Reviews of Den Den Café Asiana
I go to Den Den’s fried chicken place more often but wanted to try out this one for a while. Finally made my way here and loved it so so much!! I tried their Hot Stone Bibimbap with Korean beef and added an egg and it was so delicious 🤤
You order at a counter which I didn’t expect but, as a college student, it makes it easy to go here with friends and pay for your own food. Service was easy, fairly quick and the food came out hot!
I’m excited to go back and try everything else on the menu!!
Really cute place to eat some nice Korean food. Staff is kind and food comes out quick and the food was flavorful and fresh. The servings are very large. Monkey balls were awesome. I want more of them in my mouth.
One of the best Korean restaurants In MA.
Tokkbokki (rice cake) must try and add cheese. Hot stone bimbimbap is so filling(remember to add a choice of meat!) I haven't see twister potato in so long and they nailed it! Will definitely come again.
The place was super cute, staff was very friendly and food was good! Atmosphere was family friendly and also a great place for a date night with your partner. Wish I knew ahead of time that we could make reservations because we had to wait about 45 min for a table but besides that it was a good experience. This is not a place you get waited on. Your order your food with the cashier, sit at your table (or wait for your food if it’s take out) and they bring your food out to you. We will be coming again :)
Was in Providence and craving good Korean food. A lot of places weren’t open at the time that I was looking at , but luckily Den Den was. It’s location is obviously very picturesque. Parking was a bit difficult but we managed.
Ordering took a while because I just couldn’t decide on what to order! One menu item that surprised me where the fried mushrooms appetizer, it was absolutely delicious. Our other two entrées were equally flavorful.
If I’m ever in the Providence area again, I would definitely consider eating here again .
Just waoo! The Food is delicious. For me an A+, they serve a generous portion and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I don't give the 5 stars because I didn't like their ordering style. After you are seated, you have to order and pay at the register and it can be uncomfortable when the place is packed and busy, but besides that great place.
Literally amazing. Portions are generous, chicken is crispy and salad is perfect. The price is really worth it. Interior is a cafeteria/restaurant vibe. There is wifi and Parking. Would come back.
Went here for lunch on a Sunday after RISD museum. It was busy but there were several available tables with no wait. It is a self seating restaurant, take a menu and order at the counter. The counter server was very nice and considerate as we are not familiar with Korean food, she could tell and gave us some helpful suggestions which we appreciated. I got the bibimbap, I have never had it before so I don’t know how it compares but I loved it. So fresh and flavorful. Generous portions and fair prices. If this place was in my town I would go there all the time.
Since they opened, this place has been my favorite Korean eatery in PVD.
The staff was outstanding, being both friendly and attentive.
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
It has, in my perspective, changed recently.
All of the staff members were replaced, and while this is unimpressive, it doesn't imply that they are bad or malicious; they are simply not the same as previously.
The quality of the food has decreased.
The Korean ramen I ordered was way too watery. Also soft tofu. They over-watered the ramen and jjigea.
Tonkatsu was ok, but that doesn't mean it was excellent. I'm sincerely sorry to see that the restaurant is losing its distinctive good quality.
I don't know if the chef is korean. But the bulgogi bibimbab and pa jeon(pan cakes) were terrific!!! Other korean restaurant use gichujang for bibimbap. But here they use yuzu with soy bean sauce, so it's not spicy at all. I totally recommend this restaurant for everyone who wants to try korean food and other asian food as well.
SO F**g GOOD!!
It was worth the wait (wasn’t a long wait either we were just really hungry lol)
I got the pork Donburi, we split the pork fried rice, and my husband had the spicy chicken bbq. It was all so mouthwatering delicious that we ate a lot of everything. The portion sizes were great, food was great, atmosphere was great. Perfect date night/meet up spot. 10/10 recommended. DON’T WAIT TO TRY IT
Den Den = YUM YUM!!! Our best meal of our Providence trip!! We had the Gyoza, fried rice & fried egg and the Fish Katsu. So delicious and the staff was so friendly!!!
Lovely staff and very cute place! Food was great taste and came quickly! Ordered squid and pork belly bbq and tuna bento bowl. Amazing!
Lovely vibes and wonderful service, not to mention great food with large portions. Would definitely go back. Loved the Japchae and matcha latte!
Cute place for some quick korean food. Cheese ddukbokki was really nice flavour but could really be spicier. The torched cheese on top was the best part
Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by very friendly and inviting employees. First impressions were great. We were told to take a seat at a table anywhere we desired and then we could come up to the counter to order. Our server was attentive and refilled our water which was appreciated.
My dining companion ordered Agedashi tofu, and they said that it was spot on from the tofu, flakes to the broth which were all very complimentary.
Thinking that It would make sense to order the dish deemed signature of an establishment on the menu for a first time visit I ordered the pork Tonkatsu, unfortunately I was not as lucky as my companion.
White Miso Soup: A celebratory richer soup which is common when getting Miso soup out at restaurants this was right on, the wakame was the perfect texture and flavor, a great addition to the salted just right soup, the tofu lush adding a nice texture and taste contrast.
White Rice: The rice was pretty standard perhaps a bit less than ideal in terms of temperature and texture.
Side Salad: While the side salad was dressed well and sufficient as a side it was far from what is traditionally served with Tonkatsu which is normally composed of a cabbage salad and to my understanding a different dressing rather than what was received. Perfectly fine otherwise, even if i believe the traditional would have suited the dish better.
Tonkatsu Sauce: The Tonkatsu sauce was composed well and tasted the way it was supposed too with strong complimentary flavors.
Tonkatsu: This is where I was the most disappointed. The pork Tonkatsu itself was a bit overdone, no where to be found was the rich fatty succulent meat which you hope for in a Tonkatsu, while it wasn't inedible the fact that it was bland and somewhat dry really took away from the experience, even with the addition of the delicious sauce this dish could not be saved from mediocrity.
While the service was great and it's clear some of the dishes on the menu are much better than others the lack of consistency across the menu and the lack of traditional additions on certain items which really does enhance the experience keeps this establishment at an average 3. If you do decide to go there, based on my experience I'd suggest ordering something other than the Tonkatsu I am not likely to return for awhile and if I do It'll definitely be for something else.
My friends like it a lot. I am not a big fan of Korean food, but I think this one is the best Korean food I have tried in pvd. Tried katsu last time, but not crispy when I ate it. So I would not recommend katsu, but the tofu soup and stone pot are recommended.
The food is delicious and flavorful, the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. There are many delicious Gluten Free options. Would absolutely come back!
Second time visiting and it was very nice to eat in. First time I ordered takeout and it was quite nice. The Japanese dumplings are to die for! Small place, but very lively. The service is great and although a little pricey it's surely worth it.
