Reviews of HoneyHole Sandwiches
Tyler Angulo
Fantastic sandwich! Highly recommend the BLT. The bun, the crunch, the sauce...it was all great. Very well balanced, too.
Great fries. But don't forget to order sauces! They are provided separately, though the fries are just fine by themselves.
Interior is quite dim, but there are a few booths near the window and some outdoor seating for those nice days.
Hawaiian steel
Wow this was the best sandwich we have had ever. definitely share if you are a light eater. I can eat a lot, but we shared the wave rider and fries, and I am full.
Cozy atmosphere and music playing.
It's worth the walk here.
Corey Strock
Friendly staff and great sandwich options. Both my wife and I thought the sandwiches were large and full of meat. The beer selection was also good, with several local craft beers on tap. Seating was fine, though the spot is kinda small, they still had 20 ish seats and they didn't feel too close together

Love this place. Delicious food, wonderful vibes, and super friendly service. The place seems to have a lot of cold air flowing. A little heat would be nice especially when is 40° outside.
The price seems to be super reasonable. Likely will stop in again when I m in capital hill.
Mika Carvalho
It has a solid vegetarian menu that everything can be made vegan, but they charge a fee for vegan cheese. The menu also has vegan chili and vegan potato salad (I didn't try yet, but I'll soon).
It doesn't have table service, so you need to order in the bar.
What happened to me was that I forgot to order fries and potato salad, the line was long and I gave up on them.
The atmosphere is nice, with colorful lights and vintage pictures on the wall.
Captain Cake
Excellent food. Quirky and mostly ffriendly staff. Bartender kept giving us the stink eye because we sat in the bar waiting for our food but there was no where else to sit and nobody was pining for the seats. It was quite cold outside with homelessness and garbage abounding so not exactly inviting to linger outside and wait. We drove from Port Orchard just for the sandwiches.
Sarang Rakhecha
Veggie BLT was amazing. Herbs N cowboy was decent. Ordered chilli bowl and cheese chilli fries too. I didn't know it before but the chilli used in both are the same. So didn't enjoy it that much. Couple of vegan/vegetarian options. Plenty of choices for ingredients substitutions. Overall good food. Decent costing.
Julia Rosenthal
These are pricey sandwhiches, but they are delicious and at least are pretty big for the price. They have tons of options, and the toast app they use for pick up allows for tons of substitutions which they followed perfectly!
We got the Fast Eddy, The Bandit WaveRunner and Chilli Cheese Fries. Would get just cheese fries next time with no chili, but mainly cause the sandwhiches are so big we didn’t even make a dent on the CCFs
K. Patrick Schaffer
Instantly loved the atmosphere, great vibes. Tasteful tack, great choice of music playing, pretty decent sandwiches. Will re-evaluate soon, worth another shot!
Steffen Wade
The sandwich that comes with the au jus was great. Huge portions, wish the bread was thinner but yeah really good stuff and rad environment. Check it out.

Updating my review! Still a solid 5-stars, no question. Any sandwich that has bacon on it is absolutely choice-- they do not skimp on the amount or the quality of the bacon. Every sandwich is delicious and filling. We ordered ahead during peak lunch hour on a Saturday, so the wait was about 35 minutes. Don't let the wait deter you and just plan ahead, it's worth it.

What a wonderful slice of Cap Hill. This place has some amazing sandwiches, and they are not your typical sandwiches. The flavors are strong and the textures are smooth and crunchy in the right areas. Anybody can find something they like here, and this place's late hours saved me on many late nights when I was out of other options for places to eat. Awesome atmosphere and fantastic food.
Hiroko Ebizaki
One of the best French fries 🍟 and sandwiches in Seattle. I don’t even like sandwiches that much in general, but Honey Hole is an exception. The service and food have been constantly good, and there’s something very heart warming about their 🥪… I’ve tried a few warm 🥪 and they are all wonderful 😊
Xochitl Tovar
Great taste. Order the Eddie and the Texas tease both amazing with a side of fries. The place vibe is great.
Davis Wu
Above average sandwich. Can't say that the sandwich is big, but I can say that it tasted good. The potato salad probably has too much dill in it, but their fries are really good.
ferial mhr
We came to this place before but the food is so good that I totally forgot to leave a review
I like fast Eddies more than others it’s simple a little bit spicy ask for french dip it is so good
Thanks
Aaron Hesse
Recommended from a student tour guide at Seattle U on out visit to Seattle and it did not disappoint.
Both sandwiches, The Dude and The Wave Rider, were packed with flavor and more than enough (I appreciate a place where in satisfied and still have more to eat).
Note: these guys survived the pandemic using mobile ordering so when we came to order it was a long wait as we didn't order ahead, but that just gave us time to do some more exploring - if you don't have time to wait, order ahead!
SuperMusicNova
I thought the sandwiches would be better .. it was meh 🫤 I did like the bread though ! And the fresh lettuce but overall meh and the sandwiches do not come with a side ! The inside in kinda dark .. I might come back .. PS the auju was good 😊 …
Mason Dumais
Staple bbq restaurant for the area. Really tasty sandwiches with some decent vegetarian options.
I've always had a good time dining in or taking out. Wait times can be a little long for hot sandwiches, but cold ones come out in decent time.
Mai Apichaya
I love their sandwiches. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I love their Emilio Pestovez!
Juan Lopez
I have been a recurring customer of HoneyHole since I moved to Seattle (2018). Before COVID, I considered these sandwiches to be one of the best in town. After they re-opened I was so happy. Unfortunately, quality has gone down pretty bad. This is the 3rd time the Buford Sandwich pork is dry and burnt with less meat and little to no coleslaw. This will be the last time here. Sad moment... payed 20 bucks for the sandwich and french fries. Expensive and not worth it
Charlie & Teri Traftons
Stopped in for a quick drink and was blown away. Spencer, the bartender, was great - quick, fun and engaging.
Sandwiches looked good but didn’t order. Next time I will.
Joshua Pollock
Everything was great.. good beer/ bar also which wasn't expected. The Dude was a great sando! Would definitely try again. Oh and lots of vegetarian options available!
Hazel
Our most recent stop here just didn’t live up to what we remember from past visits. Hopefully it was just an off-night since other reviews from lately seem glowing.
One of the people in our party had his order forgotten about but it was out promptly upon checking in with someone. For the rest of us the sammies were just decidedly “good” not great.
Rupali Vohra
This used to be my favorite sandwich place in the city. The food is still solid, but the prices have gone up a LOT in the last 5 years. Plus, the sandwiches don't come with fries anymore :(.
Knocking off a star because I really don't like when self-bus places ask for tips.
mike koontz
Went here with the girlfriend and had one of the best sandwiches ever. Spencer was incredibly helpful, answered questions and suggested the best sandwich I had in a long time. I will be back soon.
Isadora G
I love Honey Hole, such a fun restaurant plus it has great vegetarian options. Eli took my order and was super nice and made me feel welcome! Thank you!
Peter Han
I got their “the gooch” steak sandwich and it was really good. the horseradish was strong so if you don’t like horseradish, probably get another sandwich but it was just right for me.
Alex C
We visited on a weekend for lunch and wow, it was so packed that we had to wait a bit for a table to open up. But I could hardly blame the other visitors - these were some impressively delicious sandwiches and they did not skimp on portion sizes!
Sunil Chhablani
We went there to grab a quick bite and they had amazing sandwiches. Lots of vegetarian options and friendly staff . Paul was amazing and we will come here again.
Zachary Morris
I frequent HoneyHole bc the vegetarian sandwiches are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s always a pleasant experience but it’s made even greater when I encounter fantastic customer service like Ali!
L R
Let me just say the food is incredible- one of the best sandwich places in Seattle. Unfortunately, it feels like their prices keep going up and up ($4.25 extra for a GF baguette?!)- costs almost $25 total for a sandwich and fries, once tax is included: $14 sandwich+$4.25 GF Bread+$3.25 fries+$2.15 tax= $23.65 😀 And that’s not even including tip- which the staff definitely deserves (BTW this is the price in-store- Uber, etc is even more expensive).
But hot tip! UberEats/Postmates etc charge almost $5 EXTRA PER SANDWICH. If you’re going to fork over the cash, definitely order through the restaurant directly.
Alicia Thompson
Mmmmm this sandwich place was Devine. And props for offering vegan potato salad with a topping of bacon if you’re a meat lover. Love the specialty fountain drinks and the staff was very kind and gave good recommendations. In house smoked turkey on anything is my recommendation. High quality and completely scrumptious
Mike Grant
The dude is one of the best sandwiches I've EVER had! The sandwich choices were plenty with options for vegetarians. Side selections were great as well. I wish there was one in my city. Appreciate this gem Seattle!
Olivier
I've only spent a total of almost 3 weeks in Seattle, so not a lot to compare it with, but I truly love their sandwiches. The ingredients are of high quality and the costumer service is also super friendly! One of my favorite places in Seattle and will visit again for sure! <3
Mari
This is a great sandwich/burger place with lots of vegetarian and meat options. Be prepared to spend about $20 for a sandwich, side and a drink.
I ordered the Bellissimo (veggie sand) and it had smoked Roma tomatoes, sauteed onions, banana peppers, goat cheese, fresh basil on a baguette with red pepper mayo. I thought the combination of the flavors worked well and the basil cut the richness of the sandwich while also providing a peppery explosion. The baguette was good, it had a nice crusty exterior and chewy interior.
I only gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because fries should be included with every sandwich/burger. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant, but parking is limited and seating is also limited.
Alexander Lemus (Hosmalex)
I taste a really good pork sandwich, the flavor was delicious, and the bread was really good, not to strong, just in its point.
