Reviews of Li'l Woody's
The Picky Eater
We ordered delivery so scores based solely on food. Fries were fresh cut and delicious. The picture doesn’t do them justice. They were a little soggy from travel so I imagine they are even better fresh. Their fry sauce is very good! Burgers were fantastic. Nice crunchy lettuce, meat and fried egg cooked perfectly!

I stumbled into Li'l Woody's after doing a search for places to eat near me on Google. I am so glad that I tried it. The staff was very friendly. The Big Woody a flame broiled bacon cheese burger with fries that were real potatoes cut at the restaurant were excelent. If you are ever in Seattle make sure to stop by.
Sorry I didn't include a picture of the Big Woody. I lost the pic.

Okay, I realize that my being from the desert southwest comes up frequently in my reviews. In my defense, it's relevant when I bring it up.
I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by Li'l Woody's New Mexican. It had REAL (though very mild) Hatch green chile. To make my visit even better, they made my burger actually medium, a testament to the chef's skill. That the patty was thin makes this feat even more impressive. It is incredibly rare (teehee) to find someone who can cook a medium burger anywhere.
The atmosphere was lovely and the service was what I expected. The prices are also reasonable for the location. Overall, I was quite pleased with the whole experience and look forward to going back; of course I'll tell my friends, too.

The Ballard location is clean and safe feeling. The Cap Hill location made me feel I got a foodborne illness just while ordering. The tables and red food baskets at Cap Hill are permanently sticky. I can't see how they pass health inspections. The attitude and knowledge of the staff leave a lot to be desiered. But the food is excellent every time! I ate at 2 different locations 2 days in a row. I tried the New Mexico burger, the Pig and the Fig and the Karikari Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich. All were outstanding in taste. I am thankful Lil' Woody's doesn't take the easy way out and use frozen fries. Cap Hill- please clean up or cover up those exposed closets and areas back by the bathroom. When I see all that fifty all I wonder about is "How gross are the areas I CAN'T see???" I also think "Thank God I have a strong immune system." And LW's thanks for keeping a fair and affordable price point for us working folks! Much appreciated. I love your food.

The burgers are absolutely PERFECT! Shake is on point, onion-rings are to die for, the fries are delicious. Only thing we didn't absolutely love was the queso, on the cheese fries. But, I think that is more of a personal taste thing I could see where some could really enjoy it. It has a taco seasoning taste that didn't match the rest of our meal. Enjoyed the actual restaurant I could see where it could fill fast but, I think that is some of it's charm.

Woody's makes top notch burgers fresh and delicious fries. The basic burger is all you need to feel satisfied. The interior is small so expect to be cramped if you're with a group. You really need to take these to go. Parking nearby is nearly impossible so expect to walk just a bit. Don't go during peak lunch or dinner unless you want to be in a line out the door.

What an awesome experience especially during covid!!! The woman at the cash register was such a sweetheart. Her and her husband both works there, I forget their names but ain't it such a beautiful thing to be able to be with the one you care about the most doing what you love doing?!?!? The Cambodian brother loves to cook and is quite the cook, if I say so myself. They made sure to inform me of the different options as well as what's their best seller and make sure that I was token care of. For a burger joint they made me feel like a million bucks!!! Try em out if you are looking for a great burger spot....

I got the Big li'l Wood's hamburger and fries. The hamburger was full of flavor and tasty. The fries were salty but I tend to like a lot of salt on my fries. The staff was busy and eger to please. Great place to eat.

Great little spot. I needed a snack and the queso fries were good. I do usually prefer steak cut but I wasn't able to complain as the queso sauce is super great!

It took me 2 days to clothe my body, to remove my person from my flat, to go on a quest to acquire cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. So yes, I was stoned partially out of my mind, walking down Pine (or was it Pike? I will never get them straight because who in their right minds would put such similar street names parallel to each other?), when I glanced on the left to see a hamburger joint. Odd, I have never recognized this place before even if I have lived 0.2 miles from it for 3 months now (thank you for the precise measurement, Google Maps.). I was ready to ignore it because I am not a burger person... But wham!!! The smell of grease permeated the air and hit my smell receptors just right! Inevitably, I followed the smell of onion rings and thoughts of cheesecake immediately died.
Inside, the menu was just too much for my stoned self. But "fig and pig" sounded appealing. And don't forget the onion rings. Did I say that already? 5 times maybe? No? Whatever. I don't look THAT stoned, could I?
I could not trust myself to hear the cooks call out the order number, let alone match what I am hearing to what I am seeing on a piece of paper under a dimly lit 2nd floor loft space while trying not to space out. But somehow, I managed to get my order with no issues, even with a staircase in my way.
No time wasted. I dug in. The burger? Not my type of bun, but it's the typical white burger bun but a bit toasty, not too wet. I kind of like it. The patty is thin but juicy, and it's accented with the crispy bacon. Honestly, one of the best things that ever graced my stoned lips. There were layers of taste in this sandwich! Those onion rings? Omg, crunchy crispy, inside warm with sweet soft onions. The root beer float? Whatever ice cream they put on the float really enhances the flavor of root beer (and you have several brands to choose from!).
Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this random lunch I decided to take at a burger joint. I went on to acquire my cheesecake and went back home, mission accomplished. But the entire trip was memorable because of this side quest.

We came here on recommendation of a person working at our hostel. We loved the whole place - the burgers were great, the staff was friendly and the amount of food was perfect for two people who had been walking around Seattle for the whole day!
We found it also great that the menu wasn't too packed. Some burgers, some sides, and for everyone who couldn't decide there is the possibility to put their own burger together. Also, prices are really good! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
Eric Wollard
Was craving a burger, fries and beer and this place was walking distance from our hotel. Hit the spot. Tasty well cooked burger, good not super greasy (but not super crisp) fries. Only two beers on tap but very fresh. SUPER friendly staff. Small but functional dining area. Didn't have a shake but saw many people get them to go and they looked great.

I love the food here! Burgers are cooked to perfection. Fries are thin and crispy and lightly seasoned. A variety of sandwiches on the menu. You can get chicken, fish, and veggie sandwiches as well. Sooo good!! Can get a little sloppy depending on what you add to the burger, but so worth the mess. My only issue is that when I order, they do not put my sauce in the bag. This has happened both times I ordered pick-up. They charge you for sauce, and don’t even care enough to put it in the bag. It’s funny how something so small can be so freakin ANNOYING! The sauces are a great little addition to your meal if you ever actually receive them🙄🙄 I use the Capitol Hill location.
Jérôme N
Great burger, fries actually cut on site (you can see the cooks cutting them!)
Ryan W
First time in Seattle, let alone the US. From Melbourne and I love my burgers, the hotel recommended me this joint. Absolutely nailed it. I do love a messy fat burger from time to time as well. The place had good atmos and we sat near the window for the best experience. Would recommend and would go back there.
Dasha Pushkareva
Good value for money, this is the biggest portion of fries I’ve ever. 3 stars because the burger wasn’t salted enough and the fries were mostly just oil
E M
First time here. Staff were very helpful and ample amount of seating. I was expecting a heavy burger but they’re pretty light here and I could easily wolf down another one. Bun was fine, patty was cooked well and tasted delicious with the sauce.
Sam Cullis
First hamburger in the USA and these guys are killing it. Had an awesome burger with plenty of fries. Keep at it guys! Sam from the UK.
Yovi
I love the fries and burgers - fig and the pig and the pendelton are *chefs kiss*
My strawberry milkshakes always milky/watery tho. I've ordered for pickup and in-store and it's always been so. Does that mean the malt shakes are normal consistency?
Jacqueline Martinez
We were Hungry after the Raiders vs. Seahawks game, so I googled places near me to eat. My family wanted a burger joint & we were not disappointed. Place was clean, staff members were friendly, hamburgers & onion rings very tasty.

Order a smoked out burger which had a nice smoky flavor, pretty well balanced burger😋 …
Alyssa Poletti
Really fun burger spot. The side of fries is huge. I love how I can customize my burgers. I'm really excited for the special this month, which is a Beecher's Mac and Cheese Burger!
Gi D
Itsbeen a while since I've eaten here, but man I missed this place. It must have been a long time, because they now offer GF buns and I was so happy. I love the wrap, but there's just something about actually getting a bun. Endulged a bit too much, got fries with their queso, and a strawberry milkshake. Food coma and totally worth it.
Amy Martinson
Delicious gluten free cheeseburger!!! They make fried fresh, hand cut and made to order. I just ordered a side of fries and omg it was so much I was able to share the yummies!! I also ordered a mint chip shake.. omg so delish!!! Next time I am visiting Seattle I will come again!
Ann Howard
A delicious delivery of Grilled tasting burgers. Excellent thick cut onion rings, and a good strawberry shake.
We didn't want to go to the location so we opted for Ubereats delivery bc we had a $20 off discount. Ultimately, if we did not have this, the hefty fees were covered with this discount would have deterred us from ordering as other platforms showed this business was closed.
Really good fresh hot food and a cold and tasty shake.
Garret Stembridge
Here’s the thing. I actually really liked the food. I hated the service. The guy at the register was such a jerk. Gave us attitude from the moment we walked in. Asked what shake is good. He rolls his eyes and mutters, “chocolate vanilla.” Ridiculous.
Thankfully the food was good. The vanilla shake was out of this world. I’ve never had one like that. Such a delicious and unique flavor.
I got the burger with bacon, blue cheese and pickled figs. Wanted to try something new and it was amazing. My buddy got their big Woody burger and loved it.
So, if you’re in the mood for a good burger and shake, try this place out. Just expect to be completely underwhelmed and probably frustrated with the service.
