Reviews of King Street Bar & Oven
James Bouchard
It's so nice to be able to walk 1 block from Seattle's King St train station, and get hot pizza while we wait for our train! The price was great too! The pizza was very Seattle! And very good!
Paul Shaw
Really enjoyed this bar. Mixing with the Seahawks fans (as a Falcons fan) was made welcome. Plenty of screens for sports too. The loaded nachos are a winner
Jason Lee
Very cool local bar. We were probably the only non-regulars there on a Tuesday evening, but it still felt welcoming.
Dylan LeBlanc
Great dive bar atmosphere, the music seems to be played by the bartenders. Cheap fried bar food, good place to stop in after work
Dustin Holmes
I walked here from the Amtrak Station for lunch. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, lots of Seattle Seahawks memorabilia.
Simon Tan
Really good sliders, and beer of course. Great place for a casual event.
Will Kitchen
Great sports bar right outside of lumen field. Fresh pizza from the stone oven, great beer selection. One of our favorite hangouts when in town.
Narong Saraphon
One of those places that says "you belong here" as soon as you walk through the door. Pizza was fresh and tasty. Beers on tap, pet friendly, Bruno the bar tender is on top of things, what more can you ask for.
jose ruiz
Love this place for pre match drinks and food. Service can be slow but the atmosphere is great. Stop by before you hit the pitch.. and remember you can always get your food to go and take with into the stadium.
Sita Sita
Excellent local bar with a plethora of drink options and oven baked pizza.
Reid D
Great local hangout after a Seahawks home game. Check out the Blue Thunder Margaritas!
Mike Anderson
This Bar near the Stadiums It as great food. A must try on a Game day
Derek Cook
My favorite bar before or after Mariners games.
Feels like old school Seattle to me. Love it.
Sarah Cahan
Super busy which was expected. I ordered a couple of drinks and some food at the bar, the bartender didn't say a word, but just walked away. A couple minutes later another bartender asked if I had been helped, I said yes so he went to help other customers. Then I waited a few more minutes before the first bartender came back and asked what I would like, I ordered the same thing and he realized I was the same person, and said he told the other bartender to help me, he talked to the other bartender who said I had told him I had already been helped, the bartender didn't say anything to me or the other bartender before he walked away. I'm not sure where the disconnect was. I got my drinks and I let said bartender know where I was sitting and clarified what food I wanted. After about an hour, I asked a server if she could check since I didn't want to stand in line for however long to find out. Happily she came with our order which was good. Cashing out also took time. All in all, I get how understaffed they are and it was busy before game time, but not a fan of someone taking my order, then just walking away without a word
Anita Hewitt
Love going here before a Seahawk game! Lots of Seahawk fans and is in close walking distance to CenturyLink
Rip Stinger
This is a local bar, it's been here forever. Locals don't need a review to come here. If you're visiting and you're in the area it's worth a visit, not for the food or a specific drink but to sit in a proper seattle bar.
Brooke
Great bartenders, cooks, all the staff is the best. Super friendly and inviting. Happy hour deals are unbeatable. Cheap beers and their BURGER! Food is awesome! Great Italian plus bar food. Great space to watch games, even when the games are next door. Hawks, Mariners... Awesome location!
Tom Warr
What a great place to catch a beer and have an amazing calzone while waiting for the evening train to come in. Staff was very friendly, even during these troubling times.
Ryan Bishop
Came in with the kids before a Mariners game. Giant portions, great food, and I appreciate the laid back atmosphere. Definitely would come back next time we’re in Seattle.
Kurt Wiesenbach
Always a great time here, pizza and calzone, plus friendly staff.
Philip Waldenberg
What an awesome spot! Great for drinks after work or a quick bite for lunch! I had one of their calzones and it was fantastic! I'de recommend this place to anyone! Great location in terms of proximity to the stadiums. Great ambience and decor. Loved the old wood closets with glass windows for the bar. You can tell the place has been around for a while! I'll be back for more pizza!
Monique Spivey
Very easy pla e together to and staff was very helpful and polite
Katrina Scarlett
We had a larger order for an outside event and everything was great. The people were SO nice. One of the pizzas ended up being a little smaller than they expected, which would not have been a problem, but they went ahead and threw in an extra small pizza on the house. Great service, great food and really good prices. Definitely recommend!
William J Byce
Love this place!!! Fantastic food with Great service. The pizzas & calzones are incredible, but my favorite is still Merle’s Meat Loaf sandwich. It’s one of my “must stop to get some comfort food” places. Thank You King Street Bar & Oven! You never fail to satisfy
Terrence Adams
Great dive bar close to the stadiums. Always busy on game day, decent food. Stiff drinks, cheap eats, and nothing unique about it... except it's been around for a while, and doesn't try to be something it's not. If you're going to a game , swing in...it's a great place to pre-funk.
Sam Schmidt
Sort of grungy little bar that's great for beer and fun little cocktails. They've always got sports on and it's a good place to hang out after Sounders games. Try the nachos-they have an extensive food menu.
Shaun
Great food, Great beer friendly service I highly recommend having the King Street calzone, everything is made from scratch. So it's the perfect place for lunch or dinner before the game etc.. eat local support your small business.
Lucky V Smith
2nd time there dive sports bar atmosphere has a great college feel. Atmosphere is lively for shaking off a day or a week at work. Food price isn't unreasonable but it hits sticking to your ribs just right.
Cassandra Schwartz
An pretentious bar within Pioneer Square? Yes, they still exist.
If you're heading to a match, game or event at the arena--stop here before. The menu is varied, affordable and the service is great.
At first glance it might appear less than desirable, but go in anyway. Inside you'll find clean, fairly well-lit bar with friendly service.
