Reviews of The Park Café
S Thai
First time visiting The Park Café and we were blown away by the customer service, the portion sizes, the taste, and the price. Everything was stellar.
You can tell right off the bat that the ingredients they use are fresh. The blueberry and strawberry jam on every table are made in house.
The portion sizes — oh my goodness! There’s no way you’d leave this place still hungry and the menu prices are all reasonable thanks to how much food they give you.
The customer service was also amazing — all the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Our coffee cups were never empty thanks to them.
The owner is also on the floor working just like everyone else, which is a huge plus to why this place is running so well.
The only downside of this place is its size — the building is quite intimate and small, hence not many people are able to be seated inside at one time and the wait time for a table might be a tad bit long for some.
The hours are also limited, they close around 3pm and are mainly targeting those that love their breakfast and lunch.
Despite these limitations, they still deserve all 5 stars because the atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the customer service make up for it. This is the type of place where you can’t really go wrong with any menu choice, everything tastes delicious.

Had brunch at this place a few hours ago and I am still so full. Portions and prices were just right. I got the bases loaded which comes with steak, mashed potatoes, eggs and buttered toast. Very tasty but I just wished there was some gravy or steak sauce. I tried other things on the
menu that my daughters and our friend ordered and everything had good flavor. I think my favorite was the B&G. Lovely experience and would definitely go back.

Such a cute and nice breakfast spot. Visited here on a Sunday morning. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived, about 10 -15 minutes. I liked that they offered a complimentary cup of coffee outside while you're waiting. They offer inside and outside seating. The food portions are very generous. They have a decent size menu that's not too overwhelming.

This is a top rated place in the Salt Lake area and I can see why. You can have a nice breakfast with a view of the park. The Michigan hash was a huge meal for me to finish. The potatoes cooked in with the green peppers, onions, and sausage gave it good flavour. The potatoes could have been cooked a little longer but that’s a personal preference. The omelette was also good, very cheesy and stuffed with as much ham as possible. 3.9/5 in terms of food. Service and location bump this place up.
Get here early because the line up for this place gets quite lengthy early on.

Reasonable prices and great potatoes, not many vegan/vegetarian options. I got the FTF with avocado subbed for the bacon. The park potatoes were really good — kind of like mashed potatoes with some structure, mixed with onion and some spices (and a lot of butter). The French toast was pretty good, but not in my top 5. They were kind of dry and didn’t have a ton of flavor, but they weren’t bad. Others at the table got the pancakes, they were big and thin looking, not sure how they taste. The eggs were eggs. If they made a vegan/vegetarian biscuits and gravy I would be really interested.

Looked for a breakfast place to grab some food before we left town and headed back home. Saw the reviews and so we checked it out! It was pretty poppin in here for a Thursday morning!!! Fast and friendly service! My daughter for Gustavo’s burrito and I got the Michigan hash as well as we got a side of French toast. I realized when the food came out we went overboard with the French toast! Lots of delicious food for a good price! This place did not disappoint at all.

Great spot with nice seating both inside and outside beside lovely Liberty park. I had the corned beef hash based on the waitress recommendation and it was the best I’ve ever had. Nice and fast service with great quality food and coffee. Portion size and prices are unbeatable. Don’t think twice about coming here for breakfast, highly recommend!
Jacob Tidwell
The cafe was highly recommended by a local and we were not disappointed! Great location next to Liberty Park. Indoor and outdoor (deck) seating. Classic American breakfast options. Service was quick and friendly. Food was quick to arrive and tasty!
Makenzie Callahan
These prices are extremely affordable, the staff was very friendly and this is a cute and small little breakfast spot! Quite busy on the weekends but the wait was not too long - and once you try it you will know why! Such good choices and options for everyone and plenty of different plates to choose from. They also had salt water taffy at the front. Super cool old diner feel.
Heather Sharp
Excellent breakfast place! Go early or you may have to wait, but it is worth it. The staff was just as good as the food. Prices were very reasonable.
Keira Shae
VEGAN FRIENDLY yet diner feel! Holy cow. This place has a reputation for being popular and packed, and yes, sometimes we would wait a little, but considering their workload and post-COVID, I felt it wasn't bad. On top of that, our food came FAST. We barely had time to sip our coffee before huge plates of hash were hot and ready. They're kid friendly and have indoor and outdoor seating. They have coffee out for people waiting for their tables. The wait staff is prompt, no-nonsense and friendly. I appreciate everything about this place. The portions are huge, you will be taking some home. Reasonable prices!
Brian Lupkes
I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff is super friendly ND attentive. The plate sized pancakes are just that, the size of the plate. Prices a great and the portion sizes are huge. I'll be back. My only complaint, and this isn't big enough to not give 5*, is that my eggs were over cooked. Ordered over-medium and they were nearly over hard.
Pete Souvall
Nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said about The Park? If you are on the hunt for a place that is an absolute breakfast and lunch institution, look no further. You can get a patty melt with a pancake on the side. Their service is great and quick, very friendly as well. But I love the food. The pancakes are nice and fluffy and the eggs are always cooked perfectly. Expect to wait depending on when you go. But I’m telling you it’s worth it!
Martha Steed
I came here once 4 years ago, but I am amazed they still maintain their quality! We were pleasantly surprised that they served us a cheap, delicious breakfast. The ham and sautéed peppers were soft, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!
Chris Sullivan
Highly recommend the B and G (biscuits and gravy). Had our food within 5 minutes. Honestly couldn’t say enough kind things. Fast service, kind waiters and waitresses and excellent food. I’d Drive all the from Utah County again to dine here. Got to try more menu options! And cheap compared to most breakfast eateries!
jake hubbert
My wife and I enjoyed the location and service, we felt attended to and our food came out in great time! We both ordered the Huevos Mexicanos with corn tortillas. The food itself was fine, but we were surprised that there was little seasoning to accompany the dish. It may have only been the day we were there (it was quite busy). We may go again because the other dishes we saw looked delicious.
DrivingInCircles0
Must visit breakfast | brunch spot!! Fantastic selection and LOW prices for the quality. Fast service well worth the short wait. Unique menu with great atmosphere.
Chelsea
The Park Cafe is always towards the top of the list when someone recommends a breakfast spot.
Surprisingly I had never been! So when I had time, I knew just where you go!
I've heard to expect a line but fortunately My Husband and I walked right in. Such a cute spot right by liberty park. You can definitely tell, it's where the locals go!
》》 We ordered The B & G and The Patty Melt .《《
When Biscuits and Gravy are on the menu, I MUST try them! These were made with homemade biscuits, you can taste it right away! The gravy was delicious and had a great flavor.
My Husband's Enjoyed the Patty Melt served with a side of Thousand Island Dressing. It was on the healthier end of the Patty melt spectrum. Which left you craving that butter fried toast most have, but still good!
All in All the Meal was great, the Service was AWESOME and We'd definitely stop in again!.
Alan Christensen
Great place for Breakfast!
Get there earlier between 7-8 am before the morning rush!!
Everything is great on the menu.
Sean will certainly take care of you!
Garrett Forster
Amazing food and service. We can here at random bc of the reviews and photos and it exceeded our expectations. Wait staff was super friendly, they had free coffee for people waiting, easy street parking, our food was out within 15 minutes. This breakfast/brunch spot is a gem and we Will be back for sure. This is a must go if you are in the SLC area.
Kalvan H
I see now why such good reviews! The food is great! Good portion size. It is popular, so be prepared to wait a bit.
Kyle Hackmeister
First off, the atmosphere here is awesome. Sitting on the patio with the park across the street made me feel like I was on vacation.
Everything we got here was absolutely delicious! The special was eggs benedict and they were cooked perfectly with a masterful hollandaise sauce and served with some amazing potatoes. My wife had the corned beef hash which had some choice corned beef. We had a side of French toast which was perfect and a bowl of fruit which was fresh. Treat yourself and enjoy a beautiful, cool morning with a great meal in a chill setting.
Caly Lott
Great place to get breakfast brunch or lunch. Has a great view of Liberty park and cozy feel. Staff is great on always on top of things. Great place to visit if you are in Salt Lake City.
Nathan S
A nice small breakfast place with a park across the street! They had very attentive staff, always making sure any plates you want gone, are out of the way! The food was great! Huge pancakes and plenty of food for everyone!
Sunny Patel
This place has very good brunch and it’s surprisingly cheap for the amount of food you get! The service is very quick and the staff is friendly and attentive, i had to catch a flight and was in and out within 25 minutes (assuming you have a table). Expect long waits on the weekends.
Mark McCormack
We had an awesome brunch here recently. The food is really good and you need to expect a wait. I think we waited an hour. It was well worth it. All servers were kind and very helpful. They serve coffee while you wait so it’s easy going. I really enjoyed the pancakes and they hit the spot that day.
I always recommend sharing with everyone when I eat out and this place is perfect for that. Their corn beef was off the chain good. That is a must.
A.D. Em
About 4 parking spots out front, park across the street has ample parking as well as the side roads next to the restaurant. We came in on a Thursday morning around 9am and got the last indoor seat (indoor and outdoor seating was available, outdoor seating seemed to have heating). We had friendly, prompt service and our food was hot and delicious. Also tried the ‘trippy hippy’ juice, it was really good! (Will turn your urine pink lol). Overall, would recommend for a quick, hot breakfast.