The food here is absolutely delicious! I recommend the tankatsu, but honestly everything I tried was so good. There isn't really "service", you get a menu and go to the front desk and that's where you order and pay for everything first. Then you get you meal. I personally didn't mind the lack of service because to food made it all worth it.
We've eaten at both locations and both are worth visiting-- different menus with a bit of overlap. Angell Street has a veggie fried dumpling option that's raised to a "5" because of the generous portion of spicy Asian slaw.
Benefit Street has super friendly staff, a few specials in addition to the regular menu including an Asian-style spinach salad with a sesame dressing.
The food is very good and the place has a relaxed vibe. Despite how busy and buzzing it was at 7/8 pm on a weekday, the manager there, Jasmine, provided excellent service. It was my first time there and she explained the lay of the land. She worked really hard - getting orders in, cleaning, whatever was needed she got it done and she had a sixth sense of what customers needed. She is a gem!
Very good food and wine. Friendly staff, quick service
Heard good stuff from my friends. They preferred this one for Sushi and the one in East Providence for the chicken. I did a Kimbap as a appetizer, and one of their Japanese entree Den Den Tonkatsu. I actually enjoyed their sea food, note, not a seafood person. Their fried dish was yummy… really really liked the sauce om that salad and the dip (red and white colors). So worth going, its a cafe amd it serves alcohol, amd such a nice rustic vibe (wooden mix with brick decor).
I have always wanted to try bibimbap so when I arrived in Providence for the first time I took advantage of the opportunity and got some next to Brown's campus. Street parking was easy enough to find. The food was delicious and the space was really cool. Great atmosphere and the service was equally good. You have to order at the counter but can seat yourself. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again.
Nelly is by far the most polite, and professional restaurant employee I've ever come across. she always has such a great bubbly attitude that makes you feel welcome and that your needs in terms of service will be met quickly, efficiently, and with a smiling face. Most restaurants seem to have lost that. Not Den Den, keep up the amazing friendly professional vibe that makes you guys so great, and the food even better!
Amazing fresh food!! This seems to be our go to place for birthday dinners. Food tonight was amazing as always and the staff that work there are incredibly nice! Can't wait to go back.
Fantastic food, great service. Went at a busy time but still got a seat and food came out quick. Will definitely go again.
Update- Den Den always amazes me. It's hard to order anything other than the bibimbap because it's soooo good, but the entire menu is awesome!
Always solid. The pork belly and squid bbq is my favorite.
Excellent food and service. This is a great recommendation for the College Hill area. They also make espresso and coffee drinks here which is convenient! Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed this place, order and pay in advance at the counter then sit down. The woman at the counter was very nice and friendly and there was great service in the restaurant. The food was very quick and the presentation and taste was great for a quick lunch if you’re in the area. It’s definitely a favorite in the neighborhood as the place is always full and a favorite among the brown students.
A chic industrial vibe surrounds you once you walk in. The service is also very friendly. You are acknowledged right away as you walk in.
The food is really good. We had the tuna salad kimbap and seafood scallion pancake for appetizers. The kimbap was really good and tasted fresh. The seafood pancake was a bit of a letdown. Light on the seafood and smaller in portion than other Korean eateries. We ordered a large. I would hate to see the small! Entree-wise, we had the spicy chicken and tofu stew. Both were good as well.
We saw other tables getting some really tasting looking dishes and can't help want to to try those as well. Maybe next time.
I didn't have time to take pictures (sorry) because I was so hungry 🤤. I liked the staff member who attended to us who was all smiles. The food didn't disappoint either and was thankful for the vegan options they had available. I will be going back!
Edit: I went back as promised and I managed to take a picture of my main dish, but the kimbap wasn't so lucky 🤭. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Second times visit here and tried. First time Gyudon and BBQ short rib . Short rib taste good but I don’t think reasonable price. TGyudon was ok. Order system is weird cause we have go and order at counter by ourselves but give us receipt include the tip spot. We got the confused about do we have to pay the tip or not. Ofc we paid even they just do delivery food from Kitchen that’s it but I don’t think you have to pay tip if in NewYork like this system. Second time tried spicy pork belly and Donburi. Tbh spicy pork belly? Pork from where ? Almost Fat and it was not pork feels like. Soft rock?
Donburi was fine. They have a lot of menu so can’t say good or not so my opinion is 3 ⭐️
This is a pretty solid korean/japanese spot in Providence, but coming from NY, I've had better of course, so my expectations for korean and japanese food are a little higher. I gave this place 4 stars, because it is an establishment in Providence and I think they do very well for this area, but I would not give that if they were in NY.
Main course:
Beef Japchae: decent, but I've definitely had better. I feel like I could've cooked this japchae myself. The truly disappointing thing is that the beef in the japchae was horrible. It was SO tough and dry. My friend who go the hot stone bibimbap with beef had the same issue. It was tough to chew. The noodles itself is fine, but I feel like it was just drowned in some sauce and was slightly overcooked. This dish also comes with rice, which is strange, but not complaining.
Spicy Pork and Squid:
Now this dish is what made me raise this 3 star place to 4 stars. This was the best dish of the night. It was cooked VERY well with the spicy sauce. The squid pieces could've been a little larger, but it's okay. Pork belly melted in your mouth. You are going to need a lot of rice with this dish though. Thankfully, we had a bowl of rice that came with the japchae to help us out.
Appetizers:
Den Den monkey balls: they were very good and unique - it had spicy tuna and mushroom in them and fried on the outside.
Seafood pancake - I've had better for sure and larger amount. It should be out on a big pan and crispy filled with seafood. But this wasn't bad either. The sauce was good on the side and it was still a decent pancake.
Overall, this is a solid spot and if I lived in Providence, this would be one of my go to spots for asian food.
We were able to get table quickly.
The food was amazing, even the appetizers had our taste buds dancing. The staff was super friendly, monitored if we needed drinks and 3 people bid us a fair well. Great place, good service, casual attire and food is phenominal!
Outstanding! This is one of the only restaurants that I can play "menu roulette" and never go wrong. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. This one, the one off Benefit has a nice casual cafe appeal to it whereas the other one near Thayer is much louder and cafeteria like.
It is a busy place but I have to give only 3 stars because the food is not as good as I expect. It does not have enough Korean taste on my dish. I ordered squid and pork belly stir fried and it came out with a lot of chunk fat and onion. The place is small and I dont have enough space to put my winter jacket. I really like the design of the restaurant, the tuna kimbap but I dont think I will come back because of the taste of the entrees.
Absolutely amazing food! Everything we ordered tasted outstanding and we will be returning asap! The staff was professional and friendly as well!
A nice vibe to the place complementing pretty good Korean food. No you won't find hardcore Korean dishes here but then again, this is more of a casual bar that also happens to serve good bibimbaps.
They opened a new wing next door that showcases a quieter seating area. While their parking lot is small, lots of street parking available in the area. Good service. Reasonably priced.
