Reviews of Meet Korean BBQ
Alex Gil Torres
TL;DR: great place to share an sanding meal with friends! The Food and the experience are well worth it.
FULL REVIEW:
We went for to eat dinner with a group of 5, and it could have not been better! We enjoy unlimited side dishes, that were delightful!
As main meal we order a beef feast(large), it includes different cuts of meat, and they were all the best quality I’ve had in some time! (See pictures) this was sufficient to get the whole group really full, and we even got some leftovers to go.
As part of the scoring, you have your own waiter/waitress at your table, they cook the meat in front of you, and you can request how would you like it cook, or you can go with their recommendation (they were really on point!).
Through the course of the meal, they bright side dishes as we were finishing them. As part of the big meat feast, we also had an egg soufflé and a soy soup, both delicious!
I recommend to go with your friends and get an amazing meal!
P.S.: try to call ahead and reserve a table! They are usually packed!

My wife and I shared the Pork Feast. It was very tasty but did not meet our expectations unfortunately. The varied items presented were all an experience unto themselves, but we felt as though we were being rushed the entire dinner. I was hoping to do some of the cooking myself but the staff (all very good by the way) orchestrated to cooking on the grill. We left feeling underwhelmed and thinking we should have gone someplace else. It's too bad as we were genuinely looking forward to the experience. We had a ton of leftovers that we took home but again after a couple of days these did not hold up well. Would we return to Meet? Not sure.

We made reservations but the restaurant had plenty of tables available when we arrived. It was a little difficult to find parking around the area so be sure to take that into account when planning your trip over.
This restaurant is an upscale Korean BBQ place. We went with the signature combo which seemed to be popular since I saw quite a few people order that too.
The meat was fresh and of great quality. The side dishes were different from those more traditional side dishes you may be accustomed to from other Korean restaurants. I would say the side dishes this restaurant provide are Americanized.
Service was great too. They had 3 staff rotating to serve each table. They would cook the meat for you and help you cut them up. I personally feel that such service took the fun out of the BBQ part of the experience but you might disagree. Another aspect of this service was that it made us feel rushed because they would help you cook as soon or even before you finish the previous meat.
Overall I like this place and it’s service.

MEET is absolutely an experience so of you’re planning on going, you have to make a reservation or call to see if there’s a cancellation. Ordering is easy and the food is amazing! The most enjoyable aspect that sets MEET apart from other Korean BBQ restaurants I’ve been to in the past is the table host grills all the food for you!
MEET is not inexpensive but it will not disappoint! Can’t wait to dine there again on my next trip to Seattle.

The best quality for kbbq that I’ve had so far in WA! It’s a bit pricey but worth much so. Service was great too. Waiting time was short, order was taken shortly, and the server really does know how to cook the perfect steak 👌. Me and my husband really enjoyed the full course and the whole vibe ! …

Absolutely the best service. In my opinion the best Korean bbq place. The portion of meats were very generous. We were so stuffed and ended up bag them cuz we couldn’t finish. I look forward to come back again and next time I will remember to starve myself for 24hrs beforehand.

I went with a few friends and we got their signature combo (don't know the name). I enjoyed the food, there was definitely plenty to feed our part. Banchans (pickled sides) were good. I was left disappointed with fried rice and tofu soup - they should be more flavorful especially at this price point.
Good experience overall, but nothing stood out and sides were average.
Megan Derwich
Stellar food and service. They were so helpful explaining things to my friends. I think the best part was the beef!
Honestly it was such a easy walk from the light rail. It made coming from work easy, and there's parking right nextdoor!

Best kbbq I’ve had so far. To set the context, I’ve only been to about 5 different kbbq restaurants but this one tops them all. The service here is top tier. Our server cooked the food, put up with 6 guys (us) being loud and obnoxious, managed to grab some sides after the kitchen closed, AND brought me new chopsticks, literally within seconds of dropping mine. For a special dinner or outing, I’d recommend. The quality of the meat here is definitely better than what I’ve found at most. I’d recommend having drinks for coming and getting one for sipping here, as that can add up pretty quickly. Overall, it’s a must try. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Don’t forget to make a reservation.

Excellent Korean BBQ place! I had the signature feast. Meats were fresh and juicy, side dishes were delicious, steamed egg and soup were great as well. Their service was top notch, super attentive and friendly. More than enough meats and other food for what you pay for. Planning to go back very soon!😊 …
Gisella Tellys
That was a great BBQ experience. The side dishes were all great. Great selection of lettuces leafs to make the wraps. The meat was super great and the staff helped you grill it (which is very handy since the lighting was kinda dim). Great service. We had a great time!
Sarah Cardenas
Took my husband here as a surprise and it was amazing. The quality of the meat and the service you get while dining is worth every penny. We did the "Signature Feast" which includes all types of meats and sides. We got so full by the end of the night because everything was so good. The Wagyu beef was our favorite, it just melts in your mouth. This place is super pricey, we ended up spending around $250 for the meal plus drinks, but the 18% gratuity is included as well so that's pretty cool.
Jordan Lee
Thought the place was just alright. Ambiance was nice. Interior clean and modern. Staff was attentive and pleasant.
Got the signature feast. Meat was delicious and all prepared in front of you by the worker. Corn cheese is what you expect. Banchan was a bit lacking and the real disappointment. Kimchi was just off and I got the feel that it was some store bought jar kimchi. Pickled radishes were fine, but why they cut the flat circle one in half eludes me. Ssam was expected. Egg souffle was a bit dry. Could have fooled me with the wagyu soybean stew as it was just a very concentrated soybean stew. The sauce/salt combo was a nice way to add flavor, but the sauce seemed watered down.
You are paying for the experience here and they definitely work to make you feel welcomed here. I wish they would do recommendations with whatever meat they are cooking, like saying something along the lines of "this piece of meat would be great wrapped in the ssam and a touch of salt".
Alisa B.
Excellent customer service and a very modern ambiance for a high-end Korean restaurant! It felt like I was in Los Angeles Ktown walking into here. Definitely wasn't expecting to dunk some meat into corn cheese in such a fancy place! LOL
The two of us shared the Small Beef Feast, which comes with Sirloin, Chuck Eye Roll, Short Rib, and Marinated Rib Finger (Kalbi). My first time trying A5 American Wagyu wasn't the exact melt-in-your-mouth experience I was anticipating, but the quality of the meat here is still pretty great! The meat wasn't as marbled as expected, so it was somewhat chewy; especially the short rib. My favorite was the Chuck Eye Roll surprisingly! It had the best texture and paired perfectly with all the banchan and lettuce wraps. Juicy and succulent, classic steak. The Marinated Rib Finger wasn't the typical sweet galbi that you might be used to. The marinade was quite subtle and highlighted the meat quality more.
KEEP IN MIND: rice is not included!
The staff was very attentive and friendly! I felt very comfortable asking questions and all of the waiters were happy to help us. It was like watching a show as they cooked each piece of meat with care.
Aquila Liu
Meats was great. The experience was awesome. They grill for you. The side dishes are meh a little too Salty . Other than the side dishes everything else is great
Caroline V.
Meet Korean BBQ isn’t like your typical table top restaurant. They cook your food for you! 👍🏼❤️Service & food were amazing!. We ordered the small beef fest & were stuffed by the end of dinner.
Chris Tran
This is a good kbbq spot. Come not as hungry as you'll be eating a la carte. It's pretty pricy, but you're paying for quality meats. The staff pretty much like to cook for you instead of you doing it yourself, and since they're always at your table cooking the service is great and attentive. Ventilation could be better, so expect to leave smelling like smoky kbbq. Parking is street Seattle parking, so make sure to come a bit earlier to find parking. They didn't have a huge variety of sides, but their sides were tasty. We ordered the dry aged, wagyu, and pork belly, also steak tartare for appetizer. All were delicious as the staff cooked for us, and it's quality meats. Would come back again, but not as often as your wallet will get thin. Gave 4 of 5 stars as I would have liked a bit more sides to come with the meal.
Nick Estrada
Amazing experience! Great selection of cocktails and Soju. The cut of meat is amazing here and they do an excellent job cooking it at the table for you. For newcomers to this style of dining they are more than happy to answer questions. My only regret is not having a bigger stomach!
Michael Kea
Both the food and the service were excellent. We ordered a la cart: American Wagyu zabutan, short rib, kalbi, and the pork belly. Everything was great, including the sides. Drinks are a tad expensive, especially for the beers.
Olivia M
AMAZING!!! So good that I am still thinking about this meal a week later. The best Korean BBQ in Seattle. Had the small beef feast which was perfect for 2. Came with 4 different types of beef, egg souffle, soybean soup, spicy seaweed salad, cheesy corn, lettuce and really good side dishes. They cook the meat for you on your table and service was very good. Overall so delicious!
Thang Phu
Love it! The feast meal was fantastic with great sides that made it a great meal. Aside from the fantastic wagyu beef and kurobuta pork, I enjoyed their egg souffle, kimchi fried rice, and hot and spicy tofu soup. Their daikon pickled radish is also super yummy. I can't wait to be back here. Will be taking my family here in the future for birthday dinners!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere and music, what more could you want in a dining experience? Right as we walked in, we were greeted right away and added to the waiting list. We were seated within 5 minutes at around 6:30, right before the dinner rush. Our table was all set up with fresh vegetables and corn cheese heating up on the grill, and the side dishes and water were brought over a minute later. The first thing that caught my eye was how colorful the side dishes were. It's so visually pleasing and makes you excited to eat!
Our server was very attentive and easy to chat with, and gave us good recommendations as it was our first time dining at this restaurant. The service was superb, as the servers all kept an eye our while our meats were cooking so they are grilled to our desired wellness. Even when our server was busy with helping another table, others would step in to flip our meats and serve us. Their communication and attentiveness were on point!
The best (and most important) part was the food. We ordered the small beef feast that included unlimited side dishes, rice, fresh vegetables, soup and egg. It was a little more than me and my boyfriend could finish. The server started with oiling the grill with wagyu fat to add extra taste to the meats. We asked the waiter to cook our meats medium rare, and each bite was so succulent, tender, and juicy. It just melted in your mouth! The side dishes paired perfectly with the meats, and there were so many different flavors to experience! It was such a wonderful meal, and I'm excited to come back!

