This was the 1st time my family and I went to the collective. We had a great experience staff in every restaurant we went to were nice. The building was clean and well kept! The men's bathroom was cool also kept clean, they have a family bathroom if needed. We have been back and it was a Friday and service didn't change. It was crowded but still awesome environment still felt safe. If you are in OKC stop by they will have something for you!!!!!!!!

Eclectic. Artsy. Original. Eatery with multiple flavors from cultures around the world. African. Mexican. Belgium… Coffee, ice cream, drinks. Local music bands in an outdoor sitting area. Bocce Ball tournaments across the street. Uplifting mantras and paintings dot the walls. Fun place for a night out in the town. Four star rating because I expected waffles with pearl sugar to be freshly made in front of me- instead they were reheated. :/ Also, expected more of a farm to table fare based on location.

Great place for a light dinner and drinks. There are many types of food and all are local small businesses. The bar gets very lively but not crowded. Very nice atmosphere. Lots of seating area inside and out. Two floors of food and a bar on the second floor with a small service bar outside on the third floor.

Ok, I didn't expect this but City Concepts with a Wonderful idea. Environment Great. Pizza was Great multiple places under 1 roof, similar to a Mall Food court but Unique Foods. A must stop for lunch. Only issue in area is parking. Northwest has a public lot but cost. Otherwise fight for 1 on the streets. Great Spot..

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. A nice spot to hang with friends and enjoy good conversation. My girlfriend and I stopped in and got Philly Cheese steaks and drinks and yess baabyyy, they were definitely worth it!! The bar area is beautiful, very comfy and nicely decorated. Music is playing to catch a nice vibe and the drinks were delicious.👍🏾👌🏾💜 Highly recommend, service was okay but they were busy so understood!

Parking in this area is an absolute nightmare. I really hope they find a way to put in more lots or a better directory, pretty much everything nearby is a tow away zone. Otherwise the atmosphere is great! They have nice indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. There are plenty of very unique restaurants too choose from and we all had a pretty good time

We went here for a birthday on a lovely April Friday evening. Plenty of outdoor seating and a fun atmosphere. It was fun to see everyone hanging out, including babies and dogs. Of course, the food is all great, and it’s awesome to have so many places to pick from. We got pizza (the Aloha), and it was amazing. Got to try my sister’s waffle, and that was also great. The craft sodas were a highlight. It’s a nice place to hang out in groups, and it even has a bar.

I went here ages ago but never got around to writing a review so most of the places I went to have moved on, but I had a great time here! The atmosphere is fun and lots of different good options for different tastes. Some of the places were a bit overpriced for the quality, but I’m happy to say some places have their own store front now (Cafe de L’asie!). I would come back here again for a good time with friends.

Impressive collection of restaurants, bars, coffee and desserts. Every place within looked so delicious and I had a hard time choosing. I finally settled on a Philly cheesesteak, which was amazing. As good as the sandwich was, the onion rings were somehow better. After eating the cheesesteak, I couldn't help but try the fried taco restaurant as well. It had chicken, chorizo and picked avacado. They had the best salsas too. The blueberry one was especially unique. I came for lunch but want to return at night to experience the bar life. TRY THIS PLACE.

Every time I go, I eat the same thing! I have to have the Fried Tacos. They are really great. Pretty much tried all on the menu! My favorite is the Brisket! It is so tasty! Next would be the Caribbean jerk chicken and then the jackfruit. For dessert I always eat at the Press Waffle Co. The house waffle with no graham cracker drizzle but sub caramel and add ice cream just makes the visit complete!

Grabed food at the fried taco place and it was amazing! Had the brisket and chicken tacos with the sharable chops and queso! Highly recommend the brisket taco- 10/10! The queso was made out of white cheddar and had chorizo with housemate chips- grab your friends and enjoy!! My friends enjoyed the poke bowl and pizza! Definitely check it out!

Got a giant Pizza, definitely saves you money. Then got a sandwich Edie's subsaharan restaurant. It was decent meat was a little chewy and the bread was on the verge of being stale. The fried plantains were bussin, though.

