Reviews of Bricks Corner
Joseph Tegerdine
I wouldn't call this Chicago style deep dish pizza, but regardless it is delicious. The crust was just the perfect crispy, thick and soft. A great variety of topping combinations to try. We also had one of their specialty tots and it didn't disappoint. The food was served fast. Efficient, friendly service. I will eat there again.

Neat environment, good sound track playing staff was nice, super easy to pay had at table pay style. I would say the cost shown $10 to $20 would be for a single diner. We had cheese sticks to share, pizza, soup (came with garlic bread), one beer and a soda with 18% tip bill was $65.
We did take some pizza home. Will go again for sure. Salads look really good and the patio would be great in the spring.

This is truly the greatest pizza in SLC, but really all of Utah. This is a mix of Detroit and Chicago style pizza, and it's to die for!! If you haven't tried it, your need to get it TODAY! All my photos are completely untouched and filter free. Bricks is truly delicious and our favorite pizza since we found it.

Delightful local place! Stopped in for a quick bite after an afternoon of schlepping around the city.
Jami was fantastic! Upbeat and very helpful. She said everything is good, but I went for a pizza because they were voted best pizza in SLC in 2021.
I got the Roots pizza... A Detroit style crust with roasted veggies. Carrots, squash, onions, Brussels and whole garlic cloves. It was excellent!

The dough. The crunch. The flavors. This place's got it all! We have the mushroom pizza and it was incredible. We were in Detroit a month ago and had a Detroit style pizza there and this was much better. The best part is the crunchy cheese crust which every slice has some. The pizza is big enough for two to share and it fills you up. The tots were also so good. Nice and crispy. We'll definitely be back. Parking is non existent so you'll have to park on the street on 7th.

Solid Detroit style pizza place. Crust has a good crisp to it. Slices are heavy and filling. Staff is really friendly. There is additional seating in an enclosed heated porch area if the restaurant gets full. Definitely recommend.

Great place fun to try if you have never been. Pretty pricey but good atmosphere. It definitely has great ingredients. I’d recommend the margarita pizza out of anything. Just my personal opinion… some of the flavors were ok and not bad but just not what I “personally” normally would prefer. So I’d give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but decided to give more to support them. it’s a fun place to try and a local business that a lot of people really like. Come give it a try. Plan ahead they are busy!

Very nice to find Detroit style deep dish pizza in Utah! What a treat! Very good quality and service. Prices not bad - for 1 pizza and 2 beers with tip it was $40. Got the “brick house” pizza which is plenty to share for 2 people. I knocked off one star because their patio is not Dog Friendly. Will come back!

My husband and I took our three kids to Bricks Corner to try out their Detroit style pizza.
We went on a Saturday night. Parking is pretty much only available on the street although they have three handicap parking spots in their parking lot, I believe. Anyway- the place was packed, as was to be expected- BUT they got us a table within about 20 minutes. The restaurant was mainly full of college students and adults- I think our kids were the only kids there but that wasn’t a problem.
We ordered “The importance of fried cheese” and three pizzas- the OG Cheese, the Randazzo (pepperoni) and the Sweet Salty Pig.
We all really liked the fried cheese- and the marinara sauce. My husband and I really enjoyed the Sweet Salty Pig. It was nothing like we’ve ever had before! I’m a total wuss when it comes to anything hot but (after taking off the jalepeno peppers) I didn’t think the pizza was over the top as far as heat goes.
If your kids are picky when it comes to how they like their pizza, this might not be the place for them. Our kids didn’t like the sauce being placed on top or how crispy the bottoms were. They did eat the pizzas but we took lots of leftovers home…that didn’t get eaten once at home.
The service was definitely lacking. We had to ask our server twice for water refills. It seemed she forgot about us after we got our pizza.
Will we go back? Not sure honestly.

First time eating here. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and service was great. Ordered the cracked tots which were delicious. First time having Detroit style pizza. The crust was crispy and cheesy and overall delicious. I’d recommend splitting a pizza, I was full after two slices (comes with 6 total).
Nicole Faas
Really excellent pizza, and not outrageously expensive. Each pizza is 6 very generous slices, I think 3 people would be satisfied sharing one pizza, maybe a pizza and an app if you have somewhat larger appetites.
Pretty good beer menu. Appetizers looked very good too - we got the squash and brussel sprouts.
For a pizza we got the Sweet and Salty Pig, very happy with the choice. The jalapenos on it were awesome.
Christian Kanakis
Great environment, good friendly service, and brilliant green salad too!
Pizza is well presented otherwise its a bit 'naff taste wise. Pizza servings big so recommended for two people instead if a solo diner like me.
All the small details make for a great experience!

It’s ok. Based off of the reviews I was really hoping this would wow me.
The staff was nice enough. I kind of felt like a nuisance to our waiter. I’m not complaining. He just wasn’t super friendly so I felt weird asking questions, but I know not everyone is ready for a chat.
The inside was clean and we loved the overall atmosphere. It looks like the side of the building opens to a patio during the summer, which is pretty neat.
We got the fried mushrooms with pickles and cheese sticks as an appetizer. The mushrooms were good. The sauce they came with was A+. The only issue was that the bottom of pile was pretty soggy. My husband loved the cheese sticks. Portions were decent.
We got the French dip pizza based off of a suggestion. I just wasn’t wowed. It lacked flavor unless we soaked it in the au jus and then that’s all you could taste. There were plenty of toppings and the serving was generous. I think the sauce is a little bland and the cheese they use could be better.
Prices were a little high. We did agree that it could have been what we ordered. Most likely we will go back and try something different and update our review at that time.

We highly recommend this place for all things pizza, especially if you are seeking out, as were we, Detroit style pizza. Wow. We will be back..., Thank you Michael for making our experience all the better. The staff made the experience great too. 5 stars easy.
Jonathan Metzman
Honestly the best pizza we’ve experienced unlike any other pizza we’ve had. Its deep dish but something more special. The crust is so crispy like a delicious cloud from a dream imagine eating a cake but instead its pizza it will blow your mind. The environment is like a top notch dive bar with 5 star waiters particularly Omar probably makes the top 10 list of my lifetime waiter list guy is raw just like the pizza
Josh Karr
I almost hesitate in posting this review because I love this place so much that I don't want Bricks Corner to be too crowded, but I mean come on! Wow! The food is amazing! The beer is so crisp and the ambiance reminds me of a pleasant summer memory. Plus the staff here is amazing. A loud shout out to Kris for making a birthday celebration better than we hoped by being a candidate for the best waitress in the state. Thank you for the 5 star experience, this review is the least I could do :)
Kelley Ritter
So good!! Love the Detroit style pizza, perfect ratios of cheese, sauce and beautiful yummy thick crust. Great salads, drinks and skillet desserts too
Sarah Bohe
I rented the patio space for my over-the-top 40th birthday party, and I'm so happy that I did. Jami, the manager, became a full-fledged party planner; going so far above and beyond to make decorations, set everything up, and then single handedly took care of a constantly rotating group during my four-hour open house. And of course the food was delicious - my guests were raving about how amazing everything was (especially Jami). The buffet style setup was perfect; Jami helped me choose a great variety of items from the catering menu, and everything was a hit. Definitely go for the food and say hi to Jami!
Kurt Kaiser
Needing to provide dinner for over forty family members is no small feat. Especially with ten kids under the age of ten. We decide to cater the event and pizza is always a crowd pleaser but we want something special, just pizza sounded a bit dull. Bricks Corner is certainly not dull. I worked with Jami throughout the process, she advised me on quantities, options for various diet needs, and walked me through delivery and setup options. We ordered a lot of food, needed it delivered and didn’t have anything to keep it warm. It was not a problem, Jami arrived right on time, brought in carts of pizza, set up warmers, and worked with the limited space we had. The part of my family that was skeptical of “Detroit style” pizza are skeptical no more. The part of my family born and raised in Detroit asked to take home some leftovers. Bricks Corner's catering went above and beyond, even gave us a discount and threw in a few extra pizzas. Dinner went from being a stressful decision to a time that I got to sit down and eat with everyone else. It was a dinner and a night we all enjoyed.

I can't think of any place where EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in, I have an AMAZING experience! The crew that works here are so badass, and the pizza is literally the best pizza I've ever had ANYWHERE, EVER. I'm not being dramatic either, this is the greatest pizza from Utah to Japan. Nothing compares, and the employees make it that much more incredible. Thank y'all for the incredible pie, and fun atmosphere. Keep up the great work because you're KILLING it! 👊
Okay, I wanted to update my recipe because these guys (especially Jami who is PHENOMENAL!) are so incredible! I ordered a pizza and when I got home, it was different than my order. I called to see if I could bring it back and get my correct order, and they said of course, and to not bring it back, but they'd just make me another one. How amazing is that?! This company CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY blows my mind! They're up for a "best in Utah" on City Weekly, and y'all need to vote them for 1st place. Not just because they have the best pizza ever, but because their employees, and customer service is truly the best I've ever experienced with any company, anywhere.
Thank you so much for being so incredible, and PLEASE give Jami a raise, and keep her forever! She's the best, the kindest, helpful, and ALWAYS remembers me. She's seriously an amazing employee, so don't ever leave!!
Okay, get your butt to Bricks and thank me later.
Ps-Not one of the pics I posted are edited. That's simply how the pizza looks, and goodness it's beautiful!!