Price is high but you get what you pay for. Employees actually put in the effort to deserve the gratuity. Meat is great quality and cooked to your preference. Properly made side dishes, unlike 99% "Korean" restaurants in Seattle that cook with their feet.
4/5 because they can't make steamed eggs and stew to save their lives. 사장님 다른건 다 맛있는데 된장찌개랑 계란찜 너무해여.......
ruby al
Takes reservations and easy to find and plenty of public parking and paid parking lots near by
They cook the food for you so takes the pressure off and no work needed can focus on great conversations and time with friends or date
Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff plenty of suggestions and great portions

I'm not one usually to post reviews, but words cannot do enough justice to describe how perfect everything was. From the excellent service to the juicy, tender cuts, Meet Korean BBQ has instantly soared to take the top place of my favorite korean barbeque places. My party of 3 had the signature feast, and we barely finished the meal. The side dishes were flavorful and cute, and the meat cuts melted in our mouths. Did I forget to mention their gooey cheese corn? The food was fantastic, and you definitely get the quality of what you pay for. However, the service was the aspect that impressed me the most. The waiters and waitresses cooked the meat in front of our group PERFECTLY and were attentive to our needs with refills on sides and water. They were super friendly and were wonderful to talk with. If I ever visit Seattle again, I will definitely come back. For those who have gotten this far, I recommend making a reservation in advance because wait times can go up to 2 hours. It's worth the wait!
James Campbell
Full service and full of flavor! Amazing and not too expensive. Location in the heart of Cap Hill. Again, service all around was incredible. We went with the standard $69 pp menu (prices may change in the future) and it was plenty of food. Amazing menu!
Yo Mama
It’s expensive but it’s definitely worth it. Quite a feast so when you order the beef bbq selection on the menu, share it with family, friends or significant others. Top 5 Korean BBQ I’ve been to in terms of food quality(especially the meat) & friendly service. Remember to plan and reserve the table ahead and also don’t sit in the direction of grilled smokes.
Jeri Szomething
The food and service was amazing. The feast portion size is way off though. A single portion of the "feast" is really enough for two hungry people. Unless your job is hard labor, try to negotiate down to fewer feasts than people or plan to take home a lot of leftovers. 😅
Megan Southwick
8 of us shared 2 large sized feasts, we all had plenty to eat, everything was delicious and the customer service was amazing. Decor and ambiance was also fun!
Keith Bachman
Absolutely delicious. A seemingly unending parade of meats, mushrooms, sides, soups... One of the best Korean BBQ experiences I've ever had!
Wondermilk95
The atmosphere is great with kind and attentive staff. I’d say food was definitely good, but like to point out that egg soufflé was definitely overdone compared to the traditional way and other Korean restaurants. Burnt edges and dry. Definitely focused on the appeal. Steak tartare was fantastic and I could eat that all day! Beef set was good, but I expected better and more soft texture at this price point of $100. Few of the meats came browned, indicating oxidation. I didn’t say anything, but definitely isn’t a good appearance considering no other KBBQ and even AYCE locations would serve discolored meats. I wanted to order the A5, but was not available so I got the American Wagyu Zabuton. It was okay, and not worth getting it again considering the firm meat texture. The meat appeal is fantastic, but really it wasn’t something to wait or crave over. I could easily and rather choose the typical pork belly, brisket, and LA galbi from AYCE locations. I think the meats we ordered are better from a grill, and if I wanted steaks, I could’ve gone to the “butchers table.” Overall experience was great after ~$280 for 2 ppl. But if you want more of a KBBQ, then I’d say to explore your options.

