Reviews of Cinque Terre Ristorante
Kate
This was my first time eating here and I loved it! The food was WONDERFUL and authentic Italian. We loved the homemade bread and the homemade pastas. Our server Jessica was the best, she was so friendly and attentive to our table and gave us some great recommendations. I couldn’t speak more highly of this place! The atmosphere, the service/staff, and food were great. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Had a delicious time with friends here. Came for the happy hour menu so we split a bunch of plates and had nice cocktails. The octopus was amazing, but all of the food was real good. We were well taken care of. We ate outside so I can't really comment on the inside operation. I'm sure it's just as good. Highly recommend.

Great place for team lunch. The online reservation only allows up to 6 people, so I had to call in. They were very accommodating, and got us a nice spot with ample space.
I ordered salmon dish which had mashed potato & sauteed spinach on the side. The sauce had a hint of seafood taste and capers. Lots of flavors! Also the presentation was gorgeous.

The ambiance was lovely, the server and host were kind and inviting. My friends and I went to celebrate an engagement. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the fettuccine. Great restaurant. The menu didn't have a lot in my opinion, but there's still a fair variety :) The lemonade tasted more lime-y to me, but it was still good!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Delicious is just the beginning....Johanna and Jessica were both fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful, and what a fun team to watch. They take service to the next level at Cinque Terre.
A must eat in Seattle.... the vibes are chill...and the food is kinda fancy and so so good.... to top it off the toilet seats are warmed. This place was such a treat!

Lauren was our sever and she's AWESOME! All the staff was nice and courteous. Food is absolutely authentic and to die for! Great ambience and a place full of positive vibes. Bonus points for the heated seats in the washroom 😀

Recently visited at a peak time and ate at the bar. Enjoyed the vibe and the food. Started with a lentil soup I really enjoyed then had the boar/pasta dish. Service was pleasant in spite of the frenetic atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

The happy hour deal here is unreal. 50% off select dishes, the beef carpaccio was $10 and boar rigatoni was $12. Fine dining experience for a fraction of the cost. The patio is heated as well which is nice during these Covid times.

When we arrived, the Concierge seemed a bit confused, perhaps hadn't understood me when I told him my name and that I had a reservation, but sat us anyway. Later I found out the restaurant had reported me as a No Show for my reservation through Open Table. I clarified the situation through Open Table but I was disappointed in having had to do this.
Our dining experience was otherwise fairly good. I enjoyed the octopus and my companion had ordered the Caesar salad - which didn't come out and our server had to go check on it and bring her a fresh one. Our main entrees arrived and we were both happy with our pasta dishes. My fettuccine with shrimp in cream sauce was very nice.
We both ordered dessert and my cannoli was tasty but the presentation seemed a bit messy as compared to the last time I had dined at this restaurant.
I still enjoy the food, but this visit just wasn't as nice as the last time I had come to the restaurant a couple of years ago.

We were craving authentic Italian food when we found Cinque Terre Italian Restaurant. Our waitress Jessica was incredible!
We had salads and a couple of pasta dishes, as well as gelato.
We will definitely come back here and eat other items of the menu.
Susy Kings
Great dinner experience.
I loved the ambiance. Host & Waitress very attentive and fast service. We order grilled octopus, pesto pasta, fettuccine with shrimp. Delicioso !
Paolo Chiarlone
Excellent Italian restaurant with authentic flavors.
Great seafood and great pizza.
Leo is a friendly and nice owner, great service by Giovanna.
Truly a gem.
Definitely recommended.

