Reviews of Goldfinch Tavern
Misha Averill
Great brunch location! Bonus: Bottomless mimosas - they have cranberry, orange, grapefruit and pineapple. Food was phenomenal! We did the 3 course brunch (Priced with the mimosa- $65)! You pick an app, a main dish and they bring your dessert trio! Everything was so tasty and looked well made! Presentation of the desserts were so cute and so yummy! Definitely recommend for Brunch! (Note: There is a 20% gratuity automatically added to your tab - not entirely bad, because food and service were both good!).
Parking - use the Valet service. It is on-site and cheaper than surrounding pay lots. For the time we spent eating, parking only cost $17. And they can add it to you bill when you pay for your meal!
Service was great! They kept the mimosas coming!!

Went for brunch on New Year's eve. They gave us the best treatment and even went above and beyond. Our bartender Rico was amazing and took care of every tiny detail for us. The food was good, they can do better like the Crab Benedict was really pungent. Still would highly recommend for breakfast or just hangout at the bar for a drink with the amazing service.

Had been coming here for years off and on since the Art restaurant! Came back here for holiday brunch and we all are not so happy with the Goldfinch! Reservations at 11:45 am didn't get sat till around 12:15 or so. The host did not assist our chairs or place napkins on our laps. No eye contact or name was addressed. After we sat, took forever for the server to even come by to greet us and get our mimosas in. We ordered 4 dishes took close to 1 hour and 10 mins to arrive. The server barely check in on us to see if we wanted more beverages. The check dropped off without asking us if we want additional drinks. 20% service fee automatically charges to our bill which the service was so poor that we don't think is fair to charge the 20%. On top of that valet is $50 no matter how many hours, zero assistance with opening my car door. Also, there wasn't a doorman. I have to help myself with the heavy door to the hotel. Four Seasons doesn't live up to its brand, such unsatisfactory service. This location does not deserve to have 5 stars recognition.
Likely we will not return unless significant improvement.
Not worth the buck for its value. Shame on Four Seasons to replace the Art with something less luxurious, and poor quality.

Restaurant is located in the Four Seasons hotel- nice views of the pier/Ferris wheel. Went at 7pm on a Tuesday and had no issue getting a table (no wait time, but recommend making reservations in advance since that May not always be the case)
Food & drinks were pretty good
The service was phenomenal (this was probably my favorite part of it all)
The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because it is pretty pricey for what it is. We spent ~$110 per person (two entrees, two sides, two drinks, 1 dessert)
*pay attention to the service charge on your receipt

We went there for dinner after landing in Seattle and visiting downtown. The food itself was quite good and the service nice but it was way too expensive for what we had (190usd for 2 people: 1 starter, 2 dishes, 2 ciders). I guess it's because it's in a luxurious hotel but I'm sure you can get better value somewhere else.

Spectacular Mother’s Day Brunch! We loved the appetizer bar, the entrees and desserts. We had a party of 9 and all of our needs were met. Pretty much a perfect meal 😍 Special shoutout to Kelly Chin who provided great service and made sure we were well taken care of 🥰 We will be back. …

Wonderful service. We went there for our anniversary brunch and it was amazing. Food can be a little bit more tastier but the rest was perfect.

Masterful culinary prowess.
I invited 7 guests to dinner at Goldfinch’s last weekend. Our experience was 5 Stars across the board. From our server’s care and attentiveness to the delicious cuisine, Goldfinch Tavern just knocks it out of the park.
Each expertly crafted plate presented to our table was absolutely delicious and simply could not have been better. I’m a big fan of very high quality lamb that is well prepared, so I ordered their heirloom tomato crusted lamb chops with basil goat cheese whipped potato and ratatouille. Quite possibly the very best lamb chops I have ever enjoyed. Ever.
If you haven’t been to Goldfinch Tavern it’s a must. I greatly look forward to returning! Cheers!!
Pro Tips:
• Try their Applewood Smoked Manhattan.
• Make reservations well in advance.
• Ask server for any chef special dishes/recommendations.
• Book a room at The Four Seasons and stay the night :)

Had such a great experience here for lunch. There was no wait at all which was nice. Staff all around were extremely helpful. The table behind us were clearly friends catching up and kept forgetting to look at their menus for almost 30 minutes but the waitress was very understanding and didn't push them at all. That waitress was also ours and was very attentive and friendly. Wish I could remember her name! We did some very simple sandwiches but they were great. Their fries and aioli were my favorite part! Definitely a little more pricey than I would typically do for lunch but would still definitely return.

Visited here for Sunday brunch. It's located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. The brunch is a set menu and you order from each section. Appetizer, main meal and dessert. Unlimited Mimosa alcohol drinks. The portions were somewhat small and the service was friendly, but slow. It took a long time for the food to arrive at the table and to get the bill. The cost per person was $65.
Janelle Syren
Sorry that I don't have pics of the food itself ~ it was allll eaten before we even thought of snapping any! At least my friend remembered to take a pic of two of the coktails ~ both were delicious!
My entire party enjoyed every last bite ~ it's expensive as hell, yet definitely worth it! Totally recommend.
Maria Patricia Johnson
We love celebrating birthdays and anniversaries! And this is where we go! Thanks so much to Mattea for going above and beyond. We truly appreciate the care you showed us today. As for the pineapple, cranberry, and grapefruit mimosas, they were extra special. Our faves today were the crab Benedict, beet and crab salad, the dessert trio, and the views and ambiance, of course! We can’t wait to celebrate here again!
Jenn HV
Yummy brunch, will need to come back for the 3 course brunch with unlimited mimosas! Make a reservation before going.

