Reviews of Salty's on Alki Beach

All Food are Top notch!
Our server was Jon, he explained everything in very exquisite manner.
The Atmosphere is great, vibrant colors, and overall good decorations.
Catch of the day fish is very fresh as well as their Oysters, Halibut, Alaskan Salmon and many others.
We went there a party of 10, they treat us very good plus they got you free dessert if its your birthday.

After making a reservation at this gorgeous restaurant, the same day we wanted to eat, we were surprised with a corner view of the the city. Our table had rose petals and an anniversary card, as we let them know in advance that we were celebrating. It was so cute and thoughtful. We began with oysters which were extremely fresh and the red wine vinegar complimented it well. The Louie Louie salad was the best I have ever had, and the halibut with risotto was the most perfectly cooked fish we’ve ever tasted. The truffle was true to taste. I was surprised with a raspberry angel food cake at the end, complementary from the chef. I can’t recommend this restaurant more. We will certainly be back to the future. Malik was a phenomenal server, thank you so much!!

Food was really good! The calamari was thinly crusted and tender inside. Ordered the 3 course dinner and it was huge enough for sharing. The shrimp with asparagus was cooked perfectly. Seafood were on point, cooked to perfection. Plus enjoy the nice view of Seattle skyline.

We’ve been to this place a few times before but it has been a few years since our last visit and this time was also our first visit after COVID.
We went there for brunch on a beautiful Saturday morning. The weather was fantastic and we chose the outdoor seating area. It was a covered patio right next to the beach.
Our server was Brad and he was great. He was very attentive to our needs and would always fill our coffee at the right time before we even ask.
The food was good too and we enjoyed what we had ordered.
This is a place I think we will visit again. The outdoor patio was covered and has gas heaters inside so it can be a great place to have brunch or dinner even in the winter month.

Phenomenal experience hands down. Came here for my first trip to Seattle for the iconic skyline view and this restaurant is much more than that! Delicious food, friendly staff, all with an absolutely stunning view. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Seattle or just looking for a delicious restaurant with an amazing view.

The restaurant, the staff, the view were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so polite and friendly. 5/5 for service from everyone. Our server Chrissy who has been there for 18 years was just a gem. She was so kind and did a great job helping us celebrate my mom’s birthday. If you’re looking for a special occasion place, look no further. We felt very taken care of.

Great place at Alki. Delicious sea food with a diverse cocktail/drinks menu. The mango-base Margaritas are special! The views of the Seattle skyline and the green island are wonderful! Food is comparatively pricy but it is worth. Nice staffs, quick service. Visiting again!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. As frequent patrons of the breakfast buffet, it was our first time eating from the dinner menu. Our meals were delicious! We both had the seafood chowder for an appetizer, it was creamy and well flavored. My wife ordered the Louie Louie salad entree which featured shrimp and crab. I ordered the rockfish with shrimp etufee over garlic rice. The staff surprised us at the end with a wonderful a white chocolate raspberry cream cake for our anniversary! All in all it was a superb dining experience..great views, delicious food, waiter service was top notch!

Nicole and the rest of the staff were amazing! Great view of the city from the balcony. Delicious drinks and great food. The lobster meal was great for two, so come hungry! Only thing I didn't really care for is the aesthetic inside (kind of cozy feel with lots of holiday decorations that takes away from the fanciness of the menu).

If there’s a restaurant that possesses everything one would look for, this is the one. The location is beautiful right on water, with city views across the bay. The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated, great lighting and amazing staff. Our waitress Emmarie was so pleasant and gave us great service and recommendations for sight seeing (our first trip to Seattle). The food was just as wonderful as everything else. The hostesses were very pleasant as was the manager Mara. I can’t say enough about this great restaurant. Pictures on the OpenTable app don’t do it justice.

Love our meal here. We came for dinner and was seated near the window with a gorgeous view of Seattle’s night skyline. Most of the food we ordered were really good and I especially love the prawn n lobster bucatini and clam chowder. Service was perfect and our waiter had the initiative to spilt the chowder into 3 small bowls as we were sharing. This review fall short of 1 more star because the sushi roll fell below expectations. I would suggest that they remove this item from the menu. Overall a wonderful delightful dinner.

Fantastic service, wonderful food, and incredible scenery. Be prepared to spend anywhere between $35-80 for entrees, but food is absolutely worth it. I recommend going at sunset so you can watch the view of the city.
Vivian K
Nice brunch here. I'm really loving their fingerling potatoes, which are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have nice eggs Benedict, and good cinnamon rolls which are sweet but not too sweet.
Rachel Dawson
Keen was our server and provided THE BEST customer service ever!!! The good was fantastic although a bit pricey. The view is beautiful. Great place for birthdays, they go above and beyond! I say $50-$100 but Yaya depending on if you get drinks/cocktails. Ask for Keen though!

We have gone to salty's every year for 20 years, except for the covid years. The food is very good, but we come for the service and The view. If you want good dining with exceptionally happy people and stellar views of downtown Seattle across the water then this is the place to be. We love that on the wine menus they feature so many Washington Yakima wines. Keep up the great work Salty's -- we will be back!
Deb Smith
We experienced the very best waiter anyone ever could have. Keen was attentive, and went beyond our expectations of service. He is the best asset the business has. They would do well to ask him to show the other servers what superior customer service is.
Austin
The service is wonderful. The view is amazing. The pasta was well executed. The oysters had a weird taste to it and were ridden with broken shells, but everything else was great. Will definitely be back for another shot.
Kimberly Pham
Not sure why I never reviewed this place! Been coming here off and on for years. This is my favorite place to have Sunday brunch! Their Sunday buffet brunch is amazing. Lots of options, from bottomless mimosa to all sorts of seafood and protein.
I also enjoy the happy hour here. Especially in the summer. Their outdoor seatings are wonderful in the summer. Great locations and views. Spacious parking so no hassle to find parking. The pictures are from our Saturday brunch/Lunch menu.
The Dude Abides
The view was amazing and the service was lightning fast. We shared sides and the entree and it was more than enough. Every dish was definitely on point. The parking lot may leave something to desire. Very tight. But on a Sunday night wasn't bad.
Miyuki Abe
I took my parents here since they saw this restaurant’s review on a guide book and sounded really good. However, our over all experience was not great.
Food was nothing special, no flavor and pretty blunt. The only food I thought it was okay was oysters and cake.
It is still a good spot to see nice Seattle view but expect to pay extra for view not tasty food.
Jeremy Hidey
Salty’s provided an exquisite West Seattle experience. We had a large table of 12 and the service was impeccable throughout. The food was fresh and delicious, with highlights being the New York Strip, Grilled Salmon, and clams.
Jennifer Clark
One of my favorite meals ever! John F. Was a wonderful server and offered really great suggestions. I had the creamy, sweet raw oysters with a nice Prosecco; the scallops and prawns with a Chardonnay and then the famous white chocolate mousse cake with Mexican coffee. Perfect pairings throughout. Incredible views and beautiful décor.
Jamie C
If you’re looking for a bougie dinner where you’re going to drop a couple hundred dollars for a special occasion, this is the place. Eat at night and get a reservation with a view. There’s likely no better view in the city of the downtown cityscape.
The food is 5/5 or 10/10. Best cheesecake I’ve ever had. The halibut was extremely flaky and fresh. Sushi was good but very big, hard to fit it all in your mouth. Would return for another special day or to impress someone. Waiting for brunch to return!
Be Well Within
When every other restaurant I wanted to go to was packed on Friday, we found Saltys on Alki Beach. I have heard good things and decided to try it. It took maybe 30 minutes to get seated and we were outdoors overlooking the Puget Sound. Beautiful views and great atmosphere. Very welcoming staff. The most amazing meal I had was the cinnamon roll appetizer to be honest. My friend got to try his first roll of sushi here which was very fresh. The halibut was caught fresh and cooked delicately to order. For the price, atmosphere, service and food you can't beat it in the area. Would highly recommend and always go back
Lani Jodlowski
Brought some friends here for dinner who were visiting from out of town. They were impressed with the food, ambiance, and most of all the view! I highly recommend coming for dinner so you can enjoy the sunset.
Stephanie Faludi
Went for my husband's birthday. Friendliest, most helpful and enthusiastic waitress! Food was amazing, service was impeccable. Everything was done perfectly, down to the last touch. An awesome birthday card for my husband!
Bethany Icenhower
Looking for views?? Well, look no further! Gorgeous views of Seattle. Sometimes you’ll get lucky enough to see the world famous junk barge parked right out front! Looking for the world’s largest pepper grinder?? Well, look no further!! They got ‘em locked and loaded and are ready to season your meal with only the freshest peppercorns. Looking for oceanic themed decor?? Well, look no further!! Sharks, marlins, rainbow fish - they got ‘em. Their beady eyes only made me feel ~slightly~ guilty as they observed my seafood feast suspended from the ceiling. Overall 10/10 experience. Excellent service. Oh, and they got those fancy blue glasses for water. Will be back!
Anita Cammisano (Nita)
Annamarie was exceptionally attentive this restaurant was very clean and the food fantastic. Great seafood and my first time eating rockfish, excellent. And they even brought our birthday girl a huge delicious piece of cake with candle!
Judith Tegen
Our son worked with the staff to stage a 40th birthday celebration for his wife. The location is spectacular with stunning views of the Seattle skyline. The quality and taste of the food offerings were outstanding. All of the guests remarked about the deliciousness of every food offering in the buffet-appetizers, salad, macaroni n cheese (kid favorite), fruit, salmon and beef tenderloin. The two gentlemen who were the bartender and wait staff were attentive and constantly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was a beautiful event made possible by Salty's.
Erin Low
Wonderful experience here. Service was good, and food was great. Louie Louie was my favourite, in fact, I've made some subpar salads at home to mimic it because I loved it so much.

The srw menu is good value and reasonable portion. Taste is satisfying but not impressive. Probably not gonna return due or being far away but a good food choice for people who live nearby or date night.
Benzene K
Went here for our anniversary dinner back in October and made a reservation just in case. First things first… the view is amazing if you sit outside or closer to the windows it overlooks pretty much all of Seattle and its glory and is even more beautiful at night.
We ordered the Tropical Ice Tea which was surprisingly delicious. And for appetizer we got the Emerald Acres Manila Clams and it tasted a little on the bland side but the texture of the sauce and clams together was really nice.
For our main course we got the Linguine Frutti di Mare which also like the clam was kind of bland but tasted very clean. We also got the Lobster and Prawn Bucatini which was probably the best thing we got there out of everything. It was super creamy and had a lot of flavor.
We ended the night with a free dessert for the special occasion with the White Chocolate Mousse Cake w/ Raspberry Coulis which was amazing it was so soft and moist and melts in your mouth.
Service was pretty average and we didn’t have any complaints about it.
The only thing I thought wasn’t worth it was the price per portion it’s pretty pricey for the size of the pasta dishes we got but I expected it since we were in Seattle and they gotta pay rent somehow.
Overall good experience and I would def come back.
Jocelyn “JM” Martinez
Had an amazing dinner on a rainy Sunday evening! Ambiance is cozy, relaxed, and intimate. The view of the city while you dine is phenomenal.
Highly recommend the sourdough bread appetizer (grilled buttery goodness if you are a bread lover like I am!), and the lobster and prawn buccatini if you’re into pasta dishes (also am a pasta lover!!).
The exotic mimosa was also a nice pairing with the pasta!
Service from check in to our waitress to other staff around the restaurant was nothing short of positive.
Would def recommend this place!!!
Akane Diamond
Amazing view. Awesome waiter. Really enjoyed the food and experience. I had the Halibut and Mango Habenro Margarita. I can also recommend the Calamari. Gluten free options available.
Tracey Stewart
Beautiful spot to view the Seattle downtown! Service was great and the food was good although quite pricy. Was a treat to take the water taxi across the bay also!! Go to Peer 50 to take it. Takes about 20 mins to cross and only costs $5.75
Went with my GF and we had the chowder and sourdough bread to start. She had the halibut and I had the Louie Louie (which is a salad). My GF said the chowder was very good. The sourdough was alright but I have had better. The butter that came with was top notch though. The halibut was amazing my GF said however it was $55!! The salad was great! For $37 I would have expected more crab though. Thus, the four stars. For dessert we had the apple caramel cheesecake. Very light and so tasty but not too sweet!!
OvrlndHI Pohaku
The view and service was great. The food was mediocre to me. They emphasize fresh seafood, but end up killing it with overpowering sauces. It feels touristy, not my type of place. So come for the view and the ambiance.
aldo bardoino
Saltys was a vary cool and amazing experience, I loved hanging out with the family and taking them to experience new things!!! All ordered something different but what makes this saltys better then the other is their front view of Seattle and being by the sea 🌊 is so awesome,
Of course the food is also delicious 😋 and it doesn’t help when the presentation is amazing as well 🤤we absolutely were all very satisfied afterwards! Definitely a place to go back too!
Deborah Soles (Love is the answer!)
Great view of the Seattle skyline and the food was delicious, service was outstanding! This made my first trip to Seattle very memorable! Loved the ambiance!
Brandon Hansen
Honestly the TKO potatos and their mashed potatoes were the highlights. Really great. Fish and shrimp foods that we ordered were pretty standard, that is, good, but not phenomenal or life changing. Restaurant has a great location and panoramic views.
White chocolate mousse cake was a bit one dimensional. But generously portioned.
I don't understand the pepper grinder that is the size of a coat hanger...
Claire McGee
This is our spot to take out of town guests and for birthdays anniversaries and any other reason we can find to celebrate. The chowder is a must and can work as an app or stand alone as a great lunch choice. My hubs and I love the steal head but typically end up with whatever’s on special that night. The only reason it’s 4 and not five is a negative experience my mother in law had when ordering steak. Even after many tries they never got it to her asked for temp. So stick to the seafood
Ciunea Mea
We had an amazing experience! My husband and I were on a tight window for breakfast without our kids and we were accommodated and our server, Chrissy, was so thoughtful and nice to us! Amazing customer service!
Food was of exceptional taste and good looking.
Thank you 😊
Marina Sumrada
Amazing dinner with even better views! Such great servers, incredible food, and a perfect atmosphere - def be sure to make a reservation and come ready for a great evening 🥂 …

My friend and I took the ferry from Seattle to W Seattle for dinner to celebrate a life event, and were very pleasantly surprised with Salty’s. We are from out of town and got this recommendation from an Uber driver. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! A bit pricey so expect to spend a good amount of money when you go - seems to be a great spot for special occasions/celebrations. Overall great experience and incredible view of Seattle especially at nighttime!

