Reviews of Humble Pie
Vanessa A
If you're looking for a casual pizza and beer, then this is the place to go. Humble Pie makes pizza with a crispy crust that's on the thinner side and a fun variety of toppings. I love their outdoor seating area where you can have a good meal and watch the live chickens in their coop. I've consistently had a great experience here and the pizzas come out quickly.
Easy to park with lots of street parking available in this area.

Nice place with a very friendly staff. I ordered a roasted garlic pizza with chicken and it was quite good. The crust was good and well baked and tasted pretty well. The toppings were pretty good as well. I liked their outdoor seating and it looked pretty with parking available. There were quite a few options so will definitely try out again and maybe dine in next time.

Perfect place for a beer and delicious pizza. Pizzas are made from scratch and wood fire cooked. Decent variety of both veg and meat pizzas, and it's great that they allow dogs 🙂 pizzas are large, cut into big slices. Bases are nice and thin, not too bready like most other places.

Since most of the Happy Hour menu photos seem to show $7-8 pizza and $4 pints, I’m sharing an update. The pizza is now $12 and pints are $5. The pizza is still delicious, local craft beer on tap, and the service is good. I used to live within walking distance. I now live in Renton but still make the drive for Humble Pie!

Maybe around a 30-minute wait but it was worth it! Yummy pizza with a crust that’s not too thick and not too thin. 👍 we got the lunch special which is worth it. Updated menu in photos. Menu on the website is outdated.

One of the best pizzas I've had if you're into a good wood fire roasted thin base pizza with a perfect ratio of ingredients, the balance of sauce, cheese, base and toppings was great and the ingredients just tasted so fresh.

Very cute pizza shop! We ordered half margarita & half whole hog - both were amazing! I personally really like thinner crust pizzas, and I like how they were not too sauce heavy either.
Gerrit Maritz
Great local pizza joint! They make their own dough fresh and source ingredients locally. Great beer and wine options available as well.
Zach Roberts
Stumbled on this place for a quick bite to eat on a weekday evening. Had a simple margherita pizza and a beer off the tap.
Pizza was quick to come out and quite delicious for it's simplicity! They say it feeds 2 but if you're hungry it can feed 1 quite well. Limited "indoor" seating but the outdoor seating is large and cozy with the heaters.
Paid $20 for the pizza and beer during happy hour. Prices are a little higher than the photos show, probably due to covid. I didn't think it was unreasonable though, especially being so close to downtown.
Definitely want to come back and try some of their other pizzas!

My husband and I love Humble Pie - wholesome delicious pizzas and salads, a wonderful rustic outdoor environment to gather in - great for eating alone, in groups, with kids and pets, or just to do a take out order. The staff are so friendly and kind. We always find excuses to come here.
Dan H
Super fresh pizza. Staff was friendly and on point. Really loved the thin crust and the Beecher's cheese on the pizza. Definitely gotta head back and try some more!
Anna Zhou
The pies here are one of the best I’ve had in the Seattle. The crust is a nice sourdough, and it’s pretty thin and chewy. The sauce and topping ratio is also excellent. The seating area is all outdoors, so in the colder months, it’s a little chilly eating here

One of my friends wanted to show me this restaurant, and it was such a unique and cool experience. It’s built into what looks like a beer garden with a small shed for the cooks. It has that Instagram-friendly, hipster aesthetic that matches exactly what you imagine when you see it online. Lots of young adults are sitting at outdoor tables, and on a warm summer afternoon or evening would hit the spot. The shed where the staff are located and cooks is neat because you can see the pizza being made. The pizza options were all creative and well made. Even a cheese pizza here would be tiers above the quality of regular cheese pizza anywhere else. I did take out and honestly, I wish I stayed to enjoy the environment created here.
Nate S
Pizzas are built on dough, and this dough left me wanting a lot more. It seemed like there was no gluten development. It's the kind of pizza where you fold it in half and it cracks at the bottom instead of bending. The bottom of the pie was also covered in much more flour than was necessary, making the pie even drier. Aside from the sad dough, the tomato sauce, toppings, and cheese were great. The environment/ambiance of this place are awesome. It's just the dough is bad, and that's sad.
Zoshua Colah
We had a great vegetarian pizza. The sauce and cheese are definitely different from your regular pizzerias. I'd come here again. I do wish their menu had a few other options. Definitely can do with adding mocktails to their menu such as Virgin Mojito. BE SURE to wear a jacket as it's outdoor seating.
Daniel Revier
My new favorite pizza place in Seattle. I love Neapolitan style and the modest prices are welcome in this city dominated by a certain 'P' pizza place.