Traveled to Seattle from Minneapolis for an event and the most memorable part of the experience was my time with Carlos at Goldfinch! He was attentive, kind, and went out of his way to make our experience unforgettable. Ask for Carlos when you visit, you will be amazing and genuinely cared for!
Jaewook J
The weekend brunch was very worth the experience. $59 per person (not including gratuity and tax), each person gets a choice of one appetizer, one entree, and selected trio of desserts. You can taste the higher quality and freshness from the food. The desserts were very well made and could recognize the care they put in. They are rotated, so not fixed with same desserts, but the lemon pudding we had...was really delicious.
Bottomless mimosa. So much mimosa..(drink responsibly).
The inside of the restaurant was pleasant, spacious, and felt very light. Enjoyable and quiet for Sunday morning brunch. Large windows looking out to the waterfront brings in a lot of natural light, and was enjoyable to look to outside scene as you are dining. The staff were attentive, courteous, and we were served well.
Amir Shevat
We had a lot of fun here. Super friendly service, great starters, and desserts.
Samantha Elle
Went on the weekend for the bottomless mimosa option with the 3 course meal. The food was good. Portions are small. A friend ordered the crab cake entree and got 1 crab cake about .5in thick and 3in in diameter.
It was a group of 9 of us and we had a reservation. The restaurant called us ahead of time and asked if we wanted to put appetizers in. We clarified if these were the appetizers that came with each of our meals or if it was extra. They said it came with our reservation group size. Then they tried to charge us for them at the end of the meal. They took them off our bill but very confusing. We felt bad but it was $200 extra in appetizers they told us were free given how many people we have..
Also if you have food allergies I wouldn't suggest eating here or make sure the person on the telephone speaks with the kitchen. My friend has a severe egg allergy and she called ahead. The front desk person was convinced she could eat the French toast! They were not aware French toast regularly had egg in it till they check with the kitchen and they would not believe my friend.
Pics of the mushroom egg entree and the chowder appetizer.
Chuck Nordhoff
The honey smoked salmon was to die for! The roasted beets were excellent, as was the cauliflower side dish. The only detractors were the prawns on the salad, which were way over-salted. From the bar, the Vesper was magnificent. Service was impeccable. We ate early, so the vibe was sparse -- although there was live music in the bar. Prices were what you would expect at the Four Seasons.
JC
Had a tasty breakfast high above Pike Market. Coffee was so flavorful as was the entire meal. Wait staff was on point.
Susan Zurek
The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. We celebrated a birthday and they made it very special.
Kevin Lyons
Great staff & service. Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch!
Elijah Hull
Cassie was the best waitress that I’ve had the pleasure of being served by in a long time. It was my anniversary and she was so friendly and accommodating, it completely made our evening! Also the food was amazing, this place isn’t just for hotel guests!
Yvette van Loon
It was nice but I wasn't overwhelmed by it. Service is very good.
Kayl Parker
Wonderful spot to enjoy lunch with a view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Carla at the bar was a joy. The Salmon Caesar Salad & Seattle Club were delicious. And don’t get me started on the tiramisu!
Kolby Goodnoe
Staff is phenomenal. Service is amazing. Food is tasty.
Appetizers:
Half Dozen Local Oysters - 5/5
Beet and Crab Salad - 5/5
Entrées:
Crab Benedict - 5/5
Smoked and Peppered Corn Beef - 5/5
Chef Danielle's Dessert Trio:
Chai Tea Tres Leches - 5/5

Beautiful restaurant, came here for Saturday brunch. Food is delicious. The dessert trio is absolute genius. You get three tasty dessert samples. Amazing. All the Benedict's are very delicious. The crab and beet salad is a must order. Super light and refreshing. Service is phenomenal.
Brenna Lyden
Stayed here and let me tell you, the service from Carlos was ELITE. Made the perfect mimosa, so accommodating, even answered questions pertaining to our trip that had nothing to do with our meal. Also recommended taking our espresso martinis to the room to sip. Thanks, Carlos!

First time. Went to see a familiar musician. Classic service thst is missing from the majority of venues. Great menu featuring Northwest cuisine. We will definitely come back.
Aga K
Okay, I'm a big brunch fan. And seafood. I could live off seafood. Went here for brunch for the first time, and I'll be back. For $55 you get seafood appetizers, soups and much more. Along with an entree and a dessert bar. Food was fantastic. I ordered the crab cake for my entree. Also, you get bottomless mimosas, so if you like to enjoy your brunch with a side of booze this is a place for you. The crab cocktail, shrimp, oysters - all fantastic.
JP
Came for Christmas Brunch with appetizers buffet, your choice of entree and bottomless mimosas. The quality of the food, service and value of this restaurant is literally the best I've had the pleasure of experiencing in a very, very long time. To top it off, the views of Elliott Bay and the waterfront makes this dining experience a must for anyone visiting Seattle. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Their food, ambience, service is great.
Hyunseok Gil
Unbeatable service. Nice food for money. The iron steak was bit smelly that something i haven't had in none of Steak houses in Seattle. However, the serve didn't allow us to keep that and immediately offered a different dish. My overall experience was 5 star.
Chris McQuillan
Nice space for a hotel restaurant. Service bwas on the slow side, but not terrible. Food was very good, but $70 for the steak we had wasn't worth it.
Lauren Stoecker
Everything about my experience was just phenomenal. We did the "trust the chef" option for a culinary surprise of multiple dishes and boy did I make the right choice for our early Valentine's night. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back!
CA Gray
The Goldfinch Tavern in the Four Seasons, Seattle has great views of the Sound and Great Wheel. The food is top-notch. The beet, Dungeness & watercress salad was, bar none, the best I've ever had - and I've had dozens at all the best spots in town.
The oysters were sweet, briny, and expertly shucked. I'll definitely go back for the petit filet! The cocktails were ok. I expected a little better; a bit more balanced. But the effort in crafting inspired, original cocktails was there. The wine & spirits lists are extensive.
The service is all you could ever hope for. Flawless. The ambiance is romantic and lux, with muted lighting and fresh flowers and candles on every table. The decor is the perfect balance of modernity & classic sophisticate.
Parking is easy if you're a guest of the hotel. They offer valet, for diners & guests alike, and I always use it. Highly recommend. Otherwise you can self-park under the hotel for between $20 and $50, depending onthe length of your stay.
George Forgan-Smith
The food here is fantastic. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast while staying at The Four Seasons hotel.
Prices are expensive. Service was generally good, I did have one server who did not appear to be in the mood for their day at work.
Given the price and the automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill I'd expect consistently good service.
Trevor Park
This has now become my new spot to take clients and have work meetings. Absolutely incredible service and love the fact that the staff all address you by name here. Very impressive and thoughtful.
Price point is definitely on the higher end but as to be expected for a restaurant at the Four Seasons.
Great selection of cocktails and the food options are really great.
Get a spot near the window to enjoy some of the incredible views they have to offer as well.
Gene
Had the salmon arugula salad. Yummy, great atmosphere, and service. Also enjoyed a cherry mule as a celebratory libation to gain the favor from the end of the work day gods lol
Summer M
The best breakfast I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE! The salmon was fresh, my boyfriends pancakes were divine, and the service was very sincere and truly pleasant. You have wonderful views of the sound whilst you dine and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
Carolyn Smith
a hotel restaurant worth recommending! We enjoyed brunch immensely. There were many menu items plus a buffet option. They accommodated groups of 8+ and singles perfectly. Good for groups, romantic spot for two, good for treat yourself to a me-date, haven from the market hustle, and Four Seasons service. As I made a reservation, they referred to me as Ms. Smith for the whole experience; which we need more of in Seattle.

