Reviews of Orsi's Italian Bakery & Pizzeria
Wai Chan
This was an interesting experience. I expected a full service restaurant, but found out it was more of a store where you order pickup, to go, or groceries.
We asked about eating in and they informed us they have these tables they can set up next to the bench. So it is technically a dine in restaurant.
The pricing here is fair. The sizes of the pizza were generous. It looked like Detroit style pizza to me, served in rectangles.
The people working felt more like a family vibe and they were very friendly and casual.
Parking is available on the street for free. I took a photo of the parking area next to the building.
We ordered the garlic cheese bread and a sheet pizza that we got split into two different toppings. I went with a mostly vegetarian, so we didn't get meat options which is what I'd normally try. I did like the cream cheese addition. That was a nice touch.
I'd like to go back and try more options. Hopefully find myself that 5 star combination.

Found this Omaha landmark pizzaria on Google and tool the chance to try out and I was glad I did. Italian heritage up for display the moment you walk into the establishment. I found myself reading the many stories connected with the pizzaria on the wall. Service was friendly. Ordered a pizza and it was good. Taste like homemade and not greasy like the typical franchise locations. Not really a fan of the garlic bread it came with although a nice unexpected touch.
You need to checkout the wonderful mural created South Omaha Murals. What a wonderful recognition of the local culture.

A small pizza place with BIG attitude, because the full sheet pizzas are HUGE!!! The staff was friendly, talkative and kind. The Pizza was delicious and the atmosphere made us feel like we had found a secret gem downtown Chicago. Inside you'll find home made breads, a fresh meat and cheese counter and pasta. The only down side was we ordered to much! I highly recommend giving it a try!.

All I can say is wow!! Cute little Italian bakery and pizza shop. The man behind the counter was so sweet. Pepperoni pizza was delicious! They threw in a free order of cheese garlic bread and it was so good! If you are in the Omaha area, you must stop here!!
Houston Guy
Great service. You can really tell that they care about the customers. I saw one of the young employees walk out in the cold wearing shorts and a t-shirt helping a guy carry his order to the car. The owner was awesome for giving me free garlic bread just for being a first time customer.
I'm a fat guy with a big appetite, I got the medium size (quarter sheet) for myself and it was plenty food to get me full. Two regular skinny people will be fine with a medium. They have a loyal fan base and you can see why. They close early though so keep that in mind.
Lex Tan
Friendly owner and staff who take pride in their food. The Italian sausage pizza and garlic bread was amazing, seasoned well, and with just the right amount of chew. They were kind enough to unfold a table so we could have lunch inside. We'll definitely be back!
Sean Kelly
Place was clean, pizza was good, staff was friendly and wait time was about 15 minutes for a to go order. What else can you ask for? Overall pizza was a 8.5. Very impressed. Highly recommended.
Dylan Reid
I'll give the place 5 stars for the service, and Italian roots. I think there are room for improvements.
I tried the quarter sheet of pizza. Single topping Italian sausage. The sausage was very good, but browned until quite small. Also. The meat was under the cheese which I found to be unique.
I have been to Italy 3 times. This is definitely a family style recipe.
The crust reminded me of Italian baked pizza (not wood fired).
We also tried the Cannoli's. The pastry was delicious. The perfect amount of crunch and flavor without being burnt. The vanilla filling could have more of a ricotta taste, to me it tasted more like a Bavarian creme you would get in a donut.
Bonus is they sell tipo 00 flour by the 4 lb bag. This flour is a must for making any style of pizza crust.
Didn't get a chance to buy any bread but it smelled good!
Ellie French
Their pizza is delicious! You can taste such a difference from other pizzas in everything they use but especially the crust. Their mini pizza is always the perfect amount to eat for lunch or dinner and I always end up having a slice or two to save for later. I recently grabbed a bag of their ricotta cookies with frosting and I was in heaven!! They taste like the super soft frosted sugar cookies you buy in the store but even better. Always satisfied when I go to Orsi’s ☺️

There are not enough words to describe how much I LOVE Orsi's. Since I've moved to Omaha at the end of September, I've been there like 10+ times. The fresh baked bread is amazing. The sauce is liquid gold , I always get a large container to go. I use the sauce in my lasagna. Oh, and their cannolis's are fantastic. This place has been around since 1919, and I understand why you don't mess with perfection.
Jeff Hug
The absolute standard for Italian bakeries and pizza. The personal pizzas are great for a quick lunch. The meat and cheese selection is the ultimate quality. The extra bits that you can order are just the same things nana used.

OMG!!!!
This place is AMAZING!
My besties and I are visiting from florida and we needed a spot for some late lunch/early dinner. This place popped up and the pics looked great so we decided to go. I’ve never seen a restaurant that reminded me so much of my Italian grandmothers home. From the pictures covering the walls to the garlic smell. Pizza? DELICIOUS! Garlic Bread? DELICIOUS!
Long story short. This place is so so so so so so so so so GREAT. You should go. I recommend 1000 times.

It’s a hidden gem! Best pizza in town. Love it! We always go there for 2 lbs. of Capocollo slices, and when the owner is in a good mood, he gives us a loaf of Italian twist 😊 sweet!!! …
Abby Braaten
Great food and great people! True authentic experience. Highly recommend stopping in to pick up a pizza or meat and cheese for some charcuterie or sandwiches!
James B
You’re robbing yourself if you don’t come and grab some food from Orsi’s. Absolutely phenomenal. Grabbed the quarter pan pizza and it was a great size and soooo tasty. They even had potatoes and broccoli as a topping! 10/10.
Jacobo Frunz
Very good place. The mild garlic cheese bread is AMAZING, especially when warmed in a microwave.
They once gave me free food to lure my family back; which worked, of course.
The many pictures on the wall are charming, and they have some interesting imported Italian and Greek food on some shelves.
It's right down the street from the Amtrak train station, and near the Durham Museum and thus the Old Market.
I really recommend going here.
Asit Misra
Loved their pizzas and garlic breads. Very authentic. The store owners are very friendly and it is a family owned business. You just don’t buy pizza here but also witness the history of Omaha. During my stay at Omaha I always bought pizza from them. Nice place and nice people.
David Morrison
I went here expecting very good pizza, and my expectations were blown away. This is by far, the best pizza I've ever had. The (I presume) owner quickly set up tables for me and my family to sit at and brought us cheese bread, which was delicious. When the pizza arrived, it arrived hot and fresh. It tasted absolutely delicious, and I've never had pizza so good. 10/10, will come here again.
Deb Donndelinger
It was a great experience! Staff very friendly , explained the menu well as we were visiting from out of state! Husband ordered a mini combo and loved it and I had a mini with my choice of ingredients and it was delicious! Will definitely be back! Gave us a free order of garlic bread as it was our first time ordering! If you are in Omaha go to Orsi’s, you will not be dissapointed!

My wife found Orsi's on Yelp. Being 6 hours from home we didn't know where to eat. Orsi's is disguised as a 100 year old bakery but what its actually the best pizza place you'll ever eat. you walk in to walls lines with pictures of sorts teams and family memories. You walk to the counter past wire shelves filled with fresh bread and a deli counter filled with Italian meats. The owner will greet you with a smile and ask if you're from the neighborhood. when you say no he'll tell you about the pizza. we had a 1/4 sheet combo and he threw in 4 slices of garlic toast. When it arrived... holy smokes what a pizza! It was stacked tall like thick crust but that crust was crispy on the outside without being hard and tough. filled with fresh meat like hamburger, pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and black olives in a homemade sauce covered with cheese. the garlic toast was the fresh baked Italian twist bread with a thick layer of cheese. simply the best pizza we've ever had hands down. The garlic toast was equally amazing. you can taste the history and love in the food. it isn't a restaurant but the owner popped open a folding table at a bench near the door and it was perfect. If you are in or anywhere near Omaha please do yourself a favor and go eat a pie as Orsi's Bakery.
Connor Gillis
Excellent pizzeria serving up good Italian pies on thick crust (think like a standard grocery store pizza, not deep dish). The sit down portion of their restaurant has closed during the pandemic, but there are two benches and folding tables that are set up near the drink cooler for customers to use to “eat in”. Otherwise this place is take out only. It’s popular so expect to wait after placing your order. Service isn’t the fastest.
neal harris
When you walk into the store, you first glance to the right and to the left to the faces of Omaha’s Italian or Sicilian members of long ago. What a treat to view history and get a glimpse of the past. Next I enjoy truly awesome meats from the deli case or the awesome bread and cheese . My next favorite is the Olive oil the Kalamata version is my goto.
Great people!!
Then it’s the pizza oh so good…!!!
Zac
Truly a gem in the Omaha area. If you want to support a local business and get a delicious handmade pizza, call ahead to Orsi’s. One of the best sheet pizzas I’ve ever had, and they have green olives! I will 100% be a returning customer.
Tarra Steele
Yes!! 100% the coolest place to get pizza in downtown, service was great pizza was well priced and perfect amount of spice sauce and cheese!! I got have Hawaiian band the Canadian bacon was the best Iv ever had!
Freddie W
Legendary pizza, and great deli meats. The prosciutto is delicious and more affordable than the grocery store. There's no dine in and you should definitely call ahead. Staff is top notch as well.
Grace Gugel
Delicious! The pizza is very unique with a nice thick crust and crumbled hamburger. The combo with black olives and hamburger and whatnot is also delicious. The employees are incredibly kind, too. It is a highlight of town.
Mike Van horn
Real authentic Italian bakery with pizza that was extremely good. Just know if you order a sheet of pizza it is like a sheet of cake as far as size. The sauce is amazing and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. I would say go in for the Cannolli and walk out with the pizza.
Roxanne Farmer
Best place ever! We ordered a double crust pizza. Outstanding. Orsi's nice Mr. Hall let us sample the cheese bread with sauce and we were hooked. It's the best thing I can remember eating... ever. Do yourself a favor and get over there. (See the little Italy sculpture around the corner. It's a giant fork in a plate of spaghetti.)
Tracy Kristensen
I love this vintage Italian bakery & deli, plus the best pizza in town. Usually go every week to pick up fresh bread. I stopped in to pick up dinner rolls for church function. Jim was extra helpful. THANK YOU for excellent bread!
Debbie B
Locals and travelers alike are treated like friends. Most people carry out but they set up a table for us and we ate fantastic pizza and met amazing people. Highly recommend!
Max Kalkowski
I adore walking into Orsi's. It might be a long drive out, but the pizza is worth it. The sheet pan style, loaded up with toppings or not, has such an incredible taste. I don't get it as much as I wish I did, but I would probably say it is Omaha's best pizza.
Laurie West
The combo pizza had the perfect “combination” of ingredients and spices and was worth the extra you’d pay over a bargain pizza from a national chain. Support local and enjoy the friendly owner who obviously loves his restaurant and wants customers to come back.
We shall return😊
Kurt Goetzinger
Amazing people, pasta, pizza, and more! An Omaha treasure!
Monika Hald
Been visiting here for years. My parents introduced me, and now I've introduced my daughter. It's truly my favorite all-time place to get pizza.
Patrick Papakee
perfect balance of homemade sauce, toppings. Definitely eat at this place cause you didn't even know this pizza was on your bucket list.
Dawn Wagner
Love this quaint little shop in Little Italy. We were at Lauritzen Gardens and had to stop here on our way back home for take out pizza. Hadn't been there for years!
Brittany Korver Krause
I didn’t realize this wasn’t really a sit-down place, but the owner pulled out tables in the front.
Very friendly and kind to us and my kids, and excellent service. Great pizza, cheesy bread, and cannolis for great price.
Lori Marcum
I was a little confused when I was asked if I wanted a chocolate or vanilla cannoli, but when it arrived, it became apparent why. The cannoli shell was delicious, but it was filled with vanilla pudding. Having grown up eating cannolis from Quincy market and elsewhere in Boston, this was a huge disappointment. I have a hard time understanding how a long-standing Itailian bakery is passing that off as a cannoli.
Pete Alba
Orsi's has been my favorite for pizza and garlic bread for over 65 years.
Driving from Lincoln to Omaha is worth the trip to Orsi's.
Jill Kreikemeier
What a wonderful, locally owned pizzeria and bakery. They were so kind and took good care of us. It is the best pizza I have ever had!!!
Everclearboy1
Excellent pizza, priced very well, can tell the cheese is made from scratch. Cheesy bread is also amazing, they have a half loave or full. Worth checking out as I always make a side trip for Orsi's!
Barbara Nesbit

We stopped on our way through town,, ordering ahead for takeout. Awesome pizza and even better garlic bread. We got a medium combo which was plenty for three of us. Enjoyed the photos and neighborhood.
Sheila Derrington
First time visitor & will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
Pizza was fantastic!
Garlic bread so yummy!
And we enjoyed browsing while the food was being prepared.
Allie Sebelius
This place has been around for 100 years and for good reason. Phenomenal pizza and even better staff. Very nice to Kansans driving through. Top 5 pizza experiences of my life.
Tambra McDowell
Poor guy was so busy, he looked incredibly tired however, full of spirit his service was awesome. I love his bakery and pizza.
Jason Brown
Excellent pizza with flavor that isn't like your average pizza joint--and that's a good thing! Fun quirky decor as well. Definitely worth a try.