My favorite place since I moved to Seattle. We always have our Friday HH at Cinque Terre. Great oysters, prosciutto and burrata, pizza margherita and antipasta plate. Also highly recommend their bistecca and mussels! Love their freshly baked Focaccia bread. I think we tried all their items on the menu and never were disappointed. Also service is always friendly and nice.
Karen Smith
Authentic, delicious Italian food. Wish they sold their sauce in jars - it is beyond perfect. Lovely ambiance and great service too. Our table of 4 for lunch decided to return for lunch the next day too! Perfect Italian food!
Dustin Martin
I ended up here with a work party, and had both the short ribs and fish, and let me tell you... The potatoes were incredible, the meat was tender and full of flavor, and the fish was super tasty. I can't imagine trying to cook to this caliber. Hats off to the staff, everyone was super friendly.
My only critique is the wait time for anything was a bit long.
Josephine Schaaf
Hands down the best Octopus I've had in years. Everything was perfect. From Ambiance, Service and Delicious & Fresh dishes.
Brenton Balcer
Phenomenal!
This was a true taste of the quaint Ligurian towns on the cliffs of the Mediterranean. The zuppa di pesce was rich in flavor and takes me back to summer nights in Riomaggiore. The pesto compares favorably with the region that invented it.
I was ecstatic to find this restaurant and these dishes right in the heart of Seattle.
Jessica was an exceptional server with a great appreciation for the vibe, taste, and quality this restaurant is aiming to achieve. Grazie, Jessica!
Chris H.
Pretty good appetizers and entrees. For appetizers, get the octopus (polpo) and aged prosciutto, but skip the carpaccio (fresh but gets overpowered by the flavors of everything else). For the entree, the carasecce pasta with grilled trout (so crispy and flaky!) was bomb!
Pier RK
I’m Italian, and I was looking for some Italian food in Seattle. When I found the Cinque Terre I immediately booked. The food was good yet not a typical Italian restaurant but more a revisited one.
The ambience was very nice, the bathrooms very clean and our waiter great!
Bruce Davidson
Steak was delicious! Caesar salad was not our favorite but everything else was great. Cody was a great bartender and made great drinks!
Alex Gil Torres
This Italian restaurant has really good food! Anything you get from menu will make you enjoy every bite of your meal.
They offer homemade bread, which it is fantastic! Accompanies each plate perfectly!
This is the reason for the 4 star: The service is great at lunch time! Orders in time, excellent service, kind service… however when I have been here for dinner, and the experience wasn’t as good, they sat us down and we waited about 20 minutes to get water, 20 minutes to get our order in, and we got one dish wrong.
James Wald
All around a great dinner. Grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Mixed appetizer plate was a good mix of different meats, veggies, and olives, the burrata was decent but not as good as I've had elsewhere. I was happy to find the chicken parmigiana served with broccolini and potatoes, as I wasn't interested in pasta. Service was friendly, but I probably would have had a second glass of wine if she had asked (she didn't). Our server was nice enough to provide a free tiramisu with fireworks on top as a gesture for the event we were celebrating, but I wasn't too impressed with it - the texture was great but it was lacking any notable coffee flavor. Nothing about the visit was bad, just some things that fell a bit short, and I'd still highly recommend dining here. Try the octopus!
Giovanni Cifuentes
Variety of options for dining, well presented plates at the right size; good cocktails and wide Italian wine selection, Lauren our server was outstanding and made our experience even better; a must go place in DT Seattle.
Carl Plummer
Had salmon but could barely taste it since the sauce was so strong. It wasn’t bad but didn’t think it was that great. Would have preferred the sauce was on the side so I could apply it as desired.
Rorie S. Ching
Excellent service and amazing food! I ordered the grilled octopus and it was absolutely phenomenal. The only not 5 star aspect was that they were out of pistachio gelato, which ended up being no problem since their cannolis were completely authentic and delicious!
Jason
We had a great meal at Cinque Terre. Pizza, lasagna, and chicken parmesan were loved by all.
Also, can't say enough about the staff. Nora, our waitress, was the highlight! Also, it seems like a strong crew that work together. Highly recommended!
Kris C.
delicious food! The focaccia is to dieeeeee for. So fresh, salty, fluffy and with the perfect crunch. The olive oil dip was salty with a nice kick! Fresh pizza dough ! Prosciutto pizza was mouth watering. Plus it’s a really cool vibe environment. Happy Hour specials are wonderful !!! Kadianne, our server, was a sweetheart!!!!!!! Sit in the bar/happy hour area to be attended by her. Superb customer service & attention to detail! Thank you so much. You made my last meal in Seattle special! Much love from Phoenix.
zakina carter
I can't stop talking about our visit here for my birthday!!! The food was so good and the service was just as good as well! Our service Phillip was so nice personable as well as the manager Eric her was nothing short of amazing!!! I forgot my to go box on the table and Eric literally came to our car and gave it to me. We will definitely be back to visit and will be bringing friends with us as well!
Omar Figueroa
Everything about this restaurant is excellent: service, food, ambience. I can’t recommend this enough! Don’t think it twice, go and you will have an amazing experience.
OurFOREVER FAMILY
As a Family we rate this restaurant a 4.5👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰
We would definitely come here again.
When we rate, we take the following into consideration. (Special note) As an AFRICAN AMERICAN FAMILY…service QUALITY is HIGHLY VALUED.
*Cleanliness-4/5..bathroom toilet was nice, but toilets had difficulty flushing.
*Ambiance-5/5.. nicely done
*Service Quality-10/10…The staff was extremely ATTENTIVE . Erich the GM served us, and helped bring the customers food to each table. He checked in periodically to make sure the food and service was to your liking. He made our family feel welcomed…THATS IMPORTANT!
Our Server, Rachel was genuinely sweet, attentive, and professional. I appreciated her ability to balance heartfelt conversation while maintaining professionalism. They made our hearts smile.
*Food Quality-4/5..Everything was delicious, except my daughter’s Chicken parmigiana. I understand that this might be the norm, but the breading|sauce|cheese, was tough\hard. A preparation without the breading, would have been “butter”. The BREAD, was delicious!
*Overall experience-5/5..We enjoyed ourselves. Food& Drinks were good. Service made this a memorable experience. Thank you ALL🥰
Ithomiid Inc.
We went for late night happy hour at 9pm. Half price bar menu! Pizza was fantastic with a nice tangy sauce. I should have ordered it well done though!
Zoe G
Thier seafood was amazing, flavourful and fresh! You can almost forget about entrees with how amazing their appetizers are
Carly Crown
Amazing food, would be definitely coming back…..may have just found an authentic Italian family restaurant 💯
Brandon Wilson
I had the best experience eating here recently and loved every minute of it. Jessica was my server it was so friendly and nice and accommodated my desire to get both the trout and a pasta dish to complement it. In fact the chef made something custom for the sauce so that it all went perfectly together! Amazing food all around and the perfect service to go with it.
Mj
Service and food were both great. The FREE focaccia and olive oil were OUTSTANDING. We will return to explore more of the menu.
Aurelie Verdiell
the food was incredibly delicious and made with delicate care. the pasta was obviously fresh and al dente—bursting with flavor at the brim. the service is amazing, david was a sweetheart. i cannot recommend this place enough!
Ashley Hartwell
Great spot for a weekday patio happy hour. I went in late September, which is perfect patio weather in Seattle. They usually have a good oyster and bubbles happy hour, along with other small bites on their happy hour menu. The wagyu carpaccio was surprisingly large and delicious and was my favorite dish. I’ve visited several times and service is okay, sometimes great and sometimes mediocre. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant for happy hour or dinner!
Sigyn Lokean
We went here before the panic at the Disco concert. They have the best Italian food of any Italian restaurant I have been to
Zoki Z
Own interpretation of Italian Cuisine, which I liked. Own recombinations - if suitable and prepared with quality products - are welcome. And this place has such a chef capable of creating own tasty interpretations. Only the price is very high, at least for European standards. The service experience varies. One time we had a fabulous young waiter, very kind and proactive. Another time it was just service as usual.
Christine Pulliam
Cinque Terre is hip and happening. I didn't have a reservation and was lucky to get a seat at the bar. The bartender was poetry in motion - excellent service.
The lentil soup was intriguing thanks to the addition of cardamom. If I hadn't known it was there, I never would have placed it, it was so unexpected.
The spaghetti with polpettine was delicious. You can tell the pasta is house made. My only critique is that the meatballs had an oddly chewy texture.
Anthony Gioia
Good food, very friendly staff, and great drinks. Oh and try the oysters, best ever!
randy richardson
Had the wild Boar rigatoni it was pure awesomeness. Wanted to lick the bowl when I was done. And my wife had the fettuccini ai gamberie e limone also great The red and white wines were very good. For desert we both had espresso Martinis that had a slight Carmel nutty aftertaste to them a little sweet but still very good. Will definitely be back
Robin Adler
What a great meal here! The food was amazing. We were 9 people and got a lot of different things from their menu. Our server was great at the start but then he forgot about us mid-meal, but that was okay. The food made up for his absence.
Josh Zaleznik
Had an amazing anniversary dinner with my girlfriend tonight. The service was amazing and so was the food. They treated us like family. Would recommend the Fettuccine ai gamberi e limone.
stan yu
I really enjoyed the starter bread and olive oil combo. It was soft and flavorful with a little bit of spice. Highly recommend the wild boar rigatoni dish. I don’t often see this dish on menus so I gave it a try and loved it. The meat was seasoned nicely and tender and the pasta was al dente 👌🏼 …
Nathy Khoury
The food was ok, the pizza was cold but the pasta was tasty. Good service!
Vaibhav Kotecha
Awesome place, Really Good Food and very friendly staff! Loved the Pizza!
Scott Ramsey
Absolutely an incredible time there. We got there for happy hour and was not disappointed. Got a few appetizers, a few bottles of wine, and a huge portion of lasagna. Food was delicious, staff was very welcoming and professional. Would absolutely recommend going there. Even though I got lasagna, I hear the braised boar is also delicious, next time for me!
Gary Stepaniants
I have been in search of "Frutti Di Mare" pizza in Seattle for a long time, and have to say that Cinque Terre Restorante absolutely NAILED IT!
eiko fujikawa
We were there for our 1st time. Also we had their "Seattle Restaurant Week" menu.
Servers were friendly and took care of us good. Food were great too.
We don't come downtown area often but we would like to go there again.
Greg Eastman
I was seated in the bar area. Bartender was very attentive. Service was great, as well as the food. The hostess came to check on me and I had a nice conversation with her. Overall, a very relaxing meal. Highly recommend!
Hannah Corbin
I don’t typically leave reviews but this one was too good not to. This evening I dined at Cinque Terre and it was seriously the best experience. Our server, Garrett, was SO nice, with such smiles and gestures that I have not felt in so long in Seattle. I live just a few blocks over and find it exceptionally hard to find anywhere in this area that serves great service with a smile. Garrett touched our tables so many times, making sure we enjoyed each and every item we ordered. The dishes came out with PERFECT timing, and I know how hard this is to get right! Which is why I am so impressed. Our items came out super hot, which is amazing—telling me there was not a second wasted of my meal sitting on a table under a heating lamp waiting to be ran. The manager walked around, helping his colleagues, and seemed so attentive to the workplace. The bread? Don’t even get me started. So fresh!!! The ambiance was LOVELY as well. We even ordered dessert and I loved the whipped cream (I think it was actually homemade, which makes me so happy not to see the lines of the whipped cream can piping tip on a squirt LOL) on top of my uniquely crafted lavender panna cotta. I haven’t even spoken to my pasta! So fresh, delicious, and made with such care and craft in the recipe. All in all, I am so extremely impressed with how well this establishment runs especially for a Friday evening. These servers, chefs, and everyone here — seem like figure skaters on ice, moving flawlessly with each other to make magic happen. As someone in the hospitality industry, what this tells me, is that everyone at this establishment genuinely enjoy working there and therefore putting their love into their craft. I have such an appreciation for this restaurant and will be telling my friends, family, and colleagues and WILL be back!
Iryna Lahoda
Cinque Terre is a truly great place.
