Other people's reviews are pretty spot on. Delicious burger. $5 gets you a normal burger with everything. An additional $2.50 gets you another beef patty, which isn't a terribly great value, but it's worth it. Fries are made to order so they're crispy, thin, and delicious! They would be like a medium size at a fast food place. Clam chowder is super generous with the clams, but not super creamy (which lactose intolerant people may like). Chicken nuggets are dark fried, crispy chicken with seasoning. Definitely higher quality than a generic chicken nugget. I'd recommend anything on the menu. Reasonable prices for decent Seattle-area burgers. 5/5 would go again

Good place for a basic smashed burger. All the food is made to order and you can enjoy it outdoors at provided tables. This is basically a stationary food truck. Burgers are fresh, fries plentiful, and service with a smile. My only constructive criticism is to make their sauces thicker.

Lovely space with tables and benches both shaded and not shaded. Service was nice and quick Burgers were great, good size and style. We preferred the classic double over the special - the lettuce and onion didn't add too much. Fries were fantastic - not too thick or thin, nice crispiness and not too salty!

No-frills burgers that will definitely make your empty stomach happy. I got a double special burger, the presentation wasn't fantastic, but it tasted great and for the price, it's got great value. Service was friendly and quick too. The food truck is located just off the 520 highway, so pretty convenient for driving but it's a bit hard to get there by public transit.

Nice little smash burger with tasty fries. The burger is good, wish it was a tad bigger - but you can order an extra patty if you'd like. The fries are what I remember McDonald's fries used to be back in the day - thin, crispy, with an enjoyable taste. The Montlake location is two permanent food trucks with outdoor tables (some covered, some not). You order at one truck, and pickup your food at the other. A cool vibe for summer nights. Plenty of free street parking. Be prepared to wait for a few minutes, it's definitely cooked to order. You receive a buzzer that will light up and vibrate when your food is ready.

Don’t let the presentation fool you, these burgers are super savory, cheesy, and delicious. Smash patties have that perfectly crispy along the edges. I got a double ‘special’ burger which has pickles, lettuce, and grilled onions. Couldn’t really taste the grilled onions because of all the other flavors going on but could tell they were there. Only complaints is that the wait was quite long for not being very busy at all and they need to wrap their burgers a little better so you don’t have to re-assemble them - photo for reference. I’ll be back, this place has great value for the food you get.

Idk if I’m always just absolutely starving when I’m here but this is just the best burger ever??? I absolutely inhale it. They were serving martinis here for a hot second during Covid and they aren’t anymore. Also they never have milkshakes idk if I’m too late for them or if they just don’t do them at this location. They put up some cute lights and the vibe right off the freeway is just perfect. Love.

Loved the food and the setting is perfect. Definitely a little slow in getting the food so would suggest ordering online ahead of time. If you're not in a hurry, though, there's decent outdoor seating options and it's a nice place to kick back!

Small burger food truck with lots of outdoor seating. Prices are not bad and the food is super tasty and cooked fresh when ordered. They do have a veggie patty option as well. A good thing to be aware of is this location is cashless and only takes cards or venmo as payment options. Totally worth checking out if you are in the area and want to try something different.

This place is adorable. It’s located right next to a giant intersection and (currently) construction site but they decorated it to be a little oasis in the traffic chaos. There are shaded picnic tables over astroturf and for whatever reason the sound of the traffic doesn’t seem to be too loud there. Food is cheap (5 bucks for a burger) and you get it in 5-10 minutes. Absolutely delicious burger and the chicken nuggets are literally just fried chicken. Honestly I feel like they are doing a disservice to the chicken by calling them nuggets because they are not the cheap deep fried chicken purée that you think of with chicken nuggets but deep fried bits of chicken thigh.

Food was good and cheap for a food truck. It was a greesy smash burger. They put a ton of grilled onions on it and I had to pull quite a bit off. If not for the entire onion I would have gave them 5 stars. Don't get me wrong either, I like grill onions as much as the next but there must have been close to 3/4 a cup on yhe burger.