Probably one of the best Korean restaurants I have been to. Food is amazing and prices are reasonable. Customer service could be a bit better, If I'm Providence you will find me here. The food and price are definitely worth it.
My favorite place to eat in Providence. It's quite the drive but completely worth it in my opinion. It's trendy and has amazing Korean and Japanese dishes. I have had their Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet), eel rice bowl, and twister potatoes. I would have them all again! Give it a shot!
So good! I don't remember what I got but the food was Authentic. It's kind of cafeteria style where you go order up front and sit down. You don't have a waiter. Seating was limited at 1pm on a Sat so come early, there was a 10-20 minute wait. Difficult to enter with a stroller or wheelchair as there is a step up to get through the front door.
food was VERY good. located in a beautiful part of town with very charming and welcoming staff. would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Providence/ Federal Hill.
Den Den Café offers some of the most popular Korean and Japanese dishes. A heaven for BBQ lovers!
I was very impressed with their menu variety of Japanese and Korean dishes. I want to come back and try everything.
I ordered the pork Katsu donburi (rice bowl). Loved it! I also tried my friend's spicy Korean BBQ pork, which was delicious.
Even though you order at the register, you still have servers refill your water giving you the feeling of a full service restaurant. Would recommend for lunch or dinner.
Thank you so much for a great experience. The food and service is great!! Hope to come back soon.
The foods are great! This is the best foods I have had in Rhode Island so far. All employees wear masks that it’s good for customers 👍 …
The food was phenomenal and completely unexpected. We got the edamame, squid & pork belly, and the den den hot stone bibumbap. If you are hungry this definitely the place to go as the portions are huge. My fiancé and I would've been more than satisfied with just one entree to share.
Love this place. Authentic cuisine in a hip dining room with really reasonable prices. Often a wait to get in but definitely worth it. The monkey balls are my favorite!
Staffs were friendly, service was quick. Place was nice and clean. Food was fresh. Tonkatsu is highly recommended, especially the salad that came with it! Seafood udon was a bit salty for me but came in a generous portion. 😋
Really crispy chicken, and some great sauces. Very different, but really delicious. We did to go, and it was so fresh when we got home.
The food here is always tasty. The owners are committed to quality. A great place to bring family or friends from out of town. No online ordering, which is fine, just give them a call! My gf swears by the beef spare ribs.
Love visiting Den Den Cafe Whenever I am in Providence, RI. The food is always delicious and fresh and it’s just a no fuss destination to enjoy some great Korean cuisine. Our fav is the Monkey balls, Gyoza and my personal fav Spicy pork bibimbap wow!
Great authentic food. Cool atmosphere, with a rustic/busy noisy ambiance. We will eat definitely be back.
Astonishingly tasty food served elegantly in wonderful ambience. Will eat there again.
Pork and squid bbq with slow cooked pork belly
The best Asian restaurant in RI! I love the vibe and the location, right in the heart of Eastside Providence! The food was delicious, prices are reasonable, and the service is great too! I always get chicken yakisoba at this place but the menu is quite good overall with japanese and korean dishes! The best thing about this place is the staff, they are very nice!
Do like my review if you find it useful!
Gem. The Unaju (eel-based dish) and seafood scallion pancakes hit different.
Awesome food. Great selection. Good service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
I thought the food was excellent and the staff are very friendly. I think they should consider full table service. The ordering is somewhat awkward because you can't have a tab. So my friend and I wanted a glass of wine to start so we paid for that, then we decided on dinner so we went and ordered that and paid for that. I wasn't sure if I should tip the regular 20% so I did. Other than that part it was delicious.
The was my first time trying Korean food, and I was impressed. Tried lots of different items, and the flavors were crazy good. One of my favorite dishes was the ramen, which had a really tasty broth. Very good
This place was the best. The bento here is so pretty. They also have delicious ice cream. I really wish I could go back, but I took vow to only eat at any resturant only once. Alas, I cry bitter tears at the faustian bargain I have entered. Look at me and see your fate if with the dark powers you bargain.
First time going here and the atmosphere was very nice! I went when it was busy, service was still great.
Great food at incredible prices. I like their seafood fried rice, unaju, among many others. But I have to say the tuna salad is the best I've ever had (see pic). I'd eat at DenDen every single day if it wasn't for the steep hill I have to climb.
The soft tofu stew is delicious.
Clearly marked with vegetarian options. Though they got an egg with my stew. So let them know if you don't want one.
The staff here are great, and the restaurant is comfortable. The area around the restaurant is also nice. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. This is a great place to eat.
Cute place! Their dolsot bibimbap and seafood pancake are yummy :) London fog latte was pretty good, too.
Beautiful small place, great food and prices. Had the seafood scallion pancake which was great and then the korean beef bibimbap
Good Korean food, friendly staff... worth the trip down from Boston.
The chicken bbq was pretty good.. the sauce and vegetables were perfect, but the chicken was a little dry. Be sure to double check your credit card as I am disputing their double charge. I really do not appreciate being taken advantage of as I only ordered ONE entree, but they charged me TWICE for the same meal + tip.
This place has the most amazing fried chicken and scallion pancakes.
Definitely a new favorite place to study. Wonderful service and relaxed environment. The service is deliberately amazing. The food is delicious and filling. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor.
A good comforting korean/japanese eatery. The tteokbokki, japchae, kimbap, and stews are very good. Prices are decent and portion sizes are good. Location is a nice area as well which make it easy to get to.
We absolutely love this place. The location is convenient, the servers are friendly (and highly efficient), and the food is to die for. My favorite dishes are the kimbap and japchae.
Loved the meal and the atmosphere of the place! Definitely will be coming back. Staff is very nice.
The atmosphere was great with really great customer service. The food was so so good and most of us had to take some home just because the portions were so large. Which is really amazing! And the food came very quickly even though the restaurant seemed pretty busy
Very small. Food and service was great. Would definitely recommend.
Really unique place to eat! The food is phenomenal. I typically find one thing I like at a restaurant and keep on that item but here I actually rotate between three or four different entrees. Always friendly service and I’ve never had to wait long either. Highly recommend both Den Den spots in Prov.
Food is great. Service not so much, they are a non tipping establishment so that should tell you everything you need to know. No1 checks on you after you receive your food, so you have to stalk anyone walking by to get things you need. 2nd time ordering chicken wings, and 2nd time got all drums and one flat - also was short a wing so ask specifically for a flat seeing there was only 1 and the waiter still brought a drum. Unfortunately that will be the last time we eat here.
Very good. Best iced London fog I have ever had. Bimbimbop also very good
Delicious! A helpful psa for people have never been, you get a table but it’s cafeteria style, so after you have your table you go to the counter to order and pay and then they will bring your food to your table. You don’t have to clean up your table when you’re done, though not leaving the table a mess is always nice for wait staff! Enjoy the menu! And add the fried egg, you won’t regret it!