Kacey Figgat
I am not a real big fan of sandwiches and don't care to waste my time trying sandwich shops out. I am sooo PLEASED to say I was wrong about grouping Honey Hole in with the rest of the sandwich shops. Amazing, funky, GREAT menu and fun ambiance are a few of the things I would list about the Honey Hole. The service was amazing and fast and the food was to die for. Our sandwiches were amazing and the bread was crispy and perfect. Their fries are also pretty freaking good and if you pair with some of their dipping sauces you will probably die of amazingness. Don't be dumb like me and wait to try this place out. I will fo sure be returning to try the rest of their menu.
L4 Soft
I got the BBQ Brisket sandwich and it's a good size sandwich. I've been here a couple times and there are always customers, so you know the turnover keeps the food fresh. Prices have gone up all over the City and across the country, so don't be surprised to pay more than you did in the past. I'm just happy some of these restaurants made it through COVID and now inflation because the some people need the work and willing to work hard, like the staff at this location. Thank you
Cheyanne Farr
I had high expectations based on recommendations to visit, and they STILL blew me away! The wave rider was delicious with flavors exploding and all complimenting each other at the same time. Fries were perfect amount of soft and crunchy. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming I felt like we were friends. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back next time in Seattle!
Michael Kyle
One of the best sandwich experiences I’ve had. I ordered takeout and it was ready 20 minutes before the estimated ready time. I got the Waverider with fries. I first I thought the sandwich looked a little small, but it was so loaded up and ended up being the perfect amount of food. Very reasonable prices too!! Will have to return
Tim Daniels
Good quality food, great fries and sauce. Get ready for sticker shock when you buy a sandwich though. All their entree prices were hidden when I was there. Their service also made me question just how customer-focused they are.
Wish I knew I'd be bussing my own table before being suggested a 22% tip. Games are being played to maximize revenue.
I won't be back unless some special occasion warrants it.
Shopping Bag
Stumbled upon this rare gem of a lunch spot while on a long layover in SEA. The vegetarian versions of sandwiches are very inventive: I ordered the Juke and it was so tasty I finished the sandwich before I could snap a photo. Small but good selection of beers on tap as well. Will be coming back for sure. TIP: you order food from the counter and then sit down.
Krupa Patel
Great sandwiches, amazing staff only problem is the wait time. Waited in line and then another 26 minutes for two sandwiches. Love it just don’t go there if you’re in a rush.
Mert Okyay
I heard it from the locals and so glad that I visited. Their bread, sauces, ingredients... Everything just makes up the perfect sandwich you can dream of. Staff were super nice and helpful, especially since I took a long time to decide on what to get. You must try their garlic aioli.
Luke Swantek
Loved the chill vibe, great food and drinks. The sandwich I got (Fast Eddie) was fantastic
Shane Stender
First time eating here. Nice comfortable counter order style place. Atmosphere has a cool vibe. Not very extensive on seating so can get packed quick. Love the small full bar and if at night I could see how that would be packed. We all loved our sandwiches and mine, The Dude, was probably the best sandwich I have had in years. The flavors melted great with the meat that was well cooked and the spicy mustard added just the right amount of spice.
I was also impressed with the staff. We ordered "to go" as no tables were open but while waiting a table came available and we sat down. The kitchen server came over and asked if we wanted to change to dine in which I thought was wonderfully observant.
Try this place. Doubt you will be disappointed.
Davis Ng
I got the Gooch sandwich with regular mayo instead of horse radish mayo. It was the best dip(au jus) sandwich I've ever had! The meat was nice and tender and the bread was nice and crispy. I'm definitely going to try their other sandwhiches.
Christian Haney
They have a great variety of sandwiches as well as a bar. Seating is tight, both because the venue is small and because HoneyHole is very popular. Both times I've been the dining room was packed to bursting, but it was worth it both times!
Tracie
So damn happy to finally have a sandwich from here, it's been over a year. Ordered the Waverider, the Dude and the Buford. The flavors are amazing! Everything tastes so fresh! And the breads are crisp and chewy. Best sandwiches! Can't wait to be back for more
Kirill
A huge variety of delicious sandwiches, with plentiful vegan options and open later. One of my post-ride gotos and the first place I think of when I find myself in Capitol Hill needing something fast and delicious
John Hodson
Good food, takes a ridiculous amount of time to get it. I wouldn’t come here unless you have 1.5hrs to kill. Was told it would take 20 minutes, 30 minutes later it was still 20 minutes. $20 for a sandwich isn’t ideal either.
Christian Parizeau
Solid sandwich at a decent price. The flavor was well balanced, bread was nicely toasted, and the marinated steak was beautifully tender.
mick yevengich
This place is awesome food is fantastic 😋 it's a whole experience especially with the tasty food it's a bit pricey however you do get what you pay for so it's always a go to when I can't decide what I want and it's also fairly very quick you wait 20-30 minutes for your food 15 minutes top the fastest I got my food was literally 9 minutes and I ordered a few items so it is very quick the staff so far have been wonderful so I always have given 22-25% tip to show my appreciation all in all give it a shot you won't be disappointed
Tomas Rodriguez
Great sandwiches and cool ambiance! The sandwiches are definetely better than the burgers but if you are craving a burger they are really good as well! Staff is super friendly and attentive.
Kathryn Henry
Wouldl love to know it's history. The sandwich was the best BLT I've ever had. Friendly atmosphere
Alyssa Poletti
My favorite place to get sandwiches in Seattle. Absolutely incredible food, great seating and decor, and great service. Highly recommend!
T W
Spencer is the man. Awesome bartender. Amazing sandwiches in a good part of Seattle.
Bimal Sandhu
My new favorite sandwich place!!! Get their beef dip! I don't remember the proper name but it's so delicious. The place gets pretty busy around noon but it's worth it.
Edit - I've been here maybe 5 times now and it's so delicious every single time. We come out to capitol hill from redmond and it's hard to try and eat anywhere else because we can't pass up some delicious Honey Hole. Service is also fast and friendly!!
Eric Wright
Love this place - deliciously hot and crunchy sandwiches, chill and friendly staff (Shay was a delight!), and great prices.
Andrea Mahon
Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Would eat and drink beer here again.
RKFilms
The dude is a delightful steak sandwich, providing an appropriate balance of tender steak, sautéed onions, toasted bread, and brought to life with a spicy mustard.
Daniel Hernandez
Awesome atmosphere, better sandwiches. Had The Gooch, split it with the girlfriend and we were both satisfied. Tackling a whole one is possible but could result in being overstuffed.
The flavors were on point, the horseradish mayo could have been overpowering but blended the sandwich together perfectly.
Only regret was that I didn't get fries ☹️
The red light made my picture look weird. Should have used flash but I am still slightly embarrassed that I take pictures of my food.
Jeff Hinman
Delicious! Had the Waverider which is turkey and pesto. A beautiful conglomeration of flavors that balance and work. The decor is all over the place but it works rather well with the reddish lighting. Would definitely come back to try other sandwiches.
Bob Sweet
I wish I took photos of my BLT before I ate it... The BLT was fantastic and the coleslaw was just as great. If you want a great sandwich you need to take the time and stop in.
Jessica Boespflug
Amazing sandwiches, and nice people I love their sustainability practices and the vibe you get when you go inside. They have a full service bar with yummy margaritas and serve rocky mountain soda which is surprisingly delicious. Overall I highly recommend this place and will be back here.
Kylie Neale
Fantastic sandwiches at a pretty fantastic price. High quality ingredients, friendly, authentic staff, and pleasant environment.
Order at the counter for lunch, sides are optional. Table service for dinner, sides not optional. Allow 15-20 minute for your food. It's worth the wait.
Street parking only. Massive lunch rush.
Ava Maas
Food is lovely as always and Hayes was an absolute delight! Will never stop coming here for great sandwiches
Kelsey Cunningham
2nd time being to this place and the vibe, food and atmosphere are amazing! Ton’s of dairy free, vegan options!
diddiejar
HoneyHole was an absolute miracle worker with delicious sandwiches!!! We needed to feed a very large group with very short notice and Kristen the owner, and her hard working staff came through for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and happy. Everyone loved the sandwiches 🥪 Thank you HoneyHole! We will continue to support privately owned businesses and spread the word about how great you all are.
-Stefanie
Alex Maloney
Had a bit longer wait than normal for one sandwich, but it was a decent sandwich.
Jordan Chambers
The sandwich is so good that after 3 years away in AZ, this was a must go the minute we got back!
Amanda
Drinks were awesome and super reasonably priced. The sandwiches were pretty good but a little pricy. Overall happy with our meal and found the ambiance to be fun.
shane richardson
Funky fun little sandwich shop. Great sandwiches, with a little Tiki/Smokey and the bandit vibe!
Justin Nguyen
Best sandwich I’ve ever had. I am not a sandwich connoisseur, but the sandwiches we ordered were top notch. The menu has lots of unique choices and the staff is very friendly if you are unsure what to get. Highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a solid sandwich experience.
Aruwi Muhammad
Great sandwiches and customer service!
My server Ali was great! She was very informative and helpful!
Michael Braccio
HoneyHole might just make one of the best sandwiches in Seattle! The Texas Tease is my favorite sandwich here. If you are a fan of BBQ and smoked chicken, you will love that sandwich. I've also heard the Gooch and Corleone are really good as well (but I've never tried them personally).
Keith Watson
Sat at the bar. Spencer (the bar tender) was friendly and engaging. Thanks for the great service and good food.
Bennett Rosenberg
Wonderful for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The decorations are worth their own special trip. Such a fun vibe.
leanne Kelly
My sister has celiac disease and some special allergies. I was so glad to find your store with gluten free bread. We stopped in to get a couple of sandwiches. The workers could not have been more helpful answering questions about their ingredients. Bottom line, delightful place, very pleasant people and awesome sandwiches.
Yuchen Zhang
Came here before a show in the Egyptian. The inside is very eclectic and fun. The sandwiches seems interesting and unique.
