the halibut on both the cake and sandwich...well, seemed a tad dry. Too bad, because I sooo wanted to come back here again and again, as it was such a short walk from my apartment. Maybe you'll have better luck than us when you come in...as you too should at least give it a try.

Food delicious, clam chowder a little salty for my taste but good! Fish and fries were light, fresh and tasty. My only regret was: No catfish but i was told they would order some in upon request.

These were the biggest fish tacos that I had ever eaten. Lots of fish and toppings. There was so much fish, I wish they would have served them carnitas style. (With double corn tortillas instead of one flour tortilla) Also, having salsa instead of 3 hot sauces would have been a good option. Definitely needed a fork and lots of napkins to finish the meal. Go there hungry and leave happy 😊

Lovely place with excellent service. I was greeted by the friendliest person the second I walked. I ordered the fish tacos and the servings were HUGE for the price, fresh and delicious
Robbie Boyd
Nice fish and chips option near the junction. Panko breaded, nice and crispy - as were the fries. Fries were portioned ok. Tried one Halibut and one Cod, couldn't tell the difference as much as other places. Two pieces were plenty. The fresh fish market looked nice. 2 single bathrooms. Super friendly staff! Street parking.

Hidden Gem in West Seattle (Accidental Island)
My friend and I stopped in for a late breakfast on Labor Day. Most people would call it lunch even brunch but who has beer for those two meals? (Don’t answer) Anyway, I’ve been for fish and chips which are delicious. Today the fish tacos were grilled ahi. Three for an order and they were ample and delicious. We shared an order of fries which kept a good crisp exterior and nice interior. Two cold beers on tap to wash it all down. Outstanding way to start the last day of a holiday weekend.
The service was friendly and helpful. The ambiance is vintage and tasteful in a tacky fisherman sort of way. The fish case isn’t all that impressive but I wasn’t there to buy market fish.
If you’re on Accidental Island, then I highly suggest giving this place a try.

Friendly and casual place.
Salmon sandwiches's salmon was little heavily salted for my taste. I usually OK for salty taste, I grew up northern snowy place.
Volume is good, taste was OK. We might need to ask "lightly salt" for next time.

I missed patronizing this place for years because the exterior is so unassuming. The interior seating area is old-school Seattle and it's super casual. But the fish is just wonderful. It's good quality fish with a few extra ingredients, so simple but delicious. I particularly like the excellent prawn tacos, salmon (fish & chips/salad) with a huge salad and a simple drink or a beer. I've only once had something from the grill that was meh, otherwise, it's consistently satisfying. In my opinion, it's very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food. This is also the place to order fish to take home - just go to the counter in the back or call in advance. This business is owned by a great couple who work there daily. Go eat some good food!

Great place to go for fish, the guys in here deboned the fillets for us to make cooking easier on me later that night at no extra charge. Highly recommend
Val G
The food was just okay. I had clam chowder and an Oyster Po-Boy. I have had better of both. And the clam chowder was spicy hot. Who makes chowder spicy hot?! Our meal was not worth the money. Hopefully they do a better job with their fresh fish.

This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle by far and I frequent it often. I always recommend to all my friends to come here. The owner, Jon, is very friendly and made me feel instantly welcomed to the neighborhood when I moved here. His restaurant offers a large selection of seafood, wine, and beer, and I haven't disliked a single thing so far! In particular, I highly recommend the halibut fish & chips and the fish or shrimp tacos! I look forward to eventually trying everything on the menu. You won't find another seafood restaurant in Seattle whose food matches in quality and quantity for the price!

OMG!!! This was probably the best fish that I had in a long time. Everything was fresh and you could definitely tell by the taste. The portions were good and they had good seasoning. My fish taco was filled and was very delicious. 11/10 recommend!!
Cameron Connally
We had oyster shooters and the cod fish & chips. The seafood was fresh and we enjoyed both dishes. The place smells a bit fishy because it has the market in the same place as the grill. I like that they have the market which probably means the grill always has fresh (not frozen) seafood. Would visit again.

John and Rachel are some of the best people I have been able to work with. They provide meals to multiple schools nearby and the kids always love the food. If you're ever craving some fish and chips, please do yourself a favor and stop by here.

For the Northwesterner - feed your soul here with delicious fish & chips, and chowder like Ivar used to serve. The upbeat energy in Seattle Fish Co is infectious and everyone is happy in here - happy with their food and their company. Friendly, casual staff.
Make sure to check out the Happy Hour - 2 to 5.
Jill Onewein
The best clam chowder I have ever had! … and I’ve definitely had my share. Full of all the good stuff… loads of clams… and extremely tasty, nicely seasoned. I also had the oysters and chips. The oysters were nice and moist snd also seasoned well. I look forward to going back!
Morgan Baker
Ths food was fresh and the portions were large. They had everything in stock and it came VERY quickly. Prices were reasonable and they did a good job making it. The drinks were good as well, and the servers worked very hard to make it a great experience for us. Everyone was very pleasant and my group and I had a great time. There are also a few options for those who are not seafood lovers, which was good because we did have someone and they liked the chicken tenders.
T Dawn
Quick and friendly service, delicious food at high quality and decently priced. Definitely a must hit spot!
Rick H
When your out of town guests ask to come back to Seattle Fish Company, you know that your lunch place was the right choice. They have the freshest fish around. We had cod, halibut, salmon and fish tacos.
Jovonneb “jovonneb”
They are not cheap with the servings. I got the half clams and half mussels and Captain's Platter. They used real butter and lots of garlic in the steamed clams and mussels. The oysters and clams were good in the platter. The fish a little bland and I do not like dill tartar sauce. The crab bisque was OK. The Cioppino was pretty good and full of seafood. I will probably just get the fried oysters and clams next time. I will return to this location in the future.

Super casual fish market w sit down and eat in option. Do not expect a superior wait staff experience. This is not what this place is about. The cuts of fish r stupendous. The fish and chips are excellent. Prawns and scampi delicious, but could have been hotter. Calamari super meister and tasty. Pilsner beer very good, nice variety of beverages from which to choose. So, come here hungry and thirsty, but for food only, not service tableside. Take home some fish to cook up on the way out. Much fresher than store bought.
Daniela Bailey
I was hesitant to try Seattle Fish Co after reading a not so great review recently but finally decided to give it a try and I wish I would have done it earlier!
So good! We ordered fish and chips and also the chicken strips and both were cooked to perfection.
Excellent service!
Luvtoofly
This was our last stop of our 48 hour visit to Seattle and it was worth the wait. We had salmon fish and chips and clam chowder.. Deeelicious! We wanted to try the crab cakes but had to catch a flight and John heard us talking and he packed it in dry ice and on the way we left for Miami... 36 hours later we opened up our fresh crabcakes and cooked them as he told us and we were in heaven. Thanks John!!!