What an amazing experience dining at this beautifully furnished Goldfinch Tavern that is part of luxurious address in Seattle! From exterior appeal to interior furnishings, there is an attention to detail at this four seasons address.
Our impromptu lunch at noon by the window table with a view of Elliott Bay, Seattle Wheel, Seattle stem plant🤣 with autumn sun through window was amazing. Shigoku Oysters, 🥖 with olives, butter and olive oil, signature goldfinch seafood chowder, creamy burrata salad and seared scallops was superb. Benjamin paid attention to our birthday lunch conversations and wished me happy birthday with a surprise chocolates and macaroons treat. I was so happy I one decided to sing! We topped special lunch with excellent coffee and cappuccino.
Thanks to J P Morgan Chase for a special birthday treat. Of course the private client banker who made this experience a memorable one. Thank you.
Now, that’s a way to kick off birthday week Chase!
Yuval K
Great four seasons restaurant. As you'd expect the service is superb. Great bar, nice design with large fire place between the bar and tables. Great sea view. Food was very good with unique dishes but also expected NY strip. Great dessert and coffee.
Josh happy frog
Just had new years dinner and a small miss step, but management and staff fixed everything and made for a wonderful night. Will definitely return because of the way things were handled
Vivian Ramirez
Great brunch experience. Bottomless mimosas as 3 course brunch experience. Granted the brunch entree is a little
Small they compensate by giving you the dessert trio. Calming atmosphere and great service. Good food.
Jeremiah Wibowo
Great place, with great view. The front host need’s more training i guess. But service are excellent, food are fantastic. If you are a tourist, please pay attention with the detailed explained on the bottom of the check.
Camilo Moreno-Salamanca
Highly recommended and worth every penny. All the staff, from the restaurant hosts to the waiting staff were attentive, conversational, and helpful with their suggestions. They made a great dinner a truly memorable one.
The vibe is a good mix of cozy and scenic as you can get some nice views of the Sound from its large windows.
Most importantly, the food is fantastic. We had the salmon and the halibut and you can't really go wrong with either of them. The execution of the dishes shows a high degree of pride in their cooking.
I look forward to coming back here.
Allan Cheow
Great place in the Four Seasons. Very delicious food and the staff here is amazing. Attentive and they were very accommodating with my wife's vegetarian needs.
Avery Watkins
Great experience and service. Would have like a few more vegetarian options on the brunch menu.
Celin Joseph
Went with friends for a brunch.pretty good service and loved their French toast, crab cake and oysters.
S K
We had breakfast here after the other locations we chose to visit were too busy. The avocado toast was incredibly delicious. Service was great, too. Obviously an expensive place to eat, but the experience was on par with the cost.
Phoenix Li
Love all the dishes and will definitely visit again. Kids family friendly upscale restaurant is hard to find. This place is great.
Jack Strubbe
The rosemary encrusted lamb at Sunset Supper was the best thing I had all evening! As a chef myself, and a Pike Place Market artisan, I would consider that a high compliment. Thank you for supporting the market.
F. Pappas
Rhubarb bruschetta, Goldfinch chowder and free-range jidori chicken are all insanely good. Service top notch. One of the best meals in Seattle. Definitely a worthwhile experience.
M G
I've been to a lot of nice restaurants in Seattle and haven't good service in a while. Goldfinch had the best service and food plus bottomless mimosas. Great place
Bailey Orozco
Been here a handful of times for brunch, all great experiences except the last time. There was an Earwig (insect) in our salad and I immediately told our server, he took the plate and pretended nothing happened. I spoke with Wesley, the manager at the time and brought the situation to his attention. It was the principle that bothered me, no apology, like nothing happened. Wesley comp’ed the whole bill and even offered us champagne on the house. Way to represent The Four Seasons name. Highly recommend!
Oxana Brik
Amazing experience! Happy hour menu items really satisfied our tastebuds, will definitely be back! Loved it!
Hong Wang
Reserved dinner with daughters. Cheesecake is the best food.
Julia Walsh
I was so looking forward to this meal as it gets great reviews. I knew it was expensive going in, but I figured it must be worth it, right? I’ll start with the pros: great service, beautiful decor, and cool view of the water. The cons: waaaayyy overpriced for what you get. The food was tasty and fresh, but the portions were small and you don’t even get bread included (we paid $7 for 4 olives and 6 tiny slices of so-so bread). The (free!) bread we got that day for lunch at a chain restaurant was 10 times better, to give you some context.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you are staying at the four seasons hotel and don’t want to leave the property. Otherwise save a lot of money and go to any one of the other dozens of great Seattle restaurants nearby.
bo
The food was good, service was nice but slow, had the Northwest Hash which should have been called Pea Hash. Also, the hash, coffee & O.J. was $43. Sweet baby Jesus.
Theresa Yoong
Great food & decent coffee. Not too sure about the service. The place was empty but the server was in a rush to clear our plates and gave us the bill even though we didn’t call for it.
Brian Hardin
Celebrated 1 year anniversary and they made it memorable! The chef was Amazing I had the the special which was copper river king salmon with a lobster and crab mix on top mixed with asparagus and broccollini. And My wife had lamb and rattallioue. Food service drinks were amazing!
Jessica Schule
We recently had a birthday celebration here. Smart casual is subject to the group, some came dressed up others came casual. The food and drink was amazing. Their smoked cocktails are very tasty. Do not leave without ordering the bourbon chocolate pecan pie.
Restaurants_us
Cozy place with a beautiful water view.
Mark Concannon
Views, impeccable service and delicious food. What else can you want? Good drinks, great wine list? They have them!
Jared Edwards
The best brunch in Seattle! Bottomless mimosas, SAY NO MORE!
Buffet for sides. Excellent entrees. And great mimosas all for $50!!
Jennifer Williams
Such great service and food! Our server was so gracious about everything!
Diana Zheng
Disappointing, not worth the cost.
Visited Goldfinch Tavern with a group of five for a 7:30PM dinner. Restaurant wasn't too busy for a Sunday night, which baffles me as to why service was so slow. Given the location at the Four Seasons Hotel and price point of the restaurant, I expected a lot more. Don't forget there's a 20% gratuity automatically applied to your bill.
Drinks & Food: Purple Rain cocktail was delicious, the others (like Cranberry Addams) were underwhelming. Tasted like a simple G&T for $19.
The only dish I'd recommend is the bruschetta although it's small. The semolina baguette was dry and butter didn't have much taste. Bucatini pasta was very odd tasting - almost too al dente and chalky.
There are much better restaurants like Eden Hill to try instead for this price.
Katie Harrison
I was having difficulty making a lunch reservation for a group of residents from our retirement community. They were about to cancel their plans when Carrianne called and apologized for the back and forth with calls. She said they would accommodate our group even with the last minute request. Our residents were able to dine in the lovely restaurant and have a great time together. With the last couple of years being extremely isolating for all of us, especially seniors, it’s outings like these that lift spirits! Thanks Carrianne and Goldfinch! :)
Alex Durso
Great service with a nice but not pretentious setting. Food is of good quality but didn’t quite meet my expectations at this price point.
-The beetroot appetiser was excellent
-The individual items on the octopus dish (including artichokes) were cooked well and tasted great in isolation but I felt that the dish did not work as a whole
-King crab spaghetti was tasty if slightly too oily for my taste
-Good wine selection
-Really excellent and attentive service without being overbearing
-Central and convenient location
Note: Edited to provide clarity.