Atmosphere and pizza are top notch. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
Justin Anderson
Great NYC style pizza in the PNW. Had to order take out during COVID times, so the pizza was not as hot and crispy as I would have liked. A little too much “flop” for my liking, but overall pretty darn good. The best part about these pizzas is their choice in toppings. I didn’t love the Margherita with fresh mozzarella because the cheese cooled and hardened by the time it got to us. I did absolutely love the sweet and savory combo of apples, cheese, and bacon though. The whole hog is a meat lover’s dream. Great pizza, appropriate pricing, would definitely return for more.
Jasmine T (Jasmine)
I love this place! Pricey pizzas but pretty worth it. They have lots fresh ingredients and you can get beer by the pitcher.
Andrew Lee
I have wanted to go to Humble Pie for quite some time now and made the time to go. I ordered a couple sausage pizzas with mama’s lil peppers and really enjoyed them. The crust had a good flavor and a very nice char on the bottom. The sausage and the peppers were excellent as well on the pizzas. I’m glad I stopped on by and hope to return. Definitely recommended for a great pizza especially in the area.

This review is for Humble Pie Pizza on Rainier Avenue South. Not a bad pizza place, pizzas are of good quality, but just not to my particular liking, The quality of the food and all the people that work there and everything is just fine. They also have salad and they locally source ingredients and they have a happy hour as well. Vegan options too. There's also a nice outdoor seating area as well with umbrellas. This is a nice place and you'll probably like it if you're looking for pizza that's a little different from everywhere else
MM
Humble Pie has some of the best pizza pies in the city. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful ingredient combos, and they make their own dough. They have a decent vegetarian menu and if you need meats, they got only good stuff. They make their pies in the back in a brick oven, and you can watch them make it through the window.
The venue is great, rain or shine, winter or summer. They have heaters in the enclosed areas that keep you warm if you choose to eat in and catch up with friends, or you can sit outside out front where there is more room. Sometimes they will have live music and bands playing for cheap and good entertainment. They also have happy hours (cheap margherita pizzas and cheap quality beer) and also do discounted wines on Wednesdays. This is a good option if you're feeling adventurous, or if you want something safe. A good place if you want to meet your friends for beers and slices or if you just want to read a book and eat a personal sized pizza.
This definitely should be on any pizza lovers list to check out while visiting Seattle.
Jay Reyes
Nice warm interior seating area. Cool outdoor patio area. also cool idea to be able to see them when they are preparing your pizza. Love the idea that they serve “Mexican Coke” Staff was extremely friendly to me and my family who were first timers! The Pizza itself left a little to be desired.. cooked perfectly but a bit light on the toppings!
Sodelba Amador
The pizza was pretty good. But their wine was terrible! They said it was a cabernet but it was not, it was a light, almost like a sparkling wine and seemingly poured out of a box. No shade to box wine! But it was not a good one and pretty sure it was not cab!
Minh Nguyen
Really good happy hour prices. I love the people that work there. They're kind, polite, and professional.
The Establishment itself is clean, weld Accord, and if you like organic hipster stuff this is the place to be. There's not really much going on in the surrounding neighborhood but I'm a tourist in Seattle so that might not be completely accurate.
Nikita R.
A fantastic place, true hidden gem! I had been driving past it for literally 3 years twice a day and never saw it until one day I learned about it from a flyer. What a find! Ordered two pizzas for a dinner with friends and everyone (myself included) liked it so much. I'll definitely be coming back.
They have a really good summer patio, can't wait for the weather to get better.
Beth Anderson
Such a great restaurant, and perfect for COVID times. Most of their space is outdoors, but the important thing is that their pizza is to die for. Plastic sheets up between picnic tables in an outdoor space with chickens; and like I said, amazing pizza. Highly recommend the prosciutto, arugula and egg made with their delicious tomato sauce, and eggs from those cute chickens. Couldn't ask for a better pizza!
Johnny Kehr
Ridiculously good. My wife and I went back 3 times in one week even though it was outdoor seating only in *January*. That’s how desperate we were to taste their pizza again.
Rex Korrell
Came here for the first time and the ingredients were fresh and the beer was good. The price was a little higher than expected for what you get but the live chickens kept our kids entertained so that was a plus.
Emily Raulston
This is the best pizza in Seattle, and humble indeed. Such an unassuming storefront, with no sign in sight. I came here quite often when I lived here a few years ago and was absolutely delighted to bring my boyfriend and parents. They were just as happy with the pizza. My boyfriend even ordered another after we had split the first. Hope I can keep coming back each time I visit!
Mike Jeffery
Quality fresh ingredients. This is an awesome pizza. Got the Whole Hog and Apple Bacon and they did not disappoint. Lots of outside seating. Definitely hit this place up.
matthew wood
Some of the best pizza in Seattle. Focused on local and sustainably sourced ingredients. Fantastic service. Great beer and wine selection. I drive over from Spokane to enjoy this pizza. Get the whole hog with an egg added on top!!