Ariel Jensen
I highly recommend the fries & onions rings! & the Salted Caramel milkshake was perfect for dipping fries. The vegetarian burger option (a black bean burger called the “Veggie Veggie”) was okay—I was hoping to try the “Impossible Burger” but they were all out. Overall, I loved the food; my one main complaint would be that the space at our table felt small and cramped (and not just because we bought so much food).
Beau Johnson
If I'm over on cap hill, or at the convention center for a con - I'll likely be hitting them up every day. The place is pretty small but I just eat my burger over in a nearby park anyway.
Hanna Slaughter
Super good burgers. Great atmosphere and throwback tunes. I got the big woody with their horse string fries. Super filling- fries came out piping hot and we couldn’t eat enough of them! Their portion size is big so come hungry! They have bottled sodas at the front and extra seating upstairs. Be sure to bus your own tables and come with your appetite!
AL BLAIS
Hidden burger joint with a charismatic interior.
The burgers are good but it’s a little pricey for what you are getting.
Service was decent and food was delivered quickly perhaps only because it wasn’t busy.
A second try might give a different perspective.
Hunter
Delicious burger place just up the road from the theater. I had the Smoke Out burger with fries. I really loved the flavor of the smoke out sauce and the bun was very light and fresh. The fries could have been a little more crisp to me, but they had good flavor and were not soggy.
Charles Hanskat
Good burger. Hot crispy thin fries (lots in the side order). A short walk from downtown Hyatt. Shake was OK though not very thick tasted fine. Limited seating on the main floor and some additional upstairs. Friendly staff. Good delivered to you as soon as it was cooked and wrapped. Prices were reasonable.
Jonathon Collins
Ok, so I was too hungry to have a photo sesh with my food, but trust me. The food looked as good as it tasted, and oh man was it tasty. Like a good old home cooked griddle burger, cheese melted perfectly. Then HAND CUT FRIES!! They were awesome. Had to get my burger bunless due to gluten but they expertly crafted an easy to eat no bun burger ( a lot of places throw in a Tun and call it good 😡). COVID protocols were being adhered to, and staff were working diligently to wipe the place down.
Shawn X
Over all staff was nice, burgers were good fries were better. The burger was not what i was expecting considering other reviews. This place is commonly at 4.5 stars but although it tasted fine the burger waa flat and small ... more like. Better tasting fast food burger then one you would get from say Fridays....still, fair prices and a good meal
Tom
Came Saturday morn for a quick breakfast sandwich and burger. Quick easy and beat the rush before noon.
David Antal
Never been disappointed with the basic burger; it's the only one of the many burgers offered that I choose every time.
Victor Gonzalez
Amazing burger joint. Some of the best soggy fries in the city. Very flavorful, solid burgers in a convenient spot. Would recommend. The shakes are solid too
Anthony Ricci
This is the west coast version of Five Guys; which is AWESOME! Burgers were juicy and delicious. Order less fries than you think you need cause they give you so many (which is a good thing!)
Bruce Kelly
Had the weeks special and I must say that it was the most flavorful burger I've ever eaten. This place impressed me. I give 5 stars for the flavor, presentation and price.
Evan Meidell
This was a great burger! Really enjoyed this place. The seating was sparse when we were there but other than that it was great!
Jonathan L.
Really delicious burger place. They offer tillamook cheese, and a good variety of sauces. We tried the chipotle mayo and fry sauce, both went well with the burger and fries. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the man at the register was very curt and seemed pretty annoyed that we didn't immediately know what we wanted to order. It was our first time visiting so was a bit off putting, don't need to be bubbly but could be a little more patient. Would still go back for the food though.
Arleena D'Silva
The burgers are good, onion rings are good too but the down side is you got to pay extra $1 for using card payment, there's no wifi, you place an order, pickup and clear the table like you'd eat at any fast food joint
Abi W
This casual burger place with it's balcony seating and friendly staff offered a excellent choice of burger toppings to make your own Li'l Woody's burger. A few good options: avocado, fried egg, caramelized onion, a number of sauces and cheeses plus your regular fixings.
They also make the classics and a couple specialty burgers. I personally had "The Trotter" which had caramelized onions, apple, bacon, and horseradish. With a side of fries, this meal hit the spot!
Joseph Lopez
Great burger in Seattle. Fries were also good and the sirachi mayo was good. A little pricey for a burger fries and a drink 13 bucks but that's Seattle for you. Not the biggest burger but filling and good.
Hai Nguyen
Always consistent, the reg menu is must try but some of the rotating specials are legit gems, which means you gotta keep coming back or checking their socials! I always order on their web page and walk over and they have it ready to pick up. There's a nice kittle park around the corner where you can watch dogs run around or head up to cal anderson
Holli Margell
Real flame broiled burger patties!!! Need I say more? Seriously, good burgers, fries and vibe. The place is not as bougie as boutique burger places, and not as cheap as others. It's that comfortable middle ground, good food for a reasonable price. Their vegetarian bean burger is my personal fav!
PolythPam
The lil Big Mac tastes like what a Big Mac should taste like. Great staff who clearly love their work. Made to order milkshakes, fresh cut fries, and killer queso sauce!
E M
If you are in Seattle or driving through, I highly recommend Li'l Woody's.
The guy who served us while we ordered was super helpful, his recommendations were spot on.
The burgers are great. Atmosphere is what you should expect of a unique and pleasant burger joint. We had both the beef and chicken burgers and the reccomended beer which complimented the food.
Great place.
lupe vega
Great burger. Frys are also amazing. I tried the fru sauce and Chipotle mayo, both good Chipotle mayo is smokey and has a great kick
Scott Monahan
The food was great, just what I expected but I thought the service could be better. The guy at the cash register was a little rude and wasn't helpful at all. Being the first time in there they expect you to know what was going on and how to order, it could been more welcoming. You order and then you can sit down and wait or you can wait and take it to go.
The theme was alot like the 80's and the music went along with it. I thought it was a cool place and the food was good.
I would go back now that I know how it works.
John Waterman
The burgers were freakin' awesome! Fries could have been seasoned a hair better, but still great.
Sam Van Ginhoven
Good burgers and a inexpensive menu. The fries were too salty. The fry cook went a bit overboard.
ThingThings
For a person who has worked in fast food for almost 14 years , this is one of the best burgers I've had
James Kalkstein
After hearing so much about the resturant, I finally had to check it out for myself. It definitely lived up to the hype. The meat was cooked to perfection, the lettuce was crisp and the bun wasnt too thick or thin. Im not overly crazy about their fries. Personally I think they could be cooked a little longer but that's just me. The small container you see was one of their fry dipping sauces they offer for a small additional fee. It was well worth the change it costs. I opted for the handspun milkshake over their selection of bottled beverages and it was just the right consistency to allow you to drink it though a straw without being too thick or thin. I was a little suprised that the milkshake was so expensive though. Overall, I give them 5 stars. Anytime you have a staff that's as courteous as theirs it's instant bonus points with me. I will be back with my family and friends for sure!
Ranjan Lamichhane
This is a good joint for a quick burger and fries break. They are pretty good and reasonably priced.
Gabe Bursk
Tried this burger place out by ordering two of the regular burgers with some fries and onion rings.
The main reason for lack of stars is the taste of the basic burger. On the first bite it immediately reminded me of some cheaper fast food options and nothing that would make me return here again. Something about the meat and bun combo tastes cheap.
The fries were pretty good, albeit the upgraded size felt like what a standard order should be in the case of takeout. Onion rings were pretty standard fair.
Overall I would not return given the plethora of better options elsewhere on the hill.
The Stockingers
Meh. It’s okay. Super sloppy burger (see pics), with chewy, fatty, undercooked bacon (who EVER likes bacon like that?). They do have amazing onion rings and fry sauce, and a good selection of root beers by the bottle. I won’t be back.
Kevin Casey Reger
Loved the food, queso fries order is humongous, didn’t finish them. I would get to go unless you wanna smell like grilled burgers. Had the burger with pickled fig relish, bacon and blue cheese. Also had the New Mexican. Both flavorful.
Dustin Repp
Loved this place! Small, hole in the wall style burger shop. Great food, good prices and friendly staff. I had the Big Woody and half a tray if queso fries and it filled me up. Will be back for sure!
Julia Hustler
Ok burger place. Fries are delicious but need seasoning salt. Burgers are decent to really good. But only really good at best.
abez
Really great place! I highly recommend it! The burgers are 10/10!
Se Na
Very tasty burger, quick and easy location. Good for a heavy snack that keeps you full the whole day.
Bernard
Seriously gd burger n fries! Fresh ingredients, nicely done bun. Going back later to try their other offerings. Delicious!
RJ M
Great food! Definitely above average. The fig and the pig was amazing. Quick service, awesome food, chill atmosphere. 10/10 would go again.
Jeffrey Lanz
Rarely do I find something that grabs my attention like this place. Simple burger combos with big taste!
Tom Bauslaugh
So happy I happened to find this place. Great burger and fries, not expensive, nice vibe. Will come back whenever I'm in Seattle.
Chad Cluff
Really enjoyed the big woody. The onion rings were superb. My wife ordered the Pendleton, add bacon, and got a chocolate shake. Both of which she said were great. I washed my meal down with a mint chocolate chip shake. Probably can't go wrong with anything.
Aspen Green
food is pretty good but there was no soap in the bathroom... same one the employees use
Abhijat Saraswat
Delicious food at very reasonable prices.
The food here is absolutely delicious - the menu has a fair amount of options including a vegetarian option.
Anya Gessesse
Really hits to spot if you’re looking for burgers fries and milkshakes. The shake fries are really a game changer and I have never seen that at a restaurant before.
Kacper Jarecki
I went there to eat with my friend and it was only $20 total for 2 hamburgers and a huge project of fries which we shared. The fries came with a chocolate milkshake for dipping!
Rindra Ramamonjison
Great burger joint not too far from downtown. Great value and I loved the Big woody burger.