It was our first time here a group Of 4 they sat us late 15 min into our reservation we each had the signature feast, they never served us the sides of kimchi or the bowls of white rice we asked for, our water never got refilled. We got two mushrooms cut in half for 4 ppl. Overall not worth the $450 we paid to be here.
Ella Park
This place has hands down the best kbbq in Seattle. The quality of meat is amazing, banchan, salad and ssam are all authentic and amazing service as well!
It can be on the expensive side. (Signature feast is 74 per person)
They cook all the meat for you, so you just have to sit back and enjoy kbbq. If you want to check the skills of a chef in Korean restaurants, try soybean paste stew. They are simple but hard to make and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
The 육회, beef tartare was also on point! I am happy they had 잣 on top of it.
Mei
The food is way too overpriced. The flavor is okay. It only has several kinds of side dishes. The three stars are for the outstanding service.
Tianjie Shen
Excellent dining experience. Great portion for two. Tender meat and great service. There will be gratuity added to your bill but I think it is definitely worth it. But a bit hard to find a parking spot nearby
Michael Kreiner
Awesome food and experience. Staff cooked the meat which is not normal for Korean BBQ. The group had a great time.
Hiroko Ebizaki
My favorite Korean BBQ place! I had the Signature feast with a bottle of wine with a friend from London. The host/server/sommelier were super friendly/attentive, and they made sure that we were having a good time.😊
Unlike most BBQ places with grills on the table, they grill everything for you to perfection (you can choose the doneness and let them know how you like your meat.)
I read some reviews and learned that Signature feast comes with so many side dishes, so we didn't order anything else from the menu (even though I wanted to try their tartare and pancakes.) It was more than enough for two people, and we had a full happy belly when we were done.
Highly recommend to make a reservation before hand, since they are very popular.
Steve Kal
Upscale Korean meal experience. We ordered the pork. Service with Michael and the hostess and the manager was fantastic!
Gary Chou
Good quality meat. Top notch service (they cook for you) and nice layout (you don’t see all the tables in one big room but rather divided into sections. Feels private and not crowded.
BK Yowsers
Came for the Wagyu burger and did not expect Korean BBQ. We typically stay in Lynnwood-North of Seattle for Korean BBQ, lots of restaurants. And just had too much of this while in Orange County last week.
Great location around Pike St to explore and get Starbucks for dessert. Walk into modern setting with table already set for guest with side dishes and BBQ ready. We opted for the signature dish for the two of us and our 7 yo son since this is our first time. This includes steaks and different cuts of pork.
The sides are typical Korean. Nothing really shine from any other Korean restaurants. It’s not a bad thing. The heart and value IMO is the meat. At $62 a person, two cuts of steak and three cuts of pork with the only thing provided is side of salt and bean paste, the first steak cut rival any good steaks I had; tender, full of flavor and don’t even need salt but the salt did augment the steak so well you don’t need anything else. We like our steak more on the medium side, I think this melts the far more and adds more flavor! I personally thought this was better than my experiences at John Howies or other steak houses! And pork shoulder, love the bit of pork fat and was not dry, most places I had grilled pork, just too dry. We ordered for two and it was too much food for the three of us.
This is more then the all you can eat Korean BBQ, but I think the quality, location, ambience justifies it and considering the great service, we had a great time talking to the service staff and one of the owners. Note they do the grilling for you!
Jake Brown
Just stop reading these reviews. This is the place you want to eat. Come HUNGRY because the amount of food is insane - in the best way possible! The pacing and service were perfect, the meat was some of the best I’ve had, the soju selection is also excellent. I’m dreaming about coming back to this place.
Yandong Li
Waited for an hour but food was pretty good quality, worth it. This place has a fast turn over rate, and strict dining time limitation... the waitress took away our plates and utensils after our time, without asking, a little rude...
Alex Arellano
Delicious food and soju, we loved the experience, the staff was super friendly and cook everything for you on your table.
Taryn Ellingson
A different take on Korean bbq for me but was still DELICIOUS and actually more filling than I had expected. The wagyu was a 10/10 and well worth the money and all the fresh veggies and sauces were great as well. Our waitress was outstanding and visited our table probably every 5 minutes to cook our food and answer any questions we had (which were a lot, it was mine & my friends first time here). It is expensive, but for the quality and service you get it's worth it!
Mikee Anne
First time ever in the Seattle area and was looking for a Korean AYCE restaurant, but it seems that Seattle doesn’t have an AYCE Korean BBQ place and this restaurant had the most reviews! Decided to give this place a chance and I’m so glad I did!! This restaurant has one of the best quality of meats that I’ve ever tried and I’m from Texas where steak is king! We did their tradition meat package that came with tofu stew, Kimchee fried rice, egg soufflé and unlimited sides! Everything was delicious 🤤
Service at this restaurant was impeccable our meat was cooked at a perfect medium rare. Our server tended to us promptly and answered any questions we had. Not only was she cooking our meat, but she was also making cocktails and serving other tables. We never felt forgotten about!
If you’re looking for a high quality food experience with a beautiful atmosphere and good service this is the place!
Ivory A
Great service! The meat quality is very good. The small dishes are unique.
Eric Santana
Food is excellent and the service is better. Do set a reservation if you can. Be sure to go hungry
Danny Knox
Making a reservation was a good decision, people are excited to get in here as covid restrictions begin to lift - and for good reason. Staff here is friendly and super informative. I’m embarrassed to say how many kimchi refills I had. We got the signature feast, as I wanted to try a lot of different cuts of meat and while delicious the portion size left something to be desired. Decor felt modern and trendy, a bit dark and moody. I truly had a great time dining here, but wish there was more value to the meal.

Pros:
- The food tasted amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and had loads of flavor.
- The service was really fast! We had food in front of us and a cook getting our meat started almost immediately, just a few minutes after sitting down.
- Our table’s cook was very friendly and extremely attentive, he did a really great job.
Cons:
- Pretty loud. It was hard to have a conversation with each other because they had really loud music playing. This is such a lively place, I don’t think it needs to blaire pop music.
- Kind of pricey. But honestly, the food quality and service are top-notch, so it’s mostly justified.
Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good Korean bbq. I left quite satisfied.
Gina Fleck
Tasty but expensive and not very authentic. Odd that rice isn't included and that your server cooks the meat for you, and as others said, the sauce is bland. Service was wonderful.
The superpowered fans at every table were amazing, I didn't smell like food at all after!
Conley Leung
I have been here a couple of times, they are the best bbq place in town. Love their meat and cocktails. Great services!
Daniel Arredondo
Amazing.
Ordered the “Signature Feast” ($49/person) and each cut of meat was cooked perfectly for each person in our party by our chef. There was also a wide selection of sides (fermented and non-fermented) to balance out the meats.
The staff was friendly, the restaurant clean, and the atmosphere warm.
Next time I’m in Seattle, I will definitely visit here again.
Anthony Caratelli
Went here for our office Christmas party, and the food was phenomenal! The staff was friendly, and they gave great info on what meats they were barbecuing up for us! 10/10, would definitely dine again!