Gustavo's Burrito
👍 Very good flavoring on the half- mashed potatoes
😋 egg+pork burrito. Outstanding spicy chunky sauce. With cooked onion & bell pepper …
Al Steiner
Nice little hippie Cafe right across from a Park (I know, right?). Yummy breakfast dishes served lightning fast. Plus some killer Star Wars retro art on the wall.
It gets crazy crowded here sometimes I am told. We ended up with no wait, which was sweet. The portions are pretty decent and the crowd was pretty relaxed.
They do accommodate gluten free which is always job one in my book.
Definitely recommend
Grace A
Delicious breakfast! Their freshly squeezed beet juice was so refreshing. Great portion I got the FTF and friends got omelet and standard breakfast.
Kim N
This cafe is definitely worth a stop. It was the only place I could find that opened before 7 (6 am). Our food and service were great. The place literally got packed within minutes of opening but never seemed to have a line. We got the granola with yogurt, shooter's sandwich on rye, vegan hash, coffee and orange juice. Highly recommend it! Love the contemporary meets classic diner decor. It is also directly across from the park, offering a nice view. They have a patio, but it wasn't open when we were there (chairs/tables stacked up).
Victor Diaz
Absolutely delicious. Great prices. Close to a beautiful park you can walk off the full stomach when you’re done!
Meghna Sathe
Very generous portion size, decent taste, good service, pretty location. They have an outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is heated by a fireplace which is pretty good during winters. Enough vegetarian and vegan options. The dishes are customizable to make it veg or vegan
Courtney C
I had heard great things about the Park Cafe and now I wish I had made it a priority to go sooner! The entire experience was wonderful. I went on a weekday morning and my group of two was seated after waiting just 5 minutes. Everything on the menu looked very appetizing and I ordered French toast, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Every part of the meal was delicious. The waitress was helpful and professional. I can't wait to return again.
Elena
Cozy corner cafe across street from the park…Delicious food large portions and great prices I tried their famous Michigan hash loaded with pork sausage..veggies and potatoes of course plus cheese and your choice of eggs…Veggie omelette was looking good too and they have their house preserves for your choice of bread…got to have it when you are out visiting the beautiful city of Utah, had a wonderful visit here last week and definitely will return here or highly recommend everyone coming by here to try! While waiting you can start up with your coffee of choice and admire all that the beautiful park across the street has to offer…worth the wait!
Natalie Snook
Small establishment. But very comfortable. The place runs nearly seamlessly. Constantly turning over tables. Service was quick, food was even quicker. Delicious jam on the table. The potatoes served with the omelet are the best I've ever had. Difficult parking, just keep driving around the neighborhood and hopefully you'll find something. The food and service here are well worth difficult parking and a small wait.
Josh Hobson
Okay first of all, this place was PACKED. It’s bustling with activity and tons of conversation. I was a little worried about our wait but we didn’t wait long at all! Immediately when we sat down we were greeted with a round of waters which was perfect! We looked at the menu outside and ordered immediately, and within minutes the food was out. This was probably the fastest diner experience I’ve ever had. We had 4 different wait staff come and ask us if we needed anything! Everyone works as a team and gets you what you need quickly. 10/10 would come here again
Linda Bernini
Delicious food & great service. It's wonderful to be able to eat outside. Today it was nice to sit next to the fireplace. The amount of food you get is HUGE so come with an appetite or be ready to take some home.
Terrence Hanscom
In-credible. These people are trying to nourish you and not just have a quick transaction. It was our first time here. The dude at the counter welcoming people in made our day. The food was fantastic (try the hash!) and the service was super friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely come back.
Stephanie
My significant other and I love this place, we both get the B’s and G’s every time without fail. Fast amazing service!
Owen Wald
Huevos Mexicanos were a solid - quick food and great ingredients- you can tell these people care about the food they serve - would def go here again
Miguel Gonzalez
One of the best local food places in town!!
Great for breakfast, but lunch is amazing, too.
Small cozy restaurant with A+ incredible service. They always have more staffing than the minimum needed, which makes the service above everyone else. The staff is kind and helpful. And they even have free coffee outside to enjoy while you wait.
Sessie Tippets
This is the perfect spot for the dietary challenged. The Park has something for everyone. Gluten free pancakes, vegan hash and just a good ol' fashioned burger for the rest of us. No sacrifice of flavor either :) I like to order the hippie hash (vegan) but I add an over easy egg and a side of gluten free pancakes for my man and I to share. They keep the best strawberry preserves on the table and I like to eat my pancakes with that and butter. YUM!! Staff is always friendly and fast.
Bill Petersen
Our favorite place for breakfast. The food is always great, the service is always friendly. The Park Cafe sets itself apart from the others with a hip ambiance. I love the Jazz omelette, but there’s a lot of delicious choices. There’s usually a wait, but it’s always worth it.
Daniela Lo Feudo
Can't speak highly enough about this breakfast joint! So many options, everything delicious! Coffee is top notch and staff outstanding. Don't be discouraged by the wait to get in on Sundays (if any), just get your name on wait list and take a stroll around the park. You won't regret.
Zac Richins
We decided to try this place after spending the morning at the aviary.
First of all service was great. We had a problem with part of our order and they fixed it, fast and were very gracious. Super impressed. We also had our kids split a meal and they brought it split, which madd it super easy.
Portions are huge! So you won’t leave hungry. I tried the Michigan hash, my kids split the super burger and my wife tried the Shooters sandwich.
The food was pretty good. I just wish it had been seasoned better and the hash browns were a bit dry. Overall we were very happy.
Guy Ganani
They are really on top of their service game here. I had two small modifications to my order done flawlessly, and with a packed restaurant they had enough servers floating around to keep water and coffee constantly topped up. Everything is fairly priced, and so well-made and tasty that our whole table finished all of the large portions.
Danny Connock
Great food, huge portions, friendly staff in a fast paced restaurant with some nice views.
I was in SLC to visit some friends and was cruising around and stumbled across this place near the park.
It looked busy from the outside and it was busier inside, found a spot to sit at the bar. Staff were on point very friendly and helpful.
Menu has got something for anyone and it was hard to land on something. Went with something I’d never had before and was not disappointed.
I was full half way through, powered through to the end and loved every bite. A definite steal at the price and covers most occasions work break or showing your parents round it’s got you covered.
Next time I’m back it’ll be my first breakfast spot.
Chrissy L
This place was amazing! You can sit wherever you'd like, great staff, fast and friendly service, and the food was delicious! The food portions are generous! The ambiance was welcoming and unique. Everything was fresh, from the hot coffee to the breakfast dishes we ordered. Highly recommend!
Landon Roberts
Breakfast always has, and always be my all time favorite meal. With that being said, Park Cafe is hands down my favorite breakfast joint. The location is unbeatable with it being directly across from Liberty Park, workers are always upbeat, positive, and friendly, they have fresh coffee for you while you wait, and the food is to die for. My favorite meal is the half order of Michigan Hash... Thats right, you can get a half order of any meal, for half the price! Me and my wife can each get our favorite meals, half size, with a coffee for UNDER $25. A STEAL! Park Cafe is a must.
Mel Hobbs
If you are looking for amazing food and an awesome atmosphere, this is the place for you! The wait is completely worth it. I am a big fan of adding my name to the list and taking a stroll to the pond at Liberty Park. I've been a long time regular, going on 13 years now.
Andrya White
High quality food at a very affordable price! There was a little bit of an issue with the waitlist, however, and we ended up waiting almost an hour longer than we were told to expect. Now, I work at a restaurant with notoriously bad wait times and I understand the pressure of dealing with a huge rush. Mistakes are made and that’s just the reality of the industry sometimes. Once we were eventually sat and had ordered, everything was flawless. The food came out VERY fast and everything was really truly delicious. We eventually explained what had happened to the manager, emphasizing that I’ve even been on the other side of the same situation. He was so kind and apologetic, and made everything right with us. Despite our initial hangry irritation, we left very satisfied and pleased by their customer service. Can’t wait to recommend this place to everyone I know!
Shane Kirby
Whoever rated this place as "some of the best breakfast in Salt Lake" must have broken taste buds. Seriously! The biscuits and gravy was good... but thats it, good... the bacon was absolutely disgusting and thick and all fat... it tasted like it was cooked on an old BBQ grill at a public park. Their "potatos"? Absolutely nasty... same gross taste and they came out on the plate looking like masticated mashed potatoes with chunks... Their only saving grace was their gravy, which was quite nice! Aside from that, maybe their food would be good if it wasn't so poorly executed... places are indeed as good as their cooks...
Kelsey D
They were very busy on a Sunday for brunch. It was very loud in the building cause it's small and they cram as many people in there as they can. The food was good, I loved the chai. I would go again, but sit outside next time so I don't leave with a headache from the noise. Service was pretty good.
Chris Yuan
Amazing food, good price. One of my co-worker recommended me to eat branch at this restaurant. very busy during weekend around noon, we ended up to go coz this place is all packed and there were lot of people waiting outside. stuff is very nice and efficient.
Sterling Wood
It’s a little easy to miss this place from the curb driving by. My friend and I went with the French Toast menu item with bacon , hash browns and eggs. French toast was delicious but the maple syrup is the fake stuff which was a little disappointing.
I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy to try them out and they were pretty decent, although I wouldn’t go so far to say they are the best I’ve had.
Service was speedy as well as our food coming out super fast which was awesome.
Nice outside patio seating in an inclosed tent with fireplace.
Dwight Maygren
Wow, so looking gory to eating breakfast here. So disappointed. Had better breakfast at Denny’s for less. Nice staff, but decaf watery, eggs fine, bacon some done right some under cooked. Jam is like a hotcake syrup. Not sure why so many good reviews, won’t go back.
Spenser Bowen
The staff here is TOP NOTCH. The food is great of course, but the way they took care of me and my family was something else. They immediately had a high chair ready to go from one server and then a plate of bananas from another—the best part of this is that it was completely normal and it’s always like this. Love this place
Travel&Food
Good food and the staff were all very nice. Food came out quick. Places seems to always be busy with an outdoor cover patio. I would say come check this place if you really want some good food. I will definitely be back!
Amanda Johnson
Love this place! Favorite place to go for breakfast after my run on the weekend. The wait is never too bad. Staff is fantastic and food is yummy!!! Glad I tried this place!
David
Great diner atmosphere, ordered the corned beef hash, good n meaty
Carla Wright
Fast, quick and lovely service. Our waitress was quick grabbing our order but took her time with the 5 year old we had in tow. She brought him coloring activities and his drinks is cup’s with lids. Our food was hot and delicious as well. But what I most loved was the dirty chai they brought. It does get quite loud in there but Im pretty sure it was a mix of espresso and chai. PHENOMENAL.
Ferren Ballash
They brought out whipped cream and animal crackers to keep my kids happy while they waited for food. The food was amazing, huge portions, the wait staff was incredible. So glad we found this place!
Zoila Menacho
My family and me were on vacation in SLC for a couple of weeks and visiting Park Café was a great experience. It is a kind of place that you love to recommend. My friends and family in Germany know already were to get a perfect American breakfast in SLC.
Bru Baker
A little crowded and cramped in, but great food, good view and great service.
Jason Albert
Had a large group, The place was packed, and a fun atmosphere, but extremely loud.
Quite a few mistakes with the orders. The food was hit and miss. I think it is definitely worth a try, but plan on the wait and be prepared.
Christina Lamprecht
We dined outside. At first I was worried about freezing (I get cold easily and wasn't wearing a heavy coat). They had it covered and had patio heaters; it was so cozy. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
Eva Sanchez
Bottom line: that 4 hour drive makes a sleepy Park breakfast worth it.
Park Cafe has been a favorite place to visit that my friend in the North introduced me to. Great service, atmosphere, and the food has been on point every time. See you again sometime soon 🥴 pictured here: Blue Cheese burger and the French Toast breakfast. The french toast was mine but that burger was pretty killer.
Price: $$ Staff: 🍴😆 Yummy?: Those potatoes are my life
Brian Stark
The Park Cafe is an incredible place to have breakfast. The wait is long but definitely worth it. The food and service is amazing.
Everytime I come to Utah I come here to get breakfast. If you like hot chocolate, do not miss out on ordering it from here. They are very accommodating for large parties despite there small foot print. Also, I like my coffee strong so they warmed up their strong cold brew just for me.
Once seated their service is fast. The food comes from the kitchen just the way you ordered it.
I have to thank the manager Cito, and my server Ruby and Kris.
Adam Dowd
My wife and I was visiting and needed a place to eat for breakfast. We found this place off google . The hostess met us outside with a mask and a smile in her voice. We sat outside in a very comfortable area . The staff was pleasant and the menue had many options. The food came out fast. I ordered the corn beef hash (see pic). It was very good! I was impressed with this place and recommend trying.
Savanna Poirier
Such a delicious breakfast!! We were staying in Salt Lake for a week and wanted to find a great place for breakfast. This is your spot!! We ended up coming back the following morning too. Great, friendly, and efficient staff that make the experience that much better. If I lived here, it would be a regular visit for me. Will definitely be back next time in town!
Emilie Wetekia
Yummy food and so affordable. There’s a wait time, but once you’re in, service is very fast and friendly. The best breakfast place!
Spencer Martin
Great experience at the Park Café. Quick and efficient service. The food was very reasonably priced. Plenty of breakfast options. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Salt Lake City!
Susan Mattinson
Hot spot for breakfast and lunch, brunch!! We went at 10ish on a Monday and were seated immediately by a very happy, personable and energetic host, great smile!
The important things to know about Park Cafe, there’s usually a wait, up to an hour, so dress warm in the winter because the wait is outside. No reservations, first come basis. But.... the service and the food is well worth any wait! Do be careful, I ordered a small side of salsa and was charged $3, with no forewarning.
We hardly waited for our food, it was perfection and again, the service is spot on!
The place has an energized feel and it’s fun just to be in the fray.
Parking can be difficult, very few spaces available so prepare to walk, maybe a block or two.
There were three of us and we ordered two coffees, no juices or other beverages then breakfast entree’s and our total bill including tip was $40.
Andromeda
The food was pretty good! It's a nice and we'll kept restaurant, can get pretty busy and loud, but it's a lively place! The hash browns are mashed a bit...so somewhat like mashed potatoes. The flavor is all there :D My daughter loved her French Toast slices! And, my friend ended up eating everything. I think he got the huevos rancheros. They are so generous when it comes to waiting customers! They have complementary coffee for them :D They also have an patio that's enclosed by a curtain (entrance) and warmed with heaters for people who want to enjoy a meal outside. They have a nice new of the park as well <3
Adam C
Nice cozy diner with quick service and delicious food. Thanks for the recommendation Rinne. The French toast was some of the best we’ve ever had. The pancakes were light fluffy and the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommended this place for a good breakfast.
Tao Hu
This is the place for a hearty breakfast in salt lake city. The restaurant only has about 5 parking spaces, you might need to park your car in the park and walk across the street. The severs are friendly and fast, keep coffee mug filled. It is always packed inside. We ordered French Toast Foolishness and Pancake sandwich. It was delicious and satisfying.
Chirelle Pearson
So much hype about this place! The wait is usually an hour but today was the first time I was able to actually get in with only a 10 minute wait! Parking is a little rough. It's all neighborhood street parking. Service was really fast! I was surprised at how quickly we got our food. Food was pretty good! Prices were average. Overall a good experience.
B S
One of my favorite cafe’s in SLC. Greet atmosphere and the outside seating near the park is perfect. The food and coffee is awesome. Big fan of the self serve coffee to fuel me up.
Jon Hayes
Got lunch to-go here. The chili was very very good. I also enjoyed my omelette. The Park potatoes are hands down the best thing served here.
Christina “Tini” Magagna
Super great, home cooked breakfast. Fast and friendly. Super busy, and staff was quick and attentive...love the Bob Ross sentiments & crazy for Boba Fett! I'll be back to try more items on your menu soon. Loved the location across from the park and near Tracy Aviary.
Rachel Green
If I could only eat one breakfast forever and ever, it would be the Gustavo Burrito [add avocado], with a short stack of regular or multigrain pancakes. Now, that's a lot of food, so I recommend bringing a friend to help with it. Literally every item on the breakfast side of the menu has made its way into my belly at some point, and they're all hits. Oh, and somehow they nail it with their daily specials every time! Go during the week or early morning, unless waiting for a table is totes your style. But even if it's Sunday at 11AM, it's way worth the wait! [or order it to go and enjoy it at the park across the street!] Oh, and their patio game is on point! So there you have it... your forever breakfast!
Candimarie21
I ordered a delicious Spanish omelet and French toast! Husband ordered biscuits and gravy. They got us in quickly even when there was a good amount of ppl waiting. The tables are small and packed in, just a heads up.
Moises Maldonado
If you don't eat here you are missing out, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent all the way around, just passing through and seen tbis place, glad I did.