Don't forget to add Salty's to your list of restaurants. We started out when it was still light outside and stayed until the sunset. We had the perfect outdoor table right on the water as we sipped on our coconut lime mojitos. You can see the entire cityscape of Seattle from here. I had my first Dungeness crab and I could have eaten more. It was sweet and tender and the butter sauce to dip it in took the taste to another level of amazingness. We also shared the blue cheese wedge salad and a plate of amazing sushi filled with spicy shrimp and scallops, tempura asparagus, cream cheese, miso aioli, sriracha with a crispy coconut finish.

If you're into seafood then this place is for you! So beautiful and the food and and staff are amazing. They made us feel so welcomed. We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The best time to eat here is at night cos you get to dine over the water & get the beautiful view of Seattle all lit up. They decorated our table and gave us a card. We ordered the chowder, grilled salmon, surf & turf and seafood mix grill. It was so delicious and top it all off We had some passionfruit mimosas. For dessert they gave us a big piece of white chocolate cake with strawberry filling as a complimentary for our anniversary. Yum and we were so stuffed! We will definitely eat here again. Thanks Salty's!
Kevin Morimoto
The family went here today for my little brother's birthday and we had excellent service from Tracy, who is friendly and awesome. The timing from our appetizers, entrees and dessert flowed so nicely and our water was always filled. Everyone loved their meal, my brother and I both had the Colossal Bering Sea Red King Crab Leg, we did the combo which included the Huge King Crab Leg, chowder, caesar salad & white chocolate mousse cake.
Tasnim Khan
Seattle restaurants week and had to get into Saltys! Their $35 3 course meal was exquisite, my husband and I ordered salty Caesar, chowder for first course. Main course we got the steak and steelhead and for desserts we got the White chocolate mouse and red velvet cake. For drinks I got the Gorman by the glass which was so good and my husband got the bodizhafa. The service was excellent and with the view the night was amazing! Do recommend taking the deal until it lasts or just drop by with your spouse or full family they got you covered for sure!
P.s sorry forgot to take picture of the drinks and the red velvet cake

Great place to celebrate your birthday. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful view, nice ambiance and great food. I recommend requesting a vie when making a reservation, go at sunset
C Mongold
Keen served us tonight! Everything was above and beyond expectations. The food was a 10+, service was even higher! We truly had the best meal ever.
C. Stein
My husband and I always come here for either a super late lunch or a super early dinner to avoid the crowd. Because this place is so good that there's almost always a crowd. The service is always excellent; prompt service, friendly wait staff, and appropriately attentive. The food, especially their seafood, is phenomenal. Not only is it always cooked perfectly, but the flavors and texture is always bang on. Attached with this review is their Smothered Rockfish and the Cioppino. The rockfish is covered in this incredibly etouffe and seasoned Cajun style. The picture of the Cioppino doesn't do it justice. That bowl had so much shrimp, bay scallops, large chunks of white fish and salmon, it could have fed two people. The broth for it was intensely flavorful.
Tip for dining here as a couple: talk with your partner about what two dishes you would both want to have. Order them and then eat half of it before swapping the dishes with one another. The portions are large enough no matter what entree you order that the both of you will be full and you'll be able to have two different dishes.

I’m a business traveler 35-40 weeks per year. I’ve been travelling to the Pacific Northwest for more than 25 years. Whenever possible I make time for dinner or lunch at Salty’s. I am most fond of Salty’s on Alki Beach. Whenever possible I try to arrive at opening time, so I can get seat by the water overlooking downtown Seattle, the best skyline in America. (Yeh, I said it J). Suffice it to say the seafood is always fresh, prepared beautifully and the service is always top notch and friendly. I frequently pace myself so I can make room for dessert too.
Katia Garcia
Came on a Saturday for breakfast. The service and atmosphere was great. The food was good, but nothing I'm running back to. I ordered the Shakshuka which was good, but I prefered the roasted fingerling potatoes outside the plate instead of soaked in the sauce. The Sunday brunch here is a great option and a staple in the city.
Joyce Pollard
We really enjoyed this restaurant! We sat on the patio and there were beautiful views of sound and the Space Needle and other Seattle landmarks. It was a little difficult getting there because of the road construction, but the food and the ambiance was worth it. The service was great! The Salmon Caesear Salad was so good!
Tilden Clark
The food was Great! Chrissy was our server and she made the experience even better. I come to Salty's every time I come back to Seattle.
Jason Wragge
Lived here for two years now. My biggest regret is not coming here sooner! Amazing food! Top notch service. Some of the best views in the Seattle area as well. Your doing your family a disservice if you don't bring them here when they visit.
Rushini Jayawardena
Went here as their buffet was highly recommended. Unfortunately, they have discontinued their buffet due to covid. Beautiful view, underwhelming food. The calamari was good, but everything else was highly mediocre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu can use some work. Would not recommend for brunch.
Jazz Carper
Just got into town and had to come for some seafood, we got the prawn cocktail some oysters, and coippion! It was all so amazing! I also had a huckleberry lemon drop as well and I loved it! (This was all gluten free!!!)
Our server Ciara was just amazing, love this place!
Emelyn Hopkins
The view is wonderful, food amazing. We had lobster, prawns bucatini, cioppino, and stuffed salmon. Laura or server was great, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. We took the ferry over, beautiful trip.
Lacey Esplin
The food wasn't everything I expected it to be but you come to Salty's for the view. It is unbeatable. Don't get me wrong, the food was DELICIOUS, just wasn't what I was expecting. I had the bucatini, which was heaven. My wife had the cod fish and chips, which she said didn't have much flavor. We also had the chowder, bread, and sushi roll for appetizers. I loved the chowder. The bread was drenched in oil, so it was okay. The sushi roll was HUGE. Never have I seen a sushi roll rolled so big. It was meh. But, I told them it was my birthday and they decorated the table, gave me a signed card, and I got cake at the end of my meal. The experience was PHENOMENAL. Would I go again? IN A HEARTBEAT.
Bella
All the seafood here was absolutely delicious! Great service and views as well! Omg get the white chocolate mousse cake though. I hate white chocolate, and I thought that dessert was bomb!
Just a heads up, parking is terrible. Drive with a compact car if possible. Restaurant was also kind of hot during August. Maybe eat outdoors during the summer.
Priya Ball
Delicious food and excellent service. The best part of Salty's has to be the great view of downtown Seattle. The food is expensive, but it is high quality and the location and atmosphere are part of what you are paying for. There is a great outdoor seating area that is fully covered which is great during covid. I got the scallops and they were delicious.
Calvin Cui
This is my favorite restaurant. Never Let me down. Their view is the best among all restaurants at big Seattle area, Recommended.
Deidra Butler
Unbelievable views and excellent service. Our server Nash was on top of his’ A’ game even while being challenged by another “zesty” patron. I actually enjoyed and appreciated all the staff we encountered that day. They truly made me feel like royalty. The food was really great and portions were very generous.
Doña Bárbara
We had dinner in Salty’s. It was our first time there. We loved it. The prices are good. Food and service were excellent. Everything looked cleaned and maintained. The view to the puget sound was marvelous. I recommend Salty’s restaurant for any occasion; one will not regret.
Fidel Bañuelos
Overall a great place. Great view of the Seattle skyline and ambiance. Our server, Keen, was great and attentive. Two negatives are the seat cushions and loud music. The seats did not offer support and I'm guessing it's because they're old and worn out.
Jessica Harris
Delicious food and great views. The interior and exterior design is unique and provides a great experience. The salmon was delectable.
Chad Dudzek
Dined here while in town for a celebration. We were seated with a fantastic view of the city skyline. Strip steak was flavorful and tender. All seafood dishes were plentiful in size, great presentation and quality. Raw oysters tasted very fresh. White chocolate cake was very fluffy and decadent, paired excellent with Port wines. I would highly recommend this restaurant again and again.
Aaron Book
Amazing views of downtown Seattle. The food was good. My wife got poke bowl and coconut prawns. I got the shrimp and lobster pasta and started with local oysters. The oysters were delicious. Although they were out of Woodford Reserve for my Old Fashioned, subbed with Makers. Staff was very friendly.
Terrie Snell
I am here in Washington on business and was told that I had to try this place and they did not disappoint!
The food was really good, our Server "Brody" was awesome, and the view was Amazing!!!
We really enjoyed our time and money spent here at Salty's. Worth every dime!
Asher Jacob
This was the first food spot my girlfriend and I stopped at when visiting Seattle. We were very impressed with everything we encountered: the food, service and atmosphere.
Our server Ciara was so kind and genuine. She answered all our questions/concerns about our gluten free/celiac dietary restrictions. Laura was also very kind and helpful.
There were a good number of gluten free options, and the staff were knowledge about the questions we asked pertaining to the ingredients.
This is our second time coming here, and it is our favorite seafood spot here. It is very pricey, but it's expected at a seafood spot like this.
Diana Scalia
I arrived in Seattle on a Friday afternoon and Salty’s was my first experience in town! My lovely friend who lives in West Seattle promised me we’d be made to feel very special there and she was right. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated kindly at a fine table with a view. Nash our server came to call and was our new best friend right away. With our celebratory Prosecco, we ordered nearly one of everything from the appetizers menu to share - the Coconut Shrimp with yummy pineapple salsa, the Manila Clams which were so incredibly delicious with fennel, carrot, and grilled bread-all so amazing, the Slab Salad which they do very kindly split on two plates for us, and the TKO Potatoes with aioli - perfection!! Regrettably, we promised to get dessert next time because we were too full…we started missing our dear Nash as soon as we asked for the check!
My entire long weekend in Seattle, surrounded by beautiful friends, was off to such a special start with this warm, welcoming, and wonderful evening at Salty’s. Thank you all so very much💕
Michael Gonzales
We had an amazing meal at Salty's in Portland, so we thought we would try the Seattle restaurant. Our dinner was after the sun had set and our window seat had an amazing view of the lights of downtown Seattle. The staff at Salty's were great. Nash, out waiter, was very attentive and checked in on us many time. Our drinks & appetizer came quickly. There was far more calamari than we could eat, as well as bread, before our meal. Our entrees came quickly and looked delicious. The prawns & grilled scallops were the best! I had rock fish, that was good, but the scallops were my favorite. Our entire experience was top notch. The meal was a bit pricey overall, but treat yourself to a great experience at Salty's. Indulge...
Valerie Wong
Great view especially at night all city lights are on.
Great server enchanted my birthday dinner.
Great seafood quality was the major factor to bring us back again.
John T. Oliver
Amazing view of Downtown Seattle and Puget Sound. The evening view is spectacular! Food is delicious, great presentation, five star service! Our table had the fish and chips, burger, and higher end entrees, and everyone was very satisifed.
Marsha Krebs
Food was average for the price. Service was ok. Try to go for happy hour or seated upstairs near the window facing Seattle, if you really want to go here.
Kimsan Sim
We got what we had requested for: nice seating with great water view of Seattle. Service was great and friendly, food on another hand was okay we ordered
1. Calamari that was really good with a nice touch of seasoning.
2. Seafood calm chowder was the BOMB.
3. Steak skewers was good, but hard to chew.
4. Crab cake and scallops (not so great) crab cake was too plain.
5. Cocktail drinks it was okay I had better elsewhere.
6. Grilled asparagus and bacon wrap pretty good just a little too salty.
Overall experience the restaurant was nice and clean, but pricey.
Mike Klubok
On the west side of Seattle a short water taxi ride from the other side of Seattle. For starters a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline. Brody our server was personable and spot on with her recommendation of the oysters and the king leg entree which Andrea and I shared. For dessert, we indulged in the white chocolate mousse cake. It all was good. A little pricy but worth it especially given the generous portion.
Karen Raymond
We had an excellent dining experience at Salty's. We arrived around 8:30 with a reservation and had to wait about 10 minutes for our table, which was a corner table at sunset overlooking the water. The view was amazing, wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered lobster buccatini, a blackened salmon salad and the day's special - all were fantastic. The cherry old fashioned did not seem to have any alcohol in it but they had a great wine list and had some good value specials on local wines (Mondays only).