3 of us got The Dude. Was excited for the steak and accompaniments. When I got the sandwich the first thing I noticed was the flavors were excellent and I was really excited to eat every bite. The 2nd thing I noticed was I could not for the life of me bite the steak. I realized soon that the steak was cut with the grain so it was basically impossible to tear it with my teeth. I ended up saying something to the cashier and he offered me a refund or a replacement and because we were on a time crunch for the movie, I opted for a refund. He gave it to me and I ended up sharing someone else's sandwich. I kept the 4 stars because the service was good and the food tasted great.
But I will say if I had gotten the poorly cut sandwich to go and never got to eat it, then I would be pretty upset. So make sure your sandwich is cut right!
Diana Mendez
They have a very decent amount of vegetarian options and mine was delicious. The service was quick and staff was friendly and checking around that everything was ok.
Steve Heck
Hot and cold sandwich Mecca! Giant sandwiches with creative filling combinations and quality ingredients served on Demi-baguette . The Liotta was excellent Italian sub style. Reuben looked to be the hot order. Also, local beers on tap and cool funky decor.
Rishi Choudhary
Really good sandwich but the pickup order took 30 minutes longer than originally promised
Daniel Carlson
almost famous hot sandwiches are surely my fave thing. props to Paul for the great service!
Gustavo Pohle
Yareli was our server today. She was super funny and helpful. Also if you come here, get “The Bandit” 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Hanna Beytebiere
Good sandwiches with a fair number of vegan options. They were out of my favorite veganized sandwich, the veggie BLT which was dissapointing. I had a vegan version of the Bellisimo which was good, along with a great hibiscus cider. The fries were very good and fresh.
Sophie Debs
Very good sandwiches!! Love the vegan + vegetarian options. Would recommend shying from substitutions as they are pretty expensive and add up quickly but the base sandwiches are excellent.
Pablo Varela
Best sandwiches in seattle! Must try.
Our server Eli was awesome!
Daniel Archer
Visited here for the first time and had a great vegetarian sandwich. I'm not a full time veggie guy, but try when I can. The sandwich was really good and the staff was really friendly. It's a show your vaccination card at the door kind of place and that is just fine with me. I'll definitely be back.
Kyle Whitehouse
our sandwiches were great - every one of them!!
Dylan Ronan
Always one of my favorite spots to stop when I am in Seattle. The sandwiches remain top drawer, and the atmosphere still feels like a more classic capitol hill unlike some of the newer shops popping up in the neighborhood.
Maia Loeffler
This is the best sandwich spot in town! Love the large portions, all the vegetarian options (have literally never found a sandwich spot with this many veg options), and the creative and quality ingredients. The Bellissimo and Emilio Pestovez are amazing.
Richard Hammond
I think I might just have had one of the best sandwiches of my entire life. Brilliant. The ingredient choices, the crispy but soft bread, the jus dip, the quality of the meat and the perfect condiment blend. NICE!
But even better is the atmosphere; great '80s music (don't know it that's just today), a happy crowd of customers and super friendly staff. Oh yeah and fun boho decor. Place has made me happy.
Charles Lex
This place has delicious food- every sandwich on the menu is great. But it takes forever to make the sandwiches. I have waited over 30 minutes for a single sandwich multiple times and the wait averages more than 15 minutes.
Zach
Sandwiches were amazing and the server Eli was awesome! Definitely coming back
Nathan Heishman
Hayes is amazing at his job. Knows all of his sandwiches. Get place to grab a bite to eat!
Mari Vel
I love these sandwiches! The bread is perfection and the bbq is soooooo tasty!
Henk Janssen
Very well filled sandwiches, they're not cheaping out on anything. Delicious.
Jerry Duong
Got the BLT and overall it tasted good. The bread was very crunchy and hard. My gums are still hating me for it.
Shawn M
This place is quirky and fun. The food was great and the people seemed to be happy. I look forward to my next visit to Seattle so I can visit this little place again!
Natashia Dault
Con- Moscow mule was not great. Just tasted like ginger beer so unless that’s your thing? 🤷🏻♀️ Pro- Sandwiches were amaaAzing and our waitress was very personable and made our experience very enjoyable. (Gal with the huge gages in her ears) it was my first time here and I loved it. My boyfriend has been here before and recommended it for a late night supper. I’d def come back and just try a different drink. :-)
Matthew Fischer
Always enjoy coming here during my visits to this city. The BBQ is delicious and the restaurant is unique
Harsha Venkatesh
Bellisimo sandwich is a very good vegetarian sandwich and the staff (especially Hayes) are great
Max Weihe
Best sandwiches in Seattle by far. Shout out to Eli for great service.
Garebear
The options are very inviting for many with its vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. The ingredients used are fresh. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well, with the decor not having a set theme, instead opting for the owner's personal tastes. The only downsides are that each sandwich is above $10 and the wait can take some time, around 20 minutes for me, during busier hours of the day. Overall, a worthy experience that is enough to make you come back, so long as you're ordering ahead for your sandwich.
Alexander Jovanovic
Fantastic sandwiches. Very good tri-tip and pulled pork. Good portions.
Tyler Gilbert
Best sandwiches in Capitol Hill! Great service from Eli :)
Brad Bern
Deeelicious sandwiches!! Fun environment, great decor, coooool peeps working the scene! Glad we stopped in!
Thang Phu
I have been here many times in the past and they have really good sandwiches, but I recently realized how annoying it is to order pickup.
I called and they won't take my order over the phone and requested that I order on their website. I let them know their website require me to put in my credit card which I am not comfortable with due to it being a security risk and I would prefer to pay in store, and they won't take my order and told me I needed to come in store for help. So knocking down a couple of stars for having poorly designed website and infrastructure for ordering pickup. At least have Paypal on your website as payment - people shouldn't trust their credit cards information to just any website.
Bump star up. The owner is nice and care enough to comment on my concerns. Still wish they would have taken my order and let me pay in store. Their sandwiches are fantastic, definitely merits trying out, especially the Fast Eddie!
Julian Freedberg
Delicious Sandwiches! Will definitely be coming back. Shay was great!
James Chacon
Food really good. Rating because their take out service sucks. They ask for a number to text when it's ready (we ordered at the counter). They don't bother to yell out orders just stack them on a shelf. After 20m we find our food and no text....
ishaan khurana
Ordered online and walked in and picked it up but the lady at the order counter was acting like I was stealing the sandwich lol
Emily G
Delicious food at pretty reasonable prices, considering the area. Really fun vibe and kind service.
Caren Naffah
Eli is rad and fun! Thanks for always being so great and we come in.

Their hot sandwiches are the bomb. Very hearty and generous with their ingredients, meaning they don't cheat their meat load or veggies, lol. That's why I've liked them for years. Everything you order there is good. Even the fries are great.
Lunch lines are SUPER Long. 20-40 min wait time. Order ahead. You can't go inside but the registration is by the window.
I like their "dude" sandwich the most.
Jane Lu
This place is goooooood. I love their liotta, didn't love their BBQ sandwiches.
melissa kelly
Hayes is such a kind person, lovely bartender. Absolutely perfect customer service- wish I could have given 6 stars 😉 …
Chinmay Tyagi
Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. This place doesn’t miss
Pratyush Sharma
Best sandwiches in Seattle. Amazing menu for vegetarians that's among the best I have ever tried. The vegan blt is especially great
Travis Neeley
One of the best artisan sandwiches I've ever eaten . Try the fast Eddie. Tri tip beef with hot peppers and cheese . Worth every penny !excellent service as well 😎 …
Asitha Kaduwela
This place reminds me a lot of Ike's sandwiches, there's a decent selection and variety of ingredients, so never gets dull. The sandwich was great, no complaints there, but I do think the pricing is a little misleading. The sandwich I got was around 11 bucks in the board but it ended up being around 16 or so. I saw that they put a star
on the prices but still felt that it should be a little more clear, especially if the actual price is a significant difference. That being said, would come again!
Clayton Zook
Great sandwiches!! We planned to just have a drink, but so many people stopped in for take out orders that we decided to eat too. Glad we did!
Wendi A
Great sandwiches and prices, though the wait can take a while. I would probably order online ahead of time even if dining in. My favorite is the Bandit
Russell Aivazian
Always amazing sandwiches! Eli provided amazing service!
Chris Silvey
Shout out to Shay! Amazing sandwiches, fries, and bar. Definitely coming back soon.
Esther Sun
Nice ambiance! Ordering was fast and easy and service was great, shout-out to Eli!
Chad Brandon
Incredible sandwiches, great fries, good prices, nice people. It's easy to enjoy this last bastion of the old Capitol Hill.
Noah B
Great food. Prices not however. They will dime and penny everything to the max. Wayy to expensive. A sandwich with meat and cheese. Is a minimum of around 15. Its a sandwich... my mother has made better trying less. Prices dont reflect any ingredients. Good....OVERPRICED af.
Dustin Schumann
I haven’t gotten the same sandwich twice, but it’s definitely not for distaste of any of them! They’re all so good!
a stewart
Had the dude sandwich. Steak was nice and tender, but definitely needed just a little salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. I asked for bbq sauce on the side and that was really delicious. The portion size was big and staff was nice.
Omar Barkawi
Love the sandwiches here. I've already been a few times and every single one has delivered! I recommend you bring your appetite 😉
Foxfern Moss
capitol hill has become glass husk of its former self. but honey hole has somehow maintained its warmth. update: i paid 40$ for two sandwiches and a 16oz perrier. i will never be able to eat here again, twas delicious tho.
Odysseas Bletsas
Really really tasty. Keep in mind that it takes some time to get your sandwich.
adam skelton
Definitely my new favorite sandwich shop. Everything was delicious the bread was perfect, they didn't skimp on meat or cheese 10/10 would go back and the garlic bread is to die for
Ivy
Great food, decent service. Very loud, and somewhat cramped place. Eclectic decor. I enjoyed it, but probably would not dine-in again.