My wife and I were invited back to Goldfinch Tavern after our first experience missed the mark. We were blown away on our return visit. The ambiance was stunning, the service was attentive, but not overbearing, and the food was delicious. We had the fritters, burrata, oysters, duck ragu rigatoni, salmon, and the chocolate pecan pie for dessert.
Each dish was spectacular. The fritters were light and fluffy, the burrata had a nice red pepper sauce, the oysters were fresh and came with a whimsical shaved-ice flavored with rhubarb, the salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the duck rigatoni was delectable, and the chocolate pecan pie was perfect for two.
The icing on the cake was the service, which was both professional and warm. Thank you, Goldfinch Tavern!
Brad Wuerer
Well I tried calling three times to make a reservation for brunch. I called again this evening and tried to make a reservation. I was told they were too busy to call me back. I went on to day I was assured a phone call when they opened at 4:30pm. She said I was not going to get a call back and maybe I would get one tomorrow. Obviously I could not wait that long for a hopeful call back so we made reservations elsewhere. Deeply disappointed I expected more from them.
Talked to the GM he was sincerely sorry for the experience and invited me to make another reservation which I plan on doing.

We had a great experience while having a Thanksgiving getaway. We ate lunch at the Goldfinch and had a couple of cocktails and some wine. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great and we enjoyed our time there, so much so that we went back the next day for dinner. Great experience and we’ll be back there next time we are in Seattle.
David Blue
The food, the view, the service. Everything was impeccable. The manager made my anniversary even more enjoyable. Looking forward to my next meal at the goldfinch next time i'm in Seattle.
J Z
Very friendly and professional staff with a nice ambiance and good food.
The 20% automatic surcharge is a bit excessive as I would have tipped generously without this obligatory fee. I still left a tip on top of this fee; however, I am not in favor of compulsory tips for services not yet rendered and which may or may not have been satisfactory. Luckily the service was on point and the meal was well worth the visit.
Owen Hael
They take tap-to-pay (Apple/Google pay) etc if you ask extremely nicely.
Ava Alamdari
Food was great but very poor service, especially given the automatic 20% gratuity. We were not checked on at all during the course of our brunch, had to call down another server to get more champagne for "bottomless" mimosas (we had 2 bottles for a party of 7). General poor attitude which was unfortunate.
Rolland Many
Food was ok, not my type of Restaurant!! Better value elsewhere
Kyle Cline
Excellent place for a meal, breakfast is my favorite here. I have done breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, they’re all done very well. Atmosphere is cool and 4 seasons staff customer service is fantastic. As I always say, Take the other bad reviews a heavy grain of salt. Most of them are victims and whiners…. I mean in some of the reviews who the hell complains about price when you knew the cost going in there and then says the food is bad….? Anyways I highly recommend the place!
Jack Chessmore
Tremendous brunch at an excellent price point- Carlos was the best service in all of Seattle. Will visit any Four Seasons he works at.
Diana Popa
Loved the food, the coffees, the view and the staff. On top of that, prices were decent for thia type of restaurant.
Craig Terjeson
Excellent food, not cheap. The service was exceptional!
Patrick Conlan
Great food, they even have a healthy options menu.
Cameron Stark
The service doesn’t match the price being paid. Our party came in, and waited nearly five minutes to be greeted, upon placing our drink order, we again waited for the server to come back for appetizers, because of the delay, we decided to just get entrees. Again, we waited for water refills, and a second round of drinks to be ordered. Once the entrees arrived, our server disappeared again, and finally someone else came around to freshen our waters. After finishing our entrees, the server dropped the check without asking about dessert, so we paid, and continued to talk, while again being ignored by the staff. After awhile, the server came over and basically told us that security was closing the restaurant, so we had to leave, then he grabbed the check and disappeared. We gathered our things and found a bar down the street to satiate our dessert craving, and keep our whistles whet. I don’t recommend this place if you are dining in a group.
Geoffrey Parkford
The martini with an orchid encased within was the best part!
Stephenie Swope (Epiphenie)
The food and drinks were amazing. The service was top-notch. The ambiance was nice, but I wish the view were better. If so, it would be perfect.
My fiancé took one look at the menu and balked. I enjoy fine dining, but it’s not his preference. However, everything that we ate was delicious. After we left, he was really excited and started talking about when we could return.
We had delicious bruschetta for an appetizer. It was creamy, rich, sweet, and tart. Our second appetizer was a crudo. It was citrusy and fresh. For dinner, we had scallops, which were delicious and cooked properly. The only improvement I would recommend for them is if they were seared a little more. We also had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked. For our sides, we had the lobster mashed potatoes. They were very smooth and creamy and the salt was just right. The asparagus side was crisp-tender and seasoned well. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and cheesecake. The cake was dense and moist, and very chocolaty. The crust on the cheesecake was salty and balanced. The cheesecake was creamy and delicious. The decorations were delicate and beautiful.
The bill for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts was around $250, including the service fee. (Standard 20% for Ethan Stowell restaurants)
We would definitely go back.

Service is phenomenal. I had the herb crusted chicken and was impressed by it. A tad on the salty side, but just a tad. Tasted great, very healthily prepared, excellent balance of flavors. The drink I was good, but definitely give their drink menu a once over because there are some definite diamonds in the rough on there! Again service was great, Jon is the best. I liked the view but didn't think it was spectacular
crystal yamasaki
Great service and ambiance. Went here for Restaurant Week and loved the pre fixe!
Cynthia Lepore
Had an amazing dinner here. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. Had a lot of flavor and was just enough to start the meal off right. The chicken was *really* good, flavorful and juicy. Probably some of the best chicken I've ever had! Salmon was very tasty, "legit wild salmon"! Went for a birthday so they brought out chocolate and macaroons. Service and ambiance was amazing. Highly recommend and will be back soon.
Michael Macnab
Really great stuff, really great View, really great food. Highly recommend the salad and the Ragu pasta. The bar side is a little bit distracting. Ask to sit on the restaurant side next to the window for the best experience
Jay “JP” P
Very good food and service. Loved it! The pecan pie dessert was amazing! So we're the brussel sprouts. The bisteccca was delicious. As well as the salad.
Sweta Panda
Food was quite average for the price you pay especially when compared to restaurants of the same category. The view however is just too good and tries a lot to make up for the food. We had gone for dinner and ordered charred peaches which was alright. The roasted mushrooms were just good but didn't lift us up. For entrée, we ordered the lamb ragu pasta and another vegetable pasta. The lamb ragu was quite greasy and the vegetable one didn't have enough seasoning. It was my boyfriend's birthday so they came with a surprise candle with our dessert- Tiramisu which again I don't think could rank in the top 10 Tiramisu of the town.
Al Hankins
Turkey panini & fries were absolutely amazing although the amount of fries was equal to a small fry from any fast food, they were the best fries I've ever had. I would go here just for the fries if I lived closer. The drinks were a little weak but still good. The taste of the fries made this a 5 star instead of 4 star. I'll definitely consider visiting this place again when in Seattle.
Christine Kim
Got "trust the chef", was not disappointed! Everything was excellent!
Madeline Haglund
The ambiance is stellar, not to mention the food, but what was really superb was the service. My waiter was Jonny and he was extremely attentive and made my experience one to remember. I love Ethan Stowell restaurants but this one has to be my favorite. Valet was also very quick and easy and polite. I can’t wait to return!
Pete P
Even during Covid they have managed a good level of service! Their bar is a great place for drinks and a bite.
Jericho Perez
An amazing place for a fancy night out. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is devine and the food is delicious. Reasonably priced for the experience though it does carry a fairly sizable price tag when compared cheap traditional restaurants. Only been once and already in my top 5 places to eat.
David Lorengo
Order a few drinks, craft brews, and lunch, you won't be disappointed. Until the check comes.
Tauvia Blue
Food took long to come out but fresh and good

