Reviews of The Country Club

First time here. The building is absolutely beautiful! All of the walls are handpainted and they have unique art everywhere. The service was really nice. I did try and look at the pool to see if I wanted to pay $20 to go swimming and the bouncer would not let me. All I could do was look through the window which only gives you a tiny glimpse of the pool so I'm not really sure if that was going to be worth it or not. I chose not to swim...thanks to the bouncer on that one. As far as the food and drink goes, the presentation was really nice and it looked delicious. It was good, but it was not the best I've ever had. 1-10 it was a 7. Based on the atmosphere alone, I would definitely go back and get into the pool area #1, and #2, I would probably try something else to eat and drink for another chance. 😉

Awesome drag brunch and blast of a time at the pool - a perfect birthday afternoon!
Food was great - we had chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese starter and shrimp n grits. Staff are lovely.
Loved the diverse and delving feel at the pool and the party continued - even in the rain.
Blast of a spot to spend an afternoon!

Came here for a day swim with a group of friends. 20 dollars to get into the pool and 2 dollars for a towel. Drinks are a little expensive when it’s not happy hour. The place is a nice chill vibe with good music.
The food on the other hand is well worth the price. The mac and cheese was phenomenal. Made with truffle oil, this added the most perfect touch to a classic dish.
The hamburger and chicken burger were also incredible. Flavourful, juicy, moist, all wrapped into one. And their fries are the tastiest I’ve had in NOLA.
Next time I’m coming just for food
James Onderdonk
The drag show was fantastic. I'm not usually a big fan of drag branches but the way they have it orchestrated works out perfectly. Each performer does three numbers perset, performing in different dining areas of the country club. What this means is that you have roughly two songs worth of time to enjoy your food and conversation with your friends before you get to enjoy a show. Then the next performer comes on and the process continues. I can confidently say that drag branches aren't known for their fantastic food but this place is the exception to that rule.

Bert and his staff were just over the top amazing. Our waiter was absolutely on point with describing the dishes and drinks. The outside pool and patio is a definitely must to visit. So bring swimsuits and towels so that you can eat and drink pool side.

The Country club is its own experience. I have been there for lunch brunch and dinner. Drag brunch is fabulous and the food is great. The atmosphere can depend on the crowd but the diversity is beautiful. I hear it was clothing optional before…… but never experienced the joy. Great to go during the summer to get drinks and lounge in the pool. Or great to get dressed up and sit down for a meal or an excellent cocktail.
Traveling Goose
This place is super cute and has such a fun energy about it. Every single member of the staff was absolutely fantastic. The bar makes some stellar drinks and the food is not only presented beautifully, but also tastes divine!! The only disappointment is that I live so close and didn’t come here sooner!
Joy Teed
A must experience stop. High style parlor dining with beautiful and unique dining rooms with custom paintings. The crab beignets were divine. Menu is limited but quality food. The pool is available for use for $20 a day.

I went for a bachelorette party and I knew we where going for brunch but that’s about all I knew, boy was I in for a surprise, it was a drag brunch! From the moment of walking up to the building and being greeted this place is an experience. The staff is all so friendly and fun, the decor is just as extra as the drag queens performing and changes per room. It was too cold to have gone to the back patio so I didn’t even know there was a pool in the back! The food was good. There where all groups of people, but you do need to be 21+ to enter I was carded upon entry. There where birthday, bachelorette and divorce parties there as well as smaller groups just going for brunch. It was pretty full and I’m not sure if reservations are required but based off of how busy it was I would recommend at least checking. The cocktail list is fabulous and the food was delish. I chose a simple chicken & waffles since that was a good option to start a day off for drinking, but they had a good amount of savory options that looked good to me as well.

We have gone several times to the Country Club of New Orleans for the Drag brunch because it is always a fun time with friends. On this visit there was a new entertainer added to the lineup and she was fantastic as are all the other entertainers. Keep in mind this isn't a Las Vegas show but the entertainers are definitely talented!! The food is pretty good but we go for the entertainment with a group of friends primarily. The service is uniquely different due to the kitchen and wait staff having to attempt to get everyone's order's and drinks at the tables in between performers and fun so expect delays a bit but we have noticed the wait staff really put forth thier best efforts despite the obstacles. We got our drinks right away but because the waiter takes orders for appetizers and entrees all at once for his/her entire section things tend to come out depending on which end of his/her section they started at! However the entertainers keep you busy so it isn't that big of a deal. We didn't care for the Bellini's too much but the Mimosas were okay. We enjoyed the Boudin Bullets as an appetizer and the Salmon dish was very good! The desserts were decadent and good! Definitely would recommend this establishment!! An open mind and determination to laugh and have a great time is all you should bring with you -- No Negativity at all occurred while we were there just lots of fun, which is refreshing now a days!

Initially I was disappointed our reservation was somehow cancelled and we lost a table and had to sit at the bar. The bar seats that were suggested were great for the show and ended up being the best seats in the house. We got our food and drinks faster than the tables. We had a great view of the drag show. It was so much fun and the food was amazing I don't even care if our reservation was cancelled. The pool was enjoyable too. The hot tub could use a little more cleaning out maintenance, but I'm sure it's hard to keep up with how many people are there on a holiday weekend. We will be back next time we visit New Orleans.

What a gem of a find on an unusually wintery afternoon as I walked/visited around Bywater! It was all expertly enabled by the friendliest and welcoming doorman turned venue tour guide, Tim. He showed me all the art work and different spaces/ambience to be enjoyed and then directed me to the pool/jacuzzi/outdoor deck. Lovely concept of spa luxury and great small bites/cocktails to enjoy a full day of relaxation. The bartender/server at bar was also very attentive, friendly and helpful. Really a really enjoyable day thanks to this combo of great staff + wonderfully executed venue to chill and be enjoyed at leisure. Thank you for giving me what I didn't know of I so needed :)

My friends and I had a great time at Drag Brunch on Saturday! The atmosphere and decor were fun, the food was very good, the staff were great, and the entertainment was a blast. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed dining here! Gives lowkey Commander’s Palace vibes. The art painted on the walls was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be back.
Now to the food: the crab beignets, caprese pasta, and basque cheesecake were all amazing, 5/5. The brussel sprouts did not have enough lemon or Parmesan, you should ask for extra, 3/5. The crab curry bisque was very bland, 1.5/5.
Mattlan Ladner
Had such higher hopes. LOVE the pool and environment but as for the food- subpar at best. The only things that are truly good are the chicken sandwich and fries. The brussels are basic. The fried green tomatoes are too thick and undercooked. The crabmeat beignets were decent. The truffle mac was a no. The sticky cauliflower wings are interesting and the sauce is good.
Kris Hulsing
Beautiful, inviting restaurant with high ceilings, well-dressed and mannered staff. The Burger and fries were on point and the fried-green tomatoes weren't our favorite but the sauce was worth getting the dish. Not overly expensive for the ambiance.
Meadow Gobert
Went for the popular drag brunch-rsvps a must. Performers were amazing. The place is wonderful. Service good considering a show was happening all around. We had the chilaquiles- great-, the smoky crab curry bisque- better than I thought it would be!- the polenta & poached eggs- good, but a little sloppy on the execution- bloodymary's really tasty, but their milk punches leave much to be desired. All in all a raucous good time to start our day. The Bywater is the best secret gem in New Orleans. Coming back when it's pool weather!
Matthew Enright
An all-around awesome one-of-a-kind brunch experience. Poached egg crab cake in a tomato butter sauce with a side of goat cheese grits - all delicious. All the talented and beautiful Queens performed their hearts out and the host was hilarious. I really hope they kept their blue suede shoes dry in the rain on their bicycle ride home.
samuel dean
Such an amazing and beautiful place. We came with a big group to swim in the pool and get drinks. Entry is 20$ and 2$ to use a towel, plus drinks and it turns into quite a spendy day. But this is an adultish pool, sauna and jacuzzi so you really get to pamper yourself. And its a big enough complex that your group can have their own space. Come here on a warm day to cool off and get refreshed.
Caitie Dost
Can’t wait to go back. Such a cool place with great drag brunch. The food was good, the people are nice, the queens are QUEENS- we had such an amazing time
Mitch B
Very good food, great wait staff, beautiful dining room and bar, and picturesque location come together for a great experience. Parking could be hard and pricing felt a little high but otherwise a must go. The appetizers of boudin balls and crab beignets might have been my favorite parts!
Martha Manzanares
Heated pool and DELICIOUS brunch. Get there early to get good spots to tan. The chicken and waffles were amazing.
Michael s.
Best Bloody Marys and Service. And the food is amazing and top chef and quality...... this place has the best of everything. Thank you POODLE for the drinks and attention to detail for me.
Carl Hasten
Our hotel pool was unheated so we were thankful to the recommendation from the bartender at Boondock Saint. Everyone is welcome to this establishment and it showed. The staff and clientele were all in good spirits and friendly with one another. My friend and I were able to sit back in a heated pool with mimosas, eat lunch and meet wonderful new people along the way.
Carol E
We loooooved our brunch at the country club! The fried green tomatoes Benedict with tomato gravy is so savory and kept me full the whole day, and our server Cody (Cody, I’m sorry if I’m spelling it wrong!) made the experience so enjoyable. We interacted a lot with the staff and performers, and they made it so fun!
Mark West
The food, service and experience are terrific. We even went out to the pool and had a great afternoon. It was packed!
Vinicius Fortuna
Beautiful place. LGBTQ-friendly. It was nice to chill by the pool. They have a jacuzzi and sauna too. Good food and cocktails.
Ryan Mitchell
Food is great but it's overshadowed by the atmosphere here. It's a perfect blend of upscale and chill that you can't find elsewhere in the city.
OuterSpaceLace
We attended a drag brunch here on our bachelorette party and it was so much fun! The food was AMAZING! I had chicken in waffles that were to die for. The location is beautiful. Its in an old house that is intricately designed in every room to the T. Each room is different but cohesive. The drag brunch itself was unique and unforgettable adventure. The performers were friendly, funny, and entertaining. I believe they said it was voted the best drag brunch in the country and I can see why. Highly recommend.
Nicolas Souza
Food was good, entertainment was great. Great location for birthday, brides party.
Thomas Sticklorat
Happy hour at the pool on a week night. Had it all to ourselves for a couple of hours and maybe a total of ten people total before we left. This will not be your experience on a weekend though. Food good as always.
Dana Roth
This place was amazing! I had no expectations but I was absolutely blown away! We were visiting from DC and this was my first time in NOLA! My bf and I had the best time chatting with the servers and the security guards at the front! We sat on the front porch and had one of the most incredible meals of my life. So thankful for this place and our amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back.
Stacy Lewallen
Great fun! Highly recommend. Food and drinks were really good too. Not accessability friendly (stairs).
Meagan LeDoux
Drag brunch is so so fun! It’s one of the best drag shows in the city and it’s always booked up months in advanced. So make your reservation like now. The brunch offerings are delicious. Great value and not overpriced… you pay for what you order and tip the performers.
Rena Patel
Very good excellent service and beautiful venue. Parking is hard to find so give yourself extra time. The mussels were excellent. The chillaquiles were okay as I'm from Texas I can be a little hard to please. Not very spicy but decent. The coffee was drip and amazing as were the drinks. The pool is also open now. Patio dining is great here. They do have security and they do temperature checks before allowing you entry.
Maker Cuisine
Great place, the pool is so much fun and brunch is a lot of fun
Portia S.
This was a nice oasis in the crazy awesome chaos that is Mardi Gras. Beautiful building, fun people, relaxing pool and jacuzzi. The poolside bar is great. Fun times!
Garrett Stone
Great spot to grab some drinks. Wasn't crowded. Staff was great. Atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. Drinks were inexpensive. Couldn't ask for anything more. I'll definitely go back.
Christopher Tearno
What a wonderful place. Beautiful surroundings, great food and very friendly staff. The music and the art displayed was also fantastic. I had such great day relaxing and enjoying the pool, sauna and hot tub.
Andreana Rogers
Always a friendly warm 🙏🏽 staff & customers. Awesome bartenders...Clinton & Phil are truly talented, they make some of the best cocktails... even mocktails are super good lol. GREAT neighborhood plenty historical sites to see and shop......
JC
We came here on the fourth of july in hope of beating the heat. We brought snacks (which is not allowed) but the bartender let us check our bag and get it back when we were ready to leave. it is 20 dollars to get to the pool, but if you are spending the whole day there the price was justified. We also got lunch. We got the caprese pasta, mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes, chicken sandwich and the fried cauliflower. The cauliflower was easily the best thing! It was perfectly done and so good. The rest of the food was very tasty too and came out in a timely manner despite all the people there. There was alot of people at the pool. The bar is right next to the pool and is easy to get to. Overall, it feels like you are at a pool party at your super rich friends house. Very neat, good food and quick service!