Really awesome venue! Very laidback with an atmosphere for everyone in the group. Personally, I love the outside setting. There’s also indoor sitting if you prefer along with a balcony! Food options for everyone in the family. Literally, everything! It’s so awesome! I love that everyone can get different things and share. I only got pictures of the food from one place but we munched everywhere lol. Prices are rather expensive, especially with the portions but it is great quality! Very flavorful and delicious. Love coming here with family and friends! You could come to hangout and celebrate or come to get a few drinks!

First visit and I am hooked!! There are so many good choices of food, it's hard to select one. Each of us were able to, so we got to sample a little from each. Shaka was delicious! I had "Island Boy" Loco Moto! The beef patty was moist and the carmelized onions with mushroom was the perfect touch! My son had their Hawaiian BBQ chicken, and it was so yummy. You get a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce sliced chicken over rice. The best part is the Hawaiian mac salad! I could eat that all day. My hubby had grilled chicken wings from Sub-Sahara, they tasted so flavorful and smoky! Then I had to try Fried Taco's Jackfruit vegan taco. OmG!!! it was very good and so yummy, i wish I could have eaten another one!! If you are even in Midtown, come here for a great meal and wonderful inviting atmosphere!

A friend recommended this place, I must say I was open minded when coming and I actually was impressed 👍 the ambiance and decor is great. The place was clean and organized. Great options with places that will definitely broaden your horizons. Only downside was the potential waiting in long longs or the place being to crowded but I went on a Saturday night so it was to be expected, but overall definitely will be coming back.

It was a good experience. I didn't have any problem. We grabbed some food from Shaka, Okie Pokie, Fried Taco, and Phill Me Up Cheesteaks. The food was pretty good. We did not have to wait too long for our orders, as the place was not too crowded yet. Their bathroom was not bad to use. Overall, I would come back, as we did not have any major problem with visit. As of 05/30/2022, parking right beside City Garden is no longer free. You will need to find parking on the street somewhere, which can be a bit of a far walk. At night, it's pretty sketchy, so pay attention to your surrounding.

It was my 1st time as I was visiting a girlfriend of mine in OKC. I loved the space and energy of the crowd!! I appreciated the diligence of one of the waitresses who had my ranch water remade free of charge and asked me all night when she saw me if I needed anything else. She was super sweet!! I would recommend checking them out and if you get food the wings and fries were delicious and they have fried tacos!!!!

The food and service was great from the restaurant choices to the cleaning staff. They were all so friendly. I would suggest getting more decks of cards though lol. The deck we had only had face cards, Aces, 9's, and 10's. Looked like a deck I'd want to use in Blackjack!!

Went on a couples’ trip and ate here on our last day - Ate at Shaka, got Shrimp Tempura, and it was so so good!! The entire place also has a really cool vibe! I’d definitely come here again.

Love this food hall. There's many different food options, a well stocked bar, and a sizable coffee bar as well. Parking can be difficult, but that's standard for the area. It's in Midtown, but is in walking distance to several other districts as well as the business district.

This review is more so to shine light on Shaka, which is a restaurant inside of the Collective. Really good food, from what I've heard it is the closest thing to authentic Hawaiian food. The tempura is crazy.

Had the Fried Tacos and got the brisket tacos and Puerto Rican and Cuban empanadas and they were fantastic. Grabbed a Paloma from the bar and was excellent. The patio area was clean and relaxing until mother nature convinced us to step inside. Conley coffee helped warm usback up, all around good evening with friends.

This place is so fun. Great for groups. Lots of eating spots to choose from and dessert options. Coffee bar and a an alcoholic bar. Lots ofseating. You can sit inside at a bar top, comfy seating, or a large table. Or you can sit out on the downstairs patio and play the sandbag game or go to the rooftop patio. Prices are what you would expect, not breaking the bank, but not cheap. I would definately come back. The environment was chill, clean, and welcoming.

An amazing place of several great locally owned eateries. It's like a mall food court but a stand-alone building with indoor and outdoor places to sit. Looks very upscale but affordable. Valet service available at certain times.

Pretty cool idea of a dine-in area, but kinda boujie 💁🏼‍♀️. Seriously, it’s kind of an overpriced cafeteria. Way too overcrowded on the busy days (weekends), so be prepared for that 🫠 it does have a cool vibe/atmosphere… but all the dang kids running around killed it. C’mon… put a leash on em or something. So for reals, reminded me of an overpriced/over-crowded mall food court. So try it!😵🤙🏻

We have tried several of the kitchens. They were all unique and tasty. Tried the Big Bun Bakery today. It is fantastic! Glad to see a sweet shop in The Collective!! Can not wait to try the chicken pot pie.