My family and I had a lovely lunch at Goldfinch tavern today. Kelly was our server and she both attentive and friendly. David, the manager also stopped to say hello and check on our experience. The food was well cooked and served at the perfect temperature. I would recommend leaving room for dessert as the triple chocolate ganache cake was delicious.
Rebecca McGinn
Very good brunch place! An entire brunch, including unlimited mimosas, is well priced! The staff is attentive and courteous. We had a blast here. They even had tiny buffet desserts and appetizers. Brulee's and tiny souffle dishes. Well laid out and a quiet environment.
Michelle Lee
I went here for a special dinner with my daughter and it was a wonderful experience. Excellent service from our waiter, Reuben, and amazing food. The tiramisu and the ice creams were exceptional treats.
Katherine Bergam
Our waiter went above and beyond. It was my daughter's bridal shower and had her made a special desert plate that said congratulations written in chocolate. He took a wonderful picture of our group to remember the occasion. Then as we were leaving he gave us several to go boxes and told us to stop at the desert buffet and fill them up to take home, free of charge! This is an awesome restaurant and I will return.
Zuzana Bodikova
We love this restaurant and bar. Beautiful view, very thoughtful serving staff, food is always excellent, and cocktails imaginative. Respectable wine list and a few draft beers that never disappoint round up the pleasant experience. Today they even had a live music - Spanish guitarist. Perfect as always!
Barbara Porter
Our server, Sarah was top of the line. The top. Was so bright that people facing west could only see the silhouetted shapes of those across the table. The food was tasty. The drinks were spare and expensive. It's a lovely spot though and it is a nice addition to get a free truffle at Fran's when we left.
David Wang
The brunch buffet is excellent. Small, upscale food in the buffet AND you can take one of their entrees home with you! I took home the entire steak dish which was probably worth like $20. I do wish they had a cheaper version which did not include bottomless mimosas, however, and that coffee/tea were included in the $49 for brunch.
Prove It
Amazing! Great drinks and better atmosphere. Try the espresso martini
Caleb Burbey
Goldfinch Tavern is a warm, welcoming spot while still giving off a luxury air. The food was well put together and seasoned perfectly; local ingredients were used at every chance. Prices were reasonable, taking into account that this is a luxury property. Chris was very attentive!
Sarah Clawson
The roasted chicken with gnocchi was the best version (of both) that I've ever had. Seasoned perfectly.
Armando Martínez
Superb service, excellent! The smoked salmon eggs benedict where delicious. Capuchino was lovely as well. A great view of the Seattle wheel. Did I mention great service? 😅
Freddy Hernandez
Great for brunch. $65 per person will get you bottomless mimosas and a three course meal with a view.
Jacob Schmitt
We had a large group staying at the Four Seasons for a meeting. On the first night, our group had a large reception/dinner at the Goldfinch Tavern. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Sometimes when you eat with a large group, both suffer. This wasn't the case with our experience. I returned to have lunch with my family and had great service from Tom. Our meal was great and Chef Manu stopped by our table to chat. The Four Seasons is lucky to have such a wonderful chef on board.
Brittany Lovely
The brunch special was great. My bottomless mimosas were always full and the service was prompt and friendly. Great atmosphere for a morning Valentine's date.
aliyah a
Service was excellent but food and drinks are overpriced. Mimosas were good and didn't give me a headache but definitely not worth $13 each. 2 orders of the lemon blueberry pancakes (no sides included), 2 mimosas, 1 coffee and 1 tea was $88.
Tricia Allen
Love this place for both lunch and dinner. Had lunch with my book club group before a day at the Museum.
Then a few weeks later my boss flew internationally to meet with me. She loved the view, setting and food!! She went back again before she left Seattle.
Ben
Goldfinch Tavern is an excellent Seattle find. Part of the Ethan Stowell restaurant offerings, Goldfinch Tavern is located in the ground floor of the Seattle Four Seasons hotel. This restaurant features elegant mid-century modern ambiance with an excellent variety of Northwest style American fare. Don't be discouraged and assume that this is simply another hotel restaurant, as it is one of the best restaurants in the downtown/business district. The interior decor of the dining area is beautifully crafted with hardwood covering the walls and mellow but sufficient lighting. The noise level is surprisingly low for an open concept dining room. Portrait windows line the west wall of the restaurant and provide an excellent view of the waterfront. My visit was for the Valentines holiday, where a special four course menu was served, with an optional wine pairing menu as well. The service was superb with continuous visits to the table and a perfect interval of service between each course. All tables were elegantly decorated for the occasion. Goldfinch Tavern is a great spot for an upscale dinner in the city.
Bill Dauben
Check I to the four seasons hotel a little early and my room wasn’t quite ready. I walked over to meet a friend here in the Goldfinch Tavern.
My friend immediately recommended the Applewood Smoked Manhattan. Wow was that a great recommendation. When she brings it out it has a class cap that is filled with smoke. As she raises it off of the drink the smoke rolls out of the glass with such an unbelievable smell. I just wish I could upload a video. Oh not to mention the incredible taste of the drink itself.
Also ordered the burger which was full of flavor but unfortunately the drink was the hit of the visit.
Service was excellent as you would expect at a place of this caliber. Highly recommend
sable bloom
Loved the clams and mussels! Attentive staff and beautiful views.
momo
I came to Goldfinch for lunch with a friend. Here are the following things I would definitely return for:
- impeccable service
- lady guava beverage
- grilled salmon salad
- dungeness crab roll
The view of the Puget Sound is nice. The seafood here is fresh and the portions are generous. It's worth the price and visit.
Alan Drake
This place is fantastic! Brunch or dinner both have been a great experience. If you are looking for upscale at a reasonable price. I would say give this beautiful view a chance. I had the lamb osso bucco and it was perfectly cooked. The side dishes were delicious. The only thing that would have one me over was a low carb sugar free dessert option.
Jeramy Utara
Great views and ambiance. The room and bar area are very nice with a good selection of drinks and food.
Service is sometimes a little slow as they get very busy, but it isn't that bad. Prices are, of course, high (it's the Four Seasons), but great spot.
Gina Fleck
We did the 4-course chef's tasting menu and it was fantastic! Great amount of food and priced appropriately for the amount and quality of the food. Also, our server was absolutely wonderful, gracious and efficient.
Braden
Had the Chef's Table (tasting menu) with some friends. Pretty cool! The head Chef was in and each table got a different 4 course meal. The wait staff doesn't even know what is coming out. Head Chef was delivering the dishes himself and we shook his hand at end of meal. They were also very accommodating with the group's allergies.
Sheila Collins
In 2017 I enjoyed a spectacular dining experience! The service was so superb we gave the server 40% tip.
However, when I returned in 2018, the server was horrible. When I asked for a different server, the replacement mocked me! I was verbally abused!!! I will Not have brunch there again.
Theo Patterson
Our private dinner was absolutely astounding. The only drawback was the price.
Neil Kanungo
Very classy bar inside the Four Seasons. Nice bartender, good drinks. About $13-17 per cocktail, so average pricing for a cocktail bar imo. Good selection of wines. Free homemade potato chips 😉. …
Josh S
I've been hear a couple of times and at each visit my food was delicious, drinks were tasty, and the service was excellent. Great place to treat yourself after rough day at work. A little on the pricier side but it's worth it.
Michael Parisi
Started out pretty good but ended bad. Very poor compared to other four season restaurants in the country (SF, NYC, PHL, ETC). Bar tenders not as attentive as they should be get better service at the westin. Ordered the burger with side of mushrooms, they were raw and burger was well done ever though ordered medium. Taste was just okay lots of salt. Five guys is better. Not impressed for a four seasons. Also 20 percent service charge automatically added to bill poor taste in this day in age. We are not I Europe, even NYC and sf do not do that come on man clean it up!
Kenneth McWeeney
A wonderful place for an after work drink, with views of the bay, or a special celebration. Service exceeded the Four Seasons standard, with both kind and helpful staff. Ethan Stowel's influence on menu had a enjoyable outcome and delivered a great meal!
Kim Barrow
We ordered the tasting menu. It was completely worth it. It changes regularly so it's a surprise. Each dish bursted with flavor. The whole experience was incredible. Service was impeccable and friendly.
Rhonda McKenzie
We enjoyed a delicious and varied dinner at the Goldfinch Tavern last week when we were visiting our son in Seattle. We had the tasting menu last visit, which was exceptional. From the appetizers to the geoduck salad to pasta and tenderloin and deconstructed s’mores, it was delicious. This trip we decided to just pick several dishes and have the table share. The hamachi crudo, goldtavern salad, crab ravioli, quail with yogurt sauce, pork chop that was at least an inch thick, panna cota, homemade sorbets and the myriad of other dishes they surprised us with, were so delicious. The crab ravioli I could literally eat three times a day!!! The ingredients are so fresh you can smell the flavor before it ever hits your tongue. The chef, cooks and wait staff were so friendly and pleasant to talk too and they made the meal that much more pleasurable. At the end of the meal, we slipped back into the kitchen to thank everyone for such an entertaining and tasty evening. Not sure you can find anything on their menu that is not good. You can tell the people cooking in this restaurant love food and they love it when other people enjoy it too! Chef Joe Ritchie and his staff are doing a great job so don’t hesitate to make this part of your next important evening. I am already looking forward to my next visit...
Andrew CARLIN
Come for the atmosphere. Quite and reserved, loads of privacy and very good upscale American food, if slightly over priced for the quality.
Andrea Ruble
Not a Good Value
We walked in and were immediately seated by very kind staff.
But looking at the menu I realized this was more like a $$$ spot.
I asked for a coffee and instead received an orange juice. I didn't want to make them throw it out so I just kept the juice and it was fine until I got the bill and learned it was a $9 orange juice. I should have turned around when I had the chance.
Devki RajGuru
Drinks were amazing...like fresh squeezed juices for their cocktails. But, man...avoid that corn they give as bar snacks. It's as if Corn Nuts and a cardboard box had a baby...not good. AND, don't get me started on the NOT validating parking. Expensive cocktails are one thing, but $20 for parking on top of that, for HH? Nah. Skip down the road. Plenty of fancy spots are available.
NightSky
Amazing, creative vegan menu Too. Absolutely the best plant-based breakfast in town. And you don't need to be vegan to enjoy it. I am surprised everyone does not know this.
I stumbled onto this place several years ago, and had to really work my memory to find it again (I don't go out much). I was afraid it had closed, and only remembered it was in a hotel. Well, this Four Seasons gem should be in every vegan's top 10 list in Seattle. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
David Conklin
Great brunch, small lunch menus and ancient drinks! A little pricey, but you're downtown Seattle.
Cassie Lynn
Best Weekend Brunch in town
Signe Froisland
I normally don't like beets but the beet and crab salad was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it
J Mark Nolan
Beautiful bar. Nice view. Good food.
Mark O'Deady
This is a beautifully appointed bar (and restaurant) off the hotel lobby. Expensive, but elegant. Great service to match the view of Puget Sound.
We simply stopped by for a drink after the TajMo performance at Benaroya Hall, so I can't address the food. The limited selection of draft beer didn't really reflect the rich, local microbrew culture, but the wine list was reasonably extensive and the cocktails looked yummy.
Jonathan Wan
I never leave reviews at restaurants as typically my expectations are met. Service at this restaurant was exemplary, our server (tom). Was outstanding, attentive and was extremely accommodating. We will return as the food was great and we are fans of stowells restaurants.
Nicholas King
The drinks were insanely good and the food was delicious. It wasn't cheap but it's a great once a summer date night.
Michael Parisi Presicce
I trusted the chef and wasn't let down. Got to try 9 different dishes in total, and each was spectacular. The service felt personal, but could be too frequent for some.
Thomas Wysocki
Excellent brunch with a great view. For $55, you get a main and access to their buffet which features breakfast bites, fresh seafood and a bunch of very yummy desserts.
Nate H
A great go-to spot whatever you are feeling like. You will see people in jeans and tuxedos, and can order anything from a hamburger to high end fare. The bartenders know their stuff and the four seaons service is always spot on. It can get a little boisterous at happy hour but that goes with the territory of being a hotel restaurant.
BE Kinchen
Excellent time at Goldfinch. The bartender, Chris, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He made a delicious Seattle Fog cocktail and recommended the grilled octopus appetizer. Outstanding!
Christopher Wolstenholme
Wonderful batenders!! Ask for Chris's Australian Espresso Martini 😉 …
Jessica Edens
Ethan Stowell just took my wife and I to church. We had a revival. In the midst of a pandemic, we believe in food again. We have been transformed. That was, hands down, the best meal in existence. The potatoes dripping with butter and topped with LOBSTER dripping in more butter were divine. The NY Strip, the Halibut, the Octopus, the Hamachi, the Oysyers, the Gazpacho, the effing Asparagus...every single bite of this meal was ecstatic. It was a gastronomic sacrament. And our server, Emma, was amazing. In a city devoid of good service, Emma was an angel, guiding us through our divine experience with knowledge and grace. Thank you to all who took part in the making of this meal! Our 4th anniversary will always be remembered gloriously because of you.
Your faithful servants,
The Swans
Drew Steblay
Weekend brunch! $60 gets you unlimited buffet, an entree (steak!), and unlimited mimosas from the killer staff behind the bar. I usually cover that $60 within an hour of arriving, but it lasts 10am - 2pm!
Jong Lee
Had breakfast - the food was flavorful and the portions generous too. Some cool views even being at the ground floor.
Nicole Miller
Really dissappointed. The server was not friendly, and seemed irritated. It was my birthday and he never acknowledged it. We are vegetarian and there were no entrees to choose from. I ended up with a risotto smothered in butter. I expected more from Four Seasons.
mark bloome
The restaurant is refined and beautifully done. And as befits high end restaurants it had sound dampening so that the experience of talking was pleasant.
The delivery of the food was VERY slow. Took 15 minutes for the first course, and then about 10 more minutes after we finished for the second course.
I had the burger. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. The cherry foccacia was great, as was the soup and the hamachi. Will I go back? I do not know.
Jennifer Martin
Salmon was cooked to perfection, delicious salads, and my daughter's pork chop was so juicy and flavorful. Loved everything about our meal.
David Sprinkle
Good food and terrific service. Pricey and the automatic 20 percent tip is annoying but getting pretty standard in downtown Seattle. At least our server pointed it out. Some places don't... hoping you'll tip on the tip.

