Reviews of Post Alley Pizza
Veronika Z
Delicious! I am obsessed with this NY style pizza. The quality is just so good. My favorite that I keep coming back to is the pepperoni with ricotta, garlic, and hot honey. Literally my mouth is watering typing this review because of how much I love this pizza. Highly recommend.

Local, family owned little place just south of Pike's Place. Absolutely wonderful pizza. I got a play on one of my favourites back home: Pepperoni, Ham, Sausage, and Pineapple. Friendly group of lovely people. Great daily specials by the slice, along with sandwiches and salads.
Sam Horine
I’ve had the pizza from Post Alley more than a few times and it’s always good - both by the slice and as a whole pie. I liked the pepperoni and the veggie options and I hear that they’re installing a new oven this summer which is something to look forward to if you’re pizza aficionado like myself. The thing that has been getting most excited lately though, is the hoagies which are a relatively new development and absolutely stellar. I love the classic Italian and just saw on their IG that they now have a veggie and tuna option as well which clearly I need to try. Def add the “hoagie jazz” if you like it spicy - it comes on the side so you can add as much or as little as you like 👍🏼 🌶

Things we love about this place: pizza and fries
We love this place so much! They are always kind to us and make us feel welcome! Our family and friends love coming here and it’s def become our go to locally! We would recommend this to anyone in the area!
Dan Rosen
Finally, FINALLY, a good, true NYC-style place in downtown Seattle. I haven't tried every spot in the city for pizza but as for downtown/ international district/ Pioneer Square goes, this is easily the best slice of pizza you'll find.
The classic cheese is, well, a classic. The daily special -- a white pizza with bacon, green onion, a drizzle of hot sauce -- was subtle and spectacular. I only wish they were open all week, this will undeniably be my new go-to spot.
Just go here. Just go here.
Jacqueline Robinson
Quick stop for tasty pizza. You can get pizzza by the slice or the pie. Each slice is about 4 dollars plus some change. Small sitting area. No wait time. Not gluten friendly.
Ameesh Dave
This is THE place to go for a classic New York City pizza - such a fantastic pie. I’ve been eating pizza in Seattle for 5 years and no place makes a slice this good, and it’s not close IMO. Stringy cheese, great chewy crust, and nicely seasoned sauce. Also, they use those pepperoni cups like Prince St. pizza in NYC which accumulate that delicious oil. The 18” large is big and enough for 3-4 ppl.
Staff was super nice and pizza came hot out of the oven when I got there. Can’t wait to go back!