CE Hardin
Lil Woody's was great and I'll definitely be back. If you like burgers definitely a place to try. I went to the one in Cap Hill. If you're driving street parking can be tough there is a garage off of Melrose across from Homegrown that's $6+tax for the hour.
I had The New Mexican and queso cheese fries. It was great. The Queso Fries are definitely big enough for two people. I definitely would like to go back and try their other signature burgers.
When you come in be prepared to wait outside if it's busy. The amount of room you have from the entrance to the register is small. If you're looking to grab a bottled soda also be prepared to ask people standing in front of it if they don't mind moving. There is a fountain machine if you want to go that route around the corner near the stairs. There is decent amount of seating. About 4-5 tables, window seating with stools and there is additional seating upstairs.
Chris
Friendly and amazing staff that will help you achieve burger enlightenment.
Minorities are welcome as all he** here!
+1 will come again
Everything is made to order.
Jack Moran
Excellent, simple, yummy burger joint; good prices, good burgers. The fries are the best in the area, skinny cut, well-done, peels on, and you get a lot. All of the people working there really seem to care about making a good basket of food. Onion rings are also A+. We are locals who live close by and hit Lil Woody about once a week.
Tabitha Brainard
Great tasting burger. Loved the queso..only thing I would have liked to give it a 5 is the fries to have been done and crispy they appeared soggy. Will for sure try again.
Chad Sheffield
Great burger but the fries tend to be off the limp and greasy variety. Still pretty good though.
Alan Becker
I just stopped in for a quick burger, and was not disappointed. I got the half pounder with everything, and smokey grill taste came at no extra charge. I'll write again after my next visit.
Steve Erickson
Great burger with onion rings to end the week. Great and quick service.
Debbie Lin
I want to like Lil Woody's but every time I eat here I'm reminded of why I hardly ever do. My partner loved her Fig and the Pig, but my Waffle Burger special was disappointing with butter-soggy waffles and not much maple syrup flavor; the beef patty was dry and I couldn't tell whether it was seasoned. For context, one of the top three burgers I've ever had was a waffle burger, so this was really an issue of execution. I've had their fries before and been unimpressed by their lack of crispness, so I gave a milkshake a try instead - it had good flavor but I've never had a shake that was so runny (honestly, Jack in the Box has better milkshakes for half the price - better lots of things, now that I think of it). Maybe Lil Woody's will redeem themselves when I give their burgers another try in a few years.
Riley M.
The fries were delicious, I love thin and crispy fries. I had the veggie burger, and it wasn’t anything special. Not the best burger place in the world, but certainly not the worst.
Grace Lott
Service was terrific the food is delicious and I would definitely recommend this place to people. I was my first visit here and I live really close by. I wanted to check this place out because I walk by it all the time. Price is pretty cheap for fries and a burger but I love it
Tyler Robinson
I prefer the smaller (1/4 lb) patty burger. Fries are solid. Good selection of retro soda like cheerwine
KC McGuire
We love Lil Woody’s! The queso fries are amazing and the burgers are even better! They are so well priced too. Can’t wait to go back!
Michael C
Good burgers! The fires were not as crispy as I like them but had good flavor. The atmosphere was great!
Dominic Sellers
Great tasting burgers. Well priced. Ye haw
Matt de Neef
I'd heard about this place from colleagues so I went to try it out - great burger and a nice alternate take on fries.
Robert Clark
The burger was really good but the fries were terrible- soft, overcooked, and a little too salty. They were hot and very thin, but needed some crisp.
Guillermo A
I’m a California Resident and I’m really sad I won’t be able to eat here for a long time! The
Burgers and fries are very delicious, staff is extremely kind & friendly, music was great and the ambiance was cozy. I would trade all the In n Outs to have a Lil Woodys in California! 10/10 will come back again!
Robert Durff
Decent, but not exceptional. The double burger I had with cheese, tartar, and fixings (daily special) was tasty, but the patties were tough and chewy. The bun was excellent - soft on the inside with a nice buttery crust. The facilities were a big turn off for me though: water leaking through the roof, gross bathroom even by my tolerant standards. There are a lot of really excellent burgers these days in Seattle. This wasn't one of them, in my opinion.
Carmelambition
I am always a fan of lil woody’s. They have really good quality burgers and they are always good. When you order online though, sometimes the food is ready way before it says it will be and then your fries are gross and stale. I’d love it if they added fries as a topic.
Frank Tenace
Great burger and shake. Really appreciate using Tillamook ice cream in the strong shake.
Madison Aubrey
Ordered the impossible patty, got a meat patty instead. Reached out to their customer service. After providing the location and date, I didn’t hear anything back.
Edit: received a $15 gift card and a sincere apology, so I bumped my rating up. I don’t think I’ll be returning, but I appreciate their response.
Chris Nguyen
FY YEERRRR!! I had the Woody, fries, and a soda from Sioux City. A must have when u come to Seattle. I'm from California and I've had a lot of burgers but this one is a BANGER!!!
ilya nikitenko
The food was dank. I am debating if I should buy another sandwich. But then I am like naw the food here tastes amazing. However I am trying to lose weight and this place with there good food is not helping. Oh and they have a hot sauce that is said to taste better than Sarot Cha.
Joseph Mickelson
Remembered coming here like 10 years ago and had to come back on my latest trip to Seattle. Did not disappoint.
עפר ויקסלבאום
Nice, groovy atmosphere
Deliceous burgers
Great french fries
Chandler Lacy
Good burgers and onion rings. Cheap beer and good atmosphere in the restaurant.
Oren Dado
Nice burger place, inside it was cold and so welcoming
Evan Reygers
Quick and delicious burgers. Great lunch spot.
Theasha G
Tried the burger of the week with fries. Burger was tasty but lacked some crunchy element. The fries don’t transport very well so had to reheat in the oven to crisp it up again. Want to try their classic burgers and milkshakes to gauge it better
Char Beck
My favorite greasy burger in Seattle. Well priced and the fries… are So freaking good. Oh and the shakes. Goodness, this place is always a win for me. Every now and then you get very blunt (and could be seen as rude) customer service but they are just making burgers and doing it well so you can’t blame them. 😆 …
Alex Wolf
Great burgers, very customizable, kinda expensive but satisfying. Mediocre fries.
Ethan Thompson
Great burgers! Fries were a little too salty for my taste, but fried to be a nice soggy and crunchy consistency. Space is tight and it was packed when I went on a Tuesday evening. I'd recommend it but, but be ready to take your food to go or hope that there is a seat available to enjoy your amazing burger.
JuniL
Yeah, this place is perfect local hamburger house. I can resist this one.
James Dewar
Sorry to anyone else who makes and sells burgers, but these are definitely the best in the world. I went two nights in a row to sample more burgers. On night two I ditched the sides (which were great by the way) and went for more burgers. Hard to pick a favourite, but start at the top of the menu and work your way down, you won't be disappointed - everything is exceptional.
Ariel Levy
I don't know if you travel from far away places to eat $10 hamburgers, but I do. If you don't have to take a flight to get to Woody, I envy you.
Rebecca Morrow
Found this great hamburger place tonight with a friend and we can't stop talking about how good it was. We wish we knew about this place sooner! It is a must visit. The queso fries were amazing and the hamburgers were so fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was very inviting and the music was great. The staff was very kind. I will definitely return many times...so much more to try.
Kat Sanchez
Loved it so much we came back to grab a bite to eat on our last night in Seattle. They are so nice and friendly.and the food is so good and delicious so sad we have to wait to eat it again for our next trip out to Seattle. Food is fresh environment is nice and mellow .
Max Willis
Smoked out burger was pretty fire. I liked the smoked cheddar they added to it. Fries were similar to Dick's but not as tasty IMO. I went during an apple pay promotion and paid about $6 for a burger and fries, but the regular prices are pretty in-line with most cap spots. $8-9 for a burger. Definitely worth checking out for their unorthodox burger concoctions!
Vikas Rao
If you are looking for a burger with fries you can try this place.
Susie Voong
We came here after a show and was glad we did! The burger was flavored perfectly and was so juicy. It was the perfect size too. I liked that this place is open late for late night eats. The basket of fries was a lot for two people and they were okay, nothing to rave about.
Michael Graham
Excellent burgers. Service is much better these days... Used to part of the ambiance to get bad service but an amazing burger... 😆 It cracked me up. Something that I came to expect going to Li'l Woody's. …
Cheryl Lim
Lovely burgers with quality ingredients. Flavorful beef patties, good selection of cheese. Skip the fries, they're too soggy for their own good. Onion rings are pretty awesome though! Made from scratch and deep-fried to crunchy perfection.
Robin M
Gooey, greasy, hearty burgers are the thing here. Their onion rings are fantastic and the fries are good too. They are of the fresh-cut variety, crispy and soft at the same time.
This is a great hole in the wall burger place - not a gourmet experience. Don't go in expecting something that it's not. :)
Erik Griswold
Food tastes pretty good. I would certainly hope it tastes good though, because you're paying close to $10 for a burger. Two burgers, large side of fries, and two drinks is going to be nearly $30.
They tend to cook their burgers very well done, so if you like it a little pink then you may want to say so when you order.
Scott Stevens
This place is a gem. Short walk up Capitol Hill to a great little burger stand with some of the best burgers I've had. The buns are thick so the burgers don't fall apart, the meat is grilled perfectly, and there are enough fries in a basket to easily feed four adults (so remember that when you're ordering fries). I wish I had tried a milkshake, but I already felt bad enough.
Miloš Pálek
Love it a lot, quick and tasty burgers for reasonable prices. Draft beer too! 🍻🍔 …
Andrew Carroll
One of the best burger joints in Seattle, you can always rely on them for a classic meal (burger, fries & a shake) but they also do different burgers of the month where they bring in local chefs to make unique burgers, or (either October or November) they recreate iconic fast food burgers like Big Mac, whopper, Crunchwrap.