Great indoor area with several restaurants to choose from. The outside seating area is nice but it was too cold when I visited. If you arrive shortly after 11am for lunch there's no wait. Limited parking so be prepared to park in the open lots on the north side of 10th St and walk.

The Collective Kitchens and Cocktails is the first food hall concept in Oklahoma City, and we are truly blessed to have it!! It’s an awesome venue to try the food of many amazing chefs!!! We sampled many of the restaurants during the soft opening, and were thrilled with each and everyone one of them!! Stick tap to Chef Vuong Nguyen at Cafe De L’Asie for creating our favorite French dip in OKC and a portable Beef Wellington, the man is a master!! Highly recommend!!

Tired of regular franchise food? Try this place. I wanted to eat at each restaurant. Shaka - tempura shrimp and pork shanks. Local-homa - burger and fries. Very good quality. Waffle place-the house. And chicken and waffles. Edie’s grill- jollof rice and dodo (plantains). Cafe Dr E L’asi..... fries and buns-one shrimp, one chicken. Yum. Also had Shaka tempura shrimp and pork shanks. All of it was awesome. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy. They checked our temperature when we got there, no biggie for me. And we even got a face mask discount on our food. Parking is a normal downtown OKC parking situation. But we parked about two blocks away and it wasn’t that bad. At least it was free.

Fun, great food and cool atmosphere! There were several types of great food/vendors to choose from, and easy seating in a pleasant atmosphere. You bring your food to the table, and there are staff who come around regularly and pickup your empties. What an excellent experience!

This was my first time going. My daughter and cousin like coming here. I'm glad I trusted their choice in eateries. It's a mix of cultural food choices. Great service! Great food! Great drinks! Electric energy! Culmination of age ranges. It's a mixture of sports bar-social dining-happy hour-and chic-style restaurants. The prices are reasonable. We had pizza, a poke bowl, chicken and waffles, ice cream, and drinks. The food portions are plentiful and atmosphere and relaxing. I will be back. Sorry no pictures.

The Fried Tacos are delicious! They are basically a taco shaped flauta. The chicken was laid on thick and was super juicy. $4 each was definitely not a bad deal! Also got some of Theo’s donuts - the person I was with said they were the best donuts she’s ever had!

It’s a nice idea but I felt like the choices were all spread out so you could not see all the options in one area, there were some over here and a couple over there, one upstairs, etc. what I had was good, the Philly cheesesteak place was really good. I chose that because I really didn’t know anything about the foods at other booths. This made choosing difficult. When you don’t know the foods there, it’s hard to pick what you would like.

Good luck picking what to eat bc they all looked amazing. I had the waffle place and my daughter had the fried Taco-both were really good. The entire place is spotless, they have their own special sodas as well as the typical Pepsi and stuff but try theirs, I had some pineapple concoction that was perfect. We were there in the afternoon so it wasn’t very busy looked like a lot of door dash orders going out but not many dining in if you want to avoid people and have a quiet lunch that’s probably the best time.

Went here for a work lunch. They have a nice variety of options of food! Drink station is a little different since they only have one drink station. I ate from the Okie Pokie restaurant and had the B.Y.O.B (bring your own bowl).

Fun, casual atmosphere. Fills up fast. The Dutch babies from oh baby are delicious. I have had the apple one and the sausage and egg one. Both good. Theo's Doughnuts was also good. The dough has a nice sweetness to it with a good yeast rise. I love waffles was good. But being I have had Waffle Champion, kind of hard to beat. The second time I went, I had the Paleo kitchen place. They had a Thanksgiving bowl. The cornbread stuffing was yummy and the chicken in it was great! So was the roasted vegetables. If you want something that it isn't so fast foodie, go here.

