Reviews of Pioneer Square D&E
Amanda Winters
I like D&E for many reasons. First, they have a menu with interesting, new creations that are often timed well with local events/cultural moments. In addition, they have their staples like the fried chicken sandwich. The food is consistently delicious and I like sharing it with friends and family who are visiting the area. Second, it's a cute spot and in the warmer months the front patio is a nice spot to enjoy the sun. Yes, Pioneer Square can be an unpredictable neighborhood, but the staff do all they can to make sure customers are comfortable and the owners are very involved in efforts to improve the area. Third, the staff are friendly, helpful, and good at what they do. We don't make it in as much as we'd like to now that we moved further away, but every time we do it is a good experience. I recommend you check it out!

Affordable, gluten free options, excellent service, and clean modern atmosphere with a wide range of prices. I came to visit between work shifts, and they were able to get me a great amount of food, gorgeous portions and quality, for a great price. Great customer service and honestly I'm surprised it isn't more busy

Amazing food, service, and loved the outdoor seating. Everything we ate seemed well thought out with lots of flavor and texture. Don't sleep on trying this place out!

Went pre-Sounders match on a weeknight. Great location before the match. Reservations required as it is a small venue. Limited but tasty menu during COVID with generous portion on the chicken strips and fries. Enjoyed strong happy hour cocktails. We'll be back! Veteran owned.
Returned for weekend brunch pre-Sounders. Good options- enjoyed avocado toast with egg. Something for everyone!

It was busy for game day but the servers worked hard to manage. The kitchen was fast and the food was pretty good. Prices were fair and decor was cool. I'd return, though wouldn't go out of my way to do.

One of, if not the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in Seattle. A must try for anyone looking for a nice easy bite to eat around Lumen Field or T-Mobile Park. The spicy and original fried chicken sandwiches are a MUST try, along with their fresh oysters. Also, it’s always great to support a local veteran-owned business!

The staff, the food, the drinks! Everyone is friendly, the vibe is relaxing and upbeat. There is nothing about this place you shouldn't absolutely love. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious!! Highly recommended!
I have now been back several times and each time I have a great experience! The menu seems to rotate with the seasons, which is awesome, equally delicious every time and you get to try something new, though they do have some permanent items on the menu. Fried chicken and chicken sandwiches are definitely a staple here. Fried chicken and waffles is a must! Drooling just thinking about it!

Happened to be walking by yesterday (Veteran's Day) and saw a flyer that vets could get a free chicken sandwich. Got the spicy version, and it might have been the best crispy chicken sandwich I've had. I was really surprised to see a non-chain with an offer like that for vets. My hat is off to you for doing that and I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

One of the better game day options downtown. Great fried chicken! Cocktails are really solid and well done. Brussels, avo toast, and anything pickled are also on point. Make sure and check out the patio whenever you can snag a spot out there.

I don't appreciate their built in 20% tip. Make it a no tipping restaurant, increase your prices slightly, enjoy the added patronage from people who enjoy it. Didn't like that coffee cream and ketchup came in disposable containers. Wash some dishes and do your part to not ruin the environment further. Not great coffee. Great potatoes. Great servers.
konst mos
This was perhaps my own fault but I ordered something which was no longer on the menu and seems like they had some extra around.
The fish was not bad but also probably not fresh. The french fries were very oversalted and more on the soft side.
Service was great although I did not finish eating my meal.
Josey Knackstedt
Great staff, standard drink prices with a relatively small but well-curated selection, and the owner is great to chat with. Better-than-decent food. Definitely stop in. I'll be back around for sure.
Richard Horton
Very nice environment. Friendly staff with delicious food. Very reasonable pricing as well
alyssa meyer
Fairly small menu which could leave room for more unique flavors given the food culture in Seattle. Average or below for the location. Coffee was terrible which was a big let down given that Seattle is known for great coffee. Enjoyed our meal however and service was friendly and attentive.

