This is an amazing neighborhood pizza restaurant. I was in the mood for pizza and driving through the neighborhood, so I decided to try it. The young staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t realize they specialized in a Turkish food called Fitchi, I plan to try it my next visit. This is a very good local pizza restaurant.

Astoundingly good central Asian meat pies. Perfect, crispy crust, wonderful meat flavor. Just like I remember it from my travels. I just wish they expanded that part of their menu rather than making pizza you can find anywhere else. Why not some mantu, some breads and soups, etc? Kabob?? The chef clearly has talent for more than pizza and I think there is a market (me!!!)

I recently saw Fitchi House online and vowed to visit sometime and I'm finally glad I did. Based on what I've read and the decal in the window, Fitchi House used to be Milano Pizza and Pasta. I personally am very glad the owners decided to pivot towards offering Turkmen food. I can imagine the foot traffic may be lower, but I hope they can hang in because they put out tasty Turkmen food. They still offer the mainstay Italian-American dishes and the kofte I ordered had garlic bread and salad that could easily be found with an Italian meal. Fitchi House is on the main drag of Wallingford and it is painted in an attractive golden yellow with black accents. The interior had 4 tables and was contemporarily outfitted with bright white tables and chairs and some plants on the tables. I ordered some of the main Turkmen dishes: fitchi, somsa, and kofte. The lady running the shop seemed to be impressed that I seemed to know what to order and asked where I was from. I am not of Central Asian descent but I definitely knew that I wanted to try the Turkmen food. The owners and especially the lady were nice hosts. The lady was especially kind and gracious. I think she appreciated sharing dishes from her heritage. Her demeanor just makes me want to visit all the time. Back to the food, after ordering she went to work. It took about 10 minutes to make the three items and each were delicious. They were all hearty dishes with meat and dough playing major roles. I especially liked the fitchi and kofte. The kofte was like an empanada but instead of crust made of dough it was ground meat and inside was a healthy amount of cheese. The fitchi were delicious as well with flavorful meat in a squat cylindrical pastry. The meat reminded me of pelmeni filling that I grew up with. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and hope to return soon. I hope more people pay a visit because the Turkmen food is great.

I can't say enough about how much I love Fitchi House! It's one of the very few places you can try Central Asian food, but it also has so many other things! Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, Greek food, salads, and cheesecake. And Jalapeño poppers! Truly a one-stop-shop when your friends/family each want something different. Personally, I'm picky about my ravioli, but this place passes my test. And their prices are very reasonable! I'm so fortunate to live close enough to walk. Also, try the Charjou pizza or calzone - it'll become your new favorite!

Turkmen cuisine is one of the rarest cuisines you can find in the United States, but Fitchi House in Wallingford in a must-try! Although the restaurant is marketed as eastern cuisine, the Turkmen flavors are subtle, masked under a larger pizza shop menu. I tried both the veggie samsa and veggie fitchi yesterday, both were hearty, crispy, and juicy, and for the affordable price of $10! The owner was really nice and even gave me some Turkmen tea to try. My only feedback: I'm sure the pizza is really good but I wish the Turkmen menu was more extensive, giving us a greater depth into Turkmen cuisine. I'd love to try dishes like palaw, manty, unash, gutap, and the several skewer and soup based cuisine. Perhaps more flavors for the samosa/fitchi like pumpkin would be nice, and instead of the ranch sauce currently given with the pastries, I think they should give more options of authentic turkmen sauces.

Delicious food at this spot and very kind & helpful staff. I ordered the chicken penne, perfectly cooked pasta with the best pesto I've ever had. The beef fitchi was delicious as well! The perfect comfort food for a cold fall night. Highly recommend!

$5 Savory Meat Pastries sounds too good to be true, but the Samsa I had was every bit as delicious as I hoped it would be. Props to them for not only making an incredibly ambitious restaurant concept (Turkmen/Italian fusion), but for being great at it and having affordable prices. Y’all need to support these guys so they stay in business!

I gave 5 stars. 1.) The reason why is that my order was delivered when I was told it would be. (That means in a timely fashion.) 2.) The food that I ordered was really good! Well prepared for take out too. Someone's got their act together it seems. 3.) My food was hot when it arrived...not luke warm, but hot. Awesome and good job. 4.) The person who took my order and who delivered my meal couldn't have been anymore accommodating and easy too deal with. Note: There are some restaurants that might consider implementing Fitchi House business model. Good job Fitchi House. I'll be reordering in the future and recommending your restaurant to others. Delicious 🤤 I got the beef fitchi combo. It came with a drink, salad, vegetarian egg rolls, and a beef fitchi-- it's kind of like a pie stuffed with meat and seasonings. Altogether very good! Really good price too!

Stayed at the Inn at Virginia Mason. Even though the menu is on Slicelife.com, it said it didn't deliver to The Inn. Called them directly and place our order for delivery. The food showed up hot and the drinks cold. The pasta was good and the Tiramisu was amazing!

This place serves the best fitchi and somsa! I grew up in Uzbekistan, and my parents used to take me to this amazing Fitchi place. When I found Fitchi House in Wallingford, I was a bit skeptical; however this place exceeded my expectations. My Mom loved it and she moved from Uzbekistan only 3 years ago. Fitchi is authentic and the customer service is exceptional. The cafe is very clean and has a good family like vibe, as it is owned by an amazing family. It felt like I went back in time and I was eating fitchi from my childhood. Thank you Lola and everyone for a great experience!