Sean Gordon
Solid pizza spot off of Rainier Ave!
Dine in or take it to go! I bet this is a fun spot to enjoy a beer and a pi when it’s sunny!
Great staff, tasty pies and good beers!

Super quick service. Got the Whole Hog
Michael Croco
Really great pizza, good selection of ipa. Looked like a nice place to eat at as well except that isn't possible nowadays. When it is I will be going back. I'd go there for takeout as well, but eating the food right away is nice too.
Patrick Goulding
Really nice chill atmosphere here. Locally sourced food and beer. They even have a live Chicken Coop on premise, and you can get a freshly laid egg added to your pizza.
Adam Gomez
The name says it all. Delicious pizza and a great vibe. I really enjoyed the staff having fun while making our pizza.
Mehmet Vurkaç
Great pizzas, especially the classic margherita and the one with the egg; great dairy-free and veg options; nice place to hang out -- but in the winter, you might wanna get take-out instead of dining in.
Andrew Wilson
Amazing food! Very friendly. Super fast
Alvin Chen
The restaurant has a large variety of vegetarian and meat options for its various pizzas, including veggie meat substitutes. My friend and I shared a margherita and a field roast with Mama Lil's Peppers. Right now they have heaters set up for outside dining on picnic tables with plastic sheets set between the tables.
Dave Boyle
Always great, been back several times. Best place to get a very tasty pizza, with perfect crust, Everytime. Great drinks on tap too!!!
Caroline Bye
I've tried coming here before but the line to order has been long, and the wait for pizza even longer... so I left. But, thinking ahead, I called and ordered a pizza so it was ready when I got there! I think that's the move for this place.
The pizza itself was a standard margarita, and I enjoyed it! The crust was pretty good, a little chewy (which may have been the only negative of ordering ahead... It probably sat there a little longer), but the sauce was solid!
I went on a Wednesday and the live music and half dollar bottles of wine made the atmosphere perfect. I'll definitely be coming back again on a Wednesday!
Claire Lund
Great place for Pizza!! Always delicious and they have the beat happy hour in Seattle! Staff are always super friendly delivering a five star experience.
Tracy Glover
Expensive but neat little outdoors vibe and in a low key quiet spot. Liked the music. Pizza was good but pricey.
Dom Alvarado
Fantastic pizza! Good sauce and crust, decently priced. I did notice the margarita was weird, it had shredded cheese with the fresh and cut strips of basil, so be aware of that if you order it. But it was very good pizza!
Meralis Marcano
The best pizza we had in Seattle hands down. Fresh dough and fresh ingredients.
S.R. S.R.
Even the very simple pizzas with one or two toppings are bursting with flavor. Atmosphere is great. Fairly affordable pitchers and honestly good deals on whole pizzas. Everything is always fresh. People running the register feel like friends. Laid back and friendly even when crazy busy. Never seen anybody ever upset here. Couldnt ask for more from a more health conscious pizza joint
Paul King
Great flavors and excellent wine! Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Will definitely return and recommended.
dupunka
Fantastic pizza! Get an $8 fresh mozzarella pizza during happy hour. You won't be sorry(; also, there is yummy beer on tap as well.
Giacomo Pigionatti
Finally after searching for a good Italian style pizza, I can say loud that we have found it.
From a simple Italian guy
Angie To
Nice dining environment, tasty pizza, friendly service, decent price. Would recommend their apple bacon pizza!
Sean Flood
Pizza is cooked great and it taste really good too. Not greasy so if you’re looking for some grease maybe try another spot. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is really cool too. 😎 …
Lin Lin Pan
Tasted good but classic “nicer” pizza prices. Would’ve given 5 stars but a little pricy for the size and amount of toppings.
Joseph Gray
One of those little in between places that reminds us of Seattle's funky gritty roots, keeping it real! Great classic Italian pizza oven pie, happy hour margherita is on point and a total steal with a pint of well curated local brew
Crystal Nelson
This place is awesome! Amazing and fast service. The vegan pizza is the most convincing I've had. I will say one thing though on portions: I'm a smallish woman and ate more than one pizza to myself. I don't think they serve 2 unless you're not very hungry. I do eat a lot though.
Jennifer Speakman
Delicious, handmade pizza. Garden fresh ingredients. And...they have chickens!
Pavan Samprati
Great stone oven baked pizza. They do have a couple of vegetarian selections which were pretty good! But I wish they could add a few more.
Kartik Murthy
Great setup for Covid and their pizza / beer is reasonably priced and delicious
Mark Aaserud
I love the heaters for some comfortable outdoor dining!
Kyle Adams
Amazing food. Amazing service. Fantastic outside seating. Tried a few of the beers on tap and loved them all. Being new to Seattle, I spent my time searching for the right food stops. I have found my place to get my pies!