Sitting in PSD&E as I type this. Amazing food, ambience, and the kindest staff! We had the Fish and Chips (perfectly made and the homemade tartar sauce is unreal) and Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup (soup has fresh basil and a lil kick to it). Finished with a cookie and ice cream and an Irish coffee! THANKS D&E!
Phil Herring
Fantastic spot... great room, terrific, friendly service and the food is outstanding. As are the drinks! It's one of my favorite restaurants now and we go back as often as we can.
kirsten jones
Jermey was an excellent server who accommodated our every need. The chefs were spot on with our ridiculous order. The food was all house made from the cheese to the pickles. Such a great spot to watch the game.
Gary Kamikawa
Family had a great lunch here. Diverse menu and friendly service. Family favorites were the baked penne, the chicken sandwich, and the chef did a pumpkin seed brittle that was amazing. Salmon and clam spaghetti were also delicious.
Gregory Smith
I was in last nite. I got the Sweet-Hot Sandy and it was omg delicious! Im giving you 5 stars cuz the food was great and you were the only place in Pioneer Square I cld find some food while waiting for my bus. But my sandwich had a long hair in it and that skeeved me out. I hoped for the best and didnt let it stop me. But especially in these covid times, you have to be extra careful about that kind of stuff. But again, very tasty food and friendly service.

12/29/18: walked in for brunch and was kindly greeted and invited in 10 minutes prior to opening. Service was very friendly. We were the only two in the place so it was nice to be able to chat.
Ordered chorizo scramble, pozole, and fried chicken with sourdough pancakes. Everything tasted wonderful. Chorizo and flat bread was pretty big and filling. Lots of chorizo and egg! I thought the pozole could have been hotter but my partner thought it was good enough. Flavor really rich and good amount of pork. Fried chicken was really nicely fried although I felt it was almost burnt the crust was very crisp and flaky. The meat tender and juicy with a bit a spice for flavor not too atrong. The sourdough pancakes didn't win us but it did go well with the fried chicken.
Their full menu looks really good and can't wait to go back to try other things!

If it hadn't been listed in the Caviar delivery app I wouldn't have heard of D&E but it is now top of my list for amazing eats in Pioneer Square! Sadly the food took 1h20min from order confirmation to door delivery but their fried chicken was absolutely jaw-dropping amazing. The taste, texture and presentation gets 5 stars. Just a bite of the accompanying pickled celery keeps you going for that next piece of deep fried deliciousness. Novel options on dipping sauces too, like mole bbq and garlic blueberry. The brussel sprouts are great too, just a bit hard to chew. Do not deny yourself this Seattle nugget and get that D&E FC.