The combination of flavor in these dishes is impeccable! The vibes is really cool and settle
Have been here about a dozen times. Never disappointed. Specially their Spicy pork spicy sauce bim bim bap hot bowl. Awesome portions, fresh ingredients, and always served fresh. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious food! I went with my family and everyone had a lot of fun trying all the new and exciting foods!
Great collection of korean japanese food and green tea. Great hosts as well.
Only been here once and tried almost everything in one go. Each and every dish is authentic, fresh and flavourful. Order 20 items and the total was around 200$. Service is really fast. kimchi with tofu was one of my favorites here. Only thing is they did not provide complementary sides. Overall this is a must visit place.
The food here is consistent and delicious. My fav go to is the Korean ramen and the monkey balls. They also have a great staff that is super friendly and on top of it. If ordering on the weekends know that they get busy and it might take an hr for your order so plan ahead.
Not good but not bad. It’s average. I’m from NYC so I already dropped my expectations walking in through the door. I was expecting poor quality food but it is a little better than that, it’s average. Nothing special.
Soondubu is exactly the prepackaged ones that you can find at H-mart. Galbi probably uses the CJ brand marinade one can find at an Asian mart as well. I would come here if nothing else is open.
I absolutely LOVE this place! I've ordered different things the few times I've been here and I've loved all of the dishes! Presentation and taste is amazing! Their drinks are good as well! I recommend their honey Ginger tea to tea lovers!
There's a particular worker who's petite with short hair and takes orders who delivers EXCELLENT customer service! Very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful when trying to decide what to get and cheerful!
Parking lot is small, so be prepared to park on the street. Even if you have to walk a bit, Den Den is worth the walk!
We've been here a number of times. It is a very casual neighborhood atmosphere. You're given a menu on entering and asked to find your own seat. When you're ready to order you go up to the counter place your order and get a number for your table. Food is brought out to you as soon as it's ready. We have always had a great experience. Food is good, service is excellent, staff is super friendly, and atmosphere is nice. The staff are super helpful at explaining the dishes and offering suggestions. Don't let the fast pace stop you from asking questions. The only real downsides are that the acoustics in the place make it very loud and parking is tough. Neither should stop you from this wonderful experience!
Pretty good korean food that is just around the block
Great Place to eat! I loved the variety of food here! Steamed WanTans are my favorite. Personal was very friendly and explained every dish and way of preparations - you know what to expect!
Also the dish design (plates and cups) - makes it to a great atmosphere.
The food is perfection! Not to expensive which is perfect for having lunch with a couple of friends. the food taste like it would be more expensive than it actually is, which is great. parking isn't bad and the people are always so kind. 10/10 would recommend!
Very good good at a great price! Super friendly helpful staff. Very clean. I had Yaki Soba and it was fantastic!
Enjoyed the hot pot bulgogi beef and fried rice.
Best coffee place in Rhode Island that we have been. They know how to properly make both hot and cold coffee/espresso drinks. Great hospitality and ambiance. Very clean place and clean bathroom. I haven’t had coffee this good since I lived in Asia! We didn’t eat here, but we will be back to try the authentic looking Korean food!
Can't go wrong. Good selection and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, delicious food.
Wonderful ambiance, excellent service and the food is full of rich complex flavors that will keep you wanting to go back.
Loved it. Lot many veg options too. Ice cream was awesome
Their bibimbap is top-notch! Possibly one of the best bibimbaps I've ever had so far. Large portion and VERY reasonably priced.
Also the place is situated right next to Brown and RISD, which is a great location for students and tourists.
Den Den Cafe is quite simply good. This is excellent, reasonably priced Korean food.
The restaurant itself is a comfortable space, somewhat small but well-used, making this a great date spot. You walk in, get seated, but order and pay up at the bar. Wait staff bring you the meal. This catches some first-time visitors off guard sometimes.
The menu isn't the largest, but often I think that's best. A place can't really be good at everything. You're bound to find something on the menu for everyone. The kimchi pancake is one of my favorites.
I always and readily recommend Den Den Cafe when anyone is looking for Korean or just a good meal.
Great food, great atmosphere! First time back since they expanded nextdoor and it was awesome! Next to no wait (got there at 7:15 on Friday night) and got right in and got a table. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the staff is super friendly and always glad to help.
I bet it’s the to go place for students at Brown. Quite tasty and lots of choices!
Amazing starters.... Den den monkey rolls are the best here
This restaurant is DELICIOUS!!! Best Korean food I’ve had in the US. Good price, good amount of food and the flavors are legit. Their coffee is really good too. Lattes, cappuccino, etc.
The food was EXQUISITE! I had a Seafood Yaki Soba with an iced ginger tea and it was so good. I couldn't eat it fast enough! The atmosphere is casual but the food is top notch. It can get a little loud inside the restaurant and it's rather small but it's a local student hang out, so it's understandable. Prices are worth it, believe me!
Great place, great food, no tipping you order at counter and then they bring the food to you! Really nice staff! Haewon is such a friendly and awesome human being! A great asset to the establishment!
This place is SO good. The food is truly incredible. I have never enjoyed fried rice so much in my life--I get that in a place like this you wouldn't expect the review to be about fried rice, but I think that such a basic and simple dish was done so perfectly speaks volumes to all their food--ITS GOOD!
Absolutely amazing. Everything was as good as I hoped it was and I highly recommend the hot pot. Couldn’t have had a better experience 11/10.
Stopped by on a Sunday night before leaving Providence. Food was delicious, tea was great, prices were reasonable and the staff was all friendly. Definitely recommend giving them a shot.
Note: if you don't like fish flakes ask for none on your dish.
Great food, friendly staff. The portions are a good size and the prices are very reasonable. It's also very tastefully decorated in my opinion. Nice place for lunch or a date. Probably not the best place for a large party.
had the bibimbap with beef and egg. service and food were great. Love the model that you pay first and don't need to wait for your check afterwards. Received good attention and advice from the staff.
Soooooo good....just perfect. Monkey ball are a must. Can't ever go wrong with Ramen and BBQ 😊😊😊 …
Delicious Korean food! Would definitely recommend the spicy squid and pork belly and the yaki soba. Staff was attentive and helped with menu selections. Will definitely be back to try more offerings.
Den Den is not only one of a kind delicious, has classic/smooth music playing in the background, and beautiful lightning, but their staff is incredibly friendly and open to talk for a second! The crowd in there is always nice to be around too. 5/5 all day every day
Food was very good. And the service was great also.
Great food and service. Really good, I'll definitely be back.
Great value, superior service, and excellent food with fresh ingredients. In my party of 6, several of the dishes were delayed to the table because the Denden staff felt they had to remake 2 of them because it wasn't to their standard. The employee was very apologetic and offered several options as a consolation. The remade food didn't take long to come out at all, but we all appreciated how conscientious and sincere the restaurant was over what was actually a very minor inconvenience. The food was hot and fresh and tasted great! The vibe is modern and atmosphere is good. Second time coming here and would come back without hesitation!
