Dog friendly and the service is exceptional. We came here to enjoy championship Sunday as Man City had just won the league in dramatic fashion. The beer was cold and the olives were plentiful. Great vibes and eclectic art work inside.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and always great staff to help and interact with. We had Mary Lynn help us Thursday and she was the best. Always ready to grab a drink or ask a new guest if they needed something, but not overly hovering. Just perfect. I love when we have birthdays and get together here. The patio is huge and the tables are spaced far apart for social distancing. I feel safe and cared for here; like family!

What a gem of a patio! They have a great beer selection, with both local& options from faraway. My pear and blue cheese salad was amazing, also very much recommend the West Coast cocktail if you like tropical vibes. Their staff was really friendly and helpful, I'll definitely be back when I visit Phoenix again.

Ever wonder that about having a place where you can hang out outside in this wonderful weather eat a good lunch and have over 24 beers to choose from - this is the place. Happy hour is impressive that it’s Monday all day and from 11 to 6 all the other days. A buck off all draft beer which is $5 - I’d say there’s not many places that do this anymore.

Our new favorite lunch or happy hour spot. The manager and our waitress Mary Lynn, were wonderful. We enjoyed chips and salsa, veggie quesadillas and shrimp tacos. All were spectacular and tasted very fresh! A nice selection of beer was available. Definitely adding it to our top places to go when we visit downtown Phoenix!

A very cozy atmosphere, a back yard relaxed vibe. The salty hog is a must starter for a Sunday brunch experience. The steak sandwich w blue cheese was an amazing way to get the taste buds into over drive. Then to finish off was the Duke margarita,, can't wait for the next experience here. Highly recommended !! Travel Review Alert! Ok, two words: Connor & Elizabeth. The atmosphere is cute, and cozy, with the perfect amount of trendy: like not vintage but not avant-garde. The decor is unique yet it all ties in together to help you catch the vibe. The food is DANK (as you can see by my empty bloody). The BLT is awesome, and so is the Sheridan. Maybe because basically everything is made from scratch here. The chef has worked here for 10 years, and they even roast their own Turkey meat. But the best parts of our experience by far were Connor our server and Elizabeth our hostess extraordinaire. We’re from out of town and they gave us so much kindness and attention. Connor recommended so many spots in Phoenix and an AWESOME entree and he was so kind and patient and good humored. They were accommodating the entire time and he kept my needs and preferences in mind throughout the entire meal. Definitely somewhere to add to your list!! A yummy, charming, unique spot perfect for brunch that should not be missed!

The food here is really good in the pictures you see shrimp tacos, veggie tacos and a Turkey sandwich. The Turkey sandwich was my favorite it’s called the Jive Turkey. I loved the jalapeño cream cheese that was used on the sandwich. The ambiance was really nice it’s definitely a place I’d recommended you taking a date on. Fellas if you’re trying to have a good night with that lady you’ve been trying to meet for the last 32 weeks from Hinge, Tinder or whatever site you use The Main Ingredient is your place! The food and beverages are cost affective so you won’t spend an arm and a leg. What you see in the three pictures was only $46. Not bad for good food, amazing customer service and good music. You won’t be disappointed and it’s Pet friendly! What are you waiting for???? Did you order yet??? Go to the main ingredient and have a good time!

Neighborhood place with indoor and patio seating. Variety of salads and sandwiches. Salsa and chips was an excellent starter. The roast beef sandwich was very tender and just enough horseradish to tickle the nose.

The place was very nice and clean well kept the food was all handmaid. Nothing canned. My folks have hearing issues and they found us a quieter place in the back. We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the art we enjoyed our conversation we enjoyed our food. An waitress was very helpful and on top of things. Really can't think of anything they could have done better.

If I were to move to Phoenix, I would need to secure a residence nearby this spot. Yes, I love the sandwiches that much! I've only had the opportunity to indulge a few times but each time, I've not been disappointed. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a beer and some top tier sandwiches. Great sized patio for dining outside, attentive staff, and good vibes.

I want to like this place more than I do. Cute spot, nice patio, food and beer selection is okay. One review claimed "best cobb salad in town", it wasn't bad but it was far from the best. Parking is extremely limited as was seating which is how I ended up on the patio. They have misters spraying to keep it cool out there which was nice but maybe not the most responsible thing to have in a 2 year drought. I'm torn because this should probably be a 3 star or less but, again, I really do want to like this place more than I do.