The best hidden gem we discovered during our week in New Orleans! The decor is absolutely amazing, the service was by far the best we had all week, and the food was the freshest and tastiest we had any restaurant in the city. We had the privilege of attending the Drag Brunch as well as a normal dinner and if you get a chance, make the reservation 6 months out it's totally worth it!!!!
Bethany Marie
Booked the drag brunch for a birthday party. Queens did amazing, great performances and lots of interaction! Our waitress was so great and kind. The food was good! Sadly, we were overcharged about $50 and the $25 deposit per person was not on the bill like the website said it would be. Also the guy doing security was incredibly rude 20 minutes after the show, instead of shushing us he screamed at us to "shut the f up" multiple times and was so aggressive for no reason. He tried to kill the vibe but that was not happening!
Carol Hutchison
This was a fantastic dining experience! The food was excellent as well as the ambiance and the service. We has fried green tomatoes, chilaquiles, and shrimp and grits... We will come back!
Saje Sorina
The Country Club was a great experience. Very welcoming and relaxing environment. It was perfect for our ladies brunch date. We enjoyed the food and mimosas, talked and enjoyed the view for over 4 hours! We loved it!
Texanna J
Sooo many yummies. Get the milk punch!!!! We are so happy we found this place! Even with the drag brunch on hold we had a great time. Service was excellent. Boudin balls were a special treat, fresh mustard seed was delicious. The crab cake had the yummiest roasted pepper sauce. The shrimp and grits were so creamy, the shrimp was cooked well. The chiliqiiles were also delicious. This place really knows how to prepare their eggs. Recommended for ambiance, cozy date or a night out with friends.
Brian Porcello
Atmosphere inside is nice and pretty. But the food??? Those are NOT AND NEVER WILL BE CHILAQUILES!!
It was tortilla chips from a bag around chicken. With some waterery salsa liquid. It's beyond disrespect to call that CHILAQUILES and I'm not being dramatic. Your service nachos. Also it's only a hand full of chips. LEARN WHAT SOMETHING IS before you put it on the menu. Most of the chops were dry. Do you know what this dish is? It's supposed to be drenched and cooked is sauce. Not drizzled in water salsa. The pool was dirty inside too. And they charge 20 to use the pool but you have to go inside and order your own food???
MissTx5
Everything on the menu here is tasty!! I was stuffed and happy at the end of my meal 🙂
There’s a real relaxing vibe in the dining room, and the staff is very friendly.
Ok definitely be returning!
Yuribel Alejo
Super chic brunch spot with yummy food. This place is perfect for a bachelorette weekend brunch. They have bottomless mimosas with a purchase of an entree which doesn’t get better than that. The service was magnificent as well. I am so glad i was able to brunch here.
Jason Lim
We attended the Country Club for their Sunday drag brunch to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. The venue is spectacular. So much history and charm. The performances were really good too, just a little disappointed that the performers took place in 4 different areas/rooms so we missed some of the show.
The food was so-so. It looked amazing but was just a bit heavy and flavorless.
All-in-all I would definitely stop in again when I visit New Orleans again.
Tj Gross
Amazing service Aaron was a fantastic server
Charlie LaRock
Awesome place to grab some sun and swim or hit the hot tub. Great bartenders. Watch out for one of the managers though, shes very confrontational and pretty rude for no reason...
Ashley B
The space itself is worth the trip. What a beautiful resteraunt. Be sure to make a reservation for brunch as it's difficult to walk in and be sat within an hour. The brunch menu is out of control good. Bottompess mimosas are worth it, this is NOLA after all. Be sure to go to be bathroom if you're an interior design nerd.
Leanne Miller
Just okay. Staff is rude, not friendly at all. And really....?! $15 to swim in your pool? Couldn't it come with a free drink? Even if it was a not so strong drink? Just makes you feel like you got something for this garbage place. Is the pool made of gold? Found out it was not. Music was also good. Couldn't stomach paying another $15 for a drink. Facilities were amazing and probably the only thing that saved this review. Clean. Smelled good. Stocked. Great bathrooms, rude staff.
Travis Thompson
The food is great. The pool is great. The staff is great. What else can be said? For the veggie folks .. the fried green tomatoes. Is 5 bucks, is a whole meal, it's the best in the city. Also, the Thai noodle salad is crazy good. Here's some pics from the pool on a slow day.
Agrita Dubey
I came here with my friends for our first brunch of 2020. Food was amazing and so as the service. The club is a nice cozy place with beautiful decor. The walls are painted with big flowers.
A. S.
Beautiful building with art on every wall. I loved the plant paintings in the entry way and the flowers in the dining area. Vegan options are limited. I got a small salad and brussel sprouts which were pretty good. The cocktails could be larger for the price. My waitress was very attentive, however she needed deordorant.
Rebecca Victoria
You HAVE to go. My friends and I went to The Country Club twice during our weekend in New Orleans. Once for drinks and once for the drag brunch on Saturdays. The decor is different in each room and hand-painted by an amazing artist. There is so much to look at! The food is decadent & delicious and the service friendly. The crab beignets are especially good. We wanted to go to drag brunch for my 30th bday without a res and were told to get there early. We did so and were able to get seats at the bar! 💕
Abby Roskind
This place is so fun and beautifully decorated. Great place to go with friends or to just enjoy solo. I’m excited to go back once the cabana grill area is open. Very friendly staff.
Jeanette Clement
The shrimp and grits was really good. The drag brunch was okay, not bad but not wow either. Love the murals on the wall!
Ashleigh Evans
An absolute must for a NOLA experience. Great brunch, amazing performers and just an all out good vibe. Perfect for groups!
Don L
I was really looking forward to going to The Country Club based on positive reviews and recommendations from several friends. Most of the reviews and recommendations were based on brunch. I couldn't get a brunch reservation, so I opted for dinner thinking that the food and service would be just as good. Unfortunately, that was not at all the case.
When I made my reservation, I asked for outdoor seating so I could be by the pool. When I arrived and checked in (after waiting about 5 minutes for the hostess to return to the front desk), I found out that for outdoor dinner seating is only available on the front porch. Maybe not as nice a view, but still OK.
I was seated and then waited a bit long for water to arrive. The wine list (by the glass) was decent and I ordered a Montepulciano from Italy. The waitress brought me a glass of white wine and seemed confused when I told her that I ordered a Montepulciano. Once I told her that I ordered a "red wine" she understood that a mistake had been made and asked me to point out the wine I wanted on the menu. The correct wine arrived shortly. Not the best Montepulciano I've ever had, but not terrible.
Warm bread and butter arrived about this time and, sadly, was the best food of the evening. The bread was crusty outside and soft but chewy on the inside. Perfect!
I ordered the Crabmeat Beignets for an appetizer. They took a while to arrive, but not overly long. Unfortunately, I would call what arrived more of a fritter or coquette rather than a beignet. While you could taste the crab, they pieces were overcooked on the outside to the point of almost being burned. They were also very greasy. The green leaves and onions on top were the best part of this dish.
For the main course, I ordered the Oysters with Capellini. It arrived in a timely fashion and looked nice. Unfortunately, the oysters varied from almost raw to overcooked (to the point of being tough). The sauce was thin and mostly devoid of taste. The mushrooms had the most flavor.
Service was spotty throughout. Not terrible, but definitely not great.
I may go back for brunch sometime, but dinner is not in my future at The Country Club.
Jessica Mizell
We went in for a chill brunch and ended up sitting at the bar, surrounded by gorgeous performers, music blasting Gloria Gaynor. It was amazing. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The food was top notch. (Try the chicken and waffles) Wonderful atmosphere if you want to be surrounded by people in bathing suits having a wonderful time.
Chris Tucker
Food was good, though they seemed to be aiming a little above their current skill and finesse levels. Service was what you'd expect at a chain restaurant in a sad, dying stripmall. They need to be trained in fine or elevated dining service if they're going to sell the restaurant that way. Or maybe get some on-point queens who know their stuff.
Isaiah Poellnitz
Very nice style. Not as pretentious as the name or photos imply. Great people, great food, a bit pricey. I am definitely going back for the pool.
Glenn Newman
Visiting from Atlanta and came for brunch. Read reviews about a drag show that we did not see. The game was on so music only played during commercials but the vibe was very energetic. Had a great rum punch and the crab cakes were amazing!! Service was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Chicken and waffles left something to be desired. Fries green tomatoes were pretty good as well. The sauce that came with them was really good!
Daniel Tan
The food is consistently excellent while the atmosphere remains consistently eclectic. For those seeking well executed dishes in a Bywater establishment that stands out on it's own, then this is a great spot for you.
Chloe Blair
Such a gorgeous spot! Beautiful bar, great food (with options for everyone) and a very accommodating staff. Highly recommend it 🥰 …
Alex Gonzales
Friendly service. The food is excellent. The pool is always warm (honestly wouldn’t mind if it were a couple degrees cooler). Get there before noon on hot days for the best chance of getting lounge chairs. Bring your own towels to save $2 and bring a water bottle to use their filtered water station.
Josh Lesko
Fantastic brunch options and bottomless mimosas for $15. The lox usually runs out, so be sure to plan ahead. After eating, the members' area is a great way to lounge the day away. Overall the perfect place to rally after enjoying the culture of the French Quarter.
Sydney Way
My local friends took me here for the first time while I was visiting NOLA. I got the Chicken and Waffles - so disappointing that the Chicken was WAY over cooked. It was dark brown and hard, making it hard to eat. The waffle was completely dry. There is NO way it was made fresh. Seriously, I can't get a freshly made waffle? Tried my friend's beef dish and it had no flavor whatsoever. Our appetizer was delicious though.
Beautiful place and love all the decor and that each room has it's own wall paintings and personality. The bar area looked fun and nice. We didn't catch it during a drag time but that probably would've been fun. The endless mimosas were great and they did a good job keeping those coming. The service was also great.
I would go back because of the atmosphere/look, mimosas, service, and it was obvious they had good food but we may have caught them on a bad day. It was just unfortunate because I was in NOLA for a conference and had maybe a total 4 hours of free time the whole 5 days I was there, and this was the second and last restaurant I was able to go to before flying out, and both restaurants were disappointing.
Ej Jackson
Best brunch place located in Bywater in a nicely renovated house....Nice bar area, pool out back ,Front porch seating. Bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday. Brunch is usually packed so arrive early or make reservations. Great staff and atmosphere.
Jessica A
Great place for a girls date or just a day brunch with friends. The mimosas are great. Bottomless for 18$ and the chicken and waffles were delicious. Service was quick and the drags queens were very entertaining.
Twin Jamo
Enjoyed this venue. Definitely wish I would've came back and jumped in the water. Overall, there was just a great vibe here.
Lo La
Gay brunch was very fun. My friend got sick from bottomless mimosas, probably cause she downed them and didn't know how to control herself. Rest of us were fine. Crabcake and Fried Green Tomatoes with Eggs were great. Lots of music to groove to. Bring singles for the entertainment.
James S
The brunch menu was somewhat pricey and the food underwhelming for the price. Would highly recommend making reservations before arriving here.
Victoria Torres
Delicious! Incredible service, a bit pricey. They have a pool but its $15 to get in during the weekend, $7.5 to get in during the week. You have to spend $15/person in food in order to access their $18 bottomless mimosas, otherwise its $30.
Katie Horton
The staff here are amazing. Incredibly kind and thoughtful, and they really went out of their way to help my partner and I in a crisis. The fries were perfection and whatever the creamy/mustardy type sauce they came with was delicious.
Alex Portanova
I love the Country Club. The food and atmosphere is amazing. Every time someone has visited me I have taken them here.
Lynn
We had a grand time! Food was delicious and the entertainment was phenomenal :).
Joshua Elzy
Great happy hour drinks+food and such a fun drag brunch. A highlight of New Orleans.
Vince Allen
Country Club has a beautiful southern elegance atmosphere with some good ‘ol Drake bumping in the background. They have fantastic gourmet food with a unique twist. I can’t wait to discover more when I come again and check out their outdoor pool/bar and county club facilities.
Josh Scott
I must say I understand why they had to change certain rules and raise the price but I still miss the way it used to be. Clothing optional, outside beverages were allowed, only $5. I think they should do a clothing optional night once a week, even once a month would be cool. Just call it a private party or something
Diana Serna
Beautiful place, great service and amazing food. We had chicken and waffles and it was delicious!!!!
Victoria Graves
Great spot! Beautiful indoor dining rooms and bar, outdoor bar, pool, and hot tub. Great food served until 9pm on week days & 10pm on weekends. Philip is a great bartender!!
William Potter
Great food and fun drag show. Not the climbing on the rafters and death drops kind of show, but the queens had great headdresses.