I confess to being an unabashed fan of Joe Ritchie’s cooking. I first encountered Chef Richie’s talent when he was running the kitchen at Mkt., Ethan Stowell’s small 28-seat restaurant in Tangletown. Mkt. quickly became one of my favorite places to eat in Seattle, along with the likes of Altura and Spinasse. Ritchie’s creations are noteworthy for their carefully focused flavors that don’t overwhelm the main ingredient, but embellish it with subtle, balanced and elegant grace notes. His dishes often surprise me with lovely details that are like opening unexpected gifts. It’s the kind of cooking that produces “ooohs” and “aaahs” and much eye rolling. Word of Ritchie’s wonderful cooking spread quickly and Mkt. became one of the hot tickets in the Seattle restaurant scene, making it hard to get a reservation at the small restaurant. When I learned that Ethan Stowell was moving Ritchie to a new restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel downtown, I was disappointed and apprehensive. Not only did it mean that I would have to endure the longer drive to downtown with its congestion, traffic, and expensive parking, but I worried that the corporate hotel influence of Four Seasons might drown out the unique personality and innovativeness of Ritchie’s creations, which had wisely been given full flower at Mkt.
Last Thursday, my wife and I were downtown in the afternoon and decided to check out Chef Ritchie’s new venue at the Goldfinch Tavern in the Four Seasons Hotel. We started with some excellent and interesting cocktails and learned that Goldfinch had the great good fortune to hire Hideki Anpo, the former bar manager extraordinaire at Poppy. Since my wife and I arrived during happy hour, we decided to take advantage of the Goldfinch Burger on the happy hour menu. We both like our burgers cooked “black and blue” with a nice char on the outside, but rare on the inside (which requires the use of very high quality beef). It is almost impossible to find a restaurant that will consistently cook a burger like this, the Sand Point Grill (another of my favorite Seattle restaurants) being a notable exception and our previous gold standard for a burger in Seattle. The Goldfinch Burger was not only cooked perfectly to our specification, but was absolutely delicious, thanks in part to the coarse-ground Wagyu beef from Mishima Ranch. It was the best burger my wife and I have had in Seattle. We also had the hamachi crudo graced with small touches of Taggiasco olives, horseradish, red onion and chervil. Beautifully balanced and swooningly good. On my next visit, I won’t be able to resist ordering the hamachi again, but am excited to try other things like the beef tartare and the beet & Dungeness crab salad. I’m hoping that, in time, the menu at Goldfinch will expand to include more of the innovative small plates (like the hamachi crudo) that were what made Mkt. such a special experience. My wife and I sat at a table by a window overlooking Elliott Bay, and we liked the look, feel, and acoustics of the new space at Goldfinch. Service was excellent – informed, attentive, and friendly. Our very positive experience was especially impressive considering that Goldfinch was just finishing its first month of operation.