TLDR...If you like food, definitely eat here!
B E Padgett
Greedy. Had the special a little too sweet for me. Should have known better. Had maple bacon
David Tomaschik
Great variety of high quality burgers, made to order. Beer available on tap. French fries are mediocre and soggy, but onion rings are crispy. Also offers a wide variety of shakes. Very limited seating, almost all tables are tables for 2 people. One larger table is available upstairs. Nice local establishment for a solid but quick bite.
Josh Jansen
Solid fast burger. Recommend getting the siracha Mayo, it’s great.
Trekael Majors
Average American food. Definitely the go to spot when you're just trying to get a bite downtown after partying. Customer service sucks and the menu doesn't have combos, which is annoying.
Tim Van Buren
I had the New Mexican and it was a killer burger. It was hot and juicy and the chilies were great. The painted hills beef made a great patty. Mom had a milkshake and it was thick and chocolaty. The interior was cool. I liked the loft area and the rustic tabletops. We sat at the counter and enjoyed all the hipsters walking by, and the reflections of lights.
Earl C
The weekly burger specials, easily found on their coherent and organized Instagram page, are typically incredible and often inventive.
The restaurant is narrow, but with an upstairs area full of tables and varied seating options downstairs, it rarely feels cramped.
Friendly (by Seattle standards) and attentive service. Milkshakes are made with Full Tilt ice cream, a local purveyor of handmade ice cream. Incredible, of course.
Rawan M.
The chicken sandwich was si freakin' delicious!
The service was really good tho ☆
Hector Torres
I used to come often and the burgers were really good with natural meat and the fries were much better.
Now the taste is average the quality of the meat is poor like any other place with frozen meat. The fries were just burned and with a lot of oil. To sad to see a good place going down the road.
Andy Puccio
Very good burger joint. All the burgers are cooked to order so they are super fresh. The fig and the pig is my favorite, but all the specialty burgers are great. Also, they give way more fries than you'd expect.. you've been warned.
Jayant Sahewal
In just a few visits, I have started liking this place a lot. I have tried only their chicken sandwich and veg burger and both are amazing! The only thing you can complain about is that they don't give you a side of fries with the burgers which I guess is forgivable when the burgers are that delicious!
Laura Morrison
6 of us in our group, great burgers, I had the trotter was very good lots of flavor. Fries for days no need to order for each plenty to share. Only item to miss the mark, the salted carmel milkshake the 2 that had it said way to salty, I didn't try it. Onion rings were a hit. Limited space for a big group, we managed to put some tables together, definitely busy so eat and on your way.
Mason White
Lil' Woody burgers, fries, and onion rings on this trip. No room for one of the great, thick chocolate shakes. Next visit will have to include either Fried Chicken Sandwich or a Pig and Fig.
Zoraida Ingles
I love their late night hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I always come here when I'm craving a good burger. And they make really good burgers.
I generally have a good time here, mostly because the atmosphere is one where I can easily relax in. Starting at 10PM they play 90's R&B and it keeps me hyped.
The service is fun, polite, and very engaging.
Salal
This location and staff is incredible!!! Great burgers and awesome fries. Nice staff in a clean environment. Eng and Vanessa really make this place shine ! Highly recommend a visit !!!!
Jonathan Hunter
Awesome burgers. And you must get their onion rings and dip them in their fry sauce! Heavenly.
Ray Ressler
Nice little place. Great burgers and homemade fries. Service was good. Burgers were cooked fresh at the time of order. Oil settled to the bottom of fry basket making the fries at the bottom inedible. I definitely will go back.
Alexander Youngblood
Everyone has their own opinion on what the best burger is but I love everything this place does. The buns are airy and toasted, the patty charred on the outside juicy on the inside, the fries are flavorful (sometimes a bit too soggy but the flavor makes up for it) with delicious potato skin still on, and their shakes and thick and flavorful. I love the style, they are super fast, and their specials are always creative. My favorite burger in Seattle. I almost always get the the classic lil woody. Also super reasonably priced.
Traci B
The burgers have a nice seasoned taste to them, the milkshakes were awesome, but the fries tasted like fried salt. Nobody in my group ate more than half their fries. The line was long but went very quickly. Comfy atmosphere.
Maria Young
Favorite burgers in Seattle so far!! Plus the prices are awesome. If there is 2 ppl u only need a side of fries not a basket, unless your French fry crazy.
Jeff Davis
Really great place every time I go. The cashier is a nice guy the food is fast for a small kitchen and very tasty!
c f
Went here for the first time the other day. The "build a burger" system is great. I had a really simple burger with just cheese, onions, and mustard, and it was phenomenal. The beef patty was cooked over fire and had a wonderful grill crust on the surface, while the center was ever so slightly pink, which made for a perfect texture and moisture level of the beef. Also, the seasoning of the patty was spot on, which in my experience is uncommon even at a good restaurant. An overall masterful preparation of the lowly beef patty. The fries were generously portioned and excellent; they are hand-cut, wrinkly fries, somewhat like what they serve at Dick's, but they were much better than Dick's fries (which I also like.) My companion had a burger with avocado and bacon, and she said it was excellent.
Marshall Ray (Mars)
One of the best burger spots in Seattle! Their weekly specials are usually pretty fun and unique (and delicious). I always recommend this place to fellow burger lovers.
Molly Proctor
When you walk up, there is always a line. But it moves fast, and once you get your food you realize why there's a line. The burgers are phenomenal!!!! I ordered the White Center Elementary burger and it was stacked high with 1/3 pound of grass fed beef, lettuce, tomato, Avocado, pineapple, bacon, and BBQ sauce (I may have even missed some ingredients as this was one experience of a burger). Fries are delicious and hot, made fresh and fast. Make sure to stop here if you're close by, and if not. Go there!
Cassie Fleischer
Had the best burgers of my life here - so good, we came back twice in one week! My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle from Buffalo, and this was a great place to relax and hang out with great food. Definitely what we needed, and definitely recommended! The staff were all very helpful and patient with us deciding.
Jaakko Kuoppamaki
Their signature is one of the best burgers in town given that it costs $6. Smoky and flavorful, plus the location has a good vibe. 10/10 would burn mouth devouring burger too quickly again!
Marissa S
This is a great casual place to get a burger and fries. It's better quality than fast food without the prices of a sit down. It's the best! Do yourself a favor and snag a table as you wait- seating is limited and it's always packed. Awesome place!
Marc Barringer
Very good hamburgers and fries at a very reasonable price. Was very happy to find this restaurant before we headed back home after our overnight in seattle for The Lion King! The staff was very friendly and the food came fresh, fast and hot. Can't ask for much more.
Brian Donhauser
Great spot. I'd go again to try other items. I don't think it's as good as Lunchbox Lab. Kind of a push between Red Mill and Great State.
AMBIANCE:
+ Cool Spot. Great Vibe.
- Bit too open to the street on the bottom floor.
- Music loud enough that I struggled in conversation.
FOOD:
+ Big Woody burger awesome.
- Bun kind of disintegrated
- Lettuce and tomatoes weren't terribly high quality.
+ Shakes were nice and light in flavor. Not overdone. Really liked it.
Senthil
Good burgers all the time.
LOVSMYLS Ro
This is so good. Now when they say good burgers and fries oh and milk shakes. This is where you go. Its pretty cool that the owner takes from the restaurant in Tacoma Frisko Freeze. So just know you pay for everything separate but it was all good. Best part they had fries with milk shake.
Matt Kessler
Delicious burgers and fries! We sat in the loft area which was nice and quiet above the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Milkshakes are good and basically melted ice cream. Fig and the pig burger is sweet and savory.
Varun Sukesan
Been here a couple times.
Best dishes: I had the smokey one, which I liked. The classic woody is apparently popular as well. Well-done thick shakes and fries.
Food quality/Consistency/Price: The deal here is that it's basically one step above a fast food place, which the quality and price reflect. The burgers are solid, definitely taste grilled which is a clear perk. Interesting topping combos as well.
Wait/Atmosphere/Service/Location: Kind of a small place, but it's capitol hill ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The guys behind the counter were really nice both times I was there.
Zachary Loeffelbein
Fantastic food! Everything came out quickly and deliciously, some good classic sodas to pair with whatever you order. They always have creative and tasty specials.
There are options for vegetarians/vegans too! Be sure to ask for the "Impossible Burger," soooo much tastier than a beef Patty.
murray nolan
Great burgers that I'd happily eat again. Fries were soggy and poor.
Rob Bobel
Great small buger joint. Staff was friendly and more than accomidating.
Sam Aran
Cool burger toppings, decent food. Not the best burger I've eaten, but there was nothing wrong with it either. It takes a while to get, but the kitchen is small and the cooks are working hard. The shakes are tasty and thick, if that's your jam.
Ray Wehrs
Nice selection of burgers, but cooked well done. Toppings were fresh and the french fries were excellent. The noise from the bar next door I could of done without and the staff, although they weren't rude, could have been nicer.
Napoleone Piani
Super hard to choose which burger is the best. Each time I've gotten something from here it's always been great. The big Woody, the trotter, etc. Next on my list is The Fig and Pig.
Don't come here if you don't want to smell like a grill, though. Worth it for great burgers and fries though.
Niall Jones
Delicious smash burgers w/ the option to build your own. Service was friendly and prompt. You can add malt to milkshakes... YES! The only downside were flacid, slightly soggy fries - it's as if the oil temperature was too low or the potatoes were a bit wet before frying, could've been a one off.
Joe Sels
I got the green hatch chile burger with bacon (not sure if that's what it's called exactly) and it was so good. Onion rings were really good too but kind of a small order for the price (I believe they were battered onion rings) and they make you pay extra for dipping sauces which I always dislike. If you are going to charge so much just make it a little more and include a sauce of choice. I also got a strawberry malt that was extremely thick and done just right. Overall I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a truly delicious burger meal, but for just under $30 for 3 items and some sauce..... I'm no regular customer.