First, they have an awesome happy hour: all bar menu 50% off. And this menu contains almost everything from the main menu.
Second, the service is so quick and responsible.
It is my experience. I have been there not once, it every time I had a good time. Thanks so much to amazing server Miguel and beautiful Sierra. I appreciate your patience and help!
I was really amazed last time, when I wanted to order my favorite mussels. They were run out of those ones. And instead I have got Seafood salad with 25% off!
I appreciate this gift and highly recommend to visit this restaurant.
Jeremy McAfee
Very crowded tables....need a little more elbow room. Food was good. Our waitress was great....although I forgot her name....she had a phrase tattooed down her spine that was really cool!
Maxim Maxim
Had a great meal. This week was “Seattle Restaurant Week”, I had the pumpkin soup, steelhead salmon and finished with a nice dessert. Beautiful wine selection and the staff was very good.
Michael G. Barash
Good Italian food near the Amazon offices. Decor is really nice, feels very modern and bright.
Francine Goitz
Nothing short of fantastic- from the ambiance, to the all the delicious food (focaccia, burrata, shrimp Alfredo, and tiramisu), to the cocktails, spectacularly made to order by Cody, our attentive and delightful bartender. Seriously good eats, if you’re in the area don’t miss it. It’s the real deal.
Rachael Sass
We loved our meal here!!! We were originally sat next to a group celebrating a birthday who were a little louder than we were hoping to be by (nothing against them, we just wanted a quiet dinner) and the hostess graciously reseated us in this really cool spot under the stairs! From there, we could see the whole place, which was really cool!! The space is super modern with floor to ceiling windows. I love their interior!
Our waiter was awesome and recommended the prosciutto and burrata appetizer, which was really delicious. He also recommended some WA wines to us and his recommendations were spot on!!
For dinner, we got the squid ink spaghetti and it was very scrumptious. We both very much enjoyed it! We also loved the bread that they bring to the table!
We will be back for SURE!
Lilia Mathewson
Nice place, but not very kid friendly, we got a table with a column sticking out of the middle of the table and blocking the entire view of the restaurant. We asked for a different table which was empty the entire time but were denied in our request. Food was average.
Tyler Ann Sands aka Sister Gramps
We had an amazing time at your restaurant. Our dishes we ordered tasted wonderful. We were recommended, by a nice lady at the West Elm furniture store. We did not have to wait, we were seated quickly. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. View of the beautiful downtown Seattle.
Sasha Brezina
Definitely the best happy hour we have had! Vivienne was an AMAZING server and we could not have had a better time. Tha k you so much!
Howard Sewell
Very large, airy, open-style restaurant in the center of Amazonville. First impressions are of a "corporate" space but the service and then the food exceeded all expectations. Pastas were fresh and not at all stodgy, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Had a very decent red wine for $40.
S Truswell
Excellent service, food was delicious as well. We had chef’s choice antipasto, Ossobuco, and the lasagne. My cocktail (rose all day) was a little heavy on the ice (served in a wine glass) which made it difficult to drink; I would have liked it in a highball glass with a short straw. Very clean surroundings.
Ashley Ellerson
Dropped in for the first time during happy hour (all day on Sundays aka 50% off bar food menu items) with two friends and really enjoyed the food! We shared mussels, gnocchi, and bistecca- all great quality dishes. I definitely plan to stop by again to try more dishes from Cinque Terre!
Julia Liang
Great mordern decoration, the free appetizer bread is too delicious to reject, the stake I ordered is a bit over cooked but taste good, the potato salad is uniquely made, worth the try. The food comes very slow, and The bus lady was arrogant and rude, that is why I will give a 3 star. I might still go back for food but won’t recommend if you are looking for service.
Love N Gratitude
I asked to see the menu to see what the offerings were. The hostess said that guests have to scan the QR code because they are paperless due to the virus. This is a plus! This place is very clean because of this and the general environment.
The menu didn’t have anything calling out to me, but the restaurant was open for dine in, which is a plus. I hadn’t seen anything else open within a few blocks’ radius. A few places closed about an hour earlier and some were just closed (temporarily) altogether due to the pandemic.
Diners could choose between sitting outside or indoors. Plus!
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
It was a nice dining experience. I would have liked a better menu selection; otherwise, it would have been 5 stars. For instance, instead of the lasagna having both beef and pork (as shown on the menu) I would have preferred beef only. I didn’t want to have to ask if I could have it solely beef as most likely it was prepared ahead of time as in most restaurants.
John Chen
Possibly the best value happy hour in town. The beef carpaccio, octopus and frutti de mare (ask to add their homemade pasta) are amazing.
Edward Amartey-Tagoe
I visited this restaurant with a friend for happy hour. We got half off most of our orders at the bar. It is easy to get to with a bus or by uber.
Whether you just want to sit at the bar and have drinks or have dinner with a friend or date, the place has what you need to have a good time. There was a group right behind us at the bar so they do allow group dinners as well. Highly recommended.
Anna Vakulchyk
Steak was tasteless, no salt at all, lavender desert was great.
Sam Tucker
Pretty good food, the mussels were fantastic and were out within minutes of ordering. I ordered the agnolotti with butter and sage and found the sauce a bit too rich for my taste. Love butter, but this was a whole new level and the pasta was slightly tough/dry. Decent wine by the glass, but was disappointed that no bread was provided until asked for and was slightly ignored as a single party. Would recommend for apps & wine (and small dishes). Can't speak to the entrées otherwise, but was slightly steep (given the location this may make sense, however)
Bob Lee
Nice modern decor with well executed dishes. There is a nice bar/lounge area also. We will need to come back for Happy Hour. 😁
BONUS: Parking is free under the Amazon Doppler building on weekends! Downtown parking! Free!
Tim Costello
Great food in a contemporary atmosphere. If you're looking for an elevated dining experience in downtown Seattle this is a great bet
Geneviève Vachon
I ordered the squid ink pasta with Dungeness crab and mussels. The order came with both complimentary sparkling water and homemade bread. I found the portion size to be on the larger side. I also saw someone order the burrata which looked fantastic.
Amba Snakeman
This place is rather isolated and is a nice cosy joint. Staff are very professional, friendly and very good with information. Food serving size is a standard amaerican size and is alot for a typical asian stomach. Food was good tasty and i would recommend anyone in this neghbourhood to pay this restaurant a visit. Has both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Lacey
Pasta is delicious, rich and delicate. Loved the charred kale on their mushroom ravioli! Pizza is tasty with good crust but I'd recommend coming for their pasta dishes.
Vasily R
The bread is to die for. It is normally an upscale place but the secret is to go during happy hour, which is killer btw. I think I had boar pasta for like 11 bucks? And house wine at like 18 a bottle? Those are ridiculous prices. We asked for more bread like twice and I regret nothing.
Aniruddha Basak
Food is excellent and very welcoming service. Thanks to our server Darko, who gave us good suggestions on food and drinks based on our preferences and expectations. The dessert Panna Cotta was unbelievably delicious. I, with very little craving for sweet, felt like having the same plate more.
Audrey Miller
Fantastic food, spectacular wine. We went for all day happy hour on a Sunday so we had a chance to try a little bit of everything and it was all marvelous. Our server Jessica was our highlight, though. She just offered us the best service we’ve had in such a long time. It’s a great feeling when you can’t wait to tip your server. She was so kind and took great care of us. She made the entire experience!
Dor Nadler
First of all, the vibes are amazing! Incredibly fun to sit there with friends, family, or even a business meeting. The food is beyond great, one of the best Italian restaurant we’ve been to. The pastas were amazing. The staff was especially incredible, we had Jessica as our waitress and she was so nice and helpful. Highly, highly recommended to anyone who enjoys high class Italian food for incredibly fair prices.
Jim T
Really good food, service, vibe all at reasonable prices. Upscale chic with friendly hostess and waitress. We stayed at Sheraton and this was a short walk. Wild boar rigatoni, steelhead trout and calamari were all winners. And nice cocktails, and glass of house red just $10. Glad we went here!
Beth Terry
Fabulous dinner & excellent, friendly service from Phillip. Steelhead & boar pasta entrees were excellent, as were the apps, wine, & profiteroles. Visited on Memorial Day weekend, & wouldn't have gotten in without a reservation. Staff could benefit from a trip to THE Cinque Terre, perhaps on their one year anniversary serving this lovely restaurant 😉
Val Oushakoff
Had a fantastic dinner and dining experience. It was like dinner and a show. We sat at the dining bar at the kitchen, watched all the amazing plates being prepared, spoke with the the head chef, Eric, great guy! Even the owner said hello! What a gentleman! Tops was Kadianne, our server, she was the best!! The service team was spot on.
Food, service, ambiance … made the experience outstanding!
Trent Stober
We had a fantastic business dinner last night (7/24) with several of our corporate leaders and clients in the upstairs private dining space. The food and wine was amazing. The service was spot on. Carrie was extremely attentive to our needs, glasses were never empty. She also guided us to some great Italian wines. Thanks so much for a great evening! Salvio and Leo - Keep up the great work and so glad to see you overcome the COVID challenges.
James Mulinski
This place is great! We got right in and seated (granted it was a Monday night) and from start to finish an excellent experience. The food was amazing, I had the steak and potatoes, my wife the wild boar rigatoni. Most of all… our waitress, Lauren hit the mark throughout the night. She made sure the food and service was consistent and amazing. Great place to celebrate birthdays, meetings, family events or intimate nights out. Five stars!
Korey McMahon
Our best stop of our trip. The food was delicious and made me feel like I was back in Cinque Terre. To make the experience even better, Johanna was a marvelous server. She offered fantastic wine pairings while seamlessly chatting with our young children. Highly recommend for authentic and delicious cuisine and outstanding service.
Sashin Aluwihare
Great house made pastas with good service. Loved the spaghetti with spicy meatballs. Great atmosphere.
G. A.
Enjoyed two dinners here (three evenings apart) made special by the affable, knowledgeable and simply delightful wait staff —applause for servers Carrie and Jensen and barman Cody. The place fills up early and can get noisy, but the overall experience was a big “yes!” The menu, perhaps due to COVID issues is somewhat limited but the dishes (and Cody’s great mixes) are tasty and well executed.
Maitri Soga
The BEST happy hour spot! And it’s everyday!! The food was amazing and half off during happy hour!
Amir Shevat
A very nice restaurant in the center of Seattle. We were here for lunch and the place was super friendly. Great service, great delicious food. The steak was awesome and the pasta was fantastic. We will definitely come back to this place again.
Hal Brodsky
High End Italian Farm to Table without all the pasta
David Olsen
The food was spectacular. Full stop. We had the Stinco di agnello and the fettuccine ai gamberi etc limone. The lamb melted off the bone and in your mouth and the pasta was fresh and exquisite. Profiteroles and limoncello finished the meal in a similar fashion. Exceptional! The staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Definitely recommended...
Dave
Cinque Terre is a decent Italian dining sit down restaurant in the heart of Amazon HQ with friendly staff and fun decor. There is plenty of seating and the bread is good. Had a nice little seafood dinner here with the lady.
Started with the White Ahi appetizer, I think they tried really hard to shock your taste buds with salty, sour and spice. We appreciate the effort but honestly, the Ahi took a back seat to this dish and I couldn't tell it's freshness underneath all the flavors.
The seafood fettuccine was great! The prawns and ikura made a very simple dish more interesting and every ingredient was balanced.
The clam dish was done up with pesto which came out decent but a little too green...think matcha latte..putting the color aside..the dish fell a little short because the clams were overdone and chewy, more sand than I would like and a little cold. This dish needs to be steaming with some crustinis and much more garlic..
We are very critical because of our high expectations from restaurants..and although I didn't give Cinque Terre very high marks, I appreciate the effort and may try it again and see what else they have to offer.