Rem McKnight
I reccomended getting your own whole pizza.😎 It's good with plenty of delicious vegetarian options. All the fresh ingredients all super chill and some pretty chicken birbs. …
C W
Excellent pizza and an unreal happy hour. Not super fast tho
Tamhar Singh
Pizza was great but there boxes were too small than pizza size. Opened the box to find 2slices folded in half. Invest in bigger boxes i guess
Linnéa
This pizza was so yummy!! I wished they had more options for veggie toppings but they had a pretty limited menu in general. Good outdoor seating for pandemic times!!! People like to bring their dogs and they also have super cute chickens on site. Staff were all really nice. Go for happy hour, such a good deal!
Jen H.
Would probably try one of their more creative pizza flavors. The Margherita and sauce was not very flavorful. Best to eat in person.
Erica Groce
Love this place, our favorite pizza spot and half off wine bottles on Wednesday!
Dominik Rodriguez
Eat there multiple times a week while working love it, they even let me get the pizza when I was 10 short I was so embarrassed but they made no big deal about it, good people!
Sissi Mattox
I am a regular for wine Wednesday, where they do half-price bottles of wine. I try to make it in time as well for their happy hour. It’s a fantastic deal. Their pizzas are amazing and even when the place is pretty full I have never had to wait a long time. They have a great unique pizzas, like they are roasted eggplant which is phenomenal. The staff is always friendly. It is dog friendly and we frequently bring our dogs.
My two constructive criticism‘s are particular to me, but I would like humble pie to consider them. It would be great if they strung lights over the tables that are to the side, to the left if you’re facing the restaurant, because it is very dark there at night. The second is I would love if they switch to a smaller Pea gravel rather than the big chunks of gravel when it becomes time to refresh the footing in that area. Because it is a dog friendly restaurant, that is pretty uncomfortable footing for the dogs to lay down on. And if it needs to be refreshed at some point, it would be great if that was taken into consideration when picking the material
Genaro Martínez
Great pizza, the dough is very delicious even if it's thin it gets you full. The price is a bit high, probably from the organic source of the ingredients makes a larger check.
Frenchie
Great atmosphere and vibe. Staff was dancing when I arrived which was awesome. I dig a place where people are happy. I had the pulled pork pizza no onions because that's how I roll. The pork had great flavor but was a tad too smoky and even for a humble pie I thought it should have a bit more toppings or maybe shredded and spread more.
Debrah Cook
Fast and friendly staff. My Boyfriend loves the beer selection and I love the pizza
Lauren Schmeisser
This place is fabulous. Their crust is perfectly chewy and lightly crisped at the edge. The toppings are on point- my favorite is the very unique Apple pizza with Beecher’s cheddar, apple slices, walnuts and mozzarella. If you’re skeptical- try it! You won’t be disappointed. I love that they have chickens on site- it makes for a fun outdoor atmosphere.
Danielle Frantz
Must go! The apple bacon pizza is incredibly good. This is a one of a kind experience! Outdoor seating only very casual surroundings but extremely superb pizzas don't miss this gem
Dorian Long
The best pizza I’ve had in 3 years!
Alexandra Knell
Cute little outdoor local restaurant. Me and My girlfriend mainly came to see the chickens that are next to where you eat, but the pizza we ordered was delicious!! I'd definitely say if it weren't for happy hour it'd be rather overpriced, but this is a local sustainable business and I appreciate that so I'd be willing to pay the full price too!!
Ken Wu
The happy hour $7 marg pizza is probably one of the best deals I’ve seen on pizza. Pretty good if you’re just craving good cheap pizza. I gotta try a meat pizza. Also, the Wednesday 1/2 off wine deal seems interesting.
Gingeeta_Creecha
Great food, great building, cute chickens! The girls were very nice and helpful. Different from any other pizza spot I know.
GabeDaGreat
Came here with my father and sister and it was a very relaxing experience. The outdoor patio was very beautiful and well decorated. It was a very cold night and when we came in it was nice and warm. The staff were ready to with smiles on their faces. The pizza was very good for a good price... definitely a night to remember and I recommend anyone to stop by with the family and enjoy.
Peter Hoy
I enjoy the vibe, almost like a food truck with a great pizza oven and ample outdoor fresh air picnic table seating. Very creative use of space, super friendly staff, fine crispy pies with initiative ingredients. And live chickens to watch while your waiting for one of those creative vegan pie combos.
Stephanie Light
Just. Gorgeous. Pizza. The outdoor dining is really comfortable and there are chickens next door for your viewing pleasure. A gentleman even brought my kiddos inside the roost to pet/feed them after we ate.