Brick Corner's pizza is built different. It is NOT deep dish, closer to a Sicilian style but baked in a steel pan that leaves this amazing caramelized crust. It's light where deep dish is heavy but still filling and still wonderfully unhealthy. Have yet to have a flavor that isn't delicious. Lunch special is an amazing deal, it's a mini pan (four "slices") salad and drink, I usually can save two slices for tomorrow if I'm being diligent.
Jeff David
This place has become a favorite neighborhood joint. I highly recommend the oven-fired squash & Brussels, cracked tots, sasso tots, wedge salad, and I’ve never had a bad pizza yet. More times than not, Kris is our waitress; she is fabulous
Nidhi Jha
The pizzas were tremendous but check if there is game night. Then it gets loud. You can hardly talk to each other if there is lotto night. Pizzas are enormous, and you can easily share with two people and still have some leftovers to take home.
John Pett
Unique but delicious Pizza. We had the Sausage king of Chicago. Really good. The cheese stick appetizers are really good as well. Good atmosphere.
Cody Steffensen
I really enjoyed this stop. Food and beer were great! Staff were very friendly, atmosphere and everything about this place was amazing I’ll be back for sure! Food was amazing for the price and the taste was packed with flavor!!
Marley Sete
First time visit- Best pizza in UT by a mile! Our server Kris recommended the fried pickles and mushrooms for an app, as well as the Randazzo and Margherita pizzas. Everything was amazing! Food was prompt and hot. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are. Dope food and amazing service…we’ll be back soon.
Yaser Rahimi
Fell in love on the first bite then hated my life by the third slice. That's how it should be. So full after half the pizza and left overs for tomorrow. The crust is soft and crunchy. Cheese was so gooey. The cheese pull was long. Needed more of that magic sauce but it was great. Over priced too though.
King Crafter
The food here is amazing. The server that served my group was friendly and passionate about their job. The food came out in a quick and timely fashion. The crust on the pizza was crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside and had a perfect crumb and texture. The sauce was very good and flavorful and there was just the right amount on each slice. The cheese and toppings were of good quality and the ratio of cheese to sauce was perfect. Overall the best pizza in Utah and one of the only places to get Detroit style pizza. Will be coming here regularly.
Roxy Cross
Oh, I will be back to this place! Looks like a full bar. I like their choice of music it’s indie classics kind of.
Great service… talk about Detroit pizza again! I am in a roll coming across pizza places with Detroit style pizza and they really do a great job on the crust using RO water and organic ingredients. I had the Salt Lake City pizza and added grilled chicken and artichokes to it. I should’ve asked about the size it would be because I now have about four meals so lunch is covered for this week at work! I had a glass of Sauv Blanc, and it was just fine. And like I said I’ll definitely come back and I’ll bring friends because this is a great hangout place and if you like sports bars, there are plenty of televisions, letting you know who’s doing what where!
Latuniua Toki
I love deep dish pan pizza! So I had to check this place out. I tried Bricks Corner today for the very first time and I wasn't disappointed. As a vegan I was happy to see that they have vegan cheese available. I ordered the Cheesy Mushroom Afgoo(sub for vegan cheese and no ricotta) and it was delicious. They don't have "a" vegan pizza but you can make substitution to any of their pizza's on the menu and shareables.
Be cautious if you're planning on dinning in, parking is for carry out only so you'll have to park on the street. I'd say give them a try and see for yourself.
Ryan Martin
Bricks was fantastic. One pizza is more than enough for two people. They have a solid beer selection and the salads looked amazing.
Brandon Evans
Went here with some friends on a Thursday night for food and drinks. We each got a different pizza so we could try a few of the offerings. If we go back, 1 would probably be enough to share as these things are loaded! But delicious. I would recommend the Salty Pig. Atmosphere was good albeit loud. They usually have some special drink offering on different nights of the week. Thursday night was trivia night. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely go back
Megan Johnston
We went to Bricks Corner for my moms birthday and it was delicious! Kris (our waitress) and as amazing! She was patient and attentive and even helped us move our party to the patio.
David Joseph
This place is too good. I love food and this place hits the spot! The pizza is great, the salads are delicious, and the cheese sticks are bomb! It gets busy so if you live close take out might be best on weekends but well worth the wait. Nice and homey dark-lit bar vibe.
Ginnina Peterson
The food was great, my favorite thing was the fried cheese and my husband's pizza which was the one with pulled pork. The o.g. cheese was ok, it just tasted like cheese bread. It didn't have the extra cheesy pull and cheese pizza should have. But the sauce is great.
This place is definitely worth the cost, and any wait time. It's a must try.
Kayla Suhrie
Without a doubt the best American-style pizza in the valley. Tried Brick’s Corner in May 2022 for dinner with a group of 6. We ordered mozzarella sticks, the Spartichoke (with added caramelized onions), the Margherita, and the Ruben Pizza (a special), then finished with a Dutch Apple and a Nom Nom Nom. We were full, had leftovers (each person ate 1/3 to 1/2 a pizza), and loved everything we ate. The desserts were slightly over cooked, but otherwise our experience was ideal. Go with friends to try multiple pizzas!
Carey Underwood
Absolutely THE BEST PIZZA in Salt Lake. Huge portions. Excellent service. Omar was an incredible help with what to order and try. We will definitely be back!!
Eric Gardiner
I’ve been here a bunch and also gotten take out. The pizza is excellent. I’ve had vegan options and meat options. They all taste amazing.
Ashley Daw
Everything here was great! Pizza was crispy and airy had amazing flavor. Parking is a little rough as they dont really have spots but the food makes it completely worth it
Sofia Broadbent
Yum! Good style pizza, meat one was good although the Hawaiian fell a little flat. Several tables around us ordered the margherita which will we be back to try.
Ed Roberson
Not your traditional pie but Ohhh Mama what an experience!!! Deep dish, superb crust, great innovative toppings. Try the fried cheese. Best ever.
Jeremy Mitchell
This place has a cool vibe and damn good deep dish pizza! The sweet pig is outstanding! Fun posters, wall art, and general decor.
Marshall Ward
Take your closest friends and head to bricks! The pizza are amazing and very filling. They've got multiple different options to choose from and even keto options with SAUSAGE CRUST!
You won't be disappointed and you will have leftovers
Abby Thompson
The crust is awesome!! Really light and fluffy, with super-crisp edges. The toppings could use some work though. The pepperoni was sub-par (really thin and not super flavorful) and the sausage was a little bland. They really layer on the cheese so be prepared for that.
The parking situation is terrible. There are no non-handicap spots so you have to park in the neighborhood.
To preface this next part: this is not a slight on the front of house staff (Kris held it down solo when we were there!) but a comment for management. We showed up on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one person working the front. There were at least eight tables seated, and five tables that hadn’t been cleaned. It was clear that Kris was just treading water managing the entire front of house herself! It was way too much work for one person and my entire group felt for her. Please plan your staffing better.
Gabbi Merales
I was raised in Detroit, and I can honestly say that this pizza meets my standards! Excellent light and fluffy crust that was just the right crisp and shape. And the toppings were fresh and done just right.
Live in Oregon now, but this has been the best pizza I've had West of Chicago. Definitely check it out if you're in town!
Angelic Quintana
The location is a fantastic addition to the area. Great feel and look. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The beer selection was nice and diverse.
The pizza is perfect, thick and light. My only complaint is while their in-house Caesar dressing is very tasty, they missed the mark with the lettuce. A Caesar is specific to romaine lettuce and they use iceberg. Not a deal breaker, but a bit disappointing for a Caesar salad fan.
Great lunch specials!
Shawn R. CooperRowley
Wow!!! Talk about a diamond in the rough. This experience was a new found favorite for me. The pizza tastes unlike any pizza I've tasted before. The feel of the restaurant is so warm and inviting. Thank you to Suzanne & Steve Catbagan for inviting me to experience your sons masterpiece.
Samantha Kivalu
This was our first time here, we tried finding somewhere authentic with good deep dish pizza.
We came here blindly but the ambience of this place was so cool. The bar, the artwork & hipster decorations—added personality to the place. I was in love with the Bob Marley mural, it caught my eye immediately.
We started off with the fried cheese & it was the best mozzarella cheese we’ve ever had. The cheesy was smooth and had the cheese pull. The breading wasn’t overwhelming and the toppings were fresh. Great shareable treat to start the night—10/10.
I ordered the cheesy mushroom afgoo. It was crunchy, it was flavorful, it had hints of sweetness from the cheese and it was filling. I added pepperoni and they just added more to the taste, great oven crisp texture. I wish they were hints of spice besides the dried pepper flakes. I loved it though—9/10.
We ended the night with their recommended french toast. BEST french toast I’ve ever had. The unique bourbon caramel ice cream with a fluffy yet crisp toast was an amazing combination. It wasn’t overloading sweet but hit it the sweet tooth in the right spot—12/10.
Overall experience was fantastic. The waiter was tentative and he had a welcoming service. The only reason it wasn’t a 5/5 stars was because of the price. It is a higher price for pizza but it definitely tasted like a quality pizza, on the higher end and didn’t disappoint us at all. We will be back for sure. Thank you Brick’s Corner!
Mad Thompson
I’m not opposed to going back but it also wouldn’t be my first choice. The crust here was great. Other than that, I don’t think there was anything special about it. I was a little put off by the lack of parking available. There were only three non-disability parking spots but they were all listed as carry-out only. So the only option was street parking, which may or may not be available close to the restaurant. There was also saying a sign saying to respect neighborhood parking and I’m not sure what that quite means — are we not supposed to park in the neighborhood?
I have to say that Kris (?) did a GREAT job trying to take care of everyone coming in especially considering that management had clearly understaffed the restaurant.
Jake Palatine
Sincerely blown away by @bricks_corner
pizza. If you find yourself in Salt Lake City do not miss your chance to grab some amazing detroit style pizza.
Josh B
Went for a work team lunch. Great location with a nice indoor or outdoor seating option.
The pizzas were great. Very hearty, filling and tasty. They have a lunch special of a personal pizza with a side salad. It’s more than enough for most people. I took half of my personal pizza home to finish the next day (which, after reheating in the oven, was almost as good as round one).
Can’t wait to go back and try more.
Cris-August McMullen
Good food and not very busy in the afternoon at least but took one star off because one of the waitresses was overly friendly and kept touching my shoulder. I won't share her name because I'm not a snitch but I have a nuerological disorder and sometimes physical touch hurts so just keep in mind that some people, especially people with mobility aids, shouldn't be touched.
Nate Zwart
This place might be my new favorite pizza and SLC! The Salty Pig was (chef’s kiss) really nice! Our server, Jill took excellent care of our group of 8. She was fun, had good recommendations, and was made the night great!
Great pizza, great drinks, great service! Can’t wait to come back with more friends!
Merv Leituala
Pizza is one of my favorite foods. And this place does not disappoint. It’s no wonder they were voted Utah’s best pizza in 2021. I’ve been here before and it’s always a good experience. Jamie did a great job in helping me put my order together. She’s super friendly and very professional.
Danielle Hackett
Awesome spot for some delicious Detroit style pizza. Crispy crust & flavorful ingredients. A must try if you’re in the area!