Had dinner at Cinque Terre. Our waitperson, Kadianne, was attentive and pleasant. I ordered the pasta special with mushrooms, peas, pancetta (I think) in a light cream sauce. It was good but a bit salty, probably due to the pancetta. I ordered a side of mixed vegetables and they were colorful and delicious. Enjoyed the good food and service. Fortunately we had a late reservation so it quieted down—way too noisy to converse earlier.
Liza Sandoval
Food was very good, but our server was horrible we sat there for 30 min before she showed up we order our drinks we waited 15 min now we have been there for 45 min. she just wasn't paying attention for the things we asked for, we asked for Margaritas w/ salt of course they came with out so we asked her to brings us 2 glasses with salt she never did we asked the busser and he did 15 mins after we asked her so now one hour has gone by and we finally get to try our Margaritas. We order 3 apptezier and she forgot to bring us bread for our Mussels and clams. We were there for 2hrs and 15min We never did order our entrée, dessert or coffee. Very bad service. We went across the street to Barolo for entrées food was good.
Matt
Delicious food, kind service, and reasonably priced. The chicken parmigiana and the pesto pasta was wonderful. I also recommend asking for the fresh bread, it was so good! We’ll definitely be back.
Joe Sosa
Quaint location. Not noisy but a vibrant area. Friendly staff answers your questions. Well-prepared, presented food. Tasty. From starters to desert, delectable. Drinks too. Quite a nice dinner for 2. And you can expect the same results a second time - just as enjoyable
Jake Walker
Our family of three were seated along the window where we could see our food being prepared. I had the wild boar rigatoni, and my wife had the lamb. Will definately return for more burrata!
Shivanjali Gupta
Authentic Italian food with nice ambience. Perfect for date night. Tiramisu was best till date in Seattle.
I C
Very authentic delicious dishes. Each dish was really good. Small exception was seafood soup was bit on the salty side.
Susan Brinkerhoff
The food is pretty good but go early because the din is deafening later. I do not enjoy having to shout to be heard by my dining companions.
Stacey Richburg
Amazing place to visit if you are visiting Seattle or if you live here. The food and service was great. I enjoyed everything. The next time I am visiting Seattle, I will definitely drop in.
Michael Kirby
We had the lamb ossobuco and the wild boar rigatoni. Both were very good. Rigatoni was very al dente. Also had some oyster appetizers and green salad with goat cheese and roasted tomato vinaigrette. And four glasses of wine pushed the bill to over $100 per person. I felt it was worth it.
Nick Belovoskey
Bread just like mama used to make. Kadianne was our waitress and provided excellent service. I’d say, you’d probably like this place!
Janelle Duey
Had a fabulous dinner. Kadieanne was an amazing waitress and very attentive. 10/10 would recommend.
Christopher Teeny
Great food and great service! Drinks were well balanced and the bread to start was phenomenal. I had the rabbit pasta and as the waitress said, severely under-rated.
W P
Claya was incredible. The food is great and the service was top notch! Claya deserves a trip to Cinque Terre!
John Deodato
The service and food are very good, and the house-made pasta is worth the visit, but the wine list falls a little short. You get the feeling the place is just trying too hard to be hip, with a vibe that is not authentic or rustic Italian in any way. Having just returned from Rome, I wanted to suggest they spend a weekend in Trastevere.
Alex Luft
Excellent restaurant for a date night. Great vibes, great cocktails, and great pasta. Ask for Carrie as your waitress, she was a complete pro and she really elevated the experience for us. We couldn’t decide what get and she recommended we split two dishes and she coursed it out for us so each dish came one at a time. Thanks for a great dinner! We’ll be back.
Bethany Bayless
Such amazing service by our server Lauren! We were well taken care, despite being a group of six with different dietary needs. Lauren had a strong knowledge of the menu and she was kind to recommend something that would work for each of us. Italian seafood is not typically my first choice, but I would come back because the service was excellent.
Akshat Mane
Great food and the servers were very good as well. The place was busy but the service was fast.
Sandra (Vikingsandra)
I'm from Italy and this pizza was legit! Very good, Naples style. The ingredients were surely fresh, the service was really good and the staff was friendly but wasn't interrupting constantly. I liked the atmosphere too. I'm definitely going back 👏
Sergey Kolbin
I really liked this restaurant in the past but since this year they lowered customer experience and quality of cooking. Now we typically have to wait for ~1 hour between making and order and when food is ready. As for food preparation, they have great recipes, but sloppy execution. I ordered beef twice as medium rare and the first time it was well done while the second time it was raw.
kratika gupta
Loved the entire dining experience. Carrie was amazing. Took care of all of our taste requirements and went above and beyond in making my birthday special. Just love her!! Will 100% recommend for a nice romantic dining experience!
Janet
We went for lunch on Sunday at Cinque Terre and their bread and water was the star of the show! Their bread is freshly made from their oven and their sparkling and still water is equipped with Crysalli Artisan Water System making it even more unique. I was blown away and thought we were off to a great start but my hopes quickly disappeared when the real food came along.
My husband asked the server if they have the spaghetti with clams and white wine sauce and the waiter kept nodding and placed that on our order. Next thing you know, they brought out spaghetti with clams and PESTO. For the record, white wine sauce does not equal to pesto and of course the taste was noticeably different.
After feeling not so impressed with our pasta orders, we were looking forward to ordering dessert. I thought maybe our experience might bring it back to positive again. We ordered the panna cotta and when it arrived, my family and I could not help staring at it in shock. For a fancy expensive restaurant like this, we were appalled that even a strawberry with mold would escaped onto the dessert plate. It is understandable to see strawberries molding in store-bought packages or in the fridge due to moisture. However, to see one on my plate and at a "posh Italian fare" (as Google map says) is shocking. I have attached a picture of our dessert. Keep your eyes fixed on the bottom left strawberry. If you are lucky, you will see the white speck of mold on it.
Overall, our food was mediocre and seeing / thinking about that strawberry has definitely convinced me NOT to come back. Besides the need to clarify with their staff that white wine sauce does not equal to pesto, perhaps they should also enhance their quality control team.
Like I mentioned in the beginning, I was impressed with the bread and water. Since they are complimentary, order as much as you can in case the real food you order is not so appetizing.
Peter Baird
Fist time in Seattle, Cinque Terre was recommended to us by the hotel concierge, I can’t thank him enough. The smiling face when you enter the front door set the tone for the evening, Jessica our server guided us through the menu with great food and wine suggestions and was attentive without being intrusive or interrupting. The balance of flavors in the food was perfect and every bit was better than the last.
I think the best complement I can pay is it was one of the best meals I’ve eaten and if we lived locally this would be a regular haunt.
Lavanya Ks
The restaurant is located at the heart of seattle, adjacent to amazon spheres. It had great ambience and outdoor seating. They have great nachos!
Food is decent.
Elizabeth Kaye Sortun
Run don’t walk to Cinque Terre! Our favorite is Kadianne in the bar on Sunday for happy hour. The food, the service is unparalleled. Everything is perfection. If you want lunch or dinner, don’t hesitate, it’s fantastic. Plus free parking next door.
Norm Slonaker
Dinner last night was great. Lauren took very good care of us. Authentic Italian food, healthy portions, nice wine selection and attentive staff. Will definitely return soon.
Rob Parker
Mostly good meals. We had a lentil soup that we sent back but the wait Staff was gracious
Vic Damone
This place was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and food but Eric and Lana really made our experience special. We will make sure to come back here just to see Eric.
Taylor Mulinski
Lauren was incredible! We were a 5 top with no reservation, the host was able to get us seated right away on a Monday night! The staff here at Cinque Terre Ristorante are very friendly and helpful. Lauren, you helped make my husband's birthday, thank you! :)
Dylan Clayton-Hazen
Kadianne was amazing she deserves a raise. Food and service was amazing
Red Owen
I had friends in town visiting me and one of them randomly chose this place because it was close to their hotel and had good reviews. My party and I started with the carpaccio, burrata, and mussels. I feasted on the wild boar sugo for my main course... The food, service, and ambiance was fantastic.
I'm looking forward to heading back there to try their happy hour as soon as I find an excuse to be in that part of town again.
ashlee yost
Amazing food. Had the grilled octopus, prosciutto and burrata cheese, and seafood stew. Died and went to heaven eating this food. Also had the wild boar rigatoni- Least favorite part of the meal.
Gordon Brown
The food and service were great, but not exactly what I was thinking of. Food was fancier than I was looking for, and enough Italian in the menu to make selection challenging. Still, a very pleasant experience.
Molly
I had to write a review because Tiffany saved the day and she is truly amazing. :) She went above and beyond for me and my team. We had a great team cocktail hour and it was all because of her! Tiffany, if all people could be as kind and accommodating as you, the world would be a better place--thank you.
Also, shout-out to Zoe for your flexibility and class while dealing with our group; it's so appreciated.
Two top notch people and I'll definitely be back. See you soon!
Vin Fri
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. We were a part of 7 and every entre was fantastic.
Winnie Walter
Good for group and seafood fan. Pasta dishes were good, but dessert was weak.
Marianne Clarke
Kadianne is a terrific server. Happy hour is a great deal. The food is delicious and the wine superb!
Jan LaCroix
This restaurant was amazing. We went on Sunday for a full dinner and then went back on Monday for salad and pizza. Outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the presentation awesome
Shane Lambert
The food was amazing. Great seafood dishes.