Perfect breakfast spot, best B&G I’ve ever had. Top notch service, great prices.
Michael Hancock
This place is unique and cozy. The staff are friendly. It's a very chill environment. The food is rustic and delicious. I love the thick french toast and the burgers and sandwiches I've tried. The park potatoes are delicious. I haven't had to wait too long yet, even when it seems really busy. The only downside is that it's small and can feel crowded at times.
Stacey D
Reanne was a sensational server. All of the staff is pleasant, it is fast paced and great food. There is usually a wait, but they try their hardest to set you as soon as other patrons leave.

My sister and I want to try all of American breakfast/brunch places in Salt Lake and here we have one of the original places. I got the weekly special with slow-cooked meat, mushroom, onions wrapped in a 3-egg omelette with cheese on top and mashed potatoes. My sister got a more basic American breakfast dish on their menu. Two really big plates for a decent price, their pancakes are huge also. The additional apricot jam goes really well with toast and I also had typical hot cocoa with whipped cream. They were really busy but the employees were always fun and welcoming. Just brace yourself with the parking, maybe on street nearby or in the Liberty park then walk over. I would love to go back to this place with my family on the weekend.
Rebecca Mele
OMG this is the breakfast I think I have ever had. The restaurant has a relatively small waiting area so if you want to eat here arrive early or expect to wait a little. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. Potato’s were seasoned well. Service was friendly and attentive.
Wanda G
Very busy restaurant. Huge portion sizes. More than I could eat in one sitting. Outdoor patio. Lively atmosphere. Everyone agreed the meals were very good and all four of us had something different from each other. Likely need reservations on the weekend. Lovely setting right across from a beautiful park. Very busy when we were there but we still received great service. Free treats on the way out the door. Lots of choices on the menu.
Lindsey Demaree
My friend raved about this breakfast/lunch spot when we were in Utah so we had breakfast here on Sunday morning. At first, I was hesitant because there were about 30 people standing around outside waiting to be seated. To be honest, we did have to wait for about a half hour for the four of us to get a table; however, once we were seated, we did not have to wait to be served. All of us enjoyed our meals and I can see why people wait to go here. 🤗 My friends and fiance all got breakfast food but I had to be different and order the deli sandwich with chips. 😁 Also, the hot chocolate here is phenomenal! Overall, I recommend this spot if you are okay with waiting on busy days.
Nancy Arenas
This cafe is a winner every time. Their side potatoes are unlike anything I’ve ever had at a breakfast place - they are a cross between mashed potatoes and hash browns and breakfast potatoes. Winner! Bacon was amazing - eggs cooked to perfection. Service was excellent! Highly recommend! (And very well priced! Excellent value.)
Châu Minh
Best breakfast place in town. The food is amazingly delicious, warming atmosphere. The prices are pretty good for a big portion of breakfast. I love their fluffy pancakes, corn beef and potatoes. There's always a wait here because their business is always busy, but the staffs are way too friendly and happy. Parking is a bit tricky and tight, you'll have to park on street or over the park. Great place after all!
Abigail Struchen
Get there early! Getting up and getting there seems like a stretch for breakfast but it's honestly so worth it. You'll skip the 25-45 minute wait and you'll be able to pick any seat you want in this cozy cafe. Plenty of good choices for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Definitely a must eat in Salt Lake!
Matt Brunsvik
Great breakfast, great service, fair prices! The Michgan Hash is a pile of tasty filling goodness. Yum!
J Lb
10/10 delicious breakfast food! Something for people who love sweet and savory.
We had the biscuits & gravy (b's and g's) and the huevos Mexicanos.
Definitely want to try the pancakes and french toast next time!
Funmi Adedeji
We waited over an hour to be seated in 20° plus weather. I was full of coffee by the time breakfast arrived so ended up boxing my meal.
T DeSantiago
Due to consistent storms across the Cascades we decided it be best to not chance it. So like any good road trip you adapt and explored SLC. Loving @theparkcafeslc. Chai tea and country fried steak were amazing
steve reliford
The food was excellent and quick to the table. The service was top tier never had a service experience like this. I appreciate the friendliness and readiness to help by everyone. Would recommend 100/100 times
Erica Aborlleile
Soooooo cute. 10/10 recommend JUST for the vibes. Food was awesome & super cheap. They even let me swap my toast/ potatoes for a free soup of the day. Also… FREE STICKERS AT THE FRONT
shravani R
Our first stop was here after we landed in SLC. The place was crowded, but since we were party of 2, got a table right away. Staff was friendly and very attentive. We were starving and glad our food came out pretty quickly. The sourdough bread was yum, would have been nice if we had more butter on it. My omlette was loaded with fresh veggies - which I love. Hash browns could have used some more crunch. Overall great experience!
Jade Cuthbert
Very busy. Promptly and kindly seated. Had our food within 7 mins! Amazing amazing amazing service!!! 5 out of 5 stars!
Paul Bowden
First time visit. Food, service and portions were fantastic. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious and hot. Would highly recommend.
Hannah Eldridge
Awesome and quick service! Tasty breakfast classics in large portions. Expect a wait but it’s worth it.
Laura Dilts
Amazingly good bacon, but everything else was just so-so. I asked for over-medium eggs and got over-easy even after I sent them back and described what over-medium means to me. I don't think their cook knows what they're doing. They also gave us the check right after the food, and were clearly trying to rush people out. Might be good if you want a very quick bite to eat and aren't worried if your order is wrong.
Amanda Ard
Delicious. The food is SO good! They are super quick at making and serving food but it gets so busy there is no way to get in without waiting. Wait times aren't usually too bad though. There are a lot of tables for the space so the chatter is pretty loud and it can feel a little cramped. I would definitely eat there again.
Yan Cui
This is a classic diner spot and they definitely know what they're doing. Came here when I was visiting salt lake City. Sat at the counter and got my food less than ten minutes after ordering. Very speedy. I would say, the food is good but very simple. The potato hash had a lot of fullness/flavor but everything else was slightly bland. I suppose you get what you pay for though because the pricing is cheap.
Anthony Hollenbeck
The wait time for The Park was extremely long, though frankly, not terrible with good company.
The food is fair, slightly better than your "typical" diner food, but certianly I don't find it to be the "creme of the crop" that everyone raves about.
I would say that after factoring the wait (this place is always busy), the price, and the food itself, it may just be on the boarder of the "okay, let's go try this once just to have the experience" zone.
Give it a shot, it is a ton of fun with the right people.
Oh, and after you reserve your table they (currently) let you get coffee before you seat, which is very smart and appreciated of them.
Sophia Harper-Hague
As always, wonderful staff and service. Super quick with our food, and made sure we were taken care of. The food was good, with the signature Park Potatoes and eggs. Great for a quick bite to eat in Salt Lake!
Dr. Juan A. McKenzie
The Park Café had many, many fantastic choices on the menu. I went with the Omelette (maybe listed on the menu as the Mexican Omelette). It was stuffed with cheese and vegetables and covered with Salsa. It was unbelievably delicious. I also had a side of short stacks which included 2 what seemed to be 12 inch buttermilk pancakes. I wasn't able to finish the meal to say the least. It was a lot of food. I should have stopped when I ordered the Omelette, but didn't verify with the wait staff how much I would actually be receiving. Over all, phenomenal experience and highly recommend.
Taylor Lamb
Haven’t eaten inside here because I didn’t know they had gluten free or vegan options but someone got me breakfast to go from here and it was amazing and I could eat all of it and I totally did!
Always gets crowded though so prepare for that ahead of time. Have no clue if they take reservations or not, but worth looking into.
It’s iconic and right across the street from Liberty Park. Small quaint cafe and if you live in a neighboring area you can just walk on over.
Beth Rakozy
Fabulous little diner! This was my first visit —food was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. All the staff here are amazing! Feels like a neighborhood family or maybe a childhood friend’s house where there’s always really good food. Delicious!
John Smesko
The staff was really friendly but the food was bland, even for typical diner food. The cheese on the omelettes looks like Kraft singles melted over. The prices match the quality of food so if you're looking for cheap and large portions of food, this is the place for you. On the weekends, expect to wait (with coffee available while you wait) and then be given the check while you're only halfway done with your meal as they seem to try to rush people in and out.
Nate Kuck
Went for our first time on Sunday morning . The staff was exceptional. We were seated and attended to promptly. We ordered the French toast foolishness and the huevous mexicano. Both plates were delicious. We will definitely add The Park Cafe to our lineup of go to restaurants.
Heriberto Caraballo
Delicious food great prices. A little crowded but i am definitely coming back.
Ho Nguyen Anh Minh
Best American breakfast in town period! The amount of customers they served every morning speaks the quality of the food! Visiting here is a must for travelers!
J Simmons
A little place with literally 14 little square tables. We went for breakfast on a Saturday and was quite noisy inside. Good portions with a very spicy Oredlay dish. While we like to support locally owned places, our experience -along with the wait- doesn't encourage us going back.
James Hamet
Super fun spot, very active, and the food tastes great! What more do you need? The wait can be pretty long but it's worth it. Plus, benches and easy conversation make it even enjoyable. Definitely a place I recommend to bring friends to or to visit on your own.
J S
I ordered the Shooter's Sandwhich with a side of French Toast. The shooter's sandwhich is 2 eggs, cheese, bacon / sausage/ or ham, on grilled bread with pork potatoes. I chose the sourdough bread with bacon and it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had in a long time.
The french toast was not soggy and tasty as well.
Be prepared to wait a long time outside for a shot at a seat in this busy place but the wait will be worth it.
Graham Oey
Very good breakfast place! Went at about 10 on a Sunday, so there was about a 20 minute wait, but things kept moving. It was extremely nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee and drink outside while we waited. Servers even refilled coffee outside.
Food was tasty and portions were very large, especially for the price. Service was quick and friendly enough. Even though it was very busy it still had a good atmosphere.
Amy Stricker
This place was incredibly busy but that must mean they are amazing. I was visiting all the way from Illinois and it was nice finding a place that felt like home. They were very orderly and diligent even though they had a line out the door. It didn’t take long to get a table and there was almost no wait for food or orders. The food was super yummy.
Paula Young
This was my first time there. Went with my daughter and we really enjoyed the food. And the employees were really nice to us. We will go back again and recommend it to others.
SANDRA MIJAN
This breakfast place was recommended to us by a dear friend that grew up in SLC. She brought us here herself for brunch and we loved it so much that we had to come back the next morning even though the wait was an hour it’s worth it!
Such homey atmosphere! You feel like you are in someone’s dining room or their porch! Free coffee while waiting! Beautiful park across the street(in case you don’t want to wait in the front). First visit we sat inside, second patio. Food is amazing, large portions, hearty meal, like at grandmas house! Bacon is to die for! OJ was great! Oh, condiments for your pancakes omg!!! Homemade strawberry and mix berries jams, were delicious!
Bathrooms are clean!
What else do you need! We love places like this!!!
Perry Trujillo
Long wait if you arrive too late since it's popular location. but they move people in and out quickly! The food is amazing and the service is wonderful.
Marnie Bowden
The best breakfast place we have been to! Great tasting, served hot!
Teela Deaton
Literally the sweetest girls ever. Victoria was serving us mainly. I think she was probably the best server I’ve ever had in my life. 💖💕💖 love youuuu …
Samuel Washburn
The food is alright, and it is cooked well. It did hit the spot in the moment. Only real downside to this place is the horrible parking situation.
Marles Barkley
Great restaurant - very fast staff - it was packed but we got seated immediately - the waiters are really nice here and the food was good - would come back again 👌🏻 …
Jake Altizer
It's hard to find places that treat you like a fellow human nowadays. This is one of em! They go above and beyond, are kind, and have fantastic food. Couldn't recommend more.
Espy A.
The area was super crowded and a little hidden. Parking isn't ideal but the food here was delicious. Their omelets are thick and the french toast was super filling🥰 …
Mike Flynn
Busy place. Lots of energy. I had pancake sandwich. Huge pancakes. Big slice of ham. Quick service. Across the street from Liberty Park.
Garden Gaucin
I have lived near the cafe for the past 22 years and never have gone...until today. The cafe is located in a very neighborly area, with a nice view of the park. The staff was really nice and outgoing. I ordered the B's & G's, the food was really good and at an affordable price as a first timer. I highly recommend the place and I will be going again in the future!
Amanda Haines
We stopped through in a group of four on our way out of Utah and could not be happier that we did. First of all, the food was amazing and extremely reasonably priced. I ordered the Michigan Hash and finished about half of it very happily and packed away the rest. The second stand out aspect was the service. We received our food almost instantly and all the while experienced extremely attentive and prompt service. This is by far the most welcome I have felt during our time in Utah. I highly recommend visiting The Park Cafe.
Jess L
The best place for breakfast. They are fast and the atmosphere is amazing. So cute and right across the street from the park.
Taylor Jacobberger
A great classic breakfast joint. Pretty basic menu and relatively inexpensive. B&G was meh, but there hash was great!
Terri Holland
Its always crowded here and noisy but the food and service is good. It's a small place so don't come with a huge group. The coffee is particularly good.
Billy Cooper
Very good food. Large portions. Small foot print and cozy. I'll be back!
Douglas “Ryan” Ziegler
Great food! Excellent wait staff!! Very busy on weekends.. Across the street from an amazing park in Salt Lake City!!!
Identity Tron
Definitely a busy place but they turn over tables quickly and once we ordered we got our food very quickly. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere even though my team LA Galaxy is clearly the superior club!
Aaron Orfanos
Their food is pretty ok here, and the scenery is actually pretty cool. I personally didn't love the burger I ordered, I got a Mushroom Swiss, I feel like there were hardly any Mushrooms and Swiss. And I didn't really like their mushrooms, they just tasted a little off.
Seth Parsons
Easily one of my most favorite breakfast places in the city. The wait can get a little long on the weekends.
My son forgot his coat and one of the servers went and got him a poncho while we waited. It was amazing!
They also set the boy up with a bowl full of animal crackers that he promptly bit all the heads off when we got to our table.
I had biscuits and gravy, which was delicious, though my eggs over medium were a bit undercooked. The bacon is crispy on the outside with that perfect amount of chewiness on the inside.
Hashbrowns are a must have- they're smack your momma good.
Nate Fox
This place is an excellent stop for breakfast. The food is truly incredible and the speed of service is lightning fast. The staff was friendly and efficient. I recommend the B and G.
Jackie McDermott
Fast and friendly service. The Michigan Hash was amazing. My kids loved the giant pancakes. This place lives up to the hype!
Jenny Wong
Love their breakfast big portion for me. Been back two times this week.
Becky Blad
I tried The Park Cafe for the first time on a Thursday morning around 9:30 a.m. It was busy so I'm assuming it's busy most of the time. They only have a few parking spots but we just parked around the corner.
I wouldn't say this place is very kid friendly as it not very roomy. And I understand why they asked us to wait outside since there's not much waiting room but it was pretty cold for my kids to be outside.
Once we got seated, ordering was quick as well as getting our food. Our waiter was Liz and she was very friendly.
My kids were big fans of the bacon and cheese omelette as well as pancakes. The pancakes are really good! I got the Michigan hash without mushrooms and I loved it! I love how they do their hash browns. And I think it's awesome that they have fruit sauces on the table. I'm thinking it was mixed berries and strawberries. It was a great and unexpected addition to add to my toast and pancakes.
I will be coming back! Can't wait to try more things!
Travelffeine (Travelffeine)
Your typical breakfast diner, large portions. The staff were all really nice and you could see it is a local favorite. Prepare for a small wait if you come before 11.
Lyla Music
Very good food. Amazing service. The staff is very hospitable. I would recommend their burritos.
Dave Tafoya
The Park Café is my favorite go to spot for breakfast in the state. Food is always delicious, friendly service fast service it doesn’t get much better.
Jeff Durham
Great food, friendly service. Had eggs benedict special, was very good. Great portion size too.
Rochelle Jensen
We visited here two mornings for breakfast. The potatoes were very good. Good portions and quick service.
Mike C
Kids got the pancake faces, which I don't think are actually listed on the menu. I got the huevos Mexicans. Both we're good and the prices were very reasonable.
Tara Richie
This place has something for the entire family! We wanted to hit a local spot while on a road trip and we were so glad we went. They even have vegan options! We were there for breakfast and it was loud/busy but in a good way! A great little coffee station set outside with good creamers while you wait. I would definitely recommend trying it and would be back!
K D
Good food and EXCELLENT service. They get you seated and served quickly. Pancakes and scrambles were great. Coffee was ok.
Mark Losee
Great Google find when searching for a breakfast place at lunchtime. Good portions and reasonably priced...Food was great...I had the french toast with 2 pieces as main item, and 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon with potatoes. My wife had the same thing but substituted the French toast for blueberry pancakes. Very accommodating and service was great as well...
Ryan and Anna
Super cute and great food! The staff was very attentive and quick. Our waitress even heard our daughter drop her spoon and she came right away and asked if we needed more silverware. The heaters on the patio were great for the chilly day that we went. The only thing that was a little inconvenient was we had to park kinda far from the restaurant.
KARLA CESY
Fast service ,friendly staff and delicious food 😋
Phil Spieth
Always very noisy. Always great food and service. Server was great in recommending subs for carbs.
Angela franco
Best breakfast around, no joke! Huge portions and the staff are awesome. They’ve been around for at least 40-50 years maybe longer (my grandparents used to come here). Cute mom/pop local eatery. Great outside seating during the warmer months. Plus there right across from the park , so you can go walk off that big ol’ breakfast.!
Bill Davidson
Flew into Salt Lake overnight and we were all hungry. Didn’t feel like greasy fast food options so someone googled “The best Breakfast in Salt Lake City” and The Park Cafe was at the top of the list.
Followed the GPS and luckily got the last spot in the tiny parking lot. It’s 44 degrees out and when 6 of us roll in the only option was the patio. We accepted the offer and boy were we lucky! 3 tall propane heaters and an outdoor fireplace in a screened in patio. Of course we are all nervous about how breakfast was going to taste.
We all got something different and it all was fantastic! It’s totally worth it! Friendly service, excellent food and a coasty outdoor patio!
Victor Munoz
What a neat place, awesome breakfast and the service is outstanding. I never had to get my waiters attention for something I needed. The food was top notch!!
Colton Lockhart
We were visiting Utah and came across this amazing breakfast place. It is a little bit of a wait but you can always go over to liberty park and talk to the ducks and enjoy the scenery. Once we were in I already knew I would love it. The atmosphere was super and the food was extravagant. I would greatly recommend the park cafe for anyone who’s hungry or looking to have a fun time. 11/10!
John Jennett
Breakfast doesn't get better than this! Food, service, and even the iced coffee is perfect. Their homemade jam is delicious too. And they have coffee available while you wait for your table.
Joe Romero
Fantastic eatery! Would recommend, hands down. Turkey bacon melt was phenomenal. Service was impeccable. You just have to try it for yourself.
Andrew Means
My wife and I love up in Park City but on many weekends can be found having brunch here because we love the gluten free pancakes. If there’s a wait you can take a walk around the park but more often than not we can walk right in and snag a couple seats at the bar.
meralis saenz
Very long wait to be seated, but the food flavor and serving portions were worth the wait. The food was served very quickly after placing our order. Attentive service!
Amanda Davis
They were busy but we were seated right away, and our food came quickly and it was perfect! So good and good prices.
Gabi German
Such a cute place, so warm, and family oriented
The customer service is the best and is bilingual
The meals are big and yummy