Great place to go have slice a Pizza
Beautiful Cozy Amphosphere to Chill
The staff friendly. I recommend come by a slice a pizza and drink.
Sarah M
Great Detroit-style pizza. Love the cheesy crust and deep pan style. The Mushroom is my favorite, but any of the pizzas with ricotta on top are good. Haven't tried the Thursday night trivia yet, but am looking forward to trying it. Good Beer selection too.
cosette robinson
To be clear — the gluten free sausage crust is NOT a crust with sausage. It is a giant sausage that they pile all the cheese and pizza ingredients on top of. I’m still giving this a good review because I can tell the regular pizzas are probably incredible, and the portion sizes are generous. But to be honest, the massive amount of sausage gave me heartburn and was kind of disgusting. However, I would go here every day if they had a real gluten free crust.
Lucianeler
It's a Detroit style pizza which isn't my favorite personally, but the service is fantastic. Wyatt is a great server and will treat you right!
Sam Cook
Had a great dinner at Brick’s Corner last night. Forgot to grab a photo, but the fried cheese is a must order! Ordered the Corner Margherita pizza and it was fantastic. The pizzas are definitely sharing size and could be split between 2-3 people. There is no parking and their lot but we found street parking very easily. Customer service was a little cold, but overall we had a good time.
Aaron White
Best Detroit Pizza in Utah hands down! Super crispy, yet super light. Sauce is savory without stealing the show. So good! Only downsides - no parking & the music is too loud, other than that it's a food lovers paradise
Riley Smith
Never had Detroit-style pizza before, but we've struggled to find good pizza nearby so we gave this a shot.
It was great! The defining characteristic of Detroit-style pizza is the cheese that covers the edges and caramelizes. And that is certainly one of the draws for Bricks Corner. Love me some fried cheese 🧀
Red sauce is banging and even my wife likes it even though she's generally not a big fan of red sauce.
We've been multiple times. Our go-to pizza is the brick house.
Very filling, very delicious, and lots of vibes
Kameron Tuckett
Casual neighborhood restaurant that specializes in "Detroit style" pizzas. Food is on point. Portions are large. Fun vibe. Today wasn't the first time I've visited and it certainly won't be the last.
It's a shame the brunch options have been nixed but there are plenty of other options to enjoy.
Kirk Holbrook
What a great find. Our grandson told us about Bricks Corner and we are so glad that we finally went for a late lunch. The staff (Jami and also the owner Josh, both great and friendly) were so down to earth and helpful in telling us about each menu item. Can't say enough about the wonderful and unique pizza that we had and wow what a great wedge salad. I highly recommend this unique little treasure.
Caleb Gardner
+ Delicious: This is one of of not my top favorite pizza I've had in salt lake city. The flavor was great, menu items were creative, but what really stood out was the texture/taste of the crust: exceptional.
+ Comfortable: Love the vibe of this place! Warm, laid back, and comfortable, while still retaining their attentive service
+ Accommodating: It was trivia night that night (inside was packed), but the staff was kind enough to reserve room for up to 15 for that night. Thanks Kris!
- Unclear: Only negative is that there seemed to be some confusion a few times we interacted with the staff. It didn't seem like expectations were well communicated. However, It was a busy night and I'm sure we probably had some responsibility in this too.
Caleb Cooper
The pizza was great! Very much worth going just to try the wonderful taste and creativity of what they make! The service was very poor unfortunately. No one was acknowledged when they came in the door. The patrons standing around were confused and became frustrated at the lack of greeting, acknowledgement, or idea of wait times etc. There no signs to help this problem either. Just felt ignored. After we were seated at a dirty and sticky table, we waited 15+ minutes and then engaged the hostess. It didn't really improve throughout our visit. Try it once, but find a place that will offer a better experience.
Trent Smith
This is by far my favorite pizza place in Salt Lake. I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Even when I'm getting take out, I'm still super happy with the service and the quality of food. I've never been let down by the food or service. If I'm ever craving pizza, this has been my go to for a while now.
Eric E P
I only write reviews when I’ve had an exceptional meal. That means highest quality foods, sourced from American vendors, served hot and with “at your service attention”. Bricks Corner nails all 4 categories. The Dinosaur Wings are worth the visit alone. Never seen “pizza oven charred” FRESH full size wings and now I’ll never order traditional wings again.
Regarding Pizza, these guys take the art very seriously. From the alchemy of mixing unique yeast cultures with perfect pH water - to the “old school” chunky, fatty, funky Chicago style sausage - it’s a flawless experience down to the addictive crust.
I would pay plenty for this kind of meal. As it turns out, their prices make this the best tasting deal around.
Amada G
Dude! This pizza was so amazing! We got the pepperoni pizza and added the basil ricotta and the Polynesian pizza (without spam) it was fiiire and then the dutch apple pie was so nice and warm, crispy top. My laaawd
Christopher Marley
Jamie and Kris were fantastic…. They were happy to help our large group of girls soccer team from the Real Salt Lake Academy High School. The service and food was great … thank you, Jamie and Kris!
I would recommend this pizza restaurant to anyone … and try their gluten-free pizza
Jamie Davidson
Very good deep dish style pizza - fresh ingredients, tomato sauce is fantastic! Note - this is more like a focaccia bread with lots of toppings - the majority of the 1.5" height of the slice is an airy, light crust.
I had the keto / gluten-free option - they create a 'crust' using their home made sausage which holds the remaining pizza ingredients in the deep dish. Very good.
This place is definitely worth a try!