This is one of the best and most innovative food experiences in OKC right now. The Collective is a food hall, which is essentially a collection of small restaurants with a common bar and dinning area. It's a. It of a mix between a food court and a food truck park, and it creates an atmosphere where new restaurants can experiment in a casual setting. The space is incredibly busy on the weekends, and will likely be so until the opening buzz dies down. Weekday lunch is a little less crazy and might be a good time to try it out. That being said, the experience so worth the wait. There are approximately 9 small restaurant concepts with a coffee shop and a donut shop for dessert. The chefs behind the restaurant comprise a literal who's who of chefsin OKC, along with two Coach House alums: Chefs Beth Lyon and Vuong Nguyen. Because the chef involvement is so high, you're very likely to experience some of the best food in the state for a very reasonavle price. Cuisines range from BBQ and Waffles, to farm to table American, French, Korean, Vietnamese, and even Dutch Babies. The decor is very well done for the space and mixes industrial elements (it was an old car repair shop in a past life) with rich textures of velvet, natural wood, and gold. There is a large patio in the front and a second story deck. The bar area features overhead garage door bays that can open onto the patio Ina nod to the past. The light is excellent and the space features a range of mixes grades that make it feel larger than it probably is. There was a moment several years ago when the organizers of the H&8th food truck festival announced they were ending the monthly event in warmer months. One of the reasons they cited was that their "placemaking" goals had been achieved. At the time, only Blue Garden and Tamshii Ramen had really been the only restaurants to start in the area in the wake of the food truck festival (though RJ's might have been open by that point as well). Since then, Hall's Barrios, and Capitals Ice Cream opened their doors. Jimmy's Egg is opening a new location on Hudson, and Nonesuch was able to both open and win Bin Appetit's restaurant of the year award in just that span. If you want to trace the origins of Oklahoma City's new restaurant renaissance, there is a clear line that can be drawn in this area from H&8th to what we have now. The Collective's opening is occuring at the epicenter of this moment in Oklahoma City where high and low-brow cultures are colliding over a patch of long-neglected and undervalued real estate. The place continues this great food experiment in the highest manner, and, along with Mother Road Market in Tulsa, should place Oklahoma City on the map as an international food destination.

The Collective is a food court for adults. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very nice. Definitely a place I will return to. Four stars only because nearly a third of the vendor spaces were empty, but I imagine it will take some time to fill them again post-Covid.

First time visiting The Collective. Has multiple choices for food options. Would be a great place to meet a group of friends or for that date that can't decide what they want to eat. It also has a bar. I had a Dutch Baby with lox and cream cheese..... was really good. We also tried a lemon blueberry one and an apple crisp one..... also very yummy.

Lots of cuisines to choose from. For my first visit I tried the Irish Fried taco From The Fried Taco. Delicious!! The Coconut Lavender Lemonade was refreshing. Great seating indoors and a wonderful patio.

You have got to eat at Big Buns bakery!!! They had their vip night And gave away samples of their buns. It is so buttery and delicious and not overly sweet! I wish I had coffee to go with it but I will definitely be back nothing better....the staff is super friendly too!

The perfect place to meet up with friends and grab a cocktail after work or on the weekends. The weekday happy hour prices are several hours long and start at just $3.50 for well drink cocktails! That's basically unbeatable and the location is superb. Everyone can get what they want and the selection of restaurants is pretty great. Both indoor and outdoor seating has a great atmosphere (and the outdoor seating even has heaters in the winter)! The perfect place for groups when everyone likes something different.

Great place to have friends who are either picky or who don't share your own tastes in food but all wanna hang! Wish I took some photos! Maybe I'm old but this was a lot of work for so-so food. Several different places to choose from. Quick and friendly service at the fried taco place where the white cheese was very good. Loud music. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor too. Parking was easy on a Sunday evening around 7.

What a cool place! We went on a Sunday to grab food from a particular place for lunch and when we got there, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall concept. We decided to stay and eat. We talked to several different people that worked there and everyone was helpful with our questions of curiosity. I can see where this is a perfect hang out for any age adult in the evenings yet family friendly during the day. I loved the art wall! Bathrooms were very clean and the staff by the beverages were friendly and on top of cleanliness. Good job!!

This was a nice surprise! First of all looking at it from the outside I had no idea there was such a variety of food places inside. There was something for everyone and we definitely had fun. Be warned after 5pm the place takes on a more adult vibe. Which is okay, we had small kids with us and we were almost done when 5pm rolled around. Overall though this place is a good choice to try something new. We ate at the South African restaurant and people it was GOOD!

The atmosphere here is great! There is a large variety of different cuisines to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails are wonderfully made. Only downside is they do not accept cash, but you can use cash to have a card loaded at the bar and the card is accepted by all the restaurants.