I have the Gyudon. The meat was not as thinly sliced as I wished, but it was still very tasty.
Get the korean bulgogi hot pot dish. Crack the egg and throw it in boiling broth. Your welcome and yeah providence wasn't the best place but if I go again, best believe I'll go back. Amazing flavors on mine and my co-workers
the food is amazing! the staff is so polite and helpful with recommendations. the dumplings and mochi is the best i have ever had. food comes out quick and hot! thank you den den😁😁 …
We were looking for a place to use the potty (pregnant wife, so it’s about every 30 minutes), so we popped in here real quick. No intention of sitting down but the aroma was overpowering as soon as you walk in the door. Decided to split a Bibimpap with spicy chicken and it was off the charts delicious. It has a really good kick and the flavor is just fantastic. We would go back in a heartbeat if we’re ever in the area again. Highly recommended.
Great service and great food, nice atmosphere. You get a lot of food and leave full
The atmosphere is great! Somewhat unique with a coffee bar in the front, which is where you order once you're seated, and a separate additional dining area. The decor is very clean with a lot of beautiful exposed brick, in fact the separate dining area looks like it used to be an alleyway interestingly enough, if you pay attention to that sort of thing it gives you a little history in a way. Lots of college kids here, likely due in part to the pretty reasonable prices.
The food itself was fantastic! We got the hot plate bibimbap and the soft tofu stew and both were true to Korean recipes but very clean compared to the Korean food my girlfriend grew up eating. The bibimbap included summer squash, radish, spinach and kale as well as the beef that we chose as the meat. The vegetables actually worked very well with the dish. Side dishes of kimchi and garlic broccoli also got the seal of approval.
Best way to sum up my experience is that I've never regretted spending my money here. The food is so flavorful but also presented beautifully. When you walk in you're greeted by a delicious savory aroma too, so it's pleasing to many senses :) Of course my go to here is the 비빔밥 bibimbap with beef and a fried egg. It's a very fun experience eating out of a hot stone pot. I especially enjoy the sizzling sound. The japchae is also delicious, very flavorful. Overall haven't been disappointed with the food yet. I'd recommend the tofu kimchi app if you love kimchi, and the potatoe twister for the comfort food lover. Den den monkey balls are yummy too. Another great aspect to this place is the service. Food has always been served quickly and staff are attentive to needs. I also enjoy their process of ordering and paying up front, and then sitting down. You don't feel hurried along by a waiter bringing a check or go through that little inconvenience of splitting the bill. Only criticism I could think of is their banchan. Maybe it's because I usually go on Sundays, but the side dishes are always the same. It would be nice to experience a greater variety of the many different korean side dishes that exist :)
If looking for Korean food in RI, this is a must stop. There are a few favorites dishes amongst the crowd, but you can trust that every dish is done with great quality and amazing flavors. I also enjoy the relax atmosphere, how helpful the staff is and that I can grab a glass of wine or coffee.
We really liked this place. The staff were friendly, informative and efficient. They had a separate vegan menu which was great for some members of party. Very comfortable setting. Will go again when back in Providence
I got the spicy pork, and asked for extra spicy. It was the hottest thing I've ever eaten haha. I was sweating bullets. It was very tasty.
Came here for the last 4 times. It's pretty affordable and the food is great! The Korean ramen is so good! It's a very clean establishment, very chill atmosphere. A great place to hang out and have a drink with some friends.
The staff are so nice and patient. One waitress discovered I was accidentally given mushrooms in my ramen (I get a reaction, I get rashes on my cheeks, no biggie. I let them know but it was a busy night I guess so maybe they forgot, it's cool!) anyways, the waitress gave me a bowl of ramen on the house when I told her about it. So SWEET. I'll always appreciate that kindness. ❤
Very friendly staff, tasty Korean food, and a solid ambience. Great for dates, out catching up with friends, or wanting to try good authentic Korean cuisine, like their stone bibimbap with spicy chicken. Wonderful place, go try it!
Would give it 5 stars for excellent food but they lost 1 star for very poor service. The good: excellent unagi don (grilled eel over rice) -very soft and tender and full of flavor, but not at all greasy or overbearing. Just delicious and clean. Their spicy tuna stuffed mushrooms are really unique and absolutely yummy.
The bad: Long wait to order at counter when there was only 1 couple before us... but register guy seemed busy w trivial (and slow) visits to other tables for reasons that could've been done after our order was taken. Price seemed a bit steep compared to other Japanese/Korean restaurants (for ex, $20 for unagi don is more than I pay in NYC, where restaurants face much higher rents). Food was delicious but more pricey than it should be for what it is
Modern Korean cuisine that we enjoyed so much. Welcoming restaurant staff made our days. We ordered rice cake with Korean spicy sauce, fried chicken and beef bulgogi soup, every dish is so yummy!! Would definitely revisit next time in Providence.
Great fast service and amazing flavorful food. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Best bibimbap I’ve ever had and I really can’t understand the flavors in every dish. Wish I lived in providence I’d go every week.
I can't believe that I've lived here as long as I have and never tried this place! I'm so grateful that they're doing takeout during this time. Today I had the Kimbap kim chi roll, and a bento box with Chicken Karaage. It was all delicious! Will definitely be back.
Came for the first time on a very busy night. Everyone from host to person who delivered our food was delightful. Let us know they were running a little behind and we’re extremely apologetic. Told us this is not usually what people expect or what they expect. Super attentive. GREAT food. Will definitely be back!!!!
Best Korean food in Rhode Island! We split the Korean beef fried rice and spicy barbecue pork, both are bursting with flavor. The staff is friendly and timely. The floor needed to be moped and was a bit sticky.
Love this restaurant
My husband is Korean and we lived in Colorado for 7 years and they have Korean places everywhere and when my husband and I moved in with my mom we don't have many in Massachusetts theres some in Cambridge Ma but that's in Boston. The nearest ones are 50 miles and this one is close to us verse the one in Cambridge or Worcester. This place is really good I love their yaki soba.
Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the environment is very nice and cozy, and the staff are attentive. Will definitely come again!
Been here 30 times or so. Fantastically consistent, friendly, and I love the pay up front then walk out when done model. Chicken japchae, spicy bbq, and gyoza are my favorites.
One of the best Asian fusion restaurants in the city. Their fish Kushikatsu is simply phenomenal. I strongly recommend this place. It is usually busy and not a great place to sit down and work. I think "café" is a misnomer. This is more of a restaurant than a café, but it is a really excellent restaurant.
Absolutely best Bulgogi I've had! It's perfectly seasoned, not too over grilled which can easily be done with Korean grill. I've had many Korean places including some in Korea and Den Den is actually better than most.