Christopher Molnar
Great service. The menu is limited availability so some items may be out depending on day/time. Bread is crusty with a soft chew like a good baguette should be, and sandwich ingredients are interesting, like thin sliced tri-tip or a vegan blt. A good spot if you want a sandwich in the hood and don't wanna support a chain, but definitely not one of my favorites.
Isaac Wolfe
HoneyHole is the type of place you visit when you just want a good sandwich and not have to worry about it. Everything they have is good and their bar offers great cocktails and beer on Tap. Highly suggested for locals looking for a place to call a dedicated sandwich shop.
Jeff Troxel
Food is great, wait SUCKS. Was quoted 25 minutes today which ended up being 40 minutes for two sandwiches. Six or seven people working, but it appears lots of online orders for Door Dash and the like. Next time will order in advance online, as I was late to an important meeting because of mis-quoting wait time. Dine-in should not take this long.
Gunnar
Good sandwiches, but a bit pricey.
Sondra Cuayo
Best sandwiches ever. Great fries. The employees were so great. Wonderful ambience. Whenever I come to Seattle I won't leave without coming here!
Katherine W
Great sandwiches, and Hayes gave excellent service!
Jay Smith
Mr Eli suggested the best sandwich! Great Service!
John McInerney
Great beer selection, nice little bar, friendly staff, great place
Zakkry Endicott
Best sandwich game around and it's been consistent for years.
Joseph T
They make their meats in house and they do it spectacularly. I moved to Seattle and found the name to this sandwich shop hilarious; so I ventured in. It's got this divey bar kind of feel to it. I like nearly every hot sandwich I've tried here. This is hands down one of the best places to get a savory sandwich in all of Seattle. Find one that sounds delicious to you and you won't be disappointed. Just don't go when I go, I hate having to wait in line. Thanks!
Stephen Contreras
Great sandwiches and delicious veggie burgers. I haven't had a bad meal here yet
wu runsen
Super chill place! The cashier Shay was super friendly :)
Rebecca Z
Best sandwiches in the city, hands down. This place takes the art of sandwich making to a whole new level. I usually get their vegetarian sandwiches since I don't eat meat, and the coconut bacon they use in their veggie BLT is delicious. This is our go to spot for a nice, hearty, casual meal. My husband (who eats meat) orders a different sandwich on their menu every time we go and he says every one has been great. A busy spot for locals every night of the week, would highly recommend!
Ellie Hemenway
Excellent food and great service - thanks for being awesome Hayes! :)
Michael Chun
Fantastic sandwiches! I ordered the bandit - a delicious beef brisket sandwich with melted cheese. It was really good.
Tony E
Pretty good sandwiches for 9 to 10 bucks. Wait time could be up to 20 minutes depending on day and time
David Han
Great atmosphere and I felt as they didn't drown the place in music so you could actually talk to your friends. I got the Texas tease as I was feeling like BBQ and it was great. Cleared my plate and the portions we're good. Definitely will fill you up and more. All of the sandwiches here sound great so definitely coming back to try more.
Mathew Ingersoll
Best subs in the city
Julian Alvira
This is a staple Capital Hill Eatery! The sandwiches are amazingly delicious, and a variety selection to choose from. My favorite is the BLT on Cibata with red pepper Mayo! Wow! The Steak salad is delicious also! Must visit super rad staffing also!
Erica Case
Honey Hole is one of our favorite spots. Shay is the best!
Jill
Cozy sandwich shop. Can be crowded but tables turn over quickly so finding a seat isn't too difficult. The bread they use is the perfect combination of soft and chewy on the inside but crunchy and sturdy enough to stand up to all the delicious toppings! Great variety of sandwiches here, satisfying a range of tastes. They also have more than one vegetarian option!
Szamor Phillips-Williams
I tried two different sandwiches here and they were both excellent. The French fries were delicious too. The food was filling and left me satisfied, and the price point was great too. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Anya Gessesse
Pros:
- great bread
- good meat
- onions were good
Cons:
- needed more sauce in the Fast Eddie
Kirren O'Shaughnessy
Hello dinner! This is my go-to Sunday night Delight! I highly recommend the Wave Rider with a side of their hot, crispy and delicious French Fries with a bottle of cold Root Beer and I'm set for the night!
Great staff and cool, new location on Jefferson across from Seattle University Field, Go Redhawks!
You seriously can't go wrong with any of their amazing sandwiches! Their selection of quality, organic products are truly appreciated with every delectable bite! Well done HoneyHole!!! Well done!!!
Marco Montoya
All the staff is lovely. The sandwiches are great, and the vibe is really similar of a bar, so you can come here to socialize in an environment centered on sandwiches. Thinking on coming here more often.
Jose Calvario
I saved this place quite a while back on my Google maps. Had not had a chance to come eat here till today. When I first saw the place and seen their sandwichs, it caught my attention instantly. And turns out that their sandwiches are as good as they look in picture or even better! Besides their food being scrumptious. The ambiance surprisingly inviting even though the small space is made to feel smaller do to all the people coming here to eat. Their service was fantastic, we were attended quickly. Then the time it took for the food to get to us. Is on par with what is being made. Not to forget the friendly staff for being so courteous. In all this Honey Hole is well worth the visit.
Wes Buskin
Love their food I was genuinely upset to find out that they can't redeem thier gift certificates (today) because of a computer problem.
So if you have a gift certificate or you want to purchase a gift certificate, you might want to give them a call to confirm whether or not they have fixed the problem.
To the staff:
If I were in that position I would have rang it up as cash sale and dealt with the till at the end of the shift.
Great food though, so I still give them 4 stars.
I Would like to add that the staff member was very polite and apologetic while slightly flustered with a malfunctioning computer during a busy lunch rush.
Kudos to you sir.
UPDATE:
Situation fixed.
The Online gift cards worked.
Thank you Purdy Lady at The Honey Hole for dealing with the issue and getting to the bottom of the problem so I can get this yummy sandwich to the bottom of my tummy.
Can Comertoglu
Some of the best sandwiches of all of Seattle. Bread is wonderful, the ingredients are fresh and the beer options are great.
Also obviously in the best (and kinda the only) neighborhood in Seattle
Fave for a stop on a night out.
Morgan Vivika
They have AMAZING food! They can make a lot of the sandwiches, and salads gluten free as well. 10/10. My favorite is the fast eddy on gluten free bread, with no aioli on it (I am allergic) add lettuce & tomatoes. This is me, and my best friends favorite sandwich place. Its good for lunch or dinner, and it's a good place to drink also. It has a small bar, but it's also family friendly.
Logan Portteus
Excellent drink selection and super friendly staff. Extra shout out to Hayes
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
Finally tried the sandwiches and they are DELICIOUS. They are protein or veggie heavy. Their bread is crispy yet soft. The sandwiches are some of the freshest I've tasted. I am not a sandwich person so if you hate sandwiches, this place might make you change your mind. The decor inside is dive-y and the service was super attentive and fast.
Abraham
Delicious and nutritious! I got the dude, you can't go wrong with it. It's quite filling and tasty.
Adam Simpson
Great sit down or take out lunch spit with very tasty sandwiches. Every time I have gone they've been very busy, so order ahead of time (especially around noon) or make sure to be prepared for a wait, but the food is well worth it
Chris Carrington
The food is great! Some of my favorite sandwiches can be found here.
I don't recall if I saw it there for lunch, but it would be nice if they had fresh, unsweetened brewed iced tea. It's a nice, low calorie beverage option, with high profit margins.
Debika Dutt
This place is located right in the midst of Capitol Hill. It's a small place but their sandwiches are dang good! I had the Texas tease and it was one of the good sandwiches I've had for a long time. I wasn't able to finish the whole thing and it was a platter with garden salad on the side. The drink Rosemary tini was also nice. Nice place to go with friends. The decor inside was cool too! I'll come back for more of their sandwiches.
Orion Rendon
Amazing food and Eli was so friendly!!! Made it an amazing experience!!
Macayla Trenck
Honeyhole is a must visit! They have so many vegetarian and vegan options to choose from and everything is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I literally dream about these sandwiches, yum! Plus the staff is very friendly and they have a great takeout set up.
krista howell
Amazing food. Staff was so friendly. offered local attractions that are lesser known to tourists. BEST lunch we had the whole week we were there. I love the pride oozing out of there. Love the all gender bathroom. and truly appreciated their openness to individual identity. Keep it up. I can't wait to come back the next time we vacation to Washington!
Julianne Harmon
I got 2 sandwiches to take back to my hotel and try, the Dude and the Fast Eddie. To my surprise, the Dude was the better of the two. The sandwich size was impressive, but despite the reviews from this place, these sandwiches were not as good as the hype and I feel no need to go back. They were good, don't get me wrong, but restaurants in general in Seattle seem to be very highly rated for the food you get.
Carly Revier
Very impressed. Cozy little sandwich shop with a cool vibe in the heart of Cap Hill. Plenty of vegetarian options. I got the veggie burger (made with Field Roast) and can't wait to go back to get another one. Soooo delicious!! Great staff and fast service too, even on a Saturday night.
Anya Krupp
Great sandwiches, good on tap selection of local brews. Very limited sitting, place is super popular, but the wait is worth it. Delicious food and portions are big. Honestly, I liked it more then famous Paseo sandwiches. If you are in the area, stop by HoneyHole. You won't come out hungry.
Daniel Revier
My girlfriend and I just moved here 6 months ago and have slowly been going through all the best places to eat in the city. We have a special spot in our hearts for burger/sandwich places and HoneyHole fits right in.
My girlfriend got the vegan burger which looked amazing 👌 It came out just loaded up with all the perfect toppings and she wouldn't stop raving about the bread. I got The Dude (flank steak) and loved the spicy mustard and caramelized onion flavors mixing. We both got the fries which were light and crispy. Fried to perfection!