First time visit, wasn't really sure what to expect. Once we figured out what we wanted to eat, we sat in the bar area. I had ribs, fries, and fried rice from Eddie's Grill. Sub-Saharan cuisine. My wife got a poke bowl. It was clean and plenty of staff to answer questions. I only give it 4 instead of 5 stars because the info on the table indicated there would be cocktail servers. There was one in the bar area, but she never came to our table and never asked if we needed anything. We ended up ordering at the bar and that service was great. I'm excited to see a similar concept that's being developed in Wichita.

Yesterday I visited The Collective Food Hall for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had the best Philly cheesesteak ever in probably the last 11 years. My husband had the island boy loco moco from Shaka and I ate from Phill me up cheesesteaks. We also enjoyed some very good drinks and our bartender Kayden was awesome, seriously he was the best part of the whole experience. I love that there are several options to choose from and the area is quite spacious and comfortable.

Such a great place to swing by and enjoy patio sitting on a summer evening! Especially loved that their patio is dog friendly. One of the servers (Alex) even brought over a water bowl for our pup! We received excellent service from all of the servers working outside. The food from both Shaka and Phill Me Up Cheesesteaks was tasty and had great portions. My husband and I enjoyed getting different things and sharing. I will say that the drinks are a bit pricey. It was $18 for 2 local draft beers, which I could almost get 2x4 packs from the brewery for.

Love the variety of food available, but definitely stop by The Fried Taco. Seating can be tough to find on weekends since it’s all open and they’re usually pretty busy. Bartenders are usually pretty good and knowledgeable, just be prepared to wait a bit for your drink if they’re packed. Also dog-friendly outdoors, fire pits and outdoor/2nd floor seating; a great spot to hang and have some food/drinks.

I apologize for not remembering the name but there is a taco place next to the waffle place 😂 I know it sounds like Oklahoma misguided directions. This was my first time so I need some slack. The jerk chicken taco is amazing and don't get me started on the lemonades... Ahhh so delicious! The taco place was my favorite place. The Philly place has some fried mushrooms that were amazing as well. You can literally go with people and have a share feast. I love trying new foods. I'm always up to seeing what new or revamped food is being offered. Seriously if you have the time this is the place to be. Tell the guys at the taco place miss allergic sent you. You might get a smile at least, no promise of discount. 😂 I love spicy food but I have a mild pepper allergy. I wasn't driving and the rest of my day was cleared. I ate the spicy and lived for a day. You never think how much your missing until it's an issue to have. I loved every bite. It was worth 3 days of allergy discomfort.

Funny thing is! We found this place on TikTok! A whole building just for food! Imagine a cool hipster mall but only the food court. Each little "booth" i shall call them had their own unique menu. Have been here a couple of times. Both times it was before most people came in for lunch. There was still a minor wait but nothing extreme. Some of the restaurants inside are more successful at their offerings and better suited to the food court style than others. It is apparent they are still working out kinks. There is not enough seating for the current demand, so be prepared to wait or to sit outside. It is clean and pleasant inside, the art and decor is very nice. It's also great to be able to pick and choose what you would like. Serving sizes are generally smaller than other restaurants but mostly still reasonable, and it allows you to try a couple of places.

Everything we tried was so yummy, but the fried taco was my fave. Will definitely be going back for more of that! Update 8/21: this place is still a great concept and is pretty well executed. However, there is no parking, and finding a place nearby on the street or in another lot is very difficult; this is made more frustrating by the fact that there's an empty lot (looks like a parking lot) directly next to the building. Also, the bathrooms weren't super clean and the fixtures (toilet, sink) aren't touch-free. Still, I'll probably go back again.

These food collectives are pretty cool ideas around the cities. This one is a bit smaller than others I have been to, but the resturants were great. Went to the philly cheese spot, poke bowl and Japanese bun spot. All of them were good and we didn't have a problem getting some seats. The restrooms were also very aesthetically pleasing and clean. The outdoor section looked to be dog friendly too, nice vibes.

But, this place is not kid friendly. And I would agree with other reviews. It's too loud. Not enough seating. Not enough space to walk. But for date night? Yeah it's cool and it's close to a lot of other things. Not for large groups. Not for family's with kids.