Unique establishment- house turned restaurant that makes guests feel right at home! The service is great, nice selection of brews, and the food is yummy and reasonably priced. I almost didn't give this review because I don't want to have to fight you for a seat or a table, but the folks at The Main Ingredient deserve a shoutout. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available alongside about 6 stools at the bar. Speaking of which, the bar has a slender liquor selection while serving up [somewhat] rotating draft and bottles/canned beers. The menu isn't huge, but it doesn't have to be; everything I've had has been delicious, with my favorite being the Acapulco cheesesteak (great, now I'm craving one). You'll find plenty of regulars from the local Coronado area, and the owner is likely sitting outside or at the bar. [Well-behaved] dogs welcomed outside. Recommended!

Great place for street tacos. What I don't understand is when Mexican food stopped being served with beans and rice??? Most places nowadays, including the Main Ingredient, charge extra for a tiny portion of beans! Im thinking taco Tuesday has become too popular and I'm going to go back to Pizza Friday

Amazing place we went to for brunch. The micheladas are PERFECT! I ordered the Acapulco Cheesesteak on sourdough instead of a baguette like how its listed. Food, drinks, and staff were amazing. Highly recommend for all ages.

Just had lunch at The Main Ingredient it was was delicious. I had the vegetarian tacos stuffed with sautéed vegetables and cheese then topped with avocado and a spicy sauce. The tacos are good, the beans are blah. The service is fast and friendly and the outdoor patio is large and comfortable.

Great little spot dishing out a variety of delicious food at the hands of friendly servers. Lots of regulars here, which says it all. I ordered the veggie quesadilla, which was excellent, especially with their house made salsa and guacamole. Just the right size, didn’t leave me feeling stuffed. Probably perfect as an appetizer for two. Love the artwork inside and the kickass patio outside. Parking is tight, so avoid peak hours if you can.

The new owner has changed things up quite a bit. Regular specials, new drinks, and music that isn't locked into one eventually played out genre. A great dog friendly patio makes this a very regular spot for many locals. Great happy hour drink prices (no food). The place rules and you should check it out.

This is the neighborhood bar you wish your neighborhood had; casual, chill vibe, great food & patio. Bring the guests you want to have long convo's, good drinks and not worry about side eye from others for bringing your dog. We didn't have much time as we had to head back to the office so we were out for a quick bite. Damn, she even offered us a beer which was tempting. The food was great as always. We were in and out. I even had Rob snag me a pop to go as we left. I had to drop a $20 for miss K as she was the only one I saw working the whole joint. Rob Ross fell in love with MI because he's a Michigan Man who loved the atmosphere and food. I'm sure we'll be back!

One of the best casual restaurants in Phoenix, by far. Every sandwich on that menu is phenomenal, but the BLT is next level. I don't usually order BLTs at restaurants, because they always tend to be a little bit disappointing, but I wake up at night thinking about this sandwich. They also have a phenomenal drink selection, occasionally with some surprises for specials. It also has an amazing outdoor seating area for the few months out of the year that the city has decent weather.

Well, how good was THAT? We were looking for a place near the Heard Museum to have lunch before wandering the halls to learn more about Native American art. We searched Google Maps, found The Main Ingredient, looked at the online menu, and headed on over. And we're glad we did. Sitting on the patio, having posole (her) and a delicious sandwich (me), we enjoyed superior food at very nice prices, all served up by an efficient and pleasant staff. My advice: take a look. If what is on the menu appeals to you, having it for lunch or dinner certainly will!

My wife and I stopped in here at is was convenient to a number of appointments we had and it indicated it had outdoor seating along with being rated well. When we pulled up it didn't appear to be what we had in mind but we proceeded anyway and glad we did. We ordered chips n salsa as an appetizer and the chips were fresh and the salsa outstanding. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my wife had an italian sandwich. Both were quite tasty and we took a pass on desert we were quite full. The service was really attentive and responsive and we were quite pleased with this little place. I think you would like it too...recommend if in the area.

I give this place two thumbs up . Delicious food, drinks, and great service and environment. The outside seating area was perfect. It's cozy and has a fun backyard feel to it. It's was perfect for our chill Friday night with friends. Employees are wearing masks and guests/tables are spaced out very well. I felt completely comfortable dinning in. I had the Sheridan Sandwich with a side salad and a Salty Hog... actually a few of those.

Nice little place, good patio. Very dog friendly and had a nice little event for Fat Tuesday. Good beer list and nice bartenders. Most all the food looked really good. My only ding...the Philly (SW) cheese steak I got didn't have enough meat to even cover half a layer on the baguette, even after I opened it and spread it thin. It was a bread sandwich with a bit of meat. All the other food did look really good though. Hope y'all catch this and either review that portion size or how to standardize portions. It was busy and maybe just rushed through as good enough. Overall recommend though.