Ray H
This place is great. Super fresh seafood, fair prices, nice staff, and cooked perfectly. It’s half seafood market, half sit down restaurant with a few outdoor tables so we stayed at ate. And now I need a nap.
Mel Diego
The halibut was 5 starts, crispy not oily and hot. The fries were either old or soggy? Didn't have a nice stiff crunch, arrived warm to cold temp. The Cole slaw tasted old and sour, would not recommend. The tarter sauce was okay. The staff were friendly, the walls and place could have been cleaner, splats and wipes of stuff on the wall, I picked up off the floor what I dropped and noticed the corners could use a little more TLC. Came here on the good reviews. But lack of cleaning and the slaw and fries, this place is only good for fish. The chowder was nice a little on the salty side but nothing a lemon or two couldn't fix.
MSW
Top notch locally and sustainably sourced seafood, also great grille menu too. Staff is friendly and full of expert knowledge of what they sell. This is local and worth your support.
Chiemi ChiAmy206
Great quality food! Fish was nice and good size, soup had good chunk of shrimp and crab, salad was fresh. They also sells fresh seafood there also. Good size seating section, wine & beer available. Great casual place to eat. Street parking only.
Sally Loos
Awesome neighborhood favorite! Love their happy hour specials and enjoyed the poke (tuna) plus 1/2 dz oyster shooters. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus they are pup friendly! Cannot wait to return during the week. We also inquired about whole fresh oysters to shuck at home, so we’re looking forward to buying from them when the time arrives to dine at home.
Bonnie Bender
Lunch with one of my favorite people! I had one of the most delicious copper river salmon I have ever had! Absolutely delightful. It was the chefs special for the day. The art of a true chef, not only was the salmon so very tasty but it was cooked beautifully, fish is so hard to to properly cook but their chef cooked it just beyond rare (I loved every bite!
Christian Schubert
Great place that reminds me of a fish market. The fish is very good and fresh. The salmon chowder is amazing! Beer and drink selection is limited but still good. If you are looking for a quick and easy fish place that won’t break the bank, look no further.
Yuka Ono
Fabulous fish & chips!!! Choice of cod, salmon or halibut; Had cod. Thick generous cut kept fish moist & tender and the crispy breading…Yum! Beautiful flake & clean fish flavor - So fresh!!! Chips were perfect too!
Jason Tuttle
These guys saved my skin. John went out of his way to help me find the fish i needed. Super fresh product, great price, awesome people. They have earned a lifetime customer. Can't wait to go back.
America First
This place is great! They make decent fish and chips, they’ll actually cook anything you want in their case! Service staff is super friendly not much to critique here. Great location too!
Cameron Mairs
Good fresh local fish. I had a shrimp Po boy, not much to say other than it was delicious. Order at the counter, they give you a number, they bring it out to you and bus your table.
New Jeruuz
Food was good.. fast service... prices were low...the staff were very friendly!!💪🏾
Christopher Cossey
The Mac and Cheese with salmon is hands down the best thing you can get in West Seattle. Maybe even all of Seattle. I look forward to coming here every time I’m in Seattle.
July Huss
Poke…chowder…tacos… Just, incredible. All of it. Their happy hour is from 3-5 and I usually stop here before taking the ferry home. Service is excellent and everyone is so friendly! You must try this place.
Gail Wiesner
I love these small neighborhood places. You can eat here and also buy fresh, raw seafood which is outstanding in quality. Really sweet, friendly staff, too.
who got cheese
If ur a big guy I wouldn't come here. Over 200 pounds and a 60$ meal wasn't enough to fill me up. The shrimp tacos are amazing 👏. Bravo 😋 but idk about the fish tacos they gave me a bad stomach ache 🤮. …
momo
There's so much to rave about this place. I make the drive from Bellevue once a week to get lunch and pick up some of the freshest seafood in town. My appetite changes based on either fresh salmon, halibut, crab meat, shrimp or their amazing cakes.
It's the dine in portion worth staying for. The clam chowder is hands down the best in town. There are ample amount of clam and its very rich. The pan fried fish selection is always fresh and plentiful. It's a huge portion here, so beware if you eat with your eyes.
The staff here is knowledgeable, amazing and fun to interact with.
Minh Nguyen
Fresh seafood. Food arrived quickly, probably because restaurant was empty at the time. Friendly service. Clam chowder was full of clams. Fried fish, although fresh, were just ok. Price point is high, but i guess justifiable.
Richard McCracken
Everything was so good. Had an oyster shot, fish and chips and a western poutine. All of it was delicious and the service was excellent. They’ve got lots of space inside and a decent selection on tap. The potions was enough for 5 of us to share along with our meals. My friends oyster po’boy looked amazing.
SaltyCoyote
Updated Review 8/22: Finally came back for the fish and chips and was disappointed, definitely was not fresh halibut, had more of a fish stick taste, so likely it was pollock or really old halibut, tasted way too fishy to be quality halibut. Fries were good, atmosphere is nice and laid back. —- Original Review 11/21: Really good! The tacos were way too big and hard to eat but tasted good, clam chowder was excellent, great fries too! With Merle and Waylon and country classics playing in the radio, pretty cool place. Coming back for the fish and chips
Jeff Snider
Met the kids and took them out to lunch. They live close but have not been there before. All four of us had a great lunch with wonderful food.
Renata Picoli
Amazing food and service. I had a cod fish and chips with strawberry lemonade. It was delicious! The portion size of the cod was very generous. I will definitely come back!
Humza powers
Out of this world good! My mouth is watering just thinking about eating here. West Seattle staple with first class customer service and great eats.
Rochell Patterson
We got the Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos..The food was delicious...The staff very nice...The food was served in a timely manner.
Patty A
The best fish and chips and clam chowder I have ever eaten. I make it a point to go to Seattle Fish Company every time I visit Seattle. Food is always served hot. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Quick prompt service.
Emily Fox
Awesome two piece cod fish and chips. Also some of the best crispiest fries you’ll get around Seattle. Awesome service too—helped us choose our meals and helped us shoo away a bee that was trying to partake of our food once we ate outside. Staff was friendly and chatted with us about good local bars to try out!
Mark Lee
Had the combo. All the fish was fresh. Would have loved more clams. Panko fry was spot on. Not the best food in West Seattle but scratches the itch for fish and chips.
Kendall Bennett
Literally the best fish, tartar sauce & onion rings i’ve ever had! ❤️
Chris Friedemann
Great neighborhood place. Smoked salmon chowder was fantastic. Excellent halibut and chips. Clean. Friendly workers. Food came out fast.
Also has a retail market, so got some crab (to top tonight’s NY strip steak) and Ahi tuna for tomorrow
Kris Whitmore
Fish tacos and the fish fillets for fish and chips are amazing. You can definitely tell they get the fish fresh that morning. Prices are awesome and now I'm craving it again talking about it. gotta hit it 1 more time before I fly back home.