We come here regularly and love this place. The outdoor space is great when you catch the weather and it’s easy enough to grab something to go when you don’t. The food is very reasonably priced, especially in Seattle, and all tastes pretty great. The veggie burger option is delicious, and the shoe string fries here slap. One side of fries is probably enough for two, unless you’re both hungry.

This is definitely the best spot for a good hamburger! They are delicious, the fries are generous (with one order of fries my husband and I can share). Is definitely worth every penny and also they are cheap out of all the burger places around Seattle. 100% recommended

I hope this construction lasts forever, because these burgers rule, the little patios are cute, and there's a semipermanent portapotty I could theoretically shower in. Also, note for the first timers, order at the left food truck. The cook in the right just wants to cook the food.

Five stars because it's perfect for what it is. Great burger for 5 or 6 bucks, outside tables, quick and handy, you can order in person or online. I like that the burger isn't a huge meal, but it's enough to carry me for another 4 or 5 hours.

Pretty meh food. No pickles onions or lettuce. Greasy meat and MacDonald style kraft cheese. No shakes at this location. chicken nuggets were kinda hard. Patio style seating was a pretty nice atmosphere though.

I’ll start off by saying this burger truly is super good, I got the special and it hits the mark from the crispy edges of the patty to the gooey American cheese, the special sauce on the side to dip is a hit too. But man, don’t get those fries. Maybe I got a bad batch, but even if they were fresh I still don’t think I’d enjoy the taste. Not sure if it’s the type of oil used or the type of potato, no idea, but it has that stale popcorn/shroom taste to it, if you know you know ;), and it almost killed my appetite pre-burger. And cmon, an extra 2.50 for what’s basically bacon bits? Nah brother. But hey if I had gotten just a burger no bacon, 5/5. My gut says the shakes are good though.

Tried the food tonight when I overheard a group talking about how great the burgers were. Honestly the burgers were extremely Good and beyond affordable!! Fries were definitely big enough to share and the guy informed before buying! The outdoor setting is very clean, welcoming and just adorable. There is a bathroom as well!!! Will definitely be returning!

Overall, a disappointing first experience. The Montlake location's fryer was down, which meant no fries or fried chicken sandwich. This limited us to order literally just burgers - we ordered a double burbs classic and a burbs special. They were decent smash burgers, although the grilled onions were non-existent on the burbs special (definitely not like their instagram photos). Also a heads up, they no longer offer shakes,

Food is good, but the place is a space case. Hours for online orders change by the day, and some of the staff are just tuned out. Tonight I asked to leave out the onions, and I was treated like I was a pain for the guy up front It’s my hood, so I deal, but they could be so much better. Well, its four months later, and the service is better, and the food is really good. The outdoor space is really nice, and I'm enjoying it all. Just wish they stayed open another hour on the weekends...

incredible food for a good price. a single deluxe burger is about 4.50 and delicious. Also have some of the best fries I've ever had. Cute location, it is like a mini turf park that always has plenty of dogs. Staff are also very friendly and prepare food in a timely manner. I'm excited to try the rest of their menu.

First time experience at this place and the reviews live up to what I read. The burgers, fries and service was amazing! We loved it. They also have a great eating area outside, clean bathrooms and a great system for getting your order. 100% will return for more great food/service! Remember to tip your service industry folk, most have been out of work over a year and are struggling to survive.

Very nice staff, we enjoyed our delicious burgers and generous French fries in their courtyard picnic site. The tasty burger had grilled onions in them and a dressed shredded lettuce topping that were delicious in the sesame seed bun.

The second best burger I know of in Seattle right now. Deliciously executed, simple, but not an afterthought with quality ingredients and preparation, not pricey. The patty seemed to be smash grilled and allowed to crust to near perfection. Hope they don’t lose that touch like most seem to do!