Must stop if you’re in the area! Right near i80 so it’s perfect if you’re driving through. Super friendly place with quick service, homemade, delicious pizza with authentic Italian goodies! The family friendly atmosphere and workers really set this place apart.
Brett Kolling
Great food, great service. People were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back. Portion sizes were very generous and the pizza was amazing. As well as the cannolis. The service was possibly the best part of the experience however:)
Thomas Noye
Great pizza, great atmosphere. Didn't matter they were busy, they took time to talk to everyone!

Five stars are not enough for Orsi's. Stellar reviews led me here during a stop today on a road trip from NY. I'm so glad I stopped, because the pizza is delicious. Robust, tasty sauce, delicious dough... freshly, quickly baked! I'm guessing the owner waited on me. Really friendly guy who chatted me up and gifted some killer garlic bread and a loaf of freshly baked bread. I felt like a local, which was welcoming. The Italian grocery items, beverage options and deli offerings are ample and varied. Thank you for the kind service, top notch pizza and snacks!

Orsi’s Italian Bakery and Pizzeria… gosh, where to begin?
I’ve got to be frank to begin with. Me and my traveling companions were in Omaha on the second day of our three day stint in town, and we‘d had a hankering for some good, hearty Italian cuisine after the nightmares we experienced at Spaghetti Work’s in Downtown Omaha. We googled for local eateries in town, and settled on Orsi’s. We had expected a sit-down restaurant as per the listing on Google, but found that it was take-out service available. This would not detract from the overall experience, however it is worth noting.
Being that we were from out of town, we were pretty encumbered by the number of options available to us, the gentleman at the counter walked us through the ordering process, and did not try and up-sell us. He played it straight, and offered fantastic customer service.
Our food was estimated to take 15 minutes to be prepared, but 15 minutes flew by as we were able to entertain ourselves by browsing the bakery offerings, and the various photographs, awards and other assorted baubles that adorned the wall, highlighting and celebrating the bakery’s storied Italian-American heritage.
We ordered one pizza to serve the four of us, four cannoli, and a 2 liter bottle of Sierra Mist, but were pleasantly surprised to receive an extra eight pieces of garlic bread to boot. More of that fantastic customer service shining through.
We eventually found a nice neighborhood park right in the heart of Omaha’s Little Italy District where we sat down at a table and unpacked what we would find out to be some of the finest pizza we’d ever had. This was not like your usual take away. Your Pizza Huts and Dominoes and Little Caesars pale in comparison to the cacophony of flavors brought forth by Orsi’s delectable offerings.
For our dessert, we ordered four of their famous half and half cannoli, which were everything we expected and more, and which left us with a lasting impression of the words we’d heard upon the presentation of these Italian pastries… “four half and half’s for the Ichabods.”
All in all, we found Orsi’s to be a relatable and empathetic establishment, with real as much heart as it had character. Orsi’s, a place with roots in blue-collar Italian-Americana proved itself time and again, and the next time we’re Omaha’s way, I will be making a point of returning to Orsi’s.

The pizza is good, but it needs more sauce for my taste. The wait for the pizza was short, around 10=15 mins.
Jonathon Steinbeck
Omaha native, grew up on the other side of the town, so only came here for the first time a couple of days ago. The combo pizza was well-built even though it had mountains of toppings, and the flavor was great, and the pizza style unique. Apparently for first time patrons they'll comp you a bag of cookies. I had the ricotta cookies, they were so good! I went back the very next day. They made me a pizza even though usually they don't do them in the morning, so I could make my flight. Then they comped me a pop, while one of the guys chatted me up like I was his neighbor. This place treats you like family, and that feeling is even better than their pizza. Go to this place for great pizza and treats. You will not be disappointed.
FRONTIER Savings Bank
Great pizza with fresh dough. The spicy garlic bread is a must! They also have great gluten free pizza!
Mickey Reigger
Although we haven't sampled the pizza here yet,the deli has GREAT Italian sausage and even some artisan flour, with other gourmet selections.
Sarah Gajewski
What a gem! We're visiting Omaha for the first time and wanted to visit Orsi's it wasn't far from our hotel. The 2 guys we saw working we so kind and generous! A local also told us to get the half Loaf which was so good! I can't wait for our next visit to Omaha to come here again!
Galen Holdeman
Really nice Italian bakery! Great smells of pizza and bread! Owner was a super nice to us! Would give them a 10 star!
Jessica Riebkes Clough
Amazing pizza and biscotti, but the best part is incredible people who welcome you in and make this business exceptional. If you're looking for a local Omaha gem, this is the place.
Andre Hoyt
Wasted too many chances to experience Orsi's. Absolutely awesome and now my co-number 1 pizza place. The pizza was light but intense. A drive from Gretna seems a couple minutes away!!
Sarah Sue
The pizza was too good for me to pause long enough to take pictures! I've been to Italy and I've had legit pizza, I didn't expect to truly find that in Omaha on my roadtrip back from Denver. Jimmy was absolutely genuine, kind and a great conversationalist. I could see all the hard work and commitment he puts into the bakery. Definitely a pinned spot to visit again! Oh, you must try the cheeseburger pizza, how that meat tastes that good will remain a mystery.
Kirby Johnson
Best kept pizza secret in Omaha! It is well worth the drive, order your pizza half baked and finish at home. Delicious! You'll also find great types of cheese's, meats and other authentic foods. Great place with lots of history.
karen dedrickson
Toppings are excellent, but hardly any sauce on pizza the last three times we were there. Kind of a dry pizza, not as good as it used to be.
Richard Petyk
Very good pizza. Loved the surprisingly thin crust, burnt cheese, and tomato sauce.
G Z A
Excellent pizza, and you have to try the garlic bread!
Evelyn Rocha
Great service, amazing pizza, super friendly owner. He accommodated a spot for us to sit, treated us to garlic bread, and before we left gave our kids candy and some cookies for us to try and take.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
A true gem of a place!
Curtissha Johnson
One of the best pizzas in town. Feeds a lot of people.
Luigi Valentino
What a GREAT PIZZA! All the ingredients were Fresh! High Quality, REAL HAMBURGER! The COMBO is AMAZING!!!! Plus I took home a Few Loaves of Italian Bread! It’s been my Favorite for over 40 years!!! LOVE to toast it and Spread REAL BUTTER on it when it’s hot….PLUS it makes the absolute BEST GARLIC BREAD in the World!! THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! WE WILL BE BACK!
Nathan Frazier
Best pizza I've ever had in my life!! I visited this restaurant while in Omaha, Nebraska, and I'm so glad we did!! It was delicious! Highly recommended you eat at this restaurant if you're in the area!
Co Hi
The food is amazing!! The owner is friendly and helped me pick my pizza. He also let me sample a cheese bread!!
I highly suggest visiting!
Austin Hamilton
One of the best experiences I have ever had! Visited from Sioux Falls to visit because of the Google reviews and was completely blown away with the service and the food! You have to check this place out!
Duncan Shannon
Stop searching. Just go.
One of the best overall dining experiences I've had in a long time. Jim, the owner, is extremely friendly and kind. Pizza. Deli meat. Bread. Ricotta cookies (you must get the cookies). Mostly a takeout kind of place. Seriously awesome.
Bhoodha S
Should not be missed for any reason.
Food, atmosphere, groceries, food.
It isn't just great pizza.
I think I've said enough.
Michael Moon
100+ year old bakery in the Little Italy section of Omaha. We went in to check out the baked goods but were surprised to find pizza and deli meats and cheeses can also be bought. We were slightly disappointed in the lack of variety of the baked goods, but then again we came late in the afternoon many things may have been sold out. I'm sure they bake fresh everyday. The cannoli was fantastic.
Payton Rockwell
So great. Best pizza in omaha hands down, and the people there are amazing!
Cody Smith
My co-worker said this was one of the best pizza joints in Omaha, and they're right. I recommend the half sheet if you're looking to serve around 2-3 really hungry people 🍕 …
Sideways Sheriff
Wonderful food and even better people working. The owners let us stay after closing while we waited for the Amtrak train a short walk away.
Jean Cappellano
All your needs pizza , bread, deli meats , Italian products, & the new Little Italy Mural is awesome
Jolene Gervais
Absolutely wonderful family owned business. The owner is a wonderful person. I first tried there food a few years ago while visiting Omaha. I was rushing to another restaurant after, but the manager stopped me and told the delivery driver to take me to the second restaurant (not affiliated with Orsi's). They give you free cheesy bread when you're a new customer. I really love their pizza, their Gounarooni and their staff.
Keaton Lawson
Has gluten free options. Very good service and food. Staff and owner were nice. Will come again.
Anjali Jones
This place was perfectly meh. The sauce was flavorful, which I loved, but the dough was just too thick and was slightly undercooked. Every online ordering system they utilize doesn’t work right (from Yelp to DoorDash to GrubHub). There’s not a way to order ingredients except on Grubhub, where I could not order something smaller than this HUGE pizza.
Also, DON’T get the chocolate cannoli. The crust was okay but the filling was literally chocolate pudding with a slightly sour taste. Makes me want to find a good cannoli just to correct the memory.
Caleb Gabauer
We visited from Kansas City and the owner couldn't have been more accommodating! We ordered a half sheet of some of honestly the BEST pizza I have ever had. We got a custom pizza of pepperoni, jalapeno and cream cheese and it was beyond incredible. Truly. He threw in some extra goodies and let me tell you their fresh baked bread is insanely awesome. Even if I didn't have family living in Omaha I'd still make the trip monthly just to eat here and enjoy the banter with the owner and staff. If I could give 10 stars I would. If you're living in Omaha or passing through this is a MUST. Side note, you know it's a good place when the regulars are talking to us as total strangers...like they knew us their entire lives and when we said it was our first time they lit up and recommended all these things we had no idea about. Just a brilliant experience overall and we'll be back MUCH sooner rather than later. Thank you to everyone at Orsi's for absolutely crushing it! 💯💯💯
Tynisa Griddine
Staff was very welcoming when we come in. We ordered a custom pizza. The pizza was very authentic, it was so delicious.🤤 Every bite exploded with flavor and taste all the way down to each ingredient on the pizza. 😋 …