Jack Cieslak
My favorite fish spot in Seattle. Whether you're buying raw to prepare at home or dining there, you can't go wrong. Great food, awesome staff, great spot.
Amy Janel Haaseth-Massey (AJ)
Nice spot, decent food 4 or 5 out of 10 - different choices of seafood and took 2nd place for their chowder.
Diane Rockwood
Great spot! Clam chowder and bisque were delicious! Friendly staff! Thanks for a great start to our girls trip!
mommy and me
Food was wonderful.. The wait time was perfect... #cod #halibut #coconut shrimp #salad
Artur Abushaev
This place is the much needed warm welcome after a long day. You can order anything off the menu with no fear; you will not have a bad meal here.
I have not lived in West Seattle for 4 years now, and I still make the trip for fish and chips. This is a one of a kind in West Seattle and outside of it.
Jordyn Theisen
This is our go to place for fish and chips in West Seattle. Everyone here is so friendly and the service is very fast. The food is delicious and always hot. They have a few tables outside that are great to eat at. We also like going here to pick up salmon or oysters to eat at home.
Rebecca Brinkman
Friendly people, amazing fish and uniquely delicious salmon!!! Perfect with fries and a root beer. Mmmmm!
Jamie C
You just can’t beat this place’s happy hour. The freshness for the price is unmatched. I have been multiple times. Their salmon chowder is great. Chunky with generous portions of smoked salmon like Harry’s Beach House. Great cod fish and chips. Yummy smothered poutine fries and oyster shooters. Also have gluten free fish tacos! Have returned and will return as long as I live here.
Valerie Chavez
If you are staying in West Seattle it is a good place to get fresh seafood. Anytime i visit this is my go to place.
Rob French
Good onion rings and fries, but the fried salmon and halibut were thin, small, and dry.
Karen and Steve Davidson
The very best salmon ever! The scallops were devine! Drove to West coast with SFC in mind and they did not disappoint!
crattik quills
Great food, great service came in twice in one week love the shrimp tacos
Gerard Gousman
Pretty damn good. Def feels like you're eating in a fish market, because you are. Really authentic experience as it's cold and smelly, but the food is stupendous and they have a solid beer selection. GET THE POUTINE!
Ryan
AMAZING food. Great service. Fast and HOT! Parking near. Best prices for around the area. Highly recommend!
chente rojas
A little spendy, but what isn't. Great breakfast. Potatoes and biscuits and gravy . Thumbs up
R. Scotty T
5 stars for the people/staff, 5 stars for the quality, 5 stars for the service. Best "neighborhood" fish market in Seattle, period.
matthew delgadillo
Everytime I come to Seattle it's a must service is great and the seafood is amazing ...chowder is delicious and the fish tacos are no joke
Olivia Holden
This is our go to stop on a bike ride around West Seattle. We need the basket of fish and chips (and a pint) to make it up the hill. We upgrade to onion rings cause the fries are just mediocre - the fish is where it’s at! Great place to get market fresh fish for your home cooked dinner, too.
Mopti Sevare
Love it, never disappointing. Fresh fish and a beer at a decent price.
Troy Flake
We ate here after climbing Mt. Rainier. It was truly some of the best seafood I have ever eaten. The owner was so nice and showed us everything that we asked about. It was so good we both got second entrees! I had the crab cake and fish and chips my buddy had crab and calamari. Thanks for the food we will be back next time we are in Seattle.
Jason Brown
Great place to sit down and enjoy a seafood lunch or dinner. Great food and drink choices. There is a fresh seafood market too. We have enjoyed eating and shopping here for years. A West Seattle jem.
Karen Wong
Happy hour and beer on tap was a pleasant surprise when we dropped in for a quick bite. Will be back and try more of their extensive menu items. Also fresh seafood to take home.
E Griffin
The crab bisque here is really delicious. It came out very quick and all the staff seemed to be working very hard and were very friendly.
Patrick James Kapche
Welcoming local West Seattle business, very popular in the neighborhood as both a fish market and a dine-in eatery 🐟
Ju You
New to the area and was happy to find this hidden gem. Ordered the Oyster Po'boy and Coconut shrimp; we liked both. The STAR though was the clam chowder; wow, one of the best I've had.
Small indoor and outdoor seating area, street parking, and casual. Their fresh seafood market looked amazing, as did their wine bottle selection.
Staff was very courteous and kind.
Tarik A
A frequent go-to of mine in West Seattle. Everything is fresh, made well, and quick. Coconut shrimp, fish and chips, fish tacos, and clam chowder are all top notch. Their lemonade is great too, not too sweet or tart. Always a great meal!
David Miller
I happened upon the Seattle Fish Co because I was working a job nearby. I have been there 3 times since. The food is amazing and the staff make you feel like part of the family. I have found my new favorite spot to eat in Seattle.
Spencer Nilsson
I used the fish market only and I was very pleased by the attentiveness and help of staff. I got what I needed at market rate price and even got some minor questions about handling answered too. I'm not well versed enough in the fish scene to say if it's any good, but I was pleased with my cuts so that's got to count for something.
Brea Black
I have been buying fish and having it shipped to Kansas. This was my first time getting to visit in person and John and his staff are so great. I look forward to visiting them in person from now on! I would ask for recommendations from the crew and you'll get what is fresh and in season!
Brandy Harris
I bought fresh halibut which was perfect, and I also have had their halibut and chips, crab and salmon cakes. All very good. And their salmon chowder is loaded with flavor and good chunks of potatoes. Love this place! Cool pictures of old ferries all along the walls.
Tim Wetzel
I've been to Seattle Fish company twice and enjoyed their food both times. We ordered the fish and chips, crab mac and cheese, steamed clams, and oyster po boy. The food was always delicious and exactly as we ordered.
My only criticism is that some of the staff did not wear their masks at any point while I was ordering and picking up food. There is no separation between the kitchen and the eating area, and it seemed irresponsible for them to not be adhering to the state guidelines during this pandemic. I felt uncomfortable waiting indoors for the food to be prepared, next time I will order ahead of time so I can minimize time spent in the restaurant.
Andrew Woodworth
Pretty great spot for not only fresh fish, but also a quick lunch or dinner. We had the shrimp tacos, crab bisque, and salmon fish and chips, with the last definitely being my favorite. The batter was really tasty and one of the best I’ve had, and even the fries were amazing along with the tartar sauce. It was a tad expensive but that’s to be expected when you’re getting such fresh seafood. I would definitely dine here again.
Carter Gray
Great fish and chips! Love this place and the people are wonderful and know a ton about seafood.
Nolene Wold
First time going here for dinner and it was good but not great. Hubby was disappointed with his fish tacos as it was random fish and weirdly over cooked. His had no flavor. Cod would have been so much better. I took a nibble of his and I couldn't even taste much. He LOVES fish tacos too normally. The slaw had hardly any sauce for flavor or moisture either. Im sure they are someone's favorite fish tacos but not ours.