Service was awesome, both gents I dealt with were top notch. The wings were delicious, the mashed potatoes were flavorful, and we loved the root beer barrel drink.
Erik U
Can't beat $10 for a fried chicken sando, giant steak fries, and a can of Rainier. Food was tasty and service very friendly. The cocktails on tap all look great and the whole drinks list is reasonably priced which is a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be returning to check out some of the other menu items. Very happy this place opened up close to work.
Howard Sewell
A mixed experience as this new restaurant finds its footing in the former Radici space. Octopus salad was excellent, but our two entrées were both ordinary. The house garlic sausage with lentils was especially bland.
Jashae Wallace
Gosh I wish I could remember the name of the waitress but she was so personable and energetic. I waltzed in early without even realizing they weren't open yet and she took such good care of me. The breading on that chicken was to die for! This was my last stop in Seattle and I'm so glad I gave this place a chance. Showing vaccination cards is mandatory and I greatly appreciate that!
Qi Wu
Fantastic! Food, service and decorations are all flawless, love the waitress girl, amazing service!
Open hours are early too. Strongly suggested!
D K
We all sat outside and tried different items. We are all pleased and full. I had the pork belly. Will go again. Have to try their fried chicken next time. I had teenagers with me.
Capt Cloudz
This is my favorite restaurant! My best friend Dustin is a chef here and if you see him working then you know the food is about to be FIRE!
Xochitl Tovar
Good food and atmosphere. Service prompt and friendly. Food is satisfying and good portions. Only down was limited menu but understandable due to reinventing after pandemic. Glad to come back again and taste more items.
Jack Howland
D&E has been my new favorite spot now for almost a year. The chicken sandwich is amazing as is the chicken and waffles. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Margaritas and sangria are delicious. Atmosphere is chill and super safe for everyone. Please visit and see for yourself.
Jean-Paul Watson
Nice, not-too-busy bar with decent pub-ish food. Excellent service, especially given only two employees. Beer selection limited, but what they had was quite good.
Sresan Thevarajah
Amazing tasting fried chicken. I got the OG and the pele chicken sandwiches. Go with the OG if you want a classic sandwich, go with the Pele if you want something different but amazing. The fries that comes with the sandwiches are amazing as well. I usually don’t like fries but there fries were perfect. I also tried the classic chicken and waffles which was tasty as well. The fried chicken really was special. I plan on coming back and trying the rosemary chicken and waffles.
I also think the service and social distancing was amazing at this place, really made me feel comfortable sitting and eating.
Alex Dmitriev
Original Fried Chicken sandwich is delicious! Would come back here again. Fries are perfectly cooked.
Kyle Fuhrmann
Fun little spot in Pioneer square. Had a tasty Dark & Stormy with loads of ginger flavor. Be careful if you're not into that.
The space is just small enough to feel comfortable with easy attention from staff.
I really enjoyed the potato bites we ordered, and a fun experience with a giant pork rind for the group.
I do think the ravioli was a bit al dente, as did my pasta loving friend, but I would enjoy coming back to try another entree.
Brandy Jenkins
Very down-to-earth place to eat. Walkable distance from The Marriott Hotel (less than 10 min walk)! it was easy to spot, and the bellman from the hotel recommended this place.
I only got a picture of my meal which was the Pecan Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and they were delicious!! No need for syrup unless you have a big sweet tooth (AKA me) but I initially had tried it without syrup and was satisfied as well.
Chester Kong
Dirty fries were amazing, fried chicken and burger were great. Exceptionally friendly staff.
Chad Brandon
Excellent food, but limited menu. I once had a shrimp and grits dish here that was phenomenal, but it's no longer on the menu. I would be here much more frequently if the brunch menu were expanded a bit.
Richard Rigby
I had a short train layover and needed lunch. The staff was fantastic and service was fast. I did not expect the maple siracha pineapple chicken burger to be one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had!
Leif Ambrosio
First, when you pay, don't matter if you dine inside or outside, they automatically charge you 20% gratatuity we sat outside and no body checkd with us to see if we need anything, good thing there food was good or else I would have given them 2 stars.
Tiago Pais
Awesome breakfast! The wings were so good. Super crispy and juicy.
Helena Springer
The food is freaking amazing here and the service is one a kind too. They have a wonderful menu selection and their prices are very affordable here too.
Dan Negley
Sweet spot. Found this great little bistro on the way to Century Link field. Craft cocktails, eclectic and delicious menu, large and tasty selection of appys. Not too noisy like many places. Friendly service. I will definitely return.
G C
Friend chicken sandwich was tender and juicy... tastefully done. Lightly seasoned meat coated with crispy (panko) battered. Plus a beer and choice of salad or fries for less than $13!
Eryn McDowell
I love this spot. It's right around the corner from my tattoo shop so my husband and I will usually grab dinner there after I'm done.
Julie Kent
Wow, I do not usually give glowing reviews of food, but this was great. Good was just a bit unique and beautifully presented with great service.
Ashley Scribner
Love love love this joint. The kitchen is quick and the food is consistently mouthwatering. Excellent spot for pre-game, and the best Dark and Stormy in town. I said what I said. The house made ginger beer is to die for if you’re a true ginger lover
B N
Rosemary and bacon waffle is dope! Chicken was moist hot and well seasoned. Skin on breast for the win.
Shelby Washington
I just wasn't feeling the fried chicken. I feel like it didn't have enough flavor. Very nice staff and great atmosphere though. The drink was also very nice and refreshing.
Kaedy N
The food is amazing and the employees are very nice. Will definitely be back.
Wendy Jill Wiederman
Friendly, cozy pub! My Roasted Chicken, roasted potatoes & rainbow carrots are delicious! I will definitely visit again! Thank you! 😋 …
James Bowron
Truly one of the best dining experiences I had in Seattle. The fried chicken was incredible and so was the bloody Mary. The service is top notch. Or server was nice, prompt, and very personable. Even had some good recommendations of things to see and do in the city.
Chika Eustace
I've been going to D&E since they opened, and enjoyed dining in for dinner & lunch in pre-pandemic times. As an omnivore, I could always find something I was craving between their comfort food and lighter fare options. Now that my circumstances mean I order take out (for 3) instead of dining in - my go-to order is the fried chicken & fries. It has to travel 20 mins until I'm home, but the shoestring fries HOLD UP. Between the seasoning and the cut - the fries are devoured immediately, and the (generously portioned) crispy chicken soon after. Also, the Vieux Carre cocktail on tap is delicious, well balanced, and strong (to this lightweight ;)
Nadeem Shehzad
Good food and service, there was restaurant week and they was a discount going on.
The rest room was not up to the mark.
Amber Mest
We had never been to D&E before but saw their Thanksgiving meal to-go on Tock and decided it was a great choice for quarantine Thanksgiving. We loved it! The food was so good and expertly packed. The smoked turkey was juicy and flavorful, and all of the sides were exceptional. The whole meal was an incredible value and we were happy to support a local business while also enjoying some good comfort food. We had enough leftovers for dinner the next night and everything reheated so nicely.
Mike Lee
Food was creative and absolutely delicious, everything was perfect. Service was absolutely wonderful and perfect. This was possibly the best meal I've had all year.
Reva Cook
Very delicious, inventive food. We stopped here for lunch while waiting for our train. Quick walk from the King Street Station. Pricier than we expected, but seems like everything is these days. Our server was very pleasant, service was fast and friendly!
Nick Lawyer
Great eats! Well worth it - the environment was relaxing, friendly, and comfortable for my kids. The wait staff was polite and attentive without being intrusive. I wish they had some non-IPA beer choices on tap - but this is Seattle.
All the food was delicious. Their salads were very fresh and lightly coated in delicious dressing. The shrimp po-boys were crisp and fun.
I cannot say enough how delicious the chicken sandwich was. Fresh cut, homemade breading, piled high with toppings. It is, without hesitation, the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Ever. It’s 10am Sunday morning and I’m thinking about going back for another one this afternoon. Delicious!
D&E is a great place to eat, to meet friends, and to enjoy a relaxing evening before the game. Stop looking - eat here!