Absolutely fabulous. My vege tofu stew was served piping hot and was super spicy. Came with a fresh egg that I cracked into the bowl, where it cooked. Waitstaff were friendly too :)
Please anyone who is looking for an amazing menu with as amazing staff please visit Den Den you will not be disappointed. Spicy Squid and pork belly BBQ In the top picture and located In the picture below is Premium BBQ short rib. Im drooling thinking about it.
A smallish and cute spot with great food, super friendly staff and a reasonable price. Portions were good. Street parking with a little lot next to the cafe.
Wow, incredible food. Prices aren't bad for the portion you get, the food is fresh as ever and the staff members are great. A really unique, fresh option that I wish was nearby me. Highly recommended.
Excellent food for a decent price. The only thing that was out of whack for pricing was the wine, which was more expensive than you'd expect for a place like that. Adequate gluten free options and very friendly employees.
The food was very delicious and the service was very prompt. They have order the item and pay at the counter which I thought was different. Once I pay for the food, I didn't think they would no longer attend to my services or check on me but, to my surprise they still did. They check on me more often then the typical restaurants that have me pay at the end.
Excellent food! The first time I went I got a tuna tataki bento box, which was fantastic. This last time I got squid and pork chili barbecue, which was (somehow) even more fantastic. If you're a fan of pan-Asian, I think it would be difficult to order something that's *not* fantastic; DenDen comes highly recommended.
Food is yum and always happy to eat at a vegetarian friendly restaurant.
Some trivial feedback: neither the server or the menu premptively educated me about how to order a veggie meal. I assumed I ordered a vegetarian broth (there is a green leaf next to the options ) however, recently learnt the broth prolly had fish powder unless you request without it purposefully. So, I guess be attentive when you order and let them know your restrictions.
I met the owner. And had a chance to work in the kitchen(doing plumbing)... i can tell u this is a very clean and well run establishment . the owner is very particular about the food and overall reputation of denden.great style and .i would eat here any day ... 2 locations also.
Awesome! Great service and awesome food for a very reasonable price. I came in and they were packed. I asked the woman to just call when they had an openning(there wasnt much room inside and it was cold out). I went to wait in my car and I had a great experience. I'll definitely be back
You need to know that you order at the counter, where they give you a number to take to your table. Nobody will tell you this, so now you know.
That aside, the place is comfortable and cozy. We had the Bibimbap (I had the pork and my boyfriend had the beef), which was delicious. They give you the sauce in a small sauce dish and not the usual squirt bottle. It also had a lot of salad greens on top, which gave me pause. Bibimbap is one those foods that can be made many ways, so I went with it. And damn, it was delicious.
This was my first time here and will not be my last. This is a great place for a date or a casual meal with friends.
Not a bad spot if u long for Korean food. Food was pretty tasty (chilli squid and port belly) but I am not impressed. My coat smell of Korean food after the meal...perhapa the ventilation could be better. Go with the vegetarian bibimbab, which was pretty decent.
I love this place it so good. I love going to this place with my mom because they have the best gluten free option and taste wise is exquisite and delightful so if you want to have real authentic Korean food I would recommend to go and try it
Extremely good Korean BBQ, great gyoza too! Love the atmosphere.
Really good food, can be busy at times so make sure you call in advanced. I had their Garlic Friend Chicken bento which was great, but if I had to order again I would've got the bibimbap (looked really good)!
Totally missed the fact that you have to go up and order, no one will take your order at the table. The food smelled amazing, though. Three stars for not making it clear that you order up front and just letting us sit there for 15 minutes, till we got frustrated and left.
Den Den Cafe Asiana is churning out the city's best Korean food. Do you have any friends you're looking to introduce to Korean food? This place is the spot. The giant hot stone bibambap bowls are piled high with an oozy eggs, veggies, rice, kimchi, and your protein of choice. Be sure to mix up the bowl so can have some of the crispier rice in every bite! For apps, the gyoza, scallion pancake, and shrimp shumai are sure to please everyone. If you're super hungry I'd advise trying to go at an off-peak time--there can be a wait, but the staff are super wonderful and will take the time to answer any of your questions about the menu and Korean food.
I've never had anything here that I didn't like. Denden's tofu stew and chicken karaage are the most notable but they also make a great hamburger steak and bibimbap. Everything tastes as good as it looks. Dan makes the best London Fog -- don't bother going elsewhere.
Delicious and tasty. You will find all the signature Korean and Japanese dishes. I had the beef bibimbap with fried egg and it was delicious. Highly recommended.
Okay price with very little food.
The best Asian food I've had in New England. The pork belly is to die for. It just melts in your mouth. The soft tofu stew and jap chae are also fabulous. You order at the counter, but they bring your food to the table, which is nice.
I gave them a four because I almost never give five but their food is delicious and authentic.
The crew is nice every thing on the menu is good I usually stick with one the I really like a big 👍to them keep up the good work …
I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic. The bibimbap and chicken kaarage are divine. Make sure to stop by if you're able to.
Nice atmosphere and I would call this Asian fusion restaurant + cafe. You can get a coffee when all other cafes are closed. The tofu kimchi is very disappointing as the sauce is so sweet and heavy! My whole clothes smell like kimchi. Other beef courses seem light. Order the right dishes are key here.
Came here a couple of times when I had a craving for Korean food. Noodles are good, kikimbap okay. Friendly staff. Nice location altho a bit far from brown campus.
Delicious food great atmosphere friendly staff
Food is fantastic, great service, atmosphere. Authentic!
I got the squid and pork belly bbq - it was the best meal I’ve ever ordered - hands down. Thank you DenDen, you’re a blessing to all of PVD.
Ok so ive been sitting on doing a review of this restaurant pretty much since it opened but i think its about time. Den Den to me is as close to a perfect restaurant as you can get, the food is always great I think the sign of a great restaurant is the consitency of their product and after being a returning customer for years i can say everythings tasted the same since day one. the service is always great theirs rarely a mistake but the second one does happen the staff is quick to act and fix it especially hye-won(sorry if i butchered your name) they have made us feel welcomed and taken care of since the day they arrived at den den. The space itself is very warm and comforting with its darkred brickwalls and wooden tabletops, it can be very packed but with its new side room waiting a long time is never an issue. If youve read this far please give den den a try i promise you wont regret it.
The owner of DENDEN is the nicest guy ever. Very genuine and always strikes up a conversation. The food is great. I'm a big fan of the Bibimbap. Would highly recommend eating here.
Squid and pork belly barbeque is awesome! I love both DenDen restaurants, but this one is the better of the two.