I did really love my fried halibut though. I normally don't eat any fish but salmon so was extremely excited to try something new. Good choice! Onion rings were so fresh too and the sauces were amazing. The excellent halibut saved my review and I gave a piece of my yummy fish to my hubby to substitute in his last taco. Much better. I think I'd go back and try something else again.
Becki Fields
We took the order to go, ordering from the Happy Hour menu.
The fish (cod) was cooked through but VERY bland. The portions are generous. The french fries are delicious. We liked the tarter but they only give you one, so you may want to buy extra. We will go back to try the halibut and chips.
Okay Becky
One of our favorite quick takeout spots in the neighborhood! Everything we’ve tried has been great so far including the chowders, the crab cake, the fish and chips and all the shrimp options! Good stuff
Melinda Bodine Stevens
The salmon fish & chips was just scrumptious - crispy outside, still moist flaky fish inside, not greasy so you could really taste the salmon flavor. The clam chowder was flavorful & spiced very well - the right amount of clam, potato, & creamy soup ratio. The only disappointment was the crab bisque. The amount of crab was plentiful & good itself, but the bisque/soup was uninspiring, overly thickened, and wasn't served warm enough. Still, definitely worth another visit for more chowder, and fish & chips. Need to try the halibut next time & maybe a crab cake.
Jenny Lynn
The fresh muscles were good. I ordered clam chowder for dine in and it was served to me cold. They reheated it and it has a nice flavor but was really chunky with celery(?) and potatoes.
Rob Galus
Best fish and chips in Seattle. Friendly staff and a nice vibe in the dining area. Can't wait to try their selection of fresh fish at home. And they have Poke!!
Abizness Digital Images
Initially we drove out to check out the fish at the market. Since our visit was during Happy Hour, we opted to stay for a bite. Best decision ever!!
Fish and Chip platter has 2 pieces of either cod or salmon with hand-cut fries. There must have been a pound of fish on that plate! And super tasty! Great, friendly service, too.
My strongest advice is to visit during Happy Hour. Prices are $8 plate with $4 drafts.
We'll be back! Thanks for the hospitality.
charisma quitog
Food were delicious. So much option. Love the crab bisque. It was hearty & filling.
John Nye
Great fish dishes. Love the Halibut and the fries. Shrimp are tasty and cooked just right. With Covid, phone in your pickup orders or visit and wait for your feed to be prepared. It has become a trusted regular place for us to get pre wedding meals.
Dorene Richardson
What we believe to be the owner greeted us as we entered. The first thing out of his mouth was "I am so glad to see you". Are you kidding me? Nobody seems to have this type of hospitality these days. He gave us the run down all while making is feel like we were family that just arrived from out of town and he wanted to make us dinner. Our food was out almost faster than it took us to make our drink selection from the wide variety of sodas in the cooler (try the huckleberry soda!!). The food.. oh man.. the food was delicious. I had the calamari and let me tell you. That was hands down the best I have ever had. You know..the I can't finish one more bite but you do anyway cause it's THAT good. As we departed we were wished on our way with safe travels. What an incredibly delightful experience
We will be back for sure!
procatiu
Cod Fish and Chips, excellent portions of fresh fish perfectly cooked, moist white meat. Solid breading. Filled up on fish, tried a couple of fries which were also good, didn't try the coleslaw served.
Update 2021-10-27: This has been my go to for reasonably priced fish & chips during their 2-5Pm happy hour. Pleased with overall consistency and good quality.
Haley Parsons
the food taste awesome and the service was great but be sure to be specific about what menu you’re ordering from during happy hour!
Adam
Delicious calamari and crab cakes. Mussels were tasty too and wine was a great deal.
Brian Ruhe
Amazing welcome when they opened their doors! Purchased crab, scallops, poke, and other fish. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing on Christmas! Thank you! I will be back again and again and...
Jeff Bianchi
Great place for fish n chips. Go with the cod or halibut. The salmon is usually too dry for me. They also have amazing crab cakes and halibut cakes. Salmon cakes, sadly, just miss the mark. If you're ordering to go to eat out of your home, make sure you ask for napkins and eating utensils, otherwise you're likely not to get them. All this considered, the best fish in West Seattle!
Julie Lovell
This is our go-to place for fish and chips in West Seattle! Big chunks of fish and a super crunchy panko breading that travels well for take out. They also have a great selection of fresh fish and even poke. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
Mitchell D
Excellent Service and Top Quality Seafood.
We ordered seafood to ship to our friends in Nashville and Jon was amazing! He made the entire process so easy, he was taking our order while greeting and helping other customers, he is quite the multitasker. Our friends had their seafood the next day and loved it.
Also, the clam chowder and halibut is top notch.
Keep up the good work, we will be back soon.
Ben Olson
Fresh fish and seafood. The king crab legs and the dungenous crab meat are my fav.
Gabi Montoya
Love this spot! It’s a favorite for quick takeout. Everything is yummy, especially the crab cakes, tacos and clam chowder.
Brian Zenk
Fresh fish ! Clean tables ! A very enjoyable place to chill in the west Seattle junction
Corey Canfield
I had the poke bowl. Really great poke but pretty spendy.

A taste of Pike Place Market in Hip West Seattle. Jon and Rachel work hard to keep the vibe going even in the middle of a pandemic, greeting customers, hawking fresh fish and pushing great food - great take out options. Look forward to being able to eat in once again. Get in here for great seafood!
Kristen Mukai
First things first their fish and chips and fish sandwiches are great and that's why I come here. Secondly they've got some wacky pricing going on?? I got charged $3 each for regular sizes cans of soda (coke, sprite) and a $1 takeout fee during COVID when we're not even allowed to dine in. I wondered why my bill was so high! Anyway still tip on takeout, times is tough I guess
Aleksey kiryanov
Great halibut and onion rings and good soda handcrafted it was a good experience for first time there better than ivars
Patricia Randall
We had a great experience today, from the moment we came through the door! Staff was wonderful. I had True Cod Fish and Chips and a beer (well 2 beers I wasn't driving!), others at the table had Halibut and Chips. On the spot service, crispy batter on fish & cold cold beer. I/we would definitely go again!!!
Aaron Farance
Great fish, good service and quite likely some of the best breaded salmon one could hope to find. Pair it all with a beer or a ginger beer and you have a great Seattle experience a bit off the path.
The ambiance is nothing special but the food is always great.
I've also bought fish here and they are always helpful.
Howard Andersen
I had the two piece cod and chip's with A Coke. Really good lunch, little on the expensive side $20.00. But the fish was really good fries were good, I'm not a fan of Coleslaw so you will have to rate that yourself. You can also buy fresh seafood there that is also very good.