This is a cool concept. I won't let the one place that made us wait an hour for a crepe just to say they lost our ticket ruin the whole experience. The taco place was great, a little salty. I really enjoyed this place! This is the first time I've visited and I love that they have restaurants to fit every palate, diet, and favorite! My husband and I are vegetarian and ate at Black Cat. It literally has paleo, keto, vegetarian, vegan, and full animal protein options. I can't remember which bowl I had, but the flavors mixed together were delicious! I also had a pumpkin cream cheese and chocolate syrup waffle from Waffle. It was amazing and I definitely could have eaten a second one. Waffle Champion might have to look out. It was a bit crowded as it was Friday night, but there is upstairs outdoor seating that wasn't and had the game playing. I didn't get to sit up there this time, but I definitely will next. Parking was easier than I thought. We didn't have to walk far from where we parked. All the staff were friendly. Drinks are pricey though. My husband got an Old Fashioned and it was $12. Will definitely visit again!

Outdoor seating has those tall propane heaters set near some tables for when cooler weather hits. Everything on offer from organic vegetables, fruit and meats to corn syrup free fountain drinks. This place is great if you're indecisive about what you want to eat. There is a really tasty bbq kiosk and a good coffee kiosk. The environment is very welcoming and open, and the upstairs patio always offers a comfortable breeze with a nice view of the city. The location is right next to a beer garden and the Tamashii Ramen shop, both fun restaurants to visit. Besides wearing masks inside, I did not see many other Covid precautions around the lounge and eating areas.

Bar has a REALLY good beer selection. prices are up there, but consistent with what you'd pay in most of Midtown. We sat at the bar and were served promptly. I'd say the one big thing they could improve is the parking; be ready to hoof it some blocks. Heard they have valet; didn't see anyone outside, but its possible we missed it bc it was dark.

I went here with my favorite cousin 2 weeks ago. Ah-mazing! The smells when you enter in the door. Spectacular! Smoked meat to Vegan salads and everything in between. We had a new kind of waffles even some w/chicken. (Waffle Champion is still my fave) Fantastic! We ordered 4 different kinds. No way to eat it all. The price was very affordable. You Could Eat For $3, $5 & $8!!! Extra for adding toppings. The waffles were so good but, we really wish we had gone for the fried pancakes down the hall. We sampled the lemon curd.......Wow! Choices to please literally everyone. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is alive. A real community experience. They have comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. Sit on a couch, an open bar stool, a large dining table, a private corner table, or a small outside brkfst table. The seating and refreshment choices are many. If there is any cons it was just because It took a minute to learn that the seating, silverware, napkins, drinks and waitstaff serve all the kitchens. I thought I took pics but can't find them. Oops.

I went to the collective for the first time today. And I have to say my anxiety was high but our Bartenders Caleb and Deprecia were absolute gold. They made our visit fun, calming and happy. They had no problems explaining the different beers on tap and they had constant smiles on their faces. We felt very welcomed at T|C because of these two bartenders.

Café De L'asie...OMG if you love spice the Honey Sriracha Chicken Po Boy and Japanese Spiced Fries were absolutely amazing!! Even went back for a Strawberry Banana Crepè-if you get the chance to visit definitely try them then hit up the bar with a live DJ! (at least there was one Saturday when we went) Overall a great experience I highly recommend this group of restaurants Edit: sadly this restaurant has moved to their own location :( Good for them but they will be missed. My new love here is the Nashville Chicken fried taco! Great when paired with their pineapple salsa! Also if you love a creative cocktail hit up Robin at the bar you will not be disappointed! The heated seats on the rooftop were amazing.

Cool vibes! Not much seating though versus the amount of people. Folks were literally staring at you, waiting for you to finish so they could sit and there were some that were standing up to eat. We had to yell at each other for conversation. The "waitress" kept asking if we were through. We had a little with us and there was no booster seat available, just high chairs which I would recommend investing in since there were so many others with stroller/littles. Lady at Okie Pokie was not helpful at all! Seemed like she hated her job. Date was 10.5.19 at 7pm. Also, parking was horrible to deal. This would be a great place for a date night. Not very kid friendly.