EMI WU
Best burgers in town! Amazing staff and great music! Handcut fries and if the smell of grilled burgers doesn't draw you the hand dipped Molly Moon's shakes might! I love the chicken burger and my dude gets the big woody.
Katie Hallock
After a long day of exploring and the drive back from Mt. Rainier, my pregnant belly was screaming for some real food! And a burger was exactly what I wanted!! I'd heard great things about this place and it seemed perfect for occasion because I just needed a quick bite and was the only person in our party eating. I ordered at the counter and requested it to-go. Not too long after, the burger was in my hand!
I chose the burger with pickled figs, bacon and Gorgonzola with a lettuce wrap. Boy did this thing taste like heaven! Ravenous pregnant lady getting the crazy burger she needs!! The thin patty was perfect considering the overflowing toppings and filled me up without making me feel sick. The pickled figs had a great balance of sweet and sour and bacon is always awesome.
This was and all around great stop to make. Convenient, friendly and uber delicious!
Cameron Lowell
I often get overruled but this is one of my favorite burgers in Seattle. Really fatty and juicy burgers with a good array of sauces. Fries are decent. All in all it's a gut-bomb but the flavor is amazing, especially when you're already a little tipsy.
Gainor Whitaker
A nice place to share a huge basket of fries on a rainy day. You can buy specialty burgers or build your own for pretty much the same price. I am know how this sounds, but trust me when I say you should try the flavored crack.
Ashley Villafranca-Sedino
This burger place is soooo legit! I came in laat might at like 1.30am after a metal show. I got a regular cheese burger, a regular fry and root beer and it was only like $12. The fries are soft and sooo good! A regular is huge, i couldnt even finish them! All the workers there were soo chill and sweet. 10/10 will be back to try something new. My new favorite burger spot
Michael _
The milkshakes are worth every penny and delicious every time. Went in at 2:30 AM on a Saturday night, was a line that went out the door but one of the staff saw and recognized me and started my milkshake for me. Seriously fantastic customer service even when slammed busy. The burgers are fantastic too, love this little hole in the wall.
Elizabeth Arena
Quick service, everything was excellent, mistake made that they immediately refunded without us asking. Black bean burger was better than I expected (don't like them usually). Excellent onion rings. Not in Seattle often but will go again!
Omar Garcia
One of the best cheap burgers in cap hill. Even though their fries were a bit soggy, they give you a ton of them
P K
Amazingly good burgers here and super appreciate that they offer an equally tasty gluten free bun option!
Ian Gray
Great burgers FAST! I don't know how they do it but on nights that it's so busy that they have to turn off their phone to keep above water (yes, that happens so don't keep trying to call) I walked in and had a burger and onion rings in-hand within 10 minutes.
These guys are amazing. Whatever they're doing works and well.
Alysha Landes
I love the fries, they are skinny and cooked to the right crunchy and the right amount of salt.
The bun was really good but was soggy. The patty was over cooked. Overall it's a good burger
Sashi J
Wow! Really great burger and fries went there a few weeks ago.. Guy at the register kinda blah but I'm not there for the company just the amazing food! Place was clean, impressive hygiene with switching out gloves while preparing food. As a healthcare professional that was a huge +.
Daniel G
A little more on the expensive side. I wouldn't say the burgers were very large, from what I remember. I wouldn't stick around the upstairs for too long, the smoke from the grill tends to build up and sink into your clothes. The bathroom was very cool, I couldn't find it for the longest time.
Still the burgers were very good!
Crystal Hanson
Friendly staff, cozy location, and delicious (if unassuming looking) burgers. Their fries tend towards the thin and bland bit they have a nice crunch that goes well with their specisl in-housr made sauces. Try the "Mo Pop" Shake with crushed chocolate espresso beans in there!
Jan Pospíšil
The best burger I have ever had. Really, I mean here you can get burger like while eating you are just about to have one more.
Menu options are kind of limited, yet you can have classic burger, veggie burger and more.
Do not try to challenge big fries, you are going to fail 😁
Woody’s is always my very first and very last stop while visiting Seattle. Let me know if you like it or not.
If you like it as takeaway, there is a small park to crush just one block southwest. You will find other buddies there with Woody’s burger. 😁
Matt Lagueux
Great burgers - both the perennials and the weekly special, really good fries (if you like the shoestring type, and make sure to get crack or the queso!). I've been coming for years and have yet to be disappointed. Only downside is it can get a little busy and take a bit (10-15min is the longest I've ever waited), but the wait is 100% worth it
tony potts
THE BEST late night food place on the hill. It's like a in-n-out. Consistent food, service is good, and the decor is dope. Come here when you have the drunchies after a long night out and guaranteed it will be the best burger you've ever ate, and you'll probably have less of a hangover the next day.
Kaycee Taylor
Quick food, not fast food. Quality burgers, beer on tap, efficient and friendly staff. Grab a window seat if you can and dip your fries in a yummy handmade shake. Good value, clean, busy but a ton better than any megachain burger joint
Miss. Smith
I use to come here a lot back in 2014 and loved it!... Revisited in 2019 and the burger patties taste like cardboard... :(.... Maybe they've always tasted this way, but my burger pallet is has grown and became sophisticated, and now I want nothing but the best lol... I dunno.
Laighton Cain
Hands down, best burgers in town. I love their burgers so much it's almost a problem for my bank account. Try the fry sauce.
Oscar Peterson
How I wish we had a Lil' Woody's in my area. We visited Lil' Woody's on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm/3pm. It was not busy at all. I ordered the veggie burger and a lettuce wrapped burger. The veggie burger was awesome. I could tell that it was made fresh as I could taste all the fresh ingredients inside of it. The fries were good and fresh as well. Will definitely return when I go back to Seattle.
Gwyneth Marayne
My friend and I didn't know what to expect when we first walked in the door. The rustic interior set the tone of the dining experience. We looked at the giant menu on the wall and decided to split the queso covered fries and each burgers. My friend got the Woody's Jr., while I had the Sr. Oh, I had a root beer float, something I haven't had since childhood. Our burgers were amazing, with a different flavor in every bite. The queso fries were off the hook. I've never had fries that good. The float brought back memories of old. Staff at Woody's were extremely kind and answered any questions we had. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Jason Fasi
Great inventive burgers here that don't break the bank. The fig burger is tart, sweet and aromatic: not what one would expect to make a good burger, but it works! They often also have a lamb burger that's tasty. The staff here is very efficient.
zabar shnaider
This brewery was super adorable with lots of outdoor seating and even a little garden with sunflowers out front. An ideal spot for some people watching. Came on a weekend so it got busy quickly, but service was still timely despite the crowd.
They have a unique selection of beers to choose from. I got a purple haze beer which was actually purple! So cool and had a little fruity sour kick to it. To eat I had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich which came with a side of pickled veggies I believe they make themselves. It was outstanding, I gobbled the whole thing up, even the meat that overflowed from my sandwich.
Idalia Brenner
Just ate here after looking up nearby burger spots. The pics looked awesome so we gave it a shot.I got a spicy sly, flings and chili while the b/f got a phat bob and a coke.Everything was really good and the burgers are huge! The chili was just ok but we still downed it.Next time I'll have to try the mint Oreo Shake. The guy at the register is super friendly and makes sure the line keeps moving fast. Not many places to sit but still worth trip.
Dylon J
Good price for the hill, late night bite! Decent size burgers, great flavor, fast didbt wait no longer than 10 min and there was 3 in front of me. Only thing is the way the line forms makes it feel a little crowded. I come here often and will continue to this is a good spot i recommend trying it.
Kai Groves
Amazing burgers and onion rings. You can make your own burger or choose from a great set of favorites. Love the wood decor - gives the place a great vibe! It's perfect to sit at the counter facing the street with good food and good drinks!
Katia Ortiz
Traditional burger place. Small space to sit and long line but definitely worth it. The Impossible Burger is amazing here! Giving 4 stars because the fries are too salty.
Alex Busman
Best burger place around. One of the few that will actually put peanut butter on the burger. I know it sounds gross, but it is delicious. Staff can be hit or miss, but for such a small place, I'm willing to look past that for their excellent burgers.
Seth F
I come in all the time. The food is amazing (I recommend the Pendleton with a chicken patty), the guys in there are nice, and it’s a great place to grab a burger in Seattle. I recommend calling ahead since it usually takes ~10 minutes for them to make your food.
Eric B.A
One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I got the new Mexican. The best part of the burger was the melted house made queso. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is limited seating. The only bad thing about this place is that there are no meals/combos. The menu is à la carte.
Kharis Catchings
Food? Meh
Shakes? Yes
Good view from the window seats
Cyrus Patel
This place was delicious. The meat had a smoky flavor, and it was cooked well. They also had interesting toppings, such as pickled figs. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because my fries were a bit soggy.
John Mostrom
Nothing fancy here. Great burger combos and great fries. Be ready for a unpretentious adventure. Busy place with minimal seating, good "unhealthy" food. I think the best part is the upbeat staff!
S
I got the big Woody burger with a Coffee shake someone here recommended. The burger was ordinary...I wouldn’t go back for it. The shake was a nightmare. It had too many huge chunks of Coffee beans in it, making it impossible to drink through a straw. The taste was fine, but I didn’t enjoy chewing through coffee beans for it. Staff were all great.
Kyle Mayfield
Great hole in the wall burger place. Great fries and tots, incredible burger. Would definitely eat here again.
