Normally don't eat on bourbon st due to the disqust but gave in to this little hole in the wall take out spot 50ft back. this is a tiny shop ran by Asian guy . meant for takeout. two seats , lots of boxes and storage items around. quick service. sandwich was insanely good. I ate it across street at a table outside the bodega. lady next to me commented 'it is the best po boy shop'..I agreed as I took photos of my sandwich. definitely recommend!

Steven RogusSimple unpretentious and delicious po-boy shop. This is how po-boys should be done, simple ingredients executed well not through esoteric test kitchens but through the voice of the masses.
Sitting and waiting for your sandwich feels unusually long until it arrives when you immediately realize the euphoria was well worth the wait.
Note never experienced sober, but this close to bourbon neither will you.

Phillip StranoSome of the best chicken fingers and hush puppies I have ever had. Ate here late night, after 2am, 2 nights in a row. About a 10-15 minute wait as everything is cooked fresh. Large portions, good price, you won't be disappointed.
Tom BI really don't know what to say other than this was one of the greatest chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Period.
The sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard with a sauce, from a list, of your choice. I honestly didn't notice the mustard and the sauce comes on the side.
Without thinking I just drizzled the sauce on one half of the sandwich and ate it. My taste buds exploded. I couldn't believe how good this thing was. The bites I had without sauce woke me up. I didn't need the sauce. This sandwich needed no sauce. It was fine just the way they intended it.
Get a chicken sandwich here.
Kelynne ReedMy boyfriend and I got takeout from Vieux Carre on our second night ever being in New Orleans! He got the fried catfish platter and I got bbq chicken wings. The catfish was delicious and the hush puppies that came with were the best we've ever had!!! The wings are meaty and tender, and the BBQ sauce is delicious! It's unlike any I had tried before; nice little kick to it.

Amy JI'm hesitant to even give 3 stars right now but I'll give the benefit of the doubt. I sincerely want the best for your place and every restaurant in my city....this is New Orleans and I want to be proud to recommend every single place in my hometown! I host out of town visitors several times per week and this is important to me. I ordered the "garlic parmesan" wings and they came with no flavor at all...ZERO flavor! This is unacceptable. I was told the garlic parmesan sauce would be on the side and it wasn't - it just came with ranch. You have to do better. The lemon pepper wings had a little flavor but it wasn't much - they could use more lemon pepper DUMPED all over them...take this into consideration please and I'm willing to give it another chance!!