Satisfied?: Hell, yeah.
If you want to have high quality Korean BBQ, this is the only place in Seattle.
David Song
Fresh meats and good service. My complaint is that the food was not very rich in Korean flavors, and felt very heavy and bloated from the meats. Also, my egg souffle was burnt.
Still a 4 star because the meat was top-quality and looked amazing. We had the "special" and the food kept on coming! The staff patiently cooked and served the food to us.
I wished there was some tangy or spicy sides that would counter balance and cut through the heavy meats. The sauces that came with the meat (sea salt and soybean paste) felt bland and unfulfilling.
John Hwang
The best Korea bbq place in Seattle. The service was fantastic while K bbq was excellent. Kimchi and stew can be better.
Joon Park
Great experience. This restaurant would be a great first time experience for someone who has never tried Korean food. The meats, side dishes, and seafood pancake were great. The service was on another level as well.
Kathy C
Overall it was a good experience and plenty of good food for the $79 signature meal. - 1 star for a bit of passive staff not even saying what they were cooking. Had to constantly ask about the meat choices.
Sabah B
Expensive but worth it (we finished out around 100/person including tip and having drinks). Excellent service and food. I had a lot of questions regarding the various Korean food because I'm curious to expand my cooking skills, their servers were super friendly and help and spent a lot of time talking to me about the names of various ban Chan and etc and even helped with basic ingredients and etc. I'll also say the makgeolli selection was quite good. I'd happily recommend meet/meat to anyone looking for a top tier KBBQ experience.
Alysia Kang
My first impressions of this location was great! As a Korean BBQ place in Washington, I'd say you were definitely going higher tier. My family and I (3 people total) was very impressed by the quality of the meat, the amazing service, and the quantity of food provided. We ordered the Beef Feast, which is $114 total and includes 3 kinds of beef cuts, steamed egg, corn cheese, and other stuff. The service was great, they cooked everything to perfection. We were definitely full and happy by the end of our meal.
I would say this location offers a very modern, and high-end American version of Korean BBQ.
Some things I think they could improve on:
Rice isn't included, which was pretty weird for me as a Korean and a regular at Korean BBQ. Hopefully the addition of more flavor profiles as well. By this I mean that, while the meat and everything was great, you were only really getting meat and vinegar flavors (like the side dishes). If they had a sweet sauce or a side dish like sweet potatoes, I think it could enhance the meal!
Anyway! I would recommend for smaller parties (4 or less) for a special occasion. They offer reservations so I'd use that.
Alex Nguyen
While I’m not a super duper big fan of kbbq (only had it maybe 3 times in my life) I can say this place was my favorite and is worth it. We got the signature feast which included way more than I expected. For the price and tip and tax included, I think it was worth a once in a while treat for yourself or date. The feast included 5 meats, two being pork. It came with soup, egg soufflé, cheese corn, salad, banchan, lettuce, rice, and macarons for dessert. The lettuce and meat is a must. The sauces were pretty good too. Service was amazing, they cut and serve you. I must recommend this spot!
Hyunseok Gil
Amazing service. Beef and pork were great like Mashmallow. Really good paring with red wine. Every single Banchan is authentic and delicious.
liz anik
Interesting experience. Nice employees, great space. Expensive meat but we got a feast with 1 serving and were decently full. Loved trying the different sides and am amazed at the spicy scallion salad
Wolfgang Muller
Really great experience and the food was on point! Went with the Signature meats for grilling and wow, so full half way through so make sure you have enough people with you!
Magz Karaya
Only giving it a 3 because even though it was good, it felt more like a hibachi than a proper Korean bbq. If you're looking for a more authentic experience (where you cook your own things) then this ain't it. Otherwise, prices are what you expect in capitol hill ($$)
T Pham
We got the signature for two and were blown away by how tender the wagyu beef was. Also loved the atmosphere of the place and how attentive our servers were. Thanks for serving us such a great meal!
Roxanne Robles
Went for a friend's birthday dinner and this place delivered. The meat was all cooked to perfection by the attentive staff. They were really great about coming by often and offering to refill drinks and paid close attention to the pacing of our meal. We also had two vegetarians with us and they both found enough to eat and left full!
My one gripe would be that there weren't enough or very interesting banchan. I havent been to KBBQ and don't know a lot about it, so maybe banchan aren't as much a part of KBBQ as other types of meals/dishes.
The 10 of us spent about $650 for two beef/pork combo packages and 1-2 drinks per person.
June
LOVE. We got the pork feast and the wings. For the two of us, the small was PLENTY. We took a few pieces home too. The service was so great, they were very nice and very friendly! And the food... I've had a lot of korean bbq in my life and this is probably one of my top 4 places. The price is a little higher than traditional korean bbq places but its not ridiculous especially because they prepare all the meat for you in front of you, you really just have to eat it!
Nahom Debessay
We got the big beef feast and the bonchon (fried) chicken. It was amazing. Every single item we received was carefully thought out and impeccable. Our had never had an experience like this. Highly suggest buying different bottles of Soju and try the different types. By far the most memorable experience was the service.
Renee Moon
Our group had the best time here. Everyone working there was so nice, funny and accommodating. The beef corn cheese was so tasty and the wings were super good and spicy. The drinks were perfect. And we loved everything that came with the bbq. We will definitely come here again!
arabguy10
Charlie you wonderful human, thank you so very much for helping me with my refund tonight on the phone. Human error or technology error... my reservation did not get canceled, but Mr. Charlie the manager was quick to help me initiate a refund.

Who says you have to go to LA for great Korean BBQ? Had a wonderful dinner here that blew out my expectations for quality, value, and service. I've waited an hour for Parks in LA and Meet has them beat in all categories except perhaps size of menu.
We got the Chefs signature and typically what is sold for two isn't enough for us so we get some additional food, which was the seafood pancake and pork jowl, but this time that was way too much, I was stuffed before the last meat was even cooked. Watch your order size and come hungry!
The sides were all fantastic as well with a really unique tasting kimchi and pickled radishes. And I also really appreciated the high quality lettuce leaves they provide for the table.
Service was attentive and our waitresses were wonderful. I want to recognize how super super hard it is to cook for us as well as a full house in addition to normal duties like refilling our water and bringing out orders etc.
Overall I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this as a worthwhile destination for high quality Korean BBQ!

Wow!!! What an amazing dinner experience. Coming from Vancouver BC, we have many Korean bbq options but nothing quite like this. We tried the signature feast for $64 per person and the cuts were fantastic. Juicy, flavourful and sooo tender. The employees were also very attentive and friendly! Make a reservation and GO!

Excellent service and ambiance, Meat Korean BBQ is definitely a new favorite experience of mine this side of Seattle! The front of house team was very gracious. 🙏
Matthew Nolet
Meet was an absolute surprise. Not only was the food extraordinary, our server, Charlie, was a delight.
Easily one of the best culinary experiences I have had in the PNW. Not only is the food fantastic, but the drinks are on point and every single person at Meet is dedicated to proving exemplary service.
Do yourself a favor; go to Meet.

Meats so good!! Kind of pricey but it is worth trying if you want a memorable KBBQ dinner with primo cuts. We had a large party and ordered beef feasts and pork feasts and drinks. They grilled for us and you get banchan, scallion salad, lettuce leaves for wraps, steamed egg, and the bean curd soup. It was more than average cost but it is in Cap Hill and Seattle prices are just different. Everyone left full and happy so that's all that matters.
Would definitely come again!!
Annika Hald
Super yummy food and drinks! Definitely pricy ($60+ per person) but the food and service was really good. Yunji was our server and they were so friendly and helpful since it was my first time having Korean BBQ and I did not know what was going on😂 …
Ithomiid Inc.
Really good Korean bbq. They cook everything for you tableside. The meats were high quality. Great staff and atmosphere. I want to come back soon!
Javier Larrea
Never had a chance to eat at Korean BBQ restaurant. Have heard of how amazing they were, and this place did not disappoint. We had the Signature Feast for 6 of us and it was more than enough food. I think we all kept getting hungrier as they kept adding different meats to the grill. The soup, the rice and the salad that came with the the meal were the right compliments for the meat flavors. Easy to say if I'm back in the Seattle area I will be back for more.