This is some of the best, if not the best pizza I’ve ever had. I got the 1/2 sheet with Italian sausage, green peppers and mushrooms. Delicious! I’ve had pizza all over the country and I’m very impressed with Orsi’s.
Kevin Freeman
Had an issue with the order but it was made right. I really appreciate how the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I knew they were a classy establishment. The older gentleman cashier reduced the price of my order to immediately rectify the mistake even though he ended up with extra pizzas. I apologize for that. In addition, the older gentleman cashier recognized my sisters and gave a coupon to give to me for the mistake. I was elated! My sisters were right to love this place...now, so do I. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Ali Kropf
This is absolutely the BEST pizza in Omaha!! There's also a small grocery store inside the bakery, where they have different pastas, sweet treats, and other rarities. You have to try Orsi's pizza!! They have stayed in business for over 100 years for a GREAT reason!!
Jane Yaffe
I stopped in to buy bread and other goodies. It was a busy day with Santa Lucia going on but everything I wanted was readily available. Thr line moved efficiently, as as always, the staff make me feel welcome.
Victoria Garcia
I feel like Jim and his staff are always next level but I wanted to give a review on what is one of their busiest days because honestly that is what separates the novice from the pros. So here we are, Christmas Eve and we've just had weather so some people are just getting out for the first time in days. I knew coming down the hill they were packed but still found a parking spot easily. I walked in and the line was to the door and on a bend, candy cane style which is totally expected when you have the best Italian baked goods, meats and treats in the area. I got in line, I could see that they still had the french bread I came for and shopped the shelves until I got to the front of the line. I don't think I was there a half an hour but I knew it could have been longer because they're breads and pizzas are exceptional and that is the quality the regular customers have come to expect and Jim and his crew NEVER disappoint. You're probably thinking this is less of a revue and more of a love letter and you wouldn't be wrong. Thank you Jim and staff and their well oiled machine for weathering the storms through Covid and short staffing, through supply shortages and illnesses and exhaustion and funky weather. The city of Omaha is indebted to you and your gifts that make our family gatherings memorable, flavorful and a lot less stressful (for us).
Jeff Bear
Authentic Italian pizza and fun little bakery/market. Very clean, fast and friendly help. LOVED it!!
Carol ODonald
Absolutely the best pizza, it is homemade and delicious. Family owned, support local!
Tracey Woolridge
When will this place have a sleep over and how much for unlimited pizza. Place is wonderful. Looking to try the rest of the menu!
Alissa Gregory
Hands down the most delicious pizza, fresh bread and incredible service every time! Love getting food here. They are very welcoming, friendly, and make you feel like you're old friends even if it's your first time. I just adore Orsi's.
Carolyn Nelson
What a great experience at this bakery. We will definitely order again soon!

Best pizza hands down. The owner always treats me like family and is very friendly.
Tom Blessie
The pizza is incredible. Had to get a couple loaves of tear away bread too on my last visit. My parents have been going here forever and on my last trip back it brought back all kinds of nostalgia
Lorraine and Chris Hull
Calling All Foodies! (Yes, you.) You absolutely must visit this wonderful Italian bakery and store. (I can't even begin to describe the flavors and culture that await you) After that, tour the historic neighborhood. I believe that this will be on your list of places to visit for any future Omaha trips.
J J
This place has a genuine Italian feel! The homemade bread and meats and cheeses are wonderful. The service was unbeatable and they will steer you in the right direction if you need help or have questions. Can’t speak to the pizza yet, but we will 100% be back!
Mike Cavalieri
As always, a great stop on the way back to west Omaha. Easily the best Italian bread in town, and a good source for various noodles. If the loaves were bigger, we would have more bread left after the drive home...it is so good you can eat it plain right out of the bag.
Paul Register
Such a remarkably friendly neighborhood environment. Great food. First-timer, and was treated like royalty.
Tavi
Always a pleasure! Delicious pizza every time with the amazing Orsi flavor.
Tyler Marlowe
Our experience was excellent!
I can’t remember the man’s name who helped us but I’ll get it next time because we will be back.
The service was excellent; he even put up a table for us and threw in a few extras. The pizza was also excellent! The combo could feed an army and the Hawaiian was great. Everyone loved it.
I would say that the full sheet would feed 8-10 adults and the half 5-7, unless those adults are extremely hungry and active. We didn’t mind having so many leftovers but it would be nice to somehow have a 3/4 sheet option.
Excellent experience at what felt like a small town bakery right here in Omaha!
Andrew Jenkins
On a getaway we went looking for a"local experience". Orsi's was worth our entire trip! The food is authentic and fantastic. There is a *constant* stream of locals picking up orders.
The best part was the staff. So welcoming that I wish I were part Italian. We will be back!
Trisha
Best ingredients, better than home cooking. I feel like it's takes me across waters right where the Tuscany sub keys the sunset over sea breezes and aged wine. So when I bite into a perfectly placed hand made portions of every menu item I've ever tried, yes They have it . Tboldness, bake it like they mean it , one of a kind, last off the last left, here they are little Italy and the history here stands. All of us grew up here stand behind THEM. They stand behind truth history and more. Thanks for making tomorrows pizza too. Here in little Italy. À
Todd Shackelford
Neighborly. Like when you have the nicest neighbors. Old school bakery that takes you back in time, best cannolis in Omaha, classic Italian pizza. Don't let a neighborhood on the rebound scare you. You are gonna feel like you belong right away.
Nate Allen
If you dont know about it your missing out on life! Great pizza
Loren Hins
This restaurant has the greatest, legit pizza, with legit Italian products.
Robert Kalinowski
Great deli and pizza place with friendly helpful staff. totally recommended!
Morgan Harmelink
Absolutely amazing pizza, delicious cannolis, and it was such a great visit. They were beyond kind to our kids and split our pizza into thirds so everyone could get the toppings they wanted on one pizza. 10/10 I’d recommend to anyone in their area
Aimee Burkhart
We are traveling with our kids and needed good food that we could take back to the hotel room. We decided on pizza and found this nearby. I can’t say how impressed I was 1) with the service 2) with the food. From the moment we entered the door it was A+. We were greeted with a friendly smile and treated like family. So refreshing.
The food was delicious! Our kids loved the pepperoni.
Highly recommend.
Julie Neish
What a great place! The pizza was yummy! It's a thicker, but great textured and lighter crust. The pizza sauce had great flavor--in addition to great tomato flavor I loved the garlic and herbs that gave it dimension. The cheese blend was delicious. The cheesy garlic bread they gave us to bake at home was my hubby's FAVORITE. He can't wait to get some more! The service was fantastic. If you're in the mood for a little bit thicker crust pizza crafted with history and love, this is the pizza place for you! We also enjoyed the little market where we got some imported canned goods, fresh baked bread, and imported salami.

Super genuine and nice people, felt like family
Gary Kim
I rarely review but this place deserves the love. Got a full sheet pizza for 7 people and was more than enough food. Also, it was really good! I’m traveling from NJ and this would be my go-to pizza place if it was near me. Plus they were super friendly and threw in a few extra goodies for the kids.
S. Smith
1st time pizza tryer. I loved it.
Deborah Wilson
We come from Lincoln to get their provolone and always end up getting some sausage or cold cuts because everything is so good. Their pizza and is amazing and you can get dough if you want to diy at home.
Jamelle Moye
Was in Nebraska visiting as I'm from NC. Pizza was pretty good. If I'm in the area would def stop by and try something different.
Jennifer Rouse
Sooooo good! A local recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Pizza and cheese bread were amazing, and the gentleman behind the counter was super nice. Oh, and pizzelles!!! Will come back!
kris collins
Flew in from Virginia to look at apartments, we had never been to omaha before, store owner was friendly, personable, and kind. Pizza was delicious. Will come back and try the other menu offerings and the imported Italian grocery in the future.
Haylie Deitchler
Great place! We called in our order and it was ready right on time. The pizza and garlic bread were good but even better was the service. I assume it was the owner but he gave us a complimentary loaf of their bread and was the friendliest man. We were from out of town but could tell this small local business genuinely cares about their customers.
Erma Antwine
I was in town from Kansas City on job related work. I love pizza so after reading reviews I had to visit. The man that waited on me was very friendly. I ordered a mini pizza and he gave me some cheese bread because it was my first time coming there. I enjoyed the pizza. The size was more than enough and the toppings were generous. I was impressed that they have been in business for 100 years. I recommend eating here.
Itasca Greenhouse
Pizza and bread was delicious. The is very welcoming and generous with his hospitality.
S L
After reading so many amazing reviews, we couldn’t wait to try this place, even if it meant a 30 min drive across town and paying more than we usually would for pizza. The service was outstanding, fast and friendly, but the pizza left much to be desired. It needed more sauce and more seasoning. Overall it was pretty bland, even with all of the meat. The crust was basic, I think adding a little butter and garlic would even step it up a notch. We might give it another try if in the neighborhood, but sadly we were pretty underwhelmed.
Kathy Herman
I've been looking for some delicious canolis, found this place while in Omaha. Canalis were filled with pudding, so that was a bit disappointing but the visit was worthwhile. My next trip I will try their pizza. It smells amazing in this little shop. The guy who took our cannoli order was charming and very generous. He told us up front that cannolis were pudding filled, but still delicious. I will be back!
Tony Buccheri
Excellent bakery and deli items, and selection of Italian goods. Their pizza, cheese bread, goodarooni, baguettes/rolls/loaves of bread are the best you'll find in town. Orsi's is a staple in Omaha and a big part of the city's history in Little Italy. Definitely worth the trip!
A B
Best old school pizza place and bakery in Omaha. The pizza is awesome. The garlic cheese bread is amazing... Especially if you have them add pepperoni.
C
Great Italian food in Little Italy. I live in this neighborhood and wish there were more places like this. Support this business so we don't lose anymore great Italian restaurants!
Everyone here is always so kind and great to talk to.
T T
Freshness magicians, I say the matriculous placed ingredients, to thee very combination of in store items like cheeses, sauces, breads, pasta, so on, and all with the best suggestions from the OG pros of Little Italy! It is the must -go- to ,if in Omaha, and if you don't stop here while in south O, it's just disrespect, so don't miss out on the best food decision of your life! Officially deemed savior of my palate. Thanks for being the top of the chain!
Joseph Kenney
This is Omaha. Old school pizza with great sauce. Nothing fancy, just a fastball down the middle. Jumbo sized pizzas that can feed an army.
Jodie Lavigne
Awesome find on our vacation to Omaha! The staff went way beyond to make our visit the most memorable. Oh, and the pizza was the best I've EVER had.
Emily Kenna
My husband and I stopped here for lunch, the pizza and cheese garlic bread was all amazing!! High quality meal, would definitely recommend. He set up a table for us to sit and eat our lunch inside. We will definitely be back!!
andrew lovell
Best kept omaha secret amazing pizza
Joe Noga
This is one of the hidden gems of Omaha! They have just about everything one would expect from an Italian bakery in Newark including bread, sandwiches, cheese, pizza, canolli, Torroni, and everything else!
If you're familiar with what a real Italian bakery is you won't be disappointed, if you aren't familiar with what a real Italian bakery is you will be delighted!
Brian Splichal
Best pizza I've ever had.
marilou Brown
This place is amazing! The pizza is delicious and the owner gave us free garlic bread, cannolli and cookies. While we waited for our pizza, we got a history lesson. Go to Orsi's!
Jake W
Hands down the best pizza in Omaha. If your not from Omaha, you need to try it. It's a Great Italian bakery. In the heart of little Italy 🇮🇹.
Megan Peacock
Love..love ..love this place. First off the atosmosphere is over the top friendly. The customers ARE ALWAYS nice and easy to chat with. Second the food is amazing! Last but not least Jim. Wonderful man! Need I say more...... My hubby introduced me to this hidden gem and it never dissapoints.
Nathan Chandler
It's so difficult to strike the right balance when you make a thicker crust but they've perfected it here. Can't recommend it enough.
Chantelle Imhoff
I absolutely love coming here, so much so that I travel from Oklahoma to Nebraska for their bread. In addition to being a phenomenal bakery, they also make pizzas that are to die for. They are big enough to feed 7 people and still have leftovers.
Anytime my family comes in, they are always treated kindly. My mother has mobility issues, and they always offer to help her back to her vehicle. I cannot recommend this bakery enough.
Kelsea Swenson
Such a great environment! Service was fantastic, very friendly. We loved the pizza. Order the half sheet for 3 adults and had alot left over. The pizza sauce was fantastic, full of flavor! We are from south Dakota, we will most definitely be coming back here every time we travel and telling everyone about it! Thankyou for the great experience
Mrs H.
Orsis has amazing Pizza! Authentic Italian style! Great customer service! Their Italian bread is a must have! Treat yourself!
Ryan Schaefer
Everything about Orsi's is amazing, yet not expected, so have an adventurous spirit. The owner is such a fantastic person and is looking for any way to make his patrons happy and fulfilled. He automatically discounts for buying in volume without the customer asking and it is well beyond any other competitors. By God's blessing I happened to chose this place based from Trip Advisor rating as I was meeting Family members who live in Omaha and were having trouble deciding on a location. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Several children and adults, some of our party were picky eaters, ate to beyond full and we had plentiful leftovers to take with us. Everything is priced fairly and reasonably with large portions. Again, the owner really just wants to find ways to satisfy his customers wants and needs, which is truly hard to find anymore!
Volha Siarheichyk
This place is such a gem! I'm really glad to say that all five star reviews are 100% true. The garlic bread and pizza were delicious! We also bought cheese and sweets to take out, everything was yummy. But what I loved the most is how welcoming the gentleman behind the counter was. We chatted quite a bit and it felt like we were home. Such a warm and welcoming place, definitely recommend to stop by if you are in Omaha!
Donna Talbott
Amazing experience. Extremely accommodating staff, excellent pizza. Very friendly. Our accidental discovery was memorable and tasty. There is no dining room, but they set up a table for our group. Some Italian breads and grocery items inside. Loved it!
Tucker Duffield
Just moved out here from the west coast and stopped in for a pizza today, easily some of the best if not the best pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Aaron Hambright
Orsi's is my favorite pizza place and bakery in Omaha right now. They have more to offer like imported pasta, cookies, local jams and jellies, and so forth. They are very welcoming and friendly establishment, something that is very rare to experience in today's America.
Today I bought two breads; a pumpernickel and a marble, very good bread at the best price you can find in town. I have in the past had their pizza and it is my favorite. They don't call it a deep dish, but it is pretty thick and definitely worth your time and money to go out and pick it up. One pie will make your night.
David Garrick
Amazing Pizza that has a real home made taste! You can taste the freshness of ingredients used. Found my new favorite place for pizza 🍕
Kayla Dixon
Best pizza in Omaha! Love the food and atmosphere. They treat you like family every time you visit. Highly recommend!
Eric Bartels
Enjoyed one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I will definitely be stopping to pick up a pie every time I'm in Omaha.
Jacob Gustafson
Pizza was average at best. Sauce and topping were good but the crust was not good tasted a lot like a frozen pizza with all the high rating I expected more I would go back but would do something other than pizza
Steve Bahl
Finding the old tough crust bread was like coming home.....so many memories of breakfast talks and great dinners with it present....and then it was gone. Found the rolls from time to time at restaurants but not in stores. We located the bakery because of a planned get together with some of the UNO baseball players that originally stayed across the street. Spent a bit of time talking with Mr. Hall, the front person at that time. We talked of great restaurants lost to time and the evolution of the bakery, sausage making and such while we waited for out pizza.....good pizza which had a medium firm crust with a spicy sauce. Thanks for being there....Steve