I wish it was bigger is the only thing. We went and it was extremely busy and crowded. Also parking is horrible to find Everything else was great!
Benjamín Oviedo
I attempted to take a picture before starting to eat but the food is too damn good! I come here all the time and it never disappoints!
Trey Aberson
Was visiting SLC for a weekend and enjoyed the Park Cafe so much we came twice. Very good food for a reasonable price. If you’re visiting SLC, I would highly recommend coming here.
HeddaHK
Huge portions for the price. Relatively cheap, and bottomless coffee is a huge plus. However, our party of 3 had to wait for almost two hours, and they seated several parties before us even though they were below us on the list.
Sydney M
Wanted to love this place based off reviews. The food was ok, the highlight was their french toast. the service was a bit all over the place as in we had multiple people coming up and you could tell their communication was off. We did feel rushed but it was pretty busy. I would recommend to try but i dont believe ill be back
Joni Zander
I rode my bike over for breakfast while waiting on a mechanic. There was a wait, but it was much faster than expected. It was super-busy, but I was able to get a table on the heated patio within ten minutes. My server, Rose, was fast and friendly.
I had the Trippy Hippy Vegan Hash and it was really good, and HUGE!!! I think I still have enough for two more meals!
While the service and food were good, I didn't think it was as good as Oasis Cafe and wouldn't seek it out again, but would go if someone else wanted to go.
Elizabeth Ann
Great service, the food was absolutely delicious! Beautiful view of the park. A wonderful social place. I would recommend this place to anybody!
Roxanne Finn
The food and service are great!
The only thing that keeps us from visiting more often is the access to handicapped parking. My husband is an amputee and has mobility issues.
Zac Lovell
Every time I visit The Park Café I have been blown away by the customer service, the portion sizes, the taste, and the price. Everything was amazing
The portion sizes — oh my goodness! There’s no way you’d leave this place still hungry. So much food for the price.
The customer service was also amazing — all the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Our drink cups were never empty.
This is the type of place where you can’t really go wrong with any menu choice, everything tastes deliciousness.
The vibe here is insanely great-