Phenomenal food as well as a nice place to eat. It's a wonderful experience to eat a fancy southern style meal on a porch of an old mansion on a nice day.
There's also a pool in the back, but you have to pay for a pass (half off if you had food there), as well as a suana and hot tub. Nothing particularly special about them, but they are there.

Been geauxing for years, and had never done dinner. Was wonderful! I apologize I can't remember the name of the dish.

I been hearing so much about this place and I finally stop by while I'm in town. The bartender didn't even tell me his name. But on my bill his clerk # 158. He was unattending, when I wasnt sure about what kind of drink I wanted he didn't step in to help. When I told him give me a minute he walked into some room. I told him that it was my first time. I think he wasn't a people person or he was ready to go home. Not friendly. Dont want to place the race card but I saw how he was interacting with the blacks vs the whites. And he interacting with the whites better. I gave 3 stars because the food was delicious 😋. I will return again and hope that he will be a different bartender..

Haven't been here for years until recently, it's exactly as I remember and the drinks are still great

Took 20+ employees for celebration dinner this evening. Awesome food, one of a kind ambiance and outstanding service. Thank you guys for a very special evening
Blacdadi Strahberies
I and my chic friends meet here to have lovely top shelf cocktails and enjoy the ambience

A fabulous place for brunch, but reserve your table ahead of time. Come for the delicious food and stay for the entertainment. Great service!!
Nicole Dobry
Fun place for brunch! Great atmosphere and variety of brunch dishes. The smoked salmon with cream cheese was delicious.
Scott V
6 month wait on reservations or be there early for bar seating. Must go to spot if visiting NOLA. Amazing food, spectacular entertainment
Jose Burgos
If you're looking to escape the NOLA heat this place is a must! For a moderate price you can enjoy a private pool with a nearby bar and good food.
Chris Narine
If you are looking for a place to spend the day with good food, good drinks and a pool you definitely found the right place. Oh yeah the sauna and hot tub is really nice as well. Definitely recommend it after a weekend of drinking.

When The Country Club comes to mind adjectives such as shangri-la, nirvana or 7th heaven pop out at me. Eat here. Drink here. Lounge here. Make a reservation. Enjoy!!
Vitalijs Kurjanovics
Nice atmosphere and friendly stuff. Menu is on the smaller side, but that is not necessarily a bad sign. Had a fish main course, which was good. Drinks and appetizers were good too. The table was rather small for our party of 4. Overall, a very nice evening, however not spectacular. Will definitely go again.
Phil Wingo
Great lunch , definitely will come back for more

Wonderful ambiance. The salmon special was very good. The Steak off the menu was extremely tough and chewy. Taste was not bad but it was just a pile of meat on the plate. Waiter was ok but sort of rushed us in that while we were in the middle of our meal he was asking us if we were going to have dessert. We would go back but wouldn't order the steak.
Sofia Duque
I'm glad I chose the country club for my friends who were out of town. We enjoyed the ambiance and the food - the vegan ceviche is worth repeating. We also enjoyed our bartender, Phillip, who helped us celebrate the start of residency! He was attentive from the start and had excellent customer service.
Stacie Easterwood
Great food and even better service. One of my favorite places in NOLA.
Brianna Cunningham
I absolutely love this place! The drinks are tasty and the food is very good. The menu is very diverse. My drink was so nice and smooth. The food portions are a nice size and you could easily share a few meals with friends. ✨
eric
Best Sunday brunch ever. This place is beautiful and amazing.
John Thompson
Good food and great pool area. Most items for brunch aren’t sold during the week but the chilaquidas (I think that’s how you spell that) were amazing.
Sushi Deflare
Delicious..there a pool in the back. Didnt get to see it. But people were coming and looking good. Food is amazing
martin courtade
Love this place
Amazing food
Pool and hot tube are awesome and every one is super friendly
Dylan Chapman
A hidden gem! Very inviting and friendly staff, made you fall in love with the place. The Country Club has wonderful food, but the environment and ambience is even more amazing. I mentioned the staff, but the overall design and decorum is very tasteful with a blend of both fine and casual dining that really makes you enjoy the entire experience even more.
Mary Dailey
Fantastic menu, great tasting, wonderful service, eclectic space combining old mansion house look with trendy bar & hip art. Women's bathroom is worth a visit for it's unique design.
Marjje Blanco
Everything was so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Brunch to the pool area!!! We’ve been here a whole week from Texas and it’s definitely the best experience so far in New Orleans……, Your Staff was superior 💕 Thank y’all so much
Luke Sedgeman
Great place to relax near a pool and people watch. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff was very friendly. There were a surpring amount of empty chairs for how crowded it was. A lot of people seemed content to just hang out in pool the whole time.
Nicole Wilson
Fabulous time at the drag Brunch! Fried green tomatoes were spectacular!
Kuriositea Travels
I absolutely adore this place! Loved the food, especially the brunch. The pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are a plus...how many restaurants have that?
Erica Yoskowitz
Was so excited to bring my friend here for her Bach…the service was great and quick, everyone was super friendly. I’ve been to multiple drag shows and was very underwhelmed by the queens I’m sorry. Performance was mostly them walking around taking money, I expect more. Food was mediocre.
Leroy Jackson Jr
We had a great time the atmosphere was awesome so much fun everybody was enjoying themselves...