My boyfriend and I have never tried Orsis before today and I am sad we didn’t sooner! Going inside was awesome with all the different things they sell. The pizza was cheesy with just the right amount of toppings; plus it all tasted fresh. The owner was even kind enough to let us try the cheese bread which was also super yummy! 10/10 would recommend going! Next time I’ll have to try some Capicola!
JEFF PETERS
Great freshly baked breads and rolls. There pizza is good too. They also have some Italian meats, imported Italian pastas and of there goods. It has been a neighborhood fixture for a century.
Jon Donym
We are passing through from Chicago, and at the risk of sounding pretentious I will say we know good pizza. This is damn good authentic pizza! Even though we called in an order 30 mins before close they were beyond polite and even gave us some free bread to try!! Seriously top notch, we will make a point to stop here every time we pass through.
Amy Custer
Some of the best pizza we've had, as good as it gets. We got Italian sausage, black olives, and pineapple pizza. I would order in advance as there was a line to wait.
jennifer kozak
One of my favorite places for pizza! Their cheese garlic bread is hands down the best I've ever had!! They always greet you with a smile and treat you like family! When my brother and I were little, they brought us into the back and showed us how they make everything. The sweetest man gave us each a mini pizza fresh out of the oven. That was back in the late 80's-very early 90's. I've loved going there ever since! Try them....you won't regret it!!!
Kait Thomas
My immediate family of 7 loves this place. We always get a sheet pizza to celebrate events and there is never a piece left over. The staff are helpful and pleasant! I also love the various bakery items that are available for purchase. Hidden away in Little Italy, but definitely worth the drive from wherever you are located.
Skylar Versteeg
Great bang for buck! Delicious pizza! You will not be disappointed! The 1/2 Sheet is still quite a lot for 3-4 people that love to eat food! Square slices are about 3"x3" giving you about 12 slices in a 1/2 Sheet.
Grant Gale
Delicious food and terrific service. The owner was so gracious to the out of towners.
Ray Tapper IV
Quickly helped out-of-towners find the perfect pizza and toppings for 3 individuals with varying taste buds. The great staff helped us get an amazing pizza and cheese bread. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.
Jeff Yates
The pizza was awesome! Worth the drive from nw Omaha.
Joel Kubik
WOW is all I can say. My wife and I had the half sheet of combo pizza today for the first time and all we could do is just stare and keep eating. This was hands down the BEST DAM PIZZA we have ever had.
My family eats a lot of pizza all over the country and this took it all for the best.
Bring your appetite for this pizza because it very hearty and full of toppings. The toppings we cut small with the wonderful homemade sauce. It had all fresh ingredients on it as far as we could tell. This is a true staple of Omahas little Italy. You have to go and try this place. I would give this 11 stars if I could.
Cory Phephles
Best pizza around! Everything hand made to order and delicious! Also you can get freshly made bread and meets and cheeses cut fresh togo as well!
sam chandler
So tasty and reminds me of being a young girl. My grandfather would go every Sunday after church and get a Loaf if bread. Brings back good memories. Love the cheeses and meats. Can't wait to try the pizza next time. If you haven't tried it you should
Brittany Wilson
The pizza is delicious and their Ricotta cookies are INCREDIBLE. The staff were also very quick, while still being friendly and warm. I will definitely be returning.
Nick Taylor
Hands down best pizza I've ever had. Counter guy is great and very attentive. This is a REAL itialan bakery! They also carry many other things I cannot get in Omaha. If I could give this place 6* I would!
Erik Schiemann
Tied for the best pizza that I've ever had in my life, which is true Chicago deep dish. Orsi's pizza is incredibly fresh with flavorful sauce, rich stringy cheese and delicious toppings! Got sausage and black olive and you could hear the little squeak when biting into the olives, a sign of plump and fresh olives. I was in Nebraska for just two days for business and had to make a second stop here for lunch on the way out! Definitely worth a visit, they've earned a regular in me for whenever I'm in town!
Diana Johnson
This place is absolutely amazing. Let me tell you, I have never experienced such wonderful costumer service in my life! The man asked us about our day, where we were from, and when he found out my group and I were tourists to Omaha, he was such a sweetie!! 1000/10 I recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I'm also gluten free and they have those crusts available too!! Awesome overall and great food!!!
Luke Benton
Very amazing pizza with great tasting bakery items as well. Will definitely be back and the staff is decently friendly. Love all the bakery items that are available as well and the Italian twist bread is outstanding. But there's very little seating, so if you plan to eat in, make sure you have a backup plan if the couple of tables are already full. But overall a great experience
Sergio Rios
A couple of weeks ago I met the owner of this famous Bakery while at work. I'm a worker for the City of Omaha street department. As I was pushing and clearing snow around this establishment, the owner was kind enough to offer some of the Best an most delicious pizza in town. He insisted to the point I couldn't refuse. On behalf of District 1 street maintenance, we thank Orsi's Bakery for that delicious pizza we had for dinner, but also thank you Sir for the kind and grateful words you said to me about the great effort we do and be sure we will keep on doing the best that we can to keep Omaha clean during the winter season. BEST PIZZA IN OMAHA!!!
M R
WHAT A GEM!
I am so happy I found this place! You can't say anything bad about it! Not your traditional sit down pizza place but let me tell you.. The pizza was the best I've ever had! Completely home made and fresh right out of the oven! The garlic cheese bread was perfect! I loved that there was mug root beer to drink! Got to meat the owner and he just as special as this place is! I will definitely be back!
Marge Daniels
Best pizza 🍕 love their breads ❤️
karen bautista ramos
I was absolutley just touched by the way they treat customers here. Ive gone in three times since moving to Omaha and let me just say they always treat you with the most biggest smile and the greatest greetings! Went i. For the 3rd time to buy dinner rolls for my home cooked dinner and my 3 yr old wanted pizza I said next time and the owner gave us a free mini pizza for my son and a sucker. They are the best and everything they make here is delicious!!
Diane Perkins
Absolutely love this place. I always get the same thing hamburger pizza oh, and it has been a long time since I've been there. The pizza was great, like it always was. We even got some cheesy bread thrown in for free, who can resist that? Certainly not me thank you again
Kimberly McGuire
We cannot say enough good things about Orsi's. The pizza is excellent and the customer service is out of this world! Be sure to pick up some cookies and fresh bread-you can thank me later!
Gary Myers
BEST pizza I have ever had!! Wonderful crust great flavor lots of ingredients to select from. Also a great staff. They also have a wonderful deli selection and cookies!! If you are in Omaha and don't go here you are a fool.
Alex Garcia
Was adventuring out to Little Italy, been wanting to check out Orsi's and regretted not doing it sooner. Fresh Italian treats and exceptional pizza. Joe took great care of us and left us hungry for more. We'll be back!!
Marc Copeland (Marc)
Amazing pizza, I travel all over the country for work and this is one of the top 3 pizza restaurants I have ever eaten. Half sheet combo is absolutely Devine. Not greasy, meats taste amazing and perfect balance of sauce, cheese and dough. 10/10 expierance.
Russell Gartner
This is THE example of why you should support small business! Such a pleasant experience coming through town and stumbling upon this. Great tradition, great people, great food!
MsKlisa L
Amazing pizza! We were in town for a concert from Kansas City and wanted pizza before the concert. Delicious as advertised!!!!! Can’t wait to visit again the next time we visit Omaha!
joe stock
This one of our families favorite pizzas in town. Pick up a huge pizza and some hot bread if you like a little heat with your cheese bread. The owner is so friendly and loves to chat. This in my opinion is one of the gems the makes Omaha unique and wonderful.
eric turner
Owner was so incredibly gracious and inviting! Our family had been walking ALL over downtown on a hot, muggy day and stopped in to take a look and to cool off. The owner gave us a complimentary order of garlic cheese bread, and gave our little one juice, cookies, and fruit snacks for no charge! The man would not take any money at all, so I had negotiate with him just to take $5. He then threw in some cookies and bread for the road home on the house. What an amazing place, and I saw firsthand how gracious he was with his other regular customers as well, giving free extras and larger sides for no charge. You don't see this kind of service anymore, so I was shocked and had to write a review (never write any reviews)! Please go there as often as you can to help support this great establishment, especially in these difficult times for small businesses. He definitely made our day and our trip a memorable one!
Todd Graves
Great, old school Italian bakery with great pizza.
Spencer Richards
This place is a hidden treasure. We live pretty far from Omaha, but were visiting and decided to try this place out. They are a bakery and serve amazing pizza. If you want to sit down, they have a table by one of the benches. The owner mentioned they have plans to expand part of the building into a dining area. We got two pizzas and thought they were terrific. We will definitely be back.
Dayton Greek
Very nice staff, menu is straightforward when you get in there and ordered.
We got a half sheet pizza with pepperoni and ham it was fantastic! For being first time customers you also get a special gift of free garlic bread.
The everything was just great!
Good job to the staff and owners keep up the great work!
Danny Aydelott
When we come through Omaha we always stop here and pick up a pizza to take back to Yankton South Dakota with us. Staff is very helpful friendly and the pizza is excellent.
Jason Jensen
Always great pizza for a great price! Great family amazing food!
Jay
Best pizza in Omaha There is nothing that comes close to them with over a hundred years of baking experience and cooking authentic Italian food definitely my favorite restaurant and bakery.
Sal Frenda
Amazing, authentic Italian food. The Guddarooni is just like I used to eat as a child in Sicily.
Tawnya Ybarra
Decided on Orsi's for dinner while traveling. With the schedule my family keeps, we eat pizza ALOT. Orsi's pizza was hands down the absolute best pizza we've ever had! Not to mention, the owner has exceptional customer service! My kids decided we will make a special trip back to Omaha just to visit Orsi's! We are taking some amazing goodies back to Kansas with us, Thank you for making our trip extra special!
Paula Culberton
While visiting Nebraska with family, we decided to grab pizza at Orsi's after seeing the fabulous reviews. What a great decision that was! We ordered a large combo for the adults and a small pepperoni for the kiddo. The owner (I'm assuming, as I doubt any other employee would have done this) gave us the small pizza for FREE since we were going to have to wait for it - say what? Of course we were going to have to wait - we'd just walked in off the street to order. He also included a huge order of garlic cheese bread (don't know if this is standard) and gave the kiddo a lollipop. The pizza was fantastic - super flavorful (fantastic sauce!) and obviously used quality ingredients, the cheese bread was just gooey enough with a slight crunch on the edges but soft on the inside. We couldn't finish the meal, but were headed to my in-laws in Seward for a few nights just afterward, so took it along and the family devoured it. We also picked up a little bag of orange cookies. I could have eaten the whole bag, they were so good. Not super sweet and they stuck to your teeth a little, but the orange flavor was amazing - just opening the bag and having the smell waft out was enough to have you salivating. They were fantastic with a cup of tea. We don't make it back to Nebraska often, but I guarantee we will revisit this little gem.
There's very (very) limited seating - just a couple of small tables with some recycled church pews as seats, so plan to take your pie to go. They'll provide plates and napkins, if needed. :)
Daniel Gruber
Jeff was wonderful. He made us feel like family. The fresh breads are magnificent. We picked up a large jar of superb capers.
Landon Orsi
The pizza is out of this world, and they have a wide selection of baked goods. Kid friendly and best pizza ever.
Wade Kapanke