My favorite breakfast place when in SLC! The biscuits and gravy are my favorite. Pancakes are huge! Generous portions on everyone's plates.
Suman Somasundar
Great place with great friendly hosts. They were very cheerful and welcoming. The coffees and the sandwich and toast that were tried were amazing.
Mary D
What a great brunch joint! Huge portions, great flavors, consistent masking and gloving from staff, and a pretty low price tag, this place is great. We brought along our dog for the morning and they were very accommodating outside, even bringing over some water for our pup.
I will absolutely come back - $30 for two people with drinks and sides included is a steal, especially since we will both be getting two meals out of it.
As a bonus, the outdoor seating is warmed but still has a nice crossflow - it made me very comfortable as a covid conscious person, and made for a great dine-in experience.
Daniel N
Visiting from FL, and recommended here by nephew. Food was excellent, big portions at good prices. Went for a walk in Liberty Park right across the street afterwards.
Fer Fernando
I really like it ! Great location, very good service and the food is delicious.
If you don't like to wait to be seated please think about other options. Always packed!!
Ginnina Peterson
Love their food. Its a small place so expect to wait esp on the weekend. The food is tasty and affordable. Great sized servings and their pancakes are huge.
Take your dog with you and enjoy their outdoor seating (year round).
Ginger Romero
Food is great and they have the best tasting French Toast!❤😊 …
Umut Guzel
Best breakfast in town, no need more!
And also best crew in town!
Judy Anzaldo
There is a reason The Park Cafe has a consistent 4.5+ rating, thousands of reviews and more than any Breakfast Restaurant in SLC, they earned it! Great Service, Great menu, Great Food, Awesome staff and Beautiful location! It may be a smaller eatery, but well worth it!! A must when in Salt Lake City!!
Kundanika Adkuloo
The Spanish omlet and fresh orange juice were great, but the Blueberry pancake and cheese grilled toast were burnt!
Evan Leach
Great Food! Was highly recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. We had the Eggs Benedict with Avocado and the B's and G's oh and a hot chocolate.
Everything was delicious and the service was lightning fast..
Thank you!
Traci Walker
Such a wonderful place.. The food! Amazing. Great service and fun atmosphere! A must!!
Amanda Vega
My sister suggested this place for my birthday and it was SO good! I got the mushroom and cheese omelet and it was the best I ever had. Idk what they do to the mushrooms but they were delicious! They reminded me of how the old Scott's Drive-In mushroom things tasted. It was jam packed busy but service was prompt, food came out so fast and I highly recommend this awesome place!
T. R.
Home style cooking not bad but the cheese was too much on my omelette it overpowered it. The potatoes were like a hash/mashed consistency not a shredded or cubes. The portions were large! I substituted a Gf pancake for toast but it was an up charge. It would have been nice if they had communicated that. All said lots of food just cut back on the cheese. Coffee was available outside while waiting for your table was nice.
Bobbie Loy
We had our work holiday brunch at The Park Cafe this year. The service was good and food came out fast. The Cafe was busy but we only has to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The omelet needed a little salt but otherwise everything was good. There isn't much parking so be prepared to park on the street or across the road.
Brigess
Cute location, wasn't that busy on a Thursday morning around 9:00AM. Very efficient and friendly staff.
Thought the wait for the food was going to be long but it was so quick and sooo very delicious! My pregnant self was in heaven with the bacon and french toast ^_^
Thank you, Park Cafe : )
Terri Holland
A great little cafe, often a wait to get in. Good food and service. Across from Liberty Park.
Nicholas
This place is always busy and always good. Although I’ve only been here a few times, each one has been enjoyable. You should order a large to-go of their jelly! So good 🤤 …
Gibson Walz
Wonderful place to go grab something for breakfast. It looked busy from the outside but we were seated and served very quickly. I was amazed with how fast our food came out. The service was exceptional and the food was great. The staff kept coming by and checking on us, very nice and friendly. Really enjoyed their park potatoes! Very cheap prices too!
Samantha Kirk
I've been to Park Cafe so many times since moving to salt lake a five years ago and it remains one of my favorite breakfast spots. Even when the wait is long (which is most of the time) they go through the line really quickly and get your food so fast. All the dishes are great but I love the Michigan hash and biscuits and gravy. The chai latte is also one of my favorites. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot I highly recommend you stopping in!
Rana Hubbard
Omg such an amazing place to eat! I had the omelet with hashbrowns! Every bite was delicious 😋
Carey Thompson
Good food and plenty of it. I had the bronco omelet. Nice location good service.
Randemus Pryme
Don't come in hungover. Sensory overload with all the guests talking over one another. The staff and food are on point!! Good eats and prices just right. A little crammed, but worth it.
Rob Garren
Great food, super friendly staff and wonderful location. Homemade jam that is amazing so make sure you get toast!
Brian Kaufman
Worth the wait! Food is fresh, delicious and generous portions. Service was also super-efficient and friendly. Grab a cup of coffee (carafe thoughtfully placed for self-service while waiting) and people-watch!
Jenna Garrett
This was my first time at this cafe and I loved every minute of it! My most favorite part about it was how kind and loving the staff are to the customers but also to each other! It was a great environment to be in:) I ordered the field goal and it was delicious! The service was fast, we were seated within 2 minutes at the bar. Can’t wait to come back<3
Barbara Dixon
So good. Cute little quaint place. Not much seating or parking but worth the wait and walk.
Tabby Schultz
A wonderful breakfast for one at The Park Cafè.
Raymond Spinelli
Best food, great portions and prices. This is a side salad with fried chicken and ham sandwich. Perfect amount of breading and flavored perfectly. Bring your appetite
Donovan Slover
Best breakfast and service in SLC
They make you feel like family
Try the fresh pressed juices

Highly recommend. If you are looking for a great brunch spot look no further. Terrific food every time. The portions are big the prices are low and the taste is phenomenal.
Tyler Oborn
Excellent service excellent food! Owners and staff are amazing. Highly recommended been eating here for years!

Across from Liberty bark-park, its the Park Cafe!
Across from Liberty Park in Salt Lake, this is the locals 'fave of faves'.
This establishment brings the breakfast menu loaded with good eats. Whether its the Omlet menu sporting names like the 'Bronco' (denver omlet) or the 'Jazz' loaded with melted cheddar and bacon - its heaven on a plate.
Open early daily and closed at 2:00 pm, the steady stream of locals speaks volumes about this city favorite.
Great staff. Fabulous breakfast menu. Hot coffee. They hit this one out of 'The Park'...
Kyle Johnson
Best Breakfast restaurant in Utah. My family always stop here on our way through Salt Lake City. Anything on their breakfast menu is amazing to eat. My all time favorite is their biscuits and gravy.