Happy hour small plates on our first day in NOLA.
Fabiola Hernandez Mulnix
We attended the drag show brunch for my bacherlorette weekend in NOLA. The food, people, performances, host, etc was amazing! It was so much fun, we are loved our time here. I even got a cookie and shout out for our celebration (cookie had my initials with a heart and my fiancés intials--such a sweet gesture). Make sure to book a reservation in advance, it was super easy to do so too.
Michael Hays
I honestly didn't get anything or drink anything, I just lounged while my friend did her thing. She seemed to enjoy her drink, that's for sure. Then we enjoyed each other, so yeah, I enjoyed the Country Club
Yvette Bullock
It was absolutely amazing. We didn't have reservations so had to sit near the pool. The ambiance was totally breathtaking. When we were seated the bartender early greeted us. Our server was amazing and was so patient with us. The manager/owner came by to check on us. Coupled with the delicious food, this place is nothing less than fantastic.
tara madden
Love the happy hour. Service at the bar was great
Sara Brandin
Fantastic brunch! Great Bloody Mary. Great atmosphere.
Georgie G
Had dinner at the bar. The salad and appetizers were delicious we had the cauliflower and pork rinds. The steak comes alone and looked pretty good but was cold. 3 of us had the Pasta which would have been good but the cheese was in clumps and hard to chew and swallow. The shrimp I added was good and very large.
Sparkle Goddess Dr. Mari Ziolkowski
Driving through the Marigny neighborhood, you can easily miss this place... Looks like another beautiful ante-bellum home here in Nola - but wait - go inside and you'll find a bar and restaurant! And take a few more steps and you are outside again in a courtyard surrounded by trees, with a refreshing salt-water pool right in front of you (even good for lap-swimming)! If you get chilled, never fear - there is a fire going outside and a sauna inside! Well worth the $20 drop in fee...
Kim H.
Amazeballs food and lots of it. Drag brunch is a lot of fun. Be sure to get there early, it fills up quickly.
Jessica Noonan
This place is amazing! From the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere/decor, the music, the service- all fabulous! The security man who checked our ID’s (John Lindsey ?) was also very friendly and welcoming! He even took a great group photo for us upon request to capture our last memory here in Nola ! Can’t wait to come back when drag brunch is back in action!
Ramona G.
A flawless experience, even on a Monday night! Our server was adorable, warm, sweet, accommodating. The food was some of the best I've had in New Orleans, or anywhere. Ambiance, perfect! Give this place a Michelin star or two!
Rachel
Brunch was awesome. Staff was great.
Özgür Öge
$15 entrance fee is a little too high I think. The pool was a little too overcrowded as well. They have decent variety of drinks.
jay bourgeois
Great food, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere and good music.
Rebecca Knight
Make sure to make a reservation and enjoy the best brunch! Plus, make your own bloody marys.
Brittany Dorner
Delicious food and drinks in an unparalleled atmosphere!
Jim Paluzzi
A truly awesome place in the Bywater. The truffle Mac and Cheese is amazing. And the mussels in Saffron broth is incredible. After the mussels were gone, we took out the spoons and bread to finish off the broth!
Marsh Henderson (Marsh)
Nick was a great server and gave excellent cocktail reccs.
Cici Clark
Beautiful decor and great food! Dessert was a must as well.
Alyssa Carter
Went here for dinner while visiting NOLA for a date night. Walls are painted with gorgeous murals and dining rooms are large but comfortable. Bar is modern and hip. Staff was 5 star and friendly. We enjoyed our meal - the salad dressing on the house salad was so delicious. The evening we went was the weekend and just happened to be quiet inside the restaurant - unlike the rest of NOLA. I very much enjoyed the warm and welcoming restaurant. I would highly recommend here for a date night if visiting NOLA and unsure of where to go :)
Emily Crow
This was a fantastic place. The decor is stunning and the food is outstanding. Super fun for brunch. My local friend says. . ."when beef debris is on the menu, order beef debris." Everything was excellent. I had the shrimp and bottomless mimosas. My glass was never empty. The Drag brunch is very worth a visit. It gets really loud once the show starts so don't plan on talking.
Phil Mann
Stunning food and wonderful decor. Sit in the rooms decorated with classic oils right on the walls or in the bar with a more futuristic mashup of classic portraiture and neon collage.
Service is attentive and kind, but they are super busy on holidays so expect a bustling experience.
In a higher dollar bracket for the food but its reflected in the quality of the plate. Wonderful flavors and presentation and an all around recommended dining experience.
Carolyn Knoepfler
A definite place to go in the Bywater. Great food, wonderful service. Jeremy was an awesome waiter.
Nathalie Alarcon
I enjoyed the pool there very queer and LGBTQ friendly and my favorite was the sauna. $20 not bad for the pool day
Erin Page
Beautiful inside and the food is delicious. Specifically, I saw that the crab beignets were mentioned in a different review that was really negative, but they sounded so delicious on the menu that I had to try them anyway. I am so glad I did! They were crunchy and full of oozy garlicky cheese filling. So yum! The other dishes I tried were also very good and I'm so happy I came here after a visit to Crescent Park.

Food and drinks always great!!

Great drinks, awesome staff. Really comfortable atmosphere to have a few drinks.
Reyne Terrebonne
Drag Brunch is a whole experience and I couldn't love it more!
Monique Jordan
The pool is very nice, the vibe was great, but the food I ordered was okay, I played it safe. The people who works there are very friendly.

This place has a lovely atmosphere with great wall decor. The food is very good. If your feeling hot definitely check out the pool. Staff is friendly helpful and attentive. I recommend the fried oyster salad and the fried green tomatoes. Had a blast and will certainly be back. Saturdays is drag brunch.
Alana Jennings
So good! Phenomenal dishes, fantastic service, and a GORGEOUS setting!!
Hasib B
Been here a number of times, consistently excellent dinner
Reggie Seay
Excellence on all levels, except parking, a consequence of the neighborhood. Kitchen serves well-prepared, fresh foods with a flair. The bar has a few creative drinks - one of which, The Creole Cocktail, makes my top ten list - and is otherwise very solid and great fun. Wonderful people-watching. Very good service. Very fair prices. Top-notch ambience, and very clean. Well done, Country Club!
Kristen Murphy
Friends and I stopped in for a drink. The inside is beautiful and so unique! I ordered the Country Club Lemonade and it was so refreshing. Tried the My Favorite Effen Cocktail and it was good but I am not a huge cucumber fan, but I could drink it! The servers were very friendly. This place came highly recommended and we would recommend it as well!
Jodi Dever
The service and drinks are great. Just don’t eat here.
They serve lousy food at premium prices. The first time there I got the strawberry salad and a fish entree. The fish was slimy. It was over cooked in some parts and under cooked in others. The salad was edible but nothing special. I figured it may have been an off night and think the menu sounds good so decided to give it another shot.
The second time, I got the Blue Crab Bisque and Hearts of Palm ceviche. The 4oz crab bisque was way too salty and had no chunks nor visible pieces of crab. After eating that, the ceviche seemed completely flavorless and the “house made” tortilla chips reminded me an awful lot of HOLA NOLA. I’m glad I got it to go because at least I could add seasoning. I was irritated to have spent $30 on such an unsatisfying meal.
Eliot kamenitz
Really great atmosphere and wait staff. Nice bar. The food, depending on what you order is hit or miss by a large margin. If you order the Chateaubriand for 2 it is absolutely wonderful. Cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. And nice fresh vegetables. If you order the oysters and pasta again a winner. However if you order the coconut shrimp you will be sorely disappointed it is rather bland. The same goes for the muscles steamed in a curry sauce. Very little sauce and very low on spice.
Oblina Noir
This place is such a freaking gem! Seriously one of the greatest spots in the city. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The food portions are on the small side, but every bite of every item is God dam magical. Get the Mac and cheese for sure! The drinks are great and super reasonably priced, especially during happy hour, but also always. And the pool. That pool. Thank god for that pool, it's the only reasonable place to swim in the city. And it's the perfect temperature year round! During weekdays it isn't overly crowded, but even at the busiest times it's still really fun! These guys also play the BEST music from my childhood (or at least my semi decent years) at the perfect volume.
In conclusion- this place is everything that is good. Spend your entire life here.
Sahara Peters
Love the concept! A pool, a bar, food, music! Exactly what you want on a hot Nola afternoon! The decor and ambiance were great! Everything was well maintained and clean. I would definitely go back. Only reason for 4 stars is the price. I understand charging cover, my only question is if that is the right price? Just thinking maybe the pool pass could go towards a happy hour drink, or something along those lines. Also, this place has the potential to get very crowded! Great for people watching, bad if you just want to nap peacefully by a calming saltwater pool. Just a heads up!
James Cooper
Lovely service, great decor and even better food!