I come to Salty's every time I am in Seattle and am never disappointed. Food, service, ambiance, & location are all excellent. I had the wild Alaskan Salmon filet with saffron risotto & fresh asparagus...YUMMY! My friend had the Seafood Mixed Grill, salmon, halibut, & shrimp on skewers with roasted corn grits...also delish 😋 I can't wait to come back.
Dan Loyola
Outstanding food, awesome view, great service.
We are regulars here. We come here multiple times a year.
This is our first time back since the pandemic began / 3 years ago.
Nothings changed, outstanding service, super delicious food, amazing view.
Highly recommended restaurant.
Raman Morris
Food here is consistently mediocre. For example the eggs in the shashuka were hard boiled, not even jammy, let alone runny. If you stick to seafood, you won't be disappointed. But what you pay for is the views, really. Patio dining is absolutely gorgeous on a warm sunny afternoon. Good spot to bring out of town guests to, as well. Food 2 stars, ambience and service 5 stars.
Percy Pomeroy
I would give this place 6 stars if Google allowed it. The steelhead was fantastic. Do not forget to order the cake! Great views of the city. The giant pepper mill was a bit frightening.
jake vangilder
Took my mother for her birthday.
The food was perfect, the view was breathtaking, and the service was very nice
James Woodard
Probably the best view of the city there is. Staff & Service was good/friendly. A bit pricy for what it is, but for the view I guess their able to charge it.
Nishie Freeman
Great place for a Birthday Celebration 🎉 I reserved on Open Table and they greeted us with confetti on waterfront view table with a signed card. Food was delicious, calamari was a plus👏🏻

Went here for a dinner during vacation.
Food was excellent and the view was superb.
Oyster was so good, ended up ordering another dozen.
They also had 50% off bottle on Mondays which was a plus.
They had a 4% surcharge on total bill. I asked what it was and I was told that it's to cover server min wage. Servers there get paid $15+/hr.
I wonder if 20% tip is necessary.
Overall, good value and experience.

Had a great time while Seattle was changing from day to night. Last meal of 2022. Great views, great food, great service.
Daniela Bailey
Wonderful views. You can enjoy the view of the blue ocean, the Seattle skyline, etc.
In terms of food, I think it is a little pricey for what you get. Good quality but not incredible.
Great service.
Just found out they have 4 dollar rosé and 2 dollar oyster all day Thursdays!
Tanía W
Was there a couple of months ago with my family! Had the most amazing time! Our server was Nash (he said everyone called him Nacho), he was very attentive and knowledgeable in regards to the menu. Food was delicious and the bartender was serving up fantastic drinks. 10/10 views as well!
James Miller
Salty's has one of the most picturesque settings of any restaurant by the water. It's view of Elliott Bay and Seattle is enchanting. We took the ferry from Seattle to the West Seattle pier with Salty's being only a short walk from the pier. We enjoyed dinner on their outdoor patio that was tented and quite comfortable and warm with their torch heaters. The food was comforting on a cool, rainy day. Salty's was recommended to us by a friend who said it was the best seafood restaurant in the area. Although the food didn't quite meet that expectation for us, we enjoyed our experience overall at Salty's.
Karen Osborn
The food! The views! The service! A truly wonderful dining experience.
Tee Man
I've loved Salty,s for years I brought my parents from San Diego for brunch and was a bit disappointed by the tiny menu. They are using COVID as an excuse to no longer have the buffet style brunch that they've had for years. And that would not bother me if they had a large breakfast and lunch option but the breakfast menu is very very tiny I don't want to misrepresent but I'm thinking eight items. Our server was very very awesome and I think because of him we still enjoyed ourselves and of course the view is perfect.
Yuka
Weekend brunch and lunch was tasty. The view is amazing.
Sylvia Smothers
Salty's on Alki Beach is an excellent dining experience. You enter into a spacious restaurant where there's also a bar you can sit or you can sit at one of the tables some with magnificent views of the water. They also have an outdoor area which is covered in case it's raining. The service is second to none and the food is delicious. I believe anyone dining here will have a great experience.
Adriano Donastorg
It's a Visual experience that you must try. Presentation was absolutely beautiful and outside dining is available.
Nicole Cannon
Went here for a work function and we had a room in the basement that opened up to a patio on the water which was absolutely stunning. We had a private bar tender who made the same drink a different way every time you ordered it, however he had two trainees behind the counter with him. The drinks were still good though! We had appetizers which were sliders and crab cakes. Both were really good. Moving onto the main dishes, this is where things got rocky. There was a salad, mashed potatoes, asparagus, swordfish, and red meat. The salad was an average salad, mashed potatoes were unseasoned, and asparagus was over cooked. When it comes to the swordfish I didn't try it, and the red meat was so rare it was not edible. It could have been because it was a big party. Would go back without a big party to try other dishes.
Jacob Bonzo
Outstanding service. Went for a special occasion and the staff made us a magical night. Shout out to Ryan for being amazing. Had shrimp, halibut, and salmon. All cooked perfectly. White cake for dessert was delicious.
Donald Heyrich
Sunday brunch with an unbeatable view, friendly and attentive service, and delicious dishes. Removing one star because of the nonsensical 4% “service charge” tacked on to the bill, all of which goes to the owners and none to the hard working professionals who work here. I respectfully suggest that, if you want to increase revenue by 4%, raise your prices conspicuously instead of surprising diners with a “service charge” that may well affect well deserved tips for staff.
Blen Hadgu
We went here for a birthday and the staff was so welcoming and kind they put a candle on the cake and gave me a card with their signatures. The food was wonderful and this was overall a good experience. I definitely recommend coming here!
Mina Kang
Very nice night view and vibes. Perfect place to go with your partners.
Nicole Batchelor
Fabulous! Staff were fantastic, best view in Seattle for dinner.
Laura McLeod
Disappointing. The view is spectacular. The 1936 roll was fantastic; a great starter for 4 of us. Service was spotty but I know that's true in many places right now as places struggle to find staff. However, compared to other local, high-end seafood restaurants, they missed the mark. $60-ish for a dish with 2 scallops and 3 pieces of shrimp. They really need to up their salad game; two of us ordered salads and while there was plenty of 'salad' shrimp, there may have been a teaspoon of crab, drab vegetables, and overall were less than stellar. And really basic, boring choices--like 1950 called and wants its salads back. With so many great options for fresh ingredients here in the northwest, they could seriously do better. I expected better. Dessert was decent.
Kabir Mitter
Stopped here as my last stop before flying out of Seattle back home and man, the food is amazing and so are the views. Definitely going back there again when I visit.
Jim Ratchford
Salty's is a wonderful restaurant. The whole experience starts with the fantastic views across the Sound and the Seattle skyline. Our hostess seated us quickly and provided us with a great table. Our server was very attentive. We started with clam chowder. It's among the best. Then, we shared an Alaskan King Crab leg. Not as fresh as we're used to. At $85, a little disappointing. Our main course was the scallops plate with rice cakes. This was a real treat. We had a little room for dessert and went with the berries shortcake. It promised to be drenched in berry saurce. It was more desert than dessert. The angel food cake was more dense than the norm and there was a serious shortage of sauce. We're glad Salty's is open for indoor dining. In the end, our experience was good, but not great.
Jordan Maddox
Wow! This meal was incredible. Cameron was our waiter and he was attentive and friendly. This was our last stop visiting Seattle and we can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for some fine dining with a beautiful view and the freshest seafood, look no further.
Rachel Park
It's so nice place.
We were reservation and their ready to nice table.
Staff was kind and friendly.
I love this place seafood chowder.
And pan seared scallops really really goooood.
All food were so good.
Their gave dessert cake because we are anniversary day.
I recommend for this restaurante.
Noel J
No bottomless mimosas, know that. Mimosas are offered per glass or you can buy a bottle to serve yourself. Brunch is still yummy though.
If view is at all important, make a reservation! This is a relaxed, upscale environment.
The view of DT Seattle is nice. Plenty of seals swimming around. Parking can get a little cramped...don't bring the XL vehicle.
Jake Lambson
Chowder was completely flavorless. Like none. Cambell’s has more flavor. The coco prawns should have been good. Everyone knows coco prawns are usually paired with a sweet chili or mango sauce. These were but they were drenched in cocktail sauce which clashed bad with the mango and coconut.
On the bright side the Halibut was excellent. You can tell it’s fresh. Also the apple pie cheesecake was surprisingly the star of the meal
Overall 3.5/5
Isaac Wiedenmeyer
I went here with my friends for a Saturday breakfast. I hear they normally have a great brunch but that is suspended for the time being.
The breakfast menu had about 6/7 items on it and they all sounded great. They also offer anything from their full regular menu as well. I ordered the Shakshuka and added sausage. It was very tasty and filling. My friends had the Nola omelet and the Croque Madame. They were both happy with their choices. The Croque Madame looked amazing by the way and it had truffle fries with it that tasted awesome.
I also had a guava mimosa which was great and one of my friends had the spicy Bloody Mary which he said was very spicy and that's saying something because he likes spicy.
We are outside on the deck and they had us in a clear sided enclosure that kept it almost too warm as the sun was out. Eventually the waitress opened the side of it and that made it much more pleasant.
I would definitely go back and hope they can reopen they're full brunch soon!
june hirose
Great service, great view and great food! Take advantage of the Mon/Tues 3 course meal, drinks and oysters. Celebrated a late birthday and they gave us a huge slice of cake... each. Yes it took 2 days to finish the yumminess.
Rob Hill
Brunch is still closed due to COVID, but that doesn't mean you still can't enjoy some amazing breakfast food and beverages, while enjoying a spectacular view.
Tried the Korean chicken and waffles and it was excellent. Great bar drinks and the usual great service you can always expect from Salty's. Get in there before we get rolled back to 25% seating!
Jason Lee
The food and drink at Salty's have always been consistent. The cocktails are outstanding. Their seafood is fresh and tasty. My only issue is with the service. The wait staff is friendly, but they disappear too often. We waited over 30 minutes for a check during our last visit, and it was obvious that we were done and ready to go. We couldn't even wave her down because she was not around.
Cory B
Excellent! Food was amazing, drinks were excellent, service was incredible. It was my bfs birthday, they had a birthday card signed by the staff and the table was decorated with happy birthday decorations and fresh cut flowers. We had an amazing window travel with great views of downtown and the Port. The staff even pointed out a mouring near by where a family of sea lions were hanging out.
Jeremiah Mahler
Went for Saturday brunch. The service was great, the food not so much. The asparagus was undercooked and was like gnawing on bamboo. The eggs benedict had hard yolks when they should've been runny. The crab was good but it isn't that hard to steam a crab. And the coffee was nothing special which should be a mortal sin in a coffee town like Seattle.
I really wanted to like Salty's but their food was disappointing.
Shelly Cronk
We were at a private party downstairs that included an outdoor deck on the water and it was beautiful! The service was wonderful, everyone was so nice and accommodating. The food was delicious! I can't wait to go back!
Alyssa Metz
SO AMAZING! Everything was super fresh and delicious! If your hungry for some really good seafood come here!! Everyone was sooo nice and so helpful! Beautiful look out too! The seafood was the best seafood I’ve ever had!! Amazing!
Phoenix Li
Seafoods are so fresh and delicious, great staffs and service. We were there for our anniversary dinner, highly recommended this place for special occasions.
Lucia Mendez
Salty's never disappoint. Amazing food and amazing service. Always take my friends from out of town for the incredible views and food. Love the huckleberry lemon drop. The grits were so good.
Jordan Barr
My parents and I went to Salty’s on Alki for my dads birthday celebration and it didn’t disappoint! They sat us right in the corner near the water at table 1, which was amazing and gave us a great sunset. Service was nicely paced, and I’d wired was friendly and helpful, but not overly attentive. The restaurant was pretty quiet. I forgot to take pics of the food but it was all delicious! I had a brand new to the menu dish (and forgive me because I might mis name it) lobster cream sauce pasta dish which was incredible. The cocktails were all delicious too!
And best of all they brought out a nice birthday cake with candle in it! Overall, will definitely be back for a nice dinner.
Kristen Melega
Salty's is my FAVORITE option for a last-minute date night or for hosting out-of-town guests.
Food:
I have been to Salty's roughly ~8 times now in the last year and I have yet to have a bad meal. Everything has been delicious. I'd highly recommend the Salty's Caesar (quite possibly the best Caesar salad I've ever had, add a lump of crab meat for a real treat), the Essential Baking Co Frilled Fremont Sourdough, the oysters, the Louie Louie salad, the Pan Seared Scallops & Prawns, and the Smothered Rockfish. Pro-Tip: Bottles of PNW wines are 50% off on Mondays!
Location:
First and foremost, the location is wonderful. Now that that West Seattle bridge is open again, it's incredibly easy to get to and it offers some of the best views of the Seattle skyline. During the warmer months, it's so much fun to sit outside on one of their outdoor patios/decks and watch the sunset reflect off the downtown buildings . They do have heaters for those chillier evenings!
LA
Absolutely love their weekend brunch with variety of fresh seafood. Our server is super friendly and attentive.
Only wish they had a unlimited mimosa option like other brunch places because the price for cocktails here is quite high.
Christina Rexer
Loved this destination. We had a great lunch. Seen harbor seals. You can see the space needle across the bay and the food is amazing. The coconut shrimp appetizer is a must try if you like shrimp. Staff was wonderful. It's pretty much a must do if your in area. Price is average about 17-25. Plate. I think they have a dinner menu that's different than lunch.
Kal S
Great food! Service was exceptional.
X K
Food is ok, but the view is great. We had waited for half hour to get our dinner, appetizers were served quickly tho.
BTW, just noticed a 4% surcharge on my receipt, unhappy with that.
Joaquin Ramirez
Superb food with best views of Seattle, a great experience!
Bailey Orozco
One of Seattle’s OG places to dine. The weekend brunch is great and has lots of options! They also have great happy hour and dinner too. Do not sleep on their White Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake either, hands down, theee best cake! A must go to!
Katie Collins
Visually stunning vistas. Excellent food. A bit pricey but you won't be disappointed as the wait staff are attentive without being intrusive, the freshness of ingredients and quality preparation are the result and the views all add to the experience of dining at Salty's. A Fine Dining experience in a comfortable, relaxed, no need for dress up establishment. Job well done says this tourist and local hosts.
Mary Kletzing
Our server was Chad. He did such a great job for us. He was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. Everyone at Saltys is happy - both the diners & employees. The view of the boats, wildlife, water, boats & mountains is breathtaking. You can't go wrong eating at Saltys. The food is excellent. We are from Ohio and every time we're in Seattle, we make sure to eat at Saltys. Best restaurant in Seattle.