This restaurant is amazing! They offer unbelievably big portions for breakfast at extremely reasonable prices. Breakfast is served all day. Many of the menu items were below $10. I had a delicious concoction with eggs, potatoes and corned beef hash and it was to die for! I sampled everything my family ordered as well and theirs was out of this world as well! We returned on the last day of our trip, which was a Saturday, and there was an hour long wait. If you go there over the weekend, try to get there early.
Aaron Aultz
Very nice atmosphere. We had a short wait and had food on our table faster than most places. Expect leftovers because the portions are large. Delicious food.
Gretchen Smoot
Great breakfast spot. Don't be scared by a long wait, just take a walk around Liberty Park.
Cameron D
Food and staff were great. They even had animal crackers for the kids.
Ashley Grauman
The service was extremely fast and friendly and the food was comforting and the portions were HUGE. Highly recommend The Park Cafe and then taking a walk in Liberty Park after, which is directly across the street.
Enya Cooper
I went with the fam for breakfast, the service was amazing and attentive, the food was delicious, hot and very filling. 😋 I highly suggest this place but plan to walk a block or two due to this being a hoppin place! Come early or don't, it's worth the trip.
Kirsten H
Long wait, food was just all right, tables and eating surfaces rather small. I'm wondering if I just went on a bad day because I've heard this place was good, but they didn't seem to season anything as much as I'd liked.
ERIC GROTEPAS
Great vibe, food, location, and staff. Very popular place and a must try.
Ariel Sandoval
Great food, great staff and perfect welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. The owner is super cool and easy to talk to. It feels like you known him forever. You can see that the staff is happy. I was there when they were closing on a Sunday and the staff ate breakfast together as if they were a family. It was awesome to see that. I ordered take out an are there once while I was visiting Salt Lake. I recommend you come here if huh are in the area. It can get busy but worth the wait.
Bethany Workman
Always well worth the wait. Friendly staff & amazing food, big portions, cheap prices.
Bigdawg Myke36
Great food, great service and a very friendly staff. This is a must visit if you enjoy great home comfort food breakfasts. I will always take my friends from out of town or state here and it has never disappointed. Plan on a wait because it is always packed but it is worth the wait.
Faith Medrano
Super popular and fast moving cafe. Even with how busy they were, we still were sat in about 20 minutes. Plenty of seating to wait outside. Dog friendly. They’ve got coffee outside for you while you wait as well. Staff is very nice and quick to help. Food was definitely awesome. If you love a big omelet with lots of veggies or thick & fluffy French toast, try this place out! This is not your quiet and slow paced, calm type of stop; just as a warning. Totally worth it.
Todd Sansom
Double play is a great standard breakfast; two eggs, bacon or ham, toast and breakfast potatoes
minotauro rock
The place is excellent, they bring the food very quickly, the staff is super nice
Mareike Nachname
Best breakfast I had in Salt Lake City. Really nice little authentic restaurant and fair prices.
Traveling Foodie
It might have been busier than usual, but the food wasn’t that great.
Food-the super burger was big but charred and overcooked. There isn’t any cheese on it and as a result it was a bit dry. The potatoes were good and seasoned.
Staff-staff was really friendly. Even though the restaurant was really busy they treated you well and helped.
Ronna Gilford
Great place to fill an empty stomach. Customer service was also superb.
Kevin Andrews
Went here on the recommendation of another Google guide. Excellent menu with both typical and unusual breakfast choices. I had two large pancakes with an egg and bacon sandwiched in between. I enjoyed the on purpose mash up. Incredibly wonderful hash brown potatoes. They have an outdoor sitting area with one table by a fireplace. Just the thing for that hot and cold experience you know and love so well. Good breakfast places are easy to find this one rises just enough above them to distinguish itself from the others.
John Smith
Best breakfast joint around. Always has a line. Wish you could do reservations online or something but it's worth it because it's nice to wait outside by the park. They are very quick, prices are very reasonable, staff is very seasoned. Food is delicious and the vibe is on point. This is good old fashioned heavy, filling breakfast food!
whitney pete
Ate here before, ate here a year later same great experience both times, I'd gladly return again and again! Loved the food, especially those breakfast potatoes. Parking is small but luckily there's a nice park with safe crossing across the street! The outdoor seating is actually pretty nice its covered with heating so definitely an experience that was surprisingly good. Only good things to say, in short the staff is vibrant as well. Thank you for showing that having a restaurant is more than great food or size of location 😊
Staisy Shanon
My sister and I bond in this little Cafe. You might need to wait for a few minutes for a table, but there is a beautiful park right across the street to chill at. And on Sundays, the park has booths to look at different art and purchase beautiful pieces
Wally Fizer
Excellent food, great service, an all round fantastic experience! Might want to run with the short stack, pancake sandwich and if not into breakfast, the soup was full of flavour! Thanks Park Cafe!
Leah
I ordered the shooter's sandwich. I guess I had a different thought about how it would be pressed because I thought a panini type press but it ended up on the griddle.. As a result, the sandwich was a bit greasier then I expected and that detracted from the sandwich.
Zach Yenna
Great food, servers were very friendly. Busy so plan on a wait.
Mike Cundiff
The shooters sandwich with potatoes are excellent. Make sure to get the blueberry pancakes as well...pretty sure there were more blueberries than pancake. Coffee is very good too.
Ryan
I ordered the trippy hippy hash and they had it hot and fresh on my table in minutes! It was delicious and they get bonus points for cardboard to go boxes.
They forgot to bring me the grapefruit juice and I asked about it a couple times and they brought me orange juice lol. I like oj just as much so it’s cool.
Daniel Vergara
Food is delicious. However they need more room for the amount of people who come here. Very friendly staff
Omar
Food was good. Pretty standard breakfast. Solid meal. Also inexpensive. Everything under $10.
Karina Vigo
A good place for breakfast and brunch. Food is decent and not overpriced. Their drip coffee is nice (and you get free refills). The wait time can be long, especially on the weekends.
Update: I was very disappointed because of the extra charge for using credit card. I wish they've told us before swiping our card. They claim that they kept the prices same, but I feel like they both increased the price and charge extra for using a credit card.
Shayne Covey
I had the Odelay omelette with wheat toast and a coffee. The omelette was well-cooked with flavorful vegetables, salsa, and sausage - just a hint of spiciness to keep things interesting. The hash browns were nicely crisped without being burnt and complemented the omelette well. The toast was pretty standard fare, but a welcome addition. The coffee was flavorful and not overly bitter or earthy - a nice, inoffensive regular blend. With the generous serving size, I was easily able to take half the omelette and potatoes to go for breakfast the next day.
The staff were a friendly and helpful, despite the restaurant being very busy. I didn't wait long for my food, or for any part of the experience, really.
Overall, a great spot and a place I'd gladly recommend.
Lissette Diaz
After a Bad experience in another place, have to Say that this coffee is amazing. Not only that stuff is super friendly, but the food...my goodness. You need to try the chicken and buttermilk waffles their omelettes, they even have some kind of Mexican recipes... everything so good!
The waiters and hostess were rapid and efficient. Thank you!
Loren Teryl Green
Worth the wait, this Salt Lake institution is of the best places to get breakfast. The energy is fast place and the staff still keeps smiling. The food is fresh and well prepared. If you get the chance, come here often, eat everything on the menu, get to know the staff.
David Kent
The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. I’m coming back!
Luke Nicholls
I’ve been to The Park Café four times now and every time has been a delight. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the location is beautiful. I highly recommend their pancakes - best I’ve ever had.
Ryan Ronneburg
My family and I are visiting from Colorado and wanted to try a local restaurant. We found this place on Google and loved it tremendously. Has a great homey local feel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Large portions with reasonable prices. We had the Wild Western bacon burger and French toast with fruit and it was delicious. I also loved the soup of the day chicken noodle soup. Highly recommend.
Mark Sanders
Excellent breakfast food and amazingly fast service. Tables are very close together if ypu need a place with more space.
Adrian Bryce
Add to the others… great little spot!
Careful: the short stack is a very wide short stack:)
Christopher Stokes
Really good customer service but the food wasn't as good as I was anticipating from the reviews and word of mouth. Would I go here again? Yes. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff.
Andrew Sims
Fun, funky cafe in a great spot with a nice view of Liberty Park!
Great indoor and outdoor seating options. Cool patio space.
Other reviews mention that it fills up and this is true - we snuck a group of 7 in around 10:30AM on a weekday and it packed out spurns us and behind us! This is definitely on the list of necessary food stops and worth braving the crowds to make it happen!😊
The manager/owner and staff on the day we were there were on the ball and in spite of the crowd everything ran like clockwork and our food and service was great!
Gary H
Highly recommend this place! All the food was very high quality and arrived fast. Great value.
Danny Hetherwick
This place really is as good as the reviews. The food is delicious and filling. Staff is very friendly, the decor is tasteful, and the prices are cheap.
Mark CT
I'm seldom impressed by random restaurant choices even when highly rated. I felt lucky to be seated immediately when I stopped by The Park Cafe for Sunday breakfast. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs with sausages gravy and toast.
DELICIOUS - I literally savored every bite. The Park Potatoes are monumental all on their own. Full of flavors, crispy, soft, hot and delicious. Country fried steak was hearty, huge, juicy and flavorful. Service was top notch and the price was a shock. Extremely reasonable. I look forward to returning with friends/family. I can't remember the last time I recommended an eating establishment with 100% confidence.
Go, enjoy, savor! You will be impressed.
Aurea Parker
The food is amazing and very large serving and nice low prices. The wait staff is very friendly and brings drinks refills around. A very nice little cafe.😊 …
Norman Tsun
Excellent breakfast selection, great tastes, friendly service, affordable prices. Definitely in the "Must-go" list when visiting Salt Lake City.
Khuong Dang
If you get here early enough, right about 730am, is when you can feel the sun.
Hear the sounds.
Take a walk around Liberty Park afterwards.
Kirsten Molidor
Food was pretty good but not anything to write home about- except for the park potatoes which were delicious! Keep in mind they do charge an extra fee if you are using credit card.
Audrey Whitelock
Food is amazing, fast service! Only problem is it’s small inside so it’s pretty tight and very loud!
Kevin Stambaugh
This is the epitome of a perfect breakfast place. Fast, friendly and delicious. Huge portions and great cold pressed juice. Can’t wait to go back!
Eugene Engmann (Mented Talentosad)
Great food. Was my first time going there. The steak was great and the potatoes was flavorful. The eggs were yummy. The staff were nice and friendly. For the taste and service you get, the prices are very affordable.
Matthew Nance
Great food, awesome atmosphere. Loved all of the Star Wars artwork.
R K
Absolutely amazing food, owner is always onsite and staff is super friendly. Don't pass up the opportunity to eat here. I am now an out of town regular! I live in Austin but never miss a chance to eat here when I'm working in SLC. Worth it!
Michael T
Breakfast outside with a serene view! Perfect.. Great service and food.. Isn't that what we want.. Breakfast and lunch. Kind staff, casual dining...
Derek Fisk
I'm a fiend for good breakfast spots and The Park Cafe is definitely being added to my list. The restaurant is small, but they make very good use of the space. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we got in to the moment we left. All I had was the French Toast with a side of bacon and it was fantastic and filling. You can always easily judge a restaurant on how they prepare the simple dishes and this French Toast was next level. I would highly recommend the Park Cafe. My only regret was not staying another night in SLC so I could go again!
Raymond Reynolds III
service is always good.they greet you with a smile and treat every customer like family.i highly recommend this place.
Reina Meza
This is my favorite breakfast place in SLC. Their Trippy Hippie Vegin Hash and pancakes are my go to order as a vegetarian. 😋 I also LOVE the iced coffee they offer.
The vibe is loud if you go during peak times 9am-12pm. If you prefer a smaller crowds then go there before 9am.
Todd Sparks
Super impressed. We've had so many people recommend us this place for brunch but never made the trip since there always seems to be a wait. When we went, there was a 15 minute wait and it was absolutely worth it. Their brunch was some of the best I've had. I got the biscuits and gravy while my wife got the french toast. Both were amazing. It's about $10/plate before the tip. We'll definitely be visiting again. The employees were also super friendly.
Diana Ramsay
My husband and I visited Salt Lake City Utah for vacation and our bungalow was 10 minutes walk away from “The park cafe”. There breakfast menu is OMG delicious. Their food is just so amazingly delicious and filling and they have a good team to serve fast and efficient. Their location is great because it’s right across the street from Liberty wells Park. I would definitely recommend the park cafe to breakfast lovers and anyone who just love food.
Ashley Woodard
The greatest breakfast place to have ever existed! It’s our family’s go-to, always. The service is quick and they know what they’re doing! No complaints, ever!!! Can the management here teach other SLC restaurants how they do it? Hahaha
Ryan Bailey
Very small location with limited parking but the food was fantastic
Aaron Burton
Very friendly staff. Top notch food at a really great price.
Joshua McNeal
Healthy place with great food when i ate my burger it wasnt super greasy clogging my arteries instead it was super delicious and wholesome , and service made you feel super welcome a great spot with great prices .
Kayzia Carpenter
Great food for a great price. Only $19 total for two people. Pictured is the Gustavos burrito and Michigan hash.
Jessica Campbell
The food is delicious, the service is great and fast. A great local spot for good breakfast
Joe Burchfield
Been going to this place for years. Staff & owner are great! Usually a wait but any place good gonna have a waiting. Plan accordingly & well worth it
Kat Brown
Amazing service! And they let my friend and I chat for a few hours and were kindly refilled our coffee and water after we ate. Great food and gluten free pancakes! Delicious!
stephanie kobbe
Nice little Cafe! Creative breakfast options and homemade jam on every table!
Austin James
Wow.....
This place is awesome, we didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The portions are HUGE not my style but I can see how people love it. The personal vibe and friendly staff was great. We were sat quickly ordered quickly and ate quickly just the way a breakfast place should be! Will go back for sure
Travis Clark
Good food and ambiance, nice view of the park. Not exactly worth the wait on the weekend. There's better places with shorter lines around town.
Heather Hemingway-Hales
Crowded on a sunny Wednesday early lunch. Good food. Still wondering what is in the chai. It's very sweet, but I also taste cinnamon and I think pumpkin spice.
Matthew Lezon
My wife and I went here THREE times during our trip to Utah. Three! The food is fantastic and the the food always came out quick. Definitely recommend. There’s also the aviary across the road if you want something to do after breakfast.
Ross Jordan
This place is AWESOME! Love the menue, the food, the people...the people are spectacular. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended
A
Waitress was nice and professional. I tried to too her well.
Bar staff was using phone and touching things on tables. Not a good time for that. Phones are always covered in germs. And I think tables should be kept sanitary.
Happy their wasn't a wait. We got lucky by checking Google beforehand on the business.
Food was fresh.
steve quinn
Cute cafe with great food and quick service. I came here on a Friday morning and was seated inside right away. This place was packed but they were very efficient and quick. I ordered pancakes and potatoes, both of which were good. This is a solid breakfast stop. The food is what you'd expect of a diner. Really just giving this 5 stars because the service was great and the restaurant has a cute vibe. The location next to Liberty Park is great too!
Levi Brickey
It was great! Though, very limited parking. Picked up curbside because of Covid, and the employee walked two houses down to drop off to our car. That was really great actually!
The food was very filling too! I got and omelette and gluten free pancakes. I've got a wheat allergy and it was nice to finally have the option for pancakes. I didn't have to order both, but they had enough food options I ordered enough to warm up some as dinner :)
Wolf Thorne
Went here with my friend. The place was really nice, food was really good! The owner was very friendly as well!
Annika Lohrke
Years past this place was such a treat to go to and now I feel like I don't ever want to go there again. The potatoes were terrible.
I would say the best part of going to the park cafe is the staff they're super friendly, The food could use some improvement.
Joshua Meyers
Without a doubt my favorite breakfast establishment in SLC. The French toast foolishness is easily the best French toast in the state. The service is incredible. The Stagg is friendly. Although, you may have a bit of a wait before you are seated, the experience is well worth it. Whoever owns this place should give themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.
Nesha Niezrecki
Sausage was way too salty, potatoes were too salty, and they don't serve alcoholic drinks. The whole goal here is to increase table turnover and, while the waiters are nice, the staff makes that obvious. Overall, felt way too rushed and isn't worth it.
Peter Willis
Very fast service. Tasty food, big portions. Nice view. (My tortillas were stuck together though! That's a crime to a Mexican!!)
kylie callahan
Delicious food and great service. Ordered food to go and ate in the park.
Carly Renckly
All and all very good breakfast (my party didn't try any lunch food so I can't speak to that). I think my French toast a little more "eggie" but I'd still give it an A. My sister has the breakfast burrito and she loved it. Be warned, the place is pretty small so you may have a bit of a wait on the weekend. But they had coffee and a warm place to stand/sit while you wait. The out door seating was enclosed with heaters so it stayed a comfortable temperature.
Dena Burgert
Awesome little cafe! It was really busy, but our service was excellent and the food was amazing. They even had a coffee stand set up outside to keep you warm if you had to wait.
Camille Walker
Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. My friend loves it for the gluten free pancakes. There isn’t a bad choice on the menu.
David Perez
Decent biscuits and gravy, but the pancakes were underdone & had a strange texture, which was a shame b/c the blueberries in them were obviously fresh and really tasty. We were rushed the entire time by the staff even though it was 7 AM & it wasn't busy. I'd definitely give it another shot but it was a mildly disappointing experience.
Amanda Wilson
This place is super cute. It reminds me of a lot of little joints out of Richmond, VA. The parking leaves a lot to be desired, but whatever. There wasn't a wait when we came in, but it became packed really fast after we sat down. Service is amazing and everyone was really nice! I had the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Always had something to drink and never had to ask twice for anything. I don't know about the prices because my people paid for me, but it was really tasty and it was good to just sit and talk for awhile. I will be back to try the French toast! Someone got it nearby and it looked thick and was covered with powdered sugar! Once again, service was amazing!
Jamie RK
Delicious. Service was amazing. Everyone was helpful, not just our waitress. They all stopped to check in and make sure we were taken care of. They are also doing an awesome job maintaining social distance. The food was so good. Fresh, not greasy, and filling. 5 stars for sure.
Keith Venable
There is a reason this place is so highly rated. While traveling to SLC, I wanted to get out of my hotel for breakfast and did an online search for breakfast places. I decided to try The Park Cafe and in a word, WOW!!! Service was 5 star. Better than many 'high end' restaurants. Servers were constantly checking on me, refilling my water, etc. the food (Biscuits & Gravy) came out fast and was the best I've had in a long time, maybe ever. Atmosphere, it's an old house with a dining room and outdoor (heated) patio. Lastly, it's inexpensive and a great value for your $. I will be back!
Justine Sandoval
Worth the wait, we are from out of town and wanted to try somewhere local, this place did not disappoint. We waited fourth mins for our table which is what we were quoted and it was 100% worth it. The service is as amazing as the food, helpful and friendly, they are constantly coming by to fill your drinks and take any empty plates.
Everything was house-made, nutritious + delicious make an amazing combo.
GO HERE. We will be coming back every time we’re in town, we are now customers for life.
Emily Wood
It's a very relaxed atmosphere and the perfect breakfast spot. I love that it's across the street from liberty park. They have a nice heated outdoor spot to sit and it's lovely if you're able to sit by the fireside. They have good vegan and vegetarian options in addition to good breakfast favorites.
Danielle Buyea
The staff was really friendly and had great suggestions. Everything looked so good and fresh and they had regular and vegan options. The Vega muffins were amazing and I am not a vegan. My husband couldn’t stop complementing their iced teas and their sandwiches are very flavorful. Can’t wait to go back.
Nathan Peterson
Generous portions. The food was great, I got the biscuits and gravy. It was delicious. Service was quick and friendly.
Demi Petersen
I could go on and on about this place but I’ll try to save you some time to get over there and try it for yourself. Park Café, in my humble opinion, is hands down the best breakfast spot in SLC. There isn’t a bad choice on the menu, and they offer half orders for half the price. Everything is consistent here— from the food to the friendly service to the positive environment as a whole. I’ve never had a bad experience, and while there is a wait sometimes, it’s well worth it. Plus it’s right across from Liberty Park so there are things to do and/or a beautiful view while you eat :) Moral of the story: You should go.
Vince K
Love the food and the vibe here. Haven't been in a while as we gave night jobs and are usually sleeping during normal operation but that will be remedied soon. The dog watching is second best thing about this place behind the food
Siriah
Absolutely love this place! 10/10 recommend coming here. Their food is delicious and very affordable.
Skye Willard
The park is one of the most iconic brunch spots in the salt lake valley. This is a must do if you ever visit salt lake. It is located across the way from liberty park and has decent breakfast choices.
Personally I think the food is ok, the location is amazing, it can get insanely busy, but its a staple!
Erika Myhre
Y’all the hype is true. This place has a delicious brunch. The patio is dog-friendly too! Definitely a place you want to keep coming back to, even if there is a bit of a wait time. It’s worth it!
Alexis Call
Such a warming and welcoming place to eat breakfast! Wonderful food, incredible hot spiced chai, and outstanding service! I worked in the restaurant business doing service, and management for 11 years and believe me when I say this service here is great. My husband and I had a wonderful fall brunch date here and we will definitely be back! 🥞☕🍂😊❤️ Keep up the good work here!
Steven Jackson
One of the best breakfast options in the city. I took my family here when they were in town and also came here with some business associates while they were visiting. All of them were very pleased with the service. The staff is attentive and the food comes out fast, almost suspiciously fast. Everything tastes fresh and they way they prepare they breakfast potatoes set them apart from other breakfast locations. I would definitely recommend trying this place. It gets busy during weekend brunch times so if you don't like lines, try coming early on a weekday.
Lydia Gim
Man, I was so excited to finally eat here after living in Salt Lake for months. I went with my friends for brunch, and we hovered around outside at first since we weren't sure if the restaurant wanted us to go inside to put our name in for a table. No one looked at us at all or asked if we needed direction. When we went in, the hostess (younger girl) was not friendly at all, to the point where I still am not sure if we were supposed to have gone inside to put our name in. My food was super delicious (I got the B's and G's) but my friend ordered the vegan pancake and it was brought out literally still batter. All of our servers were great and apologetic about the pancake situation, and did a good job overall with our table. All in all, I'll definitely give this place a second chance because it is so cute and my food was good, but it was a little bit of an off-putting first experience.
Gareth Atkinson
Great food, fun staff, super location for Liberty Patk
7 WNTR
as friendly as human being can be! Food was great, price absolutely in balance!
Kim B
Was a great small little restaurant, very popular. Good food!
Mason Lugo
Delicious food all around. Great breakfast spot
Nina Michelle Kitchen
Loved this place, I get why they have so many good reviews. The food is well priced, filled us up, and is delicious! It was super busy when we got there but that did not stop them from taking good care of us! I am always nervous about bringing my kids to new places to eat but they were so prepared with coloring and animal crackers for my kiddos while we waited. The staff is so friendly and it is seriously the best atmosphere. We'll be back next time we visit Salt Lake City!
Rachele Rissler
The food was delicious and service wonderful.
The staff was very accommodating and the plates had generous amounts of food.
We sat outside on the covered porch and they had it plenty warm for customers.
Elise Garcia
Good food, great service, free ice coffee during the wait. Servers were right on top of refills constantly!!!
Dan Wagner
Update: still got great food, good service and friendly staff, but fyi, they now add a 4% surcharge to your bill if you pay by card, and they don’t disclose this, they just sneak the extra fee on you. Btw, visa and MasterCard only charge 2% and change so park cafe or someone else is pocketing the extra. Even your tip is increased by 4% if you leave a tip on card.
Love this place, especially since they were ready to open as soon as they were allowed to after the Pandemic. My only gripe is that they make you feel rushed by bringing the bill too quickly. I literally had taken two bites of my scramble today, when the waitress said "excuse me" and made me move my arm while I was taking a bite so she could set the tab down. Just wait until I'm done eating before you bring me the bill! Other than that, food is great, employees are really nice, decent prices, and since not as many people are going out now, you don't have to wait to be seated here!
jakecapko33
Everything you want from a diner experience and then some. The food was amazing and the service was even better. The owner is really passionate about his business which translates to a fun and family type vibe.
Tommy Christie
This place is the real deal. An old-fashioned Breakfast diner with some seriously good food and service. If you want a fill up of some hearty breakfast food, this is your spot. Reanne and Roger were phenomenal and the Spanish Omelette and blueberry pancake were 5/5. Go here for all of your breakfast needs without hesitation.
AL Lorenzen
The Food is delicious, the staff is friendly ( shout out to Cero)
Shane Truskolaski
Today was my first time here and it was great! Food was good with friendly staff and guests. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere as well. I'll definitely be back :)
Daniel Cox
Superb breakfast joint. They have some if my favorite hash browns on planet Earth. While living in salt lake I was a regular here. I came here at least one time a week every week for a solid 3 years. Every time with out fail they amazed me. The lines for brunch are always long but it's worth the wait. Staff is incredible even in the busiest of times they are more than accommodating. I recommend the daily special or the double play. CAN'T go wrong with anything on the menu honestly.
Katherine
First time here and I gotta say, the food has lived up to the hype. Everything is so tasty. Expect to wait for a line down the street!
Jessica Garvin
The staff was super nice. It was crowded but it took like 5 min to be seated. I got the French toast foolishness and IT WAS AMAZING! It included the best scrambled eggs I've ever had and yummy bacon! The French toast was also so good! It was a different taste of French toast. I love it! Me and my boyfriend will be coming here every Sunday!!! Also you might wait but the wait is definitely totally absolutely worth it.
Robert Knott
The staff was friendly and the location was very nice being across the street from a large park. The food however was mediocre. The breakfast burrito was bland and lacked flavor. A friend at my table also found their breakfast sandwich to lack flavor as well and was disappointed with their meal compared to other breakfasts we've had in the area.
Jason Rossiter
Big crowd, but very efficient and friendly with getting folks in and seated. Amazing food: maybe the best pancakes I've ever had. Perfect setting across from Liberty Park. Will definitely return.
shannon haynes
A hip family restaurant. I love making a stop there for breakfast when I'm passing through Salt Lake. They have a great Mexican flair to their food. Great selection of omelets!
emmaus man
Very impressed by service and quality of food. Hugh portions, great coffee. I had my breakfast order done in less than 10 minutes. Eggs Benedict. Great views of park. Will definitely return.
Warren Miller
After being in Salt Lake for three days I finally found the best place for food. Living in a small town in Montana you often look forward to traveling for new food experiences. I was disappointed in the quality of food until this morning. Wish I found this place the first day, I would have eaten here daily. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was inviting and friendly, you can tell they care about customer service.
Patricia Vidal
The park has a solid breakfast, nothing fancy but a bunch of different types of eggs in different styles with a variety of ingredients. I like it that you can pick different sides such as avocado, cottage cheeses or fruit.
Victoria
A Salt Lake City classic!! This is one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in the valley. The food is absolutely fantastic, the service is speedy fast, and the employees are super nice! Also try the spiced chai - really good!
Timothy Fitzgerald
The food here is great! The portions are rather sizable, so sharing might be a good idea. It is a very small, popular place. That being said, don't expect a quiet breakfast. Everyone is hustling and bustling with high energies. Call ahead to ask what the wait time is. I find that in a weekend, it tends to be upwards of a half hour. If you have the time, Thia place is definitely worth a try! I would say it is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast in Salt Lake!
Chris Cox
From out of town and luck brought me to this place. My day started out a bit stressful but the ambiance, food, and kind people working here made the experience amazing and I left feeling refreshed. Did I mention the food was amazing? I had a great view dining on the patio which has a beautiful view of a park with a lake and big trees. The next time I am in salt lake I will definitely eat/relax/recharge right here.
Abram Hadfield
Such good food and amazing atmosphere. I will be making this my breakfast of choice when visiting slc. I was seated immediately after entering even though the place was packed. And The food to price ratio was amazing. We took home leftovers and got a pretty basic meal.