A TRUE HIDDEN TREASURE IN NEW ORLEANS. ! IF YOU HAVENT BEEN, IM SORRY FOR YOU. .THIS IS A MUST DO IN NEW ORLEANS. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE....! EXCEPT FOR THE BROS... NOBODY LIKES THE BROS. EW
James Murray
One of the most atmospheric places in New Orleans to enjoy a well made cocktail poolside or in the hot tub. They also have well prepared, locally inspired food.
Bree Babineaux
Excellent food! Service has been slow at times, however the atmosphere of The Country Club is definitely meant to be more relaxed than your average restaurant, so I’ve never found it an issue. Eating inside is fine, it’s decorated lovely, but outside is the place to be!! Great pool area, cabana and tables to eat at, drinks, and consistently fun people. 💜
Tadgh Weekly
This establishment has been around for 40 years or so. The salt water chilled and heated pool Cabana bar inside bar dining rooms all very nicely done. Extremely clean. Staff is extremely helpful and quick very entertaining great conversationalist. Menu is always great specials are awesome moderately priced and can be a place where you can go by yourself and then make you feel rigjt at home. Great wine list at extremely talented bartender.
Ashley Ruffin
This place was EVERYTHING. The food, entertainment, drinks, and atmosphere was amazing. I went for brunch and was NOT disappointed. Make sure you make reservations or go early for a good seat.
Jay Darcy
Best meal in New Orleans! I loved everything about my dinner at the Country Club and am already looking forward to returning. First off, the food is AMAZING. I started with the crab beignets, which were as delicious as they were unique. I had the roasted shrimp for my entree, which were also wonderful and unlike any I'd had before - excellently seasoned and prepared. I wasn't planning on getting dessert, but everything was so good, I couldn't resist. The butterscotch bread pudding topped with stout ice cream was simply superb! Even the plating of the dishes was top notch. I feel like I had a Michelin star meal at a fraction of the price. While not cheap per se, it was definitely the best value I've seen in NOLA considering the quality and quantity of the food. Worth every penny. Shout out to my server, Ashley, who was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. Highly recommend!
Sadeem Salem
After reading many reviews, I didnt really know what to expect. Some reviews made it sound like a bath house for men only, other reviews sounded like the bar is close to the public.
1/27/2020 we went there for brunch. It's a gay bar that welcomes everyone. Everybody there was nice and kind. The place is so nice and colorful with so many cool wall art work. The food was amazing. There was a drag brunch when we went and it was so much fun. The pool is available to the public, its $15 per person and its heated pool. We didnt go to the pool though, but some reviews made it sound like a clothing optional pool, we asked and it is NOT clothing optional. You have to cover up.
Danielle Fontaine
We went for the Saturday drag brunch. Just an all around good experience! The food was great. I had the fried green tomatoes and eggs and I loved it. Best Brunch I had in New Orleans. The performers were so much fun and the bottomless mimosas were an awesome deal. Good for large and small groups. Also the interiors were gorgeous!
Lauren Brownlow
Lovely space and great food options. A fine wine list as well. However, staffing seems difficult and one would have wanted a back waiter or second server to help with the overflow. But, since we were seated without a reservation maybe we can't be too picky about a hurried/harried server.
Keith Bird
Place is gorgeous, but in a sketchy neighborhood. Service was great, but only had 9 items for entree starting at $18 so you better bring your card. Then we heard about there was a pool with a bar outside for $15. I'm hear to tell you don't waste your time and money going outside. It basically serves as the community pool. Once outside we felt out of place like is this the same upscale restaurant we entered? In all honesty I wouldn't go back, just stay in the French quarter.
Irem Yoruk
Very good food and ambiance
Thomas Harrison
All around great place. No matter the season something is always happening. Every Thursday is meet the locals with an extended version of cocktail hour plus live music. The pool/sauna/ hot tub are is great for any temperature out side. Pool is heated so a winter swim is refreshing. In the warm mouths the pool is always busy, make sure to bring your hottest swim wear!!.I would recommend showing up as early as possible. Saturday drag brunches are just too much fun and the bottomless mimosas make it over the top. I love this place!!!
E S
This is an ok spot. Dont know if the inside is the same service as outside. Outside drinks were weak. Had to add more liquor to everything. Im not a strong drink person but these were super weak. Wasn't crowded do to the cloudy day. Good for the college/young person crowd. Will try inside next time.
Paige Day
The food was pretty good but almost every entree we ordered was short an ingredient - no nuts on the salad, one set of fries not salted, etc. Overpriced for the quality. The inside is gorgeous though and the pool day is very reasonable. The waitress forgot our beers and although she was “nice” , she was completely unhelpful. Overall 3 stars and eat somewhere else - just enjoy the pool.
Paula Cardoso
Upscale yet casual place, around 5pm on a weekday, was not crowded at all. We didn’t dine in just went straight to the pool, there was a $15 daily pass fee. You get full access to the sauna, hot tub and big communal pool. Happy hour was until 7PM and well drinks were only $3. Ordered some desserts later in the night - kitchen closes at 9PM. We tried almost all the dessert and the bread pudding was the absolute best!! We stayed til closing, 1AM, and all agreed it was a day well spent. Ideal spot to visit and cool off from the NOLA heat.
jojofromtx
Amazing brunch spot. The food was incredible and reasonably priced for brunch. All you can drink mimosas. If the weather is nice, opt for outside seating. The staff was also nice and welcoming. Definitely will return. Love from Houston, TX!
Parker Feldman
Saturday morning drag brunch was awesome. We had four couples there for a birthday party. It lasts about 2.5 hours. Food was great, drinks were great, and the entertainment was even greater. We got lucky and got our res the day before because of a cancelation. Apparently you need to book about 6 months out to get a res normally.
Cedric Wilson
Very good food and atmosphere after going for the first time, I would love to go again!
Alexander Campbell
Really good goat cheese grits, great bartenders, and a busy and fun pool area. A great spot on a hot day!
Louis and Elaine
We always go on Fridays mornings and every thing and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Saturday and Sunday may be more crowded. The pool is heated in the Winter and chilled in the Summer so it is great year round. The hot tub is large and kept nice and warm.
We love the restaurant and almost always have either brunch or lunch, sometimes both. Cocktails are very reasonable, with $4.00 well drinks and $3.00 during happy hour. A nice place, especially on hot Summer days.
Cathleen Jordan
Sunshine gave us outstanding service and the food was to die for! The Brunch menu has so many selections and we loved the bottomless mimosas. Fried oysters were great; we ordered extra biscuits to scoop up the remaining fontina cream! Beef Debris, Fried green Tomatoes, and Crab Cakes all with poached eggs were our delicious entrees, we had peaches with ricotta and pistachio for dessert with cappuccinos. Such a satisfying meal!
Rachel Johns
I liked how diverse the crowd was. A variety of races, age groups and social classes. Property and pool were clean. Bar staff were nice and efficient. Social distancing measures were implemented and worked, except in the hot tub area where it was impossible to remain 6 feet to stay apart. But we didn’t mind. Was a nice place to hang out for tha 4th of July
Terry St. Germain (All8Up)
Our meal portions were huge and delicious. I got the shrimp at the recommendation of our server and she got the rabbit. Both amazing. Had the oysters and the crab beignets for appetizers and it ended up being too much food. The price was right and the place is romantic.
Allison Haag
We went for the Sunday Drag Brunch. Both the food and entertainment can't be beat for the price. Loved it!!!!!
Sloan Gaither
One of my favorite spots in Nola. Incredible food with poolside bar and hot tub.
Anthony Leone
Went for a Drag brunch the morning after a wedding in the french quarter. Had a fantastic time, food was amazing. The fried green tomatoes and eggs rank as one of the best meals ive ever had. Love the art on the walls, and chilling on the porch waiting to be seated felt like i was at home doing some solid porch sitting.
Brittany Seal
Absolutely love this place. Just sad the bartenders didn't attempt to sell us more than 1 drink :(
L K
Visiting from Boston and had a fabulous experience here at the pool. The interior of the club is simply beautiful and the service was excellent. (Rob?) at the pool bar made my visit worthwhile. I would definitely recommend a stop here for a cocktail and a burger!
Alex Wish
The service is always amazing, the place is gorgeous in and out, definitely a place to go hangout with locals and tourists and enjoy delicious food, good drinks and always great vibes!
Bettina Buval
I had never been to this establishment before so didn't know what to expect. The building is nice, clean, and quaint. The staff was friendly but not very fast when dealing with our group of 25 plus people. The bar served a a variety of specialty drinks and beers. The food when it finally came out of the kitchen was just okay. Sides were $5, salads ranged from $10 to $15. Lunch entrees were limited. Starters were fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, seafood beignets, crab bisque. I give them good marks for ambiance. Fair marks for customer service, food and drinks. And be aware that the parking situation around the place is challenging. It's all street parking in a residential area.
Akiva Marcus Cole
The pool and bar is great! My friends and I spent the whole day here and had a blast. I got the margarita and the Buena Onda. Both were good choices. The pool is at the perfect temperature. The hot tub is pretty hot, but relaxing it just gets crowded.
Tabby Kern
I love this place! As an out of towner, they accommodated to us greatly, and were so kind. They held our luggage before our flight back out of NOLA and made sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were awesome guys who had such fun personalities. The food was out of this world. The Holy Roller was a week's worth of calories but tasted amazing!
My only gripe was I had to pay $15 to sit by the pool with my girlfriends and I never had any intentions of swimming.
Sara menning
Our group thoroughly enjoyed sampling several of the small plates in the menu along with a pound of shrimp. It was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip to New Orleans. One of the employees was also kind enough to show us around the property.
Chelsea Robertson
Bummed the topless brunches are gone, but we had a great day by the pool sipping cocktails, grazing on snacks and hanging with friends. We also had dinner there in the dining room, very yummy. It was a great place to take a large group of people, plenty of stuff to do, places to be and drinks to drink.
Meghann Armstrong
Absolutely love this place! Here on our honeymoon and the staff is amazing! Food is amazing!! Can't wait to see the drag show for brunch!!