This is an amazing Bakery and Pizzeria. We stopped in on our trip to Omaha and ordered a pizza. The gentleman who helped me set up a table so my family could eat right there. The pizza that we ordered was hands down one of the best pizza's I've had. As someone coming from Wisconsin, I think we have some of the best pizza around but this was just as good. The service was hands down the best we have received in a long time. Thanks Orsi's!
Matt foreman
I don't normally write reviews but I have to on this one. My wife and I went there for the first time yesterday because of the reviews and we took our 2 youngest children of ages 5 and 6. I can not do this justice. Wonderful customer service! Building is different but it is the most comforting atmosphere. Ok... pizza, there are no words to describe the mouth party. The crust is perfect, the sauce is simmered for a minimum of 8 hours, the meat is so flavorful and perfectly textured. Cheese is moist but not at all greasy. As I write this I know I am never going to find the right words. GO THERE!!! It will be perfect! You decide, then try to write a review and see if you can come close... there aren't words.
ahm 25
You have to stop here when you're in the area. Fresh baked bread, they make their own pizza crust and sauce. I don't normally care for thicker crust pizza but theirs is excellent! Service was great. A throwback to the days of old when your neighborhood grocer knew you and took care of you. Note that this is a deli, not a restaurant. But they will put up a table for you if you want to eat it there. We took some bread and cheese back home with us and will definitely return.
elroding74
Stopped at Orsi’s Italian Grocery and Bakery for the first time just out of curiosity. Came home with a wonderful assortment of homemade cookies, breads and sausage. Lots of cheeses, olives and pastas are also available. Already planning to order a hot pizza delivered soon.
If for no other reason, you need to stop by and meet Jim, the owner. What a friendly baker!
(**Ask him about his favorite bread for French toast)
Oliver Black
Amazing food! For 5 people the half sheet works perfectly. We had pepperoni and then another pizza with sausage and onions. The bread is the highlight with the herbs they add coming in second. A nice plus is that this wasn't a greasy pizza, it was nice not to have to dab a napkin on it. Can't skip this place!
Katie Zemon
You can immediately smell the aroma of freshly backed pizza as soon as you step in the door. Order to go or eat inside. Pizza was done in under 15 minutes. Ingredients were fresh and pizza tasted great. I thought the price was cheap relative to the quality of product.
Michael Knapp
It was totally awesome it felt like I was a little Italy after $100 later but very well worth it would do it again and again
Gregg Bailey
We miss Orsi’s so much. We loved going over to pick up the delicious pizza on a Friday or Saturday night and visiting with the nice folks there.
Lived In Omaha Old Market for a couple of years working on a project and back in Denver now.
Orsi’s is special!
Breanna Jones
Best pizza I have ever had. For being a brand new customer they gave me free cheese bread. I couldn't wait to get home to try the cheese bread. My husband, and I try to go to mom and pop owned restaurants not just for the best experience, but also the way the food has a unique taste. Orsis has become #1 pizza place even over mama's pizza.
Jason Schlotman
Great bread and amazing spicy capicola. Pizza is delicious! Service is excellent! We stop every time we're in town and miss it when we're back home.
David Henriksen
Great bread smell as you walk in. Old school, like an early 20th century establishment.
Dee Lubunyz
Like any out of towner I didn't know quite what to expect when I walked in. All I knew was I read about their delicious pizza, and I wanted some. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. We are traveling from Florida, and this was on my list of places not to miss. I'm glad I didn't miss it. The pizza was amazing, and very filing. The garlic cheese bread is very tasty, and we even have a loaf of bread to make sandwiches with, or eat with spaghetti. I'm very excited about it. If I lived local I would get my pizza here all the time. The jewel of Omaha for sure!
Amos C
So friendly and generous. It is more designed for carryout than eating in, but the owner immediately helped us get settled and made us feel comfortable.
Nicole Davis
Excellent pizza and garlic bread. This was our first time here from out of town. Very nice guy (owner), gave us free garlic bread and cookies because it was our first time. Also we was going to order 2 mediums but he suggested a half sheet 1/2 and 1/2 saved us money not him. Didn't have to tell us, very honest guy, small local business. Everyone should try if in Omaha.
Joseph McCain
Great Place to order pizza and take it home. You can definitely feel the home atmosphere and perfect customer interactions. They will help you get a table if you are out of town. Best Pizza in Omaha for several years.
Michael Kennedy
This pizza was pretty good. But what made it better was the way I was treated when I picked up my food. The bakery smells fantastic and it was a very friendly place. Ask them about their story if you want fun time.
Mark S.
One of the best experiences I've ever had in all my travels. Quaint little place with very limited seating but customer service above and beyond. Genuinely proud of what they do and how they do it. Everything we had was top notch and faultless. If you're in town and are looking for pizza or homemade bread or deli meat, give this place a look. You won't be disappointed.
guetenmorgan
Bought some bread, cookies and meats. All were wonderful. Going back for some pizza soon.
George Keele
Excellent experience. - Without a doubt in my mind they have the best pizza in Omaha. The pizza's are the size of a full sheet cake. They are fast, friendly sell more than just pizza. Its hard to order from anyone else after having theirs
Will K.
A true staple of Omaha’s little Italy community, always excellent pizza and service. You can “taste the love” that is placed into the food here. Also don’t forget the bread, you have to get a loaf when you’re there!
Mike Vanatta
Fantastic pizza. Definitely worth seeking out.
Ian Walsh
This place is incredible. Went here on a whim to pick up a loaf of bread, and ended up walking out with no less than 2 loaves of bread, a bag of hoagie rolls, and a pound of italian sausage. All which were given to me after I bought my one loaf. A rare glimpse at a business that actually cares about it's customers and neighborhood. I will be making sure to stop back next time I'm in Omaha.
Steve Van Hoosen (Van Hoosen Video)
First time visitor, most certainly wont be the last! Brought home some freshly sliced Italian meats, Italian sausage, pasta and bread. We'll be ordering pizza next time as the place was slinging alot of pie. Very nice gentleman at the counter walked a couple rookies through the process.
Kasey Blake
Extremely friendly environment, made us feel at home while visiting a new place. Went out of their way to help make an amazing experience for a family with 4 young and hangry kids. Food tasted great and was well worth the visit!
Krystal Blades
Awesome place! Came into town from Nevada for a robotics competition! The owner was so kind and great! Gave us garlic bread and soda and upgraded our half pizza to a full! Everyone in our party was extremely happy and left with full tummies and happy hearts! Thank you for a great experience!
Andrew Vigliaturo
This place is amazing. The nicest people. Genuinely enjoy their patrons and it shows. No dining space but this nice man will set you up a table right there in the entry so you can enjoy your amazing pizza. We took a day trip there from KC and will eat here every time we're here going forward. Do yourself a favor and go here.
Stevi McCain
Best pizza we have had in a long time. They provided great customer service, throwing in free garlic bread because it was our first time (it was amazing). The atmosphere is great and we can definitely see ourselves going back again.
Freezer Bunny
Amazing! We had never been here before and didn't know there wasn't much seating for people, but they VERY nice about it and found a place for us. They gave use forks, napkin and plates. The pizza was amazing the best I have ever had. And they also gave use cheesy bread on them. Bring your fat pants if you get the big pizza lol.
Patrick Hodson
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Jim walked us through the menu and even threw in some cheese bread since it was our first time. I was having a really tough day, and his humor and positivity lifted me up. Also some amazing food! Will definitely be a return customer.
Katie Benner
GOUDAROONI!!! Got this with extra sausage and Canadian bacon! It was so good, and it fed 6 of us with leftovers! We got canolli, garlic bread and ricotta cookies. All of it was fantastic. We also grabbed some authentic Italian pasta and olives. Awesome place!
Marco Capraro
If I could give it 7 stars I would. such kinds staff. Amazing pizza and bread. We wanted to eat there as well and the owner pulled out a table out of no where and made it for us. will be back for sure. Dont go to a pizza chain. support your local bakery's and pizzerias like this one. 14 bucks for a 2 person pizza. LOVE - New fav spot in Omaha. every time I come here I will come back.
M
Can't beat the quality, can't beat the twist for toast! This location serves as a bakery, Italian deli offering various cured Italian meats and specialty cheeses as well as various imported pantry items and very large pizzas! They are always so very friendly and every trip to Orsis is a great one! Love this place!
bruce brown
We found this place in Little Italy in Omaha. These people treated us great. The pizza was very good and the ricotta cookies were excellent.
Trevor Bowers
We just had the probably the best experience at a restaurant I’ve ever had. The owner was so great! We had a pizza and garlic bread (and also a couple cannolis). Food was fantastic and the service was even better! Can’t wait to make this a staple stop everytime we are in Omaha!
Shelly Blakeman
Top quality pizza bit even better was the friendly and welcoming people. My granddaughter and I felt like family the minute we walked in. Highly recommend!
Hannah
Friendly! Generous! A must stop shop! The pizza is top notch and the ricotta cookies were to die for. The owner was so sweet and thoughtful and went out of his way to accommodate our little out of town group! Will recommend and be back!
Caroline Tipton
This is the best homemade pizza and bread I’ve ever had! The owner is so very kind. I would recommend this to anyone looking to support a local bakery.
Mitchell Copple
Five stars does not do justice to the food and especially the service we received here. This is not a big place but it is full of heart and great pizza. We are not from Omaha but we will absolutely be back to Orsi's when we make it back to town. Call in and take out, walk in and take out, or walk in and eat in it's a great experience with great food.
Dr. Chad Johnson
No seating available for dining (though technically there are benches you could sit at). The crew is helpful and friendly--or definitely strikes as a family-run place, which is a good thing. The pizza is different: not thick crust but certainly not thin either. Cheesy, not too much sauce. Hot. Good ingredients. I can't liken it to any chain.
Kyle Sherman
Best damn bakery I've been to for a while. The rolls are great, the sliced bread is fantastic and they make pizza too, from small to epically huge. The guys who work the register are awesome. If you haven't been here before, you are definitely missing out.
Simian Simpleton
A friend let me try some of his Orsi’s leftovers awhile ago and I said that’s the best tasting pizza I’ve had in years. Finally got some for myself and I was not disappointed. Tastes amazing and doesn’t upset your stomach! Great stuff!
mark pettit
Friendly service and great bread and dinner rolls. Longtime Omaha business give them your support for pizzas fresh made breads.
Name unknown
Very friendly people here. Family owned, non-chain restaurant with great pizza and cannolis. While we did enjoy dining there I'd suggest calling in your order and taking it to go since if the place is busy it can feel crowded. If it's your first time they'll be able to tell and if you fess up they throw in some great garlic bread for free.
Wayne Simmons
Stopped for pizza ended up with bread and sausage to take for later. Very friendly proprietor! Great Italian options, from cookies to pasta, cannelloni, bread, and pizza. Very neighborhood "old world" feel with pictures of local softball teams and boxers on the wall. The pizza was great, as was the cheesy garlic bread. The Italian, fresh ground sausage caught my eye, but our return trip home about 3 hrs south deterred me until the shop keeper gave me a bag of ice to make sure it saved cool on the ride home! Great place, will be visiting every time we are in town now.
JANIE WELSH
Oh there bread is the so fresh & so good! Their double crusted pizza is our of this world. We buy it in Omaha & bring it back to our home 7 1/2 hrs. away, if that tells you anything about how great it is!!!
Charley Meckna
To say that I remember pizza from this little establishment 50 years ago and all I can say is pizza pizza pizza I sure have ate a lot of their delicious pizza!
Thanks guys for being there so long with delicious food for all of your customers it's been a great time.