From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, we felt like valued guests. We were nestled into a booth next to the window that provided excellent people watching. Carrie, our server, was extraordinary. Her service and knowledge of the menu provided us with excellent recommendations. I visited during fall restaurant week and the standard menu looked so good I knew I had to return. We started with some cocktails, a bottle of wine and the wagyu beef carpaccio. My dad said his Manhattan was the best he’s had. I’ll dream about the house-made focaccia until the next time I go. And the olive oil for dipping was definitely high quality. All of our entrees (braised lamb, chicken parmigiana, and pesto with prawns) were outstanding. We ordered a second bottle of wine to get us through our meal and dessert (lemon lavender pana cotta and the in-house tiramisu, yumm!!!!). Can’t wait to come back, such a great spot.
Charlie Gruenwald
Great ambiance, delicious food, fresh local ingredients
Jake Rogers
The food was fantastic but our waitress Lauren was the real star of the show, hands down sweetest waitress we’ve ever had and I feel like I can say I have a friend in Seattle now. Lauren your awesome 11/10 would recommend
Paula E
Came here after a Mariners game, with reservations. We had a starter of Calamaretti alla piastra which everyone loved. Then an order of Rigatoni al cinghiale (wild boar) which was an exceptional dish, an order of Fettuccine ai gamberi e limone, delicious and lastly an order of Spaghetti con polpettine. All dishes were large portions. The server and waitstaff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was full but did not feel crowded or loud. We will come back soon.
J. Blake Barnes
This a nice little downtown spot for dates and people watching. LOL! The food was great. I ordered lamb and it was enough for two and very succulent. 😍 I had a few other appetizers, the squid and octopus pretty good if you like trying different seafood. Our waitresses Victoria was great and gave good recommendations. I will be back again.
Haleigh Beaman
HEATED TOILET SEATS. Best experience of my life. Amazing food too, but the toilet seat??!
Michael Garcia
Delicious chicken parm! Would have liked pasta as a side with it. Wood oven pizza was good. Good service.
Tina P
One of the only places to meet people for lunch in downtown Seattle. The food is always good (order Italian foods) and ambiance is nice.
Nicole Balram
One of our favorite places in the world. The food is excellent! Happy hour is always fun.
We highly recommended the carpaccio and the oysters!
Christina, our server the last couple of time we visited, is always attentive and amazing with a smile!
Lastly, the tiramisu (my fav dessert) is the best we have ever had! That’s saying a lot considering our foodie travels.
This place is always a win win!
K S
We first went to Cinque Terre with a reservation on a Wednesday. We showed up and were seated immediately. We had the chef appetizer, the lemon fettuccine with prawns, and prosciutto pizza. The chef appetizer, which being delicious, was a little underwhelming for $20. The pasta and prawns were spectacular, a little too citrusy for my taste but still well cooked. The pizza was also delicious, the amount of prosciutto was very surprising! They really pile it on there.
We returned the next night after getting engaged as we had such a good meal the previous night. We made a reservation online, and my fiancée noted we had been engaged that day and would be celebrating there that evening. The server Carrie congratulated us and immediately asked if we wanted champagne to celebrate, only to find out later that the champagne was $24 a glass! This took our total from $68 to $126. We don't mind paying for good food and drinks, but it felt like we were deceived with the champagne. The restaurant definitely seemed short staffed, and the service was far from great the second night. We also decided to try the pesto ricotta pasta and Calebrese pizza, both which weren't as good as the two dishes we had the previous night.
Honestly a very disappointing ending to very special day. I wish we received the same service and food we did the first night, that experience was spectacular. Unfortunately we probably won't be back for a while.
Tina Sharma
We went on a Monday before the happy hour ended and 630 pm and the prices were very good. My friends got the pasta. There is also gluten free pasta but not gluten free pizza. The cheese plate was nice too. All good and drinks were half off if I’m not wrong. The pizza was okay.
Zita Chen
We had a great dinner there. The ambience was pretty good. Food is in good portion. The restaurant is very clean and fancy.
Anna Joswiak
Stopped in on a whim, it happened to be their Sunday all day happy hour! We had amazing food and wine, and our server Jessica was great! We will definitely be coming back!
Emily Hedrick
We have one thing to say: we can Hartley wait to come back. The espresso martinis were amazing. Glad he recommended the tiramisu for dessert - really great suggestion for my pallet.
Alli Keeley
Delicious! Loved the octopus and oysters. Also has great cocktails.
Trish Blank
Friendly professional service, great food, lovely ambiance. The manager & our waitress were both very attentive. We had 3 courses & enjoyed everything from the cheese plate to the clams & chicken parmesan. We had a relaxing & enjoyable time.
Debora deSouza
Fabulous all around. Amazing drinks, our server Lauren was incredible. The osobucco is to die for so is zuppa de pesce!!? Everything was so good we asked to speak with the chef, Eric, for the great meal. The ambience elegant and comfortable. Will have to come back for more. Highly recommend.
Laura S
I came here for my anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and the service was great. The chicken parmigiana was the best we have tried around Seattle. The entire staff made the night feel even more special. We will definitely be coming back!
Christine Hein
Absolutely amazing service from Kadianne! Food is amazing, and we all had a wonderful time. Definitely make your way here if you are in Seattle:)
Diana Popa
Delicious pizZa! Ordered the fettucine with gulf prawns and they were also excellent!
Dan Le
food and service was good but it feels like the kitchen was a bit slow
Julie Zimmerman
Very enjoyable meal - waitress (Kadianne) very attentive and helpful with suggestions- highly recommend
Cassandra Shelby
Cody was amazing working behind the bar making amazing drinks as well as working tables. Amazing personality exceptional attention to detail . My first time at Cinque Terrence Cody made my experience amazing! And will definitely visit again
michael slaughter
I know times are tough to find workers. But it seemed service was very slow for the appetizers and entree dishes. Friendly staff but food was definitely lacking. About the only thing I would order from them again is the chocolate boudine or their canaolis. Everything else was so so. Hopefully others have had better experiences. Also portion size was tiny...
Nala Comstock
Jessica made this place feel like HOME. She is possibly the most wonderful server I have ever had. Made our friend Tiffany feel incredibly special on her big day! Cheers
Donna Rosser
We had such a fabulous meal here! I had pasta with shrimp and my dinner partner had the Fagoili soup. It was incredible! Colin was a superb waitor. Highly recommend!!
Anya Gessesse
Great octopus and bread, everything else was meh
Huong Phan
Love the happy hours. Food is great at reasonable price.
rayray
This place has a lot of options and the food is great. I came here for a friend's birthday and we were sitting at a big table in the corner with nice lights. The vibe is perfect! There're a lot of overpriced and overrated Italian places in Seattle but this one is nice and easier to get a table.
Aniruddha Daptardar
Great food. Great service. We had a team event with about 15 people here. They assigned us a nice corner table to ourselves which was super good. There were two servers assigned to us and both were knowledgeable and helpful. Food portions were bigger than we were expecting but the quality was up to the mark. Daily specials( Octopus) was tasty. First encounter for me with a non chewy octopus as promised by the server. Their wine selection was super elaborate as well.
Overall highly recommend this place for work or personal enjoyment.
Gavin Martin
Food was decent. Desserts almost bigger than the entree!
Alejandro “Alex” Mendieta
It was delicious! I got the rigatoni pasta, and I couldn’t be more satisfied!
ian taylor
One of the best meals I've had in Seattle, and I've lived here all my life. Absolutely outstanding food, cocktails and service.
Jody LeWitter
Delicious Italian food,, wonderful service in a roomy modern atmosphere.
Shubhangi Shrivastava
Excellent service and very friendly staff. The Panna Cotta was scrumptious. Will recommend the place.