Hidden Oasis in NOLA!! Ypu will not be disappointed! Got parking right in front, sat at the bar. Their Bywater exclusive wines were nice. Coconut shrimp was excellent and some seriously delicious mussels. The mac and cheese was delicious as well! Pool was not crowded at all. Great service all the way around. I cannot wait to come back!
Adam Newsome
The food and the interior decor is the best to expect from a place with a pool and a serving staff of the finest cocktails of such opulence you'll be shocked at the Inexpensive price. I recommend the Drag Brunch that's one Saturday every month. It's a reservation that you will not wish to miss. Be the royalty of the room your desires can be met, with the Chef and the staff... The party is yours let's hope it never ends and like so many before you. Let then go above and beyond cuz in the end, it's your happiness is only ones that counts.
Willie Nelson
Great ambiance but a better bar than restaurant. Food not terrible but definitely strange table setup and limited selection. My chicken was meh and looked like it was just thrown on top of instant potatoes. Maybe the fish would have been presented nicer. Staff was fairly attentive.
Valencia Spells Anderson (ChynaPoetic)
Cute bar lounge with a poolside bar. There is a $15/day charge to go poolside (which we didn't do). This spot was in walking distance from our rental so we went there late night for drinks. They are open til 2am I believe and drinks were VERY reasonably priced. My husband and I ordered 2 alcoholic beverages and just hung out in the lounge. I was shocked when it was time to close out the tab and the bill was only $10. Very cool atmosphere and nice service. Kitchen closes at 9pm so we didn't eat.
Todd Zilla
Surprisingly chill and I really met some of the nicest people. I as always love the country club and the food is amazing as well. If you can make it to a drag show for breakfast and sangria I would definitely recommend you make some time to attend.
Bernie Kidwell
Amazing place! They have drag queens who perform lip sinks while you eat. Food is ok, but pricey.
Micah Robinson
Beautiful space. Food was really good and very well prepared. We would definitely come back.
Leah Weaver
Great vibes, drinks, n small plates :) friendly staff
Adriana Perez
We attended their famous drag brunch, for which you need to make a reservation AT LEAST 6 months ahead. The staff was very nice and welcoming, the place is a lovely antebellum home with a very chic style, the food looked better than it tasted (I had the chicken and waffles, the waffles tasted like they were a week old), but overall a great experience.
Corey Mckeller
Had a great time at brunch here this past weekend. The place is very clean and the food was good. Also, they are taking all the necessary steps to keep us safe during covid-19.
Sokari Ekine
The best brunch in NOLA; THEIR Mac & Cheese is out of this world. Go for a selection of appetizers rather than a main course. Drinks are excellent, service 5*, ambience 5* outside by the pool or the bar are best.
Arby Kyle
The place is a top notice outlier for a great meal and fun place to hang out and have a drink with good friends. Of course I do miss the days that the place had a clothing optional policy but I guess that time for New Orleans has moved on and I’ll just have to be happy it classes up while I still get nostalgic for old times.
I’d recommend this place to anyone as a just hit spot in the city, especially the LGBTQ community!
Casey Stead
Beautiful bar and restaurant. One of the most beautiful I've visited in Nola. Art was exceptionally well done. Would visit again. Bartenders are friendly. Drinks are great. Solid happy hour deals.
K Krishan
Great service didn't have a reservation when at the recommendation of a friend. Went for brunch food was not bad it looked amazing lacking a little favor flavor and the bottomless mimosas are on the weak side. It's pricey but would say it's worth the experience.
Amanda Munis
This place is about the atmosphere and experience!! I would definitely go back. We are locals who have never been entertaining friends visiting Nola for first time. Walked in on a Saturday at 10:50 with the luckiest request for a table for 4. Apparently, there was a cancellation that just went through, for one HOT table for 4 that was typically booked up to 2 months in advance. Man oh man the music was bumping and we had no idea what we were in store for!!! Drag brunch you say.... totally awesome, not sure if the husband's would agree but we had a great time!!!
E Rachelle Daugherty
Ambience, clientele, staff (Hey, Dwayne!), drink choices, HEATED pool and lovely hot tub, tapas plates.. you'd never know this wonderful place was here from the front of the building; it's private, and I must become a member!!
Thank you for an incredible day.
Amanda Marbut
Went during prime brunch hour and had to sit at the bar, because there were no tables available (you need to call ahead). If you are looking for an LBGT+ friendly brunch place, this is the place to go to. I had the BEAT toast, which was so worth the price! There is a pool in the back that you can go swimming (plan ahead) and the TVs at the bar were playing NFL games (if you are in to that). The bathrooms were extremely clean and very artistic (even if you do not need to go to the bathroom, you should go check them out)!
Becca F
The ambiance is great, beautiful decor. The food is only so so. Cocktails are good. Bonus points for being within walking distance from my house.
Adrian Phillips
Pool opens about the same time as the restaurant. $15 per person if you’re not a member and $2 to rent a towel. Like to get there before 11:30am on beautiful days to snag a good spot in the sun. There’s a bar and grill outside that usually opens a bit later than the restaurant with a wide selection of pool friendly cocktails like a cucumber gin and tonic or frozen margarita. The fries are fantastic to help soak up the alcohol. No cannonballs or diving.

I have always loved the country club because it is a fun place to go swim in a heated pool, soak in a hot tub, and sweat in a sauna, all in a darling neighborhood. Plus their food is extra delicious! But I was super bummed when my friend from out of town and I took an Uber to the Country Club only to find we could not go in the hot tub after 11:00 p.m., even though they are open until 1:00 a.m. Pretty understandable, but a waste of our $25 Uber ride and our plans for the night. FYI, the sauna and locker room are closed until March.
Cameron K
Excellent from the moment we stepped inside. The decor is impeccable, the service was TO DIE FOR and the crab beignets made me fall in love. Get multiple orders of the crab beignets, TRUST me!!
Tatiana Etienne
Absolutely delicious cuisine and the pool in the back is awesome!
Lucas Rifkin
This isn't a typical country club. It is a good restaurant with a pool outback that used to be naked optional but was forced to change its policy. A lot of people liked the naked option but it was a bit seedy because people drank and got scandalous / out of hand / possibly worse. There's a nice bar in the back and I feel much more comfortable going there now that people remain clothed.