This is definitely a treat yourself kind of restaurant, but worth it! We went to celebrate an engagement and got the signature feast and the food was delicious! Even prior to arriving (working out reservations) the staff was super helpful as we had a few changes that needed to be made and then we got stuck in traffic, but we called in letting them know we would be arriving in different cars and might be a little late, and they were very accommodating. The servers/cooks were kind and funny letting us know what was being cooked and answering questions. Highly recommend going here if you like KBBQ and want to really treat yourself!
Michael Banks
This is a wonderful place for a special occasion. I like there's a personal "hibachi" style experience of cooking the BBQ right in front of you and the marbled beautifully.
Anh Ly
Fantastic kbbq! We ordered the Signature which included 4 chef cuts, the tartare was phenomenal, and great selection of cocktails
Sarah Kwon Halverson
Hands down the best Korean bbq spot in Washington. Brought my colleagues here and it was their first krn bbq experience. They could not stop talking about what an amazing experience they had.
Ardo Kusuma
Pricey. Good quality of meat. Good service. Lacking in ventilation (air suction).
We got the small beef combo portion (forgot the name) along with pork belly, and seafood pancake.
The seafood pancake was great. It has a lot of seafood flavor instead of just flour taste.
All the meats are pretty good quality given the price, though it's quite good because they cook the meat for you.
I think this is a good place for people who want to get introduced to Korean BBQ. Otherwise, it is a bit too fancy / pricey to come here often. The tables near the front door look interesting as well because they have the air suction really close to the table. That way you won't smell like smoke after eating. I didn't get a table there, though try get that table if you're in a small group. Not sure how many people it can allow.
Davis Wu
One of the best Korean restaurants in Seattle.
Sophia F
We got the signature feast and the galbi, which were more than enough for two people and delicious. Service was great - they help cook and time everything for you.
Landon Chu
We had the signature package for a party of 3 and overall experience was great among all. First, the interior and ambiance were none like other Korean BBQ restaurants. I can tell that the owner definitely wants to run a Korean BBQ differently which I really love.
Servers were attentive and runners were well aware of their responsibilities although they could be a bit more professional which would be a suggestion rather than a complaint.
You'd obviously pay more as compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants but they definitely upped the game to justify. If they can control the meat quality consistently, the reputation will continue to precede itself.
Roger de Torres Fuertes
Best Korean barbecue i ever have. Staff very friendly specially the owner.
Highly Recommended...
Thomas Tseng
The set meals are high quality. Staff are friendly and attentive! Bonus corn cheese for the table 😋 …
Maruf Z
Food is great but way way more overpriced than it should be. Nonetheless, the staffs were really professional and helpful.
Charles S
Hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner here for a party of 28. Minsoo and his staff at Meet were amazing! They truly listed to our needs and vision and accommodated them all. The food was fantastic, and it was quite the feast. Highly recommend!
Steve Shaiman
Incredible food, lots of it, but expensive. Hungry? Check. Love great beef? Check. The variety of beef and the other dishes served is fantastic. Just be sure that you have the time and capacity to enjoy the food properly.
J B
We had to leave in the midst of our meal as something came up but the meat served was extremely juicy and delicious. My mouth watered in one bite. I hope to go there again on my next USA visit. Also, I think even the small feast was way too much for 2 people.
Min Seo Kim
First visit: Meet KBBQ is akin to your local, cozy kbbq joint but taken to the next level without losing any of the intimacy. From the ambience to the service to the quality of food, Meet does not disappoint. That said, it is for sure on the pricier side and there are a few items that do disappoint such as the marinated pork and the steamed egg dish. However I would still recommend this place for celebrations, fancy dinners, and other special occasions.
Second visit (almost 2 years later): The quality has not changed at all!!! The beef cuts are amazing but it still struggles with their sides; this time I tried the "pork rib kimchi stew" and was pretty disappointed. The presentation was amazing but the stew was on the sweeter side and the pork ribs were deceptively lacking in flavor. I still hold the same sentiment as before: I highly recommend this establishment for special occasions.
Jamie Lee
Service was very attentive and atmosphere is nice. The quality of meat was very good.I will definitely be back!
Chris Robinson
You guys best cooking and nice workers & sweet servers & good steak & eggs 🍳 & we love it 🥰 & thanks server us best thing’s …
Sherry Zhuge
Great service and environment! The meat is so good, both the beef and pork.
Oscar Alvarez
Next level Korean BBQ. Staff is beyond friendly and attentive. The drinks, the vibe, the food, it all comes together so well. We were heading somewhere else when we saw this spot and decide to venture in. We are so glad we did. We will definitely be back.
Evelyn Nguyen
Authentic Korean BBQ experience with amazing service. Highly recommend the pork feast & their beef ribs.
Gregory M.
The host, server, and manager all worked to make our anniversary date enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend the Park Meat Feast with the ribeye, tartare, and galbi.
Casey T
This place is fantastic for groups, the meat is high quality and very tasty!
Kaia K.Y. Chiu
Most food options are tasty especially the meat, the only dish I'm hoping for some improvement is the kimchi fried rice...
Another thing is we ordered Pork Feast because we don't eat beef for religious reasons, but the set actually comes with a soup that's beef-based that we can't actually replace with something else, which is unfortunate. I hope there's flexibility in the future that serves different diet needs.
Environment wise - I'm not sure if it's true but looked like the fume hood right above our table doesn't do enough work to suck the greasy smoke out, there's time we can barely open our eyes cuz of the smoke...
Jason Ellison
Great food great service, the prices however are really steep.. Loved the food and atmosphere, but probably won't dine there again. Just way too expensive.
Jaclyn P
Love the service and vibe every time I go here. Only ordered the package every time, so I haven’t ordered a la cart yet. Sometimes the meat can be a bit chewy with a lot of connective tissues.
OMGitsWhateverr (OMGitsWhateverr)
The staff and food were 10/10. One of the friendliest experiences I've had in Seattle
Olivia Riggs
This place is delicious. We LOVE Korean BBQ and decided to try MEET for Mother's Day dinner. We loved the presentation of sides on the table when we arrived to the table. We were surprised to not cook our own meat, but actually enjoyed the experience as it allowed us more time to eat and visit. Each side is delicious, we ate it all (usually there is at least one dish we don't touch), loved the coarse salt provided. The service was excellent. In terms of flavor, this place deserves all 5 stars. We were very pleased with our meal. The only thing we would change is the music! WAY too upbeat and cheery - did not match the mood/vibe of the restaurant.
nicolas slama
Not our thing
meat quality for us not what expected too much fat flavour strange and meat too hard
The pork belly no meat pure fat
The concept very cool
But it is very very pricy
Gloria Elahi
I'm going to miss seattle and their amazing Korean food. We got the mixed feast and they went above and beyond to serve us. Amazing service!
Mica Ann
Close to Starbucks Reserve, this is a great date night place.
You can order a la carte or a feast (good for groups).
We are a party of three small/medium-built women and at first, we ordered a small beef feast and a pork belly a la carte. When the waitress brought in the raw meat, we thought it was too small for our group and changed it to a large feast unknowingly that the marinated meat is still not on our table. I also did not take into consideration the numerous side dishes and rice. Needlessly to say, it was too much food for us regardless of how hungry we were. Do not be like us.
Quality of meat is good. Pricer than I expected. But you are also paying for the great ambiance and service. This is the first Korean BBQ I have been to in Seattle so I do not really have any other place to compare it to in the area. I have had better Korean BBQ though in another city.
Again, service and ambiance is amazing. Perfect place to impress your date.
Claudia Choi
The best K BBQ I've ever had in the U. S.
They're super careful about making sure there aren't any allergens and the quality of the meat is incomparable! The service is incredibly attentive and it should be everyone's first stop in Seattle... unless you're a vegetarian 😅
Simura Gemi
Absolutely delicious! The meat was amazing and the kimchi was flavorful. Definitely for special events
Tree Lemon
삼겹살 pork belly were a great.
And friendly stuff 🇰🇷 …