Peter Lam
In town for a convention and had some late panels, ended up walking over here to grab food to-go a couple of times. First time I got the Big Woody, which is a standard bacon cheeseburger. The meat was somewhat overcooked but pretty good. The standard fries are shoestring - partially burnt and did not travel well. The vanilla shake is appropriately thick but still sip-able with a straw. The second time I tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was still moderately juicy after traveling. I opted to pay the extra for onion rings, and they are by far superior to the fries. They looked like they came from an actual onion instead of those uniform frozen rings. They also carry Cheerwine and a number of bottled root beers worth checking out. All in all, a good option for late-ish night food runs.
Caleb McOlin
Great place to grab a quick bite to eat and a beer. There is a second story which has more room for larger groups, or to spread out your stuff if you need to. Service is fast, and orders are accurate. The food is also quite great. I'd recommend "The Fig And The Pig", with fries and a beer of course.
Jevon
Some of my favorite burgers in Seattle! Pig & Fig FTW! Smoked Out is tops, too, and great onion rings. Competes on taste with any other burger in town, and probably my top choice when you consider value for price.
Keejaa Wachowicz-Ramgotra (Keej)
Good burger! i Loved that i could go there at midnight!!! Note to Seattle restaurants!!! We need some night spots he'll no more bauhaus midnight coffee runs. So not cool ! Wheres my 1:00am coffee joint?
Cameron Thomsen
This is THE burger place to go to in Seattle! Li'l Woody's doesn't have fantastic burgers, they have the BEST burgers.
Great food, fast service, and a cool loft area!
Only downside is parking. I usually have to park 5-10 blocks away. Still, it's worth it.
Carlos Miller
Excellent service and satisfaction of food. Fries are delicious. A little salty but who doesnt love themselves some diabetes. Burger was superb. Hand it to the chefs to.
E.S Ko
Burger's good.patty juicy..
but fried potatoes were fried too long.Too much oil
Tadeo Saenz
Excellent hole-in-the-wall hamburger joint! My daughters love eating here. They have regular burgers but heir vegan Impossible Burger is VERY tasty (and I'm an omnivore)
Ray Castillo Jr.
One of my favorite places to get a burger on Capital Hill. My favorite burger to get is the Big Woody. They even serve Molly Moon's ice cream, if you're looking for a little something after your burger.
The serve is a hit or miss at this location. There were times when I was waiting 10 minutes for somebody to take my order and another 30 minutes for my food. When this did happen, it wasn't even a Friday or Saturday night.
None the less: good burger, good prices, and good beers on tap.
John Hansen
Good burgers and shakes. We brought all the kids (ages 8 - 20) and everyone found something they liked. Fries will serve four normal humans or one teen boy.
Carla Zuniga
Cool, unique decorating. Delicious burgers!!!! And great fries, they look burnt but trust me they arent and they taste amazing!! Love the food here. This place is a must if tou are looking for a good burger with fries.
Adrian Avena
Back when I was in highschool, a group of friends and I were walking around Seattle and wanted to find some food. We happened to notice Lil Woody's and decided to give it a shot, thank God we did! I ordered the Pendleton and to this day I'm convinced it is one of the BEST burgers I've ever had. I live about 30 minutes away from Seattle, but every trip I take to Seattle I make sure to grab lunch/dinner here before leaving. You'll regret not stopping by.
GhostWalker Gaming
Had an amazing Chicken Sandwich and shake my favorite when I go there ! Oh and hot fries with Chipotle sauce is killer!
Dwayne Wilson
The new Mexican was delicious! The.mild green chilies were cooked to perfection and the queso complemented the Char-Broil taste. I'm from out of town (Charlotte) but will definitely visit next time I come to Seattle.
Antonio Drusin
Atmosphere is great. The team working there was upbeat. Someone said fries were burned. They were right. Fries are not to good. But the burger is great. Overall a good experience.
Joshua Perry
It is a decent burger but the cashier (middle aged, thick glasses and tats) ruined the experience for me. He was extremely rude and didn't seem to care about the customer.
The place was empty and we were the only ones in line and he was short with us when we asked questions.
Someone like this should not be the frontman for your business...I really hope he is not the owner!
I go out to eat for the experiment, just as much for good food and I want to be treats well, not poorly.
I am not impressed enough by the food that I would continually endure that kind of treatment.
Mike Solomon
Big burgers and lots of fries. A basket for my family of 5 is plenty. The onion rings are awesome. I got the fig and the pig and it may have been the best burger I have had. Will be back.
dave loveland
It was great. The fries are cooked to perfection. And one order will feed 3 people. Burgers are fresh and cooked to order. I will be back to try the entire menu.
Lia Boyd
Great tasting burgers. Shakes are a bit on the sweet side, and the subpop in particular typically has large coffee bean chunks that get stuck in a straw.. even when I asked them to grind the shake more 😁 …
Sophie Debs
Fig and the pig is absolutely insanely good. Teared up while eating it. Everything's pretty good and reasonable prices for the area :)
Gio & Cris Borillo
🍔Good burger 😋😋😋 definitely a recommended Seattle go to place. …
Lennie Moore
Burger was okay. Nothing too special. Fries were addicting.
Steve Childress
I don't always have the budget for a burger meal that's more than eleven bucks, but when I do, Li'l Woody's has not disappointed yet! The Big Woody (1/3 lb. Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles ketchup and mayo) is my favorite. They play decent music, and the atmosphere is chill. Check them out when you can.

This was a burger experience which transcended my own existence. The gentlemen working the line were the epitome of hard working American. I can only hope there was some profit sharing plan in place as these boys were as much a part of the atmosphere as the classic soda bottles they served.
The burger was an amazing quagmire of beef, grease and... well really just beef and grease. And don’t forget the bit of pink in the middle. That sweet, sweet goodness of pinky middle to sink your tongue into.
The basket of fries was hot plentiful and salty - everything you would hope they would be be.
And don’t forget the shake that MF’en 6 dolla shake was worth every MF’en dollar.
10/10 would do again.
Davin Patterson
average at best. im a big meat eater, and i felt the impossible burger was atleast equally as good as their beef burgers. their fries were below average. im not saying I'll never go back, but it won't be me suggesting to go back.
Russell Babcock
Delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had, and this one had peanut butter on it. Had them reproduce a burger of the week from a couple of weeks ago - totally worth it. Burger, cheddar, bacon, mayo, peanut butter. Amazing.
John Milligan
This is a little hole-in-the-wall burger place. Pretty much just burgers. The Big Woody is a good choice. They also have a larger than usual selection of shakes. The Chocolate Shake is quite good.
Lukas Kucinski
The burgers are very good. I give 4 stars because when I came the music was blasting so loud I couldn't hear my number called and my food sat there for an indeterminate amount of time... otherwise I had a good experience. Recommend.
Darryl Ford
Great burgers and sandwiches. Tried both the Big Woody and the Fried Chicken Sandwich and both were tasty. Fries and Onion Rings were also good (big shot out for the Onion Rings, as its generally hard to find good ones) Worth a visit.
Samantha Carson
Best food I think I've ever had in all my life!!! There buns are awesome!
Destini Petitt
I read that they had the best veggie burger in Seattle. I would agree with my limited time spent in the city. You should definitely try them out and order the cheese fries! Delicious.
Lizzie E
Super friendly and nice staff. We got the vanilla and chocolate milkshakes, hands down some of the best that I’ve ever had! Their chicken sandwich is amazing as well! Will definitely go again!!
Michael El-Jiz
Classically good
Fries with queso
I tend to go for their default burger, the lil’ woody. But all their items are delicious. Try the Mexican one!
The fries are deliciously crispy and salty - exactly what you’d expect. Compliment that with a nice dipping sauce. Be wild - they have a wasabi aoli that’s quite good.
They have a variety of unique sodas and beverages.
Veena Sangkhae
Good burgers and fries, the special (Beecher's mac&cheese burger) was delicious. There is a decent dining area and they are open till the early morning; however, the dining area is closed during the late night hours and you are also not allowed to consume food inside during those hours.
Adam Howard
Very good burgers, but the chocolate shake is out of this world. They don't mess around on the fries either. Not a bad place to blow $20 on a burger, fries and shake.
Bud Cashatt
In my humble opinion this is one of the best burger places in Seattle. I love the small but effective space they have. I also love watching my burger get cooked up right in front of me. I would highly recommend the trotter and don't be scared to make it a double... The crack is one of the best things ever so yes I see you eyeing it, GET IT!!!! Vanilla is the best btw...
Pavan Kumar
1. Veggie veggie burger did not hold up. It breaks easily while eating. Taste wise decent but not great.
2. Best vanilla milkshake I have ever had.
Andrew Binder
Amazing food, friendly and fast service, as well as some affordable prices for the quality and quantity. Burger, tight. Fries, tight. Shake, tight. Cheese, tight. Me, I'm wack as hell, but this place...amazing.
Arvind Arikatla
Decent burgers similar to Dicks but more expensive.
Dannette Jaidinger
First time eating here. Burgers and buns are ok. Order of french fries was huge. Thin fries were not close to crisp and limp. They went to the trash.
For the price of their burgers, won't be going back.
Marc Sexton
Cook redid a burger for my friend's son who has autism. Burgers were great!
P Fern
Wow! One of the best burgers I had in a while. The one with the figs and blue cheese. You have to shout your order over the explicit rap, but great food.
Matthew Marshall
Some of the best burgers in Seattle. Hand formed, all natural beef really makes a difference. That said, the shakes are nothing special and the prices are on the high side. Clean place, productive and helpful staff.
Blake Werner
I take a detour on my walk home from seattleU ATLEAST once a week to grab a burger.
For some reason the burger tastes better when you eat it in the shop. It doesn't make sense why that would be but I recommend taking the time to soak in the atmosphere while you wolf down your burger.
I highly reccomend this place. (Obviously)
Rosa Salvatierra
Definitely a good place for a burger. Very large portions and the last fries are enough for 2 and then some. Gotta try the shakes next time
G
Tasty affordable option in Cap/First Hill. The burgers run from about $5-7, though they do not include sides. (Fries can be had for $2.5 with a burger; onion rings are also available.) One of the better burgers in Seattle, made to order while you sip one of the assortment of classic sodas available in bottle.