Hunter
Delicious pizza and great place to eat on a nice evening. They have very limited seating for bad weather though. If it's cold or rainy it's better just to get your pizza to go. My friend and I split the Apple Bacon Mozzarella pizza and it was delicious. Just enough to satisfy two 6ft guys, not enough to make us feel stuffed though. I will definitely be back.
Gary Fish
Very good! Wonderful wood fire pizza! Always great place to hang out with some chill friends. Apple, bacon, and beecher's is a great combo!
JusNik H
Pizza was delish!! Short staffed and def could feel the tension of it .Felt bad for the guy who took our order cause it seemed he was also the chef. Yet we saw lots of other ppl milling about that appeared to work there.... anyway Will def be back the apple bacon pizza was a hit!
Robert Terry
Nice vibe and good food. My children liked the pizza and they were entertained by the chickens in the chicken coop. Kids had the Margherita pizza, adults had the egg, mushroom, both were yummy.
William Schill
All outdoor seating
14” is the ONLY size Pizza
Beer on tap
in short, it is GREAT
Emily Butterfield
A little drafty on a cold day, but love how quirky the space is. Pizza varieties are great, and love how I can take advantage of the 4-6 Happy Hour pizza deal right after work. Wish I could just get slices sometimes since there are so many I want to try and a whole pizza can be pretty pricey, but it's understandable since they grow some of their own ingredients and are completely solar and wind powered!
Richard Zimmerman
Surprisingly warm during the cold weather due to the heat lamps and stoves. Love the quick service during rush hour it was pretty empty so it turned into a good place for me to kick back and take a break. I'm sure it's much more lively during summer but still worth checking out if you want a change of pace compared to most pizza spots.
Great place!
Evan Elliott
Strange location, but truly some of the best pizza in the city. Marg pizza with sausage added is SUPERB. No frills or BS, just good pizza and beer. Can get busy on weekends and evenings, but it’s worth the wait.
Joseph Rapp
Great place and amazingly friendly staff. I was just a few minutes early for the Happy Hour Special but they were kind enough to give me the HH price for the margherita pizza anyway. Pizza was delicious, and this is coming from a New Yorker transplant. Will definitely be back. Oh and chickens!
Herakles Li
The pizza was fast, fresh, and delicious. Reasonable price point for the size and quality ingredients. Had the Apple walnut and the crust was thin and well made, not dry at all. The place is fun in a very Portland feel sort of way. Definitely will be going back to again.
Talex Diede
Amazing pizza! Go on Wednesdays for half priced bottles of wine during happy hour. But don't expect fancy tables, there's an outdoor patio for warm weather days but the only "indoor" seating is at a skinny bar around the covered area at the order window. Delicious and worth it, just good to know what to expect.
Aleksandra Gdanska
Good pizza, great environment, nice people. The one thing that detracted from the flavor was that the pizza was baked unevenly and half of the underside was black/charred and tasted a bit burnt, while the other half was perfect. Still would come back though- good stuff and the eco friendly aspect was cool (plus there are chickens)!
Phil Jones
Only had drinks today, but they were pleasant. Great little tumbledown, rustic style place with loads of character and a great team. Definitely recommended. Went back the next day for happy hour pizza and beers and it was great. This is a new favourite it the vicinity for tasty food and drinks, especially when the sun is shining.
Cafe Racer
Great pizza, great beers. Not a whole lot of indoor seating. More fresh air seating. Nice architectural design (except for the order window which is a little awkward forcing people on both sides to stoop--part of the charm? Not a big deal). Overall love going there, esp. since it is so close to home, but if forced to move I'd make trips back
Jeremy Smith
Enjoyable little pizza place with a wood fired oven and a covered outdoor seating area. I especially liked their happy hour menu choices. They have a few beers on tap and use good, fresh ingredients.
Sam Aran
I haven't eaten at their restaurant yet, but I love this pizza's texture and flavor. And our pickup and delivery experiences are a testament to their attention to customer service. We ordered delivery through GrubHub and something happened that delayed a driver picking it up for 40 minutes. Humble Pie not only called us to let us know so we could come grab it ourselves, but when we arrived they also made us fresh pizzas since ours had sat out for so long. Thank you, Humble Pie!
Karen Murray
This is my favorite pizza in Seattle. Tasty WA style with a great selection of toppings, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio is perfect. The sauce is savory, by the way, as it should be -- not the weird sweetish tomato sauce you'll get at some of the big chains.
The Italian salad is always made with fresh, bright green lettuce and really good cheese, and if you're up for extra carbs, the garlic knots are a treat.
Love the staff, love the food!
Justin DeBron
Great pizza, with 6 picnic tables and 3-4 benches for extra seating. Overhead heated lamps were a great addition during the winter.