Colin Faddis
Awesome seafood! I came here for happy hour, great deal - 2 pc Fish and Chips for $9. The fish was amazing, crispy but moist on the inside. Fries were great, as well, perfectly cooked! Staff is all really friendly, too 😄. I’ll definitely come back for their fish market, which looked top notch. Thank you Seattle Fish Co.! …
richard kromm
Their pricing is reasonable , I see many comments to the contrary, but if you
look closely - their fresh seafood is FRESH and direct. Honestly, your paying for quality not just shopping for the cheapest seafood. Besides, I am all for supporting local, small businesses. I recommend Seattle Fish Company and John's employees who are great asset to our community.
Susan Hockberger
Always has great food and service. We have gone here for years
S Mayeda
The battered halibut and cod were good. The ciappino was ok. We didn't like the clam chowder, it was too herby for our taste. They had outside seating. We had our order for take out. They only had street parking.
Haleh Nekoorad Long
LOVE this place! best Salmon sandwiches with side of salad.
Their fries are not great but their salad is awesome.
Again! Never disappointed. Seared halibut today with bear.
D A
Clam chowder was very good, crab bisque was excellent, calamari and cod were both awesome, and the crab cake was great. Friendly service and fair value.
Roxy Valdez
Salmon and chips was, hands down, the best fish I've ever had, and the fries were AMAZING!? In my opinion, slip Pike Place and come straight here. Friendly staff, good prices, and we picked up some slabs of tuna that would make Poseidon weep with envy.
Stephy :]
Not usually a fan of tartar sauce but u can tell this is all fresh including the cod. Consider one piece of cod if your having dessert. These are thick and yummy.
Debbie Adair
This place was wonderful. The food was delicious, probably the best scallops I’ve ever eaten—and I’ve had my share! The vegetables were fabulous. And we had a chance to make a new friend, who seems to admire Texas as much as my husband and I do. If you’re in Seattle, do yourself a favor and stop in. Go tell Wade that Shane and Debbie said hey.
You won’t be disappointed. 😍
PS—DO NOT skip the West Side Poutine. 😉
Zane M
Great idea for a restaurant. Full offering fish market, you can take the raw fish to go and cook at home, or order in and they cook and serve it for you (sit down and eat). Had the fish and chips, tasty. Decent price and portions. Nice and mellow interior.
Andrew “muad'dweeb” Galloway
Some damn fine seafood. Have bought scallops, swordfish, and salmon for home cooking. Phenomenal taste. If dining in, the clam chowder poutine is surprisingly amazing. Good fish and chips as well. Decent beer selection to accompany the grub. Nice staff. Good location.
Bryce Humphries
Stellar food & stellar service. Shrimp tacos are the best I have eaten yet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. 100% recommend.
Chris Koruga
This is honestly my personal favorite spot for fish and chips. The prices are a little high but they have happy hour prices that make everything worth it. I usually get their fried halibut, oyster shots, or fried clams. My favorite drink to get is their honey-cream soda from the fridge. The batter they use for their fish is light and crunchy. If you want fish and chips but don't want to go all the way to Alki then this is the spot for you!
annabeth stoffal
My husband had an oyster poor boy and he said it was very tasty. I had the salmon chowder which was okay but not great. It was a bit warm inside. Great fish selection for purchase.
Victor Woltemath
We needed to grab a quick bite before heading to the game so stopped off in west Seattle at the Fish company. My wife and I split the 2 piece halibut and chips. Service was fast and food was delicious. Also nice house white wine and Northshore brewings Scrimshaw pilsner. Great lunch and a great price. Will be going back for sure.
Michelle Young
Breaded, not fried. Was fresh, but lacked flavor. Maybe that's typical of English food, but I've had better fish n chips and would seek out a different place for them.
Matt Moore
The fried halibut was very good. The fried cod was excellent as well. The food service was quick and everything tasted fresh. They had awesome music playing as well giving it a great vibe. We will be coming back!!
James Batten
Only been here once but came just before closing. Let's be real, no one wants customers walking in few minutes til closing lol. But the staff was helpful and great none the less. And the food was wonderful. I'll definitely be coming back to try them again!
Felicia Drone
Absolutely delicious. Extremely fresh and efficient service. We love the Fisherman’s Platter, awesome option for those that would want more than one thing. The fried calamari was the best I’ve had. This place will become my go to place for all things seafood and happy hour!
J
Great customer service and friendly man at the counter. Phenomenal fish and chips too! Sooooooooo tasty. Quality crunchy outside layer and great flavor. Very fresh.
jayme brown
Amazing halibut fish & chips, fast service, the fish was not over cooked or under cooked, the breading was not greasy - it was flaky & light. Everything tasted fresh, will def return, very affordable.
Peter Schulte
We had a weekend lunch here and it was kind of crowded but the service was still friendly and quick. The clams and mussels were especially good with a unique broth. I had Mahi and chips and learn I'm not so fond of mahi but the servings were generous and will prepared. The people are friendly and we were lucky to get parking right in front of the place. There seems to be plenty of parking in that neighborhood. I've been going to the post office across the street for years and the smell of seafood from that restaurant always drives me crazy with appetite! Well they lived up to the expectations!
Daniel Collins
I’ve ordered off the food menu here about 5 times, and bought fresh fish probably an equal amount of times. The fish market portion of the business is high quality, and you can reliably expect a fresh product that is much better than say QFC or Whole Foods (nothwithstanding the higher price per lb). When I want salmon or tuna for a special occasion, this is where I come.
The kitchen, however, seems to be hit or miss. I’ve had some great meals here, and some confusingly so-so ones. Today was definitely one of the so-so ones. Ordered a 3pc salmon & chips + a 3pc cod & chips (obviously to-go). The order appeared to be made to order, and my fried salmon was flavorful and flaky although the batter was not terribly crispy.
My partner enjoyed two beautiful pieces of cod, however the third was inexplicably awful. I wish I could upload a picture to do it justice, but the flesh was dense, tough, and stringy like a mozzarella stick. It was beyond inedible. You couldn’t even rip it in half. I don’t know if there’s a tough part of a cod’s anatomy, or if it was frozen and/or overcooked but yeah.... not a great end to an otherwise great takeout meal.
I wish I could get an explanation for this, as I’m absolutely perplexed as to why one piece appeared to be from a different universe than the other two. This is an otherwise solid 4-4.5 star joint, but I have to give it a 3/5 for the experience today.
P Fernando S
The fish and chips in this place are very good! Plus they have a happy hour starting at 2pm until 5, you get 2 pieces of fish instead of 1! Also the selection of seafood is very good and the service is excellent, will come back over and over and over.
Vanessa V.
Non-pretentious fish market that serves up tasty chowder and fresh seafood. Keep it simple when ordering and you can't go wrong. Warning: Once you have the halibut fish and chips you'll never want to go back to cod or anything else.
Richard Mallo
Friendly staff. I had salmon tacos and fried oysters. Both delicious and the salmon was surprisingly spicy. Cool spot it was my first meal in Seattle and I loved it.