Came here for weekend brunch! Overall pretty good but a few flavor misses kept it from being amazing. We got the oysters, crab and shrimp dip, waffle and wings, and fried chicken sandwich. Especially enjoyed the bread that came with the dip and the breading on the sandwich. A few misses on flavor, we felt it was hard to taste the crab and shrimp in the dip because of the strength of the cheese but it was still a really good dip, we also felt the wings could have been seasoned more as they were a tad on the bland side and the maple Sriracha didn't really taste like Sriracha. Still we cleaned our plates so I think it's a testament that the rest of the components made up well. A good option if you are looking for an indulgent brunch!
Desi Dasheill
Cute little spot. The setup was a little confusing but got straightened out on where to sit and order. I had made a reservation but it was slow enough that it didn't matter for Sunday brunch. Very simple menu with tasty options. It has a few screens which made it a little sports bar ish. Automatically added gratuity to the check, I don't think it was expressed on the menu so it was a little abrupt. Otherwise nice experience. :)
Wayne Balsiger
Nice selection of food and beverages. Nice cozy restaurant, also good for groups.
Liz Rich
Such a lovely experience! Stopped in for a bite to eat and left feeling happy and more than satisfied with food and service. The Chef even delivered our last dish to check on us and discuss the menu. Our opinion: the right amount of spice, salt and love. The menu, atmosphere and service reflects just that. Will definitely return.
Hannah
We came here for an early lunch. I had the vegetable frittata, and my husband ordered the Msp fried chicken sandwich (our waiter did not write our order down). The frittata was decent, but the ingredients were not mixed evenly making some bites all egg or all vegetable. My husband did not receive the right sandwich but he ate it anyways. The strawberry Moscow mule was decent. Our waiter was MIA a lot of the time. The table next to us never received their coffee but were charged for it. There seems to be a disconnect between ordering and receiving here. If that could be better I would love to come here again as a fellow resident.
Kiley W
awesome staff and great tasting food. cute venue we were able to host a private event in. the back room has a super cool aesthetic as well. definitely coming back.
Buck Stodgers
While the food here was quite good, especially the maple sriracha wings, I have to take the rating down a notch from what I would give as four stars, as I was charged a mandatory 18% gratuity after ordering *at the counter*.
While the service delivering our food was quite good, if you want your staff to earn 18% more, just roll that into the price of your offering if you're making it mandatory on every order. Otherwise, I just feel like this was a deceptive pricing tactic.
Mark Zandberg
We made a reservation and arrived on time. The wait was a little longer than planned but the food was definitely worth the wait. Lamb burger was absolutely amazing and the best I have had in a very long time. Everyone else at the table appeared to enjoy their food.
I strongly recommend this place but make sure you aren't on a tight schedule.
I am definitely going back.
Madra Likkel
The service here is outstanding. I was blown away that a smaller joint like this would have such amazing service. I wasn’t a huge fan of the food because we ordered the chicken and waffles and they use wings so there was little meat to eat with the waffle. However, I think that I just ordered the wrong thing. I will definitely return and try something else’s
Jason Van Ewyk
If you are in Seattle you had better get lunch here. Best chicken burger in a long time. I got my fries extra crispy and they were off the hook. The chicken and waffles were exceptional, I got the waffles with bacon and maple butter.
Mark Lee
Best lunch deal in Pioneer Square. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious. It's crispy and moist and the house sauce is the perfect compliment. Served with shoestring fries that have a wonderful potato flavor. For 10 dollars you get this and a beer or soft drink. 5 stars for this deal and solid service.
AV Goodsell
Excellent service and place to grab a bite while you're in Pioneer Square. I appreciate the menu is not complicated and that their food is always freshly prepared...and perfectly cooked. Also it's a great spot to pop in for a coffee date or grab brunch with your family, especially if you have toddlers.
STEVE Baxter
9/20/20 Missed our ferry! So glad we did!! Started looking for coffee and our tummies wanted more.. Stumbled into this little gem! Following all the Covid protocol and still giving outstanding customer service, (The barkeep: Chase I believe), full of wit and charm, makes you feel welcomed before you even before one puts foot in the establishment! Those who worked the kitchen and take your order take the time to listen, and are quick to give you a couple of recommendations that fall right in line with what the palate didn't know it wanted!!! Food was delicious!!