Sebastian Tien
No frills place that's more of an outdoor eating venue. Kinda like eating at a covered patio. Ive come here a few times and I can say that I definitely leave satisfied. The pizza is good but not AMAZING. It has the kinda doughy crust you get from a cheap pizza place (Domino's etc...) but also incorporating the burned/toasty crust that you get from good wood fired ovens. The value for what you get is pretty good but if you're looking to get your socks blown off, I recommend checking out Mioposto.
Damon Betts
Had a very nice large salad. It was larger than I expected. I think it could use some herbs though.
wilson lam
An amazing local nook tucked away in the corner of International District
The pizza was absolutely fantastic – their cheese (from Beecher's) was probably my favorite part if not for the great taste/texture of their dough. The balance of cheese/sauce/toppings was great!
The staff was super friendly and all around awesome :)
Katie Seaquist
A little on the pricey side, but when you consider the quality of ingredients they use and the resulting taste, consider me sold! In all honesty I don't think we've tried anything but the Margarita Pizza (always with extra fresh mozzarella) but once you've tried this, you'll also be a life-long customer!
tyler anderson
LOVE this place. Consistently great pizza. The large green salad is huge and very fresh and yummy. Nice vibe and outdoor setting. Very friendly service.
Jess B.
This place is great, but only if you don't like big chain pizza joints. This is not this is not pizza like you find at Domino's or Pizza Hut. It's not meat lovers and other "traditional" pizza. The pizzas here have ingredients like apple and potato; very different, but very good and flavorful. The seating is outdoor, but covered. It's also near live chickens... So if you're afraid of fowl you might want to consider someplace else.
Stephen Kim
I've tried almost every pizza they have and honestly liked every single one but my personal favorites would have to be the prosciutto arugula egg and the sausage with lil mama's peppers. Yes it's just another pizza place but the freshness of the ingredients they use really stands out. Having great beers on tap and wine if you're feeling fancy with outdoor seating makes this one of the top places to eat anytime it breaks 70 in Seattle.
PedroDaGr8
I really wanted to like this place. Great service, fun environment (with chickens), but the pizza was notably lacking. ,
Dan Hoang
The pizza was thin chewy and delicious. Will definitely be coming back here too try the other pies.
Nathan Belmore
The pizza is awesome. I suggest anything with egg on it, I personally like egg and prosciutto pizza. The pizza has a napolese style crust, but it's a little thicker and doesn't get as soggy as other napolese pizza's I've had. All the toppings are locally grown and organic, which is always nice.
The pizzas are quite filling, deceptively so. We ordered 4 pizza between 8 people. We though half way through that we'd need more pizza and ordered 2 extras but by the time they came out everyone was full. The pricing is very good, I think the margarita was $8 or $9, and a the most expensive was like $13 I think. Very good sized, I think you could easily split one or if you were really hungry finish one to yourself (only for the very hungry).
It has a great vibe, very modern feel. It's outdoor seating, but there is some covered seating next to the windows. There's a chicken coop where they grow the eggs.
On the whole a great place for pizza. I'll be going back.
Nick Y
Amazing pizza! I have been to NYC, Chicago, and then all the Italian certified pie shops around Seattle. Hands down the best in terms of flavor, portions, good vibes from the staff, and Seattle feel. The owner is smart using shipping containers and making the most of such a small spot! Genius! Rock on guys!
I love the apple bacon pizza! Made me a fan of non-tomato sauce pizza.
Alex Shi
Friendly and fun staff, herbs grown on spot, IPAs on tap. What more do I need to ask for?
Nici Bissonnette
Humble pie is one of my regular spots. The pizzas & salads are quite good, with a rotating selection of beer & wine. I love the outdoor picnic area situated amongst the planters & chicken coop. This is a great casual spot to hang out & chat while sharing a pie & a pint with your pals.
:) Checkout Wine Wednesdays, where wine is half off and there's music
:( Closed Mondays

I had no idea this place was HERE! Amazing pizza with a fantastic heated deck and patio.
Erika Newitt
I'm a nit of a pizza snob, and i appreciate different toppings and bold ingredients. While the pie crust was great and crispy thin and well baked in the outdoor oven, the flavor overall left something to be desired. If i have more fun dousing my slices in hot sauce, then the taste itself isnt substantial enough. I got the Whole Hog full meat pie. They wouldn't add peppers to it which seems silly. The tap drinks were great. The $6 margherita pizza happy hour from 4-6 is a super deal. The real downer is the foul smelling chicken coop that really kills your appetite when trying to enjoy the outside tables. Great for groups and after work.
Alex
Very light on the toppings. Crust was not bad but nothing special. B- overall.
Michael Auch
Local ingredients when possible. Friendly staff and a decent quality product. It's Neapolitan style pizza, so don't expect a big, over-filling pie. The mushroom pizza came with a salad worth of lettuce and the sausage pizza had a nice tangy sauce with sparce toppings. 4/5 would try again.