My husband and I ate at Beth Lyon's Black Cat. It is a gluten free kitchen. My husband had the flatbread pizza with cheese and chicken and I had the Yogi Bowl. Then we had their delicious cookies. My husband gave the pizza an 8 out of 10. That's great; he's a little picky.

okay, so my daughter and I visited this restaurant Monday. its a nice set up with out door eating options. the decor is swanky and my favorite color, yellow is throwing into the mix, so i really liked that. upon entering the restaurant you're met by a staff member who gives you details on how to order and youre given a laminated menu that is basically their "drink" menu and a layout of the restaurant. the menu has a barcode that you scan with your phones camera and the restaurants menus appear. there are several restaurants within the collective that you can choose food from. once you choose your food from the online menu you'll be sent a text message confirming your order and when your food is done. you actually go to the restaurant of your choosing and pick up your food. lastly, its set up for you to pay individually with each order, so if you are with friends or family each of you will need to order from the same device, if one person is paying. if you're eating Dutch, each individual will pay separately on their devices. also, you are made to tip the restaurant of your choosing and your waiter that really isn't your waiter, because everything is self service. so, in essence my overall view of this restaurant is that its for young tech savvy people. if you aren't tech savy or into the new wave of digital area, this restaurant probably isn't for you. the food was good and the prices are affordable.

Friday 12/6/2019Got there at 10:30 PM most of the places were closing . And 1/2 were closed . the taco place was still open and we had tacos they were really good. You would think the owners of the other places would stay open till at least 11. when you go to Google it says they’re open till 11. We drove from Norman. Bar side was packed. Owners please stay open till the time you say your open or just change your hours to 10pm. Really sucked to drive that far and fill like your putting out the employees working there when they fill sorry for you when you ask them why are y’all closed and they shrug their shoulders and say to us we don’t know LOL Thank you taco stand place for being open!! Really sweet people work there.

I think this will be my new go-to meetup spot. I love that there is a variety of food options for everyone in your group. We sat outside on the patio and appreciated the space and that a waitress comes out to take your drink order. We had Shaka, Oh baby!, a donut and Okie Pokie. Oh baby! was probably our favorite of that bunch. I took off a star because the music was far too loud outside and $10 valet (plus tip) is steep. Like many places downtown, parking sucks. I plan on coming back and trying more of the restaurants.

The atmosphere is nice, clean, well decorated. If you are someone that is well traveled & used to really amazing food this is just “ okay dishes “, definitely nothing that wowed us. Pretty pricey for just being okay food. It is loud but what would you expect. Probably the most annoying thing is every time you place an order every food stall asks you for a tip... just for taking your order. Extremely inappropriate & awkward! My sister in-law order a pokey bowl. She gets a pokey bowl that is on another level the most amazing thing you have ever eaten in Houston with 100s of ingredients, plus free soup, for $8. Her pokey bowl at the collective was outrageously expensive, tiny bowl & just a few ingredients to choose from. It’s cool to go inside & check it out but I definitely don’t need to go back. As a single person you could without batting an eye spend well over $100 just trying a couple of the places out with the pricing, tips they expect & drinks. Not sure how this place will last in the long run.

Right now, the cheesesteak is shining. And I am a regular visitor of Philadelphia and dined at Gino's just a month ago. I would put their cheesesteak up against Gino's any day plus Sunday. The fried tacos need some help. They have too much Asian fusion going on. For a good idea of what I think about a fried taco, look at Roberto's of the west coast. I'm going out there in a couple weeks and one of the places on my 'must do' list is Robertos. The best way I can describe it is a fried taco with slow roasted carne assada and then the usual like lettuce, cheese, tomatoes. But then you can dress it up at the chili and salsa bar. Putting things on it like kimchi just does not do it for me.

Visited the collective on a busy Saturday afternoon and tried out The Waffle Press. Really enjoyed the style of sit wherever, couch, bar, table and eat whatever you want or just get drinks and hang out. They have a prime location so you can always hop over from Bleu garten or find them easily on their own. The range of kitchens inside seems just right and the food was okay. They were a little busy for my liking but hey, the people seem to love them so go check out one of their offerings!

Great concept, though architects clearly did not apply sound engineering skills to putting the idea in practice: do *not* go there in rainstorms (heavy and long enough, the whole lower floor would fill with water). Caught there in a flash flood, I could not leave til the storm sufficiently subsided: in the space of an hour, puddles reached a few feet into every entrance, as well as an entire wall (originally garage doors). French drains and such are a simple concept; here, a necessary concept. Epic engineering fail.