From the moment my friends and I walked in, this place had my heart and tastebuds. Before getting into the meal, I have to say everyone and everything is really so pleasant- the staff, their service, and this spacious place! Even considering pre-pandemic times, this has got to be one of the best dinners/dinner experiences I have had from start to finish.
My two friends and I ordered the Beef Feast and if you read nothing more, just know that we ate it all smiling with every bite. Everything, banchan included, is so fresh and flavorful. We couldn’t wait to try each cut offered and were always impressed. The sides that come with the feast are all so good you may not want to share (but also they’re plentiful servings so you might need to share). Simply put, I cannot wait to take more of my family and friends to MEET Korean BBQ.
Mai Apichaya
If you are planning to come, I would recommend you to make a reservation online. They are very busy.
Luis Medrano
Great place to have dinner with friends. At the moment they are limiting the time you can spend here to 1.5 hours, so keep that in mind and make a reservation. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and processes. They are constantly helping you to get your food cooked. It is not cheap, but totally worth it. Me and 3 of my friends got two small feasts (beef and pork), and was enough food. We also got a beer and two bottles of soju, and we paid in total around 300 with tip in total.
Pauline H
Had a great dinner at Meet! Service was very good, they cook and cut the meat for you at your table and the pacing was perfect. Come with a big appetite because they serve so much food, including lots of varieties of banchan. Very fun experience and very yummy food. Pricey but worth it.
Claire Yoo
What an experience! Loved their food and meat selection. Definitely going back :)
Jason Lin
Overall a great kbbq place in Seattle proper, probably the best. It’s a little pricey, but would recommend. Steak tartare is good if you’re okay with eating raw beef. Most cuts of beef were good but sometimes the side dishes didn’t taste quite right.
Sara Khosravinasr
High quality food. But we didn’t like the egg soufflé and steak tartare
Eva Chow
The food, service and vibe at Meet Korean BBQ were all on point and definitely will be back again. Food was absolutely delicious and our banchan dishes were automatically refilled without having to ask, even on a busy Friday night. The server was very polite and mentioned they had an upcoming reservation that needed the table. We were getting ready to leave and the host said we could stay longer as he moved things around. We were very appreciative since it was our first night out in awhile to catch-up with friends. Thank you!
Celin Joseph
Lychee Beer is a must try! Loved the steaks and veggies.very friendly staff!!
Kyoki Prusela Phillips
It's been a week and I'm still dreaming about Meet Korean BBQ!!! Great service, and the food was divine
Joon Yi
2nd time here Saturday night. We got there a bit earlier than our reservation but they were able to seat us right away. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. This place is the real deal for high end Korean BBQ. It's legit! Right up there with the best Korean BBQ places in LA, NYC, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta. Quite honestly the quality of the meat is the BEST I have ever had! And their service is top notch. Very attentive and very friendly. Support this restaurant because this city is seriously lacking great Korean food!
Riccardo Panella
A Seattle gem!!
Restaurant is a very interesting mix of elegant/classy and casual, with very nice furniture and a lot of attention for details. Table dressing was fantastic, all the plates, cutlery and serving plates were beautiful and they contribute to set the restaurant style. Service was fantastic, waiters are very professional and knowledgeable about the food that they are serving, kudos to everyone!!
FOOD IS FANTASTIC!!! Meat quality was top notch, picked veggies were amazing (pickle seaweed were soooooooo good!!!), Soup, souffle, everything that we got was very good and I was very happy and satisfied and the end of the dinner. For sure I will go back and eat there again!!
Josh Ehlke
Higher end Korean BBQ. Great service! The feast is a *lot* of food, so come hungry. Quality meat but there are tastier Korean BBQ places out there!
FlyHigh1010
First time at Korean Bbq & this place provided a great intro! Tried out the signature feast which comes with 4 meat cuts plus served with Corn Cheese, Banchan, Ssam, Egg Soufflé & Wagyu Soybean Stew! Good quality meat cooked to your liking for you at your table.
marina musielak
Watching the staff work seamlessly while we ate high quality meats cooked at our table was a real treat. We had the combo feast and it really did feel like that. Our waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was fun. Highly recommended.
Joshua Champion
So good, so tasty, so expensive, worth every dollar
Nicole Vitesse
Great if you like all of these Korean flavors but for a Western palette, seemed simple at times with too much reliance on kimchee. You'll pay too much, be too full, and have too many leftovers.
Nan Carder
Perfect place for a special occasion! The food is grilled right at your table and the chef explains all condiments and how to make wraps with the greens and meats. Absolutely delicious!
Joseph Oh
Some of these 5 star reviews are suspicious. I'm happy to see Korean cuisine be ambitious and I am very grateful to be in a place where I can partake in an elevated experience, but it's either these other reviews don't eat KBBQ very often, they're bought, or just pandering because this was not my experience here.
TLDR:
Meat: 9/10
Service: 5/10
Ambiance: 7/10
Would I go again? : No
I'd like to thank the bussers and expeditors for their excellent service. They were, by far, the most memorable part of our experience. Their kindness was duly appreciated. The lack of Korean representation in their serving staff left a lot to be desired. If the guest execute something with the food that was not intended, I would recommend to not bring an attitude or judgment when attempting to educate your guests. It comes off condescending and pretentious. You charge $4 for an extra plate of lettuce, don't play yourselves. Our server Thomas at least tried to be gracious, but the lady with green highlights whom I'm assuming is the Maître D gave off a very unwelcoming vibe.
I came in with a 4 top, and our total for the Meat Feast, Beef Tartar, a 16oz beer, and extra lettuce totaled around $260 (20% service charge is included). I'm going to be sticking to Federal Way and Lynnwood for my Korean BBQ.
Jason Russell
Chill atmosphere, wonderful service and even greater food! The meat dishes, especially when cooked to your desired doneness are exquisite. Very pricey, but well worth it.
Candido Hernandez
I can't rave enough. Everything was good. I left out of there feeling like I was in meat shock with how many flavorful cuts I had. I will definitely go again. It can be pricey but worth it if you want to splurge on an amazing meal and experience.
Katie Kaminski
Absolutely an Experience
Ask for Charlie. This place does not dissapoint.
Susi Stuart
The beef is great! The service is amazing! Happy to have a Korean BBQ joint so close to home.
Michaela Haniel
I had a really great evening! The meat was cooked how i liked it, there was a large amount of tasty sides, and the drinks were delicious. Most importantly though the service was great, and Yunji was incredibly helpful and kind answering all our questions and chatting 😊 Thank you for a great evening!! …
Laura Alexandra
Very delicious! Great experience with a great service! I really love it!
Oleg Moskalensky
Nice place. Plenty of food. If you like Korean - you'll like this place.
Gina Y
Hands down the best Korean bbq in Seattle! Great quality of meats; very fresh and flavorful. The staff came over frequently to help grilling, so the meats were perfectly cooked and were soooo tender! At first, it seemed a little pricy but it did come with a lot of food. We were a group of 4; we ordered the beef feast and we almost didn’t finish the whole set. The set also came with a variety of kimchi and pickles, and they were all delicious! I’m not even a pickle person but I enjoyed all of them.
Only wish they had more options for veggies but overall this is the best Korean bbq place I’ve ever been to in Seattle and I will definitely come back!
Ruby Stacholy
Phenomenal experience! Staff is very knowledgeable and very equipped to give you a great dining experience. They cook the food for you at your table.
Rachel Han
As a Korean, I wouldn't recommend this place.
This place was really good the first few months but it's going downhill. It's definitely one of the better KBBQ places in the Seattle area (meat quality, service, ambiance) but it's still overpriced. I always get the signature feast and every time I go, it seems like they give you less portions. The meats they pick are also not great in terms of variety. You'd think for $62/person, they'd give you more variety instead of regular pork belly and pretty bland (under seasoned) beef. If we're ordering a signature 'feast', where is the brisket? Where is the spicy pork? Where is chicken bulgogi? Etc. Don't just serve us under seasoned meats for 80% of this 'feast'. Their banchan (side dishes) are also underwhelming - most of them are pickled vegetables, and not true Korean banchan. Real Koreans know that you judge a restaurant by what banchan they serve you. I'd say this restaurant is pretty lazy or they don't have the proper staff to put out authentic Korean banchan. Their soybean paste soup always tastes different each time as well. The Korean steamed eggs are too dry and not authentic Korean. Soju is overpriced in every Korean restaurant in America but charging $16/bottle is ridiculous. Service is decent as they're pretty attentive but there's this guy who's always there and he forgets when I ask him for something, and I have to ask him multiple times. The rice they give you is also such a small bowl. 20% service charge on every ticket is a bit much as well especially if I'm just going with one other person. This might be new but we were also kicked out around 7pm when our reservation was at 5:30pm because they had another reservation coming. This would've been nice to know when I booked the reservation, or at least tell us before we are sat down. By the way, most places have a 2 hour max but 1.5 hour max at an expensive place feels rushed. I couldn't even finish all of the items that we paid a ridiculous amount for and was given two, small to-go boxes.