Had a great birthday celebration the manager went above and beyond
Nicholas Linthicum
I went for the brunch. It was pretty good. The view was great despite the weather. It seemed like we got pretty lucky with our seating though, so your experience might vary. Overall, the decor and atmosphere was spectacular. This was obviously due to the exceptional work of the staff. The food was good, but it left me asking was it worth the price. I got a decent variety of the prepared food and skipped the make your own pasta and omelettes. The food from the chafing dishes was lukewarm at best. It was good, but don't expect it to be super hot. My cousin had told me that the macaroni & cheese was his favorite. It was warm (not hot), watery, and kind of cheesy. It honestly reminded me of an alfredo instead of mac & cheese. The desserts looked immaculate, but didn't line up well with their labels. They tasted great though. Overall, I would say you are paying the most for the atmosphere, the view, and the all-you-can-hog crab legs, but probably not the mac & cheese. It was a great time, just remember to keep your food expectations reasonable and to not be surprised if your view features a barge of gravel instead of the Space Needle.
TX Rider70 (R.E.B.E)
Best brunch ever, place has a nice view to the lake, servers were on top of our questions and needs, great service. About the food, crab lovers will not be disappointed with endless three varieties hot and cold, also oysters were just fresh as it can be. All seafood was exceptional, roasted beef was not that great (well ... coming from Texas what else could I say, we have the best BBQ, brisket, ribs, burgers .... JMHO ). Smoked salmon was another winner. They have much more to enjoy including made to order Crepes, pasta, pizza and more.
Hey, save space for the deserts, It was not an exception, fresh pastry, fruit and more.
Highly recommended (as a side note this is not a low budget buffet, be prepare to pay for high quality food)
Oleg “Blessed” Blessed
We get best service very time we go. Food is amazing. Would recommend for anybody just for lunch or special occasion. View is amazing.
Brandi B
There was a HUGE selection of food. We enjoyed everything from the omelette station to the carved station (and all the yumminess in between). It was our 1st visit and impossible to try it all, so the plan is to get back ASAP so we can continue our mission to do so. The staff was awesome (especially Megan), the view beautiful, and just an overall great experience!!
Katelyn
Great food and a beautiful view of Seattle!
Karen Christine
Amazing view, delicious appetizers and entrees. Our server, Brian was great and very knowledgeable of the menu. Can’t wait to visit again and try other items.
Carrie Branch
Salty's was a phenomenal dining experience! It was everything I've dreamed for in a brunch buffet, plus more!! The staff was very friendly and polite to assist. The atmosphere is very nice and kinda upscale, but without being pretentious. It definitely helps to pace yourself and have a game plan prior to attacking the buffet. I can't wait to go back!
bryan b
My favorite place for the best views of the city. This was my parent's first date, then my own first with my wife and it's a perfect setting on just about any day. Looking east over the water with the sun setting behind you illuminates the city like no other spot. Not to mention the food is wonderful. If you're staying in the city, I have found the best way to enjoy this treasure is to take the water taxi over which just adds to the experience. If I could give it 10 starts I would!
P_A M_U
The Mixed Grilled Seafood was amazing. The salmon & halibut could have been grilled about 1-2 min longer, but still delicious.
The Prawn Puttanesca was was fantastic. We had the Essential Baking Grilled Sourdough with Boursin whipped butter...... was soooo good, but 1 piece does you well.
Staff was solid. Our waiter was nice but not overly attentive, but good nonetheless. My sister & her hubby like Alki location.... I prefer Redondo. Its very cool that they've used parts of the viaduct as art! 😆😊
Any Salty's is worth the price. ....and prices are $$$ for sure. Don't complain if you're going to complain about the prices.
Laura Krahel
The food, the service, the city views—all superb! We made a reservation earlier in the evening to leave time to catch the sunset at Alki Beach after dinner. At Salty's we ordered a bottle of wine, the grilled fremont sourdough and oysters as a starter, followed by dungeness crab and the lobstee and prawn bucatini.
Mark Hughes
Such a prize location and iconic place. But with all the great Seattle restaurants, a few key decor changes could make this something really special like it was when they first opened. The inside is so nice but they need to change out the carpet, tables and chairs, get rid of the really ornate and tacky decor and give an updated paint job.
The patio and deck is spot on though, modern patio furniture, fire pits, really nice clear tents and right on the water.
Staff is awesome, place is clean and nice and the food is good. You can tell that the clientele is dropping off for more trendy places down on Alki. Salty's is an iconic destination but if they hired the right interior designer and spent some money on just a few key elements it would be on the best in Seattle list. I've been hoping they'd do this for years now.
Also a really great venue location. Easily 5 star place with a few updates! Come on salty's we're waiting!
Daniel Brüggemann
Even on a cloudy day, the view to the Seattle skyline was amazing.
Fish and chips were really tasty and the service was on point!
Can highly recommend!
Diana Seaders
We made reservations for dinner just prior to sunset. We did wait just a few minutes for a window seat, which was completely worth it, as the view was breathtaking! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Brian took wonderful care of us. What a special night- we will be back! Thank you everyone at Salty’s, keep up the good work!
Minh Nguyen
This rating is mainly for happy hour menu/food. Prices are pretty steep for happy hour: $5 for tiny slider, $5 for one taco. Beer at $5, which is regular price everywhere else. Other cocktail drinks are at least $10. Calamari is greasy. Pretty mediocre food in general.
scott Conver
Unfortunately, until the brunch buffet comes back it's just meh. The menu items are uninspired and don't even showcase local PNW ingredients. Lobster bucatini..... Lobster can't even be found on the west coast.... Why dear God why not showcase some of the impressive ingredients found locally??
Alisha
I went there last month and the place was peaceful and socially distant. The outdoor seatings are perfect for the sea view so you might want ti reserve a table in advance. The food and drink was good but a bit pricy but overall I liked the vibe of the place.
Victor Liao
To start, the view is probably one of the best you can get, seeing the city across the water is pretty spectacular whilst dining on good food. While I wasn't particularly amazed by the Mixed Grill entrée that I ordered (prawns and halibut), I did really like the clams and the oysters I had as starters, which I thought were some of the best I've had in a while. The service was A+ as well. For sure a solid spot for any occasion.
Adri sede
Great views of the city, outdoor friendly space, letting us sit far from others 👏👏, food was overall very well cooked and we enjoyed it, although it was not the tastiest we've had.
Jason & Rhona Wahl
Yet, again another amazing night dining at Salty’s on Alki. Thanks so much to our great servers and staff as always who made our dining memorable and enjoyable. We were very impressed with our high quality of service, not to mention family and kid friendly! Oh the view and food.... speechless!!! We HIGHLY recommend this place! They never disappoint us. Thumbs up again to Salty’s on Alki you guys rock!!! 👍🏼
Elizabeth Thorman
We came for happy hour which was great. Good drink & food specials & friendly staff. This was our first time & we will be back. There is also a beautiful view of downtown Seattle. They have a nice outdoor patio, but we sat inside by the fireplace. We came on a Friday & the lounge area was lively with live music (piano & trumpet) Happy hour is M-F 3-6pm & Saturday & Sunday 4-6pm. Our waitress Sage was very friendly & helpful answering our questions.
Tim S
This is a second time coming here. Such an amazing place to dine. Great ambiance with multiple delicious selections. Try to get a seat near the water. Such a beautiful view of downtown Seattle. Occasionally you get to see the sea life swimming around. We will make this location a place to come for special occasions. Fine dining that needs to be budgeted for. Save room for dessert, you want to try the white cake.
Crystal Ng
Legit seafood place with great views of seattle. Recommend the shrimp and scallops and oysters. They also have half price wine of mondays.
Wilson Chen
This is great restaurant, the view is amazing. The service is warm and nice and helpful. The food here is wonderful as well. The well of cook is just right. The seafood is fresh for sure. The taste is a bit too salty for me personally. Maybe this is how the named this restaurant lol.
Ethan Tchan
Fish n chips, 1/4 lbs burger, sushi roll, clams, and wedge salad. Cant go wrong. Still wishing they would bring back the weekend brunch again
Joe Chow
We just came here for their New Years Day brunch buffet special; also our very first time to Salty's.
Parking is free and there is a concierge if desired. I believe dinner time is more packed, but overflow parking is allowed onto the street.
Check-in is prompt, especially if you have a reservation. Service is excellent: everyone is very professional, quick, and courteous, offering hot towels to wipe our hands, obliging our request for an extra chair, and switching out our empty shellfish shell bowl way before we can even think of asking them to (trust me it fills up fast!).
Awesome view of the Harbor Ave waterfront, with the Downtown skyline in the distance.
Food is amazing! This for me has been arguably the best buffet I've ever had, and for what you get, it is a great value. Tons of options, ranging from dungeness crab, steamer clams, crusted salmon, oysters on the halfshell, a plethora of hot cooked dishes, fruits, salads, and a row of fresh-made desserts (and a chocolate fountain!). I personally spent most of my efforts gorging on dungeness crab legs 😅.
Definitely would recommend Salty's for anyone craving a seafood feast!
Peter Schulte
We have enjoyed Salty's for special occasions through the years. But Friday we got a seafood meal for two in a net bag to prepare at home. It came boxed attractively with frozen packets. After twelve minutes in simmering water, we dumped it onto a platter, poured the sauce into a bowl for dipping toasted French bread, and enjoyed a wonderful meal of shellfish, corn on the cob, mini potatoes -- all finger food. It was deliciously spicy, not at all overwhelming.
We each ate a lot! Great with chilled white wine and dark beer. We had leftovers for two so the cost of $60 was VERY reasonable.
The Alaska king crab legs were so (expletive removed) delicious! So were the sweet corn, prawns and colorful potatoes. One was actually a dark purple yam. OMG OMG
When I picked it up I had a yearning to dine there again. Great atmosphere and service. Signs on the floor said "Swim six feet apart." -- stuff like that makes it fun. The diners were safely spaced apart from each other.
I grabbed a few postcards advertising their other take-out offerings. One is to pick three of five dishes for $30.00. We'll probably try it soon.
Thank you, Salty's folks, for enriching our lives!
Yesterday we tried to our great satisfaction! the Game Day take-out, pick three of 5 dishes, Sundays only. You can see from the pictures where we got the cocktail shrimp, the cheeseburger and fries, and the hot wings, though of course, Salty's being Salty's, the menu items have cute names like "flappers." LOL
Wow, it's good food! The mistake we made was to order a side of fries as well, not knowing what the portions would be like. For $30.00 it seemed like a very good deal. My wife mentioned that the burger on the regular menu is $13.00, which sounds about right for an upscale place like Salty's. Is it a half-pounder? We both had our fill. Anyhow, I had the leftover fries reheated in the oven at work and enjoyed them quite a bit. There's a choice of sauce for the wings and we went for the classic. I love Tabasco, so their Cajun kind of sauce was fine for me, but hot! Next time we'll try the Korean BBQ sauce, sweeter and make with soy sauce. The shrimp was fresh and lightly dusted with parsley. It came with traditional cocktail sauce, while with wings came with a tasty ranch dressing.
It was so perfect to have a picnic there at Alki. In the summer, forget it. It's so crowded that parking is a real problem. But this time of year parking was easy and we found a couple of tables, but forgot to bring a tablecloth, so we opted to share a bench with the food between us. We had brought our own cans of Diet Coke.
We had chores to do at home Sunday afternoon but the sunshine and the delicious Salty's food inspired us to play hooky. We spent the rest of the daylight wandering around University Village shopping mall. With Salty's in your day, the living is good! I can leave work early today and clear the leaves from the yards before it rains tomorrow.
Next we'll try the Tuesdays only special! Oh boy. You'll have to wait to hear about it. My favorite is still "Friday Dinner is In the Bag," all of that shellfish, sausage, corn on the cob, YUM.
I hope that you can try some of these Salty's specials while they are still available.

