Walked by here a few times always saying we needed to stop in. Last night we finally did, and I can't understand why I haven't sooner. Cute patio with warm heaters. Owner and his staff were great (they run this place with just 3 people right now) Between 3 od us we had a variety of the tacos and each one was so delicious. And let me tell you about those Margaritas!! Made with various fruit/flower syrups that they make in house....tamarind all day for me please, especially with that taijin rim. We will be back soon!!

Met the owner & staff personally, and my husband and I dined at his restaurant last night. First off, they are amazing people, thee BEST customer service, which is totally important. Next the food was completely off the chain. I mean fresh and very delicious. Next the atmosphere was so calming, beautiful outside dining and views. If you haven't tried them, listen you're missing out big time. We had the chicken & shrimp tacos and for an appetizer we had Chips and queso, Lawrdt hammercy, everything was so delicious. We definitely will be going back and we're bringing friends for sure. Also, don't let one unhappy soul make you think twice about dining there. You will not regret dining there.

In town for a conference from Phoenix. I am very critical of Mexican food. This place did not disappoint! The shrimp tacos and the fish tacos were amazing! Very flavorful and fresh. Queso was also very good. For someone that rarely eats Mexican food outside of the Southwest, I would come here again. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly. The owner is super friendly. Locally owned.

Now here is a place that deserves a standing ovation! I went there at 9pm with a crew from my company and a client. They were about to close and the manager accommodated us! Thank you! And it did not disappoint at all! Some of the better tacos I have ever had outside of Mexico City! The shrimp tacos were spectacular! As simple as such a taco is, it is actually very easy to mess up! I wanted to keep ordering but they had closed! Def a place to try. The ambiance is actually pretty cool! The outside seating and the indoor are just as equally nice! All my team and my client team were supper happy. Everything we ordered, from drinks to food, was served to perfection with a smile…despite having to stay late to accommodate us! That’s what I call commitment. Bravo!

What a gem of a spot in the Arts District! The pizza is a 10/10 and the owner couldn’t be a nicer guy! We ordered the roasted tomato pie and a pesto pie and both were excellent! The margaritas were the perfect compliment and the prices are very reasonable. The patio design is perfect for people watching. We were visiting NOLA for a long weekend and stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. Do yourself a favor and go try this place out!

We stopped at this place while going home after Luna Fete. Man these tacos are so good. I had the fish and shrimp. *Chef’s kiss* I also had a hibiscus marg. Also so good. The owner operator personally waited on us. It’s truly a small business with a great staff.

Do yourself a favor and eat tacos often, but eat them here! These are the best tacos we have had. We are from Austin- the land of tacos- and the last thing we wanted in NOLA was a taco. But the game was on the big screen and the courtyard called us. So glad we did! Seriously the best tacos we have ever had! And we eat alot of tacos. Chicken Tinga was juicy and spicy with warm corn tortillas. Queso was amazing as was the quac. Friendly staff and really great atmosphere Everyone was happy. Margaritas and full bar. We may even come back tomorrow Great place to grab a bite, sit outside, have some drinks.

Tasty tacos and fun atmosphere! I really loved the mushroom and nopalitos tacos — frankly nopal tacos can be hard to get right and IMO this place nails them. The rajas con crema was good, I don’t like green bell peppers so probably wouldn’t get it again. The atmosphere is fun and the staff member (owner?) was efficient but kind. He set aside the water bottle I left there and had it ready for me to pick up after I called.

The legends are true best taco spot in NOLA! Wish I would have known about this place sooner. I’ve been looking for a good taco spot and this it! None match it. Authentic Mexican street taco and the atmosphere was awesome. Worth every penny. Great drinks, great food, great people! We will definitely be back.

Had a great time meeting with friends here. There were 4 of us and everyone loved their food. I had beef tacos that were delicious. The margaritas are probably the best I've ever had. Strong with great flavor. It's easy to make a strong drink but it's not easy to make it taste great as well. The owner is also a class act. He treats the customers AND his staff very well. If you're looking for a place to meet your friends, make plans here.

Eh. Not good not bad. Not as tasty as similar dishes I've had. Too salty by half. Tacos are small for the price. Pulled pork is kind of flavorless. The shrimp taco is much better. On balance I can't recommend. And they seem hard on the help and are understaffed. Oh well.

This place originally opened as a pizza restaurant and then switched to a Taqueria. We went a few nights ago and had a great experience. The tacos are outstanding, as are the soups. The staff is very friendly. Just so you know, I'm pretty sure they only have outdoor seating right now. The courtyard is very pleasant and there is a TV set up if you want to watch a game.

Hailing from South Texas, I was a bit hesitant to try a taqueria in New Orleans if I’m being honest. Let me say, I was NOT disappointed. Even though I only saw two employees working (one guy taking orders and making drinks and then one girl bringing out the food) the food didn’t take long at all to come out. We had the bistec, chicken tinga, and cochinita pibil tacos and they were all delicious! I also recommend the margaritas. If I come back to NOLA, I will definitely be back.

I ordered a beef and a pork tacos ($5/each) followed by a piece of Tres Leches ($6). It should really be 3 tacos for $10 maybe even 3 for $12 given the amount of food. The winner was the cake though... probably the best Tres Leches I've ever had. Worth a trip and eating on the patio looks fantastic!

Nice place with a very pretty brick patio and outdoor eating area. The staff are friendly and helpful people. I had the vibe that the whole establishment is a huge labor of love. My friend and I ordered a formaggio pizza, a pepperoni pizza, and a Greek salad. The salad was incredible! The pizzas were pretty good as well, though I have to point out that they were slightly undercooked. This place uses a wood-fire oven, and I think they might still be figuring out exactly how to cook with it. That said, wood-fire pizza is fairly difficult to cook correctly. Overall the pizza was still yummy though, you could taste the high level of ingredients. Definitely worth visiting. If I go back I’d like to try the Tre Carne Pizza.

We have eaten at Rye and Pie several times since they opened and love the pizza. Meatballs are fantastic also. Patio is dog friendly so we get to bring our pooch which we love. Ryan the owner really knows a lot about beer and he always has some great new stuff to recommend. If you haven’t tried it yet do yourself a favor and head over there when you can.

Took my two kids there, and it was great pizza. Excellent, brick-oven crust was crispy and slightly-charred. Amazing. The bar area was cool as well. Great service also. Must visit! I will be back.

The beautiful patio brought me in, the delicious food and friendly service have me coming back. I stumbled on Rye and Pie a few months ago, and it’s become my go-to pizza spot in the warehouse district. Wood fire pizza and a warm, cheerful vibe. Hooked on their That’s Amore pizza (fig spread, goat cheese, arugula and prosciutto). The Melanzana pizza, and mushroom toast are also delicious! Would highly recommend to check it out if you’re in the area!

Perfect spot for a relaxing casual dinner out. Staff was friendly and the food delicious, ordered a Greek salad to share and the meatball appetizer as meal for my 7y old, marinara sauce was yummy. Pizza was amazing, fresh, light and the sauce had the right balance of flavors.

My wife and I had an early dinner here recently. First let me say that wait staff could not have been friendlier. We had the Greek salad and it was enough for 3 people. The melanzana pizza was delicious--perfect crisp crust with just the right amount of ingredients. This is the first review I've ever written on a restaurant, but I felt compelled to write this after reading the scathing review by someone who apparently hasn't eaten in this restaurant. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

You need to order from a small window opens to outside and seat and eat outside. Tacos are 5 $ and chips and salsa/guacamole is around 12$ ( too much for what it is).