I love the Sheridan Sandwich, and they have good beer selection. Free parking, and the building is an old cool building, outside seating is dog friendly and smoke area, with plenty of nice areas to hangout. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel like your part of the neighborhood.

This place has the laid back, chill vibe we love about midtown. Very good variety of quality beer, with a focus on local. Outdoor seating is very nice, with lots of misters and shade for warmer months. We went for the first time during monsoon season and were totally comfortable sitting outside. Our server was attentive, but never overbearing. Food was excellent. The salad that comes with the sandwiches are REAL salads (not just a couple of pieces of iceburg lettuce.) We will be back for sure.

Absolutely love this place! They are pet friendly, my friend brings her dog and has him leased to her chair. When they bring us water they also bring him a bowl. Food is amazing, great drinks ( I had the Blood Orange Cider), and great service. Can't wait to go back again. I'd give them more stars if Google would let me. Seriously go and treat yourself.

I love this place! It’s a very nice place to grab a quick bite or relax with friend over a pint. They have a full bar so they can make cocktails too. Although I haven’t tried their cocktails off the menu, they make a good manhattan and they always have a nice craft draft selection. I would recommend this place for outdoor dining during nice weather. Though it may be family appropriate during the day, I wouldn’t consider this as a place for the whole family for dinner (too many people smoking and drinking.)

Fantastic lil spot. The menu has a variety of options both food and drinks. Today, I had an incredible pb&j (The Cash Money). The balance of heat and sweet in their house-made jelly was incredible. Sandwiches can be paired with a house salad. The salad is generous with its portion compared to other places. The art work is great and creates an overall theme to the place. Server was attentive and pleasant.

Killer happy hour ($2.50 craft beers on draft!) and a nice dog-friendly patio. Good, friendly service. I've only eaten there a couple of times, and was pretty intoxicated when doing so, but I enjoyed the food that I had.

The Main Ingredient is a longtime favorite and has gone through 2 owners that I k ow of so far. You cannot beat a 3 dollar happy price and five on their cocktails. The food is simple serving a variety of sandwiches and salads, but it doesn't disappoint. I'm all about the veggie quesadillas, the jive turkey, the tuna salad salad, and the Cobb salad. I'm not a huge fan of the redesigned patio, but this neighborhood establishment is definitely Coronado staple. The place has a local feel and the staff is friendly. I am still making my rounds there every so often after leaving the neighborhood after 3 years.

Food was okay, it tastes homemade forsure. If I could change anything it would be the macaroni and cheese cuz it was a bit solid and seemed like it was just sitting. We always get the Acapulco cheesesteak sandwich on sourdough bread. It never disappoints. It is super flavorful and fulfilling, I recommend it with chips on the side. I believe I have had one other sandwich here which was good. The environment is inviting and down to earth. I like that they have outside seating and seem to be a popular neighborhood place where people even bike to.

Great beer selection although most are the canned variety. Decent stuff on tap. I forget the exact name of my pint but it was an IPA from a San Diego- area brewery so that narrows it down to 200 or so! My only minor gripe is the tiny bar with a seating capacity of 6 or 7 max

Had my birthday dinner here a few weeks ago and it was awesome. The happy hour is good, the patio is beautiful in the evening when the sun sets, and the food is always great. Ron, the owner, is a great and friendly guy. He started hosting Saturday feasts with a different menu and featured brewery each time. I went to last Saturdays hosted by Dogfish Head and the menu had a seafood boil, crab cake, cheddar biscuit, Lima bean salad, and a peach pie like dessert all for $15! Their regular menu is absolutely delicious too. I love the Green Chile Stew. The cocktails and beer selection is excellent too. If you like craft beer and great food, you'll find a little piece of heaven here in PHX. Good weather equals an amazing time on their patio. See you there!

It was so so, but the sides were lacking for the price. The sandwich itself was okay (I ordered the club) but it wasn't an actual club by any definition. The chicken was somewhat dry and I wasn't blown away by how thick the cut was. Honestly, this is something I could have made myself at home for $1.50, and had my boss not been buying I would have picked somewhere else to eat in a heartbeat. Service was poor too. I had to ask for water even tho the waiter saw I had nothing to drink after visiting our table on multiple occasions. For a restaurant in the heart of Phoenix it was pretty underwhelming.

This place is very cozy. In fact, they have a couple of sofas that you're welcome to sit and just enjoy a glass of wine or a beer from their wide variety of options. We had dinner here and the waitress was incredibly helpful when we had questions about items on the menu. The music was at the perfect volume and the place was lit well to set a certain mood while dining. I think the only down-side to the food was that it was too difficult to eat... my sandwich was overflowing with ingredients (which you'd think is a good thing!) but when I tried eating it everything squished out onto the plate. I ended up separating the sandwich and ate it with a fork.