A few weeks have passed and I'm back to praise and celebrate Salty's Thanksgiving for Two takeout / heat at home package. It was super-economical; we shopped around. For us, this is a new face of Salty's -- usually reserved for those VERY SPECIAL occasions.
We had the turkey and ham combo with mashed potatoes & gravy, dressing (stuffing), roasted winter veggies, dinner rolls with butter, and pumpkin pie. I'm like WOW the ham! Sweet and delicious! WOW, the dressing, what a perfect classic! WOW the gravy! Being from the Midwest, this whole experience for me resonated with decades of wonderful memories elicited by the tastes created by Salty's culinary geniuses.
Here are some pictures, added at the end. They include cheese and dessert that we added to the menu. The pumpkin pie from Salty's came with a special whipped cream, yum!

Amazing experience! I have been to a lot of fancy restaurants over the last week and the food and service were perfect! I was in the mood for a cheeseburger and our server Nash made it happen. Honestly one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had in my life! The manager said "thank you for coming" and when I told him how amazing the service was, he mentioned the owner helped start Red Robin which makes sense why the burger was so good, even better than Red Robin now. My wife had the halibut and she said it was amazing as well.
Brian Connolly
The budgeting buffet was enormous. There was everything from an omelet bar, crepe station, seafood of all sorts, and a chocolate fountain. The view from the deck had all of downtown Seattle and the water taxi. Great on a sunny day like today.
Sophie Vrinceanu
An amazing birthday dinner at Salty’s on Alki Beach!
It’s our first time visiting this restaurant and was the best choice for the birthday dinner!
I had a delicious Pan Seared Prawns and Scallops with saffron risotto, an extraordinary culinary masterpiece, the creamy risotto with mushrooms and banyuls vinaigrette it’s just perfection!
Highly recommend this place for a great panoramic Seattle view, amazing service and delicious food!

Location: is very beautiful. It is right at Alki. Beautiful area with amazing waterfront view. The location is a waterfront location. It has a nice view of Seattle and of the ocean. You can get indoor or outdoor seating; no matter where you sit there is a beautiful view of Seattle.
Cleanliness: every time I have gone there it has been ridiculously clean. They are always cleaning, wiping down, and making sure everything is to its best standard.
View/ambiance: the ambience is very relaxed and casual. It is a very nice restaurant that is laid-back and very attentive which makes the ambience very nice.
Taste: I had many lobster legs, crab legs, oysters and much more. The seafood was very fresh and clean tasting. It didn't have an overly fishy taste in any way. It was cleaned well and tasted amazing!
The smoked salmon was to die for. It wasn't too smoke or fishy and it was seasoned perfectly. The macaroni and cheese had the perfect amount of cheese and was very well cooked. It wasn't overly cheesy or under cheeseed; it was cooked properly and with great flavor.
Service: the service there was very friendly and very attentive. They made sure you were happy and had a full glass of water and whatever other drink he may have ordered. My waiter was extremely friendly and was always there to help or answer any questions that I had. The hostess was very friendly as well as beautiful and funny. LOL
Overall: I think it is a good place to go to for regular food or seafood. I highly recommend trying their Seafood out it is fresh and super delicious. Everything was just perfect. It is a fast, friendly, clean and nice place to go to for an event or just to go eat in general.
I definitely recommend going there for brunch on Saturday or Sunday if you are a huge seafood and sweets lover! All the food in general was very good from what I could tell a lot of it was cooked fresh on the spot at certain stations and in the kitchen. I definitely recommend you try it!

Was here for Seattle restaurant week for dinner. Everything was delicious. Was unfortunate my first choice of dessert ran out when we arrived at 7 PM. Seems like a bit more anticipation of demand is needed. Reservations done through open table. Very convenient.

As a visitor to Seattle it was a great to come to this famous restaurant for brunch. They offer a huge selection of dishes to cater for all food tastes with the opportunity to go back as many times as you want. Superb seafood and a wonderful view of the city. Excellent attentive service from their staff. Definitely a place to go back to on another visit.
Prasad Falke
FYI, view from my table. You must visit this place, too many seafood items to choose and excellent taste.
Make sure to spend enough on food since it’s going to be a bit expensive. Saw the reviews and visited the place, it was worth it.
The staff is nice and help you out with the seasonal food recommendations.
(Drink - OMG, Starter - Chowder Cup, Main Menu - Copper Sockeye)

This was my first and not last time here. This place has it all! I had a reservation for 12 noon, but showed up at 11:30. We got one of the best tables in house. A front corner table with a window on two sides of our table. We had a front row view of the Seattle seaside including the space needle. The resturant could not have done a better job for my girlfriends birthday. The food was everything she wanted. I ordered the cheff special, something like a blackened swordfish with lobster rice and cilantro pineapple chutney. My girlfriend had some clam chowder, oysters, and tiger prawns. We are already planning on the weekend brunch.

I've been dreaming of coming here for years, and finally made it out for my roommate's birthday. Everything was great. I had waffles, prime rib, ham, eggs Benedict - and of course I had crab legs. They had Dungeness and snow crab, both of which were quite tasty. My roommate doesn't eat shellfish and he thought the meal was worth it even without all that.
The dessert selection is quite expansive, and they have a great selection of both breakfast and non-breakfast items. There are manned stations for omelettes, pasta, waffles (which also includes crepes, pancakes, and French toast), prime rib, and oysters.
The view is as good as you've heard, but you won't be looking at it too much unless you're at a table by the window. Valet parking is complimentary for brunch, which is very helpful because parking is very difficult in the area. Definitely make reservations.
Michelle Vereen
This place is phenomenal!! The food was exquisite, the wait staff was pleasant and the views were gorgeous. I appreciate how attentive they were to me. I was there celebrating my birthday and I had a great time. I'll be visiting again the next time I'm I'm Seattle

Great spread. We were unfortunately seated in the lower level so juggling food back and forth was tricky but we made do. Food was great overall, lots of options. Loved the pasta station and desserts. Husband went to town on shrimp so he was happy. A little on the pricey side but has been a must-stop when I visit Seattle.
Alex Santoy
Easily the best seafood meal that I had visiting Seattle. The chowder is very good, as is the lobster and steak. The service was a tad bit slow, but nothing to really complain about. There are also fantastic views of the city from their patio area.
Melissa Engelson
A must-stop place in the Seattle area if you have the time. I was in town for work and stopped by on the recommendation of two friends both who had lived here in the past.
I had the king salmon dish and added 1lb. of Dungeness crab legs. I'll definitely make an effort to return if I find myself in Seattle again.
Pros: food, service (from greeting through leaving), and views. Bella was my server, and she was excellent. Even if you don't get a tableside window, you'll still have an excellent view of the skyline and water.
Cons: on the pricier side but worth every penny due to the high quality good and customer service.