NR
I love Humble Pie and their business model - sustainable, organic, and local; the chicken sausage and eggs are quite literally sourced from an on-site coop. In the summer months they also grow herbs on a rooptop garden.
All ingredients are top-shelf - your hands will be covered in flour rather than grease when you leave. Moreover, the owner and staff are all wonderful people. I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars as it is truly one of a kind. Do yourself a favor if you have not already by visiting this superb establishment.
melikesleepy
I wasn't very impressed with the garlic roasted pizza in that they just had whole cloves scattered allover the pie. So any bite with a whole clove was way too intense. Also seating arrangements are pretty limited with the majority of it being outside...
Rune Lassen
Love the outdoor area. The price is reasonable for Seattle, the taste relatively plain. It's very slow and the pizza always seems like they need 1-2 longer.
Jess C
Cute spot with a cozy interior (with heat lamps! So nice) and decent patio. Probably fits about 15 people inside and another 15 on the patio.
They use eggs from their onsite chicken coup, herbs from their rooftop garden, and other ingredients are also sourced as locally and organically as possible.
The pizzas were tasty! Huge portion sizes - four hungry climbers shared two pizzas and it was more than filling. We got a mushroom truffle pizza and they were very generous with the truffle oil. I would have liked some more variety in the mushrooms than just cremini, but the fried egg on top was delicious. The crust is lackluster though.
Anna Murphy
I would love to give 5 stars but they consistently burn a significant portion of the crust! Very tasty pizza when not burnt, but it surprises me that a place that primarily makes wood fired pizzas would burn them so often. Come at a busy time and you will be waiting for a bit- and it's disappointing to wait for a while and then receive a charred pizza.
Damaris Freese
The pizza was delicious! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were friendly. I just wish they had garlic knots or something 🙃 …
Michael Kingsby
The place is unique. A little dusty in the sitting area and some pizzas get burned. Customer service is a little chaotic. It's a hit or miss with the staff. Overall is an interesting place. Will come again. But sometimes We had to leave due to mentally ill homeless people wandering in. It seems like this place is feeding them. Not sure ehat that is all about , because they eat and they throw away the trash on the street and go back into traffic aggressively to beg for money in traffic.
Chris Rupp
It's a very chill place with a low-key vibe, great beer, and great pizza. Went there for an adult's birthday party; several of the adults had little kids. There was a cornhole set to entertain them, there were live chickens in a coop... and there was, of course, delicious pizza and beer. Highly recommend for a good, relaxing time.
Elise Suttie
Pretty great pizza. Dug the vibe and the chickens. Pizza came out
s l o w l y tho. Don't go if you're starving. ;)
Amy N.
Freshly made pizza! We ordered the Uli’s sausage pizza 😋 There was a cute chicken coop that kept us entertained while we waited for the pizza. …
Joshua Howell
Fun place to eat in the summer. Great wood fired pizza and great beer on tap. They have a chicken coop in the middle of the court yard which my daughter loves. Good for kids. They often have live music too.
Erik Braziunas
Great happy hour pizza and great vibe. I'm sitting here reading a book listening to a jazz duo play outside. It's obvious the owners care about sustainability and customer experience. Want more restaurants like this.
A F (Pochemu2)
There was a chicken coop in the yard. In retrospect, I should have taken a picture of that instead of the PNW forager pizza. The pizza is delicious btw.
All in all this location feels like an upscale Evergreen State College food stand on a slip of property that hasn't seen the dizzying rent spirals that rocked the lots across Rainier ave. ☺️😋😋But now that they opened there, and I wrote this review...
G C
Great margherita pizza topping but wish the crust was a little more crispier. Definitely will go back to try out pizza with other types of toppings.
Stephen (Captain Vigor)
Great pizza! Also has a great selection of drinks and the happy hour is a must. The location is great and sustainable.
Ed Yuhara
Had the sopressata and mushroom. Crust had a slight crunch but chewy inside. They were very accommodating as I came right at closing but still took my order. Only 14" pizzas. Thin crust so you can finish one can if you are really starving.
Pauline H
Pretty good pizza, although a bit stingy with the amount of pork on the pulled pork pizza. Fun atmosphere though and I enjoyed watching their chickens.
Ryan Prins
Small spot right off of Rainier. Pizzas are great and the chickens will keep kids (or even adults) entertained while you wait. Not a ton of seating, but people filter in and out, so a spot might open up. Wine and beers are available to purchase to compete the Humble Pie experience!
Lucas Atencio
Fun little pie stop in the ID. First time stopping by even though it is on my way home from the gym and I am sad I didn't stop by earlier. The menu isn't too big which is almost a relief. They make sure that what is on there is done well. I got the sopressata, mushroom and olive pizza that I started eating on my way home. Definitely stop by if you are in the mood for pizza
Geni Venable
Great artisan pizzas at a great price. I also love their beers on tap. They are a good summer spot, but their heaters make it doable in colder weather.