This was my first trip out to Seattle for a long weekend from Upstate NY. I am lucky to come from an area full of authentic Italian. Some Italian have more of a sweet or a bit garlic taste, it's all personal preference. I like both. So what makes good Italian is flavor and precision of the cook. To start of the meal we ordered a bottle of wine the server never offered us to take to make sure it was good and just poured it out. We ordered some appetizers but they never came out. Now onto the main meals, the menu had a number of fantastic sounding dishes, we ended up with a risotto which the rice was under done but the flavor was good. A gnocchi dish was very good (to me) my friend didn't care for the gnocchi itself. The last dish was a pasta dish that I cant recall the name which the pasta was over done and hard. Long story short the dinner left us unimpressed. The restaurant and staff seamed overwhelmed for how busy it was, I would give it another chance on a slower night.
Josephine Schaaf (Florida-Hawaii)
Fabulous! Best Octopus.... EVER!
M Harlow
The pandemic and supply chain issues have affected the menu. Pasta is now an additional cost and mashed potatoes are the side at this Italian restaurant. The anchovies are not the usual silver ones and now its thievery salty canned type. We will wait to go back.
Dennis Kornbluh
Loved the oysters. The squid and potatoes dish was excellent -- more tender than I expected. Good wine selection. The pear tart was rich and delicious. I liked it better than the profiteroles, but both were very good. Great service, modern decor.
Sherri Widen
We love Cinque Terre. The service is attentive but not too much and the Italian menu is excellent. I ordered the Fettuccine ai gamberi e limone (fettuccini with prawns and lemon) and it was sssoooooo good. This is the third time I've ordered it and it's delicious every time. They also have bread so good that it is irresistible.
Jason Baker
Amazing food. My party tried many different dishes. Each one was just as good as the last. Probably the best spaghetti I've ever had, period. All pasta is hand Ade and it sure taste like it. Oysters were great, but wouldn't expect anything different when you can see the ocean a few streets away. Great location, easy to get to.
Leah Adams
Standard Italian menu. I wasn't particularly impressed, nor overly disappointed. There are too many restaurants in Seattle to bother returning here.
Dario Vallarino
Incredible Italian food. Pizza was napolitan style. Great wine, Chianti. Hearty portions. Service was good as well. There was an issue with an order but they comped the mistake as well as free dessert which was really tasty.
Anthony Monaco
THE SERVICE: First and foremost, Rachel ("with the tattoos") is hands down the best server I've ever had. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, not overbearing, and just a pleasure whenever she came to the table. She elicited honest feedback from us about the food and wine too.
THE FOOD: All meats were done to perfection. From Octopus to steak, to boar, all perfect. Gnocchi was great too (sliced instead of whole pillows if anyone cares). The potatoes and beans were very undercooked. The house made bread was amazing (tho you'll need to ask for extra of the fabulous dipping oil).
Michael Ianni-Palarchio
Great food! Very friendly service. We ordered take out and it is very authentic and freshly made. Would definitely recommend.
Shad Kearns
Great Mexican restaurant quick service
jason pham
Interesting Italian restaurant experiences, the menu has a little bit of everything done pretty well, from grill meats to seafood and pasta and pizza. Fairly authentic flavors, the happy hour is really good with half off all of the bar food menu. The space is pretty huge and very modern, the staff is pretty good and attentive.
Marc Cutler
Great food... Excellent service and awesome drinks.
Ryan Unger
Had dinner here with my wife. We both agreed that this is a great restaurant and we will definitely return. The rigatoni with wild boar was one of, if not the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The bread was very good, the salumi board was awesome.
I can't remember what the dessert was called but it had a puff pastry, salted caramel gelato and chocolate drizzle. It was outstanding.
Service was top notch as well. Awesome staff.
Pete Klein
Food, drink, and service are good and consistent. I had the tomahawk pork chop, which was a special, last night. The preparation and sides we're good, just slightly over-cooked for me, which bummed me out because I asked the waiter for medium rare and he talked me into medium. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
David Ansel
Our new favorite restaurant in Seattle. Best mussels we've had in ages, in a pesto so rich and so well matched wanted to drink it. Pizza was interesting and bold. Pasta with butter sage mushrooms was subtle and sublime. One appetizer didn't quite work (asparagus) and the server was friendly, efficient, but a little too informal and familiar... but maybe that's just our East Coast roots showing. Loved this place.
Erica Woods
AMAZING!!! Service - AMAZING! Food - AMAZING!! Atmosphere - AMAZING!!! So grateful for the wonderful humans who took such great care of my teammates and I. Will definitely return and HIGHLY recommend!
Maria Beck
Had a lunch with my friend and everything was perfect. Very knowledgeable people and the food was super fresh and delicious. Loved the atmosphere and the engagement. Already scheduled our second lunch same place next month. Btw: the focaccia bread was perfection! :-)
Tracy Van Lone
Ate lunch here on an incredibly busy day - Amazon's "Bring your parent to work day" - and Cinque Terre was one of the Amazon lunch venue options for parents. The line at the hostess desk was out the door and the restaurant was obviously working under duress. Despite this, servers and kitchen staff alike we're prompt, courteous, and smiling. The limited menu still offered deliciously tempting lunch items. Our food was served in courses, quickly, but not too quickly. We ordered the Casarecce - fabulous, by the way - while dining at the kitchen bar. We enjoyed watching chefs work furiously while remaining collected and keeping the galley clean and pristine. I can't wait to come back to try a few of the shellfish dishes that were prepared under our watch!
Bernie Macias
This a very nice restaurant. Staff was attentive and pleasant. The food quality was high, but tastiness was mehh. The lamb meat quality was excellent, but really lacked a distinct wow favor. Pizza was lack luster. Clams and octopus was excellent and tasty. The cured pork belly was some of the best I've ever had.
Tyler Hill
This was a nice place for an Italian lunch in the midst of Amazon city. We were quickly seated and very much enjoyed the bread and olive oil. For lunch I had the best salad and it was very tasty.
The prices were high enough to keep the place from being too full at lunch which was very nice. I recommend the place.
Sarah Feidt
Impeccable food, generous portions, refreshing and light atmosphere, and capable unobtrusive staff (Jessica was great!). Flawless celebratory lunch out, thank you!
Ankita Bhagat
Classic Italian food. The portion looks small but with all the cheese and sauces you will get full. The ambience is really good. And so is the service. Location is right in the heart of Seattle. Overall great experience. Take your date here and he/she will for sure will love it if they like Italian food.
Joseph Peters-Mathews
Cinque Terre was a good place to stop for lunch. We appreciated how quickly we were seated and thought the pricing was fair. My husband's "open face" meatball "sandwich" was an excellent excuse to have meatballs on bread, and he enjoyed his potato salad immensely. I enjoyed my bucatini dish as well. I really liked that all the pasta is easy to find on the menu and that it's made daily on site. Great for lunch if you're in the area, dinner is probably even better.
Nick McCann
Great spot for a working lunch in downtown Seattle. They’ll turn your table fast. Kadianne and all the staff are excellent.
Bernie
We came here for our 1st wedding anniversary and everything we ordered tasted great! The service we received from Carrie was outstanding!!! We'd definitely eat here again and we highly recommend it.
Cat Pham
Mediocre. Bread was cold, calamari was too salty, main dishes not impressive, but doable. Server was very sweet though and I appreciated his good attitude.
Jhon Escobar
I was scrolling through Seated when I was Cinque Terre and decided to book. The second my date and I walked up to the restaurant, we were impressed by the look and feel of the place. They offered to take our coats, and brought us sparkling water and some (absolutely amazing, fresh baked) bread right off the bat.
The menu is pricey, but everything we ordered was amazing. The waiter was very attentive, and willing to make changes based on my diet sensitivities. I ordered the lobster tail, which normally comes with Gnocchi in a cream sauce, and the waiter instantly suggested a way to tweak the recipe so there was no cream, and all the food still complimented itself.
My date ordered the Fettuccine so Coniglio, a rabbit ragu pasta, and that was also absolutely amazing. The waiter also anticipated that we would be sharing our meal, and brought us extra plates.
Overall the experience was very positive, and I will be dreaming about that food for a long time.
Dave Bai
Friendly service and the free parking is awesome!
joe schmoe
Great food and a nice ambiance. Our server Deborah was awesome and made the whole meal more enjoyable. The pasta with rabbit was especially good. The pork belly with fennel goat cheese spread was an excellent appetizer.
Lena J
Our waiter was amazing and extremely helpful. Attentive to all our needs especially since I had my three year old with me.
Edward Bunker
I've been going to Borolo for years so you can imagine my excitement to learn about this place. Everything and I mean everything is perfect other then one small thing. The poor oyster shucker is basically in the dark. He still did a good job but small pieces of shell. Probably because he can't see it is too dark for him. Already shared this with Facebook and food groups. Love this spot and will be back over and over again. 😛
Joe Chan
The pizza and pasta were very good. Ambiance of the restaurant is "smart casual" and the location is great, right next to Amazon Spheres and their free parking (in the evening).
Reason for the 3 stars is due to the service and long wait time for food. Our server was awkward and the busboys kept trying to clear our plates while we were still eating and wanted to take away an appetizer dish that was still half full... very questionable. Given this is a somewhat formal restaurant, which states 20% gratuity fee for larger parties, I would expect smarter service.
Wait time for the food was too long. I understand our orders may have landed after a large party, but regardless it was too long and our server never gave us an update.
Alex Nguyen
Wow my favorite Italian resturant! Such a beautiful resturant with a yummy menu. First off the bread was amazing, best bread at an Italian restaurant hands down. Now for the food it came fast and presented beautifully. The food was super hot and so flavorful. Perfect texture to the noodles, it makes sense that all is homemade and farm to table! Highly recommend!
Bekah Manikowski
We went to the Happy Hour which served generous portions but was still a little pricey. We shared a prosciutto platter and a happy hour pizza. Service was slow, but it was fun to sit right next to the pizza oven and watch their work.
Youya Jun
Normally I am a very picky person giving 1 star to most of the resterant. But this one is beyond my expectation. Food is fresh and tasty. I ordered 42 dollars seafood combination. The Dressing is too much and salty. I have to drink a lot of water after that. But the food is very fresh. There are two lobsters in the dish which is tasty. Price is expensive, but I don't care because my company paided it. Waiter is attentive and experience is very good. Give 4 star.
Matt Mead
Great place to eat. Solid happy hour (late night) program with an upscale but relaxed atmosphere. Was pleasantly surprised by how much I ordered for how much I spent. $20 bottle of wine is unheard of but for this restaurant group.
Judy Pham
I have been here twice and service is terrific. The seafood and pasta dishes are all amazing. I had the fettuccine pasta with jumbo prawns and it was so delicious although a tad buttery (maybe that’s a good thing). I had their crab pasta and it was a little too al dente but still tasty!
Ed Chavez
Excellent food, excellent ambiance, excellent/knowledgeable service/staff. Appetizer boards, cheeses, extensive wines, pasta, seafood, meat mains. Evil desserts. Oh yeah, pizza too!
Great for groups and more intimate settings. Full bar. Paid parking only - if you can afford to eat here, you can afford parking :) That said, it's pricey and worth it. Reservations definitely recommended.
Laura Bensona
We truly enjoyed a relaxed slow pace meal. We started with the prosciutto and burrata and the beet and Gorgonzola. Nice and light- perfect start. I enjoyed the fettuccini with rabbit ragu, a friend had the gnocchi with veal, and the other two shared the 36 oz tomahawk- perfectly prepared. We also really enjoyed our desserts as well- tiramisu and profiteroles. Joey, our server made great recommendations and was very friendly. We highly recommended.
Dan anacker
I went here with my wife a for a date night and thought we would try something new. I liked the menu however I'm not sure about the portions or flavor. I'm giving this 4 stars purely due to our service. Our server Katie was amazing, she answered our questions about the menu, recommended great wine and was really the star of an average meal.