Loved it and already looking forward to going back.
Abhishek
The sandwiches are mostly hit. Ive had 3 sandwiches. Ballisimo and pesto were good. El guapo - Veggie patty was bad. Its a good place for vegetarians.
Graham Collie
Lots of fillings, amazing fries and the bar area seemed fun. Was fighting the jet lag so didn’t partake in any alcohol but would definitely go back.
Lucas Schuetz
Been here a handful of times. It's genuinely fantastic for a lunch. Sandwiches are famous (I believe that is literally the case) and the beer is great to wash it down. Staff is wonderful as well but if the place is a little small so it can be difficult to find a place to sit during peak hours.
Kaitlyn Study
This place is a little hole in the wall sandwich shop. All of their sandwiches are big and tasty. I got the Buford and it was so much I took half of it home. Get their fries too- they’re crispy and salty! The decor is funky and fun and the staff are nice and helpful with what to order.
Colin Curry
Wonderful sandwiches and fries. They roast and prepare their own meats, to great effect. This is also the only place I've found in Seattle that has figured out how to prepare field roast (successfully enough that I end up stealing bites from my vegetarian partner's sandwich)! The staff has also been kind and warm as well, in my experience.
Richard Dizon
Definitely a local favorite mine whenever I'm looking for a casual but hearty meal with friends! Their vegetarian options are great without sacrificing any quality and their menu as a whole should appeal to a wide array of palates. The staff is super friendly notably when helping to pick something out from the menu.
Gabe Bursk
So thankful to have this sandwich spot so close to me. I like their variety of options.
I usually order ahead online and they are prompt and fast with my order!
Kevin Delaney
Such a cool spot. Great sandwiches, a good selection of PNW beers on tap, and the staff are really friendly. I made a mistake on my order which was entirely my fault, but the manager corrected it at their expense which was really awesome of them.
Absolutely recommend this place!
Nathan Burgess
The ambience is fantastic. It’s small and has tons of random and interesting things hanging from the walls and ceiling. The music playing over the speakers wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t hold a conversation.
The food was really good, but a tad pricey. Definitely worth the trip if you like sandwiches, I’ll be returning for sure.
Nae Nae
Love the vegetarian/vegan menu. Great prices and the servers are all super friendly and down to earth. My only gripe was the bread my vegan blt came on was way too toasty. Other than destroying the roof of my mouth, it was really tasty and the fries were really yummy. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Just like me, wink*. I could chill in this place all day. It's welcoming and true to the Seattle vibe. Unique, and creative. :) Go here for great food and a good time.
Diana Royalty
Excellent sandwich (with plenty of gluten free and vegan options)! Also played awesome music that just felt laid back and fun.
Louis
This place was great! The sandwiches are excellent and the fries are perfectly cooked to how I like them. Service is friendly while not intrusive. The first time we went here it was crazy busy and there was not very good organization as to where to wait or who was next, but otherwise it was great.
Brian Kim
The people are nice and the sandwiches are great. Zero complaints except for the sometimes long wait times. I usually come early right after they open to get my order fast.
Erik Schwab
Shay and Eli were amazing!!! Love the Fast Eddie!
Kirsten Pickett
Love the food options here. Quick service but awesome variety. I love their turkey pesto! It's got a great vibe and quick service. Good variety of brews too. Like everything on the hill it gets busy on the weekends but it's pretty easy to grab a seat any night on the weekdays.
Trevor Sullivan
My girlfriend and I ate here and were pretty impressed! The waitress wasn't terribly outgoing, but she wasn't rude. I had a gluten free baguette with my sandwich, and was impressed with the crispy texture of it. She had a tasty vegetarian sandwich with red onion and ranch on it. Very tasty.
Unfortunately this place doesn't allow you to order BBQ alacarte, which isn't customer-centric. They flat out told me no. I have food sensitivities and would prefer to eat the BBQ without any extras.
I would definitely visit again, but the service could use a little improvement.
Dana Mar
I love the Fast Eddie here. Every bite is delicious. The bread for the sandwiches is really good and they give you ample meat. I wasn't a fan of the potato salad, though. I like my potato salad more creamy and potato-y, less vinegar taste.
George Horn
Pricey sandwiches with a lengthy wait, but that's the price you have to pay for a well crafted sandwich with quality ingredients I suppose. The au jus was rich and well seasoned, which is almost impossible to find along most restaurants.
Peter Pentescu
When you need a late night sandwich, there's no substitute for Eli and Honey Hole!
Julie Worthington
Amazing sandwiches all around, and great gluten free baguettes. Almost everything in the menu can be made gluten free, but they do flash fry something glutenny (I can't remember what) in the fryer, so if you're super sensitive stay away from the fries. The other side are great though!
P Fernando S
Sandwiches were good, the service was great, prices are higher than expected but not outrageous, the ambiance is very chill.
Allyson Yamauchi
The sandwiches are delicious. My husband got the "made in house" pastrami and loved it. I got the barbecue beef sandwich and yum. They were very meaty and we could only eat half but got to enjoy it twice with leftovers the next day.
Sabel Roizen
One of the best vegan burgers in town. Frequently plays Talking Heads and Duran Duran, so it's basically one of the happiest places on Earth. Constant good vibes. Two single-occupant, gender-neutral bathrooms are available, which is rad. They do counter service during the day and table service at night. They've been really rad about phone orders that I can come pick up on my lunch break, so if you work nearby, this is a great lunch spot even on days with less time.
deejay scharton
Great sandwiches and a decent selection of beer. Service is snappy and the art makes in a fun place to hang out. Really great food.
The place is pretty small though, so if you have a large group (more than 4) you might want to look else where.
Kit Fox
This is a great place to get sandwiches! It's different from just your normal sandwich shop. Their creations are unique, and the inside of the restaurant is decorated with all kinds of fun things. Definitely a good place to stop in if you want something quick to eat that's not the same as everything else around.
Joshua Potter
Shay is so friendly and amazing. This place is awesome!
Amrutha Srinivasan
Best sandwich place in the area! Hayes is the hookup!!
David B (Zenith215)
Spencer was her bartender and he was excellent.
Ch Jr
Great sandwiches. All of them. And their fries are the best. And their beer selection is always great.
tony potts
Very good place, HoneyHole Sandwiches is the place to pretty yummy sandwiches.
I been here twice and the sandwiches are delicious. Specially the bandit sandwich and the Buford T. Justice. Oh my god amazing!! if I could give them more stars It would definitely be 10 stars.
I highly recommend HoneyHole Sandwiches!!
Soohee Kim
Turkey pesto sandwich - excellent
Garden salad - really delicious
Casey Broome
This is a great place to grab food. I love the environment they have created. It was definitely fun to to look at all the things on the walls, hanging from the ceiling, and the music was great. Our food was really good too! If I had to choose a downside it would be the street parking but that isn't their fault.
Savannah Möller
Awesome sandwiches and burgers! They have tons of veggie/vegan options and they're open late. What's not to love? They also do happy hour from 5-7 and 11-close on weekdays.
Desirae Pepper
Absolutely amazing! Their fountain sodas are awesome, the Gooch was the most tender flavorful steak ever, the fries are perfect and the garlic aoili is to die for. We also had a turkey and a club sandwich and both were very good. Overall high quality ingredients combined in the tastiest way!
MŘĶ MÄďäřÄ
Wonderful place for to drink..... I recommend the food is very delicious and the place is small but is very comfortable..... if you want to go for a meeting it's perfect...
Jacob Molloy
Love these sandwiches. The meat is all smoked in house and tastes amazing. My favorite is "the dude"
Fiona Garrett
These sandwiches packed some good heat. Atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool
Harshit Sharan
Great Vegetarian options, and thanks Paul for the recommendations!
ted mohn
Sandwiches are definitely the focal point of the menu and for good reason. There is a huge variety of sandwiches and has something for everyone. My entire party ordered sandwiches and shared cheese fries. The sandwiches were excellent and rich in flavor, but the cheese fries were bland.
Christopher Rose
solid vegan sandwich options, if you modify the vegetarian menu
Lester Callanan
It's a must visit every time I'm in Seattle
jeff pak
sammies are super good here. eli was very helpful (:
Sarah Johnson
Sandwiches here are simply the best. They have a fantastic vegetarian selection, the chilli cheese fries are so freaking good I can't believe they're vegetarian. Drinks are always good as well. Happy hour menu is good for drinks, get there early for HH though it fills up fast
Anton Sagun
Best sandwich shop in Seattle. We take all our friends who are in town to visit and they are never disappointed. The Dude is my favorite. Can't wait until they are open to eat in again
Jessica Shortz
Amazing sandwiches in a unique, pop-kitsch atmosphere. If you want the best experience, get your sandwich with a side of fries and pay the $.75 upgrade for a cup of the amazing garlic aioli. I'd opine on how wonderful all the sandwiches are, but I'm a dedicated fan of the Emilio Pestovez and haven't ventured away from it even after multiple visits - it's that tasty!
Alex Nguyen
Pretty good spot for sandwiches. Half of a sandwich filled me up and I would say one order of fries can serve 3-4 people.
Serina Gee
I've always been meaning to come here, but it took me 1 year to finally make it. The decorations inside are kooky, make no coherent sender, but are somehow fun. The sandwiches are good, especially the bread. We got the tri-tip sandwich, which was $15 after tax. I thought it was pretty expensive considering the size, but I'm also more on the frugal side. Overall, it was good.
Elle Collier
I have to say I was really disappointed with my first time here. My beer was completely forgotten until I had to go back up there and remind them, she did apologize about it though.
The actual issue is I ordered “the gooch” and the amount of horseradish on there is insane. My mouth instantly was on fire and I ended up barely being able to taste anything after that 🙁 I couldn’t even enjoy the sandwich because all I could taste was the horseradish. I just ended up giving it to my friend.