Cozy spot where we waited about ~30 minutes for a table at around 10am on a Sunday. I got the Bases Loaded with steak and 3 pieces of french toast instead of regular toast. The steak and potatoes were fine but nothing to write home about and the french toast has definitely been overhyped. It was extremely ordinary and regular french toast. My buddy got the pancakes which also tasted pretty ordinary. Food is pretty much spot on with regular breakfast food but don't expect to be WOW'd.
Tommy Manning
The food was amazing. Our party got the pancake sandwich, vegan hippy hash, the veggie omelette, and French toast. All of the dishes were winners, and we will definitely be coming back. The French toast was especially good, and we highly recommend it!

Delish, great service, a little noisy
Emmalee Reynolds
Been here so many times over the years. I always have loved their outstanding service. Always so friendly and willing to take care of you. The food is fresh and filling. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy home cooking. Thank you!!

We went for our first time this morning and were delighted with each entree. We tried the multi grain pancakes, biscuits and gravy with sausage and park potatoes, and the Michigan hash. Everything was a generous portion and well seasoned and prepared. We'll definitely be back and bring our families and friends. I think I just found my new brunch spot.
Brett Einerson
I don’t need so many potatoes. Other than that this place is just perfect. Great breakfast, sweet or savory. There’s usually a wait after 8:30, but whenever you get in you’ll have your food in <10 minutes. For a family, this is golden. Love the Michigan Hash, the French Toast, the Biscuits and Gravy.
Also: the staff are tireless, attentive, kind, and efficient.
Alaina Majiros
Cute and comfy place for breakfast with excellent service. Angela was our server and she was fabulous. I ordered the Double Play, sour dough toast and side of avocado. Potatoes are fabulous so don’t let the bland look fool you. My man ordered the Huevos Mexicanos and he said it was delicious. He also ordered a side of peppers. Prices can’t be beat. This is located across the street from Liberty Park so we walked around it while we were in the wait list of 40 minutes.
Peter Harrison
I love this place. Let me say it again, I LOVE THIS PLACE. There can be long lines but I typically come in the lunching hour so there generally isn't a wait. They have great daily specials but I have a few standbys that I prefer. The Michigan Hash always hits a high note. You can't go wrong with the biscuits and gravy. The french toast is always light and fluffy. They also have a tremendous chicken fried steak. Great sourdough bread and homemade jam always tops it off. The staff is friendly, speedy and concerned that they got the order right.