Or you could opt for a Molly Moon's shake, which will run you a little less than getting it directly from the source.
Note that the place is a little small, so you may have to wait for a table, or snag your order to go. There is some more seating upstairs, but it can be fairly warm and... beefy, as it catches the rising heat from the grill, directly beneath the balcony.
Chris Rehm
Just discovered this Seattle gem. These are the best burgers I have ever eaten in the city. Coupled with a very courteous staff; this is a go-to place for anyone hungry for a great burger.
Jennifer Bowker
Cheap eats I can feel good about eating - Painted Hills beef, and when you go to throw away your stuff after eating there's no garbage can! All compostable or recycled. Very cool. The burgers were awesome, had the big Woody, can't wait to try the fried chicken sandwich. Also had cheese fries which were absolutely sinfully delicious. And a great chocolate shake. Fries were oversalted but we still ate every last one. Staff was super friendly. We will be back, especially when they get beer!
Curtis Walton
They have great burgers, but the service is pretty bad. Everytime I've been in the last few months it's taken 10+ min before they took my order. Most times this is because they're busy and they stop taking orders so the kitchen can catch up.
John R
Great little burger joint. Delicious patties, great burger buns, fresh vegetables, nice variety of bottled sodas and great heapings of fries. Can get busy, but service is fast and there is additonal seating upstairs.
Zach Clenney
Absolutely my favorite burger place in greater Seattle. The Fig and the Pig burger may be the best burger I've ever had. And their queso will shock you with how good it is.
Stacy Muenchow
Coming from a small town in MN i thought this was an excellent burger joint with great customer service! My burger was amazing with a nicely toasted bun and the fries were amazing, way more than a person could eat but they were tasty!!
J Chung
obnoxiously good queso & fries, amazing staff!
Pegah Alipoormolabashi
If you come from California and miss in n out, this place is the closest ever. It also has very nice and crunchy onion rings.
Christopher Dempewolf
A great burger spot on the edge of capitol hill. Their burger selection is eclectic without being overwhelming, and their specials are often hard to pass up. Try their fried chicken or veggie patties too!
Andrew Tayler
I asked for the plant based impossible burger because I don't eat meat and asked for no cheese and mayo and they served me a meat burger. I felt poisoned and violated. They fixed the order but I had already eaten some of it. I was tempted to make myself throw it up but was there with coworkers trying to remain calm. I feel at fault and have to be that jerk I guess and triple check what I order and check with the cook that my order is what I ordered.
Jessica Hovater
Best "fast" burger in cap hill/downtown. The cooks are hilarious and on their food game, I've never left disappointed. Oh, and they have beer n wine- what more do you need? Eat the Pendleton
Zachary Schefman
This place makes a really good burger.
I normally like to explore new cities for new spots and do my own research, but I passed through Seattle for a period of just 4 days and ate here twice. Enough said.
Rana Lutey
When you need a big, juicy, messy and tasty burger--this is the spot. Excellent burgers and fries. It gets busy late night because of the club next door so get there early or be prepared to wait a bit.
Kellan Begay
One of the most amazing burger joints ive ever been to! The trotter is divine but the fig one is mind blowing!
Gordon “Gordo” F
Flew into Seattle from Denver and this was the first place I stopped at. Tried the NewMexican burger with green chili's and queso, it was delicious. Fries were fresh and tasty. It was Friday night so the line was long, but we didn't wait too long.
Sean Cohen
Came during Burger month - this place always has the most unique and exciting burgers. Milkshakes using full tilt ice cream, and local beer on tap....what more could you ask for?
Grace B
Affordable burgers and sides, perfect onion rings and a small selection of beer/wine. Order and wait for your number to be called, limited seating, no frills but delicious.
Monica Schippers
No frills burger joint. Fast, Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Great eats! Parking is a challenge! Open until 3:00am on the weekends! What more could you ask for!
Lauren Vaterlaus
The protein burger in a lettuce wrap was so good! I also laughed when they handed me a free workout card for a nearby gym when I ordered it.
Counter service, delicious little burger spot.
Mike Snow
I always look for goo dburger places when I travel, and Lil Woody's was a great find. A garage band sort of atomsphere, tightly packed with teh grill & seating close together. They had some great tunes playing & I sat at the window and watched the people.
Hamburgers was excellent. Good fresh ground beef, cooked but not to the point of no flavor. Fresh veggies & a tasty bun. The Special sauce is what made the meal. I normally don't go in for that, but based on previous reviews I gace it a try. It added a smoking flavor that really worked with the ground beef. Fries were hot & greasy, an very tasty.
I want to go back for a late night meal, I imagine the crowd will be very entertaining.
Give it a try the next time you hit Seatle
Michael McElroy
Great unique burger joint with local charm. Quality ingredients, and excellent fries. We loved the loft overlooking the entry.
Florence “FLOMO” Moss
My favorite burger spot in the PNW! I love that they offer high quality milkshakes, and have a menu item that has fries with a little shake 😋 …
Adrienne B
It's like a better version of In and Out Burger. The burger was good and not too greasy. The milkshake and fries were awesome!
Jessica Hayes
Great burgers that had a nice char on them. These guys were able to crank them out fast when swamped with a huge crowd from PAX West. Fries were perfect! Highly recommend this place
Delta Varela-Glos
As a New Mexican I've gotta recommend the Hatch chile burger! Price to quality ratio is good, really enjoyed Li'l Woody's. Coming back for sure!
Amber Medico
The Fig and the Pig burger is so good! I also love the chicken sandwich and fries with fry sauce. Their special burgers make things fun too.
Andrew Kim
great burgers.
Adriane Armbruster
Easily the best Burger in Capitol Hill, yup better than 8oz. This is what hamburgers are supposed to taste like...their fries and onion rings are also terrific.
Sam Hall
Amazing burgers! The veggie burger was great. The price is the same as if you went to any fast food place!
angelo flores
Queso fries were good, regular Fry's had too much salt. Burger was pretty dang good, with melted cheese. Would return.
Fernando Lopez
Went in to try the little crunch wrap and it didn't disappoint!! Queso fries are also a can't miss!
Victor santamaria
Soooooo goooooood hamburger 🍔 I love ❤️
Janine Rocio
It is simple, which makes it good but food tasted really oily and greasy. The fact that you see them cook makes it more reliable! If you have I strong liver I recommend it.
Samantha Murphy
Love their burgers! Always something interesting on the menu- I most recently had a big jam and Bleu cheese burger with caramelized onions. Delicious!
Ronald Buie
Their vegetarian burger is amazingly meat-like. Generally well crafted burger all around, but more like high end fast food burger at steakhouse burger prices.
Clayton Reynolds
Burgers, were great, but I would not pay $11.01, with tax included in the price, just to customize my own. Cheaper, just to have gotten what was all topping included on the Burger menu.
Elliott Spencer
Friendly vibe, speedy, unpretentious but seriously top notch on quality & taste. If you could only have one burger while visiting Seattle you'd definitely find Lil Woodys at the top of the list.
Priscilla Skylar Lee (PSL)
Great burgers, veggie options, and loving the option for crack (fries with a side of shake). When I think of food in Seattle, this is one of the places I go to and trust. It's a bit on the greasy side but... Hey, it's a burger place. Whatcha gunna do.
Jeffrey Lee
Small little burger joint that slaps together a damn good burger and fries.
Kells Leggese
Burger and shake were amazing but fries were soggy... it tasted like someone microwaved old fries and gave it to us.
Antonio Vargas
Had the Big Woody, a chocolate shake, and a basket of fries; The food was amazing and the atmosphere and smell of the restaurant was awesome. Definitely one of the best burger places in Seattle.
Xander
3 stars for cheerwine. However I felt the food was either rushed or just not very good. I had the pride burger and spent the rest of the night puking. It was very pretty though.
Beau B.
A solid choice for good burgers. A little pricey, but their burgers are one of a kind. The daily special always keeps it interesting.
levi davis
We had it delivered so my opinion is obviously not going to be the same as it would dining in. I’ll say this- for being delivered, it was pretty flippin delicious. If burgers are your thing this is a great spot!
Sowmya A Reddy
Burgers are decent. Fries can be oily sometimes. I go here for lunch sometimes and find this place better than the options around SLU.
Richard Flowers Jr.
My first time going. Nice sized burgers, pretty fast service and great taste! I'll be back.
Kevin Lam
I was going to give it a 4 Star cause I thought the cashier was killin my vibe. But whatevs, the burgers were good. I got the 1/3 lb woody and my wife got the lil woody and a basket of fries with the mint shake and strawberry shake. Bought a ranch for .55 cents and it either has extra salt or msg in it cause it was tastier than usual.
Gabriel Hartman
The burger was alright. The people working there acted like we were bothering them.
don dunlap
My wife and I ordered Big Woody burgers, a basket of fries and 2 strawberry shakes. I thought the burger was ok. My wife was not impressed with her burger. We both liked the shoestring fries. The strawberry shakes were ok.
Jack T. Ryan
A $5 cheeseburger in Seattle, made of pure, organic, grass-fed beef? That's right! And this is the place. Li'l Woody's is mostly just a hole in the wall with limited seating but it has a decidedly downbeat vibe that is irresistable. If you like your fries like McDonald's, go there instead, because at Li'l Woody's--for $3--you'll get a basketfull of thin-cut, freshly fried and greasy potato fries. Maybe not too healthy but if you just decide you're going to indulge yourself you'll have no trouble enjoying the whole platefull. A totally unique place; so glad I found it on my visit to Seattle.
Marie Acob
Pretty good place to check out, the house special burger was very good, I did not like their fries much though.