Gavin Greenwalt
The vegetarian and meat sandwiches are all incredible. Heart attack in a tinfoil wrapper but delicious.
Nick Behling
Delicious food, Hayes is a GREAT employee! :)
D Dawson
They are well known for their sandwiches and if it have a favorite get there early because they can sell out. I had the BBQ brisket sandwich. It was good, not the best I've ever had but then again this place is in Washington not Texas, so good is pretty darn good. They also have burgers.
John Roman Quiles
Where to begin, sandwiches are beyond delicious, they are what dreams taste like. Big portions so it is sharable and well priced, my favorite things about restaurants. good beers, good vibe. small but amazing.
Ty Brookhart
Hard to find something not to like here: great sandwiches (especially the BBQ), a small selection of craft beer on draft at reasonable prices and friendly staff.
The décor is eclectic, paying homage to the blues, the South, fishing and Africa... Yeah kinda weird but cool. Music plays comfortably loud, like a chill party and the warm yet dark interior invites you to stay.
Wish they had sidewalk seating.
Rayven Thadeus
Yrelli took care of us late at night when we were tired and low. Thanks dude!
Orion O'Malley
A top 5 sandwich spot in Seattle, #3 overall, and #1 in cap hill. You won’t leave there disappointed if you get any of their specialty sandwiches.
The shop itself is dimly lit and almost divey, but friendly and eclectic at the same time.
Patricia Cervantes
They serve good homestyle food. Good sized portions and friendly atmosphere. Loved the decor.
Jacob Hubbell
Best sandwiches in Seattle bar none. Crazy eclectic atmosphere, fast, friendly service, and tasty drinks to keep you company while you enjoy big hearty sandwiches and generous helpings of some yummy sides. Bring an appetite or expect to have leftovers!
Stevie Howard (stvhwrd)
These sandwiches are absolutely lights out! Hearty, delicious, satisfying, and great recipes. Gluten-free bread is pretty decent too! This is THE sandwich spot in Seattle
James Martinez Jr.
Walking in I was a little intimidated about all the delicious sandwiches on the menu but after speaking with one of the employees about my options and what to choose, I was finally sold on the Fast Eddie!
Wow! What a Sandwich! And the gentleman suggested to get it with a side of Au Jus and that right there people ELEVATED the sandwich to a whole new level! DON'T second guess visiting this place because if you do... You'll be missing out!
Ray Castillo Jr.
This is the first place I ate when I moved to Seattle and it's still my number one favorite place. I've tried all the sandwiches and they're all delicious. You can't go wrong. They have good beer on tap and have happy hour (check their website). This place embodies Seattle, and if you only eat at one place in Seattle, this is it.
Danielle Radic
Honey Hole's french fries are so delicious. They offer a variety of sandwiches and have both vegetarian and meat options. Sometimes the wait time is too long for a 30 min lunch break but you can always call your order for pick up.
Ali Tayyebi
Service can be funky depending on when you go, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is heavenly, and it's one of those places that you have to visit if you're in Seattle.
The sandwiches taste fresh and are full of flavour. I've had the Gooch, the Dude, and Fast Eddie, and all of them have tasted amazing. Definitely recommend going here at least once if you're going to be visiting Seattle.
Sam Vogel
Bread on the sandwich was delicious, fries were great and soup of the day was awesome (cream of red pepper). The contents of my sandwich (brisket) was a bit dry and the coleslaw wasn't amazing but you can definitely get fantastic food here at a good price.
Skyler O'Connor
A little cramped, but the food is always worth it.
Seryn Phoenix Chavez
I hate sandwiches and I still love this place
Tho Nguyen
We get Honey Hole way too much... cause we can’t get enough 😅 The Dude and Fast Eddie are our go-to choices, and are so good!! The garlic aioli is also really good but I usually don’t do the little splurge to get it …
Laurel Clark
I love honey hole. They have very tasty vegetarian sandwiches (veggie BLT is my favorite). You order at the counter and they bring you the food. Everyone is very nice and the establishment is very clean. I like to sit by the window and people watch.
Matthew Koppe
Great service from Eli, really good sandwiches
Nacho Manager
Eli and Yareli were amazing and super friendly!
Marina Semez
Ok this place might have the best servers in Seattle. I usually go here in the evening/night when there's table service and I'm BLOWN away by how kind and funny the servers are. Super accommodating and laid back. Also amazing vegan options.
noe marquez
Great food, enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Will stop by again if ever in Seattle again.
Robbie Greenberg
Sandwiches were really good no denying that, but the potato salad and coleslaw were so bad it really clouds my thoughts. Stick with the non vegan menu and you’ll be good but don’t drift toward to veggie menus. Vegans go elsewhere way better vegan options around.
Daniel H.
A classic Seattle establishment! It truly lives up to its name, a hole somewhat dark and maybe a tad questionable but oh so delicious. The wave rider has been by go to for years with the bandit coming in second but both are exceptional. The flavors play well with each other for most of the sandwiches. The sides are good too! Well done Honey Hole!
Devon Terrell
Fantastic sandwiches! The Texas Tease, a chicken BBQ sandwich, had just the right amount of kick to compliment the rich chedder and crispy baguette. Excited to go again an sample more of their menu!
Cassie Daniels
Eli was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great place!
Katherine Argulles
Me and the boyfriend always get the Thing 2 chicken burger and it's to die for!!!!! I don't think I've ever eaten bacon that thick. We've had other sandwiches but we always come back to the t2!!! Staff is always so pleasant and a joy to see! Service is always great here, just wish there was more seating sometimes because they get busy on weekends but atmosphere and food is amazing so it's worth the trip out.
Van S (vs17)
Honey hole is extremely busy during lunch rush hour, but the food is worth the wait The menu is clear with so many choices of sandwiches, but Emilio Pestovez is one of my favorite with a side of their chef salad. The food is always made to perfection and I would definitely return and request to friends
Caren Teigen
Excellent deli! You see what you can buy upon entering. I got the Sierra Deli Sandwich. It had real smoked gouda and turkey toasted. I couldnt eat it all. The bread melts in your mouth. Get there about 11:15am and beat the lunch crowd.
Thomas Johnson
We went to this place on a whim, in the mood for warm sandwiches. I didn't read any reviews or hear anything, so no expectations. The service was amazing and the sandwiches were far above expectations. Really. That f#*king good. I got The Gooch, which blew my mind. Will definitely return. I used to frequent this space many years ago when it was the cafe for Edge of the Circle books. If they only knew how much occult activity occurred in their basement!
Weston Blankenship
Big delicious sandwiches! They also have Rocky Mountain soda company on tap for soda lovers!
Michael Priddy
Small space, doesn't take much to make a crowd. Took 30 mins to get food. After waiting about 25 mins, finally decided to check on it and the guy acted like we were horrible for asking. The sandwich was good and was hot, fries were cold. If you don't mind the overly laid back type of atmosphere and waiting 30 mins for your order (to be clear, this isn't a be waited on type place, you place your order at the the counter and they bring it to you), then it may be worth checking out. If you are on a schedule and need something a little quicker, may wanna skip it.
Ky Yont
My sandwich was great, very juicy. The fries were definitely above average, crispy and hot. The interior is a little too dark, loud, and intimidating for my tastes, but good place overall.
Hannah Colwell
Not quite sure why HoneyHole has such high ratings. I've gone here twice and both times the sandwiches were mediocre at best. I will say they have a decent amount of vegetarian options. However, just because there are vegetarian options doesn't mean they are always good.
Brian Biladeau
One of my staples for a sandwich on the hill . They are set up for countertop service in the afternoon and switch to servers in the evening. They have amazing ingredients and good bread with a nice crunch. Also a full bar enjoy.
Max Sledge
Very yummy vegetarian sandwiches. And clean, they wiped the table 5 separate times when nobody sat Thare
Chad Thornley
Such a great little place! Door is set back from the sidewalk and rest of the building, but when walking inside you are greeted by all kinds of funky and unique decor. Makes for a fun environment, and the food is incredible no matter what you order. I will definitely be going back again and again.
Edward Cuaresma
Awesome sandwiches, Shay is great!
Josh Longworth
It's small, warmly lit, and very cozy but the food is amazing. I got the Fast Eddie and was very pleased! Definitely recommend. Call ahead if you work in the area and are trying to get lunch, the waits are very long for service due to popularity and the size of the place.
Suzanne Maloney
Yum! I ordered the Texas Tease for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! The chicken was SO flavorful and tender, it tasted more like a slow-roasted pork! Their demi-baguettes are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. I could have eaten it alone it was so good, but with the chicken, tangy bbq sauce and melty cheese, I was I heaven. The service was a little slow, but they were also a lot busier than I’d have expected for the middle of a Sunday afternoon, so they may have just been short-handed. And any wait time was made up for with friendly service and the great, cozy pub atmosphere.
Julian Pellerin
Perhaps Seattle's defining sandwich shop, with good prices, a solid bar, and most importantly, phenomenal sandwiches. Meats done in house, well thought out vegetarian sandwiches, and a charmingly tacky interior round out an amazing spot to eat, whether for lunch or a late night dinner and drink.
Kelly Cover-Tam
This is a great restaurant for vegetarians and omnivores alike! As a vegetarian, I can say that I have loved every sandwich I've gotten here. They have a variety of veggie "meats" and sandwich options. When I'm in Capital Hall, this is my go-to spot.
Kenyon Kennard
Amazing sandwich options, can also customize many of the options for your dietary restrictions. The pesto sandwich made vegan is the absolute best!
Phil Green
I had the Yer Blues Burger and a cup of Cream of Mushroom soup. It honestly was the tastiest burger I have ever had! I prefer a more traditional bun, or at least one that would fit the burger better, but the burger itself was great. The Cream of Mushroom soup was superior as well. If I have another free evening before I leave town, I'm heading back for more!