Such great food! I recommend the hot stone bibimbap! It’s so tasty, great quality, tons of food, and fairly priced
A small and very awesome Asian Cuisine. Mainly focus on Korean and Japanese Cuisine. The squid and pork belly bbq is one of the must try in Den Den Cafe. My personal favorite is the Kimbap, but the beverage menu need an upgrade. Chai was overpowering, green tea latte had too much green tea. They need to find a happy medium.
Good food, location, and atmosphere. Got the hambagu steak which was rly good although a tad bit salty. Good flavors tho :)
Delicious Korean Food and great environment, helpful staff, clean and great prices, love the hot matcha latte one of my favorite hot drinks. And of course soju!
Den Den offers consistently good Korean/Asian food (not the usual pan-Asian stuff) in an informal setting. I recommend the yaki soba and bbq chicken/pork as well as the two gyoza options, but many other good things are available.
Excellent asian food, very eccentric, many choices. Daughter's favorite.
Excellent service! Excellent food! Loved the Den Den Hot Stone Bibimbap! The best one I have eaten! If you are in the mood for a great tasting hot soup, order the Den Den Hot Pot Bulgogi Beef!
Absolutely lovely. Food is delicious and wait staff was very friendly. Drove from CT to give a try and was very happy!.
Fantastic food! Excellent staff, quick service, and delicious recipes. Can be busy on the weekends, but you don't typically wait long.
Great atmosphere, service, and food. Prices are very reasonable. If you are unsure about anything on the menu they are very helpful with helping you find something to your liking:)
Great service. Pay upfront then your order is served to your table.
Clean large relaxing place to eat at.
Will come back again.
Best Korean food ever! Cozy atmosphere, where you order/pay at the counter and food is brought to your table. Be sure to try the hot stone bimbimbap! Everyone is always friendly and prices are absolutely worth it.
One of the top 5 restaurants I've ever been too. The fried pork was incredible!
My son was adimate that we try this restaurant while in town for a wedding. It was highlight for sure. Great service, awesome food and relaxing atmosphere!
Best fried chicken I've had in RI. Dont recall ever having seeing cheese on a Korean menu before, but the cheese smothered KFC is a game changer
I love the bibimbap. Even tho you order at a counter, it still feels like a full dining experience
Good food but need to fix overcharging: whoever was the cashier overcharged me by $1 for my bento. When I pointed it out he said the price went up. I said, no, you have to abide by the price on the menu (legally), so he handed me a dollar from the TIP JAR. He then overcharged my friend--who had heard our conversation--for the same bento and repeated the whole thing over again. Food might be good, but imagine if they are overcharging everybody without their knowledge! Please remedy, DenDen. It'd be a shame if I can't keep eating at your restaurant.
I have been going here since it opened last January and I have never been disappointed with any meal that I have gotten. My two favorites are the Spicy Pork BBQ and Spicy Pork Bimbibap. I highly recommend
Food is always amazing.
Wonderful food and even better staff
Great food and staff!
What a unique and awesome menu. Customer service, especially when they aren't mobbed and have time, is great. Hot bowl is outstanding.
Excellent food and very relaxed atmosphere.
Cool place. They mostly serve Japanese plates. The relaxing music and service were great. They are following Covid guidelines.
I have been here twice now and both times I left very satisfied. The seafood scallion pancakes are a must! Staff is friendly and service is quick. I will be back for more
Recommended. Great Korean food. Great meal for the price. Would definitely go back again and again if I lived there.
Great place to get a quick meal. The kimchi pancakes are AMAZING and so is the bimimbab. However, I would suggest getting the bimimbab without lettuce because it's kind of overwhelming.
Their food was authentic & restaurant was very lively & young feeling. Loved to be there. Their hot pot Bibimbob was huge.
Bibimbap with chopsticks is a meal and workout. Don't reccomend if you have carpal tunnel syndrome otherwise frickin amazing. The bowls are hot! Don't touch the bowls!
Best Korean food in the state of Rhode island, possibly also including the state of Massachusetts. Mark Zuckerberg goes here when he's in town. Kimbaps are good. As is the korean ramen as a compliment.
Always an enjoyable dining experience! Great food every time!
Great food, great service. Very busy! Go before 6 or after 7:30. Udon noodles were amazing :)
Squid and pork belly BBQ, OOOOOWEEEE GET OUTTA TOWN
Friendly staff, pretty speedy service. Big fan of paying at the counter then table service, leave when you're done.
You can’t go wrong here
Hot stone bimbimbap w spicy pork
Spicy tofu soup
Chicken karaage are among my faves
Fantastic food, very healthy, high quality and flavorful. Staff is warm and friendly. Atmosphere is great.
Food was great! Hard to get a table though. Had the korean bbq pork. It was really spicy and flavorful.
The appetizers are pretty good. We're a bit bland but then we asked for the hot sauce that changed everything! Yum.
Delicious, so good. Any opportunity to return I look forward to. Trendy but worthy of that label. Would recommend without any reservation, so good.
Delicious! I was starving so forgot the pics. Lol.
Always delicious. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
My favorite place in providence! The price are very friendly and awesome food
Good food. but the quality get down in last visit. the tufu soup is my favorite but last time the beef added is changed, hard to eat...so sad...
Delish! Great Asian food. Our RISD student eats here when he can and better yet takes us here when we visit.
Really good! Kimchi good
Beef bbq really good
Not disappointed at all. It hit the spot
I like the atmosphere here, but the seafood in tofu stew is not extremely fresh, might try something else next time
This is my favorite restaurant ever. Great prices, excellent service, I drive from north attleboro once a week for it, and it's absolutely worth it.
Always a pleasure. Don't expect the same wings as their thayer street cousin but do expect many other delicious options. Get the green tea ice cream!
Good food at reasonable prices
Excellent fresh tasty food with unusual flavors. The place is a little loud, they don't have enough soundproofing
Good Korean foods with modern twist cater to non native. Long wait around dinner time. Good services.
Wonderful new addition to the neighborhood. Order at the counter Korean food. Cool atmosphere, good service, quick, and great food.
Good Korean food, including a few things beyond the basics. Feels new/trendy inside. Nice staff.
The food was AMAZING. Was it worth the wait, first outside for a table, then inside at the counter.... I'll venture yes.
Great food. Cool decor and unassuming environment. I’d want to try everything on their menu.
Best Korean food I've had in a while. Great portion sizes at a reasonable price.
Really good! The vegan ramen was great and the mochi is even better!
I've been here several times and tried to love it, but I can't. The food is not good or bad – just average. Don't believe the hype.
Food was quite delicious. Friendly staff, good prices.
Really good food and atmosphere.
This place is great but I wish they had a way to order delivery online. especially during a pandemic it seems like a wise move.
Good vegan options. Friendly staff. Great food.
Try vegetarian udan noodles.
Place is great. Spectacular array of originals and fusion. Unique take on staples. Full coffee bar for after your meal.
Cafeteria style ordering Korean BBQ cuisine. The food is consistently delicious and this is a regular place for me.