If you want an authentic Korean BBQ place, this is not it. A lot of folks who've not gone to KBBQ might think this place is good because it's your first time but this place doesn't reflect an authentic experience. Go to Mirak Korean BBQ Restaurant in Federal Way if you want a more authentic experience (although they don't have the lettuce there) - meat variety, banchan, soups are way better there. I might try Exit 5 Korean BBQ in Renton, and see if they're any better.
Richard
Great veggies, meat, and service. They had some of the best, fattiest beef I’ve ever had and we all left very satisfied.
Total for a party of 8 was about $53 per person with drinks. Well worth it.
Bahar A. Alipour
Amazing food and service! A bit on the pricier side but the quality makes it worth it
Nate Chien
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! They have great quality meat with great service! If i had any questions about the meat, my server would always give me a thorough answer. It is hard to find a Korean BBQ place that you don’t have to cook the meat which is amazing!! 10/10 Highly recommended!!!!
John Wick
Incredible korean bbq here! A bit expensive but its worth the price!
Mouni Reddy
High quality meats, fast service and priced to match the offering. Make reservations before you go as they get busy. The signature feast was plenty with leftovers to take home. This is the closest we have to LA style Korean BBQ.
latch
The server was really friendly. The kbbq and banchan were amazing 💕🎉😊 …
zz y
High quality of meat!Especially like the pork belly - sooooo juicy!
Alex Song
Expensive but good. Felt robbed but was happily full. 20 bucks for a btl of soju
Cory Straim
This place has got to be the best Korean bbq I’ve ever been to. They cook at your table, use really amazing cuts of meats. Their banchan was perfect. Highly recommend. We got the signature feast and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Definitely coming back, often
Nancy Dee
We eat a lot of kbbq and this is hands down the best in the area and is comparable to experiences in Korea
Camille
I’ve been a fan of sister restaurant Chan for years, but ordered takeout from Meet Korean BBQ for the first time tonight- AMAZING. Bento boxes are huge (tremendous value for the price) and the flavors are unbeatable. Chef Charlie is the best!!
Marco Ponti
We got the feast and it was amazing, we had the best waiter ever, he was extremely attentive to replenishing the Nanchang and making sure we had a great time. Also the food was so delicious, highly recommend.
Jason
Good food.
Good service: waiters grill your meat for you.
A little bit pricey if you are getting drinks like soju and beer
Francisca González Cohens
This is one of my favourite places in Seattle! The food is simply amazing! Delicious! The drinks are really really good too! And the service, excelent! Warm and dedicated :)
Jessica Thorndycraft
Excellent tasting menu. We loved all the food and service was excellent. Very busy because of the soft opening. Highly recommend the chicken wings and the wagyu beef was the star of the evening. They do not take reservations but the food is worth the wait. We can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu
Anca Rizescu
Food was ok. My complaints - tables were very close to each other to the point of feeling very uncomfortable. I am talking pre-covid uncomfortable. I was back to back with another guest and had nowhere to move my chair. Also, the table can't be moved either because of the grill and exhaust pipe above it. Second, the helper was at our table non stop, turning over the meat, almost unnecessarily. It was impossible to have a conversation with my son over dinner. The air conditioning was not low enough to counter the heat from the grill. So, all in all, an uncomfortable experience, feeling crowded and sweaty while eating with a stranger hovering over our food non stop.
Madeline Menard
Delicious, upscale Korean BBQ! We got the Signature Feast which gave us a sampling of all the cuts of meat and more than enough food.
This is certainly pricy, but the quality of the meat, service, and sides lines up with the price they charge.
Takpor Yealu
Best Korean BBQ my wife & I have ever had. Even better, the service is top notch. These cordial folks work as a team to ensure your delicious meal is efficiently cooked. If you select the Signature Feast, be prepared to take some food home — well worth it!!!
Annette Lafave
Amazing staff who were so helpful with us novices and explained the process and how to complement the meats. The meat is top quality and being from the beef state this says a lot. Highly recommend!!
Anthony Penniston
This new KBBQ place takes over from a previous KBBQ in the same spot but is an unrelated establishment. It is much much better and I was pleasantly surprised it delivers in every way. Modern, industrial yet comfortable setting, tables set-up with a variety of tasty Banchan appetizers ready as you sit down. Delicious cuts of meat grilled to perfection in front of you, and satisfying portions. To top it all off, service was great! I will be coming back for sure.
Philip Gissen
I came to this restaurant with friends who were visiting from Wisconsin. Their daughter is a Koreanphile, dating a young man with Korean heritage. This was her opportunity to introduce us to Korean cuisine. Meet Korean BBQ is a steak restaurant, not truly a representative of the culinary tradition of Korea. Yet, when a person is excited about something, it’s cruel to “burst their bubble,” and we went along on this journey.
The presentation reminded me of a place called Benihana, that I dined at about 45 years ago. My apologies to Korea, as Benihana was a Japanese steak house, and no one should forget Korea survived the Japanese occupation of their country. The two countries should never be confused, but the restaurant concept at Meet Korean BBQ was very similar to Benihana’s. The server grills your meat at your table and there are dipping sauces and sides. The meat was okay. When the owner came over, his name was Park, the steak he chose to grill for us was decidedly superior.
The patrons at Meet BBQ were primarily groups in their twenties, enjoying the booze and camaraderie. Looking around, I felt ancient and very susceptible to getting Covid. The people dining in the restaurant were obviously not concerned about the virus. Maybe if I was in my twenties, I would feel the same way. But I’m decades from my twenties, so I ate quickly, donning my mask when I was done. The prices were sky high at Meet Korean BBQ, and as the oldest in our party, felt obligated to pay. Hey, maybe those young people dining around me can get me a job in technology at their salary level. When I was their age, McDonalds was a splurge. It’s a different world, but is it better? What will these kids expect when they’re older if they have everything now? I have no idea.
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
High quality meat and it's full service (the owner even came over and cooked our meat for us). So glad they brought back a kbbq place where trove use to be. We've also tried the ayce at trove and this is way better. Get the zabuton and corn cheese. So freaking good! Also enjoyed the big soju cocktails that were super refreshing. Make a reservation for large groups. Small order feeds two and large feeds 4. Will definitely be back!
Valentina Kostenko
The most amazing korean barbecue dining experience. Everyone was so kind and gracious all evening. Really made our first night out since Covid 19 so special. Loved our server! Such a sweetheart. Would recommend to anyone who will listen!
Tyler Nghiem
Amazing service and sides, quality of the meat was good, not the best. We got the signature combo, the kalbi and pork belly were the softest.
Ray Zhong
The meat quality is really good; small plates are delicious!
JIN KIM
Upscale korean bbq. Great place. Amazing place for good grade meat and dating. Prepare to spend some cash tho. Those high grade meat doesn't cost nothing.
Kelvin Wong
Good quality meat and it all tasted pretty good. If you are driving, parking can be a pain to find so make sure to come early to get enough time to find it.
JT
Good staff and good food. Absolutely Nothing is wrong with this place for me!!
K Min
Meat quality was just okay. Not an authentic Korean bbq restaurant.
Travis Kubota
They even cook it for you! Best in Seattle!
Raphael Puletz
Fantastic staff and high quality cooking and morsels! Locally sourced from Washington and surrounding states like California and Oregon and such. The full variety platter was amazing. So fresh, delightful, and deliciously prepared.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for here! Filling, but not bloated after. One of our favorite spots now to bring a friend or family for some authentic Korean cuisine!
Garrett Ottoaz
First time at a Korean BBQ. Great experience. Friendly staff, even when masked. Food was great! It is a pricey meal but was worth it for an occasional special meal.
Turtle the Cat
Went with my girlfriend, and this is the spot Capitol Hill and Seattle really needs. A welcoming modern vibe combined with delicious makes this spot a hit. Come with an appetite, and make sure to sit at the bar to wait for a table. It’s well worth it, and will show you what Seattle has to offer
Prasad Thakur
This was our first Korean BBQ experience. Amazing food and great service. We got the small Pork Feast. Portion was more than enough for 2. Highly recommended.
Jisun Yi
The best Korea (bbq) restaurant in the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ban-Chan & kimchee is good (you can always tell the quality/authenticity by the side dishes at a Korean restaurant), service was great and they have our favorite Korean been on draft!
I highly recommend them!!
Mike Calandra
One of the best meals of my life. Big portions = come hungry 😋 …
Jason Mach
Excellent service and excellent food. Got the large beef platter and it was perfect for 4 people. Great quality meat. Best kbbq I’ve had.
Riley McCloskey
Really great! Delicious food and love that the servers do all the work for you and you just get to eat. I was apprehensive before but did not have to lift a finger and loved it!!!
si jae byun
It is really great beef!
Richard Hood
Excellent service and really good food.
Sarah Vogler
Loved the atmosphere! Great place for a date or group dinner! Definitely want to experience this place with your loved ones or friends 😊 …
Cain Nam
Literally the best KBBQ in Seattle right now. Make sure to reserve ahead of time. Great service, food, atmosphere, and experience.
Angel K
Service was great. Free flow side dishes. Choices of meat were amazing. They are only using premium meats like Zabuton & Wagyu.