Jason Ward
Came from Vancouver to pick up a friend, googled good hamburger places and was not disappointed at all. Good prices great burgers and fries would definitely recommend to anyone looking for exactly that, great burger good prices.
P M
If you're up for a grease bomb burger then this is your place. Food was tasty, but was so greasy it sat like a brick on my stomach all day long. I think next time I'll ask them to drain some off beforehand.
Aaron Monson
We just moved from New York and have been desperately missing Shake shack burgers. Li'l woody's is our new love. They burgers are seasoned well and they get all the basics right. Go for the New Mexican. The poblano pepper belongs on a burger.
Bernie Macias
Queso and fries are awesome. The fig burger is delicious and still my favorite.
Keith Trnka
Great dive burger joint but way better quality. Onion rings are great, burgers are great, fries are fries, beers seem to skew toward IPA.
Nathan Franke
One of my favorite burger joints in Seattle. The fries are hit or miss, but the burgers have strength and are always perfectly cooked.
Mark O'Deady
This is one of those funky, "Only in Seattle" landmarks like the Fremont Troll or Bubble Gum Wall that nobody (tourist or local) should miss. This is NOT Dicks!
Li'l Woody's features hand-formed, in-house burgers made from organic, grass-fed beef from Painted Hills and Tillamook cheese. Fries are handcut and their shakes are crafted from Full Tilt handmade ice cream!
Li'l Woody's beverages include a wide variety of bottled or fountain sodas; a decent selection of canned and a couple of draft beer options; and their root beer float is made with your choice of root beer with a generous school of handmade ice cream.
While I didn't try it, regulars swear by a side dish listed on the menu as "Crack" -- handcut fries with a bit of shake to dip it in!
I'm a carnivore that appreciates the extra care put into every Li'l Woody's burger. (Don't tell anyone), but the Veggie Veggie my companion enjoyed -- a housemade black bean burger, diced pickles, chopped onions, tomato slices, lettuce and ketchup (cheese optional (and only $1 extra) -- looked really scrumptious.
Blake Beaupain
Not bad but not great either. Went in excited from all the good reviews and left a little underwhelmed. Most other burger joints nearby are much better.
Shannon Ruff
Had The Trotter, it was one of the best flavor balanced burgers. Little sweet, little tangy. And the meat itself was cooked to perfection.
Morgan E
Always amazed by the food. The fries are to die for, I love the selection of rootbeer for the floats, the shakes are killer, and their burgers always mess me up emotionally. Almost cry worthy
Kayla Myrhow
Superb burgers, excellent local ice cream used for their shakes, and their fries even taste good reheated. Don’t skip on a Woody’s burger.
Stephen Phelps
Imagine a diner that is about American and classic as you could ever dream oldstyle burgers and oldstyle fries a perfect slice of life from the past. Just for an added little touch their name is comically and immaturely suggestive!
Ryan M
It's a fast, tasty, and well priced burger joint with a decent selection of beers.
The have a monthly rotating specialty burger which is always intriguing!
Daniel Blanchard
Good burger (had the Mexican burger) but staff seemed kinda put out, but no actual service issues though. Fries are yummy.
Wagner Leão Costa Filho
Great burguer matches perfectly the IPA.
Chandana
Loved this little place. The food is great. Open kitchen and you can see how your burger's made. One of the few places open after midnight.
Matt Hutchinson
Awesome burgers...try "the Trotter" Fries are a little soft/greasy for me, but if you like Dick's-style fries, you're gonna be just fine
Thomas Johnson
Food was great, but the guy taking orders/payment was clearly in a bad mood. I apparently asked a couple questions that were annoying to him, as he was very short with me and condescending. I know service industry can be difficult, but I was very friendly, didn't order anything hard to make or a large order, it wasn't crowded at the time, etc. Despite all of this, I left a $5.00 tip on a to-go order. While I waited, I also saw him shout at a guy who accidentally picked up someone else's milkshake. He literally called him out in front of everyone as if he were a thief and embarrassed the guy. Anyhow, this is not typical of my experiences there, but it should be brought to managements attention. This also happened on a week night, so it wasn't a crazy night from Baltic either.
Dakota Marquez
Burgers are amazing. Fries are on the greasy side but nothing wrong. Absolutely delicious with awesome atmosphere.
mike lafferty
1st try last night, Did the lil' woody with cheese fries. Loved it ! The quality of the burger and perfect seasoning of the cheese sauce had me in la la land ! I plan to be a regular
Ben Wada
One of the best burgers I've ever had if not the best (big woody) with perfect thin natural cut french fries and delicious shakes.
James McClane
Food was good a little high on some of the prices maybe. A small milkshake was $6. Good customer service. Will probably return. Not a great spot for families as seating is somewhat limited.
Life of Ingrid
Everything about this place is mouth watering!! The fries & bread & meat are soo delicious. It is a little pricey but it’s worth it. Awesome student discount
Scott Koller
Had the fog and pig with a side of crack. Fries were soggy but really good. The shake was a bit melted but still tasty. Would eat there again.
JL Love
Popular burger joint!
They have crack fries! Which is fries with ice cream! You can also get a burger in a layered lettuce wrap instead of carbun!
Hector Daniel Mujica
Very tasty food. Typical burgers and fries place. Great shakes. Not a huge fan of the fries but good onion rings.
Landry Russom
Delicious and inexpensive with great atmosphere. Visiting Seattle or native, it's a must visit cozy burger joint!
roy evans ii
That crucial first bite, when you worry which piece of the puzzle will overwhelm your senses, washes your worries away as the Big Woody's strategically-crafted symphony of supporting condiments fills your senses with joy. Nothing overdone, everything perfectly done, each piece holding it's own while magnifying the neighbors. Googled hamburger down by the water and definitely worth the walk up the hill.
Leithen Crider
Really good burgers and fries but a touch greasy and overpriced. Great atmosphere in the restaurant just a little noisy when I visited. Definitely would go again.
jdaster64
Everything I had (burger, shoestring fries, shake) was excellent, and the staff was friendly! Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Abraham
Burgers are pretty good, however French fires could improve a lot as they are too oily.
Five stars if they would offer tater tots.
Joe DeKock
I had a great experience and great burger at Lil" Woodys. It was good beef with the right amount of whatever spices hey put in the meat. It was greasy, but not too greasy which is indicative of low quality ground beef. (Im guessing it was a 85/15). I had the Pig burger with bacon & blue cheese and it had some sort of BBQ sauce on it but it was not much... just the right amount of everything. The joint was small and you can see the entire kitchen where they are grilling the burger. The whole place smells like cooking burgers as a result which makes it all the better! Good and fast service during a busy time of day, and just an all around phenomenal burger!
Thomas ROUBY
Great place for great burgers. Fries are good and homemade but sadly we got a basket of really salty ones.
Abby H.
MY FAV BURGER PLACE. Melt in your mouth burgers that are just the right size and the best milkshakes in cap hill. AND they have free burgers like twice a year.
Jemma Nelson
Great burgers served fast, decent fries. The upstairs seating gets real warm during the summer, so get a milkshake to cool off.
shaun smiley
Their burgers are quite good. Their milk shakes a thick and real!!! But their fries... These things ate amazing.
Vickie K
I like they offer impossible patty but their fries always seem nearly burned and a bit greasy.
Who Me
Get your burger fix here! I think the best late-night Seattle burger option next to Dick's. Where Lil Woodys separates themselves is with their burger menu! Not your average burger joint...these burgers are crafted, not made!
Jiaren Li
Small cozy place to visit that has fair amount of burger options. Great price point for quality of burger overall and good for a quick bite.
Daniel Miller
Good burgers at great prices. The location is cramped and the music playing was overbearingly loud, but the food still made it worth enduring.
Jacob Braghini
Loved it. Got the Big Woody, it was perfect. Fries were great. Full Tilt milkshake went fast. Overall a winner. Won't miss.
James Conway
Great place! Delicious burgers, amazing Molly Moon's milkshakes and most importantly affordable. Definitely hit this up if you're on the hill!
Das Güs
Thick and dirty ghetto beats and breakfast "burgers" served early enough to call your hangover feast breakfast, cept there's no coffee so an IPA will have to suffice... quick, friendly, good to go 👍 …
Todd Jordan
One of my favorite burgers ever. Great, fresh, queso fries are great
Andrei Cojuhar
Sub pop shake is a must try- caramel , crushed coffee beans. The fig and the pig is great.
Modern burger place with a few tabs and shakes
Chloé Rae Combs
Overall a good experience. Just a bit pricey once you add sides. They do have a $5 burger though if that fulfills your needs. I'm satis-fried. Lol.
TN Trang
Burgers here are awesome, but come in if you can during burger month. The rotating burgers are definitely something worth checking out.
Anna Fung
They have full tilt milkshakes! Excellent fries, though the cheese was a teensy bit runny. Made it EXCELLENT for hamburger-dipping, though.
Mike Anderson
I ONLY give 4 stars. because this is Card only business
David Rice
If you WANT a burger THIS is the establishment you're LOOKING for let me tell you.. great burgers great fries great shakes great customer service great atmosphere I would eat HERE everyday if I could lol enjoy
Michael Smith
Great Burgers, excellent selection of options , not a fan of the fries, they were soft and a little soggy, I mean if that's your thing, go for it, otherwise you've been warned.
Dan D
While my experience fell short of the rave reviews others had, it nevertheless is simply a good place to go for a great burger.
Christopher Munoz
Solid house made veggie burger. Fries, are okay, but nobody in Seattle seems to get fries right so I'll give them full stars.
Eric Ringger
Good burgers, fries, and, shakes. Cold, uncomfortable dining space in need of some TLC.
Caleb Brazier
Get the chicken sandwich and add an egg on it. The burgers here are meh tbh but the chicken sandwich is why i rated 5 stars. If you're getting a burger id rank this a 2 or 3 star.