Fantastic pizza. I've taken 3 Chicagoans and they loved it. The salty pig is my fave!
The crust is so good, the baking pan is lined with cheese giving the crust a wonderful crispy texture!
Give this place a shot and it may easily become your go-to pizza place.
Nathan
Came here for lunch and was really good priced lunch specials. Pizza and salad was really good, also the environment and art here is unique along with a nice sit down bar, will come back.
Matthew Lewis
While living in Salt Lake, this was far and away our favorite pizza place. Obviously, we wanted some t shirts to remember it when we moved out of town, but the ones we wanted weren’t in stock. Well, months later we called and Josh and Jami were quick to organize us ordering some and shipping them! Jami contacted me to set up an order and even took them to the post office herself to make sure we got them! Her effort to help us out and the owner, Josh, immediately responding to help make this happen is a clear example of the kind of people that made this place our favorite, on top of the best pizza around. We’re excited to explain to everyone we pass in our new shirts that they come from the best pizza place in Utah. Definitely will be back on our next adventures out west.
Joseph Wilson
Absolutely delicious and top notch staff. I came from a roommate's recommendation and I'm very happy I did. We got "the importance of fried cheese" appetizer and shared "the Italian beef dip" pizza. Both delicious. Really high quality food here. And the staff was friendly and accommodating. we'll definitely be back. I'd recommend sharing the pizza. It's pretty sizeable.
Scott Dance
Great pizza and great Detroit style at that. On the pizza I had, there was too much going on, although it was really good. Brussels and squash was really good although the honey didn’t come through. And the tots rocked.
Jacie Webster
Wow is all I have to say! We had a big group in for a business lunch and Jami did an amazing job serving us! She was so friendly, helpful, accurate and beyond accommodating for such a large group. And not the mention the delicious food! We did a group order of the cracked tots and 'the importance of friend cheese' as starters for all of our tables and they we're definitely a crowd pleaser. This place is amazing and will have very happy customers returning soon!
Adrienne Pierce
Had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews. I ordered a deep-dish pizza (they are huge and come with 6 pieces which could easily be split between 2-3 people).
The pizza itself was just heavy and bland. The service was good and the restaurant itself is a fun environment. But I have no desire to try it again.
Javier Fernandez
From MI, big Detroit style pizza fan obviously. This place….. better than any Pizza in Detroit. But, better than the pizza, the service. Jo and Jill made us feel at home. Great service with awesome pizza to boot. Highly recommend.
Trevor Lyells
Bricks Corner is one of our favorite pizza joints out there. From the food to the setting, you will have an all-around amazing experience.
Starting with the appetizers, the tater tots are a must. We also tried the polpetta platter this time and were blown away. Our favorite pizza is the Sweet and Salty Pig - pure joy.
It really is 'All about the Corner.' Cannot recommend this place enough!
Angie Crandall
Jamie was a great waitress and understood our needs and service without any problems or hesitation loved the service. One suggestion would be to your business is when you roast garlic to add on your pizza would be to dice it then add on pizza after you roast it. The whole garlic roasted and then added on pizza was so gross it killed my appetite. Overall a 7/10
Emily Shaw
Drove up from south Utah county. Waited an hour to get in (the only negative) - had the most amazing server, Omar. (Seriously - you should ask for him!) The appetizers were so good. Do yourself a favor and order the Sasso Tots! I was so full I barely ate my pizza.
Mandy Koe
Excellent Detroit style pizza. We tried the Spartichoke! The owner was kind and even came around to our table. I would definitely bring people to share because you will leave satisfied and full. We loved the outdoor dining area.
John Hales
Amazing pizza! So delicious. Staff was friendly and fast. Brussels sprout and squash appetizer was good. Only so much you can do for Brussels sprouts IMO but these were good and loved the squash.
Frederick Coles
Bricks Corner did not disappoint. It is a regular go to for amazing salads (Brick Wedge) and the Detroit Style pizza is heaped high with delicious toppings. The portions are generous and Jami is incredibly pleasant and offered recommendations that were delightful.
Katherine Beras
Best Pizza EVER!!! Hands down 🙌🏻 our waiter Joeline (Joe) was awesome. She recommended the chicken wings and they were PHENOMENAL. Super crispy and flavorful, I hope they leave it on the menu permanently.
Samuel Spector
Very unique, different type of pizza than anywhere else I’ve found in Slc. Really good and great atmosphere. We had Omar as our server, he was awesome and super friendly, nice and attentive, even getting our toddler her own bowl of chopped up vegetables. Thanks Omar!
Teresa Tipps
Visiting SLC, this place had the most stars out of the pizza joints and it was close to our hotel, so we went and we loved it!!! The waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable, and the pizza was to die for!! Very casual sports atmosphere, very comfortable and relaxing. Can't wait to go again!!
T. K
I loved how the pizza was unique. Open face sandwich style. It was sooooo good the salad with fresh made dressing very good. Jamie was our server. Her service was warm friendly. Food was hot. Fresh..h.m..mmmm
Isaac Brewer
Jolayn (just Jo for those who can't remember how to spell it) was just as fantastic as the food! It was my first time here. They recommended The Brick House lunch special. And boy oh boy was it special!!! (And great priced!) I had the Rosemary drink. 10/10
Landon Goodman
Guys, Gals... please do yourself a favor and go eat at Bricks corner! The pizza is to die for! Have not had a bad slice yet. Must try with the balsamic sauce, GAME CHANGING! The other food is just as good, but I can't get enough of the pizza! Sometimes, service is slower, but it is always worth the wait!
Bryan Embley
Great pizza with lots of toppings, sauce with good flavor and perfect pan crust. We'll be back!
James Chiang
Food was delicious! Atmosphere is cute and cozy. Our server Jami was the sweetest and took care of anything we needed efficiently and also has a great sense of humor.
mustafa Suwaylih
I have going by this amazing restaurant for while I finally had the chance to try it. What an amazing experience, the food was really good I liked the square pan pizza, and I would say it’s the best. Our server was SID she made the everything easy for us. Explained everything and I really like the recommendations she gave us. One pizza will be enough for two people. I had the cheesy mushroom Afgoo.I would definitely come back!
Kim Gorsek
I'm new to SLC and heard about Bricks Corner from a few folks (even another pizza place in town). I finally had the chance to try it today. Holy cow! This lunch special is incredible. I was (almost) full after eating the salad. And the Bricks pizza was loaded with toppings. Highly recommend. And say hi to Jami! She's the server with the smile.
James W. Loudermilk
I haven't found anything on their menu I didn't like. Good quality ingredients, great presentation, and amazing flavors. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas!
Kristin Hessick
Really cool atmosphere but a bit loud. I saw mostly young people under 30. No parking on site unless you are getting takeout. The pizza is amazing. So was the fried cheese.
Jeffrey Parquette
Our first time. The place was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The music was amazing but to loud. But the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable. Easy to find and parking in the street. 👍🏼👍🏼 …
Monica Jensen
Just passing through but had to try the mozzarella sticks, and the fry bread. Mozzarella sticks were good, but I thought the fry bread was phenomenal. Try it dipped in the Caesar salad dressing 😍
Gwynne Arrington
I got the avocado-ricotta open faced sandwich and it was SO GOOD. Friend got the king of Chicago-SO GOOD. Amazing tomato sauce. We both could only eat half—I bet it will be delicious later!
Went during lunch, possibly understaffed but the staff were lovely.
Carter Foulger
This place is fantastic, parking sucks. Food and service are amazing, honest Detroit style pizza that is made in house. Also the burger is awesome (get the fried egg, it's worth it).
Patrick Evey
Oh my god. This place was off the charts delicious. I ate way too much food. Burger was very basic but it did not disappoint in the slightest bit. We also had the sweet salty pig pizza and it was a 10/10 no question. Then we decided to order the Randazzo (pepperoni pizza) and it stole the show for me. My favorite pizza is just pepperoni anyway so maybe I was a little biased but damn. This place was something SLC needed for sure.
Jason Davis
Got a chance to try Detroit style pizza finally and these guys made my day. Service was great and the food even better. I own a restaurant that demands better and these guys are doing it all right.
Matthew Goad
With no visible hours of operation posted anywhere, my son and I unknowingly came in with less then ten minutes prior to closing time. Despite this very taboo transgression, our server Caleigh, shined brighter than most. She is the true epitome of what a restaurant employee should strive to achieve; friendly and knowledgeable, even went above and beyond to provide a level of service I've not seen in a long while.
Caleigh went as far as finding out the answers to my questions about the menu that she wasn't sure of, all the while handling her other remaining tables and rolling her share of silverware/sidework. She gave an authentic style of service, making our first visit one to cherish and not soon forget; all the while having us looking forward to our next visit before we graced the exit.
Our host Kris must be a diversity hire as she saw fit to treat us dismissively upon arrival. She carried our waters to the table atop the plates, leaving the one unusable and dripping with water. Not entirely sure why she hasn't had any assistance in behaving in a descent manner for her very important role as host.
The kitchen held nothing back, delivering with the most insane and incredibly tasting pizza I've ever had the pleasure of eating... And I've had true Chicago deep dish, in Chicago.
Brad Devroude
I always try to eat here when I am in SLC. The Detroit style pizza is the bomb. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The staff has always provided good service.
Neal William Sheehan
I've enjoyed other pizza places in SLC more, but this brings a unique style to the city, which I appreciate. I'll go back whenever I'm missing deep dish since this is the closest you'll get around here.
Tara Lowery
I am so impressed that I’m writing this as I’m eating! 😂😂😂 Hubs and I came in town for Hoopfest and decided to give this place a try. We’re so happy that we did! Pizza is great, waiters are kind, and did I say the pizza is great! 😂😂 5 Stars!!
Jay K
Every single bite was a delight! By far my favorite restaurant in SLC. Cool atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and dinner was so good we got some to go to eat in lot at the Bird tomorrow.
Mike Haberman
Happened upon Bricks Corner. They are generously donating their lunch special to Sundance volunteers. Really good pizza. Great service. The rest of the menu looks real good too.
Brett Einerson
Neighborhood bar atmosphere but space and accommodations for family. Not too many spots like this in SLC. Oh. The buttery pizza crust is best in the city.
Ali Darvish
Sfincione! Very impressed with the pizza. Comes out like great Sicilian sfincione, something I wouldn't have expected in Salt Lake. They clearly put a lot of care and effort into the pizza, seasoning every component individually. Highly recommended!
Mike Capps
Incredible pizza! Easily some of the best I've ever had. Great service, good atmosphere, and a great drink selection. I will be back many times! Some in the reviews have complained the music was too loud, but I think it's the type of music they play vs the volume. Heavy on mids and trebles, which makes you have yell to overcome them, i.e. Rock. Wouldn't mind a different genre that wasn't so hard to hear over. Or use your mixer and reduce the trebles and mids so we can hear each other instead of other patrons at the bar who are yelling so loud that the entire establishment can hear them.
Kevin Hancock
Pizza has kept it's quality and only has risen price slightly due to inflation. I'm from Michigan and this is definitely better than Buddys pizza now. True Detroit style.
Joe
I have had just about every variety of pizza here and I have enjoyed them all. Delicious!!
Stephen T
Great food, friendly service. I recommend the margarita pizza with Italian sausage or pepperoni, and the sasso tots!
Chris Allen
Incredible Detroit style pizza!! By far the best pizza in Utah! Salty pig is out if this world! Crust is heavenly perfection!!
Zachariah Empey
I 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a sit down place with the best pizza!
Food - Perhaps the greatest deep dish pizza I’ve ever had! I’m never disappointed coming here and I always leave satisfied. The single pizza are easily big enough to share with two people, but it’s so good that want it all to myself! It reheats perfectly well for another tasty indulgence when I’m home later!
Server - JILL was the perfect server! She was super chill, polite, and my table had a great time jokin around with her! (the fact that she’s also really cute is a pleasant bonus)
She checked on us frequently to make sure all was to our satisfaction. The wait for the food wasn’t long and appetizers come out at just the right time.
Atmosphere - relaxing atmosphere. Dim lighting, comfortable, and easy to stay and chat with friends while waiting for food.
Jordan Frandsen
Great pizza place in a nice neighborhood. They run a pretty smooth restaurant over there. We went on a Friday night, and were seated quickly, actually waited longer to get on the list than after. My wife and I tried an appetizer and a pizza, both were very good. Omar provided great service, the food came without a huge wait, everything was super tasty.
This is a great place to get your Detroit style pizza fix.
Cody Naccarato
Crunchy. Just like Detroit pizza did be. Big fan of Bricks Corner. The crust is perfect. The pizza is amazing. Personally I'm not a fan of the BBQ pizza that has win many awards, but if you like BBQ pizza you'll live it. Their more traditional pizza are perfect in every way. They have great outdoor seating as well.
Sarah Bly
So good!! We always take our out of town guests here. Favorite pizza hands down! Loved having Kris as our server Saturday. 🍻 She was amazing. 👏🏼 👏🏼 Highly recommend. I will say this was the first time the brickettes were recommended- perfect for our daughter. ❤️ Y’all need a kids menu! …
Taylor Lamb
I love this place! Pizza is amazing. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian be warned that the gluten free pizza, for the crust they do sausage which everyone has told me Is really good who’s had it!
I just don’t eat meat so I’m trying to remember what else I got instead. I think it was an impossible burger or the beyond meat maybe, but worth checking out for sure! Authentic deep dish Chicago style pizza.
Ben Quist
Great atmosphere. Seems to be better service in general seating than at the bar, but obviously you get seated faster if you opt for the bar. Food was good.
Matthew Montgomery
Have you ever eaten a gluten-free pizza where instead of crust, you had Italian sausage? Now I have. Still not sure what to think about that, but it was tasty.
Karl Jennings (KarlBear)
Thick deep dish with crispy edges. Delicious house combo pies. Fresh salads as well. Staff was friendly and takeout was ready to order ahead and pickup time was accurate. Will definitely go again.
Tom Ashby
Been wanting to try this place for a while. Happened to be in the area on a Monday afternoon. Fast service, amazing staff! Cool hostess, Jami! Pizza is cheesy crispy goodness!
MacKenzie Swan
Bricks has easily become our favorite pizza joint in the valley--their Detroit style pizza is amazing!! Our food has always been delivered to our table quickly and the staff has always been friendly. They have a good drink selection, sports are always on their TVs, and of course I have to mention the pizza again--I've had at least half of their pizza options and they've all been great (the brick house would have to be my favorite though!).
Tanner Lloyd
Food was awesome. Pizza was thicc and delicious. But the best part was probably the service. We had a waitress named Jill who was awesome. She was sure to make sure we had water. Which was good cause we were thirsty. Will for sure be going back just for the service alone.
Maximilian Hofmeister
April 21st we stopped in here after my naturalization ceremony and becoming American. They were fun, accommodating and made some wicked good pizza. The flavors of the pizza vary greatly and in a good way. If you’ve tried New York style and Chicago style you have to stop in here and try Detroit style. It’s awesome. We will be back for sure.
Calvin Tew
Best pizza in salt lake for sure, granted you have to like Chicago style pizza. The edges on the crust were so good. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. The bar manager, Skyler, was very personable and the drinks were great. We had an old fashion, Moscow mule, red rock sunrise, and another drink that is escaping my memory. My girlfriend and I split a single pizza and it was a perfect amount for the two of us.