Nice quiet place to meet with friends. Good cheesesteak sandwich but the RB&C lacked flavor. The beer selection was good. They had Grand Rapids beer which is exciting since that is where we are from! Service was okay. We were there early Saturday afternoon and they seemed to be under staffed. We paid on two checks and the server switched our cards. The bills differed by about $20. The group decided it wasn't worth changing (we would pay them back later) we let her know about the mistake, but let her know we didn't want it changed just letting her know so she didn't make the same mistake again. She walked away shaking her head and mumbling to herself. I approached her about it and she apologized and explained it was a misunderstanding. This was reassuring, but we aren't sure we will be returning.

Lunch was excellent quality at a reasonable price. I had the Sheridan sandwich for $10 dollars and it came with salad or chips. I'll admit the sandwich tended to slide apart in my hands but it was manageable. I will definitely go there again when I'm in town.

First time there! It was suggested by a co-worker who spends more of her time at the main office, so she has the chance to get over there quite a bit. I had the pear and blue cheese salad. I think of fruit and cheese as dessert, so I was just blown away by this salad! It had a just-right amount of thinly-sliced, perfectly ripe pears with crumbled blue cheese and candied pecans mixed into a tasty variety of greens. The vinaigrette was a wonderfully balanced combination of sweet and savory, which is so easy to get wrong. In fact it was the dressing that allowed me to enjoy a dessert combination for lunch. My companion had the tuna salad. It is intended to be full-on savory, with things like grape tomatoes added to the mixed greens. Again, it was the dressing that took this dish over the line from something nice to have for lunch, to a memorable meal. This was not the same dressing the salad is usually served with. My friend wanted ranch dressing, a risky choice even in good restaurants, but it was outstanding and as good as the ranch she makes at home. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Of course we'll be back. In addition to 5-star salads, they also have soup and sandwiches to try, as well.

If I could give 1/2 stars they'd get 3 1/2 stars because a few things kept it under a four. Great patio although it might have been nice to have a heater outside. For this local it was kind of chilly sitting outside 😊. Definitely dog friendly though. If they were busy the parking might be a problem but on Tuesday night it was fine. Even being off 7th Street the noise wasn't too bad. Maybe during busy times it would be worse. McKenzie, our waitress, was friendly and waited for us to chat a bit before ordering. We ordered the artichoke dip which came out hot. It had a good taste but a few stringy parts however the chips are made locally and delicious. They might want the person who refills the water to take off his bracelet because when he filled a glass the ends of the bracelet grazed our soup bowl, not appetizing to me. The enchilada soup was too spicy for me so they gladly took it off the bill. However hubby loved the spice! The baby blue salad had large chunks of blue cheese and was a large portion. The dressing was tangy, just right for this salad. Hubby ordered the sandwich with turkey and salami (can't remember the name) but the bread was really crust, a little too crusty for me. But the taste was good. Unfortunately they don't have decaf coffee and that's all hubby can drink so no coffee with dessert. But I had regular and it's pretty strong. The cheesecake was delicious and creamy and plenty to share. Not sure if I'd return but I would like to try the olives!

The Jive Turkey is great. Also, the artichoke dip is $8 but worth it. Servers are young, hip, and dress how they want so it's hard to figure out who to talk to. Restaurant is seat-yourself, but it takes forever to get noticed or to even be asked for drinks. Kettle chips taste like regular Lays. Wish there were fries.

Came in with 2 super pumped up dogs who had no problem bugging nearby tables to say hi or sniff for floor food. Luckily the server (and our table neighbors) were all very friendly and understanding (and it didn't hurt that our pups were cute). We had the chips and salsa and the cheese dip for appetizers, and the chili stew and grilled cheese sandwich as an entree. I really liked the menu and I thought the prices were super affordable for a casual yet nice looking place. The salsa was surprisingly spicy but flavorful and the cheese dip on toast was warm and super comforting. My grilled cheese sandwich was just ok (kinda hard to say more about a grilled cheese unless its out of this world amazing) but I thought the green chili stew to be filling, hearty, flavorful and perfect for the chilly weather outside. A cup of soup + half sandwich (shared with a friend) was just the right amount of food. My friend enjoyed his veggie quesadillas and we were happy with the boozy selection. Would definitely return.

This place was just what I needed. A long day of work on business here in Phoenix having come in from San Diego a day earlier. They had the substantive, flavorful beers I was looking for... hard to find when you're traveling and in a city you don't know.