My wife and I were in Omaha on our wedding anniversary. Googled "best lunch in Omaha" and Orsi's popped up at the top, for a reason. Really this is more of a bakery/meat counter than a restaurant. The guy could tell we were looking for tables and he explained they had one to set up. Took our pizza order, and he set up a table while we selected soda out of the cooler. We only ordered pizza but he threw in garlic cheese bread and it was dynamite. Best pizza I've ever had in Omaha. My wife loved the garlic cheese bread, and when we went to pay, we ordered cannoli to go. It was a fantastic experience. We'll be back.
Meghan Bird
Covid Bride here that had to pivot in a hurry. Our original wedding date was 5/30/20 but had to move to 8/7/20. Well we wanted to proceed with our original date as it meant something to us, so we had a small ceremony in our barn on 5/30 with family and bridal party. Hosting a wedding at your house is insane. I didn't want to fuss with burners, serving food, making sure it was ready, so I rushed down to Orsi's because the pizza is bomb AND HUGE! I ordered 5 sheets of pizza, garlic bread and got the deal of a century. They even half baked & sliced the pizza sheets in half so they would fit in our oven! I would highly recommend Orsi's Pizza for any occasion and the best part is your are supporting a local business! Thank you Orsi's for making our little covid wedding bomb with your pizza!
Mary S
Loved this bakery. The owner was amazing. Helped us with where we were going while giving us samples of his delicious breads. This is the personal touch that so many businesses are lacking. Well Done Orsis Bakery!!
Tram Huynh
-Amazing Mom & Pop's feeling
-Amazing Service
-Great price and Ingredient Selections
-Good pizza
The only reason I give this a 4/5 is because I PERSONALLY like my pizza sauce to be more flavorful.
This place is a pizza restaurant/mini "grocery" store. THE PIZZA: you pick the size and whatever ingredients you want to add onto it. The owner is a friendly old guy who takes your orders while giving advice if you are new. He might even give you free garlic bread if he knows that you are new! (or if you have kids, he'll give them sugar). Super friendly and chatty. I came here in the evening and there were a few groups of people eating at the 2-3 mini tables available for dine-in. Since this place if pretty famous, there was a list of to-go orders and people were constantly picking up their pizzas during our 1hr stay.
OTHER STUFF: you can buy some of the ingredients/deli separately, and they looked homemade. They also sell freshly made bread, salsa, pastas, Italian ingredients, and cookies.
Felicia Storm
We are visitors to Omaha NE. We went into Orisi's for pizza! Before we even tried the food we were blown away by the AMAZING service! Nice, friendly, understanding, they predicted needs we hadn't even thought of. Like slicing our pizza into smaller pieces for our toddler! Then we tried the food. Simply delicious! Fresh quality ingredients. My picky toddler couldn't get enough! The sauce was flavorful, the crust was crunchy yet soft, the cheese was delicious. This was our first time at Orisi's and it is now a must visit when we are in Omaha!
Michael H
Went here last night. I decided to go there based on google reviews . I am glad i did. From ohio and i absolutely love this place. Was treated well and set ua a table to eat there. Great pizza and coversation with the workers. I highly reccomend
Breanne Potter
Had a great experience. It was our first time at Orsi's, and certainly not our last. The guy at the register was older and so sweet. He gave us free garlic bread just because he knew it was our first time. "You have to try it," he said. He treated us like old friends. And the pizza was so delicious. It tasted homemade and professional at the same time. You have to tey Orsi's!
Larry Guyer
Heard great comments about Orsi’s and dropped in to see first hand. NO disappointment!! Jim was an absolute delightful person full of wonderful conversation and information. Can’t wait to try Italian sausage. Wife is a rye bread fan, and looks like another trip very soon! Thanks Jim for the experience! See you soon...
Sher Kelly
Friendly personable staff. I bought the great dinner rolls they were known for at The French Cafe. Wish I'd have had the time to order a pizza, made fresh & to order.
randy lee
Best homemade pizza in town!
Tim Garrett
We walked in this place (from Texas) not knowing what to expect looking for some fresh bread, baked goods, pizza, etc.
Order a pizza to go from here ... get the large for your family and you won't be disappointed. The owner served us, gave us a free loaf of homemade bread, free hot cheesy bread right out of the oven, and all was awesome! Go try it... local, friendly, and awesome!
Jenn&Steve Peterson
This was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. I was an out of town guest, and the man at the counter was very generous and kind! Anytime we get back to Omaha, we will be stopping by to support this small business!
Otis W
This is a hidden Omaha gem. I only say hidden because not enough people know about this place. If we’re talking pizza, you won’t find a better party pizza. And don’t let the price fool you, you get A LOT. You’ll need someone to get the door for you. The fresh authentic toppings can’t be beat as they’re right there in the deli. Which is an understatement to say it’s a deli. I mean, where else you going to get cannolis with your pizza or fresh cut meats from?? Whether getting a party or regular sized pizza, the quality and taste are both great and different from the standard take out pizza.
Ok, not done. The bread there is bad for you. Why? Because you’ll put a little butter on it, throw it on the skillets, eat it, and do it again... and again and again! If you can get the pumpernickel, fagetaboutit! I didn’t even like pumpernickel until this place.
Did I mention the pizza? Order in advance and get your cheesy, meaty creation from some very nice guys. At first I was a little skeptical: me being a person of color walking into an Italian joint lol! But, they’ve always been straight up with me and cool. Show respect get respect. Time to go get me a PIZZAH!! 6 stars.
Kat Z
1st time customers. Ordered a mushroom-hamburger pizza. It was delicious! However, don't count on enjoying leftovers the next day. Their fresh dough gets hard when you reheat it.
Rachael Redler
Half-loaf cheese bread. It doesn't get much better than this. Sometimes we make a day trip from Kansas City just to go here. We usually get one cheese bread hot from the oven to eat on our way out of town then take several uncooked to have later. They freeze and reheat great! This time I tried the sliced Italian twist loaf as well and it makes incredible toast. Customer service is always great: friendly and efficient folks!
Joo Chung
Best pizza I've ever had! Wednesday has become our household Orsi's night!
Kas Aco
We always come here when we travel to Omaha. Came here the first time based upon reviews and it did not disappoint. Very delicious pizza! The garlic bread was nothing special but the pizza is amazing!!
Jonna Blankenship
Roadtripping and found this gem! The pizza is very good and so is the garlic bread! Thanks for making our trip memorable! ❤️ Also the customer service was superb.
Emily M
Great food and the customer service could not be beat! Visiting from out of town and the owner (I assume) treated us like regulars, and even offered us complimentary cheese bread and dessert. Could not have asked for a better experience, would highly recommend!
Gemini_Sarah
We live in Colorado and have been told to come here from friends so many times and we finally were able to go get some bread and see what the talk is all about and it absolutely makes sense. Such a giving and friendly little shop worth every penny spent with the best smells right as you walk in and the best homemade foods, this already feels like a home we’ll be coming back to every time we visit Nebraska thank you so so much Orsi’s!
A C
This was my first time in here, and based on smell alone I will definitely be back. Pizza doesn't take long but the sign does say to call ahead and wait 30 minutes for pickup. The food is amazing, I can't wait to try their other offerings.
Seth
Classic place. Old school, neighborhood, community type restaurant. Pizza was pretty good. Id go back a lot if I lived in Omaha. They've been around forever. People obviously care about their customers and making a connection.
Sergio Salazar
My family always comes here for the pizza, which is fantastic! The owner is very welcoming and generous. I love coming to this place and enjoying a tasty and delicious full sheet pizza filled with toppings ! I definitely recommend this place for your go to pizza place!
Greg Smith
An awesome Italian bakery. Owner was incredibly kind and gave us some bread to enjoy during our stay in Omaha. The pizza here was amazing, and the cheese garlic bread was incredible. Anyone looking for some authentic Italian baked goods should stop in. The bread they make here has not changed recipe in nearly 100 years!
Jill Nienaber- Thelen
Amazing service and delicious food!! Pizza was fresh and had just the right balance of sauce and crust- and wasn't greasy. Love that it is family owned and operated- can feel the pride and joy the business brings. We ordered and waited in the shop- awesome to see both new and return customers treated so well.
Taylor Runge
We were visiting Omaha and stayed not far from this awesome place. We had a pizza and some of the garlic bread and both were top notch. The service was second to none, the owner took our order and is polite, and extremely friendly. The shop is simple and no frills but is loaded with excellent deli meat and cheeses as well as baked goods (their biscotti is awesome). The smell around the place is incredible. The garlic bread is made from scratch with "secret garlic sauce" and is stupid good. The pizza is utterly huge for the price and had a thick delicious sicilian crust with high quality sauce and cheese/toppings. Be sure to visit if you are in the area.
JT Snae
This is a fantastic local Italian deli with a lot of rich history shown on the walls of Omaha. Located in Little Italy, Orsi's is a favorite for us. Whether we need some sauce, the best olives, fine cheeses, bread, or pizza, we choose Orsi's. The owner and staff provides excellent service and advice. If you want a real excellent double crust pizza, try it at Orsi's. You can opt to dine in and they will set you up a little table. Definitely a tasty historic gem of Omaha.
Jeremy Tally
If you don't like carbs, you better keep walking. We walked in, unsure of what to order. A friendly neighbor said it was all good, and he had been coming here for 40 years, and couldn't get enough! The man behind the counter said, "You're not from around here, I'll throw in some garlic bread, on the house." We ordered a half pizza, which was more than we could eat. Delicious doesn't do it justice. We bought some Italian bread on out way out, and he threw in more bread, on the house. If we are back in Omaha, this will be the place to stop from now on.
Natasha R.
Small, locally owned businesses with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The garlic bread is amazing as is the pizza. Totally recommend this small find.
Christina Grennell
Love this place! It is a hidden gem and I often forget when thinking of dinner. We order here every year for Boss' Day at the law firm I work at and it is always a hit!! We had it today and all the attorneys and staff loved it. Great fresh pizza and wonderful service.
Charles Barnett
Fantastic service I have never been there before but I will go back again I recommend it to anybody who's never had great pizza this is the best pizza in Omaha Charles Barnett
Robert Rulli
We found ourselves at orsi's.... ended up with perfect picnic food ...senza vino
Claire Vorthmann
LOVE this pizza, and the Italian twist bread (baked fresh daily) is delicious for toast. Great service, friendly staff, and lots of cool history memorabilia on the walls. Note: there is no dining area, all food is intended to be carry-out only.
Mark Boyer
Was told to go here from a few friends in KC area. After a hot day in the sun at the zoo I was expecting to go sit down, relax and cool off. When I got there I was surprised to see old church pews and folding tables and no waitress. It didn't matter, we stayed and it was absolutely amazing. The owner or manager, went over the history of the place with me which I was definitely interested in. Get the ricotta cookies and biscotti's too. This place will not let you down.
Caroline King
I have always gotten pizza from here since I was little. I have moved out of state and when I visit town I always have to come and get some pizza that reminds me of home. They are friendly and have the best tasting pizza I have ever had.
Mouleeswar Kothandaraman
Authentic freshly made pizzas. The person at the counter was so kind enough to give away Garlic breads free as we were first timers. Tasted great and good place if you like Biscottis. They have home made one's too!
Denise Harris