My family wanted to celebrate my birthday, and this is place I chose, after being away from it for a while. The "neighborhood vibe" is totally different, and that is a bit unfortunate, but the restaurant's aesthetics were top-notch! The initial hostess was a bit "dry" when we entered as well, but our server, Zack was really nice (and patient with the older members of my family!). The food was absolutely wonderful, and Zack even added a candle to my dessert, in recognition of my b-day!
Katie W
The food is amazing but the website is very misleading for the drag brunch reservations. We thought we were reserving for the drag show. I was so bummed.
Caroline Anaya
This review is for Saturday morning brunch and drag show. My friend is a local to New Orleans and he knew just where to take me for a really unique and fun brunch experience. We each had an entree, an order of unlimited mimosas, and were seated for the show. All in all, I think the service lasts for about 2 hours in total.
First of all, let me say that the decoration of this restaurant is really great. It's located in the heart of Bywater and the building is a historical house with a beautiful layout porch that's really picturesque. We went in the middle of winter on an unseasonably cold weekend, so we didn't check out the pool area that I hear is really fun.
Service was amazing. I loved my entree of crab cakes eggs benedict which was on the specials menu. I have to say this unlimited drinks experience was the best I've ever had. Not a minute went by with an empty glass of mimosas because the servers were so attentive to keeping us happy. For $15 and a true unlimited service..what a deal!
The show was so fun and the singers really spent time interacting with the guests by walking up and down each aisle and visiting tables. I particularly loved the Madonna tribute on my visit. I belive the brunch shows happen every other Saturday so you'll have to plan in advance.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for a special New Orleans experience!
Hillary Hall
Such a fun visit. Despite the crowd we had good service, the pool was delightfully warm, and they have so many champagne cocktails it's dangerous. Pro tip: fried green tomatoes benedict and a fantastic bloody mary!
The Ebony Princesses
Omg this is the spot! Upscale dining with the option to jump in the sauna hot tub or pool, sit outside and enjoy one of the delicious chef's creations. The Saturday Drag Brunch is a must!! Just Go if you bout that lavish life. I can't wait to get back home!!
todd sisung
This place is amazing from the food to the beautiful tropical oasis out back with a heated pool and hot tub. The staff is friendly and I never leave without meeting someone new and Interesting. If you need a day of relaxation this is the place to be.
Arlesienne Mônica Da Silva
This is some of the most delicious food and the atmosphere is incredible. The staff is top-notch. The husband and wife duo that run the kitchen Lisa Arguiles Barbatos as the pastry chef and Chris Barbatos is the chef are amazing. Great place for groups and there's a heated swimming pool!
Krysty S
This place has always been awesome, but after the renovation of the locker room and outside bar that they just completed, it's amazing! Not to mention great drinks and delicious food as always.
Kathleen McHugh
When casual, laid-back and elegant are what you crave on your New Orleans vacay, this local spot delivers it all. Not to be outdone by the stylish fun reboot, the food takes it up a notch including delish southern favs and drinks. It's one of my favorite stops especially on a hot afternoon where bathing is in order to cool off and bathing suits used to be optional. The pool is the place to be.
Lyndon Severin
My experience at the Country Club was par excellence! The mansion and it's accompanying decor provided an aire of opulence. The drinks were made with meticulous care, and the small plates were appetizing and just enough to pair with an evening of libations.
Roland O'Daniel
Very interesting atmosphere. We enjoyed our drinks while riding our bikes thru Bywater. The pool had a great crowd and ecclectic group.
Unfortunately I we missed brunch and couldn't stick around for dinner but the draft and drinks were good enough to give us the energy to get back on the road.
Would come back just to hang at the pool for a while!
Farrel Prince
Awesome place staff are awesome food is awesome
Mike Chicago
What a beautiful place! From the entrance to the bar, dining area, pool, bathrooms....its all impressive.
Got some drinks at the bar first from a personable bartender named Tim, and got some appetizer suggestions. Got the Boudin Boulettes, which are phenomenal!! The pepper jelly adds a little kick to it. AWESOME!
Also had Burrata Tartine, which is kind of a bruchetta-like app.. basil, pesto, avocado, arugula, tomato and lemon on crusty bread. Very subtle flavor. Good.
THE FOOD: Moved to the dining room, where only one other table was seated.
The menu looked good.
I ordered the Oysters and Cappelinni, which is described as "Louisiana oysters and thin spaghetti tossed with king oyster mushrooms, roasted garlic, lemon, parmesan in a porcini cream sauce. It sounds good, but really was bland, and I couldn't get any oyster flavor (didn't see any), and the sauce was so mild (and kind of watery), it could have been just cream. The pasta itself was overcooked. Not a good dish! I had a side of mascarpone polenta, which, along with the boudin boulettes, were the star of the evening!
Rich, creamy polenta taste with a bit of sweet and tart from the mascarpone, and bits of spinach, I believe. Just wonderful! Amazing side dish.
Babycakes got the Chargrilled Flank Steak which comes with house cut fries and a chimichurri sauce. The steak was done perfectly, but the fries got soggy from having the steak on it. Yes, the presentation was good, but it caused the fries to be a limp, wet mess. The sauce was a good limey taste.
The server kept disappearing, even though there were only 2 tables seated, so my food got cold waiting for pepper, and parmesan.
Overall, we were disappointed in the entrees and service in the dining room. I would only give it 2 stars.
We will come back, but maybe just for apps and drinks.
Also, you can get a membership to use the pool for a year, or for a day ($15. Per person).
It IS a beautiful venue!
Lisa Laursen
Not my first or fifth choice in the neighborhood. As a non-meat eater, the menu is lacking. Service is hit or miss. I wish I loved the place, but sadly it disappoints each time I try.
Liz Casarez
Was there in April and we ended up there twice it was so great. Heading back next weekend and was looking forward to the drag brunch but there was available table😪 …
Ashley Boehnel
This place is perfect! I love everything about it. Great menu items, amazing drinks, the crowd that is always there is so welcoming to people even if they are not local!
Andrea Claire Morningstar
What's not to love? Big awesome pool, great cocktails, lovely food. No kids allowed. Which is nice for special occasions but we'd love it if there was a kid friendly day for members.
Riley Violet
This is a really special place. First, they serve great breakfast and brunch. On weekends they have bottomless mimosas, or you can opt to craft your own Bloody Mary at their Bloody Mary bar. They also do an always-entertaining drag brunch a couple times a month (look up the exact dates). This has also become one of my favorite places to watch a Saints game. Grab a seat around the bar (get there early) and enjoy the huge TVs, great bartenders, and free jello shots for every Saints score. While the pool is no longer clothing optional, it's still a beautiful oasis enjoyed by a great mix of people on nice days. Definitely visit the Country Club.
Megan Thilman
The pool , hot tub and drinks are great but I'm not exactly sure who is running the kitchen. I ordered a 15$ salad and they try and hid the fact that they burnt my chicken. I'll always come for the pool and hot tub but I think I'm done eating here.
Renata Davis
A nice setting and the drinks were delicious. Will definitely be back again!
Nate Fansler
This is one of those great finds that is not really duplicated anywhere else. Old school mansion converted into a restaurant/bar/pool party. You can get a yearly membership for access to the pool or pay per day for access. There is a bar at the pool as well as inside.
You don't have to get a membership unless you want to go outside to the pool. The inside bar would be a great place to watch sports as it is a large wrap around bar with TVs in the middle. Prices tend to be a bit higher here than other locations, but the service matches that.
Ty Darensburg
I used to be a member back when I lived in New Orleans and it was clothing optional. Even though you have to wear bathing suits now, It's still a hidden gem in the city, but not as litty. It's an adult only heated saltwater pool with outdoor bar, hot tub, sauna, showers and plenty of lounge chairs out back. In the front it's a restaurant and bar. It's open 7 days a week!
Pho & O Light
The country club is an amazing experience.... Not enough vegan options on the lunch and dinner menu, however they have some amazing French fries and drinks....the pool, hot tub and sauna gives me life. ..... Gay, straight, bi,swingers and all its welcome
Tony White
Pool, cabana, God bar and remix of 90's club music. Great! Get there early because it fills up quick
Andrew Jameson
The service and atmosphere is what draws you in, the food is what makes you hooked. I Love Sunday brunch at the country club.
Amanda C
Great place for lunch, if you want something fancy but not too fancy. We had a great meal here. And even though they didn't have anything vegan on the menu, I was about to modify some things to make them vegan.
Nicholas Ireland
Freaking awsome loved it told booking 6months in advance avg so luck to sweep in on a cancelation!!!!!
Jose D. Daza
The best food and great service!
Mark Bolling
Definitely a neat little place, but the most amazing thing is that this place took home the title for "my best meal in New Orleans"! Go here, order the shrimp, and thank me later. It's off the beaten path, so you'll have to drive to get here from the French Quarter, but it is SO worth it! Again - Get the shrimp!!
Oosha Devi
It would have gotten 5 stars years ago. I was a regular. It is no longer clothing optional. It still has a beautiful and elegant interior restaurant and bar. And outside a pool, sauna and hot tub. The mac and cheese there and at St Lawrence Pub are my fave in New Orleans. Cocktails. LGBTQ friendly with Drag brunches occasional Sundays.
Skyy Daniels
Fun brunch! The drag brunch shows are pretty entertaining and the food is good. Great atmosphere, charming restored Victorian(?) style house turned restaurant beautiful place inside and out.
Cleavon Covington
The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious and the cocktails were good. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked and chewy.
Glinda Mantle
It's such a lovely space! Perfect for chilling out poolside, outdoor bar and food is served, too! Great music and friendly service!
Jordan Monti
Beautiful location, the venue is worth it just to see. The food would not stand out aside from the venue, but it's still good.
Lindsey Holcomb
Went for Saturday brunch. It was literally the most fun I have ever had day drinking. The people were amazing. Food was great. It was the highlight of my trip. I would go back just to have brunch again.
Jeremy Rylan
The place had great food, great customer service and loved the pool. The only negative was the drag brunch. The queens looked great, but didn't really perform. They basically went around the place to everyone only wanting to get tips and not perform.
Krystal Dominguez
Amazing food, superb service!
Michael Miles
The Saturday drag brunch offers bottomless and a good show. Make reservations wellllll in advance because it’s hard to get into. We lucked out because of a last minute cancel and had such a blast!
Robert Warren
Locals gem. Beautiful setting in the Bywater. Menu offers something for everyone, and it is all fantastic. No pretense here. Everyone is very friendly and makes dining fun! Check out Sunday brunch!
Elizabeth G. Amena
The Country Club is beautiful inside! My friends and I love the atmosphere, food, and drinks. Their Brussel sprouts are BOMB and the affogato too!
Rosalind Rogers
The truffle mac n cheese is a MUST!
Admire Nola
The best pool-party scene in New Orleans! Sunday's in the sun are the best. The poolside cabana bar has everything and the kitchen puts out great food every time. Thanks y'all!
O. J. B. B.
Dropped in with my bestie on a Sunday to have a b-day brunch celebration of our birthdays. We felt welcomed and enjoyed the food, varying styles and themes of each room, and the great conversations with people within.
We also came back the day of our flight-out; checked-in our luggage and lounged carefree at the pool soaking up the sun and beauty that New Orleans has graced our presence with The best way to end a b-day adventure.