I like the atmosphere and food here. It has fake grass and picnic tables -- as if it were 'Seattle summer' all year. I like eating at Burb's even on the cold and rainy days, because it holds onto the memories of last summer/hope for next summer. I need that sometimes. I can eat here when I'm sad and I need a comfort burger, and nobody really bothers me and there's no obligation to be interested in "the game" or fit into whatever bar scene. You're outdoors, so whatever goes, ya know? It's just a nice burger spot and it's outside. My go-to is the cheeseburger. The chicken burger didn't really do it for me (preference) but if I come back to a place to eat alone, that means the food is solid. My other favorite part is that when I don't come here alone, the fries order is large enough to share. Yes, I am a fry stealer. I'm sorry but at least here at Burb's, I don't have to be that sorry.

Got there exactly at 11:30AM when Google says they open but they didnt open until 12PM which was a bummer/letdown. They still ONLY accept card which is weird to me but you can always tip in cash lol. Ordered 3 Burbs Specials and 1 Spicy Chicken Sando which came out to $22 which is not bad for 4 sandwiches. The prices went up a tad bit but not enough to break the bank. Be sure to order fry sauce when you order your food and NOT when you pick up your food to avoid annoyance/miscommunication with the workers. Best smash burgers in town! Bussin everytime!

First the bad news - they are closed Sunday and Monday, which makes me sad when i have a Burb’s craving on those days,but glad their awesome employees get a break. I have been there several times and the burgers and chicken sandwich are always fresh and super-tasty, and the fries are awesome and you get a big bag (2 can share). Great value. A big step up from the usual fast food and <$10 per person for our family with tax and tip. Caveat - we don’t buy drinks, so your cost may be higher.

Tasty and cheap hidden gem. $4-5 burgers can’t be beat unless they are no good. These are good. Got a burger and a chicken sammy to go. Both were very excellent. Nice setting, it was quick and easy and well worth going back. I have already recommended to friends.

I really wanted to like this place. It's a really cool set-up with nice staff. Unfortunately, the 'special' burger I had was just filled with a mass of wilted lettuce which made the bread soggy and fall apart. The burger was so thin (I'm pretty certain the burger had a hole in the middle as I couldn't see any meat over the wet lettuce). Also, there were no pickles in the burger (thinly sliced cucumber is not a pickle!). The portion of fries would easily serve 2; why not offer a small or 'side' option for less than $3. I will try again, with other menu options. Hopefully, it will be better!

Burbs is really what this neighborhood needed: good, cheap, fast burgers. They're friendly and the space is nice while you wait. The fries are really good and salty and they give you a ton of them. The burger patties are smashed and caramelized, then generously sauced. I've been a few times now and my go-to is the spicy chicken, it's perfect.

Wow, what a find! Was looking for a good place to eat before heading back to the Portland area and came across Burbs Burgers. We ended up getting a Burbs Classic, Burbs Deluxe and a Grilled Cheese w/ Bacon. Oh my, oh my indeed, so so good!!! I'm not a big fry person, but these fries were pretty epic, there's a metric ton of them as well. I know where we'll be eating the next time we're back in Seattle.

Thank you Burbs for the best veggie burger I've ever had. It's perfect.. the first time I took a bite I had to do a double take and make sure there wasn't meat in it (it's a homemade veggie patty, smashed on the grill and combined with classic burger fixings it reminded me of the ones I've missed eating since I became vegetarian). I can't believe I've been paying two to three times as much for an unsatisfying burger. Go here now before word gets out and it becomes too popular! I'm not going to lie I crave Burbs weekly. Plus the people that work there are wonderful. :)

So sooo good, and for a super cheap price, what more can you ask for? I tried both the Burbs Special burger and spicy chicken sando and definitely preferred the burger (chicken was a bit dry imo). They also offered a house made veggie patty option, which I was told had black beans. For $3, you get a TON of fries which, as other reviewers mentioned, is pretty similar to McD’s. Def get their special sauce to go with the fries! Lot of outdoor seating and parking around the neighborhood available

Casual, cheap, good! What else do you need? I do think you can skip on the fried chicken sammy. It’s good, but Seattle is in the midst of a fried chicken renaissance, so it’s not hard to find something better for not that much more in price (milk drunk, ma’ono, etc.) The real winners here are the burgers.