Reverend Gonzo
Pizza pies are very good. We went on a very sunny and warm Seattle day. We found ourselves really wishing for more shade to sit in we wound up sitting right next to the order window to stay out of the burning sun. I'd go definitely go back for take out or close dusk.
Terrie Yaffe
Quite a cozy place. I’ve enjoyed going alone or with a group. Love the limited but creative menu. Never had unfriendly service even during the cold and rainy season. Had the pleasure to watch them build, assemble and open up this precious gem on my way to and from work.
Megan Sebastian
My co worker and I decided to try it out and we were really disappointed. I ordered the Whole Hog and to say the least there was not a whole hog on there. For $15 I would have expected a little more meat on this pizza. My co worker ordered the Egg and Arugula and was also not impressed. It really didn't taste like much. Sad to say that the salads we ordered tasted a lot better. Totally a waste of money if you are craving Pizza. Will not be going there again.
Madeleine O'Neill
Really excellent pizza!!! Plus nice outdoor seating with heat lamps. Very highly recommend!
Reggie Bryant
Sometimes simple is best.
Reasonably priced, thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients that hit the spot. Yes, there are some fancier places around, but pit your frou frou against fresh, well-balanced flavors and the latter will win every time.
It's casual (i.e. chicken coop), outdoor (open air seating), off the beaten track (Rainier where?), but is the place to kick back with a pie and a pitcher. It's got that weirdo Seattle city to farm charm, without the organic-deglutenizing dogmatism.
Derek Bergey
Excellent healthy thin crust wood fired pizza! Humble Pie is one of my top favorite pizza places in Seattle. Good prices, good staff, and a chicken coop to enjoy in the seating area.
Alice Yau
It was a bit on the dry side for me. I also think they could be more generous on the toppings (which other customers have expressed). Overall good pizza. I'll go back for happy hour.
Urbane Streets
Some of the best pizza pie I have ever had. Nice outdoor space, though be prepared to be chilly outside as there is no fire pit. (The small interior area has heaters.)
Eric Molnar
Incredibly tasty fresh margarita pizza, superb happy hour prices in a small low-key open-air building. Super friendly vibe. Like pizza? Like beer? Go here.
Shreya Jagarlamudi
Pizza was great but be prepared for a 30 minute wait at least!
Ted Dahlstrom
Love this place. Pizza is very good but the atmosphere is great. My son loves interacting with the chickens. Definitely a small business worthy of support.
Austin Danielek
Amazing pizza! I love the crust and quality toppings.
Amanda Aude
If you’re visiting Seattle during the summer months, make sure you head here to enjoy delicious, thin crust pizza outdoors. They have a huge wood fire oven, an outdoor garden, and even a chicken coop! I recommend the Field Roast pizza.
Giovanna H
Very impressed with this place! They have vegan cheese, a small garden where they source their ingredients (on site) & chickens for fresh eggs. Food was very good! Nice outdoor seating area where dogs are allowed
Johnathan Wisconsin
Cute little place, great to stop for some delicious 'za and a pint. Say hello to the chickens from whom they get their eggs, and I highly recommend the potato pizza!!

Jace Rusch
This pizza is BEAUTIFUL. Ideal blend of unique PNW flavors & classic pizza appeal. Best crust in Seattle, quite possibly. Also there are chickens.
Thu Jelden
Yummy thin crust pizza and local brew and wine. Outdoor seating in a funky permanently-constructed walk-up stand with a landscape of gravel, grape vines, and succulents. Live music, too!

I forgot to add the fried egg on it but its still really really good
Mike Masaki (mike400/MikeMasaki401)
A local fast food resuraunt doing all sorts of insane food a true gem hidden in plain sight. i'v heard people talk about a long line but i was ether lucky enough to not have to deal with a line or it was just too hot out for others. speaking of hot the one thing i dislike is the heat lamp they have. it's understandable considering in washington it's usually 60 or 70 degrees but when it's 80 - 90 in summer and mid day. i think you fellows should turn it off. aside from that they have a fair few nice things on there list and they will usually have something for everyone. it can be costly but they are a local buisness and they make it thereselfs so it is indeed understandable.
Christina Hopkins
Great pizza. Heated lights made it pleasant to eat outside.
Nick Brooks
Great slices! The bacon and apple is a really unique but delicious combo. Solid happy hour too!

Pizza was delicious and took hardly 5 minutes to get ready. Beer options were limited but varied enough to have something for everyone. Ambience lives up to the name = humble. 5 stars if it weren't for the ambience. I don't think the pricing is justified given the ambience.