Male bartenders only seem to work there... if you are a woman, you may get skipped over for a while in favor of Male patrons even if they approach the bar after you. Being a former bartender for 10 years, in environments ranging from nightclub, to stripclub, to country club, to restaurants, I agree with the general understanding that women make less, and therefore do not tip as much. As a woman of color, I also have witnessed the tendency of frugality, or lack of tip from people of color. In my own opinion I was more likely to get stiffed by a person of color rather than a caucasian patron. There are exceptions to every rule. I tend to over tip 30% or more... just so a bartender will remember me the next time, and to help to end the automatic assumption that POC are ALL bad tippers. End rant. The outside bartenders seem to be more attentive and less selective than their indoor counterparts. Food is great, security is friendly, drinks are well made. Nice ambience and decor. Was better when we could go nude... wish we could go back to that. Still a decent location to soak your muscles, people watch, and enjoy a lazy day at the pool.
Irene Zimmerman
I always stop by when I am in town. The price has nearly doubled but the drinks are awesome and the food is great and the renovations are stunning. I’ll have to visit when the work is done and see how it all turned out
Hannah Lopez
Delicious brunch- Had the tomato Benedict it was amazing. mimosas were great. COVID compliant. Service was really nice too
Eileen Bruzeau
Fantastic! Highly recommend their Drag Brunch events!!
Chris Creaven
Great atmosphere, good drinks and food. Really enjoyed the pool, doesn't the entire afternoon just relaxing.
Melissa Angyalfi
Amazing decor, atmosphere, food and vibe. What a gem of a find on our trip to NOLA. Only thing keeping it from 5/5 was the interaction with their bartender, she was quite unpleasant and seemed to hate her job.
Dan Mitropolsky
Loved it. You will need a reservation. Really really really good food, great service and space. After a meal you can use the pool/club for only 7.50, which we loved.
Jesse Kershaw
Unique spot in a unique city. A friend recommended this place as a must visit in NOLA and we weren't disappointed. Went for brunch and returned the next day for bottomless mimosas with breakfast and then cocktails by the pool.
V. Louis Perkins, III
The food was beyond fantastic, a bit pricey but definitely worth ever penny. The staff was great, and the people were fun.
Jacob Rosenfeld
Awesome place to take a load off and get sparkly clean during your trip to New Orleans. 100% worth a visit.
Nicole Catlin
My niece and I ate here on our 2nd day of visiting NOLA. The atmosphere was devine, our servers were fantastic and our food was to die for. I can't wait to come back whenever I go back down south.
Joshua Grippo
Everyone knows about the amazing brunch and the fantastic pool, but I never hear much about their dinner. The food is absolutely fantastic and the rooms and paintings never fail to charm.
Kayla E.
Had a great time in the club. The hot tub was nice and the sauna is always a great plus. Can't wait to go back!
Shannon Kelleher
Loved! Thank you Heather for working with me to get out own special place to celebrate our birthdays! Appies were fabulous. On my list to come back for dinner!
Tracey E
Great food, welcoming atmosphere and amazing service! The Drag Brunch is a must see! Book today!
Hank Habermann
The bourgeois trappings can be fairly easily overlooked or enjoyed. Pool, hot tub, bar, restaurant all clean and welcoming. Spa dub beat plays poolside. Sun-soaking is peaceful here mid-day.
Alexandria Robinson
My friends and I LOVE The Country Club. The staff is always so friendly, the pool is heated, there’s $3 drinks during happy hour, and the food is amazing. What more could you want?
casey siegel
Not only is this place incredibly fun, bottomless mimosas AND the food is bomb!!! I'm still here and I'm writing this review because I don't want to forget. That's how much I mean it. Happy Saturday !
Jeff Chagnard
Fun place to spend an afternoon. Bars inside and outside near the pool. Food is great either inside or outside. Very nice pool with lots of chairs etc for sunbathing, hot tub, suana, etc. Definitely more of an adult place so leave the little ones at home.
lauren juarez
It looks quite opulent after being redone but chairs for tables were quite uncomfortable. With a dining room empty were seated right in the middle at a tiny table. The food tasted rubbery & chewy. The flowered walls were beautiful but really ? Sub par
Thomas Minter
Stellar atmosphere, delicious menu options, and beautiful people. If you show up for the pool come early be respectful.
Andrea Merida
The staff was gratuitously helpful, and the brunch was excellent. Someday, when things go back to "normal," we will be back to see the drag show too.
Projectile Objects
My favorite escape while in New Orleans. Sauna, pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant. All great and lively. To be honest, this is much better than posting up in a coffee shop and doing work. If you can swing it, working poolside is the jam!
frances howard
I absolutely adored this place! Our server was nice and the food was good. The sticky cauliflower 😲 omg! A must try! …
Mischief (Mischief86)
Great food ! Great staff ! Great location!
Francis Rodriguez
Great time, great food!
Mark Johnson
Amazing brunch spot! I had the Holy Roller Grilled Cheese topped with Ham, Bacon, and Tomatoes. It was amazing. And bottomless mimosas for $15.
Joseph Bodenmiller
Very nice! The menu and cuisine rival many of the better known venues. I will be back many times again and encourage everyone to give this somewhat hidden gem a try.
Unique Lee
Very good food and signature cocktails. Pricey. Obscenely long wait for brunch reservations (must be made months in advance). Caters to LGBT clientele.
Toby Medlyn
Awesome staff! Beautiful dining area. Had the best brunch of my life there! Can't wait to come again.
El S.
Food and service here are always great. Love their drag brunch on Sundays. The pool is fantastic.
Marta Welden
Picked up holiday dinner. Good price, ample servings, delicious dessert. Packed up very nicely, customer service excellent.
Robbie Gilmore
Ive been visiting this place for years, even when they were clothing optional. The food is top notch, bartenders are speedy, the only reason I left off a star is because they removed their clothing optional rule.
jamie wilbert
Love this place! Brunch is amazing bottomless mimosas and a bloody Mary bar. I do miss the freedom of being a new Orleanian and having the option of clothing but I still love this place. It's a new orleans must
Rachael Parks
Super tasty ! Drinks and appetizers especially! Beautiful decor!
Myron Henry
Good cocktails. Cool bar and the food was just okay. Didnt like the fact that they charged to get into the pool area in the rear.
Cameron Eaton
I love this place! The food and decor are awesome, the staff is top notch and I love how warm and welcoming it always is.
Jessica Arredondo
Such great energy from the staff!
My husband and I really loved our experience and the food was the bomb!
It's our new Must go to when visiting !
Dave S
1st time here, and I am having a blast. The place is beautiful, nicely landscaped, and clean. Could use a second bathroom by the poolside bar though. Other then that I will be coming back!
C.E. Meadow
Meh. This place used to be a true locals spot, now it’s over-flowing with tourists. I don’t recommend this place for large groups or real relaxation but if your looking for a drunk filled pool with over priced drinks this is your spot!
F. Bagheri
I visited this place in 2014, I still have fond memories of the place. I know changes have been made since I was last there, but I'm very much looking forward to eating their delicious food and drinking their to die for drinks once again.
Jeremy Roberts
Beautiful and inviting. Great food and ambiance. It's a place you definitely want to experience with friends and have an amazing time.
Cody
I didn’t love this place. Too many people in the pool. Service wasn’t great. But a fun and hip atmosphere. But other than that, just not my style looking for something quieter and calmer.
Chris Reeve
Cool place, didn't realise it was a gay bar and pool before arriving, and it was really friendly and welcoming. Cheap beers outside and a decent pool. Great place to hang out in the day when it's quiet
Ty Musik
Great food. Even better atmosphere. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub available. Sauna is forthcoming. Definitely recommend.
Megan Mishefski
Absolutely beautiful building and amazing food! Great prices and service but the 15$ to go to the pool area was a bit disappointing as we weren't going to swim, just relax. The pool area looked gorgeous though.
Jason Vaughn
Great food and atmosphere. My girlfriend and I had a great time celebrating new year's eve here. I really enjoyed the outdoor firepit.
Carlos Lee
Great food, atmosphere, and staff. I always have a great time here. We often go for brunch and Saint's games.
Justin Shaw
The place looks beautiful. The money they have put into renovations and upgrades are very noticeable. Also the food seriously impressed me, it's a far cry from what they used to offer.
Bradley Mccord
Place is a bit bizarre...get there early if you want a seat. Easy to order from bar at pool or simply dine in and enjoy the bar inside. Pool will get packed, don't expect to swim...just dip 😂😂 …
Kristina Leal
Great food. Friendly staff!
Tabatha Dallas
Had a great time. The food was amazing & so were the mimosas. You must check out the drag brunch if you visit.
Marie Cossé
Great and beautiful space. David did a great job and Lindsey was sweet!
Samantha Treat
Amazing food and very fun and attentive staff. We are still talking about last night’s dinner and Tony. We’re in New Orleans for a few more days and are making a point to eat there again before we leave.
Meghan Moorhead
Really good food and awesome clean pool with very cool young crowd of people 😎 always a nice time
Avilez Francisco
Pretty neat place. Absolutely beautiful inside, the staff was very nice to top it off. The after brunch pool was absolutely a major bonus.
Carol Payne
great time,highly recomended
J P
Good spot to relax in the hot tub, sauna and pool. Never tried the food but I hear it's good
Daniel Daly
Just do it but don't tell anyone like I'm stupidly doing. Pay for the pool side bar on site then change up for dinner. Towels n lockers at extra cost.
Liz Aleman Moore
Need to cool off? Come here and swim for $15. Awesome atmosphere. Hidden gem for sure!!! One of our highlights of NOLA.
Mr. Provencio
Woah... fun can happen here. Quaint quote clean ish. Hipsters and granola crunchers might take over during busy times. Otherwise very peaceful. Excellent bloody marys.
Jaelene Cumba
Recently remodeled for more of an upscale look and the food is better. Great pool and bar area. Guaranteed a good time.
Cora Henkemeyer
Very chill setting. Everyone was super welcoming. Unique characters meant lots of mingling and conversation. Will definitely come back if in New Orleans again.
Courtney Carter
The drag show was so much fun
Roger A Thompson III
This place is amazing! Food is Deelish! Not to mention the pool atmosphere is kicking it, cool vibes, great tunes and booze!

Derrick Barganier
Great atmosphere and the food looked amazing I'm going back today to try it :-). Had a blast enjoyed the drinks and the pool time fun!!!!
B TRIX Presents:
On Wednesdays they have service industry days where entrance for the pool is 5$ which is pretty rad. The bar has some nice drinks too with a happy hour
Atypical Angelique
Come here all the time. Great music, pool, hot tub, food. Only complaint is they never want to make mojitos for my friends and I. Well.. certain bartenders.
Salem Al-Ayyadhi
Great drag brunch! I had reservations for 17 girls for a bachelorette party and they were super accommodating. Everyone has a great time!
John Corlis
This is a very hip night spot. You can sit by the pool, lounge in the hot tub, drink at the bar, and even have dinner. Look them up because they have brunch as well, with bottomless mimosas 😀 …
Laurie Brom
Elegant old building. Very friendly staff. Great drinks. I'd like to spend more time there next time I'm in town.
Patrick Daniels
We went for brunch and had a lovely time From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and led towards a delicious experience
Heather is a remarkable server and each choice she helped us make in our meal worked.
River Gallagher
Adored this spot while visiting. Brunch might be hard to get into on Sundays though relaxing in the pool area in the morning before the crowd was ideal.
M K (Smuttynose)
Great food and service. The prices are fair, too. Decor is very nice. You get half off on a pool day pass if you eat lunch there.
Kelly Whitter
Love this place. Very friendly staff who was attentive and kind. Show was amazing and excellent food and great prices. Will go again for sure
Julianne Lewis
Chill vibe, amazing food, fabulous bartenders.

Large outdoor patio, tables well spaced. Great service. Food was great. I had shrimp and grits.
Shoney Batiste
A good place to unwind... the heated pool is great... hot tub and sauna is awesome! I love the food and the wine is fantastic... very classy place all and all!
Tress Ritter
Chicken Uber from the French Quarter here because they were supposed to have the best Bloody Mary in town. The bar itself was very very nice and the staff was excellent I wasn't very impressed with the drink.
Noah Lindgren
Great food for a really good price! The waitreas was extremely helpful and nice. Their burgers was great, ask for their mayonnase if you get the chance. A solid 5/5
Barbara Yates
Excellent food, great pool area. Come and hang out by pool and eat and drink.
Kim Ford
Great spot in the past. It closes way too early nowadays. We have been bamboozled! It has now been conformed into a completely non-New Orleans gentrified club.
Ms. Mage
Gorgeous space with lovely staff.
Got small lunch bites and a cappuccino and everything was perfect.
Justin Kray
Even though the backyard pool scene is not as "libertine" as it used to be, there is still just one and only spot in the City with such a relaxed and social vibe with all the beautiful landscaped amenities - backyard pool, hot tub, sauna, bar, projections, etxxx
Anthony Elias
The drag queens were hilarious and the food was great. The unlimited mimosas had a good ratio of champagne too!
Tristan Louis
Exceptional food and fantastic service. Go for a bunch of small plates and share: you won't regret it
Jennifer Torres
This crazy pool bar has seen many things and many changes, it remains one of my favorite New Orleans hang outs. Great for a hot afternoon escape in the city.
Celia
The decor is pretty,Great Food and Drinks
The Pool area is awesome, very nice heated pool.
I recommend this Place 👍 …

The brunch is delicious! Fried Green Tomato Benedict is my favorite. The truffle Mac n cheese is super!