Brody B
I have picked up and ordered from these guys for over ten years. Now that I am in Raleigh I order a couple times a year for special occasions (smoking salmon, crab feasts, etc).
These guys always get it right, they are true fish mongers and understand the nuance of the business. If I make a request that might have a better option they are quick to point it out. Considering I am all the way across the country that trust is very important.
I don't give a lot of 5 stars but these guys deserve it.
Dannie Wit
Great place to eat as a family or as a casual date night. Love their fresh fish sandwiches with fries and local beers + ciders. I threw a surprise party with 20 people a few years ago and they were great to work with.
Coy Burlingame
My wife and I were visiting Seattle and found Seattle Fish Company! We were hungry and we both ordered fish and chips. Our orders were delicious!! Let me tell you how fresh the fish for our orders was. They sell fresh fish at Seattle Fish Company!! We highly recommend Seattle Fish Company to anyone who likes fish!!
RMC RMC
1st visit today. John was extremely friendly and acomidadting. I had the cod fish and chips and they were absolutely delicious. I will be back.
Chris Burdine
great fresh salmon to grill at home , after trying 3 grocery stores that were selling mushy fish we splurged here. Had dinner at the market as the fish was for the next night, and discovered the best food bargain yet this year. the 2 for $9 fish tacos were enormous and delicious.
Joshua Smith
Great oysters. Not great fish tacos. Halibut cheeks were delicious.
Rush The Rush Project
I Had The Fish Taco's 🌮 The Was Amazing The Service Was Just As Good 👍🏾 …
Kwan Liu
The seafood here is so fresh. I think the prices are justifiably reflective of that. For the restaurant side, I always get either the calamari or the fish and chips and I’ve never been disappointed.
Brick Roman (Brick)
Lively place, great fish and seafood selection, great place for a quick bite. Overnight fish shipments to friends in USA is reliable and high quality
Patrick & Roberta Pilcher
Consistently good. We've been stopping by regularly for over 4 years. Foods is good, staff is always friendly, and prices are very reasonable. I've given up on all the other fish places, because this is the best.
Julie Berry
The first time we went, we shared the Captains Platter. Our food was way too breaded and so over-fried we couldn't bite through most of it. We didn't say anything because it was getting close to closing and we had somewhere else to go. We did try it again, only this time we had oysters and chips, one of my faves. Unfortunately, the oysters were so over-breaded we couldn't tell the meat from the bread. I will say that the Cioppino and Clam Chowder were definitely good but a little too over spiced for my taste. I would go back for the Cioppino, but definitely not the fried foods. Aside from that, the staff is friendly and it's a great little cozy spot to dine in.
DMA. MONROE
Two great fish tacos that are stuffed to the gills for $9. Best in Seattle (so far).
Cathy
I highly recommend Jon and Seattle Fish Company!!!! I ordered some seafood to be delivered to Michigan on New Year's Eve and it was supposed to be delivered by Monday. FedEx got overwhelmed and I didn't get my order until Wednesday and some of the seafood went bad. I called Jon and he not only replaced what went bad, he also sent me some extra for my troubles overnight at no cost to me. This is amazing customer service and the fish, clams, crab, shrimp, halibut and langostino all were super fresh and beyond delicious. Thank you again Jon!!! We will be ordering from you again and again.
Yuki
Great food and service always!!! My favorite place to go in West Seattle 🐟 You must try crab cakes! I usually take buy them from fish market and cook at home 😋 …
Teresa C.
Good value for their fish taco special. And very tasty.
Mariah Gentry
Went for fish and chips! The fish was quite good and I was able to get a salad instead of fries. Although the fries did look pretty darn good. The fish was tender yet crispy and had great flavor.
Pat Seaman
Just eating my Copper River Salmon I picked up from Seattle Fish this morning. Granted the salmon is fantastic, but so is Seattle Fish!
david lee
Good fish and chips with "Happy Hour"
Carole Lyn White Riesenberg
Great seafood, great menu, fun atmosphere, and fabulous crabmeat cocktail! I will go back when in Seattle!
James Marlow
I've consistently had great experiences here, both buying food to eat and purchasing seafood to go (want some great, reasonably priced dungeness crab? This is the place!).
The best experience, however, was when I was in with my 4 year old daughter, who was singing "How many toes does a fish have" from "Tacky the Penguin" - loudly. The person working the counter (quite possibly the owner) heard her, asked her what she was singing, and then asked if she knew how many toes a fish had. She said "no" and looked confused. So he offered her an opportunity to find out, took her behind the counter, pulled out a 3 foot fish (yes, really), slapped it down on a table, and gave her a quick lesson in fish anatomy. Then they counted the bones in the pectoral fin (the closest you get to toes on a fish) and came up with "9".
HILARIOUS - and also VERY impressive. Also, the crabs we got that day were extra tasty.
Leah Echelman
I love this local gem. Order at the counter then grab a seat. The seafood is always fresh and prepared perfectly. Delicious chowder, crab cakes, grilled fish, clams, and mussels. Also some of my favorite fish and chips in town.
Meghan Gallery
Fresh seafood right out of the counter. They could shuck the halfshell oysters a little more cleanly, I've had shells in them the handful of times I have gotten them. Fish and chips is solid, the chowder poutine is insane and I wish it was always available.
Julie Hatcher
First time here. Fish was
excellent. As everything now it is alittle pricey but worth it.
Sweet Jones
A must visit restaurant!! This place offers everything. They have fresh seafood, many off which come in different varieties and flavors. Crab, fish, shellfish, mussels, EVERYTHING!! They have shipping services and competitive prices. They will prepare your favorite dish inhouse and you can eat out on their sidewalk dining area, or in the restaurant. You must stop in and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
Emely L
The fish was ok but I prefer the fish from Spud and Ivar's.
Siu Tam
I came here specifically for the west side poutine because it was recommended online. I must say, I was disappointed. Not because it was not good. But it looked and tasted like someone made it a while ago and reheated it. In fact, the fried halibut, and the seared scallops are the same. My food arrived within 10 mins or so after I ordered, but I couldn't understand why it looked and tasted like its been sitting around. Only thing that was good is the oyster shooter.
Someone needs to explain to the kitchen staff what cook to order really means...........
Uncle Mack
The quality of the fish and seafood was exceptional, however the clam chowder was something I didn't expect. The clam chowder too salty and bay leaves flavoring was too strong, the appropriate herb to use in chowder is thyme. I will be back again!!!!
Stephanie Nelson
Oh my gods, the fish and chips are sooooooo good. Their tartar and ranch is some of the best as well. There were three of us and we shared a basket of the Salmon and a basket of the Halibut (*drool*) FnC's. We chose a salad and of course chips, in which they PILE into the basket, for our sides and a side order of grilled vegetables (super yummy). Easily fed one man -big eater- and two hungry gals. They have a good variety on tap and by the bottle. Going to take my dad here one of these days and see if it one ups his favorite FnC's place 😄
Michael H
Very good fish and chips, nice and crunchy outside just like I like it, and the salad is also excellent, with lots of goodies! Get the halibut, it's only a little extra and is much better.