I went here last weekend and already want to go back 😭 I got the beef feast with a group of 4. The feast came with a lot of side dishes like tofu stew, cheese corn, and egg souffle, and everything was amazing especially the stew.
Meat quality was amazing. I used to think I had no opinion on meat quality because at all other kbbq places I just felt like I wasn't tasting that much difference between different meats, but each of the meats we got here were so delicious and it was fun to see the difference a cut can make in the meat.
One thing that I also liked is that they grill the meat for you which makes it easier to just chill and enjoy your food. Our waitress was also super nice and did a good job with the grilling.
We also got a seafood pancake which was pretty good, but not sure if I'd get again along with the beef special because all together it was a little too much food.
I'm usually not someone who likes to spend a lot on food and this total came out to something like $75 which is pretty expensive, but this was definitely a rare moment in seattle for me where I spent a lot on food and it was actually good 💀

What a feast! We had 6 people and ordered a large beef and small pork on the feast menu, and it was way too much food (although we finished all, uncomfortably). All the beef tasted super tender. The volcano egg was a highlight for me. We also had a seafood pancake - good a bit greasy. The service was incredible too - they grill for you so the meat was right on. Would come back!

Dining at Meet is always a wonderful experience. They make it enjoyable for large groups or for a table of 2.
Do yourself a favor and get the zabuton. They will cook the meat for you to your liking. All the side dishes are good, the stew is good, the egg soufflé is good. In the past the other cuts of meat were also good. Tonight we also enjoyed the seafood scallion pancake and kimchi fried rice.
They included an 18% tip on the bill (not complaining), just mentioning.
Also parking is atrocious, but also it’s cap hill so what else is to be expected?
Seare Ogbamicael
Best Korean BBQ in the world!! Maybe not the world, but it's really good. :)

After the first half of the meal, I thought this was going to be the best Korean BBQ in Seattle. The food was great, especially the grilled meat and the variety of side dishes. But other than the meat and the steamed egg we were not able to finish a single dish. The waiter would take away the dish when there was 10-30% left to throw away, without saying a word. For side dishes I thought they were taking them away to refill them, nope, never saw them again. They even took away 4 pieces of lettuce, when we were still eating the meat. Why? Aren't you supposed to eat the meat with the lettuce? Why take it away?
Other dishes that they took away that we were still eating:
Kimchi fried rice, fermented bean stew, corn cheese, scallion salad, several other side dishes.
What a waste of food.
Note that they cook the meat for you. In the middle of cooking your meat, waiters would periodically leave the grill and come back to flip the meat. For the marinated beef they left the meat on the grill for too long. The waiter clearly looked surprised when they ran over seeing the meat engulfed in the flames. The marinated beef was burnt to ashes. We had to ask whether it was too burnt for them to take action. Initially they were defensive saying some people prefer to more charred. It was not just charred, some parts were burnt to the point where they were inedible, judge for yourself from the attached picture. But after the initial defensiveness they eventually were very apologetic and gave us a new piece. But why be defensive in the first place?

We ordered marinaded short ribs and pork belly, and seafood pancakes. They were all very tasty, full of flavor. The service was attentive, they cook the meat for you and do a great job. There weren't too many sides, but the salad and lettuce wrap provided good balance to the meats

Excellent meat, service, and overall ambience! The portions are great and meat quality and taste are amazing. They also cook for you which is nice.

2022. 07. 08 visit
This is a Korean meat restaurant with a sophisticated interior and concept. The inside space is large and there are many tables. I visited after making a reservation, and it is a place where many people visit in the evening. The space for preparing meat inside the store is an open kitchen, so you can see the chefs preparing the dishes, and it was nice to see that the inside of the store was clean overall since it opened not long ago.
The set menu is large enough for 3 people to eat. If you order a set menu, side menus such as steamed egg and corn cheese are provided. The set menu consisted of 3 types of meat, so it felt like it was relatively cheap. The quality of the meat wasn't bad, and the waiter kept grilling the meat, so I was able to eat comfortably. By default, the bilge price includes a tip of about 17 per cent, so it's a good idea to refer to it.
Not only Korean beer and soju, but also various types of beer and wine are available. If you are not full of meat, there is also a menu such as seafood and green onion fried rice, so the menu selection is not narrow. It is a place with a willingness to return.
HyeYeon Kim
The most delicious meat in all of Korea and America.
The corn cheese and steamed egg that come with the set menu are also quite delicious.
The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere in the store is very good.