I'm a lifelong New Yorker and this place would not only be right at home in NYC but would easily be one of the top slices. It's very rare to find pizza on the west coast that isn't overloaded with cheese and toppings but this place gets the ratio perfect. Pizza has a great undercarriage and is cooked right on the oven deck. The crust folds and cracks in all the right places. It's not a sweet sauce but there is a certain sweetness that comes through in the right amount. It's dangerous to know how close this is to our apartment but i guess the one saving grace is the limited hours otherwise I would be here all the time. The slice costs more than the subway but less than a flight so for as long as we're living abroad I'll pay the upcharge.
Dr K
Loved it. Great location on Post Alley, this little pizza place serves excellent NYC pizza by the slice. Best pizza I had in Seattle by far. And they have yerba mate. Too bad they are closed Sunday-Tuesday.
Kenny Nunez
The pizza here has an amazing crispy crust. One of the best in the area.
Sarah Blazevic
6/5 starts. Amazing hoagies, creative and tasty daily slices, great pizza. Would love if everyone could come here so that it never closes and I can keep getting a slice of pizza with salad on top for my work lunch every week forever.
Lauren W
Here's the thing – overall, the pizza is fine. It's not great, it's not terrible. But none of that matters because it's actual NY-style pizza. Everywhere else in this city that says that's what they do is lying (badly). This gets the style exactly right. for that I'll come back every time I'm downtown.
Kevin
By far the best pizza I've had in Seattle hands down. It's pretty pricey but can't deny the flavor. Definitely will return
Charles Lamb
A solid slice of thin crust pizza. Friendly service.
Tom Drake
Been in Washington/Seattle for about 18 months now and I've been completely missing a good sandwich spot. I never would have thought that a pizza place down in the tourist area of Seattle would have the best sandwich I've had since moving.
Thanks post alley pizza!
Josh Troger
Raised in New Jersey, this is the first pizza in Seattle to impress me. Nothing will beat the taste of home, but Post Alley comes close!
Quinn M
Location on Google maps wasn't accurate. It lead me to a nails place when it should be on Post Ave (not Western Ave)
The pizza crust was great and a nice crispy texture. The flavors weren't there for me though. Might taste better if you ordered some dipping sauce, but that's not how I prefer to eat pizza usually. Tomato sauce tasted fresh. Only had 3 options for slices today. Thin style pizza.
1) Pepperoni slice
2) Cheese slice
3) Peppers with mushrooms slices
Almost $5 per slice. If you order entire pizzas, they have more options. There were two chairs outside with each of the 2 tables.
Robert Harris
Yeah go to this place, some of the best pizza I’ve had in my life.
mara ramirez
It was good pizza, not the best but decent. Good taste and flavor. Staff was a little rude and really didn’t take the time to speak with costumer. So people were waiting so that they could place their order
Rhys Johnson
Solid pizza - very light and tasty. It's closer to a NY style, but a little more firm so you don't need to fold it to eat it. Two slices are sufficient for lunch, and cost about $12 total after everything.
Richard Dadufalza
Easily the best pizza in Seattle. Can’t beat their prices and the quality is superb. You could easily walk past this joint but you would be making a huge mistake. Stop by and say hello to the friendly staff. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Stephen Clark
Best cheese I've had on a slice in Seattle. Perfectly complimented all the toppings we got, along with a great crust. Also, a good price for by the slice.
We've been wanting to try this place but our schedules never lined up with their hours. It was worth the wait!
John Anderson
Was there w a couple of great friends just after the New Year (‘22) & can’t recommend this place loudly enough: the pizza was simply excellent taking me back to the best NYC pizza place memories from my past; and the folks who worked there are “pitch perfect”, too. Neat lil place tucked away in it’s own right down by the bay—in the thick of it all while feeling like an own private gathering place for close friends.
Toni
It looked and tasted AMAZING. One of the best pizzas I’ve had.😩🤚🏾 …
G C
Awesome crust. Dry crispy and not greasy. Ejoyed veggie pizza and can't wait to try meat pizzas.
stitch81x
Delicious good sized slices, perfect little while in the wall pizza place. Excellent spot to grab some quick lunch.
Molly Mason
This was by far one of the best pizza's I've had since moving to Seattle. The ingredients taste fresh, the sauce has flavor, and the crust is so good. I got the grab-and-go and they reheated the slices in the oven to make sure it was fresh and warm. I 100% will come back!
Sandra Hope
I was visiting Seattle on vacation, and while my visit to the Pier, I happened to pass by this gem. Pizza was great, tasted like my New York pizza. Great customer service, people were very friendly. Definitely will visit again if I happen to be in the Seattle area. Thank you for great pizza.
Jaimi Nakata
Tried something new that I really enjoyed. I ordered two slices of cheese and got salad on the top. (Went with the Caesar dressing.) Put the two slices together and had a pizza sandwich. Ate about half for lunch and then took the rest home for later. By dinner the salad was a little soggy, so I took it out and just ate the pizza, which ended having a nice Caesar taste to it!