Denise Foster
I have a boyfriend with additive allergies, so am always on the market for good seafood that is fresh, caught in the wild, and doesn't have anything added to it. (Some salts even can be a problem). I go to the Fish Company every so often and every time I'm there I'm treated well, get the information I need on all the fish, and otherwise receive superb service. They also post a lot of information right on the cases, so I don't have to ask about "everything".
Kendra Rocha
Service is great, staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is amazing! Amazing crab cakes! Clam chowder is also superb. Great place to get seafood, I will definitely be back for more!
Sonia N
A local favorite. Old school style fish and chips place with a fish market. They offer the freshest bestest seafood around with frendly service. The soups and cod and chips are popular though I found the cioppino too spicy for my taste. The seared halibut or grilled tiger prawns are my favs and my husband loves the smoked salmon mac and cheese. We'd eat here more often if we could afford to (good seafood ain't cheap)!
Alex Gomez
Captain platter was good and gave me an extra beer because the keg blew. Will come again. A+++
Andrew
The venue isn't well lit, had large selection of seafood, prices are little higher than most fish and chips place, and the food was average. My friend's order had mold on their 🍞, they replaced the 🍞 but didn't compensate us in any way. Not sure I would come back again. …
James Granlund
Great little seafood market/restaurant! The fish is top quality, the buyer knows seafood, it's obvious. Not cheap, but quality rarely is.
The restaurant has great service and a good menu. Casual, good times!
Nicole Sorensen
If they didn't get our to-go order wrong everytime, this would be 5 stars. Food and service is excellent, which is the most important. What stinks is to pay for things you don't get. On one occassion we order clam chowder and got a salad instead. Not the end of the world but disappointing. It's a pricey place so if I ask and offer to pay for extra tarter saice, which should be an easy request to accommodate for a fish and chips joint, I don't want to get home to discover ONE. This happens every flippin time and it's so frustrating. Next time I'm going to remember to check the order before I walk out of there.
Lance Rasmussen
Chowder is solid. Great fish and chips. Service is reasonable for speed. Lots of options for those buying fresh seafood. Prices are a little higher, but quality is good.
taylor renno
If you are visiting Seattle and want a good place to sit, have a drink, and eat some of the best fish of your adult career, come here. And then, *bonus* you can bring some fish home with you.
Everything here is the most amazing.
Paul Dodd
John provides tremendous quality product that is worth paying a little extra for. The fresh ivory king salmon and scallops we had this week melted in our mouths!
John Applegate
First time in, wow, great fish and chips. The staff is friendly and up-beat. I will be coming back regularly. Nice to have this restaurant in West Seattle.
Ryan Miller
Best fish and chips in Seattle. Customer service is the best and the employees are happy to see you
Margaret
We just moved to the area and are so happy to have found you guys. Highly recommend for eating in, takeout fresh fish to cook at home and goodies for seafood stocks. Thank you for you for being so helpful when I came the other day!!
Christopher Smith
Awesome spot with a great happy hour menu
Kevin Buehler
They have some of the best fish I have had. It is an older place with a great atmosphere. They have quite a nice menu to choose from and the prices are very good for being in Seattle or any big city. They also have fresh fish to take home. Staff is great, friendly and make awesome recommendations.
pete kupper
We come everytime were in west seattle. The prawns and chips are to die for. The fish & chip the same.I have not had anything that is not bad here its all great. The staff is great and John the owner is such a nice person. Keep up the good work you guys rock.
Wanda Nitsch
Excellent seafood to purchase. More expensive than local grocery stores. But worth the price to get fresh, quality seafood. Helpful staff.
Nino Carter
On behalf of @sippymusic we have to give them a 10 star rating. I was blown away with the food, atmosphere and service. Will definitely get more visits in the future from me. Best place hands down to celebrate my bday dinner!!!!!
Mark B.
Seattle Fish Company has some of the freshest seafood around. Crab cocktails are amazing, fish tacos are stuffed full, steamed mussels/clams are swimming in a wonderful broth, and they have great beers on tap. Definitely one of the best places to go in West Seattle.
Asher Wells
Absolutely amazing fish and chips!!! Service was fantastic as well. From out of town and Seattle wasnt much of my thing but I would fly back for this!
Peter Wiant
Fresh fish in West Seattle! Love this place just wish they would put in a pétanque court!
Jeff Brauns
Excellent fish and chips. Lots of high quality fresh fish. Super friendly staff. Outdoor seating out front.
Mark Sison
We intended to eat at The Spud today but there was nowhere to park so we decided to give this place a try. So glad we did !!! The fish is super fresh and fried to perfection. !!! We will definitely be back !!!
Elio Grieco
The oyster po-boy is delicious. Eat it as soon as it arrives though so it doesn't get soggy. The clam chowder is very good for New England style, pieces of actual clam with good texture, not rubbery, canned junk from the other side of the world.
Marc Grennan
Best fish and chips I've ever had. Usually go to Ivar's but not anymore. Excellent customer service as well.
Kirsten Carter
The grill is BEYOND delicious. I've tried the fish and chips, crab cake, and crab mac and cheese. The fish is so fresh.
Donald Senior
Had the Halibut & chips.
Was the best I've ever had.
Light grease with a delicate crunch to the batter. The fish was not thin & had good flavor.
Luke Henkel
Great happy hour offered, cool chill vibes -- definitely a locals' place. The servers and staff were what made this such a memorable place. Kind of pricey but hey, that's West Seattle for you. Don't miss out!
John Mills
Grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Grays Harbor County and now live in Kentucky. I still make it back at least once a year to visit family and friends and try to get my fill of razor clams, salmon, and Dungeness crab. Found Seattle Fish online when I was craving FRESH crab. Spoke to John on the phone and placed my order for 4 pounds of cracked meat. Here's the best part, if you know your Dungeness. They were all LEGS!. He keeps the body meat for crab cakes and sells the legs. He shipped it overnight and our family feasted tonight with enough left over for tomorrow night. Seattle Fish Company rocks!!
K. Dub
I love this place the food is always good and fresh there is never any question about the chowder and the people are pretty nice pieces of fish are bigger than what you would get at Ivar's.
The Wellington
The Seattle Fish Company has the best lunch in West Seattle. The fish tacos are the best! Also, the freshest seafood, with the best selection and great prices in all of Seattle. Go here and you will be happy.
Eyung G
Local fish co with grill and dine in. Full variety of seafood and decent fish and chips. Quick prep
CSGO “Funkdat6o2” AWP
This is the place to get fresh fish. They have really good fish and chip. Curry a nice selection of beers and wine. Seating indoor and outdoors family friendly.