Thanks to the employees and their talents!!!
Shall recommend, be back, and bring friends!!!
Chloe Doberstein
The service was stellar! There were six of us, and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. We all ordered something different, so we were able to try a decent sample of the menu . Every single thing I tried had really good flavor, and their house made hot sauce had us all excited. D&E is a breath of fresh air for Pioneer Square!
Kyle MacKenney
We happened across D&E this week (their fourth week open) and loved our visit. The mushroom pasta and cookie platter were memorably delicious. Personable service from a friendly team, well-priced, and solid wines by the glass. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
John Clarke
Order a pre fix menu and ended up having to wait 35 minutes because they're so unorganized. When we finally got our food they had substituted one of the sides without telling us. While the chicken was good, the management takes away from the experience.
Curtis Hanner
Draft cocktails are so amazing. I love the "Man About Town" draft cocktail. During happy hour they have great prices on drinks and food. The cauliflower appetizer is very good, so are the tandoori carrots. This place has complex flavors and ingredients in everything they make.
Colleen McGinley
Delicious chicken, fabulous side dishes, lovely outdoor seating. Biscuits, mac n' cheese, bread all so tasty. Excellent service. Very clean; hand sanitizer just inside the door on your left.
Cristal Dunkin
The halibut (market fish) is delectable, and just the mere fact that D&E offered okra on their menu was convincing enough (the okra was deliciously grilled served with a smoky tomato spread). The space is super cozy and inviting, and the bartender was nothing short of lovely. I was able to sit at the bar to enjoy my meal and read my book, but also intermittently made friendly conversation with fellow diners. D&E is hands down my new Pioneer Sq favorite!
S. Soares
We love D&E! All their food is good. Fried chicken is absolutely perfect. Always very juicy and the breading is perfectly seasoned and salted. Always freshly fried. Helpings are very generous.
Julie Aker
High quality and delicious food at a great price. They make everything in house - charcuterie, all their sauces and pastas. I had a very cozy meatball soup, and the server told me every bit of it was made in house, even the little pastas in the soup. Yum! Definitely coming back soon.
Tyler Wong
Came here for happy hour with a few coworkers and thought it was just okay. I got the boudin sausage and the unusual negroni. I thought the sausage was kind of dry and it wasn't really what I was expecting. I was kind of expecting a more traditional sausage, but this one came with it sliced open and you put it on the toast. The toast I thought was a bit too crunchy and the proportions were just off. I didn't have enough toast to eat all of my sausage.
The unusual negroni was great though. I would most definitely come back for a couple drinks with friends. Not only that, the price on drinks were really good compared to other places around the area. In addition, the atmosphere and service was really good.
G Lewis
The staff & The fried chicken is simply off the charts! Then as you're eating you realize they playing some real classic hip hop because I'm a hip-hop-aholic!
This place is DOPE!
Roxy TheTechNinja
Hidden gem! I love how close and convenient this place is to the train station, but because it’s a breakfast and lunch spot I rarely get to eat there if I’m traveling in the afternoon/evening. But today I got lucky and arrived 7 minutes before their 3pm close. They were *so* nice and accommodating which was awesome because I was famished. Clean booths, great selection of snacks and condiments for your order, and a great menu loaded with options and value. My black bean veggie burger was perfect, and with fries and a drink included I was living large. Delicious 😋
I can’t wait to go back for my next lunch stop.
Sean Li
Great brunch spot, with a good breakfast sandwich and great bacon waffles - only wish is that the chicken was boneless. The dessert tart is also amazing!
Ashley Morris
Mules tonight were not worth it and the roast beef sandwich was just okay. Fries were way oversalted. Pretty good chicken sandwich though so would definitely recommend that. Server tonight was very friendly and attentive.
Connor Maneval
Small menu, great food. Cheap during 3-6 Happy Hour, every day.
Jeff Schade
Happy hour is legit, $6 draft cocktails!
Corey Davis
Absolutely hands down the best service and breakfast in Downtown Seattle! We had the Brisket & Bacon Omelette breakfasts and they were AMAZING!! Definitely recommend going here when in Seattle!
Joey Kolber
Excellent chicken and sides. They have some great sauces for their chicken, which is always crispy, juicy, and delicious. The mac n cheese, pickled veggies, and bread are also really good.