We stopped here after dinner for dessert and drinks. Both were great ..grappa and limoncello for the win...
Jordan Babbitt
Just a quick 4 top for my birthday but Hartley and Ryan made me (us) feel like a 10 top. So attentive, great suggestions and ultimately, an experience to remember. Thanks for a great 33, I’ll be back for sure.

I've traveled to different parts of Italy and really enjoy and know my Italian food. One of the reasons I dont frequent Italian restaurants outside Italy is due to my high expectations. This place is not going to bring you back to Italy but will at least take care of your cravings to Mangia Mangia. The ambiance is dim and sexy, not too loud and the service pretty good. One of the few places in the USA that I will order grilled octopus, a dish that most US restaurants dont get right. Whats very impressive is their happy hour, good options with outstanding values I recommend and am a return customer.
Katie Yamada
The music was a little loud and intense for lunchtime. The food was good, not spectacular but good. I had the bistecca which had some sort of horseradish sauce on the side. There was also a small pile of arugula, a potato salad with mustard seed and some bell pepper side. So basically, 3/4 of the dishes were bitter (don't get me wrong, I love bitter food) but the flavor palette was not balanced at all. I'm the kind of person that takes a eats a little of everything in the same bite and all the sides with the steak just... didn't mix well. The steak was good, it could've had a little bit more flavor and was supposed to be medium rare but was definitely medium in some parts.
Prasanna Venkateswaran
Awesome food especially the vegetarian platter and ginger beer. Has a nice ambience too. To top it, the waiters were very cordial and gave great food suggestions. Must try if you are visiting Seattle downtown.
D
Mixed...Bobby our waiter, wine adviser was out of this world. Saturday lunch not so good. Over dressed salad-soggy pizza-dry pesto pasta. Tiramisu just lacked. Space was fun, great hosts, super wine selection but food boring.
Ken Bergmann
A diverse menu means something for everyone. The service was smooth and quick. Great option for a classy lunch when you don't have a ton of time. There was a delightful crunch to the salad and I'd definitely try it again.

Raphael was phenomenal! We came in to celebrate a milestone in life and Raphael was knowledgeable, professional, very welcoming, knew so much about the food and wine pairings, personable and all around astounding. We will definitely return & recommend others to have an amazing experience here as we have.
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
I love their all-day happy hour menu on Sundays. We ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot for only $48. The fair was delicious and included seafood, pasta, salad and much more. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to my friends when they are in town.
Paul Buehrens
Light, great location. Lauren our server was charming. But the food was excellent. Nothing not to like!!
Giorgio Natili
It was a busy night and the service was not good as usual (a couple of drinks missing and a missed main for a guest), but it's still a nice place with nice people.
Roland M
Folks, next time you dine there, DON'T even look at the menu. Just tell your waiter, Darko, to turn this night into an amazing dining experience! He'll wow you with an amazing selection of appetizers, followed by pasta as second course, a selection of steak & fish dishes as main course, and desserts. All incredibly delicious!
Darko, your service was absolutely incredible! Thank you :)
Brandy Peters-Mayer
The food, drinks and service were delightful! David was our server, he was outstanding! Highly recommended!
Katrina Helle
Stopped by for happy hour after work with a co-worker and sat outside to enjoy the sun. (Note that the outdoor seating does have heaters that you can request to turn on if it gets chilly.) We each ordered a glass of wine and split the HH pizza. Nice size for splitting but you could definitely order it for just yourself if you wanted it as a meal. You have your choice of still or sparkling water (no additional charge for sparkling) and they give you some delicious seasoned focaccia and oil as a starter. I will definitely be back!
Tinya Anderson
The food was really, really great. Our reservations were on the early side (5:30pm on a Saturday night) and tables weren't filled up by the time we left. Our only disappointment was the service. Quite slow and not personable. Will give it another go cuz the food is yummy!
William Zhang
I went here for lunch and got the Fettuccine al Coniglio. The flavors were on point, especially the rabbit, and the portion size was enough for a meal. For the price, it was an okay experience all around. I did find myself going for the bread quite often, both because it was great and for the filler.
Carri Urbs
Each dish is a work of art, both from a visual and a culinary perspective. Delicious, with perfect portion sizes (not too much, not too little)! Vegetarian friendly, but also caters to omnivores. LOVED it!
joseph strickland
Great restaurant. We Just flew into Seattle and got to our hotel and was looking for a place close to grab some food for a late lunch and stumbled upon this gem. The first thing I loved about our expierence was our server Raphael. He was very knowledgeable, super friendly and attentative. The food was awesome as well, we had the carpaccio, the oysters, mussels and the bolognaise gnocchi. We
Loved it all and were very happy
Kimberly A
Oysters were so salty, they numbed my toungue. Service was ok,not much personality. Happy hour menu had a lot of options , we had one of everything, it all lacked seasoning, and flavor.
e m
Food has never been a disappointment here. It remained consistent with every visit. Service is usually good but may be slow during off peek hours.
Brian Krueger
Great authentic Italian, extensive menu. We had a party of 8 including 6 adults and two kids (ages 10 and 12). There was something for everyone. Three in our party had pizza and we all had a pizza to share as an appetizer. Excellent pizza and crust was done to perfection, best wood-fired pizza in Seattle. Also steak carpaccio as a starter, probably the largest serving I've ever seen--if there were just two of us dining, it would have made me rethink my entree knowing the size. I had the spaghetti with lamb meatballs. I know it sounds odd to get excited about spaghetti, but the pasta was thinner than normal spaghetti and homemade, which made all the difference. My wife had agnolotti (ricotta and spinach stuffed ravioli sauteed in a butter sage sauce), it was also excellent. Other members of our party were wowed with their entrees as well. By the time dessert rolled around, we decided to share tiramisu and it was the best we have had since being in Naples. Great new restaurant for Seattle!
Chin Fong
Really great food. They had a nice sparkling red wine and awesome seafood. Also the bread was really good. Our waiter Darko was also really cool and provided excellent service.
Akanksha Sharma
This restaurant is in prime location. Food and ambiance is good. I would not mind going there again.
Stacey Jonson
Great atmosphere and yummy food!
Nikhil Verma
The food was great good, the server polite and with a great sense of humor.
They have a good collection of wines to be paired with their food.
All in all, a pleasant experience.
Amy McCoy
Had a wonderful dinner at Cinque Terre, great food, lovely decor and a very friendly staff. Chris the host was so fun and hospitable! Highly recommend it!
Mark Yambor
A very modern Italian restaurant with superb service and food to boot. A great location in the heart of downtown. The restaurant has large windows which let in a great amount of natural light and make it an excellent place to people watch as you wait for your meal. I would certainly dine here again.
Sonja Moore
Such yummy food! The servers are also incredibly patient. If you have a question, or many, about the menu, they will happily give you an answer. If you are in the mood for great Italian food, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to you!
Wei Huang
The pasta is great here, as is the appetizer and house made bread with olive oil. Our server recommended a nice bottle of red, made good suggestions for pasta. It was a nice dining experience
Tegan Tigani
Chic space, extensive and delicious menu, and professional staff. We tried seasonal specials-- a lightly dressed salad of leafy greens, a rich garbonzo and red pepper soup that hinted at pizza (in a tasty if unexpected way), a spinach fettucini primavera full of fresh veggies, and a pizza with asparagus and truffle cheese. All were wonderful. We want to come back with a bigger party to taste more, like the mussels and whole branzino. When our server got detained by an upstairs group, our wine got behind our entrees. To make up for it, he generously brought us free profiteroles; he knew the way to our table's hearts! A fun, elegant, fulfilling and filling night.
Michael Merhej
Excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere is the easiest way to describe Cinque Terre. I don't write reviews often, but I find myself coming back over and over again for the quality and value Cinque Terre offers so I'm doing my part and letting the rest of Seattle in on this gem. Hint: check out the Happy Hour!
Pritam
This is awesome place. Location is good and has parking right in same building. Food is amazing. Service is awesome too. Menu has few options but every option is delicacy. Nice and tasty. Service was very personal, right spice and cheese made to individuals. Definitely must go if you like Italian.
P I