Hleb Hladki
Love this place, Shay was extremely helpful with a recommendation for the Dude.
Eric Templin
Service is always really fast and good here. The Bandit is an awesome BBQ beef brisket sandwich. They’ve raised their prices slightly over the years, but it’s still the best place to get a sandwich in town late at night.
Kalani Gamble
Very welcoming folks here. They switched to table service in the evening. The food was SO good. I tried a vegetarian sandwich, can't wait to try another! Definitely will be swinging by with my family on our next hill outing.
Melanie Clark
I have never, ever been disappointed at Honey Hole. Every sandwich is delicious. I take every person I'm able to eat there with me every chance I get. They have great vegetarian options as well, and their soups are tasty. Grab a bear and a sandwich and have a chill evening at Honey Hole.
Gabi Colby
Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Great flavor and unique combinations.
Emily Woods
Love this place ❤️
I get the guapo every time

Tim Roberts
Great sandwich!I had the bandit brisket sandwich and my wife had the turkey. Fantastic! Service was very nice as well! Definately recommend this place!
Michael El-Jiz
Bbq pulled heaven
This sandwich store and bar is consistently good and welcoming. The decor is stuck in a remodel as they transitioned from the 60s to the 70s.
They have sandwiches and burgers, meat heavy or completely vegan. They’re all delicious. Vegetarians and vegans, everything you choose will amaze you - but do try their burgers or the blt. For meat eaters go for their cooked meats. Their bbq sandwiches are quite tasty, and friends seem to love the fast eddie. Their burgers are quite good too.
Fries and vegan chili fries are salty and crispy.
Lauren F
Delicious sandwiches and beer! Though it can be a bit dark and has more of a dive bar feel. But depending on your mood, that may be just what you are looking for! But either way, can't go wrong with the food!
Sean Vernon
This place is incredible. Some of the best vegetarian sandwiches I’ve had period. Can’t go wrong with any of them. Love this place.
David Olsen
I've been here several times and haven't had a bad or even average meal. Great sandwiches, a variety of drinks and friendly staff make this good choice for a regular stop. Plus, you can't beat the price!
Andres D.
This place is super cool. Food is great. Servers are amazing. They give you a lollipop with your bill
Beth Neibert
Unexpectedly Delightful! Our first visit and our eyes were filled by the interesting decor, delicious food made our taste buds dance, and the pleasant service made us smile. Overall ... excellent and a place to return to over and over.
Kate Gallagher
Super sandwiches, very hearty. Loved the Gooch - the horseradish was strong enough to clear my sinuses! Can't go wrong with anything you order - high quality ingredients.
Ashley Rush
It's definitely a hole in the wall, but this whole in the wall is magical. I got the Fast Eddie and a Moscow Mule and they were both delicious. The bread for the sandwich was perfect and the mule was made just right. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Seattle.
Tucker Flood
Honey Hole is awesome. The staff is great, the food is on point, the wait times aren't bad and they rock a full bar. With a daily drink and beer option I...really can't say anything bad about the place. The only problem is that the Fast Eddie is so good, I always end up getting the same thing.
Because damn, man. That Fast Eddie.
Leo Ohannesian
Hayes is great - good sandwiches and fried
David Inglish
Went because of a rumor of vegetarian chili cheese fries and found they don't serve that until 5pm that day. Heartbroken, I joked with the staff and ended up getting a great recommendation of one of their burgers.the fries may not have been something to write home about, but that burger was well made, tasty, and definitely one I want to return more for (and those chili cheese fries!). I'm interested in also eating in as the layout is cozy and has a decor that I could get into.
K S
HoneyHole is my go-to for vegetarian sandwiches. The flavor and portion size is great, you can never go wrong with The Juke. I’ve seen people complain about the prices, but considering this is a locally owned business and flavor levels above a place like Veggie Grill, I’d say it’s worth the money.
Shilpa Shrestha
Delicious sandwich for awesome price. No wonder it gets super crowded. Absolutely loved the funky ambiance with welcoming people. Will definitely go back to try different sandwich.
Candace Tarkeshian (AnimePython)
Kathleen's menu suggestions were exactly what we were looking for! Phenomenal sandwiches and aioli. Seriously, order extra aioli for your fries.
There is no real room for strollers, so heads up.
This is also a great place to meet up with friends, but the tables are pretty small. We managed to get 5 around a corner table without smacking elbows, but a larger group might want to plan on waiting for 2 tables to open up.
Tyler Waaler
Fantastic sandwiches. Bit of a wait, but absolutely worth it. Good if you want to grab a drink after work or just need a quick bite on the go. Highly recommend.
Robin M
Solid job on good hearty sandwiches served on toasty fresh breads, quality ingredients, and interesting flavors. Solid beer selection and a great funky vibe (velvet panther paintings, portraits of Wonder Woman and Burt Reynolds).
Counter service and self-bus tables keep the prices low, but don't forget to leave a little something in the tip jar for the friendly staff.
S L C
While on vacation in Seattle, we asked our Uber Driver for a recommendation as he was a local. We are SO HAPPY we took his advice. The atmosphere is casual and quirky, the beer selection is wonderful and the food is tasty!
Sanjay Arichandran
The sandwich, soup and salad were tasty! Service was good.
Alan Card
Good sandwich spot to go while bar hopping. Some of the sandwiches tend to be a little sauce heavy so you may want to ask for easy sauce but other than that, I had a great time with good drinks and food.
Matt Moore
These have to be the best Sandwiches in Seattle. The vibe is awesome with great decor, amazing music and food that is just down right amazing. The Fast Eddie is my favorite. Get it with some fries and a local brew and you have an amazing day.
Jesse Shefford
This neighborhood gem serves generous sandwiches in a lively setting. On a recent visit, when I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, french fries, and two servings of cole slaw, the order-taker asked me if we were going to share the sandwich. I said yes, and when our order arrived it was equally divided on two plates. We appreciated this thoughtfulness and we enjoyed the food, which was delicious, generous, and reasonably priced.
Miles Poulon
Great eats! So grateful this place has survived all the changes Seattle has experienced. Metamorphed from an evening watering hole to an amazing all-day sandwich joint w a full bar and the quirkiest, endearing decor. Any food order made here is a safe bet and the pours are good.
Brian M. Demkowicz
Vegetarians and carnivores unite. This place has you both covered. Delicious sandwiches! The Gooch is my favorite.. it's their version of the French Dip. Yummy! And be sure to try their potato salad!
Bosco Maser
The service staff comfortable. Beverages and food came out at a timely manner. my only complaint was it was a bit of a wanting to be chefy environment and the fries that were delivered were at room temp. they did though replace them very quickly making the experience enjoyable.
Monica Monroe
Funky decor and laidback atmosphere make this a fun eatery to grab a sandwich and a drink. The fries are so crispy and delicious. The staff is laid back and doesn't rush or pester you. This place is quintessential Seattle in a hip neighborhood.
Oscar Sweatman
Awesome pork sandwich with pineapple BBQ sauce. Great drink and fries.
Alexander Staufenberg
Great food! Just don’t say that you are new! The guy at the register went on for 10 minutes about the menu and then I said I was vegetarian... I had to throw my order into the mix to get him to stop.
The food is made fresh and for the most part in house! The perfect hangover food 😅
Sarah Smith
Nothing bad about this place. Super funky decor and music, nice local craft beer selection for lunch with a full bar opening at 5:00. Sandwiches were amazing, including the vegetarian Bellisimo (make it vegan and sub out the red pepper mayo for siracha) and the very non-vegetarian Gooch. You will definitely leave happier than when you came in!
Rebecca Anne
We stopped by here after a recommendation from the financing guy at the dealership when we bought our car. When we went the place was packed and we waited about 20 mins to get a table. The service was great and they kept us up to date on the timing and when a table would be ready. As soon as we sat down we had someone asking us what we wanted to drink. Thats rare for a busy place!
The sandwich menu is diverse and the food is great!! We will be back again!
Nick Cruser
DON'T GO, IT'S NO GOOD AND TOO CROWDED
Seriously though, so delicious, and every bite seems to have the perfect amount of every flavor involved. The Gooch may be one of the 3 or 4 best sandwiches I've eaten. Makes the switch from take-out-for-lunch to sit-down-to-dinner too. Friendly staff as well.
Debbie Johnson
Amazing sandwiches that take forever to make. Seating is hard to come by so be prepared to squish/make friends or get your food to go if you go during prime meal hours. Love the Buford T. Justice and the Waverider.
Dianna
The building itself is super small, so it felt crowded despite there being like a total of 30 people there. Other than that, it was great. The lighting is really low which is great for me because bright lighting kickstarts migraines, however my fiancé has night blindness and was squinting the whole time trying to see.
The food was great! Vegan chili soup was amazing!!! Im always super hesitant to try vegan food, but Im glad I went with it on this eatery. Seriously great food, and strong mixed drinks. I would say dont bother taking leftovers, though, the food spoils fast. We got it in the fridge right after dinner, but the next day it smelled so bad we just had to trash it.
Overall, we'd go again and we'd recommend it to our vegan friends! 🤗
L J
Best sandwich ever, totally worth the drive from Tacoma!
Michael
Wish I woukd have taken a picture... It was so good me my wife shared the BBQ chicken and a BBQ brisket sandwiches and OMG delicious the bread is more like a toasted hard bread but it was perfect for the sauce and sloppiness of the BBQ sauce. Great job guys I'll be back... And by the way my sister in law met us there she's a Vegan and they had some stuff for her too.
Anna M
It really is pretty good! The interior is awesome, and the service is friendly. It's wild sandwich shop that makes you feel comfortable inside. The Gooch really is remarkable, even if you're not a big meat fan.