The team at Saltys helped make this year, a perfect birthday. The host, Seth found us a wonderful window seat, providing a gorgeous view of Seattle and the full moon. Our waiter Luis was warm, funny and professional. He knew his stuff and shared both knowledge and enthusiasm. Our food was prompt and delicious, even my picky husband was happy! This is a great place to come for a special night, Saltys has your back.
Seriously an Alki staple and a great representation of the incredible seafood we have in Seattle.
J
Amazing view and ambiance! The staff is very courteous and professional. Honestly I can’t fault anything when it comes to location, service, or ambiance.
The thing I can fault however is the food. Everything I ordered and tried has an overwhelming and over abundant taste of lemon juice.
TOO Much lemon juice in everything! From the tartare sauce of the fried calamari, to the risotto with scallops, and the sauce on top of the filet mignon with crab. I’m not going to lie it ruined the taste of my food.
Perhaps it was just the chef on duty that day, again, I loved the restaurant and will be back. However, I hope this review is seen and taken into account for the future.
Briana Kemp
We went on Valentines day, the ambiance was great, the champagne was already at the table when we arrived. Our server was fantastic, Patrick. Very knowledgeable, funny, speedy and pleasant. The food was good, we both ordered our different steaks med-rare but his looked more medium and mine looked more rare. But we were happy and ate it anyways! I thought my plate presentation was much more elegant than my bfs plate. The guy sitting next to us agreed when they overhead my bf comment that he thought the steak was small for being 12oz..
Stephanie Lehnert
The wait staff was amazing and helpful. The view was lovely and the food to die for! Loved the bday cake as well (that white chocolate cake is seriously delicious!!)
Darnell Kebo
2/17/2020: Stopped in to use $100 gift card and figured we would splurge so we ordered the Dungeness Crab special and the cowboy rib eye. Oh boy what a disappointment. Crab looked over cooked and meat was a bit dry. The rib eye was maybe an inch thick and the sauce that was covering it took away from the flavor of the ribeye.
I've been to Saltys for the brunch and happy hour. They are both decent however I was expecting slightly better with items from their regular menu. There other great options for steak and seafood in Seattle.
The staff was really great though! Very friendly and attentive. The view never disappoints either. Such a great location to view Seattle.
Mathew Thomas
5 star for food, service and ambience. We had the Harissa clams, Lobster and Prawn Bugotini, Applewood smoke King Salmon. The clams were so fresh and the sauce had such a rich delicious flavour. It is served with really tasty bread and it’s sooo good to dip the bread in the clam sauce. The lobster and prawn bugotini was also very delicious. It had rich seafood flavours, the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce is amazing. The Applewood Smoked King Salmon was
a really thick piece, it was flaky soft and the Smokey flavours shined really well. Our server Xavier was very attentive, the hosting team was very accommodating. I was celebrating my partner’s birthday and everyone was so sweet! What a great dining experience!
Tanay Dutt
Excellent restaurant with a quality selection of seafood and premium meats, interesting fusion dishes, cocktails, west coast wines and desserts. Incredible views of the Space Needle and Downtown Seattle, perfect spot for a New Year's Eve party or a date. Attentive service. Plenty of free parking.
Amol Thorat
Incredible views and excellent food! Pretty romantic place, especially the sun deck, you get a superb view of Seattle and space needle. Must try the grilled salmon although if you are not feeling too luxurious, the regular staple fish and chips is fine too!
Amy LeMieux
Amazing food, Fantastic service and phenomenal view of Seattle
Charise Shigeta
Great food, view of the city, and service!
Arnold G Marquez
Great place off the coast big restaurant always packed. Beautiful scenery great spot near water and you can see the Space Needle from there... prices are $$$ but a great place to dine, food is good service is great... just enjoy the view😍 …
Steve Dreke
One of our family's favorite spots. Gorgeous view of the downtown Seattle skyline, an excellent menu, and truly outstanding service.
Crystal D
We had a wonderful romantic dinner. The server was very friendly and attentive. Beautiful view and the food was amazing!
Susan Schuh
Amazing! Everything at their Saturday Brunch Buffet is spectacular! Really can't beat the view of Seattle and Elliot Bay either... Highly recommend it! Two thumbs up!
S M
Simply amazing! First time was an experience! The food, the drinks, the ambiance…were all unbelievable. Currently planning a trip to Seattle just to dine here…
Ryan Hubris
Million dollars view. Great energy. Food is average and it was exorbitantly overpriced. A piece of grilled salmon for $55. I don't care where it's from and how seasonal it is, $55 for a slice of salmon is expensive. Essentially, they are charging you for the view....and for visitors, it's well worth it.
Seth T
Great experience with a great view. Come hungry and eat until you can't. This is a fantastic place to come in celebration for a birthday or etc. It's somewhat pricey because the only option is the buffet but it's worth the money. Just don't expect to come and get something small while the rest of your party gets the buffet. The food is exceptional for a buffet as well. Tons of options and all top notch next time I have an excuse to go I will be going back.
Heather Steinmiller
Very nice experience eating dinner here last night - our server Brian was outstanding, explaining the menu and making suggestions. The food was generally good, with the clam appetizer being the most memorable. Everything else was fine, a bit pricey for what we had in my opinion. Lovely views of downtown Seattle. Not sure if it merits a return visit.
Anthony Vigil
Gorgeous scenery. Good food. Great place for a date. Parking spaces are ridiculously small though. My motorcycle fit, but I wouldn't want to park a car there.
Andria Welty
From start to finish our experience here was fantastic! We each had a few cocktails and ordered prawns to start. Our entries and dessert were delicious. We went for brunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy, so we got sat right at our reservation time. The server was knowledgeable and very friendly. We can't wait to head back for dinner one day!
Jyotsna Namdeo
Salty’s is an awesome place to visit for birthday celebration they made my day perfectly beautiful. The scenic view of Seattle skyline with awesome wine, food not forgetting surprise birthday cake dessert made me feel special on my day. Thanks salty’s im glad i chose you to celebrate my special day.
Darryl Sakai
View was outstanding. Food and service was excellent. Nash was a awesome server.
Mirza Trokic
The entire meal was delicious. However, what was truly amazing were the oysters. They were seriously the highlight of our meal. Fantastic!
Angelica Taguinod
If you're looking for a fancy seafood restaurant, then Salty's the way to go. Loved the view of the Seattle Skyscrapers across the waters.
Cierra Garcia
Absolutely wonderful birthday experience with the most beautiful ocean view of Seattle. I couldn’t be any happier with the service or the decadent meal! We ordered an appetizer of Calamari and then shared a Surf Surf N Turf (pictured), which was plenty for two people! We also tried the Mule and a Watermelon Margarita which were also delish! Cannot wait to visit again the next time we are in Seattle!
Hugo Marquez
The food was excellent the service was even more immaculate and the scenery was amazing I'm so glad I came to celebrate my birthday here with my friend.
Kathy H
Salty's is incredible!! Great service, gorgeous views, delicious food. Every time I've gone it has been a wonderful experience.
Gayle Abbott
A lovely spot overlooking the water and the Seattle skyline. Delicious food ... elegantly prepared, excellent service, great seating ... both inside and outside, pricey. A great choice for that special occasion!
Kyle
Incredible quality of food and service.
Just perfectly cooked food, it looks like art on a plate.
Part of Gordon Ramsay's 10 best in Seattle list.
The best view of the city and because of that I proposed to my Fiancee here.
Lee Cosner
For a Christmas Eve "Special Buffet" Seemed less choices but same prices. Drinks overrated and icy. Probably last time to visit. Was highly recommended but same party...disappointed.
Hong Wang
Seafood is great. You can see night scene through windows seat.
Definitely I recommend to my friends.
Nathan Follin
A great spot for surf and turf with sunset views on Seattle. The scallops and shrimp fettuccine were both good. The wine list has many options at various price points, and 50% off local wines on wednesdays.
James Keeler
Far exceeded our expectations! We had the best seat in the house and the food was just perfect. We started off with the shrimp skewers and TKO potatoes, then shared the mixed seafood grill. We paired it with a nice Albariño and finished with a nice pair of desserts.
The food was just perfectly cooked and very tasty, the wine was crisp and cold, the late summer sunset was breathtaking, and the price was right.
Shoshana Anderson
Birthday dinner with my little family. The steak was over cooked to my liking but I didn’t ask for med rare so it wasn’t their fault. They had our table decorated and their service was impeccable. Can’t wait to return.
Marvin Chau
Best Brunch Experience!
For the longest time, I've always thought brunch was overrated. Brunch has always been a large spread of high-profit margin selections with a mimosa on the side. Salty's has made me a believer. Sure I'll take a eggs Benedict along side my dungeons crab legs. Put that right next to my Prime rib slice, freshly shucked oysters, and pasta bar served to order. To top it off lemme wash all that down with my Blood Orange mimosa. The food was great, no complaints, all smiles here. The food, believe it or not, gets out shined by the view and the service. We came for the view, the stayed 2 hours for the great food, but we'll forever remember this experience because of the the effort and the attentiveness of Chrissy, our waitress. I'm from Dallas, Salty's has made me consider making an annual trip up to Seattle, and you bet'cha we'll be stopping by Salty's every single trip and will be asking for Chrissy every visit!
Hanjong Yoo
Not only the view is amazing but the food was sooooo good. I will definitely come back.
Jeff Yuan
Perfect view and atmosphere for Seattle skyline, dishes are ordinary level, don't expect too much on the pricy food.. Absolutely you can find much better seafood in other restaurants.
Jeff Dunlap
Always a great place to eat. Food and drinks are always top notch along with the service and the views are awesome
Mugur Padure
Almost entirely good points: great setting, great view, great food, great drinks, great service.
Only one point down: prices range between $$$ to $$$$, so for me it is not a place I can patron every week, although I wish this to have been the case.
Qiao Li
Had a great birthday here. The view is really nice.
Tiffany Linville
Best view combined with extraordinary food! 10/10 for service and for accommodating food sensitivities!
Ahin Yoo
5 OUT OF 5, 100%! The food was great and fresh—amazing view and atmosphere. Especially, I’ve never had this kind of service at any other restaurant. Thanks, Oka 😍 …
Travis Thomas
Beautiful view, friendly staff, they can amd will host a party and the food was great and reasonable prices! This is my new favorite spot!
Nicole Buesen
We helped decorate for a clients 60th bday event here and this place was fantastic. The staff were amazing and the event space was perfect.
Tony
We've been here twice. Once for lunch, and the second time for dinner. Completely 2 different remarkable atmospheres, yet same excellent experiences. Always will be returning guests!
Per Sveen
Fanciest buffet I’ve ever been to. It’s really expensive but the service and food quality and variety are amazing. So much fresh and delicious seafood, not the mention the views of Seattle skyline are incredible!
Jonathan Rodrigues
Amazing location with amazing views. Customer service was excellent and the food was all truly amazing too
Mulenga Phiri
The food was good. We sat at a very good table outside over looking seattle. I wouldnt think twice coming back. Nice place.
Joe Coker
My wife and I just celebrated our 35th year anniversary and it was simply amazing. The service and food was excellent and so was the view. Thank you for a night we will never forget…
Rachel Indihar
We just spent the weekend in Seattle. This was a great find. Gorgeous view, great variety of food. We went for their brunch buffet on Sunday around 10am and had no reservations. Waited in the waiting room for only 10 minutes for 4 people as they were packed. The waiting room had coffee and pastries. Our waiter was fantastic constantly on top of our needs.
B.B.J Show
Great Seattle downtown view, beautiful ocean view, romantic, Servers are awesome, very knowledgeable of foods, food's quality is excellent. At sunset time, it is pretty chilly and windy, so you should bring a light warm jacket.
Chris Peluso
Such a wonderful restaurant with great food, service, and views. I highly recommend! Mondays are 50% off wine bottles from Washington wineries, so I highly encourage you to go on a Monday if you love wine. We’ll be back!!
Kristen Herbst
Great wait staff and delicious food. Beautiful views of the city at sunset. My husband and I loved the halibut! And our sons the surf, surf and turf and the scallops.
Brittany McCoy
The steak is amazing, makes you roll the eyes back in your head! My husband also loved the fish and chips and still raves about the clam chowder, but make sure you ask for it with sherry!
Jen M
Everything was just wonderful! This restaurant was recommended to us from a family member that used to live in Seattle years ago! It was just as they described it. It had a great view of the city from across the water and the food was delicious with some unique plates. Our waiter, Chad, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the dishes and local beers. Thank you for a great experience, Salty’s.
Mark Lui
Decent seafood hangout by the beach, the interior feels like it was meant to simulate the inside of a cruise.
Came here for their brunch buffet special. As with your usual buffet the quality isn't the highest, however having chef's on site to make certain dishes on demand is a nice touch. The crabs were okay, the clams were pretty good. Some of the roast is pretty dry. They seat both upstairs and down stairs, however the buffet is upstairs.
the buffet gets pretty busy, however there is complementary coffee and pastries in the waiting area, which is a big bonus. However you probably don't want to fill up on that.
The wait staff was very attentive with refills and cleaning the table, our head waiter was very accommodating and friendly even after we paid, he would come to where we were taking pictures and offer to help us. There's also a live musician by the buffet area.
Small parking lot with additional valet service, but plenty of street parking. It's definitely worth checking out especially with the view.
Vincent Randy Heslop
This restaurant with great views back to Seattle has been a main stay of the West Seattle/ Alki area for many years. I have visited about 20 times over the last 25 years and have found it to have challenges with consistency. Hit and miss on quality, service and presentation. They seem to have struggled between wanting to be a tourist driven restaurant and a reliable locals establishment for years. In my opinion you will be rolling the dice to hit them on the upswing. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎

Happy hour margaritas were surprisingly huge! And so was the carrot cake 😂
This is a great place to bring your visitors from out of town, one of the best restaurant views of the sound/city of Seattle... …
Michael Harper
Awesome food and great service! I had the cioppino and it was so good, plus we had a window seat with a fantastic view of Seattle. Will definitely be back.
Stuart Hostler
You can't beat the views of the Seattle skyline from here. Go before six and they have a happy hour menu. I tried Thursday and the oysters were $1.50 each... good deal.
Anthony F.
This was some of best seafood I've ever had. The parking lot is on the small side for a place as popular as it is but the Valet was very fast and curtious. Our server was very informative and knew the menu inside out. She made a few suggestions and 3 of my party of 6 chose them and we were overly happy with the food choices. They really delivered on the flavor. I will certainly return to this restaurant when I'm in Seattle.
David Kenney
Loved this place, food was great, service was great, and the view was beautiful. Nice quiet atmosphere too.
I'd recommend the cod and chips for sure 😊
Joshua Fink
This restaurant, Salty's is definitely a restaurant you go to on a special occasion. It's more on the expensive side 65 dollars a person
That being said- I have never been to a fancier Buffet... it has everything that you ever thought about Seafood, pasta, breakfast, items, salad, steak, dessert (so much) and much more.
Nicole M
It has a legit 80s vibe and I dig it! The view is THE BEST. Just amazing! I highly recommend the halibut with risotto or the chicken. Our server, Ryan, was so very attentive and friendly. My group agreed that we hope we are lucky enough to meet his service again.
Vic L
Today was my first visit to Salty's on Alli Beach and it was one of the best times for my family and I. Staff is friendly and professional and made the experience that much better.
The food is some of the best I have ever had. If you're looking for a great meal with a great view check out Salty's!!!
Teddy Womp
EPIC BRUNCH!!!! Visiting west Seattle with friends we heard about Salty's brunch, it entirely lived up to and exceeded expectations. I spent most of my time and appetite cracking crab legs, both King and Dungeness. Plus all the oysters on the half shell you could ever want. There's also a pasta bar, omelette bar, carving station and desert fountains. Well worth the $65 price tag
Treasure Call
Always delicious. And so many options. But I always eat at least 2 plates of the raw oysters and Dungeness Crab. You definitely get your money's worth that way too. Also, it was my birthday so they gave me a little treat. And when they seat you they leave these little yummy donuts.
Let ME Explore That For YOU
Great restaurant. I enjoyed being here. We had to wait around 45 min to get a table next to a window, but it worth it. Food was great and very helpful server. I left absolutely satisfied.
Jim Olave
Food was excellent so was the service and the location is breathtaking.
T'Jay Jefferson
The ambiance is excellent. The views, magnificent. Service from Patrick, superb. I ordered a fresh sgueezed lemonade, trio starter, pinot gris & the surf & turf. Lemonade tastes as of it was "fresh squeezed" before arriving at Salty's (there was no pulp). The prawn was my favorite of the trio. The finely diced pineapple atop it was very complimentary to the texture & succulence of the meat. I was surprised to receive my filet mignon smothered in sauce as I do not like sauces of any kind. (My husband ordered for me). Pinot Gris is always a pleasure.
Felicia W
Amazing brunch! I highly recommend it has fun employees. Some of the best Dungeoness crab I’ve ever had their breakfast table is amazing their dessert table is amazing I had a fun experience I would recommend it to everybody and since I went there I’ve told everybody about it. It’s a little pricey but highly recommended if you have somewhere you want to bring your Valentine I would definitely make reservations. And not to mention a beautiful view
Majid Azimian
Positives: The view is fantastic. Waterfront with an outlook towards the Seattle skyline. Specially recommend at night time.
The menu is great, if you like seafood. Not so many options for somebody who is not into seafood.
The food is delicious and esthetically set up.
Staff is very friendly and doesn't try to be pushy.
Negatives: Not a lot of self parking spots. Also a very long wait (over 20min) even though we had a reservation.
David Evans
A lovely seafood restaurant on the water with views to match the food. Our server was attentive, catering to each of our needs with a great attitude the whole time we were there.
Erik Oppenneer
Fantastic brunch, view of Seattle equally fantastic. Brunch includes seafood, carving stations with prime rib and ham, pasta and omelette station, carmel and chocolate fountains for dessert.
Kyla Myers
I love every Salty's location. Alki has a spectacular view of Seattle. This year we went for Thanksgiving and had a fabulous, if pricey, meal. The buffet included something for everyone, whether you like seafood or not. In addition to the salmon, peel and eat shrimp, oysters and more, there was a carvery with roast beast and all the trimmings! The dessert bar is magnificient!
Denise Gillette
Beautiful view of Seattle skyline. The food and service were stellar! The beautiful Christmas decor made this visit very warm and inviting. Great hostess and wait staff.
dana eberhardt
Delicious
Really enjoyed my drink and Halibut. Salties makes really good french fries.
We had a nuce table with a view, we got treated to a rainbow!
Good experience, great waiter
Joseph Tavano
Traditional but modern seafood cuisine with show stopping views of the Seattle Skyline. Service had all the detail you'd want and more. A highlight of my trip.
Chris Griffin (Guitar Guy)
Everything was perfect. Absolutely delicious. Yeah, maybe on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Great service and delicious meals. Go crack a crab!
Elizabeth Magill
Everything was top notch! My 1st time here and it will not be my last. Servers were friendly too.
Meghan “Meg” Johnston
Had not been here in nearly 10 years and brought my husband here. Absolutely amazing! Brian and the rest of the staff were amazing. The halibut was to die for! Do not go anywhere else!!!
Lu Zeng
The view is good, but the value is not. The dishes are mostly greasy carb-bombs designed to fill you up or the 'all you can eat' seafood, for which there is a long line.
This is an ideal place to take out-of-town parents: there is a lot of warm, friendly waitstaff, the view is great (the decor is kitchy af), and the food is conventional. Also, if they're paying, $80 per person is fine, right?
Rhonda Thompson
Fabulous Food, Drink, Atmosphere & Scenery!!🥰
Perfect way to spend a Beautiful Afternoon!!🌞😎
Allen Jiang
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Great view. Awesome holiday decorations. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. I've been here for dinners, brunches, lunches, and every time I have a wonderful meal. If you are in Seattle, this is a must try.
Diana Oskov
We had reservation for Sunday brunch at 12:30 and since we hade friends from out of town we requested a table with a view, non of this happened. We have to wait in a small overcrowded space were they keep the coffee station for an hour before the sited us, the the view was “very impressive” (see attached picture). I don’t understand the situation with the reservation when they can’t deliver any of it. The food was very good, but very much was not stocked as fresh as it was before closing. The crabs and the ousters were on the very low side, same was with the desert station. We were serving ourselves on leftovers. Disappointed, our friends from out of town even more.
Aryn
We ate right on the water everything was wonderful. It's a little bit expensive $50-$100+ per person but worth it.
Andrew Yeung
Premium seafood experiencd with an amazing view of the Seattle city over the water. Reservations are recommended as it is a busy establishment.
Olga Rodriguez
They had restaurant week, Saltys was highly recommended. I concur. Delicious with a great view
Nina Kunz
Loved it! Food had wonderful flavor, the service was great, along with there drinks, have no complants on this place, none !
Kevin Zheng
Had the Scallops and Prawns and they were delicious. Also amazing view of Seattle at night
Nathan Sevigny
If you want a majestic view of the Seattle skyline, and dine on exquisite seafood, look no further than Salty's on Alki Beach. I had the Lobster and Prawn Bucatini, and it's been one of the best meals I've ever had.
Chesley Odom
Great atmosphere, great service, great view. Alki Roll and the Salmon Halibut skewer were amazing!
Lynn
My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch.
We were immediately seated on the patio with a nice view of Seattle.
My wife got a bowl of chowder, and I got the 1936 Roll for appetizers. We ordered the same thing for lunch - Smothered Rock Fish (pan-fried with bay shrimp étouffée).
The chowder was good - no complaints. I tried it, and we were left with the same impression- good, not great.
The 1936 roll - didn't hold together. We ended up eating it with a fork.
The rockfish was well cooked & enjoyable. The étouffée was also ok, but it's not New Orleans.
Overall the meal & service was good, but I felt it was overpriced. The restaurant also adds a 4% surcharge which I'm not a fan of, but I get it.
Overall it was a pleasant experience with good food but overpriced.
Haru san
One of the nicest sea view restaurant I've ever been. Foods and desserts are perfect as well.
Drake Hei
If a buffet is your thing this is the place to go have brunch. Their mimosa of the day was great. Their salmon Benedict and fresh raw oysters were a treat as well. The rest is standard fare with a unique twist eg hash browns with peppers or cheese. The all you can eat crab legs and oysters alone make it worth it. Then there's the beach right next door.
Jeff Hensiek
This place was a referral from a family friend. The ambiance was really good and do was the food. While we were there we saw a seal. This was a pretty big deal because we are from Colorado and don't have them around. We had Simms pizza and it was great.
Nancy Dinell
The view of the Seattle skyline is amazing after dark! The wait staff service was impeccable. I ordered the Scallops. They were delicious!! We look forward to dining at Salty's on our next visit to Seattle.
The atmosphere here is elegant and dining at Salty's is a special treat.
Hungry-hungry Hippo
Fresh ingredients that were seasoned well with good portion sizes! Absolutely Amazing view! The drinks were not my favorite, then again I only tried the mango habenero margarita I believe it was. It was not spicy in my opinion and too sweet for my liking...but others may disagree. Our waiter was decent but could have been more personable, which is not indicative of the whole staff may I add. Worth visiting in my opinion and I would go back!
Simone Menier
Food was hit or miss, which is not OK for those prices. I suspect large parties' orders are being prioritized to a fault. The views and cocktails were great. Our food winners were the PNW oysters, calamari, and coconut shrimp. Crab cakes were decent. Salmon entree was not only undercooked (even for medium rare) but also cold. Really lousy mashed potatoes. Boring crab risotto was not crabby enough.
Carmen Berrysmith
Delicious flavor and if you check out their website you can find the days they have some good deals. Just went on a date last night and spent less than $50 out the door with wine and an app.
Trish Miller
Awesome waitstaff and views! I think you need to know what to order tho. Definitely get the oysters if you like oysters, they were the best I have had in years! My friend's scallops were to die for! Wasn't impressed with the Cesar salad, it tasted like mayonnaise dressing, not a lot of lemon, garlic, or seasoning. The blackened salmon on top was good though.. The sushi roll tasted like it had been made earlier in the day, I wouldn't order it again. The calamari was so so. My friend said her chop chop salad with crab and shrimp was great. We had 2 glasses of wine total for our 6 top table so not much liquor and 2 appetizers for the table. It was $50 a person, if I am spending that much per person for food I would hope that I would love it. But it was just okay. I do have to reiterate though that their staff is amazing!

Great service and quality of food, the high quality meats, seafood, omelets, desserts and soo much more. Our view was priceless and the customer service was amazing.

This place has an amazing view! Pretty great food, but it is expensive. I wasn't blown away by the food, but it is good.

We were from out of town and didn't realize this was a high end restaurant. So heads up to dress a little nicer. We ate there in jeans and sweatshirts and were fine but definitely felt underdressed. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was quite good. And the view of Seattle at night was amazing. Good restaurant for a special occasion or date night.

Our food was delicious. We chose to sit outside in a heated clear room. The inside smelled pretty bad. But I am sure the smell wouldn't bother everyone. We couldn't tell if it was old fish or the bathroom. So at first I was worried we are at a dump. But honestly the food was amazing, our waiter was amazing. We would go again and the water taxi gives you a nice view and definitely worth it
JORGE GABRIE
The Mother of the best seafood in Seattle, nice view and attention. You need to reserve for a best experience.

We came here for the Seattle Restaurant week. For a 3 course menu for $35 the price was worth it for the atmosphere you get. We sat outdoors by the water looking out at the city skyline. We got the seafood chowder, it was okay and tasted like the chowder from pike place in terms of consistency and the abundance of ingredients you get. But we wished it was more flavourful like the ones at pike place. We also tried the prawn cocktail and this was just like any other prawn cocktail you can get. As for the entrees it was a pick between Clam Linguine, Local Steelhead and Grilled Sirlion and Prawn Brochettes. We ended up getting the Cl Linguine and I got the Local Steelhead. Again just like the chowder, the flavour profile for the Linguine was okay. But we applaud for the use of high quality ingredients and the presentation. Everyone tried the Steelhead and that is much more flavourful than the Linguine. The potatoes and rosted spring vegetable works well with the romesco sauce and compliments the Steelhead. As for portion sizing $35 doesn't get us that full but it is what is it. As for dessert the white chocolate mouse cake, the mango sorbet and a strawberry cheesecake ice-cream. They are all good. So in conclusion, this place is worth it for the atmosphere for decent food. Maybe the reason for decency is that Seattle Restaurant menu isn't as compelling as the normal menu but it's a good introduction to this place. I would come back to try out their usual dinner menu and maybe then my expectation on the food will change. Also the service is really good though. 👍

This place. WOW! My husband booked this for our anniversary dinner on our vacation to Seattle and I have to say, it was some of the best service and food I've ever had. My husband had the burger with fries which he said was so delicious and flavorful and I got the chefs special, halibut over garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus. Probably the best meal I've ever had. They welcomed us with a signed card congratulating our anniversary, sat where there was a view of the city scape of Seattle, had multiple visits from staff to say congratulations and our waiter, Keen, was knowledgeable and incredibly kind. If we ever come back to Seattle, this will be on our list to visit again! Thank you so much!
Daniel Perez
Nice view, good food, but wouldn't go back unless I was bringing in some first timers to Seattle.
Bill Herried
Beautiful spot. Great food. We celebrated our 40th anniversary here. Couldn't have chosen a better spot. Our server Brian was stellar. Knowledgeable, congenial and just the right amount of attention. 5 stars

We've been trying to support local restaurants during the pandemic & chose Salty's on Alki for our Thanksgiving meal since this area was my old stomping grounds. With the exception of a ridiculous amount of time it took getting there & back home due to the West Seattle bridge closure we had no other issues & we were pleasantly surprised with the process & quality of our to-go celebration meal. Although we still had to re-heat everything the next day, as we had to pick it up the day before Thanksgiving, it was packaged well & clear instructions were included. The meat was moist (we had combo ham & turkey), mashed potatoes were creamy & flavorful (no extra butter needed), stuffing turned out great, green beans were fresh & everything was seasoned very well. We didn't even need to add additional salt & pepper. We didn't really care for the gravy as it was gray & very herby. We're more of a giblets & dripping kinda family when it comes to gravy for our turkey. So all & all my husband & I enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal....alone for the first time in forever!!....then came the Dutch Apple Pie! YUM! Oh, and there was plenty of leftovers, too! Thanks, Salty's! We miss you but we'll be back for the view & a crab cake or two next time!
Phillip “Mac” McElroy
Very good service and food. Beautiful place to have dinner on the water enjoying the view of the city. Shout out to Josh our server.