Great spot for breakfast 👌😋 …
Green Monkey
Cinnamon toast flavored popcorn and spiced nuts at the bar. They have a nice wines by the class selection. I'm very tasty desserts as well.
Sue Frause
So glad they have reopened for lunch. Small menu, but some fine choices, like this tasty clam chowder. Delish!
Brian Downing
Great bar that is very kid-friendly during the day - crayon sets, etch a sketches, kids menu.
April Michaels
The chefs tasting menu for dinner is absolutely to die for. So delicate, yet SO filling. Not to mention the entire ambience and view of the water front makes the trip well worth it.
Sara Andersen
I highly recommend Goldfinch for breakfast/brunch. I had their Acai Bowl (a limited time item) and tea.
The food was delicious, the ambiance modern with scenic views of the sound and the service was speedy with a smile.
Lawrence Osefoh
That was incredibly amazing. It was rich, but palatable through the entire meal. If you get the chef's selections add on the wine pairings and it is a magical experience.
Yen Duong
This place used to be Art restaurant, which I wasn't fond of, and sadly I'm not that fond of the new restaurant that replaced it either.
The only good thing that was good was the Goldfinch martini and the freshness of the oysters. Everything else was forgettable or weird. Came here for Seattle Restaurant Week and chose the oysters on a half shell, my friend got the smoked salmon spread on toast and a salad with parmesan shavings. Definitely get the oysters!
For an entrée, I got the salmon, which had its skin crisped and the inside was nice and flaky, however, it was on the saltier side. My friend had the scallops which were cooked well, but the white beans and the sauce that came with it didn't heighten the dish at all, just felt kind of bland and put together.
For dessert, I got the panna cotta and my friend got the apple crisp. The panna cotta was more like a light and fluffy cheesecake, rather than the typical gelatinous texture, even though it was a pyramid. The apple crisp was more of a apple crumble with ice cream. There was nothing special about the crumble.. didn't have enough butter.
Décor was nice.
Jeanette Hicks
Great and attentive service, lovely view. Was able to split a delicious chicken entree as wasn't very hungry and it was fresh and tender. Loved the lighting ambiance.
Max Sarkowsky
I love the food at Goldfinch. They have one of my favorite burgers here, and the prices are not as high as you might expect for a restaurant in a Four Seasons Hotel. All around great experience.
Ryan Sims
Great service, And delicious food! These people know what service is all about.
Blake Ilstrup
Truly unique, well prepared food coupled with world-class service. Highly recommend!
Dior Ella
IMPECCABLE SERVICE! THANK YOU! DEFINITELY MORE THAN 5 STARS!!! THANK YOU!!!
Dean Plassaras
Very nice Christmas day dinner environment. Ribeye steak was excellent, dishes need a touch of improvement though. Overall, very positive experience.
Petko Bozhilov
The food and drinks look great! Taste is somehow okayish. The place is overpriced and service is slow.
Jags Krishnamurthy
Nice spot with views. Not many vegetarian options. The soup and the salads were very good.
Jeff Stockamp
Good food and great service. Staff is very courteous. Chef was very accommodating in making an off menu item for our group. Will go back.
Debbie Johnson
Great service, great food, wonderful views. If you go to the bar they might have some wonderful snacks. It's a lovely place for date night
Michael Moynihan
Beautiful design.. mid-century modern and classic. Food is amazing. Slow on delivery but great Bar tenders made up for that. Will be coming back.
Micah Arnold
We went here for the drinks. We really enjoyed the service and the drinks. Great view and atmosphere.
On a side and awkward note they have a really nice bathroom. Hehe...
Audriana Frasier
Very cozy vibes with dim lit lighting. It is pricey as you'd imagine but there are some small things like soups and appetizers you can order within a budget. Great service.
Kyle Blair
We had a fantastic experience at the Goldfinch Tavern, and with Ethan Stowell Restaurants in general. My wife and I had a table next to the window with a view of the waterfront for our Valentine's Day dinner. The food was incredible, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. We had a generous gift card given to us, which we tried to redeem but currently Goldfinch Tavern doesn't accept Ethan Stowell Gift Cards. It is written in the fine print, but my wife and I missed it. When we later e-mailed Ethan Stowell Restaurants about it they generously refunded us the value of the gift card. Ethan Stowell Restaurants is a classy organization and the Goldfinch Tavern is a fine dining establishment. I would highly recommend visiting any of Ethan Stowell's restaurants. You won't be disappointed.
F. Brown
Excellent experience with really top notch service. I was the designated driver and even my water glass was kept full. The views are fabulous from the tavern too.
Larry O
Good, atmosphere, view, and staff are top notch. Menus has interesting and delicious choices. There should be something for everyone.
Staff remembers locals and are always warm and welcoming.
Lois Evans
Service is consistently great. Prices were good for how much you get. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.
Debbi Mallinson
Way over priced. $51 for salmon and veggies which was good but not amazing. Not enough value to justify the price.
Natalie Jorgensen
Service was excellent, we told them that it was our honeymoon and the chef gave us a desert and took care of our bill, defiantly will be going back again sometime just based off of the awesome service that was given to us, everyone was so friendly !
Dallas Keefe
Great for date night, they also have the $45 deal on Sundays and Mondays where you get too meals and a bottle of vino for $45! Take a friend out or schedule a date night in this upscale hotel!
LaDona Swazi
Good food-nice environment but expensive & 20% surcharge aka forced tip is annoying. Plus bc the charge is added to the bill you pay sales tax on it as well.
Jason Masters
Went here for brunch to celebrate my 5 year anniversary with my lady and it was amazing. Excellent fresh served food (oysters)!
David Castle
Easter Brunch was absolutely fantastic. Perfect food, perfect service and amazing drinks. We will be back.
Melissa James
Beautiful location! Stopped for a drink to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed the atmosphere and staff very much! So glad we took the time and look forward to a return visit!
Bob Lee
Great ambiance and superb service. The food is amazing. A bit of disappointment is that you don't get free valet parking as the old Art it replaces.
Michael Burrington
Great service because the bartenders listened well & had fun with customers and each other.
Drinks and food excellent - try "The Last Word" if you like gin!
wil jorgensen
This place is amazing. The food and service is great.
Callie Ryan
Absolutely go with the tasting menu. The chefs are superb! Each course is incredibly thoughtful, beautiful, and delicious.
Christopher Kauffman
Always an amazing experience. One of my favorite places to go downtown for cocktails with friends.
David Shrauner-Biggs
Great service/atmosphere. Wonderful spot if your a local and want to be a "regular" somewhere. Espresso Martini is to die for.