Fit in without reservations. Fantastic people and atmosphere. PHENOMENAL food.
Angela Fraser
Truly fantastic! Service was prompt and attentive. The food was amazing from the bread with oil and herbs to my pasta dish Agnolotti con Burrell salvia, to the best ever Affogato. I was too busy enjoying everything that I forgot to take pics!
Shannon H
Good food, lots of meat and seafood dishes, only one entree selection without meat. We had a reservation and our table was waiting when we walked through the door. Wait staff was attentive but not overly friendly.
Annette Schultz
One of my favorite places to eat in the world. Definitely my favorite in Seattle. The food is made well and the ingredients are so fresh! The wine is also very good and the selection reflects that.
Craig Ayliffe
Nice Italian food, however I believe it to be over priced.
Waiter tried to push very expensive bottles of wine.
Felt rushed to eat and leave even though they were not busy.
Kevin Huang
Super friendly staff. Good cocktails. They know how to do Octopus right. Our waiter was extremely helpful and assisted us with ordering his favorites
Amanda Williamson
We came here after trying to get a table to Barolo (sister restaurant). So glad we ended up here instead! The food, while a tiny bit pricey, was definitely worth it. The grilled octopus was AMAZING.
Marco Stretta
Update: still the best Italian in town, or close! Excellent Restaurant! We shared 'polpo', chef's salad, oysters (shigoku), agnolotti and Branzino. Great meal. The bread is homemade, great and free!! (organic as well), served with spiced extra virgin oil
Chris McCabe
The staff here was so attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. A nice surprise. The food was well thought out and tasted great. It has a nice upbeat atmosphere also. Check it out.
Gara Roda
Very good food and superb service at a reasonable price.
Kerry, our waitress was super attentive and nice even though they were very busy.
Highly recommended!
Maurice Knight
Top Italian cuisine and Staff in SLU Seattle. Michael the GM along with our server Carrie rolled out the red carpet when they discovered it was our 1st time in. If you want an experience and not just another meal. cinque terre is the place to be.
FlyHigh1010
Great Italian influenced food incl. Slow cooker ragu. Option to have it family style where every dish can be shared. Service was prefect level of friendly & attentive
Vivian Ramirez
Everything we tried was solid. Prices are great. Staff are attentive and atmosphere is great. The only problem is keeping myself from going too often!
Jeff Davies
This place has wonderful Mediterranean dishes and a great staff. We came once for dinner and once for the happy hour with extended weekend hours. There is free parking around the corner after 4pm and all weekend.
Outlaw Engineering LLC
Server was attentive and knowledgeable about recommendations and meeting our taste desires.
Orders were tasty and timely. Would recommend and will be back.
Larry O
Flavour of food was a four. Due to luke warm pizza it gets solid three. Also server dropped off all food at same time so I had to eat my lukewarm pizza first. I'll give it another shot because the pizza if hot would be a winner.
JJ Sonn
The food was amazing. Off the menu or customized by the server’s recommendation it is always tasty. The late evening happy hour pizza is a treat when it’s cold and rainy in Seattle.
Brian Hess
Great little place to eat. Food is delicious and nicely presented. The staff is friendly and very professional. The place is clean and enjoyable. Can sit outside and enjoy a nice meal or sit inside, either way the atmosphere is very enjoyable.
Betsy M.
Amazing food. Fresh pasta. Friendly faces.
Definitely can't lose with the seafood pasta.
Christine A Eagleson
Downtown favorite chic spot for foodie elevation and caviar lovers. The fresh oysters are always on point; menu highlights include the steak tartare, lavender panna cotta, and ‘bartenders handshake’ of both fernet branca and menthe on hand.
S Misra
Loved the food. And they have happy hour whole day Sunday. Service was great even though we were a big birthday group.
Jannette Bailey
Fantastic food. We ordered all the pizzas, the calamari, squid ink pasta and lentil appetizer. Everything was over the top fantastic!
Thomas Trescone
This place is always top notch, in both service and food! I also love their sister restaurants List in Belltown and Barolo which is across the street from Cinque Terre. Treat yourself today, you won't regret it!!!
ravinder goel
This place is super for happy hours. Drinks are very decently priced and have good vegetarian options. Service is awesome too. Their margherita pizza on happy hour was delicious.
Susan Polgreen
Best food/wine I’ve had in Seattle and their happy hour specials are amazing. Victoria was our server and she was excellent!
Mani Manysy
What's this thing call "date night" I call it dinner time. On the menu: Wagyu beef carpaccio, SeaBass with yummy veggies & Lamb shank with polenta!
I SWEAR the dish was way bigger then the table.
Very cozy place/nice ambiance. The dishes were way bigger then I existed. Everything tasted great.
Liesl Jaeger
They have a great happy hour- all apps are half off! It's a great place to go with a small group to share appetizers and the food is tasty.
Probably a bit expensive if you buy full price.
Letty
Absolutely amazing food! We went there for happy hour and everything was wonderful! The service was fantastic, too! Already can't wait to go back again!
Esteban Valverde
There are not enough stars to rate this place. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Wine selection is very good.
Matthew Cameron
Excellent food and service. Octopus, lamb shank, and pasta all tasty. Modern and clean lined interior. Relatively quick also but did not feel rushed. Recommend.
Cody Tappan
Great selection of Italian foods, lots of seafood in particular. The pizzas are great, thin and crispy and delicious. The entrees are definitely on the pricey side, but worth it.
Eric Ayers
The bread is to die for, I had the crab rigitoni with big lumps of crab meat. The calimari was not your garden variety breaded and fried, it was grilled with a pepper sauce. They have a nice patio seating area as well.
elizabeth fontaine
Food was amazing! Such a great service from Jessica! We really had a great night!
Eric R
One of the best happy hours in Seattle! Daily 3-6:30 and 9-11 Sundays noon-11pm
Half price in all bar food, local oysters 6 for $11. 6 beers on draft for $4.50
Select wines (white, red and rose') $5.50 a glass $19 a bottle.
Veuve Cliquot $12 a glass, $48 a bottle!
Miriana Oppici

Bryan Ross
The best pasta in town, and the service is always great!
Elizabeth Leach
This was a nice place, the happy hour was amazing. Service is so authentic and great. The dish I ordered was not exactly flavorful.
Alex Gotfredson
Pieces of broken shell in the soup, food was okay. Not sure if it's worth the hype.
Jason Stark
We has the lamb shank & Pork chop and they were phenomenal. Organic bright atmosphere was very pleasant and our whole group had a fantastic time.
Jacob Jees
Awesome food with options for vegans too. But if you are planning for a party of 8+ I would suggest talk to them in advance. We were 8 and was squeezed in to a small table at the corner!
Andy G.
Very nice waiter. Enjoyable setting. Food was good, but not especially creative or unique. Quite nice experience but doesn't jump out as incredible.
Ray Adams
Amazing place. Gives new meaning to "Ristorante." Butternut squash soup delightful, not squashy. Fettuccine al coniglio, or rabbit stew with fetucini was a rare bit of tastiness. Tirimasu a celebrated finish. Atmosphere is energetic with dynamic Amazonians everywhere.
Laura Shih
Bread and appetizers are great. Get the prosciutto and cuttlefish salad.
BB
Please go here - try their Oysters and Panna cotta and all the entre... waitstaff David and Hartley are great.

A very tasty Italian location focusing on seafood but has the basics like pizza and red meat. They've got a decent wine and desert list to boot.
Matthew Love
A flexible menu catering to a wide palette and budget, beautiful urban design, our 40th birthday bash upstairs was top notch. Some started with oysters, others with melt in your mouth wagyu carpacio, the soup du jour was divine.
Jason Taggart
Probably the best Italian restaurant Seattle has to offer. Great staff. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun and romantic. Take your date or dates there.

christopher
Great food but unfortunately the service was not up to par. Servers are amazing just seem very over worked.
Carly Quill
Great food, ambience was interesting (with clubby music and slightly harsh lighting), but service was attentive and well-timed. Parking can be a challenge, depending on the time of day.
