Reviews of Pizza and Pasta Bar

Really liked the atmosphere, great sitting at the kitchen bar watching the food cook and the owner das very friendly. The food was fine but below expectation. I heard a lot of hype about it and, while I enjoyed what I ate, I didn't feel that it lived up to reputation. It also was much higher price than I thought was necessary bringing extra scrutiny to the food. A meatball sandwich that would've been unobjectionable at twelve to fifteen dollars felt small and lackluster at twenty, especially considering all the other nearby stellar options in the market.

My favorite little Italian joint in Seattle. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in an offshoot of Post Alley at the Pike Place Market.
The meatball sub was the first thing I ordered here and it got me hooked. Absolutely incredible meatballs, fresh ingredients, all cooked to order right in front of you. I've been coming back for months ever since. This place filled a void that I had been missing since I left NY for fast, high quality Italian food at a reasonable price.
The pizza and pasta dishes never disappoint. Mario, the main chef, is delightful and his cooking is spot on. Try the Alfredo sauce on the fettuchini or tortellini, you won't regret it!

Very welcoming owner!
The spinach and cheese ravioli was really delicious and fresh. The Italian soda was refreshing. The manager provided me with fresh bread with courtesy.
I enjoyed sitting by the cook and observing him making my order.
Will sure revisit to try more from the menu.

It was really, really good! The workers are incredibly friendly and definitely know how to make authentic pasta.
You know it’s really good when your only complaint is that you wish they gave you more.
Highly recommend!

I bought an extra cheese pizza for my son and nephew, it was pricey about $35, I have a picky eater and he scarfed down 4 slices right away lol! The pizza is delicious and very large. Just know you can’t dine indoors if you bring food from other establishments but the manager made an exception for us because they had no outdoor seating available due to a party. I wasn’t impressed with the alcohol choices at the bar it’s just wine and beer. Wether you dine in or outside it’s cute place to eat at.

We came in from San Antonio, Texas. Enjoin pike place market. And found this gem while we were there. Pizza and Pasta Bar was phenomenal. Great service. Great owners. The owner was always active. Serving food, asking customers if they were okay. And was checking on his staff as well. It was delicious. Food was on point. I recommend this place to anyone

Very friendly staff!
Husband and I stopped for a quick lunch and each ordered tortellini and shared a bottle of water…$45. High prices are expected in Pike place, but would’ve loved a larger portion or some bread. Definitely both left hungry but pasta was good.

While ordering, we chatted with the owner and he helped me decide what to get. He was extremely personable and funny, and very kind. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious but it is super expensive. However, the price was well worth it for this family owned restaurant. If you get nothing else, you AT LEAST need to try the garlic bread. When I say it was the best I’ve had in my life, that is far from an understatement. It was amazing.

Got hangry while exploring Pike Place and was upset most of the places were already closed / shutting down at 4:30. This was the only place close by still open so we gave it a whirl.
The establishment itself is very dense / muggy. It didn’t seem they had efficient ventilation / hood vents if any at all.
The food was okay and over priced in my opinion for what you received but it was better than nothing. The person that made our food was professional and helpful. Limited seating.

Bruno is the best! And his wife, Golnaz is amazing. The entire staff made the experience so extraordinary. The food was excellent - great spicy arrabbiata, rich carbonara, excellent espresso and decadent macaroons, Lemoncello cake and tiramisu. If you want to support a great family-owned business, while touring the market, this is the best place to visit.