Eric Mierzwinski
Ben the "bar Ben" is a phenomenal alchemist! Lol.
The ginger beer is beyond words "GREAT" John, the owner is fantastic as well.
I've tried 4 different food items and all have been amazing.
I love the chicken sandwich, the beet salad was soo good too! Can not wait to return.
I highly recommend this place and now they are open till midnight!
Yay!
Theresa Bell
Owner/manager was greeting at the door. Gluten free was not marked on the menu, however they pointed out the items which were GF, which is about 2/3 of the menu (not the fried chicken). They do share a fryer, however. Food was good- we had dirty fries and ceviche. Large bar selection for such a small place. Worth stepping into.
Joelle Prokupek
The food, service, and atmosphere was good. We had the restaurant to ourselves for a solid hour when we got there at 11am, so if you're looking for a brunch with no wait, decent, varied food, and good service D&E is a good choice.
Josh Rockwell
Great food and super friendly wait staff. I'd definitely come back. I had the wings and waffles for brunch.
Julie Miller
Great happy hour deal on their draft cocktails
Arnold Humphrey
Definitely a place i could spend hours on end in! A great place for date night!
Aubry Leon
This food was to die for. We got chicken and waffles and a salad and it was all amazing!! Highly recommend fried chicken 😋 cure and quaint ambiance too! …
Javier Núñez Pérez-Seoane
Fun place, great drinks, awesome food, and reasonably priced. Like, can you ask for more?
Matthew Breitung
Great new bar, went for happy hour and it's totally worth it. Get the pepper steak!
Max Avalos
Super super good the salad has an amazing sauce the fries perfectly cooked the eggs Benedict perfect and the burger juicy definitely coming back and ordering more food
Marcia Garshae
Outdoor seating is open and spacious. Nice view too! It’s a great spot to get out and eat delicious food safely and that’s the most important thing.
Susan A (Lilitree)
Great bar, excellent food, top notch staff
Ryan Galliford
Good chicken sandwich and cauliflower appetizer. Definitely need to bring back the Rainier with chicken sandwich deal; the PNW beer doesn't taste good.
Karen Kennedy
Good food and good service. We love stopping here because it's so close to the train station. It's great for a meal as soon as we come into town.
Delilah
The best breakfast i’ve ever had in my entire life. eat everything. it was so amazing i teared up while eating the toast. beautiful
Amanda Roth
Lovely space, awesome food and drinks, great service. I've had their fried chicken sandwich at least three times and it never gets old.
Bobby Brooks
Great food. Clean restaurant
Zach Morrissey
Got the Xmas eve takeout crab dinner here. It was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the fried chicken
HendrickGinGin
Food was great! Staff is great. Had a great time with my family here!
Jason Martin
Got the Christmas prime rib package. Loved that everything was nice and warm when I arrived home. The add on crab legs were amazing!!!
T P
Food was delicious. Caesar salad and oyster were great with a fun twist on the salad toppings. Good place.
Hilary Hartford
Great brunch and happy hour offerings! Their fried chicken sandwich, big breakfast and basically all appetizers are amazing. Excellent service and wonderful ambiance, perfect for grabbing a bite before a show or event downtown! Definitely a must if you are in Pioneer Square!
JB Fenix
Tasty breakfast on an otherwise slow Saturday.
Eric S
Great spot for a craft cocktail. Happy hour looked good, as did the food menu. Only stopped in for a cocktail, however.
Riley C
Great addition to Pioneer Square.
Chicken sandwich is EXTREMELY good and it's only $10!!!
Staff was very friendly. Definitely coming back soon.
Scott Newell
Great food and a great happy hour with Lucille on tap for $4. The fried chicken sandwich all day deal is insane! SO GOOD
Robert L
The fried chicken is truly a food of the gods - perfect in every way.
Drinks were also very good.
Stephona Hellberg
Amazing food great drinks an best of all friendly fast service like no other. Anytime im in seattle i will be going here.
Chris Mack
Came for happy hour with some co-workers. We ordered some food items. The cauliflower, the tandoori carrots and the sweet potato croquettes were really tasty. The roast pork sliders were not as great. They had some item wrapped around the meat that I think was supposed to be bacon? But it was rubbery and tasteless and didn't do anything for us. We split the beef ravioli that was far too "dense". The ravioli pasta felt undercooked and had too much bite. The filling wasn't that great but the sauce was very flavorful.
I really like the space. It felt light and stylish and cute. The staff is top notch. Very friendly and attentive.
If the food items improved I would come back.
Cameron Ruiz
Can't get out here as often as I'd like to but the food, drinks and owners are awesome. Stop in and get yourself a chicken sandwich + fries + can of beer for a price that is hard to beat in this city.