If it's not a game day--go for the happy hour. Their happy hour menu is full of great choices.
Scott N
Service was great and food was good. Would be a nice spot to go before a game or for HH.
The bar earned 3 stars due to the extra fees added on the bill. Charging for a togo box ($0.35) and adding a credit card fee (3.75%) leave bad last impression. I would rather the price on the menu reflect the price.
To MGMT, some customers just want a simple experience. I would compare your bar to flying with Spirit airlines. It takes effort to figure out the real cost and you end up going with a competitor to avoid the hassle.
Anthony Vega
This place is great!!! Super friendly staff as always! It'd had been a few years, but was greeted by the owner like it was yesterday! Can't wait to visit again!
Jason King
Had the best service and drinks are well priced will definitely come back
Dan Kochenderfer
Took the kids there for dinner since it's just down the way from our hotel, and we had their pizza. It was absolutely fantastic. Cozy and casual atmosphere, great service.
Gennifer Bridget Ti'ana Maher
Went there last week, I had a calzone that was over cooked and filings weren't held together by the dough...was very sloppy. A friend had a burger and fries, but the fries were way overcooked to the point of crunchiness. Probably won't be returning.
Gary Samson
Used to be a great dive'ish bar because they served the best wood fired pizzas in town. They converted the fireplace into a conventional oven and now it's just a boring pizza in a dive'ish bar.
Too bad. After years of going there, I don't care anymore but King Street Bar will probably plug along anyway because it is a good location near the stadiums. At the least they will get The Lodges over flow crowd.
Jonathan “Foxius” Slater
The pizzas and calzones are absolutely the best and most amazing I've ever tasted. Takes about 15 mins for them to make on average. Really great bunch of guys and really sexy gals there.
David Kerr
Bar close to the stadium in pioneer square. Large menu for a bar with pizza, calzone, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and much more. They make practically all their food from scratch. Ample portions of food make this place a good value as well.
David Myers
It has been awhile since I gave this place a shot for lunch and this time they were on point. The food was good and the service matched. Going back for round 2 next week👍 …
Matthew Taufa'asau
What a fun place to visit before a game, or for happy hour after work. A fun staff, good beer selection, and cheap bites make this a favorite launching pad. Try the cordon bleu bites for HH.
David Worthen
I like this place because they survived when FX Mccrory's couldn't. And, lots of Sounder's fans. Down to earth servers that want to keep you happy every day. Can't give it 5 stars but I thought about it.
Alicia Moffat
Reliable bar food. Funniest thing about this joint: no fryer. They make everything in their big pizza ovens. Great hideaway option for lunch without interruption.
ali eltareb
Food was mediocre. Order was a little messed. Service was not bad.
Josiah Colborn
Service is slow but friendly, menu is diverse and tasty. Dark, chill atmosphere. Great place to go if you want to have long relaxed conversation.
Jason Brandenburg
Derek provided first class service for me and my mates. The cook Quincy did a great job with the calzone. Will definitely be coming back.
Mike Dulin
Happy hour here is really good! Fun staff and generally friendly environment. Too packed on game days, but that's to be expected.
Frankie Jones Robinson
I came in from bar crawling around the area and was met with very friendly staff, great atmosphere and beautiful decor
Robert Larkin
surprisingly good food, particularly pizzas and calzones from the wood-fired oven. watch for daily lunch specials, such as monday's bar pies, which are a great value. very crowded on game days.
Tabetha Kilbreath
What a great place. Passed by and figured we would check it out before a show at Wamu. Great Happy hour menu and food. Great place will be back for sure!
Lauren Vaterlaus
The music was way too loud which would be fine if the speakers weren't horrible. But the service was good and the happy hour prices were nice.
Anne M Williams
This truly IS my CHEERS for the past 14 years! Great owners, staff, food and drinks! Perfect place to watch our Seahawks! #12
Kerry Filkins
From the street I really didn't know what to expect, but once we got inside I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely an older building but had a very cool vibe, and the food was awesome!
Jonathan Cooper
Pizza was great, atmosphere was a little loud with the music but still in the acceptable range for a sports bar a few blocks from the stadium.
Edwin Terry
First time here. Not far from Seattle Amtrak Union Station. There is nothing inside Union Station to eat and this place isn’t far.
Nicole Baade
It's a good place for pre or post-game cocktails. The food is much better than you'd expect, and you definitely get your monies worth in alcohol.
Ryan D
This place is awesome. Love the staff and the happy hour. Perfect place to hang out before getting on the Sounder Train
amy L
Great drinks, food was good as well as the service.
Dwayne Jackson

Neil Fujii
It is what it is. A neighborhood dive bar with solid food in the city. You come here because you know what you will get, and that's a good thing.
Mark Keller
Probably the best happy hour food + drink value in the area. Greasy, low-key.
Ronda Knebel

Martha Lehnen
Love the game day atmosphere! The women's restroom is horrible though.
Dustin West
Good food and beer prices for downtown Seattle during sports games
Brian
Close to century link and safeco. Service is unattentive most of the time. Place does get crazy busy and packed on match days.
Matthew Bexell
Not to"divey" but not pretentious either, didn't get a chance to have a pizza, but their service was responsive and courteous.
Alan David Cital
Service was great and PIzza was Ok. It was also a quick service so we liked that.
David Dawes
Lower end bar for the area, reasonable tap selection and real pizza oven too.
Justin McCoy
It's okay, a little pricey for the pizza boats. I appreciate the keto options.
Carly McCall
This is a fun, inviting place to go. It is a little pricey for my liking. Prices, however, are comparable for the area.