Andrea A
Great place to have fish and chips, very good quality for the price. Simple dishes nicely executed. Informal and super inclusive staff.
Kelly J
Beautiful selection. Someday I will ask for 'one of everything please' and then eat fish until I pass out.
sishi691
They have poke and their fish is super fresh and flavor is perfect! I know what good quality fish looks and taste like because I grew up with sashimi and poke!
Lisa Rousseau
This is my go to place. Staff takes very good care of me and the fish is always off the charts. Delicious food 😋 …
Andrew Kappenman
The Best fish and chips! Happy hour, good peeps and great service! A must visit.
Jeph Fandingo
This place is AWESOME! FAST service and the employees are so nice and cordial. The seafood is crazy fresh, honestly the best I've had in 34 years 😃😃😃 …
Tammy “Brado” Brady
Best fish and chips. And I don't even LIKE fish! Happy Hour 2 piece and a beer for me and my hubster was $22! DEALS!!
Helen Schoch
The Cioppino would have deserved an 'excellent' if it had been served a bit more hot. The taste was amazing. A rich and complex tomato-based soup that I am still dreaming about.
Daniel Wetteroff
this place is a great option for fish and chips. They have great food, its well prepared, and if you go during happy hour 4-7pm its actually affordable for lower wage workers.
Travis Warren
Love this place. The staff, the fish, the prepared food are all the best in Seattle. No matter where I live in Seattle, I will make the trip to Seattle Fish Co.
Diana Piggee
The seafood is always fresh. My faves are the cod fish & chips and the clam chowder. Will be trying the salmon fish and chips next
Joel P
Great food. Recommend the fish n chips. Not a full self service restaurant. A unique mix of a seafood market and small corner restaurant.
Veronica George
It"s usually really good, but today the fris and the chowder were not hot. The chowder seemed thicker than normal. In my opinion it was a tad too thick.
Roger Star
My mom and I have been to at least 10 fish and chips restaurants. This one is the best we have been to in the Seattle area. Awesome place!!!
Mark Quinn
Very friendly staff, and excellent, fresh seafood!
Also perhaps the best fries on California
David Derrough
Got fish tacos! Huge, delicious and not expensive. Friendly service as well. Can't wait to go back.
Derek T
Good selection of fresh fish us good fried selection. Decent beer rotation...
Mitch Anderson
Always stop here when we're in town. Food is great, as is the service. They even handle large groups well. Try the fish and chips.
Jesse Moore
Happy hour 2-5 daily. True cod fish and chips with an ice cold beer= $10. Can't do that at Ivar's :-)
Michael Turner
Some of the freshest fish around. Also tasty food from their grill.
Abdideq Firin
Amazing atmosphere, great customer service, great food would recommend you to go there. I will definitely come for some more fish and chips ...
Devin Roberto
so fresh
Kim Leveille
We ordered, and it came fatf, the hot plates were hot, the cold plates cold. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented and just perfect. Very very happy. Will repeat often
Fernando De La Quadra
Awesome place, great food, good price, and we are always greeted with a smile. The owner rocks this place, and we feel at home when I take my family to this awesome joint. Keep up the good work.
Norman Underland
Great fish and chips if you eat there. Fresh selection of seafood if you are cooking at home. Great service.
Siracha Nelligan
No question about it,
Absolutely the best fish and chips that I have had in Washington.
Fantastic!!
10 thumbs up!
Kathleen Snyder
Had three large pieces of cod. Very moist and tasty. Best for fresh fish.
First Last
Overpriced fish market, even for West Seattle. Their poboys, albeit fresh, lack any kind of spice or seasoning. That pretty much sums up the rest of the menu, fresh but bland.
Jojo Espaillat
Absolutely scrumptious! Service was excellent too and very friendly! My second visit and most definitely my go to lunch spot!
Juan Guerra
I have loved this place since its inception and i come back for fish and chips despite having left the area, over the years the pieces get smaller and the price remains high,, but now the fish came almost burnt when we ordered the 3 piece cod and 3 piece halibut.
Greg Holt
Love this place. I always make a point of coming here when I'm in seattle.best dam fish and chips I have ever had anywhere.
jeapp1
Great fish and chips! Really friendly staff. Very clean place. Definitely worth the visit!
Huasteco09 Alvarez
Great fish and chips, and beer. Their seafood is always super fresh.
Florence Fiddler
Breaded fish (for fish and chips) fried too long, breading basically burned on edges.
Great fries though.
Pricey.
But, only fish and chips in area.
They'll do good business until competition comes comes to town.
Katrina Santos
Super fresh fish and extremely good fish and chips. Both dine-in and take-out have been A+!
Mary Wallace
Had a crab cake, smoked salmon chowder and green salad. Everything was very fresh and excellently prepared. Friendly staff.
USN Explorer
Somewhat mediocre fish and chips. Very fresh fish, but I suppose on par with its British roots with the lack of seasoning.
isabella smith
Best shrimp tacos and french fries in town!! ♥️ the service is very good and super friendly staff.
Jennifer Howard
I love this place! Always so yummy and the fish is always fresh. Great little environment for casual lunches.
Marla Wolkowitz
Good selection and choices to eat. Our party of four had four different meals.
Sam Macray
Great food and good selection. Local ingredients and fish. Fast and friendly service. You can even ship fish!
Matt F
Love the fried cod, reminds me of being a kid back in Maine. The deals at happy hour make it worth a late lunch or early dinner.
Stephen S
Good food, lots of fish choices to take home, and they have Pike Place beer on tap (my favorite).
Jan Applegate
First time here, great food and excellent service. It was Happy Hour too! Will definitely be back soon.
Brandon Lee
Guy at the register was cool and informational. Cod and chips were good, plenty of other options that seem great quality as well
Marco Deppe
We had the poke bowl and the poutine and both were excellent
Sam Grant
Best seafood in Seattle. Yeah, I said it. It's a big claim but they are delivering time and again. Now if they'll just bring back the crab mac-n-cheese.
Matthew Sullivan
Best fish and chips in West Seattle! The owners are super nice and the happy hour menu is on point!
Steven Schwartz
Did you know they hire people with Special needs, including offering training. I plan on visiting this establishment as often as possible to support the good work they are doing within the community.
C M
Friendly service, had decent beers on tap, good fries and the food was lovely. And mostly eaten by the time I took the pic
Ada Oriana Vargas
Best Fish & Chips I have ever had!! Clam chowder and crab cakes are awesome too
Kyle O'Hara
Mediocreeee. 20 min wait for small order the food wasn't impressive either
Kathrynn Scheele
Fish and chips are great. Owner and staff friendly. This is my goto spot for lunch
Yasmin
Amazing! This place really made me feel worth moving to Seattle! Fresh seafood, pleasant service, reasonable price, can't ask more!
Edward Dechant
Love this place. I usually don't do a review unless I'm really happy with the service. The care and hard work they do really shows.
David Wilkinson