My co-workers and I are regulars and for good reason. The special meals they can serve with 48+ hours notice are the stuff of legends.

There was nobody here due super cold and rainy day. My grandson and granddaughter enjoyed the ride, the place is big but too far from downtown.

I have tried every breakfast burrito in the city and I'm always disappointed. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito this morning and it made me very happy.

Stopped here for a casual evening of social drinking after spending the day exploring downtown Seattle. The atmosphere was perfect, with friendly and engaging staff who tolerated our story-telling or podcast recommendations while also contributing light anecdotes. When my travel companion started looking for more “unique” drinks, Ben at the bar never failed to conjure up some magical beverage that perfectly matched my friend’s palate. We didn’t really delve into the food but I can confidently say the bar nuts with the caramel sauce were also wonderful. When I find myself in this part of Seattle again in the future, I’m definitely going back.

I work in Pioneer Square and love D&E for lunch, after work happy hour, or pre-game dining. The chicken sandwich is exceptional and can order without fries. Lately we have been stopping in for drinks, oysters on half shell, hamburger, and dessert. Warmed cookie with salted caramel ice cream is happiness squared. They were out the other day and we had bread pudding with ice cream. Really good food and service at reasonable prices.

We went here looking for an adult beverage after having brunch at a nearby restaurant. A sign on the window said “$1.00 oysters daily from 3-5pm”. So great, might as well get a dozen oysters. Then we were handed a menu and it said for the cocktails it was some dollars off for happy hour 3-5pm daily. I forget the exact discount amount. And appetizers $3-$4 off happy hour 3-5pm daily. We ordered cocktails for each of us, dozens oysters and wings (too salty to finish and there were only 3 of them) which was under the appetizers and should have been discounted for their daily HH. After finishing our food we were thinking of getting another dozen oysters and I just thought to double check on the price. And the waiter said nothing was on happy hour. My sister pointed out that the sign on the window and the menu said happy hour was daily. The waiter said he mentioned it to the boss and no one cared to fix it or obviously address it when we ordered our food. My sister who works a couple buildings down from there said to us, she would never go back. The server was nice that’s why I give it 3 stars. But he could have 1) told us the signs and the menus were incorrect before ordering 2) or two, honored the listed prices. And he gave himself a 20% tip at the end. Not sure why he thought he deserved that. To easily fix the “mistake” in pricing, they can simply take the sign out of the window and cross out “daily” (when describing happy hour) on the menu. We’re in our 40s and have and some currently work in the restaurant business, from fast food to fine dining in Seattle and the eastside. Even McDonalds would honor displayed prices and be apologetic about it.

Cute find! We were impressed by the depth of menu options! Service was great and it was fantastic to see gratuity included in prices because the staff is paid a living wage.