Beautiful views of Seattle skyline, Space Needle, ferries and water taxi. Great scalps and burgers or just stop in for brunch on Saturday's 9am to 1pm

Hands down the best (albeit most expensive) dinner on my two week road trip across Canada and the US. Great view of the city from the other side of the harbor.
Sandra Colón-Pierce
Their food is extremely delicious and the service there is extremely spectacular and very kind people, with excellent customer service skills. We would definitely return to eat there with friends or family. Loved it! 🥰😘 They get two thumbs up! 👍 👍 …

Salty's really has the best brunch with a stunning view of downtown Seattle. It's definitely a destination place for dining if you want to impress your company.
Dawn-Marie Proulx
Amazing! Had great service, phenomenal food, and the out door seating is great! Kept comfortably warm the entire time so I didn't have to wear my jacket. Very happy with our experience. Thank you!
Corinna Malet
best views for happy hour. sunday brunches are the best! dinners can get pricey but everything is delicious. skyline at sunset is gorgeous.
Mark Ingham
I just DJ'd a wedding at Salty's. Less than 60 seconds after parking one of the staff was offering to help me. And that's the way the evening went . The entire staff was friendly, cheerful, helpful, and professional. They are very good at what they do and I felt blessed to be able to serve alongside them for a great wedding party. The food was great too.
Margaret Newcomb
Kind, personal attention to my husband on his 81st birthday. Gorgeous view of the city scape. Majestic blue herons flying near, then stopping to pose on pylons. Food all delicious. All four of our party very happy.
Lisa Gilmore
We held an event at Salty's and everything was fantastic. The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. The venue cannot be beat! We had a great time and happily recommend the venue, food and people.
Iris Guzman
One of the best brunches in town. Great array of fresh seafood, made to order omelets, pasta dishes and crepes. Build your own bloody marys and crab legs, oysters and steamed clams for days. The view is not too shabby either.
Gilberto Silva
Great view, amazing food. Please do yourselves a favor and try out the clams.
Pratibha Rawat
We went here for our anniversary dinner. They are know for seafood, so me and my fiancé tried the coho salmon and the mahi mahi. The fish was cooked so perfectly and it was really juicy. We liked their wine and beer selection too. Our server was phenomenal, he also brought us a piece of cake. We also ordered the must try dessert here - Baked Alaska. It's an experience to have this dessert.
Ro Mistry
Great views of Seattle and great food to enjoy. Menu is not very extensive but their Rockfish was excellent and so also their Calamari. A little on the expensive side.
Shaka Sudds
Awesome birthday experience. Great service, beautiful location
Varsha Vijay Kumar
Great food, amazing location. Perfect date night set up
Daryl Hoffman
There is a lot to like here. Great view, good seafood including appetizers, good service and a nicely laid out restaurant. I will go back. But there is some downside with little wild seafood on the menu anymore and the Restaurant is looking worn.
Sleepless InSeattle
Prawn puttanesca is so amazing. Red wine. Great views. Great staff (ask for Brody). Perfect date night 💜 …

This is the first time in my life a server has brought me a blanket to stay warm outside. The desserts here are a must try. Great staff

Floryn
We made reservations for 2 for 845 pm on a Friday. Ambiance was quiet and romantic, even for a Friday night. Service was prompt, our server was attentive but far from overwhelming. Food was DELICIOUS. Chilean sea bass and creamy risotto with wild mushrooms. Date had pan salmon and asparagus. FYI - salmon fillet is cooked on the rarer side so order WELL DONE.
Jeff Brauns
Meals at Salty's are always a hit! Fantastic experience, from the food to the service all in a venue with amazing views of downtown Seattle.

Pam Burke
Great food and customer service. Amazing views. Waiter disappeared towards the end. Had to go find him but overall a nice dining experience. Had the lobster and shrimp pasta dish that was recommended... very good.
Marc Menard
Wonderful food and a great drink selection. Would not recommend sitting on the sunset facing section of the restaurant when it is over 100 degrees though. Tracy was a great server though.
Jerred Turner
Good food, great view! Not necessarily the nicest restaurant but it is in a great location for a beautiful view. The overall atmosphere, cleanliness, and food was probably a three star experience, but the view helps!!
Sebastian Tien
I've heard many different things about Salty's, and the most common is that the dishes are very overpriced for what you get, except for the brunch buffet. Hearing the words buffet gets me very excited as I'm one to eat huge portions of food.
After making a reservation, I came to Saltys on a saturday morning to check out this famous brunch buffet. All i can say is WOW, its comparable to the luxurious buffets in vegas at a very similar price point. Obviously, Salty's has a hard focus on seafood. Being an asian, I was very quick to spot out the best value item at the buffet, and it is none other than Oysters freshly shucked from Taylor Shellfish Farms. The buffet itself is so massive that there is a map to help you find everything you need, but I was lazer focused on the oysters. Given these were shucked a bit quick and you'll occasionally find some bits of shell/sand, its very very worth it. The oysters themselves are huge, and i downed 20+ during the meal, leaving very little room to try the rest of the items.
Theres an amazing selection of freshly prepared and customizable dishes such as custom crepes and pastas, but the list goes on. EVEN THE CHICKEN WINGS WERE AMAZING! I've noticed that the baked desserts and pastries were definitely on the higher end of quality. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this spot is definitely worth checking out (only for the stellar brunch buffet)
Akshat Mane
Third best view of the Seattle skyline in the area after Kerry Park and Gas works. The absolute best view from a restaurant! The food is pretty good too, not the best but add that view and it's one of the top choices.
Z ak
Excellent, cheap, great service with smiley poeple and always available to help. The view is totally amazing and a have to go in Seattle!
Filip Jovanovic
Nice please, great location and view, staff is great too. This cake was Delicious, made from real white chocolate.

Super fun atmosphere, amazing views, and friendly staff. The lobster tail was really good but all the other food was just average. Overpriced for the food for sure but not the atmosphere.

Jay Mogul
Great wait staff. Delicious Crab. Limited menu due to COVID but they will be back in full force.
Demetrice McDonald
This was our first time to visit Salty's since moving to the PNW. The food was to die for and the waiter was the best. I ordered Lobster and Prawn Bucatini and my daughter had Macho Prawns. Everything was prepared to perfection and I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for superb food, kind staff and an amazing waiter. Everyone was so attentive to us from the host and hostesses all the way to the wait staff. Thank you Alki staff for the great hospitality and superb dinner!! We will be back with family and friends next time.
Ali Kefeli
Is it expensive? You bet. Is the view great? Yes absolutely. Is that beautiful view behind clouds most of winter? Seems like it. But man, I don’t think I’ve eaten a Salmon like this before. I do t say this often, but the King salmon is worth every penny (~$50). Their portions are very generous. They know how to cook seafood properly. Not sure why we haven’t visited here in our previous Seattle trips before, but we surely will next time we are in town. We did the 3 meal deal for $35 and that seemed to actually be a great value, considering the cost of other items on their menu. It was available on Monday and Tuesdays at the time of this review, late 2021. The service was fantastic. Megan, you were the best server!
Selena Chu
Wonderful place to have lunch. Beautiful view, very friendly service. Will most certainly come back.
shelli youngberg

Loyd Watson
Great food yummy drinks and incredible views. Highly recommended.
Jeanette Heidenreich
Beautiful restaurant with a magnificent view of the Seattle skyline. The staff was wonderful and my salmon was delicious.
kathryn volpi
Truly did love it. The view was breathtaking. That alone would have made it a destination, even if just for a drink. The food and service (thank you Tracy) were exceptional as well. Between us, we had the clam chowder, coco prawns, calamari, and the chef special which was a melt in your mouth salmon with asparagus and risotto. The special was incredible - the salmon really did melt in your mouth and the flavor/taste was exquisite. Chowder was great. Calamari good and plentiful. Coco prawns devoured. And the pumpkin torte, which we ordered thinking it would be too pumpkin or too rich so we'd take a few bites and move on, was completely consumed. Light and airy and delicious and hint of pumpkin in the creme. Wine was excellent. Truly an outstanding experience. Wish we lived close by to return more frequently.
Nick Croker
Pretty good food and even better view. The bread was amazing.
RAHUL PATIL
Excellent view! Excellent food! Excellent service! Loved this place.
Christopher Caldwell
This place was simply amazing, the food, the ambiance, the service, and the view were a sight to behold.
We went here for my Wife's Birthday and it was a truly magical experience. I ordered the Surf and turf and while I felt the steak was small, it was worth every bite. I wish I could add my videos to these reviews as my videos of the food look amazing.
Nahu Dimitri
Albeit I’m not from the maritime, this was some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Reservations should be made as it is always jammed pack but service here is impeccable and can always be found.
The waterside view of Seattle is breathtaking. WILL hope to make this an every time thing while visiting this city
John Rocci
I went for their legendary brunch buffet. It was outstanding. Dungeness crab was perfect. Seafood raviolis were outstanding. Mussels and clams were great. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Only thing that could have been better was the opies had low fill and were slightly over brined. But, that's just me being over critical (18 hrs in seafood distribution). Great job Salty's.
Damien Smith
The brunch here is amazing! The view is unbelievable! We enjoyed very much! We're looking forward to going back again!
Judie Papp
Salty's is a great restaurant in many ways: the views of downtown Seattle, the wonderful food, and the great service. It was a wonderful evening spent with friends in a casual atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
Christopher Kauffman
If you have family visiting from out of town or a special occasion make sure this is on your list!!
Bryan Kletzing
From Columbus OH and visiting family here. Last night was our first visit to Salty's. Their "Prez"idential Caesar Salad with Salmon was excellent. Well prepared with great and attentive wait staff. I love the atmosphere and I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Decent food, great service and lovely location/views
Raigon Hoyt
View was fantastic, the Salmon and halibut was phenomenal. Loved the unique blend of ingredients. Summer salad was amazing. Who would have thought watermelon and mint on a salad would be so good.. Tracy our server was excellent. Best seafood I have ever had. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. If I'm ever back in this area I will definitely be eating here again. Kudos to the chef.
Marcela Vlahova
Loved it. Perfect for special occasion or just a brunch. Fresh seafood, and other items made to order. Not to mention perfect views.
Beth Hammock
View is great. Ask to sit by the window. I ordered coho salmon and it was mediocre. Server made me feel special on my birthday but her service was slow.
Loren Mathis
Great view of SEA skyline.
Gary Marschall
I have to say that the view from Saltys is pretty incredible. We were put at a table right on the view and it was great. Then there is the food. We didn't get anything incredible like crab legs. Only the seafood chowder and fish and chips. The chowder was great amd the fish and chips was some of the best I have ever had. Nice thick cod, fresh and tasty. Then there was the service. So attentive, super nice bit didn't hang over us. They even took pictures of us with the view. We went mid day which was good but I imagine that at night it is spectacular. Really great Seattle experience.
Tamera Anthony
Great views of the City! Great food! Their staff is great. I had their special of the day Salmon it's was amazing, cooked perfect!
Keith Glasch
Salty’s views are amazing, sit outside on the rail and feel the Sound.
Ariana Lauren
10 stars to our server Brian at the Alki location!
The baked Alaska is noteworthy and is a great crowd pleaser.
The Nonni pasta is top notch. This item was fabulous! King Salmon was cooked beautifully. However, the only downfall was the inedible root vegetable mix. These were extremely overcooked. This was not on par with the rest of the spectacular food and service.
If you want to impress out of town guests- this is the place. The view cannot be beaten.
Jaci Pettey
Tried something I wouldn’t be able to have back home it wasn’t bad just guess I’m not too much of a clam fan. Service was excellent and dessert was yummy.
James Carlisle
Great food, service and view. Best restaurant week ever.
Cindy Harris
Loved it. Service was good, food delish and view wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Katie G.
SO delicious! Beautiful view. And with all the delicious food and wonderful scenery, I think my favorite part was our server. Her name was Chrissy and she was WONDERFUL! Outside of our server, the whole staff was incredibly kind also. I absolutely recommend this place when you feel like going out and have a nice meal and drinks. Nice treat!
Michelle Alhamoudi
Best restaurant in Seattle, perfect view from your table, one of a kind service, and delicious entrees.

As a steak over seafood fan I was really keen to try some fresh fish and had no complaints about the food.
Amazing views also of the city.

I love the view we had. The service was quick and accommodating. The menu is quite small however and they took some time to seat us even though we has reservations.

Very beautiful view and friendly service!

Best place to celebrate your anniversary

Saltys is amazing, don’t get me wrong. I grew up close by and have been coming here my whole life. But when I went this Christmas season, I just found it to be too expensive. It’s always been expensive but it’s almost ridiculously priced now. 3 scallops for $46? That’s too much, even if they were amazing. And they changed the white chocolate mouse cake, it has way too much frosting now. So that’s why I gave this 3 stars. Amazing, but maybe not worth it. It’s Seattle, there are other amazing seafood restaurants for less in my opinion.
Jacki Foote
Tracy was our server and she was PHENOMENAL. Seriously, we wanted for nothing the entire meal. She was attentive without being overbearing and made our ten year old’s birthday so special! Honestly the entire team was great. The hostesses were extremely friendly and very accommodating, especially with us being 20 minutes late due to an issue at our hotel. The food runner was friendly and knowledgeable every time he brought us food, and Tracy just elevated the experience by ten fold. We go to Salty’s every time we are in Seattle, and we will remember Tracy’s name for the next time we come- hopefully she is still there!
Junaid Siddiqui
The breakfast experience at Salty’s was wonderful. The menu is extensive with almost anything that you can think of. There are several live stations for pasta, omelette, pancakes etc. it’s a great place for celebrations.