We visited this place by chance and we are so happy we did! The employees were absolutely wonderful! They were friendly, helpful, and even made sure we had plates, napkins, and utensils so we could feed our family in our hotel room. They were incredibly welcoming, generous, and hospitable. Then, there's the FOOD! DELICIOUS pizza, garlic bread, and cannoli! Our 4 year old even raved about how delicious the food was. I wish they were closer to where we live, but we will always make this a stop on our vacations to Omaha!
noel rangel
Honestly they really do put a great pizza together. It’s very Italian. Walk in and you can buy meats and cheese and ingredients from their store. So they offer more than just pizza. The only 40 dollar pizza I’m willing to buy,and that price based on the largest size. You won’t be disappointed.
Christine D
Pizza was okay. The full sheet is huge, probably feeds 10-15 people. The sauce and crust were not super flavorful. Felt it was kind of expensive so the blandness. The garlic bread was not good. The bread tasted stale. Probably wouldn’t order again.
Jay Barrett
This place is truly amazing. The owner makes sure that your first experience is one of the best you'll ever have. The pizza is top of the line and they put a lot of love into it. 100% recommend
Kimberly Suberlak
I read about Orsi's in TripAdvisor, and I'm glad we tried it. The employees were very friendly, the pizza is yummy, and the prices are reasonable considering the pizza. A word of advice: heed the posted suggested serving sizes. I usually eat 4-6 slices of pizza; 2 pieces and a piece of garlic bread was more than enough.
Racheall Petite
I call the order on and was late getting there. I explained to the gentleman working the counter the situation and he was amazing. To top it off the pizza was fantastic and my family so enjoyed dinner. I love this pizza and will order from any where else.
Charlie Loes
Incredible pizza. Delightful experience.
Jamie Kehoe
Extremely friendly staff. Great pizza, garlic bread and bakery items. Definitely a must stop next time we are in town.
Quake Bot
A must-visit stop after the Omaha Zoo. The history of the place is fascinating enough, then you get the food and it gets even better. The setting is very simple and very clean. Sales are carry-out but the owner was perfectly happy to have us eat there. We ordered quarter sheet pizza with garlic bread slices, took leftovers back to the hotel and finished that before bed. They also sell traditional Italian deli sausages, cheeses and more.
Sam Clingan-Siverly
Adorable pizza place with the sweetest man working there and amazing pizza. If you haven't tried Orsi's yet, you really should, it's well worth it!
Rich Burrell
I’m from Chicago area we have awesome pizza places . Though for the price and the amount of food you get I can’t nor won’t complain. Owner was nice polite. I didn’t call it in so I waited there . Food was mad fast and the pizza was good
Mark Hardwick
We had our first experience with Orsi's this week. We were in from out of town and wanted to try something local. We loved it. The pizza was great and the staff was fantastic. We ordered for carry out and the gentleman who waited on us offered to set up a table if we wanted to eat there. He then asked us where we were from and if this was our first visit to Orsi's, We told him it was and he gave us a free bag of their home baked cookies and thanked us for visiting them. We will definitely go again! Thank you so much for a great experience!
LaVisha Smith
Great quality pizza and accommodated my last minute gathering without hesitation! Great service as well! Definitely will be back and always recommend!
Samuel Gire
First time visit, my Grandma is from Italy and we were literally treated like family. Great food, great pizza, makes me want to move to Omaha.
Elena Greenhagen
I LOVE their pizza and I LOVE their bread. Remember to call your order in advance then come pick it up. Always hot & fresh. The service is always pleasant and helpful.
apotheracy
Old world charm with speed and friendly service. The dough is an old family recipe with minimal ingredients. Prices are good for the size and taste is good. Reminds me of pizza I used to get from my Nonie.
Phil Trick
Great corner authentic pizzaria and bakery. They have a couple of tables, it's mostly take out. We had pizza and garlic bread. Excellent! They also sell excellent Italian sausage and cheeses. The bread is wonderful.
Buns o' Steel
Let's just get this out here: this place is pricy. Whew! Better? Alright, now that we have our expectations set, let's dive into it.
The pizza here is fantastic, and even better, freshly produced every day on command. The meat and cheeses are freshly sliced as evident by the multitudes of fresh charcuterie and cheeses out on display. The sauce is even and consistent in taste as well as distribution. The dough is crunchy as you would expect, but also soft when you bite in. It isn't so soft, however, that the slice simply melts and spills its contents. To me, that's the mark of a good traditional slice.
The owner is funny and engaging the whole time you ordered, wait and eagerly receive your pie. He treats his customers well and after about a minutes of talking with him, you can tell that he truly cares about his craft and the people he serves. To me, that's the mark of a good traditional restaurateur.
P.S. Mention that you're a first-timer, he gets excited by that!
Carol Bedrosky
Great pizza, fresh bread w no preservatives, and you can buy dough! Great prices and awesome people! Double crust spinach and combo are our favorites and of course the classic loaf of Italian bread!
Jim Thompson
I love Orsi's. This is a cornerstone of Omaha's little Italy neighborhood. I remember on Sunday morning knocking on the side door and buying a hot loafs
right out of the oven. They've long since added a deli counter and small store. The pizza you can order togo or they have folding to dine in. If you haven't had it you don't know what you are missing. # Best of Omaha#best Little Italy# best Pizza
Amy Andrews
Met up in Omaha for a girls weekend and none of us were familiar with the city. After a long morning at the zoo, weren't sure what we wanted for lunch and stopped into Orsi's and they made sure we were not going to leave hungry! The pizza was delicious, and the service was phenomenal.
Jenny G.
This Omaha historical establishment is a must go for all pizza lovers! Such a great place for food and history. Just remember to bring your own table!
Stuart Hald
Come for the gigantic pizza, but buy a load of bread too. The bread is absolutely phenomenal, literally 4 ingredients. No preservatives so eat it fast or freeze it and make toast. Their pizza is on my top 3 best in town, fresh ingredients and a good bang for the buck.
Davonta Jackson
I love this place the owner is very nice and polite they have the best pizza in omaha. I wish i can ad a picture but i dont have one juzt yet. I recommend if yiu have not ate there ever before you should go. Its down by the train station.
John Marchese
This pizza is in my top 2 in Omaha. They only do take out. They measure their pizzas in "sheets". Full sheet, half sheet etc... They also have a small area that sells Italian/Sicilian groceries. Seeing the products reminds me fondly of my Nana Marchese. My father grew up in little Italy so needless to say the location of Orsi's Is part of the experience for me. Being half Sicilian I feel a connection to all the pictures on their walls. Oddly reminiscent of ALL my relatives! Go go Orsi's you will love it. Prices seem high until you eat a slice and almost can't make it through the second slice. A little goes a long way! BON GIORNO PAISAN!
Brittany Heybrock
1st off, don't go to eat it... It's not really set up for that.
The pizza is damn good, not my favorite in the world, but damn good.
They are, though, an amazing locally-owned outfit and have been in little Italy for YEARS. If you've never had it, you have to at least try it. THEY KNOW ITALIAN.
Ben Behring
Super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Best pizza we have ever had. Had a small town atmosphere with amazing food! Definitely will go back!
C G
First time ever visiting Orsi's. I purchased mortadella, hard salami and prosciutto. Oh..also a cannoli. Each and every item was the best I've ever had....especially the cannoli. The man who helped us was very sweet and I cant wait to return.
Carlton Anderson
Loved their pizza and fresh bread items. Very surprised to find there is no "restaurant" here! When it is called a "Pizzeria" I just assumed there would be tables and chairs, but no. It's just a "pick up your pizza and go" place. Didn't say anything about that on their website or Facebook page. Now we know! Doesn't take away from their AWESOME food and service! Will definitely be back!
Morgan Eslinger
Amazing experience! You walk into good smells, and are met with great customer service. Lots of options and the food was done quickly. We will definitely be stopping back when we are in the area again!
Ann Hathaway
This place was amazing. We came in for the first time not knowing what to expect and the men working were so friendly and helpful. Even though it isn't a sit down place they pulled out a table and set it up for us. Delicious Bread sticks, pizza, and the best cannoli I have ever had in my life.
Chris Mcphee
We are from Kansas City so we wanted to try something different here. The pizza was Great! The guy that helped us was very nice as well. The experience of everything was Great! I'd definitely eat here again next time we come.
Robert Thomas Porter
We ordered pizza here on our way to Maryland. The pizza was fantastic, and the cheese bread was phenomenal.
DebrAnn Bridwell
Wonderful good. Its always great food and prepared correctly and in the time they say. Consistently their food is excellent and they treat everyone like family and you feel welcome...its always very clean and if course it smells like heaven... You can smell bread and pizza and it makes you so hungry!
Cherie Minette
Most delicious bread I have ever tasted! I have been eating Orsi's Italian bread for nearly 30 years! My grandparents grew us up on it, and now it is the only bread my mother will eat (and she lives in SC!) Fantastic owner - really one of a kind guy.
Jason Porter
We ordered a half pepperoni & half pepperoni and sausage pizza, 6 slices garlic bread, and a chocolate cannoloni. First off there are few things I love more than pizza and this pizza was great. The sauce was good, the cheese and pepperoni were amazing, and the sausage was also great. The cheesy garlic bread was better than average, and the cannoloni was awesome. The service was even better than the food. They were not flashy but treated us very well and you can tell the owner cares about his customers. It is nice to support a business like this. We are only temporarily in Omaha but you can bet we will visit orsis every time we come back.
Pat Kirlin
Liked it. Have casually know members of the Orsi family for many years and they take care of you when you're in their restaurants.
Jon Compton
This is by far one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The service is spectacular! If you haven't tried this you are missing out! This is what Italian pizza is supposed to taste like.
Ben Olson
Service was excellent. They seemed concerned that what we ordered may not have been enough, so they threw in some cheese bread on the house. Great place!
Eric Bertone
The pizza is amazing!! So many options and great flavor. The deli options are pretty good good too for authentic Italian bread, meat, cheese, and more options. No done in but a great stop.
David Collis
Great place to have lunch pizza was very good and the services was the best super friendly and helpful
Tyler Gatrost
Love getting their pizza dough to make pizzas at home. Their cheese bread is legit. I like their pizzas and fresh bread as well
Wendy Bell
If you're looking for the best pizza in Omaha don't bother going any place else. Orsi's Pizza is the best around the metro area hands down.
Tracy Williamson
Best pizza in town.. I oersonally know the owner. Make exactly what your wanting and its pure perfection
James Williams
Appears to be just a store front, and not a restaurant, but if you want, they will set up a table and let you eat there. The pizza is thicker than elsewhere, but not really deep dish--tastes fantastic.
Abby Audrey
Amazing pizza. Best place to go to when u have a big family to feed for a great price and taste.
Josh H
We were traveling through the area and decided to go into Omaha to find a restaurant. Luckily, we decided to go to Orsi's. Without a doubt in mind it was some of the best pizza and service I've ever been given. Cheers to the employees.
Suzie Smith
Among my favorite pizza places in town. Been dining here for years. Their pizzas are the meatiest ever. And the garlic bread is so good. Great job to the wonderful staff who run this place.
Sue Armstrong
Absolutely the best Homemade Italian Sausage ...it is crazy good. Their thin spaghetti and sauces are fantastic. A wonderful variety of breads will keep you coming back for more.
Grace Riggs
Orsis an Omaha's tradition. The bread is absolutely fantastic!!! No preservatives so you have a good excuse to eat it up fast! We (3) usually eat half a loaf before we get home. I always have to take a lot of loaves to MN when we visit friends at their cabin.