Jared Hickman
This is easily some of the best pizza in Utah. Detroit style pizza is also some of my favorite as well.
Here at Bricks Corner the dough is light, fluffy, yet still has an amazing crunch with the under carriage. As well with the caramelized tomato sauce on the edges with cheese.
HIGHLY recommend. As I mentioned it is some of the best pizza in the state and honestly my personal favorite.
Matthew Hanson
Love the Detroit style pizza. The fresh giardiniera is great. A very decent beer menu as well.
Glen McDaniel
Recommend the Brick pizza with chili dipping sauce, wedge salad, and grilled pineapple jalapeno margaritas
John Ward
Tried Bricks Corner last Friday night really large deep dish bread style pizza, good flavor with lots of topping options, also had the fried pickles and mushrooms which were also good.
Jared Baker
Pizza like you have never had. Famazing!
Amazing company!
Adair Allen
Super yummy pizza. They have a great Keto pizza too. Service was great and atmosphere is simple and comfortable.
Jan Lowe
I'm not a huge fan of pizza in general, but I could not stop eating - even after filling the leftovers box I was picking crumbs off the plate. Great beer selection, nice patio, completely unique and totally delicious pizza.!l Our waitresses Kris was awesome, she took great care of us and even offered to give us a kitchen tour to see the pizza kiln. Super cool to reconnect with her after years of knowing her from another restaurant pre-pandemic.
Phil
Waitress Jill came with a great recommendation, service, and smile. First time there and probably go back next time im in slc with free time.
THE RANDAZZO!!!
Ryan Mager
Funny waiter, the brick pizza was really good and the sauce with it is a must try. Good beer choices as well!
Kylie Anyce Bearden
The best pizza in town, especially if you love deep dish! Toppings are phenom and the red sauce is to die for. Great atmosphere as well.
Jason Prendergast
Pizza was amazing, Omar our server was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend
Lindsey
Really good pizza with unique flavor combinations.
Adam Davis
A great mixture of classic pies and unique creations. The thick crust eats more like a light focaccia. You'll find all the essential elements of a great Detroit-style pizza. There was a wonderful neighborhood feel with couples and families of all ages when we visited.
Kelvin Ruiz (Kenny)
Amazing place for casual dinner and drinks with friends. Pizzas are flavorful and so are their drinks. Has easily become one of my go to places on sunday nights.
Zach Stringham
I love this neighborhood restaurant we had the bricks salad which was exceptionally crisp and fresh.. had a recommendation from Dorian about a 2x4 beer from Melvin brewing and if you want to seal the deal get Omar as your server! So friendly and attentive with a great service forward attitude! All in all the afgoo pizza and Omar are the way to go for a great dining experience!
Jacqlynne Moore
Jane was our server and she was so hilarious and kind. The food was great and it is just always a good experience grabbing lunch here. Definitely recommend and ask for Jane.
david Iba
We order pizza for our office and had a large amount of pizzas. The pickup was easy and they helped me with the pizza to my truck. The pizza food quality is really great and so many different pizza options. Really great, we will be back.
Rachel Baird
Everything is so delicious here. The salads are next level and the pizza is my favorite in the the whole state! Jamie is amazing and always takes excellent care of us. I am always planning my next visit!
Jared
Best deep dish in Salt Lake. Service is subpar, but food is worth it. Zero parking, so prepare to hike to get here - they didn't plan that when they built (or decided to lease) the place.
Miguel Allende
The Sweet Salty Pig was amazing, loved the ambience. My server Jill was so charming and helpful, probably the best server I’ve ever had in my whole life!
Paul Herrera
This place is always a go to. The drinks are on point and the servers are kicked back very patient and explain things perfectly. I will return as much as I can. The parking sucks but worth parking down the street for.
Gravity Bong
Was not ready for how good this pizza was. Great selection of beers also! They are out here winning. Thanks you guys!
B T
Salad was ok. My husband said his pizza was good.
Music was so loud, server couldn't hear what we were saying. She made a comment about how loud it was, but didn't turn it down. Difficult to carry on a conversation. We were the only ones dining in.
T Kel
Man, I like this place! Food has been consistently good and the seating area is attractive- good vibe. Only challenge sometimes is finding parking. Keep up the good work!
Alex L
Excellent food, lots of options, and great attention to detail. Prices are steep, however. $16 is too much for a single lunch. I'd rather have slightly smaller portion sizes for $3-$4 less. Also, parking is a problem and service is inattentive and SLOW. Still, I'd probably go again.
Spencer Sim
Soooooo good. Very filling! Do not try to eat an appetizer and a whole pizza by yourself sharing is key here.
RS
Great Detroit Style Pizza 🍕. Many different styles. Solid drink menu and environment. …
Sessie Tippets
Good God this is excellent pizza! Like blow your socks off and make you eat till it hurts GOOD.
Douglas Turner
Best SLC deep dish pizza, and it's not close.
Crust is amazing, sauce is brilliant too.
Jimmy Olson
I hadn't had "Detroit style" crust until this place. Very thick . . . but also very, very good! Their pizzas take awhile to cook, but are worth the wait. I got the Polynesian Pie. Simply delicious . .
. and trust me you'll have plenty of leftovers if you get a pizza just for yourself. Six topping-packed pieces per pie. Rich and filling. Perfect pizzas to share with someone. Nice selection of beers too, and a full bar. One diner in our group got the wedge salad, and said it was great. It certainly looked good. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, so high marks for service as well. Go . . . You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back! Highly recommend.
George Barrett
I have found my favorite pizza place here in Utah. What made it even better was the staff and service. I can’t thank you enough for giving us such a great time. We were there with some friends with kids and they accommodated us to the fullest. I feel Utah has some decent pizza places but this has now set a new bar for great pizza!
I haughty recommend a dine in as well for the full experience.
Robert Owen
Omar was amazing at Bricks corner. Pointed out the best items on the menu and actually had conversations with customers. Best waiter. On top of that one of the best “hole in the wall” restaurants I’ve ever been too. Strongly recommend, some of the best food I’ve had in the valley.
Erika Myhre
Went there on 3/5/22. First, the food was phenomenal! You absolutely have to come through for their pizza. Second, I had a mistake on my bill on this busy Saturday night. I reached out to Bricks and the owner Josh made it right. He was really responsive and it’s clear he cares about his business/customers. Definitely makes me want to come back again. Thank you, Josh, Bricks, and your team!
Joshua Marx
We got the Sasso Tots and Salty Pig pizza and both were amazing. We really enjoyed the food here and will probably come back. The crust was light, which was great as we worried it would be too dense since it is thicker. And the toppings were piled high on top of that. So everything was delicious!
The parking here is not great. There is no on site parking if you want to eat there, so you have to find street parking in a tight neighborhood. Also, the music was pretty loud. I know that appeals to some, but made it harder to talk. Finally, the appetizer came out after 15-20 minutes, but the pizza took almost an hour. So those are the downsides.
Even with those, I would recommend it.
Azriel Hymn
We came, we saw OMAR and he conquered the land. A God among mere mortals. Saint Omar the patron Saint of the hungry and parched. Our bellies full and our thirst quenched we were now ready to venture on our quest.. Needless to say if we see the Demi God again we will bow in his presence. He alone commands the respect of all the sheeple. May his luscious locks carry us to the great beyond. Amen.
Oscar Amado
You know the food is good when you start doing the happy dance, this place has a great food and an awesome atmosphere.
jp2
I from NJ and you're not. You're from here and don't know anything about pizza so please don't comment if you do not love this place. This place is really great I highly recommend it. Also, there is really no good pizza when you do take out so if you want to experience a good pizza you'll have to eat it there. It is a different style of pizza but very good I have been there twice in the last month and can't wait to go agian.
shawn hamilton
Nice spot for dinner. Pizza is really good. Salads are amazing!!!
Brian Meid
I love the atmosphere there and the way the place is decorated. The pizza there was fantastic though. The crust is crunchy on the edges but soft in the middle, a generous amount of toppings too. Very delicious.
Nancy Perkins
Great place for a party! I have eaten at Bricks a few times and it has always been delicious, so we decided to book the patio space for a graduation party. Everything went incredibly well. I can't say enough about Jami. She was easy to get ahold of, so helpful and really went the extra mile for us. She asked me what school my daughter was graduating from and then she created table centerpieces for with the school colors- no additional charge, just an unexpected personal touch! Our server was excellent. Food was delivered right on time, (we pre-arranged the timing of each course), and it was hot and yummy! Everyone that attended was impressed. I would definitely recommend Bricks Corner for a party, date night, lunch- whatever. It's a welcome addition to the valley!
C. Derick Varn
Excellent pizza and a solid cocktail bar. It's a smaller venue so it can be hopping on weekends.
Robert Morris
Jami and the staff are super friendly and personal. Great pizza and atmosphere.
Scott Thomas
There was a huge core in my salad and they didn't give me any dressing with my to go order. The pizza was good, the salad was terrible. I probably won't go back.
Austin Mark
Some of the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. Coming from a Chicago transplant with high pizza standards, I love it. Jill waited on our big party and she was great
G Loredo
Good option for Detroit style pizza, we had the cheese and enjoyed but my only want was more cheese on the cheese pizza
Tascha Carlucci
Great pizza and service! Thank you Kris for taking such great care of us. Truly best Pizza in SLC!
Vince Grimm
That is some amazing pizza. Every bite was full of flavor. It lights up your taste buds. The service was excellent, friendly and right there with drink refills and clearing salad plates. I can't wait to go back and try another pizza.
C.j. Fett
Didn't really care for the crunchy crust in the beginning but enjoyed it by the end. What makes a good pizza is the marinara and they do have the right flavors going on. The side of chicken kebab was really good. The only issue I have is the price for the portion size. Everything should be about 3 dollars cheaper imo. It's not amazing but pretty tasty.
Michael Hasebroock
Very awesome place to get deep dish pizza. Each Pizza is enough really for two people but if to get one each you'll certainly have leftovers. The selection and variety of pizzas are fabulous. Something new to try for everyone. The music is kind of loud in there so it's difficult to carry on a closed conversation but has a good vibe overall. The service was excellent as well no issues there and would definitely go again. The parking is difficult, you do have to park on the street north of the restaurant and you might have to walk a little bit but just be careful not getting towed and knowing when you can park there and when you cannot. It might be easier to do take out if you don't want to do dine-in.
David Tanner
They say Detroit style pizza on the menu. I’ve never been to Detroit, but they have pretty unique pizza. I really liked it a lot. They try a little too hard with some of their pizzas, but for the most part, they’re very good.
Zach Williams
Great pizza and really great service. We were really happy to find a number of options without meat as well. Highly recommend.
Emily Barbour
Lots of pizza for a good price! Great atmosphere. Kris, you were amazing!! Can’t wait to stop by again.
Kimberlee Cook
This was the first time I ordered To Go from Bricks and it was such a pleasant experience. Kris made sure I was taken care of, had everything I needed, and was genuinely invested in my experience as a customer even though I wasn't dining in. Because the staff takes such good care of their customers and the kitchen makes the most delicious food - you gotta try the briquettes - I'll continue to choose Bricks over and over.
Dave M.
Might be the best pizza in Salt Lake. Restaurant has a laid back vibe, and the service is excellent. If you haven't already, definitely check out Brick's Corner.
Rebecca Lewis
The manager Jami was amazing with a private birthday party reservation on the patio. She juggled drink orders with everyone moving tables and the food was fantastic.
Carly
Doesn't look special from the outside, but this place is a gem 😍 It's the best deep dish I've ever had in UT. You'll also find good vibes, kind employees, a respectable beer menu, plenty of TV's and a patio.
Katharine Marsh
This quickly climbed up to my favorite pizza place. I went to try their Polynesian Pie, and it is the best pizza I've ever had! I've only tried one other on the menu so far and it was also great, but I'm definitely hooked on the Polynesian.
It can be easy to miss because the sign is tucked a little far back from the side of the road. Drove past it hundreds of times and never noticed it was there. Not a lot of parking, so if you're close enough to walk there it would be a good option during a lunch or dinner rush. They do have dedicated parking for to go orders though!
Casey Londer
The pizza and ambiance here is perfect for a neighborhood joint. This type of place is exactly what the other hoods in SLC are missing, a true gastropub experience with elevated food and an actual bar. The pizza is killer for sure but I think the its the vibe really sets this joint apart.
Zach Sadoff
Great creativity and execution of Detroit style pizza. Definitely one of the best pizzerias in SLC!
Sarah Narkis
Service was great even though she was very busy and on her own, food was incredible and affordable
neil b
Best pizza in slc, my fav is the sausage king of Chicago. Great patio in the warmer months.
Ed Estrella
As a former NY style pizza fan, I was skeptical of trying deep dish for the first time. Boy was I in for a treat. Honestly, this place is magical. Definitely best pizza in SLC. Been here multiple times and don’t plan on stopping.
Eric Wood
Really good! Not your typical pizza. Unique and good. Great venue.
Steven Brewster
My new favorite pizza in SLC.
Laura Wolinsky
This place is a must-try! We started with the oven fired brussels sprouts and squash, which was absolutely delicious. For pizza, we got the Randazzo, which did not disappoint! Very crispy and flavorful, and more than enough for 2 people. Kris, our server, was hilarious and attentive. We will definitely be back!
EL paWLo
First time here food was amazing and our server Kris was awesome 👌 👏 👍🏽
Chris Jenkins
This place is amazing! Great Detroit style pizza, the crust was perfect crunchy on the edges, sausage and pepperoni were tasty, chicken was good. And the brick wedge salad was fresh and delicious. By far better than the pie.
Clint Jensen
Fantastic food at this place! Everything we tried was unique and superb, crack tots, salad with the best fococcia in town, and of course pizza like you have never tried before. The dutch apple cobbler served in a cast iron skillet was the perfect way to end our experience. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing, not sure if they are having issues with staffing or if their servers have too many tables. But multiple times our waiter forgot our appetizers, drinks, then when asked he was a little short in his reply and said I'm comping them right. It was a little off putting to be treated that way. We were In no way being Karen's just simply asking for our appetizers because our kids were starving. They multiple times dropped off the wrong food and drinks at our table. I still gi e them 5 stars though because the food is incredible and everyone has off days.
Christina H
Wow wow wow! Best pizza of my life! Salad was huge and delicious as well!
patrick sanders
Bricks Corner Pizza is exactly what I have been looking for. On a slammed Friday night, the staff was able to seat us quickly, and do so with great customer service. Food was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.
Christopher Manios
Excellent pizza and great staff. Owner came to the table personally which shows he cares about the success of his business and the opinions of his customers. Pizza was outstanding with incredible homemade focaccia crust. It’s a must if you are in the mood for a great pizza.
Lewis Yenna
I love this place and absolutely swear by their food. I live in the neighborhood and I write this review to warn you, if you park within 5 feet of mine or my neighbor’s driveway, I will call parking enforcement. It’s a $56 ticket and will easily double the cost of your meal. Again, this is no reflection of this wonderful establishment. This is a reflection of a neighbor who has to deal with such a fine place in their neighborhood. I don’t like to be the bad guy but people’s laziness and lack of common courtesy are horrendous and will be dealt with accordingly. Enjoy!

