The vegan bagel sandwiches are to die for. I'd be here every morning if i lived nearby. I love thats there's a coffee bar right inside the shop. Being able to fully customize what's on my sandwich was a plus. I love that they have their own vegan cream cheese as well. I hope to be back one day!

Seriously the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time and a great coffee to top it off. I love the neighborhood and all of the people stopping by to grab a coffee or a quick bite. Such an amazing little neighborhood and a perfect shop to compliment the area.

Everything about Small Mart is a 10/10, food, service, & vibes. Such a cute spot. I love the bagels as much as everyone else but wanna highlight their lunch! The taaza salad is fresh, hearty but not heavy, I never had anything else like it. The samosa is cooked perfectly & with their chutney is so delicious.

I used to frequent their previous location on lower Decatur and the new space is much, well, spacier! Still strong with the good food and cool staff. NYC bagels are legit and they definitely haven’t ever skimped on the cream cheese. Get it y’all.

This is an awesome little coffee and bagel shop in the Marigny district of New Orleans! Located just outside of the French Quarter, we went here on our first morning in town and will definitely be back. The bagels were perfect! Chewy, fresh, and with the usual assortment of flavors: everything, sesame, onion, cinnamon raisin, pumpernickel, and more. Best to get here early as some of the flavors run out as the day progresses. There were several smoked salmon and cream cheese options and fair bit more to choose from to sandwich between the halves of your bagel. The remainder of the menu offered several other fresh options, including plenty of vegan ones. In fact, other than the bagels, everything else on the menu was vegan! I can't comment on those dishes though, as we were focused on the bagels. But, just for reference, they included curry and chaat bowls, salads, and sandwiches, and even a vegan burger. The coffee is ordered at a separate station where I had a fantastic double espresso served with my favorite accompaniment of a small shot of cold soda water on the side. According to the sign, only non-dairy oat milk is served. If you haven't tried it, give it a go. I have switched and never looked back! Get on down here, you will love it!

Smells amazing when you walk in and such quick and friendly service! Kind of a hole in the wall spot with minimal bar seating so more of a grab and go spot. Food was greaaaatt had the chaat bowl and the curry with a pakora added.

Their bagels are flown in from New York! We loved their jalapeño cream cheese made in house. I love the Norwegian bagel sandwich from the menu- perfect smoked salmon with just the right amount of dill and onion. *chef’s kiss*. Samosas are awesome as always, and I liked their vegetarian hamburger made with a beet-potato-pea patty. Their coffee is also great, and everyone there is really friendly. If I was vegan or vegetarian this would be in my daily routine, seems like there were lots of options.

I love everything about this place. The NY Bagel with salmon and vegan cream cheese was absolutely delicious. The vibe in there is total "neighborhood bliss." Super friendly baristas making serious coffee. I'd move in if they'd let me :-)

Even a displaced New Yorker could be proud to bite into one of Small Mart’s amazing bagels with house-made cream cheese. The breakfast sandwiches have a wide variety, though we haven’t yet tried them because the bagels are so delectable. The chai is also lovely, nicely spiced, unsweetened and served hot or iced. If tea’s not your thing, there’s an attached coffee shop (Pond) that serves up great oat milk lattes. My favorite order is an everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese.

It's small (very small) but it's special. I went because I heard they had kombucha on tap (two different flavors each day) but after the delicious bagels and vegan lunches, I was sold. I'm there a few times a week. I'm still working my way through the lunch menu but the salad and the curry dish are my favorites so far. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!

It’s rare that everything you try from a restaurant is outstanding. Seriously, their bagels are great, coffee great, the Indian food is amazing. Vegan options, non-veg options, reasonable prices.

This place is small, but with unrivaled efficiency of movement inside. The people behind the counter are always personable. There is a well curated assortment of pretty much anything you might need. The menu is short and their food is GOOD! Whatever they offer, say yes. Their iced coffee is better than most coffee shops. Vegan stuff.

Walking back from our parking area, we found this little coffee and bagel house. Still disoriented from our fun yesterday, we stopped in for a little reviver. Delicious hot coffee, warm hospitality, an amazing bagel slathered in cream cheese and a vegan zucchini muffin fit for a king. Couldn't ask for a better way to begin our day! Thanks!

This place has really good curry and pakora. My cousin is vegan LOVED their food. There is limited parking with the location being in the french quarter but they are really quick. The prices were amazing. I eat meat and can't wait to go back.

Most excellent food! Shared the curry, samosas, pakoras, and bagels. Again, great food, shockingly cheap for the Quarter and the owner was so lovely. Menu good from noon to six so don't be too late (or too early.) Sad I hadn't found this place before today but looking forward to visiting often I the future.

Nothing beats Small Mart. Must visit if you are vegan/vegetarian and in the FQ/Bywater. My favorite is the tofu vinaigrette salad and my husband loves the chaat bowls. A true gem in a mountain of tourist spots. Vegan, queer-friendly, community-oriented and affordable. They don't sell booze but they have kombucha in bottles and on tap. Is this heaven? It's Small Mart.

Even though the French quarter caters to tourists, there are still many treasures buried between its storefronts. Small Mart appears to be a basic convenience store from the street, but step inside and suddenly you've entered the world of Small Marts owner. Stocked with cold drinks, snacks, and deli items, it's great for a snack. But what makes this place truly unique is the daily special. The owner cooks from scratch, and without fail it's always delicious! (and cheap!)