Kevin McGowan
This is the best pizza in Seattle, hands down. It crushes Big Mario’s, Ballard pizza, etc. Ingredients are high quality and local when possible. The pizziaola is a craftsman and cooks each pizza to perfection. Perfect crust, chew and char. The pepperoni “cups” just like you want it to. If you love pizza, make the effort to pay this place a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
kevin x
Staff are real friendly and nice. The space is tiny though, maybe enough stools/chairs to seat 8-10 people max. It's not bad pizza. Not great, but not bad. $4-5 gets you a decent slice of basic pizza - no frills, nothing fancy. The veggie pizza has a pitiful handful of sliced mushrooms and I think maybe bell pepper or onion - couldn't really tell. Honestly if you come here just get cheese or a pepperoni, the other (few) slice options aren't really worth your time. It feels like the $1-2 slices of pizza you'd get in NY, except they're charging you $5 for it. You'd definitely get more bang for your buck at MOD a few blocks away, or pizza and pasta bar, or at rocco's.
Kartik Murthy
Great pizza at a reasonable price. Love this place
Kayla Strebel
Delicious pizza! Coming from NY it’s been hard finding good pizza, but this place is it! Great playlist too :)
Collin Carnahan
Pizza is awesome! Sandwiches are just OK.
Jacob Schmitt
We stopped in this little shop on a whim looking for a quick lunch downtown. We ordered slices and had an additional Ceasar Salad and a meatball sub. All of us were super impressed. The dressing on my salad was awesome and light. The meatball sub was made with handmade meatballs that were well seasoned with a little kick. I'd highly recommend making a stop in for lunch- go early though because they may run out of dough later in the day.
Bob Stull
Small spot with a dozen seats. Three or four by the slice pizzas to choose from along with whole pies and meatball sandwiches. Staff is super friendly and even when it's busy it is pretty quick to get a slice. The pizza is thin crust and heated until the crust is crispy. The pizza of the day is usually pretty interesting and tasty.
Mike Tria
Best east coast style pizza in Seattle.
Pat Christopher
Great pizza, friendly staff that is up for chatting if you are. Happy to let you wait and read if that's your thing. My go to pizza place in downtown. Haven't had a meatball sandwich yet but looking forward to one. Hard to get one when their basic pepperoni is so good. Cheap too. Under 9 bucks for two slices. I'm always full and I'm kind of porky.
Robin Kothari
Best New York style pizza I've had in Seattle.
Jillian Rafanan
Best pizza in Seattle. Owners are the best, ingredients are the best.
Timothy Slazinik
Great, no hassle pizza place. The staff are some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Laid back, fun and simple environment. Get there early for the best selection. You won't find a better priced lunch combo downtown.
Cody Deasy
One of the better pizzas I've had in town, to be honest. Great flavor, even the crust was seasoned and satisfying. Incredibly convenient for a tasty and cheap slice on your way to and from the waterfront or Post Alley!
alexandra klasinski
Post Alley Pizza (not the same ownership from years ago) is making exciting food during a pandemic, in an alley. On Saturdays they have the most delicious breakfast sandwiches on handmade sesame seed english muffins (including a vegan one) and all the other times they're open, they've got unclassifiable but consistently delicious pizza pies. The pies aren't trying to be anything (not a specific style), but rather they're just interesting and delicious. If you're lucky enough to follow them on Instagram (which you should be doing), you can also snag their special sandwiches. A GEM in the neighborhood, and a kind team that runs it. Get some breakfast on a Saturday morning, and come back for the pies!
Kyle Sanislo
No question this is the best pizza downtown!!! NYC style and always perfectly cooked!!! Even my coworker from Chicago thinks it's the best in Seattle!!!
Karen Milfeld
I've been here twice to pick up a couple slices to take back to the office. It's cheap and quick. The guys working there (owners?) were nice both times I was in there. The place itself is a little small; I wouldn't try to eat in the restaurant for a party larger than two or three. Overall, the pizza was pretty good too. Their sausage and pepperoni is my favorite so far!
Cassie Woolhiser
Under new ownership and the pizza quality is through the roof! I had a slice of cheese and a slice of veggie (roasted summer squash, sliced green pepper, and red onion <3). Perfect crust, amazing cheese ratio... things are tasting really delicious!.
Devin Abolins
Best hidden spot downtown to get a real East Coast style slice. No frills, just the basics done right. They also have a daily slice that's usually pretty good if you don't mind deviating away from cheese or pepperoni. Fast too!
Jong Lee
good vegetarian pizza with no cheese & free heirloom tomatoes.
Josh Hicks
The folks at PAP make delicious pizza in the NYC vein with an ever revolving menu of toppings. They're friendly, fast, and dedicated. Their meatball sub (with peppers and onions) is a wonder. Highly recommended for a quick and satisfying lunch downtown.
Mo Ojala
Excellent pizza slices - perfect size, and so fast. I had to order one right after I ordered one
Nathaniel McAuliffe