Food and service were wonderful. We did "Trust the chef" (chef tasting menu) and enjoyed all the dishes.
Tanner Mathy
The food was great, and our waiter Jerry was awesome!
Maurisa Michelic
Our service was excellent, we got a window seat with a great waterfront view. Menu was quality but not a lot of variety.

Ethan Stowell delivers magnificent food and ambiance with one of the best views in Seattle. The Dungeness Crab Pasta is a personal favorite of mine and will not disappoint!
Kartik Murthy
Really great service and ambiance.
Approvedby Craig
awesome happy hour spot, amazing cocktails and great little bites. Chef Joe is great and our bartender Art was really friendly
Lee Hudson
Spendy, limited menu. Food is not groundbreaking. Nice and attentive staff. Great location in the city. Comfortable vibe.

Chef Ritchie's culinary artistry in and of itself is not to be missed; when coupled with exceptional service it's truly a one of a kind epicurean delight.
Natasha Petrovic
Burger and chowder is the best. Excellent cocktail program.
Sue Frause
A perfect lunch spot when going to SAM (Seattle Art Museum) across the street. Nice chowder!
Nirmal Krishnan

Barrett Powell
Great views, seafood, steaks, and spirits. Great place for business lunch.
Sherri Widen
The food and service were both amazing. Beautiful water views. Process are higher here but it is worth it.
Laura Donohue
Delicious chicken and duck ragu rigatoni. Drinks a little overpriced though!
Yevgeniy Yurin
Beautiful and clean facility with excellent service, especially for Seattle. Average and unremarkable food. Overall, it was not a negative experience.
Jess Stevens
Amazing, attentive staff with attention to detail. Food is impeccably prepared. Lots of options for vegetarians. Food arrived fairly quickly.
Tod Rodman
Excellent food service ambience and classy. Busy with after work crowd so dining or drinks is best enjoyed after seven in the evening.
James Provance
This place is always fantastic.
Marie Acob
The food here is really good and the place is super fancy with a soft music which I very enjoyed. But the price of the food is not really worth it
Justin Golld
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, excellent layout, clean environment, beautiful and relaxed environment. The food was good, but it could have been better.
Stefanie Howrad (Showrad)
The entire diner to ourselves with red wine, an amazing hummus platter, and the juiciest burger of my life! Yummmmm!
Brett Ettinger
The food and bar beverages are excellent, service is efficient and polite. It's expensive.
Julian Kelly
Provided one of the best meals (not just vegan meals) I've ever had for my work holiday party.
Aditya Saraf
Very delicious, but the tasting menu had rather small portions. Would recommend ala carte instead.
Melania
Beautiful atmosphere, such friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be visiting again next time I am in Seattle.
Natalie Van Gaver
Mothers day brunch 2018, wish the mimosas were included, but other than that everything was amazing!
Andrea Block
Great dessert options, more expensive than other options in the area. Great service and food was delicious.
Melissa Kerson
This brunch is a must do. Wear all your fancy clothes, gorge on the "appetizers", take home the entree.
Rick Takagi
Beautiful presentation and delicious entrees. The view amenity is also really nice if you get a window seat.
Lovey Scully
Wonderful setting. Great pork chop. Very busy at 5pm on a Friday. I would go back.