Out of all the pizza places that I've been to in the Salt Lake area, this place takes the cake. The food is nice and flavorful, and the pizza is pretty good! Since I've moved here from Chicago, this has been the best pizza place around. Would highly recommend if you want a pizza done right.
orhan agovic
Everyone has their preference with pizza but this place takes a thick loaf of bread and throws an absurd amount of ingredients on top and calls it pizza. Other food menu items are good and staff/atmosphere were great.
Alex DeSmet
Being from the Detroit area and having the original Detroit-style Pizza. Happy to say Brick's Corner represents the style well. The crust and sauce were particularly outstanding. Beer selection was good as well. Service was a little underwhelming but not enough of a detriment to take a way a star. Only other negative was a lack of parking. Can't wait to come back and try it again!
Steven Brown
Best pizza in all of SLC! Only downfall is parking, you need to find somewhere along the street to park.
Alisha Welter
Oh my goodness the apps and pizza were fantastic but the service was my favorite. Jolayne took care of us all night and was the best server I've had in a long time. If you go, ask for her!!! Also in sharebkes the brussel sprouts were lit!!!!
liss fryer
Service was great. Food was even better. Yum. We will be going back.
Jade Tran
Best pizzas in SLC!
Emily “Buckeeyy” Buckner
If you like trying different style pizzas or are familiar with Detroit style pizza you have to try this place. The food is excellent. I had the brussel sprout appetizer and it was perfectly crispy. The staff is very kind, respectful and attentive. I have ordered to go and now sat at the bar while waiting for a to-go order. Both experiences were perfect. And the bartender was super helpful with the menu and pleasant to chat with. Thanks.
Zoe Jorgenson
Thank you Jami!!
I have been to bricks many times, the food is top notch. I've always sat at the bar and my service is fast but today Jami was my server and let me tell you, she was AMAZING. She was working front of house alone, bartending, serving, bussing, and it was packed! The bar was full and so were the tables/booths. If you go, ask to be in her section and you'll get the best service.
Again thanks so much Jami see you soon!
Ken VanMoorhem
Nice place. Good drink selection. Food was really good got the Bricks Briquettes and fried mozzarella. Both were really good. Jill was friendly and spot on with service.
Jeffrey Riehl
We were very happy with the pizza! Outside is a little chilly with the wind blowing, but the great service and accommodating atmosphere made up for it. Thank you for taking care of some out of town Detroit natives.
Blair Lloyd
Everything we have had at Bricks is amazing! Crack tots are a must, Nom Nom Nom dessert is a 10 and all the pizzas are unreal… also, ask for Jill, she is awesome and a ton of fun!
Michelle English
We've gotten takeout from here a couple of times and it's been excellent! There are several wonderful pizzas that are vegetarian. The salads are delicious and not your average pizza-place sad salad. The Corner Margherita pizza is our favorite-- the combination of balsamic and tomato sauce is just out of this world!
CJ Jackson
Great beer selection, great food. Jami gave awesome service. Will definitely be back soon!
Anthony Zamora
Jami was very helpful and professional with my catering order of 50+ pizzas and salads. Great service!