I love love love Park Café! Always a good choice. The atmosphere the people and the food never disappoints.
Hailey Velez
WOW. such warm and incredible service. the food was delicious! When looking at their menu online i wasn’t too excited, but I was pleasantly surprised from the second i walked through the door. (i don’t ever leave reviews but i had to for this place) you simply must get their vegan hash and spiced chai!
Jonathan Cummings
Really good brunch spot. Busy, real busy. Biscuits and gravy are good, but the French toast was amazing. Amazing.
David Woodworth
We absolutely love the Park Cafe. Best food in town
Brian Gregory
It feels like you so often have to choose between quality and quantity when you get breakfast somewhere. The Park Café throws that out the door. Tasty options, quality food, and perfect serving sizes potentially make this my new go to breakfast place.
Also, their gluten-free pancakes are delicious and the size of your plate. Keeping up with the quality and quantity ratio that makes The Park Café stand out.

Excellent in every way parking will always be a challenge but 0ne block walk and parallel parking will always be acceptable for a restaurant thai is 75 years on one place. Huge omelets huge hash brown Idaho potatoes service very acceptable. So value 10 taste 10 presentation 10 return 10 two people out the door $25.00
Catherine Fuller
The food is home cooked goodness. Some much food for such a small price. I highly recommend the French toast. It was the perfect complement to the syrup. The servers were amazing. They answered the many, many questions we had and were just amazing. Wait time was a bit long but totally worth it.
Paul David
I met a friend here for breakfast. The cafe had great tasting food and large portion sizes. The waiters and other workers were very attentive. I would definitely go back to this place! Make sure you come a little early, because that place gets busy. My friend and I met at 7 am on a Saturday, and that was just right.

I come to SLC every year and I have to come to Park at least once every trip. I’ve been coming for 10 years and it never disappoints. The owner is extremely friendly and his staff is eager to please. The food is delicious and the portions won’t leave you hungry. This is by far the best place in town for breakfast or lunch. If you don’t come here you’re missing out. I love Park Cafe.
Estefania Aguilar
The place is like a well oiled machine. Although the line to get in is long, the staff is super quick at cleaning tables and getting people in. We ordered and got our food in less than 10 minutes (too efficient?) and the bill came out 10 minutes later. I thought the food was pretty good. I had the special which was a ton of food for a reasonable price. I'm not super fond of their breakfast potatoes, I prefer more hash browns than mashed potatoes for breakfast. Their gravy and jelly were really tasty though and I loved that I felt full with enough food for another meal leftover. My biggest quibble of this place is how crowded and loud it is. Since it's a relatively small location and they have high volumes and quick turn over all the tables are super close to each other making it difficult to navigate and difficult to listen to the person you're with.
Cameron Connolly
Absolutely wonderful experience. We had the eggs Benedict and the fresh pressed juice and I ate every bite and cleaned the jar with my straw. Definitely will be back again
Amanda Dailey-Hansen
Always a wonderful experience eating here. We usually get on the wait list and then take a walk in liberty park across the street. Fantastic breakfast- Michigan Hash for the win. DELICIOUS chai. Foos orders come out insanely fast and always hot. Highly recommend.
Heather Nuesmeyer
We come every year for my birthday. Love it!
Melanie Blankenship
Delicious food. Kind and efficient waiters/waitresses. Cool vibe. We went at the busiest time (Saturdays 9a-11a) and the staff was extremely level headed and kind even under stress. The portions were huge for me but my husband finished his plate. Would definitely come again! (Though I wouldn't recommend it for large groups as it's kind of an intimate cafe setting)
Rebecca Weber
I love coming to this place. It is super popular and always busy, but worth it! The pancakes are delicious and the veggie sausage was worth the try...really good! Definitely a great place for breakfast or lunch.
Licia Chang
Good food next to the park. Outdoor patio is dog friendly. The servers are friendly as well. Excellent selections of breakfast.
Andrew Stone
We go here for everything. They always hot and full coffee, the pancakes, the bacon, the french toast, the home fried potatoes, the burgers, the bacon, the french toast, the always like I like them eggs, the bacon, the kids cakes, the corn beef hash, the bacon. Did I mention the bacon, seriously the best bacon in the city.
This is not high cuisine, it is fast, greasy spoon diner food and it is amazing! There is almost always a wait to get in unless you do like us and arrive before 8:30 am. The crowd is as eclectic as the hood the restaurant is located in and that is a GREAT thing. You can take a walk in Liberty Park to ease your swelling when you are done.
I mentioned I have two kids. My four year old screams to eat here at least three times a week and calls it the "green house". My two year old calls it the pancake house. It's pleasure spans every generation.
Don't go expecting fine dining or long quiet brunch. Expect good breakfast food served fast and cheap.
Amy Kendell
This was my first time at this restaurant, a snowy, sunny Saturday morning. Four of us went for a late morning breakfast. Expect it to be very busy on a Saturday morning. Guests may grab some coffee and there is a tent outside with a heater to wait in. Or wait was about 20-25 minutes.
They are quick and efficient in how they run things. All of us were pleased with our orders, and I must say I appreciate how they prepare their potatoes for three breakfast dishes. #delish
I'd recommend this place to anyone, unless you're wanting a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast. It's too busy and not polite to other guests for such a thing. I don't know-- maybe it's not always like that, but it seems a popular place.
Parking in front is limited to about 4-5 stalls. I don't know the parking situation in the back, we just parked across the street at Liberty Park and walked over, worked great!
Samantha Ray
This is probably the most popular brunch spot i have seen in salt lake. Even in the dead of winter, expect a wait. They are kind enough to offer coffee or hot chocolate for those waiting in the winter cold. The outside tent is incredibly warm, and if they offer to seat you there, I'd take them up on it. Much quieter and you won't leave smelling like food. As for the food, it's your standard brunch fair. Eggs, omelets, hash. It's decent food, but nothing extraordinary. I had the corned beef hash, my friend had the omelette, we shared some pancakes. Pancakes were good, the homemade jam on the table was delicious, i wasn't in love with their corned beef, it was a bit dry and just not enough. Eggs were great, potatoes were like mashed, but not. Like i said, a decent brunch spot, give it a try.
Joe Rodriguez
The place is right across the street from liberty park so after I went to the park i came here and tried it out and boy was I in for treat. The service was friendly and quick. The food was awesome I ate the FTF great food really loved the french toast. I would definitely come back again
Allen Posma
Michigan Hash, worth the wait
David Campbell
I was in SLC for the first time and wanted a more unique breakfast other than crummy Hotel fare.
The service, food and ambiance were fantastic! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that the coffee was mediocre at best.
I am a coffee lover and believe a great breakfast should be complimented by a great coffee.
Nicole F
Best brunch spot in the state hands down. Food always tastes amazing like it’s home cooked and staff is always super attentive and sweet! All time favorite breakfast spot.
Brod Greenor
This delightful breakfast place is across the street from Liberty Park in a converted home in a residential neighborhood. It has limited seating -- perhaps 30 or 40 inside and another 20 or so outside in what was probably a covered carport at one time. We could bring our dogs to the outside seating. The Park Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch; its menu centers on breakfast. The breakfasts were of excellent quality and very ample portions. If there is a line (there was on a Sunday morning), you are welcome to help yourself to coffee or tea while you wait. The clientele was eclectic; not only a mix of Mex & Anglo, but a few more also. I saw a multi-generational Mormon family in Sunday School sitting at a table next to tattooed, spiked and pierced biker patriarch with three women family members. The staff was courteous and attentive. It was a grand experience.
David Abram
This little diner is a unique must-see for anyone with some time for a great brunch or breakfast meal. Don't swarm them with a party larger than six and you should be seated fairly quickly.
The decor is in good taste, just like the fresh preserves on each table. I appreciate this restaurant immensely
Claudia Adame
The staff is friendly, the food is delicious! There’s typically a wait on the weekend but it’s definitely worth it!
David Weeks
Edit: FANTASTIC service! Our server forgot to bring our bill for like 7 minutes. We didn't complain, but they took one of our meals off the bill anyway as an apology. 6 stars.
Bring your jaw unhinged: the sandwiches and burgers could play basketball! I highly recommend the "Miggy's Chile Verde" burger, though it's probably the tallest on the menu.
The tables inside are very close together, but the seats aren't cramped. I would still recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice.
I would definitely come here for dinner if it was open past 3...
Tyler Spencer
Hands down one of the best breakfast places I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. There is typically a wait time, but it is worth it. The setting is a cozy little restaurant that serves delicious homemade food. I have gone a a few times and everything I have tried has been top notch. It seems whenever I find myself craving breakfast, my mind and belly immediately remember the delicious food at Park Cafe.
Danny Barney
Can't say enough about this place. The corn beef hash is especially delicious. Everything is good.
Natalie Moldover
Curb side brekkers
We called ahead for two hot breakfasts today. Omelette with no eggs - so pretty much a bacon, veggie potato skillet with avocado. And a burrito.
15 minute estimate for curbside. Was done in 10. And there was a 45 min wait for a dine in table.
Great service.
And a delicious hot meal across the street in the sun at a table at Liberty Park.
Giordano Ashwell
The Turkey Bacon Melt was phenomenal! The grilled onions and mushrooms really added a great flavor to the sandwich. It also came with chips which were pretty good, but nothing different than chips you'd receive elsewhere. This place was popping with people and was packed when we arrived but my buddy and I were still shown to a table.
Lindsay Malone
The breakfast is quite good, but the wait on weekends is not worth it. There's way to many other local joints with delicious fare to wait for this place for 2+ hours. The Michigan Hash is amazing and the coffee is quite good. Great location being right next to the park.
Aaron Woodall
Never has a restaurant made such an amazing first impression on me. We went for the first time yesterday and there wasn't a single aspect of our visit that wasn't phenomenal. Nothing was even mediocre. Everything was great! Every single employee that we came in contact with was warm, welcoming, accommodating and efficient. (They were especially attentive to the needs of our two-year-old, which was great)
We ordered the French Toast Foolishness which was AMAZING. The french toast, the potatoes, the BACON! There wasn't anything that we didn't absolutely love! And the portions were big enough to share between two people. And for $8.50?? Such a deal.
All I could talk about on the way home is how we're never eating breakfast at home again.
Julian Isom
The food was very good, served to us within minutes of ordering, and wait staff were exceptional. The only reason I give 3 stars instead of 5 is for the hostess’s incompetence. The wait was long, to be expected for a popular brunch place, but we waited an hour to be seated (estimated time 25 minutes) and other parties (the same size as my party) that arrived after us were seated long before us. Inquiries as to when we were to be seated were met with a flippant “in a few minutes.” Only once there was no one else waiting for a table were we seated. We weren’t overly rude or annoying and I honestly have no idea why we were treated so poorly.
I’ve been a few times to Park Cafe and have always been very happy with the service, so I have to assume the hostess in question was just having a bad day, but still.

Usually good, solid food. Good brunch. My last batch of pancakes were pretty much dehydrated and had little black bits of something charred. Super nice servers. Someone nice will offer coffee about every 12 seconds. Nice lively family dining room.
Lindsey Knight
I took my three kids there on Monday about 10am. I am always apprehensive taking them out to eat, they are good kids but they are still kids.
They were busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly, within 5 minutes of arriving.
Our waiter, dark curly haired young man, came over quickly with waters and took our drink orders. Another staff member came by to make sure we had been taken care of. They were on top of everything. Drinks came promptly, he even gave the kids smaller cups with lids, and took our order.
There wasn’t a kids menu that I could tell but he worked it out so that we were not paying for an adult meal for the kids.
While we waited for food, which took maybe 10 min, the waiter brought out coloring books and animal crackers for the kids.
The food was really good, portions were very generous. The waiter, and other staff dropped by frequently to make sure we were ok.
Overall I have to say this was one of the best dining experience I’ve had.
Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome and taking such good care of a mom out with three kids.
We will be back!

My first experience for breakfast at this neighborhood eatery. I was pleased they offered coffee while waiting and the staff were very friendly and generous. I had the FTF French Toast which was on a special thick bread. The meal was tasty and well prepared. The mood was great. I will return with my family.
Tawni Russo
Love their delicious homestyle breakfasts! Portions are very generous! First time ordering pancakes, they were the size of my head, so delicious soaked in butter and syrup. Very busy, but worth the wait.
Steve Merrin
Honestly want to give these guys a 5. The food is really good and consistent. Service is fantastic as well, but I couldn't hardly hear my wife during the meal and to add to the note level the restaurant shouts order instructions several times after an order is placed. If you are looking for a bustling up and coming scene you'll love it, but if you're looking for peaceful and relaxing bring headphones.