The pizza is wonderful too. There's actually flavor and not just loads of tomato for a filler. The crust is to die for!!!
Benny Mardones
Believe the hype! The douchebag who gave this one star is a complete idiot! The owner is one of the nicest and hardest working bakery owners you'll ever meet! Garlic bread is great along with everything else they serve! Tradition and flavor live here!
Dominic Urso
First time today ordering the pizza.
This is by FAR the best place around for pizza.
Second best pizza I’ve ever had - gma’s is the best. Brings back so many memories of gma.
You will not be disappointed.
Wish it was open later.
Anna Wicks
We had a fun lunch here and decided to eat there. It's more of a take-out spot but they have tables you can set up to eat there. Staff was so very friendly and the garlic bread and pizza was delicious. We look forward to going back!
Lindsay Gartner
The guy in there is the nicest person on Earth! His bread is awesome. The service is excellent.
Sarah Whisonant
Very helpful. I will go back. Great pizza too.
Corey Joslin
The best bakery. Extremely friendly, the owner found out that we were from out of town and gave us some wonderful bread free of charge. I can't recommend this place enough. Worth making another trip to Omaha just to go back here.
Jeff Krystyniak
Fantastic pizza. A little light on the cheese this time. Not a deal breaker but could have been a touch better. If I can see the crust and toppings in places then the cheese just isn't up to the previous standards. Still would call it in my top 5.
Frank Miali
Place is beautiful, it reminded me of places I would go when I was a child living in California. The smell of N Italian Deli brings back memories and a tear to my eye. Thank you for all you do.
Forrest Goyer
The service was fantastic, and the pizza was spectacular. The man who rang us up set up a table for us (there are no tables out) and threw in a garlic bread for us as well. Wonderful guys and a great place.
thomas gabriel
I love this place. My fave pizza. Even when they midplaced my order, it was only 15 extra minutes and they piled on a bunch if extra sweets (cookies & italian biscuits) in my car and for no charge.
David Alberts
It was my first time ordered a full large pizza and large order of bread sticks.went by other people's take on it.I thought it was ok but not great.thought momas pizza was better but not much.
Greg S
Fabulous authentic italian cusine and amazing fresh pizza. I love the pizza here and that's saying a lot because my reviews for most of Omahas other pizza places don't rate very high. I also like the little store inside with authentic italian cheeses, meats, breads, sauces on more. Great place if you can appreciate real homemade Italian cusine! 5 Stars
Michael Sullivan
The aroma is so wonderful. Everything we bought (pizza and garlic bread) was handmade and delicious. They also had a large assortment of imported italian products along with their own pasta etc made in house.
kathy britenstine-salavec
Super super super super nice people pizza was so very very good you're very kind and letting me wait for my ride when we're getting ready to close it's all around neighborhood people thank you for being so nice and kind
Matthew Kowalski
Had a great experience here with my family - we visited from out of town and stopped in because of the high ratings. Good food (REAL food - not loaded with preservatives), plus James, the owner, even came and offered my young kids a brief behind the scenes tour.
Rita Flairfive
The best pizza in Nebraska! We take back to Iowa a, half baked pizza and finish cooking at home and it is wonderful. The fresh baked bread give us days of delicious toast.
Janel Sunderland
Great food and great service!
Brent Cline
Jim is the owner and is a great guy. I’m from a small town and worked at a pizza place growing up. I love local pizza, it’s always unique and delicious. Orsi’s is not a disappointment.
Catherine Smith
I now live in MN and have always LOVED Orsi's! I was in Omaha and had to stop at Orsi's! The best Italian deli/bakery ever! :)
Tammy Leigh
Always great service and yummy food. If you having tried the pizza yet now is the time. The gentleman who runs the place always working hard and pleases his customers. Goes above and beyond most of the time.
Dan Keane
The owner, Jim, has a most interesting story about his connection to what is now the longest running restaurant in Omaha, going back four generations to the founders, the Italian family, the Orsis. It was such a pleasure!
Debbie Nuno
My family has been going here for years.. its the best. I love the sliced bread toasted. as a kid my mom would make hot chocalate and we would dip the bread in it.Everything there is fantastic and they always are so very nice. On the walls are pictures of old times.. so while you wait for your order.. yu can remanise.. it is a wonderful place
Kyrie Payton
This family run pizzeria is really tasty, they let you customize as much as you want and they don't skimp on any toppings. No delivery, but you can order take out ahead, which is a good idea because the inside seating is kinda limited.
Vinny G
The authentic Italian deli meat is so delicious! Pizzas are absolutely incredible! My go-to place when I'm in town. Recommend this place to my friends and family all the time.
Jonah L
OMG...the pizza here is seriously good. Served piping hot from the pizza oven, it tastes like you are in Italy (or even NYC). In an area of Omaha where you have other Italian food choices, I always return to Orsi's because you can't do better.
Sarah Calderón
Some of the best pizza in Omaha, hands down. The deli is great too! Amazing customer sercice. The full sheet pizza is a excellent purchase for parties and get togethers!
Joel Terry
The pizza is a little expensive but it's really good pizza.
Walter McDaniel-Brooks
Service is awesome, pizza is terrific! Would love to keep this place in business for another hundred years.
Deby Prothero
The best pizza and bread shop around
Justin S
Pizza was delicious. A quarter pizza is enough to feed 2 people. It's 6 slices. Cheese bread was good too. It is a bakery so plenty of snacks and breads to purchase as well. No dine in area.
CaliGrown Shel
Best place around. My mom grew up here in Omaha and this place was around since she was a young girl. Every time we come to visit we order 10-15 loaves a bread to take home
We ordered 15 this time. Woot-woot!!!!
Nick Lauters
Awesome people, great service and most importantly delicious pizza!
Tricia Granbois
Wow! YUM! YUM! Pizza was so freakin good! Must order the cheesy garlic bread! Ricotta Cookies are delish! Can't wait to try my canoli later! Jim is by far the nicest restaurant owner I have ever encountered! We were traveling through Nebraska on our way home to Iowa and he stayed a bit later so we wouldn't miss out. I'm so extremely happy he did! He was so nice to our 2.5 your old daughter! I'm just amazed by our experience!! I can't wait til we can come back again!! I highly recommend this place!!! I just can't say enough good things.
Fyi.check out the 15 foot fork with spaghetti at the other end of 7th st.
Rachelle Robinson
Food is absolutely delicious! Like others have mentioned there isn't really anywhere designated to sit and eat. But, they are more than willing to set up a few card tables if you'd like to stay and eat. I would hands down recommend this place!
Donia Rattei
Loved the pizza and the cheese bread was amazing. People were super friendly. Can tell all the locals come here for pizza and the meat and cheese. Great little stop.
Lee Ervin
It's like family! Love it there.
Robert Haffke
It is absolutely amazing how the food from this bakery brings people together my 3 small boys who never sit and eat dinner are silent as they devour their pizza. Any chance I get to pick what to eat orsi's is hands down the first thought that comes to mind.in all my years of eating here I've never been anything other then completely satisfied. Thank you for never letting me down
Chanelle Johnson
Delicious pizza and friendly staff. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our first visit was a great experience
Christopher Gaines
Great pizza, they also have other great products you can buy and be your own chef.
Gymmy Gainz
Only the best pizza in the world 💪
Derek Young
Visiting Omaha and decided to give this place a try. They provided great service and scrumptious pizza! We will undoubtably refer people to Orsi’s!
Aiden Moss
The pizza goes without saying. Wanted a sub sandwich today for lunch so I bought some meats, cheeses, and hoagies. My ham and salami with provolone was of the highest quality and flavor, really fantastic.
Brandon Glesmann
Very good! Thick crust, has the right amount of crunch. Sauce was very good. Garlic bread was good too. Staff was very friendly. Good place. We will go again.
Laurie Gay
The food was delicious. The owner/employee was super nice. Gave our family some stuff for no charge. Only reason I didn't give it a five star is the lack of actual seating for dining in. It's more of a to go place.
Melissa Kielty Your Health and Wellness Place
The minute you walk into this place it's like a small Hometown feeling! I can't believe how big the pizzas are but most of all how awesome they taste!!! Worth every penny!!!
T Beyer
I wish I could just rate the pizza, but the customer service here was so overwhelmingly great, I couldn't get over it to just enjoy the pizza (although I know it was very tasty and hearty.
I felt like I was a part of the family the moment I came through the door.
Speaking of the door, I found it quite funny that you can't walk out the door with a large pizza in your hand without tilting the pizza - the doorframe is too narrow! How many pizzas can make that boast?
Shawna Kubik
I wish I could work here! We always get the homemade pepperoni. Yummmm!! You have to try the pizza, no words can describe how amazing it is.
Andrew Gowins
My wife and I were visiting Omaha and staying in a hotel, we looked up best order out places and the top of the list was Orsi's. I called in and explained we've never eaten there before and asked what they would suggest. The guy suggested the Combo and it did not let us down. I can't wait to come back to Omaha and eat here again!!
Ben Hawtof
Eating at Orsis was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. Nicest small business owner I've ever met. I can see how it's been open for almost 100 years. Definitely worth a visit.
Greg Duman
I drive clear from west omaha to buy their bread and Genoa salami. Since their bread has no preservatives I freeze one loaf while we finish the first loaf. It keeps for quite a while in the freezer.
Ryan Kenyon
Old school neighborhood Italian deli and takeout pizzeria. Open since 1919, the smell alone is worth the trip, but get a pizza. Awesome.
Kari Cooper
The staff is so friendly! We were just passing through Omaha for one night and stopped for dinner. It felt like they rolled out the red carpet. The pizza was great and extra cheesy
S Onvimala
Great place! Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The history on the walls alone is worth the visit and the bread was amazing! Definitely a place that deserves your hard earned dollar.
Paws Claws
Started going to Orsi's again after years of not making it down there about 3 months ago. Nothing has changed. They still cut the meats to your liking, still have the best cannoli anywhere and the staff is always friendly and willing to help.
The photos on the wall mean a lot to a girl who travels 25 miles to get there at least twice a month..some are family, some are friends, some are I have no idea, but all are interesting and warm the heart
Mammas Kassiotis
Best pizza in town! Garlic bread, cannolli, excellent. Small family owned, always good customer service!
Michael Baare
Great place to eat or pick up speciality ingredients. Orsi's is family owned and operated, and the owner is a great guy always hooks it up when i deliver their mail. Much appreciated 👍. Its a great place with great food that no one should miss out on. …
Becky Wells
Yummy as always, and friendly service.
Mikel Severe
Orsi's is the standard for old school Italian Omaha pizza. The bread is made daily and the cold cuts are fresh and unqiue for 2020. You don't fine this quaility of hot capacola. It's a staple of little Italy history.
nicci Bennett
Best pizza in Omaha pricey but well worth it employees FABULOUS our family is known by them and always happy garlic bread is off the chain love us some orsis thank you
Kathy Ells
Great bakery, awesome service, very friendly!!
Tom Egr
Best bread and pizza in Omaha and all around wish I lived closer I'd go more often Jimmy's a great guy
Angel E
Authentic and amazing... from the homemade ricotta, to the Italian sausage and to die for bread. This is the place to go. You definitely won't be disappointed by anything you get here!
Simon Bacon
Great pizza for a great price! The shop is kinda "hole in the wall" but that doesnt take away at all! Neat little grocer inside aswell for Italian things like pasta and sauces ect.
New fav place for pizza.
D Patton
Really good pizza, but fyi, this isn't a sit-down kind of place. Mostly take-out. The owner was so nice!
Monica Bernfeld
My sister and I loved this place. They were so very nice to us. The food was delicious. I will be back every time I'm in Omaha. I wouldn't miss it!