Best Pizza in Utah!
I've had a lot of Pizza. I'm currently in the process of visiting a new pizza place in Utah every couple weeks and this one holds the record as my favorite. If you like Chicago (deep dish) style pizza, you should try this place! Service is good, the atmosphere is chill, and pizza is delicious. Parking is annoying, but this is SLC after all. You'll probably end up parking in front of someone's house. First time I went it was half an hour wait, so I recommend not going at 6pm on a Saturday unless you have some time to kill.
Jack Falkenrath
Best tots I’ve had. The pizza was good too.
Erin Gabriele
Great atmosphere. Really impressed with this “Detroit Style” dough. They have good menu items and awesome drink options. To the folks who thought the music was too loud, I don’t think it’s different from any other bar, sports pub or modern eatery considering the casual vibe. I’m pumped to have a cool place pop up in this neighborhood. Will definitely be going again.
Bob Moore
Great pizza. Detroit native and I was quite pleased. Looked a little small but after eating half of a pizza I was full.
Brian Baity
I went with some friends on an early Saturday evening. None of us had been here before. We did not have to wait to be seated. Our server was Jaromie. He did a great job helping us figure out what to order and the right amount for the four of us. We tried two different pizzas and shared amongst us. Both pizzas were very tasty. One of our party is not too fond of pizza as a general rule but she said she liked these pizzas real well and would like to return to try more. The environment was fun and the staff friendly. Service was exceptional. Looking forward to another visit
Mov Traveler
Love this place. Get the iceberg salad too, it’s perfect.
Elizabeth Kreib
Super great food service was sub par for how busy it was but definitely worth the wait with the good food will be back 😋 …
TJ Gies
The pizza is incredible. I am from Detroit and can say confidently this is the best Detroit-style pizza west of the Mississippi. Omar is the greatest server. Can’t say enough good about this spot. Such a blast.
M D
I actually did a lot of the construction work for this place and got to know the owner pretty well. Probably one of the nicest guys I've met. I was excited to try the food out so we took some friends on a Saturday night. I was totally impressed with the food and service. Delicious!
Andrew F
Really good! We picked up a sweet and salty pig pizza to go (pulled pork, bacon, caramelized onions, jalapenos). It was tasty and big enough to give us leftovers, which were also delicious! Excited to go back and try more of the menu.
Kevin Syyong
EDIT: I received a partial refund receipt via email tonight, roughly 24 hours after my original experience, which is understandable. I've changed my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. I'll give it another try some time. Hoping it'll be a good experience!
Ordered "The Roots" pizza and a small corner salad for takeout. When I got home and opened my food, the brussels sprouts were missing from the pizza, which is too bad because that's the part I was looking forward to the most. Also, the fry bread was not included with the salad. I called and made them aware of what happened, but said that I'd rather not drive back to pick up the missing parts of dinner. I was told that a manager would text me later that night to credit me, but no one ever reached out to me. The food itself was decent, despite the missing ingredients, although I do wish the root vegetables on the pizza were cooked a bit longer so they had less crunch. Anyway, wish it had worked out better and that I was issued some credit. I really did want to try them out again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Alaura Beck
The prices online show less expensive (by at least $1.50) so that should be updated but the food was great! Parking is kinda is bad, you need to find parking on neighborhood streets around the establishment. 4 stars instead of 5 cause our waiter, Omar, was off-putting. Wish we got someone without attitude 🤷♀️ …
Ashley Staats
The food was incredible and blew my mind away and the waiter Caleigh was very amazing and overall my fav restaurant of all time.
James Thompson
Very much liked our experience!!
Especially love an actual bar to enjoy a cocktail & food! Brock took excellent care of us and he's very personable! Pizza is wonderful and done in an imaginative take on pan style. Wedge salad is a must as are the tots!
Will most certainly be back.
Kris Lamb
This place is significantly better than any other pizza place in Utah. It is spot on as a legit Detroit pizza. 👌10/10 the entire Michigan family said it's as good as their gold standard pizza place back home. The dough is vegan, the red sauce is vegan, they have vegan cheese, and many veggie toppings. We are never going anywhere else for pizza again. It was well worth the wait.
Techraan
When you read a review from someone that talks as though they know something about pizza and then they go one to say Detroit-style pizza isn't real pizza,
IGNORE THEM!
It's delicious!
Detroit-style pizza is descended from an old Sicilian recipe and - I'll let you Google the rest.
The take away here is, you can't take advice about pizza from someone who was raised on Little Cesar's Hot 'n Ready.
Robert Farrell
Fantastic new restaurant! We recently enjoyed our first take out experience, and will be back. We started with the Brick House and a Sweet Salty Pig. Both were excellent. Be advised, we had read these were personal sized pizzas, so my wife and I each ordered one. They are quite large and filling with the thick crust. Looking forward to dining in, with drinks and loud music post-COVID!
Alex Pomper
Just a super reliable spot for good food and good vibes, everytime.
Hayli Dickey
This place is incredible!! We have eaten here a few times and each time the quality is superb! The brussel sprouts appetizer is delicious and our favorite pizza is the sweet and salty pig, masterful flavors!!
Daniel Terry
Amazing pizza...soooo expensive for size but still soooo good.
Emily Warburton
Love the look of the place, great food and beer selection. Love that it's family friendly and staff is excellent. Shout to Omar and his warm welcomes and happy demeanor, as well as his cool hair and tats. Keeping it real!
alek
First time, environment is cool. Food was tasty and a lot. Service was okay, seemed like they need more help or just don’t care. It is pricey. But I knew it would be going in. Would try again.
Paige James
I’ve been here several times now as it’s right around the corner from my house. And don’t get me wrong, the pizza is bomb. BUT the service is continually awful. There’s no prioritizing customers, no water refills without asking a couple times. Very slow to get service after your first seated and then an additional 30 mins to get the check. The restaurant has about 8 customers total. This is the experience every time! Quite frustrating for a place that has decent food.
David Salcido
Amazing crust! The Sausage King of Chicago was perfect! The sausage was super flavorful and the sauce was extraordinary! I'd come back for more!
Alexus Lovato
The food is absolutely amazing! Fills you up! 10/10 recommend the Italian beef dip pizza! Even more important though the staff here is incredible! 🧡 amazing genuine people! They made our day! 🧡 …
Jen Watterson
Great food! Must try
Antonio Simiele
Kris was amazing and went out of her way to accommodate us after we showed up 5 minutes before close. Bricks is the best pizza in Utah hands down and I’ll die on that hill.
Maddie Gomar
This place is seriously the best pizza in SLC!
Todd Pearce
Really cool place. Right on the corner of 7th East and Roosevelt Ave there’s not much parking so it all on the street. Great vibe. Have never been huge on thick crust pizzas but the crust here is light (not dense) and has a really flavorful edge. Highly recommended.
beck wolf
Amazing atmosphere looking forward to more dinners food was comforting ♡
Cory Joseph
Hands down, not only the best pizza in SLC, but the best execution of any restaurant in the entire state. We will definitely be back.
Marguerite B
Dorian was our server and boy oh boy was he put through the paces. He finessed a table with 12 women like a pro. The food was amazing and the kitchen ran like a well oiled machine.
I have been a chef for 40 yrs and have NEVER seen such a clean kitchen, it was a beautiful sight.
Sandra Workman
Kris was fantastic. Took her recommendation and it was sooo good!! Great pizza, best mozzarella sticks EVER!! Love this place!
J. Austin Russell
JOLANE. That one word is what made our entire experience. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the pizza is undeniably the best in the city. And the sides are top notch. But Jolane, our server for the night, was beautiful, capable, friendly, fun, and kind. She deserves a raise. Actually, she deserves to run the place.
Actually, she’s probably too good for the place. But, lucky for us (and everyone else fortunate enough to have her), she hasn’t yet figured that out. Five stars for Brick Corner. Six for Jolane.
Andrew Fleishman
I'm afraid to tell you all how good this place is as I am worried that the place will get bombarded with people! Seriously, so good! I am comfortable saying it's the best pizza I've ever had.
Duke Speer
Excellent source of Detroit style deep dish pizza. One of few restaurants that has pre-sauteed ingredients for more complex flavors such as house made sausage, carmelized onions, and sauteed mushrooms. Steel pans create a flavorful crunchy crust. Creatively flavored tots are a plus. Ambiance is great for eating in - a nice blend of cozy comfortable neighborhood bar and sports bar. We had one poor food experience yesterday with the 'Afgoo' where the 'hot straight from the oven' pizza had near refrigerator temperature ricotta and carmelized onions in it. While the topping cheese was melted and the crust was well toasted, I suggest the chef use their temperature probe to check internal doneness of thick and cold ingredients. All our other experiences have been five star.
Kara McDonald
Got the gluten free margarita pizza. It was killer. The gluten free crust is a sausage crust would highly recommend if you are gluten free.
Jody Alvarez
This is not NY style pizza. I’m hesitant to say better than NY style, because it’s so vastly different. We love this neighborhood joint and have had everything on the menu at least once. We bring family and direct our Airbnb guests here. Great place.
Jake Kimball
Just walked into this place out of random with my friends and was extremely impressed. I don’t know of anywhere else you can find this great of pizza in Utah. On top of the food, I was so happy to have had Omar as our server. He is the funniest and most welcoming server I’ve ever met.
Patrick Wheeler
Detroit style pizza with a crispy crust. Everyone in the party of eight ended up enjoying their pizza and the Dutch apple dessert was a big hit.
Roland Lee
Fresh toppings on the pizzas that explode in your mouth (maybe a little far off the deep end), still, I haven't had a pizza this tasty and fresh in a long time.
We had the squash and brussels also, just as fresh as the the pizza toppings.
And this place will not break the bank.
Megan Howell
Best Pizza I’ve had in a long long time! If you like deep dish this is to die for! The toppings and ingredients are fresh with fantastic flavor! Place has a way cool vibe as well! Highly recommended!
Ric Flack
The pizza is unique and delicious. The salads are huge and great for sharing. We love the appetizers as well we definitely continue to go back. We have also had great servers every time we visited.
Allthepizza Inmybelly
Detroit style pizza is my favorite, and this place is a solid 'great'. Don't be dismayed when you see how small the box is. Once you hold it you will know what you are dealing with. Crunchy cheese edges ftw. It's a great spot to eat and hang out by if you're not getting it to go.
Ian Fletcher
Best place I've been to in a long time! Clean, simple ingredients combined to make really good food, and an atmosphere to match, no douchy over-the-top decor here. Decent beer and cocktail selection as well. We'll definitely be back!
Scott Stillman
I did an online order for 12:15 pick-up @ 8 am this morning. It's nice to order online and have preset times, not having to worry about placing the order when busy. I live in the neighborhood and walked for the pick-up, which was HOT and ready to go. We ordered and Brick House and were
amazed at the quality of the Pizza. Super crust that is very different than normal pizza, fantastic toppings. For the price this would make a great date night with a bottle of wine, and not break the bank. We will order a bit more when wanting a SPECIAL pizza meal, from our new Neighbors.
Barleyman
Jon Solomon
This place us known for pizza, we had dessert. Service was great, menu had a good assortment of options all with a twist. Nice selection of beer and outdoor seating!
Alex Mettler
Great place for trivia and good beer! Pizza is fantastic and best Detroit-style I’ve had outside of SE Michigan! Excellent service too!
Jordan Poole
This place turned a less than stellar weekend into a great one! I can’t believe it took us 8 months after moving from Chicago to find this spot just down the road. GREAT Detroit style pizza, sauces, and the mozz sticks were top notch. Really enjoyed the wedge too!! Can’t wait to come back.
Amanda Wagner
All the food is wonderful but the pizza is absolutely delicious! Every time I eat here I’m so impressed with the ingredients and flavors. The chef who created this menu is amazing!
Matt Larsen
I have driven past this place a million times and have always meant to come here. I finally went tonight and was very surprised at how good this place was. Really good Detroit style pizza and good service.
Eric Judd
Only pizza like it in SLC. Innovative fusion of tastes and it doesn’t sit heavy afterwards like Chicago deep dish can. There’s something magical about the dough - light and fluffy yet packed with flavor. Menu was well rounded with something for everyone. Homemade sausage was awesome. And The Root pizza blew my mind - a bold combination of veggies bursting with flavor.