Great bibimbap, excellent spring rolls, veg friendly, nice variety on the choices, outstanding service.
Very good, casual dining experience. Can get in a great meal and good conversation, works perfectly after a long day's work
Had lunch with my son, Mom and I, the food was fantastic highly recommend.
Western version of Korean food. Not as authentic but well suited for college students. Very busy place but quick service
Nice restaurant, friendly service, and most importantly delicious food. you can get coffee espresso latte here too
Friendly staff and the menu was full of tantalizing choices. Would definitely return when I'm back in Providence.
Good vibe but really awesome spot if you like a double black diamond menu and food that takes an hour too cool down to safe consuming temperature.
Excellent food, Great customer service, overall amazing
Nice place. Clean. Everyone is attentive and nice. Food is all delicious. Fast service. Variety of food and desserts
tasty food, good courteous service. many gluten free options
The food here is always good and the staff is so friendly! Don't pass up the mochi, it's hard to get good mochi in the US.
Good but not wow. Great fun, good lighting. Love the scallion pancakes. Bibimbap delicious.
The best korean in providence. Love the bbq dishes especially squid and pork belly bbq
Always a great experience - multiple vegan options, friendly staff, great atmosphere.
I would probably eat here every day, if I didn't cook. Great food at an excellent price.
Always a wait, but if you have the food you'll understand why. It's delicious and a great getaway from campus food
Best thing to happen to Benefit in years. Great menu, done well and with integrity. Love the Japchae and the chicken karaage
Great food at reasonable prices. Always have a good meal; love the bibimbap
We came here for dinner, and besides it being rather warm inside, the food was delicious. The service was also really great.
Excellent, fresh Korean dishes with an easy to follow menu. Friendly and efficient staff
It’s my favorite Korean food place!
Best bulgogi in Providence!
Cheap but great food! Good quantity and noodles were perfect!
Love it, food was great also price are reasonable, will be back
Excellent food, reasonably priced n good vegetarian options....must visit in Providence
The noodle soup is great for its price. The Udon is reasonable for its size.
Just don't eat the rice with chopsticks, it doesn't work and it's apparently not how it's done. It's a good spot to grab a quick iced coffee too.
Really good gyoza and ramen. Great price. Atmosphere is is pleasant as well.
Excellent food, great concept. Theyre like really busy and the service seems to reflect this.
The food is amazing, and the service is great! I'd recommend the soft tofu stew.
Great korean and japanese food in Rhode Island.
The japcae and eel dish are very good.
Delicious Korean/Asian food on the cheap. Large servings and liberal application of spices.
Whatever you order you're going to love it! Delicious food, very nice atmosphere, highly recommended!
Absolutely love this place! My go-to choice to pick up a quick takeout meal.
Always great service, food is always spot on too. One of my all time favorites.
Really good Korean food! The flavors are great and friendly staff!
Great food and really kind chill staff!! Also good drinks!
Very good and clean with a variety of different food tastes and preparation techniques. Reasonably priced.
Food is fresh and well prepared. Cool and casual ambient. They also serve coffee.
De de licious! From the shumai to the noodles ... den den has it going on.
Great restaurant! Authentic Japanese/Korean food and friendly staff.
Delicious and authentic! Clean place, friendly staff.
Amazing Korean cuisine served by great people. Reasonable prices too!
Great food nice people..little hit in side but well worth it...Bibim-Bop is a must..
Nice, peaceful, laid back kind of place. Food was hot, delicious and lots of it!!! Soooo good.
I’m from Denver and I came here while visiting, the best dumplings I’ve ever had. I’ll be going back again while I’m in town.
I mean, what’s not to like? Love the food and very professional and quirky staff.
Amazing and due to covid they are taking it very seriously but food is awesome and prices are affordable
The best affordable restaurant in Providence. Skip Thayer street and come here if you want better food.
Great food and atmosphere. Price is a bit high but totally worth it.
Great Korean food, excellent udon and dumplings and nice atmosphere.
Attentive, sometimes a bit much even, but better than waiting for a refill mid meal.
Delicious food, can get a little busy and loud at peak hours. But definitely worth it!
Great Korean food, very fun place to be. Highly recommended.
Came in 25 minutes before closing, and they were still hospitable and served us anyway ! 5stars in taste, experience, atmosphere and hospitality !! 👌 …
I loved everything about this place will definitely be back soon!
Best place for lunch in the area. It can be a little slow, but they seem to be getting faster.
Tofu stew yum
Great Korean food for a great price, would definitely recommend.
It was fairly decent food; you order up at the counter and pay before hand and then they deliver it to you table.
One of THE BEST hidden gems in Providence. Den Den serves authentic Korean Bites.
Food is aways great. Very clean
Great atmosphere and attitudes make this a little gem on the east side.
Dumplings were delicious.
I love coming to this place! No matter what I get, it’s always so delicious.
Great place for food, coffee and hangout. Delicious. Good service too.
Great restaurant fresh and simple korean food
Don't like the concept of paying upfront first and can be very crowded. Otherwise the food was excellent.
Great food variety atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices!
Try the spicy ramen and enjoy the great service.
Such fantastic food! Clean, great staff.
Their food is incredible. Completely recommend!!!
Stone pot bibimbap was delicious and the portions are great!
Fist time at a Korean restaurant. definitely didn't regret it .we'll be back.
The BEST Asian noodles I have ever had! Would go here again and again!

Super friendly staff that greet you at the door. Wonderful drinks too.
Good food at good price. The food is very delicious and I love it.
Very delicious - would highly recommend
Superb food! Very nice staff!
DELICIOUS FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT. I recommend the gyoza!
The kimbap was good. So was the gyoza. Nice place, authentic flare
Excellent food.
Korean food was much better than the Japanese options
Excellent food. I wish I could tip them!
Loved it. The food was delicious and the service was great.
Amazingly delicious food, and the staff was awesome!
Very good quality, and nice size portions.
Love this restaurant! Great food and service.
Excellent food, prepared perfectly.
Not crazy about the "pick your drink by yourself". Service is questionable and it can get pretty busy too.
Good monkey balls and noodle dishes. Interesting menu.
Fantastic food in a very modern and comfortable place.
Service was not very warm but the food was great
Loved the food. Space is fun, but in the loud side.
Excellent food should have table service
Very delicious and good quality meal
Good vibes! Good good and love the chic brick walls. Good date spot
Love the squid and pork belly bbq.
Delicious dumplings and healthy cuisine!
Fab food, nice staff and hot hot bimminbat bowls

Very friendly staff and tasty food 😊 thank you ! …
One of the best meals I have ever had
Americanized in flavor and heat. Fresh options and choices which was nice.
Very tasty dishes. Will come back for more.
Very yummy food and big portions!
Awesome food and serves!!!!! But the sitting area was just to crowded