Raphael Hernandez
No wait, bussin food. My man Hayes hooked us up.
Shataunna Enochson
One of the better sandwich places I've been to. Have been twice and might see me again. Need a better system with the line outside as people cut in front of you.
Vitou Mut
This is probably one of the best gourmet Burger place in town. I am not one to be persuaded into liking Burger. But, the Burger here is to die for. Fresh baked bread buns, fresh beef, fresh homade sauce. Really cool atmosphere too!
Alex Garmendia
I eat this sandwich a couple times a week. Solid. Consistent. Meaty. Good bread. I like the fast eddy the best. Sometimes with au jus sometimes with fries.
David Cruz
Nice looking place, good music, drinks and plenty of vegan options!
Rohit Thotakura
Best hot sandwich shop in Seattle. The Bandit is my go-to item here.
Kilani Paulik
Fantastic pineapple marg. They stopped serving 30 minutes before they close, FYI!
Nik Kinnaird
Very delicious sandwiches taken to go in eat in the park. Veggie with pesto had some kind of salty/savory substitute. The pulled BBQ pork was great as expected. Crusty, buttery baguette for both.
Dan
In town for a few days from Canada and saw the reviews on this place were good. Had dinner here. Yep, it's good. Would definitely recommend checking their sandwiches out.
Frank R.
Crazy good sandwiches--hot and cold. Good sides, too. Beer available.
Kristin Woods
Solid place for a heart-stopping sandwich. My local Seattle friends touted HoneyHole as one of their go-to places for reliable lunches and dinners, so I was pretty eager to try it. We came following a Thursday evening NFL game (as an East-Coaster, eating dinner after Thursday Night Football was super strange to me), and our group of 6 were seated right away. The place doesn't have that much seating, but it never felt too crowded or too cramped.
I split the Dude and the Fast Eddie with one of my buddies. The Dude consisted of flank steak, provolone, peppers, lettuce, mustard and mayo, which was good, but I actually didn't much care for the warmed lettuce in the sandwich. In the end, I preferred the Fast Eddie, which was thinly-sliced tri-tip steak, sautéed onions, pepper jack, sweet hot peppers, and aioli on a baguette. It's about $12 for a sandwich, but they do come with a whole mess of fries or a large side salad, so it's well worth it, in my opinion.
They have a small microbrew draft and wine selection, but given that they're only about $4.50 for a pint/glass, you can't really complain. The cocktails are also only about $6 each, and while they aren't high-end by any means, they are delicious and really get the job done.
Service was pretty attentive and friendly, although it did take us an inordinately long time to get our check in the end. Nonetheless, it was fine, because we were mostly catching up after having not seen other for awhile. They have a Sunday night special, which is $8 burger and fries, which ain't a bad deal. Also, apparently during the day, HoneyHole is more of a grab-and-go-type sandwich place for lunch hours, and then at night, they cover the menu board at night with a large black curtain, to make the place have more of a sit-down vibe. Not a bad idea. I'll definitely be back for a good sandwich and a brew next time I'm looking for something quick in the Cap Hill area.
Andy B
You are missing out if you don't get a sandwich here!! You can't go wrong...order any sammie on the menu and you will be satisfied...even better if you wash it down with a beer on tap.
Lana Bulanova
Literally THEE BEST sandwich place of all time ever. As much as I want to try all their sandwiches, I get the BLT every time because it’s the best BLT to be found anywhere. EVER. Prove me wrong I dare you!
Brian Burdett
Had the Fast Eddie with fries and couldn't finish the fries because the sandwich was so big - a good problem to have. Highly recommend to anyone! This is the best sandwich I've have in a loooooooong time.
Lucy Fenn
it's good. I ate a salad (seriously i needed it as i had been indulging in all of the big, beige and fried foods that are always so awesome in America(!) The service was fine and swift and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Cute off the beaten path spot.
Sarah Huntting
Excellent Sandwiches and local drinks.
Heads up that they are still requiring proof of vaccination for dine in.
Brisa Halviatti
I almost don't want to review this place because it's so good, and has been since I was in high school! Shh... don't tell more people otherwise it'll be even harder to get a table!
In all seriousness though, amazing fries, great sandwiches, but LOOOOOONG waits at times. Gets really crowded, but that's the capital hill way!
Sarah Draves
Sandwiches were really great, but it took 45 minutes to actually get them after ordering, so it was a very frustrating dining experience.
Casey Penk
They have the best sandwiches of anywhere. Came here several times and it's a great place to hit up on a Friday night. Lively, loud, fairly dark, and they have amazing vegetarian options for sandwiches.
Cameron Ruiz
Was craving a delicious sandwich to dip into au jus and this place delivered. Great bartender and nice menu for meat lovers and those who choose to abstain from meat. I want another sandwich from here soon.
Sallyann Corn
FAVORITE sandwich shop in Seattle. The french fries are the B E S T. This is our go-to spot for the most reliable, amazing sandwiches, fries, and cheap, cold beer. Can't rave about this place enough!
Madi Schulte
Wow. I now understand why Tony Soprano would order his sandwiches with extra peppers. The Fast Eddie sandwich, with the sweet peppers, is EXCELLENT. Bread had a perfect crunchy exterior and a soft interior, meat was tasty and great quality, fries were great.
Also had the Steak Salad, the small seemed pretty reasonable, and it was GRADE A. This isn't a whimpy salad. This is a heafty mutha, and they were liberal with the tasty blue cheese.
Water tasted a little off, which I could also taste in the fountain drink ($2.75).
Music was REALLY loud, I'm not usually one to complain.
Overall, kick-ass. Gotta come here and order a hot sandwich.
Bob Davis
Awesome food and beer, fun vibe and music
Savannah Drury
I've been here a handful of times and always good experiences. They have nice workers, it's a unique atmosphere, and the food never disappoints. They also have a great vegetarian/ vegan and gf selection.
Blair Ellsworth
The sandwiches are very generous in size, with respect to the meats they put on them. Very satisfying, lovely crunch. We found that one sandwich easily fed two people.
This was definitely a treat.
jonathan herrera
Go here for "The Gooch". It's basically a French Dip. While the other sandwiches are excellent, this one is worth traveling for. I get it everytime I visit seattle. The sides are also very good but almost unnecessary as the sandwiches are very filling already. Good beer selection and fun decor.
Anthony Bonney
The sandwiches are sooo good. Great beer list. Staff ridiculously friendly. Make this a must go if you're in the area
Priya Prabhakar
Emilio Pestevez is my go to. Consistently delicious sandwiches…especially if you need a carby pick me up!
Adam Wozney
The food was awesome. The dude with dreads behind the counter was a jerk. He literarily never said a word to me. He took my order, gave me a receipt, and looked past me to the next customer. Go there for the tasty sandwiches, not the service.
Raghava Govil
Best dipping sauces ever! HAYES
Omar Tirhi
Fantastic sandwiches at a fair price. The texas tease and the fast Eddie are both really good. Will for sure eat here when I'm in the area.
Gabby C
Love that it has vegan options that are filling and tasty! Service was fantastic, staff were helpful and made sure I enjoyed my food. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city who wants to try an affordable and unique place to eat that isn’t too touristy.
Olivia Zircon
Spencer provided great drinks and service
Rohan Somers
The best pastrami sandwich I've even had. Thick smoked meat on the perfect beard, ooh wee. Went two days in a row and tried different sandwiches, just the best.
Seth T
Great sandwiches. Some good vegetarian options as well. I consider this place a great local hangout for drinks and food. later in the evening this place is more of a bar than a sandwich shop. Good happy hour specials as well.
Mark Rietveld
We got sandwiches to go. They tasted great. We waited about half an hour for 2 sandwiches. We were prepared for the wait because of the reviews, so it turned out great.
Django “Jirou”
They make a good sandwich. They really know how to prepare beef. I go here about once every 2 months. The décor is nice but cramped service is good.
Mowgli
My favorite local sandwich shop, bartenders and staff are always super friendly. The sandwiches are amazing, I've tried almost everything on the menu.
Bud Cashatt
One of the best sandwiches you will have ever! The Texas BBQ toasted sandwich will keep you coming back. The tuna melt is also one of my favorites.
Lynx Cheam
A wonderful little treasure that offers a better ratio of food quantity to dollar
Mark Cooley
Best sandwich in the city. Period. Been going for 10 years, always consistent. Avoid the lunch crowd and check out the evening vibe.
Gregory Zak
This place is usually packed, and for good reason! I've ordered a wider variety of menu items from this place than from almost any other restaurant, and I've yet to have a sandwich from them that disappoints.
Jeffrey Zheng
Creative sandwich options. Their prices have gone up and I've had a couple sandwiches that were a bit too dry for my taste.
Taylor Hale
Unbelievably tasty sandwich and outstanding friendly service! Yummmm
Andrew Hochberg
When you go there order two sandwiches: the one that you want to eat and the Corleone. Eat the sandwich that you ordered for lunch and take the Corleone home. Throw it in the fridge. You'll find that it is much more delicious when eaten cold than warm and the smoked pastrami flavor is very much dominant in the sandwich whereas that smoky flavor is minimally detectable when eating hot. So by all means go to the honey hole and get the Corleone as your second sandwich.
Rhonyea Taylor-Craig
Good food and staff, especially the bartender Dennis.
Nate Fischer
LOVE! The flank steak salad with ranch dressing is delicious. I keep going back to this place. It’s a big problem that I love so close! I can’t stop going there.
Michelle Rau
So. Good. The horseradish aioli on the Gooch singed my nosehairs but the au jus came to the rescue. The ranch dressing here is out of this world. Beyond that, the decor is on point but it gets way busy and the quarters are tight. I think it's best for lunch with only a couple of your favorite friends so everyone can get a seat comfortably.
Kesh Karan
Awesome, flavorful burgers and sandwiches. Try their BLTA..delish!