Chelsey Gatenby
The food here is great. Thick, juicy, hearty, deep dish pizza. Lots of beer on draft. But honestly that’s not the best part. Omar is out here slayin’. He is so personable and mega chill. We come for the pizza but order a second round to hang with Omar. Do yourself a favor and request his table.
Matthew Jensen
Pizza was amazing. Love the deep dish. Presentation also was killer. Service was fast and really friendly. The interior is really really well done to get some pie and a beer. Great addition to the Neighborhood! Will be back very soon.
Heather Guymon
~$150 for four people with plenty of leftovers and 2 drinks a person. Very good friendly educated service, good quality food, good beer choice, good pizza/apps, good salad. Really fantastic overall.
Emily Johnson
So good. We went around 5 in Valentines and it was getting busy. Service was kind, but nothing special. The food is why you come here. So good. We had the Sausage King 👑 of Chicago and the Sweet Salty Pig. They were both great, but we preferred the Sausage King. We also ordered the cheese sticks. So good. …
Kristy Keaton
The pan fried pizza with it's cheesy crunch on the corner is delish! I would recommend for sure. My only issue is with their take out container for their beef stock au jus. I was referred this restaurant and excited for it's unique culinary creations from back east, so I drove quite a distance for take out. However, the au jus container was not sealed or properly wrapped. Beef stock spilled all over the pizza box and the floor of my car. I attempted to quickly rescue it before the mess, unfortunately, I was only left a few drops. I've scrubbed and scrubbed, and my car still smells like lunch. I felt like a little kid with half of their freshly scooped ice cream cone falling on ground. Good luck and enjoy :)
Roman Flores
You won't be disappointed here 🍕👍👍 had the sausage king of Chicago pizza with fried rosemary pickles and mushrooms as an appetizer. Everything was so good.😊 …
Roque Salas
The place is amazing. Love the decor. The pizzas are incredible. Staff is very friendly. It got so busy they fell behind and getting the food took a bit of time. But it was worth the wait.
Steve Moreno
Now this is a way cool spot.
The vibe is chillax, they got a bar, and I tried the Chicago style deep dish loaded with sausage. Very very impressed. My waitress jaimi was beyond AMAZING!!! Very attentive, respectful. And was above and beyond.. a great asset to this place. 👏 I highly recommend this place for pizza. A date. Whether with friends or getting to know someone. Definately 5 🌟🤩
Jen Brill
This pizza is insanely good. And probably my new go to spot for many reasons.
1. It gives you everything you want out of pizza but you’re not uncomfortably full from it. Which is deceiving based on the thickness of the crust.
2. The crust. The crust. The crust. This bread is so good, not heavy or “dense” like deep dish and the flavor is on point AAAND...the corner pieces are magical
3. There’s a solid ratio of toppings to cheese but not so much cheese that you’re going to have issues. Seriously, this is the only pizza that doesn’t make you feel like you kinda want to curl into fetal position after. Perfect amount of cheese.
We always order the classic brick house and you kinda have to get it. It’s amazing. Think of it as your “everything” style pizza.
We also got the sweet and salty pig which is really good and tastes exactly how it sounds. Imagine a bbq sandwich but the bread is better.
Cracked tots are good but not great for carry out. I’d imagine they’re a lot better in house fresh out of the kitchen.
l3ulldozer
Pizza is amazing, nowhere to park and the service is hit or miss.
Megan Carlisle
If you want Detroit-style pizza (trust me, you do), this is the place! Crispy, caramelized edges, super fresh toppings and so soft in the middle. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
A10spro1ab
It's not SF "Little Star Pizza" but #1 for SLC.
Marlaine Metcalf
OMG so great Great Pizza EXCELLENT MARVELOUS burgers … excellent drinks wonderful friendly environment Joylane we love you !!!!!!!! Thank you for telling us this was the place to eat!!!!!! Joylane and Nick are the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you well worth the visit……
Pizza Face
Detroit style pizza is quite famous if you happen to be from the Tri-County region of Michigan. I am not. You probably are not. I can't rate this pizza on authenticity (I have no idea how a Detroit style pizza should taste). But I can give my semi-professional opinion.
First, it tastes good! The sauce was perfectly done and simple. Just good crushed tomatoes and maybe a touch of salt and seasoning. No added sugar or excessive herbs; just clean, good tomato flavor. Putting the sauce on top of the cheese reminded me of a Trenton Tomato Pie. It evaporates some of the water, concentrates the flavor, and keeps the crust from getting soggy. A technique that should be used more often!
Second, the cheese. Basic salty cheese flavor used with a very heavy hand. Although most people are in it for the cheese, I prefer a bit of restraint. The saving grace was the incredibly crispy/burnt cheese around the edges. Ok, that's good stuff.
Third, the dough. This was a surprise. I was expecting a soft focaccia-like dough but instead was treated with a dense, chewy and bread-like dough. I like that there was no oil or butter either, which has been know to find it's way into breadier doughs.
This was a hearty pizza. Way better than a Chicago style, not quite a Sicilian slice; truly it's own thing. I don't know how it compares to authentic Detroit pizza, but I think it's a good pizza on it's own. Be warned; it's super filling and you'll probably order more than you bargained for.
David Ostler
Lovely ambiance. Those pizzas are DENSE. I don't want to do a disservice to the restaurant, but you can easily share one pizza between 2-3 people. I got one for myself and had leftovers for 2 days.
Isaac Doherty
Deep dish in Salt Lake. This pizza is amazing and they have tons of unique options. They just opened through Covid so my very real concern is that they won’t get their feet under them fast enough and I won’t be able to keep eating here! So don’t let that happen, try them out.
Eryka Jones
We had a big party for my birthday and our server was amazing! 15 of us and she handled us all by herself. Food was amazing! The atmosphere was great as well. Will definitely be going back!
Mercedes Milando
While visiting SLC , we stumbled upon this bar , & I have to say the morale of the bar is amazing . Such great service from the bartender , Broc . Great attitude / personality . Always checked in on us & gave us our drinks in a quick timely manner . Recommended we try the “bored outlaw” & we absolutely loved it ! Will visit again next time we stay in SLC !
Erin Drum
We haven't eaten here in person due to COVID, but we have taken out their pizza and WOW. We can't stop raving about it and telling all our friends to try. Their takeout time on weekend evenings is quite long so plan ahead if you're hungry on a weekend evening, but it's worth it. Such a great addition to the neighborhood.
Chelsea B
This place is incredible! The music is amazing, the pizza is phenomenal, and our waitress was so kind! We got the Margherita pizza and absolutely loved it. Would totally recommend and will absolutely be back!
Riley
Ordered a couple pizzas to go. I wanted to give them a try. I ordered a OG cheese, Rando, and the Brick House. My Rando had about 10 pepperoni on top and mostly sauced bread, not double layers of pep. The Brick House pizza was piled high with toppings, too much. Consistency is bad. Also look up the owner’s response to people complaining about the music...very strange response for a complaint. Don’t get a cheese or pepperoni if you go.
Pete Lasko
Amazing Detroit style pizza. Great service.
Ronnie Chinchilla
It ain’t easy being cheesy… seriously tasty stuff
Wendy Bowman
Stopped by this place today and got the lunch special, which is humongous! Huge salad and pizza. Enough for 2 meals. The pizza was amazing and the salad was extremely fresh. Highly recommend!
Shalet S
Amazing pizza, root beer, and most importantly stellar service from Omar.
Highly suggest coming here. Kitchen was fast and everything we ordered was superb.
Em
I’m a gluten-free vegetarian, so unfortunately the “gluten free” option of a sausage based dish wasn’t going to work for me.
However, Brick’s was a great environment to hang out with friends.. just be advised if you are celiac.
Definitely hoping to see some gluten-free options that aren’t meat-based in the future.
Ryanne Crosby
Delicious pizza, awesome environment and wonderful people! We can't stop coming here. The Caesar Salad is particularly good, as well as the Brussel Sprouts and Squash appetizer.
Logan Whitmore
Parking lot is really small but plenty of parking on the street north of the restaurant. Asthetic is great and crew was real friendly. We got pizza and tots and they were delicious. They have a bar and a selection of local beers.
Derek Beemer
Walked in at 6pm on a Saturday and there were 5 or 6 open tables. But I was told there was a wait, "because the kitchen was behind" - which is inexplicable to me on many levels. How were they not prepared for a SATURDAY evening? How could they already be THAT far behind at 6pm?? And lastly, it's just unbelievably bad customer service to make customers stand and wait when there are open tables - it's customer service 101: seat your customers, offer a free drink or some chips and kindly explain the delay. Refusing to seat customers makes for a horrible experience, and it isn't going to help the kitchen catch up.
John Ivester
By now I’m sure you’ve heard that this place has really really ridiculously good tasting Detroit style pizza. Don’t know what that means? Well, you’ll just have to go and try it cause it cannot be described with anything other than grunts of satisfaction.
Rebecca Powell
Pizza was AMAZING and Kris was super cool and gave us great info about the background of the dough! We’ll be back!!!
Rob Media
Good food drinks and service but they need help with the music. They play weird country nonstop. Please you sell "detroit style" pizza. turn off the country and play something more "detroit style".
Stephen
This place is fire and so are Jami and Kris. Very helpful and lovely people. I have nothing at all bad to say about this place.
Max Stolfe
Really good pizza. I’m coming from Jersey and this spot was recommended as the best NY pizza in SLC. I can see why, it’s very good. Tydo was great, served all of us really well (15+ table). Thanks Tydo and YPSLC!
J W
Wow the pizza was fabulous! I had the Brick pizza.
Larry Christensen
Really good Detroit style pizza. Fluffy crust nice and crispy on the outside. Loved the Sweet Salty Pig pizza, a barbecue pizza, but not overly sweet like most.
kaitlin black
Food was really good, service was great.
First time there and the owner came up to our table and gave us a free Cookie w/Ice cream. Drinks were good. The environment was great, highly recommend.
Annie Collins
90s alternative, Omar and easily the best Caesar Salad I’ve ever had! I love this spot. Great service and delicious food. One of my fav dinner spots in town.
Jackson Viscomi
Great neighborhood bar/pizza restaurant. If you haven’t checked out Detroit style, I would swing by. Just wish they would stay open a little bit later.
Josh Zannoni
Unique and delicious pizza. The bread of the pizza is thick and crunchy and loaded with toppings and the fried cheese is delicious. Also had some pretty bomb blue cheese.
Jordan Ray
Didn’t even know this place existed! Incredibly fresh ingredients and amazing pizza. Omar was the friendliest and most welcoming server I have ever met. I would give 10 stars if I could
James Crocker
First visit was all it took. I am hooked. You want good Detroit style pizza? This is the place.
sherri hansen
This place is awesome. The mozzarella sticks are some of best. I've been here twice and the food has been amazing! The service is some of the best around. If you haven't been here you need to!!
Debbie Webster
Delicious and interesting pizza. Really good coffee and a good choice of beer. I'm also impressed with the rock star paintings.
Andrew Steinbrecher
Everything from apps to pizza to dessert was amazing. Beer, wine, and cocktails too. This is basically the only option in SLC for Detroit style pizza, at least that I have seen, and luckily it was too notch.
Austin Shong
Super good pizza. The crust was perfect! Our waiter Omar was great too.
Mandie Stephen
This restaurant is fantastic! Our server was fantastic and very patient with us coming in right before close. The pizza was soooo good. Definitely will go back!
Derek Thomson
Enjoyed the Brick House. Easily enough for two people. Omar was an excellent server and kept the drinks flowing.
Tim Lyman
Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was very peaceful
Matt McKinney
Awesome pizza, both dine-in and take out experiences were great. Friendly staff, my new favorite pizza place in town.
Geri Henich
This place has the best wedge salad in the state! And their pizza is pretty amazing too!!
Kevin Quinn
The food is wonderful! Service is sub par at best. Have ordered to-go three times now and it has been quite the let down each time. The most recent time I stood at the to-go register for at least ten minutes before either of the two workers even acknowledged I was there.
Brock Keddington
Must try! We had a couple of pizzas and the cracked tots which were great but the sweet salty pig pizza was awesome! Totally different from any other pizza around- in a good way!
Deanne Boertje
This pizza is insanely delicious, so are the mozzarella cheese sticks. Love everything I've ever had there!
Omar Abusamrah
First let me start by saying INCREDIBLE!
Had to check out this place I always pass it with the fire pit outside and finally went in and it changed the way I crave pizza!