Possibly some of the best pizza I had in Washington. If you enjoy thin NY style pizza you owe yourself to stop in and try a slice. I have to say that my favorite part of the pizza was the sauce. Too many times I go to a pizza spot and the sauce is always subpar or ok, however I feel that this sauce had a perfect balance of flavors that didnt overpower other parts of the pizza while still standing proudly on its own. Overall, if you're waiting for the ferry or want a light snack before tackling downtown Seattle this is a great quick bite place to visit.
Brooke
Super lovely staff but pizza is mediocre. The dough is flavorless. The pizza is cooked ahead of time and warmed up so I’ve never felt it to taste very fresh. If you’re in the mood for pizza it can do the trick, and again, the staff couldn’t be nicer.
Larry Elliott
The pizza was a bit bland and there was a very limited choice of toppings. It was filling but the $23 advertised pizza turned out to be a $47 total for an 18 inch bland pizza with 2/3 of the outer crust burnt. I am very disappointed and at this point would not recommend it.
Leslie S
The food was outstanding. Pizza by the slice, and done very well indeed. I think this is the best pizza I have eaten in Seattle. Mega tasty. The staff are lovely and the place is very clean.
Darrell
Nice pizza joint in the alley of Post. Piece by the slice. Got two slices of pepperoni and got two drinks. All for $8 with tax. This is a lunch time place. Slices are thin with small amount of toppings. Tasty tho
Douglas Heath
After my brief stint in Brooklyn, I had been looking for a slice place that would keep my dream alive. Post Alley Pizza did not disappoint. Quick and friendly service AND it's right around the corner from work!
Ariel Liberda
Delicious pizza! You can get it by the slice it leave with a whole pie! Good drink selection as well!
Nichole Bjorgaard
Fantastic! Came here for pizza and had the best PIZZA in Seattle. We returned a few time throughout our trip! The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
Kevin Stambaugh
This is some really good pizza. Well priced for Seattle. Feel like I have tried almost all of the top spots in Seattle and this is up there!
Michael Cook
Love Post Alley and especially what Mark and team has done with the place since acquiring it. The crust has been reworked, the pies revamped, homemade meatballs, the list goes on. A passion for doing it right and a commitment to customer service. This long time PA customer is sold on the change. Don't look past PA if you know what's good for ya!
Daniel
One of my favorite place to run for a lunch break. Staff are sweet, pizza tastes so good and fast service. Located hidden in a small alley --almost impossible to find unless you're looking for it. Price is very reasonable, too. So all good.
Ross Spero
Post Alley Pizza is the go-to slice for many locals during the workday. A quick-hit or a "needed break" spot, the pizza's great as is the welcoming customer service. Mark has really made this into an easy lunchtime decision.
Scott Mader
I really enjoy their pizza. The decor is just what you would expect for a quick stop by-the-slice pizza joint. Service is great. The cost I put is for 2 slices and a buck tip. You gotta tip.
Amanda Good
A small pizza shop that is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the hunt. A unique environment, delicious pizza and friendly staff make this a great place to grab a quick bite. There is limited seating, so plan for off hours visits or to eat on the go.
Brandon Guzy
The pizza was great, prices were reasonable, and the service was fast and friendly. Great for lunch or dinner if you're in the area
Jeremiah Mahler
Some damn tasty NY slices. I got a chicken pesto slice and it was so good I had to get a second one. The prices are good too at $3.50 for a special slice and around $8 for a two slice special with a soda.
Zolaire
Very tiny but high quality-cheap pizza place especially given that it's in the touristy part of the city. You can get a lot of food for a little bit of money and the menu is purposely kept simple and casual for convenience.
Alex Boach
My favorite pizza place in Seattle!! It's always great. Huge pieces as well! If you like classic, thin-crust pizza, you'll love this place.
Kara
Their meatball hero is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. It is quite affordable and you get a lot with it. Staff was also very friendly and food was prepared fresh and quickly.
Cody Sharp
Make sure you know the hours. This place is tucked away a few blocks south of the gum wall in Post Alley. The pizza is classically delicious, especially for a quick bite.
Robert Reinert
The pizza is delicious, from basic pep to more inventive topping combinations and they also serve breakfast sandwiches which are incredible!
Rachel Bauerlein

Great place to grab a quick slice for lunch. Good new York style pizzas.
Matthew Winningham
It is okay. When it comes to pre-made pre-cooked and then re-heated pizza, Pagliacci's is better in my opinion.

Nice people but a little expensive for what it is. Not top of the line pizza by any means.

The pizza is pretty delicious here and the service is some of the best. I recommend trying them out when you have a chance.

What's not to love? Delicious pizza, friendly staff, unique location. It's possible to eat inside but it's tight. There is a counter you can stand and eat at outside (not sure if you can bring alcohol out there but I'd guess no). So be prepared to stand or eat while walking up post alley or along the waterfront.
